Nestled in the heart of North Austin, Michelle's Patisserie is a delightful bakery that specializes in crafting exquisite made-to-order cakes for weddings and special occasions. With over 40 unique cake flavors to choose from, each creation is not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor. The journey of owner Michelle Doyon began in her grandmother's kitchen, where her passion for baking blossomed into a thriving business that has been delighting customers for more than 19 years.
This place is ideal for a delightful high tea experience! The setting is classic and charming, with a lovely European vibe. The staff is warm and attentive, adding to the overall inviting atmosphere. The tea and food are both flavorful and expertly prepared. Our favorite was the Peach White Tea, which had a wonderfully smooth taste from start to finish. The Brie and Fig Sandwich was a standout—so delicious, we wished we had three trays of them! We’ll definitely be back with friends, as everyone should experience high tea at least once in their life.

We called and placed an order the week before for my husband's mom birthday, who was turning 80! The customer service was superb and we had the option to order the flavor of cake we wanted. We trusted Michelle with the design and oh my....did she deliver! The cake was simply beautiful and tasted amazing! She even delivered the cake at our scheduled time. We would definitely recommend getting your sweet treats here!
Tiffiany N — Google review
We ordered a 3 tiered strawberries and cream butter cream wedding cake and it looked fantastic! They delivered the cake to the event flawlessly. We were, however, disappointed with the taste of the cake. We had a cake tasting and chose the cake based on the flavor. The main issue I have with the cake was that there were hardly any strawberries! When the cake was cut and a lot of the middle frosting was revealed, I could see how sparse the strawberries were distributed within the frosting. When you got frosting, cake, and strawberries in one bite it was awesome, but the infrequency of those ideal bites was frustrating. We paid a lot for our cake, so maybe my expectations were too high. Photos below to show how amazing the cake looked!

We ordered our wedding cake and pastries for our dessert bar from Michelle's for our wedding and they were all absolute show stoppers! Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect and looked beautiful! We ordered a semi-naked cake, very simple, with two different flavors (Cream of Coconut on one tier and Lemon Raspberry on the second tier) and both were delicious! We ordered a variety of small pastries for our dessert table (cheesecake squares, tiramisu squares, strawberry champagne petit fours, mini orange cupcakes, raspberry macaroons, and apricot macaroons) and we didn't have any left after the wedding. We chose Michelle's because their desserts aren't too overly sweet, they truly have the perfect balance. Look no further than Michelle's for the perfect wedding treats!

Michelle’s Patisserie did my wedding cake and it was amazing!!! It looked exactly like our inspo picture. We went with Bourbon caramel pecan and Amaretto peach as our cake flavors and they were delicious!!! Our guests love the cake! No leftovers!

This obsession started with a cake eating contest. Im not a cake eater. But I had been to many events where she had custom cookies, pastries, dessert boards and i loved all those but never tried her cake. I joined the contest because i dont mind humiliation. The cake was so delicious and moist. I won the contest and the prize was a small cake of my choosing

I needed a gluten free cake for our wedding - my husband and I had done quite a few gluten free tastings, but they all tasted dry and off somehow. We found Michelle’s Patisserie I think through another bride on here and I’m so happy we did! We actually had our tasting in-person with Michelle and she was so attentive and thoughtful in how she approached decorating and making our cake. The other tastings we had, they literally just set up to-go boxes for us and we had to eat it on our own, with no explanation of the cake or suggestions of filling/cake pairings, or anything. That’s why we loved Michelle’s because we really got the cake tasting experience AND the gluten free was so tasty, not dry or flaky. You couldn’t even tell it was GF. We did classic almond, and honey lavender flavors. We had multiple guests get multiple pieces and said it was so good! We kept the top tier and I’m super excited to eat it again in a year.

Yummy cake!! Michelle's Patisserie was easy to work with and provided us with fantastic cake. We chose Lemon Lovers and Tiramisu as our cake flavors, and they were delicious! The cake decorations were exactly what we envisioned.

Coffee shop
Quack's 43rd Street Bakery is a laid-back coffeehouse with a nostalgic charm, offering an array of baked goods, panini, and espresso drinks. Originally known as Captain Quackenbush's Intergalactic Dessert Company and Espresso Cafe in the '80s and '90s, it has evolved into a beloved spot in Hyde Park.
I'm so glad I finally made it to Quack's! This bakery is a gem. I decided to try their chocolate cake and apple pie, and I wasn't disappointed. The chocolate cake was incredibly moist and flavorful, definitely one of the best I've ever had. The apple pie was also fantastic, with a flaky crust and a delicious filling. Plus, the outdoor seating area is really charming - a perfect place to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. I'll definitely be back to try more of their goodies!"

Small bakery. They do not carry donuts. Just pastries. We got 3 muffins and a coffee $20 The pulled cinnamon muffin was delicious! Worth the price.
TINA D — Google review
Best kolache I think I’ve ever had. Look at the cheese crisp outer edges!! The danishes are flaky and delicious. The cappuccino was less than ideal as it had that burnt flavor to it. Definitely coming back here.
Saman B — Google review
I've been coming here for years and just realized I've never submitted a review. This is one of my favorite neighborhood bakeries. My favs are the chocolate cake, sugar cinnamon roll, ham and cheese croissant and coconut pie for my Granny. Today I went in for the croissant. The flakey butter crust practically melts in your mouth. The cheese and ham combo blend perfectly to create this breakfast treat. The service here is always professional and welcoming. There are several small tables and chairs outside. This particular area reminds me of old Austin. Its lovely to sit outside Quacks and enjoy your snack or beverage on a nice day.
Quincy U — Google review
I used to come here when I was in college and I remember it having the best apple pie where the apple was sliced so thinly and it was great, but unfortunately, they stopped doing that for a pretty standard apple pie recipe - chunks, not sliced. I was pretty disappointed. The cinnamon roll was good, but they don't warm it for you and sure, they have a microwave you can use, but there's no plates for it - I would have rather them had it behind the counter so I didn't have to put the roll on a napkin just to get it warm. I also got a hot chocolate here and read off of reddit that their hot chocolate doesn't come out scolding - which was true, it was very drinkable when I first got it, but lost its heat pretty quick. This isn't like the Quacks I used to go to and I probably won't be coming back.
Vanessa — Google review
Just went to quacks for some coffee and a vegan chocolate muffin. Coffee was absolutely delicious. Muffin was great too. I bought the key lime pie for a friend’s birthday from here a little while ago and it was a huge hit. Also, the staff were so friendly. I will be back
Emma M — Google review
Amazing baked goods, pies, kolaches, cookies, and coffee drinks. Staff and team are AMAZING.
Jake T — Google review
The service was mediocre. Not very friendly, and they forgot one of my items even though id asked further questions about it so I had to drive all the way back to get it, and I understand they may see a lot of people but I was literally there maybe 10 minutes prior and the staff showed no recognition. The items were mostly reasonably priced, though $5 for the size of the carrot cake seems high to me. And the flavors were just okay. The carrot cake was a bit too sweet for my liking. The cream cheese danish was huge but a bit dry and flaky, and made it difficult to get a bite with all flavors. The snickerdoodle was good, and a great size. I liked the Czech tea cookie well enough. The merch was cute and well priced. If I’d been more of a fan of the pastries I would definitely purchase.

