Ramen restaurant
Japanese restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
Raijin Ramen is a popular spot in Tucson known for its traditional Japanese ramen noodle bowls. The menu offers various styles of ramen soup, including tonkotsu, miso, and veggie, all topped with authentic ingredients like tamago, scallions, pork, and nori. Despite some average reviews on flavor, Raijin Ramen continues to draw in crowds due to its exceptional food and friendly service.
Super delicious! I was hangry so I ordered a double Tonkotsu ramen bowl. It filled me up! I had Takoyaki for appetizer, friends ordered some chicken tempuras. Overall, the ramen was delicious. Staff were friendly.
Harvey T — Google review
Craving a serious bowl of ramen? This hole-in-the-wall Japanese joint might just be your new go-to. Don't expect fancy décor – this place is all about the slurp-worthy goodness. And let me tell you, that broth? Boom! Flavor explosion with a texture to match. They could maybe pretty things up a bit, but honestly, who cares when the taste is this good? Bonus points for serving it piping hot (just the right temp – no tongue-burning here!). The noodles were perfectly firm, and if you're a big eater like me, don't even hesitate – order the "Kae Dama" (noodle refill!). A new experience is for like a double dose of ramen goodness, get the Double Ramen! It’s basically a whole other bowl of noodles in that already amazing tonkotsu broth! The karaage was savory, but the chicken was a tad dry – a minor letdown. The takoyaki, though? Super fun! Think creamy squidball deliciousness. My only gripe? The octopus bits were a little shy and got lost in the creamy sauce. Service is efficient – they get the job done quickly, no time for long chats. Fair enough. A heads-up: this place is a bit of a hidden gem. Drive slow or you'll miss the driveway! Parking is cozy, so park smart. Perfect for a casual bite, a quick meet-up, or a small group (four people max, I'd say). A little background music and maybe some misters for the outdoor seating on warm days would definitely elevate the experience. Even with a few minor hiccups, I'll definitely be back for that amazing ramen. Highly recommend for a satisfying and unpretentious meal!
Miguel “ — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at Raijin Ramen. I ordered their vegan options, and was sincerely surprised by their vegetable broth. I've tried many in the past, but this one was stout! Flavorful, and creamy. Exactly what you'd expect, but dont always receive at other competitors.
Jesse K — Google review
If you want the very best Ramen in Tucson, well this is your place! An unpretentious joint that is simple and small but well worth your time and money! I use to work in Japan and I know my Ramen. You don’t want to pass up this place.
Rastusbeufort — Google review
Super good!!! Love that they have a lot of spicy options! The fried chicken was so good, perfect amount of breading!
Jackie R — Google review
Oyster balls, black garlic ramen, and spicy ramen were on point! Service and atmosphere were very friendly and welcoming.
L J — Google review
I love ramen and have no idea why I e waited so long to try this Raijin ramen. Boy, I was not disappointed. The ramen I had was a special and I will be highly sad to see it go but that will not keep me from coming back. The cocktails were very tasty. It’s a small spot, so waiting for a little bit may happen, but I feel it was worth it. I will be back!
Tasha V — Google review
I love this place because their ramen always hits the spot, service is quick and friendly, and overall very efficient (never had a longer wait time than a few minutes). Only thing I’d note is that your clothes will 100% smell like oil after dining in, so keep that in mind if you plan to hit other places after.

Ramen restaurant
Japanese curry restaurant
Japanese regional restaurant
JA Ramen is a vibrant counter-service kitchen that serves up a variety of Japanese specialties, including twelve different types of ramen. One popular dish is the Pork Tonkotsu, featuring perfectly cooked tender pork. For those craving seafood flavors, the Half Sea Tonkotsu with shrimp and squid is a must-try. Customers also recommend the Vegas Rolls and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen.
Ja ramen is such an amazing place for some curry and ramen. This is the only place in town with some good Japanese curry, their selection is extremely vast, and their curry is pretty darn good. Their ramen is pretty amazing as well, but the curry at this place stands out more for me. The chicken Katsu curry udon is a great choice if you want to try both, their udon noodles are great and well cooked. The Takoyaki is also great, fresh, with bonito flakes. Their tan tan mien is also a good choice. Hosts are very friendly and this place doesn’t require you to tip since you order up front, which is a good change from traditional restaurant dining. This place has outdoor seating and allow dogs there. Feels like a warm neighborhood ramen place that anime characters have access to. Overall one of my favorite places to dine in Tucson.
J A — Google review
I've been here a handful of time and always got their spicy tonkatsu ramen which is five stars in itself. Today I came in wanting to try something new! The person who assisted me while I ordered was very kind and attentive, even bringing my Thai tea to my table. I ordered the pork curry and the pork katsu itself was amazing. The curry was pepper heavy and I got 5 level spice so it wasn't very spice at all, just had a good kick. Not a bad meal at all, but I think I will continue to just get the ramen from here on out!
Meagan D — Google review
This was an absolute delicious meal. My wife has been wanting to have a bowl of ramen like this for a while now. The service is great. We placed our order and waited at our seat for the meal. The variety and overall taste was just amazing. We will be stopping here again the next time we are out Tucson way.
Zachari — Google review
Best ramen I’ve had in Tucson. The staff is also really friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I will definitely be back. Edit: We stopped in today and ordered the same that we normally do. However, today was different they changed their noodles. They were pretty thick and pasty. I tried to be optimistic but with every bite I had a pretty strong taste of flour in my mouth. I was a bit disappointed but the broth was still good and the staff is always very polite and friendly.
Lailani — Google review
It’s good! I recommend the chicken Katsu udon. The broth was the best part of that dish! My companions weren’t as thrilled with their ramen dishes but I was satisfied and I probably come back. I also ordered dumplings and the dipping sauce was really delicious. The curry was spicy. If you don’t care for spicy food, a 5 might burn your taste buds off.
Marian S — Google review
Once came in with their entire restaurant capacity as one party without warning. They were ready to kick us out, but decided to serve us. The food was excellent, and I've been back with fewer people since. Perhaps I will go alone one time. Wishful thinking.
Bert — Google review
Ended up here when we couldn't get into another ramen place. What a pleasant surprise. Extensive menu options. Something for everyone. They have a little tutorial posted on the wall, so you know what to expect. Food was great. Portions are generous. Service was good. Will be back again soon.
Mark S — Google review
Japanese style curry and ramen. If anyone has been to Japan, it's somewhat like Cocos Ichibanya Curry, but of course different. Portions are huge and pricey, but overall worth it. You can pick your spice level from 0-10. It's ran like a fast food type place where you order your food, pay, and then the food is brought to the table. Only complaint I had was the curry was lukewarm and not hot.

