Delicious old-fashioned petit fours. When I was very little, my mom hosted a lot of showers. She ordered big boxes of them from the little old lady that lived behind the church. Good memories riding with my mom to get them! In 30+ years I've never had a petit four that comes close to that memory but the ones at Milk are perfection! Highly recommend ordering for showers and parties or just because you're an adult and you can.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Milk Dessert Bar! It was not only stunningly beautiful but also so fresh, soft, and full of flavor! This cake had our guests raving about how delicious it was weeks later. From the cake tasting to the flawless delivery on our wedding day, their customer service was nothing short of immaculate. My kids enjoyed their milkshakes. They are full of sugar and come with rock candy, however it is what you would expect from a milkshake named Unicorn and Galactic. So no complaints here as long as my kids enjoyed them, then I loved it.

We had the unicorn shake, galactic shake and the cookie butter cheesecake!! Everything was great. The shakes were over the top!! The look better than the pictures and it takes 2 people to finish one. WE WILL BE BACK!

I can’t say enough good things! I have tried just about everything from milkshakes, cookies, cheesecake & cakes and everything every time has been absolutely outstanding. Most recently we got the strawberry and cream cake for my sons birthday and let me tell you, everything was perfect, it was a strawberry explosion without too much sweetness.

One of my favorite places and today was my first visit. I timed then and they were putting out a milkshake a minute at their slowest and I still had to wait 15 minutes, but absolutely, totally worth it. Everything I sampled was delicious and every staff member was patient and explained where to order and where to pay. And when in doubt about the organization... Just look at the signs!!!

My all time favorite popsicle place! I've been coming here for years and the popsicles are still amazing. My favorite is the avocado lime, it's super creamy and tangy, perfect for the summer. My second favorite is the blood orange one but I believe they only sell that during the fall/winter. I also got to try the salted caramel recently and that one was really good too.

Worst cater service experience, I had booked 2 weeks in advance with all amount paid on time,On the day of event I was informed that they can’t deliver while all the guests were waiting for it. Their management had no curtesy to contact and inform me before time so I could have made other arrangement.

Mem-pops had the most delightful sale. All pops was 2.00 Sooooo how can you choose just 1. Dipped and not dipped, I tried a bunch of them. Coffee Birthday Cake Mango Avocado Pistachio Strawberry shortcake Cinnamon Roll Mini And the lines were out the door for these delicious 2 buck treats. The staff was busy and rolling the pops out one after another. Wait was short and lines flowing. We will be in attendance during their next annual Mem-Pop treat Yourself Day! So much more to discover and so many more flavors to try.

If you want to be sad and miserable, don't come to Mempops. From the incredible flavors to the highly personable staff, you cannot walk out their door without a smile on your face! The staff member absolutely wrote himself and Mempops as a brand into the story of my family's memory. We will tell all of our friends to go there and go there ourselves when we are in Memphis again. Solid, good people, and amazing handcrafted popsicles!

Awesome place for dessert or a snack. The flavors all taste great, and ingredients are natural and local. Plus, staff here are super kind, and the place is very clean. They have typical popsicle flavors, and crazy and unique seasonal flavors. 10 out of 10.

We love Jerry’s! We have only ever had their snow cones but we are never disappointed. The snow is the soft kind and they do not skimp on syrup. Our favorite right now is candy crush. I am so glad we finally went inside to see all the flavors explained.

I used to love going to Jerry's Sno Cones with my family. I preferred the original location, but we liked the Cordova location, as well. I have visited three times this Spring and my experience hasn't been good any of the visits. The first visit, they gave me the wrong sized snow cone and the chips in my nachos were stale. They didn't seem to care when I mentioned it. I let it go. The second time, my burger was wrong and, again, my chips in my nachos were stale. Yesterday, I ordered a rootbeer snow cone and I decided to try the nachos one more time. Again, they were stale. The real kicker was when I had eaten the top layer of my snow cone, I noticed there was a "red" flavor in it. I dug a little deeper and there was bright orange, as well. I decided to say something again and they just said, "Yea, someone probably made it wrong." I give up. As a single parent, I can't keep wasting money on treats that aren't edible and hoping it goes back to how it used to be. Hopefully, they can figure things out going forward. We will have to find somewhere else to go.

I see the low star rating but my experience this day was nothing but opposite. Food made as ordered. Service was good to me no attitudes from order taker or at window. They deserved a tip.

Really really miss the old original Jerry’s location. First time here and I expected more. The drive thru menu needs to be updated you can hardly read the menu and prices. The snow cone flavors are not the same taste water down.

The customer service here is terrible. I visited yesterday. I was curious about the fun flavors they had by the names listed. I asked about two different flavors. I wanted to know if Pina Colada was just pineapple and coconut and I asked what the flavor Roller Coaster (which is listed on the menu). I was told “I don’t know.” I asked if they could ask someone else and she said she did and no one knew. That the flavor would “probably be sweet.” I ended up just ordering pineapple supreme so I could get out of the line since there wasn’t a place to exit the drive-thru. The woman’s/girl’s tone through the order box was very rude. When I pulled up to the window the person who took my cash wasn’t the person who gave me change. It was someone who was serving out the window. I observed they had extremely dirty fingernails when they handed me my change and my order. I think the owners should really re-evaluate the customer service aspect of this location with current staff. It can make or break your business and from the reviews I’ve seen that have been posted lately, it’s not just me.

This is the kids Popcorn Chicken Combo at Jerry's. I will not spend my money on food here anymore. I Love the Sno Cones and will always come for those!!!!! The food is to expensive for the amount of food you receive.

It could just be my expectations for this place but I was really disappointed with my experience. First, they only sell ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, or mixed. The massive lists of flavors are strictly for snow cones but it’s not super well labeled, so I thought it could’ve applied to ice cream flavors too. Anyway, we got a caramel vanilla sundae, strawberry cheesecake snow cone, and Mac n cheese bites. The sundae was okay but it was literally just vanilla ice cream with caramel thrown on top. I thought it would’ve been like caramel ice cream but aside from that, it was okay. The strawberry cheesecake snow cone was a disappointment. It just tasted like ice with sugared food coloring. I couldn’t taste the strawberry cheesecake flavor anywhere. And finally the Mac n cheese bites were eh. I thought they’d be bigger but they were really tiny and the nacho cheese dip that came with was horrible. Overall, the service was a little slow and I think I just had too high of expectations of this place given that it’s always crowded. But it was a disappointment for us and I don’t see us coming back.

Ice cream was delicious! I had the banana spilt and it was well worth the money. They have plenty of seating inside and out. Everyone was really helpful and definitely got busy while there. Highly recommend if you are looking for good ice cream. I think they have other foods also.

Came in for the first time with my significant other and we stood there for a while before we were helped. When we walked up the First Lady asked what we wanted and I told her we were unsure at the time since it was our first time. I suppose since we weren’t Hispanic we couldn’t understand them, but the First Lady said that she didn’t want to serve us. There was then another that came to help us immediately after and asked if we were ready. I let them know we still needed a little bit of time, and she said the same thing. If your not Hispanic it feels as if your not welcome. Will not be going back

Picture this: When you first walk in, it feels sparse and open, but clean. In front of you, the menus are brightly lit, showcasing the items listed in both English and Spanish. Prices are so low, you can't help but wonder if quantities are a lot smaller than depicted. Two girls up front chatter in Spanish with each other, but greet you in English when you approach. You act indecisive, because you know that means you can get free samples, and then you order. There is no wait; you get your food as soon as you order, and it looks exactly like the pictures. It tasts even better, and you wonder why you ever go for ice cream anywhere else.

First time visit on a Monday evening . Being allowed to taste the ice cream first was definitely a bonus! Thick ice cream with interesting flavors. Definitely recommend!

Took my wife for a evening ice cream. Careful they close a bit early. Huge wide open space for eating inside. I had the Chamoyadas it is a 16 oz cup of natural mango w a sour mild Tangy recipe. I had it how ever they fix it. The tangy stuff was not bad, but more tangy than I enjoyed. Once I poured out the sauce it was delicious. Next time I'll just get a natural fruit popcicle. Plenty of other customers were enjoying the thing I ordered. Don't let me deter you from ordering it. Noticed they sell nachos in addition to all the ice cream and fruit dessert stuff. I'll try those next visit.

This is an okay place, but not so great. The ice cream flavors I tried were okay to satisfy my sweet tooth but not greatly impressive or taste worthy. It's good to see them have good candy collections, and they also have a selection of liquor chocolates. I just grabbed a few to gift my friends, and they liked it, though.

Cute little shop. Large variety of hard to find candy. The candy is very fresh and tasty, except for their fudge which is not high quality and lacks flavor. You can find much better fudge in the Wisconsin Dells.

I’ve been to this place many times. The service is okay, it’s mainly young women probably 20-25 so sometimes they’re a bit rude. They have a variety of candy, drinks, popcorn, toys, and ice cream. They have alcohol flavored ice creams like jack daniels, espresso martini, etc. Their selection of ice cream hasn’t changed since I discovered them which was last summer so I think they have the same flavors all of the time. The liquor ice cream melts quicker than the rest but I think it’s worth it for certain flavors.

Banana Pudding ice cream was AMAZING! Also got my 6 month old son and adorable little dinosaur that you can warm up in the microwave called a Warmies. Love it!

Apparently this is a very popular store for candies and ice cream. However, call me picky, but I was not very happy with the ice cream. Well, I’m really picky about ice cream. It’s kinda run of the mill ice cream store, where the chocolate flavour lacks actual chocolaty element, rather overpowered by excessive sweetness. And I don’t like that, period.

I went here after eating a light lunch at a nearby restaurant. I ordered a shake with everything ice cream and blueberry cheescake ice cream. To wash it down, I had a grass soda. The shake combo was perfect, though the soda didn't exactly taste like freshly cut grass as advertised. More like a watered-down Jolly Rancher. Prices were reasonable. Their candy, fudge, and soda selection puts Willy Wonka to shame and their popcorn smells good enough to jump in. Next time I'm near downtown Memphis, I'll stop by.

I have loved this place for months but lately they have fallen short on quality. I ordered a funnel cake via Uber. My funnel was just that. An extra large cake better yet basically scribbled extra large strings of pancake mix. The chocolate drizzle was globs of chocolate and it just didn’t even look worth eating. I will gladly change my review once I see more consistency . Also how does a funnel Cake come delivered soggy!l?

Incredible sweet shop, better than any I've had. The snow is magical. I had high expectations but was blown away. The flavors are bold - the fruit punch was just like the Kool Aid. A variety of delicious chocolate candied apples. They even have frozen adult drinks made with the snow. Love it, absolutely recommend.

