The Commodore is a low-key saloon that offers Southern dishes like fried chicken and biscuits. The place has a vintage feel with 1980s television playing in the corner, hipster grime on the floors, and cheap beer. It's popular among twentysomethings who pack into the low-slung booths early in the evening. The bar's high leather chairs are perfect for enjoying amaretto-topped Pina Coladas and indulging in plates of fried chicken.
Came in on a Sunday night, place was full and lively. Bartender Wes, couldn’t have been nicer and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We were just visiting for a possible move to the area. Place has a “cheers” vibe where everyone knows each other. Cocktails are top quality to where you would pay $25 for half the price.

I went late one Sunday night and not only were they open but the kitchen was too! (I believe the kitchen closes at 1am but make sure first). I ordered a Planters punch which tastes like hurricanes from Louisiana; plus a hot fish sandwich with small fries. The fish piece was big in size and fresh off the stove, you can still see the steam. Not spicy for me but others at the table agreed it was a slow heat. Thankfully there was hot sauce for me to use. The small fries are seasoned well with a mix of crunchy bits and a decent size to share between two people. The customer service was cordial and friendly.

I just don’t understand. Like how or why is it possible that this place has the most incredible chicken sandwich Ive ever tried in my life. Cheese sauce is heaven’s magma . I started at the fish tank during all my sandwich consumption. Very interesting and fantastic experience. I hope that whoever is reading this review enjoys this place as much as i did.

Came here in the afternoon just as the kitchen was closing. Debated for a bit and ultimately decided to stay because I’ll not be denied of my chicken sandwich lol. Started off with the Orange Julio, as if it’s the grownup Orange Julius. Two sips in and immediate brain freeze. The vibe is a bit chaotic but the bartenders did a great job making sure everyone is well-hydrated with drinks. Shortly before 5pm, my bartender gave me the food menu as if she could read my mind. I got the mild breast sandwich and a small side of fries. The sandwich came out piping hot and prolly the juiciest chicken breast I’ve ever eaten. Could it be a wet brine process..? However, the chicken was a tad too salty for my taste. Still, I inhaled the sandwich. The fries were okay..? Nothing special but an adequate companion to my sandwich. All in all, I was a very happy camper. I love the Commodore and I’ll be back for sure!

Stumbled on this gem while wandering the city on vacation. Southern food done right. The biscuit and fried chicken were soul-hugging, artery-questioning delicious. Cold beer on tap, old-school vibe that’s more charm than cheesy, and service that makes you feel like home. Shoutout to the curly-haired waitress who understood me and radiated warmth like she came from the South herself. 10/10 would get fried and fed again. 🍗💕
Prashanth V — Google review
The fried chicken and a biscuit were fantastic! Definitely planning on coming back in for that! Atmosphere was pretty solid, it got really busy in the couple of hours we were there. A little frat boy/ broh'y.
Mike M — Google review
The people were nice and the biscuits with honey were amazing. Bartender was nice too. The only problem is that I came to try their fried chicken and it was too much batter. I will leave a picture if everything that was batter. It was kind of ridiculous. If they could make that chicken with 1/5 of the batter I think it would be much better. It has an alright taste but it just kept breaking and making a mess everywhere. I kind of want to go again but I also don’t want to be disappointed again.

Pies 'n' Thighs is a casual and diverse diner known for its crispy, juicy deep-fried chicken made from organic or humanely-raised ingredients. The menu also features delectable homemade pies with unique crusts, along with other Southern comfort foods like fried catfish, spicy mac and cheese, and award-winning buttermilk biscuits. The restaurant is run by three innovative women who previously worked together at Diner.
Went here with a friend for dinner and it was a great experience overall. Food: I forgot to take photos (of the mains) but I had the chicken and waffles and it was so good! The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned to the tee. The waffles were soft but very flavorful as well. My friend and I split an old fashioned donut and the banana pie as well with extra cream! Make sure to ask for extra cream it really makes the desserts worth it! Service: Quick and fast! The staff always asked us if everything was good and if we needed anything extra. Atmosphere: Such a quiant little shop in Williamsburg! Gives a shop around the corner vies for sure. Would def come back!

Come for the chicken stay for the pie. I got the chicken and waffles, it's bone in chicken very crispy taste great. The waffles are soft and come with some cinnamon butter and blueberries. I had never had c&w with blueberries but it adds such a nice flavor. I also got a slice of apple pie warmed up with ice cream. The apple pie is fresh and full of flavor, just the right amount of food not huge plates or huge slice. The rest of their pastries and menu look just as good, will be back and trying the biscuits.

Pies’n’Thighs is one of the best spots in Williamsburg for southern comfort food, handmade pastries and local craft beer. Their cinnamon roll is incredible - chefs kiss! It’s soft, buttery, you can tell they’re fresh from that morning - think Cinnabon but better. I’m always down for a sweet treat and everything here hits - the pies, the pecan crunch donut, ugh everything is just so good when it’s made from scratch and so much care. The Hippie Banjo for brunch (hello Sprouts!) and the Fried Catfish Plate are my other favorites. I love their sandwich bread (pro tip I think you can buy it) and the tarter sauce for that catfish is perfection. They also carry really good local craft beer from other half, evil twin and Grimm, which makes dinner and weekend brunch even better. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable- they know exactly what to recommend- the GM even told Me about their new ice cream shop, Heap’s Ice Cream ,where they use Pies’n’Thighs pastries for ice cream sandwiches (like what, def going next time) Last week I tried the chicken tenders (I think they’re only in house) and they were juicy, crunchy and full of flavor. The sauces were great too but I’m a Ranch girl through and through. The food and drinks give an elevated vibe at night, but it’s also the perfect cozy bakery to stop for coffee and pastries on the way to work. I highly recommend Pies’n’Thighs - good food, good vibes and the nicest staff.

Omg!! I was from out of town and saw this restaurant on yelp. It was within walking distance of my hotel. It’s cute. And everyone is super nice. I recommend the chick and waffles so tasty. And it was a lot of food. I want to come back and try the catfish and sour cherry and peach pie.

Been many times though last time was years ago. Ordered online for pickup. At first I was impressed that the price hasn't changed all that much. But then I opened up the order. What a joke. While it was tasty, id be shocked if the chicken part was more than 2oz. To give you a sense of the size, its a very thin cutlet a little bigger than your standard ketchup packet. 5 stars is for the memory of what was, and 3 stars for what is. So 4 is in the middle.

My Fried Pickles were Everything!!! Ordered Catfish with grits & eggs (scramble soft) this was absolute perfection with some hot mint tea 2nd order was The Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes & a side of Mac-n-Cheese which was amazing also The highlight was the biscuit with the honey butter(so delightful) Left with 3 slices of perfect pie (apple, pumpkin, & bourbon pecan) Will be back soon!

The vegetarian biscuit sandwich was SENSATIONAL. So buttery and delicious. The lemonade was a bit too sour for me, but the food was amazing

Fast food restaurant
Rowdy Rooster in the East Village brings the vibrant flavors of Indian fried chicken to New York City. The menu features a variety of dishes, from the Big Rowdy Chicken Sandwich to street cart favorites like Chili Chicken. Chef Chintan Pandya and Restaurateur Roni Mazumdar infuse bold Indian spices into their creations, offering a unique twist on fast food. Despite its small seating area, the restaurant is known for its clean kitchen and friendly service.
Overall rating: 4.9 Absolutely underrated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Indian x fried chicken?! C’mon. I went small and only got a lil rowdy sandwich & mango lassi. The Lassi was delightful and I will be coming back just for that. The sandwich was soo and I’m very excited to go back and try other items.
Olivia N — Google review
I was on a East Village food walk when I stumbled upon this small but quirky little Indian fried chicken place. The menu is limited, which I prefer. I opted for a dark meat big rowdy burger with saucy roasted garlic fried chicken and mago lassi. The burger came with chicken, yogurt sace, mint coriander sauce, pickled onions and a very tender yet crispy and saucy piece of chicken. It was MELT IN MOUTH type of a burger. Trust me when I say it was the juciest burger I've ever tried. 10/10. Mango lassi was good too. The place is meant for takeout but has around 8 seats for dine in. Will definitely visit again.
Siddhi D — Google review
Simple hole in the wall Indian burger and tenders joint that dishes out good Indian style spicy burgers and tenders at a decent price. The masala fries, Mango lassi and thumbs up are an added bonus definitely worth getting :)
Abhay M — Google review
Awesome! Ordered the Big Rowdy with potato bun and fries. Mango lassi on the side coz I knew the spice will kill me but worth it. The green chutney was the real hero in the burger. Word of caution : please please be specific about the spice level and don’t try to be a hero. Being a brown I opted for medium spicy and my ego got busted. Lassi is always a good idea to kill the spice. The only thing I didn’t prefer was the music being played in the outlet. Was way too loud. It should have been more Indian music since the place promotes heavily Indian food.
Gautam C — Google review
Ordered the famous Vada pav and veggie rooster! Not spicy yet Very flavorful. A must try!
Sowmya B — Google review
Rowdy Rooster in New York is a delightful spot for anyone craving juicy fried chicken with a unique blend of Indian flavors. Despite being a small place, it's packed with incredible tastes that make a visit more than worthwhile. We sampled a variety of options from their menu, and each dish was a standout. The Indian spices and seasonings elevated the classic fried chicken to a whole new level, making for an unforgettable meal. Overall, I'd rate our experience a solid 9/10. If you're in the mood for something flavorful and satisfying, Rowdy Rooster is definitely the place to go. In summary, Rowdy Rooster delivers a fantastic dining experience that is both unique and memorable. With its outstanding fusion of Indian flavors and classic fried chicken, this spot is a must-visit for food lovers. I’d give it a strong 9/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something truly special.
Sameer S — Google review
We visit Rowdy Rooster often when we are in the city, primarily for their amazing chicken sandwich. It’s super flavorful, the chicken is crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside. It’s like a perfect blend of Indian flavors in a classic chicken sandwich. The seating space is limited so we often decide to opt for take out but the food is so good that it really doesn’t matter. They have different spice levels so be careful about that. I always get level 2 which feels just like the right amount of spicy to me as I do not have high spice tolerance. If you’re sensitive to heat, you might want to be careful about going higher. We’re planning to try their boneless chicken for our next visit. All in all, a must visit place if you’re in NYC and craving a crispy and flavorful chicken sandwich.
Ashima M — Google review
Loved the food, definitely the best Indian spiced burger that I’ve eaten till date in states. The flavors were on point. Just a small warning to start with spice level 3 and then go up. We first tried the level 5 which was too extreme even for us and then got a level 3 and level 4.

Restaurant
Charles Pan-Fried Chicken is a renowned soul-food spot in Harlem, with additional locations around the city. The flagship restaurant on 145th Street features old-school skillet-fried chicken that can be enjoyed all-you-can-eat or with various sides. The chicken is cooked in large cast-iron skillets, resulting in a salty, juicy, and ultra-crunchy texture. The outdoor seating at the location provides a great atmosphere for weekend hangouts.
This was my first time visiting Charles Pan Fried Chicken, and I hope it won't be the last. My coworker and I drove 10 miles to get the restaurant and it was well worth the trip. We were immediately greeted by the workers Freedom and Raven , who were very friendly and helpful. Because it was my first time I wasn't sure what I should try; they both helped make the selection process much easier. Freedom had great interpersonal skill , he had a good sense of humor and was very easy to talk to. Raven was very sweet an and polite she allowed me to try a small serving of the beverage before I made a decision which was great. The food was very good; tasted like a home cooked meal. I drove back before I could try it and even though it wasn't as hot it was still very good. I would definitely recommend you come try this restaurant if you are in the mood for some soul food! Thanks again Freedom and Raven!
Keke R — Google review
Charles Pan-Fried Chicken on the Upper West Side instantly transported me back to the soul food spots I loved in Atlanta. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, with that signature pan-fried crunch that’s hard to find anywhere outside the South. The sides were absolutely spot-on — creamy mac n cheese, sweet candied yams, and perfectly cooked collard greens that tasted like they came straight from someone’s Sunday dinner table. The sweet tea was solid — not quite Georgia sweet, but close enough to pair well with the meal. What really stood out was the hospitality. The service was out of this world — warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can tell it’s family-operated, and it feels like they’ve invited you into their home for a meal. If you’re craving real-deal soul food in New York, this is it. Charles’ place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be back.
Apaar B — Google review
Chicken was flavourful but ribs a bit dry. Mac and cheese stuck together and collard greens underseasoned. Not what I was expecting after hearing so much about this place. Perhaps it would be better to dine in and eat it fresh.
Ong S — Google review
Just amazing how good the ribs are there. The chicken wings are amazing to. Chicken breast was a bit dry but still really good flavours in there. The girl working there was really friendly and helpful to. And there mac and cheese was great and I loved there coleslaw.
Anders E — Google review
I've been looking for a meat and three in NYC and I heard about this place. I got fried chicken (leg and thigh) with mac-n-cheese and collards. It came with cornbread too. The chicken was good. Reminded me of a better version of old school KFC. It was moist and tender and well seasoned. The mac was the baked kind I was looking for. I've seen some reviews saying it's dry but if you know Southern baked mac you know that it's not super saucy and this mac is the type I was looking for. The greens were also well seasoned and cooked well. I ordered the $10 chicken plate which came with two pieces of either dark or white meat, one side, and the cornbread. The additional side was $6. The cornbread is the sweet kind and had a cake/muffin type texture. If you've been looking for a meat and three I would check this place out. The $10 plate is a good option for a good lunch if you're in the area.
Jonathan K — Google review
I went 3 hours before closing and they were out of Mac & cheese and. Mashed potatoes. The chicken was good. The fry was good and it was juicy. It was lacking seasoning in my opinion. I don’t think I would go again. The yams were good. The cornbread was mid, could have used some honey butter. I wasn’t offered any condiments I had to ask for hot sauce.
Jon J — Google review
$10 deal with chicken, corn bread and a side really can’t be beat. Stephanie was absolutely phenomenal setting the standard for hospitality and giving a rec for my personal favorite the strawberry cheesecake. Will definitely be back.
Yaroslav S — Google review
I purchased 2 dinners 1 Cat Fish with macaroni & Cheese with Sweet Potatoes. The Cat fish was barely seasoned. The 2nd dinner was Ribs, String beans. I ordered Macaroni & Cheese but it was never put in my bag. The Ribs were a week old & burnt, hard & dry. I wouldn’t feed that Rib to my dog. It should’ve been put in the garbage instead of in a container to a paying customer. I spent $47.00 a total waste of my hard earned money! I called in and spoke to the manager who asked me to text the picture. I did & was told to return for a free dinner. I did & all I can do is shake my head. This isn’t Soul Food at all! The food isn’t properly & thoroughly seasoned! The menu is limited! I will never step foot back in there I make better food at home!!

If you love fried chicken, then you'll definitely want to check out Bobwhite Counter in Alphabet City. Here, they do things a bit differently than most places – their chicken is brined overnight in sweet tea (hence the hint of sugar), then pressure cooked. The result is some incredibly tender and juicy chicken that just melts in your mouth.
Very good fried chicken. Open late (bless)! Split a box of tenders and fries with my friend for dinner. Bob white sauce is pretty good, maybe a sweeter version of chick fil a sauce. I think these tenders would be better with a BBQ. Overall very great fried chicken. VERY GOOD fries!!!! Biscuit was nice — and not too dry. Apparently the Caesar wrap is yummy too, I believe it.

Bobwhite food was amazing. Food was super fresh, yummy and satisfying. I order the jalapeño guy burger with fries. spicy was perfect! The service was superb. My pictures are not the best as I already had taken a bite but believe me the best!

I initially tried the famous Bobwhite Counter chicken Caesar wrap at a food festival and it was pretty good but I never went to the actual restaurant until now. Me and a friend decided to pull up and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere is small with a limited amount of seating. Plus they have a kiosk where you can digitally order your food. If you ask me, this is a better version of Chick-fil-A. They specialize in chicken but have a variety of flavors and options to choose from. I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered the famous chicken Caesar wrap with a lemonade. The Caesar wrap was nice and warm. With the perfect amount of dressing. That chicken was fresh, crispy, and juicy. I enjoyed this Caesar wrap. Also, it wasn’t too heavy. The lemonade was sweet and refreshing. Can’t complain. I ordered through the kiosk, but service is good here. My food didn’t take too long. Honestly they may see me again in the near future… I came back a couple days after. I got the truffle chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, and lemonade. I love the simplicity of the menu I feel like I could come in here and order anything and be satisfied. I brought a friend from out of town here and they got the same items as me. They enjoyed it too. I forgot his name but shout out to the guy with the dreads who works here. He helped me decide to get the Mac & cheese which was really good.
Jeffrey G — Google review
Time out says that it is a #1 place for fried chicken in NYC. Well, they are wrong. The chicken isn't bad but it's not the best and I know a good fried chicken when I have it. The seasoning is there but my thing is not juicy enough and at times it's dry. Plus they only have tenders - I want a bigger variety. Buffalo chicken wrap is very nice - it's a bit spicy, it is juicy and saucy. I would get it again for sure. The sauces are very nice. Fries are a bit soggy but they look and taste homemade. Biscuits are very good - I enjoyed them. I must add that the sweet iced tea is also delightful - not overly sweet but still feels sugary.

Y’all this wrap was FIREEEEE!!! I got the buffalo chicken caesar wrap y’all that ish was so refreshing yet the chicken stayed so crunchy I was actually impressed. The buffalo and the caesar dressing flavors worked perfectly and the wrap was a pretty decent size. I also got the raspberry tea which on first sip felt a little watered down with not as much flavor as I’d hoped, but the more I ate the wrap the more the drink tasted so delicious.

Even though my food came cold (long distance) it was still good. The barbecue sauce had a little kick to it and I see why people are saying it taste like Popeyes, but it’s BETTER. The biscuit was cold and it was still soft the pickles were good. I also ordered the chocolate pudding.

Jose was amazing! He had such a great attitude — always smiling, friendly, and interacting with everyone. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing, which is so impressive for only his second day on the job. I really appreciate him and will definitely be coming back just for him! The food at Bob White is also so good — everything was fresh, hot, and came out super fast. I got my food within 5–6 minutes, which I really appreciated. Love this place, love the vibe, and definitely love Bob White!

Sweet Chick is a trendy spot that offers gourmet chicken and waffles, along with a variety of cocktails. The restaurant has a down-home Southern comfort-food vibe. Despite some initial disappointment from past visits, recent experiences have been positive. The manager was accommodating and ensured quick seating for brunch. The chicken and waffles are highly recommended, with tender and crispy chicken options available in various flavors like soy honey garlic, maple chipotle, and buffalo. However, the music can be too loud for comfortable conversation.
I haven’t been to Sweet Chick in a while, but the food remains as consistent as ever. The egg, cheese, and chicken sausage sandwich with tomato jam is on point. I love pairing it with a hash brown and a Bloody Mary—the bacon garnish on the Bloody Mary is the perfect touch!

