I found this local homemade ice cream shop in Tucson and loved everything about it. I tried the honeycomb and berry poppins flavors and both were amazing. The flavors were fresh, creative, and really well balanced. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the flavors and how they’re made. It felt really welcoming and genuine. If you’re in Tucson and want a treat, definitely stop by. The ice cream is great, the people are kind, and the whole place just has a good vibe. I’ll be back for sure.

Absolutely loved this place. We went there two nights in a row and whoever the young lady was working give her a RAISE! She patiently explained every ice cream flavor, gave samples, was friendly and all this while there was 10 people who all walked in at the same time. Not only was the employee amazingly friendly, but the ice cream was top notch. They have a vanilla+honeycomb flavor, a sea salt base, fruity flavors, great flavor combinations and fresh made waffle cones. I wish I lived closer so I could keep coming! Top notch ice cream and service!

This is THE. BEST. ICE CREAM. I HAVE EVER HAD. I travel across the country from the DC area just for this ice cream. The honeycomb flavor keeps me dreaming about this ice cream shop from the minute I leave Arizona, until I’m able to make it back, usually over a year later. I come, and make sure I go at least once a day. I’ll hit any and every location. I have people I know bring back pints at a time for me. I tell everyone I know in my hometown about this ice cream flavor. I can not and will not ever settle for another “favorite ice cream flavor”. The ice cream is fully loaded with honeycomb and honey ribbons, I’m never getting a spoonful of just ice cream, there’s always ribbons and chunks of goodness. If I could inject it into my veins I would. I want it on tap in my house. I would legitimately pay to fund the opening of a location in the Northern Virginia area. This ice cream is not to be effed with. Prepare for greatness, and double up on the honeycomb flavor.

Took my children for the first time and had an amazing experience! The man who took our order was nothing short of exceptional! He walked us through the ordering process and helped me while I picked out my ice cream flight. He also explained the points system to me and how we can use our rewards.

I visited The Hub Restaurant & Ice Creamery on a quiet Wednesday night (3/5/25), and while the experience had its highs and lows, it was overall a decent outing. Starting with the service—it was good. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure everything was taken care of. However, the food itself was a bit underwhelming. I tried the Prime Rib Fries, and while the portion was fair, the meat was slightly dry. The cheese sauce, unfortunately, had seized up under the heat lamp, likely due to the slower night. The Buffalo Wings were at least served warmer and had a standard flavor you’d expect at most places offering wings, but nothing particularly stood out. What did stand out was the ambience. The mix of exposed brick and modern design gave the restaurant a stylish yet comfortable feel, making it a great spot to relax in downtown Tucson. Overall, The Hub delivers a nice setting and solid service, but the food could use a little more attention—especially when it’s not busy. I’d be open to giving it another try, maybe on a busier night when everything is fresher.

Went here for dinner since it was close to the hotel I was staying at. I ordered the Calamari to start and I was surprised in a good way. It was a very Asian inspired dish that was very different for this type of restaurant. The tempura was the right amount of crisp. As my main I ordered the seared salmon over risotto. As the salmon was seared, I was expecting it to be a little raw in the center. Still great with the compliment of the cheesey risotto and the hint of cranberries. Very good overall and would go back.

The Hub was the spot. We went in knowing exactly what we wanted based on some social media posts. We chose the Mac n Cheese (with chicken) and the Pot Pie (with Chicken). They DOD NOT disappoint, delicious. Weather was pleasant so we sat outside, inside did look nice and comfortable. The bourbon whiskey selection was insane, reasonably priced pours.

Ordered a non alcoholic drink of blue color and it was so soothing. Took fish and chips. The fish was not fully marinated and cooked. The fries with cheese and herbs were good. The pistachio ice cream was delicious. The ambience is very family oriented and lively. The service is great.

Tried the pastrami and cheese curds tasting as part of Tucson Food Tours led by Chris. So good! Fun place to eat.

First night officially open! Valentine's Day! Great unique menu. We both went Sea Bass! Most wise decision! Amazing. Had appetizer clam chowder soup and shrimp, Desert Lemon curd tart and strawberry cheese cake. Yummy. Did the Custom cocktails too. Very fun outdoor dining experience. Ed was a good server. Manager checked in too! Highly recommend giving the Hub a try.

Overall, Frost is a great place to get gelato. I wouldn't recommend a clear frosting cake, though. We ordered a birthday cake with the clear frosting, and it didn't come out the way I thought it was. The cake wasn't made when I arrived an hour after the time it was supposed to be done, so I had to come back about 2 hours later. They made it in a rush, and it was missing some of the toppings(nuts). I am not sure everything was set when we took it, because when we got home, I put it in the freezer right away and then later that evening the cookies and writing shifted around off the cake. The clear look was not as appealing. The fruit frosting example they had looked appealing, so maybe that one is better. However, my wife is adamant she doesn't want a cake from there next time.

My scoop wasn’t as decorative as other photos posted. The green tea flavor is beautiful however the cheesecake is rather weak. The texture of the gelato is excellent. All the flavors should be on par with the rest.

Best gelato in town! No high fructose corn syrup or artificial sugars in there regular flavors. I do not know about the candy/cookie ones. I recommend their award winning creation that tastes just like a snickers bar!

SO GOOD - it never disappoints, and I love that the gelato is creamier than ice cream with fewer calories!!! This location on the northeast side is my favorite. Love it! Also, we really appreciate the free Frost Bite for military folks.

I love coming here during the weekend. It’s super unique and such a nice place to get gelato. They make everything and gelato in all different flavors. I always get a different flavor each time I come in. I like the fact it’s healthier than ice cream. So I don’t have to be super concerned about the calories per say. The employees are super chill and patient when I am trying to decide out of there many delicious flavors to choose from. I would recommend if you are looking for an alternative to ice cream that is still delicious and freshly made.

Its a very delicious and refreshing way to cool off in the summer. I love that they have such a variety of sorbets but some of the Gelato flavors were a bit disappointing. Overall a great treat in the summer.