Dessert shop
Sugar Mama's Bakeshop is a well-known bakery in Austin, with vintage decor and a cozy atmosphere. They gained fame by winning Food Network's Cupcake Wars in 2020 and have since become a staple in the local dessert scene. Their autumn-themed cupcakes are particularly popular, featuring unique flavors like Caramel Apple, The Notorious F.G., and 24 Carrot Magic.
Sugar Mamas made the deserts for our wedding and we honestly could not have been happier. No one else I spoke to was able to make the cake we envisioned but when we brought the idea to Sugar Mamas they made it no problem. It along with the vegan chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, and toffee cookies were/are the best deserts we’ve had. So much so that the cookies have become a staple in my household. The employees were/are always kind and welcoming. The communication before and on our wedding day was on point and the end result was better than we could have even dreamed of. We highly recommend Sugar Mommas for events or even just as a delicious treat should you find yourself in ATX.
Rachel B — Google review
We had Sugar Mama’s cupcakes for the first time today! Everyone raved how delicious they tasted. We had the gluten free/dairy free chocolate and also the red velvet, chocolate and vanilla. The cake was moist and the icing was very creamy. All were beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back to get more! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. You must try it!

Leslie with Offline - Wow these cupcakes are delicious! I got the Elvis and it is true to each of the flavors descriptions! It was absolutely delicious

Truly amazing - they made the cake for my husband’s bday + cake, cupcakes, cookies for my 3 year old. Looked great & tasted even better! Sugar Mama’s has dedicated customers in the Forbes family!

Delicious cakes and cupcakes and other small desserts. We bought a carrot cake cupcake and a lemon bar - both fantastic!

Sugar Mama’s is awesome. My daughter had an idea for her birthday cake n of course, Sugar Mama’s delivered. Not only did they bring her idea to life, the taste was amazing! Thank you for making this a very happy 14th( Halloween) birthday!
Keitha M — Google review
We recently visited Sugar Mama's in Austin in the afternoon and were thrilled to find that it is still as delightful as we remember from years ago. My absolute favorite is their red velvet cupcake, charmingly named Angelina. It was just as delicious as I recall, with a perfect balance of moist cake and creamy frosting. The atmosphere is cozy, but mostly a quick pickup kinda vibe, making it a good spot for a drop-in for sweet treats. The service was okay, but the 🌟 of the visit was definitely the cupcakes. If you're in Austin and have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend stopping by Sugar Mama's for cupcakes. It's a nostalgic favorite that never disappoints!
TopFoodieReview — Google review
ALL of my party guests were delighted by the red velvet (both vegan and non-vegan) cupcakes from Sugar Mamas! They were rich and tasty - I'd highly recommend ordering cupcakes for any event! The sprinkles were and adorable addition! Thank you for making my party everything I hoped!

La Pâtisserie is a cozy bakery in Austin, Texas that specializes in traditional French pastries like croissants and macarons. The talented bakers create mouthwatering treats such as morning buns with layers of orange zest, a unique croissant and brioche hybrid called the cro-brio, and delectable chocolate croissants. Their signature macarons are not to be missed.
The pastries and sweet treats here are absolutely delicious!!!!! Freshly made each morning and served with a smile. The mixed berry eclair, cinnamon roll croissant, and blueberry muffin were all to die for, and let's not forget cranberry lemonade. OMG, can't wait to get back to Austin to visit.

Super cute spot for pastries. I found the croissant a bit tough. Took a long time to get our drinks. We’re almost finished eating by the time the drinks were made.
A G — Google review
A cute little bakery shop with some really good selection; it’s not just sweets. Fun vibe: a cute little treasure of south Austin. I thought that tiny cake, the Lavender Honey-vanilla petit four, would just feel like a mouth cleanser but it's actually fairly dense and PACKED with flavor! It tastes like eating the whole lavender plant, but not in any bad way. It has an incredible depth of flavor!
Toleratedcandy — Google review
Great local spit service up pastries and coffee selection. The almond cappuccinos were great. They also have my favorite triple chunk chocolate chip cookies.
Joe V — Google review
super cozy neighborhood spot - usually quiet and perfect for reading a book with a cup of coffee. the 🥐 are beautifully layered and airy and the macarons are very good too - my favorite is the strawberry. their staff member Chloe was super helpful and sweet when we visited today.

This French pastry shop is a great spot to enjoy some delicious desserts and Parisian pastries. It's a cozy place to catch up with a friend over coffee. We tried their coffee and eclairs and they were really tasty, with a yummy filling and topping. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're a dessert lover!
Katherine M — Google review
I work at Don's Automotive around the corner from La Patisserie and I come here quite often. Over the years, I have always been greeted like family and left with a delicious latte and a sweet or savory treat to get the day started. My all time favorites are the turkey & cheese croissants, the cro-brio donuts and of course the macarons[I'll bring a 6-pack back to the shop occasionally to help with morale]. La Patisserie is a South Austin gem!
Jimmy P — Google review
I think they better use the phrase "inspired by." These pastries are fresh and well-made. As for authentic, no. The beignet and almond croissant are close but not quite. The crobrios as original creations are delicious and balanced out by a cup of black coffee. The aesthetic is again inspired by a French cafe-small, artistic and looks like it's family-owned. I don't know if it is or not, but that's the vibe.

