Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Friedenau, Velicious Cafe is a delightful pastel-hued haven for coffee lovers and plant-based enthusiasts alike. This charming little spot, originally located in Friedrichshain, offers an impressive array of vegan pastries and light breakfasts that cater to various dietary needs, including gluten-free options. The cafe's owner, Steffi—a trained chef and pastry expert—crafts delectable cakes and tarts using spelt flour, ensuring each bite is both indulgent and wholesome.
Really nice new design after the old owner retired. The new store has a really warm atmosphere and is nice to just have a cappuccino and chill. The cheesecake is really good and not too sweet (more like a German style Käsekuchen). I also like how they decided to do vegan as well as gluten free and seem to be quite environmentally conscious with a focus on food waste reduction and reusable/recyclable packaging.

They're cakes are amazing! ❤️ I'm vegan for 7 years and I never found the normal Mohnkuchen German bakeries have and they even have a gluten-free version of it! The Chocolate Coconut Torte is also super good. I love the consistency of the cream ✨
Karla — Google review
Their vegan croissant was absolutely delicious. Very good coffee as well and the lady was super nice. Definitely would recommend it :)
CDM — Google review
We were there today, took two different cakes and both were not tasty - dry, very heavy and the cream did not really have a consistency of a cream. I doubt that we will go back there, which is sad because vegan coffee places are still rare!
Justyna O — Google review
I recently visited "Velicious," a vegan cafe in Berlin, and had a mixed experience. While the baked goods were exceptional, particularly the croissant, which was surprisingly the best I've had in the city despite being vegan, the breakfast menu left much to be desired. The breakfast consisted of a lackluster combination of vegetables, hummus, and tofu pressed together into a paste, which was rather boring. One unusual downside was the absence of restroom facilities, which forced us to go to a nearby place to relieve ourselves. Additionally, I noticed that the owner seemed somewhat stressed, as I overheard some cursing coming from the open kitchen, which was right next to the dining area. Additionally she didn't seem very polite. In summary, I'd give "Velicious" 5 stars for its delectable baked goods but only 1 star for its uninspiring breakfast options. Due to this mixed experience, I'd rate the cafe at an overall 3 stars.
J S — Google review
Cute little vegan cafe with nice atmosphere and homemade-like vegan goodies (cakes) Had a nice apple chocolate crumble which was really nice and a nice hot chocolate. I recommend if you want to enjoy a nice afternoon cake with your coffee
Michel H — Google review
Nice, cozy, small cafe Staff is really friendly, They have a variety of cakes, cupcakes and cookies that changes daily You can choose between a lot of plant based milks for your coffee or hot chocolate too! Everything is completely vegan. They also serve breakfast (Müsli, Brötchen and more), tea, and soft drinks

Şengüloğlu Antep Baklava is a renowned dessert shop in Berlin, offering a wide array of Turkish sweets such as baklava, cakes, künefe, and lokum. This family-run establishment has been perfecting its traditional recipes for nearly 40 years, using only the finest ingredients.
One of my fav places to eat desserts. I can’t say more, this is the most authentic place you can have. Everything is extra tasty and staff very friendly. I love it here.
Maria M — Google review
Very friendly staff, great cakes specially if you need a very cute birthday cake just send them the picture and they will bake it for you! I got more than 4 birthday cakes and all tastes great! The only problem is the location ( no parking is available and if your cake is big you need to park somewhere to pick the cake). Don’t forget a Turkish coffee ! It was amazing 🤩 Im not fan of Baklava but Baklava fans said their Baklava is really fresh and good material!
N. P — Google review
Best Baklava shop in Berlin. I spending here everyweekend atleast. Also I recommended this shop to atleast 10 of my friends.
Rahul R — Google review
For anyone looking to taste some of the best Turkish baklava in Berlin, Şengüloğlu Antep Baklava is the place to go! The baklava here is exceptional — crispy, rich, and packed with the authentic flavors of Antep pistachios. Each piece is perfectly crafted, with a balance of sweetness and buttery layers that melt in your mouth. The variety is excellent, offering options for every taste, including traditional pistachio, walnut, and chocolate baklava. The staff is warm and welcoming, eager to help you choose from their delicious selection. The location itself is cozy, making it a great spot to enjoy some dessert and tea. If you're a baklava lover or simply want a taste of Turkey in Berlin, Şengüloğlu is a must-visit!

