Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Located in a downtown alley, Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous is a renowned BBQ spot that has been serving up delicious racks of ribs and sausages since 1948. Known as "the 'Vous" to locals, this Memphis landmark offers a unique dining experience in its cavernous basement setting.
THE BEST RIBS IN THE WORLD!!! If I could give this restaurant 100 stars, I would! This restaurant has so much Memphis history! The ribs are so incredibly delicious! I've never eaten anything else there; I only come for the ribs! The staff is very friendly, and I've never had a better experience in Memphis. If you miss Rendezvous Restaurant, you're missing out on a huge part of Memphis history! A huge thank you to the staff at this restaurant. You make this place a paradise on earth. 👍🏻👍🏻
Mike F — Google review
Last at Bass Pro recommended and it didn't disappoint. It was just me so I sat at the bar. Got the sausage and cheese. Which they have the stuff right there and boom it was in front of. Then brisket for dinner. It was very good. Glad I chose to come here as I was passing through!!
Martin T — Google review
Lived up to its reputation.service and food was excellent. First time we had briskets with dry rub. Very tasty. Sides dishes were very tasty also. We liked the atmosphere. Good thing paid parking is next to the restaurant.
Sfiir V — Google review
TLDR: Sauce, beans, dry rub are all very good If you like fall of the bone ribs, these are not the ribs to go for. Brisket was good but not slow cooked the way I prefer. My job involves a ton of travel. Anytime I am in a “BBQ city” I like to give it a try. This was my first Memphis BBQ experience. For reference I like Texas Brisket and Carolina for pork. The ribs are cooked quickly and are more on the firmer side compared to “fall off the bone”. I actually prefer my ribs this way, but others expect fall off the bone. The brisket is also cooked quickly. The flavor in there but don’t expect a smoke ring or Smokey flavor. The star of this BBQ is the dry rub, sauce and baked beans. All of which were very flavorful. The atmosphere and servers are authentic and top tier. I’m sure that there are better spots in town for BBQ, but this one gets enough right in my opinion to stop by.
JBradinIII — Google review
The whole experience was amazing! My first time to visit, but I have been buying their BBQ sauce and dry rub for years. The atmosphere and look of the restaurant was even better than I thought it would be.
Timothy B — Google review
My husband has bragged up this place for years. Talking about ribs so good the juice runs out the side of your mouth when you bite into those ribs...We always have their bbq sauce in the fridge and seasoning in the cabinet . We love it. We were so thrilled to go! We were so disappointed. Super dry ribs and equally dry brisket.
B. — Google review
Stopped at Charlie Vergil’s Rendezvous BBQ in Memphis and it was a great choice for classic smoked meats lovers. You can see why this restaurant remains open after so many years. Everything’s served up on a tray—simple, traditional, and full of flavor. Definitely not the spot for vegetarians, but if you’re into BBQ, it’s worth a visit.
Matthew E — Google review
10/5 - breaks the scale. This place is the real deal. Soon as you go down the stairs you know you’re in for something special. And boy, it’s special. The menu is tight - and they just nail everything. Want the best bbq nachos? They got you. Best bbq ribs ? That live up to the hype- and then some. The brisket? Bursting with complex flavors. Just two bbq sauces but when it’s that good you don’t need more. They’re also really fast at getting you food. The ambiance is stellar. Feels like you time warped into something from a movie or a better world. A world ruled by bbq and rich history. I want to live there. PS - Their bbq beans were amazing too.

Lunch restaurant
Sunrise Memphis, located in downtown Memphis, is a vibrant and spacious quick-serve diner that serves up a diverse range of traditional Southern breakfast and lunch dishes alongside an array of drinks from their full bar. The breakfast menu boasts classic favorites like omelets, egg scrambles, biscuit sandwiches with various fillings, and stacks of pancakes. Notable dishes include the Three Amigos Tacos, the Kitchen Sink platter, and the popular Bi Bim Breakfast.
Absolutely delicious! Such a fun, inviting, warm, uniquely decorated restaurant that screams everything about Memphis. We were visiting from Houston, TX and heard great reviews from this place and were not disappointed. You start by coming in and getting in line to order your food. Once you order, they give you a number and bring your food to you. The staff was very kind and sweet. The food was so good! I ordered the french toast with bacon along with a side of eggs. The french toast tasted like a funnel cake at the fair, soo good! My husband ordered the amigo tacos and those were made with some really good chorizo! Our latte’s were made perfectly with the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. There’s so much decor in there to see and plenty tables to choose from. Parking was easy, a little cramped but still doable ! They offer a parking lot right next to the restaurant on both sides. Loved our experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Memphis!
Daniela H — Google review
Sunrise Memphis is such a lively breakfast and lunch spot that both locals and tourists love. The energy inside is contagious. You walk in, hop in line to order, and then find a seat while the friendly staff, all smiles and full of energy, make the experience even better. Their biscuit sandwich menu is fantastic. I had The Bird and my daughter went with The Usual. The chicken in my biscuit was honestly the crispiest, lightest, most delicious bite I’ve ever had. I’d go back just to order that chicken again and again. The Tabasco honey glaze was to die for, perfectly balancing flavor and heat. The biscuit itself was creamy, fluffy, and full of flavor, and those pickles that came with it? I could have eaten a whole jar. On top of all that, they have a charming Bloody Mary bar with vodka marinating in different flavors. This place is absolutely worth the stop for a breakfast or lunch you won’t forget.
Erica M — Google review
Absolutely enjoyed breakfast here! Even our kiddos enjoyed it. Staff was so great, before we even began ordering they worked on getting us seating for our large group of 14. Our orders were all correct didn’t even take long to get our food.