Bakery
Capital City Bakery, located in Austin's Holly neighborhood, is a female-owned bakery that specializes in all-vegan treats. Their menu includes a variety of delectable options such as cupcakes, brownies, custom cakes, and more. The founder's dedication to perfecting recipes has resulted in popular items like the Confetti Cupcake, which features soft vanilla cake with sprinkles and vegan buttercream frosting.
My fiance and I found this place randomly looking for a birthday cake... my fiance ended up surprising me for my birthday with the vegan cupcakes and it's been a tradition ever since we moved here! We love to offer the cupcakes to our friends and family for the first time and not let them know that they're vegan. These are the best desserts I've ever had. Vegan Poptarts... sounds too good to be true right? Nope, it's real life and they taste JUST like regular Poptarts. Come support this incredible local Austin business. Everything I've had here, has been amazing. Pay attention to their Instagram each week to see what special flavors they are offering that week!
Bianca D — Google review
I did not realize that this was a vegan bakery (we just were walking by) so my taste wouldn’t really count here but I personally was not a fan. When we walked in there were only a few cupcakes left since it was the end of the day/weekend. They did look good though. The biggest problem I had was how filthy the place looked. The decor was cute (of course) but the floors and tables were all DIRTY. The place was welcoming enough. We had to wipe down the table, but sitting there looking at the super dirty floor was not appetizing.
Anissa M — Google review
I'm visiting from Los Angeles and my son took me to this bakery. He hadn't been before but heard great things about it. I had the peanut butter brownie and blackberry mocha iced coffee. As rich as the brownie looks, it wasn't too sweet AT ALL and it was rather delicious. The drink was different but good. My son had the carrot cake muffin and he loved it. I would definitely return as they had some other really delicious eats that I want to try. I would also recommend this bakery to others.
Flo E — Google review
I can’t get enough of this bakery! Everything I have tried there has been amazing. The cupcakes are all delicious and designed with all the details considered (my favorites are any of the chocolate cupcakes, they’re all super moist and some of them even have fillings!). The kolaches are so good too. Honestly wouldn’t change a thing, love this place!
T B — Google review
Because I have anaphylaxis to dairy and eggs, it's hard to find baked goods that I can eat, especially without any fear at all of cross-contamination. But this place has been my go-to for almost a decade. They made my wedding cake, I stop by every time I'm in downtown Austin for some cupcakes, and I pre-order every Thanksgiving and Christmas for some specialty pies. You can't go wrong here!!! :)
Anna-Maria C — Google review
Vegans with a sweet tooth, here’s your place. From kolaches (local staple, out-of-towners), cupcakes, brownies, everything looks, smells and tastes delicious here. The Sweet Potato Cream cheese kolache is heavenly, and the Salted Carmel Brownie is so decadent, it needed three sittings to finish. The service is impeccable, the staff is funny and accommodating for questions, overall a positive atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here to satisfy your vegan sugar cravings.
Peter S — Google review
The strawberry 🍓 blonde was so delicious! The frosting was super sweet and creamy. The cake was very moist. Both frosting and cake balanced well with each other. The selection was rather small but it certainly was good!

When looking for a bakery that provided vegan cupcakes for our wedding, we sent a couple emails out to different companies. Capital City Bakery is the only one that would actually respond to us, and I'm so glad they did! We had a small vegan carrot cake and vegan funfetti cupcakes and they were delicious! We had compliments all night about them. I highly recommend their services not only because they tasted amazing, but also for their prompt and consistent communication always keeping their customers in the loop.

We ordered a mini wedding cake from Hayley Cakes and got exactly what we wanted delivered right to our venue. The cake was adorable AND delicious. I can't even express the gratitude I feel for this place! Lillian is a stellar employee. I traveled from Amarillo to Austin. It was the worst trip and everything that could go wrong. Then my phone completely died 4 hours outside of Austin, and I couldn't get it to charge. I was extremely lost, disheveled and having a panic attack. I have Autism and I was beside myself in tears. Lillian took almost 30 minutes in between her busy days to talk me through. She used her tablet to help find my hotel, which I couldn't even remember the name in my state, write down step by step instructions, and guided me safe there. All i knew was half the hotel name and half an address. I can't express the gratitude I felt for her and Haley's cookies. I came back today to grab a coffee and cupcake because of her, which were amazing. The ladies, Victoria and Sara, that were here today were just as equally wonderful, This place is an asset to keeping Austin weird but also wondeful!!! Ty!

I was worried about the cookie cakes being dry or communication being sparse based on some reviews, but Felicia at this location was very prompt to respond and our two cookie cakes turned out amazing AND delicious! All the kids at my son’s birthday party raved about how it was the best cookie cake they’ve ever had in their life (given these are little kids, they probably haven’t had too many cookie cakes in their life time, but when I tried it myself, I instantly believed them and agreed!). The cookie cakes were moist, chewy, and delicious and not overly sweet. I wasn’t expecting much because I mean how good can a cookie cake be, but it was up there with some of the best cookies I’ve had. And the design was spot on! Well done, Haley’s Cakes and Cookies!

I ordered myself a cake for my birthday. They were so easy to find when I typed in "Vintage Heart Cakes" on google. Even better, they had pictures and pricing on their website! The website allowed me to pick colors for my cake and there was a spot for me to type in more clarifying details I wanted for my cake. After that all I had to do was choose a pickup date/time and click "order" and pay! It was so easy! The week of my birthday I decided I wanted a different color for my cake, I emailed them about 5 or 6 days before pick up and they were so quick in getting back to me on my color choices and told me it wouldn't be a problem at all. I had my husband pick up the cake for me and they gave him a cookie while he waited! The vintage heart cake was everything I had wanted AND more because they added even more detail than I anticipated on the top of the cake. I was so pleased with the cake; it's the prettiest thing ever and I held it up in so many of my photos with friends at my party. Everybody loved it and we enjoyed it later that evening with a small group (about 10-12 people). I ordered a small vintage heart strawberry cake which came with a strawberry jam filling; it was delicious and moist! 10/10 cake on ease of ordering, easy pickup, beautiful decoration, and great taste! Would love to order from them again in the future. Thank you for making a 36th birthday girl so happy!

My husband and I tried 14 different wedding cakes before choosing our wedding cake, and Sweet Treets Bakery was hands-down the most delicious wedding cake! We chose the almond wedding cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the cake was. Additionally, Sweet Treets created the most beautiful 3-tier wedding cake we could have ever imagined! 10/10 recommend!!

Sweet Treets Bakery was so wonderful to work with for our wedding cake! I loved the convenience of the to-go tasting boxes. Every flavor we tried was delicious but carrot cake was the clear winner for us. I sent in a few inspiration photos for design and they nailed it! We really appreciated them coordinating a Monday pick-up for us, too. Thank you, Sweet Treets Bakery! 🧁 🩷✨

I want to thank Sweet Treats Bakery for my absolutely beautiful and colorful wedding cake! It was absolutely stunning, we were both so happy with how fun and unique it was. The vibe check was passed with this one! I provided a couple inspiration photos and color requests for direction and description, but WOW did Sweet Treats create something memorable!

I worked with Sweet Treats for my baby’s first birthday cake. I wanted a baseball theme, and they provided multiple options for me and executed better than I could have expected. Everyone there was so friendly and we had lots of compliments on the cake and cookies ☺️

I am so glad that I chose Sweet Treats to cater my wedding. Their team, especially Virginia Acker, provided amazing service. They made the whole wedding planning process interactive, quick, and easy. They have an amazing selection of desserts, all of which are delicious. They were able to accomodate for food allergies/sensitivites and our uncommon wedding schedule (I had a Monday wedding). We selected an assortment of cookies, pop-tarts, mousses, cheescakes, tartlets, in addition to our wedding cake. Everything tasted as good as it looked; our guests would not stop talking about how great it was. Definite highlight of our wedding night. My husband and I plan to stop by for our 1-year anniversary to get some of our favorite treats.