Nestled in a cozy corner, Ikkyu is a delightful Japanese restaurant that offers an extensive menu filled with cooked dishes, sushi, and rolls. The modern yet relaxed ambiance makes it the perfect spot to unwind while enjoying authentic flavors. A favorite among locals, this hidden gem serves up delicious bento boxes and rice bowls that pay tribute to the eccentric Zen monk after whom it's named.
Delicious meal. Spicy Tuna Don Volcano bowl was very filling, served with a generous portion of tuna. Sauce was sweet and the toppings were crunchy. Tuna Volcano bowl was served with a side of miso soup. I would eat here again.
Adam S — Google review
This was the most delicious Japanese food I have ever had. I tried it out for the first time today and OMG. SO GOOD. The employees were so kind and the atmosphere was giving. I will definitely be going here more often.
Gwen L — Google review
Stop in here before shopping in Lee Lee grocery across the parking lot. Nice staff, well-organized kitchen. Really tasty curry chicken over rice. Salmon fillet was fresh tasting, but thin. Rice is top notch. Recommend take-out, place is tight, noisy, and when door opens you will freeze, or roast depending on season. Lost a star because I admit I’m a clean freak when it comes to restaurants, and the tables were hastily wiped down between diners, food ended up on chairs. Ick. Ick. Icky.
Jackie C — Google review
Service was quick and easy. The spicy tuna Inari was delicious. We both ate the beef with zucchini and mushrThe beef tasted a little sweet and spicy. I would recommend this place for a quick-bite to eat. We will be coming back for sure.
Brandon B — Google review
Small, cozy, quick and tasty. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. The price was fantastic! We had three dinners and an appetizer for $37, didn’t wait long and had a nice time. Each of the dinners we ordered was tasty. Would definitely try it again. My only suggestion for improvement would be that if they wanted to be more environmentally friendly they would serve dine-in on regular non-disposable dishes.
Michael D — Google review
The service was very friendly, but the food was quite simple. When I ordered, I mentioned that it was my first time there. After receiving my meal, I wanted to add eel sauce or something similar to enhance the flavor. However, when I asked for the sauce, they informed me it would cost 25 cents. Since I didn't have any cash, they couldn't give it to me. The cashier apologized about it as she was leaving. It’s disappointing that a basic gesture of hospitality, like providing a little container of sauce, comes with a charge, and even more so that I was denied it simply because I didn’t have a quarter. I don’t think I will be going back.
Buondy M — Google review
Ramen was good but the sushi roll was kinda gross. It had so much tuna and barely any alvacado. Sushi roll was also soft and no crunch even on the outside. Spent $25 on a meal that was only half edible.
P G — Google review
Always a mist stop when we are here in Tucson. Spicy tuna don volcano style is a must get. The ninja roll is the side kick to the spicy tuna don. The goyza is a little delight. Once again on point and very satisfied

Chinese restaurant
Noodleholics is a contemporary restaurant that offers a diverse menu of Asian-inspired dishes, with a focus on noodles. The restaurant is known for its delectable Chinese food served in a fast-casual environment. It's popular among international students craving flavors from home and locals looking for authentic Asian cuisine. The menu features Guilin-style rice noodles and hand-made wheat noodles served in soups or mixed with various toppings like barbecue pork, beef shank, or minced pork.
Absolutely amazing. My sibling took me here and every bite was like heaven. There was a line, and the associates up front were efficient. I chose from the gluten free options of a soup with crispy pork belly and a side of rice. They bring it to you steaming, and every bite is better than the next. The peanuts complimented the dish beautifully, and I tried the tofu as well (the best tofu I’ve ever had). I also got a lemon honey drink, and it was so delicious. They come around to see how everything is, which is a nice touch. I will add this restaurant to my repertoire, I love them!
Grace C — Google review
Great neighborhood spot. It’s a small, local business serving up delicious dishes. I enjoyed the spicy chicken wings and the iced honey lemon drink. Each one of the noodle dishes was so flavor and made with fresh ingredients. It’s a must check out if you’re in Tucson.
Asa P — Google review
Great bowl of Al Dente hand pulled noodles . I recommend getting a bowl of hand pulled noodles and order an extra serving of noodles for $3.00. The serving is enough to serve two people, imo. I can never get enough hand pulled noodles. When I’m in Asia, hand pulled noodles is a norm. Great stuff!
Ed J — Google review
I’ve had this dish before and it was never like this. Last time I ordered through Uber Eats it was already full of bones, but I gave it another chance. Unfortunately, it’s the same again — almost all bones, and the little meat there was was just thin slices, no drumstick, nothing like the photo on Uber Eats. Completely not recommended. Never coming back and I’ll tell my friends to stay away. Extremely disappointing.
S T — Google review
We came here like 5 years ago, and I didn't care too much for it. I don't think I ordered the right thing. Today, we came back to give it another try, and I'm glad we did. The girl who helped us was very helpful and answered our questions. She even gave suggestions. Great service! I got the Guilin noodles and asked for it to be extra spicy, and it was hot! Just the way I like it 👌🏾 The broth was very good! My kids got the house wonton, and they were so happy with it too. We highly recommend this place!
Beatriz V — Google review
The Taiwan beef noodles were so flavorful and the portions were very generous, highly recommend. Was pleasantly surprised but how good the HK milk tea was and will be ordering it again. Enjoyed the crab puffs and chaosiu dumplings.
Kristina S — Google review
This place is amazing! We have gone a couple times now and have been very pleased each time! They have great portions of very good food for great prices. Their ramen is very good and everything tastes fresh. Their crab puffs are very good and the dumplings were yummy too! I always get the chicken noodle and it tastes very good! Their portions are great so I always take some home and they provide very great containers. I love the free water they provide and all sorts of utensils to use. They keep it very clean and inviting! Highly recommend!

