My friends and I ate family style and ordered most of the menu - fatty brisket, bacon ribs, all three sausages, flat iron, and cheek (unfortunately, the ribs were already out). The cornbread was wonderful - the butter and strawberries that they come with are such a good pairing. The grain-bow salad was a nice and refreshing change-of-pace compared to the really heavy meats. The only dish I didn't like as much was the Chili Frito Pie, which I found to be too salty. Bottom line - amazing. I honestly don't know how BBQ can be topped. I asked someone I knew that had had their cakes before if they recommended them and they highly recommend them so I ordered three different cakes (red velvet, Italian cream & carrot cake) for the party. The cakes were ready at the time I needed and because I picked them up at 5:15pm parking was easy and there wasn’t a wait. The cakes were absolutely DELICIOUS! All of the guests throughly enjoyed them and some came back for seconds. The red velvet (which is my favorite type of cake) was the most moist red velvet I’ve ever had. Tacos are $6 each and promptly fall apart. Tons of toppings but add no actual flavor to the taco, over flowing with bland ingredients, the best part being the salsa verde creme on the side.
