Korean restaurant
The Crazy Noodle offers a modern twist on Korean-style ramen bowls, elevating the familiar packaged ramen with their Vegetable Ramen Bowl featuring curly fried noodles in a rich veggie broth with tofu, cabbage, zucchini, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and Korean radish. The Mandu Guk is another standout option with chewy Korean rice cakes and veggie-stuffed gyoza in a rich and spicy soup.
Just really good ramen for a really good price. Compared to other ramen shops that charge so much.
Garrett A — Google review
I ordered the fried mandus, handmade vegetable dumplings and the vegetable ramen with no tofu and no bean sprouts. The menu specifically reads vegetable dumplings. I bit into the dumplings and a white substance was all through out the dumpling. I assumed it was cauliflower because the menu reads vegetable dumplings. The texture was weird, so I asked the server what exactly was in the dumplings to be sure. He says tofu. I responded ok, I don't eat tofu. The menu does not say that there is tofu in these dumplings. The menu says vegetable dumplings, tofu isn't a vegetable. The server very kindly asked me if I wanted to send them back. I said yes. He went to go speak to another lady, I could hear her in a raised voice going back and forth with the server, ultimately telling him that I could not send the dumplings back. The server came back and very apologetically explained that I couldn't send the dumplings back. I assured him that there was no need to apologize. It wasn't his fault. I said the lady is very loud, I heard her telling you that I couldn't send them back. I stated, but I do want you to understand that the menu says vegetable dumplings. It doesn't say tofu and vegetable dumplings. I have the seven dollars, I can pay for the dumplings, but this is incorrect information and false advertising. I said, this isn't my opinion, this isn't what I think, or believe, it is a factual statement that the menu says vegetable dumplings and these are in fact tofu dumplings. I stated that I would be leaving a review and not returning to the restaurant. I paid, tipped the server well and left. I do not recommend dining here because the menu is not an accurate depiction of what is actually in the dishes and they do not take accountability for the false information on their menus.
Marsena S — Google review
Tried a new one! This is my first time here so I went with the recommended CURRY RAMEN with the egg boiled instead of mixed in. I also got to try the FRIEND MANDUS with the HOUSE SOY SAUCE. The soy sauce was such a winner that I asked for more just to put in my ramen and I took some home! The ramen was packed out and pretty good but I did have to season it up a little to my liking (hence the soy sauce). The staff was attentive and the ambiance gave a “neighborhood” feel that real Memphians could appreciate. I’ll be back!
CP U — Google review
Went here to try Korean cuisine. All of our dishes were served hot, looked appealing, and great portions for the price. My girls had a ball and got to experience something new.
Y. T — Google review
Saw this was a Ramen place and decided to check it out on a Sunday evening. Very small parking lot and restaurant to match, we ordered to at about 7:30 and walked out at 8:20. Tried the seafood Ramen (lots of broth, 2 mussels, 4 shrimp, and small serving of ramen) and the Bi Bim Ramen with shrimp (food not really have a flavor). The server/cashier/greeter was one man and he was doing his best to stay on top of everything but he was drowning doing everything himself. We love to support small businesses but between the wait and lack of flavor we more than likely will not return. I know that they cannot control the homeless people outside but upon returning to my car which was parked right in the doorway there was a man begging the customers for money as they entered and exited. Did not feel the environment was safe for me and my son.
J S — Google review
This is a casual, busy joint for Korean food at Overton square. Overton square already has a tons of hip, and cool diners, and bars. This is another cool and casual spot. We started with some fried mandu/ Korean dumpling. The fried dumplings were absolutely gem. We had the beef one. The dipping sauce was very tasty ( I guess that was soy sauce, mixed with some seasoning/ spices). In the main entree, we had a ramen stir fry with Korean bulgogi, topped with a fried egg, and another chicken ramen soup. Both the dishes were of a good portion size and the food was hot and fresh. They served a sauce/ hit spice mix ( forgot the name) with my chicken ramen soup- that was terrific. I loved the place overall, and I’m already planning to go back. If you plan to stop by, don’t go with a rush. Their service is a bit slow, and the ambience is totally laid back.
Debisree R — Google review
This place has solid tasting food! Some of their ingredients is questionable but also we’re in Memphis so I can’t be too picky on authenticity. The ramen dishes are with instant noodle ramen so if that’s not what you’re looking for, don’t get it. I got the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) mild with sauce on the side. Mild has literally NO SPICE so feel free to level up if you’re thinking the traditional kind. Also the rice cakes are not the typical ones for this dish but rather the ones usually in a soup. Tasty overall though. Service was great but food took a while but unsure why. Food took >25 minutes to arrive which I didn’t expect for just 2 dishes. Server was kind and kept saying food would come out soon but it definitely took a bit so don’t expect super fast food if you’re in a rush!
Cindy D — Google review
Food is absolutely great, but the service was terrible, all plastic containers (glasses and togo containers) were cracked and leaking. It took the server 35 minutes to get out check after we were done.

Bryant's Breakfast is a popular Southern eatery that has been serving classic breakfast and lunch dishes since 1968. This casual, counter-serve restaurant is known for its hot and delicious Southern breakfasts, which can be enjoyed on-site or taken to go.
Was nice, similar to Waffle House. Food was good, service was great and very accommodating. Would go again to support small local businesses.