This is so misleading. I was looking at the old menu on the maps, and when I reached it, their options were so few that I ended up trying a dessert that tasted bad. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I only gave this establishment 1 star because ZERO wasnt an option. Whoever are the owners are need to do some serious work with the young staff's attitude and customer service skills that worked today. I observed people not being greeted. Orders kept getting overlooked. No acknowledgment of messing up orders or anything. I NEVER received my fried oreos! I kept getting skipped over and over. Avoid going here on the weekend apparently people there told me week day staff is better skilled. Would love to speak with the actual owner.

They didn't make me feel like I was bothering them. If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go .I got a funnel cake it was so delicious I ate half of it on the parking lot.I have also had the flavored ice so delicious full of flavor. I had a long day at work but there customer service made my day . Even while busy they paid attention to all their customers went above and beyond. It is hard to find good help . They were packed and still gave great customer service and had our funnel cakes out quickly. The funnel cakes were massive and delicious. The chocolate covered oatmeal cream pie, moon pie, and rice crispy treats were also yummy. Great experience!

I door dashed cookies and thought the double chocolate chunk had a lighter color tone but when they arrived it was a darker tone brown color (close to black). I called and asked if it was okay if they remade the ones I wanted (the lighter toned color) and they did but when I got the second batch, the cookies looked lazy like someone got mad after I called and asked what I wanted in the first place they looked less presentable than the firsts ones and tasted worst like it got thrown in a toilet worse. I trust the first batch more than the ones I requested..

I visited this location on valentines night, they were busy which was expected. However the staff was rude. The cashier didn’t ask about being a rewards member and even went to the next screen as I was reaching to type in my information. We asked the cashier to go back so we could type it in to which she huffed and puffed but reluctantly went back. Once my number was typed in, an option for a “free classic cookie” briefly popped up and as soon as it did I reached to use it. The cashier, once again quickly proceeded to the next screen. We’d already asked to go back once and since that seemed like such an inconvenience we didn’t want to bother her to do it again. I’m about 20-30 mins away from the closest Insomnia so it’s nice to use a reward when it’s available especially if it’s a surprise to me. The cashier was just so unenthused and in a rush to get the line down. Cookies were a 10/10! The service was not it.

These were sent with love from St. Louis to our daughter in law and son. For the birth of there child and his first fathers day. They arrived warm and wonderful per the phone call and the perfect treat while baby sleeps one had for cookie and one for baby.

Consistently missed delivery instructions. Door dash is terrible so I was told to order after 7. Still missing delivery instructions. I'm not quite sure why it's so hard to "Please place on white cabinet next to the door" Tonight was perched weirdly on the stair railing, other nights are just on the ground in front of the door or in water. It's my bad that I keep ordering. That's on me. I'll be using up my rewards and just not ordering anything anymore. Not worth the hassle and yes I have spoken to management about this several times previously.

Visited this cookie shop during a trip to Memphis and got an order of their cookies. They were good and soft but a little bit thinner than I like my cookies to be. The service was fast and they were friendly. It was easy to get in and out and wasn't overly crowded. I'd stop back by if I had a sweet tooth.

Great customer experience with greetings for every visitor walking through the door. Shop sells paintings and other collectibles in addition to yummy treats: Pies, cookies, and pudding to name a few. Little Pies are expensive, but staff said i would not be disappointed, and when I finally ate the pie later that night.. well, dammit I wish I had bought two! Very good crust and the sweet potato filling was out of this world. Banana pudding was not what I was expecting and more of a parfait with loose crust at bottom and non vanilla wafers, but was good. Cookies were good too. So when visiting the National Civil Rights Museum, walk the two or so blocks to Butteriffic.

I was passing through Memphis and my connecting flight got canceled leaving me stuck until the morning , so I stayed at the Hilton Home2 downtown and walked over to this place. I was greeted with a warm “Welcome to Butteriffic!” They walked me through the selection, and I ended up getting the strawberry butter cookies, a mini sweet potato pie, and a regular butter cookie. They were all ON POINT. The sweet potato pie was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and the cookies didn’t last more than two minutes. If you want great customer service and some fire dessert, look no further.

A delightful twist on the classic banana pudding. Creamy, dreamy, and loaded with fresh strawberries and bananas. The perfect fresh, but decadent dessert. It's like eating soul food on Sunday from your grandma. This is what heaven tastes like.

Ridiculously good! Owner was very friendly and the place smells amazing. We had the sweet potato pecan pie for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. Love the butter cookies and want to try the other kinds. It's on the far end of town with plenty of parking. Highly recommend. 2025 update: Pies with butter cookie crust and the pudding is so good. The strawberry cookies are my favorite. Highly recommend.

The wife and I had eaten at Central BBQ and on our way leaving saw the sign for BUTTERIFFIC, so we thought we would just check it out. Much to our surprise we were greeted with a big smile and a big hello. But that's not the the biggest deal, the bog deal was the taste and the quality of these cookies we bought. When I tell you they we the best tasting fresh baked I have had "no cap" I would recommend you not pass this hidden gem up, If you are ever in Memphis! 👍🏾

Sooo first time customer, looking up dessert places in the area I was around (Broad Ave). I read the reviews and nothing bad so why not? I tasted the Ube, it's the purple ice cream on left in case. It seems to be a fav, it was not bad but I had other plans! I told Ginger I was a chocolate person so she gives me a sample of Death by Chocolate and it was like a party going on in mouth. Also from reviews I knew I wanted Mud Island, that was another party as well. I added descriptions of the ice creams so you can see what all is included, I had chocolate, oreo, chocolate, fudge, chocolate, pretzels, chocolate and caramel. I can't tell you what else were in those 2 scoops but it was alot going on and I was down for it. Mari made my order. Both ladies were sweet and patient with me. Customers were friendly. A dog was inside so pets welcome, assuming leash is a must. Overall 10/10! Now I am sad bc my ice cream is gone, oh funny moment: I was driving and kept licking my spoon trying to figure out why the chocolate isn't coming off only to realize the spoon changes color from pink to purple when cold. It was dark outside so hey....good job guys!

I'm a bit of an ice cream junkie, and I pride myself on not only trying many different ice creams, but also making them myself at home, in a very expensive ice cream maker. I say this so you better understand the high praise I'm about to bestow upon this establishment. At the recommendation of one of their employees, I tried Gooey Butter Cookie. And let me tell you - this ice cream NAILED the flavor. It tasted like a gooey butter cookie. In my years of making ice cream at home, I've learned to identify when ice cream is freshly made, and I could tell this ice cream was fresh. Super highly recommend this place. I'll be back, and will try their Lavender honey flavor ice cream that I wasn't brave enough to try the first time.

Sugar Ghost is the cutest ice cream parlor in the University area. The two staff members are super friendly. Free samples! The flavors won’t disappoint—they’re very sweet and true to the flavor profile. My favorite are the Ube and Mud Island as the latter is generously loaded with peanut butter cup, pretzels and pecans. Hands down my favorite spot in the area.

This place is awesome! The ice cream is delicious. Every flavor is excellent. The goat cheese ice cream sounds weird but it's delicious too. It pairs well with ube or blackberry. I had only the macha bubble tea and it was great! Robin was so kind and helpful. There's literally no reason not to go. So what are you waiting for?

I'll have to give this one a try another time maybe. Nothing special when I went. They posted about doing specials for National Ice Cream Day but when I got there, they said that was over and there wasn't anything still. Well. Ok then. The flavors available weren't anything really unique and all the ones I sampled were just, eh. They only have generic vanilla soft serve with no dipped or anything you can't get at anywhere with a soft serve machine. The ice creams cannot be made into milkshakes. Milkshakes are only vanilla ice cream with add-ins. I chose soft serve with peanut butter sauce and I got a bowl of plain ice cream with a sad, anemic squirt of peanut butter topping on top. Like from a squeeze bottle for condiments. It wasn't worth finishing. The flavor of the month staff pick was called Hokkaido but it wasn't listed on the menu of milk tea flavors. I asked and was just told it was a "nutty" flavor. Maybe that should be put up on the menu for customers to see when they're in line deciding to order. Overall there is better ice cream in Memphis. It must depend on what flavors they have on rotation. I hate to give a local business a mediocre review but I might give them another try for a different set of flavors now that I know what to expect.

Just amazing! Last minute gender reveal cupcake. So we received our gender info like 10 days earlier than expected. I had to do something quick and Muddy’s made this huge moment perfect for us. I ran by after work. Showed Alisha (hope I remembered her name correctly) the results (without looking). They didn’t have pink and blue plain Jane’s cupcakes available so she went to the back and they filled a cupcake for me and even added question marks and sprinkles. They hid the pink really well too! Just incredible and we will be forever grateful! Added plus…it tasted delicious of course!!

Let me start by saying that Muddy's has been an all-time favorite of mine for years. Now I can truly say that it will forever be a favorite!!! I hosted a baby shower in their classroom / party room recently -- precious! The space was very roomy, clean, and accommodated our party size, with plenty more space to fill (around 25 people.) The owner was very easy to work with, communication was stellar, and of course the treats we ordered for the party were bangin'!!! Please, please, please do yourself a favor and consider hosting your small event at Muddy's! I promise you will not regret it!

I had the most delightful visit to Muddys Bake Shop on Broad Avenue! Their cupcakes were absolutely fantastic, and the peach pie was a real treat. I almost couldn't resist picking up some of their cute hand towels too. (I will definitely be back!) Plus, the chic outdoor seating area with bubbles added a charming touch. Stopped in and found the coffee fantastic! We hit Christmas in July and it was so fun. We have tried Lemon pie, Christmas cookie wreath, vanilla bean wafers and Bacon/pimento scone. Each one has been very, very good. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places in Memphis. Our trips aren’t complete until we’ve stopped by Muddy’s. I miss the old locations, but the food hasn’t suffered. Our faves are the cupcakes with the kids, and pies. You can’t go wrong with anything though, it is baked by the gnomies with lots of love!

Stopped in at Ginger's Bread & Co. and love the vibe. I grabbed an assortment of things for a girls brunch. The everything bagel croissant with cream cheese is legit—flaky, savory, and super satisfying. They have muffins, scones, challah, cookies, bread and other baked goods. Parking is easy, space is unique and clean and the folks are friendly. Pricing is super affordable, cheaper by weight than store brand. Highly recommend placing a pre-order or stopping by soon.

The best chicken salad in Memphis, full of fresh chopped herbs. Price points are below fast food and even grocery prices, so the more you purchase the more you will save. Their sourdough crackers are a sturdy shingle for all the summer salads and spreads. Perfect Parisian croissants, in a variety of flavors, are southern sized. Ample parking in front in the heart of Midtown. Local artists have tables set up with adorable earrings, fairy houses and crotchet crafts. Can't afford a vacation? Step in the Ginger's Bakery for a taste of Paris.