“A Memphis Breakfast Gem You Can’t Miss!” Sunrise Memphis (Downtown) is a must-visit for true Southern breakfast. The menu is huge and full of local favorites, from classics to creative twists. I had the Kitchen Sink (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, and their signature Sunrise Biscuit) and every bite was flavorful and perfectly portioned. The biscuit alone is worth the trip! The ordering process is easy—place your order at the counter, grab a seat inside or on the patio, and help yourself to coffee or drinks. The food came out incredibly fast and was cooked to perfection, which really stood out. The vibe is casual, welcoming, and perfect for starting the day. If you’re in Memphis and want authentic Southern comfort food for breakfast or brunch, Sunrise delivers big time. Highly recommend!
Isaac C — Google review
Excellent breakfast options, a great vibe, and wonderful music! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax, enjoy good food, and start the day on a positive note. I’m visiting from New Orleans, and I loved it so much that I came here three out of the four mornings I was in town for breakfast! Highly recommend!
T M — Google review
Sunrise Memphis is a great spot for a delicious breakfast and a fun, lively atmosphere. My husband ordered the crawfish and grits while I had scrambled eggs with plant based sausage, hash browns, toast, tomato, and avocado. He enjoyed an Irish coffee and I had a refreshing cranberry mimosa. The food and service were both amazing. The host, a man in a wig, kept the crowd entertained while we waited, which was definitely a memorable touch. The line moved fairly quickly, and the process is simple: you order at the counter, grab a table number, and your food is brought to you. You’ll need to grab your own water and cutlery, but the overall experience is smooth. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and I will definitely be back for the food.
Demi R — Google review
The atmosphere and service were great. The biscuits with strawberry rhubarb jam were very good. The cheese grits were tasty too. Unfortunately, my omelet was way too salty but, maybe that was my fault for potentially not seeing if it said country ham, which is salty.
Sherri C — Google review
If you’re in Memphis you have to try this place. There are plenty of options on the menu and ordering is very simple. The staff is really nice and welcoming. The food is fantastic. I ordered the Patty melt and my wife has the kitchen sink breakfast.

New American restaurant
Bar
Loflin Yard is a popular spot in Memphis, offering American cuisine and cocktails in a laid-back atmosphere with outdoor seating. The venue features firepits and serves hot cocktails like hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps and the Mizzus Swiss with coffee, tequila, creme de cacao, and chocolate. Additionally, it offers a variety of seasonally inspired sweets from other local restaurants.
I’ve been wanting to try Loflin Yard for over a year after hearing so many rave reviews, and it did not disappoint! We stopped by with the family, and the atmosphere was perfect for a laid-back afternoon. The chicken wings were a hit with everyone, perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the grilled chicken sandwich was just as delicious. I personally loved the frozen Paloma—it was the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy while taking in the weekend and outdoor vibes (from inside in the AC). The service was friendly and quick, and we can’t wait to come back for another round. Highly recommend!

Holy cow, this place is amazing! Wonderful smoked meat. I have the sausage and the brisket. Also have the macaroni and cheese and true Mexican corn. What a great treat! Also have a huge outdoor area that is fun to hang out in and what room here is that it’s dog friendly. You should come check it out!
Warren H — Google review
First time visitor but definitely won't be my last! Can you say AMAZING ATMOSPHERE!!! This place is just beautiful. Plenty of outdoor space. Corn hole games are also outside. If you decide to sit outside I would say be mindful of the mosquitoes! They were horrible after the sun started to set. I had the chicken tacos, they were delicious although they don't have taco sauce or Salsa to go with the Tacos. Definitely would give this location a 10 out 10 just based on the atmosphere.
Kasheena E — Google review
A chill place where dogs are welcome both inside and out, and the staff is patient even when you ask annoying questions (like whether there’s extra items off the menu—there isn’t). I ordered the brisket salad expecting something forgettable, but it showed up looking composed and tasted fancier than expected! The beer list is short, but they offered a frozen cocktail tasting, which was generous. I chose the least syrupy one, but even that slid into candy-sweet after a few sips. I just stopped by for a little bit while in town, but I would be a regular if I lived in the area!
Alex B — Google review
My american burger didn't have a lot on it! Like a "whataburger or burgerking" size meat inside, one small slice tomato, onion and no pickles or mayo, mustard or ketchup! They gave me two packs of ketchup for my extra charge french fries (only possible to come with potato chips) not of your choice either! My wife chicken wings were close to raw with sauce on them. We both had one alcoholic beverage, hers was good. Place was too expensive for this type food!
Nolan ( — Google review
This place is huge. I've come a few times with large groups from work. Outdoor ambiance is why you come. Games or TV. Drinks and good food.
Sunshyne T — Google review
You need to make this your go-to hang out spot because there isn’t a better place in Memphis. Especially in the summer and fall Loflin is my go-to spot for an after work drink and their snack options are perfect (but good luck picking just one). If it’s a date or you’re going out with a big group it’s an amazing spot - make sure you challenge your friends to some cornhole
Zoe P — Google review
visiting from out of town looking for a local place. this had good reviews and looked nice/fun. got there and no waiter/waitress. im no millenial so when i go somewhere I expect tohave a menu handed to me (not look it up on my phone) and be waited on (not do all the work myself). so when i walk to bar to order for our party (which already has limited menu items to start with) the bartender tells me they have no more mac n cheese which was what my daughter and i really wanted. apparently no cook to order staff working or they didn't order enough ingredients to be able to cook food they list on their menu. not a great experience for visitors to leave Memphis with.

