This restaurant offers a very unusual and inspiring take on Vietnamese cuisine. Everything we tried was both creative and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is made even better by its location right next to the beautiful St. Laurence church, where you can hear the bells ring occasionally. It's also perfectly situated next to the big market of Rotterdam.
Absolutely fantastic Pho at Little V! The moment the steaming bowl arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The broth was the true star—deep, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, clearly simmered for hours. The beef was tender and sliced paper-thin, cooking delicately in the hot soup. The rice noodles had the ideal texture, and the fresh herbs added a vibrant crunch.
Coupled with the modern, cozy ambiance and friendly service, it was a flawless experience. This is hands-down some of the best and most authentic Vietnamese food I've had in Rotterdam.
We went to this Vietnamese restaurant this night for dinner before we go to the restaurant we always looking for good reviews and how many people rate. So we are really surprised that the food is not acceptable and really bad taste. The atmosphere is good and the service is quick. We are really disappointed about the food especially I come from Asia and know what is good food and taste. After our visit, my husband and daughter go mc Donald before we go hotel. We didn’t eat properly in the restaurant, wast of money.
Little V is always a go to when family comes over. While the price point is a bit high, the food is definitely worth it! The interior is gorgeous and very immersive. If you like sweet drinks, I’d also highly recommend their cocktail Miss Saigon. ☀️
Super cute deco inside. Very good Vietnamese food for dutch standards! The only thing they could improve on is the nuoc mam. It tastes more like sugar than anything else.
Surprisingly, the food is very good here. As Vietnamese, I definitely will come back whenever I visit the town. Bo luc lac is very tender. I also enjoyed my vermicelli with pork.

Stopped by on a Friday evening. Ordered the spring rolls to go. 1 serving = 2 spring rolls. Tried the Surf & Turf spring rolls. They were tasty. You can pick a dipping sauce. The options were fish sauce or hoisin sauce. No peanut sauce. I thought each spring roll would have prawn (surf) and beef (turf). However, you receive 1 spring roll with prawn and 1 spring roll with beef.
A super great banh mi, the bread was nice and crispy and the filling was rich in flavor. The chilli gave some heat but added a lot. The meat could have been more flavored in my opinion but was still tasty.
Came here on a Saturday Morning after strolling through the Farmers Market. We have seen this place before and always wanted to try it but it is only open until 6 pm so it is tough to go on a work day. It was quite busy when we got there, our idea was not so original. On the menu there were a lot of good options but we got the Speciaal and the Lemongrass Pork. The meat was incredibly flavorful as well as the pickled carrots/daikon. The whole sandwich was really good. Then only downside was the size of the sandwich, we didn't feel it was in proportion to the price but nowadays with inflation, I don't think anything is. Overall I would recommend this place.
A great lunch with a good price. Nice selection too that isn’t overwhelming. I had the pork special baguette with spring rolls and an vietnamese iced coffee. Everything delicious.

As a Canadian visitor who loves Vietnamese cuisine, I really enjoyed my lunch here. Great food, great service. Highly recommend their lemongrass iced tea made with their house-made lemongrass syrup & green tea!
To be honest, I expected more. The bread was nice and crispy, but overall the bánh mì lacked flavor (the chili oil added a bit) and just didn’t do it for me. I have had better for cheaper at other places. The service was okay, not necessarily friendly.

Cute small shop and very friendly owners. They were super happy and cheerful. This time I only ordered the BBQ pork banh mi, but next time I will try their pho. It was delicious, but missing some more coriander and sour veggies. The pork was a good taste!
With over a 1.000 reviews with a 4.4 average we thought this place is a hidden gem. But what a disappointment... The pho is was bland and very little meat. The broth has nothing to do with a good pho... I've had amazing pho in Vietnam and know how to cook it myself... And honestly I'll do this a lot better. The bun was also very much below average, it was bland and virtually only noodles and meat, the sauce with the bun had virtually no flavor.
The bahmi honestly the bread was nice, meat filling OK, but where are the pickles, where is the liver pate and where is the mayonnaise? Also no spice whatsoever in it.
The home made lemonade was just sweet, no sourness l.