If you love the smell of freshly baked goodies, this is your place. They have many different kinds of breads, croissants, muffins, banana bread, cookies, breakfast pastries- all sorts of tempting stuff. They bake fresh with good ingredients. Try to visit them in the morning. Otherwise things run out quickly. Don’t miss their savory scone with cheddar and bacon. That’s too good. You will get previous day’s stuff in discounted rate too. Check this incredible place out. It’s near the Kroger grocery on union.

Very nice bakery, I picked up a loaf of their challah bread for French toast, and it turned out great. The bread itself is very good, strudy, dense, with a touch of sweetness. This bread would be great with any choice of butter or jam. They have a good variety of bread, pastries, cookies, and they even have a bread slicer. Next time, I'll have to try a loaf of their wheat bread.

Warm, crusty, crunchy breads and pastries filled the air and glass cases. I fell in love with all that freshness! The Pain Au Chocolat was so good...oh my!!!

Second-best sourdough bread in town (yes, we don’t have many options, still - this is good if a bit uneven). If you are on the fence about bread with a crust, come on Saturdays between 3 and 4pm for half-price breads, there just may not be any left. If you like classic sandwich bread, talk to them. They sell a soft crust sourdough to local restaurants, so they might add it to their regular offerings. Also, I took one of their focaccia breads to a party - everyone loved it (dipped in a little olive oil or straight up).

The rumor is, the owner, is so rude and unwelcoming that he’s lost a previous prized location due to issues with everyone around him. He’s since relocated at a less trafficked area that almost certainly negatively affected the bottom line. As a fellow business owner, it’s sad when attitudes get in the way of one’s hard work, but that’s this story. I have been twice, both only after a detailed explanation of how it wouldn’t be a warm encounter and that they would go in and deal with it. For me, half of the experience is the EXPERIENCE. Anyway, for the cheesecake itself- it’s badass. It’s made with so much hate that it undergoes a chemical change and it makes it taste delightful. It’s not tart at all, so if that’s the type of cheesecake you like, go get it at Kroger. This cheesecake is soft and fluffy and rich all in one. You can taste the egg in the cheesecake which wasn’t my favorite, but hey not everyone loves tart cheesecake like me, so I don’t hold it against the cheesecake here. All in all, if you can stand a less than warm encounter, you’ll find a good cheesecake place.

A friend and I came from out of town to eat at this well known cheesecake establishment. The door was locked even though the time on Sunday was 3pm - 10p. I tried calling the number on the door it was changed to an unknown number. I tried to support a small businesses in Memphis, TN oh well. SMH

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND FOOD! If you want a block of CHEESE with a side of nasty attitude then you are at the right place! He does not care about customers and hate when you voice your opinion. I wanted a refund for a disgusting dessert, he told me no and he never had to issue a refund for his desserts. I see why he doesn’t get any business. There is also not a no refund policy hanging up, maybe you should add that to refer to! I don’t see how he still in such a good area with bunch of feet traffic and barely getting business! Give that spot to a business that is worth the time and money.

I was there on 5/31. The cheesecake was delicious. But the owners attitude is soooo funky. Not friendly at all. Very nonchalant. My second time there. I will not be going back. He needs to work on his customer service

Kevin has one of THE best chicken salad sandwiches I've ever had. It comes with chips and a side of fruit. I stopped to take a picture of it before it is completely devoured. I am SO grateful for his presence downtown. He is an incredible staple and asset.

I agree with the other reviewers. I see the owner talking about his 'swag' in other comments, brushing off criticism with overcompensation - maybe he's a local icon but I wasn’t too impressed with his attitude. Charisma & unfriendliness are two different things. Was also a bit surprised by the untidy space and the dirty door window. The cheesecake was amazing, though - $11.25/slice + tax, a bit much imo.

I see where people talk about this place as unfriendly business owner but I can tell you that my wife and I used go often to the old location and talked with the owner several times. After a few years of COVID not realizing that it had bn so long we went by the old location and it was gone we went by the new location not realizing that it was the same owner till we walked in and I spoke with him again and told him I was glad to see it was him that owned the place he reminded me that it had bn years since he had moved and said just don’t let it be years before u come back. We laughed I had quit working in Memphis and COVID are the reasons we hadn’t bn but I told him it wouldn’t be. He went on to tell how he hadn’t changed locations and during COVID was a hard time for him which I can only imagine and felt for him especially since he has always made the best cheesecake in the tristate area. He is a really genuine guy and people don’t realize how hard it is to find good help but he hasn’t given up and hope he can keep busy enough to not have to. People should realize he has a business and usually really busy with no help so he is grinding nonstop but I can assure u if u take ur time and be patient and offer a kind word to him he will give a kind response. Frost has been my go-to bakery for all things sweet for at least the last decade. Everyone who knows me knows not to bring me anything sweet unless it’s from Frost! Frost has been a part of every special event in my life for the last ten years - from birthdays, baby showers, holidays and everything in between! I’ve eaten from bakeries all over the US, and Frost is UNMATCHED when it comes to taste, quality, consistency of product and customer service. I’m a customer FOR LIFE! These are just a few things that Frost has done for me in the past!

I recently placed an order for a 9in Coconut Cream Cake for my Mother's 62nd Birthday. I ordered the cake about a week in advance and a lady had called me a few days before pickup to confirm the add-ons I had requested such as adding a frosted border and some glitter and luster dust. She asked if I would also like them to write Happy 62nd Birthday on top which I agreed that would be great. When I picked the cake up it looked absolutely beautiful! Their customer service and communication was 10 out of 10, however my only complaint would be the cake was a bit on the dry side. Overall I would recommend due to the great communication, attention to detail and their prices are very reasonable as well.

I feel like I had just discovered Frost Bakery! For some relatives birthday party I had to to supply two cakes and I didn't have time to bake them. So I decided to try Frost Bakery since they seem to be the only ones that made homestyle cakes. Trust me, I was not disappointed In the least. My very favorite was the caramel cake but the strawberry was a close. Second! I even decided I wanted the caramel cake when my birthday came. I highly recommend this Bakery. They have many other treats besides cakes and they do a lot of specialty decoration.

A friend got a cake from here for my birthday - it was SO good! It was a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting; the cake was perfectly moist and had a rich, wonderful flavor without being overly sweet. I was impressed - that's always a sign of an exceptional baker. This is the only cake I've ever had where the leftovers were frozen - can't waste a bite of this. Now to try the cookies!

Immediately the cupcake smell hits you and you know you're about to have something so tasty. I've just had the cupcakes and their cookie samples, and so far everything has been so yummy. I get the German Chocolate Cupcake. The cake is soft and moist and the icing is the best compliment. It doesn't make it out of the parking lot! I feel like you can't go wrong. The perfect sweet treat after a meal.

Their cheesecake is a must try. Its my favorite cake as they have the perfect combination of sweetness and tanginess. The lemon cake and coconut cake was good too. The lemon flavor is really pronounced. The staffs were helpful and attentive. The decoration could be better.

I absolutely loved this ice cream shop! The service was amazing. All of the employees were super friendly and eager to help. They have a large variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. As well as pre-made cupcakes, cakes, and many more treats. I thought it was super cool that they make the ice a cream in front of you as well. I got a chocolate Oreo milkshake. It was a little bit too chocolatey for me, but I think next time I won’t add the extra syrup! So next time you’re taking a stroll downtown, or grabbing a bite to eat definitely stop here to cool down with some ice cream!

This place is a GEM in downtown Memphis! I got the ice cream donut and it was SOOOOOO good - cool sweet cream ice cream with strawberry jam inside of a warm toasted donut! What a fun mouth experience! My wife enjoyed the chocolate ice cream with PB, PB Cups, and Reese's Pieces!

This place is awesome! My coworkers and I were wanting a sweet treat after a rather disappointing dinner, and Margie’s 901 did not disappoint! The customer service is unlike any other; a family ran restaurant. The ice cream is so creamy, fresh, and packed with flavor! 10/10 recommend to anyone else and will come back if ever in the area again!

We were craving ice cream tonight and thought of no better location than Margie's. We were taken care of by an energetic young man , named D'angelo with great customer service. The manager was also present and they both answered our questions with ease. Would definitely recommend!

Cute, small bakery that has quality items, they have option of ordering online for delivery or pickup as well as walk-in and purchase. Our family sampled several items from her and overwhelmingly the chocolate chipsticks won. My son described it as a fig newton married a chocolate chip cookie. It is soft, buttery, and filled with chocolate and brown sugar flavor. My favorite was the wedding cookies. My husband proffered the cinnamon challah. It truly is the best I have ever had! My oldest son preferred the chocolate crinkle cookies. They were VERY rich and are as if a cookie and truffle merged. My daughter loved the ginger cookies which remind me of Christmas in a cookie. They were soft and filled with spices. My youngest son’s favorite was the pecan bars. It truly is like a pecan pie in easy-to-handle bars. The crust on the bottom was so good. We had mixed reviews on the lemon bars. I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe we just had an older batch that was a little stale, I am not sure. The more we sampled on it though it was almost addictive but again, some sort of aftertaste that lingered. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was something in the crust. Either way, it is a worthy trip and such delicious confections that we will definitely be back. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend at least once if you love sweets, if not at least send a Tin of chocolate chipsticks to someone you love.

Ricki’s is my all time favorite place to get cookies! We have been ordering her cookie cakes for years now, and they’re always so perfect and delicious. The chocolate chip chipsticks are so uniquely delicious and addicting! I recently tried Ricki’s sourdough, too, and it was wonderful. This is a Memphis must. 🍪 I also want to say how amazing their customer service is. You feel like family when you go in there, and that’s so telling of how they run their business and take care of their customers.

I visited Rickie's today and got a Challah and a carrot cake. My turkey sandwich on Challah was awesome and the carrot cake is the best I have ever had and I have had a lot of carrot cakes over the years . Definitely a five star!

Ricki's consistently has the best hamantashen in the country. I send them to friends and families across the country for Purim. Her cinnamon challa is amazing. Everyone goes crazy over it. I bought these chocolate chip biscotti on a whim last time I was going through Memphis, and they are absolutely addictive. It was sort of an impulse buy, but now I adore them.

Hands down best cookies I have ever had. All other cookies you have after Ricki's will be a huge disappointment. I would drive across the country for Ricki's cookies if I needed to.

I stopped by today to pick up my baby shower cake and realized I ordered the wrong size. They were more than accommodating and offered to make a new one on the spot. I’m not sure of the young lady’s name that helped me, but her customer service was stellar! You rarely get that type of service these days, and it was very refreshing. She was the sweetest and really made my day.

Crystal rung in the purchase and amber is the one who clearly disregards direction! I received the wrong Bundt cake and offered to fix and remedy, they said no it’s not possible soon as it leave the store! The cake was purchased at 5:13pm on today. Between the drive home and calling them 6:05pm soon as we realized the wrong purchased! My solution is having a remedy when loyal customers buy and will stopping from a store with no remedy policy!

