Gay bar
Night club
Crews & Tangos is a vibrant gay and lesbian drag bar located in Toronto, known for its lively atmosphere and entertaining performances. This popular spot features two dance floors where DJs spin music, as well as live shows and karaoke nights. It's considered the epicenter of Toronto's drag culture, with many local drag queens launching their careers there. The venue hosts various events, including a six-week long drag race and charity fundraisers that draw large crowds.
Dropped by to celebrate my birthday with some of my friends who also share the same birthday as me. Lovely little institution within the Village and worth a visit again! The drag show was the best part, I'd love to go back and watch it again!
Arin G — Google review
Great vibes, great drag, reasonably priced drinks and a fun time. Was a safe space and had a lively dj. Soundsystem was decent and the bathrooms were individual and relatively clean. The place is well managed. Midas was an amazing performer. Lived for her Kpop numbers!
Donna F — Google review
Finally decided to come here after finding out about the new owner. Every change they’ve made here have been major improvements! It’s an amazing atmosphere with fun staff and great performers such as Baby Bel Bel, Bearda and other local legends! Happy to say I will be adding crews to my bar rotation when going out now.
Neil C — Google review
Best gay bar with drag show in the village. Lena Di Matrix was amazing and the best part of our night, Ivory Towers was amazing as well and gave us everything as the host. Amazing show all around
Sarah — Google review
Crews & Tangos is hands down one of my favorite places in the city. Baby Bel Bel is an absolute star and myself as a massive Lady Gaga fan, I can say she always brings that true Mother Monster energy to the stage. Every time she performs, it’s electric and filled with so much love for the audience. The new management has been incredible too. You can really feel the positive difference. The bar staff is super kind, the drinks are amazing, and the whole vibe just feels welcoming and fun from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why Toronto’s drag scene is so special.
Karan S — Google review
Literally had the best time here this past weekend. It's been quite a while since I stopped by Crews, and what a difference between now and the last time I was here. The place was lively, clean, and well-maintained. You could really feel the community when you walked into the building. They had the friendliest and most professional bar staff that I've encountered in a long time. And don't get me started on the performances. Baby Bel Bel was giving us all LIFE!! I can just tell the new management is REALLY holding it down at Crews! 10/10 will be back.
Matthew G — Google review
Hadn’t been to Crews in a minute but had a blast this past weekend for a bday party! Thrilled to see it going strong under the new management. The drag show as always was the highlight, hosted by the fabulous Baby Bel Bel & an amazing lineup of stunning local queens. So fun!
Jessica S — Google review
Had a fantastic time! Always fantastic shows, and that’s why I keep coming back. Mira Fantasy and Heaven Lee Hytes put on such a great show, and the bar staff made me feel so welcome. Great night, and the renovations give the space a much needed refresh.

Church St. Garage Bar is a popular hangout spot with a unique decor featuring license plates covering one of its walls. By day, it operates as a family-run restobar and transforms into an exciting gay bar at night. Since its establishment in 2013, it has become known for its themed events and vibrant atmosphere. The menu offers a great selection of pub grub and an impressive variety of beers on tap. Customers have praised the attentive and friendly service, as well as the delicious cocktails available.
i come here all the time, this place has a great patio, good pub food, wide variety of drinks, and fun drag performances pretty much every day. oh and they do brunch and it’s pretty good too (: today i sat on the patio in the sun with my laptop and had a coffee and the spinach and artichoke dip. dip was great, loved it with the pita chips!!

Excellent experience. Servers were all friendly. The drag show was amazing. There was no cover the Friday night we went. The drinks were fantastic, which they had a mocktail menu. Very cozy and fun vibes. Usually pretty packed so make sure to go early! Would definitely recommend anyone wanting some fun in the village that doesn’t like clubbing/staying up too late.
Caity W — Google review
The food was just alright. We were surprised that the fries were undercooked and a bit soggy, but edible. The spicy chicken sandwich was decent. The chicken fingers were all cooked. The wrap was just fine. Beers were cold. Our server came too late to check on the meal to say anything. Overall service was just fine. The patio was a good size with lots of seating. You've got lots to look at there
Brad S — Google review
Fabulous bar that we discovered on our first night. Acts on stage, friendly people and a good selection of food & drinks. We have come back 4 times since, sitting outside on the patio soaking up some rays & enjoying the atmosphere.
Blair R — Google review
Greats drinks and food! Quick and friendly service. Was able to eat on the patio soaking up the sun and the hustle and bustle. I had the chicken fajitas and they were wonderful! To drink a Moscow mule, in a copper mug too! :)

Great place to watch a game and chat with folks at the bar. Pierre was such a sweetheart and the 2 other bartenders were also very kind and attentive. Nice bathrooms, okay food, great bar/atmosphere and service.
Charlie H — Google review
Me and my girl went to this place the price of drink is good but they charged me 6$ of nothing and when i asked the bartender she replied this is automatic you have to pay ?? Like whattt for whatt i have to pay extra money or tip if im not interested to give any tip and its been a while in canada but this is my first time someone just ripped me off it doesn't matter if its 6$ or 6c there should be consent before charging any kind of tip. Worst experience !!! Just want customers money and i know its not the management its just the staff and employee who ripp off customer in the sake of tip. Without permission.

Glad Day Bookshop is a long-standing community bookstore that offers a diverse selection of LGBTQ titles in a cozy setting. The shop hosts popular drag brunches on Sundays, featuring delicious buffet fare and entertaining performances by drag artists. It prides itself on being an inclusive space for queer individuals, families, and allies.
Glad Day Drag Brunch is fabulous. Selena Vyle gives it their all (which btw for 44yo, ho you is bendy!) and they makes everyone feel included. sad to see when the book shop moves that drag brunch will not be going with it - so hoping there will be a drag brunch location too in the west end 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ thank you selena and glad day!!!!
Laura — Google review
A wonderful community space with a lovely curation of books (albeit limited) and pride related paraphrenalia. It is also the oldest queer bookshop in the world. Patrons are diverse and colourful. I didn’t feel too welcome by the staff on the day though, which slightly marred my experience of the place but perhaps they have not had a great day or it was too hot. Definitely support this important bookstore.

DRAG BRUNCH SUNDAYS! AWESOME We came here in April for some beverage and we ended up loving this place. They make delicious cocktails! I was very impressed. Of course, hats off to the bartenders and their colorful and awesome personality. Thank you for that Gaycation cocktail. Delish! I will be back here more often.
Rom N — Google review
Just attended Drag Brunch with Selena Vyle and Ella Mayo and on top of Selena and Ella performing like absolute stars, the staff at Glad Day knocked it outta the park the entire event. Not only was it super well-organized when it came to taking food and drink orders, but the set up was not cramped, the scones were super yum and all staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. If you’ve never experienced a well-run drag brunch, it’s time to hit up Glad Day!

Had a coffee and wonderful chat with friends. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Staff was vee helpful with coffee choices and delivered it to our table. Quite impressive. Highly recommend.

Glad day bookshop is wonderful! Staff are lovely and very kind! They have covid protocols in place for masking and safety! There is a large selection of various books and they also have zines, and various artwork, buttons and different products to buy!! The front entrance is accessible and the bathrooms are on the main floor, also accessible! They also host many events here so you should definitely check it out!
Victoria B — Google review
Beautiful historic gem in the village. Oldest LGBTQ+ bookstore. Went here for a drag brunch, lots of options available for dietary restrictions and non-alcoholic drink options. Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere here feels very welcoming and upbeat. Great selection of Queer literature (especially children’s books!) as well as enamel pins, patches, stickers, flags and more. There’s lots of events here, and the bookstores Instagram will often update on them. There is also a physical calendar of events inside the doors of the bookstore for reference.
Cas W — Google review
We loved this coffee shop/library. They have a very good selection of new and used LGBTQ+ books as well as merch. We ordered some drinks and stayed there a few hours to read. The barista was also very nice! We will gladly come back here the next time we visit Toronto!

Gay bar
Woody's and SAILOR is a lively gay club in Toronto, featuring nightly DJs and men's competitions on weekends. The cavernous space boasts 5 bars and is the largest gay bar in town. From the outside, it appears as two separate bars but inside they merge into one massive venue. It's a popular spot for most gay guys in Toronto and offers a spacious environment with plenty of bartenders to serve even on busier nights.
I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing staff! I accidentally left my phone behind after heading home, and when I called the next morning, they answered before their official opening hours. Not only were they incredibly kind and understanding, but they also let me come by early to pick it up and they had even fully charged it for me! Thank you so much to the person who found my phone and turned it in, and to nice guy from the staff for going above and beyond. It truly made my day to be reminded that there are still such thoughtful, genuine people out there. I love this place!
Alexis M — Google review
I really enjoyed my time here. Great mixed crowds with drag show and a great music mix to dance after the show. Drinks were reasonably priced. Only downside is not to stand over the AC system, it drips water and you don’t want that in your drink or on you. HOWEVER, I’m So glad this space is at a comfortable temperature. Would recommend for new visitors.
Jay C — Google review
Good drinks, good vibes, and great drag queens. Woodys and Sailor is a Church Street must-see. The drinks were well made and to be honest, I have no idea if they have food or not, but there's a few food places nearby if you are hungry. The drag queens performed spectacularly and I will highly recommend for a Friday or Saturday night out.
Warren C — Google review
Woody’s & SAILOR is such an iconic spot in the Village! The place is huge, with multiple bars inside and a great stage for drag shows – the atmosphere is always lively and fun. It’s definitely one of the best venues if you’re looking for entertainment and a vibrant crowd. The only thing to keep in mind is that drinks are on the pricey side – a Corona was $10 and a single shot was $9 – but the overall experience, energy, and shows make it worth it. A must-visit when in Toronto’s Gay Village! 🌈✨🍹
Jamal S — Google review
Great casual fun place on Church Street to go out any day of the week. There is always a show and some fun drag performances. The waiters are very friendly and it’s easy to order even in the crowded nights. Went there with friends and had a great time. Tip: if you want to skip the line at the door, go early and have a drink or grab something to eat
Irina C — Google review
I went to today , and unfortunately I had a very negative experience at the entrance. The bodyguard stopped me without giving a clear reason. From his comments and attitude, it was obvious I was being singled out unfairly. I wasn’t intoxicated, I was dressed appropriately, and I was respectful. Still, I was treated differently, and it left me feeling discriminated against and humiliated. Clubs should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. I hope the management addresses this issue with their staff, because no one should be turned away based on appearance or personal bias.

