A must! Incredible views. We went up just before sunset and then after sunset, we had a drink and A DELICIOUS AND GENEROUS portion of their fries with truffle mayo and parmesan, so worth it. After that we went back out to experience the views of the lights. It's like 3 experiences in 1. Highly recommend it to locals and tourists.

Absolutely stunning views and great hospitality. The restaurant, which is accessible by a high-speed lift up overlooks the spectacular scenery of Rotterdam. Food was delicious and service was really friendly. Highly recommended for a visit if you're in Rotterdam.

The waiter was pretty rude! One of the waitresses got us a table with a nice view but that was all of the good experience. We waited 20 minutes to order and when the waiter came he told us that table has a reservation and we had to move to another one so we left the restaurant.

We saw Euromast from the outside. I think the entrance fee is too much. We didn't go up the tower. But it gives a different atmosphere to the city. The park right next to it is very well organized. There is a nice walking area.

Was great to br able to see Rotterdam from such a height and there is a small video you watch to show the history of Rotterdam. Would have been better if they had signs to show what you are looking at once you are on the viewing platform. Instead there is a QR code you can scan and then you are supposed to be able to point your camera at things and it will tell you what it was, however it doesn't work well at all. You also have to buy a more expensive ticket to go to the highest point. They also do abseiling down the Euromast which wasn't widely advertised.

Great views of Rotterdam, and the extra pay to go up to the top is worth it, but the down side is the wait to get into the Euro scoop, you wait out side is the wind and rain. But the view is worth it. Wrap up warm if you visiting in the winter

Great space if you need to work. There is plenty of places to sit. Very relaxing atmosphere. They have wide selection of teas like the name suggests plus their brownies are crazy good. They have Asian inspired sandwiches which are very tasty too. We came here already couple of times!

The café has plenty of space, lots of greenery, and serves great coffee, despite being more focused on tea. It's an ideal place for getting work done in a relaxed atmosphere.

If you need a place to set up to work, this is a good spot. The tea selection is rather good, though it’s pretty expensive for the amount of tea leaves you get. Only expect 1-2 brewings from the amount you get. As an avid tea drinker, I am used to getting 3-4 brews out of my leaves. Also, they serve the tea in a glass cup that is hot to touch. Not sure why a place with tea in the name doesn’t serve the tea in a more appropriate vessel. I wouldn’t come back here just for tea.

Finally a huge place to collaborate especially for students and professionals with free WiFi, electricity plugs, great service, a variety of tasty drinks (also giraffe coffee) and tasty dishes. I love the atmosphere and the open space. As a student I would have loved to work here! Prices are average for Rotterdam. This time I had coffee, matcha latte and a sandwich. Don’t forget to try the cakes!

Stumbled across this cafe by chance & now I work from here every chance I get. Well equipped for working professionals, the interior and wide tables help with focus🧘‍♀️ Would be great to see more gluten free options on the menu, but matcha & coffee selections did not disappoint 🫶🏻

We came to this place to try the famous dudok apple pie and what can we say: we love it and we can wait to come back to try other cakes on the menu and also lunch options. The place looks small from the outside but inside its actually very big. We could sit immediately even if we arrive at a busy lunch time. Together with the apple pie we also got fries and a tapbier. Everything was very good and also the waiters that served us were all very nice and professional. While we were sitting we saw giant sandwiches being carried around and they all looked delicious so we will be back soon. I suggest to come here to everyone who is in the city to try a very good and tasty apple pie! Also the prices are lower than what i would expect in rotterdam

Visited in Oct 2025. Lunch for two. The inside of the restaurant is huge. With reservation, we got table on the less crowded side. Apple pie is the main reason we decided to come. We also order tuna melt, avacdo (toast) and lemonade. Apple pie is definitely a must have. Whipped cream required extra charge. The other two items were also good. Service is friendly, Enjoyed a relaxing and tasty meal.

Baker & Moore is a conveniently located spot, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch in the city. I particularly enjoyed their Red Slowjuice, which was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The breakfast platter was another highlight, offering a variety of tasty options that made it a satisfying and enjoyable choice to start the day. My husband tried the Grilled Baker. While it wasn’t entirely to his taste, he still finished the dish, which speaks to its overall quality even if it wasn’t a personal favourite. The atmosphere here is very casual and can be very busy with young families with kids, but it is an easy place to settle in without feeling rushed. I also loved the abundance of greenery in their décor, which gave the space a fresh, welcoming, and vibrant feel. Overall, our visit was a very pleasant experience. Between the convenient location, refreshing drinks, and well-prepared breakfast options, I would happily return on a future trip to the city.

This is a great spot for brunch! The coffee is good and there are alternative milk options. The food is good too but quite expensive. They have a good selection of sandwiches, but only a limited selection of vegan meals. They offer discounts for guests of surrounding hotels, which is greatly appreciated.

Lovely little breakfast place in the city of Rotterdam - ordered the breakfast platter both times I was there which was delicious and was served to me pretty quickly too. You also get a small discount if you stay at the easyHotel further up the road.