Japanese curry restaurant
This japanese restaurant is perfect for anyone looking for authentic ramen and other Japanese dishes. They have a large menu with gluten-free and vegetarian options, so everyone can find something they love. The broth is absolutely delicious and the food is definitely worth trying. The service here was great, with the man who took our order being very helpful with dietary needs. We would highly recommend Maru to anyone in the area!
My first time ordering here and it is so good! I lived in Hawaii for four years. I had a lot of authentic Ramen and this definitely compares. I love that the pork is soft and not chewy. I will be coming here again! I think the lunch special for $16 is a great value and they have it seven days a week which is pretty good.
Tori — Google review
Lovely staff, but food was a hot confusing mess. I ordered chicken katsu (see menu photo) but chicken karaage came instead with massive yellow skin and fatty pieces. When I asked the server, she said that’s what they mean when they say katsu. I suggested she look at their menu to see why customers might be disappointed. She didn’t seem to understand. Oh well!
GS T — Google review
I went to Maru on April 12th around 5pm and the man who was the cashier was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the hospitality that he provided. He went above and beyond to answer my questions! I wish I had gotten his name to give him a proper shout out! But everyone there was very nice as well! The food is very good as well, and you tell that they put effort into it! I ordered the Veggie Miso Ramen, unfortunately the baby corn was subbed for regular corn. Which is my only complaint! I also got the veggie spring rolls which were very good as well. I really enjoyed the fact that they had a bar of things you could add to your ramen like seaweed and pickled ginger! The restaurant was clean and quiet which I appreciated. The space is small but can accommodate a large group if need be. Thanks again the staff!! (Same review on yelp)
K B — Google review
I want to give the people an honest review. Don’t go to this place. I had to wait over one hour for my food. I worked in many Asian restaurants and this place does not have good quality food for the money. You can tell by the photos I posted. Look at the cheap shrimp and the cheap crab stick. It’s not worth the money. I’m not even mentioning the ramen.
Meyo W — Google review
Really grateful food with generous portions. Friend had pork Ramen with perfectly crispy skin. I had a cold noodle poke bowl which was enormous and an excellent mix of flavors. Clean, fairly quick service and staff was friendly.
Abby D — Google review
So delicious! I got the vegan ginger & mushroom ramen and holy moly it was delicious! The chef came out to check on us a couple of times and went above and beyond to make our experience a great one!
Sarah R — Google review
Paid about ¥2,600 aka 17$ for the chicken katsu curry 🍛—a little steep! The curry was slightly spicy and flavorful, and the rice was cooked nicely. The chicken, though, was a bit overcooked. What really took away from the experience for me was the atmosphere. I could clearly hear the workers in the back talking and even yelling at times, which made it feel less like a cozy Japanese spot and more like a regular American restaurant. Maybe I’m just still in “Japan mode,” but that vibe really makes a difference for me. Price-wise, it might feel like a better deal if it came with a small miso soup—just something to make it easier to justify. I’ll give Maru Plus a try next time and see if it captures that Japanese feeling I miss. 🇯🇵 part B. ともだち, ありがとうございます for the fast response. I will definitely be in to your Maru Plus and check that place out. ビジネスの成功をお祈りします, じゃね、またね!
Jesus U — Google review
Thank God the food is good—because the customer service is absolutely awful. From the moment you walk in, you feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. The staff acts indifferent, bordering on rude, with zero sense of hospitality or urgency. For a restaurant charging premium prices, the service should match the food. Sadly, it doesn’t. If you’re going to dine here, go for the food, not the experience. Maru needs a serious reality check on how to treat paying customers.

KUKAI is a cozy dining spot located in the MSA Annex in Tucson, offering a variety of Japanese dishes such as ramen, rolls, rice bowls, curries, and rice balls. The menu features authentic flavors like Umeboshi and Unagi, along with popular Japanese favorites like takoyaki and karaage. The outdoor seating area provides a delightful setting to enjoy the carefully crafted dishes prepared by chef Michael McCormack.
Love their menu! Simple but full of delicious apps and noodles. I am a big fan of the onigiri (rice balls). They’re made fresh and well seasoned. Can’t wait to come back to try more of their dishes.
Angel H — Google review
Some of my favorite Japanese food in Tucson!! I love the takoyaki and hand rolls but I've never had anything I didn't love. They have a vegan ramen option which I also appreciate, as well as some vegan onigiri (and probably other stuff)!
Sarina — Google review
My favorite place in Tuscon! Coming from NY, I was thrilled to find a sushi spot that I come to every week. The food is incredible every time I go- I get Mt Fugi Don, the dumplings and the pork ramen which is by far the best I have ever had hands down (especially the ramen). My boyfriend gets the spicy crunch roll which he loves as well. We met the owner a couple of times and he is very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, truly a gem.
Hope H — Google review
Always have to get food at Kukai when we're at the Annex around dinnertime. Their rice bowls (specifically gyūdon, Kukai don, and Mt. Fuji don) and their black garlic ramen and curry ramen are some of my favorites. Excellent sushi as well.
Jon L — Google review
I love the complex, with cute boutiques, fire pits and a beer bar. Got karage and meitaigo ramen from Kukai, the fried chicken are a bit too small for me. The ramen is great tho :) Its also amazing that you can eat the ramen at the beer bar near the fireplace !
Evelyn F — Google review
Highly recommend!! Staff were super friendly. Ambiance was nice. Ramen broth was super flavorful. Pork was not too fatty and had good texture. Egg was perfectly cooked. Noodles were nice and chewy. Will be dreaming of this dish! Can’t wait to go back.
Barb P — Google review
Kukai was absolutely delicious!! I had the sushi with salmon and eel sauce on top with ramen and my friend had the katsu chicken curry. The sushi was soooo good and the salmon was fresh, the broth for the ramen was top notch! Seriously, on of the best I have had. Both of us really enjoyed our meals!

Fat Noodle, a popular food truck in Tucson, is now expanding to a brick and mortar location. The new space features an industrial look with wooden counters and tables. Their house ramen is made with house-made noodles, 10-hour broth, shiitake mushrooms, smoked pork, "fat" slaw, "fat" sauce, dashi and green onions. Customers appreciate the quick service and delicious presentation of the food.
OMG 🙊 this burger is incredibly delicious! It is on a hidden menu at this 🍜 spot! The meat was juicy, veggies fresh and crisp, the bun toasted and light, bacon and onions cooked to perfection, and sauces complimentary. The guy cooking the burger took pride in creating it, thankyou! My only problem is, now you know!😍🤩🤑

Very solid ramen , broth and toppings were spot on, we had the FN (house) ramen and the spicy shiitake ramen. IMHO the house ramen broth could definitely use some taré but that’s nitpicking. Gyoza were very light and have a moist pork and cabbage filling and the dipping sauce had a nice subtle heat. Want to go back for the burger!

Food was delicious and service was great. Ordered the spicy ramen but wasn't too hot. Flavor was delicious. Wife got the stir fry bowl and really enjoyed it.

Fat noodle is a pretty proper ramen joint. We ordered a gyoza appetizer and two bowls of FN ramen. The gyoza was delicious! It was crispy on one side, soft on the other and had a fresh ginger taste to it. The ramen was good but for me left a bit to be desired. The broth was fantastic, it had a nice full pork flavor. I was expecting udon noodles with a name like fat ramen, but they use a more traditional ramen which we were cool with. The pasta was perfectly cooked to a slight al dente and the bowl included mushrooms, a halved soft boiled egg, chashu pork, green onions and sesame seeds. Let's talk about the chashu pork, it was a bit bland and kind of fatty but paired well with the broth. The restaurant is nice and clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The pricing is definitely up there. We paid $45 for two ramen an app and 2 drinks which we felt was pretty expensive. Also, they include gratuity in the price which we did not care for. ( We like to tip based on service) All in all my only complaint would be the turn and burn type seating (small uncomfortable chairs you don't want to sit in for long) but I suppose that's common for a community style eating establishment.