To be fair the food was really not that good to visit again. Pho was not so strong in flavor, fresh herbs, meat were homemade. The yellow rice with stir fry vegetable and chicken was bad. A lot of sauce for the stir fry and meat was from the microwave.
The food is amazing and super affordable! I tried all four Pho soups they have and they are all good. The personel is very kind and the service quick and friendly. Love this place, I can recommend it!

If you’re in Rotterdam, you’ll find plenty of Vietnamese restaurants, but Pho Hanoi truly stands out! Their pho bo soup, broodje, shrimp tempura and you can not miss for entry Their Dim sum.The service is friendly and fast, and while the place has a simple vibe, it’s perfect for a relaxed meal.
There are two entrances, and you can sit outside on both sides, ideal for summer days! Prices are very reasonable and affordable. Honestly, this might just become my favorite go-to spot in the city!

I've visited them a few times and it's consistently tasty food with swift service each time. The highlight for me was the sugar cane juice which was fresh tasty and rejuvenating. The ordering process is fast, the waiting times are low, drinks arrive minutes after ordering, food not too long after and everything is decent to good in terms of flavor. The prices are average with regards to the market and I'd definitely recommend this place for a decent food experience. The seating is comfortable and the location is easily accessible via public transport. Good stuff, keep it up and see you soon.
This is my favorite Pho restaurant. I had orderd the chicken & shrimp Pho 7/10 bit loke the tenderloin better nr. 28 better 10/10. The broth itself has a light delicous flavour and it comes with allot of noodles. Most of the people working here speak english bit always try to help and understand. The place is always full tho. The sides are great too.

I enjoyed a curry chicken, though the sauce was mild and unmemorable. My son got rendang beef vermicelli bowl which was also competent but unmemorable. Wife and daughter split mixed grill which disappeared fast. I had a nice beer and wife got a tasty raspberry cocktail.

Even though we didn't make a reservation, they quickly found us a place. The food is very tasty, fast service, Asian approach. Although Vietnamese restaurants around the world should have similar offerings, here there was much more choice. I didn't like that you could only wash your hands with cold water. Also, the place is popular and always full of people in the evening, and because of the affordable prices, sometimes there are no free tables and you have to wait in line.
The waitresses were kind and polite. They spoke English without issues. The food was delicious and surprisingly quick. The prices were not so cheap but they were reasonable. I recommend it.

I had dinner at Madame Saigon while visiting Rotterdam and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout my visit. Warm Welcome, amazing hospitality, I already knew she was very new in the restaurant but the energy to help customer with beautiful smile was just marvelous. And honestly speaking it was the first time, I was having Vietnamese food. And just one word "WOW" not too much spicy, not too much oily. And the atmosphere was unique. Though it was not real plants but the way they have decorated was just superb. Probably, it might exhibits their own culture too.

The best Vietnamese I can get here in the Netherlands!! Normally I don’t write reviews, but I have been here so many times and I can’t gatekeep forever… Everything is so authentic and the service is excellent!! My favourite place to eat and have drinks with my favourite people!!
Recommended: Banh xeo + rice paper, banh mi pork special, lambchops, bo luc lac, vietnamese ice coffee, homemade iced tea and from the cocktails THE asian mule!!

I’m back again and guess what?!!
THERE IS A NEW MENU!! We tried the Banh hoi la lot platter, Hu tieu, Bun cha and ofc the classic Banh xeo again. Everything was so excellent like I expected! I can see the passion of the chef in every dish, WELL DONE!!!
Oh and we also tried a new cocktail: Pink cloud!
It was difficult to decide which one out of the new cocktails, but let’s say we don’t regret our choice!
Mmmm this cocktail was so refreshing with a hint of sweetness, totally different from the other cocktails!! I recommend this one also!!!
And ofc let’s not forget about the classic fresh coconut, always a good choice 😤!

Stumbled upon this spot as we were looking for some comfort food in Rotterdam. We were lucky to have gotten a table for dinner as a walk in as the place seemed pretty busy. Service was quick and we got our food super fast. I got the crispy pork noodle bowl and my partner got pho. Both were delicious and great portion sizes! I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes Vietnamese food!