Such a chill spot to get a very yummy bite to eat and strong bevvys. The chicken is juicy and flavorful and the fries are crinkly and crispy and tasty especially with the sauce. A great way to spend the afternoon in Williamsburg

W service, I'm a shy person and they have absolutely stellar service. I got fried chicken and fries for 14 bucks. The people I was with got side waffles for 8, and the other got a bucket of chicken with biscuits and coslaw. I'm not a fan of the flavor I picked but that's just me being picky. Good to visit at night especially. Good atmosphere with the lights off and the little lamps. Unlimited water, and there's mason jar cups you drink from straws. You could order drinks too but I was too lazy to.

If you in a mood of fried chicken with waffles, Sweet Chick is a good spot to eat this kind of food. The vibes of restaurant is trendy and easy. During busy hours on the weekend the service might not that great but still acceptable. I order Chicken n' Waffles which is good and yummy. Grit and Shrimp, I'm not crazy about the sauce. I went to southern restaurant before and they have the way to cook and prepare this dish better. Overall I like the place, it is good for an easy day.

Visited this place after 6 years and happy to report that the food is as good as ever. Had the classic chicken and waffles with an iced tea. The food was delicious with the chicken cooked to perfection.

Some of the absolute best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had, especially the waffles! They’re so fluffy and delicious. The chicken was crisp and with the sauce I got, the soy honey garlic it was soo flavorful. The servers were so nice and accommodating, very patient too. The atmosphere is nice and chill. I’ll definitely be coming back, it’s a great spot for all meal times.

First time trying Sweet Trick, and overall it wasn’t too bad. My fiancé had the shrimp and grits, and I had the fried chicken and waffle with vanilla topping (which tasted like condensed milk). The food was okay. The main issue was the wait—there was only one server, and as the place got busy, it took a while to be attended to. Sweet Trick, please consider hiring more staff so everyone feels looked after without long wait times. On the positive side, the extra touch of customer service—our server coming out to take our picture—was really nice and much appreciated.

Southern restaurant (US)
Peaches HotHouse is a casual eatery with locations in Bed Stuy and Fort Greene, offering a variety of Southern comfort food. The menu features both small and large plates, including favorites like fried green tomatoes, fried catfish, and their renowned chicken sandwich. In addition to classic dishes, the restaurant also serves Nashville-style spicy fried chicken paired with mac and cheese.
I stopped in about a week ago with a friend and I really enjoyed the food. The server was so nice, she really was a darling. She recommended that I get a shrimp sandwich and when I tell you that sandwich was bomb, it was bomb. I opted in for a salad for my side and that was really good. My friend got the a spicy chicken sandwich and he cleared the plate so I know it was good! I don't remember what the names of our drinks were, but they were ok. I would probably get something else next time, it was a punch of some sort I believe but overall I would return. The place is small but cozy.

After all these years I finally been to the infamous Peaches. This place is SMALL!! I had no idea. We was called after about a 30 minute wait and enjoyed our sandwiches, catfish, fried chicken and kale caesar salad, and which was my favorite. I heard their cocktails are great! This visit I had an ipa.
Ellie G — Google review
My recent visit to the restaurant was a mixed experience. While some dishes were enjoyable, others fell short of expectations, especially for a place that appears to specialize in soul food. The fried chicken and cornbread stood out as the highlights of the meal—flavorful and well-prepared. The mac and cheese, however, was just average, lacking the rich, creamy depth that makes it memorable. The collard greens were particularly disappointing; they lacked seasoning and soul, and we ultimately left them uneaten. On a more positive note, the 1/2 & 1/2 tea (half sweet tea, half lemonade) was delicious and refreshing. Service was standard but could have been more attentive. No one came by to check in on our table during the meal, which would have enhanced the overall experience. Finding the restaurant initially proved difficult, as there was no visible signage outside—just red umbrellas with "Bacardi" printed on them, which offered no clear indication of the restaurant's identity. Additionally, we noticed ants crawling on the table near the window, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects to the meal, the restaurant has room for improvement in both its food offerings and customer service.

I am giving grace as I presume they were busy due to the Juneteenth holiday/celebrations in the area. It was VERY packed—reminded me of a pack sardines. They had the a/c going but with the constant opening of the door and the amount of people inside the story didn’t really matter. We waited about 30-minutes after placing our name on the list. Wish they did reservations or a pay system; but I understand with the size of the place most people might not even bother. The food was mid lowkey just okay. I’ve heard lot of great things about Peaches in the NYC circuit as it pertains to food but as a table of 4 and everyone consensus being “it’s okay” don’t know if we’ll try again. For a soul food place I would say I expected better. However, I know Southern soul food and the east coast version of soul food don’t always translate. It’s like the transplants that not live in New York majority of the time it won’t work! I have one good note: the kale salad was delicious! It was fresh, had the best amounts of grated cheese and dressing just need more kale in my opinion since the salad name is named kale salad.
Franki K — Google review
This is a review of Peaches Hot House take out. I ordered through Grubhub and the order was ready promptly. I am in the neighborhood so the food was still warm when eaten. Obviously the presentation of takeout isn’t going to be as pretty as dining in so I will not critique that. The flavors were definitely present and pleasant. I had the fried chicken sandwich and had crispy grits as a side. The fried chicken was juicy with a crispy, hearty breading. This is not some “lightly fried” chicken and thank goodness because that’s how I like it. The standard chicken is seasoned well but I wanted it spicy so I paid a dollar extra for “very spicy.” I’m assuming the spice is provided by the salsa situation served on the side. In all honesty, it’s not that spicy so having a warning when ordering that it’s VERY SPICY is a bit dramatic. I wish it was spicer. Also the salsa/sauce is very runny and doesn’t feel like it makes sense with the sandwich. It looks and tastes like something that would be wicked good on some tacos but for a chicken sandwich is was a bit of a mismatch. Thankfully the sandwich is served with a spicy mayo that worked great with the meal and cole slaw that was ACTUALLY GOOD. The slaw was light and crisp with the perfect amount of tangy dressing. Unfortunately the bun was stale so that knocked my opinion down a bit. The crispy grits I ordered as a side (a dollar extra) were great. I am not familiar with this variation of grits but I definitely would order them again. They are like hush puppies but soft and cheesy on the inside with a crisp exterior. Really great stuff. If the meal was perfect I probably wouldn’t feel this way but with the stale bun and mismatched sauce I do think the price is steep. If I am paying $20 for a chicken sandwich meal, it should be a restaurants best work. If the meal can not be made consistently fresh and hot then it feels negative to pay premium prices for it. I know the hothouse location is designed for more quick, simple meals compared to the other Peaches locations so I will be trying the other locations out and hopefully have a 5 star experience there.

Quite good southern food within the Peaches Restaurant empire in Brooklyn. It’s a fast casual spot, along with brunch, and also it seems like it’s great for the summer and spring months as well. The Chicken was juicy, flavorful, and fried nicely. Hot was hot. Spicier than let’s say an El Yucateco. Cornbread was moist and fresh. The fries were a bit sad. The collard greens were absolutely delicious. Easily the best part of southern food and it’s been a while since I’ve had. $7, costly, but worth it. Same with the Mac, which was more like Cheese and Mac rather than Mac and Cheese. Still delicious and gluttonous. I’ll be back to try some sandwiches in the sunny months.

Gage & Tollner, a historic restaurant located in Downtown Brooklyn, has recently made a highly anticipated comeback after being closed for 17 years. The restaurant, originally established in 1879, is now under the management of veteran restaurateurs Sohui Kim and Ben Schneider along with St. John Frizell. The interior exudes Gilded Age grandeur and offers an intimate dining experience.
Whoa ! Great quality food and excellent flavors. To start, the rolls, broccoli, and Caesar salad was delicious and well developed. Our table also ordered the hen of the woods and oysters. A few of us split the Porterhouse for Three, which was excellently seasoned. To finish, the comeback special sundae was super amazing. I’m delightfully satisfied. One issue we had was with our steak — we ordered medium rare and it came more on the rare side. This is fine with me because I prefer my steak on the rare side, and the buttery texture and seasoning compensated. That being said, not all at my table preferred this. All and all, I’m excited to eat here again sometime. Super modern and classy atmosphere, as well as great service. Every course was so unique from the last, and deeply satiating.

Scorched Cream crab soup. Waited 20 minutes for it. Think they made it on the fly. Steak was cooked perfectly but was so over salted , it was hard to eat. I love Salt ..this was ridiculous. The offered to make a new one but I was starving not have eaten since breakfast and then not having the soup. They took of 20% of the Price of the beef ...a gesture... Dessert Baked Alaska Meringue was sickly sweet but had a beautiful silky texture.T he Mint was overpowering . Service was very good except one waiter went to clear my plate ,Crossed over way to close to me , ruff table side manners. A Surf n turf was served uncracked lobster w no tools to do so... ridiculous! Don't bother waisting your time , money .

Gage & Tollner is a true gem and a perfect spot for a special date night. This historic Brooklyn steakhouse has been around since 1879, and it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. The food is outstanding—classic surf & turf done right, with incredibly high-quality ingredients. I especially appreciate that their steaks are grass-fed, dry-aged, and many ingredients are sourced from local farms, which really shows in the flavor. The service is warm and attentive, and the old-school atmosphere adds to the charm. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it for the quality and experience. My only minor complaint is that the tables are a little too close together, which can make it feel a bit tight. That said, we’ll absolutely be back—this place is a Brooklyn classic for a reason.

We chose this local restaurant to celebrate my son’s birthday because steak is his favorite, and we were hoping for something special. Unfortunately, I left regretting the choice. The interior and decor were lovely—elegant and inviting—but the service felt robotic. There was no warm welcome or personable interaction. When you go to a nicer restaurant for a special occasion, you expect a more thoughtful and engaging experience. This felt no different from a run-of-the-mill spot. We ordered the “steak for three,” but the portion felt more like it was for two. On top of that, we asked for medium, but what we got was definitely medium-well. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing stood out, and it certainly didn’t feel worth the price. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a special occasion. It might be okay for a regular dinner, but if you’re celebrating something meaningful, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

The steak portions were a bit small, so we ordered an extra serving. However, the meat was flavorful and well-prepared. Our server was cheerful and had a great sense of humor, which made us overlook the portion size. Overall, it was a lovely evening thanks 🎉

Our favorite restaurant in Brooklyn! Great rotation of oysters during their happy hour. We love the friendly bartenders too especially Lucky, Rachel, Ben, and Kern! Aside from the oysters, our other favs include the hen of the woods mushrooms, she-crab soup, parker house rolls, and the shared porterhouse. If you're going for dinner, put your name in for the Sunken Harbor Club for a nightcap upstairs after your meal.
Christopher B — Google review
A very neat place. Very old, ~1900, and full of character. We only tackled the lunch menu, so difficult to anticipate the dinner menu. Our food was good the Biscuit and gravy especially. Dessert choice is a bit limited though. The bar looked very enticing, and would be a great place to spend a mellow evening at. Overall a very excellent place to try if you are in the neighborhood.
Terrence L — Google review
What an amazing meal. We made a last minute decision to swing by here for dinner on Halloween and maybe check out the Sunken Harbor Club upstairs. Our original plan was drinks upstairs followed by dinner downstairs, but that quickly flipped around when we learned that there was a 90 minute wait for the nautical speakeasy. I'm glad our plans changed though as we were already fairly hungry, and after a few drinks upstairs, we wouldn't have savored every bite the way we did by eating first. About once or twice a year, we splurge and try caviar at various restaurants. This was among our absolute favorites. The blinis were soft, tasty and perfect sized. The creme that was served with it made a nice addition, but ultimately it all let the caviar be the star of the show (and it was). If you've never tried caviar before, this is the place to begin your journey. From there we got the she-crab soup and the roasted pumpkin soup along with the house rolls (these rolls are enough reason to come here - holy cow they were so good). Both soups hit the spot and it was tough to pick a favorite. Finally for our entree, we split the Beef Wellington for Two. I might rate this dish a hair below amazing, but still very good. The presentation was beautiful, the steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce hit all the right notes, but I feel like due to its size, the ratio of mushroom and pastry was miniscule compared to the steak. Again, still a very good meal, but might opt to try something else next time we dine here, and trust me, there will be a next time. The staff were outstanding. The crew that greeted us were fantastic in helping us get a table as well as help us organize with the hostess from upstairs to plan an amazing evening. Our server was wonderful and perfectly attentive. She even complemented us on our food choices, remarking that many of these are her favorites. The building itself is absolutely stunning. I had read about how both the interior and exterior are landmarked and I read a brief history of the restaurant on their website. It truly was a wonderful evening and I look forward to our next time dining here.

COQODAQ is a Korean restaurant located in Flatiron, and it's the sister restaurant to Cote. Despite its extravagant offerings like baby bottles of champagne and 24-karat poultry with caviar, the restaurant provides a friendly service and a sleek, hip atmosphere. The Bucket List is recommended for a complete dining experience, featuring buckets of chicken for the table along with sides and frozen yogurt for dessert. The chicken is described as crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Korean fried meets luxury! This place is the perfect date, or celebration spot that gives the “WOW” factor. I tried caviar for the first time here and Im glad they popped my cherry. I love how fresh the oysters are so delicious. The Caesar salad was fresh and crunchy. Never in my life would I think I’d enjoy caviar on a chicken nugget but man was it phenomenal. They also have chicken buckets which was filled with so much flavor. Reservations is a must for a smooth transition into seating. The music and ambience just makes you feel like a girl in sex and the city. I will definitely be back.

Upscale spot for fried chicken with a nice atmosphere and great presentation. The side dishes were delicious and impressive, each one well thought out and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the chicken itself was not as special as I expected, especially considering the price. It is definitely on the expensive side for chicken, but still worth a visit if you want to experience something a bit more elevated and enjoy the sides and ambiance.

COQODAQ takes fried chicken to a completely different level. Served Korean BBQ–style with an array of sides, sauces, and accompaniments, every bite feels deliberate and indulgent. The chicken is perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and beautifully seasoned. The nuggets with toppings are another highlight — designed for that perfect Instagram moment without feeling gimmicky. And then there’s the quiet detail that ties the whole experience together: the sink at the entrance, complete with some of the best hand soaps out there — from Hermès to Le Labo. It’s the kind of understated luxury touch that says everything about the brand’s philosophy: style and substance, down to the smallest element.

We came here for brunch and absolutely loved it! The fried chicken was delicious — especially the plain one that came with my chicken and waffles dish. The gochujang chicken had great flavor too, though the sauce is on the stronger side, so if you enjoy bold flavors, you’ll love it. The dishes were beautifully presented, and I highly recommend to not skip their kimbap. It’s a perfect spot for sharing plates and trying a little bit of everything. The atmosphere was clean and stunning, with a bright and modern feel. The music was on the loud side, which made it a little hard to talk but it didn’t fully take away from the experience. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, such a wonderful spot — I’d definitely come back!

Reservations weren’t easy to snag, but the food was absolutely worth it, and surprisingly affordable. I ordered the Bucket List and tried one of each of the caviar nuggets, and everything was amazing. Perfect spot for a night out. Service was a 10/10. The staff at the front acknowledged us right away and had us seated quickly. Nothing felt rushed, and the servers were consistently attentive throughout the meal.

the food here is good, i really have no complaint. the chicken was a very good rendition of korean-style fried, the banchan pickles were interesting and tasty, the caesar salad was yummy with a unique crouton and the scallion salad was delicious. my problem comes mostly with the prices here. i’m no stranger to the cost of fine dining and have spent hundreds of dollars on amazing dinners in this city. first, is anyone in your party wants “the bucket list” then everyone at your table will be required to have the bucket list. so if someone wants to order something different they will be offered the opportunity to order in IN ADDITION to the nearly $50 fried chicken meal. now, this $46 fried chicken meal comes with a shot glass-sized vessel of chicken consummé, the pickles and scallion salad i mentioned and a small serving of some pretty flavorless noodles. don’t be fooled by the space it takes up on the menu to give the impression that you will have SO much food. honestly i don’t think the price would matter as much to me if everyone in the party wasn’t forced into it. so, not sorry i tried it because the food was actually good, but i probably wouldn’t visit again, and in my opinion it’s not worth the hype and struggle to get a reservation. also save a few bucks by ordering their house prosecco, it’s actually very good.

Hosted a private dinner event at Coqodaq's Go Go Sing (private karaoke room), and it was an unforgettable celebration! The entire night was flawless thanks to the meticulous behind-the-scenes work from Event Manager Jennifer (Jenni) Escalante, Somm Ian, Events team and the actual night of event team including Melvin, Cici (sp?) and everyone. Working with Jenni was a dream! She's a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and an overall event goddess blessed with serious skills: organized, detail oriented, creative, impeccable follow-through! And no, I'm not related to her. And no, I never knew her before I worked with her for my event/party. TLDR: the service (gracious, attentive, on top of everything), space, food, champagne + wine + cocktails (the Martini Tree!), entire experience from A to Z was 100% perfection, and then some! We and our guests were blown away by the entire night at Coqodaq, and it was a testament to their professionalism and commitment to excellence. And the karaoke at Go Go Sing is unmatched! Puts any other karaoke spot to shame. Coqodaq (and Cote) are always top choices in NYC for dining with a small group ... but hosting a private party in Coqodaq's Karaoke Room Go Go Sing should be on everyone's bucket list!

Came here with a couple of coworkers for dinner... All of us thought the fried chicken were decent, but really overpriced -- 60$ per person including tip, for a nice but small starter soup, maybe 6 or 7 pieces of fried chicken, tiny bowl or noodle, and a very modest fruit cup. The kimchi and vegetables came with free refills, but without the chicken the vegetables were way too salty. I left kind of hungry. For $60 and just decent fried chicken and still not full. None of us felt inclined to return.

Pecking House is a popular restaurant in Park Slope that initially gained fame as a delivery service. Their signature fried chicken, which combines Chinese and Nashville hot flavors, has garnered widespread acclaim. The cozy counter-service spot offers moist and flavorful fried chicken with a crispy crust. Despite being on the pricier side, the friendly staff and delectable dishes make it worth the visit. Customers praise the diverse menu options and recommend trying the salted egg flavor.
Rating: 9/10 Date Last Visited: 8/23/2025 We ordered the Chili Sandwich ($16), Leg Quarters ($16), Spice Bag ($14), and Chicken Salt Fries ($8). The chicken in all three entrees were delicious - they were well seasoned, fried perfectly, and super juicy. The leg quarters were the star of the show, they were enormous. Each leg was coated beautifully with batter and seasoning. The chicken itself was juicy and delicious. Although the sandwich was a bit small for the price, the flavor was solid and each bite was elite. The spice bag is done as well as it could be - the curry was solid and went well with the fried chicken bites and crispy fries. The chicken salt fries were crispy but I didn’t really taste the chicken salt, it tasted like regular fries but still good. Overall, this place is solid and worth trying if you want an Asian twist on fried chicken.

