I returned to another Gong Cha bubble tea chain which this is located at 38th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, Midtown West, Manhattan, NYC. This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfy my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Love gongcha! I got 0% sugar strawberry milk tea and my husband got 0% sugar taro milk tea. I love their holiday gingerbread bottle seasonal drink. The cutest bottle with amazing taste drinks! Two ladies who worked today were super nice and courteous as well!

The first time I visited this location the gals were great and knowledgeable. This time, I am glad I kept the receipt. At first. I thought the gals were friendly, different gals from previous visit.. The gals knew I had discounts. I had a choice of 20% discount for two drinks or a $5 off. I emphasize that is why I was buying two drinks. After selecting a 20% discount, you can't tell what they are doing on the POS system on their side, they ended up hitting a few buttons, cleared out my discount, I ended up paying full price. When one of them noticed something was wrong with the transaction after talking to her coworker, they both went ahead and ignored the problem without informing me. What's the point of the franchises for sending text alerts of discounts then. This negligence from Gong Cha is strike two. I am glad I kept the receipt for post transaction review. What a disappointment. Also, what's the point of the surveys when no one answers them.

Very good bubble tea. I think Shiny Tea in the UWS beats them out, but barely and this is much more convenient for me to get to. They have a large menu and ordered a few drinks. I didn't care for the tea with the foam on top. Their milk tea is perfect and the tapioca is cooked just right. Will be coming back for more.

This location of Gong Cha is one of our favorites since their service is pretty decent. The decor is similar to other branches, simple, humble and limited-spaced. We have visited a couple of times and what we always ordered was their Brown Suger Bubble Milk Tea in small size with less ice & 30% sugar. It's still too sweet but really satisfying and perfect as a dessert.

We chose Gong Cha instead of Boba, and my daughter — who just started collecting Felix badges — now comes here almost every day! 😅 If they ever give out photocards, it’ll be absolute chaos! 💜

Got the black sugar boba with cream mousse. Delicious! Not too sweet, not too watery. It paired well with a nice scoop of cookies and cream ice cream as a little sweet treat.

Delicious milk tea. I order brown sugar milk tea with less sugar and cream mouse and it was still kinda sweet for my liking. They have small and large pearl which are good combo.. tasted good. Fast and quick service

Went a while ago and just got to posting my review. We ordered the jumbo boba topping (was limited edition a while ago). Drink itself was okay but a bit too sweet for me, even with less sugar. Was a bit disappointed by the jumbo boba topping — was expecting it to be a huge tapioca boba, but was more of a coffee jelly type texture that wasn’t as chewy. Drinks had nice presentation and came out quickly.

Tiger sugar boba will always have the best Black sugar boba drinks. But I feel like they need to add an option to add more sugar because when I’m in need of a sweet tooth I feel the need for more sugar. But by far Tiger sugar has the best desserts and I hope to try more of their items instead of only getting their Black sugar boba drinks. The building is very nice and is perfect for taking pictures, though it’s very limited seating so don’t linger too much.

Such a nice boba 🧋 and ice cream shop in China Town! Looks like it can get busy but we came at the right time. The interior decor will keep your head turning and the menu options are plentiful. The in-store kiosk option that assists you with creating your drink and accepts payment. Great idea for beating long lines. Definitely MUST visit if you’re in the area!

No issues with a nut allergy here. I got a large honeydew tea with boba. Quite expensive, but hey, it's NYC. I think the ratio of powder to tea is a little off. The milk tea tasted almost cloying in a way. I would've liked more tea flavor. It was really lacking the refreshingness of fresh honeydew. The amount of boba was sufficient and the quality was good. I'd say it's average overall.

Place is poppin in the afternoon, lots of kids head here after school but they're all chill. Taro slush with egg pudding and boba was great

I got the kumquat lemon tea and it was perfect, not sweet, full of zesty flavour. Tapioca here also has a specific flavour and texture I pretty much enjoyed :)

Cute chill bubble tea spot. I got the dragon fruit float that unfortunately only comes in a large size so after a tip it was almost $10. Paying $10 for a liquid is a little bothersome but it was good. I'd go back and order something a little less expensive.

Love this place! I used to go in Chicago and was so excited to see it’s in NYC! You can ask for varying levels of sweetness/sugar which is amazing if you don’t like your tea super sweet. I always get the matcha slush or the tiramisu milk tea both with tapioca bubbles! It’s so good my favorite spot for a little afternoon treat.

Sorry to say that but the drinks from Boba Guys were disappointing. All drinks come with boba by default. I don’t like boba so I ordered my drinks without it. Wish they could offer a discount for drinks w/o boba, otherwise the price point is high for a non-boba drink. ＊Dirty Banana Milk The banana coffee was so bad that I had to return it. It tasted…mysterious. Neither banana milk nor the espresso stood out. It was a weird combination of flavors. Can’t believe this is one of their bestsellers. For similar price ($8+), I’d rather go to Not As Bitter. Their Banana Split is really good and I’m still dreaming about it. ＊Strawberry Matcha Latte I exchanged and picked their bestselling strawberry matcha this time. Thanks god this was so much better. It looked pretty, tasted not too sweet, while matcha and strawberry purée blending well with one another. However, it wasn’t good enough to attract me for a second visit.

I have tried giving this place a chance twice, but no matter what I get, the drinks are too watered down and not drinkable at all. I couldn’t even finish half both times. But the employees are very nice and their little trinkets they sell are cute! The drinks are just not even close to being decent.

My all time favorite boba tea space, they cook the best boba in town. Although it’s a bit pricy, but I’ll pay for that once in a while just to have their honey boba! My favorite was the strawberry matcha milk tea with boba! Also I love the design of the store, which was very zen!

This Boba Guys branch is on the smaller side and does not have any seating available. The service seemed a bit disorganized during peak hours, as our initial drink order was not correct. Nonetheless, the drinks were decent, and we enjoyed the pandan caramel boba with fairly chewy tapioca.

They’re back!! Or at least a pop up with limited hours, according to their website. I had enjoyed them prior to Covid and I believe their store is closing although I didn’t follow the soda too closely. This store is small but it seems very smartly set up. I couldn’t help ordering two drinks for myself including to bring home, one black milk tea and one Ube smoothie out of curiosity. I also asked for a last-minute change of toppings when I saw almond jelly was an option and they were able to accommodate. Thanks again!

This tea shop isn’t new to me, but I find the fruit tea a bit too sweet—more syrup-forward than tea-forward for my taste. I just wish the tea flavor came through more. On the positive side, the staff are super friendly, and I really love that they host community events like AnimeNYC and Yelp gatherings—it makes the place feel welcoming. As a Vietnamese customer, I also tried their bánh mì, but I feel it’s overpriced for the quality. The sandwich tends to get soggy when everything is put together, and unfortunately, it doesn’t quite live up to the standard I’d expect. That said, I’ll still come back to see how they improve over time.

The BBQ pork sandwich is not too bad. The egg tarts though are where it's at. If they weren't $3.50 a pop, I'd prob get more. The best egg tarts you can get without having to trek half an hour to Elmhurst. Astoria really needs to get some Chinese bakeries pronto. Def stop by here tho as the food is good and the service fast.

Supreme Banh Mi: I really enjoyed the supreme banh mi! The tangy, crunchy veggies paired perfectly with the extremely flavorful BBQ pork. The meat is grilled to perfect caramelization, savory and sweet with charred ends. The bread has a crunchy outside and is easy to bite into, not overly chewy. Egg Tart: The egg tart is really flaky with a milky center that’s great for dessert. Taro Milk with Coconut Milk: The boba is rich with brown sugar flavor, and the taro milk is smooth, like a yogurt-like slush with a very unique texture. You can taste the earthy and nutty taro flavor. Coffee: The coffee is full-bodied, rich, and deep. Mango Lassi: The mango lassi is smooth with refreshing mango puree.

Great bubble tea place! As a heads up, it is a sidewalk pick-up window only, no indoor space to sit. I had the strawberry lychee green tea and my partner had the Happy drink (passion fruit and strawberry pulp in their rose tea base). Both of us loved our drinks, would definitely go here again!

Authentic and FUN spot for brown sugar boba. The pearls are warm, chewy, and made fresh—exactly how they should be. The drinks are sweet but balanced, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. Great treat when you’re in Flushing.

The golden rule for value-chasers in the boba world: if the cup has a rounded bottom, it is overpriced. Xing Fu Tang is no exception to this rule, with drinks that will make you say, "This is pretty decent!" You likely won't be disappointed here, but it's nothing mind-blowing. Both of my drinks were on the sweeter side and the toppings were alright.