Great spot for gelato. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Very clean inside, good customer service and every flavor is delicious. I like the outdoor seating. This is where my friends and I always go after spending the day at Mt Lemmon to help us reaclimmate to the heat 😅

While visiting Tucson with some friends, we were treated to Blue Ice Gelato. This place did not disappoint. We loved it so much that we went back for a total of 3 times in 10 days. The gelato was exceptional, and the prices were very reasonable. I wish that we had this shop in my hometown in California so I could experience their offerings again. I can't wait to go back to Arizona just for this treat.

The location couldn’t be better… you were just dining with friends at one of the neighboring restaurants and as you’re leaving, invariably one of them says, “Anybody up for gelato?” Uh, well, yeah. Who isn’t? It’s a nice shop, adequate selection. Sweet tooth satisfied. That’s Banana Cream Pie in the photo; the Pistachio is also a favorite.

Absolutely delicious, great flavors & the perfect sweet treat (but not too sweet!). The prices were great & servings were the right amount. We tried the salted caramel, pistachio, & cookies & cream flavors. 10/10!

Frozen Delight is truly THE BEST frozen yogurt shop! They have options for everyone, from vegan to dairy free, you name it. So many delicious options to choose from. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, shakes, boba tea and slushes etc. Every time I come in I am greeted with a smile and amazing service. The owners and staff are super kind and helpful. It is always very clean and the treats always taste fresh. I can’t speak highly enough of Frozen Delight. The owner is such a wonderful, nice man. I always love bringing friends and family here. This place has been here for years and we finally stopped in for some sweet treats. The kids each ordered a junior ice cream ($3.95 each) and we ordered boba drinks ($4.25 each). One with a green tea base with a mango taro mix and popping bobas - it was sweet and fun. The other was a milk base with coffee and traditional bobas - it was sweet and carmelly. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and gave the kids lots of samples. We'll definitely be back.

I got a small sized cone of chocolate/vanilla frozen yogurt swirl. The cost was $5.29, which I suppose is fine. The proportion was about 95/5 chocolate vanilla which was interesting. It was still enjoyable and service was fine, though I was handed the cone before I finished putting the cash in my wallet, so I asked if they could hold the cone until I finished putting the cash in my wallet. Solid, and I guess this finishes my visit to all of Tucson’s ice creamery’s. Nothing special here, but it’s fine enough

I absolutely love this place! The ice cream was delicious smooth, creamy, and full of flavor but what really stood out to me were the chocolates. They had such cool, unique designs that made them just as fun to look at as they were to eat. It felt like a little work of art in every piece. I seriously wish we had one of these where I live because I’d be back all the time. Such a fun and memorable treat!

Showed up at 8pm on a Friday night. Busy, everyone in a good mood, including the to women behind the counter. A good variety of Gelato. I chose cappuccino and triple dark chocolate. Store was clean, prices were reasonable.

I was the only customer in the shop and I asked to try a flavor and the first thing I was told is there’s a very STRICT 3 flavor limit… ok? So, I got a small cup of gelato and was shocked that she didn’t fill the cup past the brim. And in fact, she painstakingly made sure to scrape off any gelato that did go past the brim. Why do you display on your counter cups with dome plastic lids if you don’t fill them past the brim? It’s very disappointing and deceptive. Another customer came in after I had gotten my very small and precisely measured cup, and she asked for a sample and was not told that there was a strict 3 flavor limit. Not sure why she wasn’t scolded about the rule, but whatever. Very over priced and rude, I won’t be back. I provided a picture of how to properly fill a cup for future training purposes. We recently had Bella’s Gelato come to our office to serve over 50 team members, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The team was friendly, professional, and incredibly organized. They made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. The gelato itself was amazing — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. They brought a great variety of flavors, so there was truly something for everyone. Our staff couldn’t stop raving about it, and many went back for seconds (or thirds!). If you’re looking to treat your team or host a special event, I highly recommend Bella’s Gelato. Their service and quality are top-notch, and they definitely brought some joy to our workplace!

Bella’s Gelato Shoppe serves the best gelato in town. They have a great selection of flavors. They also have several non-dairy flavors. You can eat inside, on the patio out front, or take it home. They are super dog friendly. The staff is always very friendly.

Brought the family here from out of town. We usually look for the local ice cream shops instead of the big chain businesses. I noticed they had Blue Bell Ice Cream on one end of the shop and an unlabeled ice cream on the other side of the shop. When I asked the lady about the unlabeled ice cream she claimed it came from five different dairies. So I ordered a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It was icy and had a terrible flavor. The wife and kids got a cookies and cream and ended up throwing it away. When I asked her what kind of vanilla bean ice cream it was she answered in a very rude tone, "what kind of question is that?" She said no one had asked her that question before and basically ran us out of the store because I guess she was closing. I normally do return to a business with so so products if the service is great. Overall, the service was as bad as the product and I will never bring my family back here again.

I like nothing about it. The owner was rude inconsiderate and by the way doesn't like children. I asked what kind of toppings she had she had a limited supply. being a customer I ask to use the restroom which she sent me over to Brueggers bagels. After that a little girl was asking for a change of ice cream on mini scoopbecause being a child that she was she was finicky and didn't like what she had we had hoped that we could get a replacement but the lady said no you'll have to pay for it she didn't have any consideration for the mother because the little girl was upset about not having the option. sheets and proceeded to schools and yell at the little girl for not complying with her peace and quiet and told the little girl that she would have to leave with her mother and friend because she was upsetting the owner. The place was hot muggy and it smelled bad not to mention the lady was rude and I will never shop there again she had expensive prices and is not customer friendly.if this owner hates children so much why does she make her shop appear to be child friendly? the woman said it herself I am an old cranky woman and I cannot handle the noise so you're going to have to leave. wow talk about customer relations being on this downhill slope for this individual. good luck in your future job you're going to need it!

The service at this place was almost confusingly bad. I asked the owner(I assume) if I could have a smaller scoop while she was putting my cone together and she was incredibly rude about it. I told her I didn't mind paying price I just wanted a smaller scoop and that seemed to really set her off. I paid in cash and tipped her three dollars (foolishlessly hoping that she would lay off the attitude) and she didn't even look at me, or say anything when I said thank you. I told my friends about this and they had similar experiences. I'm never one to critique a food place for service, but there's no reason to go out of your way to be rude to customers, especially for so-so ice cream.

