Graceland, the famed estate of Elvis Presley, is a popular destination for fans and history enthusiasts alike. The mansion offers tours and exhibits, including a car museum and two jets. Visitors can spend as little as an hour or a whole day exploring the estate's various attractions. The mansion itself reflects Elvis' personal style, with unique decor choices like the iconic Jungle Room where he recorded an album.
Really great experience. Very well staffed and maintained and it was very quiet when we visited! The house itself is lovely. The grounds are beautiful and it's very special to stand by Elvis' grave. Highly recommended. The car collection was amazing - really liked the Pink Cadillac! And don't miss out on the planes! Excellent. Thank You, Thank You very much!

Visiting Graceland in Memphis was a day I will never forget! I’m so glad I planned ahead. I bought my tickets weeks in advance to secure an early morning entry, and it was absolutely worth it. Arriving before the big crowds made the tour feel extra peaceful and serene. It's easy to understand why Elvis cherished his time here so much. Even the horse on the property was the calmest I’ve ever seen, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. The mansion itself is incredible. Every room is unique, showcasing Elvis’s one of a kind style and personal design choices. It’s fascinating to see how much of the decor was customized to his vision. The Meditation Garden was especially moving..beautiful, quiet, and the resting place where Elvis and his family are buried together. Photos are allowed throughout most of the visit though video is not permitted. The upstairs remains closed for privacy. Beyond the mansion, the experience continues with Elvis's plane, auto exhibition, multiple restaurants, museums, and shops filled with an incredible variety of Elvis memorabilia. The merchandising is top notch, there truly is something for every fan! I especially loved the Christmas ornaments! Graceland isn’t just a tourist attraction it’s an enduring tribute. The King’s presence is everywhere, and his legend truly lives on!!

For any die hard Elvis fan this is a must. Absolutely everything to do with Elvis Presley you can see it here. The exhibits are brilliant and well put together. There is a lot of walking but worth it. Did realise how many stage costumes he owned. Exciting to be able to basically be able to walk in his shoes visiting the house he lived and climbing on board his own private jet.

⭐️ Graceland – The Home of Elvis Presley 👑🎸 I booked my tour in advance — they have shuttles taking guests from the visitor center to the mansion. Just a short 3-minute ride and you’re there — and wow, the moment you arrive you feel the history! The house is amazing — from the elegant living room to the famous Jungle Room 🌴, the kitchen, and even the basement gym. Everything looks just like Elvis left it — a real time capsule of the King’s life. Outside you’ll find the beautiful Meditation Garden 🕊️ with Elvis’s grave and his family’s resting place — peaceful and emotional. After the mansion tour, the shuttle takes you back to explore the car museum 🚗 — including the legendary pink Cadillac, his Mercedes, motorcycles, gold records, and so much more! 🎶 Every corner tells a story — Graceland is not just a museum, it’s pure American music history. 📍 A must-visit in Memphis — worth every minute! 💡 Tip: Book early and go in the morning — less crowded and perfect lighting for photos! 📸✨

Visited for Mother’s Day Weekend 2023 I went to Graceland with my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day Weekend 2023, and the experience was absolutely worth it. This is one of those places you don’t truly understand until you’re standing in it. The home, the memorabilia, the décor, and the history all feel frozen in time, and you can see exactly how Elvis lived — not just the celebrity side, but the personal side. We toured the inside of the mansion, and every room is something different to look at. The Jungle Room, the living room, the trophy room, and the hall of gold records were unbelievable. You really feel the amount of work he put into his music and his life. The gardens were peaceful and well-kept, and visiting the meditation garden and gravesites was emotional and respectful. It’s quiet, beautiful, and a place you naturally slow down and take in. The staff kept things moving, and the grounds were clean and organized even though there were plenty of visitors. There’s a lot to see, so take your time — we took tons of photos because there’s no way to describe everything without them. If you're a lifelong Elvis fan or even just someone who appreciates American music history, Graceland is one of those bucket-list places you should see at least once. It was a memorable experience for both of us, and I’m glad we did it together for Mother’s Day. Highly recommend.

It's pricier than your average museum but worth it! Elvis was before my time but my father loved his music and played it when I was little. Elvis liked white leather and gold, he had great taste. Look to spend about 2 to 3 hours here. Parking was $10 and base admission for adults is $85.50.
Melvin W — Google review
Fantastic venue, there is just so much to see and do. I would recommend the "ultimate VIP tour" you get over a 2. 5 hour tour, our tour guide was Alexis she was absolutely awesome, her Elvis knowledge was beyond great. You get your guided tour followed by a nice lunch, then you have as long as you like to look around at all the exhibits, our tour started at 10:15 & we finally left at 17 30. The only reason we left then was because we couldn't walk any more and we had run out of energy, I would have loved to have stayed longer. If you come to Memphis, Gracelands is a must visit.
Pete D — Google review
Was not disappointed when we visited here. It is great to see around the house and the surronding area and museums. Photos that are taken of you by staff are on the pricey side. If cheaper I am sure they would sell more (we did buy some as you are superimposed in front of the music gates to graceland). Inside the house is really interesting and well worth looking round. Outside is the horses area and where Elvis's family are buried. We also ate here but, the organisation on serving the food was terribly slow and not joined up.

Nestled within the iconic Memphis Pyramid, Big Cypress Lodge offers a unique lodge-themed hotel experience. The rustic yet luxurious modern hotel provides stunning views of the Mississippi River and is located inside the expansive Bass Pro Shops complex. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including bowling, fish feeding, live alligator encounters, and exploring the Ducks Unlimited Waterfowling Heritage Center. The accommodations are distinctively appointed with options like Duck Cabin, Tree House Suites, Fly Fishing Lodge, and Governor's Suite.
Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis has won my heart and has my vote for one of my all time favorite places to stay! From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel incredibly welcome! We arrived very early in the morning prior to our rooms being available. They were able to safely stow our bags, point us in the direction of Wahlburgers for lunch then guided us through the app to call their complimentary shuttle to take us to Beale Street! I booked two rooms for 5 people, and I specifically requested ones with balconies overlooking the pro shop. We were even lucky to get the rooms next to each other. and they were stunning!! Gorgeous finishes, efficient layout, and a super cozy, warm feel. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! The fireplace stayed on most the night and was pure magic. This was definitely the rest and relaxation we were in need of especially after a long morning flying! One of my favorite features was the bathroom. The luxurious soaking tub even had shadows of branches swirling across the bottom. A nice little nature’s touch that felt so serene same with the tree in the bathroom-I loved it!! The layout was perfect for our girls’ weekend. We got to maintain our privacy without losing the feeling of sharing the space and fun. I was also so thankful and thrilled by the thoughtful extras. A complimentary snack basket was waiting for us in our room. It was a really nice touch. The free shuttle service was perfect too! The effortless transport made the trip extra enjoyable! I was in awe of the 3rd floor den and bar seating area between the rooms and elevator. Loved the leather chesterfield sofas, uniquely carved wooden tables, warm lighting, and the rustic lodge charm everywhere. It felt both grand and homey. (I could go on forever about how beautiful those design details are!) Also worth noting they have complimentary coffee served and board games set up to play too. Big Cypress is a perfect blend of rustic elegance, comfort, and thoughtful touches. It made for a perfect girls birthday weekend we will never forget!

We were excited to stay at Big Cypress Lodge, especially after calling ahead and being told our room would overlook the swamp and that there were plenty of kid-friendly activities. Upon arrival, valet service was available at the hotel entrance, as mentioned on the phone. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, and the Bass Pro Shop and observation deck are impressive and worth visiting. However, the hotel experience left much to be desired, especially for a 5-star hotel. Our room (#226) was aesthetically beautiful, but the beds were very uncomfortable, our toilet didn’t work properly and unfortunately, it was located next to the housekeeping laundry area and service docks. It was extremely noisy throughout the night, making it difficult to get any rest. The “Adventure Center” was a major letdown—it’s simply a few tiny, cramped rooms with one scheduled activity per evening. The night we stayed was coloring so they were provided markers, paint and blank paper. Most attractions and stores close between 8–9 PM, so if you arrive later in the day, you won’t find much to do. Additionally, there were unexpected fees not clearly communicated when booking: $20 for valet and another $20 for parking. For the price point, the value just wasn’t there. While the overall setting is visually appealing, we wouldn’t stay again and don’t recommend it for families seeking comfort, quiet, or late-evening entertainment.

From start to finish, the team at Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis went above and beyond to make our event absolutely perfect. Every detail was handled with care and precision, creating an experience that exceeded all expectations. The Chef’s culinary skills were nothing short of extraordinary – every dish was a masterpiece, both in flavour and presentation. Our guests are still raving about the food! A special mention to Wendolyn, the banquet coordinator – truly top-notch. I have never worked with a coordinator so hands-on and attentive. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. From valet and bell staff to the front desk team, the service was impeccable. Every interaction reflected genuine hospitality and professionalism. If you’re looking for a memorable venue with exceptional service, outstanding cuisine, and a team that truly cares, Big Cypress Lodge is the place. They turned our event into an unforgettable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

My experience was fairly good. I don't think you need more than a day to stay. Not much to do after the store closes between 7 to 9pm..No room service and restaurants close. You'd need to pack snacks if staying with children. We also noticed a safety issue with the interior balcony rooms. They are screened with a fence, but the fence does not reach the ends...so you have 6 to 8 inch gaps on either side of balcony railings with a 2 to 3 story drop to the ground. Our small dog got through and showed up on the other side of the railing inches from a fall. We luckily were able to coax him in. We were utterly shocked. My 1 year old niece is petite and walking and would have easily fit through the gaps if she were to stay. If you have children under 2 I would advise not letting them.on these balconies.

Really awesome place to stay. Love the coziness. The king terrace room was surprising with the huge patio that leads out on the main terrace which leads around the entire pyramid. When can you ever say you've slept in a pyramid? Plus our driver Willie was so gracious! He took us where ever, when ever. We will definitely be back!
Jeremy A — Google review
If I were to only be rating this place based off the room alone, it would be a 5/5. The room itself was amazing, spacious, and a one of a kind experience. Unfortunately everything else about this hotel is kinda lackluster. The front desk clerk was not rude but did not really give 5-star hotel service. I could tell they just wanted to get their shift over with it, felt like McDonald's level of customer service but again, they weren't rude, just didn't really give that welcoming/friendly feeling that's usually expected at higher end hotels. Once checked in there is really not much to do if you get there late, no room service, lobby bar closes early, nothing really. So it's kinda ridiculous that they charge $20 for a "resort fee" when it doesn't feel anything like a resort. Not to mention the $20 valet parking fee that is forced upon you whether you want to use it or not which is just ridiculous considering that have a giant public parking lot. Overall I would recommend staying just to experience staying in the pyramid and overlooking the Bass Pro Shop, if they could up customer service and stop with the ridiculous fees it would be a 5/5.
Daniel C — Google review
This place is a trap. The website lies about pricing then really pounds you when you get there with even higher pricing. It's basically a scam. The hot water did not work in our fly fishing room in the loft area ..when I asked about it they said they would have maintenance come, I requested they wait to fix it after I left which was the next day...but they did it anyway. There were 4 adults staying in the room..there were 2 robes. I requested 2 more...the answer was we don't supply extras only to folks in the presidential suites. I said there are 4 adults this doesn't make sense? So, I agreed. A day later 2 robes are layed across the bed. Meanwhile, I have do not disturb on both these entries on the door. The lady who informed me I didn't pay enough to get 4 robes was on the phone talking with her friend while I stood there and waited for her to see me, then she told her friend to hang on while she told me that the thousands of dollars I spent wasn't enough for 2 additional robes. The place is dark, musty and dog poop everywhere. They have an obvious staffing issue. I saw only one housekeeper pulling all the weight. God bless her. It was a terrible experience. Not worth the money.
Ann C — Google review
Drive to the hotel was easy and low traffic. Check in was a breeze and the staff was so friendly. The room was fabulous and the kids were so excited with looking at over the store, the huge tub, the animals in the room and the fireplace. The lodge offered so many extras that it was hard to do in one night. We'll be back again. Now for the negative, most of the staff at the fish bowl were rude. Didn't want to wait on us and were rude when they did. We were lucky to have an Asian gentleman sever that was very friendly but the host and bartenders were not. We saw 2 store cleaning staff members smoking marijuana while working. Special shout out to the bartender in the den. She was was so friendly and really had her hands full with trying to provide drinks and play bingo plus answering questions from other guests. She was amazing and I wish I caught her name. (7.26.25)

The Peabody Memphis is a renowned 13-story hotel known for its iconic resident ducks and upscale amenities. The Feathers Spa, named after the famous ducks, offers a wide range of spa and salon treatments, including massages, body therapies, skin care, wax treatments, manicures, and pedicures. The hotel also features the Peabody Athletic Club with an indoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool spa.
Everything about The Peabody is just incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Clean big rooms! Bathroom a bit small but it is an older hotel so to be expected. It did not take away from the overall delightful stay! The Capricco Grill was very delightful with delicious food! In room breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere, absolutely loved it! We will definitely stay again and will be telling anyone we can to stay here. It is well worth it!

The hotel had an old English flare about it with southern hospitality. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious. It is apparent that they made upgrades to the room, but mine still had some mysterious water damage near the front door; I informed the manager, and I heard her addressing it right away. The duck theme is adorable. The hotel food was good.

We loved the Duck Parade and Keenan was a wonderful Duckmaster. Be sure to get there early to get a seat in the lobby. Or if you want, you can sit along the red carpet to watch the ducks parade in. It’s definitely worth it. Just a cute way to start or end your day. Also take a trip up to the rooftop to see the Duck Palace and a great view of the city. The lobby is beautiful and the service was great. They also have a wonderful mural for a photo opportunity!

Oh wow! Just perfect... aside from our very first moments of arrival and first impression! We were tired from long drive and yet excited to arrive... front desk staff was just unwelcoming. being stand offish and seemingly bothered or cranky. The bell hop nearly ran us over at the very entry with cart with no apologies - was very disappointing NOT Peabody quality. However, moving on with much faith... Our reservation had been surprisingly Upgraded to the 12th floor which was a wonderful surprise as it came with happy hour drinks dining and candy bar!!😍Such a beautiful and amazing place! Janice was our reservation specialist and she was GREAT! She was friendly, helpful and accommodating! The rooftop and duck palace is a must see and of course the duck shows are adorable! Lots to see, eat and drink as well as alot of shopping! Beale street was amazing as well! BB KINGS took the win! Met a ton of great people from all over the world....Thank you all for the experience!!

My stay at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis was so enjoyable that I felt it deserved a full review. From the moment I walked into the lobby, the atmosphere felt grand, elegant, and truly one-of-a-kind. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive, making the entire experience feel warm and effortless. Every interaction—from check-in to dining—was handled with care and friendly Southern hospitality. One of the absolute highlights for me was the famous Peabody Duck Parade. Watching the ducks march to the fountain is pure joy and something you simply cannot experience anywhere else. It’s charming, unique, and adds a level of delight that makes the Peabody feel special in a way that goes beyond just being a hotel. The crowd’s excitement, the music, and the history behind the tradition all come together to create a moment you’ll never forget. My room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax. The hotel itself is stunning, with rich details, historic charm, and a timeless elegance that you notice everywhere you turn. If you’re visiting Memphis and want a memorable, top-tier experience—complete with the unforgettable duck parade—the Peabody is truly the perfect place to stay.

Oh, my sainted aunt, where to start? Seeing the Peabody ducks has been on my bucket list forever (since the 80s) and I finally got to see them! (Three times during our four-day visit.) My inner child is sqeeing with happiness. The Duckmaster, Keenan Walker, is simply the loveliest man, and we're now BFFs. 🤣 Our room was well-appointed and scrupulously clean. Breakfast and happy hour in the lounge was delicious - not a huge selection, but I don't like having too many choices. Everything was fresh every day, and there's an omelette station at breakfast. Every single employee I encountered here was welcoming and friendly. This has been simply one of the nicest vacations in my 60+ years on the planet, and I hope to return before too long.

Absolutely incredible experience. The building is absolutely stunning, the ducks are adorable and the staff is phenomenal. The lobby is beautiful with ample seating if various comfort levels, the mezzanine level is full of incredible historical pieces and I highly recommend checking out the memorabilia room on the mezzanine level.

It's been a long time that I’ve stayed at a hotel and not encountered some kind of problem- The Peabody exceeded my expectations! Everything was great! Customer service was top tier! I really wish I could remember everyone's names I encountered when checking in, order room service, asking questions, and checking out because they all were incredibly nice & professional. China, Jack, Keila, Rita, and a lady who's name started with a Z are just a few that I could remember but they all were phenomenal! I'd definitely return to the Peabody whenever I am in Memphis! The entire staff deserves recognition & raises! Thank you all!

The River Inn of Harbor Town is a sophisticated boutique hotel that offers luxurious accommodations with Italian linens and four-poster beds. Situated overlooking the Mississippi River, it provides an elegant setting for weddings and other events, with modern banquet spaces and gourmet catering from Paulette's Restaurant. The hotel's rooftop terrace boasts stunning views, while amenities include complimentary parking, concierge services, and access to on-site dining options such as Paullette's Restaurant and Tugs Neighborhood Grill.
Been a few years, but this was the best place in Memphis to get away for a couple! My wife came home from a deployment, one tear, so I know we needed a honeymoon environment and this was it! They provided the perfect example of that! We'll be back soon, I hope!

I am a caregiver. I booked here for my birthday. A short getaway to take a break. The arrangements we made for my mom to be sat with while gone away from home fell through. I called River Inn and communicated my situation and they made changes to accommodate my mom so that I could bring her and still have a wonderful birthday trip. Our stay turned out amazing because of their kindness and helpfulness. I am so thankful and definitely will return.

Great location! Wish the bar stayed open later. Breakfast was a joke ended up going somewhere else. Room was great only issue was the shower did not drain but we still loved this hotel. Was beautiful.

