Very disappointing. I was very excited to try this place for a long time. I have seen many good reviews about their fried chicken. To be honest it was one of the worst experiences of my life I have made with fried chicken. I have ordered 9 chicken wings with soy and garlic sauce. There was any flavour of garlic. The chicken wings where very small with a lot of batter on it. The flavour was so blend. I don’t understand the hype for this place. What a waste of money. I have tried many other Korean fried chicken places especially in the uk. They are much better. I will never go there again.

Chicken was nice, portion could be a bit bigger. Potato coated hot dog was pretty mid. I didn’t like the taste of sausage, coat was okay but I expect that main charakter - sausage - will be really high quality and tasty. Well, didn’t continue eating this after first bite. 🥲

I was extremely happy with this food. From a very long time I wanted to eat proper Korean chicken and finally I found it. You can choose chickens in different tastes and they all taste cool. Hotdog was top of the top for me! It really was my taste. Everything also looked nice. The only thing which I would change is the quality of a chicken, I had a feeling that it's a cheap sort of chicken and it would be 10 times nicer if it would be a better one.

The pancakes were amazing! Today’s special was also good, though a bit too oily. Still, I would definitely order it again. My only disappointment is that they only offer filter coffee—I would’ve loved to enjoy a flat white or cappuccino with the pancakes.

I finally checked off my to-go list and tried out this brunch place, and I must say, the food was a wild ride of flavor-filled goodness!! I ordered the mix plate, which included pancakes, waffles, and eggs, and it was delicious. The variety and flavors were on point. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The only drawback is that the food took quite a while to arrive. However, I appreciate that the menu clearly states that the food may take longer. It's a good heads up, so I would recommend not going there when you're super hungry and in a rush or you might just transform into the Incredible Hulk. I will definitely be back

Amazing brunch, friendly staff and yummy cocktails—what more could you wish for? This place is super cosy too! The food took a while to come (as they’ve explained in the menu), but it was so worth it. The sweet and salty brunch was incredible and also very filling :) They have a handsome dog here too, which is a big plus to me.

Unfortunately, we can not agree with the repeatedly expressed recommendation in foodblogs at all. For us, Geist im Glas is totally overhyped. Our visit was overshadowed by negative experiences from start to finish and will therefore be our last. When we arrived, a small line had already formed. We were placed on a bench and could order something to drink, while waiting for a table. Before I had even looked through the card, a red-haired waitress suddenly arrived and tore the card unannounced from my hand and gave it to other guests. We then got a table quite quickly, but then the longest waiting time ever begun. We (and also other guests next to our table) waited 90 minutes (!) for our food. Two of us had a coffee flat rate and wanted to pour themselves some coffee after no waiter cared about us. Thereupon, one of us was reprimanded in a very rude manner to refrain from doing so. This was not the only negative experience with the service. The same waitress from the beginning was also responsible for us later. Her vibes were unbearable. She seemed to absolutely hate her job and her behavior was rude and unfriendly. Surely it is not always easy to work in service. And we are also used to a somewhat rougher tone in Berlin. But if you don't like working with people at all, as she made impression, you'd better look for another job. Otherwise, you just spoil everyone's day. When the first food arrived, I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. In the end, the wait wasn't even worth it, as the food was average at best. The prices are also quite high for the small portions. In the end, you could not even pay with a card. Our conclusion: Save your money, don't get screwed and avoid this place.

Favourite brunch in the area😍 so nice to sit out with really good coffee or also alcoholic brunch drinks. I got the tiki lemonade which was sensational and a beautiful breakfast muffin. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Fantastic breakfast/brunch. Great to see a place that has so much variety for breakfast and also has such great quality of food on the menu. My partner was so excited that he wanted everything… and was even happier when I pointed out that he could have the mixed plate with waffles, pancakes and huevos rancheros. I had the chicken waffles and added the maple bacon. That bacon is fantastic perfect crispness and sweetness of the syrup. I was so impressed with the chicken in the waffles as it can often end up dry, but this was still juicy and crisp. I would ask for more sriracha sauce next time though, but I love lots of sauce. I stole a lot of my partner’s pancakes because they were so good and the dolche leche on top was absolutely excellent. I had gone wanting a cappuccino but the refillable filter coffee was much better that I thought so was happy with this anyway. Service was good as well. Staff were friendly and quick with requests. It made for such a lovely lazy breakfast. We will be back and recommending.

Guten Tag offer delicious snacks, though the portions are a bit pricey. The atmosphere is very urban, with the little hut located under the U-Bahn and surrounded by two streets. It’s not the coziest, but for takeout, it is a great place to get authentic Korean food!

Two years ago I wrote in the 5 star review that was one of the best fried chicken ever tried. The one with soy sauce was amazing. I tried again last week and it’s completely different: Texture and taste was totally anonymous. In addition to this, the prices have risen too much in the last period, keeping the same portion size. Fried chicken should be and remain street food, with street food prices. I’m sorry about this negative change..

Good Korean chicken in fine price. Unfortunately it's based in ugly place without any possibility around to sit. It's a lot of dirt all around. French fries were bad, not salty at all. So I would say take only chicken take away.

I loved this place, even when mistakes were made I didn't care. I used to live pretty close to schonhauser alle and went very often. Since I moved, I've been ordering through uber eats sometimes. Introduced by a friend as a express lunch option we went their for a afternoon snack. Sharing six pieces no bones ban ban sauce(half soy garlic, half chilli sauce) and some chips. Apparently they rose their prices. For the same price you dongbei the chips anymore. It was good, tasty and juicy. Service was rather fast. Next time I will go there and get some big chips which are salty inside not relying on salt.

My best breakfast in Berlin. I am a big fan of meat Tatar and oh boy I wasn’t dissapointed at all. Bread was fresh, bacon crispy and good coffe gabe me wings to explore Berlin:)

While we were eating there was a renovation work going on inside with a drill and unfortunately the noises were not pleasant at all... Also I don't think there is a need to make a reservation as it was empty and what we ate was good. Manager offered complimentary coffee for the inconvenience they caused, at least this was nice

Chicken and waffle are extraordinary. Every other dish we tried is not at the same level unfortunately. But no need to try anything else, the chicken is everything. Place is nice, they take reservations and food came quick.

It's a place too good to be true. Imagine a fine dining quality restaurant that only does brunch. Brunch on a complete different label. So far every dish I tried here was exceptional. From the signature and legendary Chicken and Waffles (Always one order per visit) to the Roast beef Foccacia and the bread pudding. It's worth it. A place to impress, definitely not your everyday place, but you should if I had the funds I would. You literally can taste the staffs experience and dedication. Even a grilled cheese is an experience her!

We enjoyed our brunch. Served food is amazing and delecious. You need a reservation for brunch. Vegan/ vegetarian dishes also available. Only coffee was not hot and fresh squeezed juice not cold, can be improved in my opinion. However, a clear recommendation and we will plan to come back.

If you are looking for a place with excellent food and service you should try Frühstück 3000. Don't expect your standard kinda place as this is far better than that. Great selection of menu items including vegetarian and vegan as well as good wines and cocktails. Tsu tsu is an affordable yet amazing Japanese restaurant that has extremely hospitable staff serving halal Japanese food for the first time in Berlin. I loved the Karaage and can't wait to be back here. The miso soup was simple yet so enjoyable, it was like a warm hug. The portion size was adequate. The ramen was great as well. The only comment I can make is hopefully the ambience improves in the near future and they relocate to an address where they can have indoor seating.