This is the absolute best traditional Ramen place in Tucson. Taking 8 to 10 hours to make the broth and homemade noodles, these guys have elevated Ramen to a new level. I haven't had Ramen this good since my time in New York. Stop by fat Noodle and do yourself a favor. Trust me, there isn't a single bad thing on the menu, and the only thing you could do wrong is not show up.
Andrew G — Google review
I have some mixed feelings on this one. First of all I liked the ramen, but when it comes right down to it, it was honestly just okay. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, it got better over time by letting the pork sit in it longer. This is probably my biggest point of contention, if the broth improves the bowl will be a lot better. The egg was slightly underdone, a little too runny. Everything else was good, I like the noodles a lot especially since they are rather unique to FN. Good choice of mushrooms, they were awesome. Solid portion size as well. Overall, I just feel at $12 a bowl there are other competitors in town that charge less for a superior bowl of ramen. There is a lot of room to grow here and I foresee FN becoming better over time. Other restaurants have done it. I think this is a really solid foundation to start from.

Fat Noodle was one of the first food trucks we fell in love with and we were so happy to hear they were opening a store front. We used to find out where the truck would be and go to that location. We didn't get a chance to go here until recently (sadly it is on the other side of town) but we were very happy. I think they had 3 beers on tap and a few different types in cans. The menu isn't super large or complicated. The Fat Burger is my favorite but everything there is awesome. The staff was great and we even asked if Ramon was there so we could say hi and congrats and he came out from the back to greet us. Nothing but the best wishes for Fat Noodle, keep up the good work!

My brother and I went to try this Noodles restaurant 5 minutes from where II live. When we got inside we were greeted right away and we check the menu that is located on one board that would help us to make our order faster. We ordered and our food was served in less than 10 minutes. We love the presentation and it was delicious. We like the place, especially my brother since he's a big Animé need, he was telling me some of the characters hanging on the walls. The place very clean and can chill while eating our food.

Beyond Bread is a popular bakery and cafe in Tucson, with three locations offering a variety of delicious baked goods, breakfast items, and hearty sandwiches. Established in 1998, this locally owned establishment has been recognized for its best bread and sandwiches by Tucson Weekly. The menu includes hand-crafted breads, house-made soups, fresh salads, and decadent pastries. Whether you're looking for a quick bite on the go or a leisurely meal, Beyond Bread offers options for every appetite.
Great sandwiches. I had Annie's Addiction, a delicious vegan option. Soft fresh bread with a healthy amount of fresh veggies. I ate there 3 times and had the same thing with a side salad. The side salad is a good mix of greens and additional veggies. There are other vegan options, but I liked this so much, it became my go to. If I lived in the area, I'd try other menu items. They also sell beer and wine. Highly recommend.

I've only ever ordered for delivery here. Today had an issue with a soup I ordered, mainly that I could only see/taste 2 ingredients and that the avocado was missing. Gazpacho and salsa shouldn't taste the same. A waste of time to even call the store - they didn't care and talk to you like you're... 😬 both of you ladies I spoke to. Not even an offer for credit or acknowledgement other than and a half breath sorry out of obligation? Very disappointed and happy to spend my money elsewhere.

I had never eaten at beyond bread before for its food items however plenty of times for their pies cause they are great! I stopped at this one and decided to sit down and eat. Oh goodness was that bread TOUGH. I couldn’t eat my sandwich like a sandwich. At the end of eating as I didn’t want to waste my food my mouth was hurting. I thought maybe it was just mine but it was an overall experience for my friends who I was eating there with. They had different menu items that all were served with different breads and their bread was tough. I wouldn’t want to insinuate but although it didn’t taste stale the bread had that lack of moisture as if left out for more than 1-2 days to harden up. The reason for my rate was that and honestly it tasted very good but that bread being nearly impossible to eat is what did it for me. I love their pies as they’re small, well priced and delicious! This isn’t the end all be all. I still would want to give the food another chance. Like I said very tasty just hard to eat.

LOVE this place. Service is always spectacular AND the food and pastries are fresh and just perfect. Every worker that I’ve interacted with has been such a sweetheart. My favs are: - fruit tart - chicken salad w/ EXTRA dressing - and the Mac and cheese

Only rating the food since this was delivery for us. My bf and I are on a mission to try every sandwich at Beyond Bread. Today we started with one I’ve had multiple times and it never disappoints. I am not a vegetarian but I love veggie based sandwiches. The Bailey’s Beet is one of the best I’ve had. Beautiful, fresh greens, cucumbers, sliced beets, an herby goat cheese spread, balsamic drizzle; all on their delicious house-made focaccia. Today, even though it’s not soup weather in Tucson, we got it with a side of the tomato basil soup (insert chef’s kiss)! If you have a chance, give this a try! Not sure which sandwich we will try next but I’ll be sure to share when we do!

Beyond Bread is an outstanding spot for fresh, flavorful food. The sandwiches and baked goods are always made with quality ingredients and taste amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to grab a quick bite or sit down and enjoy a meal. The staff provides excellent service—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and the location is convenient. Overall, Beyond Bread delivers a consistently great dining experience and is easily one of the best places to eat in the area. Highly recommended!

I've never had a bad meal here, and when I was looking for a place to eat off Campbell in the University area of Tucson I went to BB. I promptly asked for two pretzel loaves sliced, a cinnamon roll, a magic bar (which they forgot to put in my bag) and also ordered a turkey club. This is made with real turkey, not processed. The sandwich is a double decker, simply two big to eat in one sitting. For my side I ordered their tomato basil soup, some of the best I've had.

Vietnamese restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tucson, Miss Saigon is a charming Vietnamese café that has become a beloved staple for locals and visitors alike. Known for its classic noodle dishes and comforting soups, this compact eatery offers an authentic taste of Vietnam with every bite. Co-owned by Bao Ma, the restaurant reflects a deep commitment to community and family values, which have been integral to its success over the years.
I’m still here eating my food. Definitely recommend. The food is 10/10. The location looks like a hole in the wall shop, but those are the ones with the best food.

Ok so it was my first time here, I know right and everything was so delicious I was lucky that I went with a friend that knows this type of food the menu tells what it has but I’m a more visual person wish there was more photo of food too see but everything I tried and had was a 10, & the Boba was the best I had ever had!!!!

The waiters were really kind and helpful with the menu. The chicken skewers were very good I’d come back just for those. Both noodle dishes were delicious and had a good portion of meat and noodles. Everything was reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be returning for more!