Best ice cream in Tucson. The service is good and you can't complain about it when only one person works there the owner herself. The owner joe is a sweetheart. Also their bubble gum ice cream is the best.

When in Tucson, there are plenty of places that you should try. Oasis is one of those places. Try the raspado - a snow cone topped with fruit, ice cream, and leche. You can thank me later. I like pineapple and coconut. Definitely worth a visit.

Best place to get Raspados Mmm they make it perfect just the way I like it. This is a large Raspado with ice cream leche and nuez with a shot of strawberry juice. Mmmm sooo good.

I’ve been going to Ceres for a few years and Noodies was just as good! The place itself has very cute decor and there is a lot of options for seating. The food was great and I’m excited to come back!

Great food! The pasta was delicious, as were our salads. Very good atmosphere and kid friendly with a section that has toys for your kids to play with while you eat!

Pasta made the way YOU like it ! The owners of Ceres have yet another great food experience for us . Noodies was able to customize everything I ordered to be vegan . They have several options . The tomato basil sauce is delicious ! I love that their portions aren’t outta control and you wont leave feeling stuffed and bloated. They make fresh pasta in house and you can taste the passion in every bite . Plenty of gelato and dessert to choose from. ( no vegan desserts )This is a low key casual type of dining . Don’t forget to grab some cute swag in the way out .

Stopped in for the Birria Bucatini special of the month. It was amazing! I little more heat forward then I was expecting, but that just means it exceeded my expectations! The gelato was delicious also. I had to grab the peach cheesecake on the way out the door, and wasn't disappointed with that either. I will have no problem visiting again. Stopped in again for their Chinese Choriso preject special. It was great also.

Noodies blew us away with their impeccable food, atmosphere, and especially service. The woman working in the kitchen overheard one of our party remark that the caprese sandwich looked fantastic, and she surprised us with mini caprese sandwiches so we could try them. I've never had service that good - incredible! Everyone who worked there was so pleasant and friendly, and food was so delicious. We had pasta, salad, sandwich, and their gelato. Everything was superb. We will definitely be making this a regular spot for us.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it! I recommend the Vodka sauce.

The water is the best in Tucson, I get the alkaline, but the added minerals is also great! I had never had anything like the Indian ice, and it is delicious and surprising with an assortment of taste and textures. My kids love Thrifty's ice cream. The place is clean and the owner is friendly and efficient.

We had Indian gola here, they taste yum. Rajbhog is the best, but all others are good too. Had tried few ice creams too. One of the good place to visit in Tuscon for Golas and ice cream.

Amazing little shop. I love that I can wash my bottles before filling them up! Different kinds of water to fit everyone's needs. The Indian ice cream is so delicious as well as the great priced thrifty scoops. The workers are so kind. The lids to one of our bottles broke, and my husband didn't have any cash on him. They so graciously gave him one and said just pay for it next time. How did they know we would come back? We most certainly did, and the gentleman thanked us for being honest and paying it back. Little acts of kindness are more of what the world needs and why we will continue to go back to their establishment.

They have a good variety to Indian gola and snow cones. Must try. You will love.

I like coming here for the alkaline water and the dairy-free protein smoothies! I've only had one of the protein smoothies and it was pretty good, aside from the date seed that was blended into it.. I didn't mind spitting out the little pieces as I drove home! The employees there are always nice and quick to help me. The filling time for the alkaline water is longer than I expected, but it gives me enough time to run to Safeway a few doors down for anything else I need while I'm out and about! I would definitely recommend this business for your water refill needs!

Everything to eat was okay - not great, not terrible, but probably not return customer quality. Our waitress (as we're all of them) were super friendly, organized, and reasonably fast. I mean, it seems like more of an event type place with their decor, birthday staff songs, and some eye catching dishes (I saw a shake - I think - with a sparkler in it. But the food I had was average, my burger bun basically melted away from the juice, and saw another at our table like that. Worth checking out, but maybe just for photos and ice cream?

This place is awesome! Loved the vintage cars out front and the whole 50’s vibe inside the restaurant. Great photo opportunities! The food is great and our server was so sweet…I’m sorry, I forgot to get her name. If we are ever in Tucson again, this place will be at the top of my list to visit!

My sister raved about this place having the best pancakes in town, so I had to see for myself — and wow, she wasn’t wrong! 🥞 The pancakes were fluffy, delicious, and absolutely worth the hype. Definitely a must-try spot for breakfast lovers!

This place was wonderful! The atmosphere and prices are incredibly great! The serving sizes are also very generous. This is like. A 50s themed diner. I had the fried combination, appetizer, the chicken fried steak, and a shake/malt for dessert. All of these items are pretty good and well priced for what you get. I couldn't believe the volume of shake I received for $7. Our waitress and the manager were very attentive and helped us with everything we needed. We also got to see Elvis and Marilyn Monroe!

This is a jem of an old style diner!!! Yummy food!! Great atmosphere and sweet servers! Great pricing! Large portions! You won't be disappointed!!!

First I would like to start out say never been at the restaurant only delivery. They have outstanding calozons and pie slices thought I would expand my horizons. Tonight was a cheat night so I ordered meat ball sub 1st picture is the advertised sub and next pictures is what showed up for the cost of $12.00 half tin foil wrap had the what little bit of cheese and sauce this item should be dine in only to send back As with anything now days what you actually order and receive is a gamble.

This is definitely my go to spot when I’m in tucson! I always come and get this pizza with my girlfriend and it’s always a hit. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to Tucson and is craving some pizza. Also wish they had some locations in Phoenix! I’d give more stars if I could.

This place is a hole in the wall. However, the pizza is not greasy at all. The veggie slices are amazing, and the ranch is delicious! The service is quick, easy, and professional. The food taste is fresh and delicious! They also have gelato.

Great food and service after a full day of sightseeing around Tuscon. Old fashioned ice cream fountain fare. Chocolate Root Beer float, Deep Fried Mac and Cheese Bites, Patty Melt with Tots, Grilled Cheese with real batter-dipped Onion Rings topped off with a Hot Fudge Sundae and Orange Sherbert. Shout out to Alyssa and the team for taking care of us!