Where did the goldies magic go? I came craving those iconic dirty fries—once some of the best in Berlin. What a disappointment it was to see only truffle fries and chili cheese fries on the menu now. The best quality-to-price garlic fries? Gone. Still, we gave it a shot. Then came the fries. There’s no more homemade magic—just standard-issue frozen golden longs you’ll find anywhere. Smaller portions too (price reasons, I get it). At this point, Burgermeister’s got the better fries. Weird decision to drop your unique concept and turn it into another random burger joint with no personality. The burgers were solid. But this isn’t the place I used to hype to friends. If you’re in the mood for indulgent, satisfying junk food, this fried chicken spot absolutely hits the mark! I ordered the classic chicken and fries, and let me tell you—the portions are enormous. Each piece of chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries were on point as well, golden and well-seasoned, the perfect complement to the main event. The one thing to note is the price. It’s definitely on the higher side, especially for a fast-food-style meal, but I’d say the quality and sheer quantity make it worth it.

It’s nice, but not mind-blowing. The mashed potatoes with gravy are a wonderful addition to the menu. The classic chicken wings were alright. Homemade pickles were great. Overall, it’s worth trying out once, but if you’re a fan of Korean style fried chicken like me then this restaurant might not me the best option for you.

Everything was delicious. Biscuit was super fluffy, ribs were saucy, chicken was crisp and fresh, macaroni also perfect and the coleslaw was crunchy. And the fries were cooked to perfection! I loved every bite of this! The owner was also really friendly. Atmosphere indoor was nice, I enjoyed the music and open kitchen. There is also an outdoor seating area. Took cash and card. I recently ate at this place, and the experience was less than ideal compared to what I expected from the photos. I ordered the "lunch special" offer, which included an ice tea, some fries, and an extra small burger. I also added an additional slice of cheddar cheese to my burger and some ketchup, which increased my cost by nearly €3. While the fries and ice tea were good, the burger was below average. It was very small, had cold and unmelted cheddar cheese inside, and some parts of the chicken were a bit chewy. I left feeling let down after spending almost €18 for all this.

Was really excited to try this place after seeing how nice the photos looked like. The drinks, the fries and the dips were all very nice. Sadly I was really disappointed by the chicken. Tried both the classic chicken wings and the buffalo hot chicken wings and they were both way too oily. Especially the buffalo ones were literally sitting in half a cm of red oil, no buffalo sauce, were of course because of that very soggy and in my opinion a very big miss.

This is not your average fried chicken place, I have been waiting for a whole to try it. They have an inside area which seemed a bit stuffed to me, so we sat outside which is super nice specially if the weather is nice. For starters, we ordered the Nashville hot wings, biscuits, coleslaw and 2 Jarritos. The wings tasted really original, were spicy just to the right level and the biscuits were so soft and buttery, I loved them. I was a bit disappointed when i found out that the coleslaw is just german red cabbage salad, I believe the title of this side needs to be changed in order not to confuse any customers. We ordered chicken, mash and gravy for the main dish. It had a really homemade taste to it, pieces are huge and are so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The mash and gravy was so creamy, I wish the portion was a bit bigger. The prices are expensive, but it is elaborated because of the corn fed organic chicken they use and high quality of ingredients in general. I want to come back for the wings, biscuit and try their pickles and fried chicken sandwich. You should definitely give them a try

Casual Korean fast-food bar. The food was okay, service correct and atmosphere nothing to comment. We ordered bits and wings with different sauces but all of them were extra sweet and they tasted the same or very similar. The crust was too fried so it was too hard to chew. Not the best Korean chicken I’ve had in town. I’ve been to this place before and I remembered tastier and cheaper.

I am absolutely delighted by the food I had at Chibee. Everything, in my opinion, was on point. The chicken was carefully and thoroughly battered, which made it extra crispy. The marinade was delicious and I appreciate that it was on the side, so I could dip it myself. The fries were some of the best I’ve eaten lately. It’s like they had an air pocket inside and they were perfectly seasoned, crispy, but also somehow ultra fluffy. All in all, total hit for me and I’ll gladly come back.

I've been both ordering at home and having food in the restaurant several times and food has been superb in both cases, even the deep fried chicken arrived home crunchy. Bibimbap is also amazing, very rich in flavor. 10/10 I can't understand the bad reviews on food tbh.

Today, my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant and ordered the honey butter garlic chicken along with some other dishes. The chicken we had there was boneless and very tasty, so we decided to order more to take home. After paying, we quickly received a packaged chicken box and left. However, when we got home and opened it, it turned out to be all pieces of bony chicken parts and wings. The meat was very tough and nothing like what we had at the restaurant. Also, the salad we were served there was just a few pieces of cabbage and three slices of onion core, which felt very careless. It seems like you really need to double-check what you’re getting instead of trusting the order blindly. I didn’t know that before. On a positive note, the female server was very polite and friendly. I’m not sure if this mistake was due to one person’s carelessness or if this kind of thing happens often, but it was disappointing.

Love the food .. I used to love the Bimbimbap here. I went there this week, the taste wasn’t same like before, and the rice was overcooked btw .. they seem to put so much water in it😂. Thanks anyway

The food is really just average. The egg soup was a flavorless broth with a lot of egg inside, sadly no mushrooms or chicken like the menu mentioned. The pickled vegetable also weren’t pickled, just tasted of salt. The only thing I would recommend are the gyoza. The staff was also very friendly.

Japanese restaurant service authentic food at a very generous price in decent quantities, which made me impressed. Their Katsu is very good, the rest of the food was okay, but for the price I would say it is very worth it. The ambiance is very warm and the workers there are very friendly. They also have many different japanese beer which are delicious. The restaurant can easily get crowded in the evenings, especially in the weekends as it is not very big inside. Mainly giving 4 Stars here because they only take cash.

My family and I always go to Udagawa when we are in Berlin, they serve an authentic comfy japanese food, it reminds me a lot what my grandma used to cook. They have a large option, from sushis and sashimis, to Bento boxes, Ramen and other japanese hot dishes. I personally recommend the Tempura Udon, Tempura and Unagi set and their Oyakodon. The best is that the staff is friendly and the food is delicious and not overpriced as other hyped places.

The food taste is 4 star out of 10, but it looks good. The restaurant is quite small. They have different kind of Japanese food and price is inexpensive so I would give a chance again.

We visited this cool place because we were craving fried chicken and Reddit told us that we wouldn’t be disappointed if we visit this place when their fried chicken menu is on the cards. And yes, fellow redditors were spot on with this one. The fried chicken here was easily one among the best I’ve tasted. Crisp on the outside, soft and juicy in the inside. We tried both the Fried Chicken plate and the Fried chicken sandwich and both tasted amazing. We paired it along with their Yuzu Gin & Tonic and Mazcal Sour which delivered a tangy twist to our palette. Overall, will definitely visit again to try out their changing menus!

Been coming here occasionally since years. Until I took a friend who decided, we'd go every week- so it's what we are doing ever since. Our Portuguese friend who joined us for Portugal week, said they loved it. Another one from New Orleans found Creole vuisine week was 100%. A friend from Chile loves the Blueberry Carolina Reaper sauce, and a Scottish colleague was so happy about fish & chips. A colleague from Costa Rica exported the 7 Pot sauce to give to his family, and myself from the US can confirm CBS got Kentucky fried chicken down! My favorite sauce are Chipotle-Pineapple, and Ghost Pepper- Mango. The food might now come out 2 mins after ordering, but for me it's a good sign. It is always freshly made and quality takes time. No matter what cuisine, it is amazing and worth the wait! All waiters I encountered, are really nice and attentive. See you next week! :)

Very fun and cool place to eat dinner - in an area of Berlin not too crowded by tourists. The place is very relaxed and lay back, with a weekly menu that is updated every week. We had Jamaican food which was really great - combined with their own delicious hot sauces! 💪🔥🌶️ Their had a nice selection of craft beers and everything was very fairly priced. I’m definitely going back next time I’m in Berlin ❤️

Ah, Crazy Bastard Kitchen, the place where flavor and heat come together to make your taste buds dance like they're at an Irish jig. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Irish spice bag with curry sauce, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. First of all, let's talk about the spice bag. It's like a mystery box of flavor, filled with crispy fries, tender chicken, and a variety of spices that are guaranteed to make your mouth tingle. I'm pretty sure I found a chili pepper in there that was hotter than the sun, but hey, who needs feeling in their taste buds anyway? And then there's the curry sauce. It's like a magical elixir that brings everything together. It's creamy, it's spicy, and it's the perfect complement to the already flavorful spice bag. I'm pretty sure I could drink a pint of that stuff and be happy for the rest of my life. But let's not forget about the name of this establishment - Crazy Bastard Kitchen. It's like they're daring you to try their food, knowing full well that it's going to blow your mind (and maybe even your taste buds). I mean, who puts curry sauce on an Irish spice bag? Only a crazy bastard, that's who. Overall, I highly recommend giving Crazy Bastard Kitchen a try. It's like a culinary adventure, taking your taste buds on a journey they never knew they needed. And who knows, you might even discover a new love for spicy, Irish cuisine. Just be sure to have a glass of milk nearby, because this food is not for the faint of heart (or stomach).