The Queen & Beaver Public House is a polished British-style pub in Toronto's West Queen West neighborhood. It offers traditional British cuisine, pints, and a cozy atmosphere with two patio decks. The pub has an alternative approach to drag entertainment, providing an intimate setting for drag performers and audiences to interact closely. Co-founded by the late Toronto queer scene hero Will Munro in 2006, it quickly became an alternative nightspot known for nurturing emerging drag talent and showcasing experimental performers.
I love the cozy vibes of this place. I had an event to attend at Yonge/Dundas area and wanted to watch Jays play-off after. All the bars at Yonge/Dundas were absolutely packed.Quickly walked up to Elm street and got seated comfortably. Fish & Chips for $30 might sound expensive but batter was so light, decent fish and fries were amazing! This is the bar & restaurant that is close to Yonge/Dundas but less touristy gem!
Ok S — Google review
We recently stopped in for lunch and had a lovely experience overall. The fish and chips were well-prepared—the batter was crisp, and the fish was flaky and flavorful. While the mushy peas were a bit of a letdown (served cold and lacking seasoning), the main dish more than made up for it. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient, which really enhanced our visit. We were seated in the front room overlooking the patio, providing a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy our meal. The restaurant boasts plenty of TVs, making it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts. During our visit, there was a lively group of fans gathering for the big game, adding to the vibrant ambiance. Overall, it's a great place for a casual meal, especially if you're looking to catch a game. Just a slight improvement on the sides, and it would be a solid 5-star experience.
Robin H — Google review
My experience here was okay. First impressions count for me, and didn't really vibe with the place at the start. When I came in for my dinner reservation, there was no host to be found at the front and people were piling up. When the guy finally came, it was the kind of energy that made you feel like you were imposing on them so that didn't really make me feel the most welcome. Our server also took a while to acknowledge our table. He saw that we were there because he walked by us several times but for some reason chose not to acknowledge us until much later. So, service overall: could be better. I had the Cumberland Bangers. The sausages were pretty dry and and crumbly in texture. The flavour was there, but yeah texture is not the best. The mashed potatoes were okay, but also didn't taste like the freshest. The caramelized onions in the gravy was nice to bring some sweetness into the dish. I wonder if that could have been pureed or something or just simmered during the making of the gravy to impart the depth of caramelized flavour, but I can't say I was a fan of the texture in the dish itself.
A.J. — Google review
Great location and a true neighbourhood pub feel. The food and drinks are excellent — the fish and chips, burger, and beers really stand out. Cozy atmosphere with good service, and the rooftop patio is a gem, especially on nice days. The second floor is perfect for watching a soccer game, adding to the authentic British pub vibe. Prices are fair, portions are good, and the quality is consistent. Comfy, welcoming, and definitely one of the best pub experiences in Toronto.
Nate M — Google review
We had brunch at the Queen and Beaver recently, and overall it was a lovely experience. The service was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and relaxed — and we sat on the outdoor terrace, which made for a really nice setting. I can’t speak to the interior vibe, but the patio was great. The food was a bit hit-or-miss for me. My friends all really enjoyed their brunch dishes (and their plates looked amazing), but I went with the burger and fries and was a little underwhelmed. It’s more of a hearty, upscale-style burger — not a classic smash burger, which to be fair, they don’t claim it is. Just a personal preference, and it felt a touch pricey for what it was. That said, our friends who brought us here absolutely love this place and say it’s consistently good for both brunch and dinner. So while it wasn’t a standout meal for me personally, I’d still say it’s worth checking out — especially if you’re after a chill patio brunch spot in downtown Toronto with great service.
Geoff H — Google review
We made a reservation for a Thursday, and got patio seating. We got the summerlicious menu (Welsh rarebit on Pullmans loaf, salmon and charred baby gem, and classic sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream), PLUS we ordered the beef and onion pie. I really enjoyed my meal here, especially the beef and onion pie and the sticky toffee pudding. The mashed potatoes from the pie were really salty but the sweet purple cabbage slaw really balanced it out. Service was only ok, it was pretty busy so we had a hard time flagging down a server at times.
Eileen L — Google review
Quite a pub atmosphere. I like their menu a lot, with a large variety of pub fare you will sure find something you like. I had the beef and onion pie and it was tremendous. Came with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. Nice dish. Everyone at the table was pleased with their food. Service was pleasant and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend making a reservation, because this is a very popular place.

I wrote a paper on this place like a decade ago back in college and every time I've visited Toronto they didn't have a show up - I finally got a chance to see a play here and they did not disappoint. Beyond amazing.

I absolutely LOVE buddies! It’s genuinely my favourite queer space in the city. They have an incredible variety in their performances, and the events hosted at Tallulah’s Cabaret (a smaller sub-venue within buddies) are unmatched. I love that buddies is vocal about their support for marginalized communities— they put their money where their mouth is in uplifting diverse voices. Great space and great events. Love the feeling of community and how everyone including staff are welcoming. Went for my first time for New Year’s Eve and had an ok time. The performances were good but music was lacklustre for dancing. Coat check could have been more efficient.

Incredible, safe space where EVERYONE is welcome. Buddies has never ever made me or any of my friends feel unsafe, and anyone who says otherwise has never been in the space and is just trying to be hateful. There is no space for any kind of hate at Buddies. Will be returning forever and ever and ever. 💕🌈

O'Grady's Restaurant On Church is a corner tavern that serves standard pub food and offers late-night dining as well as weekend brunch. It is known for being one of the best bear bars in Toronto, providing an alternative to other establishments in the area. The restaurant is connected to The Lodge, which hosts popular Bear parties on Fridays. Guests can enjoy dishes like Smoke Shack Poutine made with crispy potato wedges and refreshing drinks such as Long Island Ice Tea.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible drag brunch experience! Baby Bell Bell and Boa brought so much energy, humor, and charisma to the stage — it was nonstop entertainment from start to finish. The performances were bold, fun, and unforgettable! And the chicken and waffles? Just as flavorful as the show itself! Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned — every bite was a treat. Can’t recommend this brunch enough if you’re looking for great food and fabulous vibes. I’ll definitely be back! 💃🍗🧇✨

The outdoor patio with the table side heaters are great on a cooler day. Our server Bini ❤️was attentive and very helpful that we booked the Drag 🏳️‍🌈Brunch for Sunday12-3. We had 🍹drinks 🍻 & wings 🍗 and they were cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere with our friends. Not loud and tables were nicely spaced out for privacy. Happy hour 11-7👍🏻 ($4 tequilas🙌) Definitely returning again.

Super fun drag show! The queens were super engaging and really charming. Food was okay, but drinks are pretty good!! Def worth a stop!

This was probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had. It was beyond dry, and somewhat burnt. I couldn't even finish it. The sweet potato fries were standard. The onion rings were almost good, but too hard and overcooked (the theme of the day, I guess). I tried the club sandwich and it was ok. We each had a can of cider, which was cold, so they nailed that part of the experience. Lucky us! The patio is really large and the best part of the place. I'd honestly forgo getting food next time and just enjoy a drink on the patio.

I was starving when I ordered lunch and wow this fish and chips hit the spot! Perfectly crispy batter, flaky fish, and golden fries that were just the right kind of salty. It was so good I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway through — that says it all! Definitely coming back the next time I’m craving comfort food.

We attended o'Gradys restaurant at church on the weekend for drag brunch it was amazing love the queens and vibe and energy it was amazing love every single thing about they're show. The size of the place could be bigger but it was nice for the size it filled up about 20 plus customers and was a decent amount of space to move around. The all gender washroom was so co Ed it made my experience very safe. The food was great my friend complemented the breakfast meal and the coffee was great. The staff was so attentive to our needs and drinks were filled to help our quench on that hot day. Shout-out to the drag queens 👑 we saw that day Sucka Queen and Ayah Conic for the Sabrina Carpenter drag brunch. The event was so engaging that many other guests was enjoying they're time and the audience was so engaged the atmosphere was so energetic and engaging. I was to shy to raise my hands but I had two drag names in mind Queen La Quifa and Biblio Toilette

I had a little delicious Savoury Breakfast Bowl with Smoked Salmon at Labour Day drag brunch. It was amazing, though I would ask for a little lemon to cut through the hardiness of the dish; would recommend. We saw Devine Darlin and Baby Bel Bel; they were each amazing. We did poppers too ;)

Nestled between Woody's and The Black Eagle, The Drink - Cocktail & Pizza Bar is a popular spot for Sunday brunch. It offers a vibrant atmosphere with drag performances throughout the day. Visitors can start their day with coffee and pastries before transitioning to cocktails later on. The bar is known for its strong drag culture, making it an exciting destination for an eventful night out.
I had a great night on Sunday at the Men's Room Underwear Party. Blakely was such a sweetheart and gave us great service. Never an empty drink in my hand. And Ashley took amazing care of us during Karaoke afterwards. Sorcha is also the cutest and I'm so happy she's managing now. Love this bar.

It's been a long time since I've been out drinking in the Village anywhere other than Woody's, but we decided to grab some pre-dinner drinks at the happy hour here. It wasn't busy but it was a good place to chill and the price was right. The bartender was awesome, and really brought the place from an okay bar to a good time. And the happy hour deal was worth it!

Sorcha took care of us for the whole night and we had so much fun! She was attentive, friendly and recommended great cocktails for us. She made sure our table always had everything we needed. Her cheerful attitude really added to the experience, and we left feeling well taken care of. Highly recommend asking for Sorcha if you visit!

Every time I visit, Josh the newer bartender from BC has made sure I have a spectacular time. He is genuine, sweet, welcoming and always remembers that I love a double rye and ginger, neat. I was losing faith in our village but Josh's presence has helped me have a change in heart. 💜💜💜

Don’t go out very often but when I do as of recently I try to find myself at the drink. Joshua is an incredible bartender and is always super friendly. When the village is loud, the drink is always a great happy medium where the staff makes you feel welcome, and Joshua embodies that everytime. He remembers every face!