Thank you so much Sweet Treets for making the most incredible wedding cake I have ever seen and had! We ordered a custom 20” tres leches layered in strawberries and they did not disappoint! They went out of their way to build the cake onsite to ensure that it came out just right, and it was nothing short of perfection and delicious!! I could not recommend them enough! Everyone was absolutely raving about this tres leches!

We had an amazing experience with Sweet Treets for our wedding. The cake was incredibly delicious, with moist layers and impeccable flavors. I had to come back for these cinnamon rolls with no icing although I don't need them..This seems like a good bakery overall with great cakes, pies ,cookies, cupcakes and other pastries... Upper Crust also has great coffee ☕ with soups, salads and sandwiches

Just know: It’s all downhill from here. My coworker bought me a cinnamon roll and I took a look at it thinking “what is this basic thing before me with no icing? We shall call you ‘Karen’.” I thought it was gonna be one of those fluffy dinner rolls-like cinnamon rolls. BUT NO! I took a bite and was surprised that I bit into a deep fried churro-like, fried croissant-like, deep dish pan pizza-like, cronut-like devilish concoction that was slightly oily with every bite and covered in cinnamon sugar. What the hell?! WHAT THE HELL!?!?!!!! It’s all downhill from here. I have to try everything else, but that is a 5-star cinnamon roll.

The kind of bakery and café every neighborhood should have. I had the green salad— wonderfully fresh ingredients and a house made balsamic vinaigrette. along with a generous made just right tuna salad. I took a slice of coconut cream pie to go -perfection! Just the right amount of sweetness. You can also pre-order bread — they have sourdough which is a challenge to find here. Their prices are very reasonable and I also appreciate the friendly service!⭐️

I am a giant fan of Uppercrust bakery! My favorite is cinnamon roll and coffee combo! Hands down best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. Staff is almost always friendly and curtious. Make sure you get there early they do sell out of some items. You can't go wrong with any of the baked items or items on menu/board. Only down side is parking can be a little tight and not always table available, but more reason to take to go and enjoy at the park!

This was my first time ordering a cake at this bakery and it exceeded my expectations! I ordered a custom design Gateau Marisa cake and it came out so perfect. Everyone loved it! Decoration from the inspiration I gave them was spot on and it was so delicious. We will definitely be ordering from here again for other events!

Heard about the popular cinnamon roll at this place. Unfortunately they had ran out of those and I tried the last piece of Schnecken. The waiter warmed up the schnecken and I should say it was soft & delicious. Not much sugar but was perfect. You know when you buy such pastries in other places, they are usually very sweet but this place makes it perfect. Guess that is why it could be famous.

Tous Les Jours in Austin is a French-Asian bakery known for its wide selection of freshly made sweet and savory pastries, cakes, and breads. The bakery offers over 300 different baked goods daily, including their popular Heart Chocolate Cake with Belgian chocolate ganache. With a reputation for soft, fluffy bread and Korean-style pastries like sweet potato pastry and red bean bun, Tous Les Jours has become a favorite spot for pastry lovers.
I’ve never seen this store independently operating outside of H mart so I was curious to come visit there! Like as usual, this place is very nice bakery like you see at H mart! I love their sweet bread and some savory ones but we came late so only things they had were sweet ones. So we grabbed custard, red sugar beans and sweet chestnut 🌰 bread! I had a custard one on the way home and it was very good! Excited to try chestnut one and sugar bean one! Keep up the good work! Cheers 🥂

Everything is individually wrapped so you can quickly take it to go if you're in a hurry. We went on a random Tuesday for brunch and it was empty except for one other customer. Their cappuccino was mediocre, customer service was good and there were a lot of pastries to choose from, mostly sweet but a few savory options. The kids were obsessed with the cake display but my eyes were on the macaroons.

I loved the strawberry sweet, it was a nice long pink bread with strawberry cream you would put on bread slices. The strawberry smoothie I got was also quite good, even managed to get a brain freeze from it! My sister also got the sweet Garlic Bread Sticks and seems to enjoy them.

My favorite bakery shop in Austin. Nothing here is too sweet, it’s just perfect! I usually get Mango Cloud Cake, Milk bread because these two are my top favorite! Mango Cloud Cake is very fluffy, creamy and some fresh mango in the cake too, so so good! The packaging is so nice including plastic cake cutter, candle and some match, very thoughtful!

Bought a birthday cake here—their Classic Cloud Cake—and it was a hit! Light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, just the way we like it. The fresh fruit on top added a perfect touch, and the presentation was beautiful. Staff was friendly and pickup was smooth. Will definitely be coming back for future celebrations!

Swedish Hill is a well-established bakery and cafe with a warm atmosphere and outdoor seating. It offers an all-day menu featuring Swedish classics such as freshly baked croissants, bagels, breads, pastries, breakfast specials, soups, salads, and signature sandwiches on freshly baked breads. The Little Swedish Hill location in Clarksville also has a full coffee bar.
First time checking out Swedish Hill, and the flaky pastries were our favorites! I’m a sucker for anything cherry, and the tart cherry cream cheese danish, ham and cheese, kouign amann, and Nutella bun, almond croissant were amazing. We took a chance on the macarons (cranberry orange, gingerbread, and eggnog) but I’d probably skip them next time. As macarons go, they’re not as sweet as others, which I appreciate, but the texture was a bit too crisp, not as much chew as I’d expect from a macaron. The coffee is nice and strong and doesn’t feel watered down, I got the iced Swedish coffee (coconut cream and oat milk) and my mom got a hot almond milk latte with lavender. Both were delicious. Go for the flaky pastries and coffee! Sourdough looks yummy too!
Monique T — Google review
It's a beautiful bakery and coffee shop. The staff is delightful and fast-paced. I’d opt for their baked goods (the cinnamon roll might be the best in the city), but their breakfast tacos are shockingly good and light.

loveee this place! the staff always greets you with a warm smile. i got a nutella morning bun & it honestly is the best pastry ive ever had. the cinnamon sugar on the outside pairs perfectly with the buttery-flaky layers of the pastry & the nutella is not too sweet. ive had many good pastries in Austin but this is definitely one of my top favorites

Beautiful little pastry shop! The pastries are next level delicious. There’s a line but it moves fast and the staff is very kind. Great chicken and pasta salads for anyone looking for a quick lunch or snack. There’s a decent bit of outdoor seating but only a few seats inside. Plan to enjoy the patio or take to go.