One of the most authentic baklava you can taste after turkey in berlin in from them ! Do give a try to there tres leches cake
MIAN A — Google review
Their dessert was tasty! I loved their Künefe; it was well-balanced, not too sweet, and cheesy. The staff was nice, always smiling, and served the orders quickly. They sell many beautiful cakes. I will definitely go back to this place again.
Annisa R — Google review
Arguably you can get the best Baklava in Berlin here! We also ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday from here. Quality sweets and desert to indulge in. I took out one star for the service because: 1) they were too busy on Sunday to take the order of the cake and we had to go again the next day to place the order. 2) when I went to pick up the cake, there appeared to be some misunderstanding from the pre-order and I had to wait a little longer than agreed upon. The quality of the cake however was superb.
Nilanjan D — Google review
Totally delicious! I tried the walnut and pistachio baklava and they were both so deep in flavor and the perfect texture. Very friendly service, the man even waived the 5 dollar card minimum for me.

Round & Edgy is a must-visit spot in Berlin for cookie lovers. The store offers a wide variety of creative and classic cookies, including the popular chocolate chip with sea salt. Customers also rave about the decadent salted caramel banana pudding. The vegan options are particularly appealing, with warm and delicious cookies available for pickup through services like TooGoodToGo. Visitors appreciate the friendly service and enticing cookie scent that fills the store.
Probably the best cookies I’ve had here. Let’s just say once you go thick you don’t go back. The blueberry cookie is sublime in terms of taste, texture, and flavor. I appreciate that it’s not too sweet. Nonetheless, recommend very delicious, soft in the middle oozing with flavor cookies. 1 cookie is 4.50
Jean D — Google review
Amazing vegan cookies. I got four of them and I can't pick a favourite, they were all really good. I wanted to go back and try the ones I didn't get the first time but I was not able to. On the attached picture the top one to the left is the classic chocolate chip, to the right is macadamia and caramel, bottom left is blueberry crumble and bottom right is some sort of ultimate chocolate, I don't recall the exact name.
Tomas S — Google review
I love their cookies and I love that everything is plant-based, and their coffee and matcha are always consistently good. The cookie I had on my last visit, however, was underbaked — the dough inside was still quite wet, which was disappointing. I also wish they had more seating options, and it would be great if dine-in orders were served on real dishes instead of paper. That said, the overall quality and concept are great, and I’ll definitely be back.
Ani S — Google review
Best cookies ever! I used to give that crown to Levain Bakery in NYC and now this took its place. The entire shop smells like cookies, it’s amazing. We went on a Monday afternoon and they didn’t have the banana pudding, will go back again for it. A box of 4 is 17Euros and there was a short line, worth it!
Portia K — Google review
Very tasty not overly sweet cookies and cute space. Honestly one cookie is too much to eat at once. There are not so many seats indoor.
L C — Google review
a truly exceptional cookie and matcha. cookie was warm and slightly gooey in the center but crisp on the outside with a really buttery flavor. don't let the size fool you this cookie is rich and heavy and definitely worth the money. matcha was surprisingly nice quality smooth and strong.
Ray J — Google review
We ordered the Choc Nut Cookie, the Chocolate Sea Salt Cookie, and the Banana Pudding. We’d been once before and loved the cookies so much we had to come back — this place is quickly becoming our favorite cookie spot in Berlin. We’ve tried Levain Bakery in New York and Delambre Bakery in Paris, and honestly, this is as good as it gets. The cookies are top-tier: crunchy on the outside with a beautiful crust, and soft, gooey perfection on the inside. The freshness of the ingredients really stands out — the chocolate is rich and flavorful, and I still can’t believe they’re vegan given how indulgent they taste. They’re dangerously addictive — once you start, it’s hard to stop. 👅 The banana pudding was another highlight — fresh, creamy, and even better than the one I had in New York. Service was okay, the interior has a cool vibe, and while €4.5 for a cookie is on the pricier side, the quality makes it worth it.
Jean C — Google review
I can’t get over them Perfect amount of sweet n salty, vegan aswell You don’t get a sugar rush as u might expect, but actually wanna get 10 more cookies These cookies will be my roman empire So good. Im recommending all of them - honestly amazing My taste buds miss the flavours, and they were not expensive for the way they taste- 4.5 worth it. Also placed in a chill cozy neighbourhood and the inside smells like the best nostalgic bakery