The service was quite slow—we had to wait a long time to order and ended up placing our second order at the checkout. I ordered the "Create Yourself" option and requested it as a toastie, but what I received was just a sandwich—ingredients placed on bread, not a proper toastie. The taste was good but nothing special. The coffee was slightly cold when served, and we had to wait again for a long time, possibly due to the busy Saturday morning. The high chairs we sat on were uncomfortable, with no hanger underneath for coats or bags. It’s worth trying, but don’t expect too much.

Staff unfriendly, unrespectful… Many customers came and they served them before us during the first 30min even a table near us was served before us by the senior woman with ignoring us The waiter noticed us and talked to the seniors - but it seems they were happy we wait for that the Chief smiled on us and didn’t react 25min the senior came like a flower and gave us the menu like something normal…. To say « I didn’t forget you » despite she served the table near us 35 min before…. We had lunch here with 3 people and a toddler. It is a bakery stores in center of Rotterdam where you can have both breakfast and lunch. First, the staff. It is friendly staff and you are helped to your table. The food was delicious. We had 2x the homemade humus and 1x the goat cheese sandwich. And to finish, another scone and cheesecake. It was tasteful and not extremely expensive. The interior was a bit simple and mediocre because of that. There are certainly nice things in the business too but if they want to improve some they can start with this. And then the last one, the music. This one was present but in the background. Besides that, it was nothing special. All in all, though, a super toko. It's good food and not expensive.

I've eaten the best cheesecake ever here. Normally, I hate the taste of lemon in things, but the subtle hint of lemon really elevated it. I would love to go back and eat it again. Totally worth the price and hype from my colleague

Hidden garden bliss in the city – TourGuys tip! The Bakkerswinkel on Schiedamse Vest is a real gem. Behind the cozy café you’ll find a beautiful little garden where you can sit and escape the city buzz – perfect for a slow breakfast or lazy lunch. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. Food-wise, everything is fresh and full of flavor, but if you want our recommendation: go for the salmon sandwich with yellow beet salad. It’s light, surprising, and absolutely delicious. The entrance to the cafe was a little hard to find, but once you found it you were in a really idyllic cafe. The view of the skyline is beautiful. The cafe and rooftop terrace are urban chic and very inviting. I had an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup and the “Triple Omega”. My extra requests were accepted in a friendly manner. In general, the service staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was really delicious. There could have been a few small improvements (for example, the egg yolk could have been more runny), but that's complaining on a high level. The prices are reasonable considering the location. The portions are a bit small, but it was perfect for me. I recommend everyone to have brunch there on a city trip to Rotterdam!

Nice food, place is very instagramable, nice decorations, outside terrace is small and warm when sunny. Garden is not accessible. All in all very cute, romantic, and good food. Lift is old and creepy. You have to climb the last stairs from the highest floor reached by the lift to get to the cafe. Small cafe but unique. Difficult to find though

The rooftop garden is beautiful. The food is okay. The fries with parmesan and truffle mayonnaise are very strong in flavour. We asked an extra toast and it was not really good. The service is very bad. When we arrived, it was very disorganised. They asked for my name twice. The reception was not good. We had to get up to order because the waitress did not come to our table. We also had to go to pay the bill. I recommend it for the view, but only if you have a lot of time to wait.

For brunch Juf van Z sits proudly on sunny side of Kralingen shopping street. The menu is extensive and morphs from morning pancakes to evening Sangria. Food is fresh and superbly presented ...something for everyone, even kids! Interior eating is split over three levels, and has a dedicated kid's play den with family toilet downstairs.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively, though a bit noisy with kids playing inside. If you don’t mind a bustling, family-friendly vibe, it’s a nice spot to start your day.

We stepped in for a quick breakfast beverage (Tea and Chai Latte) and a croissant and we were both very very happy. Especially the croissants are delicious. 🥐

Nice little café with a great menu of drinks, food and cakes. We tried the vegetarian burger today and it was delicious. The staff, while helpful and friendly at service, seamed a little overwhelmed by the lunch crowd. Edit: the real value of this place can only be discovered if visited with kids. A very nice place for families with small children. There is a big playground downstairs with lots of toys. This is also where the toilet is located. It can be difficult to find since there is no sign. There is no different between men and female toilets, but they have a big toiletroom available for families (children’s toilet and big toilet for parent). Upstairs they also have small toys available in the cabinet. So that the kids can be occupied all times. So it can be overbearing with all the loud noises around, especially if you are having a conversation and can’t hear each other well. But the menu is very good. There is a lot of options for small children, all kinds of kidsmenus and children’s drinks, like fruit water, babyccino, etc. Love their many choices. For the grown ups there are also lots of options, like healthy salads, bananas pancakes with different toppings to choose from, all kinds of avocado toast, brunch platter for at least 2 person and many more choices to choose from. Even theirs drinks menu is insane, too many yummie options to choose from. They even have Tony Chocolonely Milk (hot or cold available) and many warms drinks and cold drinks on their menu. A lot of their dishes are quite suitable to share with children as well, like the breakfast or the scones, etc. Must say their toast tastes great, but it was quite small for 1 person and I am a small eater. So ordering more dishes per person is wise and fortunately they have many options. The scones were a bit different than the scones I am used to in United Kingdom, less crumbling, less favourable, more like a neutral hard bread, but you can still taste the freshness of it so it was good with some clotted cream and strawberry jam on top. I am still happy they have scones with clotted cream in their menu since they are one of the very few in Rotterdam. Would definitely come back to this place to try out their other dishes. Maybe sitting outside when it is sunny. If we are eating out with family or friends with small children, this is definitely my number one place to go. Really enjoyed their friendly service, nicely vibe in the restaurant and the many delicious food.