My daughter and I had breakfast here, and it was delicious! The food tasted just like a wonderful home cooked meal. I absolutely loved their pancakes, eggs, and sausage; everything tasted fresh and not unhealthy at all. My only wish is that we could have a seat and have our orders taken at the table. Instead, you go in, place your order, grab a number, and then take a seat. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
Iris M — Google review
Excellent example of a historic restaurant. The food was fantastic, especially anything with biscuits. The service is a little different. It took me a while to realize I was supposed to go get my own coffee. Nothing wrong with that but I didn't know. There's just a few things to get used to, then you can enjoy a great breakfast!
Marc — Google review
Hands down my go to place. The food is homemade yummy. The crew is awesome they are on it. The food is so so so good.
Krena L — Google review
Not my vibe at all, the food was bland and kept under warmers. I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere, it was noisy, but not diner noisy like I would expect at like a Waffle House. There was loud banging coming from what I'm assuming it was some equipment in the back, and it was over powering throughout the whole restaurant. My food was cold when I got it, and was not very good to me. I would suggest this place to someone that is looking for an affordable meal that gets the job done, but if you're looking for a good breakfast that brings character, this may not be the place for you.

Visiting Family in Memphis. We stumbled across this location. It’s an older spot and appeared run down but there was a line going out the door. It didn’t look too long so we gave it a try. We had to order at the counter and they were very patient. We found a table right away. It’s an old school, no frills ambiance. Philly Cheesesteak Omelette was fantastic. Service was timely and accommodating. Biscuits were great! Definitely worth the try.
Gil G — Google review
This is supposed to be their country fried chicken breakfast special. All it is is a chicken biscuit patty! It's barely bigger than the biscuit and they forgot the gravy n grits on multiple of our orders. We also did not get any utensils or condiments
YOTA008 — Google review
This was an ok breakfast spot. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. The facility was pretty aged and worn. I was really disappointed with the biscuits they were good but not anything special and I was really hoping for an excellent biscuit. The eggs were cooked to perfection and really good. All the meats we had were also really good. The gravy wasn't as good as I was expecting either. I would eat here again just not with as high expectations as before.

Restaurant
The Blue Monkey is a popular hangout in Memphis known for its European-style tavern atmosphere and casual American cuisine. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from hot-wing rolls to prime rib, as well as a selection of single-malt scotches, bourbons, and tequilas at the full bar. The restaurant also features a wood-burning fireplace and heaters for outdoor seating.
My coworkers and I have eaten at the Blue Monkey off and on since they were down in a deep basement one door over from where they are today. Back then, seating was tight, but with the new building seating is not as much of an issue. The food has always been outstanding there. The service can be a little slow, but they do get busy. Costs are a little on the steep side but within reason for our once-a-week dining out practice.
Chris S — Google review
Our first visit to this establishment was presently surprised. The wife had the beef eater, and l the Blue Monkey burger. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious.
William S — Google review
Me and my former coworker met here for dinner the other night. We were seated right away, they weren't extremely busy. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich Don had the sausage & cheese platter. Everything was great including the waitress I highly recommend this location
J B — Google review
Customer service was friendly and inviting. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations! Let me start by saying that the star of the show was the Philly Po boy! It was so juicy that I did not necessarily need to dip it into the Au jus sauce. You can see from the photos the juices definitely dripped onto my plate. The bun was not soggy but perfectly soaked with the juices from the meat. CHEF’S KISS! Now for the ok news. The green beans were not really seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was a no go! Another customer in the parking lot recommended the buffalo egg rolls. They were pretty good. Fully stuffed with chicken. The cheese sticks were very mid. Looked and tasted like cheese sticks were from your local grocery store freezer. Could’ve bought my own and heated it up in my own microwave at home. The hamburger steak was delicious! It had a charbroiled flavor throughout the meat! Giving it a good flavor with the gravy. We also had the mashed potatoes which were average. My daughter had the grilled chicken which was very flavorful and tender. Over all we will return but maybe to try something different. The next time I will try the chicken club sandwich on a croissant.
V W — Google review
Overall, the food was fresh and brought out promptly. The Philly cheesesteak didn’t have much flavor and the additional seasoning on the fries took away from the taste. The flavor of the mushrooms were not to my liking so I probably won’t order it again if I return. The catfish tasted great, but the breading could be more flavorful overall. The tartar sauce was terrible, but the coleslaw tasted decent. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the entire order surprisingly. I probably won't return because overall the food and environment was mediocre. Meh experience and there is better priced food and better tasting food in the area .🤷🏽‍♂️
Carlos J — Google review
Everything I've had here is good! Get the pot roast on Fridays, you won't regret it! Them Hotwing egg rolls... twice baked potatoes.... whew yes! Just go & try something.... You will not regret it. The ONLY thing I didn't like is there are no dividers on the Togo plates... I hate my different foods to touch!!!!

The food and service is always a 10. I’ve been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience.

First timer! I enjoyed my meal 😋 A healthy eatery, live plants everywhere, indoor outdoor seating. I had the pleasure to eat a Hen House and my chose of drink a Go Green. Most definitely coming back.

FRESH AND CLEAN! Grabbed dinner here last week with some friends. It was my first time and so I didn’t know what to expect. The menu is expansive and full of super fresh, healthy options. There’s also lots of grab and go items. The food is good and the service was excellent. I like the decor as well.
Brian S — Google review
I visited City Silo today and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere—it’s warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. However, I was disappointed to find that the fruit in my child’s meal wasn’t fresh and the green tea served was a Kroger brand. I came to City Silo expecting fresh, organic ingredients and was taken aback by the quality. I take my health and nutrition seriously, and I believe that with the same care and attention given to creating such a wonderful environment, the same effort could be reflected in the food and beverages offered.