Nestled in the heart of Berlin, Jute Bäckerei is a charming little bakery and café that specializes in rustic, gluten-free organic delights. This cozy spot offers an array of baked goods including breads, muffins, brownies, and sandwiches—all crafted with care for those with dietary restrictions. The team at Jute Bäckerei is dedicated to accommodating various allergies; they encourage patrons to communicate their needs so they can provide tailored recommendations.
Adorable gluten free bakery! Lovely staff who let us sample a few treats. Hard to find good gluten free stuff in Berlin and I’ll be returning here!
Sarah R — Google review
This is a very cute and cosy little 100% gluten free cafe that would be delightful for reading, or catching up with friends. They have some vegan options too. The staff are SUPER warm and friendly. Even the other patrons - one customer wished me “Guten Appetit” as my food arrived, how sweet! I tried a non-vegan margherita pizza, but I have to say it was just ok. A bit heavy and thick. Good flavour from the sauce though. Perhaps their bread rolls would be better as that is what they are known for.
Yogita M — Google review
I had a nice time here this morning. The cafe is cute with a cozy atmosphere, and there is plenty to choose from! Would return :) Pictured is Choco crossaint and bread roll with jam and cappuccino
Leonie P — Google review
Really disappointing. The brownie is NOT a brownie - it was so bland and dry. Zero chocolate flavour. The cherry slice was alright - more flavour needed again. The apple slice was nice. The bread with the carrot inside was quite good for gluten free bread. The little white bread rolls were super hard / stale. It’s always exciting to find gluten free bakeries but then it’s such a letdown when the produce is not good.
JL — Google review
My favorite gluten free bakery in town. Not only is the bread amazing, but the environment is very welcoming and the staff is incredibly kind and sweet. They have many options, both sweet and savory, for celiacs who are unable to eat oats and try to stay away from buckwheat. I cannot recommend this bakery enough; every time I stop by I dream of working there simply because of how wonderful it is. Majority of the food is vegan as well, unless you ask for non-vegan butter to pair with your bread which is perfect for those with gluten, dairy, and egg allergies! I simply cannot recommended this bakery enough! If you are a big fan of bread but have been disappointed in the past with gluten free options, this is the place that will change your opinion entirely!

Oak & Ice in Berlin is a top contender for dairy-free ice cream, sourcing their products from a Polish manufacturer. Their sorbets are packed with fruit flavor, appealing even to non-vegans. The menu includes sugar-free and gluten-free options, such as the delectable dark chocolate flavor and ice cream sandwiches. Traditional scoops are also available for purists. Located on Schonhauser Allee, this spot offers high-quality ice cream and friendly multilingual staff.
Awesome ice cream with. Their creations are amazing! "Real" food for breakfast/brunch or lunch or whenever is just as great. Perfect if you don't want the everyday bread, cheese and nutella. Doesn't look like much at first glance but will fill you good for hours!

Follow @thegourmetscoop on Instagram for the best ice cream, worldwide! A cute cafe with a selection of sundaes and ice cream bowls, plus ice cream by the scoop. Ice cream is nice, but can be a bit overly sweet. Halva is my favourite flavour so far, and their sundaes are very nice. Halva 5/5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🤩 Dacquoise (hazelnut and almond) 3/5 ❤️❤️❤️🤍🤍 Dark chocolate 3/5 ❤️❤️❤️🤍🤍

A genuinely friendly place. Thank you for the every time welcoming vibe and hot brownie with that nice vanilla ice cream 🤤 the kind of place I enjoy having in my neighborhood. Chill and easy going, horizontal communication, casual chats 😌👌🏽

Very cozy. Couches and cushions every where. Next to the usual ice cream flavors they serve experimental ones like goat cheese or ananas & basilica. Also a variety of waffles and cake and salty breakfast options. And big corner for kids and with art decorated walls. Not to expensive either.

I took the vital bowl for brunch, discovered acai. Really tasty. The chocolate cake with dark chocolate bitter ice cream topping was the most decadent chocolaty experience I had in my life. The place is also a meetup for bitcoin. They accepted bitcoin as an experiment.