Ordered a 8 inch carrot cake and 10 inch classic vanilla. I love that I was able to walk in order cakes and ready within minutes. Both cakes were for birthday parties, everyone loved them. I was so happy!! Thank you for my delicious cakes. Y’all gave me something brag about 😬

Unfortunately my experience with this location was not good at all. My husband had a few balloons and cakes delivered to my job for my birthday. Unfortunately the third party delivery service (Uber) that they used sent a driver that had the entire order smelling loudly of marijuana. It was so loud that my staff members and students were noticing the smell and laughing. Unfortunately I had to put the order outside to get rid of the smell and it was quite embarrassing. I did call customer service at this store and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I won’t be eating the cakes and I’m sad my husband wasted money.

Love these cakes. Loads of flavors and they always have a seasonal flavor. No need to call ahead, they have cakes ready. Few different sizes available and they will add a little decoration to the top for a special occasion. Service is great and it's fun to try the samples. Mini buntinis are so yummy. Definitely recommend this place for your adult birthday parties.

Melt-in-your-mouth icing, freshly baked just right these Bundt Cakes are delectable. A favorite to share amongst family or just because events, the mini bundtlets are just as good these Bundt Cakes make you want to bite someone's hand off if they try to get a piece. always keep my card so that I can make sure I get my free bundlet. My favorite is the white chocolate raspberry and lemon and the white chocolate popcorn is tasty also. update: last couple visits bundt cakes overcooked...too brown and a bit more on the spongy side. icing still delicious

Atmosphere is cute, staff were friendly, place was clean. The ice cream has a good texture, but the flavor is lacking. We tried birthday cake, macadamia nut, and caramel & butterscotch. All flavors were very light and left us wanting more. Birthday cake was definitely the best, but the other two flavors were largely flavorless.

We’ve been enjoying Levee creamery for several years. It’s a wonderful homemade feel good kind of place. And we really like the location. Our only complaint is that it can be a little over priced. We got to-go ice cream pints last night and really enjoyed it. All of their foods and coffees are delicious.

We quickly stopped here after dinner for desert. They have coffee and ice cream. You can sample before you actually order. They have many unique, and different flavors to choose. Ultimately I got the chocolate one in waffle cone. The chocolate was great, and it was not too sweet. Overall, it was a good ice cream.

This is a very nice spot, but I feel there always seems to be some kind of inconsistency with the service or coffee. Sometimes the coffee is extremely sweet for the same thing that I order. I'd like for them to work on the younger girls that work there because they aren't usually that friendly but the guys are to be honest. I still do recommend this place. The kids love coming.

This is the coolest place for good ice-cream. This trendy-modern Hot Spot is a must pass through. For some tasty cream and smooth coffee. I take it that you can visit early mornings and late evenings. The place is super sharp inside floors tables/chairs and ceilings are new, fresh and clean. The ladies working this Monday night were super sweet. Smiles on friendly staff. We were able to taste flavors available that night. There are pre-package pints available as well. So I picked the waffle cone with the Tennessee Turtle and Pistachio. My son Vanilla Cotton Cream and Fruit Loop infusion and daughter-in-law the Grizz and Grind. Flavors were true to their name. I will return for the coffee and the expresso poured over the ice cream w/flavored syrup. “Affogato”

We had the Pistachio Gelato, Stracciatella Gelato and Chocolate Gelato. All the gelato was delicious, especially the Pistachio. It had the most flavored and they didn't add any food coloring. This place serves true gelato. The chocolate had a mild chocolate flavor. I like the little cone they put on top the bowl of gelato. The girl at the counter was nice, welcoming and helpful. The next time we return to Memphis, we are definitely going to Zio Matto. I highly recommend the Pistachio Gelato, it was the best.

We tried 2 different "ice-cream" shops this evening in town. Both small batch freshly made. But this place was definitely Superior! Better Taste! Better Value! My son who already got icecream at the other shop was disappointed that he had already gotten ice cream at the other place! The employee here was very patient while I tried many of the flavors. I have lots of food sensitivities and I was trying to avoid causing an upset stomach. I ended up choosing mint chip and wild strawberry! And oh my goodness I was in Heaven!!!! As a child I would visit Maine and pick wild strawberries and to my delight this sweet treat was truly a treat and very refreshing!!! My oldest son and my husband had different flavors and loved theirs as well. They mentioned how rich and tasty theirs was! Even with the cold windy weather it was so enjoyable!!! Thank you again for the delicious end to our day! I will recommend you to everyone who visits the area!

Best sorbet ever! The strawberry and mango sorbet tasted very naturally sweet and fruity, like it’s was juiced and frozen! Would definitely recommend!

Zio Matto Gelato is one of the most bright and clean gelateria in Memphis downtown. The signage, equipment and menu all look promising, except the samples and gelato cone bought all tastes like melting whipped mousse instead of gelato. Not a fan of gelato nor the upgraded cone. I’m afraid this let down was enough for me skip the next time when in town.

This place ice cream was really good, mine was tiramisu and I really enjoyed it. Juliaa was great at taking care of every one in a convenient time with a beautiful smile on her face 😊 thank you!

I ordered for the first time from Sweet LaLa’s Bakery and had a great experience. The staff was mindful of what I needed, and made a rush order for a birthday possible. When I picked the cake up, I was greeted by a warm, modern atmosphere, and smiling faces. I was able to meet the manager, Robin, who was on site, and even purchased a gluten free rice krispy treat (I’m on a diet 🥲). The cake was delicious, and my mother loved it. Greeted when we walked in. Very clean and nice looking inside. Everything is presented well. I'm not a big fans of sweets but the Oatmeal Raisin cookies are some of the best cookies I have ever had in my life. Everyone should try them or something from here at least once.

I recently visited Sweet Lala’s Bakery with my friends and experienced a disappointing lack of customer service. Despite there being at least three employees present (all Caucasian) none of them greeted or acknowledged us during our visit. Also, two I them were just chatting with each other as they ignored us. My friends and I, who are African American, waited silently for about a minute while walking around the store, but since no one spoke to us or offered assistance, we decided to leave without making a purchase. This experience left me feeling ignored and unwelcome, which is especially disheartening in a customer-focused environment like a bakery. Update: A response to the the company responding to my review . They claim they like to let people browse. They did not SPEAK when we came in. How is that making me feel welcomed? I journeyed near the counter and still no one spoke.

I had the best experience I've had in a long time. The cheesecakes were amazing. I honestly can't tell you which one was my favorite. We had the key lime, cookie dough, strawberry and the turtle cheesecake. The flavors were rich and flavorful. We also had the cookies and the lemon berry scones. Everything was good. The owner was so nice too! I will definitely be back soon.

DVOUR’s cheesecake was a total hit at my birthday celebration—just as I expected! I ordered three boxes with a mix of flavors: German Chocolate, Bourbon Butter Pecan, Strawberry, Key Lime, and Lemon Blueberry. The whole process was seamless, and everything was delivered right on time. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was even better! My guests couldn’t stop asking where the cheesecake came from—and as much as I wanted to keep it my little secret, I had to share. Everyone deserves some amazing cheesecake!

Stopped by this dessert shop while visiting Crosstown Concourse. I really like the setup and the offerings the place had when I visited it. They have gelato and sorbet (obviously) but they also had cookies, brownies, and cakes for sale in addition to the frozen treats. They offered milkshakes and drinks too and you could even take the gelato and make a cookie sandwich or float, if desired. Unfortunately, their machines were down when I visited so they were only able to take cash and I did not have any on me. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars. I plan to visit again in the future and rate it based on actually trying one or more of their offerings.

I enjoyed the strawberry /mango gelato. A cool, soothing treat at the end of a pretty hot day. I like the ambience of the place.

One of the good gelato places in Memphis. The ladies work here are very sweet. We got ourselves an affogato with chocolate gelato. That was pretty decent. Another suggestion from the staff was to have the espresso gelato. I took that in waffle cone. It was also pretty decent. I have obviously eaten better gelatos elsewhere, but this place is also pretty decent one. I recommend them if you are looking for some gelato in the Memphis area.

This place is so great! K.D. was incredible and patient as we couldn’t decide between all the options! They make it in-house AND have non-dairy/vegan options (which is epic as my son is lactose intolerant). Cannot recommend enough!

We tried Sweet Magnolia Gelato Co for the first time today. We tried the cookies and crème milkshake with whipped cream and it was delicious. The milk shake a nice cool and refreshing treat especially on these hot Memphis summer days. There are vegan options (Chocolate and Pineapple Mango Sorbets). Some Gelato flavors are Whiskey Pecan, Praline Almond, Stracciatella, Banana Pudding, Delta Butter Pecan, Cookies N Cream, and Espresso.

Waited 10 minutes for someone to help us so I called the number. Waited another 5 and no one came. I called back and the guy who answered was unprofessional, yelled at me for calling back, and told me to go somewhere else. I hope everyone else has much better luck with the service.

Had a delicious lunch at the new bakery in Overton Sq., Jacques Louise. 100% Gluten Free! The Quiche Lorraine was savory with a perfect flaky crust. The Matcha with a Bramble Patch syrup Latte was delicious on a warm June day. I ate half of the most delectable lemon tart, again the crust was perfect GF! I bought a Cinnamon Roll with Apple Pie topping to go. So many wonderful breads, pastries and cookies to choose from. I will be going back soon! My gluten free peeps are going to love Jacques Louise. If you're not GF, you will love it too!😋

As someone who’s watched my mom stay dedicated to being gluten-free for 13 years, we were both excited when Memphis finally got its first all gluten-free bakery. She saw a photo of their cinnamon roll online, and the joy on her face was instant — this was the one. We planned our visit for a Saturday, which also happened to be my birthday. She joked that it was her birthday too, “because she pushed me out.” That alone made the trip feel special — until we actually ate. Let’s talk about that cinnamon roll. We expected something warm, soft, gooey, maybe even nostalgic. What we got instead was dry — disappointingly, surprisingly dry. It didn’t have the tender texture of a classic cinnamon roll, nor the sweetness or buttery melt-in-your-mouth swirl. Instead, it felt more like a dense, crumbly roll that had been sitting out too long. Pair that with drinks that didn’t deliver either — bland and unmemorable — and the entire experience felt like a letdown, especially given the boutique prices. We wanted to love it. We needed to love it. But we left feeling disappointed. As much as I respect what they’re trying to do (and we love supporting gluten-free businesses), this one missed the mark. We’re hoping they improve their recipes and textures — because the gluten-free community deserves treats that taste like treats.