A Hidden Gem in a Peaceful Corner of Memphis The River Inn of Harbor Town is a charming boutique hotel nestled in a beautifully maintained and tranquil neighborhood just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Memphis. From the moment you arrive, the serene atmosphere and elegant surroundings set the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooms are exceptionally decorated—tastefully furnished with a blend of classic and contemporary touches. They’re not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the standout features is the food and drink. Whether you're dining at Paulette’s or enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop terrace, the culinary experience is consistently excellent. The service throughout the hotel is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—staff go out of their way to ensure every detail is taken care of. It’s worth noting that the hotel maintains a quiet ambiance, with facilities closing by 9:00 PM. While this contributes to its peaceful charm, it may not suit those looking for a lively nightlife scene within the hotel itself. Overall, The River Inn is perfect for travelers seeking comfort, quality, and a touch of Southern elegance in a quiet setting. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or anyone looking to escape the noise without sacrificing luxury.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained and luxurious with complimentary port wine and chocolates, thick towels, plush carpet, a corner study with books, friendly and attentive staff, and a quaint and luxurious convenience store nearby. Sweeping views of the Mississippi River. We were unlucky to have experienced poor service for the breakfast at Paulette’s (50 min wait and no coffee). In the evening, there are no options to purchase food/snacks of any type after 9 pm.

We had a wonderful experience at River Inn! Sharma was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative throughout our stay. The hotel's cleanliness and charm were impressive, and the kid-friendly atmosphere made it a nice spot for a family. Sharma is always dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay. This is our 2nd time visiting.

Should be a 5 star as the location is superb with views of sunset over the Mississipi and our room was well-equipped. Let down by poor housekeeping throughout our stay and admin issues. Our thanks to Jack on reception for sorting many things out on day one. We also had a plumbing issue. Terrace bar lovely with great staff. Young lady in Tugs for days 2 & 3 a delight. But, if you order fruit then eggs they all come at once rather than in order. Overall, in need of a thorough review and better management to reach the standard it should achieve.

The Westin Memphis Beale Street is an upscale hotel located in downtown Memphis, just 200 meters from the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum. The hotel offers relaxed rooms and features an upscale seafood restaurant as well as a 24-hour gym for guests to enjoy. It has received positive reviews for its attentive staff, convenient location near Beale Street, quiet and cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and pet-friendly policy. The upgraded suites are spacious and well-liked by guests.
I recently stayed at this Westin on a sister's trip. We were visiting from Texas. From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out everyone was beyond helpful. Melvin (Courtside Cafe) gave us so much information on things to do in the city and Spencer at the front desk was super inviting and helpful as well. I'm sorry that I don't know everyone's names, but each front desk employee as well as the housekeeping staff everyone were a pleasure. A day didn't go by without us being greeted by every employee and that goes a long way for a southern. The hotel and rooms were clean, well lit, and very accommodating. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. I truly hope you all are rewarded for a job well done.

Staff was excellent and very welcoming, and the location is unbeatable right by Beale Street. That said, the rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. The shower leaked onto the floor every time I used it, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. With updates, this hotel could easily match the quality of its service and location.

Our experience at the Westin on Beale has been terrible. From the moment we arrived it has been regrettable. We are staying here for a conference and this was the chosen location. I will never stay here again and urge anyone looking to go to any other hotel. Upon arrival our room was already occupied. We immediately went downstairs to request a new room. There was no apology. There was also no other room available except a queen which would not work. We left and came back and were eventually given another room. The new room was in terrible shape. The mini fridge was broken so I couldn’t put my water or drinks to have later. The wallpaper is peeling and the carpet is balding. There are eyelashes and mold all over the bathroom walls. The towels appeared dirty and covered in stains. The bathroom itself is very old and the shower is so small you can barely move. This is the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at a “4 star hotel”. The hallway ice machine looks rundown and the overall hotel seems dirty and in disrepair. The valet staff is nice enough so I gave 2 stars. The location is fine and right on Beale. But if you drive or need to uber it’s blocked off by police making it very difficult to get in and out and will take a long time. There are better places to stay nearby. This place needs to be shut down for health and safety.

Hotel lobby and exterior made me think I was getting something semi-luxurious. I thought wrong. My first room smelled very heavily of bleach. Also, the toilet seat was dirty. I asked for a new room, and the staff accommodated my request with no complaints or hesitation. My second room still smelled like cleaning product, but it was less harsh. However, the towels were dirty, stains on light switches, crumbs on ground, mold in shower grout. (You would think a room that smells like harsh cleaning products would be clean?!) ... Given how much I paid, I was shocked at the quality of the rooms, especially for a 4-star hotel. Good news: Location is excellent. Next to Beale Street and easy access to other tourist spots. The hotel itself was quiet during my stay. Staff was friendly. Bad news: However, I will not stay here again.

The good. Rooms and hotel are very nice. Service and staff was excellent. The bad…valet parking but no luggage assistance? When you valet, it’s not as if you can make a couple trips. And no carts either. Same at the Westin in Cincinnati a couple weeks ago. You’d think they’d have morning coffee in the lobby but they don’t. Holiday Inn Express is more guest friendly. The shower could use some cleaning.

Today, l had lunch at the curb side court.. The manger was excellent and took the time to talk to us. Our waitress was Maggie. She was friendly, professional, and kind. Yes, she met all our needs. We also met the salesmanger, Ms. Deion. She too was friendly, kind, and professional. We talked to Keisha and Carmen sharing the different events in Memphis. They welcome us back. Yes, we planned to visit and stay at this hotel. A wonderful staff... You must visit and dine at curbside court.

My mom and I recently stayed at the Westin on Beale St in Memphis on Sunday- Monday. I felt it was necessary to leave a review concerning my experience with the staff during this time. We were particularly impressed with the attentiveness of the front desk staff, the immaculate condition of the room, the quality of the food at the restaurant, the efficiency of the concierge. Specifically, the rock star: Manager Jaylon, as well as Cynthia and Trivia at the front desk, who provided outstanding assistance with patience and attentiveness during my check-in process. For more context, we were supposed to fly in on Saturday and stay in the a particular suite for the whole stay. Unfortunately, due to consistent flight delays, we were unable to arrive in Memphis until Sunday. I let them know that I was canceling the original reservation to reflect the 1-night stay, but later determined that, due to the time we'd arrive, I should have kept it as it was. I tried to rebook the original, but due to multiple local events, the site was booked. I spoke to Jaylon, and he said to book one night and he'd see what he could do, Especially since the suite has to be requested 48 hours in advance. Kim, they handled our request promptly and were able to secure the room for us with an early check-in. There was no complaint, just a desire to help. The overall experience was outstanding, and your staff's professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to ensuring our comfort truly stood out. This level of service contributed significantly to our wonderful stay and created cherished memories in Memphis. Thank you once again for making our visit so memorable. We are excited to return to your hotel in the future.

The room was great, nice bed, clean room. The breakfast however was not good. I went to the restaurant inside the hotel and I ordered the southern breakfast. 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties, grits and a biscuit. I seasoned the eggs with salt and pepper and took a bite and they were cold. I took a bite out of the sausage patty and it was cold as well. The grits were the only thing I received hot. I told Ashley J., my server my eggs and sausage were cold. She asked if I wanted them re-cooked and replied yes. She took them away and brought the same eggs and sausage that I took a bite out of back just warmed up. I looked at it as she walked away told my wife that it was the same food she took away. It was now over cooked so I pushed it away and asked for my check since obviously they have no intentions to make it right.

The Central Station Memphis, Curio Collection by Hilton is a polished hotel located in a historic 1914 building adjacent to a train station. Following a massive renovation in 2019, the hotel now houses a working Amtrak station and offers luxurious accommodations.
Stayed here for a long weekend visit to Memphis. It is centrally located, and a simple walk to all the tourist attractions. This Hilton owned hotel is charming and historical in appearance, as it preserved the "train station" architecture in many spaces. True to the Hilton brand, staff were friendly, helpful, and provided prompt service. We booked a "industrial loft" vibe room, and its industrial decor did not disappoint! The room was spacious, with all the modern amenities in operating order. On Friday & Saturday the bar can get super busy with people spilling into the entrance way and into the parking lot, but everyone, including staff were in a good mood. Also, don't worry ... rooms are far enough from the bar that you can escape to enjoy the privacy and quiet of your room too. Memphis can be as fun as you make it. Get dressed up, seek out some live blues music, dance, laugh, and embrace being in the moment! As with any business in a city center, parking can be an issue. I recommend arriving before the nightlife, and you will be just fine.

I am a Hilton Honors member and was recently becoming more and more disillusioned with what seemed to be the inconsistent quality of the Hilton brand. However, being somewhat of a brand loyalist and absolutely adoring Eight & Sand (the hotel lobby bar/lounge) here at Central Station I decided to look into the possibility of hosting my family reunion at this location. I AM SO GLAD I DID! From the negotiation of the group rate ( 5 months in advance), to coordination of rooms, back and forth between booking suites, including the hospitality suite, meeting with every manager of every team to make sure my 70 person reunion would be hosted to perfection, I cannot stress how amazing this hotel and staff are. They made all the difference with making sure our family reunion was a success. It's an immersion style hotel, without all the charm of a historical building without sacrificing on modern amenities. The location is perfect for those looking to check out near attractions like the riverfront, National Civil Rights Museum, be close to local eateries, or use of public transit (AMTRAK and Trolley access). The food is delicious. We also hosted our banquet at this location and the team was able to craft a custom menu within it. Everyone loved the food ( macaroni and cheese!!!) and drinks were fantastic. The banquet manager made sure to be available the entire time including for setup and breakdown. His team was soooo helpful. I am profoundly grateful for Erica Carter, Nekeshia Ivy, and the entire team who made themselves available before, during, and after our reunion.

Subject - Profiling I am writing to express my profound disappointment and dissatisfaction with the treatment I received during my stay at your establishment on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The conduct of your staff, particularly in the hotel lobby/bar area, was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful, and I am compelled to bring this matter to your attention. At approximately 10:30 PM, I visited the lobby bar to order food. I requested a menu and placed an order for a slider, BBQ wings, and French fries. The bar attendant informed me that the order would take 30 minutes, which I accepted. I then proceeded to order a strawberry margarita while seated at the bar. To my astonishment, the bar attendant refused to serve me, insisting that I drink water first and implying that I appeared intoxicated. This accusation was not only baseless but also highly offensive, as I was entirely sober. Despite my attempts to clarify and address the attendant’s inappropriate assumption, she persisted, leading to an unnecessary and uncomfortable exchange before she reluctantly prepared my drink. Approximately 25 minutes later, the same attendant approached me again, this time in an unnecessarily confrontational manner. She stated, in what I can only describe as a rude tone, that I needed to move from my seat because I was allegedly “blocking people from entering the bar.” This claim was absurd, as there was ample space on both sides of me, and I had not positioned the stool myself. The attendant then abruptly moved the stool and directed me to “stand in the corner,” an action that was both humiliating and unwarranted. This treatment made me feel undervalued and unwelcome as a paying guest at your establishment. I promptly reported this incident to the front desk manager on duty, expecting a professional response and resolution. Regrettably, I received no follow-up or acknowledgment from your team prior to my checkout, which only compounds my frustration and suggests a lack of concern for guest satisfaction. The behavior exhibited by your staff is unacceptable and falls far below the standards one would expect from a reputable hotel, particularly one associated with American Express’s Fine Hotels & Resorts program. It is disheartening to observe that your staff appeared more preoccupied with external patrons than with ensuring the comfort and respect of registered guests. This experience has left me with no confidence in recommending your establishment to others, and I strongly urge American Express to reconsider your property’s inclusion in their prestigious program. I expect a formal response addressing this matter and an explanation of the steps your hotel will take to ensure such incidents do not recur. I look forward to your prompt attention to this serious issue. Thanks Brent

If this review is helpful, please make sure you leave it a like 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. This was a cute little gem 💎 that I happened to stumble upon. I stayed at this hotel just for 1 night during a business trip. When I arrived at the hotel, they were having a very loud party in the lounge in the lobby. So this got me a little scared because I thought, oh no I can't hear all of this music while I'm trying to go to sleep. I was very surprised that when I got up to my floor that my room was on, I could not hear any noise. This was a pleasant surprise. However, the hotel is very dark and this does include the rooms. That is the one thing that I have to complain about this hotel. Other than that, the bed was wonderful and slept very nicely. Hot water pressure was tremendous. The look of the hotel is exciting and I just absolutely love that they have artwork of Isaac Hayes in the lobby. Hospitality was incredible.Such nice people. This is big to me, I would definitely stay here again.

The best part of the hotel is its location and lobby bar area. It’s a pretty good hotel. Are you staying there for three nights? Max gets really small, and it’s hard to control the air conditioning. It’s very musical, with a bunch of musical elements, and it’s really nice. The pictures and artwork are unique and interesting.

The parking lot was a little bit off the main street which I missed the first time passing by but that’s my fault. Adequate lot, ample parking day or night. The staff that greeted me were lovely, great Memphis energy. Being my first time in Memphis, they gave me lots of great tips and ideas of things to do. The bar inside the entrance was fun to check out - kinda like a tram station and a library at the same time. It was great to be able to view it from above. My room was spacious and clean and had a great view of this pizza show out the window. It seemed like a busy intersection where I was able to people watch before heading down to grab a slice. The location is great for heading out. Loved my stay here! The place was super unique. There’s a good amount of strange artwork in the hotel lobby for you to check out too! Great value for the price.

This place is a nice hotel right in the train station. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. I also liked the fact that it was built so nicely around the train station. It just gives it a neat look and cool vibes. The only complaint I have is the bathroom doors. It’s a sliding door with no locks or latches so you’re privacy is only as good as the door

The hotel is located a distance from Beale Street and I would say it is not really walkable....there is a low quality area in between, which is patrolled by security guards. We chose to use Uber to get to / from Beale. The hotel itself is OK....staff were pleasant. Our room on the top floor was small, but with a good view overlooking the city. There was no room safe, which we dont understand, meaning we had to carry our valuables with us. There is a cocktail bar in the lower ground floor playing music (chosen by a silent DJ). It also serves bar meals. There was a happy hour, but on checking we weren't charged happy hour prices even though we should have been. They forgot to charge us for a wine, so that equalled things out. Bar food was good. The hotel is located literally right next to the station, which was convenient for the next part of out trip, but not, as I say, for visiting downtown.

I recently stayed at Hotel Napoleon, and what a wonderful experience it was! The property is truly stunning…every detail, from the elegant decor to the immaculate cleanliness and spacious rooms. A standout highlight of our stay was the front desk receptionist, Tim. He was not only incredibly friendly and professional, but he also got us checked in swiftly, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. His warm demeanor and efficiency set a welcoming tone immediately, and his thoughtful service made us feel like valued guests. I’ll definitely be returning!

The only good feature of this hotel is its friendly staff. The list of bad things about this hotel is long. The walls are so thin that if someone's 2 rooms over you can hear them coming and going, and if someone's in the next room you can hear the person in the room having a phone conversation and the person on the other end of the phone. A slamming door in the night rattled my bed. The wifi is completely unusable. I would open a website, and it would error out before loading because the wifi was so slow. I was there for work and would have to leave the premises to have enough internet to do my job. They put hand soap in the shower instead of body wash. There are light switches on the base of the sconces next to the bed. Those don't work, and the real light switches are hidden on the power outlet. One window was about 8 inches taller than the other, but the blinds were the same length. One window had 8 inches on the bottom not covered by the blinds. When I was telling my friends about the experience, I described it as "comically bad." It is not humanly possible to recommend against this hotel enough.

The room was clean and nice. It’s located near the best spots. The negative was The on site restaurant / bar hosted a private event the night we got in and was therefore closed the entirety of the weekend. Went to grab what they were offering for breakfast, it was mini muffins with a gnat or two trapped in the container, lemon water and coffee. We opted to brave the storm to go to a nearby restaurant. The decor in the lobby is gorgeous.

Hotel was nice and in a good location. Was initially very excited about the stay. But when I went to check in 30 minutes after checkin time, multiple families were waiting for their room to be ready. They gave me my room but it was in bad shape. The refrigerator was clearly broken, the shower had no shower curtain or door, there were multiple cracks in the walls and flooring that weren’t taken care of. They gave me another room after I requested it, which was in better shape. But I had to wait for it to be cleaned. After that, They didn’t really clean my room over my 4 days there and they were out of coffee for the rooms as well. It’s not a terrible option for the price and location, but the day to day service was rough.

Great location, only a short walk to be in the heart of memphis. Hotel staff all friendly and the restaurant to the side is fantastic for breakfast if you choose B+B. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need, and quiet.

Everything is broken. The ac unit in our room rattles something awful and the room won’t get cold so it is always on. The back lighting on the bathroom mirrors work in either of our rooms which would be fine if they had other lighting in that area of the bathroom, but they do not. All of the entrances to the hotel are broken. Seriously. I walked around the building several times in the one night we have had to stay here so far being directed to other doors. I finally had to knock on the automatic doors and were instructed that I should have entered through a side door without a handle. The HVAC at the door was blowing hot air when you walked in, when it’s 80 degrees out. The floor in the rooms entry way and bathroom are sticky. I really don’t typically leave reviews, but avoid this place.
Katherine H — Google review
Paper thin walls. Heard very frisky, very loud neighbors at very early morning hours. Noises of drag racing on the streets made it seem like the windows were open though they weren't. If you stay here, bring a sound machine. Also, the poor guy at the front desk had no one else working from 7 pm onward overnight - in the entire hotel! We couldn't get our shampoo and body wash refilled without him leaving the desk and doing it himself. Street parking is also sketchy, saw a car across the way with a busted out window. So only use the paid parking deck next door. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that the property is nice, beds comfortable, and feels like a modern hotel. Other than the very negative experiences mentioned above.
Jay H — Google review
Room was “worn “, too small for 2 queens (could only get out of one side on each bed), and very humid. Other than our initial arrival, front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge us when we came in the door. The restaurant didnt ever appear to be open. The hotel seems like it was really nice in the past, but maybe has fallen on hard times. On the plus side, it is walkable to Beale Street if that’s your thing.