This isn’t the third or the fourth time that I have ordered takeout from Miss Saigon and have asked them to please separate the rare beef from the noodles in a separate container because when they add the noodles with the rare beef and close the box, the steamed noodles cook the beef. With traffic, it takes me about 45 minutes to get to my house and by the time I opened the box, I noticed that they did not listen to my request once again, and put the rare beef in the same box as the noodles. This time I called in to complain because I feel like this has happened way too many times and the beef smells a little different and tastes different once it’s been steamed in the box, The woman who answered the phone said that she wasn’t the one who took the order so therefore it was not her fault and only offered me a 25% discount even though I’m not going to eat the meal. I’m writing this review in hopes that the owners or managers of Miss Saigon will please talk to their employees and have them listen to their customers requests instead of doing what they want. The woman who answered the phone also told me that the beef would not steam, but look at the picture attached, I offered to send her the picture and she declined. Please do better, Miss Saigon staff, $20 for a soup isn’t cheap.

Miss Saigon is the undisputed Pho Ambassador of Tucson. When Tucson asks “Where should I get Pho?” Miss Saigon responds commandingly: “Come get it here, you won’t regret it.” In fact, the only thing I ever regret about going to Miss Saigon, is ordering the large pho and filling up about halfway through it. Delicious and delicate broth topped with fresh ingredients. Paired with a Tsingtao or a Lucky Buddha; I’m a happy camper. I always get the #24 which comes packed with lots of beefy protein that just blends so seamlessly with that outstanding broth. Can’t wait to go back for more 💖

I’ve been a loyal customer of Miss Saigon for over 10 years, and it continues to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Tucson. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. Staff is very attentive and kind, the food was wonderful, felt just like someone's vietnamese mom welcomed us into their home to sit back and rest and make sure we didn't go home hungry. Established in 1994, it has become renowned in Tucson for its fresh and flavorful sushi and sashimi. The restaurant prides itself on receiving daily shipments of high-quality seafood from Los Angeles to ensure the authenticity of their Japanese cuisine.
Amazing food. They do get very busy as more people have discovered this restaurant. So there can be a bit of a wait in the evening, just like with other popular restaurants. I have been here before and took my child this time for their birthday - absolutely loved it. The staff are wonderful too and brought her out a small cake slice and sang happy bday.

One of my top 5 places to get sushi. Their toro is so good. I typically get sushi and haven't really got other items and tried the beef noodles and was not impressed. It was very greasy. Service was great though.
Candice B — Google review
Stopped for dinner. Semi-busy had a table available for me. Probably about 60% full. Ordered a spicy tuna roll and 4 other individual pieces. Service was quick and courteous. Food took a little while but understandable given the crowd and the sushi takes time to prepare. Turned out to be super expensive, though. $36 with a lemonade and it was just me.

I visited for the first time to order take out after seeing positive reviews. Staff had some diversity so I hoped they were friendly—but I was wrong, they were very rude. I waited for 10min without being acknowledged. I politely asked a server if I can place an order to go and she gave me a look with attitude and said “you can go ask yourself”. I will not be back. It’s so painful to be treated with such disgust. Most ppl won’t get it and will try to minimize it since they don’t experience it but all I can say is bias and prejudice . I saw another woman of color come in to order and same thing, was not being acknowledged for sometime then a few white couples and families and white passing Latino families came and were pretty quickly attended to and not during periods of a lull. After seeing ppl who look opposite of me being treated with kindness even when they themselves were rude to staff and I was not. I paid $123 for the food. The crab and snapper rolls were tasty, the takoyaki was disappointing. Not that bias justifies any food but it was not worth it. I can tell staff worked hard and I appreciate that but I don’t appreciate racism. The place was decently busy, not slammed and they had many moments were there was a lull. Again I cannot think of any valid reasons for this treatment unless I was being disrespectful which I was not. I was patient and polite did not deserve any of that. I wanted to give the place a try that is the only reason I stayed and spend my money. Never again. This is the first review I have ever made, I’m not the type to complain but this was not something I could ignore. If your experience has been the opposite of mine—that’s fine and I’m glad, I’m just giving my experience and never want anyone feeling or experiencing what I did regardless of your background. Thank you for reading this long post!

Ginza Sushi & Izakaya is a well-known Japanese restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with its tapas-style menu. The restaurant is popular for its alternative approach to Japanese cuisine and sushi, encouraging diners to share multiple dishes. With an extensive selection of fresh sushi and Japanese Izakaya-style small plates, Ginza provides a stylish setting for guests to enjoy their meal.
The best sashimi we've had in Tucson! Get there early or make a reservation - it fills up fast. Don't skip the yellowtail, toro and albacore.
Taylor M — Google review
I returned to Ginza in Tucson with a critic’s memory and a parent’s schedule. Last time was a late-night romp with friends—cold beers, reckless sushi, a blur of excellent bites. Tonight, earlier, the desert air ran soft, so we claimed a table outside with the kids and let the evening unspool. Japanese beers beaded with promise. We ordered like joyful bandits—almost half the menu—yet clarity arrived with the yellowtail sashimi: cool, lunar slices, silken and bright, the kind of purity that hushes a table. Gyozas followed, pan-kissed and juicy, snapping with that perfect edge. A seaweed salad—feather-light, mineral, lively—proved that restraint can sing louder than spectacle. My wife’s ramen—broth deep as a drum, noodles with a springy grin—was a quiet thunder; I’ll claim it on my next visit, which won’t be far off. But the truest seasoning was company: dear friends, laughter folding into the dusk. Ginza doesn’t just serve dinner—it frames memories and lets them glow.

Best sushi ever! What a gem in Tucson. The authenticity of this place is unreal. The vibes are great and I absolutely love the bar seating. Service is great and orders come out quick. The uni is so fresh and so sweet. The agedashi tofu was so crispy but so soft and silky on the inside. Also love the fried soft shell crab. Can’t wait to come back!

My favorite sushi spot in Tucson. Its a tiny spot NE tucson in a shopping center so it gets a bit packed. Our last visit was 45 to be seated but if you call at least a day in advance you can make a reservation. I like to get the 9 piece sashimi to share and a roll. The ceviche roll is light and citrusy and savory. The spicy Tuna us good and not too spicy. I swear away from the rolls with cream cheese, just isn't my thing. I fid try the Diana roll because it sounded amazing but the warm cream cheese really wasn't palatable, IMHO. Overall not that pricey for the quality and service.