Sandwich shop
Front Street Deli, Memphis' oldest deli, is a cozy cafe located in downtown Memphis. It gained fame as the filming location for The Firm and has recently reopened after a renovation. While it no longer features Tom Cruise memorabilia, it still offers delicious sandwiches and breakfast options. The menu includes hearty breakfast classics like pastrami and fried eggs on a croissant or bacon and sausage on a steamed biscuit. Visitors can also enjoy signature tomato bread and themed sandwiches named after famous movies.
One of the best sandwich places I have been too, I'm typically here every week. The stone hero is great, the meatball is great, some of the best chicken salad I have had. It's a small place so it can get crowded around lunch but they do great work I highly recommend!

Definitely my new Favorite sud shop, hand down. Food is amazing with fresh ingredients. The service was great and very efficient. The atmosphere is vintage rustic with a cozy vibe. Highly recommend!!
Phoenix A — Google review
Walked in immediately recognized the menu, knew what I wanted hands down. Probably the best Deli in Memphis and I have been trying them all, definitely worth the trip downtown.
Mike L — Google review
Quaint shop, reminds you of an old school deli! The food is really good-just like those shops you would have visited with your grandparents. Excellent macaroni salad, delicious meatball sub-more than enough for two to share a sandwich. The marinara sauce is perfect and the meatballs are large and juicy! While you’re there, satisfy your sweet tooth with a homemade brownie or cookies. Customer service was spot on, I felt appreciated and I can’t wait to go back and try the NY!
B N — Google review
Wow! Had the special which was a candied bacon BLT. It was absolutely delicious! Big portions. We shared a half of one and took the other half back to our hotel to eat later. Pasta salad and green salad with Italian dressing so good and fresh. The owner is working on getting his liquor license….a beer and one of these sandwiches would be even better! Very friendly service….definitely recommend this place! Short walk from the Hyatt!
Lesa P — Google review
Being a delivery driver downtown is difficult but the guys there made my job easy. They were helpful and friendly and helped me pick out an amazing sandwich! Literally, soft bread, yummy meat. I don’t know what it’s called but it’ll get it again. Thank you!
Breonna B — Google review
Best sandwiches in Memphis and the bread is perfect. Super friendly staff. I live in Midtown and come here during lunch because it's THAT much better than anywhere else.
Annabelle R — Google review
This nasty man got an attitude because I instructed him to wash his hands before preparing my food. He was sweeping the floor when i walked in. Barely acknowledged me, granted it was closing time. Pulled the paper to wrap my sandwich when I asked "Are you gonna wash your hands first?" He responded, "I'm gonna put on gloves." One, you've already touched the paper that my sandwich is going on, and two, that is no substitute for hand hygiene. They are a combination. So unless you want a dust sandwich, probably not here. He eventually complied, but how many of you are willing to instruct someone on servsafe procedures?

