Super underrated BK brewery. Great brew options the cover the full gambit of beer types + solid cocktails & a full bar. Food was great too. Chopped cheese sliders are A1. Used to pass this place all the time thinking it was a small bar/brewery but it had a great standard bar with nice seating, a great pretty fun arcade and a gorgeous rooftop that has some of the best views the city has to offer. I’m talking midtown + Statue of Liberty! Definitely worth pullin up.

Randolph Rooftop is a solid spot for drinks with a view. The food was good, definitely enjoyable and worth ordering. Well-made cocktails with good flavor and a nice selection. The real highlight is the view. You get a great look at the city from up top, especially around sunset. It’s a great place to unwind and catch up with friends without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Definitely a spot I’d return to.

All of my guests were obsessed with the retro arcade games, easy-to-win claw machines, DDR, and Skeeball-- plus, feather bowling was a total hit! The food was delicious, with generous portions and many vegan options, clearly labeled on the platters. Great presentation as well! The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. A special shoutout to Serena, the director of events, who made the booking process effortless and was incredibly responsive at every step. My friends and I had such a blast, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Randolph Beer, for making my birthday one to remember! 🎉🍻

Delicious high quality takeout. This was my first time ordering from Randolph Beer and it won’t be my last. The food arrived fresh and tasted great. I look forward to trying more of their menu. P.S. my only complaint is the limited dessert options!

Fantastic selection of beers - with even the most outlandish sounding ones (like a Gatorade-based craft ale) being amazing. The service that I received from Ruben was nothing short of brilliant, too. Went for the chicken wings and must say they are the best wings with incredible buffalo sauce.

We ordered the pancake, ground pork noodles, and Khao Soi for lunch. While everything we ordered was delicious, the portions were quite small. I really liked the pork noodles, which were the right balance of savory and sour. I feel like the servers were a bit pushier than I would have liked about trying to get us to order drinks/rice.

We were five and had a family meal menu. We got to try a lot of plates which was great! The duck, steak and ribs stood out. Definitely get the coconut rice and donuts! The small plates were also good, particularly the papaya salad. The noodles were okay. A bit pricey for the type of food (and they add $5 per person if you order the duck dish) but would definitely come back with a large group like this!

Went for my husband’s birthday and the crew made us feel like their life long friends. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was really cool and laid back. Definitely definitely go.

Service was amazing, food was delicious, cocktails were great! Highlights were coconut rice, stew, dumplings, fried shrimp, and the ricotta fried dessert staff recommended was a great surprise!

The family meal is fantastic value and I feel like I could bring my parents to eat here and there would be no complaints! My only complaint is the music volume. The PK wings are beautifully crispy and flavorful, when I come back I will 100% get these again. The pork sisig is pretty good but I feel like I could consider trying something else next time. Both noodle dishes are amazingly flavorful and plentiful. I would 100% order then every time I come back The crispy cauliflower was okay, but not particularly crispy and I feel like the sauce should be thicken so it sticks to the cauliflower. The Hainanese Duck is cooked very well and tender. The crispy rice is very flavorful and matches the dish very well. The coco rice is amazing and 100% mandatory. The mini-doughnuts were paired with a calamansi custard that is perfectly sweet and tart. 100% would come back again!

October 2024: Stopped by for a team dinner and we had a great time. We started out with drinks. I had a local hazy IPA from a can. Was good. Beer options were pretty good. We decided to go with the family style option. Favorites of mine were the papaya salad, the sisig platter, and the duck! I did not get photos of all the food but those three were standouts for me! For dessert, I had the donut which was very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food 😋.

We visited this restaurant during the week because of the great reviews. It was easy to get a table since they weren’t crowded at all. The decor was rustic and a nice Italian touch. We went with the pre-fixe which seemed like a good deal. The scallops and orecchiette with sausages and broccoli rabe were just ok. We weren’t crazy about the mussels or Bronzino as it lacked flavor. Desserts were ok as well. Friendly staff, but not sure we’d return as the food did not meet our expectations.

Excellent food and a lively, cozy and still spacious feeling atmosphere. The pollo parmigiana has a wonderful red sauce, the pappardelle de funghi was my favorite - unexpected but I would order that alone. Also a delicious potato leek soup was on the money, that paired well with the sautéed spinach. A wonderful Valentine’s dinner!

I’ve been coming to Scottadito for years and recently returned after a COVID break—so glad I did! The branzino with garlic sauce, cherry tomatoes, and basil was amazing, and the cucumber basil martini hit the spot. Big thanks to George behind the bar and German for the top-notch service. I came with my girlfriends for brunch for a belated birthday. We started off with unlimited mimosas. I had four glass and was tapped out. The waiter knew it was my birthday and he kept making sure my glass was full at all times. I had the poach eggs. My friend had the omelette and my other friend has the dish with the amazing bread. They both order hanger steak on the side and it was cook to perfection. I had a wonderful time and I truly recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed in the food nor the atmosphere. Oh I got a side of crispy bacon because why not ?!

Highly recommend this place! Pasta was great. Ordered family style for the table. We ordered mainly from the specials menu. We ordered the octopus app, fried calamari, spicy rigatoni, steak, ceasar salad, prosciutto pizza pie (not pictured) and Italian gravy. Service was great!

Brunch never disappointed us, so my bestie and I decided to try dinner. We took advantage of their January special: 3 course dinner, which included a glass of wine for $44.95 pp. Saying that everything was DELICIOUS is not an exaggeration. 10/10 as usual.

Was looking for an opportunity to dine at this place. Only in the weekends is this place open during the day so today on a Saturday I went. The place is LOUD albeit with good taste of retro, 90's music and not the modern trash that floods the radio waves so I can rock with that. Place is sized pretty well with an outside seating area and plenty of tables inside the albeit dimly lit bar/restaurant. Coming into the place I was greeted by a blonde woman who seemed to be a supervisor of the area. She directed me to a comfortable seating area and a server took my order afterwards. The place was relatively busy so the wait for my food was kind of in the long range, about maybe 15 minutes. I ordered Chicken & Waffles with Iced Tea and the food was definitely worth the wait. That chicken was so good, a bit on the crisp side but it's solid in taste. The Waffle had such an awesome texture with the right measure of powdered sugar, decorated with Blueberries and Strawberries, the entrée was plated very well. The Iced Tea, I didn't know it was unsweetened so that threw me off but some sugar kinda fixed that. Service was also 'A' Tier. The place was busy so it was a tad on the slow side but they were very attentive. About 3 different servers tended to me whether it was about my order, how I liked it and paying for the bill when I was finished. That's dedication and I always give props to that. I enjoyed my visit here.

We did the Sunday brunch here. Great music with a DJ. Food was really good and I'm very picky with food. Drinks were all great!! Service was exceptional!! The wait staff were very attentive and friendly!! Will come back!!

Stop in for Brunch food was above n beyond expectations. The chicken sausage with rosemary was the best... the chef gave us some to go on the house. I love the chicken n waffles. The side of bacon was more than the normal 2/3slices

I had a rude experience with a waitress circa 2023 that has left me unwilling to visit despite the close proximity. I am not sure she's still there but can't help bit wonder why they would've hired such a passive aggressive person who is catty towards a patrons that doesn't drink but is happily accompanying someone who does.

I came to this restaurant for years , because the establishment is in my area where I live . today we came to celebrate two birthdays , which isn’t mothers and my sisters . The staff and manager weren’t accommodating to our needs, nor to the fact that we were here celebrating two birthdays. We have two vegans that were in our party , one requested to have to order sides ‘ that apparently would be in there “dinner menu” . All they could do was express that they are no longer accommodating the customer needs . I’ve come here for multiple celebrations & this would definitely be the last time I would come to this place . for us to have to move things around at such short notice and to have people who came to the establishment literally sit and not eat , is just ridiculous

Had a fantastic brunch experience! The vibe was lively with a good music selection (top 100 pop hits with a sprinkle of hip hop) The service was friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to grab a seat at the bar. The food didn’t disappoint—both the pizza and the burger were delicious and well-prepared. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch. Definitely worth a visit!

Karina’s service and attention to detail was exceptional! Her personality and positive energy made the space extremely inviting. She was lovely, energetic, and made us feel at home. All of her recommendations were stellar and made the dining experience a 10/10. She was well versed on the menu and was able to give all the context needed for great bites and an even better time. My girlfriend and I had the Penne Alla Vodka with Burrata and the Cacio e Pepe, both with shrimp, along with the Caesar salad and wood-fired flat bread. She’s truly a star and is the reason we’ll be back! Trust me, the food was great, but great food is nothing without a 5STAR experience, and she gave us just that! Be sure to ask for her during your next time in, and you’re sure to have a great time!

First time eating at this establishment. I would recommend doing a better job with the food (pasta dishes) and the drinks. I felt like the pasta and shrimp were a huge disappointment especially how it’s an Italian restaurant and the aesthetics were on point. Tasted like poor quality tomato sauce and the shrimp tasted like pre-cooked shrimp. The pizza my bf ordered was good and fresh tasting though. We were there for brunch on yesterday. The service was good. The drinks were not based on the limited selections for the prix fixed brunch deal. They have other brunch drinks that were better sounding selections but they weren’t included in the special. The drinks were watered down or just weren’t good. I’m not sure why there was an up charge on the Hugo spritz (watery and tasteless). I wish these types of places would put more effort in the food quality and drinks because eventually people will realize the gig is up.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and one of the things I can say with real honesty is that Karina is absolutely an amazing server. She remembers me and my partners drinks and our favorite foods and she always has such a warm, friendly and welcoming vibe that makes us feel right at home. Truly exceptional service provided by Karina and the rest of the team is very nice and kind as well. Great food highly recommend the woodfired wings one of our favorites, pizza is great, Cacio Pepe w grilled chicken is bomb and Overall, the vibes are awesome! I enjoyed my visit. Actually getting my drink’s worth with my bottomless Bellinis made the day a little hazy, but I remembered the food was delicious. I was expecting home fries would brunch, but those French fries touched a spot I didn’t even know needed touching and my eggs Benedict were perfection! Food was alright, but we were starving so that probably made it taste a little better. Standard pizza and pasta with nothing super special about it. Prices were a little bit higher than I would have expected, but nothing super unreasonable. Overall it did the job and filled up my stomach nicely. Each dish was just enough for a hungry person.

I’ve been patronizing this brunch spot for over a decade and it never disappoints. $30 for bottomless mimosas, rose sangrias, or bloody Mary’s. The mimosas are Potent! The rosemary wings are a must. We ordered Dteak and an eggs and Tartufo pizza as our entrees. The classics Tartufo and Armatrecianna are delicious. Reservations are a must as the place gets pretty crowded. Good music and vibe. Definitely try it out.

Great spot for bottomless brunch if you have a large group, we were 17 people! All appetizers were served family styled and we pre picked all our items. The food was good, came out in a timely manner and the price was reasonable! We received an incorrect entree, but it didn’t bother us! Bottomless drinks were okay, we just stuck to the mimosas, but they have sangria and other options!