A cool looking deli style hip place. You have to order in the counter and they will serve the food at your table. They have many options for salad, sandwich, juice and other drinks, etc. They have plenty vegan and vegetarian options. Both of us got sandwiches with a bag of chip and a side salad . The sandwich was freshly made with fresh ingredients. The side salad was also very fresh and refreshing. I drank one beet juice ( along with other stuff). It was very refreshing. Overall, if you look for quality over quantity - this might be your place.
Debisree R — Google review
Wow! This is a Valdi approved joint! I ordered a Hummus Wrap with chicken, sliced avocado along with a side salad, another side salad, sriracha sauce for later in the day so you can see the size, to drink the Expresso Dream. This place is legit! The food is amazing and Vegans and Vegetarians this is your spot, I promise! Service was great (I placed a To-Go order), the place is beautiful and ambience is super nice! Plenty of tables in and outside, parking wasn’t an issue. Healthy food at its best!!! You heard for me! I added their other locations!

City Silo Table + Pantry is hands down the most healthy restaurant Memphis has to offer. Deserving of 5 stars. From spin offs of breakfast classics, salads, acai bowls, hearty bowls, burgers to sandwiches, City Silo's got you covered with both meat and vegetarian substitutions. Their biophilic clean aesthetics speak to the green energy City Silo wants to channel to their space, and I am as happy as a kid on Christmas day. Every city needs a City Silo to change the world of dining out. I tried both their Green Machine salad and Buffalo Tempeh and Sesame Cauliflower bowl with farm raised chicken addition. They were both very tasty. I highly recommend you try their bowls as they are indeed hearty and have you feeling full, energized yet light. City Silo is a self service that has got you covered from coffee, a quick bite to a full meal. Every item on the menu is thoughtfully assembled with your health in mind so that you can walk in with full confidence you made a great choice! Give them a try!

I really enjoy this place, I like there new local it is cozy the food is great and hearty. I had a macha macha macha hot and the hippie breakfast bowl which was delicious. Definitely recommend as a place to eat and just relax.

Stopped in at City Silo and tried the Chicken Salad El Goodo B along with their chocolate cookie with sea salt. The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and filling — a solid balance of protein and greens that left me satisfied without feeling heavy. The chicken salad had great texture and just the right seasoning. The cookie was the perfect finish — rich chocolate with a touch of sea salt that really set it apart. Soft, decadent, and honestly one of the better cookies I’ve had in a while. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that clean, healthy vibe without being overdone. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I want something wholesome but still tasty.

Pho Saigon is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. This no-frills eatery serves up traditional dishes like flavorful noodle soups and crispy egg rolls, all made with fresh ingredients that truly shine. One of the highlights is their banh mi sandwich, featuring a crunchy baguette filled with house-made liver pâté and succulent barbecued pork, complemented by crisp veggies and herbs—all at an unbeatable price.
Happy new years !! Firstly I want to say that this has got to be one of the best pho places in Memphis , it was very quiet and the service was very fast. I order the Pho Tai and the strawberry milkshake. The milkshake had to have been the freshest milkshake I have ever had in my life. Now to the pho , the broth was so good that really you don’t need any sauces that they offer. It was very savory and very warming. Definitely try the place out !
Abigail J — Google review
After two fantastic visits, I can confidently say that this pho restaurant has become my new favorite in Memphis. Both times I've been greeted with quick and genuinely good service, which is always a plus. Of course, the star of the show is the pho! My first experience was with the brisket pho, and the rich, flavorful broth combined perfectly with the tender brisket. On my second visit, I opted for the steak and brisket combo, and it was equally satisfying. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every bowl. Beyond the pho, the spring rolls are absolutely delicious – fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. They make a wonderful appetizer. What truly seals the deal for me is the excellent price-to-quality ratio. You get a generous portion of delicious, authentic pho and tasty sides without breaking the bank. From now on, whenever I'm in Memphis and craving a comforting and delicious bowl of pho, this is undoubtedly where I'll be heading. Highly recommended!

We love it here. Their shrimp spring rolls are unmatched. I wish there were better examples of the food on the menu because I always end up eating the same thing, pho, but it's delicious. Kids meals are good. People are friendly, location is convenient. Recommend.

So kind, delicious, authentic. Literally the Holy Spirit brought me here and BOY were my spirits lifted. I needed a sammie, a reliable one. Not junky, but something to give me energy on this crazy busy day I had. For the price it is amazing and my new lunch spot. Very quick to order as I got a PORK BAHN MI. Thats all you need ya’ll. Also the Pho I’m sure but—dang—you guys blessed Memphis with this one.

I always forget about this place to my own detriment. The pho is on point. This was the spicy beef phò and spring rolls which were massive. Also the lunch special lemongrass chicken. 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The always appreciate when a place is quick and the service is responsive. We had our food I'm less than 10 minutes. Adding it to my quick lunch spots.

I order for my employees for lunch. When we open and try to eat bean sprouts was bad. We thought weather was too hot. But try to mix it inside bean sprouts was really gone like food trash and smell kind of bad. One of my employee was start eating already so all others try to take bean sprouts out of the plate. Though took most of out but smell so bad so end it up we have to throw away. We often order from pho sigon but never happen like this until owner change. So disappointed 😞
JJustine — Google review
The pho was one of the best I've ever tasted. While I prefer rare beef slices that cook in the broth (their beef is precooked), the broth was just excellent. Fried spring rolls were full of meat and vegetables. My husband had a pork rice dish that was simply huge. We will definitely be back. Easy parking on the weekend but might be busier during weekdays. Definitely plan a return trip.

🌟🥳🥹I've been going here for 20 years, and despite changes in management, it's always been a consistent part of my diet and holds a special place in my heart. I first tasted sriracha sauce at this restaurant as just a little wee lad. This event helped me ascend to the level of success and happiness I enjoy as an important and contributing member of society. Thank you Pho Saigon for making me the man I am today. 🌶️☕🍵🥰

This place isn't a hidden gem, but it's certainly an underhyped one. The food here is INSANELY good. I'm in the process of eating a giant veggie muffuletta rn and it's so good that I think I might pass away. 100/10

Consistently the best food in the city. You can’t go wrong with the eclectic menu. For years my favorite item was the Hey Zeus although a couple years back I fell in love with the Bi Bim Bop. Today, it was the Kim Chi chicken burrito. Try something new and enjoy this Memphis jewel. Update: yep, still delicious and best casual meal in town.