The sandwich is the way to go! The chili chicken was sooo delish! And the milk bread matches / compliments in a beautiful way. Didn’t love the egg yolk flavour - a bit dry? Weird texture? The fries were simply not good. EMP alum do better!!! Frozen fries, too thick, not crispy enough, with a forgettable salt? Would come back for the sandwich but I hope the other stuff improves.

I had the chilli chicken wings, these were so big I took 1 of the 3 home. The taste was great, the spice level was perfect (for me).

This is the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. The chicken is so juicy, tender and full of flavor. We went back a second time during our trip just to try the half chicken which was fantastic with a perfect crisp to the skin and the spicy seasoning was delicious. Not too heavy on the heat but flavorful that you can taste the distinct notes of seasoning. So delicious.
Yunny D — Google review
So the chicken is solid, very familiar Asian flavors but I’ve never had it on fried chicken. Light spicy, even extra hot isn’t that spicy. The crisp is amazing and not full of batter. It is only oily if you get the chili oil version, salty egg wash isn’t oily at all. I’ve deducted some points because the pricing was perfect for 3 jumbo wings. Now, they give 4 smaller wings while charging more, exceeding the amount I’m willing to spend for lunch.

Blue Ribbon Brasserie is an iconic late-night dining spot in SoHo, known for its convivial atmosphere and delicious American dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including seafood, fried chicken, burgers, escargot, and a mile-high tower of seafood. Open until 4:00 a.m., it's a popular spot for late-night revelers, chefs, and foodies looking for excellent service and memorable food.
Blue Ribbon Brasserie – Our Soho Staple From the very first time we dined at Blue Ribbon Brasserie in Soho, we knew—we found our neighborhood restaurant. The warmth of the owner and manager is something rare in New York. Every time we walk in, no matter how last-minute or late it is, we’re always greeted like regulars. The atmosphere? Always a perfect 10/10—whether it’s 10pm or 1am, the energy is vibrant, lively, and full of charm. It’s packed with good vibes and great people, yet the service never misses a beat: fast, attentive, and genuinely kind. We feel lucky to have a spot like this right in our neighborhood. Even when we don’t have a reservation, the manager often finds a way to accommodate us. And the food? Consistently excellent. Their escargots, shrimp cocktail, New York strip, and ribeye are always on point—never once disappointing. The cocktails are just as impressive. Blue Ribbon has become our go-to—month after month, it’s a ritual. It’s not just a meal, it’s part of our life in Soho

A guy I was dating told me about how orgasmic the beef marrow and oxtail marmalade is. So I had to try it! It was absolutely delicious, very tasty and very soft. James, the bartender was so personable, attentive, and nice. I loved him, will definitely come back to see him. He suggested the crème brûlée and it did not disappoint. It was the best I have had in years. It was thick and creamy. I highly recommend both dishes (beef marrow and dessert). The place it self is small and narrow, but very well staffed and service was fantastic. This makes for a great date spot, or just a night out with friends.

Phenominal. Everyone and everything here deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, this place got it right and got it going on for sure! Bar none They break the standard for what feel good NYC dining is and should be. Dont take my word for it, go and you will see for yourself.

Came to BRB for our first dinner in NYC. The food was incredible. We ordered the calamari and escargot to start. The calamari was probably the best I have ever had. It was cooked and served in this incredible broth. The escargot also did not disappoint. Sadly they don't offer bread to dip into the broth. We had asked for bread and it came after. For our next course we ordered the Basque paella. I have no words to describe this. It was perfectly cooked with fresh mussels, claims, calamari and shrimp. The chicken thighs and chicken sausage were a pleasant surprise as it is typically pork (Which I don't eat). The portion was huge and I wouldn't have ordered another dish if I knew it was that big. Finally we ordered the striploin with mushrooms. The steak was cooked to perfection. My critiques are their drinks. The cocktails ordered were horrible and had to force ourselves to finish them. Ordered their old fashion and a goose martini. Both terrible. The place was bumping for a Friday night. Tables are too close and it was a bit too warm. I first tried bone marrow at this original Blue Ribbon location over 2 decades ago. The iconic NYC institution is still excellent, using the best quality ingredients, freshest seafood for their raw bar towers, great old school NY service (a rarity these days) and a delicious cocktail and wine selection. We sat outside in the outdoor dining which was perfect on a nice weather evening. Best fried oysters ever, and don't sleep on the skate!

From Vietnamese Hot Wings to Caribbean Jerk Baby Back Ribs and Texas-style Brisket to Pulled Pork, there's something for every barbecue enthusiast.
Highly recommend this place! I hate white meat because it can be dry but I cannot express enough how PERFECT the chicken breast was here. The Korean Ribs were delightful- the perfect mix between sweet, a mild kick and the crushed peanuts on top just added to this. The Mac and cheese was very decadent and filled with cheesy flavor. We also got the brisket dip which was amazing!!!! Very thick and with a mild kick as well, I cannot express this enough- you need to try this place!! Just know when you go in you will need to order at the cash register to order. They’ll give you a table number. You will have to self serve plates, cutlery and water.

Absolute hands down best BBQ joint in NY and perhaps best I’ve ever had. All the hype about Hometown is on point. Super casual and super friendly staff. You have the choice of both indoor and outdoor seating. Every item on their menu is to die but the ultimate is the pastrami sandwich. YES you heard me right! This sandwich is even better than Katz’s. More bark, more tender, juicier and let’s not forget the buttered rye bread. Bottom line, there is not a single item on their menu that is not worth devouring.

Super fan spot. In the top circle of NYC-based BBQ establishments. Daily list of standard and special BBQ fare, by the lb or in sandwich form. Good sides. Ribs and Pulled Pork I give an 8/10, brisket at 7/10, beans 8.5/10, corn bread is really interesting 8.5/10. Other sides are a 7/10. Overall comment is that I wish there was a bit more smoke flavor on everything, and the sides were a bit on the fatty side. But it's very good BBQ. Great atmosphere, and excellent vibe. Live music put everything over the top. Totally awesome scene and energy. Drinks are also very good, homemade cocktails and all the mixers and garnishes taste fresh. Would absolutely recommend.

I just loved the idea of dining to a local place; we really loved the vibe! It’s a self service restaurant where the staff are extremely helpful and friendly even though we were tourists dining for the first time there! I noticed on the board menu that several dishes were written off which meant that they were easily sold out. Tables are on a first come first serve basis and the drinks are sold on the bar. There is a station with several take away boxes which you can use to take out your leftovers!! The food was bursting with flavour; the family found it a bit spicy but to me it was amazing!

Pretty good BBQ place for a NY Joint. Saw this place advertised on Man, Fire, Food on TV. Hard to find a Beef Rib in the area and Texas Red Chili all in one Place. Overall the BBQ was spot on. Everything a BBQ place should be. Smaller place than I expected size wise and got that country look to it. Felt that the Korean Sticky ribs although tasted good was a bit over cooked and tough to eat. The best was that Beef Rib, Brisket and The Chili. Definitely worth the trip and place to check out.

This was my third time here and for some reason the wait in line was for 40 minutes (I wanted some BBQ and happened to be in the area so I waited 🤷🏾‍♀️). I got a $22 brisket sandwich that was hard to chew and the meat was not hot. The hometown bbq at industry city has always been good when I've gone! Their food was hot and the brisket tender with the right amount of fat. So i'm giving up on this location 🫤 Every time I come here the brisket dissapoints.
Rehema T — Google review
Probably the best BBQ in NYC. While a far cry from some of the titans in the South, Hometown deserves credit for its innovative approach to a classic cuisine. The highlights on the menu are the greens, beans and potato salad and their two sauces are excellent. In terms of flavor, Hometown knows what it’s doing. The meat, however, is not quite perfect. The brisket could render the fat more to avoid heavy fatty pieces, and while the smoke on the ribs were good, the flavor was average. If you’re thinking of heading to Red Hook to visit, be prepared to wait at least an hour in line. They will supplement this wait time by taking drink orders in line, or you can walk up to the bar and grab one as well. With occasional live music, and ample space, Hometown certainly has the look and feel of a classic BBQ joint. Worth a visit- if you can make it through the line!

The best BBQ in NYC and most of Texas. This place is divine. Food is delicious and made with love. The line goes around the corner for a reason. Pastrami bacon is heaven. Pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are the bomb and all the sides are scrumptious. Our family go to. ♥️♥️♥️

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, Buttermilk Channel is a cozy and inviting eatery known for its hearty American comfort food and popular weekend brunch. The restaurant offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with carefully crafted dishes that showcase attention to detail. From buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches to duck meatloaf and homemade mushroom-barley veggie burgers, there's something for everyone on the menu.
I’ve been here many, many times and the food and service were always excellent. The barbecued mussels are AMAZING and something I haven’t seen on other menus in NYC. The fried chicken in any form was also fantastic and the cocktails always perfection. This neighborhood staple will be sorely missed, but I’m so glad I got to dine here last night for one final time. Be sure to check out their sister restaurant French Louie!

Came here for restaurant week. The kale salad was delicious, crispy and fresh and not too oily or salty. The trout salad was good too though it was a bit on the saltier side since it was cured. The entrees were ok. I ordered lasagna, it was a bit salty. I didn't taste any eggplants, mostly just squash. The fried chicken was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The Belgium waffle wasn't crispy. The deserts were good though. The pecan Sunday was delicious, although a bit too sweet. The cheesecake was delicious.

The brunch is finger-licking good. The must try is the French toast, it’s a whole experience. But the short-rib hash also gives it a run for its money. Even the salad was really yummy and fresh. It can get a little busy though, so be ready for that.

Buttermilk channel is one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn! Their pancakes are fantastic (and so is the jam). We also ordered the short rib hash, warm lamb salad and a side of bacon. All of which were delicious. The breakfast cocktails weren’t my favorite but I would absolutely visit again for the food and vibe!

Did brunch here on a busy Sunday. Was nice to see your place that is well run and able to serve a full house. Reservations look to be a really good idea on busy time is like Sunday brunch. The service was professional and friendly. Chicken sandwich tasted as good as it looked. Poached eggs were perfection. Pancakes were divine, the maple syrup was a sweet delight. And the fries, the fries! Don't forget to order some. Look forward to Dining there again when we visit family in Brooklyn.

Stepping into Buttermilk Channel Restaurant felt like stumbling upon a breakfast paradise, and their Chicken & Waffles and Pancakes sealed the deal for an authentic morning feast. The Chicken & Waffles were a revelation, with the chicken boasting a perfect crunch and the waffles a comforting canvas for the flavors. As for the pancakes, they were a testament to homey goodness, fluffy and delicious. The care they put into sourcing quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The cozy vibe of the place, combined with the friendly staff, made it a genuine, comforting experience. Buttermilk Channel Restaurant is where breakfast dreams come true, a spot I'd gladly revisit for a taste of their hearty, real-deal dishes.

Lovely place for brunch! The interior was very nicely decorated and there were great options to choose from for food. I got the chicken and waffles which was very tasty. It was light and crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside, would love to come back and try more dishes.

The place is very cute and the service is great. The walnut sticky bun was great, exactly what one would expect. The short rib hash had some interesting middle eastern spices, which gave it a unique flavor. The fried chicken sandwich is enormous, the chicken is so juicy and the coleslaw and pickles are nice to cut through the fattiness. The French toast was my favorite. It's very thick but soaked all the way through, the sauce is amazing, and the whipped cream is very good and just the right density/heaviness.

Southern restaurant (US)
Peaches is a popular restaurant located in a historic brownstone neighborhood, offering a modern take on Southern comfort food. The menu features Creole-influenced soul food, including hot Nashville-style chicken sandwiches, loaded baked grits, sweet corn pancakes, and fried green tomatoes. It's known as a go-to spot for good soul food in Brooklyn and is frequented by locals for special occasion dinners or brunch with friends.
This was my second time at this location. Everything was great. I ordered a greens salad and the catfish (fried) & grits with 2 scrambled eggs on the side. Grits were creamy and flavorful and fish was fried to perfection. My partner got the chicken & toast which she loved. Great music and vibes. Will be back for sure.

The food was delicious! Our server was Jeremy!!!!! Love him something fierce! The way this man was so attentive to our table and the tables around us while maintaining professionalism and manners was exemplary. The food came back and the drinks were pretty good (wish they were a bit stronger but the Miss Jackson was delicious!). Definitely coming back.

Went here before over 5 years ago and didn’t like it but tried it again with my siblings hoping they improved and was very very disappointed. The atmosphere and music were very good, however the service was very slow (although the waitress was nice) and the food was nasty. This is NOT what I would consider southern/soul food. We ordered 2 drinks which were pretty good but were dissatisfied with our entrees. My sister and I got the steak frites and my brother got the ribs. Everything was very bland. My sister got a side of Mac and cheese and it had this very grainy texture. The menu said truffle fries were served with the steak but it was just regular plain fries I had to season myself. We were expecting hanger or ribeye cut steak for our entree (steak frites is typically a tender cut) but we weren’t even sure what cut we got and asked the waitress who insisted it was hanger but then went to ask the cook who told her it was something we were all unsure of. Bottom line when it came to the food, free dessert included (peaches Melba which was literally peaches on slices of bread) absolutely disappointing. Definitely would not call this a southern or soul food restaurant. Total spent before gratuity for 3 entrees 2 drinks and a soda was $130 which wasn’t the worst if we would’ve enjoyed it.

The only item I ate here was the bread pudding. It was absolutely 💯 👌. I cannot describe how many people get this recipe wrong. Peaches has perfected it as well as add a nut of spice (rum). If this dish is any indication of how good the food is here, I'm on my way back!

I’ve had several wonderful experiences at Peaches in Brooklyn. I used to come here on my lunch breaks and after work for dinner. I love trying different dishes from their delicious menu. The salmon is my favorite, and the chicken thighs are also delicious. The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful, and the customer service is consistently excellent and welcoming. I also enjoyed when outside seating is open- spring, summer, and fall when the weather is nice. I was first introduced to Peaches by my coworkers, and I can clearly see why it has such a great reputation.

2 Peaches locations done, both with great results. The breakdown: This location is slightly larger than Peaches Hothouse a couple blocks from this area and twice as busy so there was a wait to order my food to get the attention of any of the waiters, but I have to say, the waitress that served me was very courteous when it was my time to order. The place does have a bit of Southern aesthetic to it being dimly lit but you wouldn't entirely notice on the day I went because it was very sunny outside. Fortunately the food preparation didn't take as long as it did for any of the servers to notice me and I my order was brought to me in the most immaculate presentation possible, it was picturesque I didn't want to ruin it but I was hungry. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Po'Boy with Fries. I thought it was a choice between fries or the side salad which happened to be coleslaw but I got both anyway. I don't care for coleslaw period so I didn't touch it. I started off on the fries, nice and tender to the touch with the right type of crisp, just like the other Peaches in Bed-Stuy. The Po'Boy was MASSIVE. They gave me a healthy serving of shrimp that I thought I'd have to dislocated my jaw to even bite into it but I managed, evenly so to the point that I was shocked I didn't make a mess of myself. That Po'Boy legit tasted like having it in New Orleans, just absolutely divine. Also had some Strawberry Lemonade with it which might have been a mocktail because it did have the aftertaste of one. The taste of itself as a whole was pretty good. The Tiger Woods I had from the other Peaches spot is slightly better but this Peaches didn't have my favorite half and half on the menu so it would have to do. Of course the whole meal came up to $29 whilst giving a $4 tip as a job well done on service. All that's left is Peaches Prime and Grand. I'm already stoked to get there, after I can feel like I can afford it.

New Review 9/29/24: Soco has fallen off. I went on Sunday afternoon and it was severely understaffed. The waiter said multiple times he was new but the food took well over an hour to come out. The handed is chipped plates for our appetizers. Sad to say the owner was mixed the drinks because there was no bartender. The food was okay but after a long wait it's hard to be happy with what you get. This was once a go to spot to have good food and vibes. I hope they are able to bounce back. Old Review: The staff is friendly. Fish and grits as well as the mussels were very tasty.

Weekend brunch opens at 12pm strictly. When the shades are pulled up the place is open. Nice space. We were seated at a big table since there were 5 of us. The staff were nice and the music was great. The place filled up quickly and got very loud which was fine. Food was pretty good. The mimosa carafe was $48 but tasted pretty good. Portion size was on the smaller side compared to other restaurants. Red velvet pancakes were not bad. The fish and grits were really good. The fried chicken was really good.

I have been going here for years it haven't been since covid, we ordered the Catfish app which was so delicious, practically melted in my mouth after a very satisfying crunch. Next week got the red velvet chicken and waffles (which at one point this dish was what they were known for) well after pouring a very thick cold syrup over my chicken and waffle, (some would argue with me, but I don't care I love syrup on my chicken when in eating those dishes, which is much favorite go too) I first cut into the waffle and it seems good but when I put it in my mouth I was not happy, it was very dense and chewy, and then I asked my daughter so you think they changed the recipe, well for starters it was nown2 square waffle as opposed to the round Belgium waffle I was used too. So when the lovely young lady came to ask about our experience so far, I hesitated but then explained the situation to her, she asked if I wanted another set, I declined, a few moments later when came out with a waffle that was better but still not good enough. I tried to eat it but just couldn't, but on the other hand the chicken was superb, well seasoned just enough crunch for the meal and the portion was great as I didn't even eat the waffles. The drinks were very refreshing too. We had flavored lemonade that tasted like they took the fruit and muddled it eight into the glass, very delicious. I joked with my dining buddy, this was our punishment for going to get chicken and waffles after our gym workout. 😆 p.s we had the place all too our selves 💜

The Sunday brunch was so really good. The food was amazing and everything really did taste amazing. The drinks were strong and delicious as well. There were a lot of people there at this time which prolonged our food more than the average time. We had a party of 6 people and had to ask for water a couple times instead of being given the water bottles for the entire table. There also weren't able to accommodate a vegetarian who wanted to have red velvet waffles without the fried chicken. The dish wasn't able to be separated, because it was a "Soco Specialty". So be mindful of your dietary restrictions when coming here. Overall the experience and food was really good and the I would definitely go again.

You walk in, and the DJ's music hits you, and you're nodding your head while you walk to your table to be seated. Amazing atmosphere, and beautiful people... but the star of the show is the FOOD! We’ve eaten here a couple times in the last few months and it’s rarely let us done. Surprisingly some of the best huevos rancheros in Williamsburg are delivered here. The eggs Benedict are great and the French toast. The only let down was the egg tacos which seemed very uninspired and kinda bland. But we will forgive them for that just this once.