Sandwich was $16.50. That mountain of lettuce on the bottom was an extra $0.50 - forgot my cheese as well. I would describe this as a “sad” sandwich. Also the online order is missing options you can order in store.
Robert W — Google review
As a devoted connoisseur of fine pastry and cuisine, I find myself increasingly disheartened by the lack of consistency at this establishment. On one occasion, I discovered a fly in my fruit salad—an unfortunate lapse in attention to detail. Moreover, the portions have become erratic, varying significantly in both size and weight; a more precise approach, such as the use of scales, would surely resolve this inconsistency. Twice, I’ve encountered whole cakes that were disappointingly dry, with frosting that crumbled rather than caressed the palate—a far cry from the delicate balance one would expect. The bagels, regrettably, are the most underwhelming I have ever tasted, leading me to abandon them after several attempts. Perhaps most disappointing, however, is the consistently indifferent service, particularly from the older employee of Slavic descent, whose lack of enthusiasm and apparent disinterest in guest satisfaction are palpable. On a more positive note, the pâte feuilletée creations retain their excellence, consistently embodying the finesse one hopes for in such delicate pastries.
Elli S — Google review
I really wanted to love this place, and was expecting more for the hype. I think it was probably the time of day and year that I went that was the issue. They were out of most of their selection, and the one pastry tart I did get was unpleasantly soggy at the bottom, and the other bun I got was dry and stale. The service was so efficient and friendly however and I loved how bright and clean and pretty the interior was. I would try again because I’ve heard such great things!
Britt — Google review
Amazing cafe and bakery! Very busy on a Sunday morning but the line moved quickly and there were multiple outdoor seating areas. The iced coffee and the cinnamon roll were the standouts but the bagel egg sandwich and avocado toast were also good. Will be back!

Located in the Driskill Hotel at the bustling corner of Sixth and Bravos streets, 1886 Cafe & Bakery pays tribute to its heritage by offering a Victorian tearoom-style setting reminiscent of a lunchroom founded by the Heritage Society in 1886. Since its opening on July 4, 2002, this cafe has become a popular gathering place for both locals and visitors. The menu features mouthwatering Texan comfort food and breakfast classics.
Went for breakfast and it’s some of the best baked goods and coffee I’ve ever had. Plain and simple. I got their waffle and bacon and it was awesome! My wife got the gluten free blueberry muffin and fruit and wow! The atmosphere of this spot, being in the Driskell, is a really cool vibe! 10/10
Russel W — Google review
Amazing atmosphere. Such a sense of History in the hotel. The cafe has great brunch. I had the ladybird egg white omelette. It was so good. I ordered a to-go one to take home to my son. You have to go in and order at the counter and then you can pick where you want to sit, whether it's in the cafe itself or out in the lounge area of the hotel or on the patio. It was great fun
Diane W — Google review
Pretty good breakfast options overall. They had a gluten free muffin which was nice. The Driskill breakfast was good but it seemed a little stingy on the scrambled eggs. We were told that some options were recently scaled down because of new ownership. For example, only whole milk (no skim or 2% for lattes). They also didn't have honey and didn't allow for regular coffee refills. Music was a bit loud in the cafe also but the decor was nice. Staff was very nice and friendly. If you're staying in the hotel it's a quick close option.
DBradshaw25 — Google review
The Driskill Café is stunning, with high ceilings, beautiful details, and a warm, historic vibe — definitely worth a visit for coffee or a pastry, which looked delicious in the display. Unfortunately, our breakfast didn’t live up to the setting. My partner had the turkey B.L.T.,which he didn’t enjoy and couldn’t finish — and that says a lot. My yogurt was alright but too sour because of the amount of lemon juice that was in it. If the food had been better, this would have been our go-to breakfast spot in Austin. As it was, we didn’t end up coming back during our stay.
Leonie T — Google review
Stopped by here for something sweet, but the guy at the counter seemed to be annoyed that we wanted to order something. I understand that you’re about to close and finishing up, but we literally went 30 mins before closing and not 5 mins. We’ve got the cookie with everything, I forgot the name. It was good but dry. And it was $7? Crazy
Lancey Q — Google review
Tucked inside the historic Driskill Hotel, the 1886 Café & Bakery is a cozy, elegant spot with vintage vibes and Southern charm. From the beautiful decor to the warm atmosphere, it’s like stepping back in time in the best way. We enjoyed delicious pastries and comforting breakfast, all made with care. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was relaxed yet refined. Whether you’re in for a hearty breakfast or just coffee and dessert, it’s the perfect place to pause and savor. ⭐️ A must-try in downtown Austin where history meets flavor.

We loved this place specially their cinnamon roll was delicious. I feel so disappointed they change all menu and bakery and took out the food stuff. I’m going to give this place a low rate because of that hope they change it back someday.

Great space! Big, picnic table style, great shareable food options, great coffee and drinks. They have trivia night at 7pm Monday and Wednesday. Tuesdays at 7pm, they have music bingo which is so much fun! They’re having an October fest celebration with events at their locations. Love this place.

We visited the place for a private event. The area has a wide space patio with umbrellas that make a park like experience. The food was served nicely decorated in platters. We just tried appetizers and the combination of them was good. The chicken on the sandwich was juicy and tasty, fried but soft. This time, the main attraction was the pretzels combined, with charcuterie. I would recommend adding some type of covers for the food while it’s out. It’s a nice place go a good weather afternoon.

First time at Easy Tiger caffe and we were impressed. Super cool space! It's perfect for families with kids or solo because there is so much outdoor seating. The avocado toast was the blast and waffle fries were delicious as well as the kielbasa and sausage. Chocolate brownie and chocolate chip cookie was perfect addition for dessert. Good drink menu. Really cool atmosphere and vibe and very friendly staff! Highly recommended!

Great place for Sunday brunch. We have usually come in the evening, but were surprised by the depth of the breakfast menu. The pastrami and egg sandwich with a latte to wash it down hit the spot. No trip to a beer garden is complete without a nice sausage. Highly recommend for any time you are craving a fun time out.
Garrett B — Google review
Fun spot with great breakfast/brunch items. The French toast bites are great, as are any of the egg croissant sandwiches (my favorite being the guacamole and bacon). Lots of comfortable space inside and outside, with space heaters for the patio in colder months. I love the soundtrack - lots of artists I haven't heard before (and many that even Shazam can't figure out). Several board games, billiards, ping-pong tables and corn hole throw for group activities. Fun spot for events!
Jordan P — Google review
Horrible service. I ordered an avocado toast. The toast was burned (charred black throughout), initially I thought it had a layer of black beans until I took one bite and tasted pure charcoal. So I patiently and calmly waited for the lady at the counter to finish what she was doing on the side, and requested a new toast. She was obviously not happy and when she brought me a new one she slung it on the table and when I thanked her just ignored me and left with a huff. I will never go back. The second toast was also obviously thrown together and not had some burnt spots. In addition, she asked me with obvious shortness if “do you want it toasted or just plain”, as if to tell me that I don’t understand what toasted means.
Joumana A — Google review
First time here. Outside seating was comfortable and spacious. It took a while for our server to make his way around and he was not that attentive to the table. The food took a while to arrive. The pretzel was ok. Nothing special. It would be better heated up. All the sides were cold. I was expecting at least warm to hot cheese with it. I got the burger and it was cooked well done when I asked for medium. It tasted ok but very messy.
Flash P — Google review
Ok so this place is the real deal. We can start off with the fact that this is a tremendous bakery. At street level this is what you see when you walk in. Down the stairs is a cozy dining area and bar. The architecture is unique to the original building and adds to the overall ambience. Service is excellent and they also have outdoor ping pong and many tables to sit at. The bar is great and has everything you could desire. The food, however, is amazing. The pastrami is crispy and juicy at the same time. It has a slightly smokey flavor in addition to the traditional pastrami flavor. The sweet island sauce is a great complement to the excellent home baked rye bread. The German Board comes with the bar cheese, kraut, homemade mustard, a brat, and a couple of pretzels. I also ordered the venison jalapeno sausage and it was out of this world. It brings the heat so make sure to have a pint of 🍺 to wash it down! This place was filled with locals, always a good sign. If you have issues with stairs (see pics) you might have a problem getting to the basement. It's only one flight but they are steep. Do not miss this place!