This place is super cool. My kids love it as they have trains all over the place. Plus they give colors and papers for the kids so they stay busy and not running around lol. Their ice cream menu is so delicious. I have tried the snickers sundae which was fabulous. I will definitely come again with my kids and try other stuff on their menu and maybe their food as well.

We came here for lunch! The waitress was super nice! The food was delicious! I had the Studebaker sandwich and it was fireworks in your pants good!! The ice cream was also super yummy!! They had a dessert with sweet potato fries and ice cream... I know what you're thinking but it was delicious!! I would highly recommend stopping in and giving their food a chance!

Sullivan's is our go-to restaurant in Tucson for great tasting burgers, steak fries and ice cream. The service is always good and the food and ice cream is always yummy. We get the meal deal which includes a hamburger, cooked your way, with the toppings you choose, fries (their steak fries are the best), a large drink and an ice cream dessert sundae for a decent price.

Loved our lunch here! Great kids meals and all the sandwiches on the full menu were fantastic. Had the bacon cheeseburger, the turkey club and the Studebaker. Also tried the fries, potato wedges, Cole slaw and onion rings. All were great. Onion rings are battered and fried crispy golden, the wedges and fries were perfect. The ice cream was also delicious. No complaints at all. Would come back if we were in the area.

The regular food menu is nothing special, as it’s pretty typical dining food. Regardless, it’s not bad, and will fit most people’s needs. However, the reason to come here is unquestionably for the ice cream. The ice cream is homemade, and is genuinely some of the best, most creamy and delectable ice cream available. Whether you want a simple scoop or an indulgent sundae, you can definitely find your satisfaction, and more, at Sullivan’s! I visited again and got a grilled chicken sandwich. It's a fine sandwich, although nothing special where I think it's a bit overpriced. The service that I received was great though!

Excellent burgers and ice cream. You can build the burgers anyway you want with all kinds of topping options. The play oldies music and it is the vibe in the restaurant as well. All of the staff was pleasant as well.

We live 45min away downtown. I was craving for a good ice cream. I asked my husband to have dinner in this place. He is not happy driving that far but since I haven't tried this place he took me. I was disappointment. The pistachio ice cream is not good at all. The chocolate ice cream is average. The food that we order is not so good too.

We tried pistachio, a bourbon almond, and a rotating Nutella flavor, and they were all delicious

My daughter wanted to good to the HUB, because they have the lavender ice cream. I tried different flavors to see which one I wanted. I did not like any of the flavors. I ended up getting regular chocolate. All these different flavors were not my cup of tea. I would have given them 3 stars, but since my daughter loved the ice cream there & gives them 5 stars. I will go off my daughter's assessment & give them 5 stars.

Incredibly generous scoops, decent flavor selection, and very reasonable pricing. The best thing is that their spoons change color when cold. Made the experience level up as it was a fun surprise. Outside seating at a couple of tables and 3 tables inside, but close enough to a ton of other places to sit and eat when busy.

Absolutely amazing ice cream. Good prices. Friendly staff. Cute building. Great atmosphere. Plenty of options of flavors and what you want to do with your ice cream (milkshake ect). Small indoor seating area and a few tables outside.

Minus a full two stars for the absolutely TERRIBLE service this afternoon. There is one person staffing the ice cream shop on an afternoon between Xmas and NYE. This group ordered two shakes - not at the same time, the guy made one, and then the other half of the group had to try half a dozen flavors before ordering another shake, which by the way - this guy takes about 10 minutes to make, so we've been waiting 20 minutes now, and six people just walked out. If I didn't already have my heart set on peppermint ice cream I would have left already.

Nice ice cream place with a lot of flavor to choose from. Their lavender ice cream is excellent. My husband had a cookie sandwich and it was stuffed with ice cream. Definitely will be coming back

Came here for a late birthday meal with my fiance and mom! Drink menu was very creative. The food was very yummy. The prices were a bit high for the portions you get but all together the food was great. Server was also very friendly and had a great personality.

I have passed this place several times and have wanted to give it a try. I'm so glad I made the journey across town. I recommend the Elote and bread for apps.The calamari was good as well but I don't care for the dried checheron, so that app didn't hit as good as it could have. For the main the Braised short rib with polenta along with the Wolf & shrimp linguine were wonderful. The birria Pizza was dry, probably because it sat at the window drying out before we got it. The taco cannoli was good, but the hibiscus cheesecake cake was a little too tart for me. Overall it was a good dining experience and I will make sure to eat there again in the future.

The food was very good! Loved the Italian mix with southwestern taste! The service was great! The ambience of the restaurant was just ok. Very casual. The parking area was a little odd at least the back alley area not much room up front for m parking. There's a wash with homeless ppl om it and located next door is a mj dispenser so all you small is weed.

Zio Peppe is interesting but good. Pulling up to the building you wouldn't expect the interior. The bar area, tables, and pizza building section are very open and nice. The front counter is just okay and nothing fancy. Our server was spectacular, other than being a Mets fan 😉. I was a bit surprised how long it took for the order to arrive being we were the first ones to order over lunch, but I'm also not in a hurry so it was okay today. The appetizer (Calamarrones) was interesting and good. I would have never thought the combination of camarrones, calamari, and homemade chili oil would work but it definitely does... try it! The bucatini arrab meatball dish was very good and will order again, uses local meat. Wolf shrimp linguine was a bit salty for our taste but the idea was very good. Would try again if less salty. It's not traditional Italian flavors but uniquely Sonoran. The bottom line is I definitely recommend Zio Peppe! We'll be back!

Visited Zio Peppe while we were in town for a conference, and it was absolutely a hidden gem. We were about a 25-minute drive from our hotel, but it was worth it. The staff was great and the service too. Good pizza, good drinks, and great company. Great little spot!