Cozy little spot, just right for a kwik lunch. Burger was excellently complex and unique. Lots of fun snacks to choose from. Very Memphis. Cheers 🍻

A great place to get a quality and affordable meal. Perfect for dates, meeting friends, or just grabbing a bite. It had a unique atmosphere that I had never experienced before but definitely enjoy a lot. They have a pretty massive selection of drinks including well known and localc raft beer companies, Asian imported drinks, thc drinks (some local ones too), and a typical selection of can drinks. The food is always great and they have some interesting Korean and international/ international fusion options.

This place is a hybrid of a stop and go shop and a small restaurant. You order your food at the counter. You can buy the chips and drinks separate. The sandwiches are good. I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice.

My favorite muffaletta in this city. This place has been a staple in this city for decades now. Always a solid choice. *Korean noodle soup and half a spicy muffaletta . 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hunter D — Google review
I have tried muffulettas at a few places around town and my absolute favorite is from here!! The spicy muffuletta is something I crave almost constantly. I will say the one time I got the ninja there was a lotttttt of sauce on it and by the time I got home the bread was soggy and dripping, but that won’t keep me away. I’ll just ask for less next time.

Ramen restaurant
Lucky Cat Ramen is a trendy and laid-back eatery that offers a variety of dishes such as ramen, buns, rice bowls, and skewers. The establishment has gained popularity for its exquisite cocktails and experimental bar offerings. Lucky Cat Ramen started as a weekend pop-up but now has a permanent location in midtown with plans for expansion. Their signature pork broth is made from locally sourced pork bones and seasoned with imported barrel-aged soy sauce from Japan.
The Tan-Tan Ramen was the best ramen ever. The smoky flavor of the shredded pork shoulder permeated the broth and noodles perfectly. In fact, everything was great, including the eggplant skewers and the pork dumplings, but the ramen was the star of the show! So much better than my first visit before they moved to their current location on Broad Ave.

I was really looking forward to trying the Asian Street Food from the Lucky Cat on Board. One of my favorites meals in Memphis was the Ramen after hours @ Hog & Hominy. I was excited to hear that the Chef went out on his on and specialize in that delicious food. The family joined me this time and we ordered a smorgasbord of items off the menu. We really enjoyed sharing a few appetizers to sample a few items. The Pork Belly Boa was a great way to start. It had plenty of the fatty bacon flavor you love in a great pork belly, but the vinegary pickles cut through the fat. It was a tasty bite. I think the table preferred the pork dumplings over the shrimp. The star of both plates was the sweet chili sauce. We ate every last drop of that sauce on just about anything. The family went with the Shoyu, Tan Tan & Chicken Ramen. They were all good, but we really enjoyed the flavor on the Chicken broth the best. I would say we are not miso fans, but it was the perfect sauce for Ramen. The Shoyu had a ton a flavor in the meat and the Tan Tan had some decent spice. However, they both would been outstanding with some sort of pickled items. I don't care if it was just pickles, but mushrooms, onions, carrots would of made both of them outstanding. I ordered the Chicken wings a was happy I did. They were super crispy and moist at the same time. The sauce was sticky and crunchy with the peanuts. I did find my self dipping them into the chili sauce from the dumplings and made for a perfect bite. I would definitely try this combo again.

Lucky Cat 4 Lunch. I like the concept of this new and up coming restaurant. Trendy night time hot spot. Tables full and hours wait. Which is a good thing. People like it here!! Waiter spot on and very funny and cool. This I know would be perfect for lunch. Now for the menfolk in the group we had to go next door for pizza cause they claim they were still hungry. But any-who, as for the ladies this was a yummy noodle treat. The flavors of our bowls were hot and seasoned well. We all ordered a different bowl to sample each other’s. I stuck with the veggie bowl and they orders the pork belly and the chicken bowls. Also the appetizers was wings and the filled wonton things. Totally Delish! I would try them again with just the ladies!

Honestly, the food was delicious 😋 but the price was a little to high than I expected. $15 for a bowl of ramen and $15 for rice? We spent $100 for dinner for 4(2 adults 2 kids) including 2 local beers. Kids didn’t eat much and we split. All I’m saying if you’re craving ramen expect to pay a lot here!