My friend and I both ordered the chicken sandwich, spicy, and sat outside. I've had many chicken sandwiches in this city, but none this size. It was crispy, crunchy, tender, filling, but not spicy (that's fine, spice is relative and restaurants have to cater to their neighborhood). The fries and drinks were also great. Definitely coming back.

Friendly and attentive staff. We tried the chicken nuggets which had a lot of breading on them, good flavor and a little too chunky in my opinion . The mushroom flatbread pizza was pretty good. It needed a little sauce on the side in my opinion or spice. Nice atmosphere inside with dim candlelight which gave cozy vibes. You also had the option to sit outside and enjoy those types of vibes as well.

Korean restaurant
Atoboy is a popular Korean restaurant in New York City, known for its modern and imaginative approach to traditional Korean cuisine. Opened by Chef Junghyun Park and his wife Ellia in 2016, it quickly became a favorite among NYC foodies. The restaurant offers a 4-course prix-fixe menu inspired by the concept of banchan, featuring small side dishes served with every Korean meal.
This place feels exactly like what I’d imagine a New York version of Korean cuisine to be. Every single dish was incredibly delicious—Chef Park Jung Hyun is truly on another level. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance of being relaxed yet refined, and the course menu was thoughtfully curated with just the right number of options. The food was so good, I completely forgot to take photos except for the starters and dessert. They allowed wine corkage, so I brought one of my most cherished bottles—Hundred Acre. It was such a joyful and memorable experience.

Elevated and eloquent, only the start of how good this place is. The service is excellent, atmosphere upscale, and most importantly the food is excellent quality and tasty. The dishes are fresh and crafted with impeccable attention details. Between the freshness of the ingredients, playing of textures and flavors, and quality of the overall dishes, I believe this place earns a big 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants good food to celebrate any occasion... including wanting the BEST fried chicken I've had in a long time. It's truly amazing, truly exquisite. Get it. And go here.

Every course was excellent! I came with my wife and we shared, so we got to try two different dishes for each course. The uni dish was incredible. The squid dish is very special. Both entrees are equally good. We paid for the fried chicken. The portion is small but it was piping hot and melts in your mouth. It’s worth the try. If I had to pick my favorites: sea urchin, squid, fried chicken, and the steamed rice that came with the entrees.

Had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Atoboy! Every dish was bursting with flavor and presented so beautifully—it was truly a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that made the whole dining experience even better. Honestly, the food was so good, I completely forgot to take a picture of one of the dishes because I was too busy enjoying it. That alone says everything! Highly recommend this spot—whether you're a local or visiting, it's a must-try.

Atoboy was surprisingly awesome restaurant. The service was very professional and super friendly and quiet knowledgeable. The interior was minimalistic, simple, and elegant. The restaurant definitely let you focus on the food what was being served and that you eat. The foods were delicious and offered a wide variety of different assortments for the prefixes. My favorite was the ribs, squid, and the squash with cheese fondue. Also the addition of Fried chicken is a must! I recommend going in a pair of 3 because then you can get all of the items on the menu and share which I did with 2 others. Definitely go if you have not been here, it’s a great place and food!

We LOVED all but two dishes. The fried chicken, the Uni, the shrimp in particular were absolutely fantastic. However, the ice cream was foul. It tasted like corroded metal and needs to be removed from the menu. Still giving this place five stars because the highs were very high

Great prix fixe menu; with a bunch of add-ons! Flavors are on point. Expect smaller portions. Sharing is possible, but expect only few bites per person. Come here to spark the taste buds in your mouth, not to get your stomach stuffed. The most memorial dishes here are the uni starter, fluke, sweet shrimp, cod, and fried chicken (extra $28, and shareable). The only dish that we thought was meh was the tuna. Special shout out to the nori rice - amazing flavors! Recommended.
Jason E — Google review
Interesting upscale reinvention of modern Korean food. I went here with a friend for a birthday and it was definitely an interesting experience. The (only) option is the prix-fixe menu, which is $75 per person. This isn't so bad for a higher end restaurant in the city, but some of the dishes have a small upcharge and dessert is not included. We got to try a decent amount of the dishes since we each ordered a different option from each "category" and overall the food was clearly high quality and well made. I felt that the appetizers and "amuse bouche" were more interesting than the entrees. Favorites included the bluefin tuna, the sweet shrimp, and the sea urchin, which was very fresh. I personally felt like the squid was interesting but not good. For lack of a better of way of describing it, it tasted like a fancy hot dog. Overpowering slightly sweet smoky flavor, I could not taste any squid at all. The main dishes we got, the cod and the pork galbi, were good but not anything really out of the ordinary. The fried chicken, which comes at a hefty supplement, is very good though. The portion is a healthy size, getting one order for a group or two or three is enough. It reminded me more of Japanese fried chicken (karaage) than traditional Korean fried chicken as the "breading" was very light and not quite as heavy which I liked. We also shared their signature dessert, the "sujeonggwa granita" which was very good. Why am I giving it a 4/5? The food was pretty good but I didn't really feel like it was worth the price. It ended up being a little over $300 total for two people, with one drink per person. The appetizers and the dessert were probably the most interesting parts of the meal. The other thing I didn't like is that until very recently they were a "gratuity included" restaurant but this has changed as of this month. This is essentially a "stealth" increase of 20% on all of the prices as that is a pretty standard tip at a place like this. And the last thing is a small thing, but the utensils were dirty. Some literally had fingerprints on them. I wouldn't mind at a cheaper restaurant at all but come on guys - for how... strongly priced the meals are here, I don't think clean silverware is an unreasonable expectation?

Brunch restaurant
Walter's is a trendy American restaurant located in Fort Greene, which is an offshoot of the original Williamsburg location. The bistro offers a seasonal menu and attracts a stylish crowd with its glamorous ambiance. It's an ideal spot for cocktails or a satisfying meal, featuring options like fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable sides. The restaurant is known for its raw bar and innovative brunch offerings, such as chicken & waffles and lobster rolls.
I have been here many times and always bring friends and visitors to eat here. Everything on the menu is delicious, I’ve had pretty much every dinner option. Tonight I had the halibut and was not disappointed. I tell everyone about this establishment.

I had been to Walter’s many times for brunch and would have said it was pretty good and reliable. My dinner experience was spectacular: attentive, graceful service; beautiful plating; and the dishes were rich interpretations of all time favorites. I loved the smoked trout toast, the rigatoni with peas and mint tasted fresh from a garden; and the rosemary roast chicken with mashed potatoes felt like home, if home had a CIA trained Michelin starred chef. The chocolate pot with salt was also amazing, I ate it even tho I had been full since the 3rd plate on the 5 plate family style meal. My only suggestion would be for the noise -it’s so loud and hard to hear friends at dinner because it’s a very lively space. I wore my Loop experience ear plugs and was fine. I’ll be back. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

The wagyu tartar was very well seasoned alongside the bread it was a great starter. The salad was also very good. The steak frites were delicious. On the pricey side!
Yusuf Y — Google review
I only took this one photo because the food was generally uninspiring, particularly for a semi-expensive hyped up restaurant. I can’t speak for the brunch, and their drinks are decent, but what we had off the dinner menu was truly mid. Parts of the steak was sinewy and inedible, and we ordered the au poivre sauce which was bland, too pale in color, and lacked the peppery kick that au poivre is meant to have. It ended up tasting like mid buttery mushroom gravy. Thankfully service was good and very accommodating and let us switch to the chimichurri sauce. Fries were good but they had no aioli, just mayo (which we had to ask for). The gem salad was overdressed and unrefined—felt like something you’d slap together at home. There were random big chunks of celery and fennel in it that were not cut in an enticing enough shape for a $16 salad. And the chicken pot pie lacked oomph and richness—the puff pastry crust was too flaky, as in it basically shattered and dissolved into ultra thin flakes that were unable to carry the cream sauce, and the chicken filling was also kind of bland, lacking that classic comforting celery salt flavor and mostly consisted of big chunks of mushroom. I don’t mind mushrooms in a pot pie but this was too mushroom forward, and also I prefer when there are green peas in a pot pie. Overall I’d say if you’re looking for fort green vibes and you’re happy to drink in some ambience and have mid food then you’d like it here. Plenty of people do. But for the price and what it promises we were disappointed.

Mango Lemonade was good. My fried chicken with mashed potatoes entree was actually very good - I would recommend this. Hot honey was a nice touch on the side. Steak and fries entree was extremely disappointing. We ordered it medium, yet it arrived rare. Also, the parts that were cooked were chewy, so I don't think it would've been good even if it was cooked medium. The fries looked good in the pictures, but they were ok at best. The service wasn't very present. No one came to ask us how our food was until we were done. Disappointing experience and expected more for the price.

Phenomenal burger & delicious shoestring fries! Wings were crispy and flavorful with buttermilk ranch. The Fig Side Car cocktail was strong and the right level of sweetness. 10/10

I came here for Sunday brunch with my friends. Our reservation was for 11:45 AM - by about 12:15 PM the restaurant was very busy. We sat in a comfy booth - we all loved the fried chicken & waffles. We also tried the French dip sandwich with fries - we liked it but wouldn’t order it again. We loved dipping the fries into the French dip! We indulged in mango mimosas and mango lemonades with rum. The drinks were amazing! I cannot wait to return next time I’m in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Bowl is a unique and eclectic bowling alley located in Williamsburg. It offers high-tech lanes, live music performances, and delicious food by Blue Ribbon. If you're looking for more entertainment options, you can head to Gottscheer Hall in Queens for line dancing or visit Xanadu Roller Arts in Bushwick for some roller skating fun. For a different vibe, check out the Red Pavilion, an Asian neo-noir cabaret nearby.
Great place to see a good band. Staff was nice, liquor was real and the space is unique. Saw Matteo Mancuso and his band. If you can, arrive in the area around 4 or 5 pm there will be plenty of on street parking. If you get there later youll have to park in a garage and pay to do so. Plenty of restaurants in the area. So, arrive early go eat something then go to the show.

A really awesome live venue. First time there recently and had a blast. The staff are the kindest. Providing water during the show, taking trash from people in the crowd as it was needed. Overall really cool atmosphere and I couldn't help but notice the padding they've added to the ceiling (that is cement), to help with sound and whatnot. Really well done. Highly recommend.
Meghan — Google review
The actual show was incredible. I saw Matteo Mancuso, one of my all time favorites. The venue is very cool and unique - bowling, plus a huge bar, and a stage behind the bowling lanes. I initially thought the people bowling in the background during the show would be loud and distracting, but it's not. The staff was polite, and had a decent beer selection.. dogfish head 60 minute is solid. The show was on a Wednesday, and I was first in line, so no long waiting (other than being 2.5 hours early to claim the best standing area). But totally worth it.

Honestly had a really fun time here. The lanes were solid, everything worked fine, and the vibe was chill. It got a little loud at some point, but nothing too crazy — kind of adds to the energy. We waited a bit to get our lane, but once we started, it flowed smoothly. Staff was cool, and prices were decent too. Would I come back? Yes, for sure. Great place to hang with friends, laugh a bit, and throw some strikes (or gutter balls 😅).

I'm disabled and they all totally looked out for me, and I have food allergies and the kitchen staff were great. Love to jam there, there's a great selection of beers and I think wine.

Went for a concert and had the best time. Parking is kind of a chore it’s basically 50$ as far as I could find 1-2 blocks away. It was chilly out so we stopped next door to tailgate then went early to the concert. They let us in early and we stood in the concert area. Great venue helpful staff and good basic fried food.

Fried chicken takeaway
PEEPS KITCHEN is a must-visit for those craving crispy chicken and delicious fries. Orders are made fresh, so it's recommended to call ahead, but the wait is worth it. The chicken burger and Gang Jeong chicken are highly recommended, with generous portions that can be shared among friends. The food has a homemade quality - not too greasy or salty.
Hole in the wall serving insanely good fried chicken. Truly spectacular chicken, crunchy flavorful coating, delicious sauces. The owners are also very sweet. Peeps is somewhere I will be going all the time.

I love this place. I picked up one of the combo meals and couldn’t believe how much food came with it. Definitely more than I expected! The chicken was everything I love: super crispy, flavorful, and clearly great quality. They know what they’re doing. This is now my new go to spot whenever I’m craving fried chicken. Goodbye Popeyes! The only thing I wish is that the larger combos came with a side or 2 included or a beverage, it would just round it out perfectly. But still, so worth it!
JC — Google review
Straight up the best Korean fried chicken available in Brooklyn. Amazing owners, fantastic recipe that's crispy and juicy, and now at an amazing new location. It's so popular you had the entire neighborhood pop out and show love for their new location at Scrappleland. You def need to come try their chicken 💯
Christopher — Google review
The chicken here is absolutely insane—I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I’m Korean, and honestly, this tastes even better than most chicken I’ve had back home. You can tell the oil is super clean, the batter is incredibly crispy, and the meat is so juicy inside. It’s just unbelievably delicious. I’m so grateful to have a spot like this near my workplace. You can really feel the owner’s passion for chicken, and they’re so kind too. On top of that, the price for chicken of this quality is unbelievable. I can’t believe it’s this good and this affordable. This place deserves way more recognition. Trust me and give it a try! I had the Padak chicken, fried wings, and Gang jeong, and all three were next-level. But the fried chicken especially? And make sure to get the sweet & spicy sauce on the side with the fried chicken—it’s a must. You can either pick up your order or eat it out front on the benches since there aren’t any tables inside. Also, keep in mind that because everything is made with such care, it takes about 20 minutes for the chicken to come out. Totally worth the wait—enjoy!
Alal A — Google review
Crispy crunchy chicken. It literally tastes as good as it looks. This place consistently makes great fried chicken. It’s well seasoned, the meat is still juicy, and it’s still crunchy even after bringing it home. We eat here religiously once a week! Highly recommend the padak chicken and the drumsticks!
Junnie W — Google review
The chicken was so crispy and juicy!! Each wing/drum was also decently big that it was so worth! I'm getting hungry looking at the photo again TT Owners were also super friendly!

Amazing addition to Scrappleland. Being that I don’t drink alcohol, I was excited to see food being added to this location. The cashier answered all my questions about the food, and was able to describe everything in a great detail that let me know what to expect from what I was ordering. Food was AMAZING. I’ve never had chicken this crunchy, and the sauce that they were smothered in was sweet but had a slight underlying smoky kick to it. The seasoned fries are some of the best fries I’ve had in the neighborhood. This will be a staple in my rotation of late night eats in the neighborhood.
Markanthony F — Google review
We got the gang jeong and regular fried chicken (thighs), brought it home and had it with rice and kimchi. Both were extremely delicious. The thighs were juicy and tender. You need to eat it hot out of the fryer - it’s takeout only so pick up is the best option. Order in advance because the food is made to order and they get busy on weekends!

Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, Madame Vo is a delightful haven for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. This casual eatery specializes in long-simmered pho and an array of rice and noodle dishes, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The star attraction here is undoubtedly the madame pho, renowned for its rich aroma and warming spices that tantalize your taste buds.
Came here for lunch with a friend and was very much delighted! I ordered the vermicelli noodle bowl with spicy lemongrass beef which was delicious in every bite. A great balance of tender meat, the sour and savory flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. The servers also tended to our table just the right amount (clearly were there without being overbearing). A good spot for a reasonably priced lunch without breaking the bank!

Have been here for lunch and dinner. It gets busy during dinner time. Service was good and fast. Ive seen them explain to people how to eat certain dishes if they've never eaten it before, which is great because they want their customers to experience and enjoy the food. Favorite dishes is the Bahn Xeo and Tet noodles. The banh xeo is so refreshing to have as a starter. Perfect bite of freshness from the mint, pickeled carrots and veggies along with the seafood. The tet noodles buttery, garlic, and savory.

Had an amazing first visit with friends! We ordered an appetizer and two dishes to share. Loved the Garlic Noodles and Mama Ly's Fried Rice! I also ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee to go and really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again!

Madame Vo is a decent Vietnamese restaurant. The pho wasn’t that great—I’ve had better at other spots—but the oxtail fried rice was absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. For that dish alone, I think it’s worth a visit.
Aleli N — Google review
Got the lemongrass beef bowl! They were able to sub noodles with rice and take out the spice! The nuoc cham was indeed a bit stickier and sweeter than most, almost like sweet chili sauce. My friend really enjoyed the pho!
Judy — Google review
Madame Vo has a great vibe — cozy, lively, and beautifully designed. The pho broth was flavorful and aromatic, and the short rib pho in particular was rich and satisfying. You can tell they care about presentation and quality. That said, it does feel a bit pricey for the portion size, and the flavors leaned slightly on the sweet side for my taste. Still, it’s a solid spot for comforting Vietnamese food in the city with great service and a fun energy.

This place was a great surprise for us. Probably the best Vietnamese food I ate all year. The tastes were really authentic, gentle and yet forceful. We had the spring roll, the papaya-shrimp salad and the crepe for appetizers and two pho and garlic noodles for entree. Everything was tasty and recommended. The service was exceptional, the food came in minutes!
Danit T — Google review
Ordered Pho and crepe. Pho was absolutely delish, although still does not beat my favorite. The crepe was ok. The price is understandably a little higher because of the location I guess. Came here for a 3:15 pm reservation, at exactly 3:15, was told to order right away as the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. Felt a little rushed, my mistake for booking the last available spot before closing. Although we were allowed to stay and finish our food past 4 pm, but it was very weird that all the servers and kitchen staff are out and on their break. Lesson learned, don’t book the 3:15 spot. Or even the 3:00 pm spot.

Bonnie's Grill is a popular diner in Park Slope known for its lineup of short-order dishes, including burgers, wings, and salads. The highlight of the menu is the Buffalo or BBQ chicken wings, which are cooked to perfection and served with celery, carrots, and blue cheese dressing. The small but cozy space offers about 6 tables where you can watch the skilled cooks prepare your food. Customers rave about the delicious Garfield dog and create-your-own burger options.
My family and I have been consistent customers at Bonnie's over my whole life. I stand by this, they are the best burgers in NYC. Today was perfectly cooked, roasted and crispy on the outside but juicy and medium rare on the inside. The music, the old school diner vibe, and the great service. All comes together very well.

Was in the neighborhood and wanted to see who had the best burgers. Bonnie’s pop up as on of the good ones in the area, so the family and I stopped in for a bite. It was very chill atmosphere the waitress was nice and sat us right away. Very chill vibe. Love a good diner vibe. The menu was short and to the point. In order the western burger and some wings. The burger was huge but it was really delicious, I was surprised I finished it all. I thought the wings were ok. I’m a wing fanatic so when I saw previous review hyping the wings in was sold. Flavor on the wings were good. Just wish they were fried a little bit more. But my experience here was great!