Cookie shop
Dat Cookie is a popular cookie shop known for its soft and chewy cookies. Customers appreciate the less heavy and sweet taste compared to other similar shops. The Cherry Choc Dream and Chocolate Chip are among the favorites, with the former being particularly praised for its perfect consistency and balanced sweetness. The vegan options are also highly recommended, with fruit-flavored cookies and vegan mascarpone standing out. The accommodating staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the shop, making it a must-visit for cookie enthusiasts.
All cookies are vegan and absolutely delicious! The flavors change seasonally, my favorite is the Matcha Strawberry cookie (10/10!). The texture is perfect: soft, slightly chewy, just right. The coffee is great too, I always love coming back!
Jasmin K — Google review
The cookie flavours were very interesting and change seasonally. For vegan cookies they were pretty good, but some flavours were a bit too sweet in my opinion. The prices are okay (kinda high, but didn’t expect less for a "trendy" place) Would go again for their seasonal flavours, as they are intriguing. I recommend going with a friend though, as the cookies are pretty big.
Leah X — Google review
The cookies were so tasty. I had buy one get one free via Neo taste. Otherwise it would be quite pricy. I had cranberry macadamia and matcha strawberry. They are both not too sweet and have a hint of saltiness. They were also tasty when no longer warm. The matcha was genuinely tasty with tea flavor.
L C — Google review
Dat Cookie in Berlin is a cute little spot in the city center, with a fun vibe and friendly staff. The cookies are definitely the highlight—soft, just the right amount of chew, and clearly baked with care. The classic chocolate chip is delicious, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. That said, the overall taste didn’t blow me away—good, but not unforgettable. The shop could use a few more flavor options, as the selection on my visit was pretty limited. It felt a bit repetitive after the first or second cookie and left me wishing for something extra or a unique twist.Service was pleasant, and the cookies themselves are worth trying if you’re nearby, but it’s not someplace I’d go out of my way to visit. Three stars: tasty, but with some room to improve, especially on variety.
A — Google review
Best Cookies I've had in my life. Came back for them every time I was in Berlin and will for sure do so again. Super delicious. Amazing options. And super friendly people (Big thanks to my favourites Doj and Dija). If you come here make sure to try the Matcha Cookie. Can't go a week without it
Luna B — Google review
Love love love their cookies! I personally think it’s better than any other shops for crumbl cookie like. You’ll love this if you love sugar cookies!
Vernice Y — Google review
The cookies look nice but the taste is only ok. The frosting makes it overall very sweet. The drinks were also only ok. Only one person was working while we went so there was a few minutes wait which I understand but we also didn't even get acknowledged until that moment. I don't think I'll be coming back
Stefanie W — Google review
Went here with a 1+1 Neotaste deal and got the nutella and the salted caramel cookies. Despite having a rich chocolate flavour the cookie wasn't overly sweet, a little more flat compared to many other places but a lot bigger! They're also vegan and definitely hold up to the competition. Hard to rank it against other places as every spot has such clear differences, but overall you won't regret trying these!

Known for its authentic Turkish cookies and reasonable prices, this down-to-earth bakery is conveniently situated near the subway and has generous opening hours.
I usually stop by there every morning or evening for some bakeries and tea. They have many options and all of them are delicious.

Big choice of pastries, either salty or sweet. The location is centrally, easy to find, right next to the U-Station Schlesisches Tor. Staff war alright, could have been bit friendlier though. The sweet cookies (1kg for 14€) were mostly good, but nothing to outstanding. Anyways, great variety and perfect for a quick snack.

Prices are super super reasonable and gives no credit to how amazing these little delights were. Everything here is quality, this is gem for sure, perfect place to come for dessert after getting one of those fat juicy burgers from under the U

I'm so sad that I tried only baklava in here. There were many kind of desserts and the price was reasonable. It's very very sweet but I like it.(more than i tried in Turkey) I saw many ppl buy it for gift.
Soyeon C — Google review
I got this cake for 18€ which was amazing. There are always 3-4 options available for birthday cakes. The bigger one was of 32€. It was not sweet like I would have wanted but just enough.

Mubis Cookies offers a unique twist on the traditional American cookie, with their thick and indulgent treats filled with sweet creams. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a pleasant stop for a quick treat. However, some inconsistencies in size and texture have been noted by customers. Despite this, the wide variety of flavors, including vegan options, such as chocolate-filled cookies, makes it a worthwhile visit for those craving something sweet in the area.
These might just be my fave cookies in Berlin now. Went here with a Neotaste 4 for 2 deal, the place is quite small, definitely better for takeout but you can sit inside as well. Wide variety of flavours from classic to a little crazier. I took them home and they genuinely still tasted freshly made, a little soft and very rich with the toppings/flavours, absolutely recommend!
Rowin — Google review
Absolutely insanity how delicious these cookies are. I have been here a few years ago and had not fresh cookies and they were good but not like tonight. Tonight I had fresh warm cookies and wow. Mind blown. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Shop is small with no indoor seating. Cookies are on the pricey side but soooooo worth it.
Sophie P — Google review
The best cookies on the planet. They really have a huge variety of flavors available and they are all to die for. The cookie dough is really nice and soft and the cookies are really big. My favorite cookie was Lotus and Kinder Bueno flavour. You simply have to try this in Berlin, its truly divine. 👌💖
Leon K — Google review
These cookies are super delicious! Love everything about them! Arguably one of the best cookies shops in Berlin! Highly recommended!
Ala A — Google review
Really good cookies, huge, and soft and gooey on the inside. We bought 4 and we ate two of them the day after, without reheating, as we were in our hotel, and they still tasted good. My absoute favorite was the apple and cinnamon, it's one of the best cookies I've ever had! Bring cash as they didn't take card payments. Best to eat them fresh but still good after!
Nuria Y — Google review
The best cookies in all of Berlin in my opinion. It’s a small shop with about 3 small tables. Service is always great and the cookies are quite expensive but definitely my favourite place to treat myself! Highly recommend the lotus cookies.
Laiba A — Google review
A nice place, one or two vegan options but they’re not labelled so you have to ask the staff, who are friendly and attentive. The place itself is cute, but somewhere you’d just stop by for a quick break rather than sit down and relax. The vegan cookies were 3.60€ and did taste great, filled with delicious chocolate! I would recommend if you want something sweet, quick, and you’re in the area :)
Rhys — Google review
Visited this place on Recommendation. I bought, Lotus, Oreo, Chocolate Chip cookies. Pros: + Very nice taste, and soft cookies + various varieties + fast and friendly service Cons: - Dine-in is very quite and without music Overall 💯recommended! I agree with their slogan „love at fist bite“ 🫶🏼