We went to this place for a friend's birthday dinner . Upon walking in, the place was really cute! The service started off, shaky. We had a party of 18 and the tables that they gave us was just not picking up to suit our party. We asked to be moved to a different area, but they said they had a bigger party. However, they ended up moving us to that place, which was interesting because I thought they said they had a party. It ended up that they did have a party. We just got there first. I'm glad they moved us because it was definitely more comfortable. The bottom is option was all or nothing but that's pretty typical for a restaurant in the city. We got the some appetizers: - Caesar salad was made out of spinach. Spinach leave the weird taste in my mouth which has nothing to do with the restaurant. The salad was good. -The Meatballs were so good. Not dry and very flavorful. -The Fries were incredible. They had a hint of truffle flavor. They also had a nice bite to them. - The brussels sprouts were cooked well. I wish they were more saucy. - The pizza was floppy but decent. I'm overall not a huge pizza fan but I liked the thinness of the crust. - The penne alla vodka lacked a decent amount of sauce for me. I needed more of that creamy tomato sauce. - The chicken was kind of dry but okay. After like 10pm, the place turned into a club vibe. The music was bumping and it was a nice mix between current and oldies songs. I would recommend!

The place was very cute and cozy. For me just a little too dim, but that's just because I like everything to be bright. Customer service was on point, we never had to request for our refills. Very attentive and all our food came out as we requested. The food itself was delicious, def one of the best French Toasts Ive had and I am not a French Toast girlie. I also really loved the flavor of the steak and eggs. That came with a salad and fries. Salad had the perfect amount of dressing and the fries just had the right type of crunch! I didn't give 5 Stars because I believe that the portion to price didn't match. I was still pretty hungry and it left me wanting more. It was busy, but it didn't feel cramped. We were very comfortable. I would def recommend this place because everything we had was delicious. I'm looking forward to trying the food that wasn't a part of their brunch menu next time .... it all looked so good.

I attended their pumpkin carving event, which I found via Instagram. My friend and I had a terrible experience and I would not recommend going here, especially for an event. A few days before the event I went to check the post details, but the original post was removed from their account and a new post is up with different dates and prices. Many people, including me, left comments expressing confusion as to if our tickets were still valid. They said they had to add more dates due to high demand, which is understandable, but why different ticket prices and removal of posts? That was the first red flag. At check in for the event, we are told we have to pay another $5 to carve the pumpkins. We asked why and even showed the hostess that on Eventbrite it says everything is included. Her response was “well everyone else just paid the $5 you’re the only one saying anything.” For her to have such an attitude for their discrepancy is very unprofessional and unwelcoming. It makes no sense for carving supplies to be included but not the pumpkin. If someone does not want to pay an extra $5 they are then stuck with a non refundable ticket having to pay for supplies they didnt use. Seems like an at the door money grab to me. We then asked if there were specific drinks included in the open bar or if we could get anything we want from their regular menu. She says yes we can order whatever we want. However, when we tried ordering pumpkin espresso martinis we were told that the open bar is only for well drinks, wine, or sangria. Another disappointment. The night turned around as I ended up winning second place in the pumpkin contest, and signed my email on a piece of paper for them to contact me. I was told I would receive an email on Monday (Oct 27th) about how to claim my prize, which was a margarita tower. However, I never received the email and I checked my spam. Days after the event, I see more instagram posts advertising the same event- again with different prices. One post said the price was $50 and a few days later the next post said $60. I dont even feel the event was worth the cost when I paid $40! I commented on one of the posts explaining that I never got the email about my prize and no one ever responded to me. The posts were then deleted and I still have not received the email about claiming my prize.

We booked a birthday party with the event manager Sara, only to show up and find that the staff had no idea anything was scheduled. The event, which was planned weeks in advance, was somehow not communicated to the staff. The bar was packed, nothing was prepared, and the event started almost an hour late because of the chaos. To top it off, Sara was dismissive and actually told us we could leave if we wanted to. She did not take responsibility. The only person who helped at all was Joe — he did his best under the circumstances, but the overall experience was a mess. We regret having the party here. It was embarrassing to walk into what we thought was a birthday party, only to see a completely packed bar with people we did not know. And we had to ask 4 different people multiple times to finally get what we paid for. We had the party here after a friend had hers here a few years ago. Our experience was completely different. So so so frustrating and disappointing. I will say the drinks were good. The attached video shows the top floor after our birthday party was supposed to have started. The event manager told us there may be a few people at the booths wrapping up dinner. The entire place was full and we only know about 7 people in this video. Wish I could write a better review but this was ridiculous.

It’s the first time being here, and it’s also the last time. We walked passing by it on Saturday morning, and it looked fun with music and open space. We ordered steak&egg and the Benedict with lobster. The portion was very small. Steak& egg was okay. The benedict got done wrong twice. It missed lobster the first time and missed the guacamole the second time. The Benedict was served with corn bread, which tasted a bit weird for me. No one paid attention to us even though we were seating right near the door. Also, it doesnt make sense to me that they automatically charge 20% tip for all tables. To be honest, I dont feel like the service was worth 20% tip even though they are nice people. In the end, i was waiting for my partner in bathroom and the server came to clean the table including our water cups. We didnt even stay that long for the meal. I think it was just less than an hour. Anyway, i dont recommend people to go here for food. However, the atmosphere seems fun.

We had the best time here - all thanks to our lovely server, Avery! She was so attentive even though it was busy and made sure we were constantly taken care of. Came here for an event and had a terrible experience, would leave 0 stars is possible. I booked the pumpkin carving event which was posted via Instagram and specifically stated everything including supplies as well as open bar was included with the ticket. Myself, and others in their comments were very confused as to if our tickets were still valid. Upon arrival to the event we are told we have to pay another $5 each to carve the pumpkins. When we asked why and even showed how on the ticket it says everything is included, we are told carving supplies are but not the actual pumpkins. Why would i pay for supplies but not the actual pumpkin? And if i didn’t want to pay the extra $5 i would still be getting charged for supplies i didn’t use which makes no sense. When we ask about this, the employee just acts annoyed and said “well everyone else is just paying the $5 soooo”. Then we ask if ANY drinks on the menu are part of the open bar, to which we are told yes. However when we tried to order espresso martinis, we are told that is not part of the open bar and only a small selection of drinks are included in the deal. Of course the lowest quality drinks. I emailed the contact on the website to explain my disappointment with the experience to which I got a very unprofessional reply. Lack of correct grammar and just being told it’s still a good deal. Despite if it’s a good deal or not, it is not the deal that was advertised or that i bought a ticket for. Especially when the tickets are non refundable. Will not be back and would not recommend.

The food was delicious. I ordered shrimp and grits and home fries. My sister ordered grits, turkey bacon and eggs. The server was nice but took him awhile to check on us. We had to flag him down. He was serving table outside and in the back of the restaurant. They can use more servers to be more attentive. Bill was $108.00. We also order the non alcohol drinks that was on the menu. I went there today 5/24/24 for happy hour drinks are $7. I got the garlic mash and crab cake. The food wasn't good to me. They charges me $9 for happy drinks that are supposed to be$ 7. 28-10=18. 18÷2 =9

Came early Saturday evening and the place was pretty quiet but homey and welcoming. Got the steak frites, ordered medium rare but it came out medium. Thankfully it was juicy and flavorful. Also got the wings which were really well cooked and tender. Would say the place is worth a visit for good food and an easy atmosphere. Server was also really friendly and helpful.

We have been a couple of times and the food has been good. Today we had chicken and waffles and fish with fries as well as mimosas. The main complaint is there was no discernable part of chicken, just humks of breading with some chicken inside... almost like tempura but more crunchy. We took home leftovers but it turned out to be just more breading and very little chicken. I'd probably just get shrimp and grits like last time. That was excellent.

I liived in Clinton Hill my whole life, but for some reason had never been here until I came for brunch with my friends — and I was shocked in the best way. The brunch menu was excellent, the food was delicious, and the bottomless drinks were on point. Amanda, our server, was absolutely lovely and made the experience even better. My friend ordered the grits (which I usually don’t like), but after trying a bite I realized I actually love the way they make them here. No complaints at all about this place. I’ll definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant with a friend and the overall experience was average. The ambiance was pleasant , but we faced an issue upon arrival. Although we had a reservation for 8 PM, the host asked us to wait and we ended up waiting around 15 minutes, which was inconvenient considering the reservation. As for the food, it was okay not bad, but nothing special. Some dishes were decent, while others were quite plain and didn’t stand out. The service once seated was good, but overall, I expected a bit more based on the reviews I had seen. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but with more realistic expectations.

Great ambiance and we sat on the patio, ordered the white sangria pitcher (amazing, tastes like juice but is indeed not juice). We got 6 things between me and my boyfriend (both eat a lot) and we were extremely full. highlights of what we got were the Gambas al Ajillo, 10/10, Patatas bravas also 10/10, great to pear with whatever meat/seafood you get. Also the Croquetas de Setas were amazing and the Montado de Bistec y Chorizo was perfection. Would recommend this place for a date night or girls night. 6 things + the pitcher was ~160 before tip so its pricey but can be made more affordable as most items are $14-$16.

Cute little spot with amazing tapas. We got the mushroom truffle croquetas, the seafood paella and sangria which were absolutely delicious. On top of that our server Tim was super friendly as well. Definitely would go back!

I got off work and was craving a good drink and meat and cheese board. I stumbled upon this place very randomly. Quickly was sad and got a seat at the bar. I was planning to stay for Just one drink and charcuterie but I ended up having a whole meal Food - I got cheese and meat while I waited and it was all good. However u can tell it’s not enough bread right when they dropped it off and I asked thay moment for more - they took quite a while To provide the bread tho. We got the more expensive option of the chefs choice shortly after - I knew this was gonna be too much food but I couldn’t help myself. It started with a cheap salad which was fine (is this really a chef choice). All appetizers and tapas were excellent. The croquet and expensive jamon shined but all tasted great. Patatos were amazing too We got the meat paella (against my choice) cus my partner doesn’t like fish. It was fine. It was my least favorite of all the dishes served. Was sad to see the garlic shrimp wasn’t served with the chef choice cus it’s one of the best dishes in Spain. And also saw a lot of people order some bread dish. My partner is a huge dessert person and sadly the churros were undercooked and we didn’t even finish them. Sad way to end the meal. Overall a great experience. The blue cheese olives were amazing too

Nice Spanish food, the highlight was their 48 month aged jamon Iberico and the patatas bravas. Paella was nice, but similar to most paella you will have had before. Churros a bit dry, and the chocolate sauce too watery for my personal preference. Means the sauce does not hold onto the churros. Cocktails were great. Overall good, great place for friends, loved the vibes.

Food was great but my waiter looked like he was very unhappy with 20% tip. How much I’m supposed to tip???? After I paid and asked for my dessert to go he literally just left my dessert at the next table with no bag and he was def not gentle or nice AT ALL when he put it down. at that point i swear i wanted my money (tip) back.

Lovely professional staff between the hostess and our terrific server, Manuel. Excellent customer service. A group of 9 of us ordered multiple tapas where every dish was delicious. Yummy wine(!), Sangria(!) and beer... what a lovely evening!!! The setting was cozy (but still people filled) and it felt like we were in Europe!