First time here, but it sure won't be the last! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and the service was outstanding. We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, the Mango Roll, the Heart Attack and the Baked Scallop Roll. I can honestly say we did not have one bad or mediocre thing. Favorite though? The Heart Attack. Drinks were equally as good. The Cherry Blossom & Typhoon are pictured here & were so good we had a second round! The chefs were amazing to watch in action & friendly. We will definitely return & spread the word!
Lesley C — Google review
Overall experience was good. To start we got there and there was a wait for a table or immediate spot at sushi bar, so we opted for that. The people making the sushi were incredible and their timing was perfect. Honestly made the experience 10x better. Roll quality was good. I would argue that it’s a little overpriced for what you get… and for that reason it won’t be our regular go to sushi spot. The order yourself on paper is fine, but the options vs available descriptions made it challenging for dietary ordering. The staff making the rolls were honest and confident about ingredients which was great. We got three Ginza specialty rolls, two basic rolls, and edamame. It’s definitely somewhere to go with friends or have a more dark and intimate setting for date night.
Lizzo — Google review
Expensive for the quality and quantity. It was better than mediocre, and we paid over $90 for 5 smaller than average rolls and shrimp with noodles. For that expense, I would have expected some complimentary mizo soup or edamame. It was rated #1 on Yelp for sushi (the whole reason we went), and honestly I've been to better places in Tucson for sushi. There were lots of people there. It's small inside, the bathrooms were cute with the rock displays on the floor, but out of soap. The atmosphere was nice, dimly lit but very loud and our waiter spoke quietly we couldn't hear him. I don't think it'd go back. Not anything special and overpriced. The specialty rolls... weren't much better than the regular rainbow and dragon rolls. Not impressed, but it wasn't bad. If I went again I'd try a sushi boat... but may not be anytime soon.

Awesome hidden gem tucked into downtown Tucson. I've visited OBON several times, and it's consistently a fantastic spot to have some lunch or dinner. The Ramen is wonderful! Goodness they're sooo good, while I do miss the steak option, the current menu choices remain top notch! 🐔🍤 Definitely my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. 10/10 recommend🍶✨

My favorite spot for ramen! Delicious and the staff is attentive most times. Typically, I spend around $70-$80 for two people. It is downtown, so be mindful of any events that may be going on that could make thi space busier than usual. They offer reservations but I've also never had to wait longer than 20mins if there is any wait. While they do have a couple larger tables and an outside area, I definitely don't see them being able to house multiple large parties. Definitely call to make a reservation if you're planning on any more than 4 people just to be safe! Always have a great time here and can walk around downtown after!

Prior to our visit, my parents had an amazing time here, but we were left a bit disappointed. The food was good, no denying that. The ramen was great and the sushi was excellent. The only downside was the fried rice, greatly over sauced and salty. The server took it back and replaced it was a much better one. However, they forgot to serve us the gluten free version and we almost had an incident occur. Speaking of the service, while our server was polite, he failed to check in. However, the place was busy. Overall I’d give it an 8/10. Recommend coming for the sushi!

This place is like a food court. Many different vendors. Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs Cheesy Taco: It reminds me of a Birra taco but with a lot of cheese. It was delicious with a nice crunch. Only complaint is it was the size of a street taco. Monster Nachos: It is Doritios Loco Nachos with carnitas. The carnitas has a great flavor. The nachos cheese sauce is spicy. My favorite dish is nachos and I wouldn't order it again. Monster rolls: They had a great crunch. It was the same ingredients as a birra taco but like a egg roll. It tasted good. Walter's Gourmet Pizzeria Garlic knots: It wasn't what I expected. It had a light buttery garlic flavor but the texture of the bread didn't feel right. Buffalo Wings: They were hot. The ranch that came with it was really good. Chicken fell off the bone. Pizza: Not sure what the wife ordered but it had cheese, bacon, sausage, ham, and bacon. It was good and surprisingly it has a slight crunch like a thin crust pizza. Loved it.

Yamato Japanese Restaurant is a charming, chef-owned establishment located on East Grant Road. It's known for its exceptionally fresh sushi, which can sometimes make it difficult to secure a table due to its popularity. The owner and chef, Noboru Nakajima, brings his skills from Japan, ensuring top-notch quality in the sushi, particularly the nigiri. The menu is small but high-quality and includes famous sushi rolls as well as the Chef's Choice Sashimi.
I’ve enjoyed eating at Yamato for years. I would call it a traditional restaurant, as you won’t find. Teppanyaki the sushi is great and more traditional, and if you want to have the day and a day out Japanese food like katsudon, or sukiyaki, you’ve definitely come to the right place. This is Tucson, not Tokyo, but I have never been disappointed. They make the best katsudon or futumaki in Tucson and a lot more besides. I have not had everything on the menu, but what I have had I loved. It is a small facility, so you will find reservations necessary. I can’t say enough about Yamato.

We were in Tucson to enjoy a few nights at a resort and were looking to have a authentic sushi meal since Prescott AZ is lacking in quality sushi restaurants. Yamato had good reviews but still had moderate expectations before arriving, which the exterior and interior when arriving could only be classified as moderate to time warp from the late 90’s when the place opened. We had made a reservation to sit at the counter and upon being seating the whole experience only went up and by the end of the night we both felt it was one of the better sushi meals in recent memory and compares very favorably to top notch sushi places likes Sushi Ota in San Diego, at least on food quality and interaction with the owner/chef. We ordered ala carte from the menu with a few suggestions from the chef, everything tasted fresh and the rice was of the highest order. The chef said he uses 3 different vinegars to balance it out properly, and you could tell. He also had a special cured salmon which was delicious and something unique to Yamato the he created with a previous employee that I would highly recommend. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking on the food. Overall Yamato blew away our expectations and while the decor might be stuck in the 90’s, the prices are also from a few years ago which amounted to very reasonable check considering how much we ordered. If you’re in Tucson and want an authentic sushi meal this is the place and be sure to try to reserve to counter, along with asking for what the chef recommends for the evening.

Yamato is our favorite sushi restaurant in the Tucson area. The quality of the fish is always top notch and the sushi chef is meticulous in his preparation. Dining here is always an enjoyable experience. The seating area is small, so reservations are recommended. The dining area is bright with a relaxed feel but you'll be focused on the flavors too much to be overly critical of your surroundings. The Chirashi is always made with a nice selection of fish. I highly recommend the cured salmon that the chef makes in-house. We also ordered the Hamachi Kama during one visit, which was also excellent.
Brian D — Google review
Surprised to see the ratings so low. This place is very high quality, especially for Tucson. What a gem, great sushi and amazing dinner entrees! Excellent kind service too

Gem and best sushi in Tucson. Quaint spot with an authentic feel and great chef.
Allison B — Google review
Excellent customer service, the food was great, it’s a very clean place. We love the sushi, the miso soups. Everything looks fresh. Definitely going back….
Guadalupe H — Google review
Best and most authentic Japanese food anywhere around these parts. The nice man who makes all the sushi is a master, and has been doing this for as long as I can remember. His wife (I believe) makes all the cooked food in the back kitchen with so much care and love. This is the ultimate family-owned restaurant experience. Try the vegetable udon soup, it is just like magic healing soup!