I came for a filling lunch. When I got there nobody else was there. I was greeted by an enthusiastic server and got seats in the back. The decor was very nice to look at, as it was made of funny illustrations and album covers. The bathroom was very clean and big. The server told us some recommendations and was very clear. I ordered a hotdog with buffalo sauce and fries. I also got a s'mores milkshake on the side. My companion got a burger and onion rings. The milkshake was amazing, the hotdog was tender, and the fries were crunchy. A super great lunch spot. I definitely will definitely come again. Go Bills!🏈🦬

I honestly don't even know how this was my first time at Bonnie's Grill. I live right in the neighborhood my whole life and have never been until now. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff. As soon as you walk in, you get the vibes of an old school diner. For appetizer, we ordered bbq and mild wings. Wings were delicious. Nice and crispy with just the right amount of sauce on it. For our main entree, we ordered the breakfast burger, which has bacon, over easy egg, and American cheese. Burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and a descent size. The egg was cooked to perfection, and the bacon was nice and crispy. We ordered cheese fries. Those were delicious, too. I was too full to order any dessert or milkshake. We will definitely be coming back to try to dessert and some other options from the menu. I recommend trying the wings and burgers from this place. This is a nice little hidden gem serving up delicious, good quality food.

Totally recommended 10/10. The best crispy and delicious wings we have ever eaten, accompanied by their homemade sauce, only found in this place, a variety of cold beer, the service was spectacular, everyone is super friendly, it is a phenomenal environment, the whole family is welcome including children, we will definitely return.

Will be back to try the burger and onion rings.

The Four Horsemen is a trendy wine bar and restaurant in Brooklyn, co-owned by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Since its opening in 2015, it has become a favorite spot for natural-wine enthusiasts. The bar offers a laidback yet elegant atmosphere with a diverse selection of 250 natural and biodynamic wines. Guests can enjoy small plates created by an experienced chef while listening to a genre-blurring soundtrack curated by the former LCD Soundsystem frontman.
Tiny spot known for his extensive wine list and ever-changing (short) menu. We started with the bread and clams which pairs perfectly together - thanks to the suggestion of our waitress. Next we had the green tomatoes dish which was our favorite by far as it was packed with so much flavor and seasoned to perfection. We finished with the Golden Rice topped with Uni which was delicious as well. Highly recommend this Michelin star spot for a date night! *Resys are a must unless you get there right at 5pm and get a bar or window seat
Maria — Google review
This restaurant is overrated, and I honestly don’t understand how it has held a Michelin star for several years. It’s definitely not worth the price. The portions are tiny, the flavors were either far too salty or overly acidic. Despite spending over $200 for just five dishes for 3 people , none of us left feeling satisfied. On top of that, getting a reservation here is unnecessarily difficult. For the same price, we had a much better experience at Theodora, which doesn’t even have a Michelin star but served food that was both delicious and filling. Save your time and money—skip this place and go somewhere else.
Sally N — Google review
One of my favorite meals in NYC this year. Every dish was a dream. We ordered the oeuf, green tomatoes, fennel salad, tartare, mushroom toast and rainbow trout. Latter two were our favorites. The passion fruit tart dessert was magical. The best part? The wildly inventive wine list that paired perfectly with every bite. Service was great and homey, intimate setting was wonderful. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
Jack B — Google review
I enjoyed Four Horsemen, but it didn't blow my mind for the price. If I went again, I'd stick to the small plates so I could try more things. The chicken was good, but not great and it was huge. Their menu changes on a regular basis, so you can't be sure what you're going to get. Nothing I had was bad. Wagyu crostini and harimasa (not pictured) were my favorites. I arrived at 10:45am, and waited for them to open at 11. A line formed quickly, and it's a slow process for them to seat everyone in their tiny space. If you can't get a reservation, show up as early as you can.
Meredith O — Google review
The four horsemen has to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve been to this year. Everything was exquisite from the presentation to the music. But all the credit has to go to our Bartender Will; his knowledge of wine and bitters and amaro is renowned with some of the best in the game. Sit at the bar and thank me later
Marvin F — Google review
Michelin star wine bar? Yes pls! But people come here for the food. Impossible to snag a resy but worth waiting for a walk in spot at lunch or before dinner service. Vibe cozy and cute. Food was amazing! Small menu but basically every dish was a hit. Also the wine selection was well curated. Verdict: recommend and will return!!
Patrick K — Google review
The Four Horsemen - finally 😊 My husband and I have been devoted LCD Soundsystem fans for years, so the fact that James Murphy co-founded this place has always made it feel like a small dream waiting to happen. We’d been postponing it for weeks, as life has a way of reshuffling plans, but this time my husband said, 'This is your birthday and that’s it. We’re going.' I agreed ;) The restaurant itself is small, understated, and effortlessly elegant. The interior has that kind of simple chic that feels authentic: warm wood, soft light, no pretense. We didn’t have a reservation but decided to take a chance, and after waiting about thirty minutes, we got a table right after 5:20 pm The menu is tiny, almost minimalist, but every dish feels deeply considered. We weren’t too hungry, so we ordered a few small plates and a bottle of wine, saving room for dessert and hoping for a candle later. And the food… oh, the food. I’m not sure words can do it justice. Every bite was a perfect balance of acid, sweetness, and texture. I’m from wine and vinegar country, so I truly appreciate the taste of acidity and here, I finally found a place in New York that speaks to my palate. Their flavors don’t fade the moment you swallow; they linger, evolve, and make you think. I couldn’t help but notice almost everyone around us was ordering their famous warm bread, it looked absolutely divine. But since I bake my own bread at home and had already had a fresh loaf that morning, we decided to skip it this time. Still, it clearly seemed to be the must of the evening, and I’ll definitely try it on our next visit. The wine list is impressive. We chose a French white that was absolutely balanced, bright, and beautifully alive (and no headache after!). And the desserts… I’m still dreaming about the passionfruit cake, so light, tangy, and joyful. I was especially happy that nobody from the staff sang 'Happy Birthday.' ❤️ As for the staff, 'perfect' doesn’t even begin to describe their service. They have that rare ability to make you feel both taken care of and completely at ease. The atmosphere, the music, the people, the vibe: 10 out of 10, or maybe 100 out of 100. To Be Continued :))
Delphica S — Google review
Interestingly enough, my personal favorites were the smaller dishes rather than the larger ones. Notably, the oeuf mayonnaise and the warm house bread (the butter especially) were great. Otherwise, everything else was fine although nothing too particularly memorable. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The vibes are lively but also serene, which I like.

My friend and I ordered the same food and we were charged two different prices! Then staff pretended they didn’t understand English when I addressed the discrepancy. Plate residue which transferred to the food and on top of that, the food was salty! Ordered Corn and chicken soup….. creamed corn bland chicken, no seasoning! Who puts tomatoes in sweet and sour? I’m convinced they pay people on social media to promote them meanwhile their food is bad!

Missed the chino Latino spots common in Brooklyn that are now extinct so gave this spot a try. The camarones enchilados were good (could’ve had a little more spice and wish the veggies were cut thinner). Pork fried rice was good too. The chicharrón pollo tasted good but it wasn’t chicharrón pollo. It was just fried chicken. Tasted like the one I remember from back in the day but texture wise, it was off. Would definitely come back and try their other dishes. The ribs I saw someone else eating looked delicious

We visited after watching a show on Broadway. It was around 5pm. We did not have a reservation and they shared all the tables were full. We were offered a seat at the bar. It was cozy, and the bartender and servers were kind. They provided good recommendations and followed up with us throughout our time there. We ordered the coconut shrimp to shared and the oxtail dish. We got the bread pudding as recommended. Everything was delish!

Jasmine’s Caribbean cuisine is my favorite spot to taste the unique and robust flavors of the Caribbean. I’ve tried oxtail for the first time and it was so tasty. I particularly liked the curry chicken and their coconut rice! The hospitality is unmatched and the vibe is energetic. This is an absolute must visit for an amazing time!
Sammi C — Google review
Jasmine’s ambiance was super cute and inviting! However, I was a bit disappointed with the food—it didn’t quite live up to the hype from the reviews. The service was fine, and the curry chicken was actually really good. My dish was vegan, but the menu only listed it as “vegetables.” I believe it should clearly label what vegetables are included. Unfortunately, my meal came with a lot of corn, which I’m allergic to, and I ended up feeling sick later. I didn’t send my food back because I generally avoid doing that restaurants can sometimes take offense but it did affect my experience. On a positive note, the music and overall vibe were great! Jasmine’s has so much potential to be a superb restaurant, but I’d love to see more thoughtful and well-prepared vegan options. Also, the calamari came out in small bits and pieces instead of whole rings, which was surprising.

I got the chance to try this restaurant for lunch! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into the cutest restaurant! We sat and were served by Sal and he was great! We had: Rum Punch Codfish Fritters Peppa Shrimp Mac and cheese and callaloo Oxtail Stewed Chicken Carrot cake Velvet Cake The food was delicious and I loved the stewed chicken the most! The pepper Shrimp was spicy! All in all, it was a good time!

Satisfied doesn’t even begin to cover it 👌🏾✨ I’d been hearing the hype about this place and had to see for myself while I was in town. I had the honor of meeting the owner (Chef Basil Jones, super cool convo 🙌🏾), devoured some Rasta Pasta with Oxtail 😍, and soaked in the vibes. Great food, great drinks, great people—10/10 recommend!”

Great- tasting Caribbean food! Sumptuous portions too. We got the Caribbean Salad with a zesty orange vinaigrette dressing. And Jerk Chicken with coconut rice & peas. Excellently spiced chicken chunks. Also got the Island Gyal cocktail & Sorrel.

It was like going uptown only to find a neighborhood restaurant. Small and cozy. The service was wonderful. Staff friendly and courteous. The food came right away. Even before the drinks, which by the way, did not disappoint. Cool glasses of iced water were replenished without asking. The atmosphere (close seating) was warm and inviting. The music was soft and had me bobbing my head to the melodies. But the expense, be prepared. Look at the menu before you go. Although tasty, wow! Definitely Manhattan prices. We ordered the Oxtail w/Jasmine Rice, broccoli and carrots. A side order of plantains. Stewed Chicken w/rice and veggies. Two drinks, tax and gratuity $130. Although, I enjoyed the experience, mostly because of the company. I probably will not return.

George's is a classic NYC diner that offers American, Greek, and Italian menu items for dine-in or delivery. The environment is great and rarely crowded, making it an incredible place to enjoy no-frills dining. The staff is incredibly kind and provides quick service. While the prices are on the expensive side for diner food, the extensive menu offers traditional New York style breakfast with tasty and generous portions at reasonable prices.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert—no matter the time of day, this is by far one of the best diners in Brooklyn. I’m a regular and truly appreciate the homemade food and the warm, welcoming service from the wonderful owners and staff. The place is always clean, the service is great, and everyone is incredibly kind. I highly recommend this diner to anyone. Thank you for staying open!

The way an old school diner should be. Quick and great tasting. You can’t go wrong with any option here. My 18 month old son loves the fruit and looks forward to eating there as often as we can.

This place... 🙄😮‍💨.. just underwhelming and overpriced.. especially for wat they brought to my table... had to get fries just to get full.. I'm not interested 🤷🏾‍♂️ BUT if u want basic... simple rather... cause of ur children or ur diet... stop in.

Fast friendly service, lots to choose from on the menu, tasty and filling. It’s a great diner.

YOU MUST GO HERE! We visited from the uk and stayed in Brooklyn for three days and some locales recommended George’s. We loved it so much that we went for breakfast on all three mornings of our visit. It is always busy and sometimes you have to wait for a table (especially at the weekends). It it is well worth it. The menu is extensive with traditional New York style breakfast, the food is tasty, portions are massive and the prices is very reasonable. However the places biggest asset is the staff, extremely friendly and accommodating. I cannot rate George’s highly enough!

Trad Room is a charming restaurant and bar in Brooklyn that offers traditional Japanese cuisine in a cozy brick-walled dining room. The interior is beautifully designed with a mix of woodwork, glass, and leather, creating a modern yet inviting atmosphere. The menu features delicious dishes like oysters, fried chicken, carpaccio, and the must-try Trad Room rolls.
Great spot! Checked it out with my friend yesterday and we both loved it! Cocktails were on point - interesting, well balanced, and of course, tasty! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. They have a cool looking enclosed outdoor space also. We did try some appetizers and we loved the crispy tuna but the other 2 we tried were just ok. We're definitely coming back to try more! A new fave!

The atmosphere was more snug than I would've liked but the good made up for it. Everything was great, we got the traditional Sushi platter and it all tasted fresh. I don't generally like Brussel sprouts but they were good especially because it has some sauce on them. The soft shell crab bao buns were delicious. I highly recommend those and the chicken karaage. My son had the burger and it looked really good but the fries were even better. They reminded me of sour cream and onion flavored chips but fries instead. It's always good when you can have fries that you don't need to put ketchup on. Loved it here. We sat in the back room so the tables were too close for my liking. There were two ladies sitting close by and one of them wouldn't stop cursing so loudly. Other than that it was a great experience. My wife and kids said that there's squeezed lemonade was some of the best they've had at a restaurant.

One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. Born and raised in NYC, worked in the industry for almost 20 years and this place is phenomenal. Prawns were cooked perfectly and had immaculate sauce. Soft shell crabs are another hit. Spicy tuna is perfect. And the wagyu was tender and juicy, absolutely superb, more than enough for two. The host was very accommodating for a last minute table. My server was Alexandra, a master of her vocation.

I don’t even know where to begin. I tried Trad Room for the first time this past weekend and my mind and body WERE NOT prepared. I left the restaurant feeling the pain of not living in NYC so strongly after because I can’t go here as often as I really really want to. We went during brunch, so I can’t even imagine how insane their regular menu is. Just top notch all around.

The A5 Wagyu Cocktail was probably the best drink I’ve had. The food is insanely good. In our short trip to NY, we visited the Trad Room twice and both times were amazing. Only thing that could be done better (and should be) was the potato pave ;)

Happy Friday, After caring for some street trees today, my friend and I decided to patronize this business. It was not busy at all and fully staffed, but unfortunately, the hospitality was lacking. The only bright spots were my servers, Jaz and Justin, who both acknowledged us and made us feel welcome. Justin, who just started his shift, even took a moment to check in with us after we finished. We sat in the back and noticed the owner and a newborn baby were right next to us. It seemed like they were testing new menu items, as the chef came upstairs with a Tupperware of meat choices. The owner even walked off leaving the baby unattended, then returned later. As a business owner, especially when offering a tasting menu while patrons are dining, a simple greeting or a smile would go a long way. It felt like the business thought they could just come into the community and operate without being hospitable. I will say the food was good, but I’d much rather have mediocre food with excellent service any day. And to add insult to injury, they charge a 3% fee for credit card payments. Ramen was great, but the service left a lot to be desired. Justin and Jaz, you are the true rock stars. I can get good ramen anywhere, but genuine hospitality makes all the difference.

Love this food, the design, vibe and service. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Recommend the tahini Cesar, spicy tuna rolls, cold ramen, Northwest oysters and the soft shell crab Bao! Can’t wait to return!
Bil M — Google review
*Sigh* I really enjoyed my food, but I did not enjoy how I was treated by the waiter. She treated my partner way better than she treated me, which was unfortunate and odd to say the least. We decided to go to a spot that will accommodate both of our taste buds. He wanted sushi and Ramen and normally I would want the same but with me being on my cycle, I wanted a burger and some fries. So we decided to go to a spot, that accommodated both, which was great that Trad Room has that! When I ordered my burger and fries, the server made an odd face and said “oh people usually come here for the sushi” …. OK that’s nice. can I please just have a burger with fries?” (We purposely looked at the menu and went there knowing what I wanted. So why am I being scolded for wanting a burger?) I told her how I wanted my burger to be cooked and here she goes again, making more faces and says “you don’t want it medium well? you should get a medium well. It’s going to take longer if you get it that way” I understand that it may be frowned upon to get red meat well done, I get it. But that’s what how I wanted my burger to be cooked. What is the big deal man? I politely asked her “Can I please have my burger cooked the way that I asked?” This is the second time she is trying to convince me to order what I did not ask for. It was odd to me because I’ve never had a server act like this before. When I asked about the house wines, she told me about the one that was available and also mentioned that it wasnt necessarily her favorite. I said OK I wouldn’t get that one then. My partner and I continued to look at the menu and then he asked for Prosecco & I agreed I’ll have the same. I’ll assume she didn’t hear, but she only offered it to him and walked away and didn’t even bother to offer it to me. Nonetheless, my burger was great and so are the fries! Shout out to the chef! My partners spicy salmon, sushi rolls were really great he said. And he absolutely loved his Dan Dan Ramen. He did say the waygu beef he got included was cold. But the ramen was hot! He was talking about the ramen all night so nonetheless he loved it. We’ll definitely be back, especially since it’s close to home, but I just hope I don’t experience what I experienced with the waiter ever again. The space is much bigger than you expected, and they also have outdoor dining in the back. All the other staff were great. So I definitely recommend this space the next time I go. I just hope I have a different server.

Pelicana Chicken is a laid-back destination known for its specialty in fried chicken, burgers, and familiar Korean bites. The Korean fried chicken is described as crispy, crunchy, juicy, and moist with an atmosphere reminiscent of the pochas in Seoul. Customers have enjoyed the garlic wings and shake fries for their finger-licking goodness and unique flavors. The serving size is generous, and the food comes out fresh and hot.
Has a great drinking deal if you dine-in. Service is always nice and courteous. Love the spicy calamari. Very crispy and the heat is a spicy creeper which I enjoy. Only order if you can handle spicy, otherwise regular calamari is a nice light crispy treat. Comfy booths to sit at and there’s a hook on the table to hold your bag

Food should be better than now. It was good before but it's not what it used to be. The server was very polite but only one person was serving the entire business and I saw his supervisor not working at all, which was very disappointing.

The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside — perfectly done and not greasy. The hot pot had a rich, spicy broth with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Everything was well-seasoned and served hot. Great balance in taste and texture.

I've gone to a lot of places in queens even before I moved here but this place is best! BEST! Everytime I leave queens for work, whenever I come back from travel I MUST come here. The food, the atmosphere, THE MANNERS especially. You cannot find better staff that respect your time and show you the best service anywhere. I've been served by both nepali boys and both korean boys many times and all have served me and my wife with so much respect. My wife loves it here. I had seen them working so hard and felt I needed to leave a review for the boss and for them to know they are appreciated. I always order the fried rices and french fries. KIMCHI FRIED RICE IS BEST!!!! ALWAYS cooked the best way!! BEST BEST FOOD OF SUNNYSIDE RIGHT HERE! HERE SPICY IS SPICYYY!