With five daily flavors and unique selections for each day of the week, this bakery offers an array of tempting treats. I wanted something special for my partner’s 40th birthday. She’s a baker herself and very particular. Two different people independently recommended Polka Dots. I placed the order along with some inspo images. Polka Dots absolutely nailed it. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted even better. Everyone was polite and accommodating. Definitely coming back for the kiddos bday in spring.

We cannot recommend Polkadots highly enough! Their cakes are absolutely stunning and, more importantly, taste incredible—moist, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweetness. I’m not usually a big cake person, but I would eat their cakes/cupcakes over and over—it was that good! Our family has trusted them for several weddings and events over the years, and they never disappoint. If you want a cake that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, look no further!

What a charming and awesome bakery. I know it's daily output is cupcakes...but WOW I saw a specialized cake, of the UT Tower, that was utterly a piece of eatable art. I bought 9 cupcakes of various flavors. I gave the owner how many I needed, the specific chosen flavors, and pick up date. She had them ready and boxed. I brought in little pics, with little paper taped to them, and she identified each flavor and I "poked it" with the flavor- and family person's name. I also visited with her and I am so impressed!! You BETCHA I will be back to Polkadots again....and again. Helpful hint: If you buy a cupcake to go...get it in a little box and a fork. I just took the cupcake in my hand and it was SOOOO moist it crumbled. My bad. She offered the box. haha. Parking in the back is easier to maneuver than in the front.

First time visiting and I picked up a dozen cupcakes for my son's birthday. Hands down, the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake was the favorite of the bunch. I'd happily eat only this cupcake for the rest of my life and be vastly contented.

This is one of my favorite bakeries to order cakes from in Austin. We got the strawberry cake and it was so moist and flavorful without being overly sweet. I wanted an ocean inspired cake and added the decorations separately. It turned out great!

I’ve ordered cakes from here three times now. All the cakes are absolutely DELICIOUS and so beautiful. It will always be my go to when needing a cake. I would like to mention the cashiers have never once checked me out with a smile or happy look on their face. Not bad service just very mundane. But that doesn’t stop me from buying their incredible cakes!

Such a wonderful spot! They have a wide range of pastries and drinks, always fresh and full of flavor. It does get crowded, but that just shows how much people love this place. Prices are very reasonable, and they even have some seating if you’d like to sit down and enjoy your treats. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Love 85C and this place was so nice and easy to navigate. The line was long but the wait wasn't for checking out. There's two? kiosks for ordering drinks too. I love trying all the different pastries available.

I come here every so often to get my fix of their wonderful bread! I always make sure to grab a few because I love sharing and letting my friends and coworkers know about this place. An absolute gem, be sure to get here early because some run out quick!!!

Great selection of pastries and coffee. I myself got the vanilla latte with mango cream brûlée. May I just say that it was delicious and satisfactory. Great atmosphere, awesome place to take a significant other, or just taking break from Austin’s fast paced culture. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Weekly Favorite That Never Misses 7/27/2025 My wife and I visit 85°C Bakery Cafe every week, and every single time, they deliver nothing but excellence. This morning’s visit was no different — warm, soft pastries and top-tier service that keeps us coming back. We picked up our usual: the Hokkaido Custard Bun, Hawaiian Chicken bread, Milk Pudding, two Mochi Egg Tarts, and our favorite drinks — the Café Latte and, of course, the Tiger Boba Latte. Let me just say: I’ve tried a lot of boba around Austin, and nothing comes close to 85°C’s Tiger Boba Latte. It’s rich, perfectly balanced, and always hits the spot. Easily the best boba in Austin. The staff here are always kind and welcoming, and it’s become a tradition for us to swing by after our walk around Lady Bird Lake. This place is more than a bakery — it’s a comforting part of our routine. The breads are always fresh, unbelievably soft, and full of flavor. We absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Whether you’re new to boba, a pastry lover, or just want a cozy place with consistently great food and drinks — 85°C is the place to be. Thank you for always making our mornings so Beautiful ! 🙌

When we got there, there were many delicious looking bread yet the line was crazy long so we just turned around but one day we’ll try some bread out there!

A go-to when I visit Austin! Love how everything I've tried has been absolutely yummy and not expensive at all. Bonus points for the staff being welcoming and sweet. Even though this place can get pretty busy, they always keep it well stocked! I recognize literature anything with the Hokkaido custard!