The BEST meal I had during my last visit to NY! I had the pleasure of dinning at this gem during restaurant week! Everything about it is a win! Let’s first start with the amazing service! Every staff was friendly and provided recommendable service from the moment we walked in! The ambiance : they have a corner spot so it’s perfect for those that like to enjoy a meal outside. The patio area is cute as is the indoor area. Think bright colors and carribean vibes! Now for the food- simply put, I was blown away! Admittedly I was not expecting much from this spot, but boy was I wrong!! I started with a watermelon salad and ordered the jerk chicken with veggies as my main meal! Now I know you are thinking what can be so special about a watermelon salad? It was just good! I appreciated every ingredient included ! It was very refreshing. My favorite part of the meal was the jerk chicken. Hands down the BEST jerk chicken I have ever had! It is tender and full of flavor !! When I say I finished this meal and left no crumbs it was that good!!! My sister had the jerk mushroom lettuce wraps. Her entree was the friend snapper and to end it off she had rum cake! I have to admit I enjoyed my meal more ! However her food was good too! I really enjoyed the aioli sauce that accompanied the fish entree. NOTE: for restaurant week you can opt to order off the restaurant week menu. It is 3 courses for $45! The only item I would not order again is the rum cake! It was not your traditional Caribbean rum cake. It is more of a white cake with coconut flavors. I could not taste the rum. While the cake was moist and generally a good cake/ it was just not what I expected for rum cake. To sum everything up, you MUST visit Ms. Lilly’s!! It’s 10’s across the board for me ! I will be stopping by the next time I am in the city? There is so much I want to try!

According to my partner—who may be slightly biased as a proud Jamaican—it’s home to the best jerk chicken in all five boroughs.

Miss Lily’s is one of the most consistent Jamaican restaurants you’ll find in Manhattan. Everything on the menu is always available which is rare for a Jamaican spot! The food is very good, and you can tell they take pride in maintaining quality. The aki and saltfish leans more on the saltfish side they’re not too heavy on the aki but it’s still delicious and well-seasoned. The roti is always soft and fresh, which is a big plus. The decor really captures the vibe of a bar straight out of Jamaica colorful, lively, and full of energy. On weekends, there’s usually a live DJ playing great dancehall and reggae, adding to the island feel. Overall, Miss Lily’s delivers both in atmosphere and flavor a must-visit if you want a true taste of Jamaica in NYC. 🇯🇲🔥

Came for the restaurant week brunch. Excellent ambiance, DJ/music, food/drinks, and service! I enjoyed a three-course meal — Codfish fritters, Jamaican breakfast, and coconut cream rum cake. I drank a rum punch. Everything was flavorful! Definitely returning for brunch and other dining times.

I can’t say enough good things about the good eats, service by our waitress Bri, and atmosphere at Lily’s Restaurant. As a person that has to eat gluten free foods, I was pleasantly surprised to find several GF options on the menu! They were all YUMMY!!! They even have a chocolate GF dessert option that was rich and plantain based! I can’t wait to go back there. Great experience!

Food here is excellent. I had the oxtail and loved it. We didn’t realize they have a DJ for brunch so was not prepared for the noise lol. Their frozen drink machine also wasn’t fully operational yet, which was unfortunate because I wanted a frozen drink. Food is pricey, but this is a solid choice for Jamaican food.

New Review 9/29/24: Soco has fallen off. I went on Sunday afternoon and it was severely understaffed. The waiter said multiple times he was new but the food took well over an hour to come out. The handed is chipped plates for our appetizers. Sad to say the owner was mixed the drinks because there was no bartender. The food was okay but after a long wait it's hard to be happy with what you get. This was once a go to spot to have good food and vibes. I hope they are able to bounce back. Old Review: The staff is friendly. Fish and grits as well as the mussels were very tasty.

My first time here. I had dinner with a friend and the food is great. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Normally I don't pay attention to music but they even had live music. I would definitely come back here. The cornbread tasted like a cupcake. 😋

Weekend brunch opens at 12pm strictly. When the shades are pulled up the place is open. Nice space. We were seated at a big table since there were 5 of us. The staff were nice and the music was great. The place filled up quickly and got very loud which was fine. Food was pretty good. The mimosa carafe was $48 but tasted pretty good. Portion size was on the smaller side compared to other restaurants. Red velvet pancakes were not bad. The fish and grits were really good. The fried chicken was really good.

I have been going here for years it haven't been since covid, we ordered the Catfish app which was so delicious, practically melted in my mouth after a very satisfying crunch. Next week got the red velvet chicken and waffles (which at one point this dish was what they were known for) well after pouring a very thick cold syrup over my chicken and waffle, (some would argue with me, but I don't care I love syrup on my chicken when in eating those dishes, which is much favorite go too) I first cut into the waffle and it seems good but when I put it in my mouth I was not happy, it was very dense and chewy, and then I asked my daughter so you think they changed the recipe, well for starters it was nown2 square waffle as opposed to the round Belgium waffle I was used too. So when the lovely young lady came to ask about our experience so far, I hesitated but then explained the situation to her, she asked if I wanted another set, I declined, a few moments later when came out with a waffle that was better but still not good enough. I tried to eat it but just couldn't, but on the other hand the chicken was superb, well seasoned just enough crunch for the meal and the portion was great as I didn't even eat the waffles. The drinks were very refreshing too. We had flavored lemonade that tasted like they took the fruit and muddled it eight into the glass, very delicious. I joked with my dining buddy, this was our punishment for going to get chicken and waffles after our gym workout. 😆 p.s we had the place all too our selves 💜

The Sunday brunch was so really good. The food was amazing and everything really did taste amazing. The drinks were strong and delicious as well. There were a lot of people there at this time which prolonged our food more than the average time. We had a party of 6 people and had to ask for water a couple times instead of being given the water bottles for the entire table. There also weren't able to accommodate a vegetarian who wanted to have red velvet waffles without the fried chicken. The dish wasn't able to be separated, because it was a "Soco Specialty". So be mindful of your dietary restrictions when coming here. Overall the experience and food was really good and the I would definitely go again.

The food was great especially the mac and cheese!!. The host was pleasant and the waitress was great. I forgot her name but she made the experience of being at this location for mother's day weekend great. She was on point with everything. It was my first time too. I will surely go back a next time.

Wow, and wow, and wow, and wow... we went for brunch, and are trying to head back for dinner before we drive back home to Boston. You walk in, and the DJ's music hits you, and you're nodding your head while you walk to your table to be seated. Amazing atmosphere, and beautiful people... but the star of the show is the FOOD! Lobster and Shrimp grits... PERFECTION. Mac and cheese... PERFECTION. Haven't had the dinner yet, but you will NOT be disappointed in the brunch. All i can say is WOW!

Very delicious food, coffee, and service. The place was packed, yet the service was very attentive and fast serving. I highly recommend their carbonara pasta and the French toast. I do not recommend their white sangria, which was more like sparkling water with citrus flavor.

Loooved this place. They had a nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. We did the bottomless brunch (which not many places do on a weekday) which is 60minutes. On the 60 minutes we got at least 7 drinks each, the service was so good, we got refills immediately. The food was excellent. The outdoor seating area in the back has a retractable roof so they can adjust it if there is too much sun.

I was actually enjoying my food ordered through Uber Eats until I pulled hair out of my food, the spinach to be precise. I called just to relay and offer advice to a manager, however the person who answered did not let me speak to one or failed to identify themself as a manager if they were one. I was offered a discount on a future order, however I refused as I don’t see myself ordering again. The food was tasty and if the hair wasn’t there, I would’ve definitely been a repeat customer. Hope better food prep is done in the future to avoid this happening again to anyone else.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and freshly made, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Prices were reasonable , and overall everything was really enjoyable. Would definitely come back!

I'm writing this review with only having visited one time. This is not typical for me. The calamari was so ridiculously delicious, I had to put the good word out. I am very weary of ordering calamari anywhere. It's always just the rings often purchased frozen from restaurant suppliers. This calamari is simply divine and melted in my mouth. It's a must order. Looking forward to coming back for another meal. Other notes- service is very friendly and attentive. Prices, particularly for this neighborhood, are good.

Came here with colleagues for a business dinner. It was fantastic. All of the food was delicious and they had a great wine and cocktail menu with mocktails too. I got the gnocchi pesto and it was cooked to perfection. The waiters are very attentive and the service was fabulous. I would highly recommend.

First time at Fonda's. Our server was Joffre. My wife and I saw the Google reviews and figured let's give them a try. We have done over 10 Mexican restaurants in the last 2 years throughout New York City since this is her favorite type of food. For appetizers we ordered the chips and guac which tasted good but the portion was a severe disappointment. As the pictures will show the guacamole bowl was only 3/4 of an inch filled as you can see by the residual marks. We ordered tacos. My wife and I had the steak tacos and our son had the fish tacos. Tacos were good. We all got ginger ale with a glass of ice and as you can see from one of those pictures the ice cup had a human hair in it which matched our waiters hair to the t, as none of us at the table had hair similar to this strand. After calling him (Joffre) over and pointing to the hair in the cup and saying it to him in Spanish there is a hair(2 inches) in my cup to not draw the attention of other patrons. Telling him "pelo" and pointing to it because he acted like he couldn't see it until I took out my phone and took a picture and showed him on zoom. Instead of being cordial and apologetic he took the glass and said I'll replace it. No apology, no sorry for the disgusting long long hair in your cup. He came back with a new cup of ice but this second cup of ice also had debris in it. At that point I just decided to share my glass of ice and drinks with my wife and leave the filthy cup at the table as a bell weather. We paid and still tipped the waiter for his poor actions and service. We will not be back as this was a disappointment.

Three of us stopped by this restaurant for a late weekday dinner, around 9–10 PM. It wasn’t very crowded, and we were seated right away. I wasn’t too hungry, so I ordered a bowl of guacamole served with pita chips and corn tortillas. It was fresh, with onion and cilantro, but nothing special—just a very standard guac. (I’ll admit I’m picky about Mexican food, having tried some of the best spots in Mexico City, so take that as a judgmental note!) My vegetarian friend ordered an enchilada and was satisfied, while another friend got a cheese fondue-style dish, served sizzling with toppings, which he enjoyed. The ambience was pleasant, and the service was good. That said, I was hoping for some street-style tacos, but the menu didn’t have them, and the server couldn’t confirm. Overall, it was an okay experience—my guacamole was fine but very basic.

Loved the night time atmosphere. Our server was very attentive & kind. I lived in Mexico for 6 months & this place had great authentic food. Its not tex-mex so don’t expect that. Drinks were great. A bit pricey but totally worth it. One of the first placed I’ve seen to have Chiles en Nogada (a staple in MX during this time of yea only).

Pretty small spot for Mexican food. The cocktails are tasty as well as the food. The place has two tables outside in the front of the restaurant, and a small backyard that fits a few tables as well.

Excellent food, though definitely on the expensive end for Mexican food. Their beet + avocado salad is exceptional, as well as their guacamole. I know some people have reviewed complaining the portions are small but I ended up with leftovers and the guacamole was definitely a 2 person serving. Our server and the host were both so nice and attentive. Could have been that we were there very early on a rainy Tuesday for dinner and therefore were the only ones in there. But either way the service was excellent. I've been multiple times before and when it gets busy it gets BUSY. I would avoid this place for brunch and busy weekend nights unless you want to be crammed into a place with loud pumping music and where the full party needs to be present to be seated even though there's nowhere to wait.

Let me preface this one star review by saying I really like this place. The food and drink are both great. The reason for the low rating? I ordered the guacamole for two for 16$ recently and got this (attached photo). It was enough for 4 chips each. Full bucket of chips after finishing. When it came out I asked the server if he was sure this was the guac for 2. He confirmed. I flagged the head waiter and he said the same thing. No apologies, just the way it is. This is the biggest rip off I've seen at a restaurant in a while. Avocados aren't that expensive. I'll still come back, but never ordering the guac again.