Real Ramen. Nom Nom. This is a cool, hip swanky spot. More bar than traditional noodle house. So if you're looking for a trendy spot this is it. We loved everything we got. Big bowls of meat and noodles... nomz. The spice and heat were spot on. The only dislike was the pork bun. It has a fish sauce glaze that overpowers the really nice smoked pork. Almost a sushi taste. If it was a Asian BBQ it would have been awesome. The chick bun a winner winner. Word to the wise. Wear a sweater if you sit at the last table next to the bar. Right under a vent. It's the cool seat. 🤓 Pros: Great ramen, trendy, friendly staff, cool location Cons: Price - paid $50 for two, menu is limited
Blue B — Google review
The ramen broth is DELICIOUS! The absolute best. Warm, creamy, spicy, savory and full of delicious pork flavor. I had the TanTan ramen and I definitely recommend it. It comes with peanuts which usually I don't like, but the ramen was so good that the peanuts were an after thought. I also had the bbq pulled pork bao. The pork had a nice smoky flavor and was VERY tender, but it was nothing to write home about. My niece, who accompanied me, loved it. There's a great assortment of ramune to choose from(I love ramune), sodas and a huge container of ice cold water. It's a cozy place to meet friends or family. Especially on a cold day. It's conveniently located and has cute decor. The only cons are the lack of parking space, a very small menu, limited chairs with back support and you probably couldn't go as a large group(say 20 people or more) because it's very small. But definitely don't pass it up! The atmosphere is warm, the ramen is AWESOME and the staff is inviting. Stop in and give it a try. You'll want to drink the entire bowl of broth! (As far as I could see, they only have chop sticks to eat with so there's that to consider if you've never used them or don't like to. I'm sure asking if they have a fork wouldn't hurt though)
Shikapooh 2 — Google review
Best ramen around! Best I've ever had. Only open Thursday through Sunday but worth it. The rest of the days they're prepping. Such as their amazing eggs that take over 14 hrs to make. The noodles are a perfect consistency. Not too chewy and not too soft. Their broth is full of rich flavor without being too salty. All I can say is I'll be back next week and if you're in Memphis you need to go.
John G — Google review
Highly recommend this place. It’s the best Ramen that I have had in Tennessee so far. The Tan Tan rivaled Ramen I’ve had in Houston. The Bun Bao were also very good

Cocozza American Italian is a delightful restaurant situated in the charming neighborhood of Mud Island's Harbor Town, overlooking the Mississippi River. Founded by Deni and Patrick Reilly, who also own The Majestic Grille, this "red sauce joint" initially started as a pop-up ghost restaurant during the pandemic but has now become a permanent fixture in Harbor Town Square.
It's one of my favorite restaurants in mud island. I absolutely love their garlic cheese bread and fried mozzarella. My favorite entrees are tortellini and lasagna. Good service and great price.

The entrees here are presented nicely and look good however they are lacking in taste. Everything here is bland. Chicken Parmesan is very bland. Reminds me of Hospital food. Lacks seasoning. The Marinera Sauce tastes like it came straight out of a can. Overall the food here is Fair at best and certainly not worth the price.

We are from out of town and found this place on Google maps. It was a Monday and we didn’t have reservations, but they were still able to accommodate us at the bar. Franklin the bartender was amazing! He was super busy but he was also very attentive to everything we needed!! The food was all amazing, and such large portions!! We will definitely be back next time we are in Memphis!

Cocozza – Harbor Town, Memphis, TN. We made reservations but showed up 45 minutes early. We asked to sit at the bar, but they graciously offered us our table so we could relax while waiting for our guests. That set the tone—welcoming and easygoing. The atmosphere here is great: light chatter, traditional Italian music playing in the background, and a warm, comfortable setting. Milan took care of us tonight—friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. Perfect service. I started with their olive oil martini (gin, of course—lol). My wife went with a mimosa. The olive oil martini is a light, dry gin-based martini. You can sub vodka if that's your thing. It has a subtle olive oil flavor, just enough salt, and is garnished with rosemary and an olive. Not my usual drink, but very nice—and even my wife said, “Not bad,” which is huge coming from someone who doesn’t like martinis. Her mimosa had a good ratio of champagne to orange juice—not too sweet, not too dry. For starters, we kept it simple with baked garlic bread—good herb and garlic flavor and a great presentation. We also ordered a Caesar salad to share—fresh and well-balanced. For the main course, I had the Veal Piccata—sautéed with lemon, capers, and white wine. The veal was tender, cut like butter, and the sauce was creamy, lemony, and delicious. My wife went with the Salmon Oreganata. The salmon was flaky and buttery, and the breadcrumb topping paired perfectly with the light sauce. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu and the lemon cheesecake. While I’m not a fan of tiramisu, my wife said it was excellent. The cheesecake was very good—rich and smooth. I didn’t really catch the lemon, but that may just be my palate. Apologies, forgot pictures of the dessert. Overall: Cocozza is a charming American-Italian restaurant with a finely curated menu, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Take the time to make a reservation and enjoy your evening—you won’t regret it.

So I’m in Memphis for the first time ever and decided to dig up an Italian joint… Let me tell you how amazing this spot is! I started off with some crispy eggplant fries with some marinara sauce, super light and tons of flavor, wow! Then got my cab to start off before my entree; ordered vodka rigatoni with grilled chicken and Italian sausage… super flavorful and creamy, amazing!!! I had some space for desert and ordered the Amaretto Flan! For Pete’s sake, yum to the yum yum yum!!! You find yourself in Memphis, you better pays these guys a visit! The staff is amazing!!! I’m coming back!!! The ambience is classy and the music is perfect over dinner!!! I promise you will love this place. Parking was relatively easy. I also heard from the bar tender the owners have a joint called Majestic Grille… I’m coming so stay tuned!!!

Thank you Cocozza for such a great time! Your sauce is better than mine and I loved the meatballs. I need recipes lol. That cannoli was the best too. Usually it is so chewy at other restaurants. It was crunchy and creamy perfection. I also recommend the bruschetta and the calamari starters. Your staff was so engaging and they made my birthday so much fun. They took the time to answer questions, even about the restaurant itself and artwork. Very engaging and professional. We will be back because this is now my favorite restaurant!

Dined here for the first time. Incredible food and exceptional friendly service, kudos to our server Johnathan for making our dining experience memorable. Our table had the garlic cheese bread, meatballs, bruschetta, manicotti, chicken piccata and rigatoni. Must try the meatballs they are amazing!!! Oh, the cheesecake is divine! If you’re looking for a great Italian restaurant on Mud Island with good food and service, make sure you stop by!