I hadn't had korean fried chicken in a while and this was truly a treat! The serving was large and came fresh and hot. They were so crunchy! The chicken was very flavorful. I also order onion rings which I usually hate and again, it was so crispy and flavored. The wait was a little long but I was not disappointed. I also order Bugoli and that was just okay. It was much sweeter than the bulgogi's I have come to expect. This place is worth visiting. Take friends and family.

The food was decent. I got their collab meal and it was a lot of food. The chicken was good and it was crunchy. The only issue I had was that they gave very little fries and their sauces did not have much flavor. The staff were very nice and the environment was pleasant to be in.

Love this local joint. They have deliciously juicy Korean fried chicken. The sauces are a mix of spicy and non spicy and their signature is perfect in spice and thickness. Kimchi fried rice and truffle fries were also good. Friendly service too.

Soul food restaurant
Cornbread Brooklyn is a popular counter-serve restaurant known for its delicious soul food staples like fried chicken, catfish, and BBQ ribs. The airy and spacious setting makes it a great spot to gather with friends for dinner. While the wait times for ordering can be long at peak hours, the efficient and friendly customer service makes up for it. The food is described as piping hot and mouthwatering, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy.
Server John recommended the catfish and it did not disappoint. John was welcoming and friendly. It was crispy with a light batter— moist in the center and fried perfectly. Unfortunately, they ran out of cornbread so I was given an extra side. Potato salad and Mac and cheese were both heavenly. Everything was well seasoned and I loved the flavors. Generous portions. Very spacious and clean inside.

Came to brunch with my sister. The catfish was off the chain. The collards was perfect the yams were delicious the Mac and cheese scrupcious even the cabbage was great you must drink the southern twang. The staff was a part of my good journey ebraced me with smiles and a great time. Worth every penny.....

I was really disappointed with my experience at Cornbread. I decided on the take out option. The decor and dining were really nice but The food overall was bland and lacked the rich flavor you’d expect from soul food. The fish was soggy and while the greens were edible, they didn’t have much seasoning. The only standout was the mac and cheese — it was cheesy, creamy, and had a nice bit of seasoning. Unfortunately, for the price I paid, I expected much better quality and flavor.

I had a wonderful experience at Cornbread Brooklyn! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service truly stood out, my server, Casey, was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout my meal. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, and Casey did exactly that. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy great soul food. I highly recommend Cornbread Brooklyn to anyone looking for not only amazing food but also outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was at work during lunchtime, and I wasn't quite sure what to eat near my job. I asked my sister, 'Hey, what should I eat?' I decided to check Uber Eats for something different. She asked, 'Do you want some soul food?' and I said yes. She recommended trying cornbread, so I gave it a shot, and I was hooked! I told myself I had to visit cornbread in person to see the atmosphere and experience the real hype. When I finally went to cornbread, I was so happy—everything was delicious! The environment was warm and inviting, and the music, a soulful mix of R&B and oldies, really set the mood. Kizzy, the young lady taking my order, was so friendly and delightful. This place truly has a cozy, family vibe, and I definitely look forward to going back a few more times. Let me not forget to mention that they have options you can eat inside or outside

I just couldn't pull the trigger and give it 4 stars because the customer service is so bad .but the food is amazing especially the fried chicken. The collard greens and sweet potatoes. Potatoe salad great .but walking into the restaurant if you ever eaten here before will make you weak in the knees nervous because you just don't want problems and if you had a pleasant day you don't want it ruined. There are two doors if you walk in the one near the cashier you are correct but if you walk in near the corner you will enter a dining room and if you sit down waiting to be served or get information you'll be waiting a long time. you can walk up to the cashier and pray for a smile or a welcome ! order first and if you want to eat in they will take your name and you get up to get your delicious food. There is a waitress but I believe its for if you want extras. If you decide to take out its the same process but instead of seating down you leave through the dining room door.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant East Village, Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken is a must-visit for fried chicken enthusiasts. This fast-casual eatery, brought to life by the Bromberg brothers of Blue Ribbon Sushi fame, offers an impressive array of fried chicken options. From classic bone-in pieces to creative bites and sandwiches, there's something for everyone. The signature matzo meal-crusted chicken is seasoned with a blend of spices and can be enhanced with various toppings like honey or hot sauce.
My daughter and I split one chicken breast which was absolutely gigantic - a downright Chickenzilla. It was absolutely delicious and more than enough for the two of us, without any sides. The place was clean and I liked the amenities. But what really stood out was Sharon - super friendly woman who took our order and asked if we liked the chicken afterwards. In a city where you kind of expect people to snap at you or be gruff, what a delightful change to be served by such a nice woman!
Betsy D — Google review
Chicken was good, hot and fresh. The fries were an afterthought. Fries must have been cooked and been sitting for some time under a hot lamp because they just weren’t fresh and it was easy to taste. Very little human interaction inside the store, you order at a kiosk. Overall, I would eat the chicken again but instead of fries as a side I’d go with Mac and cheese.
Tyrone P — Google review
People there are very nice and chicken tenders are great - Mac & cheese is ok and coleslaw is pretty small! Sauces could be better and paid +$20 for a single person meal - they need to make spicy tenders They hired well with the people and portions are good but some improvements needed to details

Was not in the mood to cook on Sunday. Just wanted to enjoy great food, and watch a game of football! It was suggested I try Blue Ribbon, passed by many times. Figured it was now or never. The order included a hot & sweet chicken sandwich which I was told by a relative was good. The vanilla milkshake was blah, would not order again. Tender supreme was okay. The Mac & Cheese features smoked Gouda cheese which is okay, not something I would run to order again. The 4 piece chicken, was split between 2 people. The chicken was good, crispy, and the biscuits are okay. Ordered the $1 wings they were okay, mine were soggy.. Special thanks to Dulce for making the visit special, a real gem to the restaurant, and customers. It's worth giving a try. Tip: If you want crispy wings order with the sauce on the side, especially if it's a take out order. Otherwise your wings will be soggy!
World V — Google review
Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken offers a satisfying and flavorful experience for fried chicken lovers. I tried their fried chicken sandwich, and it came in a simple yet eco-friendly container. The sandwich featured a perfectly crispy chicken filet with a juicy interior, tucked into a soft, slightly sweet bun. The seasoning was bold but not overpowering, and the sauce added a creamy, tangy kick that paired well with the crunchy pickles underneath. While the presentation was casual, the taste delivered a gourmet punch. It’s a great spot for a quick, indulgent bite in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth trying if you’re craving quality fried chicken.
Samia — Google review
Experience here was decent but a few misses that couldn't be ignored but I'll get to that gradually. Coming up here, I could easily smell the chicken being prepared from this establishment and it had me eager to enter the establishment. The moment I came in I was greeted by the woman behind the ordering section so service is definitely a high mark for she was very accommodating with me setting up my order. Wait time wasn't overly long, I'd say about 7 minutes it took for my food to reach the table. I ordered the Tender Supreme Combo which came with fries, Cole slaw and a drink and a chicken Smashburger. I went with the chicken burger first and I know these can be an acquired taste but I can safely say I truly acquired how good that burger was. Compliments to the chef. Now onto the combo. The shoestring fries they had, not bad but I've certainly had better and they put a lot of them on my plate, I didn't care much to finish it all. I didn't touch the cole slaw because I've never been a fan of it so that leaves the tenders which were sublime! Just incredible. The sides here maybe average but the chicken is definitely solid, tender and juicy with the right amount of breading, wish I could say the same for the Chipotle Honey dip I chose with it. It wasn't terrible but jt didn't mesh well with the tenders, I prolly should've went with ranch. They also have a selection of their own kinds of fountain drinks. I tried out the creme sods and it was also very good. I've always been a fan of original drinks as opposed to the regular stuff that they easily could've had so the fact they went this extra mile for their drinks is great. As for the place in general, it's pretty big. Not enormous but plenty enough of seating and it wasn't too crowded so I was able to eat in with comfort.

When the chicken is so good I look up the history and the story of the Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken owners and there formula. This was our 2nd visit in a week. My visiting SC Aunt really enjoyed her Greek Salad. She talked how fresh her lettuce was and the dressing was tasty I ordered me a salad on our 2nd trip. I went with Ceasar Salad my next visit I will get a side of Vinaigrette to mix with my ceasar. We both went with Chicken Breast & wing combo and skinny french fries. And we took our leftover home to go and I air fried warmed our food and we both bust it down.

The Dutch in SoHo offers a lively and modern space serving regional American fare, including oysters and much-hyped fried chicken. The diverse menu reflects various eating habits with homages to Chinatown, the barrio, Little Italy, and midtown. The restaurant's cozy warren of intimate rooms features brass fixtures, cream brick walls, and dark wooden beams.
A neighborhood vibe with fantastic service and great food. Carmellini has put together a menu with something for everyone even if you are looking for a suprise. Great bar scene, perfect for people watching and reliably the place we go to with our grown children or out of town guests. Chicken was delicious, pasta was fantastic. Desserts were new to us and the chocolate pudding (it might be something else but its pudding at its best) and the real winner was the apple dessert. Go figure.

We came to the Dutch last night and had a tasty, enjoyable dinner. It was lovely evening out, so we chose to dine outside. It’s on the sidewalk with a lot of foot traffic, which was fine except for the occasional smell of smoke. Also, a bug flew into my rosé, but the server kindly replaced it and gave me a coaster to cover it. For food, we ordered the following for 2 to share: - The Prince Platter - Chinatown Calamari - Lemon Roasted Cod - Potato Purée The Prince Platter was nicely presented with oysters (4 kinds x3 each), jumbo shrimp (4 pieces) and lobster salad. I especially like the jumbo shrimp, which were fresh and very plump. The Chinatown Calamari was more like a calamari salad, with cucumbers, carrots and bean sprouts. The calamari was lightly breaded and perfectly fried, which I loved. We didn’t try the famous fried chicken, but will have to next time. The Lemon Roasted Cod was a nice, colorful dish and the Potato Puree is a must try for any creamy mashed potato lovers. Our server was attentive and it was a great meal overall. It looked cozy inside, too, especially for winter months or when it’s too hot to dine outside.

A solid brunch option - not the most unique menu but both plates we ordered tasted good and ok value. Fried chicken was tender and juicy, biscuits were fluffy, and the soft scrambled eggs were the perfect texture. Service was very efficient. Personally found the interior a little cramped and dark for brunch, but I think it fits the vibe.

Had lunch with my family here in late summer and decided to come based on reviews. Very charming atmosphere and decor. Was seated immediately by staff altough they were a bit too casual in their attitude, almost like they didn't care we were there but it was just a faint feeling nothing deterring. The server was attentive as well. I had a very nice coffee but unfortunately it was served cold. I was desperate for coffee so didn't complain. we got the fried chicken with biscuits and that was yummy. The goat cheese with beets salad was phenominal. the deviled eggs were also good but a bit too strong flavoring. But beautiful presentation all around. I would definitely return here next time Im in town. The food was good. To be honest, it was the decor and ambiance that really made the experienc top notch for me. And also free matches which you never see in restaurants anymore.

Wow! I love this place. The atmosphere was charming, the energy was electric, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The food was out of this world. We got the duck meatloaf, and some of the best fried chicken. I absolutely loved the elevated, modern twist. They took on classic food. To top it all off, the dirty martini was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Taiwanese restaurant
Yumpling is a compact counter-serve cafe that offers made-to-order Taiwanese comfort food and bubble tea. It's part of a diverse culinary scene, with options like Singaporean cuisine at Native Noodles, Ethiopian takeout at Makina Cafe, and Filipino-inspired tacos at Little Chef Little Cafe. At the JACX&CO food hall, you can find everything from handrolls to thin-crust pizza.
My first time at this restaurant and I am impressed. I ordered the 8 piece popcorn chicken and a side of garlicy cucumbers 🥒 Both dishes were excellent. The popcorn chicken was perfectly fried. It was tender. The garlic cucumbers were very good. Not too much garlic. Perfect blend. I will definitely visit again and recommend this spot!

Yumpling is one of the more authentic Taiwanese restaurants that I've been to in NYC, and I do like to stop by for a nice meal whenever I'm in the area. The restaurant itself is a bit small and doesn't have the most seats, but the counter service and food prep is pretty quick, and table turnover is correspondingly quick, too. I usually order one of the bian dangs here -- I was admittedly a bit put off by the DIY nature thereof haha but got over that. I really like their fried pork chop (classic Taiwanese bento) -- nicely fried without being too salty or soggy -- and I almost always opt for the lotus roots for the veggie side (really crunchy and delicious). The braised egg was a particular highlight :) I've also had the lu rou fan before (another Taiwanese classic) and while it was fine, I did find it to be a bit salty/oily, esp as you get to the bottom of the rice. Price point is a bit high, but not too crazy for the neighbourhood/NYC in general. I also have seen them post some (maybe seasonal) shaved-ice-esque desserts (which look pretty authentic haha) that I'd love to try sometime!

Authentic Taiwanese food! Had to have their popcorn chicken! So juicy and crispy. Their beef noodle soup is also pretty delicious. Very generous portion of beef. Mango shaved ice is good. Probably the classic Taiwanese flavor is better. Small shop with several tables to sit down and eat. Very friendly service and quick food delivery.

Definitely coming back here again! The service is very fast, the place is very clean, and the food was delicious and filling. They put cilantro in the beef noodle soup and the pork & chive dumpling which made them so flavorful. I probably wouldn't get the dumplings again because they're pricey, but the noodles were decently priced.
JaeHee K — Google review
I would highly recommend the shoestring fries if you're a fan of thin, crispy fries. I liked the crispness of it and still had some potato on the inside. Wouldn't go during lunch time rush, unless you have at least 25 minutes to wait. I like to ensure premium crispiness, so I removed the chicken right after I got it to prevent sogginess. Lightly seasoned, which might be bland to some, but I would order again.
Jen K — Google review
Tried “Yumpling trio” $19.75 to try all of the dumplings (chicken, pork and vegetable). Also got “Taiwanese popcorn chicken” $13.00 (for 8 pieces) and it was amazing, no sauce needed, juice and great flavor! The place was quite busy, when we arrived, so dining in might be difficult; they have 7 tables and 6 of them were taken when I arrived.
Ekaterina S — Google review
Great food and portion. Got the pork chop and loved it. Slightly salty on the veggies/condiments, but wasn’t too bad. Pretty close to what you can get in Taiwan.
Natonion — Google review
Wouldn’t go back for the dumplings but would return for that whopper of a chicken sandwich. What a surprise that was! Dumplings: meh Spicy chicken sandwich: yay! The dumplings were fine but pricey and didn’t hit the mark on a traditional dumpling I was hoping for. They’re served in an odd sauce bath, the chili oil (the we had to pay extra for) is bizarrely sweet, and the filling is a bit dense (maybe the meat:veggie balance was off). In the end we made our own dumpling sauce at home (including “normal” chili oil). The tray of dumplings in this photo was $20 - $23 with tax and a cup of chili oil. Would recommend ditching the sauce bath and upgrading the dipping sauce provided, or offering a sauce bar that customers could use to make their own sauce. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

La Villa Restaurant is a top-notch dining spot known for its exceptional service and delicious Italian cuisine. Visitors rave about the attentive and friendly staff, particularly Jesse, who goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The wood-burning ovens create a pleasant aroma, setting the stage for an enjoyable meal. Guests recommend trying the Gramma pizza and savoring the complimentary bread. While some feel that service could be improved, others praise the overall great experience at La Villa Restaurant.
First time trying the food from this restaurant after someone's recommendation. Love the food. Ordered take out and delivery. the staff was very attentive with the order. All food came nicely packed from the rain. Nice staff and nice delivery guy. Service was great.

I tried this restaurant recently and overall, it was a mixed experience. The calamari was excellent really well cooked, flavorful, and definitely a highlight of the meal. As for the pizza, it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best wood-fired pizza I’ve had. The dough and baking could use some improvement it didn’t have that perfect texture you’d expect from top wood-fired pizza spots. I also noticed that my table didn’t have a cover, which was a bit odd, and while the indoor seating area seemed clean, the outdoor area could use more attention. On the bright side, they gave me a free Coke at the end, which was a nice (and funny) surprise 😂 Thank you!!

Potluck Club is a Cantonese American restaurant in New York City, located at the intersection of Chinatown, the Lower East Side, and Nolita. The restaurant is a collaborative project by a group of native New Yorkers who have incorporated their shared childhood memories into the decor and food program.
In a city full of amazing options, this is a standout! Never had Cantonese style food before? No problem! This is a great place to break the ice. Menu is the perfect size, not too many options to overwhelm you but just enough to be able to order every appetizer and still have entrees! Anna was taking fantastic care of us and everyone around us…runners going back and forth….seemed like the owner was walking around chopping it up with patrons…my kinda spot! Initially, we left the endive salad app off our choices but we saw it and it looked too pretty to pass up and Anna said it was her favorite so we got it and it ended up being our favorite, too…thanks, Anna! Every thing we ordered was amazing…and Anna was telling us how the staff pretty much all grew up together and you could really tell the chemistry the staff had…I don’t repeat restaurants often but I will make an exception for Potluck on a future visit! If you’re in the area, check them out!

I've been waiting for so long to try this place and had pretty high hope for it. The food was not bad at all but it wasn't enough for us to be "Wow". And with the price like that I expected something more. The customer service was really good there. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. Love the decorations and the creative in every corners. I might come back to try different dishes next time but for now the food wasn't worth the hype. My favorite one was the Stir-fried thick noodles with oyster mushrooms.

Went here with some friends and it didn’t disappoint. The potstickers have sooo much flavor. The filling is excellent and the oil/sauce with garlic and green onions was sick. The thing I really wanted from here was the salt and pepper chicken and biscuits. It was packed with flavor! The plum chili sauce was such a nice compliment and I made a little sandwich because…that’s what I do. It was so damn good and I can see myself going back with people for sure!

Super delicious Chinese American fusion. Dinner was great and it’s a vibe, also enjoyed the drinks. Want to come back for the brunch. They release reservations on OpenTable 2 weeks in advance at midnight - but you can usually walk in on a weekend and it’s about an hour wait.

Have been wanting to try more HK style 餐厅! Food was pretty good here. Got brunch with a party of 4. The menu is pretty diverse and can cater to most people. I really enjoyed the endive salad with the salt&pepper chicken and the HK style french toast. I feel like a lot of the sandwiches were pretty standard - not a standout but tasted mostly like a regular sandwich with some asian flavors. The most flavorful dish was the potluck chow mein, felt like everyone really enjoyed that one across the table. Generally wasn’t as amazing as I expected but was still great food! Interior is well decorated and clean, staff were also super friendly and accommodating!

Good Chinese restaurant, they carry a good variety of mix drinks. The endive salad was super fresh, salt and pepper chicken was delicious, XO fried rice was good, the tiger shrimp with walnut was good. Overall, it is a good Chinese restaurant to try that is outside of the Chinatown.