Breakfast restaurant
Edge Alley, located in the Edge District of Memphis, is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant offers delicious meals made from scratch and beautifully plated. The menu features a variety of sandwiches, salads, and shareable plates at prices ranging from $12 to $20. Known for its excellent and speedy service, fresh food, and pet-friendly patio seating, it's a must-visit for brunch. The restaurant also boasts an excellent coffee program with owner Tim Barker roasting his own beans.
I enjoyed my first time brunching at Edge Alley. Make sure you ask for Adrian 😊 when you come, he provided exceptional service and even recommendations of the menu. They have a mixed variety of drinks, I ordered the “Big Mimosa” & “The Good Stuff” (spiked coffee) both were really good and flavorful. I also ordered the special Chicken & Waffles and the French Toast Waffles. The waffles alone were amazing and I will definitely be back.
Shiteya J — Google review
First visit and had a good lunch with a couple of friends. Our server Joyce was great! Chicken Salad Salad and chips were just okay. Found the chicken salad to be a bit dry actually and some of the chips had a burnt taste. Big Mimosa was good. Swanky ambiance….reminds me of a place I’d see in NYC.
Anthony C — Google review
It was the first time that we tried Edge Alley and it was delicious. We had a reservation and did not have to wait. The speedy service was excellent. Our server was Liam and he was very courteous. The food was fresh and so good. We had the French toast waffle which tasted like Chantilly cake❤️. The Mimosa of course were good as well as the nice and warm Cinnamon sticky bread. We had the Egg and Cheese Sandwich with fruit on the side and it was delectable. The best part is the patio area is pet friendly. We will be returning in the near future.
Leysha J — Google review
My first visit here. The food was pretty good. I had the steak and eggs and a mimosa. Moderately priced. The service was slow. We waited 50 mins for our food. The atmosphere was great. I will go back.
Stacey B — Google review
This is place is very close to my apartment and I simply love to be here. They have both inside and the patio tables. We walked in, but the pace usually is highly packed. So I highly recommend you to get a reservation before. Their inside environment is very cool, hip, and new age. The staff work here are also cool and welcoming. They have some interesting beverage section. I had a cappuccino and that was too good. The food was good. I ordered a lox with biscuit. The lox fillets were decent, but the thyme lavender biscuits were mind blowing. I took fruits as the side. They were fresh. My boyfriend ordered some waffle. It was good too. We ordered a pie as a dessert. It was a bit mediocre. Overall i think it’s good. Although it was fine for me, but some people may complain about the portion size. Update: we revisited again for the brunch. This time I ordered the fried chicken with biscuit and my friend ate the steak and eggs. Both the dishes were terrific. The only thing is that their menu options are limited. Another update: Loved their chicken sandwich. It was yummy and filling.
Debisree R — Google review
(Three reviews from each visit) First trip: Well this was awesome. Overnight oats: really unique take with almond butter topping and some sweet crispy granola around the oats which are underneath. Super fresh berries. The Breakfast dish was well enjoyed by my partner, Altho the biscuit left something to be desired. Just kinda tough and not super awesome like everything else. The sticky bread was really good! Sweet, great bread, and nice frosting type topping. Last but not least, the Colombian Washed pour over was very smooth, a nice presentation. Cool decor, nice vibe, welcoming staff, very clean facilities. Thanks for having us! Second trip: the overnight oats was much smaller Third trip: burger looks amazing but overcooked. They say they are all cooked medium, but this was well done.
Brendan H — Google review
I came on a Sunday for a friend’s birthday brunch. They only allow 6 people max for a group seating, so I would be aware of that before going. Service was very nice, and the ambiance was too. The food was very good. I had the chicken and waffles and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had the How Now Brown Cow coffee and was not impressed with that. It tasted like a mocha when it’s supposed to be a salted hazelnut coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place.
Karen V — Google review
We were in town for a volleyball tournament and I made a reservation here for dinner. I have no regrets! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding, and the restaurant was adorable. I got the warm olives and toast, the gnocchi and the marmalade tart and it was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend.

Amelia Gene's, situated near Caption by Hyatt, brings a touch of French cuisine to its menu. The restaurant offers an array of unique small bites and starters, including Lemon Arancini and Tuna Crudo. Guests can also enjoy pasta options and dinner entrees such as elk short rib and a $110 domestic Wagyu Filet.
What a fantastic establishment. High end restaurant with an incredible industrial touch. Kelsey made our evening so delightful and refreshing, answering any questions and even helping with suggestions. The foods is absolutely delicious and chef Nate pays attention to detail of each plate along with everything going on his the restaurant. Starting off with the amazing biscuits is a must! Then there was the tempura squash blossoms, outstanding dish and one of my favorites of the evening. Final favorite was the carrot cake. Words alone cannot begin to describe the next level they have taken this cake to. Be aware that some the tastings are very small and just that, a taste. The wines are fantastic but a little on the pricey side.. but not a deal breaker.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis. It's fine dining, but not overly complicated or intimidating. The menu is straightforward, which I appreciate. I’ve sat at the bar on my last two visits. The first time, Antonio and Elbee made the experience top-notch. My last visit, Antonio did not disappoint again, and Mackenzie was just as great. All are extremely knowledgeable about cocktails and made great recommendations. Service was fast without ever feeling rushed, and the food was excellent—flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and bartenders who truly elevate the experience makes this place stand out.

My wife and I were born and raised in Memphis and currently reside in Piperton about 45 min from downtown Memphis. We went to Amelia Genes last night for the first time and were blown away by the atmosphere, service and food! This restaurant is one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Memphis and it’s surrounding areas. Our waitress was outstanding. I had the monk fish and my wife had the filet. Can’t brag on this place enough!