While the place looks very basic inside (just white walls and tables), I‘m simply in love with the variety of food you can eat here. They‘re cooking a different cuisine from all over the world every week. I‘ve tried Indonesian and Jamaican so far and both were excellent.

Could this be the most interesting restaurant in the extremely competetive food scene in Berlin? With a weekly menu rotation, homemade fantastic chili sauces for all tastes, local homebrew beer and super friendly staff… very likely! Would absolutely fly to Berlin for the experience again.

As American living in Germany this restaurant has made me so happy and feel like home. The chicken strips and ranch sauce was an amazing appetizer and then the burgers (cooked medium) are highly recommended. It was loud but it was a fun experience and atmosphere. Next time im in berlin i will be coming back.

Just had my second visit to The Bird in Berlin after two years, and they’ve still got it. Same top-notch professionalism, insanely tasty burgers, and honestly the best fries I’ve ever had. The Leffe Blond pairs perfectly with everything. Solid spot that never disappoints.

The Bird in Berlin is hands down my favorite burger place ever! Their BBQ (any any other) burger is absolutely amazing - juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The homemade fries are the perfect side, crispy and delicious. Chris, one of the waiters, is fantastic - always friendly and makes sure the service is spot on. Luckily, I live not too far from The Bird, so I get to enjoy it regularly. Highly recommend!

I honestly don't think you can give less than 5stars... unless maybe you come here with the wrong expectations - and... hey, that's on you (especially after reading my review). This place is a stable. I don't know if they have the best burgers in town (this is something highly subjective and also changes on a daily basis). I've been frequenting this place for 10+ years. And the food has only gotten better. Here's my recommendation: Get the wings. Some "hot wings" and then some "Brodi's wings". The latter are more unusual: crispy, sweet, and flavorful. A more creative take on classic wings, but still approachable and simply delicious! The atmosphere resembles an American sports bar in the best possible way (and without the tv screens). The service is impressively efficient. I've witnessed extremely busy nights (perfectly) handled by only two(!) girls behind the bar. During those nights, service is friendly, albeit short and effective. I do find the steak somewhat overpriced and wouldn't necessarily recommend coming for just that. But if you're in the mood for a messy burger, some amazing hot wings, and amazing German beer - you won't regret your choice. I hope, I'll be able to enjoy this place for another 10+ years and get my weekly fix of delicious wings and fast, yet friendly, service. -Phil

The franks red hot wings are pretty good, but I only received six drums, would’ve been nice if there was a mix of drums and flats. Sauce was amazing, some parts of the wings were crispy which was 10/10, but other times they were really gummy, which I didn’t like. Ranch is also 10/10. They are still some of the best wings I’ve had in Germany, though that isn’t a difficult feat tbh. Overall a solid wing experience for Germany. One thing I will say is that the Caesar salad was disgusting. The dressing tasted nothing like any Caesar I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like straight up olive oil, but not in a good way. I don’t recommend the Caesar salad. There was hardly any Parmesan so it was mostly lettuce and about 7ish croutons. Not worth 8€ IMO. And sorry, but 4€ for a 300ml Coke Zero is criminal even in this economy. Service was good though. I’d go back but I wouldn’t dare get that salad again.

Great burger. Fat and juicy patty, the blue cheese sauce was good, the burger with the Swiss cheese and the mushrooms was great too. The bun is a bit small and couldn’t hold the patty all the way. Huge amount of fries came with the burger.

I’ll be honest as a vegetarian I might not be the target audience for this place anyway. And my friends were telling me that the meat is quite good. But the food was super greasy, burgers were super minimalistic and deconstructed for some reason, meaning you actually just ate a bun with a patty inside and salad and tomato next to it. Idk I wouldn’t recommend it personally. But the staff was quite nice

Facil was the first Michelin-starred restaurant we went to and we definitely made the right choice. If you love food and are in the area, you should definitely book a table. We were there for lunch because there is usually a set menu at dinner and we wanted to choose our own dishes, but we will definitely be back for dinner next time we are in Berlin. The food is absolutely fantastic. Just look at the pictures. They are a work of art and absolutely delicious. Each dish has so much flavor and is unique in its own way. We especially enjoyed the desserts. The staff are of course also exceptional and very nice. When we were there, they made a small mistake with the cutlery, which we wouldn't have even noticed if they hadn't apologized to us.

Facil is one of Berlin’s great restaurants, internationally recognised, and with a price to match that at dinner can cost the equivalent of a couple of nights at the hotel. But if you still want to experience this restaurant without the price tag, they also do a more limited version of their menu at lunch, and at a great price. The food was magnificent, easily one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere, and service was superb. At no time did we ever feel we were getting discount service for the discount meal. A wonderful experience and a highlight of our Berlin visit.

Dining at it's finest! There are few things in life that provide joy, comfort and serenity like the facil's masterfully served, splendid dishes. The service is excellent: swift, polite, calm. The sommelier had perfect wine recommendations at hand for our party of 9 persons. The maitre d' had several additional surprises (entrée & dessert) and they were super respectful, even though constantly at least one of us was wandering around with the kid we brought along (2 yo). Also, the kitchen prepared an extra pasta dish for the kid. Food: from the first to the last dish, everything was splendid, we had beef filet, fish with caviar, beetroot and a nougat dish for dessert. Great, visuals, great taste. A very wholesome experience and a real treat. If you get the chance, treat yourself here. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience you'll definitely not regret.

The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of The Mandala Hotel, near Potsdamer Platz in central Berlin. I arrived a little before opening time and was able to wait in the hotel's lobby. At precisely 12 PM, the hotel staff smoothly guided me to the elevator. Ambience: The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, surrounded by bamboo on the exterior, with flowing water inside, creating a tranquil, garden-like atmosphere. By 1:30 PM, the restaurant was fully occupied, mostly with couples. I was the only solo diner, which made me reflect on the prevalent couple culture in Europe. Service: Since I had listed my country as "Japan" when making the reservation, the staff interacted with me entirely in English. Their English was fluent, and the menu was also in English, ensuring seamless communication. Outside the hotel, I often encountered conversations in German, so I was impressed by the staff's professional approach. Menu: The lunch menu offered a prix fixe option with Two Courses (€68) or Three Courses (€88). I opted for the Three Course meal, which included an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. - Appetizer: OCTOPUS 'BOMBAY' - BEETROOT, FENUGREEK, AND VADOUVAN A Mumbai-style octopus dish featuring a blend of fragrant spices, with a distinct curry essence that stimulated the appetite. The interplay of flavors, enhanced by the sauce, made for an exciting tasting experience. - Main Course: CORN-FED CHICKEN FROM PRIGNITZ - GOCHUJANG AND KAFIR LIME The chicken, raised in the lush natural environment of Prignitz, was reportedly raised under stress-free conditions with a special diet. Though small in portion, the flavor was rich and well-defined. - Dessert: THE HAZELNUT-BANANA, COCONUT, AND LEMON* The elegantly plated dessert was irresistibly cute. The combination of cream, sauces, meringue cookies, and sorbet provided diverse textures, while the sweetness of hazelnut paired harmoniously with the tanginess of banana, lemon, and cassis, making it an engaging dish until the very last bite. Overall Impression: FACIL is an elegant restaurant with a refined atmosphere, highlighted by its glass-enclosed interior and bamboo surroundings. The amuse-bouche, reminiscent of chirashi sushi, reflected a respect for Japanese culture. Although the portions were small, they were visually and tastefully satisfying. The dessert, in particular, exceeded expectations, delivering a stunning experience both aesthetically and gastronomically.