We visited for my husband’s birthday with a reservation for four, which included a welcome glass of champagne. The booking process was very smooth—quick replies and easy confirmation, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the experience at the restaurant itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. When we arrived, the staff member who welcomed us didn’t seem to check the reservation properly, so we were seated without being offered the welcome champagne. While waiting, two different staff members came to ask for drink orders, creating confusion. I eventually spoke with a more experienced team member who acknowledged the communication error and handled it professionally. Our assigned waiter after that point was excellent—friendly, attentive, and communicative. The gentleman who seemed to be supervising also handled the situation well and showed genuine care. The food, however, was a letdown. My tuna steak came too raw, despite requesting it medium, and my daughter didn’t finish her chicken. While the lentils and starters were enjoyable, the main courses didn’t stand out. On top of that, the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm, which added to our decision to skip dessert and leave earlier than planned. We had requested a candle in advance to celebrate the occasion, and while we didn’t stay for dessert, the team kindly brought it out anyway—a thoughtful gesture we appreciated. Overall, while the restaurant positions itself as a laid-back brasserie, I believe this iconic location deserves consistently high-quality service and well-prepared, simple dishes that leave guests saying, “We have to come back.”

Let’s start with the negative part: at check-in there were 2 young ladies with a bit of an attitude. Not super unfriendly but bitchy in the way of giving information and answering our questions. Something you should not expect in an hotel like this. The second was that when we received a phone call if we would like to upgrade with extra payment, the asked for the purpose of our stay, which was are honeymoon. It was noticed but they have nothing done with that. Not that they have too, but giving your costumers a little bit extra attention, would be appreciated. Rooms are nice, bed pillows are horrible for me. Everything is clean except for the texture like feeling on the front of the toilet. Porcelain should be smooth not rough. View is amazing if you book for the river Maas view. The historical feeling in this building is pleasant. Breakfast is expensive but good, don’t forget to ask for an omelette in the kitchen. It was the best one I ever ate. Parking is expensive with 35 euros per day. So all good but enough points for improvement.

This was a most disappointing experience after we had been looking forward to staying at Hotel New York for a number of years. The hotel feels as if it has got a crisis of identity and whilst it is a very interesting historic building, I do not feel that it has been well developed into a 4 star hotel. The prime focus of the hotel appears to be the bar/restaurant which is in the prime position at the front of the hotel and is clearly very busy. This makes it very noisy and not a good place for a relaxing birthday dinner. You approach the hotel from the rear and the entrance is tucked away in a corner. It is not well signposted, has weeds growing around rht paving and has a number of steps up to the reception making it very difficult for anyone with impaired mobility. I could not find any mention of this problem on the hotel web site and it was never mentioned when I asked about access before I booked. There was no porter service and only one luggage trolly which was of limited use because of the number of stairs. Many rooms are only accessible by stairs and there were 2 steps in our room. There is no parking at the hotel but there is an excellent private parking garage adjacent to it but this needs to be booked and cost us 54 Euro for 2 days. The room was not to 4 star standards and lacked a number of things like fridge, USB charging points and easily accessible power sockets. The bed side light switches were also a long stretch from the bed. The bathroom had been modernised and was very good, it is a shame that the room had also not been given a suitable makeover. Food in the restaurant at dinner was very good but the overall dining experience was spoilt by the noise levels and hussle and bussle, it was more like a city centre bar than a 4 star restaurant. The breakfast buffet was nothing special and the staff at breakfast clearly did not want to be there. We ended up cutting short our stay because the difficulty of accessing the hotel was causing my Wife distress as she has impaired mobility. The hotel has a fabulous location and a great history but I do not feel that it has been developed very well. The developers should take a look at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool to see what a great job can be done of developing such an old historic building. If we had not been to the Delft WestCord hotel and had an excellent stay, I would be avoiding this company in future.

Great hotel; slightly dated but that’s part of the charm. Amazing building. Good breakfast. Only reason it isn’t a 5 stars from me is because we tried to have a drink in the bar (not the exclusive, need to book downstairs one just the normal main bar) but there was a huge queue (despite several empty tables) and we were told that despite being hotel guests we had to wait alongside the non guests. Wouldn’t expect to have to do that. Otherwise great.

Hotel New York offers stylish design and spacious rooms, each decorated with carefully chosen, original pieces that give the place a unique charm. My room view was very lovely, looking to Erasmus bridge. I stayed in April when the weather was wet and cold, and while the atmosphere was wonderful, the room heating was unfortunately not sufficient, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Keep in mind to bring warm clothes to wear in the room :)

If you are in Rotterdam and taking a Holland America cruise, you should 100% book at this hotel for a stay before your cruise. The hotel is really cool. Historic but new feeling. They have done a wonderful job turning this "office building" into a collection of great rooms with great views. We arrived the day before our cruise and checked-in easily. Walked down to the Foodhallen and had a relaxed meal and some drinks. The morning of our cruise, we enjoyed a great breakfast at the hotel and then simply walked 2 minutes down to the ship. CRAZY EASY!!! Love this hotel!!