This is the best boba spot in Flushing!!! That is saying a lot since Flushing is boba tea central. The boba is super fresh!! You can watch them make it thru the glass 😍😍😍. Tried their passion fruit green tea and it tasted just as expected. The crushed lemon one was good also. Luckily we got here before a group of people showed up so we didn't have to wait that long after we ordered. There's a good amount of choices to choose from. Place was small and packed but I’m giving one star because they only had one worker working. Nothing against the worker but as a big chain like king fu tea they should have more than one worker working and giving out orders. Took 30 mins to receive a drink. That’s ridiculous. Do better kung fu tea.

The journey here proved completely justified. The position and atmosphere are both excellent. Their service execution is flawless. Each meal I've tried demonstrates flavor. Our time here was wonderful.

Probably the worst Kung Fu Tea location in the city that I've visited. First off, the bubble tea itself — it seems that many of the toppings beyond the tapioca pearls are quite stale. I've tried the nata jelly, aloe, oolohng tea jelly, etc. and the flavor was quite off, as if the toppings had gone bad. The tea itself is alright — probably the classic milk tea would be the only drink I would feel comfortable ordering here. The service has been quite poor during most of my visits — significantly worse than what I've encountered from other KFT locations. The location is very cramped, with hardly enough space for any more than a couple customers. Needless to say, there is no room for one to stay inside the store for any length of time. I've also ordered from the app several times for pickup, only to find that the location is actually closed and they neglected to update their hours. Getting a refund back on the order is also a huge inconvenience, requiring multiple emails with support that are often not responded to in any timely manner. I would strongly suggest visiting any of the many other bubble tea shops nearby instead.

I should’ve taken a picture before we dug in. I wasn’t planning on reviewing this place, but after taking that first bite, I just had to!! The yakisoba was absolutely delicious, it tasted similar to chicken teriyaki but with its own blend of flavors and the noodles had a very nice consistency. I would definitely recommend this dish paired with your bubble tea!

Been buying Yaya for a quick easy snacks traveling. First time buying from this branch after they renovated their store. Pretty quick service but found this small wire in the food. Please be more careful eating your food-inspect before consuming.

Keepin it real out here in Chinatown I didn't even know this is the OG Yaya tea spot, recently renovated, looks great and the food still authentic to what they always been serving. They got these extra huge rice balls here with a great amount of filling (protein) & sauce so it's not dry at all, goes great with the drinks. Will visit more often

Super good boba! Me- i hate when my drink is FULL of ice, because that means i get barely any drink and Yaya did not disappoint!!! They put the perfect amount of ice, and my drink had a few/little pieces when i was done so that was good. On top of that, drink was good, came out fast, and the people there were nice. Do recommend!

The tea and rice balls here are so yummy 😋 I had to come back multiple times during my trip because it was so good! I loved the shrimp tempura onigiri and the I love yaya tea. Will def be back!

I absolutely love Yaya Tea! Their riceballs and drinks are seriously next level. My go-to riceballs are the Crawfish and Japanese — both are packed with flavor and always super fresh. You can really taste the quality in every bite. And don’t even get me started on their drinks — the Sweet Temptation with Lychee and Aloe is my favorite! It’s the perfect balance of fruity and refreshing, and the aloe adds such a nice texture. Every visit feels like a treat, and the service is always friendly and fast. Yaya Tea never disappoints!

I'll be honest and say that Débutea just happened to be on the way from lower Manhattan all the way up to Bryant Park during our extreme walking marathon, and it couldn't have been a better stopover on a hot, humid New York day. The spot was super cute and their drinks were even cuter. Everything came in a plastic mason jar that you could save or recycle, so I expected high quality tea drinks. As a lover of milk teas, I went with their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Boba. I love that they offered non-dairy milk options here instead of just using a non-dairy creamer. My drink came out beautifully and after mixing it together, I could taste the high quality tea and the boba itself. Yum! Everyone seems to be raving about their quality fruit teas so that will have to be a go-to for next time.

Amazing! I came here in a 30 minutes before close. As I was walking I cane across two others who had boba from Débutea. I asked them if it was still tasty and fresh and they confirmed it was! 😁. I originally went for brown sugar boba but the strawberry was just SO convincing. I had to get it. It’s amazing. Fresh chewy boba, lactose free milk, and cheese foam. The staff was hospitable and very professional. I definitely will be coming back.

Debutea has been a regular spot for me and my girlfriend—we go often because she loves their soy milk tea, and I’ve always enjoyed the variety of drinks too. Their seasonal options, like the Pomelo and Coco Mango, have usually been hits with me. That said, today was the first time I left really disappointed. I ordered the Chrysanthemum tea, and it was by far the most watered-down drink I’ve ever had from them. Even my girlfriend immediately asked if it was just water before I tried it—and sure enough, it basically tasted like plain water. For a place that usually delivers on flavor and quality, this was surprising and really off-putting. We’ll still probably come back for our usual favorites, but I’d recommend avoiding the Chrysanthemum tea—it just doesn’t live up to the standard Debutea usually sets.

Our go-to dessert right after eating at Nan Xiang’s! Inside decor is cute and almost mystical with that stag wallpaper and tree decor. So many flavor options available on the menu but their brown sugar and ube-flavored ones are definitely our top picks! Love that it is sweet and milk and the bobas are just nice and chewy! I actually liked ordering from their kiosk as I find it convenient and I can look over what we actually ordered. Once you get them finalized, the wait is usually not long. Not much interaction with staff coz of that though but not a big deal. Ive tried another The Alley Branch but so far this one here at, Flushing, serves consistently good drinks!

I was attracted by the beautiful interior designs of this boba store The Alley. Very comfortable to dine in to enjoy their Matcha Briwn Sugar Deerioca Fresh Milk boba tea. Friendly service . Efficient in took orders and ready in timely manners . I will definitely return

The feel of "The Alley" is nice and clean. Only cold beverages are served. Their teas are super aesthetically pleasing, ⭐but most importantly they are delicious!⭐ The Aurora Series are super cold and bubbly, aside from looking so beautiful and colorful 🔥

The atmosphere in the alley is pretty chill. They serve up the typical milk tea fare, with the most popular being their Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme brulee milk tea. Their "deerioca" is the highlight in their drinks in an otherwise okay milk tea, but I've only tasted the most popular one.

We visited The Alley in East Village many times before the quarantine and we miss their brown sugar milk so much. We were so excited they opened up a new location in Flushing. The decor of the Alley is artsy and cozy with dozen of seats but only take-out & delivery were available during COVID-19. We ordered their Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk which was our favorite and the taste was the same as what we had at East Village. We highly recommend to try their Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk. The drink was tasty, creamy & rich and the bubble was cooked well & chewy.

Overhyped brand name. Was really excited to try this place when I saw it in Flushing since it’s a well established brand that manufactures it’s own milk tea and sells them in supermarkets. When I received my order it looked right, felt right, but the anticipated amazing taste was just not there. Oh and yes the price tag was there. Not worth it.

I ordered on hungry panda after seeing all the great reviews. The ube brown sugar was stupendous! I remember sipping and observing the cup in satisfaction. I love taro so it was great to have a cup of refreshing milk tea. Their bubbles are amazing as well!

Tiny but super cute little shop with boba, various teas that you can customize to your liking. They always give you a little taste before you commit to the sugar %. We also got 3 mini 🍙 for $7 that was absolutely delicious and fresh. Their thick toast with condensed milk & coconut 🤤 must try!

Barista was great! He recommended the mango and green tea slush (middle) and the passion fruit green tea slush (left). The milk tea was great as well. He gives you a sample of your drink to see if you like it before he wraps the drink! You can taste a strong tea flavor and it was a great balance

Got the taro milk tea with egg pudding and boba. This tea was something special like completely different from any taro milk tea ive ever had but in the best way possible like this tea caressed my taste buds so sensually that I had no control over vacuuming it all down. Boba was soft and the pudding couldve been a bit creamier but was still really nice.

I got jasmine oolong strong with 25% sweetness and boba, so earthy and flavorful! the cashier was very friendly and let me try a little bit of it to see if it tasted how I wanted, which was so thoughtful! A great and affordable spot to get some quality tea 💚

Very yummy drink and food. I got the jasmine and oolong tea with milk. Strongest most flavorful oolong I think I ever had I almost wasn’t ready for it. They let me taste it and add extra sugar to the cup. Tea also travels very well and tasted great when I heated it up at home. Don’t skip on the food ether rice balls where tasty my favorite is the eel it has lots of nice sauce. Thick toast is so so good condensed milk that just soaks into the bread like caramel and coconut on top reminded me of those little coconut caramel candies. Even if there were no drinks I’d come back for thick toast alone. By the way will be back it’s good enough to warrant leaning Staten Island

Came in early on a weekend morning 11.30am and there was no queue, but boba was not ready. Bummer. I had the $7 for 3 onigiri (shrimp, fish tofu and crab meat) and the rice balls were delicious. It’s a one-man-operation so the person behind the counter couldn’t serve others while preparing my onigiri. There is seating to wait and quaint decor to appreciate while waiting though.