Kind staff and amazing food. The decor begs for you to take your pics! The food was delicious. Dessert! Don't skip it! The cheesecake with the berry compote was incredible! They do have a DJ come in around 8pm on the weekends. It can get a little loud with the increased volume in music. Just something to be mindful of. I highly recommend to book a reservation.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of either dish I ordered. The tuna tartare lacked flavor, and the octopus tasted like it had been sitting for a while. That said, I did thoroughly enjoy the Greek wine, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It seemed like most of the guests were tourists, like myself, rather than locals. The service was okay, but nothing remarkable. The server could’ve shown a bit more personality. One nice touch was the manager stopping by each table, which added a welcoming element.

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon for a drink and ended up ordering the chocolate mousse cake and a glass of white wine on the staff’s recommendation. Went with a Sauvignon Blanc, which was pretty nice. The dessert was sweet and melted perfectly in the mouth, and the flakes on the vanilla ice cream paired so well together. Would love to come back for a proper meal next time!

This place is cozy and delicious. My husband and I went for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The waiter gave us free drinks. The lamb was so tender. Every dish we had was full of flavor.

This place is insane! The vibes and the music is poppin. The food is so good. Everything tasted so fresh. The bar had great drinks and very kind bartenders. I had to give this a 3/√-star for atmosphere because there are 2 floors with djs. When we went, we had a large bday party so they sat us downstairs where every other large table had a birthday party as well. The classy family style dinner quickly turns into a rave during your meal and it can be jarring for some. You can't hear anything except for the music and so many folks were standing on their chairs waving their dinner napkins in the air. If you love a noisy and lively dinner, this is perfect for you! J

We went for the first time last night to Kyma in Flatiron and had a really amazing experience. From the amazing lamb chops and tiger prawns to the hip and fun atmosphere plus the best mix of Greek, Turkish and Arab music! It was a 10 out of 10 night and look forward to returning soon!

Used to come here all the time when it was at the other location, and was so happy to hear that they came back! We did the bottomless brunch on Valentine's Day weekend, with mimosas. The food was amazing, the portions were much larger than expected, and the drinks were coming at a good pace. Also want to shout out our waitress for paying attention to the allergy note we made on the reservation. After she took our order, she came back and mentioned one of the meals might have cross-contamination and wanted to double check! We ended up changing that order. Overall it was a great experience!

We came in 10 minutes before the kitchen closed as a group of 8, a restaurant’s nightmare, but the staff was accommodating & great. The food was delicious. Some had seafood but most of us had pasta & everyone was thrilled. As a vegan, there were many options. I had the spaghetti ortolano without pecorino & loved it. Next time I will try to homemade limoncello!

This family owned restaurant is a great place to enjoy great food and drinks. The owner and his son make you feel like family when you’re there at the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. Me and my wife went there tonight. The pasta was delicious and the dessert special was the pistachio cream puff. It was to die for. If you’re in the area, you definitely have to go to this place .

The marinade was great, even without the dipping sauce! 4.2/5 Fried Chicken, Papaya Salad,Sticky rice 4/5 Pad Thai - solid flavor, noodles itself were not as expected and overcooked. 3.8/5 Khao Soi -- very tangy, not quite the depth of flavor I expected. Also chicken was subbed for the short rib which they were out, but price was not altered, which I found a bit unfair. Soothr's chicken khao soi would still be my top pick in NYC. 4/5 Crab Omelette -- quite generous portion of crab, could use some more seasoning, a bit on the salty side. 2.5/5 Wagyu Burger -- the patty was unseasoned and quite dry, would not order this again. We had a reservation for brunch on a sunday, it was quite busy and service was on the slower side.

Came here for my mom’s birthday, loved the ambience here, the dim lighting and floral walls. Very aesthetic. It is a bit of a small space but is not too congested. But the main point of this review id like to highlight is that the food definitely matches up with the aesthetic. There are restaurants that look pretty but their food is lacking. This is not the case here! Everything was so so flavorful, we ended up ordering more than we expected because it was so good. They also have great mocktail options for those who don’t drink which I really appreciated!

Came here for the lunch special and it was really worth it amongst other places/eating in the city in general! The atmosphere is very nice (faux flowers and string lights in a greenhouse setting with nice music) the staff were very nice attentive and accommodating (the papaya salad came with peanuts and when I said I was allergic, they promptly made another one for me :)) and the food was tasty (good portions)! Would come here again and highly recommend to people looking for Thai. We ordered: Chicken Dumplings and Papaya Salad (appetizer), Pad Thai and Pumpkin Curry.

Food is incredible and so flavorful. It seems they change the brunch menu frequently but I’ve never had a mediocre dish here… ever! May be a NYC Top 5 Brunch spot for sure and all the dishes are instagrammable. You have to get the Sangria here it’s so cute and tasty. The crab omelette over rice, chicken & waffles, and Thai Tea a French toast = all equally amazing.

This place is a gem in West Village! I couldn't recommend more for you to try Pinto Garden and experience it yourself! The variation of the menu and food that you can pick and try out. I could tell that this place can serve you great authentic Thai food since I’m from Thailand myself. The shrimp donut with salted egg sauce was out of the world. I couldn’t think of any place that could offer a better yellow curry in Manhattan! The Branzino was also really good. They even took the bone out for us, and my friend and I were really impressed! Lastly, they made a perfect espresso martini!!! Will come back again in no time! Ps. They have a lovely rose garden in the back for you to bring your date for a romantic night.

The atmosphere here is absolutely unique — perfect for a date night. Surprisingly, it wasn’t crowded on a Friday. We ordered the cucumber and pear salad, which was refreshing and interesting. The cauliflower steak was also delicious and a great option for those who don’t eat meat. The potato wedges were tasty as well. Our server, Maria, was friendly and lovely to chat with. The bill was moderate, which made the experience even better!

The food, drinks, and atmosphere are amazing. The lasagna-type dish is out of this world. The squid was excellent. The drinks were delicious. The outdoor seating had a ton of shade and the garden is beautiful. The service was soooooo slow. I would give it another shot to see if the service improves because it was so good. There were two servers. One was working her butt off and the other was folding silverware so read into that what you will. I think they have the opportunity to be sublime but they need to have a hard working team to make it happen.

I had brunch here a few weeks ago while on a trip to Brooklyn. Nestled in a quiet area, this restaurant’s entrance can’t be more pedestrian than the street itself. If you walk by and happen to miss it, you would not be inattentive. It is perhaps an intended presentation, so as not to judge the place by the glitz, but by its substance. Entering the space, one is beguiled and almost immediately transported to an English country manor ambiance. From the wafting soft music to the sun drenched library, to the cozy fireplace and the grandeur of the hardwood floors, you can’t help but feel the very relaxing and inviting charm. The decor and appearance are part of the regal experience and while the menu may not meet a gastronomes cravings, it nevertheless would be quite appealing to a variety of palettes. In that regard we started with a shared stack of Pancakes and Strawberries, which were just delicious. We then had individual servings, with the hearty Croque Pullman, a combination of quintessential breakfast favorites - omelette, toast and bacon, and then then the very appetizing Panino con Frittata, with mouth watering Gruyère, zucchini and caramelized onions. The third dish was the Shakshuka which was a combination of two eggs sunny side up on zesty tomato sauce and bacon. The food was as delectable as one could expect, and the service from the ushers to the servers was just outstanding. Our server, Valentina was as cheery as the surroundings and was very attentive, which added to our great experience. If you are in the area and would like to get a reasonably priced meal in a very charming setting, and not settle for the trite deli or take out experience, this would be a good place to try. It is family friendly and in the summers there is an open garden section with seating in much demand. I think you might find the overall experience just as fulfilling as I did, enough for me to return for another meal on my next visit.

What a beautiful restaurant with both parts cozy and sophisticated on the inside and European vacation on the outside. Very good restaurant in a decent neighborhood. Loved the Pasta with shrimps and cauliflower. Cocktails and drinks are also highly recommended. A bit more pricey but definitely worth the money. There also is a very cute English garden in the backyard which is perfect to sit, eat and talk

From the moment we stepped into Milk & Roses, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The space is absolutely gorgeous, especially the garden, and the team is clearly a well-oiled machine when it comes to events. Susanne was wonderful to work with—super communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. Everything ran so smoothly, from coordination with our vendors to setting up a rain backup plan (which we thankfully didn’t need!). Our guests raved about the food, and the staff on the day of were kind, attentive, and totally on it. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary (in which we did in fact get married here too in May 2023) and had the most immaculate time. This place is such a gem. The ambience is absolutely beautiful and extremely rare to find a place so intimate and whimsical like this in the city. They have so many hidden nooks and cozy rooms, and not to mention the garden which feels like a little dream. (Usually they let you pick wherever you want to sit too, and like us they let us move from the garden to inside when it got chilly). I’ve eaten here for brunch and dinner and both are lovely - but the prawn cacio e pepe had to have been my favorite. We had brunch food at our wedding and all of our guests raved about it especially the bacon and French toast! The staff is always so welcoming and laid back which I love for the intimate and European feel. This time for dinner we had Miriami and she was so personable and friendly and really made our night memorable! When planning our wedding we worked with Suzanne who was incredible!! Truly could not have done it without her, and the entire staff day of did an amazing job. I would do my event with them again any day.

It is truly a unique establishment with the interior being super extra in everything. Even the hooks in the bathroom were mermaid design ! We came for my friends birthday and researched menu online so we were seated as expected. Menu itself here is given on tablets with very nicely designed layout. Our server was an older gentleman who had hard time keeping up so I constantly had to remind him of something or go look for him. Also the cognac was served with ice instead of a warm glass - I also had to go to the bartender to explain why cognac is served warm. Food was very tasty and I was happy to see mussels served in the right pan as in Belgium. The staff was constantly doing arranging and running around which was kinda distracting since the focus needs to be on the guests not the napkins when it's busy. I asked our waiter to make bills as we came in families but we received one bill and when asked hostess to split it the answer was we don't do separate bills otherwise if you want it will be 30 minutes to split them. I have never heard of such rule in a nice restaurant like this. Overall was mediocre experience since we are out of town visiting on a special occasion. The vibe and menu are super good however no structure in management with employees as I saw manager arguing several times right next to our table very loudly with employees. The owner has a true pearl but executive operation is poor and I don't think we will be back.

Came here for brunch with my girlfriend, and we had a wonderful experience 💕 the staff was extremely friendly and kind and even allowed us to stroll around to see just how beautiful the space was. We sat up in the mezzanine, and the Mermaid on the wall is beautiful. We ordered a dozen oysters, and they were delicious and super fresh. The fish tacos were good, but the fish itself was a but on the dry side. The Salmon Egg was delicious, and the Eggs Benedict was spot on yummy in my tummy. This place is beautiful and I want to come back for the dinner vibe which I suspect is going to be wonderful and magical.

Really beautiful place, many different room to sit in, with different decor, very original setting. Got here for the oyster happy hour, but they have lots of other options on happy hour as well, so I got most of the food on happy hour to try. Everything was delicious, oysters were amazing.. they have 4 kinds of oysters to choose from for the happy hour - and they were all amazing. Calamari, pizza, ceviche were all amazing, crab cakes and tartar duo were okay. Drinks are well-crafted, they have specials on them as well. This place is definitely suitable for a big occasion like a wedding dinner, anniversary dinner, or any other special event (they have separate rooms for big parties as well - and they are all beautiful inside). Will definitely come back here again!