Fantastic experience. I believe it is currently the best fine dining in Memphis. Highlights for me were the black seabass, the egg yolk ravioli and the duck, but everything we got was excellent. Very, very attentive staff as well.
Jamie V — Google review
I was in Memphis for a work event and we had the pleasure of eating at Amelia's and it was an amazing experience and the food was top notch, I would travel all the way back from Michigan just for the perfectly cooked buttermilk biscuits with an amazing butter sauce and an apple sauce as well. Only suggestion would be to add a sausage gravy sauce as well! Service was outstanding couldn't ask for a better wait staff!
Cindy A — Google review
Amelia Gene’s is truly most beautiful and modern restaurant in downtown Memphis with professional and friendly staff to ensure the best dining experience. The roasted carrot soup as the amuse bouche was delicious. Simmered with whole peppercorn and puréed to a thick pulpy soup. We ordered the Black Seabass and the Dry Aged Prime Bone in New York strip steak with beef grease popovers. Both entrees were decent with flavor profile and a reflection of a small town charm and interpretation of fine dining. Just would have preferred a higher quality steak with darker color and flavor for its steep price point. Would be delighted to return to try their appetizers and pastas next time.

Sorry about the half eaten food pics. It was so good I forgot to take pictures. The main theme here is balance. Sweet, sour, spice, meatiness are all there as well as all the textures to make every bite something new. The Short Rib is the best I’ve ever had. The sauce and roasted garlic were perfectly balanced. The strawberry shortcake desert was well balanced and full of flavour. The biscuits are outstanding. Keep a few crumbs to sop up the Short Rib juice. The Californian wines were excellent. The Cakebread Chardonnay was excellent with the strawberry shortcake desert and the Caymus Cab Sav was perfect with the Short Rib. That Cab Sav is as good as Bin389, perhaps even better, which saying a lot. Full of flavour. The Cakebread would be fantastic with spicy food. The Gimlet Cocktail was also very good. Very well balanced. The best part was the service. Ms Flowers and the other staff hit the balance of casual and professional, understood the menu very well and really understood customer service. Overall a fantastic experience. This place should have a star or two.

Nestled in Saddle Creek, Local Lime | Germantown is a vibrant cali-mix restaurant that brings the essence of Mexico right to your plate. With an emphasis on tantalizing margaritas and mouthwatering tacos, this eatery elevates the traditional Mexican dining experience. Guests are encouraged to kick off their meal with a delightful salsa flight, showcasing various flavors that transport you straight to Cancun.
Tried Local Lime on a Friday early evening. Easy close parking, no wait for two. Service was very efficient, friendly, helpful, and on point. The food was all excellent. The flight of salsa added excitement to a usually routine app. All three choices were very flavorful, fresh, and good to mix. The chips were also very good with the right amount of salt and crispness. We shared the combo fajitas with steak and shrimp and this dish is our new favorite fajita meal from anywhere we have tried. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and extremely flavorful. The shrimp had just the right amount of seasoning. All the veggies and peppers and onions were grilled perfectly and we absolutely enjoyed every bite. Will be going back to Local Lime soon and taking our friends and family. A new favorite spot!

Easily makes my Memphis top 10. Absolutely loved this place. Didn’t expect it to be this good, fresh, and surprisingly kind of addictive! We had the veggie taco and the first bite damn so good. Mint rice that comes with it, tasted just as home cooked. Shrimp quesadilla was served a little cool but didn't disappoint. More than the fried chicken taco, the veggie tasted great. The chicken tenders were cooked well but yes it looks slightly overdone or too crispy

Local Lime was a wonderful dining experience! I ordered a la cart with fried shrimp taco and ahi tuna taco. My side was the drunken beans, so yummy! Please treat yourself to the zucchini salsa-best salsa ever that pairs well with their perfect for dipping chips. The strawberry basil margarita was NICE. Our server, Taylor, was a true professional! Loved it and will be back!

Tried Local Lime while in Memphis on a short trip—pescatarian options were kind of limited, so I was happy to find this spot. I ordered the queso with chips and the fried fish tacos. Everything was really fresh and the service was great. For me, the tacos could’ve used a little more flavor/seasoning to make them stand out, but overall it was a good experience. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in town. CuppaTash sip: Fresh brew, just missing that extra kick of flavor—but still worth another pour. ☕️✨

So happy we had dinner here! The food was excellent. We had great service provided by Brittany. We sat on the patio with our little dog and it was a great time.

Had the 3 steak tacos, they were flour shells, made it much easier to eat..service was excellent, especially since they were so busy. Tacos were good, not something I would crave again.....chips & Salsa before our meal was missing, not sure they are even offered ?? The 2 sides were not for me or my wife, the pickled vegetables were way to HIT & SPICY for us, so glad the server offered street corn..

Server was kind and helpful. Food was good- a tad pricey. The wall next to the table we were sitting at was in need of cleaning, it had visible food stains. The home made ginger beverage was delicious!