If I could have a love affair with the cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese, I would. Absolutely incredible and the Best Gluten free cinnamon roll I've ever had! I also tried the blueberry muffin, blueberry scone, snickerdoodle cookie, and a hot latte with vanilla syrup and almond milk. It was all very good and worth the special trip I took to give this bakery a try. If you or a loved one is gluten free, GO get yourself a sweet treat and thank me later. I look forward to trying all menu items and placing cake orders for upcoming events!

I had a bacon scone and peach iced tea. Both were fantastic! As a gluten free person it is so novel to be able to look at pastries and know they're all safe for me to eat! We'll be back, can't wait to bring my kid and try the cinnamon rolls!

This place is soooooo gooooood! Thank you for a GF option in Memphis. Also, I think this is the best coffee I've ever had.

I visited Gus to try out their sides. I ordered fried okra, Mac n cheese, Cole slaw and fried green tomatoes and a slice of sweet potato pie. Pros: service was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I was initially told my order would take 15 minutes but it took less time than that and my food was piping hot when I received it. The pie was my favorite of all the dishes and the ranch dressing they served with the tomatoes and fried okra was excellent. Cons: Macaroni was expensive for the portion size. It was very small. It wasn’t my favorite. Cheesy but a lil too thick for me (my son liked it). The okra and tomatoes were not as enjoyable because they smelled and tasted like chicken or like it could have been cooked in chicken grease. I didn’t really taste the flavor of the tomato or the okra. I tasted mostly grease. Overall, my bill was a bit high for just sides…about 28.00. Overall, I would definitely recommend the pie and maybe even the coleslaw (although I enjoyed it more after adding the ranch dressing).

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Definitely feel let down by the 6000 overwhelmingly positive reviews here. I get that some places are an institution, and perhaps Gus's used to be amazing. But the experience we had was awful. Service took forever, the food was overpriced and overcooked. And it was a terrible value. For example, a large order of fries was $8.50, and they were straight out of a frozen bag with a tiny bit of seasoning. Literally McDonald's fries are better, so there is no justification for the price. All of the chicken was also over cooked. So if you thought that fried chicken couldn't be dry, think again. At the end of the day, I would strongly not recommend.

We decided to try Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken for dinner, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered the two-piece plate and swapped the baked beans and slaw for fried rice and potato salad — best decision ever. The chicken was crispy on the outside, super moist, and perfectly cooked — juicy with just the right amount of spice. The sides were flavorful and fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. A must-try if you’re visiting Memphis — this place truly earns its “world famous” title! 🍗🔥

Service was fantastic (Thanks to Shorty). We thought the chicken was good, baked beans very good. The mac and cheese and coleslaw were decent. The chocolate chess pie was good. The chicken wasn't our favorite, but it was very good and worth eating there for sure. You also get to keep your plastic cup and the iced tea was really good.

No trip to Memphis is complete without fried chicken from Gus's. The menu is simple, fried chicken, beans and cole slaw. Loved this place! Southern cooking and fabulous fried chicken. Very busy, small inside. The chicken was incredible fall of bone tender and the slaw and beans made the plate just right!!! 100% recommend!

Essentially this joint may have created some of the best fried chicken I have ever had anywhere in the United States, and after lots of recommendations from both locals and travelers, I can safely recommend it to others as well. The fact that they cook their fried chicken in peanut oil and still manage to maintain food taste and quality is quite impressive, especially considering many have not been able to replicate such. To start with, every piece of fried chicken, whether dark meat or white meat, was extremely juicy and flavorful, despite not the biggest in size. They do equip each table with a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce, which I ended up using for my chicken sandwich. Speaking of the chicken sandwich, it was an upgraded version of the Popeye's type for sure, and I am saying that as a Popeye's loyalist. It was impeccable. The fried green tomatoes were also very seasoned and maintained the right amount of crunchiness with the crust. Many of the sides ranging from the mac & cheese to the fried okra to the baked beans have been tasty in the most conventional sense as well, especially the fried okra, which was right on in terms of its crunch to softness ratio. The only relatively okay item was the greens, which was understandable since it's hard to cook greens in mass in a restaurant setting. It was a bit plain which might have been caused by the amount of juice it contained. The catfish sandwich tasted more like an upgraded version of filet-o-fish rather than containing actual catfish. The combination of the sauce and the fish (the way they cooked it along with the crust) was giving McDonald's quite a bit. I can see how it can turn some people off. I wasn't bothered by it, though. Regardless, for anyone visiting Memphis I would strongly recommend this establishment. Even among all the food options around the downtown area, especially barbeque, I stuck to fried chicken twice while in Memphis, which spoke to how good the food here was at Gus's.

The reviews of the food here are pretty accurate! The Fried Chicken is AMAZING! I’ve been on a mission throughout the East Coast and venues like Kiki’s (Columbia, SC ), Fowl Play (Gallatin, TN), Champ’s (Chattanooga, TN) have really stood out among the their peers! Gus’s really stands out too for their spicy fried chicken. I ordered the 3 piece white plate with fried rice and baked beans. The beans were outstanding but the rice was nothing to rave about. I actually made room for dessert and had the coconut pie a la mode and that was definitely a hit! My server was Whitney, and she was incredible! This is definitely a must visit if you’re in Memphis!

Just checked out Gibson’s Donuts in Memphis and they did not disappoint. I had a blueberry and a glazed—both were fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The blueberry had the perfect sweetness, and the glazed just melts in your mouth. They’ve got a ton of options—red velvet, apple fritters, maple bacon, and more. Chill vibe and friendly staff. Definitely a must if you’re in Memphis.

Easter Sunday late afternoon. Staff seemed tired and ready to go home. But they were helpful and even gave me a free glazed doughnut as a 1st time customer. Even though I didn't know until I heard the customers after me ask and receive. So I asked after the fact and was given a half dirty look along with it. The prices were fair. The show cases were understandably picked over due to the lateness of the day. Was I glad I drove across town based on high recommendations? Yes, delicious!!! One tonight after dinner, saving 2 for tomorrow's breakfast.

I told the guy that it was my first time and he made it a wonderful experience I’ll remember for a lifetime and also gave me a free donut! Their donuts are fresh and have so many varieties. They’re always packed and I can’t wait to go back to Memphis and have more! Very inexpensive. $3 for 2 donuts!

We heard about Gibson's Donuts on YouTube and people said they were the best. So we went to try them. They are ok but not the best. Service was great, fast and very friendly. It was a good experience. Donuts were just ok. Have been to many that are better. But it was great to see.

I arrived at 9am but ordered lunch food. Sat at counter. Wasn’t crowded or noisy on a Tuesday morning. Lexi was my server, and she was outstanding. The whole staff seemed very nice and professional. I had deluxe grilled cheese sandwich and chili. Chili was average, but I was disappointed in sandwich. I could barely see the cheese and couldn’t really taste it. Although food was just ok, I gave them 5 stars because service was excellent.

Very nostalgic feel to this restaurant, like taking a trip down memory lane. I ordered the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich and avocado toast. The avocado toast was my favorite. It came with feta cheese, red onions, black olives and an order of hash browns. The portion sizes were decent. Service was rather quick and the servers were friendly. Cons: The famous peanut butter and banana sandwich was just that: a peanut butter and banana sandwich, nothing extraordinary. It’s cool that it was a staple for Elvis’ but honestly my son didn’t even finish it and he loves peanut butter sandwiches. We also noticed what appeared to be pieces of avocado on the peanut butter sandwich which wasn’t cool. As for the hash browns, they were good but not hot.

It’s old! But it was one of the remaining restaurants from early Memphis days. We had the breakfast, better or as good as any place! The biscuit and gravy were perfect! And the grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich that Elvis went there to eat was liked by all 5 of us as we cut it into portions! It definitely worth the time and comparative cost to eat there, but go before 3pm or it’ll be closed!

The Arcade diner should be the first stop to everyone's weekend when downtown. The classic American diner features an extensive list of breakfast options as well as Elvis Presley's favorite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. I personally recommend ordering your customized omelette with 5 ingredients of your choice. It's an absolute guilty pleasure--oily, meaty, hearty, and melty paired with hashbrown and two biscuits with gravy. Generous portions to fill two bellies. The Hibiscus salad is a huge portion and my favorite healthy item on the menu. The staff here are all extremely friendly. Great value and will definitely get you full, honey.

Got recommended this place for a quick breakfast while I was passing through town, glad for it. Very lovely retro style diner in a pretty nice part of town. Waitress told me the french toast here was special so I ordered some with strawberries and a latte. I was not disappointed, these really are special. The hashbrowns were undercooked, but I got a refund on them so we're all square. Also apparently Elvis was a regular here at some point, I didn't know that going in so the elvis merch and decor in the front room was a little confusing at first.

Sunday morning may be too busy to expect a good service, but we waited at our table for more than 40 minutes to get our food. I found both dishes fat and tasteless, but that could be influenced by the temperature as it arrived stone cold. It’s a classic diner with a great history.

Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very nice!!! While my intention was to get an entree, we got the fried green tomatoes, wings and bbq egg rolls (which were so good)! Three stars for rating of food as one of my chicken wings was not cooked all the way and it could use a bit more seasoning. (I typically get wings fried hard, so that’s my fault.) We got the Maple Brown Butter Old Fashioned (which was a bit too sweet and needed a bit more bitters added) and the Maid of the Mist (which is filled with strawberry’s and blueberries). Dessert was the Maple Bread Pudding, which my husband said was awesome! I would definitely visit again!

The service was amazing and the atmosphere was everything! The regular menu food was good but there new brunch menu was lacking. The breakfast potatoes were very bland and some of them were too hard. The brioche French toast was delicious to my son but to me, i didn't like the egg on the outside. The biscuits were very dry, definitely not grandma approved. I know that they are trying something new so i won't knock them for that. The steak and poached eggs however were amazing!

Ordered take out. Buffalo tenders meal, kids tender meal and a fish plate. Food looked/tasted old or redropped or both maybe. Had tortilla chip crumbs in my fries with my tender meal but didn’t order any tortilla chips??!? Fries were soggy and old. Let’s not even start on the “tenders”!! Very disappointed!! Guess only dine in order quality is cared about?!

The bottle Modelo beer had a skunky taste meaning it was close to or past its expiration date. I ordered fish and chips and they didn’t have malt vinegar. Otherwise the food was excellent. The Mac and cheese was superb. The chicken wings was tasty and perfectly season. The cheese bites and sauce was magically delicious according to my granddaughter.

I tried Kooky Canuck based on a suggestion and it was worth the visit. The staff is incredibly friendly. I had the Canuck Donair and it was delicious. It comes as two wraps with doner beef, a sweet sauce, onion and tomatoes. I had the sweet potatoe fries as a side and they were spot on in flavor. The beers are incredibly large and they have a great selection of drinks. This is a great spot to hang with friends for some good food and drinks.