This is one of the few bubble tea places that opened before noon. There is plenty of space inside but no chairs to sit down. It is very convenient to order through the information kiosk. The order is prepared quickly. I chose buble matcha tea a very light and refreshing drink. There's also plenty of food and desserts. Check it out it you're in a neighborhood.

The drink was loaded with real mango chunks, jelly pearls (my fav), and grapefruit jelly. ＊Roasted Meringue Coffee Milk Tea 烤蛋白霜咖啡奶茶 $8.25 I opened the lid to scoop up the torched meringue and it was so fluffy☁️ Like a dessert in one sip, slightly caramelized. The combo of coffee and milk tea reminds me of HK style yuan yang (鴛鴦), while the aroma of the tea base is more like the one from taiwanese boba shops. ＊Strawberry Latte w. Panna Cotta 奶酪草莓鮮奶 $8.45 Their no.1 bestselling and my all-time favorite drink. It is on the pricier side but you can find actual strawberry bits in the drink. Definitely on the sweeter side. * The above drinks are fixed sugar and contain dairy.

My favorite drink to get in the city! You never wait too long and all of the food is great here too, not just the drinks. The only downside is that it’s expensive and there’s really no place to sit. 4.5 stars if it were possible. Got the chocolate flavor once and never choose anything else since haha.

Very cute and nice. Got the crème brûlée tea as well as the strawberry bottle. It was good and something unique to have. The tea in the crème brûlée one wasn’t very sweet but it cancelled out due to the topping. Also the strawberry drink was very good, it wasn’t too sweet and too maddeningly tasting like nothing.

Very expensive compared to other bubble tea places. (about $8 a drink, and if you wanna add toppings like bobas). The quality was great and the interior of the store was beautiful, but there was nothing too special about the flavors of the drinks. I would very occasionally come here to buy bubble teas and still prefer other places that are more worth the value. Still worth trying though, and taking photos lol.

From what I heard, this place is famous for Jay Chou(popular Taiwanese singer) being part of it. Very interesting and unique boba tea store, have some very interesting drinks. The cream cheese foam is the most popular one. I tried the fruit tea and brown sugar latte. Fruit tea was not tasty, overwhelmed with green tea. Brown sugar latte was actually good. There are a lot kiosk in front of the store to order. No in person ordering. Drinks get ready pretty fast, so there’s not a long line.

Machi Machi is definitely one of the most popular and trendiest boba tea shops in NYC. It is well-known because Jay Chou, a singer from Taiwan, visited many times and shot his music video at their location in Tokyo. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there was a long line. The wait wasn’t too bad and we moved quickly . The interior decor was artsy, adorable and perfect for taking instaphotos. We had their signature Black Milk Tea with Creme brûlée & boba and Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta. The drink looked so delicate especially the bottle of Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta. It was really tasty and creamy but a bit too sweet for us. However, it was kind of pricey and with a total of $17 for 2 drinks with tax. It’s a great place for bubble tea but we might not be able to visit often.

Ten Ren's Tea is a top destination for quality bubble tea, especially for those who appreciate genuine tea flavor. The tea was absolutely delicious. The sugar level was appropriate, which allowed the true taste of the tea to come through.The service was quick and friendly, making for a pleasant and efficient experience. While the prices were a little high, the overall high quality tea made it worth it.

It is located at the center of Chinatown, which is a must visit area in New York City. I tried a Matcha Latte without the black balls (don’t know the name) and it was perfect. Not too sweet nor bitter. I highly recommend it!!

What a nostalgic taste. I missed the chrysanthemum tea blend and visited this store again. Truly a parlor of Asian teas in every sense. There are tins, tea service and accessories. They also sell ready made tea to go.

This visit I wanted to buy some loose leaf jasmine tea and from what I saw online I knew that the shop had a few different grades in stock besides the jasmine pearl. As soon as I walked in, I got to sample tea brewed with the jasmine pearl leaves (the smell was very fragrant). I only wanted to buy a small quantity to test it out but the saleslady kept on trying to upsell me to buy a whole tin which costs almost $40. She also let me smell the tea leaves before trying to upsell me to buy a whole tin again. After telling her I was only interested in buying a small amount, she went to the front where they keep the giant golden tea tins and scooped out 4oz for me. As soon as I was finished paying, it felt like a transaction and she no longer had any reason to assist me like not even a thank you or anything. A very dismissive attitude simply because I didn't give in buying a whole tin of tea like she suggested. There are plenty of other tea shops in Chinatown so I probably won't be visiting here again. In the front, I ordered their jasmine green tea with no toppings and 50% sugar which was a mistake. This drink definitely needs 100% sugar because at 50% it tasted like jasmine tea with a bit of milk added to it (save your money and go down the street to Molly Tea instead or any other bubble tea chain since there are so many options in Chinatown). Prices on the menu are before tax and toppings cost extra FYI.

Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk.

Some unique tea choices than other typical bubble places. Really liked the traditional and nostalgic feel of the decor. Tasted my companion’s soy milk red bean it was mild in flavor. Did not like the self order machine would not indicate a selected beverage as unavailable until after tapping credit card. The credit card charge went through without transaction completed but refund did get credited in 2 days.

Excellent shop for traditional Taiwanese flavors. You can customize your drink with ice and sugar levels. If you like the flavor of traditional Taiwan tea without sugar, get something like Alishan Oolong. I added taro balls and red bean. Refreshing and a nice ‘dessert’ alternative.

There are two kiosks where you order from. Me always stick to Aiyu Jelly lemon green tea. No sugar no ice. This time I had light ice and the taste goes flat. Staff calls order number at the counter for drinks to pick-up, also gives you loyalty card to collect stamps for award. Bubble is the type that hard to chew and less sweetness, instead of tender one with brown sugar seasoned.

Wanpo is one of our favorite bubble tea places when we were in Taiwan, so we were very excited when they opened up their first location in NYC. They are famous for their high quality tea with various options. The menu is currently limited compared to what they offer in Taiwan but decent enough for us to feel satisfied for homesickness. We got their Red Bean Jelly Milk and Taro Milk. The taste was delicious and close to the one we had before. We highly recommend to have less sugar for both drinks we tried since the red bean & taro were very sweet.

2 stores share one common sitting areas. First, thought the best burger in town was just shop's promo. We tried, it's real. The chicken wings are crispy and delicious. Drinks are interesting and taste good, too. It's a nice place to make quick stop and have a nice quick meal but still entertain taste buds.

Nice place to chill/hang out with bubble drinks and some snacks. They have a variety of drinks, from bubble tea to summer slush drinks. Inside vendor has burgers, snacks (fries, popcorn chicken etc) and more drinks (smoothies, shakes). Ordered some food and they came out quick. Limited space with spacious seatings. The burger portion is big, and can be shared for 2 unless you are a big eater.

It was my first time trying this place. I got the taro and mango bubble teas. The mango was your generic bubble tea. The taro was disgusting. We threw it out after one sip. We couldn’t taste the taro at all and it had a brown color instead of the common purple taro color. I should’ve trusted my gut with this place.

This is far the best bubble tea I ever had. First, people who work there are extremely friendly-big bonus. I got passion fruit jasmine tea. It was just THE BEST!. the passion fruit is freshly squeezed, and the Jasmin tea is topped with passion fruit seeds on top of bobba. Bobba was perfect size , perfect firmness, and just right of sweetness. Can't wait for one of those opening in Maryland!

I usually don’t leave reviews but the awful service at imilky compelled me to. Ordered a Taiwan premium green milk tea and a honey green tea. The Taiwan premium green milk tea was light and refreshing and their boba was chewy and sweet. On the other hand, the honey green tea was unbearably bitter and inedible even with the sugar level being unadjustable and set at 100%. We took about two sips of the awful concoction and asked Vicki (possibly the owner?) if we can get an adjustment or a replacement drink. She said no but she can add more honey. Somehow that made the drink even more disgusting. We asked again if we can get a replacement because it was literally inedible and she said no again. Poor service and cheap management over a $7 drink that costs a few cents to make. Straight into the garbage.