Italian meets Mexican and makes magic! What a complete delight. I started with calamari with chicharrones and the bread with an infused goat cheese spread. The bread was amazing and the spread you eat by the spoonful. The calamari was perfectly executed, I did not care for the black underlayment for the calamari, it had a texture like charcoal and a charred flavor, I personally did not see how the dish benefited from it. For entrees we had the figgy stardust pizza, it was epic, you would think those flavors would not go together but they do. We also had the tequila rotini pasta dish, a play on vodka penne. I really enjoyed that as well. We also tried the chili and cheese infused ravioli. Those I would not order again as they simply paled in comparison to the other dishes. Dessert was a little more hit and miss. They’re version of the tiramisu dish was a tasty adaptation. The Jamaican cheesecake I would pass on in future visits. The taco style cannelloni honored its roots and tastes just like the original at a classic Italian restaurant. My personal preferences aside, there wasn’t a bad dish to be had. It’s a refreshing and daring adaptation of Italian classics, but it just works and it works well. There is a lot of love and passion in the food and it comes through! I will be back and I look forward to tasting other creations. Side note, the bourbon selection is weak but again, that’s a personal point for me and in no way impacts how I feel about this amazing little place.

During my stay in Tucson, Zio Peppe was by far the best place that I ate! The Sangria Rossa was made perfectly and was delicious. I had the Ravioli and it was outstanding with just the right mix of tender pasta and delicious filling and topping. Even though the seating was close due to the small size of the restaurant we had no problem conversing. Highly recommend!

Went in for a sweet treat and expect great things about this because I’ve read all the reviews online. We have 7-8 people, bought 5 cups to share. Went in 1hr15 before closing (just to let the staff have time before their closing routines). Was super considerate and try to make less noise as possible because we have one small kid with us. Not sure if the fact that the staff was having a bad day or not but she was rude and lack of energy. We try to brush it off as because its closing soon and she might be tired the whole day but was not professional at all. And not friendly. Not sure if we come off as what to her but yeah we’re new to town and completely shook at this. Anyways, wont be back for sure, the white chocolate taste bad. and the rest was okay. But the experience was so so disappointing. Never want to complain but everyone was agreeing with that fact.

The store is nice , good ambience but you have to know which ice cream or frozen yogurt flavor to get. I got the soft serve - Belgian chocolate Tahitian vanilla- it wasn’t as fancy there was hardly any flavor in that soft serve. But a friend ordered the chocolate molten crunch, which wasn’t very crunchy, but had much better flavor. The puppy ice cream was ahead with my puppy.!

Stopped in after picking my kids up at school. The associate working looked up when we walked in, but then looked down immediately. She never greeted us, asked if we had any questions, or even acknowledged our existence. I had to stand directly in front of her at the register to get her attention. I don’t know if she’s shy or rude, but either way she doesn’t come across as friendly. I ordered the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip yogurt. It looked, and tasted like plain chocolate soft serve. My daughter got ice cream with Oreos and said that the Oreos tasted stale. She didn’t finish it. The only positive thing was the price. Three smalls and our total was just over $12

I used to work at an old school ice cream shop many years ago, and the quality of the ice cream here was even better than that. Very good, and definitely my new go-to ice cream spot here in town.

It is under the new ownership of Nancy Kilmer. She has kept it the same as the previous owner including the prices. 6 different flavors of frozen yogurt, with 23 different toppings to add if that's what you prefer. I had the non fat, sugar free & low-carb mounds bar frozen yogurt in a cup. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Tasted just like a mounds bar! I should add they have some prepackaged frozen yogurt in the freezer if you are in a hurry. The lobby is currently closed due to covid but they serve at the door. I will be going back soon!

This locally owned business has the best frozen yogurt I've ever had. I had a small cup with peanut butter and chocolate and was blown out by the flavor and thick creamy awesomeness!

Purchased pre-packaged yogurt. I took a bite and threw them out. Gritty and they were packed 5 months ago. They tasted stale and nothing like tart peach or strawberry. Bought a fresh yogurt too and purchased a large and it barely a small. Never again!

AMAZING. We were blown away at how good the food was, I expected great things and was not disappointed. The Pesto with the shortcut plus a Burrata ball was 12/10. My bf got the bolognese and said it was one of the best he's ever had, and he's extremely picky when it comes to red sauces. We also took two cannoli's to go and they made them fresh, so good.

Love this place! My friend and I have been going here every other week for the past year and they have never disappointed! Their gelato flavors change every week, so there’s a small downside with limited time/missing out on different flavors. However, their gelato flavors are always so delicious, even the ones that seem eccentric.

Popular spot so be ready to wait a while. Solid pasta. Would’ve been a 5-star review but I when I asked an employee if they have black pepper she spoke in a condescending tone stating “uh not really” before walking away. I understand y’all are busy, but it wasn’t a wild request.

The best pasta I've ever had! This was my first time having fresh pasts and WOW. The staff was super sweet and answered all my questions, they also didn't rush me which I appreciate because I was super indecisive. I will deff be back!

We have been off and on about this place the last 3 years. We typically order from doordash and at first, the food was always good and then about a year and a half ago every order was awful. My husband got it recently and said it was super good so we decided to get it again last night and again I was disappointed. I got the pork sandwich and the amount of pork to bread is depressing. Also the bread they use is some weird garlic bread that I ended up trashing. I paid for cole slaw to be on it and that amount was extremely small. The portions also do not match their prices. No extra fees and a meal for 3 almost cost 100 bucks. The food isn't terrible, but it's not the best I've had. It's edible.

We got the food in a very timely manner! And It was good only reason there isn't 5 stars is cause my teeth hurt from chewing a couple pieces of fat or bone. Otherwise for my first BBQ place it wasn't a bad choice and I'll go again.

Let me start of by saying that I like the place. Big screens are abundant, the bar had a nice selection of libations and the food in the family size was abundant. The service was excellent as our waitress made up for a snafu. The ribs were tasty didn't need sauce but the brisket was chopped (not my preference) was good with the different sauces product.

In the timeless words of Stephen Colbert, what I order “is potato,” so maybe that’s not the go-to dish here. The taste is great, but I would love to see some consistency with my delivery orders — I’ve had a hungry portion served as regular (and vice-versa, to their credit), had orders show up with no BBQ sauce (of all things to forget), and found the single-serving side orders way overpriced. On the flip side, the smoked turkey is good, and messy potatoes are still a treat, even if I have to add my own sides or condiments.

Great food. Real BBQ. Love everything. We had the ribs, the brisket with sweet potatoes, coleslaw with fries and a couples of beers. Restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. The choices of BBQ sauce on the table was finger licking good.