Hu. Hotel, a stylish and contemporary accommodation option in Memphis, offers stunning river views and is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Memphis Riverboats and the Mississippi River. The hotel features a hip restaurant called eighty3, serving global cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop lounge with panoramic views of the Mississippi River at the property's Twilight Sky Terrace. The modern fitness center provides complimentary bottled water and chilled towels for guests' convenience.
First time in Memphis and I decided to stay here based on reviews and cost. I was extremely surprised with how amazing the staff is. Typically you don’t get that true hospitality. Specifically Eboni and Dedrick were phenomenal. Eboni was so friendly and helpful and genuinely nice. She went above and beyond in helping me and answering my questions. Dedrick I didn’t interact with him personally but seeing him walk in with the biggest smile, the way he went above and beyond with every customer interaction I witnessed and went out of his way to make sure everyone had what they needed. He is a diamond. These two were truly truly phenomenal. Everyone else that worked at the hotel as well was so friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar was really nice. Great views esp during the sunset and the bartender made a phenomenal drink. My only critique would be to have a trash can in the bathroom/room. I felt awkward not having one and trying to figure out what to do with anything I had to discard. Otherwise if I come back to Memphis, I’ll for sure be coming back to the Hu!

The rooms very nice but lacked a lot of features that were expected for the price paid. Parking price was extremely high and in a separate garage which meant taking your stuff with you from two story garage across a block. There was no laundry. The fitness center was across the block as well. Breakfast was not included and cost a separate fee. They had a nice rooftop but it was not taken care of, paint was chipping, the chairs had no cushion and were uncomfortable and wasps were prevalent. The cocktails we an additional fee as well. The carpet in the hallways were wrinkly as it wasn't staked down properly. They also charged a 75 dollar deposit and would keep it if a incident occured. There was not a list of what those incidents entailed. The location was decent, and a 10 minute walk from Beale Street and from the river front. Service was nothing to tell about, they gave us the room and sent us on our way. Overall, very expensive for what was provided, the view was nice but could have a better sitting area.

Deadrick is an amazing employee. He is attentive, informative and helpful. Rooms overall are good but need microwaves. My fridge needs fixing or replacing. Will report it tonight. Hall carpet is dirt old and stained. Employees work hard to keep this place clean. Parking is $25 per night, located across the street and not acknowledged honestly on the site. Bed is awesome.

I stayed at Hu. Hotel for a couple of nights and had a pleasant experience with the reception desk ladies and the gentleman tending the area outside of the doors. All polite and helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel itself which feels in retro style needs attention in a few areas. The carpeted floor (I was on the 13th floor) had passed its service life and creases and folds are visible. Not quite a trip hazard, but hopefully it will be upgraded in time. Some details need to be tended to. For example I noticed a sprinkler head lacked the metal trim piece that typically is installed around it. Otherwise the rooms were clean and will maintained, the beds comfy, and check-in process was easy. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city and in a walking distance to Beale Street and the waterfront. The one thing I found inconvenient was that the hotel charges the credit card a refundable amount of (less expenses such as parking, and hotel items) $70 for each night of stay. I have never had such a deposit taken out of my card in other hotels. This forces me to track the refund status in my account. Other hotels just keep the credit card information and charge it as needed for items used or consumed.

For starters, upon check in I was charged 2 different prices then I was quoted on Booking.com. Then was told about a $75 per night incidental fee that wasn't explained at the time of reserving the room. The room was EXTREMELY underwhelming upon entering and very outdated to be in the Downtown Memphis area. Fixtures was broken, floors EXTREMELY dirty, there was a HUGH urine stain in the middle of the mattress and dried up blood was on comforter. Then when we contacted the front desk about the situation, it took them 2 hrs to bring new fresh linens. After the long wait we called back to the front desk and told them that we would change the sheets ourselves if someone would just bring them and MAGICALLY they came to the room in 5 minutes. Even other staff members said that this hotel is unorganized and lacks communication with one another. My wife's white socks were black on the bottom with dirt, soil, and grime FROM WALKING AROUND IN THE ROOM!!!!!! I wish I was able to upload pictures I took showing everything I'm describing in this review. Between the fee discrepancy and filthy rooms I wouldn't recommend anyone staying in this hotel for all the nickel and diming that they do from the time you walk through the door. This owner should be ashamed in the current conditions of a this hotel in the Downtown area of Memphis and should take more pride in bettering this property. DO BETTER HU. HOTEL MEMPHIS. 😤

Exceptional Stay at The Hu Hotel, Memphis! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My recent stay at The Hu Hotel in Memphis was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Deadrick Fleming, the doorman, set the tone for the entire visit—he was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Ebony at the front desk was just as amazing—friendly, efficient, and made check-in a breeze. She makes great coffee as well! Keisha and the entire team were consistently kind, courteous, and accommodating throughout the stay. Every interaction felt genuine and full of Southern hospitality. The atmosphere of this boutique hotel is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly captures the charm of Memphis. I would highly recommend when visiting downtown Memphis, and thanks to Dedrick, Ebony, Keisha, and everyone at The Hu Hotel.

I stayed at The Hugh Hotel recently. The building itself is old and badly in need of updates. There’s only one small mirror in the bathroom and maybe three or four lamps in the entire room—none of which provide enough light. The only good lighting comes from the large window during the day. The real problem, though, was the complete lack of customer service. I went out with friends that evening and returned late. My roommate was already asleep inside the room, and I didn’t have my key or the exact room number. I went to the front desk for help, explained that my name wasn’t on the reservation but that I had paid for half the room, and gave them my friend’s full name, phone number, and other identifying info. The front-desk clerk refused to help in any way—she wouldn’t call the room, confirm the floor, or even try to verify the situation. When I asked for help from security, they only told me to leave the lobby. As a paying guest who spent over $150, I was forced to sleep in my car in the parking garage. This was an incredibly unprofessional and inhumane experience. The staff clearly need customer-service training and better procedures for handling basic guest issues. Between the outdated rooms and the total lack of empathy or problem-solving, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

ARRIVE Memphis is a trendy boutique hotel located in the South Main arts district, offering chic rooms and a cocktail bar. Situated across from the National Civil Rights Museum, it's an ideal choice for those interested in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy. The pet-friendly hotel features contemporary industrial-style rooms with historic touches, as it was originally a plumbing warehouse built in 1907.
I’m not a “review girly” but from the minute I walked into ARRIVE Memphis, I knew I’d be writing one. It was so beautiful on the inside and from the moment I turned the corner, the crew was so warm and welcoming in a way that felt incredibly genuine. I had been traveling across the country so had a lot of stuff in my car, which I know is a no-no anywhere you travel. But Terrence assured me that their valet service would have my vehicle locked within an enclosed garage. And it was indeed fine the next day. The room was gorgeous and honestly smelled SO GOOD. I do not know what I was smelling but I was absolutely obsessed and relaxed from it. The bed was inviting and incredibly comfortable and everything was generally so pleasing to look at. I got in a little late, but was thrilled to learn that Gus’s World Famous Chicken was just a short walk down the street and still open. EJ and I discussed their menu and I felt confident in my dinner choice (turned out to be an excellent one). My only regret is that I was only passing through town for one night and I didn’t get to try anything from their kitchen, bar, or coffee areas. I am certain I will stay here again in the future and try them next time! Thank you, ARRIVE Memphis!

Absolutely Spectacular Stay! From the moment I walked into the Arrive Hotel in Memphis, I was blown away. The boutique-style atmosphere was adorable and inviting, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. At check-in, Lamaria and Willie greeted me with the biggest smiles and made me feel instantly at home. They went above and beyond—recommending great places to eat and welcoming me back every time I returned like I was family. Not to mention, EJ coming in with the same positive energy and making sure to let me know if I needed anything not to hesitate to let him know! Lisa Jones, head of housekeeping, remembered that I love extra towels and made sure my room was perfect. Along with Demetrius Cunningham and Debra Morris on the housekeeping team, they took care of every little detail—towels, maintenance, and anything else I needed. And I can’t forget the bartender (I wish I remembered his name!) who made me the best spicy pineapple rosemary margarita I’ve ever had—absolutely amazing! I truly could not have asked for a better experience. The Arrive Hotel’s staff made my stay feel special from start to finish, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

The Hotel staff was excellent. I love the decorations in the lobby and also the room. The bed was very comfortable It was a wonderful first time experience for me and my husband. I will definitely come back again. God is good and so was the kind staff. We pray that God will smile on them for the kindness they share with us. Be blessed ❤️.

Upon arrival for my first time in Memphis, I was blown away by the service. With so much to do with all the shipments we had sent to the hotel for our event, the amazing staff took it upon themselves to go above and beyond to help us so when we checked in everything we had to do was already done. Lamaria, Willie, and Richie were incredible!! Thank you all as well as your supporting staff for your hospitality. Definitely recommend this hotel 10/10. And the coffee is amazing

We really enjoyed our 3 nights here recently for our wedding anniversary trip - thanks for the hand written card ! The room was very clean, quirky and very welcoming with concrete floors and industrial fittings. It was warm and cosy - despite the exposed flooring ! The bed was so beautifully comfortable. The Bluetooth speaker was an added bonus. We loved the room and the hotel. The TV remote was a bit frustrating and not responsive.

A very cool boutique hotel entirely staffed by people who care about their job. From check-in, to bartenders, to cafe, to housekeeping. One of the better hotel bars I’ve been to, yet in a cozy, unpretentious setting. Attention to detail in the rooms with comfortable beds and elevated touches. The Valet is small and doesn’t allow for the most graceful check-in with luggage, but not the biggest deal. Would highly recommend!

Parking is a little confusing, but worth it for the experience of walking through the neighborhood. You park in the little "road" next to the hotel and if you want to pay for locked, enclosed parking, the valet will take your car. On street parking is free after 10pm. There are mostly trendy bars in the area. The diner, The Arcade Restaurant is only open from 7a to 2p. After our 7 hour drive, we were ready to eat! Across the street, there's an EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant, South Main Sushi. We had some of the best Hibachi and sushi we've ever had there. The service at Arrive was excellent. The rooms are contemporary, nicely furnished and very clean. EJ was professional, but also friendly and fun.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Only minor faults and possibly my own fault but 100 usd per night hold on your card which I didn’t know about until it happened and practically wiped out the card I use for travel. Heads up would have been nice. Aircon powers on rather than a steady stream of cool air. Is that an American thing. Otherwise great hotel, beautiful people, handy location.

The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is an elegant establishment with a trendy rooftop bar, a spacious restaurant, and a fitness center. Situated in the vibrant Overton Square area of Memphis, this pet-friendly hotel exudes Southern charm and boasts nightly cocktails at its rooftop bar, Tiger and Peacock. The on-site restaurant, Complicated Pilgrim, offers delectable local cuisine.
From the moment I walked through the doors, Geneva made me feel like a truly valued guest. Her warm smile, professional demeanor, and genuine kindness set the tone for my entire stay. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed—from offering great local recommendations to making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. Geneva has that rare ability to combine efficiency with heart. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the guests she serves. You don’t often come across people like her in customer service anymore. If every hotel had a Geneva at the front desk, travel would be a whole lot better. Five stars all the way!

This property was beautiful! And the staff was phenomenal! I booked a room for my niece’s wedding night. So I needed everything to be perfect. Billy and Santrese were so helpful and accommodating. The newlyweds truly enjoyed their stay. After the stay, some items were left behind. Janice from housekeeping was so kind to help me locate those items. I will definitely book this property again and recommend to others.

My recent stay at The Memphian Hotel was an exceptional experience, made even more memorable by the outstanding service provided by the front desk associate, Jac. From the moment I arrived, he demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, attentiveness, and courtesy. Jac were not only welcoming but also highly informative, ensuring that I had all the details I needed regarding my stay and the surrounding area. He handled each interaction with remarkable patience and consistency, going above and beyond to create a seamless and comfortable experience. His timely responses and proactive approach reflected genuine care for guest satisfaction and a true commitment to excellence. It is rare to encounter such a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Jac is a true asset to The Memphian Hotel and embodies what exceptional customer service should look like. Because of his hospitality, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Memphis area.

Awesome, funky decor. Great rooms, unbelievable hospitality! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Originally I was given a room with smaller beds, and I am a very tall man(6’8”). Miss GENEVA at the front went out of her way to arrange a great room with a king size, which made my 4 night stay infinitely more comfortable. They also have an awesome rooftop bar you absolutely have to check out! After this experience, this is the only hotel I want in Memphis.

Such a great place to stay while in Memphis on business. I was here for an extended period and the staff was great. I revived a big welcome every day I came back to the hotel. The front desk agents were great. Zarria especially! She was so fun and helped me anytime I needed it. I honestly think you could take a picture of her and add it to the lobby art work. I will be coming back during my return trips to Memphis!

What an experience I’ve had here in Memphis at the Memphian. Extraordinary rooms and comfort including service. A nice elegant rooftop setting with a scene that’s breathtaking. Within walking distance to so much food and fun. I enjoyed restaurants such as The Four Way (soul food) and had a great soul burger from Ernestine and Hazels. I enjoyed a live rock band called “Your Moms New Boyfriend” at Lafayette music room and met some pretty amazing people in between. This hotel has a portfolio of locations and are all Marriott’s, all over the world that I for one cannot wait to experience. It’s funky decor did not disappoint and the overnight staff from 09/20/25 was more than accommodating. They have 24/7 security in the parking lot so coming in and out at night was a breeze. THANK YOU FOR A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES THAT ILL NEVER FORGET. and here’s to making more at the locations in the portfolios.

As soon as we arrived, the hotel was striking with it's modern decor and excellent layout. The one team member that really didn't want to be bothered was also very striking. No greeting, no questions, didn't even tell us the room number or anything about the hotel, just slid the envelope and key over and asked "What else do you need?". The rooms are ok; not 5 star but close to 4. The restaurant on the roof is a must do. Oh, parking is a mess at night...

Beale St is a renowned street in Memphis, known for its vibrant nightlife and live music scene. It's lined with funky hangouts, bars, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. The street has a rich history as the home of the blues and continues to be the city's epicenter of music. Visitors can enjoy street performers and explore the brick-lined thoroughfare that has been a cultural hub for over a century.
Enjoyed walking down Beale Street ,kinda like our Bourbon Street but smaller and cleaner .

Canopy by Hilton Memphis Downtown Beale Street is a trendy hotel located in the heart of Memphis, just steps away from AutoZone Park and Peabody Ducks. The upscale hotel offers music-themed rooms and is conveniently situated near popular attractions such as Beale Street, FedEx Forum, and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Guests can take advantage of amenities including a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary wireless internet access, and on-site dining options at the chic restaurant/bar.
I read some reviews and I was nervous but Natasha killed it at checking super friendly and fast. Our room was ready a good for the value. We did not know the room we got was on the corner of union and bb king which was very loud and busy on the weekend till 3am. But the next morning Cindy was amazing and put us on an interior room which was some much quieter. The staff in the hotel was great. Separate review for the restaurant.

Affordable Luxury in Downtown Memphis. I was in Memphis for one of my Food adventures and decided to try The Canopy near Beale Street. At the time of my booking, the hotel was less than two hundred dollars per night, even with the taxes and charges. The hotel is modern and has much to offer. The lobby and ground floor have a restaurant, a bar, and there is a coffee shop just outside the expansive hotel lobby. The hotel has all of the amenities that you would want, such as a state-of-the-art fitness center with modern fitness and cardio equipment. The rooms are ergonomically laid out and seem bigger than they actually are. The beds are very comfortable, and my king suite came with a long hallway behind the bedroom wall that had a bench, a closet, and a pull-out refrigerator, all in the corridor to the spa-like bathroom. The bathroom was spacious and clean and had an ample supply of towels and toiletries. The only issue I had was that the floor was dirty just beneath the window, and there was some debris on my carpet and floor. I called the front desk, and while I was out and about on Beale Street, housekeeping came and immaculately cleaned not just my floor and carpet but the whole room. One nuance of the hotel that might affect some guests is that Charlie Rendezvous Charcoal Ribs, an iconic Memphis rib spot, is right next door to the hotel. The smoke from the restaurant permeates through the hotel. If you like ribs and the smell of charcoal, you will be fine. If you don't, then be aware that the building's ventilation picks up the smoke and smells from next door.
Peter M — Google review
I've stayed at this hotel many times and in the past my only complaint was the hair products and soaps had way too strong of a charcoal scent. They've changed over to a much more pleasant line of products now. Rooms are always clean and in great shape the staff is friendly and attentive.

First time in Memphis and absolutely loved it. I was on the 2nd floor room 221 and was greeted by someone from cleaning staff who was so wonderful. When I told her it was my first time in Memphis, she said come over here and give me a hug. That is the warmest welcome I’ve ever had in a city and it set the tone for a great evening before I headed back to Virginia the next morning. The room was very clean and comfy. I will definitely be staying here again next time. The location was perfect for all the places we wanted to go and we chose to do parking nearby to save money as opposed to the valet option.

While staying at the canopy, I had a really good experience the rooms were designed cute and the size was perfect for me and my family. The staff was really nice and helpful, and the restaurant attached to the canopy by Hilton had deliciously tasty food, that had us going back everyday we stayed there. I would recommend to stay here.
Alieya S — Google review
Our stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Memphis was fantastic! The hotel has a modern, stylish feel while still being warm and welcoming. The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown and just a short walk from Beale Street, the riverfront, and plenty of great restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with great city views. The on-site restaurant and bar were also excellent — a great spot to relax and grab a bite after exploring Memphis. Overall, the Canopy is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Memphis. Great service, great atmosphere, and an unbeatable location!
Meir B — Google review
Check in was pleasant and the property is nice. The room was well appointed but little things were missed- example- empty body wash container in shower. The restaurant had great staff. The food was average but had a premium price tag. Overall, I would have expected more for the price point. Not bad but not blown away. Would I return? Yes Also- $50 to have your car parked. I never mind paying for valet, but it was high considering I had to search for someone to take my car.
Stephanie B — Google review
Excellent 10 foot experience, but the details fall through. As others have mentioned, the cleaning is not too notch and the room sound proofing from outside is far from great, especially for a music themed hotel. Valet parking is mandatory and expensive at 48$ per night The restaurant is quite expensive and they automatically add 18% tip, but when it's time to sign your bill, they add another tip line, careful to not pay it twice.