Breakfast restaurant
Kinfolk is a Southern-style breakfast pop-up located in the Pinch District at Comeback Coffee. Operating only on Saturday and Sunday mornings until September 2023, when it will transition to a full-time brick-and-mortar store in Harbor Town. The menu offers sophisticated takes on breakfast classics, with an emphasis on intentionality and attention to detail. The establishment has received praise for its flawless dining experience, friendly staff, and thoughtful contemporary ambiance that provides a high-class appeal while maintaining a hometown feel.
How in the world do you make a breakfast salad make sense?? Ask Kinfolk, because they have done it!! The Breaky Bowl is absolutely amazing! The dressing is great and compliments the eggs, hash browns and chicken to perfection! The biscuit breadcrumbs and fresh Parmesan provided the most elegant touch! Service was great and it’s always a good vibe here!!! The pecan sticky bun with cream cheese was amazing as well. The coffee is ok, but I will tolerate it because everything else was top notch!! What a great way to bring some excitement to breakfast /brunch selections!

This place is number 1 on my breakfast list! My waiter was amazing, she made sure I had everything I needed and checked on me regularly. The atmosphere was amazing and the food knocked my socks off! The chicken biscuit was so good! The flavors combined perfectly the way the cheese melted perfectly with the eggs and the chicken had some kind of flavor sauce to it that made me want to slap my knee. Very good spot come by and enjoy the atmosphere and food you won't be disappointed

This restaurant is tucked away in Harbor Town. The atmosphere was great. There’s street parking around the building so hopefully your parallel parking skills are up to speed. If not, there’s a parking area a short distance away. Now the food was delicious😩 The chicken biscuit with the egg and cheese is made with a tender chicken thigh that just breaks apart with every bite. Note, this chicken biscuit can actually feed 2 people easily😮‍💨. The sausage balls were great. They give you options of sausage gravy, jam, and honey mustard. The sausage gravy took them to the next level. Overall I would recommend this place over and over again. Great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

I enjoy trying new places to dine in Memphis! This is my first time here so I went with the recommended SAUSAGE BISCUIT with egg and cheese and their special sauce on the side. I also had a CEASAR SALAD with chicken. The biscuit was a little hard to me but if that’s what the standard is then it’s honestly okay. The salad was fresh and the type of chicken that was on it had a sweetness to it that I enjoyed! It’s nestled in a nice corner in Harbor Town and the service (and parking) worked out well!

An absolute delight! The staff is so kind and always on the move. The food is absolutely amazing! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I love how they highlight their sources for meats, coffee, etc on their menu. They’ve made such a special place on Mud Island and it’s a must eat for visitors and locals alike!

I LOVED the food!! It tasted amazing and so good the customer service was excellent!! The waitress was so friendly and sweet , the only thing is that the place is pretty small so it get quite packed and crowded and the since it is in downtown it is also pretty pricey but overall everything else was excellent!!
Katy — Google review
We hit this spot for Sunday brunch, and the vibe was casual, laid-back, yet totally charming. It was packed, with people waiting outside, but luckily, we had a reservation. We kicked things off with coffee and mimosas, then waited a bit too long for the food. But when it arrived, the chicken biscuit and chicken biscuit sandwich were absolutely worth it—so good! The breakfast burrito, though, was a bit underwhelming. I wasn’t too hungry, so I went for a griddle cake—kind of like a pancake but with more texture. Served with maple butter and syrup, it had just the right amount of sweetness, and I loved every bite!
Debisree R — Google review
If you are within a 5 hour drive of Memphis, get in your car and speed there! Kinfolk is insane. I live in Nashville and have been here more repeat times than anywhere in my town. They make their biscuits from scratch (you can buy them frozen for home). They are salty and buttery and so flavorful. They have nailed breakfast chicken and make a potato hash brown you can’t sleep on.

Feast and Graze is an exciting new culinary destination set to open soon at the Brooks Museum, founded by Christina McCarter. This luxurious snacking haven offers a delightful array of unique flavor combinations that are sure to awaken your inner foodie. With tempting options like hot honey goat dip and an extensive cheese selection, you can either grab a quick bite or take your time enjoying the experience while exploring Memphis.
Feast & Graze is a charming, nicely adorned shop in Poplar Plaza that offers charcuterie, gourmet sandwiches, and delicious small plates, along with wellness juices. I enjoyed the complimentary Just for Me Box, which included delicious meats, cheeses, fruits, pistachios, praline pecans, olives, a pickle and dark chocolate. The foods were amazing, high-quality ingredients, and presented beautifully. The lavender lemonade, chocolate chip cookies were both fantastic. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some of the other menu options!

If you’re looking for a smooth, stress-free experience and amazing bites for your event, Feast & Graze is the way to go! It quickly became the star of the event, and while there was plenty to enjoy, it didn’t last long!

I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by the Chicken Pesto Wrap at Feast and Graze but they seriously delivered. The first bite was prove that it was not your average wrap! It was beyond amazing! It comes with pesto sauce but I ask for it on the side. The service is incredible and the atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly. This place is definitely a vibe, whether solo or with a group, this place is one of a kind. Give this place a try. You won’t regret it. Thank you Feast and Graze!