It was a good experience overall. I felt a little bit more than black pepper on the penny sauce, but that was fine. But what really gave this review a 3 star was the Lemoncello! I told to our water “That’s not how you serve a Lemoncello”, she got a bit defensive, but it was nothing with her, she was very pleasant, but apparently the boss a Italian from New Jersey told them to serve that in a room temperature. 🤷‍♀️ You not only serve cold but keep in the freezer or fridge in real low temperature along with shot glasses to serve them, the glasses also needs to be cold. 😉

The portions are generous and the vegan options are particularly flavorful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
First experience at a Ramen bar for me and the family. Excellent! Loved it all. Great Ramen bowls that they allow you to substitute ingredients to your liking. Loved the spicy chicken! The "octopus balls" were different but most of our table liked them! Service was SUPER!

Nestled in the vibrant South Main Street area of Downtown Memphis, Good Fortune Co. is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This delightful eatery, helmed by talented chefs Sarah Cai and Arturo Leighton, specializes in handmade noodles and dumplings that showcase a unique blend of Asian-fusion flavors not commonly found in the Mid-South.
We had the most amazing meal at Good Fortune this evening. The food was unbelievably delicious- crawfish dumplings, Big City Noodles and the ice cream. All were absolutely scrumptious. Every meal that was delivered around us looked delicious as well. We are from out of town but will definitely make every effort to visit again as we want to try EVERYTHING! The staff were fast, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu making great recommendations. They do add a 20% service charge so the staff, including chefs are able to split it and thus, no tipping. We didn't mind this at all as you could tell everyone was working hard and their efforts were great food and an enjoyable atmosphere.
Jessica M — Google review
Seen it on Diners, drive ins and dives. Had to go check it out. Not the best ramen I have ever had but it’s still good. Crawfish dumplings were disappointing but the Chicken wings were probably the best wings I have ever had so crispy and the best flavor. The banana ice scream in the fish waffle cone was a cool dessert and tasty.
Nick K — Google review
As an Asian, I found the flavors at Good Fortune a bit underwhelming. The curry lacked depth and didn’t taste very flavorful, though the noodles were cooked perfectly. The pork dumplings are just okay nothing special . I tried the ube lemonade it was okay, but the artificial ube syrup was noticeable. The matcha ice cream (taitaki style) didn’t have the strong matcha flavor I was expecting coming from a matcha enthusiast that was disappointing 😅. On top of that, the 20% service charge felt excessive for the experience. Overall I expected more given the hype and the price point.

Saw the restaurant on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and said we would check it out when we came to Memphis. Not quite what I expected but delicious none the less. We had the pork dumplings, Sichuan honey glaze wings and the chicken rice bowl. All the food was fresh and very flavorful. Will definitely come again when we roll back through Memphis.

Good fortune is 100% my favorite restaurant in downtown Memphis. The food is great every single time. From the hostess to the waiters and the rest of the staff, everyone is so friendly and the food always arrives in a flash. Good Fortune is a Downtown Memphis staple! Amazing food - charred edamame, THE WINGS, and the chicken rice bowl are my go-to choices! Make sure you save room for the Taiyaki (ice cream) with their rotating delicious flavors, even you think “eh I might not like that,” get it and be amazed!

I enjoyed everything I had and the customer service was excellent. Even with the busy Friday night crowd, we were consistently updated on our wait time and ultimately given the option to sit at the bar so of course we did! The staff was friendly and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Here’s what I ordered: Last fall I discovered that I absolutely love ramen so I got the ✨TAN TAN NOODS✨ and it was perfect! (This is a vegan dish but it certainly didn’t taste like there was no meat in it!) Whenever you can get the special, get the special! I had a ✨BLOOD ORANGE TEQUILA✨ cocktail as part of the month’s drink special and I loved that it was just the right amount of sweet. (I actually like to taste my alcohol.) Lastly, I know you see that piece of chicken all by itself. I didn’t order it for myself, I was blessed with it. Get the ✨ GFC WINGS✨ Trust me on this!

富貴 Petals of a Peony (Midtown) is a new addition to the dining scene, offering the same delectable menu as its original location in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The restaurant boasts an array of appetizers such as sliced pork belly with garlic sauce and spicy dumplings, followed by enticing entrees like Crispy Duck and Stir Fry Sweet Potato Noodles with Pork.
This great Chinese restaurant is not what I expected in Memphis. This restaurant located in midtown area with their own parking lot on the side of the building. Our server was lovely and helpful. The food came out really quick. Everything we ordered tasted so authentic. And when they warned you with the spice level, they are not joking around. The food is fresh. This place hands down one of the best Chinese out there.

My friends and I came in here for the first time on Monday and were pleasantly surprised. We tried their cucumber salad, dumplings and wings as an appetizer. For dinner, we shared several items, such as the chicken peony, green beans, pork and cabbage and crispy duck. Everything was wonderful!! For dessert we had the matcha tiramisu and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was phenomenal. We had Ria as our server and couldn’t have been happier. Her great service and hospitality truly elevated the experience. We will be back!!

Petals of Peony is a serene, spacious and classy authentic Chinese restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed dining here as both the wait service and food were tasty. We tired the crispy duck, which tastes a bit drink and tough. The sauce used is also the standard sweet and sour sauce used at other smaller take out places. I prefer roast duck with soy sauce, so I'm not entirely sure they live up to their authentic Chinese title. I do love their white rice. It comes out hot moist and embodied the essence of fragrant jasmine rice aroma. The eggplant with minced pork was tasty! I am still interested in trying their other hot dishes--there are so many! I also love the tote bag and $5 off coupon they give to each of their customers. Kudos to great marketing strategy. I'll be back.