Not sure if there was a change in chef/ owner, we used to really like the food here….quality of food was no longer good. Portion was small and they used frozen shrimps for menu item 22. Item 22 was a big disappointment. Price-quality ratio is bad and i do not plan to come back again

We have been consistently going to this restaurant 6-8 times a year since 2017. It used to be our go-to for delicious Vietnamese food in Rotterdam. Sadly, the quality of the service has drastically decreased: the owner is too preoccupied hand-feeding his cute dogs (by climbing them on the table where customers eat) than giving his customers sufficient attention when ordering. After getting our order wrong, his response was filled with arrogance and indifference- everyone makes mistakes, but as a business owner, own up to them, instead of adopting a mean dismissive attitude- apologize and move on! Or ask for clarification if the order is not clear. Very sad to see, especially after supporting this business for so long. They even charge for a glass of tap water now. Used to love this place and recommend it to everyone, however this recent experience has left us very disappointed. I strongly encourage the business owner to revise his attitude if he wants to stay in business.

As the weather cools down, I embarked on a quest for a flavorsome noodle soup that would surpass the ordinary. While typically opting for pho from my go-to spot, Phoking, this time I decided to venture into uncharted territory and try something new at MeMe.
Staff is super friendly. Not exactly the vietnamese food i had growing up, but hey it tasted good and was fresh. Sat outside for fresh air. Stayed longer than expected since we were doing some research.. sorry!

Definitely NOT HALAL, dear brothers and sisters. We had a bowl of noodles with meatballs, and the waitress did not warn us at all about the meatball made from pork. Only after we returned the bowl to be reheated, the other waitress did kindly let us know that the meatball is made from pork. All of this is while they blatantly put “halal” word on the menu.
I have been here 3 times and finger licking good food EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. the coconut curry as a vegetarian is to DIE FOR. my partner loved the Phos so much and we were full for the entire day as the quantities are huge. The first time when I ordered delivery from MeMe was really late at night (nearly closing time). There was a tiny issue prevented me from enjoying the food fully. I openly discussed with the owner/manager about the experience and I was blown away that they replied right away and provided a quick solution. Indeed very appreciated of their fast response and professionalism!
The second-time delivery was out of this world!! The owner/manager even delivered it herself because there was no driver at the time. I’m indeed super thankful!
The food is sooo delicious! I TRULY enjoy their salads. Such refreshing flavors and absolutely yummy!! Highly recommend their chicken & shrimp salad! I can feel the love for Vietnamese food crafted in each piece, which can even be seen from the nice decorations. I can see how they wrapped it so carefully that the food looks just like on the menu when it reaches me after such a long ride (the restaurant is in the South while I’m in the North of Rotterdam).

Random pick the restaurant but i found a good one, i got Pho beef with the meat balls. Really beef noodle.
I went here with my boyfriend last week, I ordered a bún bò huế and he had phở. Because I never had a good bún bò in the Netherlands ever, I kept my expectations extra low and oh my god boy was I wrong.
Not only it was authentic, it could actually exceed the average bún bò in Viet Nam. So anyone who wants to try authentic Viet soup besides phở, I recommend this. I gotta say though, compared to phở this soup tastes more complex (MY opinion) so it’s definitely not catered to everyone. It’s more like if you get it you get it. If you decided to try it anyway, please keep this in mind because this is my favourite soup :)

Very cool and cosy place in Rotterdam. The food is delicious, and it’s great that everything is halal (except the “meat balls”, but you can replace the meatballs in the pho with more of the other meat). The staff is very friendly. I would recommend!