Despite their grand opening being on the chaotic side, I'm happy that they opened a new location here in Chinatown 😀. I've been wanting to try out I'Milky for a while now but havent gotten the chance to visit their other two locations in East village and in Williamsburg 🙃. Also, it's nice that there's a burger shop in the back of the store called Burger by day. I think its convenient to have both drinks and food in one location 👍. . I was recommended their Fresh Coconut Taro Milk with red beans to try their fresh milk line of drinks (since their brand... is based on fresh milk) and then the Jasmine Tea Lemonade with bubbles for a more refreshing drink since it was a very hot day 😋 (both with 50% sugar). They both weren't bad 👍. The fresh milk coconut taro was made with fresh taro puree on the bottom and with their fresh milk on top. It reminded me of this Chinese sweet soup that is made of coconut milk, taro and sago 😂 which I like eating, so I'm not complaining. They also had alternative milk options too like lactaid and oat milk, for those who can't or don't want the fresh milk but still want to try the drink 👍. The jasmine tea lemonade on the other hand was indeed very refreshing, but the only thing about it was that I didn't taste the jasmine tea as much as I thought I would.... still good tho 👌 the lemonade part was there 😅. . Overall, I had a decently nice experience here at this new bubble tea location. I will definitely visit again to try their other drinks and pair it with a different burger from the burger shop in the back. 😋

When I laid eyes ok this I thought it was gonna be gross. But it’s actually good!!! The early grey rice cream with brown sugar milk tea is pretty fire. Great combo. The ice cream itself is really silky and satisfying. It’s just so. Big. They should have a small size, imo. Three of us couldn’t finish it all together. There’s room to stand but no where to sit. Solid spot for soft serve.

Massive boba ice cream. Very sweet. It’s best through the straw vs eating the ice cream on its own. The earl grey ice cream was pretty subtle - slightly too subtle for me.

I hesitate to leave this review because this place is so incredible that I want to keep it all to myself but my conscience demands honesty and honestly wow this place is so, so good. Best dessert and bubble tea place in the city easily, wow wow wow. Everything is so delicious and you get such a good amount for your money. The Earl Grey was disappointing and was just vanilla ice cream in a jar with some cereal sprinkled on it. I'd rather buy a tub from trader joes for 5 bucks than spend 12 dollars here. Cashier seemed like he wanted to die. Went to Trader Joe's to buy toilet paper after buying a jar from here and the toilet paper was so much more amusing than the jar that I forgot I left the jar on the toilet paper rack where it belonged. I gave it two stars because it was next to Trader Joes, if TJ was not there it would be 1 star.

Coco Fresh doesn't allow you to add sugar to your drink on Grubhub. All drinks on their menu via GrubHub require you to have 0% sweetness. Did Coco fresh run out of sugar..? I've moved onto Moge, right across the street, they never run out of sugar.

I ordered the Lava Pearl Taro Milk Tea here. I specifically asked the staff if the pearl was already included, and they said it wasn’t, so I needed to add it. But when I placed the order, it turned out the pearls were already included, and I ended up adding them again unnecessarily. So I told the staff I would place a new order and asked for a refund for the previous one. However, they said they couldn’t refund it. Then, they gave me three extra quarter of refunding the extra charge. But during the preparation process, I saw the staff spit into my milk tea. I witnessed it right there and threw the drink away. I just wasted 10 dollars for no reason. What went wrong here?

Their new drinks [Mango pomelo Smoothie]is very delicious, and the mango seeds are very full... Worth recommending! I ordered 30% sugar! The sugar content is just right, and the customer service is also very good. 👍

I like the convenience of it being next to the 495 highway. We came here because the bakery up the block was not open for Christmas. Placed order at kiosk. Was told by server no grass jelly. Substitute with pudding instead. The white pearls did not deliver the texture I was looking for. Overall, the drink was average and seems ingredients were in shortage.

I grabbed a peach oolong. It was quite flavorful with a strong peach flavor. I think I also tasted flecks of fruit in there. Sadly, the pearls felt a bit hard in the middle like they weren’t cooked properly.

Used to be my favourite, but after this order I am staying away. The logo on the outside changed. Ordered a brown sugar bubble tea and it tasted so water down, in terms of tea, milk and brown suger. Packaging also changed to non branded cover.

Tea was crossed off many of the menu items.. guess they just do brown sugar milk? And the tea itself was ok, a touch like gingery. Bubble were soft but lacked much flavor. Close to k-town.

Small spot in Korea town, we walked right past it at first. Since the menu was pretty small, it didn't take too long to order. I got the Oreo flavored bubble tea, and my mom ordered the taro. The bubbles were the perfect consistency, not too mushy, not too hard. They were also not too sweet (same goes for the actual drink). There was a short line when we first walked over, but it moved quickly and we only waited a few minutes for the drinks to come out. The drinks come out of a tiger mouth, which is an interesting concept. Overall, the drinks were pretty pricey for what we got, but they were good enough to try at least once.

I have to be honest, I had higher expectations because of the lines I would see here sometimes but it fell short. Their drinks are fixed sugar and ice levels and the only non-dairy milk was a powdered milk tea. Now, the non-dairy milk tea option was actually good because it was less sugar than the regular but not amazing. The cup size was kinda small for $6+ and although it was quick, easy ApplePay and nice staff, I wouldn’t go here ahead. Tiger Sugar is two steps down from it and much better in my opinion with great taste and sugar/milk customization.

This is a tiny to go bubble tea store in Herald Square area. There's no place to sit or wait, your order, wait outside and pick up your drink from Tiger's mouth when it's ready. But the store makes good drinks. I liked my brown sugar milk tea, bubbles were fresh and chewy. I was able to change the ice level, but sugar level cannot be changed. This place is not very crowded, so maybe a good alternative, if other boba places are packed.

An interesting idea is selling drinks in egg-shaped containers. While walking down the street, everyone was curious and kept asking where we got them. It's a unique and eye-catching way to enjoy beverages.

We stumbled upon this tea shop while walking around and decided to try something. We ordered the amber honey oolong tea and it was delicious. You can adjust the sweetness level and we got it at the perfect amount: wasn’t over the top sweet but wasn’t bitter or unsweetened. It was perfect. This shop sells their teas for at least $2 more than every other shop around. Ordered the peach and passion tea which was okay at best. The employees are not that friendly, as the one by the register walked away as soon as I walked up. Apparently you can order outside on the kiosk or inside by the tablet on the register. There is no sign depicting that as it is so congested inside with the small space. On the plus side, the store is cute with seating for waiting.

Recommend if you enjoy milk teas for the tea. There’s a good selection of teas that’s more than the typical black, oolong, or green. The mango green tea was refreshing and I liked the texture of the tea jelly. The house special milk tea was also good and had a strong tea flavor.

I normally a regular to the teazzi and always have a good experience but not today. Ordered 2 drinks and took 20 minutes to wait while there’s no one in the store. Then I realized they skipped my order for online order? Sorry teazzi I really love your amber tea drink but I’ll just go somewhere else until your staffs are fully trained.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff treat you with respect and courtesy. They are super nice and the drinks are super good. A little expensive but worth it. If they have any suggestions they will tell you like if it would be very sweet when there is 100% sugar they will tell you the recommended amount.

Yi Fang continues to be a reliable chain for fruit tea (though I'd stay away from their milk tea series, which is rather underwhelming). Tried their peach oolong this time; went for 100% sugar but should have done 70% instead. The peach pieces add a kick of sweetness on top of that. Still very satisfied. This will likely be one of my regular places.

Store is very warm - no A/C? Tough on the staff, I'm sure. They have a huge line of stickers for drinks... so they're behind on making it even with four staffers (one cleaning/making stuff in the back, and two others upfront, and one floater it looked like). The Sun Moon Lake Black Tea - refreshing, cool, and not too sweet. I liked it. The egg pancakes - for each order of 5 only one flavor, and they told me 10-15min for them, so waited.... 31 minutes. Terrible. Also, for whatever reason, they make drinks and put it on the table, but don't have someone consistently checking the order(s) are done and so some orders literally sat complete and people were waiting around and finally got the attention of folks... left some of the customers pretty unhappy. The egg pancakes were ok - custard I felt were better than the taro, but others like the taro more.

This Yifang spot is nicely decorated, modern and comfortable. We had the red bean black glutinous rice latte with milk instead of coconut milk, the longan jujube tea, and the original flavor egg cake. The latte, despite being ordered with minimal sugar, was a bit sweeter than I would like, but still rich and satisfying with a hefty serving of glutinous rice and a porridge-like texture. The Longan tea was soothingly warm, containing actual pieces of Longan, and was mildly sweet. It was somewhat plain, yet pleasantly understated. The egg cake is soft but a bit too sweet. Overall, the experience was comforting, though some flavors could be better balanced.