A hidden gem. This place is so beautiful 😍 The owner and staff are so sweet and welcoming. There's a family oriented vibe but a great place for adults esp celebrating a birthday or special occasion. We enjoyed the music (there was Caribbean music playing) and atmosphere so much we didn't want to leave but we had been there for hours lol. The food is delicious with a lovely presentation. You will only regret not going especially if you miss out on the brunch special 😉

When we walked in, we were seated immediately. I think because we came before the rush. I would suggest having a reservation. I wanted to order the chicken and waffles. However, after waiting about 20 minutes, I was told that they were out of chicken and waffles. This to me is an oversight on the business because it was still super early and to run out of that item before 3 o’clock as a little bit crazy. I really didn’t want anything else on the menu so I opted for the mac & cheese. The mac & cheese wasn’t good for me. It was cheesy on top, but lacked cheese inside of the main dish. My friend ordered the truffle flatbread. That was pretty good but could have been served a bit warmer. If you’re going for the brunch, I would suggest ordering two drinks at a time because it takes a little bit for the waiters to circle back to us. Our server Helena was really good. She really did try to make our experience a little bit better. Being that they didn’t have any chicken and waffles I asked if I could substitute the steak and eggs. The answer to that was no and I would have to pay an extra $20 if I wanted that entrée. I politely declined, however, had I been running that establishment and ran out of a dish I would’ve tried to make the customer happy by fulfilling that request but that’s just me.🤷🏼‍♀️ Last, but not least on this particular day, they had a group of about 2 to 3 children running around inside of the establishment. At one point there was even a kid on a scooter scooting by the bar area. Very unprofessional in my opinion. This is not the place for children to be playing around when you have customers. (See pics) The place is beautiful inside a lot of different decorations, which makes it unique, but it won’t be enough for me to want to make a repeat visit.

The decor and atmosphere are awesome! Great drinks, quality seafood, and excellent service. Sam the bartender was amazing. He made me the best fresh fruit margarita and even suggested a few spots for me to go party. Definitely check this place out!

Lamia’s Fish Market; is a traditional seafood restaurant serving up a limited menu of items including land items such as meat. Appetizer: the ceviche was bland, lacked life, flavor and texture. Small serving wasn’t great at all. Would not recommend. Dinner: two fishes with butter, lemon and capers. The fish was decent and made up for the awful appetizer. The orders do not come with sides so we ordered, spinach, french fries and mash potatoes. The mash potatoes were a bit cold and lumpy for my taste. The French fries were pretty good. Drinks: the cocktails were decent and tasty. Decor: beautiful tapestry on the ceiling and walls. Detailed lamp fixtures with decorated ceilings and walls. Tasteful and nicely designed. The server isn’t as attentive so we didn’t get a refill on water and had to wave her down several times to get our check. Overall the place is a vibe but the staff seem unfriendly and inattentive. The food needs improvement especially for the price range they are asking. Nonetheless it was a decent dining experience.

Recently, I had an experience that underscored just how crucial this aspect is. My partner kindly ordered me a burrito from a restaurant I enjoy after a long day at work. I was excited to dive into my meal, but upon unpacking my super burrito in a separate tin, I was stunned to find that it only contained beans, chicken, and white rice. For context, this isn’t how it’s supposed to be; it’s typically loaded with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and other delicious ingredients. Feeling disappointed, I decided to call the restaurant to request a refund for my incomplete meal. Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn for the worse. The first person I spoke with, a young lady, informed me that I would have to wait while they reviewed the security footage to verify the preparation of my burrito. It felt as though she was questioning my honesty rather than addressing my valid concern. After that awkward exchange, I was transferred to a representative named Dan. Sadly, my interaction with him was equally frustrating. He told me that I should have called earlier for a refund, disregarding the fact that I was at work when my partner placed the order for me. His tone was condescending, and he seemed more interested in deflecting blame rather than finding a resolution that would leave me feeling satisfied as a customer. Throughout our conversation, he implied that I was fabricating my circumstances, which only added to my frustration. Now, I am formally requesting a full refund due to the lack of effective communication and the overwhelming sense of disregard for my situation. It’s disheartening when I hold a restaurant to a standard of accountability and customer care, only to find they fall short. I believe businesses should prioritize their customers and handle situations with the utmost care and professionalism, particularly when errors occur.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! The breakfast burrito is massive and slept on! I added the al pastor mushrooms and peppers & onions on recommendation from my buddy and I'm so glad I did. They perfectly complemented the beans, fries, eggs, and guac. And they serve the burritos with sturdy tortilla chips! This is definitely a place to come to if you're in the area and hungry. The decor was cool, plenty of seating, clean bathroom, and the staff was nice. Super solid spot.

What drew me to this place was they marketing themselves as California style Mexican food, I pictured the amazing Mexican food I used to get at Taqueria Pancho Villa in the Mission in SF. I tried their Special Burrito and I was not impressed at all, a lot of rice and occasionally you might bump into a small piece of chicken, I thought they are trying to save money in the wrong places. Also the Salsa bar, that’s all the charm of the Cali Mexican style, it was not impressive, water down sauces, none of them were actually spicy! The backyard is nice but on Vanderbilt everyone likes to sit on the sidewalk, why not have outdoor seating like everyone else! The service was good.

Maya Taqueria is hands-down my favorite taco spot in Brooklyn! The flavors are fresh, vibrant, and full of authenticity you can tell everything is made with care. The tortillas are soft and warm, the fillings are perfectly seasoned, and the salsas add just the right kick without overpowering the dish. I especially love that the portions are generous and the ingredients taste super fresh. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed but lively at perfect for a quick bite or a casual night out with friends. Whether you’re a taco fanatic or just craving something delicious, Maya Taqueria never disappoints!

This place consistently is 20-30 mins late with pickup order times. The worst is that when you arrive their customer service is unfriendly and rude and they act like they don't even have customers. They also apparently stopped giving out chips with burritos. Makes you wonder how else with the food they're trying to save money.

I went to the Queens location of Mamajuana, the vibes was great. Good music, food and atmosphere. Our waiter was Favio and let me tell you, he was excellent. He was pleasant, friendly and he made sure we were having a good time. I would definitely go back and hope to have him again as my waiter.

The food was fantastic, the waitress was super friendly and courteous. However when checking in our party of 6 on a reservation we already had, I was refused for wearing a tank top with tan shorts, but you can let others in with loose T-shirts, Jersey's, sweat pants and muscle shirts, but I showed too much skin lol? There was really no explanation, just attitude from the front desk

Food are perfectly flavored. Staff are great and the atmosphere is perfect for the setting. They also have outdoor seating. Be ready for loud music. There is a club attached to this restaurant but it does not open till 11pm when we were there. We did not get a chance to check out the club that evening.

I’m just coming back here to give an actual feedback instead of just my 5 stars! I loved the energy of the whole staff (the DJ, servers, bartenders, the hostess, etc). The nonstop birthday singings and shoutouts was really fun to see! I appreciate their hard work to keep up the high level upbeat vibe of the place. It was such a remarkable experience. Food was SO DELICIOUS!!! The dominican sushi and mini chimi we got are so good! As well as their mojitos 🤤 I recommend putting in a reservation before coming in! The waitlist is long especially at night/dinner. It took more than an hour for us to get the table but it was worth the wait! I also recommend this because there’s not much to do in the area so you might end up waiting outside for an hour. So reservations seem like a must.

The atmosphere was good, the music gets too loud sometimes you have to be seated next to the speakers so imagine you will have to yell to be heard sometimes the waiter can't actually hear what u said for example i ordered a sweet tea and he brought a hot tea 🤦‍♀️ the food took long to come out and the alcoholic beverages are wayyy too expensive, but the food was delicious if you never been there I recommend to give a try and also it's better if you make a reservation.

We visited during happy hour, got a delicious Malt House IPA and an Old Fashioned (also exceptional!). We had onion rings for the appetizer, the breading was beer-batteref but no so heavy that the onion wasn't allowed to bloom underneath (so to speak). My companion got the American Burger, with an onion jam that made it one of the best he's ever had. I got the Roasted Chicken and the combination of the tarragon, mash potatoes and creamy mushroom sauce made it a welcome comfort to my hungry stomach.

I just went for a quick lunch, but the food, drinks, and service were excellent. I had the chicken dish, and it was absolutely amazing. Don't get me started on that espresso martini 😅. Would highly recommend. 👌🏾

My fiancé chose this because it was the best rated brunch spot in the financial district but they had a very limited food menu for brunch?? The drink options took up almost one and a half pages of the menu. It was before noon but there was still loud club music and TVs with two different channels playing sports. We were one of a few people here but it was still noisy and overstimulating. We remembered that we came here for a very late night dinner one other time. The menu then was still limited, and the TVs and people were very loud also. we couldn’t hear each other talk and I left with a screaming headache. They did call him when he left his credit card so there is a redeeming factor. The side salad that came with the breakfast sandwich was over salted but I’m giving the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because the breakfast sandwich itself was very good. It was served on a ciabatta roll with the initials MH stamped in it, which was a cute touch. If you need a rowdy pre-game for a catered lunch elsewhere then this is your place. But if you prefer something more low key then I would look elsewhere. Sorry.

Service was incredibly fast. Unfortunately I think it compromised the overall quality of the food. Spent 80$ Steak was medium, not medium rare. Cooked so quickly it was hard to cut and a bit stringy. Blueberry cheesecake didn't taste of blueberries. Beer tasted to light it was watered down. Service was attentive and fast, wings were good. I'd come and get a beer and hot wings happy hour and leave.

The atmosphere is perfect for dates or to hang out with friends at the bar. They have seating that’s nestled away for more private conversations or work lunches/dinners. The margarita flight is worth it if it takes multiple drinks for you to get there. They give you favorable portions of food for the price and it was very well seasoned. I am giving 4 stars because service was slow and the place was not busy at all. We had to wait a bit and it was hard to get anyone’s attention.

Unpopular opinion: dim lights NEED to go … enough about the ‘vibes’. I actually want to see my food and company!! One more light bulb won’t hurt the ambiance, I promise !! Had a little dinner with some friends in a cozy part of the city <3 we chose this spot because of the rare promise of affordable food in the East Village (unheard of). I’ve already forgotten what I ordered but it was something whole wheat & lots of sauce. I was grateful they had that in their menu. Whole wheat is so underrated !! And. Complimentary stale cold bread .. I’ll take another plate of that , please & thank you :) Service & the waitstaff were a god send. We made a mistake of underestimating the power of a Friday night. So everyone & their aunts were dining here. Fortunately we were able to opt for the 45 minute dine & go action. We were on a time crunch! But everyone was friendly & understanding. A little suspicious that our food came out so fast but no point in thinking about THAT. overall it was a good experience.

Very cozy, rustic, and comfortable atmosphere. It was easy to have conversations in this restaurant. Not sure who was on aux at the time but they had a killer playlist going. We booked a reservation and they were able to seat our large party of 10. Excellent service. I ordered the shrimp pasta with spaghetti and it got the job done, but next time I would be curious to try something else. Delicious tiramisu.

The food and drinks are amazing, however my experience with the service was not great. We got a text that our table was ready (after we waited the 40 minutes they said it would take) and were told “give us two more minutes”. That 2 minutes turned into 15 and no one came to check on us for another 5 minutes. We were never given water until we asked for a second time and they didn’t bring us a bottle like they did for every other table in the place. Would love to give a higher rating because our food was amazing, but the service was not it.