Facil is a memorable dining experience. Beautifully crafted dishes of delicate and varied textures and tastes are artistically plated. My husband and I enjoyed the setting of the atrium garden light which pours through at lunchtime. The service was impeccable.

I went here to have dinner, and ordered the best seller: gemüse kebab. It came with chicken, cheese, sauces (one spicy and another with garlic) and multiple vegetables. The pita bread was hot and crispy, the meat tender and flavourful and the rest of the ingredients made it a 10. They have a tea machine to get one while you wait or for dessert. The worst part is that the place is packed, and the wait time can be a bit long.

If you plan your day right using the Google Map's traffic data, you can skip the long line. When I arrived, I just had to wait for like 10 mins to place my order, 20 mins to get my order. However when I was leaving it there, I saw a huge line out of the store. The food quality is very good. It is the most delicious Doener in the whole Berlin. Simply because they are using real meat instead of using meat combined with bread. It is Doener, so it was pretty oily. Portion was enough. Not too much or not enough to make one pax full. There was free tea for everyone to grab. Which makes the experience very authentic. The ambiance is very clean and enjoyable. The only problem was that it only accepts cash. I sincerely wish that this country moves away from being cash based. I mean not even 3rd world countries use cash anymore. Shouldn't the first economy of Europe do something? Perhaps this is one of the reason of its demise ....

Rüyam Gemüse Kebab is absolutely amazing! It’s one of those must-try local spots in Berlin where you really taste why kebabs are such a big part of German street food culture. The meat is perfectly grilled — juicy and flavorful — and the fresh vegetables add such a nice balance. The bread is warm, soft, and slightly crispy on the edges. Everything comes together perfectly with their special sauce! Even though there’s usually a queue, it moves fast and the food is totally worth the wait. You can really feel the lively Berlin vibe here — simple, authentic, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best kebabs I’ve ever had in Germany!

Dürüm Döner was juicy and tasted really good. Big portion as well. However, on midday Saturday it took about 50 minutes from walking in to having it in my hands: the queue to order was "only" around 10 minutes but it took another 40 for the kitchen to fulfill the order. Cash only.

overrated :/ long line, waited for 40 mins (it’s friday night to be fair) but the döner wasn’t even that good. the meat (chicken) was nice, but the grilled veggies were cut so small, you couldn’t even taste them! the bread was too thick and not crispy enough. sauces were so low inside the döner and the veggies-meat distribution was not even at all so it wasn’t a good döner experience overall. immerhin gabs tee und war trotzdem lecker, aber verglichen mit anderen dönern hat rüyam unverhältnismäßig gute reviews.

I recently visited Rüyam Kebab in Berlin and it was fantastic. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were fresh, and the portion was generous. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though the place was busy. One of the best kebab experiences I’ve had in Berlin. Highly recommended!

Really excellent food and service, I love the commitment to sourcing ingredients sustainably. All the fish was good, but the grilled items particularly so. The savoury dishes were stronger than the desserts, but overall for the quality and the ingredients I think it’s a fair price for the whole menu.

Let’s start of with this place is amazing! Had dinner here this Saturday night, we arrived super early as there’s no booking due to COVID 19 restrictions, so got ahead of the crowd. Service was exceptional, very friendly and warm staff, super knowledgeable about the dishes and the very interesting wine list. The VIBE was also great! We had delicious dish after delicious dish, each having complex layering of flavours, but with simple and beautiful plating. The plates are small sharing plates, that are flavour packed and toe curling good. Three of us shared 9 plates and came away satisfied, full and happy. Go online check the menu that they publish and see what delights you’re in for. Another cool thing, is you can see on the menu who’s supplied the meat/veggies and other products that you are eating in each dish, small local farms, artisans etc. To sum up, cooking of the highest caliber, interesting insightful flavour combinations, a must visit in Berlin. I actually expected more from this place. The price is too high for what you get. Some of the dishes weren’t well executed and the service could have been better as well. Starters were better than the main. Quail wasn’t tasty, included oranges that weren’t mentioned on the menu and also was over cooked.

The tasting menu was very nice. Interesting flavours, attention to detail, and I cannot fault the execution at all. The staff is friendly too. It isn’t a bargain for Berlin standards but also not exorbitant for what you are getting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place

They are now doing takeaway fried chicken & burger steak sandwiches. The chicken one is very very good - it has a tonkatsu style breading with a great smokiness and bbq flavour from the teriyaki-style sauce. It comes with a homemade eggy bread which is just perfection. The steak one was not as good in my opinion. It felt a bit like biting into a large piece of undercooked meat (not enough texture and too chewy). The plum sauce was a bit too sweet and rich for my liking. Overall, they were good and I was happy to support.

Finally made it to Mrs Robinson's and ohh my god it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff are superb, attentive and just the right amount of chatty. And the food is simply stunning. We've had the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was heavenly.

Went on a Wednesday early afternoon and didn't need to wait for a table. We got the latte, iced tea, pancakes, and egg, sausage and cheese muffin. Everything was very delicious. The sausage was perfectly spiced and meaty, and the bread was fluffy. Best pancakes ever!

Annelies makes probably the dreamiest pancakes in the world, and they taste just as good as they look! just make sure to share or it can get a bit overwhelming. the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich was also super tasty and indulgent, though a little on the sweet side with the pancake buns. chill vibes, decent flat white, and I’ll definitely be back, mainly for those incredible pancakes! 🥞

This café is a popular choice when searching for cafés in Berlin, especially for its famous 4-stack pancake. We visited on Wednesday morning before it opened, so we managed to get a table quickly. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is okay. We tried the famous buttermilk pancake, and it was delicious. It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, almost like Korean hotteok. The cinnamon bun was average, with a doughy texture but overly sugary. The coffee was strong and good. If you’re a pancake enthusiast, it is definitely worth checking out the pancake. But if there is a long queue, I would probably go for an alternative.

the food at annelies is very aesthetically pleasing and literally works of art, and it’s a quality place for interesting twists on classic breakfast/brunch food, but i will say it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get. the buttermilk pancakes were stacked high and each one was thick and soft and a bit warm. i absolutely LOVED the combination of cold, fresh cultured cream — which had a smooth, bright dairy flavour — and the thick slice of rich, velvety butter. the slightly sour yet sweet berry compote and the earthy nuttiness of the crunchy granola also added a fantastic touch. the syrup was sweet and sticky, but quite normal. the sausage breakfast sandwich is very .. american tasting??? the egg was super soft, and the pancake was a nice touch because it added a bit of sweetness, but i think the savouriness of the (very thick and juicy!!!!) sausage and the large slice of american cheese made it a little bit too salty. the spicy mayo was sharper in flavour and a bit tangy, but it was also quite salty. it was also quite difficult to eat because of how high it was stacked. i really enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast though — the egg was super silky and the sourdough was crispy on the outside yet super soft on the inside ?!?!? the tangy red sauce on the side was also quite the unique pairing and i liked the little kick it provided.