My wife and I came here for the first time for lunch and we loved it! We live in a rural part of town outside of Tucson and it took us about one hour to get here. We tried not only the ribs combo, but we also had the roasted chicken, pork belly (holy s*!t - highly recommend!), a mild sausage link, and pork rinds and four different sides. When we first arrived we were happily greeted (I wish we knew their names) by a wonderful lady who was so happy to help us figure out the menu. She showed us where things were on the menu and gave us suggestions. She also gave us a discount and we were elated! The food was amazing. We're both nuts for ribs and the addition of the giant BBQ sauce bottles made it even better. The sweet molasses sauce was insane - we could probably drink it because it was that damn good. The restaurant itself was nice and cool inside (they had a great AC system). The inside of the restaurant was decorated with sports memorabilia and was fun to see. The best thing about BrushFire aside from the ribs was the customer service. They treated us like family and I'm not even kidding. They took care of us in a way that no restaurant has. When we told them we lived an hour away and had to take food home, they packed it for us in several bags to ensure everything would stay as hot and fresh as it could. We've been telling everyone about BrushFire and we will most definitely be back. My wife has told me three times to make sure you know how wonderful the customer service was. Thank you so much for making our experience one to remember. My mouth is literally watering thinking about the ribs with that sweet molasses BBQ sauce.

I love the food selection, I like their sauce, but the meat, especially the brisket was Horrible! And when I went to return my daughters nachos with the brisket I was told that's how our brisket is. Gummie and chewy, daughter could not enjoy nachos, the meat was not edible. Chicken tenders for 2nd daughter was hard as ROCKS

This little burger joint is all vegan. It's part of the AMS annex plaza. We like everything. The beer bartered cauli bites were cripsy and not overly seasoned. Bay cakes on a bun, I'd recommended in the boat not on a bun. It's just a bit heavy if you're eating multiple items. Banh v was great but not enough cilantro and a bit too much sauce for the amount of ingredients. Limeade with prickly pear was delicious.

I love eating here. The food tastes so fresh and delicious! I got the B7 burger, which had peanut butter, a chutney, lettuce, and peppers. I also got a side of fries, and the whole meal complimented each other.

We thought our burgers were okay! We weren't blown away, but we certainly did not dislike the food. My greatest qualm was not with the vegetable patty but rather the split-top bun. It fell apart very quickly and was difficult to eat (not sure if it was intended to be that way based on the name of the bun style), but tasted delicious and buttery. We found the spice + herb French fries surprisingly unflavored in comparison to how colorful they appeared. Don't get me wrong though, they were still good. I think the menu items were very innovative and creative, and the service was quick. I might stop by once more to try some more dishes.

The BEST little food truck situation. Burgers are a 10/10 - I don’t usually like bean burgers and I devoured mine. Flash fried green beans and sweet potato fries are also BOMB

I'm very much a carnivore and I thought it was great. The thing I've never understood is trying to make vegetarian versions of meat. Beaut Burger is good because it's it's own thing. It's made from vegetables and tastes good on it's own without being processed into something fake. It's a cool atmosphere and casual. The prices are reasonable and so are the portions. I would definitely go back.

My wife is vegan but I'm not. We try to alternate and accommodate each other. We had burgers. My wife had the sweet potato fries and I had the regular ones. The burgers were good, although the vegan bacon on mine was a little too chewy. The location has trees interspersed among the shops. Unfortunately, these trees dropped tiny yellow flowers throughout our dining. Otherwise my wife and I enjoyed the food and will probably visit again.

Incredible flavor and texture!! Can't tell you how silly I feel for rating other vegan spots in smaller towns as "the best"! The pulled pork sandwich was exceptional and the Ruben was just as good. Most vegan spots have great taste but miss texture or the other way around. Beaut hits both! P.S. - fries are great too

Some really fun flavor options and location is great. Giving 5 stars more for the atmosphere than the actual gelato (it was great, but I wasn’t satisfied with my flavor choices). Felt a bit rushed to choose my options even though I’d never been in before. But the cute location and the ability to eat your gelato out by the fire was really quite fun. Just room for improvement on the service/ordering experience.

The ice cream and just the ambia'nce reminds me off home. love the view off the mountains...my Grandkids love the ice cream. Now the friendlyness off some staff could improof. The young lady's had an attitude. There is a middke age lady working b4 she is Awesome

We were here for Mother’s Day . This was our first time so we couldn’t decide on flavors. I swear every 10 seconds the girls were like “anything else” almost like they were in rush to do something . This was around 9pm and they close at 11pm . Once we left , some ran to the back and two stay hanging with these guys ..basically rolling there eyes when people would walk in . It was a very disappointing experience

Stumbled across this place accidentally, decided to give it a try. Great, tasty selection. Really good as my first "gelato" experience!! We will be returning here next time we are at La Encantada.

This is the best ice cream I had in the USA. I tried it 3 times till now and it was amazing. This location was great. This picture has dark chocolate 🍫 (it was to tasty) the chocolate flavor in it is rich. The lemon 🍋 was great. The Nutella was good. But the dark chocolate and lemon so tasty. Will come back soon for sure!!

Love bringing my pup here. Coffee is consistently fabulous. Occasionally there's a yummy GF treat I can have (they rotate, sometimes it contains peanut butter which is a no-go for me) which is a nice but not necessary bonus.

Very bad service! I paid 7 dollars for a latte, and they gave me just milk, the latte was terrible. I asked them to add more coffee, and they said I had to pay for it, with a very bad attitude! I’m never coming back to this place.

Friendly staff and a cool modern design made Decibel Coffee a memorable experience. And the coffee itself was excellent. I had an iced decaf Americano with heavy cream. The Coffee was smooth and nutty and only very slightly fruity. Just enough fruity notes not to be flat or bitter. But not so much that it was sour. The barista accommodated me by putting the raw sugar into the coffee whiles it was hot before adding the ice. Which makes all the difference. They also added just the right amount of heavy cream to accentuate the nutty flavors in the coffee without washing out the taste completely. Good baristas make all the difference.

I used to love Decibel, but there's definitely been a decline in the last year. There's nothing like spending $7 on a latte only, to feel like you ruined someone's day by asking for them to make you coffee. There are a few individuals here who have a terrible attitude, and on top of that I am looking forward to the owners replying to this dismissing the fact that their service isn't anything but service fit for the Ritz. Their oatmilk is trash, parking is now a pain, which I understand isn't their fault but it is just the icing on the cake.