Absolutely enjoyed my experience here. A friend and I choose this location at random for quality hangout time in the city and we could not have chosen a better spot. I got the Whole Wheat noodles w/ shrimp scampi sauce and thoroughly enoyed that. The garlic bread was the perfect crisp with the right ratio of garlic and oil. The vibe and music were additional benefits. Overall great experience. Thank you to the staff there that day, it was only two waiters and they were doing an outstanding job.

Had a wonderful experience here! The good was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very chill. The pear and gorgonzola ravioli and the pesto caprese panini were both soo good. The prices were also not bad at all, totally worth it for what we were served. Also, the desserts are amazing! We had the cannoli and ricotella and highly recommend them both!

How do I begin. Maybe with the massive flood light that was blasted on the dance floor all night. If you’re looking for a sobering awkward dance experience this place is for you. You wanna see all your friends pores this the place for you. I tried to help but was met by this weird manager lady in an awkwardly awful striped shirt telling me if I don’t like it I could leave. Whatever it ain’t that serious I was there for a friend. But when I saw other people pointing it out we got 36 people on this tiny dance floor to sign a petition to turn it off, she decided to throw me out. I don’t blame the light/stage tech, they were gorgeous, or the security they were very sweet, but the manager clearly doesn’t get out much. I hope she reflects on this moment to understand the experience of dancing under a floodlight while having a late night out with friends, and understands that instead of being stubborn maybe just turn the light off lovey. It’s not that difficult. It wasn’t me getting people into it, as she claimed, but people coming together as a dance floor/customers to point it out as bad vibes. Doing tooooo much to curate awful vibes in some weird fit too. ANYWAYS IF YOU LIKE FLOODLIGHTS THIS THE PLACE TO BE.. But all us normal people will be elsewhere.

Honestly one of my favorite venues. The lighting ISN’T blinding because it’s a beautiful array of lightbulbs on a wall plus some stage lights that never blind the audience. The artists are amazing, everyone is permitted their own instruments and the stage feels like it’s RIGHT there. The atmosphere is amazing. Staff looks and acts amazing too. My only grievance is the place was packed to the BRIM! Once the concert was over, getting to the merch table wasn’t even a line it was a packed, hot, sweaty, blob.

Decent spot for a boogie. At Indie Night they played Kanye and Billie Eilish so it wasn’t so indie. Average age was probably 27. The GM and tonics were good!

DO NOT GO FOR A LIVE MUSIC ACT. The sound system blows! The setup is more like a bar with live music playing in the background than the other way round. PS: Nothing wrong with the service or drinks etc, it’s just not the best place to go specifically for a DJ set.

Absolutely blown away by the Trinix show! The music was incredible, and the venue handled the sold-out crowd flawlessly. Huge shoutout to the bartenders – they were super nice and kept everyone served quickly. A perfect night!

I really want to love this place but it’s been hit or miss. The first live music show I went to here was great, no complaints. But the most recent one was 50 minutes late for doors, then there was another 40 minute wait between bands. It was a little ridiculous, especially for a show that was already scheduled for a late night time slot.

I had a great time here for dinner with friends! It was easy to get a reservation for a large group, but I definitely recommend reserving because they were pretty busy when we came on a Wednesday. The spritz flight ($24) for their summer happy hour is a great deal, 3 full-sized drinks! They also have rotating daily drink specials like martinis, picklebacks, etc. We had oysters and the bar tower. I loved the fish tacos (perfectly crispy!), but the cauliflower and fries were average. Our server was sweet and everything came out quickly. It's somewhat loud, but I didn't have a problem hearing everyone at my table.

We came here for a fun girls’ brunch and had the best time! The vibe was super lively and perfect for anyone looking for a good time. We did the bottomless option and loved how many drink choices there were — Aperol spritzes, raspberry bellinis, vodka cold brews, mimosas, and more. You can even switch it up each round, which made it extra fun. Huge shoutout to our server Juan for being so quick with refills! The whole place was decorated so cute for Halloween, the 2000s throwback playlist was amazing, and there were TVs everywhere for catching college games. For food, we tried the bananas foster French toast, burger, grilled cheese, and breakfast burrito — all delicious and done really well. Overall, such a great brunch spot! Perfect for birthdays or big groups — they even offer complimentary birthday cake, a champagne toast, and party favors. Highly recommend adding this to your weekend brunch list!

I’ve been here twice, about a year apart. The first time, I loved the outdoor seating with high tables—it had a great vibe. Unfortunately, those tables are gone due to the changes the city made and the current outdoor space feels really small and cramped. If outdoor dining is important to you, I wouldn’t recommend it sitting outside. That said, the food is incredible. Their $1.50 oysters are a steal—I’ve paid $40 at raw bars for smaller, less flavorful ones. The happy hour deals here are strong, and I really appreciate that they offer happy hour mocktails (only two, but still rare to see). Overall, I do recommend this spot—but I’ll definitely be sitting inside next time.

I rlly like it. The people r ooooooh so nice. The candles add a sense of romantic atmosphere that is simply unmatched. As soon as I walk in, the aroma of fresh beer and food is indistinguishable. As for the seating, it is incredibly cozy. To sit here with my friends is a delight like no other. The social atmosphere is perfectly curated for intimate yet extroverted conversation.

We had such a great experience thanks to our waiter! He was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us. He was friendly, personable, and made the whole dinner so enjoyable. The little details—like checking in at the right times, remembering our preferences, and keeping everything moving smoothly—really stood out. Honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He turned a good meal into a great night.

Went for the first time. Atmosphere welcoming and gives a chill relaxed vibe. The service was great. The food was really good too. Yes to the potato skins, and the wings were really good, just wish they were crispy. Can't wait to try more wing flavors!

The bar/restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. It was established in 2004. They have an additional location in Staten Island. The restaurant prepares American cuisine. Soups, salads, appetizers, burgers, pizza, chicken wings, sandwiches, bowls, entrees, sides and beverages are available. Servers take requests for dining in. Several televisions broadcast sporting events.

I have ordered three times now, each time worse than the time before. I always order a burger medium rare. Every time it arrived it well-done. This last time, it arrived very quickly, but the fries were soggy and seemingly undercooked, the bun, broken apart and the wings completely dried out. Literally some of the worst food I’ve had lately. I mean if you can’t cook a burger right… Mayeb it’s better when you don’t in. It the delivery definitely sucks.

Straightforward sports/pub style bar. Decent drinks, decent wine and beer options. Fantastic bar food. 89c wing Wednesdays are genius. I’ve been here many times and never left disappointed. Last night I came by with a friend. Had 12 wings. Classic Buffalo/ JackD (my personal go too!), we also shared their classic burger and fries. Top notch high quality meat, clearly well organized and prepared as food comes quickly after ordering. As a person who is in the hospitality industry I can confidently say Kettle black is doing it all right.! Keep it up and thank you!

First off, the wings here are crazy good and if you ask for them super spicy you'll get it. That's enough reason to show up. The bar is homey with a great vibe and tons of regulars, and the bartenders treat everyone who walks in the door as if they're a friend. Shout out to Eric who really made me feel welcome from the start and gave me a fantastic place to kill a few hours. I'll definitely be back, hopefully soon.

Me and my friends came here for the first time last night and it was absolutely amazing. Chris was our server, he gave us great recommendations! Food & drinks came out fast and everything was absolutely delicious! Will definitely have to come back.

It seems we came on an off day for bottomless brunch, they were short staffed and the drinks were not too strong. Food took a while to come out and only seat complete party. The fries were soggy, but the chicken was good. Overall very ok and seems to draw the crowd with tv screens and sports.(bowling sport). Staffs were very nice tho. Big space and has a downstair.

First off brunch is cash only. Not the worst thing just a heads up. Unfortunately went and the staff was obviously understaffed. Waited an hour just to order food and get mimosas started. Now the mimosas arrived in a tall beer glass, which wouldn't have been a problem cuz the more bottomless the better. However, there wasn't a hint of bubbly to be found. You pay extra for bottomless mimosas yet its just a premixed juice mix. Once food did arrive, it wasn't terrible. But not a place you'd go back to. The two stars are simply cuz it was obviously a managerial issue. Staff was polite, backyard patio is cute and has a little water feature that is cute for photo ops

The restaurant is a Vīb (pronouncing vibe with my Haitian accent lol). No but it is aesthetically pleasing on the eyes and the atmosphere was great. Great company and good food is all you need for a great time and a great time is what I had here. The food was great and brunch is bottomless. Also, the waiters keep your glass full at all times 😊.

Actually was a little skeptical of this restaurant before entry because the outside looked a bit run through. However, it was a different story inside.. the place is casual chic and pretty spacious for celebrations.. which was happening upon our 3 o'clock afternoon arrival.. Anyway, we waited an hour for the dinner menu and glad we did because the food was delish. I had a grilled salmon with asparagus and crab cakes for my appetizer(they were ok). My goddaughter had some type of chicken with spinach which she said was good. Our waiter miguel was great. The only complaint was the party we had to move for because they brought their crowd from the back to the front and were literally over our table. The staff said nothing to them. That was my annoyance but I would return again.

We walked in for brunch on a Tuesday as a group of 4 and we were seated without a wait. We had called ahead and they confirmed that they do boozy brunches every day. When we got there, the waitress said they didn't have mimosas and they were only available on the weekend. Instead, she offered to make us any cocktail. When we tried to order our food, some of the menu items weren't available. The waitress said that they were only available on weekends. She also mentioned that they were updating their menu but didn't have new copies available yet. It took us 3 tries before we found food and drinks that were actually available. We ordered the Hang Burger, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and 2 Govner Omelettes. We also ordered a few of the cocktails on their menu, but some of them were unavailable. However, the waitress made us any cocktail they had the ingredients for and even gave us one of her own creations. Overall, it was a bit messy because of the availability of ingredients available. The staff was super nice and tried to accommodate us as best as possible. The food was solid, but I don't think I would come back up until the menu and ingredients are clearly communicated.

Not a great experience. The waiter told us they didn’t have any Bloody Mary’s yet that is the reason we came here. The food was okay not great. They served us a Burrata salad with no Burrata - we sent it back to the kitchen at which point they added it which was SUPER weird. We can’t believe the kitchen not only sent that out but that the waitress didn’t notice that the dish was missing the main component. I would not recommend and I won’t be back.

Chef was very accommodating to make pescatarian dishes for my party. Bartenders were personable and made the experience enjoyable. Floor manager was very hectic and unkind towards patrons and staff.

Great atmosphere and super chill vibes! I liked that they had bottomless brunch, but you could still talk and have a conversation without super loud music. The staff is super friendly, and I didn't feel like they were rushing us like many brunch spots in the city. I would highly recommend coming here. They weren't expensive, and they have a large selection on their brunch menu of entrees.

The most potent mimosas I’ve had! Loved the buttermilk chicken sandwich. It was delicious. The omelettes were tasty as well. The only thing I’d say that took off their star was the fact that the service was very slow initially. We waited for 20 mins before someone came to take our order. And the place wasn’t very crowded either. Other than that, great food, great drinks!

Had an amazing dinner at at The Crooked Knife celebrating a friends birthday! James C was a superb waiter who was very kind and attentive keeping our glasses full! The food was delicious highly recommend the rib eye steak and the salmon. We also had the nachos, chicken tenders, and fries for appetizers. The restaurant had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would come back again!