Best sushi I had since I went to Japan. The fish was very fresh. I’ll surely go back!

At Samurai, a charmingly unpretentious Japanese eatery, you can dive into an array of classic rice dishes, noodle soups, and delightful small plates. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, perfect for enjoying quality time with friends over delicious food. Their menu features fresh ingredients crafted by skilled chefs who whip up signature rolls like the Kappamaki and Super Hiro Roll at lightning speed.
Unagi don was good. I've also had their tonkotsu ramen which is also good They could use a remodel but the place still feels clean so it really doesnt matter The folks running the place are nice too! Definitely a great place to get lunch or a quick dinner
Daniel R — Google review
I've driven past Samurai for years and decided to finally give it a shot given the reviews on Google and as much as I hate to say it I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Samurai's website does a really good job of portraying a nice well kept restaurant that serves beautifully crafted sushi rolls and various other Asian dishes, the reality however is that Samurai is a small hole in the wall with limited seating and looks like it could use a really good deep cleaning. Samurai's staff was very friendly and helpful and I loved interacting with them but the food and atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. I ordered a spicy salmon Don, a Mexican roll, a deep fried Las Vegas, a catapillar roll, a plate of salmon sashimi, an order of chicken yakisoba and, some miso soups. I initially felt ok with the $112 price tag until the food arrived, I was surprised to see so many paper plates and couldn't believe how small the rolls were or how poorly cut the sashimi was with bits of skin still on the fish; the yakisoba had no flavor and the miso soup is clearly just an instant packet. There are so many amazing sushi restaurants in Tucson that I can comfortably say you should pass on Samurai and spend your money elsewhere for a quality good tasting well presented meal.

Me and a friend went and we both liked it, the portions are good and the staff are pretty nice, but I do recommend they give the place a makeover and put more decorations up to brighten up the place
Pantuffis F — Google review
This very unassuming Japanese restaurant is not fancy. It's a bit quirky on the inside and tight booth style seating. There's a full menu on the wall for you to look at as well as pictures of multiple dishes so you get an idea of what you might be getting if you're unfamiliar with that Japanese food you may want. The woman that took our order was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen looks pretty small but again the restaurant space is pretty small as well. We ordered Tan Tan ramen, spicy tuna-don volcano style, a California roll, and gyoza. The Tan Tan ramen was pretty good, better than I expected it would be, as it's hard to find this ramen in Tucson that comes anywhere close to the flavor in Japan. The spicy tuna-don volcano style was pretty good as well according to my wife as was the California roll. I think the gyoza was not as good as it could have been but was okay. As far as the location goes, if you're not using some type of a map you may have a hard time finding it as it's tucked away in the back of a strip mall that is mostly out of business and right next to a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu place. There's plenty of parking since most of the strip mall it's located in is empty.
GT B — Google review
I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. It's unbelievable. To begin with, the restaurant is filthy from the moment I walk in. The bathroom looks like it's never been cleaned in years worse than that at a run-down gas station. The food was extremely overpriced; the rice was very wet and soggy. Food was subpar, and no service existed in this place, yet they still expected a tip. The food tasted like it was old and reheated. The noodle soup tasted like the cheap Raman you buy for a dollar. I spent $120 on this place for my family and will never return. Again, it's astounding how this place has anything above a 1-star rating. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Patrik — Google review
My son and I are new to the area and found this restaurant online. We noticed no cars in the parking lot which raised my suspicion a little bit we tried it anyway. I was shocked to see how little food we were given for a little over $40. I know I shouldn’t said something and asked for my money back but I didn’t want to spoil the dinner for my son. The amount we received was not worth the money and we won’t be going back.
Shelley R — Google review
Soo good. Found this place via Google cause of the great reviews. Living in Hawaii and going to Japan we are a but picky on food. So this place lived up to its good reviews. We loved it. Will be back for sure. The sukiyaki was so good we ordered one to go too. .
K V — Google review
Very much a run down hole in the wall restaurant. The octopus in the takoyaki was very chewy and not cooked correctly, also very very fishy. The curry pork Katsu was pretty good honestly but the pork was very dry and hard to chew up, also didn’t come with enough actual curry.

Sushi Zona is a casual Japanese restaurant that offers meals comprising ramen, sashimi, chicken, pork and noodles. All of these dishes are freshly prepared with the customer in mind and are definitely something you wont want to miss.
This sushi restaurant is the best! From the time I entered I was welcomed. You do not feel this way at many restaurants now a days. The wait staff were excellent and quick to bring me a menu and drink order taken. The food was amazing! Not too many places place wasabi on the rice for you for your nigiri, they do! I was pleasantly surprised! The rolls were excellent too! I highly recommend to anyone! To the business owners, and staff, you do amazing work and it does not go unnoticed. Thank you! I will definitely be returning.

Needed my Tampopo fix. Hadn’t been here in a while. Warm and welcoming environment, well maintained. The food is beautifully presented, absolutely delicious. This visit was for the soup, but the sushi is also outstanding.

Great food here, I honestly loved it all. We ordered a lot cause it was my birthday, but you can definitely get a filling meal that's not too expressive. The sashimi was my favorite, very fresh and delicious.

Excellent sushi! Fresh and quite a lot of food for the price. Great service! They also do to go orders.

My wife and I were given the privilege to go sport fishing in San Diego and came home with a beautiful Mahi Mahi (Dorado). We drove straight to Sushi Zona for our favorite Chef Taichi to prepare our 20 hour old catch. We were not disappointed, he did an amazing job cleaning and preparing the fish. He served us Sashimi, Nigiri and grilled fish, including the grilled collar from our catch. It was the best sushi I've ever had in my life. All of the staff was polite, timely and friendly. The ambiance at night was amazing. I would recommend Sushi Zona to anyone in Tucson without a second thought. Thank you so much Chef Taichi and staff, you have all given our family a very special memorable moment.

We ordered Deluxe Bento and Triple Crown Bento. The nigiri sushi’s bottom rice part was too dense for me; I prefer fluffy, light rice that isn't so packed together. But overall we like it and will come back again.
M C — Google review
Disappointed with my to go order of the sashimi sushi boat. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes after I arrived after they said 20 minutes on the phone. There were only 2 packs of soy sauce in the order (did not have any at home). It came with 6 California rolls, not sure the name of everything else but it was expensive for having the California rolls. The white fish on the roll of the right side next to shrimp had an odd taste and it rest was just ok. It came with 2 small soups, 2 salads, and two containers of rice.

Been here several times and I believe this is one of the finest sushi restaurant in Tucson. The environment is very clean and the staff are courteous. Their sashimi is fresh and served with traditional Japanses sushi rice. We ordered chirashi and Japanese beef curry. The chirashi bowl looks fantastic, the sashimi on the top is really fresh and the rice is also delicious. Recommen for fish lover. There are only very few places offer Japanese style curry in Tucson, and they do a great job. In general their food have a good portion. It is true that they are a bit pricy but it worth. Also, they have delicious green tea cheese cake!