My husband and I were looking for a place near our hotel, The Canopy, and we stumbled upon Kooky Canuck, and we are so glad we did! This place is great—it has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Our bartender was fantastic; he was so nice, pleasant, and friendly, which really made our visit special. I am a huge fan of mojitos, and their strawberry mojito is an absolute must-have; it's hands down my favorite! I ordered the beef stroganoff, and while it's a solid, good dish, I would have loved a little more meat and a little less salt, but overall, it was delicious. We had such a great time and would highly recommend stopping by.

They made a great old fashioned to start. Then the Pierogi appetizer which was rich and creamy with bits of bacon and sauté onion. We weren’t too hungry so the wife and I shared the prime rib stroganoff and it was fantastic. The prime rib was fork cutting tender and the sauce was perfect. We will be back again to try something else.

2 minutes ago Atmosphere is really nice. Diner style. It’s a staple restaurant on Beale Street. Waitress was very sweet. It took a while for the food to come out. After reading the reviews and seeing 4/5 stars.. I thought we would be in for a treat…not the case. Burger was bland..nothing to talk about…onions, bacon, cheese, mustard squirted on the bun…just all over the place for a simple burger…the famous, freshly cut seasoned fries were not great (if they cut them a little thicker maybe that would do it) and the onion rings were greasy. Scratched that one off our list while visiting Memphis. 20% gratuity added and for what??? Wasn’t worth the money paid. Will not be returning. My homeade burgers taste better.

The staff was warm and welcoming when we entered. Our waitress was spot on with the water, milk shakes which were the best. We ordered a chocolate and strawberry shake and we both thought they were the best ever. Next we both ordered the triple burger combo, which didn't disappoint. Now remember these are deep fried so expect a little grease, just wipe it off with a napkin like we did. The flavor was awesome with grilled onions, pickles and mustard was prefect condiments to the burger. Now the hand cuts fries were also great and they use a seasoned salt in them, if you dont want it let your waitress know. For bring able to say we tried it, mission accomplished. Let's address the floor which could use a cleaning and the bathrooms as well. Those are my only complaints. Support your locally-owned businesses so they stay in our communities.

I’m giving five stars because the burgers and fries were not a let down. They were very good. The service not so much. One waitress stopped at our table and asked if we needed anything, asked for refills and she said “I’ll tell her “ and walked away to get on her phone. Rude but at least ho eat the burger.

Wonderful experience! Visited for lunch on a Monday morning, right at 11am when they opened. Some of the best burgers we've ever had! Our waitress was attentive and sweet too. Highly recommend visiting!

The food is great for the price. The service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is laid back and more family friendly than other locations on the strip. If I swing back by here I will stop again.

Dyer’s Burgers on Beale Street is a Memphis legend, frying up thin, crispy-edged patties in the same seasoned grease since 1912. The burgers are juicy, packed with old-school flavor, and pair perfectly with fresh-cut fries or a fried bologna sandwich. No frills—just great food, local history, and a taste you won’t forget.

The Second Line was pretty good for brunch. I was dissapointed in the limited menu though, I should have gone later for some of the menu items I saw online and wanted to try. We had one bloody mary, one tea, wings as an appetizer, a fried shrimp poboy and a fried oyster poboy. The bill was around $72 before adding the tip. Our server was really nice, no complaints with service! They were working on the store so it was a little confusing to find the entrance. We had reservations for the patio and it was perfect outside, just lots of flies buzzing about. I'd go back, but I think there are so many awesome options in Memphis it may not be anytime soon.

A fun authentic place with an active bar scene, even in the middle of the afternoon, with authentic Southern food. I was there on a Saturday afternoon in August and was impressed that locals were hanging out at the bar in addition to a sizable crowd of restaurant patrons. I was part of large group of people of all ages, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. As a visitor to the area, I was delighted to have classic Southern food such as fried gulf oysters and fried catfish sandwiches as options. Parking was difficult which is to be somewhat expected as the place in Midtown Memphis, and while I eventually found parking on a side street, the neighborhood has parking restricted to residents only on several areas.

Great spot for Po Boys in Memphis. Great selection of sandwiches and drinks/beer, fun setting and very good staff. Well worth the visit. Went for the muffaletta - but would probably go for the friend oyster next time!

Yesterday was my first time at Second line and they didn’t disappoint. Lock was awesome (and it was only his 2nd day!) and Sophie was super helpful. I was so full I didn’t get to order the bread pudding, but that’s okay. I’ll definitely be back for it! Pictured: etouffée, New York strip with crawfish Mac and cheese, drinks were “when the levee breaks” i think. (They were similar to a hurricane)

The destination was supposed to be New Orleans, but it was nowhere close to Cancun food. The meal was served at room temperature, considering the lengthy wait time, despite being one of only three patrons. The floor was sticky to walk on. The server was satisfactory, and the straws were already in the beverages; however, I prefer to open and place my own straw. Workers entered without a greeting. We will not be returning.

My husband and I came to brunch for my birthday today and it was amazing! Our server was Jo and she did a fantastic job! She was super sweet and attentive. The food was also superb. Seriously the best shrimp and grits I have ever had!

I really had a great time. They have a real bartender, all the drinks was the bomb 💣, Food was delicious 🤤 and the music was great. People they wasn't afraid to talk to each other 🤗. My friend and I had a great time. I do plan to go back soon.

“I died and went to Heaven!” Exclaimed my son’s dad after 1 bite of the fried chicken at Alcenia’s. That was just the first of many positive comments regarding the food at this place. And that’s without mentioning the most pleasant people serving us including the owner. This is the way dining should happen. Great food, great service, great camaraderie with other patrons. We are passing through from Phoenix to Philadelphia to take my son to college and needed a place to eat. We didn’t think we would eat too much so were going to share but ended up ordering extra food while we were there to take with us on the road! And we had to take a pie too! We each got a kiss on the head and heard her tell others about the recipes in her book. I didn’t even mention the scrumptious peach ice cream we got to sample!! We were so full but the food was SO good it was hard to stop. How they get the chicken so tender and keep the coating so crispy, is beyond imagine, and the flavor was the BEST I have ever had in my 55 years! Then there was the gravy, fritters, yams … I could go on and on!! I will definitely come back to Memphis just to go to Alcenia’s!! It was our pleasure to get the opportunity to eat there and we are blessed to have met her! Thank you TJ!

Our food was good (pork chip, catfish, mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread). The building is very cute with the eclectic seating. The owner is sweet and gave her an infamous hug after ordering. I was worried about parking but they have signs with dedicated parking for their patrons.

I like to support small black owned businesses. I will pull up to a bbq grill on the corner or food truck to support. Yesterday I decided to try Alcenia's. I saw it while working a conference downtown, and when I was looking for fried pork chops to eat, I thought I would try it. I went on the website to check out the menu. WARNING: The prices on the site do not match what you will pay at the restaurant! When I saw fried pork chops, I figured that it came with 2 pork chops, but when I called in my order, I found the dinner came with one. For the price, I would usually get 2 chops at other soul food restaurants, but I guess they charge more since they are downtown. Maybe it should say "pork chop plate" instead of it being plural. So I purchased the pork chop plate with Mac n cheese and yams. I wanted a slice of German chocolate cake, but they didn't have any. So I decided to get something outside my regular and try the bread pudding with the bourbon sauce. When I arrived to pay at the restaurant I wasn't expecting the price hike. I would have gone somewhere else to eat. It said $17.95 for the pork chops on the website, but you see on th receipt it actually says pork chop $19.50. The bread pudding is $5 on the website, but in store, it's $8 plus $0.50 for the bourbon sauce. The container wasn't full for the price. The cashier just said that she doesn't know why they won't update the prices. I did ask about how much an extra pork chop was, and I was told $8.50. Now to the taste. The yams were good. The Mac n cheese lacked cheese, sauce, and flavor and was kind of dry. The flavor of the pork chop is in the batter, but the batter was falling off when I started to eat it. This is a thick pork chop if you like them thick. The chop itself was not seasoned and kind of dry. The bread pudding bread was a little tough at the top but got more moist and soft towards the bottom. Do not eat the bourbon sauce if you are a former alcoholic, can't drink alcohol while on the job, or if you don't want to have a buzz in the middle of the day. This sauce is a straight shot of bourbon. Someone will smell liquor on your breath after eating it. I'm glad I just did a little sip. For the price, it was not worth it to me. I was looking at the pictures of the catfish, and I like the larger fillets, but how much will it cost and what other sides would I try? I'm not sure if I will give them another try. But I just wanted you all to know you need to call and check prices. Do not go by the website. There is plenty of street parking.

I was there with a group of family and friends because two of the family and friends were from Seattle and had not been back in a while. Even though BJ got on me and said it took our friend from Seattle to get me back to Alcenias. BJ just didn't remember me coming wink wink. It was a good day to go. There wasn't a crowd even though we made a reservation just in case. The food was fabulous and one of our guests was a young man who stated he had never had good cooking like this anywhere. His mom gave him the side eye. We had a variety of dishes with 5 guests. There was no complaints. Everything was satisfactory. We loved the upgrades of the decorum. Very nice. Praying for only the best for this place BJ. And I will be back with my hubby so that he can try you guys out as well. Be blessed!

This restaurant came highly recommended via social media and did not disappoint. Flavorful food, great portion sizes, and warm atmosphere. Memphis cuisine is great if you know where to go. This is a definite stop by place. Perfect place to reunite with a past motivator, mentor, and friend.

My favorite appetizer is the butter tasting. I'm a big bread and butter girl, and they change the butter occasionally. I tried the blueberry lemons drop that all the other reviews are talking about and it was pleasant, more on the tart/sour side but a tasty drink. This time I got the shrimp and grits. The dish was delicious. I felt the portion size for this dish was small, but then I quickly realized it was reflected in the price. I would love an option with more, and I don't mind if it affects the cost; the dish was SO GOOD. I was hungry again a couple of hours after dinner. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. This restaurant has a low-light and intimate seating vibe. It's perfect for a date night or a dinner to catch up with friends. Next time I'm trying the ribeye!

Went on my mom's birthday. We were accommodated, due to last minute guests. It took a while to order... Although some staff appeared a little in distress, everyone was satisfied at the end.

Okay, this is going to be a long one. Stay with me for a moment. This place is the pinnacle of affordable steak houses. I ordered the char filet and if you are like me and have heard the expression a steak that melts in your mouth. This is the place. It was butter steak heaven goodness. This is the steak I assume Jesus will serve in heaven it was so magnificent. The flavor and char on the steak was so supreme. I will eat here again and I will bask in these flavors again. If you want a steak to blow your mind this is the one.