Celebrated a birthday brunch here. Very accommodating staff and meals were great (a nice-sized portion too). For the sized party we were I'm glad we were able to enjoy ourselves and find that the bill was also reasonable!! The Crooked Knife definitely has a toasty atmosphere that makes brunching fun, especially in the winter. No complaints :)

Really cool atmosphere that was great for a birthday brunch! Prices are affordable, and they have options for brunch with a drink or brunch with bottomless. We went with a large group of 10 and received great service. It did take a bit for the food to come out, but we were a large group. I had the Bloody Mary and the merguez cheddar omelet. I found the Bloody Mary a little too horseradish tasting and chunks would get stuck in the straw. The omelet was decent. The home fries lacked flavor and needed hot sauce and salt. Overall, okay food and a fun atmosphere!

Went here because my friend really wanted a bottomless brunch in Brooklyn, and this is one of the few places that offers it. We both got the Merguez Cheddar Omelette that was maybe over-salted, but a bite of home fries and salad was so good I didn’t mind. We shared a pitcher of passion fruit Bellini and then another of mimosa. It was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday brunch vibe, but it was a gray day in March. Would go again for sure!

Baron’s is a great place for brunch! Residential Parking is quite easy in this neighborhood. Inside the restaurant has a great vibe with awesome decor. The seating area in the back was warm on a cold winter day. The lighting is dim and intimate, and there were duos and larger groups dining. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The mint tea was delicious, especially when adding the honey, but still good without. I enjoyed the Brioche French Toast, it was sweet and flavorful. The additions of the caramelized banana and spiced walnuts were a unique touch, although the blueberries were quite sour. My dining companion enjoyed the Fried Chicken Sandwich, particularly the flavor and texture combination of the chicken with the coleslaw. This came with french fries, which were absolutely delicious and definitely worth coming back for! We would have ordered more fries if we had the stomach space. Overall we left full and satisfied with the food, vibes, and service and will come back to try more items on their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our wedding in this restaurant. It was wonderful! The owner of the restaurant, Nicole, did everything to make us feel comfortable and festive. Her husband, Chef Vittorio, in addition to delicious food from the restaurant menu, made two original dishes on our order. Bartender Joe was attentive and elegant. Food, service, Interior, acoustics - everything was great. Neither we nor our guests had a single awkward moment, everyone left impressed and satisfied. Thank you, guys! If we stay together long enough we'll come back to celebrate anniversary 😄

I finally tried their famous pancakes this weekend, and let me tell you.. they deserve every bit of the hype. Fluffy, lil crispy on outside, and served with their homemade maple butter sauce that’s honestly addictive.. it’s what makes this dish so uniquely delicious. We also ordered the raspberry yogurt cupcake (light, tangy, and perfectly balanced) and their fried chicken, which was crisped to perfection with a beautiful honey dressing and some hot sauce that tied everything together. Every bite felt like comfort food done right. Simple ingredients, but executed flawlessly. The best part? Despite it being a weekend morning, I didn’t have to wait in the infamous line (which can get really long). I booked ahead on Resy, and it made the experience seamless, definitely recommend doing that if you’re planning a visit. Bottom line: come hungry, book ahead, and don’t skip the pancakes. They might just be the best in NYC

Hands down one of the best brunch places in NY! We been coming here for years and is always consistent! The food is delicious with great quality and the cappuccino always on point! Our favorites are the Blueberry Pancakes (super fluffy), Chicken and Waffles (crispy) and the Special Waffle with the seasonal fruit (fresh). The Maple Butter is a perfect combination! Plenty of indoor seating. Service is always excellent and efficient! Staff always friendly! Also, make a reservation it gets really busy specially on the weekends. Highly recommend it!

Clinton Street Baking Company is the perfect spot for breakfast any time of day, even dinner! My friends and I shared an amazing spread: the Brioche French Toast with caramelized bananas, Pancakes with Warm Maple Butter, Crispy Potato Pancakes, and a Fried Chicken Sandwich. Every dish was flavorful, comforting, and very filling, definitely come with an appetite. The staff were kind, patient, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, even with a last-minute to-go order. The space at night feels cozy and relaxed, with warm lighting and a lively atmosphere that makes it great for groups or a casual night out.

Wonderful brunch in a cool neighborhood in NYC. Loved the big windows. Hope they can expand somehow. Everything we got was delicious, though they are light on the salt. Didn’t mind! We started with coffee and a hot buttered rum. Our mains were Spanish scramble with biscuit, Clinton St omelette with biscuit, and blueberry pancakes. I’ll admit I have a sweet tooth but the buttered rum and pancakes were the stars of an already delicious show. We’ve already made a reservation for our next visit.

five leaves was the first restaurant i visited on my first ever trip to nyc in 2017. ever since then coming back here has become a tradition. 8 years on and the spot is still just as warm and welcoming, albeit way more busy which is incredible to see because the place deserves to thrive. easily my fav spot in the city (i fully blame the ricotta pancakes). i haven’t been to nyc in years but coming back here today felt like coming home in so many ways. thank you cody for taking such great care of me and thank you everyone at five leaves for even making a tourist feel like a part of the community. 🫶 (also pls restock those tote bags, the nation needs them!!)

It was one of the best date dinners ever in NYC! Charming atmosphere, elegant audience, attentive staff, delicious dishes, and surprisingly not as loud as usually in NYC. All these are components of your great time here, and afterwards, you want to visit this restaurant again!! Definitely will come back soon with my friends. PS: Their fries are insane how delicious, old-school style, real potatoes, not a fake!!!

The service here is really wonderful. It’s a classic nyc spot! I want to come back to get more food but we had the buffalo chicken wontons which were so good. But we mainly came here to try the cosmopolitan because this is where it was invented. It did not disappoint! I highly recommend trying it here

Got the salmon tartare and flank frites. Overall we loved the vibe and the service was very good. We also liked the flank frites but I liked the garlic butter more than the au poivre. The fries were perfectly crisp. The salmon tartare was ok, and the sauce honestly didn’t go that well with it.

The vibes of this spot were super fun and I loved the menu. Truly, the best moule frites I’ve had since France. The steak from the steak frites was underwhelming though, and the bearnaise sauce wasn’t balanced. Get the cosmo though!

I always see lots of people going in and out of The Odeon, and since it’s near my new job, we decided to try it out some time ago. The atmosphere could have been better, nothing special, but fine overall. The service was nice; everyone was friendly, polite, and quick. As for the food: the salad was a very small portion and almost empty. The burger had dry bread, but the meat itself was exceptional. The fries were really good, which is actually pretty rare in restaurants. Drinks were average. Overall, I expected more from such a popular place, but it was just fine.

Come for the chicken stay for the pie. I got the chicken and waffles, it's bone in chicken very crispy taste great. The waffles are soft and come with some cinnamon butter and blueberries. I had never had c&w with blueberries but it adds such a nice flavor. I also got a slice of apple pie warmed up with ice cream. The apple pie is fresh and full of flavor, just the right amount of food not huge plates or huge slice. The rest of their pastries and menu look just as good, will be back and trying the biscuits.

Pies’n’Thighs is one of the best spots in Williamsburg for southern comfort food, handmade pastries and local craft beer. Their cinnamon roll is incredible - chefs kiss! It’s soft, buttery, you can tell they’re fresh from that morning - think Cinnabon but better. I’m always down for a sweet treat and everything here hits - the pies, the pecan crunch donut, ugh everything is just so good when it’s made from scratch and so much care. The Hippie Banjo for brunch (hello Sprouts!) and the Fried Catfish Plate are my other favorites. I love their sandwich bread (pro tip I think you can buy it) and the tarter sauce for that catfish is perfection. They also carry really good local craft beer from other half, evil twin and Grimm, which makes dinner and weekend brunch even better. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable- they know exactly what to recommend- the GM even told Me about their new ice cream shop, Heap’s Ice Cream ,where they use Pies’n’Thighs pastries for ice cream sandwiches (like what, def going next time) Last week I tried the chicken tenders (I think they’re only in house) and they were juicy, crunchy and full of flavor. The sauces were great too but I’m a Ranch girl through and through. The food and drinks give an elevated vibe at night, but it’s also the perfect cozy bakery to stop for coffee and pastries on the way to work. I highly recommend Pies’n’Thighs - good food, good vibes and the nicest staff.

Omg!! I was from out of town and saw this restaurant on yelp. It was within walking distance of my hotel. It’s cute. And everyone is super nice. I recommend the chick and waffles so tasty. And it was a lot of food. I want to come back and try the catfish and sour cherry and peach pie.

Been many times though last time was years ago. Ordered online for pickup. At first I was impressed that the price hasn't changed all that much. But then I opened up the order. What a joke. While it was tasty, id be shocked if the chicken part was more than 2oz. To give you a sense of the size, its a very thin cutlet a little bigger than your standard ketchup packet. 5 stars is for the memory of what was, and 3 stars for what is. So 4 is in the middle.

My Fried Pickles were Everything!!! Ordered Catfish with grits & eggs (scramble soft) this was absolute perfection with some hot mint tea 2nd order was The Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes & a side of Mac-n-Cheese which was amazing also The highlight was the biscuit with the honey butter(so delightful) Left with 3 slices of perfect pie (apple, pumpkin, & bourbon pecan) Will be back soon!

The vegetarian biscuit sandwich was SENSATIONAL. So buttery and delicious. The lemonade was a bit too sour for me, but the food was amazing

This place is a hidden gem! We went with my brother, a local. You never would know it was a restaurant based on its exterior. Everything we got was delicious. I strongly recommend the green pasta and the Manicotti. The Green Pasta is pesto based, with a creamy sauce and shrimp (hint: ask for a side of truffle oil and sprinkle across it). The manicotti was some of the best I’ve had. One kid got a pretzel bun burger and the youngest got a pizza (big enough to feed at least two people). No one left unhappy and everyone was full. The service was amazing and they had great cocktails too.

4 for the neighborhood. 3 for NYC. Great for the theater district! Very tasty cocktail, decent food. Over priced but could be worse. Service was fine if not a bit distracted.

Loved this restaurant. The wall decor was cozy, aged, and they were screening several movies on the walls with projectors. I loved the vibe and the cocktails (specifically the Maracuya mama) was fantastic. Will definitely return !!

I had a good time at Bea. Went for friend’s bday brunch. The pre fix is a great deal; $30 and get appetizer, main and side. The best sides were the fries, the worst? The sausage (2 small links, nothing impressive). I’m not a big eater so I had the huevos rancheros, they were tasty. If you order the pre fix you get the bottomless for $30; good deal, the mimosas were refilled on time. I wish they had a little more cocktail variety? Maybe I was missing a drink menu. The patio is just gorgeous; it was rainy so you could see through the glass roof and it gave a nice ambience. I would come back for sure

This place has definitely gone downhill over the years. Went to Bea last night for the first time since the pandemic and it was a salty mess. There were three of us and the bill came out to $100/person. Two of us had chicken and the third got salmon (so nothing to warrant the high cost). The staff are lovely but the food is not how I remembered it. Overpriced and salty. Sad to say, yesterday was my last visit to Bea.

6/28/25 finally had time to get here for happy hour(every day 3-6pm). Me and D sat outside, good people watching. Good service. The happy hour drinks are good and the food is good too. Love the $5 burger! Guacamole is good and a big portion along with all the fixings for it. Street corn was good too. We had several margaritas. We will be back.