I visited Feat and Graze today and had an exceptional experience. I initially went in for one product, but the knowledgeable and helpful staff guided me to an entire care package for my sinuses, which included an immunity shot, citrus zing juice, and allerg-ease tea. They were thorough in explaining how to make the tea, ensuring I understood every step. The customer service was outstanding, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

Louis Connelly's Bar for Fun Times & Friendship is a newly opened bar that has taken over the former The Printer's Alley location. It maintains a dive bar ambiance but with an upgraded feel. The staff and owner are known for their warm and friendly nature, making patrons feel welcome. The food offerings have received positive feedback, particularly the Philly cheesesteak and killer nachos. The cocktail selection is impressive, with a notable amaro collection.
In town for work, first time here but definitely not my last. Great neighborhood bar —met several locals who lived nearby. Got there around 8pm on a Wednesday night and it wasn’t very busy. As the night went on, the place really started hopping and the vibe was welcoming and super fun! Didn’t get to try the food but the drinks I had were on point! They had a high end tequila I had never tried —bartender let me try a sample before ordering. He made me several DAMN GOOD margaritas with it and although the price was higher than what I would typically spend on a drink, it was well worth it. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Memphis.
André — Google review
The spot was cool overall—good vibes and solid music to chill with friends. But at the end of the night, the staff came off pretty rude. They were rushing people, telling folks to finish their drinks quickly and basically pushing us out the door. I get it’s closing time, but there’s a better way to handle that without killing the vibe.
Patrick P — Google review
Bridget is by far the best bartender, like ever. This place is the best kept secret in Memphis. The food is absolutely incredible, prices are great and the atmosphere is very light, fun and friendly. Highly recommend.
Chelsea W — Google review
This is one of my favorite places in the city. It’s a very high energy neighborhood bar. Perfect for a tourist, a bartender after work, and even your parents (before midnight lol)! I just want everyone to know their pickle to burger ratio is ON POINT! The smash burger slaps so hard and the wings hit every single time!! The staff are as cute as they are efficient, very well done.
Brielle C — Google review
I love this place! Bridget, Sam, Adam, Nate, and Caroline are some of the finest bartenders in this city! They never fail to ensure everyone is welcomed like family. Even during busy times, service is speedy and the food is easily some of the best bar food in Memphis. You're missing out if you haven't visited. The vibes are great but the staff really makes it amazing.
Kory B — Google review
Love this bar! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and the food is PHENOMENAL. Bridget is a STELLAR bartender, and was on top of her game even with a packed bar, always checking to make sure I was good. Definitely going back!
Kendall W — Google review
The bartender, Bridget, is one of the worst bartenders we have ever experienced. A group of my friends and I walked in and sat down for ~maybe~ 4 mins. One of our friends stood at the bar for a little to order drinks but Bridget ignored her and went to the bathroom. The friend sat back down to wait until she got back. Bridget walked out the bathroom, banged on the table, screaming at us if we are going to sit down then we have to order. Remind you we have been in the bar for 7 minutes at this point. She then proceed to get into a yelling argument in front of the whole bar with the kitchen worker due to the way she talks to people. Loved the atmosphere and loved the other bartender but unexpectedly left after 1 drink because of Bridget.

Bridget was absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service with a great vibe. Highly recommend stopping by!!

Evergreen Grill has made a triumphant return, delighting diners with its comforting and delicious offerings. Currently serving dinner only, this Memphis gem is known for its mouthwatering dishes like the Honey Gold Chicken Sandwich and Evergreen fries that leave patrons craving more. Owner and chef David Todd has transformed the space formerly occupied by Cafe Society into a culinary haven where flavors shine bright. Regulars rave about favorites such as the Brussels sprouts and burgers, often leaving with leftovers due to generous portion sizes.
This place is a lunchtime staple of my week (at least once a week). They have a buffet style of many options as an affordable lunchtime price. All you can eat food and naan. My favorite is the lamb meatball curry. Staff is great, feels family owned family environment and they remember you. Downtown / near Downtown can’t live without this place. It’s always hard to find parking during lunchtimes.

I'm only giving this place three stars because the food was ok and not amazing. The brisket nachos were better than ok, however, the burger and brisket sandwich was alright. The service was superb and the atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing. The place was immaculately clean and smelled good. They had a very nice bar which, I imagine, is mostly why people visit. I enjoyed the overall experience.

We visited Evergreen Grill on Wednesday evening for the first time. It was amazing!!! The atmosphere is inviting, casual, and elegant. The fresh flowers on each table were a nice touch. It is so perfectly balanced that it can easily be a place for a romantic dinner with someone special or happy hour with friends or colleagues. The people were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy. Then there's the delicious food. It was an absolute delight finding a restaurant with creative vegetarian options made with real ingredients. We had the Crispy Cauliflower, Masala Fries, Mushroom Philly, and the Bread Pudding. I would recommend every one of those dishes, but that Bread Pudding may be one of the best desserts I've ever eaten, and I really love trying desserts. As we were leaving, the owner David came out and introduced himself. He was so fantastic to talk with. I love how passionate he is about food and his vision for the future of the restaurant. We look forward to being regulars there.