The medium-roast coffee I had was fresh-brewed and I added a shot of espresso for a classic "redeye." Without the shot, I might have questioned the strength, but with the shot, I found a perfect, strong, fresh cup of hot coffee to sip in their outdoor patio. The patio is modest, with 10+ metal tables in the complex (the shops sits within a complex called "the Annex" off the Tucson bike loop to the west of downtown.

Really sensational little coffee shop. Fully embraced the beautiful Tucson weather by having mostly quaint outdoor seating among the trees and a few cacti. Incredible baristas who pull a great shot of espresso. And I had a particular affinity for the scones, which were fresh baked and had some unique and fantastic flavors (like blood orange or rhubarb). Unfortunately I live on the other side of the country from them, but I think back on the few mornings I spent there fondly.

Cool location, great coffee and pastries. I will definitely be back. The pastry had like an earl Grey glaze or soemthing, it was incredible.

Our group of 10 enjoyed the tour. The guide was nice, but she showed a presentation on a tablet. I’d suggest hanging a TV on the wall so a large screen is visible to all. It was hard for my friend with vision issues to see. The $20 tour fee we each paid was extremely overpriced for the small size of the facility (not more than 1,000 sq ft) & for the time of the tour. Granted, many of the chocolate pieces are a stunning work of art. However, if you prefer milk chocolate you’re out of luck and will be very disappointed because everything is dark chocolate! It may SAY milk, but it’s all dark. I love supporting fair trade businesses, but the prices are very high. And, the cafe recently relocated so you can no longer stop here for a cafe treat or Mexican hot chocolate. Glad I went because I saw this business featured on Arizona Highways a year or so ago and wanted to check it out. I enjoyed the chocolate covered cashew brittle purchase, but wouldn’t return or really recommend.

My partner and I came here to celebrate Valentines Day, we got the choose your own box of 15 and every bonbon we ate was divine! We also got drinks, they got the Chai and I got the Cocoa Nibs Horchate which were both incredible. The atmosphere is really chill and there is enough space to sit and enjoy your chocolates. Would recommend this place for anyone who needs a gift or just wants to eat some amazing chocolate.

Delightful chocolate bars sourced from all over the cocoa growing world. Hand painted chocolates by the piece. Ice cream. Coffee. Interesting tea selections. Friendly, knowledgeable staff willing to engage and explain anything. Got a white chocolate mesquite bar and Madagascar dark. Coming back for house made ice cream. Shop/factory takes sanitation very seriously. No place to hang out inside. Get your ice cream and mosey on outside to the tables, Pardner. Also best hot latte I ever had in Tucson. Chocolate bars range from $9.99-11.99, had to take off a star because it’s priced so high you almost can’t enjoy eating your paycheck.

Gorgeous cafe (the atmosphere was seriously so delightful) with delicious pastries made from bean to bar chocolate. They were out of their single origin chocolate bars and bonbons but were upfront that it was because of the holiday slam (which is understandable). I had a Mexican hot chocolate and a s’more that was everything I wanted and more. Their more savory menu looked tasty, too.

OMG, anything with chiltepín pepper is a MUST TRY here. Also the almond praline was to die for. The coconut caramel tastes exactly like the coconut spread they put on toast in Singapore. Those were my favorites out of the eight chocolates that we tried. All the flavors were very well balanced and not too sweet and also BEAUTIFUL. Very Instagram worthy and also taste great which is a rare combination. This place has odd hours and their cafe isn't open for another week or so. Staff was really nice.

This local Tucson chocolatier gets nothing but praise and prizes. Though open a few years, I finally went to see and taste for myself. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. When I asked about how well they’d hold up in/out of the car on a warm Tucson day, they promptly offered ice packs. Got home and indulged in two pieces...🙃 wow! Can’t encourage enough...you.must.go! - Evelyn

Just stopped in for a Mexican hot chocolate and boy did that hit the spot!! A little thick, & kinda spicy, this cocoa is delicious. They also have truffles & bonbons but I stick to the drinkable kind. Staff was nice and everything clean. Mask required.

This is THE BEST Ice Cream Shop in Tucson!!! 😍🔥✨🤩 I’m an extremely tough critic when it comes to food, especially ice cream, and this place completely blew me away! The flavors are phenomenal, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. I believe this is a family-owned business, and the staff here were incredibly welcoming and kind. I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the flavors and desserts on the menu, but they were so patient, taking the time to explain each option. They even offered me samples to make sure I found the perfect scoop! I ended up getting a double scoop waffle cone with Strawberry Cheesecake and Cake Ice Cream—both were to die for! The Strawberry Cheesecake was hands down the best I’ve ever had, with big chunks of rich, delicious cheesecake. The Cake Ice Cream was unlike anything I’ve tried before—it had strawberry jam, chunks of cake, and sprinkles. The flavors were perfectly balanced and totally unique! On top of the incredible ice cream, the prices are super affordable, and the portion sizes are huge—you’re definitely getting more than your money’s worth here! If you're searching for ice cream in Tucson, do yourself a favor and come here ASAP. You won't regret it!

Love this place. The guava paleta is crunchy with guava seeds, which it should be. Good chocolate ice cream. Good strawberries and cream ice cream. Never thought I'd find a place I like as much as Mateo's in LA, but this might be even better!

I came to this shop about a month ago and made it a point to get this banana split because I read a review with a picture of a fantastic looking banana split, yet the reviewer left a whiny 3 star review complaining about their own ice cream choice and disliking strawberry preserves. I forgot to review until now, but I remember how bomb that banana split was. That other review is just pure petty whining.

Pulled up before closing, I saw they had high reviews so wanted to try. I got a banana split. I should have gotten 3 different scoops of ice cream instead of just vanilla. It had A LOT of ice cream & bananas I think I could have shared it with my 2 kids as well(myself & husband shared). I didn't like that they used strawberry preserves in between the bananas. I will have to give it another shot n try out the cocktail de elote & tosti locos. Place looked clean & well organized.