I have been here a few times to the Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea in Flushing. I had one of my favorite drinks, the Mango Sago drink. Creamy, fresh and delicious. I had an additional drink too, YiFang Fruit Tea. Both drinks requested with less ice snd less sugar. Just as tasty without all the additional ice and sugar. Yi Fang drinks, all use the premium Taiwan Tea leaves and the natural raw cane sugar only. Good drinks deserve good ingredients. All payments accepted, service was good. Until the next time, Yi Fang Fruit Tea.

I recall this spot had a massive line during grand opening. I waited a year and finally tried it today 😅 $8.44 for a 20 oz red bean matcha latte. Something sweet & cold to offset the heat. Nowadays $8 for a drink in Flushing is common. There’s a bubble tea war going on and new locations are sprouting up like mushrooms. Every one is looking to try the latest trend. YI FANG is decent and I believe it has staying power 💪💪

Very nice store. Seating spots available on both sides of ordering window. Menu has a variety of drinks. I got the mango pomelo seasonal special drink. Such amazing taste. Gulped the whole large thing in minutes. Delicious taste of mango mixed with grapefruit pomelo. I was able to adjust sugar to 50% but ice level was fixed. Service is pretty fast. Despite being very busy, they made our drinks within few minutes.

This place has great drinks! They are fast, and super nice. If you are asian, then they can speak chinese for you! I love the passion fruit green tea + bubble pearls, it has the actual fruit in there, so you can make a drink with the fruit afterwards! I’m so mad they closed, and said they would open in a month. No, they opened 2 months later, and they completely RUINED IT. They don’t sell the passion fruit green tea anymore, that’s the only reason I go there. Now, I hate the shop. No hate or anything, just my opinion.. BRING IT BACK! Also, the name.. “Greenwood”? Absolutely HATE IT! Like it doesn’t sound better then Mudflow.. I WANT OLD MUDFLOW!!

Hokkaido milk was good but tastes more like caramel than hokkaido cream. Panda coffee is veryy sweet would recommend less sugar if you get this drink. The mango sago drink was delicious. Boba was not the best I ever had but ok quality.

Good brown sugar milk tea, but the tapioca pearls were too hard for my taste. I would recommend going for less sugar, maybe 70% as regular sugar was very sweet. I think I got the rose cheese foam one a while ago and thought it was pretty good.

Very reasonable pricing for their bubble teas. Most of the drinks are $5 or less unless you get topping. IMO, bubbles should be free at any bubble tea store. But since my bubble milk rose tea came out to be less than $5, and the bubbles were really good, I was fine with it. I suggest to add more rose buds into the tea as the flavoring wasn't strong enough. For the fruit green tea, fruits should be cut into smaller pieces. Not enough tea and too much fruits. Adding kiwi, mango and passion fruit would make it taste extremely better. Measurement for sugar level need to improve. The rose tea was said to be 30% but tasted like 50%. And the 30% fruit green tea tasted more like 0%. Other than those things, it's a solid 4 star. The service was nice. The lady in the front speaks English so you should have no problem ordering. I will be back next time to try the frappe.

Lots of interesting flavors. I went with the Hokkaido milk tea. This was one of the hot drinks, but they were able to make it iced instead. You can pick the sugar and ice level, and there are various 'toppings' you can pick from. BF had the taro milk tea, which had actual chunks of taro in it. It wasn't bad but it was way too sweet. I think they either messed up on the sugar level or maybe that one wasn't customizable? Either way, I don't mind coming back to try some of the other flavors, like the rose milk tea!

Customer service is very friendly and sweet, customer will receive points everytime when you buy drinks. Highly recommend you to go check it out.

I ordered the Yakult pineapple green tea and the mango pomelo sago. The Yakult pineapple green tea didn’t taste like Yakult at all. I’m not sure if they’re cutting back on ingredients, but there was absolutely no Yakult flavor. They also used canned pineapple, which didn’t taste fresh. As for the mango pomelo sago, it barely had any pomelo in it, which was disappointing.

Always have a good experience when I come here, drinks are solid and service is really fast. I would also say that the offerings here are unique to other bubble tea chains while still retaining some classic drinks. The interior is also very comfortable. Just be aware that there is a $10 minimum to pay with card.

The decor of Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea is artsy, simple and bright, similar to its other locations. The staff was friendly and served everything quickly. We had their oolong milk tea with bubble and it wasn’t good at all. The oolong milk tea was okay but the bubble was unpalatable and braised too soft for us. We prefer bubble with chewy texture. We have visited multiple locations in both New York and Taiwan. We would recommend to try their signature fruit tea. If you like milk tea or brown sugar milk, there are better options out there.

Haven’t come a while, have to say really disappointed. I feel like drinking syrup rather than strawberry matcha. 1- no matcha taste at all 2 - bubble as hard as rock It used to be my favorite in Manhattan but sorry, will not waste my $9 for a cup of syrup.

It’s a small cat themed cafe with a pastel palette. I got the iced matcha strawberry drink and enjoyed the matcha flavor but didn’t taste much strawberry flavor. In my picture of the 3 strawberry matcha lattes, the strawberry amount is uneven. The matcha thankfully did not taste powdery. I think it’s an overpriced matcha drink where you have to pay an extra dollar for any of the toppings. The aesthetics of the menu and drinks are eye popping and make you want to try everything though. The worker was nice and even gave us a cat sticker. They also offer a 10% NYU student discount, so take advantage of that! You can also use the kiosk to order which gives you all of the possible add ons and options you have. We opted for oatly oak milk which didn’t have a surcharge for once! I enjoyed my matcha drink and would probably try the rose milk tea or bingsoo next.

Lazy Sundaes has some of the best boba in the city. This place is not super close to us (about a 15 min walk) but worth the trip for us to get their iconic Strawberry Jasmine punch. This stuff is so good. I also love their green plum jasmine tea. If you’re looking for more milky options they have you covered. What I love most about this place is the touchscreen ordering. It allows to you customize everything from the level of sweetness to the amount of boba you’d like if that’s your style.

This place is owned by the same team behind the former Boba Guys at this location. The menu is very similar with a few addition. I tried the iced miscut oolong which was fruity, floral, and refreshing. Many of the beverages are fruity and/or flowery, Korean style. The quality is consistent and the staff always friendly and welcoming. The new seasonal product, Ispahan (Rose tea with raspberry puree and lychee jelly), reformat a classic dessert into a tea beverage. Really impressive. Update (202103): finally got a chance to try bingsoo and was underwhelmed. Too sweet for my palate and the ingredients not delicious either (mochi chewy like rubber bands). The portion is small considering the price, yet I could barely finished it. Not my type of dessert.

I always get a Thai milk tea with boba and cheese foam and it is always delicious. I have redeemed my rewards card almost twice so far. The woman who normally takes my order is very nice and I am always happy to see her in the shop!

Very cute cafe with cute decorations and a lot of cute dessert selections as well. The boba is soft and the tea is really good as well. The cakes are pricy but are very unique in flavor as well. The cake is more mousse cake selections, so it's a nice thicker jelly texture that isn't heavy. It's definatly worth the try!

Surprisingly find out the brand new bubble tea shop is pretty close to my new place. We decided to give it a shot. The fresh taro cake is beyond our expectation, so creative and pork floss inside are amazing. The store is new and clean.It would be perfect if they can have a door mat specially in such messy snowy days.😉

I’ve been coming to Mi Tea for about 2 years now and I just feel it deserves recognition. The owner is super accommodating and friendly. He would recognize us after two visits and knows what we like. The drink and the tapioca is just perfect. I’d recommend you try it too.

After hours of walking the tea was absolutely refreshing! The experience was even better thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Genuinely the best boba spot in the West Village. It’s the only place close to my school and in a students budget, so me and my friends went often. The man behind the counter was so sweet and the tea was amazing, it quickly became one of our favorite spots. I don’t like sweet drinks all that much, but their passion fruit tea is perfect. I think the time Mr. Mi Tea(as me and my friends turned to calling the counter man) remembered that I don’t put ice in my drinks really hammered home just how special Mi Tea is. Best bobba and customer service in the city! This is a hidden gem and I’m glad I discovered it before it becomes more popular (it’s one of the only few places I think deserves a line out the door). On top of that, it’s very reasonably priced for the area it’s in.

Mi Tea is the best Bubble tea place in Manhattan,Ny. Kevin, the owner is such a nice guy, great host, so warm & welcoming. So of course the customer service is outstanding. I love the Orange Squash & my daughter loves the Kiwi lover. It has fresh fruit sliced in your drink. Highly recommend in Nyc.

Great tea, great staff! We had the jasmine green tea with aloe and lychee, it was excellent. The staff even said we should taste it, in case something was off they would make it again! The space is cosy, with a handful of seats only - not surprising in Manhattan. They have lovely decorations, and a sing you have to take a selfie for Instagram. We will come to Mi again.