We had such a great stay at the Moxy Memphis. The vibe of the hotel is fun, modern, and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Donna at the bar—her service was absolutely amazing. She was warm, attentive, and made some fantastic drinks that really set the tone for our evenings. Between the stylish rooms, the lively atmosphere, and Donna’s outstanding hospitality, this is definitely our go-to spot in Memphis. Can’t wait to come back!

Of all of my years as a Motor Coach Operator, this was by far the greatest experience I've had!!! Not pictured, was the hotel staff but Christian, Terrell, Mr. Terry (Courtyard by Marriott) and the young man that has locs(didn't catch his name), even the security guard, were the absolutely most helpful folks during my stay for the Southern Heritage Classic. The parking was not the greatest (I've had worst ) but when I tell you they were on top of it from start to finish!!! There were 2 motor coaches in my set. The had arranged and blocked parking reserved for us, directed traffic when it was needed, and when another 5 buses showed up they had a plan for that also. I tell you they showed LOVE and I couldn't thank them enough for turning what could've been a crazy parking experience into gold!!! Not many places that I go to that has limited parking for oversized vehicles, have ever went out of their way to make sure parking our big ole buses would be comforting to do. You guys are the real MVPs!!! (Higher ups I see raises and promotions for all of these guys lol) now my experience with the hotel was a good one as well. My only complaint was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. Hence the 4 stars on the room.) It was comforting, clean with plenty of food options in walking distance and entertainment to of your just sitting around in the square. That's where I met Ms Joyce and Ms Natalie, 2 sisters that sing the blues!!! That was really nice experience especially because I like live band/ music. There was guy with them also that sang, played the harmonica and guitar (didn't catch his name or get a picture😬) but I enjoyed what I was hearing. This was a very comforting experience for me in my line of work and the staff gave the ultimate driver experience. These guys were the biggest part of my beautiful rant lol

The Moxy Memphis is such a fun place to stay. The hotel has a great energy, from the stylish lobby to the comfortable rooms. What really stood out for us though was the service at the bar. Donna was incredible—she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, remembered our names, and mixed some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. She turned a good trip into a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Stayed here for 1 night, found the hotel to be a little cheap, like I know it's a 2 star but not having a closet was a bit of a shock. Location is super sketchy couldn't have stayed for more than a night tbh. Went to explore Memphis a little bit really didn't feel safe at all, large homeless presence all around hotel didn't set the best tone. Wouldn't be back here I'm afraid.
Rob S — Google review
The hotel concept was nice and the location was great. Some hotel staff were extremely nice, but the valet was horrible and extremely unorganized. It appeared they were sharing valet services with another hotel and the valet attendants were rude. Then the stash rooms didn’t have enough supplies. Great concept but you need enough towels and toilet paper.
Tonora S — Google review
Excellent front desk staff and nice location; however, terrible valet experience both days (first day they tried to give us the wrong vehicle and the second day it took over 30 minutes for them to bring our vehicle around) . Our room was nicely appointed, but we could hear every outside noise and bright light from the hallway filtered into the room. The hotel has ear plugs in the hallway, but even with ear plugs the room is not very dark.
Melissa K — Google review
I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms were cleaned and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I really like being here this weekend.
Sandra W — Google review
I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again . The rooms have the charm of a cheap motel with the downtown price ! The air conditioning unit compressor was beyond loud when it kicked in and out . The bed was very uncomfortable . The toilet paper dispenser was broken , and after all of this, the Place didn’t even offer complementary coffee in the morning! Save your money and go to a cheap motel they have more amenities!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I absolutely loved staying here 2 weeks ago, and will stay here again if we come back to Memphis. We've stayed in a few B&Bs around the US, and I think this one has won first place. Accommodations were very comfortable, beautiful, quite spacious, and C.C. is an excellent chef as well. The breakfast here was delicious every morning. It's a great location as well. No more than 10-15min drive in any direction to all the museums, activities, and restaurants we went to. 10/10 for comfort, price, location, and hospitality.

The James Lee house experience is terrific. Southern charm meets luxurious attention to detail. The house is beautiful but the soul of the house is CC. From home cooked breakfasts, arranging transport, recommending the best restaurants and finally a full southern Sunday lunch… That level of service and care is out of this world. It does not get better than the James Lee house in Memphis.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and to say this was a nice stay is an understatement. Everything about it was amazing. If you are interested in planning a wedding or even to just be an overnight guest here, I just want to give a heads up that they possibly will book guest the same night a wedding is going on. I attended a wedding this past weekend and they have bed and breakfast guest in and out of the house where all the wedding stuff is going on. we were told at 8:26 that we had 15 min to start closing the wedding down because guest were complaining about noise…. which I understand and I would be complaining as a guest as well if I was paying the money to come sleep somewhere and there’s a whole event with a dj going on. which is why I believe the owner should not have allowed guest to even be staying there when there is a whole event booked unless she gave the guest a warning and they were okay with noise, bc any wedding is going to be loud. I don’t think it was fair to start rushing the bride because of your guest that you decided to book knowing there was a wedding. keep in mind, the contract said everything needed to be over by 10. so an hour and a half early is when the bride was told to start ending things, even though she hired vendors to be there til 10, she had to end it earlier because of guest complaining about noise. not to mention, she was able to bring all of her wedding stuff the night before and leave it all there with random guest in and out of the house all night. was a very beautiful wedding and home but unfortunately that ruined me to ever recommend this beautiful home to someone.

Nestled in the heart of the vibrant Beale Street Entertainment District, Hampton Inn & Suites Memphis-Beale Street offers a modern and laid-back retreat for travelers. The hotel provides a range of room and suite options, some with balconies overlooking Beale Street and fully-equipped kitchens. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot breakfast each morning before exploring nearby attractions like the restored 19th-century Orpheum Theatre or taking a short ride to visit Memphis Zoo.
Even though we checked in late, we still treated with excellent service. We had no idea about the events going on this weekend but when we got to the room we were graciously gifted earplugs. Our morning was the best part of the experience. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the service. Ashley greeted everyone with a smile. She helped a man in a wheelchair get his breakfast, helped kids get juice(even put the lid on when a kid asked for help), and checked in on everyone to make sure they were all good. She called everyone king and queen, but I hope she knows how much a queen she is!

Great location! Was very quiet even though they let you know it may not be. We were able to walk almost everywhere except Graceland. The staff was very very friendly and personable. We were always greeted even if they were assisting someone else no matter what time it was. The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job keeping things stocked. There were a couple of mechanical issues that couldn't be helped but those things happen and it had no effect on our stay. If I come back this is where I'm staying. They also have convenient paid parking.

I am sure staying here to party is a good time. We were staying one night as we passed through, got in late and couldn’t get to the hotel because all the streets were blocked off. Total mess. Other than that the hotel was decent, loud from the street party but they provide ear plugs. The morning breakfast service was the highlight! Ashley! This beautiful woman was hustling! Smiling! Greeting everyone, making sure everyone had what they needed! Give this woman a raise!

FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed here on our vacation for one night! It is right next to Beale Street! The hotel even tells you if you don’t want to hear music all night, this isn’t the place for you! We had complementary ear plugs in our room, but we were on the 6th floor and really didn’t hear any loud noise! John at the front desk was just amazing!!!! Any info you need, he can provide!!!! Every hotel needs a John at their front desk! At the complimentary breakfast, Ashley was fabulous! She was cheerful and very helpful, serving each guest as if they were her family member! And we were eating breakfast around 6:30am. She definitely made our day brighter with her personality and overall demeanor! The amenities are fabulous, the views are beautiful and we will be back to stay here again! John and Ashley, our family appreciates y’all!!!

We were so happy with all the hotel offers including 24 hrs use of the pool! But what stood out the most was Ashley who we met at the morning breakfast buffet. Her personality and her attentiveness to looking after hotel guest was top notch. This hotel is lucky to have a awesome employee who cares enough to make the guests feel welcome. We stayed at different Hampton Inns on a trip to Graceland-the other hotels were okay but this one was by far our favorite!🙂

Sharon and Amy at the front desk took amazing care of us they were warm, professional, and made us feel immediately welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were perfect for a great night’s sleep big, soft, and paired with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was good size with a large walk-in shower, which was a nice touch. The highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast. Ashley and the rest of the breakfast team went above and beyond! Ashley’s friendliness, energy, and genuine care for the guests made every morning enjoyable. The breakfast area was spotless and continuously restocked, and while the breakfast is complimentary, you can truly see the pride and effort they put into it. Parking was convenient attached directly to the hotel, so no worries about the weather. There is a small fee $20.00 but the convenience is well worth it. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. I highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Beale Street. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly located right in the heart of the action.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Beale Street. The location is perfect — right in the middle of everything but still quiet and comfortable inside. The room was clean, the bed was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was good, and the lobby area was inviting. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Memphis.

The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the indoor pool. Breakfast was different each day. Ashley at the hotel cafe was amazingly pleasant, professional, courteous & entertaining! She's a TRUE KEEPER!

Located in the heart of downtown Memphis, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Memphis Downtown is a great-value family hotel offering modern rooms and suites with vibrant accent walls and comfortable beds. Just a minute's walk from Beale Street in the historic district, this brand new property boasts an indoor pool, gym, free breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi. Guests have praised its cleanliness, convenient location near downtown attractions, and helpful staff.
The hotel itself is excellent. Staff was accommodating, and breakfast was plentiful. Rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is a bit from the action but within walking distance of all the Beale street attractions without the Beale street prices. We would definitely stay here again.

Did the job. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The elevators kept going out unfortunately. We couldn’t adjust the thermostat which ended up being fine. The TV had a screen within the screen we couldn’t get out of from the previous guest which was annoying. Staff was accommodating to an early check in despite changes in plans. The only really bad thing was people drag racing (it sounded like) on the main road in the middle of the night. Not their fault, but it kept us up.
Jessica E — Google review
I’ve been really impressed with the staff here. From check-in, they remembered that I have a prosthetic leg and have gone out of their way to check in with me—not in a generic “you doing okay?” kind of way, but with sincere care and thoughtfulness. It’s those small moments of genuine attention that really make a stay stand out. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, but it’s the people who make it exceptional.
Derek G — Google review
The location is great. The hotel itself is clean but the smell of sewer comes in through the ac and it's gross. The T.V kept muting itself to the point that I had to unplug the entire hookup to reboot it, then it worked like a charm. The elevator went out once during our stay and we were on the top floor 🤯 I tried to ask the housekeeping staff that was on the floor at the time when it'd be repaired but they didn't speak English. Also no one at the front desk answered the phone the entire time the elevator was out of service, I called from the room and my cell. Outside of that debacle I'd stay here again but I'd stay on the back side... away from the street. (Intersection and smell)
Mz Y — Google review
Clean! Smells great, room is well dusted. Floors are clean. This is probably the cleanest hotel shower I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying A LOT. Very comfortable beds.

Room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Great location between Sun Studios and Beale Street. Friendly staff, very efficient. Breakfast wasn't great. Food was good but really uncomfortable using plastic cutlery. All utensils were plastic which isn't great.
Tara H — Google review
The room was really nice. Only negative thing is that the elevator went out several times and we had to take the stairs. And we were on the 4th floor. 😢. The location was good. The breakfast was good. Overall things were good. The employees were nice.
Virgenea S — Google review
Check in could be smoother. They over verify. Rooms are great and great amenities. My kids loved the pool and weight room. I’d recommend this place just bring a backup payment method and id because they are strict even for members.

Hotel Indigo Memphis Downtown, an IHG Hotel is a laid-back and pet-friendly accommodation located in the heart of Memphis on BB King Blvd. The hotel's design pays homage to the city's musical soul with old-school jukeboxes and colorful memorabilia celebrating blues culture. With 118 rooms featuring hardwood floors, spa-styled showers, and artistic nods to the city's heritage, guests can experience Memphis like a local.
Stay date 7/10/25 - Property is on a one way street so had to navigate around the block but overall it was easy to find. It's a city building with parking garage on the first few floors so the building seems "city worn". Parking area was very easy to access and seemed pretty safe as it is a garage. Check in was efficient and the staff that we encountered were all friendly and polite. Special thanks to the front desk staff as they were all very nice - and especially Brian and front desk clerk as they were extremely nice. The lobby area is cute, small, clean, well appointed and overall quite nice. The room (220) was medium size, clean and seemed to have been recently refurbished. Checkout was seamless and staff were again very nice. There were a few negatives: A glass barn door to the bathroom is not great. No hair dryer or safe in the room. And the elevators were shared with the garage and very worn.
Peters P — Google review
Everything about my stay was seamless—check-in, parking, the service, the room, and every detail in between. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. Zayla, the front desk receptionist, was an absolute ANGEL! She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and truly set the tone for my entire experience. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are unmatched. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Memphis!

Hotel is in a great location, close to alot of restaurants and live music. The room is nice and comfortable, but was not very clean, especially the towels, one had stains, the floors are sticky. Unfortunately they are also out of coffee at 6:00 in the morning, even kuereg pods!! I have stayed in ihg hotels all over the country and have never experienced this. I paid a good amount of money for this hotel and I cant get a clean towel or a cup of coffee. Bummer.
Matt K — Google review
Terrible Experience – Last-Minute Cancellation and No Compensation I had an awful experience with this hotel. They canceled my reservation at the very last minute, just before my arrival, without offering any proper compensation. Instead, they suggested a cheap motel that costs barely half of what I originally paid, which is completely unacceptable. This kind of unprofessional and irresponsible behavior completely ruined my travel plans. I booked well in advance and trusted that the reservation was guaranteed, only to find out that the hotel didn’t honor it. There was no apology, no refund adjustment, and no customer care at all. If you’re considering staying here, think twice. This hotel clearly doesn’t respect its guests or commitments. Absolutely disappointing and not worth the risk.
Mark C — Google review
The front desk attendant did not have a very good attitude. He did not seem eager to please the customer. The room, which was on the 8th floor, had a lot of environmental noise, the pool ,also on the 8th floor, kept making a gurgling sound that kept my spouse awake. Also, the hotel's laundry was either on the same floor or nearby and noise was being made by the machines. I could feel the floor shake on the spin cycle. The room was clean but needed repairs here and there. Only stayed one night.
Jim D — Google review
The only reason two stars are afforded is because the staff was nice and welcoming when I stayed last month. It's the building and the resources that clearly aren't at hotel quality. As a regular IHG traveler, I now think all Indigo locations splash fresh paint and retro wall hangings in supposedly renovated properties, but do not solve underlying structural building issues, rendering them inhospitable. This building in particular has major damage that likely will only get worse. As soon as I arrived, I used the bathroom in the lobby, where both doors did not close at all. The front desk lady kindly stood by so I could go in. I'm no engineer, but it was clear the wall was off angle to cause this. The room wasn't what I would call clean. As noted in other reviews, the furniture wasn't clean, and didn't look comfortable anyway. From the time I stepped into the room, until almost 9 pm, the entire room rattled from their laundry room located on another floor. It was obvious as soon as one steps off the 8th or 9th floor elevator that the laundry room was rattling more than just my room. It was loud and clear. I mentioned this to the front desk, and because I had already unpacked during a long road trip, just wanted to know that laundry wouldn't run overnight. By 8 am the next morning, my room was rattling again from it starting back up. This could also be caused by the building shifting, as there is clearly something off kilter to cause such a massive rattle. Or the laundry machines are terribly broken, and this cheap company won't fix them. The next morning, my shower door would not stay closed, no matter if I laid a towel against it, it just slid back open again. That's how slanted the room is!!! The hotel takes dogs, but there is no place to relieve your dog. The hotel should not welcome dogs if the only spot of grass is a park more than a block away, which is mosquito-ridden and (not to be rude but) completely overridden with unsavory people literally yelling at the trees. Do not go after dark. The location may be near things, but I found no good places to eat. So maybe there's a nicer side of Memphis if you're looking for food that isn't the quality you'd find on a drinking block. Finally, if you park your car, try to park as close to the front door as you can. The garage is sketchy.
Jennifer E — Google review
For the most part my experience here was amazing. The staff were amazing. The room was very clean and I loved the walk in shower. My only 2 disappointments were no mini fridge in the room to have cold drinks, and not including parking into the price of the room. Those are minor things in the large scheme of things however. I would definitely stay here again.
James G — Google review
It seemed a little sketchy when we drove up, but we quickly found out that the parking garage was just around the corner. The garage elevator went straight up to the hotel lobby. The lobby was small, but very clean. They had really cool rock and roll/ blues memorabilia all around. There was also a “snack” area to purchase snacks/ drinks Domonik checked us in and was very helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious, clean, and nicely appointed for a mid range hotel. It had a pool in the inside courtyard. The bathroom was large and well appointed! We were very pleased with our single night here. Check out was easy and getting to the parking lot and getting to the airport the next morning was a breeze. We’ll definitely consider staying here again, especially if it is mainly to get to the airport the next day.

The Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis is a stylish hotel located at the corner of Beale Street and Front Street, offering retro quarters and stunning river views. Situated near the Beale Street Entertainment District and the central Business District, this polished property features 227 guestrooms and suites with oversized windows showcasing city or river vistas. As part of the One Beale development, it will also include residential spaces and various dining options from casual to fine dining.
5 stars across is not usual for me! Jags at the front desk helped me check in and out. She was so nice. I appreciate her! Hotel is clean and feels new. I usually stay at Marriott and Hilton properties and have high status at both. My experience here at the Hyatt Centric was so much better than what I have had at those other brands. My first impression of the pool was that I was not impressed and kind of bummed...looking through the glass doors to the outside area was just, "meh". However, went out there one afternoon with my friends and had a super enjoyable time. I love the shelf in the pool! The hotel is super central to Beale Street! Gus's Chicken is right down the street. Pricey bagel place too ...but croissants are good there. Oh! I hea4d the rooftop bar here at the Centric is great too. I will stay here if I ever return to Memphis!
Kimberly C — Google review
Amazing place to stay. Rooms are fantastic, big, clean, and quiet. The rooftop bar is beautiful as well; I would highly recommend that. And the hotel is so close to everything and a staggering distance from Beale Street. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Ricky H — Google review
Spent the weekend there for a little staycation and we had a great time. Only comment was the fact that we wanted to visit the rooftop lounge and it was being used for a private event. I guess we should have asked. We ended staying in the bar at the lobby where we still had a great time. The bartender offered drink ideas and did not disappoint. Closing time was 10pm. He offered suggestions on where to go close by. We did visit these places and they were great. I general we had a great time. Rooms are clean and updated. Service was great.
Luis G — Google review
The Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis offers a solid day pool pass experience, but timing matters. If you’re looking to snag a lounge chair, arrive early. While there are plenty of upright seats and shaded areas, actual lounge chairs are limited—maybe half a dozen total—so they go fast. Once you’re in, though, it’s a good time. The food holds up well for poolside fare—fresh, satisfying, no corners cut. Drinks are poured strong, and the bartenders keep things moving without letting service slip. No waiting forever for a refill. The crowd varies. Expect a mix of hotel guests and locals marking birthdays or get-togethers. That public-facing mix gives the vibe a little unpredictability, but it’s friendly and upbeat. Music plays, the sun hits just right, and you don’t feel rushed. It’s not a full-scale resort pool, but it delivers what it promises. For a day in the sun with solid service, it’s a worthy choice.
Tony S — Google review
Modern and unique hotel at a perfect location. Easy walk to the action on Beal street but far enough away to be free of the noise at night. Also beautiful views of the Mississippi River and the park across the street is great for a walk or run.
Ed B — Google review
We stayed here in July for two nights. Early check-in was definitely the best part about our stay. We were accommodated and it was greatly appreciated. We checked out at 5am. So it made the price worth it. The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Housekeeping was amazing. The location is perfect!! We walked everywhere. The bed & pool was comfortable. We didn't use the restaurant or bar area. I would recommend this hotel.
D E — Google review
Overall good experience and great service overall. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. The floor in the room didn’t look like it had been mopped for some time and parking to get in can be chaotic. Randy at the valet was great! Very good location near the river and all the Beale street fun.
Gregory A — Google review
Booked through a third party. (They will be getting a review also) Arrived at hotel at check-in and my reservation was canceled 24 minutes before I arrived. Because, they was oversold. I traveled 4 hours and didn't have anywhere to stay. Reservation was made weeks in advance. Hotel staff was completely unhelpful. Only explanation was we oversold and reached out to Booking.com and canceled your reservation. You have to reach out to third party and try and find another hotel and reservation. Staff was very rude about it. Including the management on duty.

Hosted our annual convention here in June 2025. Staff was mostly outstanding in their work and very responsive, particularly banquet staff. This is a large, older convention hotel, but it has been well maintained and nicely updated. While the lobby is predominately glass and very warm in the summer, the meeting and guest rooms had excellent A/C. Conveniently located off the interstate in East Memphis, close to great restaurants. Overall a terrific property. We look forward to returning.

Great front desk staff. The staff of Provisions were friendly every morning and evening for coffee, drinks, and snacks. Very social bar area. Room was clean and comfortable. Only three issues were 1) each time you tried to open the in room fridge it would pull free of the cabinet and onto the floor 2) I 240 is very loud from traffic at night. I was on the 21st floor but still pretty noisy. 3) I tried twice to order room service but did not get an answer either time. I would stay again.

The house keeping service was excellent. But the room is bit smaller than other Hilton hotels. Water was not draining properly through the basin. I had to report about it. Then they came and fixed it. Rest room is small. There was no shower gel, I had to ask for it to refill.

We used to be very happy with this hotel, and have stayed here many times in the past, but things have changed. They've gone politically extreme right-wing. They canceled our reservation and are now sponsoring the 5-month military occupation of Memphis. I will never stay here again. I can not say enough good things about this Memphis Hotel. From the time we checked in with Jeremy at the front desk, whom was so incredibly nice and accommodating, to the nice ladies and gentlemen at the breakfast buffet that did not meet a stranger and held a conversation with me, down to the maintenance engineer, who was a lady I might add, that came in and replaced the air unit for me. Everyone was so kind, greeted you with a smile and was very accommodating and prompt. Also, Linesia at the front desk was so helpful and kind to me and took care of me after I requested a late check out. Clean hotel with nice rooms. The location is good , close to it all and I felt safe the whole time. We will definitely be back for our monthly business trips. They have earned our business!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We just checked in to the Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown and have been so impressed already! I want to give a special shout out to Linesia at the front desk. She was so helpful on the concierge chat before our arrival and continued that same level of service when we arrived. Even with a long line of guests and appearing to be the only one working, she stayed calm, patient, and incredibly professional. Her customer service is top-notch, and she made us feel welcome right away. She also went above and beyond to make sure our check-in was smooth, and I really appreciated her help. On top of that, the hotel itself is beautiful! Our room is spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and the whole property feels very clean and well cared for. From the front desk to The Greyhound restaurant. My stay was pleasant. I like that you can't get into the hotel or elevators unless you have a key. Breakfast was a 7 out of 10 but not bad. Location is perfect. Close enough to walk to everything. Loved that there is a Starbucks on site. Free daily breakfast. Rooms were very spacious. We had a Loft room. Loved the set up. Plenty of space. Staff were fantastic. They really took care of us and our needs. I will definitely return. Our stay was very quiet. Rooms were clean and stocked. Great view of the water and buildings.

Nice place. Would stay there again. It's a historic old hotel that's been remodeled. Nice decor. Only 2 small elevators, and 1 wasn't working for our stay, so there was somewhat of a wait. The rooms were spacious and clean - not new rooms, but not too old either. Everyone was very nice, particularly the front desk and valet. The drawback about being in the City is that they don't have their own garage, and you pretty much have to use valet (another charge). You can park somewhere else on your own, but I have the sense that you don't necessarily want to be walking around the City after dark. The hotel is a locked building and you need your keycard to enter. We were never concerned for our safety. Typical and adequate hotel breakfast (eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles and bread). I would recommend staying there.

Nice hotel and the staff were amazing. Unfortunately, I got sick while on a business trip and the staff were super attentive and helpful. They even followed up after I got home to make sure I was ok. Kind staff, cared for me like family!

The staff need a serious attitude adjustment. My mother stayed here for a week and not only faced poor behavior, but also saw cockroaches there. After already staying here for a week, my mother was followed by a security guard into the hotel and was told that she could not use a tissue to wipe her eyes. “You can’t just walk up in here. Let’s go on the street.” is what the security guard said to her. This is after he has seen her repeatedly leave and re-enter the hotel for the past week. During her stay, she even gave him an extra coffee that she recieved from Starbucks. I mean, you have seen this woman for a whole week and then treat her like a homeless person? He then proceeded to demand for her hotel key after she refused to go outside onto the street. Even after showing her key, he followed her to the dining area and loudly exclaimed that “she cannot come in her and blow her nose.” and repeated that line to the front desk, when she was simply wiping her eyes due to allergies. I was horrified when she told me about her experience at this place. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and borderline harassment. Berating and following my mother for using a tissue is ridiculous and absurd. If you are considering staying here, please rethink that decision, especially if you have older parents or are of an older age yourself because they do not respect elders here.

Lovely stay in the Caption. The hotel was very welcoming with friendly check in staff. The rooms were spacious clean and full of fun decoration and furniture. Unfortunately the "chill out" bar area wasn't open at any point during our stay which would have been nice.

The bed was comfortable, the room was pretty clean and the hotel is new. Service is absolutely horrible, especially the valet. The valet desk is inside and they keep their backs turned to the street so they have no clue if there are cars needing a valet. They can't get the texting system right, then blame you when you didn't get the text. As for the front desk, the check in is at the centric, caption doesn't have a front desk. This is not well marked at all and when I mentioned that, I was woefully ignored. I requested a quiet room and got one right around the corner from the elevators and right across from the ice dispenser. We are in the rooftop bar and it took 45 minutes to get our food. The room air conditioner would make a loud click noise whenever the fan turned on and off which kept waking up up. The decorations are cute but very impractical. There is only a phone charging outlet on one side of the king bed. I'd definitely stay elsewhere next time.

Great hotel, tricky parking. We circled the block 4 times before a space opened up in front, and decided to valet because by then it was *late.* Breakfast (not included) was awesome, we had the the avocado toast 2-ways (with truffle oil) and the biscuits and gravy. Five stars on service there...Getting the car out...that took over 40 minutes, so three stars on service there. The people were great and they were hustling, it wasn't their fault. They just weren't staffed for the checkout rush, when the hotel is situated such that you're almost forced to valet unless you really know the area. So plan way ahead to get your car out.

Both my husband and I have recently stayed at the Caption by Hyatt Memphis, booking for which had been made by NAAR Tour Operator. I would like to bring to your attention of my terrible experience during our stay; upon check in I asked the reception if I had to ask for housekeeping, (due to the fact that other hotels in USA have always pointed out this option), to which I was given a negative reply. On my return to the room on first day in the afternoon, I saw that the room had not been touched, so I personally went down to the reception, and asked staff to please send housekeeping staff, I also mentioned that the phone in the room was not connected. I was told that they usually do housekeeping after 2 days (????) but would send someone to clean to room and that a “technician” would come to fix the phone. After 3 hours, my husband and I went out to dinner and upon our return no housekeeper and no technician!! On my return to the room on the second day in the afternoon, again the room had not been touched. Again I went down to the reception, only to hear that “we do housekeeping only after 3 days” (??????), which I find very strange and also misleading since I was told when I checked in that is was done daily. I demanded that at least they deliver clean towels and collect the trash. This was done within 15 minutes. I find this problem quite annoying, also due to the fact that no housekeeping not only meant no cleaning of the bathroom (which is rather unsettling for a hotel) and change of towel, but also meant no refill of complimentary tee & coffee in the room, and obviously no remaking the bed. I have informed the travel agency in Italy of this incident. I would like to point out the a Manager should instruct staff to give full information upon check-in on all services provided and not provided; in addition staff at reception desk always seem to be on the phone when a person is in front of them; I am used to the fact that reception staff generally put down the phone and give attention to the guest. Personally I would not recommend the Caption by Hyatt Hotel at all.

We really like this hotel close to everything and the suites are nice and spacious with a nice balcony. The only issue is valet.. they were really backed up and we didn’t receive our valet text until the next day which was our checkout date, and it took forever to get our car but the valet team was working hard, they just need more workers.

at Location, Nice Rooms… But Shady Billing Practices Ruined It We started our Make-A-Wish trip at the Hyatt Caption on 8/3/25 — which also happened to be my anniversary. A card was already on file for our room accommodations, covered by Make-A-Wish. We stayed in the Caption side with 2 beds and were told they needed a physical card for “incidentals.” Fine. What wasn’t fine was finding a nearly $145 charge for that incidental hold — almost triple what it should have been. Before we could even get our car at checkout, I had to pay what I assumed was just valet parking ($30 — fine again). But instead, they also charged $130+ to my Make-A-Wish card for the room accommodations — charges that should have gone to the original card on file. I called to fix it, and while they processed a refund, I was told it might not hit until the end of my daughter’s wish trip. Today, 8/10/25, I learn the incidental fee for one night in Caption should have only been $50. So why was my husband’s card charged nearly triple that amount? The hotel itself was in a great location and the rooms were nice — but the customer service and billing practices felt scummy, like they were trying to wring every last cent out of us. This was the start of a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my sick child, and they still found a way to make it stressful. If our coordinator hadn’t rebooked us here, I would never have chosen this property, and I certainly won’t return.

First off... This isn't a completely negative review, alot of good things on this property and the location cannot be beat. If you're hanging around Beale St, or have an event at the FedEx forum. This is a few blocks, perfect location!! A little tip that I just happened to figure out. They say parking is 40/day. A little steep but whatever. There is a parking garage DIRECTLY across the street 12 bucks a day. I had requested early check in, now this is NOT guaranteed and I understood that. We arrived 30 minutes before our 4pm check-in time. She said. Our room wasn't ready yet, confirmed my cell number and said we'll text as soon as it's ready. 1hr and 10 minutes later (40 minutes) past our check-in time now I go to the desk and the girl said ohh yes your room is ready. Pretty frustrating to be honest and I'm very easy going. Had I not gone to the desk we would have still been sitting there. Not fun after an 8 hr drive. Outside of that our stay was fabulous!

Right at the edge of the Beale St entertainment district, this newly renovated hotel was spacious, comfy, and quiet. Pay attention to the parking valet, as we think they took our Toyota RAV4 out for a 100-mi joy ride.

Talbot Heirs Guesthouse is a charming and trendy accommodation located in the heart of downtown Memphis. The guesthouse offers individually decorated suites with full kitchens, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary breakfast items. The spacious rooms feature a seating area, queen size bed, cable TV, and a homely atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. Despite its unassuming exterior, the guesthouse surprises visitors with its boutique feel and exceptional cleanliness.
Every room has a different theme highlighting Memphis, all unique unto themselves. Cozy while spacious and clean, basically a furnished apartment with ample kitchen space. One thing- the entrance is tricky to find. I'd definitely book a room there anytime. And the staff is amazing:)

Very fortunate to stay several days with extended family for a wedding. Rooms are all unique with a creative sense of local style. Staff went out of their way to assure everything went as planned. In the heart of downtown Memphis which make walking to all the local sites. Well worth trying all the different and unique rooms.

Our home away from home when celebrating our wedding anniversary during the Beale Street Music Festival! Wonderful owners and staff who have become great friends over the years! Can't say enough about how convenient the hotel is located in the Heart of Memphis! Across the street from the Peabody, next door to the Flying Fish and walking distance to Beale Street, Lorraine Motel/Civil Rights Museum, trolley cars, etc! The units are beautifully decorated and Comfortable with kitchens that have EVERYTHING you'll need! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You'll love Jerry and Sharon!

A must-go in Memphis! Awesome guesthouse, between Beale street and Memphis Main st. The room was really big, with a fully furnished kitchen and a makeup/studio room. Everything in the fridge, juice milk etc., available for free, including cereals and bars. In practice, I had breakfast with what the property put at my disposal. The owners are very friendly and available too. I really appreciate all the directions and suggestions that Robert gave to me.

This is a wonderful family - run guesthouse directly across the street of the Peabody Hotel. You can't beat the value and location. Large, clean apartment style lodging with classic Southern style decor, as well as Memphis style flair. It's not a hotel, so there is no room 24 service or concierge. There is daily cleaning service. Likewise, the management will provide basic snacks, drinks like coffee, milk, and OJ. There is cable TV in each room. Depending on which room you get there may be ambient noise from the street, but it's not bad at all

The definition of a hidden gem! Tom goes out of his way to make sure you have a 5 star experience. The rooms are large and comfy. The hotel itself is creative and unique with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. You won't find a better place in a better spot! Our stay was in March 2016.

I recently had a conference in Memphis and when I called the hotel that our company had pre-negotiated rate with to try and extend my stay, they we're unwilling to honor that rate.......So I called Talbot Heirs and spoke with Sharon, nice lady with a cordial manner, she was accommodating and I booked with her. Upon arriving, my uber driver had some difficulty locating the front entrance, I called Sharon, she came out to the front and found us!!!.....Showed me to my room, explained everything to me. The rooms are clean with nicely renovated bathrooms, but still with some historic charm and at literally half the price of other hotels in the area. I would have stayed there for the week if it was up to me. Very happy with Sharon and Talbot Heirs! Give them a try!

Sep 2014: The ONLY place to stay when visiting Memphis! Do not let the exterior fool you....you'll be WOWED and pleased with the spacious, comfy, and brightly colored rooms once you're inside. A very boutique feel without the boutique price. It's centrally located right across the street from the famous Peabody Hotel, and within a short walking distance to Beale Street and the trolley line. The only thing that tops the rooms and the prime location are the proprietors themselves. Tom (who is warm, folksy, and oozing with his unique blend of southern charm) greeted us on the street when we arrived, helped us to our room with our luggage, and personally drove with us to the garage around the corner to assist with parking. In hindsight, we realize we could have stayed an extra day or two in Memphis just to hangout in our balconied room and to spend more time chatting with Tom. I fully agree with all the sentiments expressed in the 5-star ratings that precede mine. Don't visit Memphis unless you can get a room at the Talbot Heirs Guesthouse!

So we have been Bonfoy members for many years and actually reached out directly to try to find a hotel to accommodate us with the parking situation being that we are pulling a very large trailer. After the search for multiple hotels, we called directly to the Sheridan and they were able to accommodate us. upon arrival, Michael from the valet service medicine in a parking lot helped us park our trailer in a secure location. We cannot express how thankful we were and how professional Michael was and accommodating. The hotel was. Then upon entry to the hotel, we cannot believe for the great rate how beautiful the hotel was the bar the food everything that we decided to book an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. If you were in the downtown area, this is definitely a place to stay.

My overall experience at Sheraton Memphis downtown hotel was not very enjoying. Coming in at first the hotel looked very clean and luxurious with a wide open feel. The room was nice and clean too. But after further inspection you could find the facility to be old and outdated with many facilities like the pool being closed and the air conditioner and elevators often going out of function. The vending machines did not work but the bright spot was the gym was great, it had a lot of machines to work out and was clean and well maintained. Other minuses were The fact that the breakfast was very limited and the parking was expensive.

My customer service started at the valet station. The entrance was full and he was doing his best to control the situation. I told him that I was here to check in. He directed me to a spot and told me that he didn't know if my room would be available but try at the front desk. When I walked inside, the guy at the front desk was very helpful, well mannered, just an overall nice guy. He got my room situation together and redirected me back to the guy outside for parking. The guy helped me gather my things and parked my car... From start to finish... Easy peezy...

I travel quite a bit, both domestically and internationally. First time ever in my travel experience that, when requesting the availability of a room in the afternoon, I was told I need to pay a $50 early arrival fee. Absolutely no effort to check and see if any rooms were unoccupied and available.- just a greedy effort to try to pad the bill. My daughter goes to college in Memphis, and I travel here multiple times a year to visit her. This Sheraton has just lost my business for good.

We had a great stay. The front desk guy (sorry I didn't get his name) was so nice and accommodating making the check in easy. Our room had a beautiful view of Memphis. We are sorry that it was only for a night. The rooms are a bit dated but ours was clean, comfy bed and a cold ac. That's all I ever need from a hotel room. The bartender and staff were fun and very informative about local things. I recommend staying here.