While their actual Italian ice is decent, we have had two bad experiences here and I don't think we will be risking a third. Both times involved ice cream not being available. The first time, they said someone had turned off the ice cream machine before completing our order so no ice cream for half our party. The second time, we ordered and thought everything was fine. Then we were told oh by the way, the ice cream machine is broken. Now, I realize that we are at Jeremiah's Italian Ice and not Jeremiah's Ice Cream, but their claim to fame is their layered desserts so that's what I wanted. Also, they did not have chocolate Italian Ice, which would have been a reasonable substitute at least for some of their items. Oh well.

Be prepared to pay $5.38 for a small gelati. When it came out, I was sure it was a kids size. It's outrageous!!! Yes, it's very good, but that is pathetic to charge that much.

My favorite smoothie bar. Fruit shack is locally owned business which is a plus for me. Their prices are lower than other places and they have superior ingredients. I got the pineapple twist smoothie and açaí energy bowl. They both were great and did not disappoint. Total was $20 for smoothie and açaí bowl. Would highly recommend

The smoothies are extremely tasty and they adjust each smoothie accordingly to how you want it ( they will take items out of it and add things to your liking or blend it more depending on the consistency you want with no fuss ). In my experience, the workers there have been incredibly kind and accommodating, especially since i can be particular with how i want things. They are extremely helpful and work with you. They also have games and tables to play them on. The fruit shack has a very welcoming environment. I will be returning and recommending anyone who enjoys fruit smoothies and more to go there. BE KIND, no one will want to be kind to you if you aren't kind to them, and these workers certainly deserve kindness (I'm sure they would make their efforts is being kind to all of their customers, but its a lot harder when the customers suck) All fruit is fresh !! Again, their smoothies are DELICIOUS!! I love this place.

We stopped in here late Saturday morning, our first time here. The only employee we saw was multi-tasking like a champ and still delivered fast and friendly service! Our extra large smoothies were made well and delicious, and my son was happy they had his favorite bars available for purchase. We will be back!

I've been here multiple times and having ordered several different things and have loved them all! The staff is always super nice, helpful and quick to get orders out. It's right down the street from my house so perfect location for me! The place is always clean and welcoming. They even have a selection of different healthy snacks.

Love that this is a locally owned business and the staff was so kind. I was visiting from out of town and really enjoyed going here. Remember it’s important to support your small local businesses when you can vs big box stores like Smoothie King!

Love it ❤️ it's a new place (open 6 months ago) and the owners are local and very nice ♡ Clean restrooms and nicely done with a rotating board that shows many of the wonderful items on the menu ♡ if you're gluten free there are many options too. Rebecca is very accommodating with your preferences and can suggest something. There are so many wonderful choices, I can't wait to go back again. We got the Moroccan scramble this morning and it was delicious. You can get it in a burrito or in a bowl and they have gluten free toast instead of the flour tortilla. Service dogs are welcome and they also have a patio with a nice view of the Catalinas for a dog friendly spot. Close to Sabino Canyon, they also offer take out and you can order over the phone or on their website.

Food was delicious, employees seemed super nonchalant. Who appeared to be the owner/manager looked irritated they had to do everything while employees chatted or walked in the back. Maybe it was because it was closer to the end of the day. The couple that ordered after me got their food before I did. Then they filled a to-go online order and then I got my food. Food was good but not sure I'd go back.

This restaurant is exceptionally good. I am very impressed. All the ingredients of my very affordable dish were fresh. The lunch and dinner menus contain many vegan dishes. The service and the atmosphere were excellent at well. Outdoor seating is in a quiet area of a nice mall with a beautiful view of the Catalina Mountains.

We've been coming to this place multiple times for soup and sandwiches for months and months and always enjoyed the food. Today we got just one soup and sandwich wich was great & I ordered a blended green juice . For the life of me , I was totally surprised when I got my green juice as it was 80% ice cubes 🧊 and 20% juice. Why in gods name would you put ice in any juice? And the juices aren't cheap. $ 10,- for a small cup that couldn't be more than 5 oz of actual juice and about 7½ oz of Ice. I sent it back and asked for my money to be refunded. Your juices are already refrigerated, don't water them down with cheap ice cubes .🧊🧊🧊🧊

Food was delicious, we got a grinder with a bowl of chili. Kinda small. We also got an Arizona sunset it was yumm! And the place was nice and clean just no paper towels in restroom.

My kids and I love going here. I usually get their fruit bowls. We have also gotten their smoothies and ice cream. I really like that I can order online and pick up. They are very fast at preparing the food.

I am beyond happy this place exists and I hope they expand. It is so delicious, amazing customer service. Michelle is the nicest and just really enjoy this place. CONSISTENCY and this place has it. The coffee is STRONG and I love that. The mochi donuts are 🙌🏼🔥. My kids have had the ice cream (AMAZING), the brown sugar boba swirl cup is delicious. It’s a great place for treats and they’re so nice and friendly! I am making this a weekly visit since it is a hour drive but it is worth it‼️ Hope they expand closer to East Tucson one day!

This place is amazing! I ordered 2 orders of shrimp spring rolls, 2 orders of chicken spring rolls, 2 orders of crab Rangoons, 3 chicken banh mi with each different sauce, a unitea and a perfect trio tea. Everything was delicious and fresh.

Got there early and they were just finishing making the boba. I got the iced Thai Milk tea with Boba. It was fresh and delicious. Then I ordered this delicious waffle treat. So good!

i am SO sad because this was my first time trying this place and the drink was so good(i love firm boba) but there was literally A DEAD BUG SMASHED UNDER MY LID SEAL which i didn’t notice until after I drank ~75% of it… how does that even happen😭

the staff is super friendly & always willing to help out and answer any question i may have. the owner is really nice, from the short interaction i've had with them! as of writing this post, they no longer take cash. but! they're looking to add so many things to this place like taiyaki fish cones that o' my buns advertises, and testing out new food options. super excited to see how this place develops! ...alright so I'm an ice cream connoisseur of the downtown Tucson area, and let me tell you. you won't regularly find taro, matcha, nor thai ice cream flavors at other places like the screamery nor the hub, but you can find it here at unitea. my favorite especially is the taro ice cream! hopefully more students from around the university come & check it out, too! i can't write much about the quality of the boba balls, but i *know* the taro ice cream is just ... divine. i want tubs of the stuff.