Ramen restaurant
Kiwami Ramen is a charming Japanese eatery that offers a variety of authentic soul food, including their flavorful signature pork broth featured in most dishes. The cozy restaurant has a small menu where you can order ramen by number and customize it with add-ons. While the majority of the broths are pork-based, there are options for everyone to enjoy. Customers rave about the delicious Pork Broth Black Garlic Ramen and the delightful pork pot stickers.
Visiting Tucson and this place was lovely! We were greeted as soon as we entered and had the best service ever. Immediately seated and the food was even better. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Probably one of the best ramen spots I’ve had!
Flor L — Google review
A bit on the pricey side but a treat is worth the money you put into it. So DEFINITELY worth springing for it. Got the Black Garlic Ramen and Takoyaki. Service was quick even though they were busy. Tiny inside but outside was comfy and spacious.
Joseph J — Google review
I came mid afternoon on a Tuesday. I was the only patron. Was greeted and seated quickly. The food came quickly. I ordered the blackened garlic ramen. It was okay. The broth was good, but the pork was tough. The staff was friendly and attentive. My biggest complaint was the off-putting conversions that the middle-aged man (manager/owner?) was having with his much younger staff. It was very inappropriate for this setting. Especially considering that the majority of what I was hearing was directed to a female worker that was about half his age. I'll probably order to go next time.
Dustin K — Google review
Disappointing Experience at Kiwami Ramen My recent visit to Kiwami Ramen in Tucson left much to be desired. While the taste of the ramen broth itself was decent, it was unfortunately marred by being overly salty. Furthermore, the dish was served at a temperature that was not hot enough, which significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment. The "spicy" element of the ramen was also a letdown. Despite adding all the chili provided (for which there was an extra charge), the promised heat simply wasn't there. The ambience of the restaurant was just okay. My visit was around 3 PM, so it wasn't particularly busy. However, the most disappointing aspect of the experience was the service. I was asked to pay twice. First, the server came to my table, and I informed her that I was still eating as I am a slow eater. Shortly after, the manager approached me, also pushing for payment while I was still working on my meal. This felt quite rushed and unwelcome. Considering the lukewarm and overly salty ramen, the lack of actual spiciness despite the extra charge, and the pushy service regarding payment, I would not highly recommend Kiwami Ramen based on this experience. There are likely better ramen options in Tucson.
Cesar A — Google review
We went back again and I had the salmon poke bowl, it was beautiful and delish! Very good ramen. I had the tonkatzu, and the broth was very rich and delicious. The noodles were also very rich, and the dish had a very generous portion of meat. The custard egg was perfect. Overall a very delicious ramen. Could be spicier.
Danielle D — Google review
Place is great. Super tasty, my favorite ramen in Tucson. Meat is good. Broth is great (a bit fishy, just a note if you don't like that). Atmosphere is great. All in all, 10/10. We go there a lot.
ECN S — Google review
First time coming into the restaurant and I loved the aesthetics of the inside! It was clean, organized, nicely decorated for the theme it was going for (like Japan!) The food was really good and we got a free sampling of a spice that added even more flavor to the food we ate! Definitely will come back again soon!
Mx K — Google review
In all honesty, I can't rate this establishments food. I wanted to, but our little party of 3 showed up and were told that there was only bar seating available. That's it. Someone had reserved "The Table" and nothing else was available. Was looking forward to trying out a new place but wanted a small table for our party so everyone could share food and conversation. We were celebrating a birthday and were excited to try out their menu. It looked good. When I asked if a small table would be freed up soon, we were told no, we could eat outside (it was 105°F) so we went to another ramen house. Kinda disappointed because we really wanted to try this restaurant.

K Sushi-Bar Japanese Restaurant is a casual spot located in a strip mall, offering classic Japanese dishes with a focus on sushi. In addition to their standout sushi, they also allow customers to customize their own noodle soup by choosing the base, noodle type, and toppings. The restaurant is known for its friendly and helpful service and is recommended for those who enjoy spicy ramen paired with sake.
The sushi here is excellent, so tasty and fresh! Far and away the best Philly Roll I've had in this city thus far. Yes, it's easily better than Yoshimatsu's sushi offerings right down the street. This is definitely a spot that my girlfriend and I will be returning to just for the sushi. But that's not where it ends, the ramen here is great too! The only thing that may effect your experience with the broth is the inclusion of sweet corn. While I do enjoy it, if you don't eat it right away it will change the flavor of the broth, making it a bit sweet. The pork in the ramen is excellent, and easily my favorite part of the dish aside from the perfectly cooked egg. The ramen here would without a doubt be in the running for Tucson's best. (Also thank you for serving with extra wasabi! I love it, and most places don't give enough) I really wish more people knew about this restaurant, so I'm doing my best to spread the word. If you're on the fence about trying it, don't be!

Nice little spot for sushi. Their menu is affordable and the sushi is pretty good. This place would make a great lunch spot. I had their bento box and it was delicious. The restraunt itself was very calm and the service was great. Our waitress was very genuinely nice and sweet.

Best Sushi restaurant in Tucson! And yes, I agree it’s an understatement. I don’t think I’ve had one thing I did not like. Recommend to try the Seis Avenida Roll, Bear Down Roll & the Tootsie Roll. However, you can never go wrong with the classics either. Bento boxes, House Rice and pretty much all noodle dishes are to die for. Their Ramen is also on another level, again, probably the best in town. This place has it all, delicious food AND amazing service. Not once has either disappointed. We love eating here, because of the food and the people. Thank you for always being so kind! 👏💛

K Japanese is a laid back comfortable atmosphere to enjoy some straight forward Japanese food. The staff is always friendly and the portions are great for the price. I have had ramen here as my main meal several times. The tonkatsu broth isn't the richest most flavorful, but it is good and they serve it up with lots of noodles (which I love!). Their ramen is served Sapporo style. The sushi is also good. Worth a visit.
Alexis F — Google review
Service is always great. The California rolls are a bit on the dry side, they need more avacado and more crab meat and less cucumber. The lunch bento with gyoza and teriyaki chicken was great though. I would visit again and try something different.
Kyle A — Google review
Pros : good service , good serving size My pork was so perfectly crunchy. The nigiri was a good proportion of fish and rice. Cons : The cucumber that was decoration unfortunately was a little Browning. Miso wasnt the most amazing, but was still pretty good. Too me it was a little sour?
Victoria D — Google review
The ramen was very delicious, we got the char sui and pork tonkatsu. Tempura ice cream was made very well as well. Definitely a place that deserves to be patronized!