Disappointing experience from the start. There was no smile, no sense of welcome at the entrance. While we were waiting, the staff member who asked about reservations didn’t even look at us, instead speaking past us to people behind. A simple acknowledgment of the first couple in line would have been the respectful approach. Another colleague later handled things more appropriately, but by then the poor first impression was set. The bar wasn’t crowded, yet we were left waiting unnecessarily, only to be told in the end to “just choose a place at the bar.” If that was the plan all along, there was no need to waste our time. The bartender was the one positive note—friendly and attentive—but overall the service at the entrance left a very negative impression. When staff give the impression they don’t want to be there, it makes guests feel unwelcome. Not worth the hype. Won’t be returning.

Love the organic meals and drinks they serve. Super cosy atmosphere with the sun going through in mornings. And the best is that is single-use plastic free!

Nice loose tea and cake, but didn't like the ambiance inside so much. It's one big open room with rather bad acoustics so it gets pretty loud when the place is full - and it was when I was there. There was a large group of ladies having High Tea when I visited and I do have to say that looked really good. They also seemed to be having a great time, so perhaps this is more of a place to go to in group and not to quietly enjoy a cup of tea.

Super nice high tea. Very nice staff that always brought new cold water and tea water. Taking not eaten food with you in the end is no problem at all. Unfortunately they only had a table in a super sunny spot for us, although we reserved a table beforehand and had a baby with us... Some of us did not feel so well afterwards because of all the sun and it was not the best for the food 😔

My son lives in Rotterdam and I live in England. I wanted a tasty surprise delivered to my son for his 30th Birthday. I found this lovely bakery online and their customer service and quick response to questions was second to none. They were amazing. My son received the Birthday Cake box selection and was over the moon. He said they were exceptional. I would definitely use this bakery again and I look forward to sampling some of their delights when I next visit my son.

I ordered a rainbow unicorn cake for my sister’s birthday, and we were absolutely thrilled with it! The design was very cute, and the vibrant, colorful layers were just as impressive. It tasted incredibly fresh and had the perfect level of sweetness. This isn’t my first time ordering from here, and it definitely won’t be the last!

came here on a monday night for dinner. Arrived earlier than the RSVP. They were very accommodating to us two. Let’s start off with the food. Ordered 3 dimsum platters. The soy bean rolls pretty good. Good crunch and flavor. Pork Bao Buns (2) really good Soup Dumplings: they could have had more soup but it was yummy We decided to split for the main course half duck with no bones & noodles. After almost an hour waiting we finally got our main dishes. The main course was okay. The reason why I gave it a star was because the noodles and duck tasted simple as if i went to a normal chinese takeout. The duck was so expensive for what it was in my opinion which was ridiculous. RDAM alone is pricey however i dont believe the duck was reasonably price. Apart from the food, the service was also okay. The girl was sweet however she was not very attentive to our table. we had to remind her a few times to pick up our empty bottles and plates since the table was very tiny. On top of that when asked for tap water I was denied which I then had to buy a water bottle. Overall, place was good for dimsum & that’s about it. Dont think I’d be back to be honest.

I really enjoy the traditional Chinese food at this place. They make authentic Chinese dishes, and my favourite is the Beef Ho Fan. It's amazing that I can still experience the original flavours even after moving to the UK. I hope to visit again in the future and try more traditional dishes.

One of the best places to have dinner in Rotterdam. The food is extremely delicious, I always over eat because its very delicious. People are super kind. My favorite is sesame ice cream with cookies and duck pancakes. Duck bao also great

The best and most unique radish cake I’ve had so far. The Aubergine cake and drunken chicken wings had a nice subtle taste, preserving the original flavor of the food. The seasonal veggie stir fry was a bit underwhelming though, despite the good taste.

A GEM in the centre of Rotterdam near Blaak. Not a hidden gem as loyal customers know where it is and no doubt new customers would have heard of this amazing restaurant. The décor, the ambience, the super friendly staff and of course the most amazing food. I had Yellow Typhoon cocktail, roast duck bao, xiao long bao and Shanghai wor tip (pan-fried dumplings). All absolutely perfect and can't wait to return soon

Loved the decor, loved the menu and especially the beautiful desserts! The duck was unfortunately overcooked, very crispy skin but the meat already turned fully grey but everything else was very tasty. Will come back again to try more of the menu.

The service is good and you can order many traditional Chinese dishes. The food quality is excellent and very tasty. In my opinion one of the best Peking duck in the region. The interior is also very nice.

I was visiting Rotterdam ahoy for a convention, this was a lovely place to come and get food. I had an omelette, it tasted delicious, the price was reasonable and the staff were super helpful. The woman taking our order found us an English menu so we did have to struggle with translating it. I would highly recommend

Nice place for a quick lunch or a coffee/tea. Ambiance of this place is lovely. Kind of New York café style. The hostess deserves all the points, service with a smile and hospitable. Food was fine. We had chips and a omelette sandwich, nothing special.

Enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. However upon our first arrival our cab dropped us off next to the ship and it wasn't clear which of the three ways to board was the correct entrance, and eventually we figured out the entrance was the stairway tower with the broken elevator. There was also a noticeable difference between the breakfast buffet on the weekend and the weekday breakfast buffet. But we loved the retro vibe and the vintage luggage and ship displays. Plus walking the nearby small neighborhood which has a couple good restaurants.