We went with colleagues as a group. They have plenty of options, in fact the menu is so extensive and broad with options that might be difficult to choose! All foods were delicious and we were happy with the service. One person said the roasted duck was dry, but overall satisfaction was there with the rest of us. Avocado smoothie and coconut juice were special and lovely!
The bathroom is one floor up, that is accessible through the stairs. There was a nail salon and spa on the floor above the restaurant, which may need booking in advance.
I'm a regular client at the Amsterdam branch (located at Central Station) and I tried this one in Rotterdam with much anticipation. The interior/atmosphere was great, the server friendly (she didn't know what a vietnamese coffee is) but the food was disappointing. The fresh spring rolls were huge but the accompanying peanut sauce was watery and tasteless. 3 star for the food this time but I'll come back and try again.
We visited for lunch and appreciated the convenience of ordering via QR code — a smooth and easy process. The food arrived quickly, and the summer rolls were especially delicious and fresh. We also tried the Beef Banh Mi. While the flavors were enjoyable, the meat was unfortunately quite tough, and the preparation didn’t reflect a traditional Banh Mi. It was a tasty sandwich overall, but not what one might expect from an authentic version.
Got the lunch menu, reasonable price, friendly staff, ordered noodle salad with chicken and shrimp rice rolls, they both tasted really nice... the iced tea with lemongrass was a bit disappointing, didn't taste any lemongrass... but overall, it was a nice meal.
We ate here today, it was the first day having a new menu. We shared a main course because we both have a gastric bypass, and it was just the right amount. We also ordered delicious ice tea and share a dessert, the mango sticky rice. The chef came to us to say we were the first to order it from the new menu, and we got a chance to compliment him for the delicious prawn curry. The mango sticky rice was also delicious, the mango is imported and it was as soft as butter. Very kind waiters, we will be back for sure!

Family owned restaurant with very chill vibes. The staff/owners are super friendly and can provide any information about the menu. I'm not speaking Dutch, but communicating in English was not a problem. The portion sizes actually surprised me positively, I didn't expect to get that much food :) I definitely recommend also grabbing a desert after the main course - they're delicious! Definitely a place to visit in Rotterdam!
We went here with the fork 50% discount. The starters and soup were both very tasty. We were quite disappointed to know that they did not have noodles and so we couldn't get pho. We ordered two main dishes, both with chicken. The lemongrass chicken was better than the garlic chicken which didn't feel very fresh. They were both pretty mediocre. They also didn't have dessert. At this point we weren't sure if they genuinely didn't have the items or if they didn't want to give it under the discount, which also feels like a rip off.
Finally, the change that arrived after payment was short. That was a genuine mistake, but it's better to check to avoid errors.

This was my first time eating around the Zuidplein area. Nice area around the restaurant. We had a reservation and it was quite busy on a Friday night so I would recommend this. We ordered the Sliced Beef Pho (rare beef and brisket), Nguyen's Beef Pho (sliced beef, brisket, tail, tripe and meatballs) and fried spring rolls. The Nguyen's Beef Pho had a lot more flavor than the Sliced Beef Pho. I really liked the fried spring rolls as well. Then also have outdoor and downstairs seating. Nice place and I would recommend!

Had a reservation here for Saturday evening at 6 pm. I would definitely recommend this as the restaurant gets quite busy. We ordered 2 Short Rib Pizzas (Beef Short Ribs, Provola d'Agerola, Roseval Potatoes, Sage, Caramelized Shallots, Lemon Zest) and a Classic Margherita with added Bufala (San Marzano Sauce, Flor di Latte, Parmigiano Reggiano, Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil). Both pizzas were really nice, one of the best Margherita pizzas and the Short Rib Pizza was flavorful as well. Overall nice place and very busy as well!
I’ve been here twice and these are definitely the best pizzas I’ve had in Rotterdam; authentic, generous, with a crust that is very well cooked. The arancini are wonderful as appetizers too (I recommend the truffle ones) ! The staff is very friendly, although sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get their attention during busy hours. I would however think that in a setting this nice (the open kitchen is very cool) and with these prices, fabric napkins could be provided rather than paper ones, and the cutlery could be changed between the appetizer and the main course (the pizza). On my first visit I also got the tiramisu (to go) which was amazing, however they were out of it on my second visit. Suffering from success maybe, but it would have been nice to end the dinner with it ! Still highly recommend Old Scuola overall for the quality of the pizzas and the fun vibe, just a few areas for improvement still.

We had the arepitas. The chicken one didn't have much flavor, you could mainly taste how sweet the bread was, the beef one was better. Also had the goat dish, that was fine, but the maro was dry and tasteless, we should've tried another side dish. The mix grill was okay, it's good value for money. Their homemade lemonade was the best thing we had there.

We ordered the recommended noodle, Gogo nuts laska, it was quite nice, but I expected the soup base would be a bit more salty and stronger spices flavor. But in general, I enjoyed it.
Especially recommend their Wolfberry tea, it is a good choice in the hot weather. The honey brings the sweet which mixed prefect with wolfberry, love it!