Our second time at this location. Food was wonderful. Service was excellent. Highly suggest the Spicy Dry Noodles and the Sliced Beef with Wild Pepper. Yum! I love that it is designed as a family style eatery as it made making decisions on what to try. The menu had a wide variety of dishes to try. We chose the chicken dumplings, green beans, whole fish (picture attached) and the duck. Wish the duck had been crispier but the fish was AMAZING. Can’t wait to come back with more friends!

One of the worst experiences i had the place has weird vibe feeling like you’re going to one dollar restaurant dining place. The food is not the best thing that you can ever taste although the portions they give us are so small and not cheap depend on the amount of food they serve the food taste for me awful. The waitress lady was nice and she checked on us multiple times to see if the food was good or not. Frankly, the food was not good. I got some lemongrass chicken stir fry, which was supposed to be served with rice. And the lady apologized many times that their rice was over!! They gave me some baguette to eat it with the chicken. I was wondering if making rice was a big deal for them? All they need to do was to put some rice in the rice cooker. Anyways, the chicken stir fry was just a very basic one, nothing fancy! Two of my friends ordered pho and they were very disappointed with it. The pho was lacking any flavor in the broth. Overall, we were not much happy about the dinner.

I went to the restaurant with high hopes after great reviews, but we came in and they brought us menu's and water and we told the server with excitement it was our first visit...we sat for 15 minutes with no one taking our order. As new guest we wondered if maybe we went to front to make an order, so my BF asked "do we come to you to order?", she said "sit down, sit down" we waited another few minutes and left. They were busy with to go orders, and the customers that walked in after us were given their to go orders and checked out, then she went right back to bagging food. Im not sure why they did not stop bagging orders long enough to take our order and get it started. Not sure yet if I will give it another go.

Visited first time. Order to go as a takeout. When came to our hotel which is 20 minutes away the discover that are tofu and rice is missing rice 👎😡 I called back and she said that she forgot to put it in with the order and asked us to come back and no money back. I have no way to come back tonight because I'm taking care of my daughter after hers serious surgery. So are you eating tofu by itself, not the best experience. But the flavors for delicious. Fall broth and meat for very tasty but the noodles were very sticky and overdone. Also the order was missing the spring roll which was in V4 with the tofu and rice and the salad

The Thai restaurant Thai Bistro is a favorite in Memphis for its beyond delicious cuisine. The menu features items such as curries, rice plates, and noodle dishes that will leave you wanting more. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, Thai Bistro is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends.
Thai bistro is genuinely one of the best restaurants in Memphis. The food was phenomenal and so authentic! The service is great and they are attentive and responsive. We ordered the tom kha, calamari, pad see ew, and papaya salad. Everything was packed with flavor! We left satisfied and happy!

Stopped in today to try someplace new. I had 2 crispy spring rolls and Nam Sod (ground chicken mixed with lime dressing, chili powder, red onion, scallion, cilantro, mint leaves, fresh ginger, peanut and roasted rice powder). It was a salad. First, the crispy spring rolls were good, hot and fresh, but, nothing to write home about. They were like eating fresh mozzarella cheese sticks - one bite and all the filling came out leave just the shell for the 2nd bite. No complaints at all, but just nothing special. The dipping plum sauce wasn't too sweet, it was super thin making it a little difficult to eat while driving. Nam Sod. It smelled so good! It was light and refreshing, but....it was crazy spicy. I didn't mind the spice BUT I was not expecting it at all. My.nose was dipping and my eyes were watering. It was delicious and fresh, I've only ever had a similiar salad with beef, so the ground chicken was a welcomed change. I'd love to try other dishes next time I pass through. Service was great, friendly and super fast. I visited right at 11am when they opened. It was clean and the restrooms were clean and stocked.

Delicious food, great service. Best fried rice! Don’t hesitate to try something new, won’t be disappointed.

Authentic Thai cuisine as you eating in Thailand. Each time I go to Memphis, I always go there to eat. Chicken satay, Pad Thai, Papaya salad, everything are good 😍❤️🥰 The owners are very very friendly. Highly recommended 😘❤️
Bryan D — Google review
This place was very good but the protein portion seemed small on my plate. The spicy old man had beef, it was sliced so very thin but plated in a manner which looked as if there were a lot of meat on the dish. It was spicy, which I loved and had a very good flavor. Plenty of parking and the staff was nice. They decor was odd. In the middle of January, Christmas tree was still up 🎄 with green and red ribbons on the hanging lamps and there were also Valentine's decorations already up and intermingled though the restaurant. Just a little weird.

This was my second chance with this place. Never again. I ordered the squid dish - the pretty pic. And the other pic is what I got. It was some kind of seafood roller things and dishwater! This was a $20 dish! Thai Bistro owes me $18.50. We also got the spring rolls that tasted old and were overcooked to mush. This is the worst place I have ever experienced.
Joe S — Google review
Came for lunch. Super friendly fast service. Food was amazing. The steak and shrimp papaya salad was one of best meals I've had in a while. Complementary soup and spring roll with our lunch too!
Keith O — Google review
I ordered the pad Thai, their version of spring rolls, and a Thai iced coffee. Each item was the most horrific of its kind that I've ever had. The pad Thai was vile. I don't know what sauce they used, but it's not the traditional kind. It was almost like a curry sauce. It was bad. The Thai iced coffee was even worse. I took a sip and recoiled in disgust. I thought maybe I just got the concentrated part without anything else so I stirred it up and tried again. Nope, still disgusting. They have no idea how to make it. It was basically just instant concentrated coffee in a cup. Nasty. The spring rolls weren't as vile but they were still very bad. I have no idea how this place is still open. If this were any other city with smreal standards they would have closed down shortly after opening. Stay way away from this one.