I have had Moge Tea Uji Matcha Crème Brûlée Milk tea several times in Forest Hills and Sunnyside and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, this one in LIC gave it to me tasting SOUR. I realized as I was walking with it that it might be either the milk was expired or the crème brûlée. I was going to an interview and did not have time to go back so I just threw it out. I thought of asking for a refund or told them but I felt bad since I was already having a hard time asking the employee questions about the menu (we were having a hard time understanding each other) I don’t want to get this employee in trouble or fired. But THIS IS A HEALTH HAZARD! If you’re in the food business, you should make sure not to get people sick from expired stuff. I was so excited as I just moved to LIC and saw it was about 15 min. walk from my house. It was also a very cute and promising looking branch. I really hope this was a one-off mistake and the staff and manager can check all their ingredients for expiry dates (but also just smell the ingredients to see if they’re still good?). I know sometimes milk and cream can expire sooner than its actual date once you open it. Again, if management reads this I don’t want to get the employee in trouble but please for the sake of your customers triple check expiry dates. I would say I want to try again next time but I’m scared now since I have a very sensitive tummy. Thank you.

Ordered a brown sugar milk tea with oat milk as shown in photo through doorshash...that is what they brought me. No milk added at all. It tasted awful and I won't be making that mistake of ordering from them again.

decided to give this a try because they look extremely vacant compared to hey tea, tried to support small business and fight back big capital businesses- and you know what :) 100% know why there are no guest/customer. The size is tiny (I have L size in image), no cup sample to know size different. I was surprised by the size inflation. The drink is ... nothing special Price is nothing to compare with size Never visit again.

If I could give zero stars I would. To keep this review short, the cashier made my drink wrong, proceeds to yell at me for her own mistake, and gaslights me into thinking I can't read. In the end, the best she can do for me is offer me a refund but refused to make me a new drink. If you love this kind of customer service, come here. Bonus: My friend's drink was messed up too.

This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. The store is stylish and pleasantly furnished. The quality of the bubble tea is particularly high, you can taste the fine tea flavors and they don't use too much sugar as standard. Certainly one of the best bubble teas in the area.

Tried the mango fusion. It was good. Liked the fact that the jelly was star shaped but overall the taste of the tea is refreshing but feel you can get better elsewhere. (Literally Chinatown is filled with tea shops) the price is decent but you can def get cheaper elsewhere. If your around the area and want to try go for it other than that not worth it.

Very tasty and large tea for an extremely reasonable price. The Eddie (passion fruit, mango, peach green tea) was delicious and had perfect notes of flavor. Highly recommend, plus the staff is super nice!

Small reasonably priced shop with authentic vibe to it. They have a great variety of boba, deserts, & light meals. My only dismay is that the appetizer orders that include meat, are small portions. I ordered an mozzarella corn dog, it was 70% cheese. The sausage was basically a Vienna sausage. I also had shrimp tempura & rice ball with meat. The food is tasty, but they seem to love to deep fry everything. It was my first time trying boba & the variety was overwhelming since I’m so indecisive but I loved it & will return.

Such a cute little boba shop! Me and my sister had the peach tea with jelly & peach slush with popping bubbles. Both were tasty and refreshing. Their bubble waffles are really good too, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I did think the tuna rice ball was a bit bland, but I got another one with spicy mayo and it was better. I was excited to try this boba place since it has very good reviews. So we went and ordered a green tea with mango jelly and a boba pearl tea with extra caramel. For both of them the tea was incredibly bitter and impossible to drink. The caramel for the boba one didn’t taste much and both of the drinks were warm which wasn’t nice for a hot sunny day. Wouldn’t come back.

Food was amazing and the spot is super cute. I ordered the cookies and cream milk tea with milk foam which made the drink extra sweet and smooth, a burger onigiri which the rice and burger had a lot of flavor, the Kani corn soup which had savory seafood flavor balanced out with the corn puree, and the karage chicken which went well with the sauce provided and wasn't too salty or spicy. Overall the balance here created is amazing in all their food options and the owner and workers really nice. If you are in the area, I highly suggest you drop by.

This is a very cute little hole in the wall place. I brought my girls here for some bubble tea, I only liked the strawberry myself, but my girls loved their drinks, and they got some coconut gel snacks that they loved also And I liked. Moderately priced and good kind service. We will be coming back at least once a week.

My husband's favorite bubble tea brand in Taiwan is 50 LAN which was known as same brand as KOI The oversea so we were so excited they opened up a store in NYC. They served the milk tea dense with the same recipe as 50 LAN and we were super satisfied and touched. Their golden bubble was also cooked well and chewy. However, $7 for 500ml bubble tea was a little pricy even in Manhattan so we might not visited again shortly.

Great bubble tea from a famous chain in Taiwan. It's speciality is the golden tapioca which derived it's color from honey. I had green tea with milk with 25% sweetness which was very refreshing in this beautiful spring day.

Being a fan of Fiftylan after my trip to Taiwan a few years ago, I was excited to come across their store in NYC. The selection is much more limited in their NY locations and the tea was not as strong as I would like. I tried their Yakult green tea and was a bit disappointed.

FiftyLan is a popular and well known boba tea shop from Taiwan. You can customize how much sugar or ice and what kind of tea and what you want in the boba tea. Their golden boba is made with honey so they are different from the regular boba made with brown sugar. There are many flavors to choose from. Went for the traditional green tea milk boba tea at 25% sugar. It tasted so good. Highly recommended

Hokkaido milk cream puff for only $1, and black sesame mochi donut that tastes like 芝麻糊 (black sesame paste)… this tiny store in Chinatown has totally won me over. I’ve tasted a lot of cream puffs around NYC, but Alimama Tea wins for their perfect choux and flavor lineup. Their cream puffs were huge irl, and the custard-to-choux pastry ratio was done right. ＊Cream Puff $4.50 - 5.50 I couldn’t stop munching on the yuzu one, so tart and refreshing with a yuzu curd filling. The boba flavor was not too sweet and packed with mini boba. Matcha was the winner (as always). ＊Mochi Donut $4.50 - 5.50 The roasted black sesame glaze was rich, nutty, and pleasantly grainy. It reminded me of chinese black sesame paste dessert which I loved. What surprised me most was the strawberry flavor. It didn’t taste artificial at all, unlike the ones I’ve had at other donut spots. The brulee donut was coated in a caramelized sugar glaze that left a gold shimmer on my lips. Their mochi donuts had a dense yet chewy texture. ＊Hokkaido Custard Mini Cream Puff $1 each (min. 6 pcs) Despite their small size, they didn’t skimp on the filling! Each one was packed with luscious, creamy custard made from Hokkaido milk, all wrapped in a crispy shell. ＊Lychee Rose $7 While I had higher expectations for their sweets, this lychee rose drink actually blew me away! I didn’t even ask for less sugar, but the sweetness level was just right. It was made with lychee purée, coconut water, rose, and topped with real lychee. The boba scene is competitive in Chinatown, but I’d come back just for this drink.

This place is a super cute ٩(^‿^)۶ spot with delicious and crispy cream puffs and chewy mochi donuts! We were looking for a break from the muggy weather outside and the drinks were a perfect pick-me-up. We got the Vietnamese cold brew, royal milk tea, and reserve milk tea (limited time). We also got the milk tea cream puff and onyx mochi donut, which had dark chocolate cream. They were both delicious and the flavors were not too sweet. Service was fast even when there were a lot of customers.

Our food tour guide took us here and we tried the donut bites, which were delicious. The mochi ingredient definitely gives them a unique taste and may not be to everybody’s liking, but we enjoyed them very much.

Terrible donuts. I don’t recommend to eat this. I over pay and the quality of the donuts decrease. Even Dunkin Donute taste better. Brought two donuts and expect to be chewy and soft. But end up chewing hard, and dry. Don’t waste your hope like I did. We share with others and they couldn’t chew it at all.

Ordered the rice rolls (one shrimp and one tofu) and a vermicelli salad. All were very disappointing. The rolls were advertised to have cucumbers and fresh herbs / veggies— they came with just vermicelli and one sad piece of lettuce. The salad was not much better.

My friends really liked their food. BUT VEG PEEPS beware, their broth isn’t vegetarian it’s beef broth only. Had to cancel my part of the order:( **thank you for response I hope you do. But you really should remove it saying vegetarian, that's not vegetarian and can make people sick..

Disappointing. I’m Vietnamese so I was really excited when I moved to the neighborhood, but was really unsatisfied. The tofu spring rolls is 90% mushy noodles with only lettuce, no carrot or cucumber like it traditionally should. The chicken tofu banh mi was okay, but my partner liked it.