A beautifully maintained ocean liner from a bygone era. Now it’s a hotel, museum and restaurant. It’s free to enter and roam around the public areas or visit the cafe and restaurant. However the all area tour requires the purchase of a ticket. There is a small cinema which is free to enter and showing a short video of what travel would have been like on this ship. From the top deck you also have a good view of Rotterdam and the harbour. I recommend to combine this visit with the FENIX migration museum which is in walking distance and gives a broader overview and shows videos of shipping of that era including film material of the SS Rotterdam.

Had drinks and appetizers in the Captain's lounge of the former Holland America flagship. They were very and the G&T was well presented, decorated with mint leaves and strawberries. While undoubtedly a great ship in the 1950s, I'm glad we are sailing on the new one tomorrow.

We had an excellent stay on the SS Rotterdam. We stayed for two nights in a deluxe room, including breakfast, and had dinner in the Lido restaurant on one of the evenings. This was our sixth stay on the ship. During previous visits, we stayed in a family room, which I don’t recommend due to ventilation system noise. The watertaxi platform is very convenient, allowing easy access to various locations in Rotterdam. It’s also a very pleasant walk from the ship to Hotel New York, the Erasmus Bridge, the Cube Houses and the Markthal. The staff were friendly and we had a wonderful time.

Honestly just a fantastic place to stay! Really felt like a unique one of a kind hotel. We were there for a week in July and my children talk about it every day. The little paddling pool for children on the top deck is fantastic!! The rooms are spacious and charming. But our favourite part was probably the water taxis which pick you up right outside and zip you across to the centre in minutes. Absolutely blew us away and we’d love to visit again one day!

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The location is excellent with water taxi service right onto the ship. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and restaurant. The Lido open air deck is fantastic! Our room was a suite which was very nice. Finally, free shuttle to the cruise terminal (at least when cruising on Holland America, not sure about other cruise lines).

Water pressure is too low for reasonable shower. Size of the rooms is very good. My biggest concern with this property is that I was locked into the emergency escape stairwell with no way either back into the rest of the ship nor out of it. This is dangerous and unacceptable and the front desk did not recognize this problem.

The menu looked nice, and some day we will come back. But the hostess today was not polite, so we didn’t even wanted to dine there. She was not welcoming and in bad mood or whatever. We appreciate good hospitality as we also are part of this industry. Hope to dine here another time!

We had a great time during a Saturday lunch in 2 families of 3 at Lido. The atmosphere is great both at the restaurant and the entire SS Rotterdam. They've done something special here indeed. The service is friendly and efficient. The food - at least at lunch - it's not super elaborated, but they deliver some good options that please all tastes. Definitely a must go in Rotterdam.

I had a reservation for 18 people (14 adults and 4 children) confirmed by phone for August 9th at 20:00. Upon checking, I was told the reservation was never recorded. No solution offered, no apology. I’ve stayed on the SS Rotterdam, taken the tour, and dined here multiple times, but this experience shows a serious lack of professionalism. Very disappointing.

Today I had lunch and dinner at the Lido restaurant on the ss Rotterdam. It looks amazing and both lunch and dinner were perfect. The decoration of the restaurant is very stylish. You feel comfortable instantly. The view is just stunning. Our waiters were very friendly and personable. Food was delivered quickly after we ordered and it all was very tasty. Thanks for the great experience!

We had a birthday celebration/romantic dinner at this iconic place and it was an impeccable experience. The staff was very courteous, food was amazing and the whole ambience of dining on the boat of such a historical significance is truly a lifetime experience. Prices were surprisingly affordable. We can't wait to go back and celebrate more occasions here.

The chef’s menu was delicious, and the steak as well, however the truffle fries were a bit too salty, so next time less salt would be better! Overall the view you get after you finished eating, that makes it worth it! Def will come back!

Amazing and atmospherical place! I was not disappointed with their seasonal dish, which is the spaghetti with oxtail. It was delicious and surprising with every bite! Not to mention their wonderful service :) I will definitely come back to try other things!

Here, in the heart of Kralingen, the weary traveller might stumble upon this cute little place callled BOMM (Best of MoMents). Sit down, have a drink and order a nice meal. Be it lunch. Be it dinner. Be it a three-course meal or just a main dish. Your mouth will love you for it and if your stomach had had tastebuds, it would have loved you, too. The two owners (brother and sister) are lovely people. Friendly, chatty and cheerful. During one of my visits - as I come here quite often - they promised me that one day ... one blessed day ... they will come to my boxingbag class and write a review on Google maps about it. We had a nice lunch at Bom. The tarte tatin was very delicious. The portobello jackfruit burger was nice, although at 19€ overpriced. Especially cause the jackfruit part was very minimal.