Such an incredible spot! The crowd, the queens, the music — everything was perfection. You can feel the joy and inclusivity the moment you walk in. Can’t wait to go back! Especially to see the best bartender Brock

Overpriced cocktails, worn down interior, generally trashy vibe. Staff is lovely, and the queens are doing their best to entertain, but overall experience is still pretty underwhelming. Might be one of the worst bars in the village imo, there are better and cheaper options all around

The CN Tower is a must-see landmark in Toronto, standing at over 553 meters tall. It's known for its glass floor and revolving eatery offering panoramic views of the city. Visitors can also experience EdgeWalk, a thrilling hands-free walk around the outside ledge of the tower. As one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, it's a Canadian icon and symbol of Toronto.
Our visit to the 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower was truly unforgettable. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and an energy that matched the breathtaking views from above Toronto. There’s something magical about dining while slowly rotating high above the city — the lights, the skyline, and Lake Ontario shimmering in the distance made the whole evening feel like a dream. But what made the experience even more special was the outstanding service. A very special thank you to Lisa, who took care of us with so much attention, kindness, and professionalism. She made us feel not just like guests, but like VIPs. Every recommendation she gave was spot-on, and her positive energy added such a good vibe to the evening. The food was exquisite — beautifully plated, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. Each dish complemented the atmosphere perfectly. Pairing the fine dining with the spectacular 360-degree view is something I would recommend to anyone visiting Toronto. This was more than just a dinner — it was an experience filled with emotion, beauty, and joy. If you’re ever in Toronto, you absolutely must visit the CN Tower and treat yourself to the 360 Restaurant. And if you’re lucky enough to have Lisa take care of you, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say it’s a night you’ll always remember. Definitely recommend this as a highlight of your trip to Canada!

A overwhelming experience for me as a photography buff. The views offered are simply awesome, you can see the surrounding as if from flight, don't forget to make a time lapse movie that would make you proud. CN tower of Toronto, being the highest man made structure from its completion in 1976 to 2007 when Burz Khalifa became tallest. The highest level that a visitor can go is 457 meters from bottom, total height being 553 meters. There is a revolving restaurant at 355 meters. You can sit near the window and enjoy the 360° view where skyscraper buildings of 60+ floors appear small below while dining. The height affects air pressure and feels like being in a flight. The views from CN tower lift while ascending itself is quite rewarding. You are arriving main deck, you get free access to observation deck and glass window floor to look through and stand on the glass panels which offer the view if ground floor from 350 meter level. There you can buy the top deck ticket for 12 CAD and ride another lift to go to 450 meter level which is highest visitors can go. Nice view from there also, you can see two rail stations, lots of highways, Billy airport and numorous skyscrapers along with beautiful lake. You can also feel little sway at top deck that adds to the wow. Tip - you can reserve the table at 360 restaurant in advance, can skip the line while entering tower, get free access to main observation deck and very good dining experience on the price of minimum 75 CAD spent per head in restaurant, where as you can buy a 80 CAD ticket for CN tower entry, long line with free vitamin D greets you and you have to spend extra on food with limited seating, access to only main deck levels and still have to pay 12 CAD extra for top deck. So, booking a table in 360 works out to be more rewarding.

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the vastness of Lake Ontario. The enormous water body stretched out endlessly, and you could almost feel the peace that it brought to the bustling city. It’s hard to put into words how incredible it felt to take in such a stunning sight from such a height. While we soaked in the views, we also treated ourselves to some delicious food at the restaurant, which had its own glass floor. Dining while looking out over the entire city, surrounded by the endless sky and twinkling lights, made the meal even more memorable. Everything down below seemed so small and far away—the buildings, the busy streets, even the people—all of it felt like a different world from up there. It was a perfect blend of nature, cityscape, and human activity, all from the comfort of the CN Tower. The whole experience left us with a sense of awe and wonder, and we all agreed it was a memory we’d cherish. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the CN Tower offers a truly unique way to experience the city of Toronto. It’s a place where the beauty of the skyline meets the serenity of the natural world, making for an unforgettable visit. I can’t wait to go back again—this time maybe to see the city from the glass floor! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible view, great food, and a fun, memorable experience.
Raveena B — Google review
We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!
Amie S — Google review
I visited the CN Tower with my family a few years back, and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You really get to see the city from a whole new perspective. Standing on the glass floor was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. I definitely felt a bit anxious looking straight down, but it was a fun and memorable experience. It’s one of those iconic spots in Toronto that’s worth visiting once. Whether you go during the day or at night, the view is stunning either way.
NJ C — Google review
The CN Tower is a must-see! A unique place any time of year. The view from the top is indescribable – the entire city looks like a scale model, with Lake Ontario stretching out to the horizon. The biggest attraction? The glass floor, which you step onto with a little trepidation, but then burst into a broad smile 😄 The whole experience was perfectly organized and with very friendly service. It's worth buying tickets online. If you're in Toronto, you simply can't miss it! I recommend it to anyone who wants to see Toronto from a completely different perspective. An unforgettable experience!
Apartamenty S — Google review
We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

Lula Lounge is a vibrant venue in Toronto's Little Portugal neighborhood, offering a diverse range of live music performances including salsa, jazz, and world music. As part of the Lula Music & Arts Centre, it supports Canadian world music through various initiatives. The venue features a full dance floor and dining booths, making it an ideal spot for enjoying Latin dining and dancing on weekends.
One of my favorite spots in the city! I’ve been to Lula twice, first to celebrate my birthday, and we had such a great time that a friend decided to celebrate their birthday there too! The food is delicious and generous. My favorites are the ceviche and the al pastor tacos, but honestly, everything we tried was amazing. The service is great, and the music is the cherry on top whether it’s the live band or the DJ, the vibe is always on point. It’s the perfect place to enjoy an authentic Latin atmosphere with great food, great people, and lots of dancing. Can’t wait to go back!
Briz P — Google review
The vibe here is super lively with Spanish dance lessons and a DJ that keeps things fun all night. Service is awesome, but be ready,it’s pricier than you’d think. The food is honestly pretty average, drinks are just okay, but if you’re coming for the atmosphere and energy, it’s worth a visit!
Lily M — Google review
I went to Lula Lounge on a Saturday night, and I can’t begin to describe how much fun I had! The live salsa band was incredible, and the DJ kept the energy going all night. The food was fantastic—some of the best tacos I’ve ever had—and the margaritas are an absolute must-try. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of life, making it an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to go back!

It's just fantastic. I love the nice combination of live music (very talented salsa bands) and the live DJ, too... but also, it's marvelous to find people from any background taking the salsa lessons and then putting them into practice. Nice place, full of fun.

Great atmosphere! I came to Lula Lounge with a bigger group for a friend's Birthday.. (private room) Tons of love music & Latin hits, Cocktails, well executed & tasted great Food, however.. subpar. For context, we had the prefix menu: The ceviche was terrible.. clearly unfrozen, dry, unflavoured Beef cheek: was quite nice, tender & broccolini was charred to perfection "Tres-leches" cake. Yikes.. it had to be weeks old: super dry, hard to the touch, with no flavour Regardless, of the food experience.. the atmosphere, music, cocktails & friendly staff made the night! Would recommend.

Fantastic service!!! Camila was our server and she was so lovely and very attentive the whole night. All the service staff is wonderful and really try to give you an amazing experience. The food was delicious. The beef cheek is tender, juicy and falls apart in your mouth. You can't go wrong with the food and flavour and definitely good sized portions for the prix fix option. The Lula lounge is a great venue for a romantic night of upbeat dancing or a group function. The band was incredible and very authentic Cuban. I would highly recommend this club for a Friday night. You won't be disappointed.
Tanya V — Google review
Food mediocre, drinks expensive. But that's not why 2 stars. You come for a Cuban salsa night with a band that's have timba in their name. And you get 10% to 20% timba Cuban salsa. Best music was in the Playlist during the food and the lesson, after that it is all down hill. It's not 1 start since i guess it's more then anywhere else in the area. But have no mistakes it is not a Cuban salsa night, and there is 0 timba. Very disappointed.
Barak F — Google review
You can't miss this spot, the music is heard from the street, haha. I pulled up late on a Saturday night with my girl and the live music was on a break, so the DJ was slamming latin music for about a half hour. The Live band came back in for another hour before they stopped playing around 1 am. Overall the space is fairly big with a central dance floor and seating on the side. The energy during the live band and the DJ intermission were both on high. A super infectious atmosphere it was difficult not to dance. The live band was great! A lot of salsa dancers all at different levels. A welcoming environment for sure! I would recommend a night out dancing salsa and Merengue. Coat check is enforced in the winter.

This club? A whole vibe. The staff were so cool, I was half-convinced they moonlight as superheroes. The music hit harder than my morning coffee, and every beat felt like it was made just for me. As for the atmosphere – I walked in and immediately forgot I had bills to pay. 10/10 would lose track of time (and possibly my voice) here again! 🎶💃🏻🍸

This place is a lot of fun. Always starts off with a lot of women. The men usually show up later.... There is a fun drag show that happens on saturday nights. That's the highlight of the evening. And then the party starts rolling after that. This is a great place to end your night. Because this place doesn't get jumping until after 1130 pm. That being said, drinks are very cheap compared to other places in the city so if you want to start your evening here you'll be making your own party, but it will be affordable. There's mostly latin music played all night long.So if you're not into latin music, don't go here. I have attended this place for many years it hasn't changed.
Susan K — Google review
I would say that my experience was a solid 4 stars. I booked a booth for around $550 which got me a premium bottle I chose patron and mixes as well as booth service. The booth service thought out the night was fine but when I got there it took them almost 45 mins to set my booth up which was awkward as my group was there waiting for drinks. The other frustrating thing was that I was trying to get in touch with management for an entire week before my reservation to confirm if I could bring balloons/cupcakes in as it was my birthday, I called 6 times, left 3 voice mails, and messaged the IG account and no one got back to me. For the amount of $$ paid that night this was disappointing. The music and drag show were great as always which is why I came back. Demographic of people here is totally weird, I would say 70% girls/gays then 30% men on the prowl. At the end of the night a HUGE fight broke out and one guy was literally dragged out of the bar and ambulances had to be called. Realistically this isn’t the establishments fault but reflective of the people you might run into here.