Best banh mi around. Great bread, properly stuffed with pickled carrots n the fillings. Plus the mayo… yum. Pretty orange colored shop too. Rare no frills place in these parts with a straight forward meal promised anytime I’m round this side of the park

I went there yesterday after a very bad day and Banhmigos food gave me a boost I really needed. Grilled pork banh mi was the best I had in NYC yet. Moist, veggies were plenty of sour, salty and sweet, crunchy bread and just the right amount of cilantro. The staff was friendly, pretty quick and very calm overall. I loved the atmosphere. As soon as all the orders were done they went ahead to chill and played card games! Highly recommend. I’ll be back to try some other things they have on the menu. The only minus is that there is no bathroom. I’m 5months pregnant, so it was quite tricky to find a toilet nearby.

Great dessert spot somewhat tucked away with nice seating and a very high end feel for a dessert place. Ordered some of their combo desserts, some had mango, sago, and frozen durian. Durian dessert bowl, mango and black rice, and coconut mango juice sago and pomelo. All very delicious, I don’t think you can go wrong with any variations of these desserts. Very enjoyable space to dine in.

If you love mangoes, this place is an absolute paradise! 🥭One of my favorite Chinese dessert spots in NYC, and everything on the menu celebrates mango in the most delicious ways, from mango ice cream, mango soggos, mango crisps, mango sticky rice, to a variety of other mango-inspired desserts. I also tried their mooncake gift box this year and it was SO good. Each flavor was so unique and creative: taro & egg custard, mango & yuzu, coconut & pistachio, and they’re served like frozen desserts, which makes them extra refreshing and special. Whether you’re a mango lover or just a fan of Asian-style desserts, this spot is a must-try gem in the city. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

It's been a while since I've visited, especially since the renovation! I still clearly recall a super hot summer day, right after my elementary school graduation, when I went there and it was just so wonderfully cooling. I'll definitely be making a trip back in the future ^ ^

You may need to wait for a table. Mango sticky rice is a huge portion, easily shareable for two. Mango is very fresh; sticky rice not too sweet. Toasted coconut adds extra element of flavor to the whole dish.

The service is always good and I love eating most of the desserts from mango mango. This is by far one of the cheapest places for desserts. If you have friends who are craving for something sweet, mango mango is your go to spot :D 10/10 would be coming back here to eat <3

My friend and I stopped by this dessert spot a few days ago and now I’m obsessed! This might just be the cutest dessert shop I’ve ever been to, and the menu? Absolute perfection. We ordered the Crème Brûlée Crepe Cake and the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago with Lychee Jelly & Mango Ice Cream and wow. Every bite was dreamy. The ice cream was super refreshing, especially in this summer heat, and the crepe cake was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. Can’t wait to go back and try even more from their menu! No seating, but a few table tops as you wait. Hot fresh brown sugar boba was great. The chrysanthemum tea, though, was a bit tough - chrysanthemum flowers in the tea probably added flavor, but were not good to eat at all. Made it a bit bitter, actually, and even with the jelly hard to eat. Pass on that one next time. Out of a number of drinks.

Nice bubble tea spot! The place is relatively spacious, though seating is limited. The menu focuses on creative bubble flavors. I tried the matcha strawberry with strawberry bubbles—unique, but I actually preferred the classic bubbles, which tasted much fresher. Worth a visit if you’re into bubble teas. As a bonus you can see a huge pot with boba through the glass which was fun 🤩

A good Taiwanese boba tea chain specializing in brown sugar. A copper caldron of brown sugar is always brewing near the entrance, wafting welcoming caramel smell the those who enter. The final product is sweet, but need some shaking and mixing to get the brown sugar unstuck from the bottom and sides. Lines are more reasonable now they've opened a few years.

Xing Fu Tang has the best boba in all of NYC! The brown sugar Boba Milk is extremely good and has good portions for the price (considering the fact its New York City). It typically does get a little crowded in the evenings, but the lines are very quick and you aren't kept waiting for more than 10 minutes. The place itself is very clean and a lot of things to look at. Definitely suggest checking out this place if you are a tourist.

BANH MI, PHO, BUBBLE TEA🧋 Good fix in the neighborhood for these things. The pho is decent and honestly a little hit or miss depending on the time of day and season of the year you get it. At best it’s ok and at worst it’s not worth getting but on this particular day they gave a good amount of meat so that was good. The banh mi is good and I do like the ground meat in the classic style even though that’s not really authentic but it’s a nice twist. The bubble tea is actually the best thing here. What Hancos does well is that it has the variety of all of those things plus also Summer Rolls. Expect the expensive Park Slope price. Highly Recommended for that fix ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wish there was an option for zero or no star instead of one star because the service is absolutely awful and the food quality is even worse. The food are half cooked and I have mentioned that I have a dietary restriction and also ridiculous restriction of pork. I do not eat pork and they add pork in my food. The food was half cooked and smelly and I absolutely hate it. I would not recommend to anyone. Please do not go to this place and waste your money. These people don’t offer good food.

Big fan of their original milk bubble tea, there aren’t a whole lot of boba options around, but this place has been my go to. It tastes like Hong Kong style milk tea and the tapioca is the perfect texture with a good ratio/amount. Would also recommend summer rolls.

Their new storefront a couple units down from the old one is bright and beautiful! Picking up an order from grubhub was easy. Delicious milk tea and Vietnamese banh mi, even though they don't call it that for some reason. My only complaint with the sandwich is that the veggies are mostly on one side and the meat is mostly on the other so it's hard to get a well distributed bite with all the ingredients. Super minor detail though. I'll be back soon for more!

Heard this was a good spot for a good ol’ bahn mi. I’m not Viet, so no pitchforks please - but I’ve had my fair share of bm’s. I ordered the classic bahn mi - spicy. Fast service - maybe 5 min or less. The place was packed and busy. Pricing? Feels a bit of a reach - considering size and filling amount, but i understand the area. Whatever. I’m not really a fan of the use of ground meat vs (what i’m used to) solid slices parsed throughout. While I think it allows for a more even distribution of meat per bite, i feel like it lacked some flavor and the sauce had to do a lot of carrying on that end. Also, “spicy” is a generous classification - it’s very mild at best. Overall - food was still filling, I’m not sure - i’d be willing to cough up another $12.50 for this quality sandwich. Will be looking elsewhere for my bahn mi needs!

Great store with very competitive pricing, the friendliest staff, a clean, well maintained play area, and a decent selection of games. I play Modern here every Thursday and this store is by far my favorite place to play Magic: The Gathering. The tourney organizer, Jonathon Li is friendly, helpful, considerate, and really cares about the people playing Magic here. He will wait to start if someone is running late, will work with the players to figure out proper judge calls, and even lend you cards or a whole deck. The store itself is very well lit, maintained, and most importantly clean. We all know board and card game enthusiasts can be on the smelly/ less hygienic side, but this store is thankfully better maintained. The bathroom is spacious and cleaned regularly with some cool artwork. The staff is friendly and helpful. They've always been nice to customers from what I see, and will regularly bring your order to your table if you're busy playing a game. All in all I couldn't recommend a better place to play board games or Magic: The Gathering.

This is the best spot to come to with friends! Especially if you’re bored or can’t figure out what to do. It’s $10-$12 dollars a person for 3 hours to play board games! It is so fun, sometimes we pay for another 3 hours. The food is pretty good, but a little pricey. That’s okay though because they even allow you to bring outside food and drinks. I come here a lot and must say, I’ve never had a problem and always have so much fun! Only thing I would say is some of the games have missing instructions or missing pieces which is unfortunate. Still super fun though!

By the 4th and 5th day we were looking for something we could do that was more chill but fun and this cafe was perfect for us! They had our favorite game (it's a wonderful world) and so many more options than i would have ever expected. you can order food and drinks right from the table and the staff was super kind. If i rememeber correctly its only like 12$ per person for 3 hours?! amazing deal whatever it was and I would absolutely visit more if i lived in the city.

sip and play is truly a pillar of the park slope community. The food is great and they always have a wide selection of games to make your time worthwhile. The drinks are delicious and they tend to have seasonal beverages! Gameplay is $10 for 3 hours which is cheaper than other board game cafes I’ve visited. Great for children and adults alike - have and will be a repeat customer.

We are only rating on the experience because we did not arrive in time to eat. The kitchen was closed for the night. We still had such a good night. The variety of games was amazing. We played games we had never played before. We stayed for 2-3 hours. We would definitely love to visit our next vacation again to try the food. It was worth the 20-minute commute!