The pancake was great! But the service ruined everything. The person who gave us a table he was great. But We sat down for like 15 mins, no one came to get our order. The one waitress who walked by us several times, served table around us, but couldn’t bother to give us some eye contact or to come and take our order. The people who came in later than us, sat down later than us, got their order taken first, some table got even coffee served already… I am not sure, if this girl had any issues with us?! I mean.. we didn’t interact with her at all, so there shouldn’t be any beef between us? But then .. why?! I had to grab another waitress just to order… Also I heard that they offer a bottle of tap water for free, as we walked in, I did see all the tables have a bottle of water, so I thought okay they do offer that. But of course, for whatever the reason, we did not get that either. Finally this one waitress started to bring our coffee to the table, she came with coffee in her hand and a very weird look on her face. Usually I am not a sensitive person but I started to think she just hates Asians. So in the end they brought the bill and mentioned about tips, I chose “no tips” on the machine because i mean.. NO.

Wow. Now I understand why this cafe is so famous in the neighborhood! I found this place on timeout before visiting Berlin, and it was really the highlight of the trip 😂We are lucky to be there early as there was already a queue before the place is open. Of course, I came here for their well known pancakes. The pancakes were unlike anything I’ve had before — super fluffy, light, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in how they’re made. Coffee is also good I ordered an extra matcha latte to try and it was really good too! Definitely worth the hype and a must-visit if you are in Berlin and love pancakes!

Went to this kebab spot at lunchtime during rush hour — the place was packed, which is always a good sign. They’ve got three skewers: one they call “steak,” one with regular döner beef, and one chicken. All of them looked big and appetizing. I went for the steak döner, and it came loaded with veggies and a nice touch of feta on top. Super fresh, really tasty, and definitely a step up from your standard kebab. At €9, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth it. Card payment from 10€. Overall, great place for a kebab — fresh, flavorful, and filling. I’d recommend it.

I tried the chicken döner at Mustafa’s Can Gemüse Kebap in Berlin. It was very much a street food experience; I wasn’t expecting an extraordinary taste, and to be honest, the flavor didn’t go beyond that. Coming from Turkey, I’ve eaten countless döners in my life. Compared to the Turkish style, the addition of vegetables was unusual for me, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. Turkish döner often feels a bit heavy to me, while the German-style döner is lighter and fits my palate better. The bread, however, wasn’t really my favorite, and the price felt higher than many other options in the city. Still, it’s an interesting spot to try if you want to experience one of Berlin’s iconic street foods.

Visited Berlin for a quick two-day business trip and didn’t have time to see much of the city, but guess where I had dinner both nights? A tasty meat doner. Juicy, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had outside of Turkiye. Didn’t see Berlin, but left totally happy (and full)😅

The best doner you are going to have period. As a doner lover, coming to Berlin to try Mustafa's Doner was a great experience. Berlin doners are very famous and Mustafa's doner is probably the best for his style.. We had a great time here with very chatty staff who took such good care of us. We absolutely loved it. Berlin is lucky to have such good doner as this place.

Ive been to RISA in 2019 and had a good experience: well made chicken burgers with fresh and good ingredients, it was when I discovered that arugula goes well with chicken. For my surprise in a visit today, the ingredients were not the same. The experience was frustrating. Totally disappointed.

Best place in Berlin for Fast Food. We had grilled chicken with rice and chicken wings and it is so delicious and mouth watering. Place is bit busy and you should have 30-40 minutes waiting time before your food. The only thing to improve is the order number system and they should have number display system.

Although it’s a popular place, the quality of the food is so bad. The oil they use to cook the chicken is terrible that it really upsets the stomach. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, especially if you care about your health.

Got food poisoning. Went quite late (3 am) so keep that in mind. I got süßkartoffel Pommes, My boyfriend got some fried chicken. The fries were fine but I felt a bit nauseous after eating some- could just be too much oil. I felt fine soon after My boyfriend unfortunately was throwing up (etc) within a couple of hours. It was the only thing we ate differently in the 24 hours before. The chicken and fries were ready even before we paid as they are sitting in a heated glass box for quick serving- but I assume given how late it was, the food sat there for too long and was no longer good. He was fine within 12 hours so it wasn’t horrible, but definitely not great.

We arrived around 19:30 on a Sunday evening, and all the outdoor seats were already taken, so we grabbed the last available spot inside. Seeing the long line of locals waiting raised our expectations. We ordered boneless chicken with sweet chili and soy sauce, sharing it between two people, and it was more than enough to leave us full and satisfied. There were plenty of Korean dishes and drinks on the menu, but we skipped them since the prices were a bit high. Speaking as a Korean: this is some pretty authentic Korean fried chicken. The sweet chili sauce with peanuts tasted just like the kind I used to eat back home. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I crave proper Korean fried chicken!

The place is always very packed. Better to place a reservation before coming here. As for the food, it's pretty good. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful, although I was it a bit more spicy. I found the price to be a bit expensive compared to the amount of food. Other than that it's pretty good and you can't really go wrong here.

If you are looking for the best chicken in Prenzlauer Berg try Chicken Coma. Kokio chicken was dry and bland.tbey are obviously batch cooking and keeping under heat lamps so it is just like a KFC. The fries are also frozen.. when all you do is chicken and fries that they can't do it well. I also didn't like that they wouldn't change the fries for something like kimchi. If you don't want fries they will give you more chicken..not all of us want to over eat! Giving the feedback to the staff member on the bland and dry chicken..he just smiled and walked off..so obviously wasnt really open for negative / constructive feedback. As mentioned before if you are looking for great fried chicken in Prenzlauer Berg, try Chicken Coma and skip Kokio.

it is overall good, the portions are very generous, but the place is very small and dark, it's suffocating. also the chicken always has some bad bits like cartilage, you need to chew carefully or spit some parts. not a pleasing eating experience, even if the taste is good

I think it is so far the best Korean chicken in town. We had boneless chicken as original, soy garlic, sweet chili and extra sauce spicy sour. Very delicious and I have seen a lot of local Korean here as well. The service is very nice.

Nice and warm place. Karaage are delicious and juicy. The curry udon was great, mildly spicy, and comforting. The service was extremely fast and polite. I can definitely recommend, and will be back!

So good I had to come back again before leaving!! Tried it while visiting Berlin a few weeks ago and it was truly impressive how good everything tasted and how friendly the staff were! They definitely have the friendliest and most welcoming staff in Berlin. You can really tell how much care and thought was put into the dishes, and the noodles are are made fresh by hand at the restaurant! Highly recommend checking it out if you get a chance!

The only udon place so far that reminds me of Kyoto. The taste of udon, the service, the atmosphere and the small storage under the chair! The price to value is totally worth it 👌 Would definitely come back again.

This Tokyo-style udon restaurant is incredibly clean and tidy, creating the illusion of being in Japan. The staff are also Japanese, adding to the space's charm. As a udon specialty restaurant, it's perfect for focusing solely on udon. Traditionally, Japanese restaurants don't sell other dishes together.

The handmade udon was great, al-dente. the tempura was a little bit too much on top, and also they were not flavored. I was expecting the usual wasabi/salt powder that you'd dip in, but they only had soy sauce and shichimi powder. Rather narrow small inside. I would not recommend this for more than 2 people. It was also very loud inside unfortunately. But the food was good. You can pay by card.

I was a little disappointed because I had high expectations for the bacon kamatama udon as it is one of the chef’s recommendations, but it was nothing special. About the place it is really small and the tables are pretty close to each other, but you can still have a conversation.

Tempura is good . But beef is a bit too hard and the soup can be richer. Udon noodle is super good. Overall it’s good.

St Bart is fantastic for wholesome meals and delicious comfort food. Strongly recommend reserving a table as they can get very busy. From start to finish the service was excellent, honestly can say it was brilliant. I can’t wait to return and try the Sunday roast!