Char hits a lot of high points for a fine dining restaurant. There is ample parking in the nearby area. The atmosphere is dim and cozy with considerate and friendly staff who never let your drink reach empty. There's a nicely sized drink menu and cocktails with plenty of meal pairing options. The food is really good, nothing super unique or "magical" as fine dining goes, but fresh and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend checking them out for a nice night out/date night. A+

We were there for my friend’s birthday dinner and it was an amazing experience! Our waitress Makayla was EVERYTHING! She was super sweet, very attentive, very informed as well. She made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. I had the lamb which was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The only thing is I wish I could’ve ordered a side of grits but that’s really a minor thing. I 100% can’t wait to go back.

We recently held a rehearsal dinner event at Acre - 50 for dinner then 120 for dessert and drinks. The entire event was literally perfect. The seating for dinner was in two rooms, nicely laid out; later, we used the bar and the entire patio for guests. The patio was particularly nice with votive candles in between stones in the patio wall. The food was amazing - so hard for 50 - but all three entrees were beautifully prepared, hot, and served with delicious side orders. The salad and dessert was very good as well. The bar was well organized and kept up with the guests as they arrived. The event planning was detailed, and the service was extremely good, this was a well executed plan. I would not hesitate to have Acre plan your event or just your dinner!

What a wonderful dinner! Morgan at the bar mixed excellent cocktails. Everything I had was so delicious! Gnocchi, tuna, octopus, gnudi, quail, carrots. All SO good. I recommend going with a group of 3-4 people so that you can get a few bites of lots of different things.

It was a lovely anniversary dinner. Bartender makes an excellent dirty martini but I would love to see a nicer/fresher olive or option of blue cheese stuffed. Our favorite food items were the carrots for the table and the sea bass. Everything was delish in a beautiful, romantic setting.

Morgan was an absolute pleasure. She had amazing recommendations and drink suggestions. I had the ribeye and you better be hungry as it's huge. Correctly cooked and very tender. The duck confit casserole was amazing. Parking is in the back and if you show up when they open, you probably won't need a reservation. Sit at the bar and Morgan will entertain you. I will come here again.

One of Memphis’s fine gem restaurant. Great steaks, cooked exactly how we like it, the cocktails also excellent. And their desserts are mouth watering. I would highly recommend.

This was my second time to Acres and each time has been great! The restaurant is small but intimate. The staff is polite and the service is quick. This visit I had the Mixed Green Salad, Grilled Duck Breast, Sticky Toffee Date Cake. The food was great and cooked perfectly.

really fresh food, i splurged on the sea bass and it was worth it, crisped perfectly yet buttery soft underneath. it’s not exactly spicy asian food but more fine dining westernized with asian influence - so know that going in. either way if this type of cusine is your cup of tea you will love it. my wife had the tofu but the only thing she didn’t like was it came out as a big steak tofu rather than smaller pieces we were used to

Salmon and tuna special were fantastic, well balanced, flavorful, & inspired!! Love the classics as well calamari, ginger donuts & flourless chocolate cake. Service was exemptions as always!!

Tsunami is the most consistently excellent restaurant in Memphis and Shelby County IMO. The Sea Bass with Black Thai Rice is my favorite dish. I have never had Sea Bass as awesome or in the same league as Tsunami’s. Tsunami is my wife and I’s favorite restaurant. Tsunami is a great family owned restaurant with a great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I highly recommend Tsunami.

Very chic establishment in the heart of Cooper-Young. The server was attentive and the drinks were stiff. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy potstickers and bacon wrapped dates. The meatballs were good as well.

We attended a dinner here for a group of 26. The food and drinks were exquisite and the service was exceptional. The staff was highly responsive to diners with special dietary needs. Highly recommended.

Exceptional, we loved it! We have the meatball appetizer (yum) and the potstickers - the dough was light and buttery and the potstickers were just the right amount of spicy. My son had the black bean soup, it was such a lovely creamy texture. I had the sea bass, it was cooked perfectly. My fam said the fish tacos were awesome, and I tasted the pasta myself, it was perfect! Desert was also amazing - we shared the creme brulee and the carrot cake was perfect. Our only critique was the flourless chocolate cake, it was a little too cocoa flavored, not rich, more bitter. I stand by "exceptional" because that one flub had no affect on our enjoyment of the meal, the atmosphere, and the wonderful service!

Such a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I were driving to St. Louis and knew we had to stop by. When we walked in, a sweet man wearing a chef’s hat greeted us at the register with such a warm and inviting presence. We ordered the butter cookie and the strawberry cookie, and gosh, they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be coming back.

My gang wanted something sweet but not necessarily some cake so we decided to make a stop here. I have to say I was a little skeptical because of the tragedy that happened here however the customer service of this black owned business totally made up for that. As soon as you stop into this business, it's almost as if you have stepped back into time. What I mean by that is the smell of baking butter hits you like a truck. That smell takes you back in time so when you were a kid and your mom was making a cake or something. That smell just brought back beautiful memories. The lady at the counter is one of the owners I think it's a mom and pop establishment. She was so welcoming to us when we entered the store. She greeted us with love. This is rare! She genuinely seemed happy to see us as if she knew us. We automatically started ordering cookies, and more cookies, and more cookies. Not only did we order cookies we also ordered sweet potato pie. I am so upset with myself that I did not get more than one slice. We wanted some peanut butter cookies as well but they didn't have any out in the display. Her husband was filling the display and we asked him did he have any in the back. He said yes I do. Eventually she asked us where we were from because she could tell we were not from Memphis. We told her we were from Atlanta. She advised that they were thinking about opening up a store here in Atlanta but in due time. We will definitely visit again if ever in Memphis. They also sell the cookies online. On the left hand side of the store there's a memorial for rapper Young Dolph who was tragically killed here at this location. I felt a wave of sadness as I view the pictures, the handwritten notes, and the flowers. God be with him.

FRESH AND CLEAN! Grabbed dinner here last week with some friends. It was my first time and so I didn’t know what to expect. The menu is expansive and full of super fresh, healthy options. There’s also lots of grab and go items. The food is good and the service was excellent. I like the decor as well.

I visited City Silo today and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere—it’s warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. However, I was disappointed to find that the fruit in my child’s meal wasn’t fresh and the green tea served was a Kroger brand. I came to City Silo expecting fresh, organic ingredients and was taken aback by the quality. I take my health and nutrition seriously, and I believe that with the same care and attention given to creating such a wonderful environment, the same effort could be reflected in the food and beverages offered.

A cool looking deli style hip place. You have to order in the counter and they will serve the food at your table. They have many options for salad, sandwich, juice and other drinks, etc. They have plenty vegan and vegetarian options. Both of us got sandwiches with a bag of chip and a side salad . The sandwich was freshly made with fresh ingredients. The side salad was also very fresh and refreshing. I drank one beet juice ( along with other stuff). It was very refreshing. Overall, if you look for quality over quantity - this might be your place.

Wow! This is a Valdi approved joint! I ordered a Hummus Wrap with chicken, sliced avocado along with a side salad, another side salad, sriracha sauce for later in the day so you can see the size, to drink the Expresso Dream. This place is legit! The food is amazing and Vegans and Vegetarians this is your spot, I promise! Service was great (I placed a To-Go order), the place is beautiful and ambience is super nice! Plenty of tables in and outside, parking wasn’t an issue. Healthy food at its best!!! You heard for me! I added their other locations!

City Silo Table + Pantry is hands down the most healthy restaurant Memphis has to offer. Deserving of 5 stars. From spin offs of breakfast classics, salads, acai bowls, hearty bowls, burgers to sandwiches, City Silo's got you covered with both meat and vegetarian substitutions. Their biophilic clean aesthetics speak to the green energy City Silo wants to channel to their space, and I am as happy as a kid on Christmas day. Every city needs a City Silo to change the world of dining out. I tried both their Green Machine salad and Buffalo Tempeh and Sesame Cauliflower bowl with farm raised chicken addition. They were both very tasty. I highly recommend you try their bowls as they are indeed hearty and have you feeling full, energized yet light. City Silo is a self service that has got you covered from coffee, a quick bite to a full meal. Every item on the menu is thoughtfully assembled with your health in mind so that you can walk in with full confidence you made a great choice! Give them a try!

I really enjoy this place, I like there new local it is cozy the food is great and hearty. I had a macha macha macha hot and the hippie breakfast bowl which was delicious. Definitely recommend as a place to eat and just relax.

Stopped in at City Silo and tried the Chicken Salad El Goodo B along with their chocolate cookie with sea salt. The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and filling — a solid balance of protein and greens that left me satisfied without feeling heavy. The chicken salad had great texture and just the right seasoning. The cookie was the perfect finish — rich chocolate with a touch of sea salt that really set it apart. Soft, decadent, and honestly one of the better cookies I’ve had in a while. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere has that clean, healthy vibe without being overdone. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I want something wholesome but still tasty.

Everything here is good! I love the tofu kabobs, and you’d can’t beat a $10 lunch/dinner! The lentils, fries, cabbage, and veggies are all so well-seasoned, and I love the red spicy sauce! I always feel welcome!

This was such an incredible resturaunt experience. The food was so incredibly fresh, tender, well seasoned, and delicious. The guy we interacted with (I think he is the owner) was so friendly and helpful, not just to us but everyone else who was there. The price was so worth the venture. I highly recommend this place.

Wow!! Food was great. Had chicken wings, rosemary fries, lamb shank, turnip greens and rice. The wing order was 3 full wings, smoked and then made crispy. Served with 2 hot sauces. Outstanding!!! The lamb was wonderful. Tender and flavorful. Falling off the bone. The fries could have been a bit crispier but they were delicious. The greens were rough cut and they were greens. Good greens but still greens. The seasoned rice went well with the lamb. Will absolutely go back. Want to get the whole fried fish and the brisket. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend!!!!👍

Very easy to overlook this gem, but I’m glad I found it on Google! The food was excellent and our waiter (possibly the owner) was very kind and friendly. I was honestly surprised to see so few people here on a Friday night because this place deserves to be packed with the quality of food, service, and atmosphere they provide. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family, and I look forward to coming back to try more dishes!

I've now eaten here five times - we keep coming back. Small menu done very nicely. Food is seasoned (not particularly hot) & super tasty. I don't take pictures of dishes in restaurants, but look at the attached pic of the remains of dinner (that included 2 under 12 yr old kids) - and no, we dish not "lick our plates clean," but almost.

I couldn’t wait to take a picture before I started stuffing my face. That mango waffle cone ice cream straight-up tasted like real Indian mangoes. I’d totally recommend it and can’t wait to try their other flavors in-store. Good limited seating area in and outdoors. The in-store items feel so fresh and natural, way better than the usual grocery store stuff. Tasted their strawberry cheese cake and also chocolate. So good

If you love Ben and Jerry’s, it’s worth one visit. Because the prices are crazy!!! It’s quadruple the price you pay when you buy a pint. However, atmosphere is great and flavor is of course great as always. Friendly Staff as well.