Excellent spot. Super friendly hosts and they have plenty of games like monopoly, settlers of Catan, gigantic UNO, cards against humanity, codename, battleships, and so much more. They also have coffee and tea drinks. No decaf unfortunately. But best past is they are open late until midnight/12a.

My go-to local bubble tea shop that I bring all my friends and family to. The drinks here are extremely refreshing and flavorful, especially the Thai Iced Bubble Tea. Cindy is very welcoming and incredibly kind, and I look forward to interacting with her every time I come here.

Came in here randomly and got myself a Pineapple Yogurt Fruit tea. The drink was amazing!! The lady at the counter was a joy to interact, especially for small talk and questions about the drinks. I haven’t been in Chinatown for a while, so this was a welcome surprise back! Highly recommended!

Ordered Black Sesame boba milk tea. Was made very quickly. However, the drink was extremely watered down and tasted very bad, even after mixing thoroughly. I went back to let the lady know that it tasted really watered. She immediately asked what could she do to make it better, suggesting adding milk and/or sugar. She took my drink and added more milk to it, telling me to try it again to make sure it tasted better. I can say it did taste better after adding milk to it, but it was still not a good Black Sesame milk tea honestly. While the drink was not very good, the customer service was above and beyond. The lady who served me was one of the nicest people I ever met and had a smile the entire time. I really appreciate the effort she put in to make sure I enjoyed my drink.

It was a nice Bobba, huge, got tired drinking it, but was delicious, took dragon fruit one. Staff is nice, place is pleasant.

This has been one of my favorite spots for years. There are a lot of other bubble tea shops in the area but no one does their yakult with crystal bubble teas like them. Their other fruit teas are also delicious. Always made absolutely fresh and the staff are super kind. It's definitely worth stopping in to check out!

Ms Du's is my favorite boba shop in NYC!! Always the perfect amount of sweetness. Plus, the customer service is great, and the whole place feels extremely personable. Don't skip on the Mango Pomelo Sago with the Bubbles! IWMSC

I haven't been back to kung fu tea for a few years and tonight I went back to try the honey black tea. I went there at 8pm right before they closed and the black tea tasted weird and not fresh. The whole drink tasted like worse than the iced tea from the soda can. Please fix this otherwise you will lose a lot of customers.

On a whim, I decided to treat my kid to some bubble tea. I haven't really gone to Kung Fu Tea in a long while but decided sure, we'll try this one. I don't know what was going on, It was early March but I remember they had the heat on full blast in there like a sauna. The drinks were ok I guess but I'm assuming due to the temperature difference in the store, the drink did end up feeling a bit warm. It was a mango slush so ultimately felt like mango juice.

Kyuramen blew me away! The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — especially the broth, which was absolutely delicious. The presentation was also on point. I tried the tonkotsu ramen and the pork was super tender and juicy. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy and stylish, with those cool semi-private booths that make the experience feel unique. The staff was super friendly and attentive, even during busy hours. I’ll definitely be coming back — 10/10 recommend if you’re a ramen lover or just want to try something new!

It's my favorite Kung Fu Tea location, I always use the app to order in advance and take advantage of offers and promotions. The times I go it is always full of customers xd especially now in these hot months. Sometimes they get my order wrong but I have no problem with it because it's drinkable. I honestly wish there were more zero-sugar options because most juices or slushs have at least 70% sugar. The place is very small when there are many people it is difficult to move :( I've also been to the Kung Fu Tea on 8th Avenue in Brooklyn and they have a more extensive menu. They even sell fried chicken 😳

I know there are Kung Fu Tea places around the country but there is something special about going to Kung Fu Tea in Chinatown in New York City. The place was super tiny and there was about eight people in this tiny place. It is an awesome place to pick up a matcha tea but next time, we’re going to try out a local boba tea place.

I got the coconut mango sago and it was soooo good. I got normal sweetness and normally it would be too sweet but it was perfect. I also get this drink at a lot of places but this was definitely the best I’ve ever had.

Had a random craving at 10:30am and passed by so wanted to check it out. Was afraid that it would be overly sweet and I would feel super guilty for getting this instead of a proper breakfast, especially after the lady told me that i could not adjust the sugar level - which now i think about it... typically means they don't add extra sugar 😀 The Mango Coconut Sago blew me away. It was so gentle on my palate, yet you can taste the beautiful combination of coconut and actual mango chunks. The sago was not mushy at all, which created that nice little surprises in every sip. I would give more stars if I can. This drink made me feel great and light afterwards, while satisfying my early morning sweet-tooth. Marking and saving here!!!!!!

Read the reviews to this place so headed over. Got the traditional black milk tea with boba at 50% sweet. It was delicious and the boba was the perfect consistency and sweetness. Just like the other reviews said, the tea had great flavor and the drink was not too heavy and sweet. I didn’t realize how small the place is - it’s basically a stall with a counter that you order at and there’s barely any standing room to wait for your drink. Highly recommend!

I am a big fan of the peach oolong tea and the staff is super nice and helped me understand the menu. The bubble tea is great here they use real tea leaves not the fake powdered , KAI IS THE MAN!

Stopped by here on a long walk south and was pleasantly surprised to find this boba gem in Tribeca of all places. Why do rich people get all the nice places? The Kumquat Green Tea with boba was well-steeped and pleasantly bright, with perfectlt cooked, perfectly kiu kiu boba. The Honey Oolong with aiyu jelly had a pleasant touch of sweetness and plenty of flavorful gelatin to keep any mouth happy.

Highly disappointed in my first experience here. The strawberry matcha latte is hard to drink as it’s 95% chunky strawberry puree, completely unblended and you can barely taste the matcha. Tried to switch it out for a regular matcha latte as I just paid and took two sips and the two girls in the counter couldn’t provide any assistance or basic level of customer service. Please do better in terms of customer service

Solid boba tea spot. Was super tired from walking all day. I saw staton island and the tallest building in nyc. Really amazing stuff. The boba was good. I was a little rushed to order because I entered, no one, and then I was browsing the menu and all of a sudden a million people were behind me. So I felt rushed and just ordered the most popular drink. It was solid. Maybe not the best boba tea I have had but overall good and flavorful. The boba balls were good. Chewy and not sticky which I like. The yea itself was good and overall. Thought it was great.

MooMooChaa is charming. A small space with limited seating, but filled with decorations and calm music. There is a board filled with post-it notes filled with art. It is a nice, relaxing place to enjoy some tea. I got the brown sugar oolong milk tea. Beautiful presentation for a plastic container. They were out of large bubbles so I got small bubbles. The taste of the milk tea was fine, what one expects from a milk tea. However, it seemed a bit lacking - perhaps for its price which is a bit higher than other places for I have been for the same size.

MooMooCha (it was PA Tea before) is 5mins walk from union sq station. It’s a small tea shop with a bar table and 2 tall stools inside. The menu is consisted of milk tea, fruit tea, latte and options of toppings. I ordered assam tea with large boba no ice and no sugar. The staff blended the ice with the tea to make it cold but no ice. Unfortunately I didn’t like the blended tea. It made the tea tastes differently. I couldn’t really taste the Assam tea.

Tiny spot, but stellar bubble milk tea! I got the taro milk medium w 30% sugar and it was delicious. Perfect boba-- chewy but not "hard". Tea was sweet but not cloying. With boba the medium (16oz) was 7.02% including. Tax I've been here before but this time that drink was even better and the front cashier was very sweet. Again, very small space, maybe 3 stools, and there are 2 steps to go in. Not Accessible, but the sign outside says they are happy to assist all. Cheerful interior.

This place was nice to stop by and get a quick boba fix, and I did not expect the stubby size to be so big. 😭 I got the taro milk tea with 50% sugar, and it didn't disappoint. Could definitely come back, especially because the person who took my order was so sweet and gave me a post-it for the moo moo message wall.

I ordered the Rose Tea Latte on oat milk, my husband ordered the Matcha Green Tea on oat milk. Worst boba I've ever had. Mine was watery and weirdly strong, even bitter. His was grainy and this dark seaweed green color. Really really terrible.

Cute place, great bubble tea, vegan options available (see below)! Recommended! It's a cute little place, with very attentive employees and reaaaally good bubble tea! You can choose the amount of sugar and ice (see pictures) 🎉 Prices are reasonable. Some people have suggested to share the large (26 oz) option between 2 people.... if you like Bubble Tea, just get 2×24oz instead. The 26oz option is large for one person, but not really enough for 2 people in my opinion ;) Note: They have plant-based milk options for the Tea Lattes, but NOT for the Milk Teas. After asking, one employee told me the milk teas are non-dairy, but afterwards specified that he called it non-dairy because they use milk powder instead of liquid milk (so these are not vegan).