This club is very old school. Being here felt like stepping in to a night club in the 80s. The performances of drag queens, lights, sound quality of speakers, all lack modernity, progress and innovation. It’s 2025 and they’re stuck in the 80s style drag shows. Sad.

I rekindled with some old friends from years ago. We had a great time. The music was so good they played salsa, merengue, reggae, reggeton, R&B Everything. They also did a live performance which was fantastic and fun. Thanks for a great night
Raquel H — Google review
Overcrowded, overpriced, for the show they’ll ask you to remove yourself from the dance floor and squish towards the outside. But what really pissed me off what’s that I ordered 5 different drinks for me and my friends, the bartender pretended to have “misunderstand”, did all gin & tonics and charged for all the drinks. Terrible night

One of the best queer bars in the city! Has a night and event for everyone if you look for it. Excellent spot to stop into before or after a big party, or after a queer sports night. Decent atmosphere with pool tables in the back and small tables in the front for you to gather and have a drink. Several TVs where they're usually showing sports and the larger projector screen that usually plays music videos or sports games depending on when you go. They don't make food on site but they can order from the restaurant across the street for you and pick it up and bring it to you so it's kind of like Uber eats right to your table and then you can pay with card. The good thing is you can bring outside food!! So infinitely more options if you plan a bit.

Really fun bar. It's upstairs, the entrance can be easily missed. Big open space with large windows over looking Church St. The windows open up in spring and summer. Fun for people watching or being seen. Plenty of bar tables throughout the space. Bar staff is super friendly and make great drinks. There's a pool table and video games as well for entertainment. They have plenty of TV screens throughout the space. The days I was in town they didn't have anything specific going on. I did notice they had a number of performance and themed nights. Although on Church and seemed to have a predominantly male client it seemed open to all not just gays. Really enjoyed this place for happy hour. Wasn't crowded and the place was sunny. They even have free WiFi. Totally fun place.

🌟 Review for Black eagle 🌟 I recently visited Black eagle, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, perfect for a night out. The dance floor is fantastic, with a DJ spinning great tunes that kept everyone moving. Whether you're looking to dance the night away or just enjoy some good music, this place has it all. The drink selection is impressive, with a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and spirits to choose from. I tried a few different drinks, and each one was delicious! One of my favorite features was the upper-level open patio with a BBQ grill. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air while still being part of the lively atmosphere below. Additionally, having a coat check available was a nice touch, making it easy to enjoy the night without worrying about my belongings. Overall, Black eagle is a must-visit if you're in the area. My favorite bar hands down. The staff is always so friendly and amazing. Also all of their events from nude drawing sessions to Grapefruit and everything in-between is such a great time! Definitely recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Black Eagle last night. This venue has always been known as a place where people should feel safe, welcomed, and accepted but that was not the case during my visit. The two Punjabi security guards on duty were not only unwelcoming, but openly homophobic. From the moment we arrived, their attitude made us feel uncomfortable, as though we didn’t belong. The situation escalated when they falsely accused my friend of inappropriate behavior. Without any real basis, they kicked him out of the venue, humiliating him in front of others. To make matters worse, they continued to verbally harass him outside, swearing at him in Punjabi. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Security staff should be there to protect patrons and maintain a safe environment, not to intimidate or discriminate against them. What we experienced last night was the opposite — it was targeted, disrespectful, and left both myself and my friends shaken. Black Eagle has a responsibility to its community and its customers to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Allowing staff members who engage in discriminatory and homophobic behavior to continue representing the venue sends the wrong message. I urge management to take this matter seriously, investigate what happened, and make immediate changes. Hiring professional, inclusive staff is not optional it’s essential to the safety and reputation of this space. Until this is addressed, I cannot in good conscience recommend Black Eagle to anyone. A bar that markets itself as safe and inclusive should actually be safe and inclusive, and sadly, last night’s experience proved the opposite.

"We're regulars at the Black Eagle on Sundays for Retro Night, and it's always a blast! The vibe is great, and the staff is fantastic. We love dancing and enjoying the patio. A couple of suggestions for improvement: more food options and a bit more diverse music selection would be awesome. Also, having a bar on the patio and more non-alcoholic drinks would be a great addition, especially since I'm sober. Overall, though, we always have an amazing time!" Ps. the bouncer Chris is amazing

The bartender here, the East Asian looking man with the grey hair, is very ride. Employees often become frustrated with customers and talk very rudely to them. Beware of scams, bartenders will often try to force and hustle customers into buying drinks. There are absolutely no showers at Black Eagle in Toronto despite all the extremely unsanitary and extremely explicit activity, which to me seems like a health and sanitation violation. Many of the men who come to this Black Eagle are full of attitude, as they are quite cold and arrogant. In short, Black Eagle has potential, but the really rude service and downright dirtiness of the establishment, as well as the mean patrons, leave a lot to be desired. Honestly, it’s a cesspit. That’s my opinion, anyway.

Went to the eagle for the first time in a little while for a community event. They held a life drawing class. It was weirdly awesome. People of all levels just spending an afternoon being creative. There's a bunch of reasons to spend money in the village. Even more reasons to spend that money at the eagle. But the fact that they're offering interesting programing for people of all types is just amazing.

The Lounge at the Drake Hotel is a trendy and stylish spot located in Toronto. It offers a wide range of experiences, from fabulous brunches to late-night entertainment featuring world-class musicians, guest DJs, and poetry slams. The restaurant serves incredible food with options like special mussels, sushi, and delectable desserts. The atmosphere is cool and there's even a rooftop patio for special occasions. Additionally, they host events like Drag Brunches that are highly recommended for a fun time.
Lobby Bar is an excellent spot for small private functions. The mixologist is superb and the food is awesome. They offer an excellent selection of non alcoholic beverages. They were able to accommodate gluten free, vegan and allergies for an event. I have been to their brunch as well, which is awesome.

Smashing IT on the drinks and atmosphere! Not Smashing IT on the food! I love the Drake Hotel and Hotel Lounge. There's a lot of history within the walls of the Drake. I ordered the espresso Martini. The drink was delicious. I then ordered the turkey club with fries. The fries were great, but the turkey club was disgusting and not edible. The turkey was obviously old, dry, and hard as leather. The bacon was also tasteless and old. Come on, Drake! If you're going to serve food, then serve it fresh and flavorful or just don't serve food at all. I immediately called over the bartender because I was sitting at the bar and told him to please take back this dish to the kitchen as it's not edible. The bartender and waitstaff are sweethearts. But it's the food that brings shame to the Drake Hotel. It's time for a menu shake-up Drake Hotel.

I've been a fan of Drake Cafe for a while, but my recent visit to try their new menu was a real treat. I was excited to see what they had cooked up, and I can confidently say the new dishes are a total hit. I started with the charred chili prawns, and they were simply out of this world. The prawns were juicy and perfectly cooked, with a delicious char that added a smoky depth. The spice level was just right, giving them a wonderful kick without being overwhelming. These were a solid 10/10 and I’d happily order them again! For my main, I went with the Drake burger, and it didn’t disappoint. The flavours were fantastic, from the perfectly melted cheese to the rich sauce. The standout, however, was the tarragon sauce. It was incredibly flavourful and unique, and I could easily imagine it paired with a good cut of steak. The burger gets a well-deserved 9/10. The service was great as well—my server was friendly and had a calm, pleasant demeanor throughout my visit. While the food was incredible, my only minor piece of feedback is that both the appetizer and main course arrived at the same time. While it’s not a major issue, it would have been nice to enjoy the prawns on their own before diving into the burger. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience and a testament to the exciting new direction the menu is taking. I highly recommend giving these dishes a try!

I came in here on a Tuesday evening with two other friends for their $45 three course meal special. We got seated immediately as we had booked a reservation, but wasn't required as it was quiet. When we got seated we didn't get our drinks order in after 20 minutes and didn't even get to place our order until after an hour. The service was really slow for being such a quiet night which was such a dissapointment. For the food the salad was just okay nothing too special. I asked for my steak rare and It was overcooked, but the gravy was the best part of the meal, fries were okay. Dessert wasn't photographed but it was also just okay. Everything that was served was relatively average, and I see no reason to be rushing back here anytime soon. The best part of the experience however, was the live music as the performer was very talented.

The Wyck Recommendation: Drake Hotel Lounge Rating: 2.8/5 The Drake is Dead. Long Live the Patio Intro Scene I used to bring first dates here. Back in the day, the Drake had charm. It wasn’t trying so hard. It didn’t need to. Everything flowed. The vibe, the drinks, the music, the people. Now? You walk into the lobby and feel like you’ve accidentally shown up to a movie set after filming wrapped. The lights are still on, but no one’s home. You stand around until someone finally acknowledges your existence, usually by mistake. What Was Ordered Hanky Panky. Bitter, confident, and the only thing here with real soul Drake Lager. Ice-cold and criminally underpriced at five bucks Aperol Spritz x 3. Fizzy, fun, and emotionally distant, like most of the clientele We didn’t order food. I’ve eaten here before. I’ve healed since then Service Commentary You walk in, and everyone avoids eye contact like you’re an ex they ghosted. Unless you go through the proper ritual, lobby to clipboard person to escort guy to patio, you’re invisible. It’s not rude. It’s emptier than that. It’s like being mildly tolerated by retail mannequins. Sunday morning, we just wanted to drink. Instead, we got vibes that said you’re not curated enough to be acknowledged Vibe Check This place used to hum with quiet chaos. Now it feels like an open-concept showroom for curated cool. Everyone’s dressed for the photos they hope will happen. Giant sunglasses. Expensive sandals. People pretending they’re not watching each other. It’s loud without energy. Stylish without substance. The Drake is still trying to be the party, but now it’s the one throwing itself The Space Itself The patio is the last survivor. Still sunny, still dog-friendly, still kinda fun if you’re tipsy and squinting. But inside? The bathroom has visible grime and layers of dust caked onto the chrome. No one’s cleaned the ledges in years. It’s not edgy. Just lazy. The urinal photo of a guy peeing in the woods is still more sincere than anything else here. The lounge and club? I avoid them. They feel like Spotify ads in physical form About the Neighborhood Queen West was once chaos with eyeliner. Now it’s all curated edge and essential oils. The Drake fits right in, pretending to be what it once was. You walk past the street art, the overpriced candles, the vintage shops selling repurposed sadness, and realize the neighborhood didn’t evolve. It was staged Hits and Misses ✓ Hanky Panky still delivers. Bitter, balanced, perfect ✓ Five dollar Drake Lager. One last gesture of generosity ✓ Patio is dog-friendly and easy on the eyes ✓ Bathroom urinal art still weirdly comforting ✗ Service is robotic and borderline evasive ✗ Getting seated feels like auditioning for a bar ✗ Bathrooms visibly neglected. Dusty ledges, grime on chrome ✗ Club and lounge are husks of better nights ✗ Used to flow. Now it’s forced, branded, broken Final Verdict The Drake didn’t crash. It calcified. Back in the day, it had flow. Now? Nothing moves. It’s like watching someone you used to love recite a script of who they think they are. I’ve spent a lot of time here. I don’t say this lightly. The drinks still hold up. The patio still gives hope. But the magic? It’s buried in dust, somewhere above the urinal pipes Rating: 2.8/5 Perfect For Sipping Aperol while processing abandonment issues Watching Toronto's cultural memory fade in real time