A british friend brought me to this place for the famous sunday roast. I was therefore expecting something amazing. However, what I found was the most overpriced "slices" of meat I've ever eaten. It was cold, hard, and definitely not worth the wait or the price. Come to my place on a sunday and I will make you a much better roast for a quarter of the price.

I emailed in advance to make a reservation for my staff dinner group of 8 and St Bart were very responsive. Half my team are vegetarian so we were happy to see that half the menu was able to be made vegetarian for them. Everyone agreed that the food was fresh, delicious and well sized, especially the fish and broccolini. The wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic menu is extensive and we opted for orange wine and my favourite, whiskey sour. Highly recommend for larger groups and staff dinners. Thank you for a special evening!

Visited on Wednesday with a reso. Got a round table at the back that fit 6 people. I recommend doing resos since it was packed. Food was a hit or miss. This was my first time here, but my friends said it’s usually more consistent. Dish recos: Oyster mushrooms, moules frites, beef tartare, baked pear (the sauce paired well with the cheesecake so if you’re with a group, get both desserts) Didn’t like: fish was dry, focaccia was not that fluffy and butter wasn’t salted Pork jowl has potential but only a few pieces in the centre were tender. The rest was overcooked. Good wine and cocktail selection. Service was good up until the end when they were really pushy about paying cash, even suggesting we do partial cash payment.

Yet another overpriced Berlin restaurant. Even though the place looks very cozy and the staff was nice, the food served was unfortunately average compared to the price. As usual in Berlin restaurants, the staff tried to sell their expensive sparkling water, but they do serve tap water, which is a positive point. I would suggest some improvements: 1. Add more options to the menu — the choices were quite underwhelming. 2. Reduce the price of your anchovies — €10 for 5 tiny anchovies, come on… 3. Include chips with the beef dish; currently, the price for both is €44 (!). 4. Add a bit more food overall to the plates so that people leave the place full (and not angry?). 5. Do some deep cleaning — the ceiling lamps were full of dust. The question I asked myself when rating restaurants is whether I would recommend it to friends or go there again. Unfortunately, the answer to both is no. Sorry for the bad review but I believe improvements are required. Of course this is a personal point of view.

Hm. Im not going to sugar coat it. but very disappointing Sunday roast dinner. im just talking about the roast dinner as everything else was great - service, drinks, starters vibe.... To that roast.... •⁠ ⁠gravy was totally bland, like im talking salty water at best bland. Seemed that they hadnt skimmed off the fat from it and it had consistency of water-really bad im afraid. Really annoying as imo good gravy is the second most important element on the plate after the meat. •⁠ ⁠Roast potatoes were boiled new/baby potatoes seemingly finished off in an oven 5 mins. im sorry but not even close to what a great roast potato should be. This i guess is their style of roast potato....so, subjective maybe. •⁠ ⁠Roast beef tough and dry although bone marrow was good •⁠ ⁠Lamb shank was good in size cooked okish (not fall off the bone, no nice crispy fatty bits - just chewy fatty bits) - but lacked any flavour - some rosemary, garlic that you would expect with roast lamb. •⁠ ⁠Roast beef needs horseradish sauce, lamb: mint sauce, pork apple sauce ect. Very disappointing that they didnt have these especially on the lamb which really needs that acidy vinegar touch to cut through the fatty lamb. I mean its always fun and nice to have sauces - oh well. •⁠ ⁠Roast veg bland - at this level i expect some love with the roast veg - maybe honey roasted parsnips, carrots , roasted garlic cloves ects. These were simply Veg roasted in oven with some oil. •⁠ ⁠In general nothing had been seasoned but fine maybe thats their thing. •⁠ ⁠Yorkshire pudding was ok, i guess - but nothing great as they really should be in a place like this and why is there only 1 on the shared veg platter? weird. Roast dinner DIY ALWAYS better. that said this one was very surprisingly very very bland. oh well. I dont agree with some reviews on here about the price or value. for me this is good. What isn't good is the execution. Hopefully they can improve. Of course this is all pretty subjective and just my opinion. Booked a dinner on a Friday night and had a wonderful experience. Every dish was absolutely delicious—we enjoyed it so much that we didn’t leave a drop of sauce behind. Our server, a lovely lady from the UK, made the evening even more pleasant with her warmth and friendluness.

We went to Barra on Tuesday evening for my birthday, and it blew me away. My favorites were the Iberico pork loin and the trout entree. The pork was cooked perfectly, evenly pink all the way through, I'm guessing sous vide was part of their process. The seasoning hinted at cumin and worked beautifully with the charred broccolini, while the barley risotto tied everything together in a rich, savory sauce. The trout was delicate and well-balanced. The fish, trout roe, and what seemed to be a mussel-based crème was fresh, sooo flavorful, and came together perfectly. My partner, who usually avoids coffee desserts, loved the milk ice cream with cacao nibs, coffee caramel, and olive oil. The wine pairings the staff suggested were spot on for the savory courses, especially the trout and pork loin. The vibe is relaxed and casual but with the precision of a much higher-end place. Service was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable without ever feeling pretentious. At €79 for the tasting menu, this is one of the best value fine dining experiences in Berlin. I've been looking for a spot like this for ages, and I'm so glad I finally found it.

We had been looking forward to dining here for a special birthday celebration, but unfortunately, our experience left us feeling unwelcome and upset. Due to a freak storm that caused a complete metro shutdown, we arrived 45 minutes late to our booking. We completely understand that lateness can affect a restaurant’s schedule, and we did everything we could to communicate — we called and emailed twice, and were reassured on the phone not to worry. The email we received also stated we had a 2.5-hour dining window, which gave us hope that we’d still be able to enjoy the evening. However, when we arrived at 7:17pm, our server told us we only had the table until 8:45pm at best, and even that wasn't guaranteed. The way this was communicated made us feel like a problem rather than valued guests, despite our efforts to keep the team informed. Trying to make the most of our time, we ordered quickly based on the server’s suggestions and ended up finishing everything within 43 minutes — we were completely done by 8pm. It left us wondering whether we really had to rush like that, especially since our original booking should have allowed us until 9pm. To add to the discomfort, when I pointed out that my wine glass had a visible crack in it, the server simply poured the wine away and replaced the glass (not the liquid he had poured down the drain) — no apology. It was a small but telling moment that summed up how we were treated: as if we didn’t matter. Most upsetting of all was the tone and attitude of our server throughout. It felt cold and condescending, and instead of enjoying my birthday meal, I felt anxious and close to tears. We had hoped for a celebratory evening but left feeling like we were barely tolerated. We understand that restaurants are under pressure and have timing constraints, but a little kindness and understanding go a long way. Sadly, that was missing from our visit.

Everything was amazing, the food, service, wine were all divine. Every dish was special and well thought out, not to mention absolutely delicious. Highly recommend, would go again!

Buffalo sandwich with 2 pieces of chicken, unfortunately one piece chicken was room temperature, the sauce was really bad, salty and sour. Brioche was soft and tasty. Fries was salty, Korean bbq sauce was bad, garlic sauce was salty and sour. Almost everything was salty or/and sour, disappointed. The best part of the whole meal was sprite.

Great service! Burgers were a little bit too average. Probably the images raise the expectations too high. Not bad food at all, just normal and the garlic cheese sauce is not cheesy. Can be a bit too warm in summer. But the place has good waiters and waitresses! Thanks!

I was full after the first tender. Tastes very nice and we got our food brought to the table one minute after we sat down. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. I like it how all the workers are friendly to each other and make jokes

The chicken was good for the price and serving size. We were able to share a 3+3 Meal. Unfortunately, they gave us the wrong order and forgot to give us the drink but they gave extra dips in exchange for the hiccup. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were enough seating space but be prepared to share a table.