Pho restaurant
Restaurant
Pho House is a Vietnamese restaurant that aims to bring a modern twist to traditional Vietnamese dishes. Known for its exceptional service and outstanding food, it offers a variety of options such as Egg rolls, Banh Mi, Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Fried Quail, Friend Chicken and more. Customers have praised the delicious food and tasteful presentation. Some have noted minor issues with the meat in the pho but were overall pleased with the fresh herbs and veggies.
Hi I need to strongly recommend this restaurant! Although it is located in a community that is easily neglected, this restaurant has been filled with the human warmth. We are surprised to find out that it is open at 10 am, we ordered one combined pho and one rice noodles with beef and pork feet. We met a lot of Vietnamese communities pass by and order food, which implies its authenticity! At the end when we prepare to pay the tips, the owner reminded us that there is no need to pay tips. The chili paste is authentic and reminds me of the chili from southwestern China region.
Zhuo Q — Google review
Pho Vietnamese Restaurant offers a generally pleasant dining experience. The pho broth was flavorful and well-seasoned, though perhaps a bit less rich than some other places I've tried. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portion size was generous.
Ardi — Google review
The service was okay but like the reviews say “they don’t come check on you”. I think only one of them understand English. The food in my opinion was horrible they need to add seasoning to the broth it TASTES like water. Didn't enjoy it and I won't be back not even if it’s free
Demarcus D — Google review
Don't go for the service, but do go for the food. Server never visited table after delivering food. Needed mire water. I had the Combo beef Pho. It was very good. Also had Vietnamese coffee with milk. Very yummy. Wish I had tried the Spring rolls as they looked tasty. No room in the belly though.

Memphis CLASSIC!! Food is always quick, hot, and tasty.😋 I will be back and have been back many times. If you are craving a nice big bowl of pho, come to Pho House.
Violet O — Google review
SCAM ON MENU PRICES! I did not know that there was “NEW” price on the food that I ordered until I found out the amount was different from anticipated at cashier. Waiter then told me that pho is one dollar more and they will fix the menu afterwards. I was upset that I did not get any heads up from the waiter since I came in to eat, and there were no signs on the menu to indicate the price change. Seriously feel being scammed. I have been to this place before but this happened for the first time. Food wise, I have always like the pho here, but fried calamari was terrible for its overly thick breading. I think I will not be back again. There are other good Vietnamese restaurants in midtown, and I’ll go somewhere else in the future.
Tina C — Google review
I had a near religious experience with the Banh Mi today. Soooo good. Nice people. I often get the Pho and Bun dishes. All good.
Steve S — Google review
I have been going here for awhile and generally like this place, but I'm a little ticked off today. I was charged $22.50 for pho tai. That is nothing close to the menu price. The only thing that may have added on the odd $5.00 up charge was that I asked that my meat be on the side because I don't trust meat that is already in the broth when I receive it. I hate to say this, but I won't be back. If there was a charge for that, it should have been explained and I would have left without having anything.

Stayed in Memphis for a week for work and decided to look for Chinese food. Price is cheap and portion is huge. I had the Singaporean noodle and can't finish all of it. The food actually tasted good. I won't mind trying other menu items when I visit the city again. Takes care of my Chinese food craving when traveling.
Sng1002001 — Google review
The food is acceptable...absolutely nothing special, the same lunch combos, appetizers, etc, that you can get at a ton of places. They also have a larger menu, and again the food is OK but the total experience (service, cleanliness, ambiance) would need to be great to make it worth going to. I have been 2-3 times but not in a couple of years. The last time I went, a sour little brat (a teen, no doubt family of the owner) was the hostess (maybe waitress too.) The restaurant was to close at 10 pm, and I arrived at 8:15 approximately. I politely requested a table for 2, and she replied with a scowl and told me, clearly irritated by my presence, that they would be closing in "like an hour." There was not a bit of courtesy or warmth about her...by her face and her tone she was daring me to accept a table and eat there. It takes much less than an hour for 2 people to be done, but this was how she chose to greet me. There was 1 or 2 other diners in the whole restaurant. Needless to say, I could see it would be a miserable dining experience, so I simply left. And I am extremely patient and forgiving when it comes to personalities and cannot remember another time when I left like this because of a worker's attitude. If they are that desperate not to have my business, I will go somewhere else. In my previous visits the service was not this rude but not friendly either. If you don't believe me, read other reviews regarding that lovely little ice queen. Two stars instead of one just because the food is OK.
Andrew A — Google review
True to their ratings! Their food is fantastic! Egg rolls and their Dried Noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp were excellent. Yes, I will be going back to these guys. Their restaurant looks shabby, but they make up for it by having some great Chinese food.
Bobby B — Google review
Food is okay at best. But the service is what did it for me. They brought me the wrong soup and when I pointed it out, the daughter of the owner (her dad) brought him out and he just stared at me for five seconds with dead eyes. No words, and then gave me my soup without a bag. Which I then had to ask for. And again, if the food was good, I might give 2 stars and overlook that.
Brandon H — Google review
The food is always great when I come. The orange chicken is the best. The only complaint that I have is that there's this little kid taking orders and getting an attitude with people. You tell her exactly what you want and she manages to put in something different to screw up the order. My order was screwed up twice by this kid. They need an adult up front at all time taking orders because getting rude with customers and back talking is bad for business.
Shirlene W — Google review
This place is not that great to look at but the food is AWESOME! The Thom Yum soup (Thai Gumbo) is the best around Memphis/Germantown/Bartlett...whatever...it's the best. Every time I eat here it's fresh and delicious. The prices are great too. If you're looking for authentic Thai or Vietnamese food you should definitly check this place out.
Big O — Google review
I had the Thai fried rice and my fiancé had the chow mei fun, both were delicious! Portion sizes were great and the food is a good price. The man who works at the counter was very nice. Definitely will be back again!