Disappointing experience. Not worth the time or money. The only good thing about this restaurant was the photo booth. Everything else was horrible. When I booked online, there were two seating options, the lounge with live music or the quieter upstairs area. I’m very sensitive to loud noises, so I specifically chose the quieter area. When we arrived, they seated us in the very loud lounge with live music. We explained that we booked upstairs, but they told us the upstairs was closed that day. That’s fine.. but why not call or email to let us know beforehand? The hostess was kind and did give us free photo booth coupons, which I appreciated, but unfortunately that didn’t fix the noise issue. A few minutes after ordering, my seat starts literally vibrating the whole time from whatever event or concert was happening below us, and it was like that until we were done. I would’ve left but at that point we had already ordered and it was too late to find another place. Then came the food. easily some of the worst meals I’ve had. The steak was chewy and tasteless, the chicken was basic fried chicken, and the mac and cheese was way too salty. Even the bread and butter tasted off. I usually love food and finish my plate(FAST), but I couldn’t even eat half of it. Definitely not worth the price. Service wasn’t great either. our server didn’t really pay attention to our table. We had to wait a lot for her to finally come by so we can ask for something. But there was also only a few of them so it’s okay. Overall, this was a really unpleasant experience. If they had just seated us in the area I booked, I might’ve left a better review, even with the disappointing food. But between the noise, poor food, and high prices, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The veggie burger and fries were really tasty and they have a good selection of beers and other drinks. The staff and service was also decent. A downside is if you're visiting with infants and need to change them. I was visiting with a baby and needed to change the baby in the accessible toilet however there was no changing table so I ended up changing my baby on the floor. Apart from that I had a nice experience here.

Well worth the price, came for brunch and ordered the French Toast, Drake Benny, huevos rancheros and smoked salmon bagel. 10/10 presentation, food was a solid 8/10 Edit, 2nd visit: had the pancakes, found them really good. Found the sweetness of whipped cream was overpowered by the maple syrup. A different condiment that contrasts the maple syrup might elevate this dish even more (Pancake score: 8.5/10)

The Aga Khan Museum, with its striking contemporary architecture, is a unique institution in North America dedicated to showcasing the artistic and scientific contributions of global Muslim communities. The museum's 1,000-piece permanent collection includes intricate objects, drawings, architectural elements, jewelry, and illustrated books from various Islamic civilizations dating back to the tenth century. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum hosts rotating exhibitions and special events that explore diverse aspects of Islamic culture.
I loved the Aga Khan Museum—it presents Islam in a sophisticated and authentic way, just as it truly is. The exhibits feature ancient Islamic details that are rich, meaningful, and deeply inspiring. Most of the staff are elderly, and their kindness and warmth made me feel like I was being welcomed by grandparents. Visiting this museum feels like stepping into another world—calm, spiritual, and beautifully serene. The architecture of the building is truly distinctive, both inside and out. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the choice of colors and the attention to detail are simply exceptional. This is by far the most beautiful museum I have ever visited. I truly appreciate the efforts of every employee working there.

The Aga Khan Museum is honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Toronto. The outside of the building itself is stunning and super peaceful with so much natural light. I felt like I landed in a foreign place. The staff are all friendly and polite, making u feel welcomed into their space. Altough I would wish they can have a staff member at the entrance welcoming in guests and leading them to checkin. The exhibits are amazing — you really get to see the richness of Islamic art and history, and everything is presented in such a modern, thoughtful way for all kinds of audiences to learn and explore. The gardens and reflecting pool outside are perfect for just sitting and relaxing after walking through the galleries. There is a small cafe inside as well. Overall, such a unique and inspiring place. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something unique and meaningful to do in the city.

Aga Khan Museum is a stunning cultural gem in Toronto, offering a deep and inspiring look into Islamic art, culture, and history. The architecture itself is breathtaking — bright, modern, and full of light, perfectly complementing the exhibits inside. The museum’s collection is beautifully curated, showcasing artifacts, manuscripts, and art pieces from around the world. The temporary exhibitions are always engaging and thought-provoking. The staff are knowledgeable, and the guided tours add great context to what you see. Don’t miss the peaceful courtyard and the Diwan restaurant, which serves delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in a lovely setting. A perfect place for anyone who appreciates art, history, and cultural exploration — serene, educational, and beautifully designed.

I was genuinely impressed by the Aga Khan Museum. It features two beautifully curated floors with a variety of exhibitions that are both informative and visually stunning. The surrounding park is peaceful and well-maintained - perfect for a stroll before or after your visit. The gift shop also has a lovely selection of unique items. During our visit, we even saw a wedding taking place, which added to the charm of the whole experience. A wonderful place to explore art, culture, and history.

The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto is a true cultural gem that deserves every bit of a 5-star rating! From the moment you step in, the stunning architecture by Fumihiko Maki captivates with its blend of modern lines and Eastern-inspired elegance, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere. The museum’s exhibits, focusing on the art, culture, and history of Islamic civilizations, are breathtakingly diverse and meticulously curated. From ancient Middle Eastern artifacts to exquisite calligraphy and textiles, each piece tells a unique story. The temporary exhibitions are always fresh and thought-provoking, offering new perspectives with every visit. The Persian-inspired courtyard garden is a tranquil oasis, perfect for reflection or a peaceful stroll. The staff are incredibly professional and welcoming, and the guided tours are enriched by their deep knowledge. The café and gift shop are also top-notch, perfectly complementing the museum’s ambiance. As a Toronto resident, I can’t recommend the Aga Khan Museum enough. It’s not just a museum—it’s a journey through the rich history and artistry of the Islamic world. An absolute must-visit! Five stars all the way!

Spectacular cultural and social experience! We arrived and were welcomed by a very nice gentleman who briefly described the museum. We took the guided tour of the”As the Sun Appears from Behind,” which was absolutely fascinating. It’s a temporary exhibit from the Al Budra award-winning Islamic art. Adding to the vibe, a duo played Islamic music in the courtyard. The restaurant menu (available on the website) looked very tasty. Since we visited between lunch and dinner, we enjoyed the fresh offerings at the cafe. We highly recommend this oasis. It was about 30 minutes by Uber from our hotel in Toronto, but well worth the effort. Also glad to see that the cafe used cutlery produced from plant starch rather than plastic. Oh, don’t miss the signature museum piece “Your Way Begins on the Other Side.” It’s a contemporary work 18’x6’ made with over one million gold plated pins. (See last of photos.) it speaks to the pitfalls and paradoxes encountered on the journey toward spiritual bliss.

Located in a cozy complex that is modern and chic, Aga Khan provides a glimpse into the Islamic culture and traditional art that is both astonishingly stunning and intellectually inspiring. We spent the afternoon in the museum and learnt a lot of about the culture. The permanent exhibition brings artefacts from around the world into the building, with many approaching a thousand years of age and still preserved in very good condition. We were slightly disappointed from the fact that the collection is quite limited, and I wasn’t sure if there is a particular story telling in how the museum collection is planned. It was by region and I feel like I did not learn a lot about how Islam was developed in each region and the contrast and the similarity. The special exhibition we saw was from the calligraphy and we did learn more about the specifics of it, but some of the information was overlapped with the permanent exhibition. Overall it was a joyful 1-2 hour visit but it wasn’t a whole afternoon activity.

Not much to see to be honest. The price for the entry is fair, so I don’t feel scammed. It may be good if you know how to read Arabic or the language on display there. Coat check is included or complimentary. There was some good pieces to see, for example, the old books. Mild experience for me. Maybe worth a visit if you are close by.

AGO Bistro is a modern and chic restaurant located on the first floor of the Art Gallery of Ontario in downtown Toronto. The bistro offers an innovative seasonal menu with fixed-price lunch and dinner specials, providing visitors with a delightful dining experience. The gallery itself is one of the largest art museums in North America, featuring an extensive collection of over 95,000 works of art from various artists around the world.
Pretty good food and portions! Had a private dining experience in the back for one of their events but the food was still amazing and the service quicker than I thought! The soup was refreshing on a winter day and had a perfect nuttiness. The croque madame was huge and filling, soft bread and eggs with a nice side salad! Love that the AGO has their own restaurant so that you can check their awesome museum before or after!

I came here with three friends for the Afternoon Tea service. The food and tea were quite good, good portions. We were also able to try as many different teas as we wanted to. An added bonus was getting access to the AGO included with the price of our Afternoon Tea service, which was an excellent addition!