Julie Myrtille Bakery, located in East Austin, offers a delightful taste of France with its exquisite French pastries and delicacies. The bakery is owned and led by an award-winning French pastry chef who graduated from a prestigious culinary school in France. Visitors can indulge in a variety of superbly flavored breads, brioches, quiches, croissant sandwiches, salads, toasts, croissants, danishes, patisseries and cookies.
Got introduced to Julie’s fantastic fare at the Wolf Ranch Saturday Market in Georgetown. The prices are high but worth it! The peach and almond tart were absolutely delicious. The shell was perfectly cooked and the filling was too. I also bought the pain chocolat- it was okay. I suppose it would be better warmed. I will definitely go back and try the other offerings.
MarivicB — Google review
So disappointed. Searched for a place for an almond croissant this morning and found this bakery as an option…with high hopes given the pictures and such. The almond croissant was hard and dry, as if it were day old. I also got a cannele to try. It was cold, even though it was sitting out in the display with everything else. Definitely seemed like it had been refrigerated and still had some of the chill which definitely kept some of the flavor from coming through and, frankly, just made it seem like I had spent $14 for two pastries I could’ve gotten with better quality at H-E-B. I guess the good news is there will be fewer calories in my day today since half of each one is now in the garbage. 😭
Anthony N — Google review
Tried them out at the Farmers Market today $21 for two small chocolate croissants and a spinach feta pastry that was mushy. Had I not known they were from Julie Myrtille, my guess would have been La Madeline. Even then I feel I've had better at La Madeleine. Hard regrett.
Ed F — Google review
Literally the best chocolate croissant in Austin, and hands down my favorite bakery in Austin. Super bummed they closed their eastside location at Springdale general. Oh, and the macaroons 👌perfection. This is the closest thing to a European level bakery I have found in Austin.
Tiffany L — Google review
What a beautiful gem of a bakery nestled in the heart of the Arboretum! The pastries here are so fresh and authentic, absolutely delicious. They even had quiche and sandwiches to add to my sweet haul, which included chocolate croissants, macarons, chocolate mousse, scones, strawberry cream cheese croissant and a loaf of fresh sourdough bread. Coming back ASAP!💕
L R — Google review
Wow! I have so much to say about Julie Myrtille, especially over the last year that I've had the privilege of enjoying their brick and mortar location/services. In the before times, right when their brick and mortar location was opening, my friends and I had the privilege of renting their space to host a small tea party! Amazing! They were very accommodating with our needs and special requests. Everyone enjoyed their time there and felt well taken care of, so much so that we had a get together twice the size a few weeks later for Valentines! Everyone was impressed by the food and felt a piece of Paris right here in Austin with the quality and aesthetic! During quarantine, we ordered an at home tea service and in no way was the quality compromised! If you want to order for your office or to enjoy a small get-together at home, everything tastes freshly baked and freshly made! It’s an amazing choice! Recently, we ordered the tea service again and were able to enjoy gorgeous displays and delicious tastes right at their location! In short, catering service and food is top notch! From here though, I want to take a moment to talk about the menu options! First and foremost, I’m a little obsessed with their homemade jams. . . If you ever have the opportunity to purchase them, you will not be disappointed! Next, I’ve NEVER had a better quiche. They do not skimp on herbs, veggies, or flavor; the number of sweet, juicy tomatoes in the tomato quiche and the onions in the French onion one is just astounding! So much flavor comes in a nice, personal size, too! Croissants? Amazing! Baguette? Just right! If you ever have a chance to try their ciabatta or full loaves, you will not be disappointed! The scones that come with the tea are perfectly made and just a perfect balance of a sweet and savory feel! Finally, it needs to be said that Julie Myrtille is here for our community! They have been supporting at local farmers markets for years and whenever the community finds itself in need, Julie Myrtille is there to help! Free meals and discounts during COVID and the ice storms, Julie Myrtille was ready to help provide when the community was in need! I’m so happy to have this bakery in Austin; it has that unparalleled Parisian quality that reminds me of Laduree! Please visit and treat yourself to something special and unique!
Tiffany M — Google review
I found Julie Myrtille’s Bakery by chance coming from Austin’s International Airport. Each of these goodies in the box tastes soft, flaky, delicious and all the goodness of an authentic French pastry which I love about this bakery! I’m a croissant lover, and these satisfy my craving. I bought some goods for my friends and family so they can enjoy them too. For sure, I’ll be a regular customer here.
Cerina M — Google review
I first spotted Julie Myrtille at the Mueller Farmer’s market and instantly fell in love with their bakery items. Ever since I’ve tried a few of their items at both the market and their bakery. I really enjoy the arugula and prosciutto baguette, the chocolate chip cookies, macaroons, strawberry tart, eclair, croissants…literally anything you have will have amazing!!!!

Cakes ROCK!!!, led by Christy Seguin, a self-taught sugar artist with a lifelong love for cakes, is known for creating completely unique and delicious cakes. Starting as a hobby while working in other industries, Christy's impressive skills led her to turn her passion into a full-time business. The team believes in making specialty cakes that are both unique and tasty, using real butter, organic fruit, and all-natural ingredients at their Austin bakery.
Our daughter just graduated from UT and we had a graduation party for her. We wanted a sculpted Hook’em mascot on her cake and matching cupcakes in various flavors. Cakes Rock did an amazing job!!! Our family and friends were so impressed on the details of the cake and cupcakes. And the flavors were delicious! Thank you to all that worked on our cake. Our daughter was so happy!!! Also thank you for the Sunday delivery.

From email communication to our wedding day, this place never drops the ball. I never felt shamed for things I wasn’t aware of as a bride and they were so courteous when I asked questions. I wish I still lived in Austin so I could get more decadent cakes from them. We asked for a 4 tier cake with an unfinished edge style. I also had a budget. Not a problem for Cakes Rock! They immediately got to work keeping my budget in mind and getting as close to my vision as possible. In the end, their recommendation of having a 3 tier and a separate cutting tier worked perfectly. Each tier was a different flavor. My guests raved about the cake on our wedding day and they still do almost a year later. Get your cake here for an unforgettable experience and a creative celebration!

Cakes ROCK!!! lives up to its name. It is an amazing bakery and my wife and I could not be happier with the results of our beautiful wedding and groom's cakes. Christy and her crew absolutely exceeded our expectations for our cakes, she was even able to make a batch of gluten free nut free cupcakes for our guests. They worked with us every step of the way and helped us design our own personalized flavors and cake combinations as well as the design on our cakes, which we loved more than words can say. The crew did an amazing job and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a great bakery for a special occasion. The cakes tasted divine and looked incredible, we will definitely continue to hire this bakery for events going forward. We cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and hard work, looking forward to tasting many more creations from Cakes ROCK!!!

Christy and the Cakes Rock!!! team were truly a joy to work with for our small wedding this past March. The entire process was smooth and the level of detail to the artwork is MIND-BLOWING! Sometimes with desserts, there's a certain trade-off between showstopping design and taste, but let us tell you that no bite was left uneaten and the design work was phenomenal! The hardest part of working with Cakes ROCK? Having to decide which pairing of cake and filling to choose (trust us, all flavors are 10/10)!!! Photos courtesy of the great @barefoottim if you are also looking for a photographer :)

The cake looked amazing and tasted even better! We did a rainbow- layered, lemon flavored cake with blueberry buttercream. In addition, we have an assortment of mini-deserts which gave plenty of options for our guests. Overall, we were really impressed with the quality and flavors from Cakes Rock!

Cakes Rock did an AMAZING job at my wedding! We asked for a chandelier cake in navy/gold and a groom's cake of a dragon on a dice tower castle and to 'add any creative touches you want' within those parameters. I'm sure I must have mentioned at some point that I'm a cat person, because of how the dragon came out. I wouldn't have even thought of a dragon licking it's paws, but I loved it. I highly recommend cakes rock!