This was the worst experience of my life. First of all the manager, Ming Xie mentioned charging me a 50.00 fee for early check in. Charged my credit card 100.00 when my stay is not even 24 hours. (The incidental fees start at 25.00, no higher than 75.00) I offered to pay cash for the incidentals, she refused to accept. The toilet in the restroom is malfunctioning. Her attitude and professionalism is very demeaning and very disrespectful. I am Marriott member for over 20 years and should not have been treated so poorly. I will never book this hotel ever in life and I will not recommend it to anyone, not even my enemies.
Shirley G — Google review
Rooms are clean. Little bit of maintenance required, tightening up thermostat fixtures, ect. Main doors out of service the entire 5 day stay. One elevator out of service and another one didn't actually stop at the floor, as it was about 10 inches above the hallway floor. Had to help a couple people step down, while others held the doors open. Thankfully, I only saw that happen only once. No free parking on the property, waiting on valet was a slight inconvenience. Will explore other options in the future.

I recently stayed at this location and I travel for work 75+ nights a year. I stay 95% of my nights with Marriott brands and I’m a Titanium Member with them., including Sheraton. I was charged a false $250 smoking fee. I do not smoke or vape any product. It took me close to 25 days with multiple attempts of checking with the front desk during my stay and phone calls post my stay, to even get a manager, Ming, on the phone and was then immediately denied my request to remove it. I’m still currently disputing this charge but I DO NOT recommend staying here. In my 7 years of work travel this is the first I’ve come across this, as I do not smoke or vape any product. Upon some research these in room “detectors” are marketed to hotels as profit markers and are extremely inaccurate and can trigger with hot steam from a shower and hair spray products. I again DO NOT recommend this property and unless I receive my refund for this false charge, I will be exploring moving my entire 75+ nights a year travel to Hilton. This is on you Ming and Sheraton Memphis to make it right.

The hotel offers spacious two-room suites with complimentary breakfast and evening snacks. It features an indoor pool, arcade, fitness classes, and recreational facilities. Conveniently located near attractions like Dixon Gallery and Gardens and Shelby Farms Park, the hotel also houses the popular Grisantis Italian restaurant.
We had to stay in a hotel for a few days because of a renovation going on in our house. We've stayed at this hotel before and we liked it. We also liked it this time. The rooms are nice, we enjoy the social hour in the evening and the breakfast in the morning.

Our room was spacious but the main TV didn't work. The pool was very crowded and it's not during the night at like 8 to 10 pm. The food of course was amazing. The sundry shop has an amazing selection of snacks to choose from. Not an alcoholic but happy hour was amazing as well as the food they serve during Happy hour. But there is too much noise and I barely got sleep last night. When I stayed there was a lot of cop cars, 1 fire truck and ambulance which blocked the awning. Just stay at the hotel next door. Also if you hate loud noises. Don't stay here. Last, the lobby is very huge and comfy which makes it feel like home.

I choose to only stay at Embassy suites hotel when I have the choice. This hotel does NOT meet Hilton standards. Carpet in room was filthy and sticky. Pull out sofa bed mattress was ripped opened. Bathroom had holes in walls and mold. Tv/phone did not work in living area. Asked for sheets and told to come get them at desk. Reported issues and only response was "sorry" no fix. Charge $10 to park in their parking lot.

The hotel was very nice and located in a safe area. Our room was really nice. There are a lot of restaurants around the property. Mostly business and FedEx people staying at the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Not really a dog friendly property. We travel a lot and we have never seen every employee so miserable and didn’t want to be there. The security person driving around is a joke.
Tammy O — Google review
If Embassy Suites Germantown is what Hilton considers “hospitality,” then standards have truly hit rock bottom—somewhere between the broken elevator and the pile of used towels in the hallway. We stayed Monday through Thursday (June 2-6) . Housekeeping never arrived—not once. No trash service, no fresh towels, no sign anyone cared. After waiting each day, we finally gave up and dragged our wet towels and garbage into the hallway ourselves, hoping that might spark some attention. It didn’t. Worse? When we asked for towels, we were told to come get them ourselves from the front desk—which meant hauling them across the hotel because the elevator on our end was out of service. No signs. No warnings. Just a dead elevator and a lobby full of confused guests pressing a button for an elevator that never arrived. Also: _ No Shampoo, Conditioner or Body Wash. – The shower cut off mid-use like it was rationing water. – The TV flickered constantly like it was broadcasting from 1993. – The general atmosphere felt more like a neglected dorm than a Hilton property. This hotel wasn’t just understaffed—it felt abandoned. And while the location might say "Germantown," the service says "ghost town." Do better, Hilton. This was embarrassing.

It is set up like every other Embassy Suites, and it's our preferred chain because the rooms are usually comfy and the breakfast is a delight. We stayed in May on a holiday wknd. My husband called to ask about breakfast hours. Despite the website and sign in front of the dining area stating 630am, man on the phone said 6am even on Memorial Day. But at 6am the dining area wasn't ready, food wasn't placed, and staff didn't even acknowledge we were there. I finally went to front desk and the gal said omelette kitchen is run by separate Mgr, and that it would open at 6:30 because of the holiday, completely opposite of what we'd been told less than 24 hrs earlier. Gal making omelets didn't seem to happy to be there even though our orders were simple and we tried to express gratitude for the food. The parking lot was very full, and the main entrance was blocked by several standing cars and what looked like a police or security vehicle. I checked in electronically when the app offered it, but even our arrival at 8pm my key wasn't ready. We had to go in and she had to manually create door keys, which we'd wanted to avoid so we could get our kids to bed asap. Our room was sadly amidst a large party of family or friend group who were very loud. They played loud thumping music in their room until after 2am. Calling on it seemed futile at that point considering the overall behavior we'd seen from other guests that evening. We came to this E.S. because it was supposedly on the safer and nicer part of town. But next time we drive through here, we will avoid this location. It wasn't worth the price we paid. The front staff were nice enough, but they also gave faulty info about the breakfast time (which affected our leave time for an 8 hr drive) and didn't seem to have good control on the goings on outside or inside.
Ashley B — Google review
Does not measure up to all the other Embassy Suites I've visited. The breakfast did not have as many options. I chose my room in the app, but it was changed upon arrival. The shower was barely warm. The digital key did not work. The phone in the room did not work. The microwave was under the counter and not near a plug. I had to take it out and put it on the table in order to plug it up and use it. We were texted upon arrival to welcome us and see if there were any issues.

I wasn't told that rooms are cleaned every other day. I use clean towels daily. Didn't receive a receipt of my stay, I thought it would be emailed but it wasn't. Happy hour was good!

I absolutely love staying at the Hilton DoubleTree! I’ve been coming here once a month for the past year, and it’s always the perfect staycation. The location is amazing — so close to everything I need (shopping, cute cafes, and fun spots to explore!). It’s the ideal escape when I just need to relax and treat myself. The hotel itself is beautiful, cozy, and always spotless. But what really makes it stand out is the amazing staff! They are super friendly and always make me feel so welcomed. From the warm cookies at check-in (YUM) to the little touches that make me feel special, they really know how to make a guest feel pampered. I also feel so safe here, which is so important to me. I always feel at ease when I’m staying solo — the security is great, and the staff is always on top of things. I’ve never had any issues, and that peace of mind means everything.Honestly, if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or just a convenient, worry-free place to stay, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s been perfect for me every single time 10/10!

Conveniently located. Feels like a nice safe area. Swimming pool is a really neat area. No complementary breakfast is included. Room we stayed in has a musty smell. A number of minor damages that should be repaired. Mostly in the bathroom with the plumbing. Find places to stay in, but nothing great. I probably would’ve given it a 3 1/2 star if I could. Their complementary cookies are very good

Nice location, good places to eat within walking distance, my room wasn’t the cleanest but after discussing it with front desk they upgraded me to suite and my stay became much better. Although they were having issues with the elevator so guest had to use the service elevator for employees. Someone got stuck in the elevator but not for long and they have glass elevator so it worked out fine, no harm was done . The front desk staff were nice and courteous, and accommodating

You get what you pay for. It was a fine experience. I think only two of the three elevators were functioning so we had to wait for those nearly every time. On the last night, we found a live cockroach in our room which wasn’t ideal, but our room seemed clean other than that. The attached restaurant was ridiculously overpriced so we didn’t even bother. The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly.

For service I'm giving a one star simply because one of their female housekeepers went in my room and stole my black JBL headphones. I didn't even request service so she had absolutely no business in my room. I contacted the hotel and was directed to speak with to the housekeeping manager, who initially began to look into the situation and acted as if she were handling it but I never got a resolution to the problem and, not even a follow up. I'm sure she still has her job.

We stayed there over the holiday weekend, it was a RIP trip for my nephew. Only reason I’m bringing this up is because when I booked my reservation through their customer service he asked me for the reason for my stay and I told him. You would think so they were noisy enough to ask why you’re there then show some condolences. Second, the room service was horrible. TV only got a couple of channels when I called front desk she said I’ll send up engineer. No one came. And at the very least for the money they charge there’s no complimentary breakfast. It’s a restaurant in the lobby that serves buffet breakfast that the food was cold at $17.99 a person. I would not recommend this hotel. There was no window view.

Normally I'm not a fan of Doubletree hotels, but this one is great. It's right in the middle of a lot of good places to eat, it has a decent gym, great pool, and super friendly staff. The rooms were recently updated from what I can tell and they were clean. The Internet is a little slow but far better than most hotels I've stayed at. Overall a great stay, I'll stay here again next time I'm in Memphis.

Do not stay here. This property has gone down over the past year. It used to be nice but now it’s unkept. Bath tub was dirty with backfill while in the shower. Elevators down.. and front desk staff are incompetent. Me and my husband checked out early, as I informed the front desk that we would not be staying another 2 nights. The manager/ supervisor or whoever she was said “not a problem”. Yet, my bank card was charged the entire stay. It’s extremely difficult to get someone on the line to fix this issue, other than corporate, who refers the case back to them. It’s not rocket science. Refund the money! This is the second time they have took money and not refunded it. The first time I changed my card upon arrival but both cards were charged. This hotel needs someone responsible to manage it… will not be staying here again.

I want to give a big shoutout to Chef Zee for making the best cinnamon rolls and breakfast I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn! The quality, freshness, and attention to detail truly stood out. I’ve stayed at several Holiday Inns recently, including locations in Merrillville (IN), Detroit, and Mount Sterling (KY), but I’ve never seen this much turnout or energy at breakfast anywhere else. Chef Zee’s warm hospitality and delicious food made the morning feel special. The cinnamon rolls alone were worth waking up early for! 🍴👏 Thank you for setting such a high standard and creating such a great start to the day. Keep up the amazing work!

When I first walked in, I noticed crumbs and debris all over the floor, which immediately told me the room hadn’t been vacuumed properly. I had to call the front desk just to have someone come up and clean, which honestly shouldn’t happen at a brand like this. Then came the bathroom situation. When I took a shower, the water started pooling around my feet and wouldn’t drain, which means the plumbing clearly hasn’t been maintained. On top of that, the tub itself looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in a while — there was visible dirt and buildup. That alone made it hard to feel clean or comfortable using it. It’s disappointing because the hotel actually has nice, modern furniture and the potential to be a really solid spot. But the upkeep and attention to detail are slipping. The cleaning team needs to do a much more thorough job — vacuuming after every guest, sanitizing the tub and sink properly, and double-checking the floors and bathroom before marking a room “ready.” The management should also have maintenance check the drains and plumbing to make sure water isn’t backing up like that. For the price being charged, guests should feel confident they’re getting a clean and well cared-for room — the kind of standard that the Holiday Inn name is supposed to represent. I really hope the team takes this feedback seriously because I’d love to see this location get on the level it needs to be.

I enjoyed my stay at this location. The staff is so friendly as well. Mrs Zee adds such a friendly presence to the morning. She works hard to make sure the breakfast is hot, fresh, and tasty. Every time. I wish all Holiday Inns had people like her there. Thank you for making my stay better!

My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Keyondra (if I’m spelling her name correctly) is a valuable asset to this hotel. She treats her customers with respect, kindness and compassion. Her spirit shines brightly which is a wonderful feeling when visiting a new town. This is my first time visiting Memphis and I certainly will consider staying at this location again.

Great place to stay if you don’t want to be downtown. Close to uber to Beale Street so you don’t have to worry about driving after dinner. Breakfast is always great and the staff was very helpful. We had an issue when we first got there and they had it resolved within minutes.

This place was a BLESSING. Our reason for our stay was to attend a funeral. The location was PERFECT! I'm kind of boozy poor. But before I made reservations at HI Express I was eyeing another location and brand but the hotel was sold out! But angels led me to this hotel and ya'll Holiday Inn asked me the reason of my stay! Ya'll H.I. lowered my RATE because of bereavement!! My Po boozy self was dancing in my head! The visit was sad but so THANKFUL TO HOLIDAY INN MEMPHIS MEDICAL DISTRICT. THANK YOU I REALLY APPRECIATE THE RATE THE CLEANLINESS THE VERY VERY KIND STAFF. YA'LL THE ROOM INCLUDED A MICROWAVE AND A LARGE SMALL FRIDGE. THOSE ITEMS HELPED MAKE OUR STAY THAT MUCH BETTER.

First and foremost, the staff at this location are some of the most pleasant and helpful I have encountered. I stay at many hotels for work and this hotel has some of the best breakfast. Ms. Zee puts a lot of work and care into ensuring her breakfast is hot and ready for all of the guests. Her cinnamon rolls are arguably some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend staying here while in Memphis!

Located in the Cordova district, Hyatt Place Memphis/Wolfchase Galleria is a modern hotel catering to the needs of today's travelers. The spacious guestrooms feature amenities such as a 42-inch HDTV, Hyatt Grand Bed, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Situated near Wolfchase Galleria shopping mall and Bartlett suburb, this hotel offers easy access to dining options and attractions.
Highly recommend! Location is great. Multiple restaurants near by, plenty of parking and the staff was very pleasant. Was a little nervous about location, but never felt unsafe. Very clean, rooms were very spacious! Had a king bed with sofabed for our 13 yo. Enough of a divider for privacy, plenty of nightstands, tables, closet, big bathroom counter with sink and small desk? area near front door. Only negative would be a tiny shower/ toilet area, but wouldn’t discourage me. The bed was very soft, soft pillows and we slept like a baby. Breakfast was great. Not a ton of options, but plenty and all delicious. There was fruit, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, muffins, sausage links, oatmeal, bread and more. Was sad we only spent one night. We will be back!

Loved everything about our stay here! Customer service - Friendly staff w/positive attitudes whenever I had a question or needed something. Great variety of breakfast items. Something for everyone! Clean! Of course the pool was the favorite part for the kids. This hotel is definitely my go to hotel if/when I ever return to Memphis.

We got this room for one night and honestly we should have stayed longer but we only wanted to shower and sleep. The room was extra spacious very clean and also smelled really clean. My guy is huge but we both had plenty of room on the bed which is always a plus. We would definitely be returning for a longer stay.

This hotel is great. I love the location especially with the stores around. Love that Target is very close. The rooms are perfect for a family of 5 or 6. Very clean and spacious. My kids enjoyed their stay. Great breakfast too. Different options and it varies from day to day. Perfect when you have kids to feed and they can pick what they want to eat. If I go back to Memphis, I'm definitely staying here again!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Room had old dirty, smelly carpet. Bathroom sink was clogged up drain line slow, bed was very uncomfortable and mattress collapsed on sides and middle of bed. The toilet ran continuously. When promised a new room the next day because of unacceptable conditions, the service desk attendant told us that next morning that a room was being cleaned and prepared, and would be available after 2 p.m. My husband and I left the hotel for a few hours. When we returned, we checked with the front desk to see if our new room was available. A different front desk attendant told us they reserved the room they promised us, and had no other rooms available. THIS IS NOT THE HYATT ESTABLISHMENT I would recommend for your stay.

Rooms are spacious, pool is clean and also go up to 6ft which was a plus! They are super nice when it comes to checking out late if needed or checking in early if available! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the ant infestation! Ants everywhere, bathroom sink, mini bar, and even in the bed! I woke up to a couple crawling on me! Besides that, it was a nice stay I planned on staying another night but when I told the manager about the ants, he thanked me but it was like he already knew! Didn't offer a discounted night, room switch or nothing so I booked a room across at the marriott for my last night!

Pleasantly surprised with how nice this Marriott is. Every one we stayed on our road trip has been nice and comfortable. You can’t go wrong with Marriott! The location is great, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I asked the lady at the front desk where to eat and she gave me a list of nearby restaurants. She even asked me what we were wanting. We said pizza and she recommended Aldo’s Pizza and Pies and they will sell by the slice. We loved their NY style pizza and everything was made fresh. We had a nice walk there from our hotel. Yes there are homeless people walking around but it’s not bad. Plenty of police driving around or on horseback so that made us feel safe. Downtown is very clean and charming. Just keep in mind it is downtown so you’ll have to be on the alert but that’s city life. We just made sure we were back to our hotel before night. If you don’t like the extra security, then stay outside the city. Their front door is located on the downtown side and you get back in using your key card. To check into the hotel, you drive in the back where the valet is and the valet is expensive but worth the security. You walk straight into the lobby and are greeted by the friendly people checking you in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had nice quiet sleep. If your a light sleeper, I suggest getting a sound box but we had no problems. Overall we’re very happy and would stay here again.

TLDR: Bedbugs I used my Marriott points to book this place for the weekend so I and my parents could have a comfortable place to stay during a fourth of July trip (my mother is recovering from an injury and having trouble with mobility so I wanted the accommodations to be right for that.) We had to change rooms because the shower did not work, the vallet lost the car and spent almost a half hour getting it one time, and worst of all, we got home to find bed bug bites on our legs! We stayed in no other hotels so the room they swapped us to (on the top floor no less) must have had bed bugs. This is unacceptable and I'll be honest, the second time I've gotten bed bugs on a Marriott property. The track record is usually good and the service is great at every place I've stayed including this one but I don't like the increasing risk of bed bug bites.

The hot tub is great and worth the price of admission. I could quibble on this or that shortcoming or lack of the welcoming hospitality but as far as a solid value for a hotel id recommend.