New restaurant in the space formerly occupied by Cafe Society. Very relaxed atmosphere with one of the most interesting menus in town. Being a Southerner, the Fried Okra Salad called out to me. We also tried the patty melt which was also tasty. Don't leave without trying the bread pudding. We will be back for more!
Joe S — Google review
We found this hidden gem thanks to an instagram reel. We went today right as they opened and were pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. My husband ordered the Brisket Philly and said he easily gives it a 9/10, saying that most brisket is tough, while this was very tender, and the sauce they add to it was perfect. I ordered their Evergreen Burger. It’s very rare that I am overly happy and enjoy a burger from a sit down restaurant, but this was exceptionally delicious. We decided on Bread Pudding as well, because why not, and that was made so well. This was a great place to eat and worth the out of our way trip!
Tricia W — Google review
I've been coming here since they first opened, before they got the liquor license and everything we have had is amazing. I am surprised by some reviews I have seen where they say the food has no flavor. Maybe just not your cup of tea. The brussels spouts are a favorite, we get them every time we come in. Honey Gold Chicken is my favorite sandwich. My boyfriend generally always get the burger. The size and quality of the sandwiches you are getting your money's worth. I always have lunch for the next day. They just rolled out entrees on their menu which look amazing and been told they are revamping and updating the cocktail menu. They have a Whiskey Wednesday now with drink specials. Trivia on Thursdays but if not your thing can enjoy space in the bar area away from the trivia crowd. The weekly specials all look amazing. I tried the meatloaf when they had it, and I am hoping that makes a comeback soon! Folks who say there is no flavor, I don't get it. Everything we have had has been incredible.

Amazing 👏 🙀 😯 love this space. Fantastic staff. Great 2 story. Great indoor space. Didn't notice if they had outdoor space. They also add 20% gratuity on the tab.. weird, but ok.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, typical of what you'd expect. We enjoyed the pretzels as an appetizer, they were soft and salty. I had the steak sandwich, which was good, but could have used some mayo or something on the side. I included the menu since what's online is for a different place all together. The menu here is limited, but they have hopes of expanding. The customer service was great, so I'd highly recommend giving them a try.
Freddi — Google review
This is the first review I have ever left online. myself and another person ordered three drinks total at the bar and placed an order to go ( chicken club sandwich and fried chicken sandwich). Service was great. was I happy about a 20% gratuity charge on a Togo order? No. But, I was fine with it on the drinks I was served. however, the main reason for the review is the horrible chicken on the club I was served. It was the most rubbery chicken I have ever experienced and clearly pre cooked and heated back up considering you could see the grey streaks in it plus the “ new grill marks”. We paid 60 dollars for a meal we took home I couldn’t even eat. Will not be back.

Amazing experience! Fastest food service I’ve ever received. I saw a review on TikTok and came to see of it was worth the hype! The server was so patient and accommodating. 10 out 10 on the salmon and jambalaya pasta.
Ashley T — Google review
Place is really cute. Food was good. However when a group of people went to the pool table located directly behind us, we almost got hit by the cue ball and by the pool sticks. When we complained to whom we assume is either the manager or the owner, we were told to go ahead and sue them if we got hit. The waitress went above and beyond to smooth out the issue and it is only because of her that I’m even going to give it one star. She is a 5 star employee, however the other man who was working is a zero star. Basically, if you go there do not sit near the pool table and definitely don’t complain to the man working there. And, if you do get hit, remember that the male staff member says it ok to sue the owner.
Dorrine G — Google review
We came in town from Baltimore for a wedding for a family member and took him out to Madison Tavern after a long day of travel. Naturally, we got him totally trashed and had a hard time getting him out of the bar. Nico was awesome and helped us get the groom-to-be down to our car and made sure we got out safely. Kelly was a kick-ass bartender and made sure we were taken care of until we left. 10 out of 10 stars, these guys rock and are so polite. We will be back!!
Daniel W — Google review
My experience at Madison Tavern was incredibly disappointing. Our waitress had a nasty attitude from the moment we sat down, even though our table remained polite and respectful the entire time. Before we asked for the checks, we ordered another round of drinks that never came. No explanation, no follow-up, just ignored. When the checks arrived, one person in our party received two separate checks for the same order, which would have taxed her twice and applied gratuity twice. She simply asked for them to be combined, and the waitress acted like it was a huge inconvenience and clearly had an attitude about having to fix it. Then, when I calmly pointed out that an item on someone else’s check needed to be moved to mine, the waitress told me to "calm down" even though I was not rude or confrontational in any way. It was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly the worst service I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be back.