Came here for a quick lunch again. The freshness and quality of everything served is immaculate and I can easily recommend this place. The salad tasted amazing, the avocados felt fresh and creamy, the nuts sprinkled all over added a serene crunch and the leafy greens were tasty. The bread was fresh had an interesting taste and alongside the butter, felt delicious to consume. The juice was served fast and was very refreshing. I love this place and will visit again soon. Lovely place, but the food could be improved. The staff were kind and friendly, and the atmosphere was really nice both inside and outside. The coffee was fine, though there were a few coffee grounds at the bottom of the mug. The boiled egg was fully cooked but served in a cup meant for soft-boiled eggs, which felt a bit odd. The “farmer’s ham and gouda cheese” sandwich looked great, but the ham and cheese slices were very thin, and the flavor was quite plain — a bit disappointing for €13. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot with great service, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations.

'Flemish style' may sound gimmicky but the fact is that they have some of the best tasting bread and pastries in the city. Everything is fresh and delicious, the café and terrace lovely and immaculately clean, and the service super friendly and fast and the young crew always helpful and cheerful. Highly recommended!

Great bread but rly rly expensive items on the menu. A sandwich for almost 13e which is in the end only one slice of sourdough bread with toppings. Tasty smoothie but it was mostly ice in the glass, barely no juice. Overpriced, definitely.

Anne&Max really surprised me and my kid. as Limburgers we’re not used to this kind of breakfast setup. Fresh croissant, a little jar of granola, smoothie, scrambled eggs with bacon and spinach… it felt like a treat instead of the usual quick bite. The coffee was great, and everything looked clean and fresh. Best part for me: I could actually choose a juice without lemon, orange, or other sour fruits. With my allergy that never happens, so it was a first. My kid loved the baked potato chips with breakfast ! simple, but it made her day. Service was quick and warm. The place opens early and already had people enjoying breakfast when we arrived. Inside you can pick what you like best: lounge seats, bistro tables, or proper diner chairs.

Went here for a high tea with 3 people with a reservation. First when we walked in no one came to greet us and show us our table. It was quite busy, but we ended up asking them about it and they cleaned up a table for us. After this little rough start, it took about 40 minutes before the food arrived. We did get the tea already and could start drinking. When finally the food came, we noticed that the reason it took longer was because it was all freshly made. This was very nice and the food was all very nice, as was the tea. Overall do really like the place and the food. I definitely recommend going here for a high tea.

Went there with my partner and baby for some coffee and cake. Waited a while for service before going to the counter and ordering from there. We ordered filtered coffee, it tasted as if it had been standing for quite a while, was barely warm anymore. Quite disappointing. The caramel-chocolate cake was a disappointment; very dry as if it had been made days ago. Bananabread did not taste much better.

Before it was called Polaberry and now it is called By Mi & Es. Even through same decor and same interior design, the menu had definitely changed. Especially the different choices of the strawberries dipped in different coating like chocolate, strawberry sweet coating etc have significant lessen. Nowadays you can only choose strawberry in white chocolate or dark chocolate or milk chocolate. And a small choice of macarons and one kind of cake pops. The strawberries still tasted good, but less pretty and less choices than before. The french toast was different than what we are used to, very sweet and lack of eggs, you can only taste cinnamon, but they do give you plenty of fruits. Besides sweets we also ordered savoury dishes. Maybe because the place is relatively new so the staff made two mistakes with the order. Perhaps writing the order down instead of memorising would be better?

We waited a long time for our drinks, to place our order, and for the food to arrive. Overall, the nice setting didn’t make up for the slow service and overpriced food.

If you are vegetarian then this is not the place for you. I went for hi tea with my girls and was very disappointed with the food they served me. I mentioned in booking regarding my diet preferences that i am vegetarian and do not eat aubergine/zucchini, still I was served aubergine sandwich. When i pointed out, they changed it for avocado sandwich which was not good at all. They said chef is making burrata sandwich for me but later came with avocado. So in savory only option for me was avocado sandwich and nothing else. I would not recommend for vegetarians. But my friends enjoyed fish

Zalmhuis in Rotterdam is a stunning riverside restaurant with delicious, well-prepared food that usually arrives quickly. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeus. Perfect place for little party or nice pictures on instagram. Food was nicely prepared and pretty delicious. Minus point: I couldn't take leftovers home, it was hard to finish a large portion and I don't like wasting food also I had the impression that the staff didn't really listen to us.

It has enough free parking places. The entry of the restaurant is luxury and decorated with Christmas tree and lights. Restaurant is located on the first floor. The view is fabulous but there were mosquitos flying around our heads that is very irritating. We chosen the 'chif manual' with 3 courses which even the waiter doesn't konw the contents. The taste of the dishes are special and yummy but the amount is not enough for us. The main course has no side dishes, not even fries or salad, it is a surprise! We spent 120 Euro and left with hungry stomach.

Quite charming, old restaurant in an old neighbourhood of Rotterdam. The food is fine, but nothing special. We used social deal for quite a nice discount, which makes the price feel more accurate for what you get. Also i feel like the dressing for the salad and sauces are not homemade, they're quite bland and thin.

Very nice place for a fast get together with friends.... Friendly personal. Seating outside is ideal for the summer days..... Enjoyed a second high tea here. It was nice. Unfortunately our request for a vegan selection of choices wasn't fully met, so they couldn't fully enjoy the experience. Good conversation made up for the latter. Service was'nt the same as going the first time. And I've been 3 times now. 2nd time was earlier this year (2022) too celebrate my girl friends graduation. Food was delicious. I hope you guys see this review and work on that.