Melek is a modest 24-hour bakery that miraculously stocks delectable pastries and breads round the clock. Their baklava, renowned in the city, is a particular favorite, while their sesame jam cookies possess a delightful simplicity accentuated by rich flavors. The option to purchase pastries by weight ensures customers can leave with their desired quantity. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the prices are unbelievably affordable; one can acquire three products for just four euros.
All 3 sweets I bought here were incredible, and very good in price!! The girl at the shop was also very friendly and helpful. Danke schön!!

Walked for over an hour to find a bakery with Mandelhörnchen in particular and found perfect and self-made ones here. Coffee was also decent!

I was looking for a Turkish patisserie and this just fit the bill. Although it was late in the evening, the food was still fresh.

Nestled near the historic Tempelhof former airport and park, ErsteSahne OTIVM is a delightful gem that beckons coffee and ice cream lovers alike. This charming spot offers an impressive selection of coffee, featuring both arabica and a unique blend with robusta. The friendly staff encourages patrons to explore their creative offerings, such as the delectable chocolate with rum.
The best ice cream I ever had was in Rome, and this reminded me so much of that! It was perfect Italian ice cream.
Megan B — Google review
The olive oil ice cream is a fantastic alternative to the usual soy/oat based ice creams around. Great taste. Some varieties may not be super creamy, but still very delicious.
Olli V — Google review
Great coffee, two different ones available arabica and a mix of arabica and robusta. Ice is very good and the guys, very friendly, try different things....Chocolate with Rum for example is very good. The price of the espresso is also very good on the contrary of some crazy one that expect you to pay up to 3 euro....come on, it's a coffee!!!!

Never never go thear .the prices are 3 Tim's from the citys expensive places! The ice cream was not freash ! Thier is no conation between what you see in the Google photos to what is realety 1 of the worst places I visited in berlin
Jonathan G — Google review
Decent homemade icecream and lemonade, long lines, choice is not too impressive. Worth a detour if you're around and would like to cool down on a scorching Berlin summer day.

Worst place you can go to in berlin for anithing to eat or drink. I eat ice cream and it was super expansive and really bad, it malted evan befor it was served. Jest dont go there.

As someone who loves alternative muesli, I’ve tasted varieties from around the world. Australia, US, Brazil, UK, you name it. Undoubtedly, the mueslis of this brand stand head and shoulders above the rest. They are by far the best mueslis I’ve ever had. The strawberry & mango is my favorite. It’s a must-pack in my luggage before any trip. Can’t start my day without it.
Srta V — Google review
I am a picky eater and I have to say they are one of my favourite food products in Germany, they only use top ingredients and they are constantly improving. Great job guys! Thank you for the beautiful delivery, you cheer up my day!

(Translated by Google) All the products I've tried so far have been very tasty. The ingredients in the cookies and bars are perfectly balanced. I have now also eaten the apple-cinnamon muesli and it is my favorite breakfast in the morning. All products use original ingredients and there are no additives or substitutes - I really like that because I can't tolerate a lot of things and I can just enjoy everything! I would happily order here again!

(Translated by Google) Wow, I didn't expect it because so far I've been very happy with the products. The chili in particular was great. But now I've been waiting for an order for 4(!) months and haven't received any response. Maybe there are problems - but those could also be communicated. For me it's cheating 😔. Such a shame. Edit: Order has now been delivered including an apology. However, an aftertaste remains.