We had a wonderful lunch at the AGO Bistro, after a great morning in the gallery. The food was superb. I had a delicious Heritage Carrot and Beet salad with chicken - it was sharp and sweet and the chicken was tasty and generous. My husband had the Salmon Rosti and reported that it was really tasty. The wine list was comprehensive and our white was served perfectly chilled. The service was brilliant too, friendly, knowledgeable, good humoured and still unobtrusive. I highly recommend lunch at the Bistro.

I am truly saddened that I have to write a not so friendly review of this Bistro situated in one of my favourite galleries. When I stepped inside, I was greeted by a beautiful and kind girl who, in sync with my wishes, found a table in a gallery overlooking the Bistro's windows. When a young, ginger-haired server came, satisfaction dissipated quickly. I asked him to tell me more about the Woolwich Goat Cheese and Herb Quiche from their menu, and he responded, "Well, a Quiche is a Quiche.!" His response rubbed me the wrong way because I am a Croat, and my country is not into Quiche "business." But even if I were a Canadian connoisseur of the Quiche, I still deserve a better response. I did not get up and leave because I didn't want to be brushed in the "emotional" colour like women often are. Instead, I ordered the burger (my least favourite dish) and a beer (Mill St. Organic, 341ml). I first got my beer in a glass (containing certainly less than 341 ml of beer). Ten minutes later, the server brought me my burger in a bun on top of burnt, greasy fries. Ugh. I put aside the top of the bun and discovered burnt bacon topped with cheese on a charred burger, all topped with watercress and lots of mayonnaise. Double ugh. I was hungry, and since my burger was not cheap ($23 before tax), I ate parts of it. I was mid-meal when Mr. Ginger, the server, came and asked, "Are you still eating?" Yet again, I did not respond as I would in my country (not holding back the truth). Instead, I minced a dry yes. It seemed I was too slow for this server—he wanted me gone. I finished my meal with a stomach tied in a knot from humiliation and suppressed anger. Somehow, this experience stained my joy of visiting AGO today. And this is not easy to do since I have been AGO's faithful visitor and member from day one.

We were greeted by a lady at the front who told us we couldn’t sit at a certain table. She mentioned it was reserved, but we later realized it wasn’t. We came with our child, and I couldn’t help but feel that maybe she wasn’t very welcoming toward families with kids. That said, the food was great, and the lady who served us at the table was very kind and attentive. I hope the management is aware of how important it is for guests to feel warmly welcomed upon arrival. I don’t know the name of the lady at the front, but I hope she can be retrained on guest service. We do hope to have a better experience when we come back next time.

We had brunch on Sunday and was disappointed by the service. The waiter forgot to bring the second soup. We ended up having one soup cold another one warm. If we wanted the soup to be warm we were told we had to wait another 10 min. The portions of soup were very small, I was surprised.

Look down at the photos, you're probably thinking: "why is he rating this place so low? Place looks good". Don't be deceived. Besides the appetizer of the curry roll (which was spicy), everything else was really DRY and almost FLAVOURLESS. Like I was so shocked.... I can't even begin to explain how I felt... What made it worse is that we went for the "summerlicious" even where restaurants across the city offered three-coursed meals at affordable prices, even with this affordable price or was awful. Also the service here was a bit... I don't how to explain it but it seemed dismissive. One particular female server literally scoffed and rolled her eyes when I asked for more water because "were not her table" such an open display of scorn doesn't make you feel good being a patron. Please don't come here.

We just had our wedding at Granite in September and the day went perfectly. The accommodating and relaxed environment of Granite and the staff just makes for a cozy and intimate environment. The perfect vibe for our wedding! We had 70 people in total and it was perfect. The fact that you can have a quiet garden ceremony, followed by a covered patio cocktail hour, followed by a dinner reception in the back dining room is so ideal. We did a buffet style reception and the food was a big hit, guests are still complimenting it weeks later. Drink service was super attentive. Shout out to Trish who was a familiar and happy face throughout the day. There was nowhere else in Toronto that we could have had this versatility in venue, quality of service, and a central Toronto location for the price. Super reasonable and Sam the GM consistently entertained all of my questions fast and professionally. Their FAQ online is also so helpful and transparent. Thank you Granite team!!!

My husband and I got married at the Granite recently and we had such a wonderful time that it's kind of hard to express how much we love this wonderful establishment and its people. The people: Firstly, Sam was our main point of contact for our wedding and from our first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands. He was responsive, friendly, and genuine whenever we spoke to him and we just knew we could trust him with our big day. We visited the Granite one day several months before our wedding to find that a renovation had happened unbeknownst to us and the reception area for our wedding looked quite different than what we had originally booked. When we reached out to Sam about it, he took the time to explain why the renovations were necessary (it made total sense), took accountability immediately, and made things right for us. It meant a lot to us that he didn't just dismiss us or argue with us, and it says a lot about how well he manages his family's business. In addition to Sam, everyone who works at the Granite is super lovely. Ryan, Tinna, Owen, and Ada are all super friendly and always provide amazing service. The feedback we got from our wedding guests was that the service was prompt and excellent. Unfortunately, one of our guests made a mess on the floor (we're so sorry) but the staff handled it so professionally and didn't mention a word of it to us. The food: The food at the Granite is amazing. All our guests raved about the food, including my picky mother! We went with Buffet 2 and both the chicken and beef were incredible. Both were perfectly cooked. Super tender and juicy - not dry at all. My go-to on regular days (not my wedding day) is the lamb curry which is so hearty, delicious and really spicy. Ironically, despite getting married at a brewery, I am not a big drinker but have quite enjoyed the Ringberry ale! They are also super accommodating and clear about dietary restrictions so if you have any vegetarians or people with allergies in your group, they are very easy to work with. Atmosphere + premises: From the outside you would never be able to tell how just how charming this place is. The indoor seating areas are just so cozy and the reception area is great for events. We also attended a trivia night once and it was a blast. The patio is really nice and overlooks a beautiful courtyard which is where we did our wedding ceremony + photos. I cannot get over how beautiful it looked out there with the white hydrangeas in full bloom. We also love how the washrooms are inclusive. Our guests appreciated that this was an all-in-one venue where you can do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location. No one wants a 3 hour gap between a church service and a reception at opposite ends of the city! Value: If you're looking for a wedding venue that can accommodate around ~100 ish, I highly recommend checking out the Granite. Every other venue we looked at was ridiculously priced with crazy additional fees. The Granite gives you everything you need without ever trying to upsell you or charge you for any extra stuff. It's all very clear from the beginning what you're paying for. I promise you won't be disappointed if you book your wedding with Granite. They really are the best team and my husband and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work in making our day so perfect. In summary: -great food -great staff -cozy + intimate atmosphere -beautiful courtyard -free parking -fun, inclusive events like drag brunches -ceremony, cocktail hour + reception all-in-one location What more could you ask for?

We have had our team holiday party at the Granite Brewery for the past 4 years now and we keep coming back for several reasons. The room is beautifully decorated for the holidays and is very spacious to hold a large team event. I highly recommend the holiday buffet - there is so much variety and the food is always delicious! The staff are always very polite, accommodating and lovely to work with. Every year our team prefers to return to the Granite Brewery! I would highly consider this venue for a large team event 40-60 people. Thank you for ensuring that our event was so enjoyable!

Food was nothing special, just okay for a pub. Beer was decent and the service was fine. Overall, an average experience.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Granite, and I truly couldn't imagine a better venue. The space has a charming, old pub style with just the right amount of modern touches. It's warm, inviting, and full of character. The ceremony area is naturally beautiful — a quiet, serene pocket that somehow feels totally peaceful, even though you're right in the heart of Toronto. It was the perfect setting for such a special moment. The staff were incredible. From start to finish, they were attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. They kept the venue looking flawless all night and made us feel completely taken care of. And the food — wow. Weeks after the wedding, our guests are still talking about it! We've even heard that some have already returned to The Granite for lunch or dinner because they loved it so much. This was the perfect place to gather with our closest friends and family to celebrate our love. I would trust The Granite over and over again to host such an important day

Brunch restaurant
Chotto Matte Toronto is a trendy restaurant located in the Financial District, offering a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. The concept of Nikkei cuisine, which combines Peruvian ingredients with Japanese techniques, takes center stage here. The vibrant decor and lively atmosphere make it an inviting spot for diners to enjoy unique dishes alongside cocktails and wine.
My partner and I have dined at Chotto Matte several times now in the last couple of years and it is truly a special place. Whether we're celebrating, or just passing by, the staff here are always professional and the food is fantastic. I am Peruvian myself, and while the menu is clearly inspired by this culture, it is an asian-fusion experience as well and should be treated as such (that's a good thing). While I don't always write reviews, my family and I were particularly blown away with our most recent visit and I had to chime in. A huge shout out to our waiter and bartender, Christian, for making every effort to provide an excellent dining experience. We will coming back very soon, I'm sure of it!

Requested a private booth for our anniversary when booking but the server said that it’s only for 4 people. Would have been nice to be secluded instead of being sat right next to other people. I also expected to receive a dessert for our anniversary especially for the amount you are paying for the food, but we had to order our own dessert. Other than that the food was delicious. The pollo den miso chicken was very tasty, the cod was very soft. The wedge salad was refreshing & flavorful. The sushi roll was warm and melted in your mouth. The creme brûlée was not too sweet.

Shout out to NG, the manager — super professional and friendly service! The food was amazing; the Peruvian-Japanese fusion was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. We had the edamame, Chotto ceviche, Chotto Caesar, spicy tuna Hako roll, Pollo Picante, BBQ Huacatay broccoli, Salmon Anticucho, and for dessert, the passion fruit crème brûlée with lychee and coconut ice mochi, plus the chocolate Nutella churros. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this spot — great food, great service, great vibe.

Right across from union station! After a long flight from Cali we needed a quick bite that’s refreshing and the moment we walked in they helped us with our luggage’s and hold it for us and we were seated right away. Lounge vibes with live music, great place for drinks and food. Can’t wait to come back. Must get the salmon dish, and the signature roll, chef choice nigiri. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Had a great time at Chotto. The food was delicious and our server Megan made sure we are comfortable all the way. The manager of the restaurant NG was super ptofessional and fun. A great place to enjoy with friends and family. Will definitely be back.