UPDATE: Had the chance to go back twice since the original review and tried other things. For dinner specifically, the oyster mushroom rice noodles (with the steak) is definitely my favorite meal here. For lunch, the Hong Kong French toast is definitely decadent but so good. ORIGINAL: Fun and vibe-y spot for Chinese eats. The staff is super friendly. The salt and pepper fried chicken was especially great. The potsticker dumplings were nice too. Would come back to try the rest of the menu.

They seated us very quickly at the bar, even though we didn’t have reservations. We ordered the Japanese whiskey and a couple of cocktails. Everything was amazing. The food, caviar and chips, was fine. My partner really liked the flavor of the chips. Great place!

This bar got on my list because it was listed to have one of the better martinis in town however, their martinis are made with sake which I’m not a huge fan of sake - I understand this is a personal choice. Everything was good. It wasn’t amazing. It was good the wings however we must stand out with the flavor. I just don’t really like to eat wet wings. They allowed us to enter for standup space which the standup space here was quite enjoyable. We came in for a quick drink as we were kind of barhopping in the area. The staff was excellent. The space is adorable. It’s a really cute space. I can see for a great date night. The staff was very helpful kind funny and engaging personally, not my favorite place but I do recommend if you want a cute date night spot too small drinks are OK.

At the time of my visit (a few years back), I enjoyed the ambiance. The appetizers were filling yet, they felt light. The Cucumber-watermelon cooler & Far East side drinks were refreshing & they didn’t taste too sugary.

Amazing! It was just like my imagination. The server and the bartender, Capucine, were so nice throughout our stay and, specially for me, who has been wanting to visit this bar for forever, made it wonderful. The drinks (Amaro Highball, Kimino Plum Water and the Michelada) and the veggie okonomiyaki were all superb and i wish I could live here just to keep coming on the regular. Thank you so much!
Felipe A — Google review
Not a fan of their okonomiyaki... the flavor is great but who the freak serves it like this?!? It should be served as a whole circular pancake. The texture is awful like this. Its very mushy. Not crispy at all. I would say go for the drinks, no appetizers.

This place was always my favorite spot for Japanese inspired cocktails. Never disappointed with their different martinis. I was a little disappointed of the fact that I have to wait until my other guest joins even though there were empty bar seats and tables. There was no people waiting too. However, I might come back again to get their Sakura martini.

This place is awesome! We had reservations for a party of 2 for a Saturday evening. The place was poppin so make sure you make a res too! The vibe inside is dark and intimate. I would not recommend for parties larger than 4 For drinks we got the: - Sakura martini: surprisingly refreshing? - Far East Side: yum! - Hojicha old fashioned: (I did not taste but was told it's delicious) For food, we got the okonomiyaki. It was pretty salty and I don't think I'd buy it again (esp. for $19!) Overall - recommend for a lovely date night!

Grandchamps is a casual cafe in Bed-Stuy that offers a variety of Haitian dishes and sandwiches, along with breakfast items and groceries. The bright dining area provides a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy their specialties such as fresh fish sandwiches seasoned with Haitian spices, served with fried green plantains and spiced herb mayo. The marketplace within the cafe offers authentic Haitian goods like coffee, chocolate, and spicy peanut butter.
Good afternoon everyone! I'm Harry and my beloved mother is named Maria. I am posting this message under my beloved mother's account since I seem to be having trouble with mine. I in fact just finished eating Haitian food for the very first time inside Grandchamps and I am having such an absolute marvelous time inside the establishment. The food was so delicious and I must say Grandchamps compliments Haitian food so well. It was an astonishing pleasure eating at Grandchamps and the roast pork sandwich that I had there was the best roast pork sandwich that I ever had in my life. The sweet fried plantains that came inside the sandwich were out of this world and the dish was very creative. The beef patty was delicious too and only if you guys would have saw how empty I left my plate. Darn! I actually forgot to take pictures of the aftermath of me eating the entire sandwich and patty too! The female waitress named Samantha that recommended me the dish I had and helped with my order was an angel as well as her coworkers whom made great eye contact with me and gave wonderful smiles. The inside of the restaurant was splendid, clean, and the atmosphere was Divine. Awesome and great selection of the R&B and soul music that played from there cool sound system. Thank you Grandchamps for your great hospitality and blessings as well as much love to my entire Caribbean people no matter which island from the Caribbean they are from! Bye Grandchamps!

I love the ambience of this place. Immediately upon entering, we were enamoured by the literature and art within the space. The restaurant is within an open floor plan that is separated by counters and shelves which break up the space easily. The furniture for seating is quite comfortable and the tables were well-maintained and clean. One thing I could not stand was the ambient lighting (which seems to be a fixture in most New York restaurants) - the yellow lights. There needs to be more neutral white light that is easier on the eyes and add depth and layers to the space. While I like the design of the accent and ambient lighting - the placements could be better. I’ve often realized that the lighting in a restaurant can affect the colours of food and other objects within the space and this can turn off customers or attract them. The food was divine. I thoroughly enjoyed the bread pudding. The menu leaves me wanting more from Haitian cuisine, despite the classics and necessities being there. It is authentically Haitian. The drink menu needs be expanded beyond tea. I was slightly disappointed that in this holiday time, new innovations or offerings weren’t made (like crémas). I recommend here for a small gathering of friends or an intimate date (based on the lighting). The outer facade before you enter the restaurant is beautiful and I can’t wait to see how it can be transformed for an event.
MX W — Google review
Nice lunch here, albeit a little let down by some of the food. The restaurant is a large open-plan space with comfortable seating and plenty of room between tables; service was warm and friendly. We started with the marinad ak mori (salted cod fritters) which were delicious: crisp, fluffy, piping hot & not oily. Our lunch sandwiches were a bit less successful: both the GC’s Signature (fried pork, pikliz, sweet plantains & remoulade) and Poul Fri ak Waffle (fried boneless chicken thigh on a spiced waffle with fried egg) suffered from overcooked protein — the pork was tough and the chicken thigh dry, and both tasted underseasoned. We were curious about the (non-sandwich) rest of the menu though, and may come back to try some of the main dishes. (Perhaps banana fri will make an appearance on the menu!) Still, an inviting spot serving an under-represented cuisine, with lovely staff and a great vibe.

It’s great to see some people enjoyed their food because I once enjoyed food from here, but I am very disgusted by their customer service and food. My husband and nine year old Daughter went to order food for our family of four. My thirteen year old wanted buffalo wings. Everyone else wanted Griot with white rice and sauce pwa and patties. My oldest daughter ate two buffalo wings while stating it tasted weird then she called out for me and said the chicken is bleeding! I was disgusted! This chicken was bleeding! Not washed at all! I took it back and was refunded my money for the wings, that is it. Nothing more, no explanation , no heartfelt sorry nothing! I will be reporting to the department of health.

I was visiting NYC for a few days and came across Grandchamps when looking for a unique lunch spot. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see that the place was very spacious, and clean! The host greeted us warmly and we were seated immediately as there wasn’t very many people inside. In honor of Haitian Independence we ordered the soup Joumou which was very tasty. As an entree we ordered the Griot (fried pork) and Tassot (goat) with rice and beans. The food looked great! However, there was a flavor imbalance. The flavor on the meat was extremely salty while the rice/beans was bland. I ate my entire plate, but was expecting the food to be seasoned a little better.

Ariari is a unique Korean seafood restaurant located in East Village, offering a menu inspired by the coastal city of Busan. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and vibrant energy contribute to its overall appeal. Despite being busy, it provides an authentic dining experience. The menu is compact, making it easy to choose from a variety of standout dishes such as bibimbap topped with pastel yellow uni cream and flavorful Seafood Pancake.
One of the best Korean restaurants in Manhattan, hands down. We ordered pork shoulder & stomach soup, fried sea eels, and seafood pancake. The flavors blended so well together and felt so complete, and the texture was right on point. I was especially impressed with the fried sea eels, a perfect combination of crunchy and soft, sweet and salty. I hadn't seen this dish anywhere else so credits to the restaurant's creativity. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and thoughtful. I brought a box coming in and he helped me put it away before dining. After we were done, he brought the box out along with a big paper bag (containing my leftover pancake) so that I could put my box in and carry it more easily. The lady who brought our receipt was very friendly as well. Overall, incredible food and service! I'd love to come back and try other dishes on their diverse menu.

I visited Ariari because I wanted to introduce it to friends visiting from the Bay Area. Every time I come here, I’m blown away by the quality of the food, the staff’s service, and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant — it’s a solid 10000/10 every time. With the chilly weather, I was craving DAESUN soju and seafood like in Busan, and this place turned out to be the perfect choice. We had assorted Mak-hwe, mackerel, and scallop gimbap topped with uni and sweet shrimp. The rice is the most important part of Gimbap — and theirs is unbelievably good! The accompanying ssamjang and mayo sauces were just fantastic. At one point, my friend accidentally dropped a spoon, and the staff immediately replaced it with a new one — even bringing over a Tide stain remover stick just in case it got on her clothes. Their attentiveness and kindness were truly impressive...🥹 We ended the meal with Dolsot Al-Bap and Hap-Cheon Pork Soup the perfect pairing with soju that just went down so smoothly. My friends who were visiting said they were so touched by the taste and service that they almost cried. Ariari is one of those rare spots in New York that never fails to make me happy. The food is amazing, complemented by the warm hospitality that’s rare to find in New York!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ Writing this review is making me crave it again — I think I’ll go back this week. Now that it’s getting cold, it’s the perfect time to visit Ariari. Highly, highly recommend!

So glad my friend and I were lucky enough to get seated at this restaurant with no reservation. I wanted to order the Mak-Hwe, but the Seafood Butter Gui was much more tempting especially in terms of portion. The seafood melts in your mouth and the pita was nice and chewy w. a crisp. Be sure to order yourself the complimentary Seoul Night bottle they have on special when you download/pay through the Blackbird app. The service was on point and so was their dessert!

OMG this was the best Korean place I’ve ever been: the fried chicken was so tender, juicy and tasty. Loved the fact the staff kept on refilling our complimentary kimchi. The duck and the domburi were to die for. Incredibly lovely stuff — by far one of the best places I dined at in NYC.

A friend recommended this place; service was wonderful and food was just as great! They recommended 2-3 dishes per person but honestly, one each was good enough for us to share. The servers were knowledgeable of their dishes, attentive, and welcoming. Their menu is very different from typical Korean restaurants you would find in SoCal, so this was a nice change! I highly recommend the dolsot and scallop gimbap

This place is 100% worth the hype. Definitely make a reservation, they are SUPER popular! We started with cocktails; I loved both the Daraji and Kket-nip, $16 each. They were both delicious and strong with the former being ginger forward and the latter tasting just like a juicy peach. As for food, the famous Dolsot al-bap ($19) is a MUST GET. The uni cream is heavenly and the rice gets so creamy, yet crispy from the hot stone. The fried soft shell crab ($21) was good, but not as mindblowing as the Dolsot al-bap. The beef su-yook ($34) was the perfect way to round out the meal, with super tender beef and a light, refreshing broth. Even the house kimchi was amazing! Service was attentive and patient and I would absolutely be back.

My wife and I had had a great dinner at ARIARI. This was not our first time there but it’s pleasant to see that quality in food and service has not waned. Waitstaff were warm and welcoming, topping off the complimentary kimchi appetizer often and refilling our water. The food itself has always been very tasty and we were able to try a few new things on the menu this time. Usually the review is just about the food, but their service created an exceptional dining experience that I don’t feel too often these days when at other restaurants anywhere.

Mitchell's Soul Food is a no-frills soul-food joint in Prospect Heights that offers generous portions at affordable prices. The dark meat, known for its crispy and peppery crust, reveals moist and tender meat inside. With prices starting at $10 for dark meat and two sides, it's hard to resist stopping by this Southern-cooking institution. The cozy interior and approachable service add to the authentic experience.
We stopped here for a quick lunch while biking and had a great meal. The chicken was tender, the sauce was homemade, and our favorite side was the stewed tomatoes and okra. Besides the food, my favorite part of the experience was the great advice posted all over the walls. Mitchell’s is part diner and part art museum with its well-curated and thought-provoking walls. We’ll definitely come back.

I was lucky to know about this restaurant beforehand. You might walk past Mitchell's Soul Food and not even realize this is one of the best in Brooklyn. If I say "stripped down," I mean the food is kept to the most essential elements. That means the focus is on the authentic flavors of old time recipes. The decor is also very basic but done with charm and care. The home made lemonade tasted exactly like the name says. Loved it and will go back soon.

This is a traditional, cute little place in Prospect Heights. The inside is cozy and the service was approachable and authentic. The food was not stellar, but it was made with care and had that house made touch that comforts you. Highlight of my meal was the sweet potato pie slice. It also tasted like a grandma recipe kind of pie, and the spices and texture were just on point.

Stopped in last Sunday early afternoon. I had a slice of chocolate cake (while waiting on my meal). Then tender beef ribs, mac & cheese, yams. Peach cobbler to go. My father had beef ribs ,rice and corn, okra and tomato. My church sister had pig feet, potato salad, greens,we all had corn bread. The food was every bit of delicious. The wait staff service was wonderful. I tasted everything except pig feet. Everything I tried was very good. They are friendly, the place looked clean and neat. Not a fancy location. But everything else makes up for that.

The dinner menu may look a little pricey for a small restaurant such as this but it is totally worth the value and easily can be shared. The classic fried chicken with white meat was moist and had just enough flavor. The okra and corn was cooked very well and I wished I had ordered two as my sides but alas I didn't go wrong by ordering the cornbread (sweet). The venue has seating in the front and in the back with a small tour of the kitchen as u walk through.

I was here specifically for the smothered chicken, however, when I ordered, I was just given fried chicken. When I told the waiter/hostess she low-key argued with me saying that’s not what I asked for. Again, I had specifically come here for the smothered chicken so I’m pretty confident I asked just for that. She took the chicken back and I heard the microwave turn on which means they literally heated up some old gravy and poured it on the chicken. This is not smothered chicken, that was chicken and gravy. I also had macaroni and cheese (which was flavorless) and potato salad (okay, I guess). I asked for yams as well but I guess she never took that order down because it never came out and after the Chicken incident I was over it. I would say $14 for an entrée and two sides isn’t bad at all, however, I would never go back.

VERY DETAILED HONEST REVIEW: There’s nice seating along with a TV playing the nfl games. It did not happen to be busy when we arrived so it was a good time to just enjoy some food. We got served quickly and the wait for the food was around 20 minutes long but the food was very hot. THE BAD: 1. I ordered a chicken sandwich and what came out was a big chicken breast. I was confused. I let the lady know and she said that that’s what I ordered. I was confused and said that I ordered a chicken sandwich and she persisted that the breast was the sandwich so once again I said, that’s not a chicken sandwich and both her and her (husband possibly?) again tried to say that that’s what I ordered and so they asked if I wanted white bread. They were not being rude, it seemed as if they genuinely understood what I was saying and so I just said okay, it might just be a different type of soul food(which would make no sense, the breast was too big and full of bones to put ever put on bread) They asked if I wanted white bread for it and i said yes. They gave me two pieces of cheap white bread. Should have the chicken not come with the white bread in the first place? I basically paid $7 for a piece of white chicken and 2 25 cent pieces of bread. 2. The Mac N Cheese was not what I expected. It was not baked and it’s nothing like what I would envision soul food as. It’s fine though as the Mac was not bad but it definitely was only a 3/5 for me. The cheese could have been much better and it could’ve been baked. 3. The food was really just “okay”. The seasoning wasn’t the best, most fast food chicken spots will beat this place in taste. 4. My friend did not enjoy the yams at all.( She’s very black and she loves her soul food so that is saying something) 5. The service was not that great at all. The hostess was giving off rude vibes from her demeanor and tone. The worst part was when we payed the bill and she was silent when we tipped them. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect them to get down to their knees and say thank you but at least a “thank you” would have been nice. She just went completely silent. Not a single “thank you” or “come again”. Personally, I found this very rude as I am a very respectful person, I don’t like that BS New York attitude and I don’t ever let it slide. I probably would’ve checked her if I was in the restaurant for 1 more minute. THE GOOD: 1. The street that this restaurant is on is very lively, even when it was pouring down rain. 2. Both of my brothers thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One got shrimp and fish and the other got straight chicken. 3. The mashed potatoes, cornbread and fries were all great. Not over the top, it’s exactly what you would expect here. 4. The food was really not expensive. Both of our bills combined to only $95. That’s not bad for a good meal of soul food. 5. The atmosphere was nice; the design of the restaurant was nice and there was a TV with the NFL games on. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you’re from NYC. If you’re from the south or the Midwest, this food would not blow you away as we have much better food spots there and like I said in the bad, the seasoning is not the best, it’s quite average.

i’m lost in the deserts of the mojave, these days, but this place is always on my mind! Mitchell’s is the greatest thing in all of nyc (to me)!! he makes the most comforting plate of catfish, fried chicken wings, yams, collards and cornbread in the city (and yes, i did try Sylvia’s). it’s a must-have and best kept secret. be good to them because they will take care of you ♥️

La Caridad 72 is a unique fusion of Cuban and Chinese cuisine located in the Upper West Side. The restaurant has recently reopened in a new, smaller but clean and spacious location near the 72 Street subways and bus. The food is highly praised for its quality, with generous portions at reasonable prices. Customers have raved about dishes like Fried Chicken Crackling and pepper steak, as well as the attentive service from the welcoming staff.
The food was so delicious! Everything we ordered was on point. We're on vacation and so far yet...this has been the best place we've ate at. The service and atmosphere was great. Definitely going again before vacation is over. If you're in manhattan check this place out. You won't regret it!

Of course! Here is a polished review that combines all the excellent points you made, organized for maximum impact. Cuban-Chinese Cuisine Perfection The hype for this spot is real, and it is well-deserved. I had a craving for some oxtail, and this place absolutely hit the spot. The meat was so tasty and incredibly soft. While the ropa vieja was good, the sesame chicken might just be the best I have ever tasted in my entire life. My God, it was so good! The service was also top-notch and very attentive. I took some egg rolls home and ate them the next day, and they were perfection out the oven. I will definitely go back.

We’ve been to this place numerous times and I give it the full 5-star rating. They serve Cuban and Chinese fusion and I would always order their pork chop as my default and it has been consistently done: the taste and the juiciness is just perfect. My wife’s go to is their fried chicken which is also nicely done. Service wise, their staff are so friendly and they look after you.

A legitimate hidden gem in the Upper West Side. Stumbled upon this spot after originally wanting lunch from Thai 72, but decided on this restaurant instead. Seriously, it's so worth it. Lunch specials everyday, a beautiful combination of Cuban and Chinese food. Complimentary bread, a choice of white or yellow rice with beans, large portion sizes, and aggressively competitive pricing. Next time I definitely want to try the pork belly, but the sliced chicken with yellow rice and beans legitimately blew me away. Will be back any time I'm in the UWS. It's fantastic.