We had to wait 20 minutes for 1 cappuccino and one Bitter Lemon. The cappuccino was basically water with barely any coffee in it. Definitely don't recommend to anyone, though the view is beautiful.

Great terrace overlooking a beautiful historical part of the city. However, wouldn’t stop for more then a drink. We order a borrelsnack platter and they arrived they were miniature size, but at a normal size price. So that was disappointing. The service was also non existent, they literally never came back. After we finished another group behind us got a tea platter or something which wasn’t on the menu we received at all, so not sure how that works.

Had our xmas lunch here. Good food ruined by regular loud smashing of glass bottles behind the bar. The large wall-to-wall windows have no blinds to keep out the harsh afternoon sun. People on the wrong half of the table were pretty much blinded. Staff were courteous though.

Good food. However be careful with the beer. The regular draft they have tastes like water. Horrible. Just take the Texels they also have. For the rest it's a nice place fora drink and a quick lunch or dinner.

Beautiful restaurant & with a great view by the lake. At first it was weird that there were no prices on the drink menu, more exactly for the beer menu. When I asked for the price of my beer the waitress told me a completely different price (with a 2€ difference), something I didn't really understand. Another thing was when we ordered the fries, she told us they can only make the loaded fries. No problem until we see that those "loaded fries" are not on the menu as well and of course, the price is higher than it was for the normal fries. Besides these little things that felt like a scam, really, the view is really nice, it was sunny and beautiful. A lot of stairs to climb to reach the toilet which for the "premium" experience they pretend they are offering..the bathrooms are pretty dirty :)

Overall the food (the “borrel hapjes”) is a 5-6/10. We had the: - Yakatorie; these were so bad. The taste, the texture. A big NO. The lady told us that, that’s how it comes from there supplier. So I guess change the supplier? —> 2/10 - Loaded fries; they served this almost cold to us, very disappointing. —> 6/10 - Veg bitterballen; was okey. —> 6/10 The view in a sunny dat is beautiful. Would only come for the view. We paid €45 (incl. Drinks). Which was quite expensive for the quality we got.

Nice café with a spacious outdoor area, beautifully located by the lake. They have different types of seating outside, but my favorite is the ones right by the water — offering an amazing view at sunset. Definitely recommended.

We made a reservation in advance so were seated in the 'serre' (closed veranda), which was very pleasant - out of the wind but with a view of the lake. They also had plenty of outdoor seating but that was too chilly for us. Food was good and service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Would come here again.

De Tuin offers a great view of the lake, but not a lot more. Drinks are overpriced. Chai latte super sweet, not spicey. Kitchen opens at 11am for breakfast on Saturdays. Loads of wait staff animately chatting together, yet we still had to chase the bill. The highlight would be visiting the windmills next door!

Amazing location, expensive food, not very hospitable. Especially if you compare the quality of your meal to the costs. My Salmon tasted of nothing, shrimps gave my wife food poisoning. Location is great though, the staff could work on their people skills. It feels like they are all students working for a quick buck who don't care about hospitality.

A day in Rotterdam, nice stop with wine and a Caesar salate. Wine was delicious white Pino Grigio, but salate was average, too expensive for what was served, mostly 2 halfs of little gem including stump with a bit of cheese and some avocado paste. Would not order this again. But yeah, it's a wine bar and that was the goal in the late afternoon after a nice long walk.

We've experienced here the worst service from Rotterdam. Bord staff and waitresses, long waiting time for the food or extra requests, zeo intrest for the customer. The quality of the food was good but the portion are very small for what you pay. The glass of wine that we ordered was not fresh.

A cozy wine bar in the heart of Rotterdam (on White Street), offering a decent selection of wines. While the choice of wines by the glass is somewhat limited, the range of available bottles is quite satisfactory.

Cozy and sophisticated environment. Wide selection of wines of great quality. I have never tried the Chenin Blanc and the waiter (he looked like he was the manager/owner) gave me to try and I was absolutely delighted with it. I am a fan of Spanish and Italian wines, but I gave a try to this 2017 Rijks ‘Touch of Oak’ from South Africa. The food is excellent, however very small portions. The quality of the charcuterie and cheese is excellent, very tasty. The risotto very simple only with Parmesan, they could add some fungi. The lemon tart made me blown away, delicious. I missed that the waitresses were more professional aligned to the high quality of the place.

3,5 stars Sunday afternoon. Stopped by at 3 o’clock for coffee with a sweet treat. I wanted to try one of their artisanal tarts. Sadly, they had sold most of their tarts already. They only had 3 different tarts left. I ordered the mango tart and lemon tart w/ merengue. Both tarts were tasty. Not too sweet. The crust was hard; difficult to eat with a fork. I also tried one of their sourdough breads. It was tasty. I sampled two of their nut butters. They were also very tasty. I would definitely buy some of their tarts and breads again. The tarts are approx. 6 euros and the breads range from 5 to 9 euros. A bit expensive. If you want to try a specific tart or bread, I would recommend stopping by early.

We popped into Vlaamsch Broodhuys on the Meent and couldn’t resist their truffle egg salad sandwich—pure comfort with just the right truffle twist. In general, nice place. Lovely terrace, super friendly staff, amazing central location, pretty nice choice of food. The sandwiches, even though they were tasty, were not the best I have ever tried. I lacked a bit of greens, extra flavour and filling. There is a lot of bread, but not that much filling on top due to which they taste a bit dry.