Whoever designed the menu for this restaurant is OBSESSED with flambéing most of the dishes... it's a bit tedious eating everything smoky when many dishes are actually quite good without it... I'd say it interferes a lot with the flavor, which is already quite good... It's normal for plates to break from use, but it's very unpresentable to receive a broken plate that I wouldn't use at home. The music was very good. The service was fine. I tried two non-alcoholic drinks on the menu and didn't like them; they were bitter, and I think most of us who don't drink alcohol do so because we detest bitterness. In short, I thought it was okay, but I wouldn't go back. I haven't even paid yet, and I already wrote this review when I usually take days to do so. Also I’m here maybe 10mins without water and almost 6 persons working and ANYONE bring me water… THE BOY was cooking he send someone 🫶

We recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food itself tasted okay, but the portions were quite small for the prices, which was disappointing. What affected our experience the most was the very slow service. Our table was served in two separate rounds — half of us got our meals first, and the other half waited so long that some of us were already finished eating before the rest of the food arrived. We also had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, like rice and fries, and each one came with significant delays. Even after requesting that everything be served together, it still took about 20–30 minutes for all dishes to arrive. Overall, the food was okay, but the slow service and small, overpriced portions made the experience less enjoyable. Could be better with improved organization and timing.

We haven't enjoyed a meal like this in a long time. The service and welcoming was warm and comfortable. They were all very attentive to allergies and food requirements. The food is exquisite, each an adventure in something new and delicious. The atmosphere is airy, light, beautiful Peruvian music, not too loud, so conversation is easy. Definitely will go back. Highly recommended. :) Sue and Steven

Mediterranean restaurant
Lounge
Bar Reyna is a stylish restaurant located in Toronto's Yorkville neighborhood, housed in a two-story historic Victorian building. The interior boasts a beautifully designed space with a lush, greenery-filled patio that provides an all-season dining experience. The menu offers Mediterranean snacks and signature cocktails, featuring a variety of meze options such as lamb kofta and crispy halloumi, as well as unique dishes like zaatar fried chicken and falafel tacos.
Celebrated a friend's birthday with a group of 9 people. We had a set menu and chef Jordan did not disappoint. The food and drinks were on point! Check out this newly renovated restaurant.

It’s a nice place, with a menu that’s a mix of Spanish dishes and some Mediterranean options 🫤. We ordered two tapas: the octopus, which came in a very tiny portion (just small pieces on a skewer) and honestly nothing special, and the ham baklava, which made me curious since I’d never had it before. The flavor actually reminded me of a famous Persian dish — tasty, but definitely not a baklava 😅. We also tried the potato pavé from the vegetable menu (not tapas). I’d never had it before, and while the portion was small, it was very tasty and enjoyable.

finally decided to try this place after seeing it go viral and was not disappointed! Located in a truly great Toronto neighborhood, it was the perfect spot to settle in and get some work done. I ordered the octopus and two cocktails. I can confidently say the octopus was prepared perfectly—it literally melted in my mouth. It's rare to find a place that cooks it this well. The drinks were chef's kiss; absolutely top-tier. The service was a highlight. My server, Ty, was excellent. He constantly had an eye on my table, ensuring I had everything I needed to focus on my work without being intrusive. Impeccable service like that makes a difference. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work or a beautiful setting for a meal, this place is fantastic. Their patio is stunning—definitely worth checking out! I'll be back soon

Went on a valentine’s date to Bar Reyna. And I am really glad I did. We had a great time - the place was very cute (but the music a bit too loud), the service was very good (special shout out to our amazing server ABC!). The food was also very good - i am still drooling over their Lamb Baklava, which was one of the most tasty and interesting dishes I’ve ever had. The meat dishes overall were quite good, and the greek fries were delicious too. Sadly i was not so convinced by their calamari (a tiny bit overcooked, but still good). Will definitely go again to have those sweet&savoury lamb baklavas (and try other dishes!)
Frédérick D — Google review
I do not recommend this restaurant as the quantity of meals (large bites section) is quite less. Their Reyna salad is of such a less quantity for $28 Lamb baklava is good but again is barely a treat. Food tastes great but the quantity is too less for their price.
Namitha N — Google review
The food here was absolutely fantastic – the lamb baklava was rich and flavourful, and the Reyna salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the wine Bryan recommended was spot on and made the whole meal even better. What really made the experience memorable, though, was our server Bryan. He was attentive, friendly, and explained the menu in such a simple and welcoming way. His knowledge of the dishes and wine was impressive, and his warm smile truly brightened the atmosphere. Overall, an excellent dining experience that I would highly recommend!

Beautiful place and people! Their drinks selection is excellent and the Lebanese taco hits the right spot! But, Cal was truly the highlight of my experience. He took great care of me. He is pleasant and attentive the perfect amount. Made me feel like I was visiting my friend for lunch, loved it! 😊 Thanks Cal! I will definitely be back for Cal and the tacos!

Came by for brunch on Father’s Day. We ordered the Reyna salad, lamb shank Benny, salmon board and Greek fries. The food was generally okay, but something I noticed is the hot food arrived a little lukewarm. The cold dishes also weren’t as flavourful as we would have liked. (I’ve previously been here recently for dinner and recall that being pretty delicious. So, I wonder if it’s just the brunch items needing some work.) The food aside, the back patio was very comfortable and the table service excellent. I booked a reservation expecting a crowd based on past experiences, but the restaurant was surprisingly empty for a weekend brunch.

Went to see Orpheus and Eurydice. The lead wasn't the strongest. The opening was boring. The female lead, orchestra, and choir were outstanding. The dancers were good. The stage direction was vanilla, but more dull. The special effects were juvenile. The point of the story was completely missed. The ending was the best laugh I've had in years. It was beyond bad and fit for an elementary school play. That's saying a lot for something that should have left you heartbroken by the human tragedy and moral of this epic tale. Not everything needs a ribbon for showing up. Close and good effort, well you tried and, love conquers all isn't always the right thing to say. In the end, it was just an exhausting and miserable way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The performance of The Magic Flute on Sunday Ostober 19 2025 was spectacular, absolutely one of the best showsI have seen lately in Toronto. The costumes, the sets, the dancing , the singing, the acting, all was not only beautiful but most entertaining. A feast for all the senses! One criticism: Papageno sometimes spoke too fast so was difficult to understand. He should slow down and enunciate better.

Soho House Toronto, located at Bishop's Building, 192 Adelaide St. W., Toronto, ON, offers various membership options with fees ranging from $983.10 for an annual membership for those under 27 to $1,977.50 for access to all global locations. The brunch menu features New York-inspired dishes like bagel towers and a variety of noshes including a blooming onion and roasted artichokes with labneh.
Kids love the word "aura" these days, and when my dad asked me what it means I told him "think Soho House 2010-2014." That confused him more but I like messing with my dad. Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there… but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here… please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Thank you Soho House Toronto, for giving me a taste of what the Soho House used to be in the states. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

While the food and location are great, the service is not up the required level. I came with my daughter and specifically requested a non spicy meal. I ended up with spicy mayo and pepper covered veggies. Definitely no communication has been made to the kitchen to fulfill my need. Disappointing indeed.

Excellent spot with great vibes for a meeting or for casual hang with friends (as long as your friends have membership to Soho House IYKYK 😁). We had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was delicious, service impeccable. They also have a great selection of food for our vegetarian and gluten-free friends. The roasted salmon was seasoned well, and most importantly had crispy skin - yum! My colleague was very pleased with his zza, by the look on his face. Delicious and a well-cooked undercarriage! We’ll definitely be back if our friend invites us to hangout there again! 😁

My wife has been a member of the Soho house Toronto for 2 years now and I always enjoy visiting with her as a guest! Today was a fabulous brunch with friends for a birthday. We had the pleasure of being served by Karen, who was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to the table was diligent and swift. The food... WOW! I enjoyed the cold buffet, with fruit, cold cuts and an assortment of dishes. Followed by the most amazing fried chicken, macaroni and back bacon. My wife always indulges in the salmon, seafood and oysters. While my toddler ate more selection than I could keep track of. The freshly made crepes at the end, sealed my stomach with a kiss! I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend anyone that’s considering becoming a member!!! UPDATE!!! Just spent New Year’s Eve 2020(Phantom of the Opera theme) with our friends on the first floor. Brewery
Brickworks Ciderhouse is a popular spot in Leslieville, Toronto, offering a diverse range of house-made ciders and globally inspired gastropub dishes. The establishment is known for its innovative cider-making techniques, such as dry hopping and aging in tequila barrels, resulting in unique flavors like the pink cider made with raspberry and blueberry juice. Additionally, Brickworks Ciderhouse hosts a monthly drag brunch event that has become a local favorite.
I chose Brickworks CiderHouse to celebrate my birthday with friends and I couldn't have chosen a better place. As a fan of Brickworks Cider, I was excited to visit their cider house and was not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised to see their new brunch menu as we were in the mood for brunch, but suspected the menu would be lunch only. Lorraine was our server and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left she provided absolutely exceptional service and made us feel welcome. Lorraine went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our food and cider and made my birthday special. I really appreciated the special touches to celebrate my birthday including the sign on the table and the complimentary dessert. Don't sleep on the new brunch menu, especially the chicken and waffles! They were phenomenal.

My partner and I tried this place for summerlicious. I love the atmosphere it’s gives a brewery/loft vibe. The waitress we had was super nice and respectful. I liked the presentation of the food. We got the pork croquettes which were delicious. They fell apart and the crust was not too doughy. I found the flavours of the peach mango salad (I think that’s it) complimented each other, but it was kind of small. I got the Buttermilk fried chicken and it was delicious! There was not too much batter, the chicken was juicy and the honey coating was delicious. The salad was ok and the fries were good. My partner got the trout and veggies and the veggies looked disappointing, something you’d get from a can, but he mentioned the trout was good. I got the poached pear for dessert, it was delicious! My partner got the apple crumble. The flavours were nice but there wasn’t too much crumble and the apples were a bit hard (but it could be preference). We don’t drink but I do recommend stopping by and checking their many cider options. They look delicious and there are so many. Overall this place is pretty chill for a drink and a quick bite.