It was on my foodylist for the Loempia. Today finally before the movies had to chance to head over Saigon King and what a yummie snacks were they: Chicken Loempia and Bahn Mi Chicken with lemon grass. The loempia was very filled and yet still crunchy! The best loempia along with food truck Mama Hong so far to find in Rotterdam! The Bahn Mi also very filled and a delicious combine with their sweet chili sauce. A trip to go back!

Spring rolls, bubble tea and drinks were all fine. Honestly disappointed in their banh mi. Nowhere near authentic or tasteful. There should be no tomato in a banh mi and chicken was not seasoned well. Flavors are not Vietnamese. You can barely taste the lemongrass or much seasoning at all. They don't have the original banh mi on the menu either. Good for a quick loempia or milk tea though.
The brown pearls in the bubble tea is not the best but the rest are fine. The loempia is really yummy. The place is really small so it gets crowded at peak hours and not corona friendly

This is an incredible food hall with great variety and service. I tried the Pho beef soup from the Vietnamese restaurant and my partner tried the burger place. Both dishes were so tasty and they were actually big portions. They also have a bar so you can have a drink with your food - they have their own local beer! They also support other local breweries in the area. The athmosphere is cozy and I recommend a date night there if you can't decide where to eat - they have all types of food there.
Relaxing National Trust garden with plenty of walks and plants to look at. We went to see the bluebells (the website said they were out) but when we arrived they'd mostly gone past their best. Check before you visit.

A really nice little food market, about 15 minutes by bike from the city centre. The views from the seating area are quite stunning.
We had a cheeseboard, tried some of the beers, and had a really lovely time sat in the sun.

Do not judge the plating of the food, very simple and rustic but the food was worth it. Had the Brisket Burger - it was tender, moist, flavourful! Yummy. The coleslaw adds a touch of freshness to the pile of meat. Had the dessert of the day, Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream - its to die for. The Beef Dog was awesome - a huge beef sausage in between a soft bun.

What a treat this brunch was! Our food was excellent, and the service was so kind and attentive. Then, the atmosphere is second to none! Gorgeous views of the city and a peaceful garden! What could be better?

The entrance to the cafe was a little hard to find, but once you found it you were in a really idyllic cafe. The view of the skyline is beautiful. The cafe and rooftop terrace are urban chic and very inviting.
I had an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup and the “Triple Omega”. My extra requests were accepted in a friendly manner. In general, the service staff were very friendly and attentive.
The food was really delicious. There could have been a few small improvements (for example, the egg yolk could have been more runny), but that's complaining on a high level.
The prices are reasonable considering the location. The portions are a bit small, but it was perfect for me.
I recommend everyone to have brunch there on a city trip to Rotterdam!
Nice food, place is very instagramable, nice decorations, outside terrace is small and warm when sunny. Garden is not accessible. All in all very cute, romantic, and good food. Lift is old and creepy. You have to climb the last stairs from the highest floor reached by the lift to get to the cafe. Small cafe but unique. Difficult to find though
I was here with my friend Julie from Buzz Business Networking after a network meet-up. We had a great cozy brunch today and enjoyed a wine on the rooftop terrace.

The food is delicious, especially the Turkish eggs, the prices are also very good, the location and service are wonderful 10/10
excellent service and delicious brunch! highly recommend!! A beautiful way to enjoy the view of the city. We booked the brunch high tea, and normally I am a bit sceptical about the quality of these high teas but I couldn't find any fault with this one. Everything was delicious!
The rooftop garden is beautiful.
The food is okay. The fries with parmesan and truffle mayonnaise are very strong in flavour. We asked an extra toast and it was not really good.
The service is very bad. When we arrived, it was very disorganised. They asked for my name twice. The reception was not good. We had to get up to order because the waitress did not come to our table. We also had to go to pay the bill.
I recommend it for the view, but only if you have a lot of time to wait.
What a great find! Really enjoyed the food, the cozy vibes and the friendly staff! Love that they have chickens roaming around outside… on the rooftop garden! Such a great place to relax, eat and get a good view of the city.