This is a great spot we stumbled into by chance. Everyone was very nice and friendly and the food was great. Whatever you do make sure you slurp down some of the green sauce it was delicious on both the chicken and the plantains. (And mixed in with the fried rice, and as a salad dressing…)

If you love Puerto Rican-style Chinese food 🇵🇷, this place is a must! Delicious flavors that took me straight to the Caribbean, perfectly seasoned dishes, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend the fried pork chops with pork fried rice — unforgettable! They were also super attentive to my shellfish allergy, explaining every ingredient.

Once again we were not sure where to eat. So we said hey let's try this place . Many restaurants on 72 st. We decided on this one. La Caridad 72. No wait at the time we went. They were very nice seated us. We looked at the menu , soooo many choices to pick from. It's a Cuban restaurant and Chinese. Ok menu looked good. I chose chicken wings and fried rice and salad. My partner mom chose a noodle dish with beef. They brought us water and bread and asked us what we wanted to drink. Our waitress very nice. Men that came over also very nice. Maybe 3 people were all attending us. Didn't wait long for our food. WOWWWWW , the portion that came out. Looked real good. We were hungry, so we got down to business. It was nice and hottt and soooo good. My plate and my moms plate was delicious. We both tasted each other's food. Looked good. We finished but didn't finish all of it. So we took the rest home. When I used their bathroom , it was nice and clean and smelled good. Waitress came over talked to us , she was so kind and funny. I said ,"food was good. We couldn't finish it all." What she told us was so funny. She said , " mostly the the men finish it all , women don't" I laughed. Thank u all we enjoyed our selves. People don't forget to write on their note pads as u walk out the door. It's right as u walk out the door but behind u. I did . Look for Sandy. Right in the middle. Enjoy. We will be back. Thank u

The food and service at La Caridad 72 are amazing! I started going to La Caridad in the mid 1980’s when it was located a few blocks away. The amazing thing is that the food and service are exactly the same. I gladly travel more than 40 miles whenever I want amazing Chinese-Latin food. The chicken chicharrones (small chicken bites), which are pictured in this review, is delicious. The ropa vieja (shredded beef) is also off the charts. If you want good food and drinks, please visit La Caridad 72. Believe me, you will go back!

Nestled in the heart of Mill Basin, Panino Rustico is a delightful spot that has quickly become a favorite for many. This charming eatery offers an array of delicious sandwiches and salads that are sure to impress. The bruschetta with mozzarella and tomatoes stands out as a must-try, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
I live in FL & was visiting family in NY so was feeling for a sandwich 1 day! I must say, this place has AWESOME paninis... quaint place & really cozy!!! Ate here twice in a row (takeout & dine-in)!!! Next time I'm in NY, I will DEFINITELY come back!!!
Robert P — Google review
There is a lot to like about Panino Rustico. 🙂 Just had a W2 (wrap #2) where I was able to swap out the turkey for grilled chicken, and add avocado. Loved it! 🌯🤩 Their food has been consistently good over time. The P20, P25 and P50 are favorites that we've returned to again and again. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was the grilled chicken Cesar wrap, and I found the Salmon panini a bit too salty. One note of caution though, be sure to check your bill and your order. I have had experiences where my bill was incorrect, or they forgot to bag an item I had ordered and paid for. But the food is so good, those occasions haven't stopped me from patronizing their business. 😊
V. L — Google review
I really do love the food from this place but the way they be sending out the food sometimes doesn’t make any sense. Why would you deliver the panini like this? It’s like they just put the balsamic glaze over the top of the bread before delivering. Who would allow this to be sent out?

Panino Rustico is absolutely amazing. There is just no other way to sum up my repeated experiences with this restaurant. The food is truly great, tasty, well priced and fresh. They nave a very fast delivery. Looking at my Lox Bagel, just look at the thickness of that salmon. I have similar experience with the salad. Truly an amazing place. 👍👍👍

-Super delish !!! We had paninis P52 & P53 which the waitress Emily recommended! They were AMAZING 😍 also order a hot chocolate, was a bit too dark for my taste but delightful either way. This place is taking covid precautions very seriously, they now have one time use (utensils, plates, cups and menus) and you can’t miss the sweetheart Michael who’s the owner and is running around the place making sure everything is intact, he recommended us the banana/strawberries crepé for dessert 👌 ***bonus they are now setting up outside dinning, which looks super cute for the summer. Chicken restaurant
Yetnal Tongdak, located in Queens Murray Hill, offers a unique take on Korean fried chicken by serving whole birds fried without starch, resulting in an exceptionally crispy skin. The soy-garlic glazed wings are also a standout feature. Customers have praised the crispy skin and moist meat of the original fried whole chicken, along with the accompaniments such as mayo, sweet spicy sauce, sliced onion, and pickled radish.
Got the half and half chicken, lady there so SUPER kind! Chicken was still crunchy after a 15 minute ride home and super flavorful. I really reccomend the soy sauce flavor, it even had fresh minced garlic in the sauce. not a single dry piece. Was only able to take a picture halfway through dinner but still delightful nonetheless

I’m a fried chicken connoisseur. This place fries the whole chicken the traditional Korean way. it comes out lightly breaded, juicy crispy BUT NOT GREASY. I haven’t tried the other variations yet as they were busy with a lot of take out, however just for the OG WHOLE Chicken, I’m willing to drive from Manhattan to Bayside just for this whole chicken. Man this was good—i just left the restaurant and had to write this review. See you next week!!

Dry and inedible skin. Spongey and tough texture that we couldn’t get through Flavor of the seasoning is good but there are many other better edible chicken places in the area (even the chains) The radish was fine

Update:Yesterday, I ordered a whole chicken, a large pig's feet, and fried vegetables. It was delicious as usual, but within an hour, my husband and I were in the bathroom all night. Thank goodness we had Pepto. I don't think I'll go back. their chicken and fried potatoes. 😋 There's no place that has food like here. I recommend that order ahead a time. They are really busy all the time.
Rachel L — Google review
There is no service here. You order at the counter and is self serve water. The fries are normal and you can get them anywhere. I would pass on it. The chicken is solid. The mayo sauce is creamy and delicious. I was a fan of the raw onions. The Korean fried chicken is crunchy! We got 3 orders for 3 people and had plenty of leftovers.
Lily — Google review
Ordered to go. Country style was so dry it was like eating rubber, and the hot and sweet spicy chicken was cut up so repulsively I question if it was even chicken, half of the bits inedible with nothing but cartilage and bone, not a piece of meat. My stomach turned halfway through trying because of how many unidentifiable chunks lacked any meat. I went to read reviews to see if others had a similar experience and saw a response to a customer who sat down to stay even though his food was to-go. What audacity you have to say tip is expected despite not having table service? Will not return.
Tia M — Google review
Old Fashioned Korean Fried chicken at it’s best. Even with delivery, the skin was shattering and crispy. For dine in, just order and sit and enjoy.
Ken L — Google review
The store name says it all. This restaurant specializes in making Korean fried chicken traditional way., You will get the whole, uncut fried cut. This was the most popular way to eat fried chicken in Korean until 1990s. So someone who is nostalgic of that fried chicken, this restaurant fills that need. I think this restaurant is only one doing it the old way. However, old-fashioned Korean fried chicken is not the most popular menu item here. They also offer the modern version and I think they do it quite competitively. Their pricing point is $2-$3 lower than other franchise KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) restaurants. Yes, there were several occasions when the quality fell below my expectations, especially when delivered via DoorDash or UberEats. But my overall experience had been very positive during multiple visits. By the way, their pork trotter is one of the better one in Flushing, imho.

Three Roosters is a laid-back restaurant in Hells Kitchen that offers a variety of Thai-style chicken dishes, including fried, grilled, and poached options served with rice and vegetables. The Cheeto-adjacent entry on the menu provides a satisfying crunch with less juice. Customers can enjoy their meals with a cup of poaching broth, making it an ideal spot for a filling lunch.
I loved this quiet, cute gem! It was very homey and service was quick and nice. Came here for date night. I had the grilled chicken with sticky rice. Amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly and super juicy. The sticky rice was just right & the tamarind sauce (first time trying it) was good. My date had the Zab chicken with ginger rice. I tried some of his chicken and the crunch + flavor of the chicken was delicious.

This place is so underrated. Amazing Thai chicken 3 ways (poached, grilled and fried). The poached was perfectly executed and so delicious and beats our favorite version of this dish. So so so good Then came the dried chicken and we were blown away. Perfect crunch while chicken was still juicy Service was fast efficient and friendly. Great experience here. Can't wait to be back!

Three Roosters is extremely underrated. It’s one of my favorite fast casual spots in all of Manhattan. I always get the grilled chicken with ginger rice. The portions are perfect, and the sauce that comes with it is packed with flavor. It also comes with a soup that’s super delicious and comforting. If you order through Uber Eats, I believe your meal even includes a free drink, which is a nice bonus. The food is fresh, satisfying, and consistently great. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for a quick lunch. Small spot with a few tables. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Ordered the fried chicken Sando with a Thai iced tea. The sandwich was just the right amount of spice. Good try on the chicken. Seasoned well. Iced tea wasn't too sweet which it tends to be. The service was pleasant and quick. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu.
Ms V — Google review
Not much to say on the food. It's solid. I got the fried chicken plate with dark meat, soup and ginger rice. Everything was perfectly fine, just not as special as advertised. Not a ton of flavor going on. The seasoning on the fries was pretty tasty though, especially with the scallions. Staff was extremely kind from the moment I walked in, and constantly refilled my water cup, which I appreciated. However, this place really shouldn't be operated as a table service restaurant. There's no need for it. I'd guess most people would prefer counter service to avoid the tip, myself included. The value for the food is lost with the added service cost. So, mixed thoughts. Give it a try for yourself though.

4.5/5 Zab Fried Chicken - a must order! The chicken is fried super crispy and their spice blend with the bright citrusty zing is so good! The sweet spicy tamarind sauce pairs perfectly. 3.5/5 Poached Chicken -- the chicken itself was quite dry and bland, but the sauce was great with it! Wished the ginger rice had a bit more flavor. 4/5 Thai Ice Tea -- solid and authentic, we've had better in city however

WOW! This place was good! The service here was excellent and it's a pretty casual sit down or take out place. Came here on a Thursday evening and was glad to find 2 seats. We ordered the fried chicken and grilled chicken both which were great. The Zab fries weren't for me, but mostly because they were a bit underdone and not as crispy as it could have been. The thai iced tea was fantastic and highly recommend you order. The ginger rice that the chicken is sitting on was also good. The clear chicken soup was also refreshing and I highly recommend you eat the rice with the soup (yes in one bite!). Awesome combo Overall, felt well attended to and they go the extra mile by including tootsie rolls at the end of the meal. Also decently priced. A great find!

The chicken was hot, crispy and well-seasoned and the waffle was amazing; slightly crispy on the outside and super fluffy and soft in the inside. The staff are super nice and attentive. My new breakfast/lunch haunt on the weekends!

It has potential. It is a small cute space. The chicken & waffles definitely steal the show, however the other items on the menu that I tried I could definitely do without. The "cheese grits" were slices of kraft singles not even melted into the grits with no seasoning. The Mac and cheese was very bland no flavor. The eggs needed salt and pepper. I would recommend for the chicken and waffles only. They should consider downsizing their menu and thinking of quality over quantity.

PROS: Waffle, beans and rice, cabbage good. Good customer service. 8oz portion sizes adequate. CONS: Cockroach bait station placed in customer area in full view. -Peach cobbler, frozen in the center. Drowned in 3mm of cold watery slush at the sides and bottom so badly it was discarded untouched (photo shown after water was drained off). Had high hopes but unfortunately It takes one bad item to prevent us from repurchasing ANYTHING.

Ordered the chicken with red velvet waffles. It was amazing! Waffle was soft and tender drizzled with cream cheese frosting. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside while hot and juicy in. Both were delicious on there own but put them together with the syrup and you have a little taste of heaven. Definitely going back for more!

Had a nice conversation with the friendly owners who are hands on the entire process providing limited ingredient fresh food. Well worth going out of the way to, as you can go grocery shopping there for cooked sides, biscuits, and deserts. If you want good soul food at a reasonable price. This is the place to come. I had the oxtails with mac and cheese and cabbage.. excellent. The meat was tender and seasoned well. I also had yellow cake with chocolate frosting which was excellent. The owners cook the food themselves and the staff are very friendly. So, if you are in Brooklyn or not. It's worth the trip.

I used to love this place since Ive lived down the street for 8 years now, but the quality of food (at least delivered food) is consistently a letdown. Fried shrimp are rubber, chicken dry, mac and cheese is incredibly bland. The last order I had was the red velvet waffles and the cream frosting tastes so spoiled I had to throw out the entire thing. I imagine eating in may be a different experience, but, just living less than a block a way, I can't understand why the delivery food is lukewarm and, at times, inedible upon delivery.

Came here for a quick lunch. The front desk lady taking my order had absolutely no patience, was extremely short, and had a terrible attitude. It left a really negative taste in my mouth. I would spend my money elsewhere. I don’t need to deal with the attitude when I am paying for something. I don’t expect you to be overly nice but just be polite for the 1 minute when you take my order. There’s good food everywhere on 8th Ave, take your money elsewhere.

I’ve been a patron of this restaurant many times but on my last time here I ordered 3 pork burgers, spicy wings, chicken nuggets and fries, which also came with a free order of popcorn chicken… something in this order was terribly off and resulted in me being very sick and constantly throwing up for 2 days following prompting me to go to the hospital and given 4 medications and 2 bags of IV fluid to replenish my body of electrolytes and fluids. I don’t know if this establishment is cross contaminating their foods or improperly storing it or just simply using ingredients past due but I hope management looks into it because what happened to me should have never happened!

I ordered through UberEats app at approximately 8:00pm on today January 01,2025 and I was tracking the delivery through UberEats the whole time and no one ever showed up and delivered it to the lobby as I put in the instructions. The UberEats app was showing that it was “ On the Way” for an whole hour and I was looking at my phone time and it was saying 9:30 pm, so I called the Dan And Job shop at this location and spoke to a guy and he said that it shows “ delivered” on his end. I then advised him that on my end, it stills show on the way. He then said that he will reach out to UberEats to get it resolved. At this very time, about 20 minutes ago, I checked the Ubereats app again and it says the order is completed. I then contacted Ubereats and they said that I will have to reach out to the restaurant because they did not successfully reach them. I am pissed off and plan on going to the restaurant tomorrow because this is coming off as a scam. I RECEIVED NOTHING and is pissed because it’s not resolved.

Cassidy L — Google review
The wings are great when they get your order right. Sadly, usually they don't. Ordered 20 “extra wet, extra sauce” and got 20 bone dry wings with two little cups of sauce. And no dip doesn't mean no carrots! That said, wings are so good I keep subjecting myself to this.

YUM YUM YUM! The sweet chili wings were absolutely scrumptious and for sure a must try. Their chicken tenders were not my favorite, but not my least either. I had the chicken tenders plain. I would like to come back and have them in one of many Dan and John’s sauces.

It's my first time trying out buffalo wings at "Don and John's Wings". It's a small place but their buffalo wings were delicious and crispy. There are different sauce options to pick from for the wings. It was served fresh and I also had their Tater-tots. Service was great. I enjoyed eating here.

Ordered the Spicy BBQ wings with fries! The sauce is not that spicy so I would have liked a little bit more heat on them but overall the flavor was good. They gave me a good amount of fries which I was happy about. Decently price considering the area.

Stopped there today after a grocery run at Trader Joe's. This was my 1st time trying their wings so I asked the man at the counter about the sauce he would recommend. He just shrugged and his eyes quickly moved on to elsewhere like he couldn't be bothered(I ordered lemon Pepper). Cold customer service aside I shrugged it off everyone is entitled to a bad day. He motioned me over when it was ready, after checking my order. I went about my long ride home. Upon opening my small box, I was startled to see my small wings sitting on top of a yellow sauce that looked to be butter. I also noticed the lack of speckles that indicated Lemon peppers wings(maybe it was in the sauce?). After I sampled said sauce and took a small nibble, I deduced that it was indeed butter and nothing else. No lemon pepper at all. I had to add my own seasoning. I can say this it, reheated beautifully the wings were cooked well but flavorless. This coupled with the customer service was no bueno

If you're a wing enthusiast, International Wings Factory Times Square is a must-visit destination that promises to satisfy your cravings. This charming eatery offers an impressive selection of handcrafted wings, each bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. With options like Lemon Cajun and Nashville Hot, there's something for every palate. The staff here are not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, ensuring you have a delightful dining experience.
My boyfriend and I got 40 wings here and they were beautifully handcrafted and literally just perfect. I’m a BIG wings fan and they were definitely in the top of my list. Great staff, so kind and friendly! Love the boss, super accommodating & does amazing at his job! I don’t leave reviews normally so let that fact speak for itself.

Dry wings but still not crispy. Didn’t feel fresh and one was even pink inside. Can’t understand the average rating at all, even Applebee’s wings are way better. Very uninterested staff as well and the dining area was really poor.

These wings were bad. Chicken was dry and tasted old, like it had been cooked the day before. Also, 20 dollars for 10 wings is crazy. Restaurant is in an old building with no decor. Just some chairs and a weird kitchen set-up. Kinda sketch. The buffalo sauce was good tho

We went there based on the good Google reviews and were sadly disappointed. It was clear the chicken was frozen and well past its prime use date. I believe the fryer was also not hot enough. The chicken was not fresh, poorly seasoned, and not crispy. The sauces were runny and they oversauced all our wings. It was all disgusting. Easily the worst meal we’ve had in New York and among the worst anywhere.

We Love, Love, Love international wings factory. They know how to do wings right. Flavor all through. Our favs are Lemon Cajun and the Nashville Hot but you cant go wrong with any of them. Glad to know they have a location at Time's Square. We usually travel uptown to 91st location. Either wayy get some wings.. You'll thank us...

The Vietnamese Chile Mango were really good crispy. MEXU Q one of the best flavors nice heat. Boneless wings are the crispiest. AMAZING SERVICE very nice lady. Tip lady

Great little wing restaurant if you want a little bit of a breather from Times Square.. loads of choice (including how crispy you want the wings!!) , loads of sauce options and the mango chilli sauce was unbelievable! Great staff who were patient talking me through the menu - make sure you try it!
Ap 1 — Google review
Disappointed with the place and the food. From the outside it looks like a place under construction. It's also confusing if it's a wing place or bagel place. Apparently they do both. They whole kitchen setup looks more like a pop-up kitchen. Wings were ok. A little dry