I used the valet while I stayed at this hotel. They not only parked my car not in the valet lot but they parked my car illegally. I now have a parking ticket. They refused to help me and hung up on me when I called them. I would not stay here again.

If the Valet is incapable of driving my car and I have to Valet my own vehicle, I should not be paying full price for parking. Hire people who can drive a stick or charge less for parking.

Listen up Staybridge folks! The employees at this location should be the standard ALL other hotel employees should adhere to. From our initial phone call on the road to our walk out the side door to leave we were met with super, super service. Everyone was friendly. We had 2 issues in the room that were taken care of in less than five minutes. Breakfast was good, eating area was clean, happy hour was really good. Chef and the manager kept everything hot and fresh and all tables cleaned off and food replenished all the way to the end. Will definitely be referring folks to this hotel. Thanks so much you made this leg of our zgirl’s Road Trip a great one

This is an okay hotel. It is quite dated and desperately in need of renovation. Our room was fine. bed was comfortable. Microwave would only open far enough to heat a cup of coffee as the door hit the wall when opening. Bathtub had big chips missing and the air conditioner couldn't keep up with the outside temperature. The air vent in the bedroom was like a leaf blower to the face. If your a couple and reading this review, grab the side closest to the bathroom. It's still leaf blowing but not as bad as the side closest to the window. Expect to freeze/sweat the entire night. No hot water last morning which was bad due to the sweat/freeze night. Breakfast and managers special in the week evenings were fantastic. Very tasty and service was phenomenal. One of the biggest negatives and safety violations was the broken door handle on floor 2B of the fire door. It's been broken at least several days and should have been a high priority repair. Location is perfect and highly recommend Central BBQ on Poplar St. Get the nachos.

So we just stayed the night for a road trip but Amanda at the front desk so so nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The king bed was a little hard but that’s just me. Otherwise the shower was great and breakfast was pretty good. Staybridge has the best coffee. Thank you for all you do.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would… This was the very WORST hotel experience I have ever had. My 80 year old grandmother had heart surgery close by, so we chose this, but I wouldn’t come back to this hotel for any reason again! When we arrived, the service @ the desk was incredibly unpleasant & unprofessional. When we arrived to my grandmother’s room, the key did not work. My poor grandmother had to stand outside her room while we tried to fix this. After coming back a second time & still having the key not work, we were finally able to convince the unpleasant lady from the front desk to try to help. When the key continued to not work, she said she’d come back with a working key & let us in with the master. This never happened. There was no maintenance person on duty and as a result, the next morning in the hurry of getting ready for heart surgery she did get locked out of the room. The employees we dealt with were very unhelpful & apathetic. Our own room was not without its own issues with dirty sheets, lights that don’t work, & of course issues with the key. Problem after problem we found a common theme with this hotel. A lack of respect or help from the staff & management. Their attitude & disrespectful tone & body language, as well as the lack of help or effort made our experience at the Staybridge Hotel the worst we have experienced. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone or anything.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Staybridge Suites in Memphis! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was attentive throughout our visit. The pool area was a highlight—clean, relaxing, and perfect for the whole family. Breakfast each morning was great with plenty of hot and fresh options. Everything felt welcoming and comfortable.

This was by far one of our best experiences during our family travels. Our room was VERY clean, the location was great for food- yet far enough away from the city chaos. Being in an office surrounding location helps. Our #1 favorite kudos goes to having free washer/ dryer services! We were there for a basketball tournament, having to wash daily so that our son would stay funk free was a must. It just took one less frustration off of our plate. Pool was clean & fun, food services was good, clean & great staff. All of our front office experiences were friendly. Ms Latunya was the absolute best! Professional, funny, pleasant to speak to and overall made us feel welcome. Thank you for such a great stay.

The studio suite features a convenient kitchenette with essential amenities like a fridge, microwave, tea kettle, and Keurig for coffee. While the stay was generally seamless, there were minor issues such as a malfunctioning shampoo dispenser.
Very pleased and impressed! Full kitchens, big specious rooms and high ceilings. Fun, retro vibe for the pool, hot tub area. Convenient parking, immaculate inside and out. No attendant on site but genuine, considerate on call representatives. The Rambler hospitality and its affordable accommodations were excellent!

I wish I could give this place more overall stars but for business travelers, STAY ELSEWHERE! It’s night #2 and this week the hotel has welcomed a group of guests that have been incredibly loud throughout the evening beyond quiet hours. The hotel is pretty clean, rooms are spacious and a great location - but the hotel attracts a rowdy crowd ready to party. And that’s fine for someone here to enjoy the lively parts of Memphis…but for a business traveler that needs to rest, it’s far from what a typical hotel would enforce. The hotel walls are very thin so I can (currently) hear entire conversations and music played in the room next to me as if I was there, and this was the same situation as last night - except for they were above me. 2 nights in a row with little sleep because of other patrons staying up late and needing to be up early has left a terrible taste in my mouth. The hotel is a very cool concept and I like the overall vibe, but based off the price point and other patrons it has attracted during my stay - I will not be returning….ever. It’s disappointing but with no hotel personnel actively on site, there’s no one to actually do anything about the noise. And for someone who has an early flight to catch after being out all day for work, I’m exhausted and frustrated. So again, business travelers - you’ve been warned. You could be lucky and be here during a quiet stay with other respectful people, or you could be in my situation having to listen to parties of people until 12 pm or 1 am in the morning and having to be up at 5:30-6 am to start the work day. It’s a gamble - and for the price, you could pay a little more and stay down a stones throw away at an actual hotel where this behavior wouldn’t be tolerated.
Sammy — Google review
Great location with a 10 min walk to Beale St and other downtown attractions. Easy to get to and from in the car - you can park on the street or the lot across the road but we chose to park in a secure carpark downtown as we'd see a few reviews saying street parking wasn't safe. We had no issues while we were there though and didn't see any suspicious activity so we might have been overcautious! Check in is just a code sent to you for the main door and your room, which worked well - this is noone on site so if you have any questions or issues you need to message them. Apartment was new, bathroom and kitchen were spotless and bed was comfortable - the walls are thin as it's a conversion so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! The furnishing was sparse, could do with a couple of extra items (sideboard, draws) for storage and surfaces but overall a comfortable stay for two of us for a few days.
Beth T — Google review
This hotel is awesome. The room was huge with a kitchen, bedroom, and full bath. Very modern and well maintained. The pool and hot tub are great. We waffled back and forth on booking based on the inconsistent reviews. I think the problem is most reviews don't mention the day of the week they stayed. We were there on a Monday and it was super chill and quiet. It is a small hotel and is completely remotely managed so no staff on site. I think what happens if that locals have figured this out as a great place to throw a pool party. They can rent one room and bring all their friends for a great party that someone else has to clean up after. So my guess is lots of weekends are loud because of that. The management should figure out a way to address this via enforcement of the policies. They have cameras everywhere so it wouldn't be hard to know when someone is violating the policy. If they said during booking "only two guests per room. No parties. We take a $500 security deposit which will not be refunded if you host a party" I'm guessing it would be a stop to that problem. We are already planning a return trip to Memphis for a couple of days and we'll be sure to stay at The Rambler again if available.

We lived everything about our stay at The Rambler and would definitely come back! The location was perfect and we were able to park right out front no problem, there was always a spot available at no cost. We just didn’t leave anything in the car. We did t have any problem with noise. We loved the pool and free laundry!

Do not book this hotel. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever received. Don’t get wrapped up in the idea of the beautiful rooms, because they are beautiful, when we had a concern about our safety the support was basically inaccessible. It took 1 hour to even get a response from support and then they ignored me for a further 25 minutes to the point where they said they’d work with booking.com to issue us a refund so we left and went elsewhere (luckily there were some great hotels nearby with availability for the same price). However the next day having left the hotel without using a single thing or even sitting on the bed we were told they’d decided not to issue us a refund. The whole experience was incredibly distressing and ruined our start to Memphis, luckily the hotel we ended up in was beautiful and safe. Do not book here. There are plenty of lovely clean and safe hotels in the area, and plenty of reviews for the rambler staying the obvious safety concerns here. On top of all of this, there isn’t a scrap of noise prevention in the hotel, for 2 hours we sat there trying to get things sorted it was the noisiest I’ve ever known a hotel room to be. I wish I could leave 0 stars.
Anna P — Google review
There is no one on site. No management, no front desk. I stayed on an evening where there was a large party going on taking over the halls, the pool, the laundry area. IT was loud and unruly from 11:30pm until 4:00am. It was unsettling and the police were called multiple times. The Ramble sent a security guard over, but they did not stay did not breakup the party. They said they would refund us for that night and subsequent night, because we left first thing in the morning. The refund was not for the full amount of the room, and did not at all cover the taxes??!! Others in our group visiting Memphis had great stays that same weekend at the Arrive, Central Station by Hilton or the Peabody.

The National Civil Rights Museum is a powerful and emotional site that commemorates the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Lorraine Motel in 1968. The museum offers a comprehensive look at the civil rights movement, featuring exhibits on key figures and events leading up to King's assassination. Visitors can explore the motel where King stayed, as well as the boarding house where his assailant, James Earl Ray, was situated.
Amazing experience! If you truly want to learn about the struggle the black and other minority experienced in the US, this is the place learn it and educate yourself. You won't truly know what it feels like but you can at least see it through the lens of this we'll curated museum. They displayed every endeavours and every battles experienced by the black community and every activist that played a vital role in improving their lives and the future generations. And struggle still continues to this day. Come to the museum to learn!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis is one of the most powerful and moving places I have ever visited. It’s hard to fully understand the depth of certain tragedies unless you lived through them or felt their lasting impact in your daily life. I lived through the tragic murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the ripple effects of that loss remain with me to this day. Walking through this museum, I was reminded of that painful moment in history while also inspired by the strength and courage of those who fought for justice. The exhibits are laid out with great care and detail, telling the story of the Civil Rights Movement from slavery through the 1960s and beyond. Standing at the Lorraine Motel, looking at the balcony where Dr. King took his final steps, was overwhelming. It is both heartbreaking and humbling. The museum does more than present history—it makes you feel it. The powerful visuals, personal stories, and authentic atmosphere ensure that every visitor leaves with a deeper understanding of the fight for equality. This museum is a must-visit for all generations, a place of learning, reflection, and hope for the future.

I am very thankful to have been able to visit here with my family! The amount of underlining love that seemed to surround this area as well as a bit of sadness in the air being so close to where Dr. King's life was ended from such a cowardly act of hate is so surreal. The museum was very informative and reflected our history well.
Taylor H — Google review
Wow. Beautifully constructed, my only complaint was WOW that was a lot to read. (As a reader, that is a good thing!) But I didn’t have nearly enough time. If you wanted to truly learn and read everything in there, it would take you 5hrs to get through. So plan accordingly. There is a large free parking lot half a block from the museum, so that was lovely. Staff was INCREDIBLE! So friendly, polite, and answered any questions I had.

This is an absolute **must-do in Memphis**. Visiting the National Civil Rights Museum was a powerful and emotional experience. It’s incredibly educational and eye-opening — walking through the exhibits truly makes you reflect on the strength, courage, and sacrifices of those who fought for equality. You can feel the history in every part of the museum, and it’s both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. I left with a deeper sense of gratitude and respect for the movement and for those who paved the way. Everyone should visit this museum at least once in their lifetime.
Danitrice L — Google review
The National Civil Rights Museum is very well organized. I liked that it started with information about life in Africa pre-enslavement and that there was an introductory video prior to visitors entering the full exhibit. There was plenty of information on display from various time periods including the Jim Crow era, the bus boycott, sit ins, integration of schools, the Black Power movement, etc.
Keithia T — Google review
Excellent place to visit to see the world at that time in the country fighting for civil rights. History that needs to be taught in school to understand what it was like as people of color fought and died for to have basic human rights. Very informative highly recommended if you are in the Memphis area.

Wow! The selection of animals was outstanding. We were passing by on a cross country road trip and needed to stretch our legs. The layout is amazing, so much walking, we did 7500 steps in two hours before they closed! I brought my three kids teen to toddler, everyone had a great time. Bring a stroller for under five yr old, super stroller friendly. We came on the off season on a Wednesday so the food places weren't open, got drinks from the various vending machines. A few enclosures didn't have occupants, but honestly not a big deal because there are sooooo many animals here, still. Missed the pandas but knew they weren't going to be here and it's not the fault of the zoo. The animal experts were so kind and knowledgeable and treated the animals with care. The animals looked well cared for and enclosures were large and clean.

Loved this zoo. Had low expectations coming from Dallas zoos and aquariums. But our family loved this just as much. They have small aquarium that could use some TLC. But everything else was great, there is a lot of walking but most of the large animals are out and about and easy to spot. The Herptarium area had plenty of reptile and amphibians.
Ccarrillo717 — Google review
We go to zoos in every city we visit and this one is delightful. I discovered they're starting a 20-year (!) improvement plan, which will ameliorate the last few old-fashioned animal enclosures, which will take the zoo to the next level. The place is spotless, the animals are well cared-for, and the workers are knowledgeable and friendly. I absolutely do not begrudge the rather high entry expense, as it helps finance the necessary upgrades, which in turn aids in conservation efforts. The site is well-organized and easy to navigate. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here - if you have kids (or even if you don't!) this is a great place to take a break from other frenetic tourist activities.

Rated #2 in the nation for a reason! Memphis Zoo never disappoints. Membership is a great value and you can tell the zoo really cares for the animals. Exhibits are updated regularly, animals get tons of enrichments & overall seem very happy!

I've loved the Memphis Zoo ever since I was a kid. This zoo has so many different kinds of animals. Lots of the walking is shaded or inside and there are mist fans. Kids can play either in the small fountain or in the new splash pad. There are also zip lines and other new features. Memberships for a family are almost cheaper than just going once, great deal. A great place to visit!
Cayla M — Google review
The kids and I had a blast best zoo experience all the animals were out and about which i was very surprised. tried the new zip line attraction and boy was it fun! it was the best $20 spent for me and my daughter. highly recommend going on it!

The facility presented a clean and organized environment. However, certain animal enclosures appeared somewhat restrictive. Furthermore, the last panda has been repatriated to China. A significant concern was the elevated cost of food, particularly considering its perceived quality.

Immerse yourself in the rich history of Memphis' rock and soul music at the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum. Located downtown, this interactive museum tells the story of how the city influenced these genres through various exhibits and audio guides. From the early field hollers to the rise of iconic record labels like Sun, Stax, and Hi Records, visitors can explore seven galleries showcasing over 30 instruments, 40 costumes, and 100 songs.
A Must-Visit Historic and Musical Heritage Site – Memphis Rock and Soul Museum** My recent visit to the Memphis Rock and Soul Museum was an enriching and insightful experience that I highly recommend to anyone interested in the rich musical history of Memphis. After enjoying a delightful brunch, we arrived at the museum in the middle of the day, eager to delve into its offerings. The museum features a self-guided tour system, beginning with an engaging introductory film that provides a comprehensive overview of the museum’s focus on the roots and evolution of rock and soul music. This visual introduction set the perfect tone for the exploration that followed. As we proceeded through the exhibits, it became evident just how significant Memphis has been in shaping American musical history. The museum offers detailed information about pivotal moments, such as the emergence of the first Black radio station, and how genres like gospel and country influenced the renaissance of blues music. Each exhibit was thoughtfully curated, offering a deep dive into the stories behind iconic figures and legendary venues. The tour effectively contextualizes Memphis’s pivotal role in music history, shedding light on cultural and historical factors that give the city its unique musical identity. It also provides insight into famous sites like Beale Street, and celebrates the legendary careers of musicians such as B.B. King and Elvis Presley. In summary, the Memphis Rock and Soul Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to understand the roots of Memphis’s vibrant musical landscape. Visiting here before exploring other attractions offers valuable background that enriches the experience of the city’s famous landmarks and musical legends.

This is probably the best music museum I have ever visited. From the name, you know what to expect but it is so well done and the audio guided tour is brilliant. We spent 2 hours here but could have stayed much longer. Highly recommended
Denise B — Google review
Not worth the value at all in our opinion. There is basically one small room upstairs and that is it. You definitely can use the money spent for a better much more detailed attraction.

Absolutely my favorite museum experience in Memphis so far. I was not sure how I would like the whole headset business but it added so much to the experience. By the end of the tour I found myself asking for more. This story is so beautiful, I do not and do not want it to end. Memphis! Please bring us more music!

I visited last week with my kids high school music program. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The guided audio tour was fantastic. Everything was very clean and well maintained. All staff we encountered were also extremely friendly and assisted us with some directions as well. Thank you!

If you’re short on time and want a one-stop-shop for Memphis music history — this is it. Having done both the Sun Studio and STAX tours, I found there’s definitely some overlapping history here, but Rock ‘n’ Soul brings in fresh narratives and perspectives that still made it a worthwhile and enriching stop. What really sets this place apart is the self-guided audio tour. It’s choose-your-own-adventure style — letting you move at your own pace, dive deeper where you want, or skip ahead when something else catches your ear. Tons of great music samples and stories along the way, all really well produced. It’s compact but content-rich, and located right near Beale Street and FedExForum, making it super easy to pop in. Whether you’re starting your Memphis music journey or adding it to a full tour lineup, the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum holds its own as a must-visit.

I would HIGHLY recommend coming to the Rock n Soul Museum in memphis, this museum is VERY educational and has a lot of historically significant objects and interesting items too look at. But I wouldn’t recommend coming here with kids because the lack of interactivity and how short the museum is.