We came to your restaurant today for the first time and I must say we were blown away! We love to travel to different breweries and enjoy their flights and food. We saw this online and wanted to give it a try. We had 8 of your ciders, the sourdough cheese bread, the chicken burger (best chicken burger we've had ina very long time), Brickworks burger and the apple pie. All were incredibly delicious. The best part was our waiter- Frank was so welcoming, kind, made great suggestions and attentive. Very impressed. We look forward to returning again soon!

Carmen is THE BEST! We had a really good time at Brickworks Ciderhouse. Carmen is so friendly, efficient, and professional; she made us feel very comfortable and have a happy time at this place. The food and drinks were good! Really fast service which is always amazing. We ordered Brussels sprouts, fish and chips, and chicken sandwich with fries and they were all delicious! The food was a little too oily to our liking, and after leaving the restaurant we felt it, but overall we had a good time and food! V.

We had an incredible time here! They offer delicious handcrafted ciders (you can get a flight and try out a bunch of different flavours). They also use fresh pressed apples from Ontario - definitely worth visiting! We got to try a bunch of different food items from their menu & we recommend ordering the hummus, baked Brie, oysters and the apple pie! If you’re in Toronto, it’s a spot worth checking out!

So much fun! Make a resi as this place was PACKED and I don't think they were taking walk-ins. There was nothing available online, but when I called, we got in. The menu is very diverse, with lots of options for vegetarian and gluten-free. Everything we ordered was SUPER good, and portions quite generous. Lots of ciders, of course, but also good wines, beer, and cocktails. Service was really good for a place that just opened its doors. Warning....the noise level is HIGH, and the place has a very happy and happening vibe! They also appear to serve brunch. We'll be back for sure!

The vast array of ciders will have something for everyone. [Food] I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. It was decent. It came with fries, and the fries were also average. The food came quickly. [Drinks] This is the reason why I'd recommend coming. There are so many ciders and I'd suggest getting a flight to try out as many as possible. Some ciders can be a hit or miss. [Service] The service was top notch, they were kind and helpful. [Atmosphere] This is a great place to enjoy a cider any time of the day

I visited Flash several times since I arrived to this country and it was my favourite spot to go! What I saw my friends experienced on the pride day was very disappointing. We came early to get our tickets and we made our line for 30 min to re-enter. I would say that we were very respectful and because I loved this place, I’m very respectful to the staff. Anyways, my girlfriend had a bruise on her wrist for almost a week after she and her husband were thrown out by the security in the line. We left the place right away and very sad. It bitter our night, we had much fun!

No need to be rude… everyone’s drinking and some may drank a bit too much, but end of the day, we are just trying to have fun. Glasses heart is kinda pathetic… be kind! 🤡 This performer/dancer was extremely aggressive and rude. My friend was cheering for her and being nice to give her a tip while performing. When she got the tip while dancing, my friend just said “show me more” and was trying to dance with her. Obviously it means let’s have fun, let’s dance together, show me a different dance move etc. But the dancer aggressively pushed her away and said “If you give me money, just give it and move on, don’t rub it on my face, I’m not a dog”… then shockingly called my friend the C word…..🤯 This is actually pathetic, as the whole situation can be and should be handled completely different. The dancer’s response clearly showed her self-abasement and how unnecessarily sensitive she is, she could totally just had fun with the situation and move on with her performance. Instead, she chose to be extremely rude about it. I was kinda iffy about coming to this club as there are so many bad reviews saying the staffs are rude and services wasn’t good. Now I know they all true, including the dancer! Even tho the owner always like to respond the one star reviews saying their reviews are “not true”… but hey, I experienced it first hand, ITS TRUE! Just do better…

If i could leave no stars i would. Dont come to this place if you have other options. Convento rico is only $10 cover and free before a certain time. The security working the night of April 5th physically assaulted my husband unprovoked. We were headed to coat check, when he grabbed him and dragged him out. I asked why and was told he was being aggressive. Anyone would get aggressive or upset when you're being touch without consent. Seriously wow. This was our first time for a friends birthday and it really sucked unfortunately. We had high expectations. Paid $20 each to get man handled like that? No thank you. Will never return and do not recommend.

How long will I be chased by security because I'm holding my sweater and didn't check it in. So tacky! You spend over a $100 on expensive drinks but they want that $3 for coat check.. sorry "sweater" check. Who wants to go out and deal with that?
Benny M — Google review
Such a rude bartender, I just asked for some water and they refused. I have been to woodys and black eagles, never had a problem for such a small matter

25The Spring Team Real Estate

Real estate agency
The Spring Team Real Estate is making waves in Toronto's property market with their personalized approach to home buying and selling. Their dedicated agents, like Daniela, Ara, and Kiersty, go beyond the typical real estate service by truly understanding their clients' needs and preferences. Instead of sending generic listings, they take the time to study what you want in a home. This attention to detail ensures that clients find properties that genuinely fit their criteria while avoiding potential pitfalls.
My partner and I have used the Spring Team to buy a house, sell a condo, and find tenants for a rental property. We don’t have enough positive things to say about the experience! Kiersty and the Spring Team go above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible and it’s been so enjoyable to work with them. I don’t think we would have been as successful in getting our desired outcomes with another realtor. Most recently, Kiersty helped us find a new tenant for a rental property on King West. Not only did she coordinate everything with pictures and scheduling with the previous tenants, very white glove service, she was able to get us $250 more a month than we listed for!! And thats in a rough market. She also did amazing diligence on the applicants. 100/10, no notes, best realty team to work with.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the Spring Team to purchase my condo in downtown Toronto, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first meeting, Kiersty demonstrated exceptional professionalism, deep market knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping clients find the perfect home. What truly set the Spring team apart was their attention to detail and commitment to understanding exactly what I was looking for. They guided me through every step of the process, making what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless and enjoyable. Their responsiveness, patience, and expert advice gave me confidence at every turn. Thanks to Kiersty's dedication, I found a beautiful condo that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Spring team as they made this journey memorable.

We worked with Ara and Kiersty to sell our condo and buy a house in Toronto. It was amazing how right from our first call they understood exactly what we were looking for in a house, and were able to find places that met all our criteria. They also saved us from buying a train wreck of a house through great due diligence on who the constructor was. When we started the selling process, we really saw the advantage of their broad team and the white glove service that made the listing and moving process easy and simple. I highly recommend them to everyone I know, this team delivers!!!
Brandon — Google review
When you are a real estate team you should focus on real estate not political views. Trying to divide people is not appropriate for your office. While helping me purchase a house I would have loved to have not been lectured on why the liberal government is great.
Chris — Google review
Was referred to this team by a friend of mine who lives downtown. I like to do my research before hiring someone to work for me and I can say I was very disappointed with the research that came up. A real estate agent with this attitude towards potential clients and mocking first time buyers in a time where things are so expensive is sickening Needless to say I will not be hiring this team for my real estate transaction nor should you!!!! Mila has been our real state agent for years now. She has helped us buy and rent several times our investment property. She and her team make things extremely easy. They take care of absolutely everything and their use of technology is amazing which makes the process even smoother for us. She provides updates several times a day throughout the process. We let her know that our tenants were leaving on a Thursday and by Tuesday we have signed a contract with the new tenants. Every time we rent our place with her, we got the highest rent in the building for that type of unit. Sit back and let her do the job, it's as simple as that.

Diana has been an amazing experience! Found my new roof over the head thanks to her. Whether a new renter or seasoned one, Diana was super patient with me and was open to reaching out to the various places I was interested in. Feels like we have been through thick and thin. She is super professional but also understands the human side to moving, never pressing agendas. Happy to recommend her to other renters and owners looking to sell or buy!
Sushma S — Google review
I want to thank Daniela so so much for helping me buy my first home. Daniela has been showing me homes for the past 2-3 years and I swear if I was my own agent I would have fired myself long ago. Daniela doesn’t just show you homes she literally studies you and gets to know you inside out what you like what you don’t like everything. She is amazing at what she does. A lot of agents I have come across just put you on a list and send you generic emails of all kinds of houses that go on the market which I never appreciated. Daniela would literally hunt down houses for me because she knew exactly what I wanted I liked. I can’t thank her enough for helping me with my first purchase. Thank you for being so patient with me ❤️

"The Lodge" is a popular spot located in Toronto's Gay Village, known for its large patio and vibrant atmosphere. It's the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy craft beer or delicious cocktails while people-watching on a sunny day. Additionally, Crooked Lake Lodge offers an exceptional fishing experience, catering to group bookings of 10-18 guests. The lodge provides well-planned private party spaces with beautiful food presentations and efficient service.
I love this joint. My bff and I have been coming here as our regular forever and the drag shows are next level! If you’re looking to laugh all night, have drinks and have an all around good time this place is the best! Michael is the best bartender, ever. The Queens are amazing and hilarious, and the staff outside and in make the whole night magical. We’ll come back ALWAYS.
Baynzer — Google review
My first time at The Lodge was incredible!! The staff are so welcoming and then queens are gorgeous & comical performers and really know their audience! The food is great and so are the drinks, virgin & with alcohol. Hope to go again soon!

Every time we come, it’s for Jordana Myles. She is such a talented performer and comic! Truly a master at what she does. The drinks are amazing here, the atmosphere is so welcoming, and the staff are so kind!

Had the BEST time last night! The atmosphere was spot on with incredible staff, Dottie Dangerfield and Jordana Myles. Would go back in a heartbeat. Can not beat a great performance with fantastic music.
Hibby T — Google review
My girlfriend and I have been going to The Lodge for years, and have recently grown very fond of Jordana Myles and the incredible community she’s fostered. Last night with Jordana and Rosie was by far the best show we’ve ever caught. The room was so full and engaged- you could feel people on the edge of their seats waiting to get involved. We can’t put words to how wonderful it feels to be in a space that not only welcomes, but celebrates queer women.
Lydia C — Google review
Friendly courteous service. Great atmosphere. I was visiting from out of town and I’ve never heard of this place so I stopped in. There was a drag show on the lower floor but too busy, no seats, so I went upstairs and met a whole bunch of wonderful people. The staff were very friendly and the karaoke was actually decent. Definitely recommend this place for anybody if you want to sit have a beer and talk to good people.