As someone who doesn't typically eat a lot of fast food or fried food, I was a little hesitant to try Slim Chickens. But I've been there three times now, and I can honestly say it's not the food itself that's addictive—it's the sauces, which are out of this world! The food is good, but the real star of the show is the buffalo sauce. It's so tasty that you'll want to eat it on a regular basis. I highly recommend the buffalo burger or any of the chicken with the buffalo sauce—it's the best combination. On the other hand, the fries were a little disappointing and not very flavorful. But honestly, with sauces this good, it almost doesn't matter. If you're in Berlin and craving some incredible sauces and a great chicken burger, you have to try this place. Just be sure to load up on the buffalo!

The chicken was not crispy and was too salty, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Also, instead of proper paper napkins they only had kitchen paper rolls, and those were all dirty with sauces, which was really unhygienic. However, the taste of the sauces was good, and the garlic toast was also nice.

The fried chicken burger is good and juicy, but it’s overpriced and small. I paid 12€ for just the burger—no sides, no drink, nothing. While the quality is there, the portion doesn’t match the price. Tasty, but not the best value for money. However, I would give it another try when I’m craving a fried chicken burger.

The Most delicious chicken I’ve had in Berlin. The picture shows the boneless tenders, available in the regular version or in three different spice levels from mild to extremely hot all bursting with flavor. The truffle fries were also truly unique and had an intense flavor. And it’s halal, for anyone who’s interested – something I truly respect as well. An absolute recommendation. It’s my second time here, and definitely not my last.

Recommended for fried chicken lovers. Got the 2x6 pieces with 4 different sauces to try out - ranch, tropical pineapple🍍, buffalo, and lemon pepper mayonnaise. Chicken was cooked fresh, juicy, and breaded beautifully. The pieces are big (not that sad skinny tiny pieces you often get). Price quality performance is good. I sincerely enjoyed the food. The staff were nice and helpful describing the flavor of the sauces and giving us recommendations.

This place is way to pricey. Saw the price of the Big crunch and told myself that it was a menu with soda and fries, but that was not the case. For a full menu, the price would landed at about 20€!! Crazy. However, the woman at the counter was nice and the burger was (small) but tasty.

Had an amazing brunch here, we’ll definitely be back at TINMAN on our next trip to Berlin! The Reuben was delicious and beautifully toasted, the ricotta brioche with sake-soaked blueberries was lovely and refreshing, and I didn’t try the eggs bendict but my friend said it was tasty and flavourful. The prices may seem a little steep but the portions are filling so definitely worth it. The staff were also very friendly, helpful and attentive. A wonderful café!

If you wanna have a quick breakfast this place is not for you. Service is really slow but it’s just because there was the only one pour girl preparing food for everyone. Saying about food-it’s super good as a coffee as well. Recommend for long cozy meetings with friends.

We had a toasted Reuben sandwich and it was just a delight. They open early in the morning during the week but also weekends which is a great plus. We will definitely return to try additional sandwich combinations. Also super nice staff

If you have made a weekend getaway to Berlin, you can come here by waking up hungry in the morning like us. we came running when we saw this place… we tried a few specials and two kinds of sandwiches. my favorite was the Rueben sandwich! If you want to try it yourself, you can ask for extra eggs 😌 they add a fried egg to your sandwich and it reaches a whole new level! 🍳 Also, the staff are friendly and courteous… If the weather is nice, of course I prefer to sit outside. but the ambiance is very nice 🍃 The only minus is the toilet... you have to go up and down so many floors that you have to go to such places that you think twice when you need to GO, I hope they find a solution for it soon 🤞🏼

I have been to the place right after it opened and now again and there is a huge improvement in the food they serve. No long waiting time like in many popular brunch places in P-Berg. The eggs Benny are lovely! Nice, large portion, good price, very good coffee and very very nice and friendly staff! I think it is the best breakfast place in this neighborhood. I will be coming back for sure.

The food was nicely prepared and tasty, but I have two points on the not so bright side: I asked if any of the egg dishes could be made scrambled and they said no. Scrambled eggs is probably the easiest thing one can prepare with a pan, so I'm not convinced of their "technical difficulty". Besides that: 2) the French toast looks kind a mess, as the picture shows. Wouldn't it be better to stick to the basic use of cups instead of trying to turn a simple dish into a failed artistic attempt? Also, they speak in English to you even if you try to speak German. Not very kind.

Place is a fast food delight, clean and good quality. Fries are unique and tasty, sliders are delicious bites, bun is very well crafted and it’s diverse… Normally i’m not the vegan type but their vegan is good and tasty however the place doesn’t have a bathroom nor a terrace so during this time it’s a bit tricky to go there for a meal but all in all it’s a good address for burger fans!

I‘ve been looking for soft japanese milky bun for so long, and finally found them here! The Fuwa-fuwa bun(which means fluffy bread in Japanese) is really soft and goes well with almost every spread/jam. The bun can last a few days in the fridge. Just follow the instructions attached to the box to toast them with a pan, the bun would taste as delicious as freshly baked. Can’t recommend it any more. My second favorite is the mochi French fries. I guess they mixed some sort of flour to the potatoes to give it a mochi texture. I never had such fries before, and was really impressed. The crackbun burger and karrage burger were decent. But less impressive compared to the fuwa-fuwa bun and mochi fries.

Absolutely loving CrackBuns, especially for their menus. From the one with beef, to chicken, shrimp and veggie, they are all delicious! The size of the burger is small, but packed with taste. One can choose two sliders menu, together with Mochi Mochi fries, which I recommend, or any of the salads available. For a sweet bite, the FwaFwa Buns are super soft and tasty, coming together with a jar of homemade berry marmalade and one of clotted cream. I recommend CrackBuns for anyone that loves a good fast food and is a fan of super soft buns, as well as for the flexibility you have with the menu combinations!

Fuwa Fuwa Buns: totally amazing, I really recommend toasting them even the first day, they become like crunchy clouds! The shrimp patties are indeed mostly cream, it’s good but I would not really want it again. The classic burger is very good, the meat very soft but it’s not your usual burger, it might depend on your tastes. There’s not so much meat and it’s maybe mixed with something else that gives it this texture? The mochi mochi fries are very interesting! They have more of a doughy texture, almost more like fried dough than the regular fries. The name of mochi is so perfect for them.

Their Mochi Fries are nice, even tho I love thin crispy fries I liked them a lot! Their burgers are nice with the Brioche buns, the sweet taste of the buns are perfect with the savory taste of the patties! The only thing I didn’t like that much are the shrimp burgers, the patties were a bit fatty and didn’t have a strong shrimp flavor

Its sooooooo good ! If you’re craving a slider/burger but it shouldn’t be to heavy..try these! I was looking for something comforting to eat after a too long day of work. And I stumbled pass that store. Very friendly service, cute interior decor and the food was brilliant. I tried the crackbun slider and the karaage slider as a side dish I had a cucumber salad and overall it was delicious. Because it was the soft opening week I got a french toast as an amuse..man that thing was made out of clouds and clotted cream...YUMM!!

Went here for a late lunch/early dinner recently - order the Crackbuns slider and Shrimp Gratin Slider (both as combo with the Mochi-Mochi fries). Both were fantastic and very tasty. It’s a little small but ok for a lunch. The fries were very tasty and the slight scent of the truffle oil is a good touch.

Pretty good burger joint. The kerela burger was indeed worth a try and the chicken too. The serving is a bit small though. Overall, the crispiness of the chicken and the spices of the sauces was pretty good. Good experience overall. The vibe of the place is pretty amazing too.

Honestly........the food was very overpriced for the flavor. As a restaurant that focuses on fried chicken, I really felt that they missed the mark. All of the dishes needed salt, and the sauce on the fries was horrible. I definitely recommend you check out some other restaurants if you're in the area.