Barbecue restaurant
Central BBQ - Downtown is a popular eatery in Memphis, known for its inventive meat dishes such as BBQ nachos, pork sandwiches, and brisket platters. Located across the road from the National Civil Rights Museum, this location is just one of five across the city. The restaurant opens from 11am-9pm seven days a week and tends to get busy during lunchtime with queues out the door.
Central BBQ is the definition of a classic barbecue spot! From the moment you walk in, you can tell they’ve got the whole down-to-earth, authentic vibe down pat. One of the highlights for me was definitely the banana pudding — it’s to die for! So rich and creamy, I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting, so I had to take some home to enjoy later, which honestly isn’t like me, but it was THAT good. The ribs were also fantastic — flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. The sauces were delectable, with just the right amount of smoky sweetness to complement the meat perfectly. One thing I loved was being able to bring our dog along — we sat out on the patio overlooking the Civil Rights Museum, which made the whole experience even better. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, and have a nice view while hanging out with your furry friend. They’re also super accommodating for large parties, making it a great spot for family gatherings or celebrations. The friendly staff, the laid-back atmosphere, and the delicious food combine to make it a must-visit. If you’re craving authentic barbecue with a welcoming vibe, Central BBQ will not disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Jessi P — Google review
Coming from Texas this wasnt bad bbq! The bbq was pretty good, their bbq sauce was awesome- we put that thang on everything. Definitely worth a try. We had the sampler appetizer each as our meal and that was a great choice, had a little bit of everthing and very filling. Really enjoyed the chicken slider and pulled pork nachos. Staff was very kind with that sweet southern charm. Took the food to go so I can’t really say too much about the ambiance but looked really laid back and casual. Cute rustic decor. Parking was easy with the parking lot in the back

First, for reference. I travel for a living and eat wings 3 to 4 times a week alll over America. Wings - TREMENDOUSLY GOOD. Seriously, these are some of the best smoked wings I've ever had. I just got them dry rubbed with Jamaican jerk. Ribs- Excellent, inside was very moist. The outside was a little overdone for my taste though. Brisket - OK.. it lacked the smoke flavor it should have had. Onion rings - They dont make these in house, they were average. Both sauces were very good. When I come back I will probably just get wings...but I may try the pork or chicken.
Carl W — Google review
Very conveniently located adjacent to the Civil Rights Museum. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, the food let me down. I’ve ate 4-5 other barbecue places while in Memphis, and this is by far my least favorite. I only ate half my pork, and that’s usually my favorite part. The service seemed fine. The atmosphere was good. I would not return here
Dixon — Google review
Skip this one. The greens were great & the meat was smoked well. Everything else sucked horribly. Very plain sandwiches. No sauce, no slaw... but asked for slaw, paid for slaw. Flies, gnats, bad service. Was told to stand here, not there, no here, not there, go here, sit there.. and it was hot. They don't believe in AC or pest control. Sauces were boring & no better than mcdonalds. They literally put all the sauce around the outside to make it look like they gave a damn. It was all over the paper they put your food on. Bun was dry. They wanted a tip but never came to see how we were doing, that we got what we paid for, or cqre how bad we were all sweating. The sides SUCKED (aside from greens). Potato salad was very vinegar forward and not good at all.
Jaclyn H — Google review
If you’re in Memphis, Central BBQ Downtown is a must-visit! The ribs are smoky, tender, and full of flavor — easily some of the best in town. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the sides (especially the mac & cheese and baked beans) were delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that authentic Memphis BBQ vibe — casual, lively, and full of the smell of great barbecue. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a true taste of Memphis BBQ!

(Post from Aug 4th) A quick Google search for “best BBQ near me” led us to Central. Must say that it did not disappoint. Enjoyed delicious bologna and brisket sandwiches for lunch. Ordered slab of ribs for later — which were delicious even at room temp. (Didn’t even warm up in the microwave)
TB T — Google review
Coming from a Texan it ain't bad. Portion sizes were large. Meats -Ribs were the best. Normally not a rib guy but credit where it's due. It was good! -Pulled pork was tender and well shredded. Could've used a tad bit more seasoning -Brisket. Mine was dry. Not pleasant. Sides -Mac N cheese was solid. -BBQ Baked Beans were average but good Next time I'd try other meats and stay away from the brisket.

Brunch restaurant
The Arcade Restaurant, located in Memphis, is a historic diner that has been serving classic American breakfast and lunch dishes since 1919. The restaurant boasts a nostalgic 1950s-style decor with neon signs and historical photos adorning the walls. Visitors can enjoy traditional Southern favorites such as country-fried steak, biscuits and gravy, stuffed French toast, fluffy pancakes with berries and cream, and country ham with eggs.
Save up your calories for the week for these breakfast staples that have been elevated to the next level! Located in the heart of downtown, stepping into Arcade Cafe feels like a nostalgic journey back to the 1950s. The charming diner atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful breakfast experience. One standout dish that captured my taste buds was the French toast. The perfectly cooked slices were a delightful blend and crispy and sweet, making it worth the early morning venture. Each bite was a burst of warm, comforting flavors that left me craving for more. Another highlight on the menu was the sweet potato pancakes. The unique twist on this classic breakfast item added a delightful sweetness that lingered long after the last bite. The aftertaste was truly unforgettable, making these pancakes a must-try for anyone visiting Arcade Cafe. Overall, I highly recommend starting your day with breakfast at Arcade Cafe. The delicious food, cozy ambiance, and friendly service create a welcoming environment that will leave you satisfied and eager to return. It's a culinary experience that you won't soon forget.

I arrived at 9am but ordered lunch food. Sat at counter. Wasn’t crowded or noisy on a Tuesday morning. Lexi was my server, and she was outstanding. The whole staff seemed very nice and professional. I had deluxe grilled cheese sandwich and chili. Chili was average, but I was disappointed in sandwich. I could barely see the cheese and couldn’t really taste it. Although food was just ok, I gave them 5 stars because service was excellent.

Very nostalgic feel to this restaurant, like taking a trip down memory lane. I ordered the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich and avocado toast. The avocado toast was my favorite. It came with feta cheese, red onions, black olives and an order of hash browns. The portion sizes were decent. Service was rather quick and the servers were friendly. Cons: The famous peanut butter and banana sandwich was just that: a peanut butter and banana sandwich, nothing extraordinary. It’s cool that it was a staple for Elvis’ but honestly my son didn’t even finish it and he loves peanut butter sandwiches. We also noticed what appeared to be pieces of avocado on the peanut butter sandwich which wasn’t cool. As for the hash browns, they were good but not hot.

It’s old! But it was one of the remaining restaurants from early Memphis days. We had the breakfast, better or as good as any place! The biscuit and gravy were perfect! And the grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich that Elvis went there to eat was liked by all 5 of us as we cut it into portions! It definitely worth the time and comparative cost to eat there, but go before 3pm or it’ll be closed!

The Arcade diner should be the first stop to everyone's weekend when downtown. The classic American diner features an extensive list of breakfast options as well as Elvis Presley's favorite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. I personally recommend ordering your customized omelette with 5 ingredients of your choice. It's an absolute guilty pleasure--oily, meaty, hearty, and melty paired with hashbrown and two biscuits with gravy. Generous portions to fill two bellies. The Hibiscus salad is a huge portion and my favorite healthy item on the menu. The staff here are all extremely friendly. Great value and will definitely get you full, honey.
Eda — Google review
Got recommended this place for a quick breakfast while I was passing through town, glad for it. Very lovely retro style diner in a pretty nice part of town. Waitress told me the french toast here was special so I ordered some with strawberries and a latte. I was not disappointed, these really are special. The hashbrowns were undercooked, but I got a refund on them so we're all square. Also apparently Elvis was a regular here at some point, I didn't know that going in so the elvis merch and decor in the front room was a little confusing at first.
Beth B — Google review
Sunday morning may be too busy to expect a good service, but we waited at our table for more than 40 minutes to get our food. I found both dishes fat and tasteless, but that could be influenced by the temperature as it arrived stone cold. It’s a classic diner with a great history.
Tjeerd — Google review
I had such an enjoyable experience at The Arcade Restaurant in Memphis that I felt inspired to share a full review. From the moment I stepped inside, the classic retro atmosphere and warm Southern welcome made the entire visit feel special. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely attentive, creating the kind of comfortable vibe that makes you want to linger and enjoy the moment. The food was outstanding. I ordered some of their signature dishes, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of rich, comforting flavor. The ingredients tasted high quality, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in preparing each plate with care. The breakfast options, in particular, are the kind that make you want to come back again and again—hearty, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The coffee was strong and fresh, and the portions were generous without feeling overwhelming. What really sets The Arcade apart is the experience itself. The history of the restaurant comes through in every detail, from the décor to the friendly atmosphere. It’s one of those rare places that feels both iconic and down-to-earth at the same time. If you’re looking for great food, genuine hospitality, and a true Memphis classic, The Arcade Restaurant is absolutely worth the visit.

Clean facility with nice and friendly staff This was a short walk from our rental. A bit expensive. We purchased some pretzels which were pretty good but tasted slightly of cinnamon. And we purchased chicken fingers but they were coated in about 1/2 inch or more of breading. It may have just been the ones we got but the breading was so thick it wasn't completely cooked on the inside.

This was one of my favorite concert venues as in regards to experience at the venue. I would say it was a little bit disorganized for the VIP and didnt get everything I was supposed to with the vip. It was easy to get merch and drinks especially with it being 90. I was able to get in and to the barrier relatively quickly. Shinedown put an amazing show on. Would recommend anyone who can see shinedown to come here. Also just in general the concert was very well cooled with and stayed comfortable with all the Pyro shinedown used.

Living here has been beyond frustrating. Maintenance took my washing machine — one that does not belong to the property — with my clean clothes still inside. I spoke with Mary, and she told me I wouldn’t get it back until Monday. That is completely unacceptable. There has been no real urgency or accountability in handling this situation. This is just one of many issues. Since moving in: • I reported a broken ceiling fan — still not fixed. • There’s a yellow kitchen light that clearly doesn’t match the others — still unchanged. • The kitchen cabinet drawers constantly come off track. • The A/C vent is covered in dust and hasn’t been cleaned. • And last weekend, the fire alarm went off and I had to walk down several flights of stairs on a broken ankle. When I mentioned it to another resident, they told me this kind of thing is “normal” here. That’s incredibly concerning. The lack of professionalism, follow-up, and basic care for residents’ safety and well-being is alarming. I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

The majority or Google reviews here aren’t for the apartment, they are for the park because the apartment sucks. Management here is evil, vindictive, and manipulative, horrible and lazy control freaks. They manipulate if you complain. They don’t care about anything but themselves. There are no resident activities or appreciation. No appreciation that we stay in a raggedly managed building stinking of garbage and sewage half the time. Our appreciation is an increase in rent and utilities. The windows are filthy. Pest control is poor. There are many bugs. Packages are stolen. Complaints aren’t responded to appropriately. The alarm goes off downstairs all weekend. Pee and poop is on the backside entrance constantly. Apartments aren’t cleaned before move in. Elevators are constantly broken and slowly fixed. Back exit door doesn’t open half the time. Back entrance door broken for months. No resident activities. No resident lounge and coffee area. No weekend help. Exercise room smells like mold. Building is nice and you’re basically paying for location and that’s it. They overcharge for this old moldy building with no real benefits or amenities other than being financial next to a subpar park.Once my lease is up in April I’m so done with this place. I will go some place worthy of the high rent.

We saw Sister Hazel last night and the venue was perfect. The sound was awesome and they had a really cool VIP section that was well worth the extra 25 bucks. The staff were super friendly. I'm sure we will catch more shows there...great experience!

One of Memphis’ greatest venues imo. Glad to see it finally booking bigger shows again since the C word slowed everything down in 2020. Recently went to the Gideon/Beartooth show and had a great time. Acoustics are fantastic and there’s plenty of room to move. Drinks are pricy but I’d rather pay for pricy drinks than go anywhere near Growlers ever again.

We went to see DeRay Davis & Jessie McDonald. They were so funny. We laughed so hard! Please bring them back. The DJ was on point, I forgot his name! He kept us laughing & dancing until the show started. It took a while to start to, which made zero sense! I gave 3 star's because of the seating. Who put the seats out? Why were the seats touching each other. There wasn't any elbow room at all! We were so squashed! I made myself as small as I could to make room for my husband. He has broad shoulders and the people beside him were big so my husband was sitting in my seat some because he had zero room! Nobody had any room. People come in all sizes so it was beyond uncomfortable for everyone. The seat had no cushion either so by the end of the night everyone was complaining! We all were so uncomfortable that we rushed out soon after the show stopped. Infact DeRay was still talking and we were leaving. If the seating was more comfortable we wouldn't have rushed out so fast and we would have purchased some merchandise from the comedians. I regretted it afterwards but was so uncomfortable that I just had to get out of there! Please put some space in between the seats next time. There was plenty of room to do so!!!!!

Great time for either music or comedy experiences. They do have drinks and some food items.

The insane clown posse outdoor concert was amazing. It allowed plenty of space to hang out, get up close and see the band, the placements of the bars was excellent. One near the stage one in the back of the stage. I hope for more outdoor concerts like this one.
Richard S — Google review
This was like NO event I've ever been to. I don't think it was the venue, but the people hired to work. They were preventing people from coming to the aisles, which is where people were dancing at one point. We were there to see 803Fresh. Of COURSE, people want to do the dance. Every time someone stood in front of this ONE man, I do mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, he would go get security and they would tell the person to move or sit down....at a concert. I've never witnessed that in my life, ever. Male singers, you know, usually get hype when you come to the front. Not at this one, cause this man and what seemed like his own personal security would NOT allow it. And he was on the 4th row. I would've told him he should've bought 1st row. I asked if he owned the joint b/c I was so confused

Had a wonderful time!! People vibing from the 70s 80s 90s and 2000s playing bingo and dancing..

Event venue
Overton Square is a lively and eclectic hub in Memphis, offering a mix of entertainment venues, dining options, and event spaces. The Atrium at Overton Square stands out as a premium events venue with modern decor and top-notch catering services. This vibrant destination was spearheaded by visionary developers who championed the allowance of alcohol sales, paving the way for iconic establishments like T.G.I. Fridays. Families can also enjoy free festivals featuring local artists, live music, and regional breweries.
I adore Overton Square so much, and my son and I go there all the time. There is a great courtyard in the back where kids can play and there’s a little house that he loves to play in and we can just get pizza and run around and go to the candy store and then they have this amazing light installation in the hallway that we could literally just sit in for days and stare at it’s so beautiful. Overton Square truly gives back to Midtown so much with this beautiful space and all of the wonderful businesses that are in it. I love it here. It’s a great location.

Nice walkable are wth restaurants and bars. There is a theater and small store fronts too. Great place to visit. I love Maggie's Pharm,Bayou Grill and Bosco's

Nice shopping area located in Memphis. There are quite a few different shops and restaurants located in this area so there is plenty to choose from. I have eaten at Bayou and Babalu and both were good. The parking situation could be a bit better and have better signage but overall it is a good place to walk around, do some shopping, and get a bite to eat.

I love Overton Square!! Lots of restaurants to choose from, live music, people walking around enjoying the atmosphere!!

Good area close to the heart of Memphis. A few restaurants, bars, live music and even a cinema. Good area to hang out with family and or friends

A great place to take family and friends. There's even a play area for children. It's a must site for visitors to our city. You can spend quality time with your children there. These are videos of my grandsons from last weekend.

Shrimp Poboy was delicious per my friend from Maryland where he’s use to fresh seafood. I had the shrimp and grits and it’s the best I’ve ever had in Memphis. It’s a very unique taste in sauce/gravy. The shrimp were cooked just right and succulent. We had a wonderful waitress.

Campground
Graceland RV Park & Campground is a great choice for campers and RV enthusiasts looking to stay close to Graceland in Memphis. Despite its central location, the campground offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. With amenities like a swimming pool, playground, and outdoor games, there's plenty to do on-site. The park provides 71 RV sites with full hookups including water, sewer, and electricity. Additionally, guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi access during their stay.
We stayed here 1 night in a 41 ft Class A with a tow vehicle. We didn't have to unhook and had plenty of room. Park is old but very clean. Walking distance to Graceland. Marlowe's restaurant has a pink Cadillac that comes through the park. They'll pick you up and take you for some great barbecue! Park was very quiet as well.

The facilities are good and the location is beautiful, but the front desk staff was neither kind nor welcoming. We arrived from the road at 6 a.m., and as soon as the reception opened, we were met with hostility. The staff member informed us that check-in would only be possible at 10 a.m. and that we would have to wait outside, despite there being many available spots. I offered to pay an additional fee for the early check-in, but he was unwilling to accommodate. We chose this campground as a refuge from the road, expecting both proper facilities and a friendly reception, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It’s a nice place, but they really need to be more cordial with their guests.

Great location and great camping experience. It is right by Graceland, the campground is a bit old but is kept up very nicely and everything is kept clean. The bathrooms were air conditioned a HUGE BONUS. I even got biscuits and kisses from the camp cat Memphis who stole my heart. If you stay be on the look out if you love cats hes a real treat.
Joyce B — Google review
This campground does not disappoint. It has some of the most welcoming staff, great location, level campsites, nice pool, and a great wooded area to walk your furry friends. Highly recommended this campground if you plan to visit Graceland.
K K — Google review
Overall, it was a nice stay. We loved the pool! The grounds are a little old and could use some updating. We had a nice time overall. Walking distance to Graceland!

While on an RV trip we decided to stay here since it was very close to the main parts of the city we wanted to visit. We checked in quite late as I have done many times. I was very happy to see a night guard actually on duty and checking to make sure we had a reservation there was also another Patrol driving around for security. I was a bit dismayed in our RV spot. It was dimly lit through all of the roads to get to it. It was also gravel and I had a challenge trying to get my coach level in it.

We had a great time! Checked in around 2pm, had 3:45 tour of graceland, it was a Wednesday & they werent busy so we got to go to the 2:45 tour. The entry from the park to graceland parking lot was convenient & safe. We enjoyed all things Elvis. The park is nice clean. We stayed 1night. The bathrooms are clean and basic, it's all you need. Water pressure was great & the water was consistently hot, to me the facilities are way better than state park bathrooms for sure. They were very clean & in AM a RV staff member, May, was cleaning the bathroom sinks, floors, & all. May was so nice & pleasant. The guard gate man was friendly & nice. The check in office staff were friendly & professional. We took the free pink limo to Marlowe's & had awesome BBQ. We didn't use the pool, but it was open. I would stay here again to be that close to Graceland!
Heather T — Google review
The park is nothing spectacular. Carrying the name of 'Graceland', I was expecting a nice clean, manicured park. It is basically asphalt and limestone with some care given to it. The bathhouses are fair. The WiFi also worked well. A good place to park for a night or 2 while you visit local attractions.