Pretty decent non-dairy selection as well as a full spectrum dairy selection. Tons of great waffle cone selections and excellent service. The pavilion outside is nicely decorated and the lobby was clean as well as the serving cabinets. Personally I prefer a little more space when I eat but it wasn't too terrible.

I try to be fair but there comes a time where things have to be better. I’ve been here twice in the past week and each time the service is extremely slow. At the time of me typing this there is literally one person attempting to service a line of 15 people at most. When I initially came in there were at least 4 workers and now there is one. We have to do better to move the line along and to service those who faithfully come here. I would score better but when you experience the same thing over and over again. The score is what you deserve. On top of that I get a hair in my ice cream and it ain’t mine.

I needed an ice cream cake. We rather liked Ben & Jerry’s. So I checked out their website, found out about their size options, flavor pairings, decoration choices. A few days later I decide to order knowing exactly what I need - but only now do I find out - like as the second to last step in their order flow - about them needing 72h notice or lead time. Great, why don’t you start with that key info? They are aware that folks might need it sooner so encourage you to call the store directly. I do. The staff member is a little annoyed, but can get it done in 24h. I arrive the next day, pick up the cake, and only now find out that there is a rush surcharge waiting for me. Nobody mentioned that before, neither the website nor the sales clerk. Alright. The cake looked as described, everyone enjoyed the ice cream part, but the whipped cream frosting was weird, like artificial in flavor - not what you would expect from Ben & Jerry. The kids flat out didn’t eat it. In short, if I need an ice cream cake again, I will make my own, or get anything else, just not another Ben & Jerry’s.

This was the first time that I visited this Ben and Jerry’s location and it was delightful. The store was clean. They sell a variety of Ice Cream Cakes as well as their ice cream cone, and milkshakes. They have a frozen lemonade machine and also sell freshly baked cookies. They have a lot of flavors to choose from which is great. I had a s’mores milkshake and it was delicious. The staff were quick and very kind.

It became my second being to this ice cream 🍨 location seriously come on the menu needs to expand more and I understand people have different opinions on what is consider good and bad it is not too sweet if you don't eat or you are sensitive to diary don't be afraid to try it out .

We came in for the first time for the Dubai Chocolate Sunday. Paying $16 dollars for partially filled cup of mediocre ingredients is absolutely absurd. The service was good and restaurant was clean, but $40 (after tip and tax) for a sweet treat for two is wild.

Stopped by this spot after Panera Bread and tried the watermelon sorbet with chamoy drizzle, plus the chocolate gelato dipped in dark chocolate with Oreo topping. Both were amazing—I absolutely loved the flavors! Definitely coming back.

Great selections, a lil pricey, but worth it

This place should be advertised as the best burger in town!!!! Huey's and kooky canuck got nothing on Sweeden Kream! Burgers are perfectly cooked and full of flavour, they have regular and seasoned fries and both are delicious. They have plenty of options to choose from in their menu such as hot wings, nachos, hotdogs, corn dogs, hot tamales, philly cheese steak, etc. If you order on site, the wait is a little long but you can always call and place your order over the phone. The shakes and snow cones are amazing in the summer, we are a fan of Sweeden Kream, it's a hidden gem in Memphis! Come to Sweden kream You won't regret it seriously!

Food was excellent. I got the cheese burger and fries with a strawberry milk shake. Everything was really good and flavorful. Only reason I’d give 4 stars rather than 5 is we did have to wait quite a while. We ordered two burger combos, two milkshakes, and a kids grilled cheese combo. We waited about 30 minutes on our food even though we were the only customers there . We also visited during a non rush hour time (3pm) . Don’t stop here if you’re in a rush, but it’s well worth the wait if you have time.

I have eaten there on two separate occasions and loved the burgers however yesterday while waiting on my burger, a family of mice came running from behind their bldg. There were a lot of them and my eyes were shocked. Needless to say we won't be going back. I'm sure they are going inside and crawling around.

I was a fan of them at first but my last two encounters have been terrible. First one they messed my entire order up. Second time the burger smelled funny so i didnt eat it . They are pretty expensive So of course i was mad . Just not gonna go back maybe i caught a wrong day

Great little corner burger stop. Expect to wait awhile as all food is made to order but Bayliss and National is a pretty busy interaction that makes for some good people watching. Lots of regulars were waiting in the parking lot with us and there was a great sense of community. Wings and burger were very tasty but the malt and shaved ice will be the reason we return!

Used to eat here as a teen in the early 2000s and was surprised after a recent Google search that they were still open. Went there today and the food was still awesome! Some of the biggest burgers in town and everything was fresh and hot!! The shakes are just whipped to perfection! This is one of the best little places in Memphis to eat at. Its definitely worth many return trips and subsequent belly rubs of pure satisfaction afterwards!

This gem was suggested to me off my beaten path. We ordered the regular burger and fries. You can not judge a book by its cover. This burger was cooked fresh, fully dressed and full of actual flavor. The patty was well seasoned. The fries were fried to crisp perfection while maintaining moisture inside. I did add salt for flavor as I didn't pay the 70 cents for seasoned fries! I enjoyed the burger so much I almost ordered one for lunch tomorrow! Well done Sweden Kream!!

I love crumbl cookies, and I always order from doordash. I decided to go into the store, but I did not know they only accepted cards, and I only had cash on me, so I was disappointed. For some reason, I thought the store would be like a bakery during Christmas time, but it was not. It's a little too modern for me, but the cookies are amazing and the price.

This was my least favorite Crumbl location that I’ve been to. None of the workers acknowledged anyone coming in and there were a line of people just waiting on cookies for a while. I ordered a few single ones and they were all cold, unlike the other Crumbls, where the cookies come out warm. I didn’t like the atmosphere and I didn’t like the cookies. When I got the same cookies at another location they were much better.

One of the bakers seemed very overwhelmed. Which caused him to be rude to the customers. I ordered the Dubai chocolate brownie and he preceded to tell me that they were out. But another baker said we have them. So he said oh those are reserved. Anywho the lady who stepped in and helped with my order made it better. She greeted me with a smile and apologized for the inconvenience. But I will not be returning.

This was our first time trying after hearing lots of good things. The cookies were good. But there was no Hey or anything. We walked in. There was noone on the customer side. And about 6 people working. I walked up to the guy at the counter and he flipped the computer to face us and said order when you're ready then turned around. We did. Only other word that was spoken to us was the name being called out. The outside was cute. The inside was kind of dirty. The floor looked like it hasn't been mopped in at least a week.

Amazingly delicious! My first time visiting Crumbl Cookies and the store is just too cute 🥰. They have different flavors weekly and present them as soon as you walk into the store. The associates are very kind and help you when you have trouble deciding (me lol). I got a taste of the Classic Pink Sugar and the Blueberry Crumb Cake ❤️ both cookies were delicious! However, I especially liked the blueberry crumb cake. It had some fresh blueberry pieces inside and as a topping. 😊

The customer service wasn't pleasant at all here. When we entered, the guy spoke but that was it. We were first time customers so we went in blindly. No one assisted us, the guy in the front just kept making orders, never once asking if we needed help ordering. After a couple of minutes we figured out how to order. We paid & waited for our order which was prompt but still nothing was said to us. We were handed our cookies and we left. Rude is definitely an understatement but the cookies did not disappoint. I will definitely return, I'm hoping that the customer service will be a little better.

This place definitely has a college crowd vibe and decent prices. Just wanted a simple burger and tots so my friend and I came here to eat. The place wasn't crowded at all. We were the only ones there. Ordered our food and we sat in a booth and waited. We can see our food being prepared and it came out hot off the grill. I got the Two Timer and Tots. No complaints about the food. For a quick bite to eat this is the place to go to.

I called the establishment and told them that I received burnt old food and in return I got a response of “I’m the manager I fixed it myself.” These chilli cheese fries are disgusting and also he told me he warmed the fries up in the microwave. I will never order from here again. Oh and the burger burnt and nasty.

This place is strictly for College students.. The food was horrible. They never change their grease you can see it in the fries... I asked for a particular flavor of wings and the wings came without any flavor as you can see.. We also ordered the fried sneaker. I forgot to take pictures but It was black in color they cooked all of the sneaker out of the dough. The dough was very thin and dark. The presentation was horrible..

Cool spot to chill have a drink and hang out with friends. They even have karaoke. Affordable late night eats, cooked to order, so there may be a bit of a wait. Burgers are similar to Dyer burgers but better. Friendly staff.

I spent 72.00 dollars at this restaurant which I I’ll never do again! Lady at the bar was very rude and also the cook! Waited an extra 40 mins for food , when I arrived they did not have 2 of the items I order. The only person that seemed to care was the general manager L.A , who supposedly refunded the whole order and apologized. Also the picture is supposed to be the Midterm meltdown ( with no dang cheese ) NEVER AGAIN!

Unfortunately, Ubees seems to be going down hill really fast. I purchased 2 burgers and 2 orders of "cheese beans" and it cost me $50. The food was ice cold and as I was picking it up at the restaurant I was told to make sure I tip by someone working behind the kitchen. Craziest part of it all was the fact that they now charge $4 to get lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup and mustard on your burger. Take a look at the picture to see the quality of toppings I received.. Ubees used to be the spot for late night food and now its total garbage. You're better off going to Wendy's and getting a 4 for 4.

The food was good, except for the reheated fries, but this place is filthy and the service is terrible. The lady at the counter was on her cell phone when we ordered, and then on her cell phone when she brought us our food. I had to ask for another cup because the one she went to give me was filthy. This place came highly recommended, but we are most likely not going to go back just because of how filthy it was.

Super good! VIsiting Memphis from Houston on my way to Chicago. Saw this place on Google maps when looking for a spot to grab lunch with my friend between hitting museums. Such a great choice! I had the pork carnitas omelette with egg whites. She had the buffalo chicken macro bowl. We also shared on of their power waffles. All of it just amazing! Place was clean. Staff was friendly. Prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Ate the best thing I’ve eaten in a very long time here today… Bedrock is heaven. As someone with many dietary restrictions I was thrilled to have so many choices. We live 8 hours away and I’d drive back for a waffle in a heartbeat. We had the peanut butter banana waffle and a sausage, just egg, and “cheese” waffle sandwich… it was divine. 😋 If you have dietary restrictions (or just like an amazing meal) run to this gem.

Absolutely wonderful. Whole place is DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE plus they offer vegan, vegetarian, keto and macro options. Food is top notch delicious! I have celiac so this was a dream come true for me. My gluten eating boyfriend also enjoyed his meal. Can't wait to come back.

Definitely recommend! The only restaurant I've ever eaten where EVERYTHING on the menu is gluten free! I will definitely be back if I'm in Memphis again!