By now I have tried everything. Only chicken burger is good, rest of everything is mediocre. But the biggest disappointment is their portions. Burgers are of course tiny as other reviews mentioned, but Samosa chat is one freakin samosa with tiny bit sauce for 7.5 freakin euros. These prices would be insane even for Switzerland prices. And please don’t tell me about your high quality ingredients and all other excuses. Its quite clear from most of reviews that your portions are not justified. So either you can take this feedback and improve or see your business decline overtime

One of the best fusion food I have tried in Berlin. The indian spice is on point and both things are perfect. I’d prefer Kerala Fried Chicken Burger more than the Vadapao. Even the beers are amazing with a good selection. But special mention to the service, both the service staffs were great to us and very friendly/attentive/helpful. Keep it up.

Really love the kerala fried chicken and the veg option. What a mess to eat 🤩 The fries are very good, and have a choice of sauces with strong flavors. There are a lot of beers on tap as well, and when the weather plays along, outside seating is available. Highly recommended, as well as their partner Tiffin!

I was really looking forward the burgers from this place but ended up a bit disappointed. Fries: the are good, but expensive for the serving we got. Cheeseburger: I did not love the taste or consistency of the meat, serving was on the medium side, and had a lot of bread. Chicken burger: chicken was awesome, but again, the serving was not proportional to the price you pay for it. We ordered on Wolt and picked it up, it took about 20 minutes, the girl at the counter was really nice.

Was so happy to find The Neighborhood around the corner and all the comforts for a fellow American. Where else can you have mac n cheese, a BLAT, elote, and wings and a magarita. I've had take out a few times, always yummy and hot and fresh tasting even with takeout. I like to get a double mimosa to-go. 😍 the owner is super sweet and makes you feel like home. Can't wait to enjoy everything they have to offer on the patio. Must try!

So so good! I'd been craving American food and this hit the spot. My friends and I shared all the wing flavors, Mac n cheese, Mac n cheese balls and buffao cauliflower bites. Every single thing was delicious. The wings were so crispy and saucy, and the Mac n cheese was so deliciously creamy. Will absolutely be going back. I saw they have brunch, so I might have to check that out... ☺️

I really liked the place, the food, rhe music and the vibe in general. The tacos and the margarita were absolutely stunning. The tacos tasted like real tacos with real tortita and the chili at the edge of the margarita was a great addition!! The margarita was only 6€! But in general it is a bit pricy. 4.5€ pale ales of 33 cl and 3.5 pils (also very good). I paid 65€ for 2 people and we were still hungry. The bites are a bit small. Nice place to impress someone or bringing a date.

not very good taste…The coffee was strange — watery and a bit sour. My friend ordered the matcha latte, which wasn’t great either; it tasted weird, even though it looked really good in photos. As for the food, the waffles and fried chicken were okay, but everything else was pretty average.

Amazing Sunday brunch with a Tex-Mex theme. Plus the coffee is excellent, filter coffee from Bonaza coffee.

Lovely atmosphere and set-up, though the Tex-Mex Breakfast Sandwich only tasted of refried beans and tortilla - was largely disappointing and quite dry. Maybe if the avocado spread was replaced by actual avocado, the texture and flavour balance would be better? All food looked delicious but didn't quite live up to hopes

Minimal and stylish on the outside, pure quality on the inside. Could tell that their speciality coffee and matcha are prepared with real love for the art. Had a breakfast sandwich with fried egg, scamorza cheese and avocado which was real delicious. The flat white and V60 were excellent and the decadent brownie with a peanut butter layer gave it all together a very nice finish.

We came here during our holidays, twice for brunch, the food is very good and the service as well. Coffee is also very good but if I have to make a negative comment, the coffee cups are a bit too small. But overall definitely go there and enjoy your brunch

As a lover of Indian cuisine, I was excited to try Moksa's newly opened restaurant inside Manifesto Market in Berlin. I must say, the experience was beyond my expectations! The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The highlight of my visit was the plant-powered vegetarian thali, which was simply exquisite. The selection of dishes was quite unique, and the flavors were expertly blended to create a mouthwatering meal. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the moong salad added a refreshing crunch to the dish. The chana dal was cooked just right and had a perfect blend of spices. The pickle was tangy and added the perfect kick to the meal. The star of the thali was the Eggplant Curry. The dish was bursting with flavors and was cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the eggplant was tender and cooked to perfection. The dish was accompanied by Makhana, which added a perfect crunch to the curry. The service was excellent, and the chef Zed's attention to detail was evident in every dish. The chicken tandoori thali is named after Kundan Lal Gujaral, the inventor of tandoori 🐔 chicken and it was clear that Moksa takes pride in serving dishes that honor Indian cuisine's rich history. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Moksa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an Indian culinary experience in Berlin. The plant-powered thali was a delightful surprise, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. The food, service, and ambiance all earned a five-star rating from me!

Tried Tanduri chicken, very different spices, no bones, was lunch time and prepared, in addition a Naan garlic butter plus sambusa, very tasty, traditional Indian food, enjoyed. Our wish: Maybe during dinner time, when people have more time, to observe how Tanduri chicken is fresh made, as all spices are added to the chicken in the pan. Our dish was served a bit cold.

Outstanding! When hunting for excellent Indian food in Berlin, you'll often be disappointed, but this place is a beacon of light for all lovers of fantastic spice blends and high-quality tandoor meat. We shared the tandoori chicken thali, which was amazing: a surprisingly large amount of incredibly juicy chicken combined with a great mix of other dishes, excellent cilantro chutney as well as some very spicy pickles; the only thing we'd like to suggest is offering raita as an optional side dish. Also, we appreciated that they didn't add too much rice, which many restaurants use as a cheap option to make the plate look full. Finally, you should know that Moksa is located on the 2nd level of the Manifesto food court - so the atmosphere is quite casual, and there are plenty of other food stalls around. For us, this place definitely goes on the "food to return to"-list. Next time we'll try the Rozza!

Dishes are full of flavor, especially the based on Tandoori Chicken. The place is a fancy food court.

Had vegetarian thali (plant powered thali) and Chicken tandoor thali ( Kundanlal gujral thali) Amazing portions size. Great taste. Owner/staff is super friendly. Go for it. Also don’t miss the cheese Naan.

We had: Chicken Tandoori Rotzza, Cheese Samosa, Goat Haleem and Naan - and everything was just delicious! Wow. Sure it‘s in a mall and yes, prices are a bit higher than your usual Imbiss, but even on a Saturday I found this artsy new food court quite bearable and the pricing is quite fair for the portions and the quality you‘ll get! Will be back. 🎊 EDIT: Went back and got the big Thali and it was WOW. It‘s a bit more pricey but worth every penny imho. Very nice chef preparing the food as well.

I came for the fish & chips… I have to say that the chef did a great job bringing a quintessential British fast food dish to Kreuzberg. The batter was crisp, golden and tasty with just the right amount of connection with the cod. The fish was perfectly cooked with moist and firm flakes and then topped with 'scraps'. Accompanied with hand cut chips and 'mushy' mint peas... Perfect.👌

Was excited to try the pescado tacos (fish tacos) because of a few reviews. Just ordered three. They were ready in record time - because the fish wasn't cooked. They were supposed to be deep fried but they were cold and soggy. Not fresh and not safe to eat. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this place at all.

Best quesadillas I've tried in a while, I love cheesy stuff, fast and easy meal, good vegetarian option.

My new favorite restaurant in Berlin!! I've been looking for good Mexican food in Germany for over 10 years.. this place is by far the BEST. Nowhere even comes close. The barbacoa is amazing, so are the wings and fish tacos. Everything is delicious🔥🔥🔥

This place makes good burritos and bowls. Their veggie option is an additional upside, made with soy meat, beans, and sweet potatoes. They do burritos, burrito bowls, and other tex-mex standards. Food is good, prices aren’t bad at all.

Great take out texmex. My favorite are the fish tacos. The coconut lime lemonade is very refreshing and staff is super friendly.

10/10 veggie burrito, very kind service. Big portions, fresh and tasty. Strongly recommend for street food in Berlin:))