Let me tell you about Playa Betty’s- being someone from San Diego.. it’s the one place you can count on authentic Cali vibes. Anthi specifically was INCREDIBLE. She just brought the best energy and was so nice! I love this place!! (The spicy marg is also UNMATCHED)

Sharlene was excellent. I got a restaurant often and I hardly ever see the amount of service and attention to detail like I saw at your restaurant. She deserves a raise. I don’t think Reyes would do her justice. Just make her a manager because I think everybody at your restaurant should move and act like she does. She is well trained, and I appreciate her greatly

Really solid tacos. I was a bit worried that the Taco Dinner would be too much food, but two tacos left me wanting a bit more. My friend also said that this is one of the few places that she can get real Austin-style queso.

Sharlyne was our server and the service was exceptional! I was out with my groomsmen, table of 8 and she made us feel like we were her only table. Will be back again!

The vibes is really nice, people are super friendly and food exquisite. I got 3 tacos mushrooms, al pastor and the best Birria. I was so full to have more food but I’ll back to try more. This is the pelase that you never get tired of eat.

First visit to Sunday in Brooklyn (fittingly, on a Sunday). We grabbed an outdoor table for two right away — surprising, since I expected the place to be packed. The vibe outside was great on a nice day. What we ordered: • Cheddar Scramble – Eggs with Long Island home fries, multigrain toast, and avocado. • Sunday Pancakes™ – Hazelnut maple praline, brown butter (we went with a double stack). • I added an iced mocha (okay), and I skipped the OJ since it didn’t look freshly squeezed. The food? Solid but not mind-blowing. Scramble was fine, pancakes were sweet and indulgent, but overall it landed closer to a 3/5 than a “wow.” Drinks were passable. Why 4 stars instead of 3? Quick seating, outdoor ambiance, and the novelty of hitting Sunday in Brooklyn on a Sunday. Food wasn’t bad — just not destination-worthy. The service amazing. For 2 people they offered a 2 person table, outside or inside, they sat us right away. The food was Fast and tasted fresh. Eggs were done perfectly, soft scrambled, bacon crispy, potatoes were a little too salty, and the shakshuka was a little disappointing, like salsa with pouched eggs, but the bread was crisp and yummy when dipped into the bowl. However, the Sunday pancake was amazing. It’s was like a mini fluffy yellow cake with delicious buttered maple all over. not a maple taste but like a chocolaty buttery nutty flavor. “It was like a reward”. We enjoyed it the most. Overall we understand the hype and definitely recommend to try it for yourself.

Visited Sunday in Brooklyn for brunch and honestly, wow. We got the pistachio hummus with wood-fired flatbread — probably the richest, most flavorful meze I’ve ever had. A total must-try (and so generous we couldn’t even finish it!). Also ordered the warm grain bowl, and it arrived in what felt like 5 minutes — unbelievably fast service. The bowl itself was pure comfort: warm, rich, and beautifully balanced. The eggs were cooked like a soufflé — soft and melting — topped with a gigantic half avocado and a generous handful of pepitas (which I love and rarely see done this well). The rice underneath was so delicious. Finished with a cappuccino, served instantly in a lovely porcelain cup — the perfect touch to end brunch. Loved the vibes, service, good, and drink. We had the pancake which was enormous but tasted so good especially with its hazelnut chocolate topping. The marshmallow latte was so good. Service was quick and very professional; I would not hesitate to recommend the place and would love to go back again and again to try other dishes

Great find for brunch in Brooklyn! I’m visiting family in town and decided to meet my bestie who lives in Queens for brunch. We searched for breakfast spots nearby and found Sunday in Brooklyn because of its high ratings and appealing menu options. As a former brunch server, I first discovered shakshuka at my old restaurant and instantly fell in love with the robust flavors and perfectly runny poached eggs. While I’m usually an American breakfast type of person, I occasionally love to branch out and try something more adventurous. The Experience: • No wait time - we were seated immediately outside (wasn’t asked about seating preference, though I would have loved to sit inside and check out the interior decor) • Perfect for people watching while catching up with friends • Our server Cameron was overall kind and sweet, though he seemed a bit overwhelmed during busy moments and missed a few requests - had to ask the server assistant for help with some items • Small note: servers should introduce themselves by name (I had to ask for his name after ordering, as I like to greet people personally) What We Ordered: • Oat milk masala chai - delicious and beautifully presented • S’mores latte - gorgeous display • Shakshuka with extra homemade focaccia bread (needed every drop of that amazing sauce!) - loved it, though next time I’d skip the feta • Hazelnut praline pancakes and BLT for my friend The portion sizes are generous and satisfying. I’m definitely planning to come back with my partner to explore more of the menu - there’s so much I want to try! not many vegetarian options and the one we ordered that we were told is a good veg option actually had pork in it which was so disappointing. beet hot chocolate was yummy and fries were yummy. Vibes were also nice but as a vegetarian did not enjoy much

The pancake looks great.. until you take a bite and feel like you're swimming in sugar syrup. Sweet tooth or not, it's overwhelmingly sweet. The black coffee is not great either. On the bright side, the staff are nice and the vibe is great. wish the food matched the energy.

LONG hair found in our food. Steak was undercooked with very over done eggs on top. Manager Benny tried to help but we felt harassed as he kept coming to our table to correct the multiple mistakes. More focused on avoiding a bad review than fixing our food. The check was wrong four times and half way through our meal we lost our appetite. The shrimp and grits were decent (apart from the hair) but the jalapeño biscuit felt reheated as it was still very hard. Felt not too busy but service was still very very slow. French toast was awesome and that’s the only reason it’s not 1 star for food.

Añejo Tribeca is a fantastic spot for great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The margaritas are top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tacos are a must-try, especially the short rib and crispy fish. The service is friendly and attentive, even when the place is busy. The ambiance is lively yet cozy, making it a great spot for date night or a casual hangout with friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Mexican food in Tribeca!

Tried a bunch of different tacos. They were good, not exactly memorable but still a good meal. The draft beer was really smooth.

Came here on Tuesday night at 6:30 did not need a reservation. We sat outside with our two dogs. They were very accommodating and brought water for the dogs. The manager came over offered us free chips and salsa. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The cocktails are delicious and the prices are good. While it is not cheap, it is not ridiculously priced and the portions are big. We got fundido and ceviche as well as pollo adobado and carne arechero and margaritas. Absolutely loved everything.

The Al pastor tacos were way too wet, and didn’t have the classic char on the chicken you’d expect from a classic Al pastor (probably why they list it in quotes). Fish tacos were better, and the pork tostadas were my favorite. Overall, it was a serviceable meal

We went to Añejo in Tribeca and everything was great! Every dish we tried was better than the next. The margaritas were also very good. My bf who doesn’t really care for margaritas was impressed. My favorite dishes were the pork belly tostadas, the ribeye fajitas, and the cheesecake. This place is a must visit! We are already thinking about going back lol

We went there for lunch after our granddaughter's graduation. Food was great and their drinks were excellent.

Very pleasant experience! The service was excellent, and the food was even better. We loved pretty much everything we ordered, and a huge thank you to the staff — I had accidentally left my sunglasses behind, and they kindly returned them to me the next day. 🤗

Cute and cozy, Great service, great food. Sardines and slow roasted lamb ribs are my favorite. If you like dessert, Do not miss the Banana Foster Profiterole!

Came for lunch on a date! It’s a cute and elevated spot. Get the Trout Po’ Boy- you won’t regret it. The dressing on it is so delicious, I’d love to know how they make it. The French bread is thick so if you’re looking for a lighter meal, then maybe skip. They have a very nice outdoor patio in the back! Very nice to sit under the sky / in the sunlight, but there are only 2 tables in the direct sun. The other “backyard” seating is actually under a big awning.

Joined for dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant has a modern-bistro sensibility with subtle rustic touches and a nice balance between elegance and comfortable warmth. We sat in the back section of the main dining area with the leather banquettes. Tables did feel too cramped, and the it wasn’t a busy night but it would be difficult to get out from your seat on a busy one. Service was okay, not the most friendly and warm. Food was very good. The escargot was delicious, the piece of sausage added to each shell elevates the flavor. The grilled whole dorade was very fresh, meat was tender with a subtle sweetness. But the charred broccolini was very bitter for some reason. House steak was okay. Would love to try the lamb next time. Overall a cute bistro with great food.

I tried to get a healthy dish so ordered the socca with multi grains and fried egg, but unfortunately it wasn’t that great. Also someone else in my party got a French toast but it was basically a large shared dessert instead of a brunch entree and he could really eat it, would not recommend getting that as an entree. The bread was hard and crusty! The service and ambiance were nice though.

Was expecting more of the reviewed options like the steak frites to be on the brunch menu but seems like they do a different set. Crab Louie was pretty good though. Had service at the bar and was attentively taken care of although I was also inadvertently able to hear all the team gossip. May come back to try their dinner menu.

Update: The first time that we dined here, we had such a wonderful time and were excited to come back. Unfortunately, our most recent experience wasn’t as great. The service is friendly, but absolutely not attentive. No one ever checked in on our table, they do not pour wine or water even when you purchase bottles. I had to wait several minutes to flag someone down to have them fix my meal. They don’t observe dietary restrictions and food, allergies. they never asked us if we wanted anything else before they brought the check. They rushed the appetizers. It was a stereotypical young , uninspired BK staff. We will not return. 2023: We had a beautiful dining experience in the garden. The 2019 Saint Emilion was perfect. We split a salad, and enjoyed the duck and the papardelle with poached egg. Can’t wait for our next date night at French Louie.

My husband and I ordered drinks and appetizers. The service was amazing. Prices are ok. The food is good but maybe my expectations were too off, I thought that all their plates would have insects as ingredients. I was kind of disappointed to learn that was not the case. The guacamole was the best I ate in Manhattan so far, but the ants were barely noticeable. The drinks were very good too.

Michelin guide did not disappoint! Happy hour on a saturday from 4-7pm, perfect for a dinner. Ordered bunch of tacos and food and every bite was amazing from start to finish! Waiters were very good as well.

Quite a nice atmosphere, food is good. I got attracted to the tortillas, orange and kind of fluffy a tiny bit sweet but very tasty. You have to try the grasshoppers either as appetizer or garnish they taste quite good. The service is good and staff is friendly. Oh yeah, they have a good selection of tequila if you're in the mood. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Had the Chef Special Menu and the courses were all fresh with different flavors. The final flan made with the black ant topping was sweet and savory, sangria was good, and overall it was an experience. 4/5 for pricing and portions

We went for brunch on a Saturday and the pace was super crowded. Since it was a very hot day, everyone was sitting indoors, and it was a bit stuffy. But the food was decent. I really liked my fish tacos. My friend thought the chilaquiles lacked in flavor. The mimosas were strong!

Checked this place out for brunch and it was fantastic! Everything on the menu sounds delicious so we’ll definitely go back. I can easily recommend the steak and eggs or the burger. The drinks are made well too! The mimosa was made with pulpy orange juice which made it taste fresh and refreshing.

This is some pretty great Mexican with several unique twists. Nice vibe and atmosphere, and good drinks and cocktails. And not so inventive and precious it doesn’t fill you up: it does, with generous portions and solid, expected flavors that come with a singular flair. And some exotic choices too if you’re feeling up for it.