The espresso and cappuccino are great, with high quality beans and milk. We tried eggs Benedict and the toast avocado, which were ok. They also added bacon to my toast when requested, quite a good supplement :) The place was a bit crowded on the Sunday morning we visited.

Food was enjoyable and the ordering system was easy. The prices were a bit on the high side for some of the dishes, price/quality wasn’t really balanced.

Very nice breakfast place with a wide variety of options. We enjoyed delicious pancakes and the bowls, it's a bit of a pity that out of the drinks menu some things were not available and surely some items on the menu are quite overpriced.

And they also have seasonal (monthly!!!!) menu where they serve different drinks depending on a month. A lot of syrups, interesting coffee and sweets combination. Amazing serving - they bring you water and a little biscuit to your drink. From now on my favorite café here!!!! Will be visiting a LOT, thank you so much!!

A quiet, cozy little café behind the church. The first thing you see when you enter is the big shelves full of Monin syrups, I think there are nearly all the flavors possible. I tried the cappuccino and the banana bread, which were both tasty. There are also lunch items on the menu and more drinks, all reasonably priced. The owner was friendly and welcoming. I recently visited CHCO and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two Camp Fire Mochas and one Winter Wonder Mocha from the coffee specials. The Winter Wonder Mocha was nothing more than plain white milk with a caramel chocolate cube—it didn’t even taste like mocha. There was no coffee in it, but it was in coffee specials and called mocha. It was awful to pay €7.50 for something so bland and not what was advertised. The Camp Fire Mocha was okay, but still overpriced for what we got. To make matters worse, the person making the coffee seemed unfamiliar with the menu and provided poor service. A nice variety of cakes, pralines and a huge variety of hot chocolate drinks. We went for the sweet cake and some regular drinks and really enjoyed it. The service was great and you could feel that the customer comes first 👌👌👌 The prices are moderate for the location.

I went there to work for a few hours and I had a very nice experience. The place is lovely, the stuff it's amazing and the carrot cake was delicious. The only inconvenient is that a lady didn't know that when cats are sleeping and resting it's because they need that and they should be left alone. I've seen her bothering a cat while sleeping in a hammock by pushing the hammock from the bottom with the cat sleeping inside. Another customers called her attention and said that the cats don't like what she's doing and to leave the cat sleep Which I definitely appreciated. Anyway, a very recommended place with lovely cats and amazing stuff ❤️

The place is pleasant and kitties are adorable. They are all lovebugs and behave very well. Staff is lovely. The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is that it's a bit stuffy, since it doesn't seem to have any windows. Also, maybe it's a good idea to ban kids under 5 since they really don't know how to treat an animal.

I absolutely loved this cafe! I went with my boyfriend and two friends of mine and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing and there’s so much choice on the menu that it’s hard to choose. The inside is also very cute with enough spaces for the cats to rest and to play. The cats can even sleep on your table!! Which happened to us it was absolutely adorable. It’s not expensive at all for the time you get to spend with the cutest cats ever. They’re very social but also like their space. I definitely recommend! We traveled 45 minutes for this and it was so worth it 🙈

And, of course, her Lemonade, Luna‘s Lemonade, was my favorite dish on the menu! The owners and staff radiate a sense of calm and tranquility, despite the high level of responsibility they have in caring for the guests, kittens, and food preparation. Overall, I highly recommend this cat café to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. But remember - these little Furballs live there, it‘s their home, please enter it with respect and softness.

I foolishly went here seeing all the great reviews and ordered pancakes... I don't think I've ever tasted something sweeter than that in my life. Sugar in the dough, sugar in the clotted cream, extremely sugary jam (that looked more like artificial syrup), honey... even the "fresh" fruit was incredibly sweet. A very large shopping centre. There is both indoor and outdoor parking. There is an elevator and escalator that you can easily find outside. There was a lot of maintenance work inside when we went. Frankly, it was bad in terms of appearance. But since our purpose was Shopping, we didn't get stuck with it. There are lots of eating areas inside. After visiting the interior, it was very nice to visit the outside shopping places and to be side by side. But it would be very good to have good ventilation for the food smells coming from some Indian restaurants.

As a German tourist on vacation in Den Haag I visited the shopping center mainly to eat at Cinnabon. Therefore I would always go again. Since I'm not much into shopping in general I wouldn't come back if it weren't for the food. Although the shopping center looks great, offers a lot of different shops and is well worth organized considering the whole covid-19 situation. Nevertheless it doesn't offer much more than any other shopping mall. So if you are close by, have a look. I wouldn't go there only to visit the mall. Parking situation: there are a lot parking spots. At the furniture area I payed 2€/h, close by there are cheaper spots available.

The idea of the spinning restaurant is awesome. Everyone has there table facing the window and with it turning constantly you dont have to worrie about missing the view. However the food needs improvement. The scones in the high-tea menu was not as great as it should be.

Rise & Shine: The leafs were old and yellowish, the avocado was completely black (not fresh at all) and the bread seemed old. Numerous times asked for a refill but gave up on the end. If the waitresses had more attention for our table and taken the coffee from the bill it would be a four stars. Next time maybe breakfast somewhere else.