Christy and her team did such an amazing job! Our cake came out exactly how we envisioned it, not to mention and how incredibly delicious it was! We saved our top tier, and I just can’t hardly wait to eat it on our 1 year! And did I mention, I am not a big fan of cake but this cake was oh so delicious and just stunning. It was absolutely perfect! I would definitely order here again for any occasion.

If you are looking for a fantastic vendor for your wedding or are just in need of an amazing cake, look no further. Christy is amazing! Not only did she make two amazing cakes for our wedding but she was a joy to work with. Everything was easy from the cake tasting, payment, and the final delivery/set up. Both of our cakes were a hit with our guests too that there was barely any left. She has creative flavors that taste incredible and the designs have a wow factor. I highly recommend Cakes ROCK!!!

Rocheli Patisserie is a charming French bakery and coffee shop located in East Austin, known for its Instagram-worthy interior featuring a neon Bonjour Austin sign, faux flowers, and Parisian cafe-style tables and chairs. The bakery offers an array of classic French desserts such as specialty croissants, eclairs, macarons in various colors and flavors, seasonal cupcakes, and beautifully adorned tarts. It has been recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 for its unique offerings.
Great deserts with great service in a cutesy place. Idk what deserts prices are supposed to be but I was good with it. I like the little station for extra cutlery, coco powder, and other options. I parked right outside but I saw there was more parking outback so I wouldn't believe there is a bad parking situation.

I went to check this place out after seeing posts about it online. The Dubai coffee wasn’t my favorite as it was too sweet for me and tasted more like a dessert than coffee. The desserts, on the other hand, were great. I had the Flight to Paris and the croissant supreme. I would definitely order both again. The croissant supreme is like a crème brûlée croissant with a custard filling and a crunchy caramelized sugar coating. I’d honestly come back just for that. The shop itself is super cute. I love the pink heart-shaped straws they use. Service was quick and easy. My friend and I noticed they also offer afternoon tea, but you have to make a reservation in advance. It’s a great spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done and the location is also close to a lot of nice spots in the area. Street parking can be a little tough to find, but I’ve never had a problem.

Underwhelming for astronomical prices. Dry croissant dessert & the pear mousse had no flavor or pear ? Just cream. Cute idea & nice staff, but they would benefit from vamping up their unique offerings.

Religieuse was good and fresh. However the tiramisu was dry and not fresh, probably too old... kinda sad because I'm sure it would have been delicious otherwise.

I’m not the type to leave a review but no this is crazy a hair in my mousse cake I’m never eating here again. First n foremost I was supposed to pick up my order this past Thursday I couldn’t go bc I was feeling unwell I tried calling them no answer. so I went the next day ( Friday ) to pick up. Mind you they don’t write on your receipt or before hand of ordering that you need to pick up that same day. ( keep in mind I told the lady I tried calling them and they didn’t answer she says they were packed with customers… it’s going to be packed on a Thursday?!? I’d believe Friday but the place was empty Friday.) I go the next day and the lady says I need to reschedule bc they don’t want to sell me 5 day old products “ what do you mean 5 day old product only 1 day has passed for it to even be considered 5 days old . so we are getting charged 64 for products that are days old this is crazy mind you I asked her so yall are selling products that are 5 days old she says yes and proceeds to say I have to reschedule for Sunday i told her my order shouldn’t be 5 days old when I pick up Sunday I want my order fresh for the price I’m paying. I pick up today & a hair this is nasty never coming back waste of money overhyped.

Owner Regina Noble takes pride in crafting unique cakes, cookies, and cupcakes to help couples celebrate their wedding day. Customers have praised the bakery's flavorful and fluffy cakes that are not overly sweet. Regina's talent as a baker has been highly commended by those who have ordered custom cakes for birthdays and graduations.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our wedding cake tasting with Regina. She was so kind and welcoming, and it was such a memorable experience for us. She listened carefully to our requests and helped to create a beautiful three-tier wedding cake and worked privately with the bride for a surprise grooms cake. On our wedding day, she placed the florals to decorate our cake exactly as we had envisioned. It was timeless, flawless, and delicious! Each tier of cake had different flavors and was so tasty. The grooms cake was really well done and delicious also! We received many compliments from guests about the cakes. Regina is so friendly, reliable, and wonderful to work with! We highly recommend Noble Delights Bakery for any special occasions.

Ordered cookies for a 30th birthday. Requested pink and red cookies - no pink cookies were provided at all and the cookie designs that were provided were not aligned with the inspiration photos that were sent. Additionally more the half the cookies were completely burnt, dry, and had no flavor. The worst part was the “Happy Birthday” cookies had the “shutterstock” watermark under the design - that alone shows so care/thought into the work that they would just leave it like that. We were beyond disappointed. When we contacted Noble Delights, they didn’t even apologize and offered just a refund for the 3 “shutterstock” cookies and basically said the rest are fine. We’ve ordered from them for several bridal showers and baby showers- but we will never be ordering from them again due to the poor customer service and decrease in quality of their product.

Absolutely amazing, Regina is so incredibly talented!! We tried her cupcakes on our first visit and they were so yummy! We will be back for sure! Update: We returned the following week to order a birthday cake from Regina! One of the best cakes I've ever had!!! Uh-mazing! I gave artistic freedom to her but requested the vanilla cake with hazelnut filling. Whew, so incredibly tasty, and texturally perfect!! We will be using Regina for all our cakes from now on!

We were overjoyed with how the desserts turned out for our wedding! Regina is an amazing baker to work with because of her professionalism, attention to detail, and confidence in her desserts. The cake tasting got us hooked and we knew right away she would do a great job on our desserts. Our wedding cake turned out PERFECT, I couldn't have asked for a better design! The groom's cake of the TARDIS was exceptional and our guest loved the quirkiness of it. The variety of mini dessert were perfect for the variety of food restrictions our guest had at our wedding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Noble Delights Bakery. We'll definitely be coming back for future events!

Chez Zee American Bistro is a beloved family-friendly restaurant that has gained recognition as one of America's best brunch spots. The bistro offers a wide range of American dishes with southern regional influences, all made with locally sourced ingredients. However, what sets Chez Zee apart is its delectable desserts and weekend brunch offerings. The restaurant is particularly renowned for its divine lemon rosemary cake and butterscotch pudding, among other unique dessert creations prepared fresh daily on site.
My (now wife) and I love this place. We first went years ago and loved the food and character of the space. We came back and it was still so great that we ended up also having our wedding rehearsal dinner here. This place holds a special place in our hearts and I hope after reading this, you will come by and try it! They regularly also have a live performer during dinner service.

As a serious foodie I am not into frou frou food. However, Chez Zee is a Lenten pilgrim's sustaining fast. I had the broiled Salmon on mushrooms and spinach. The broth was so good that I ordered bread to clean my plate. Salmon was tender and I did not use my knife. I found three tiny bones that never entered my mouth because the salmon opened as soon as the fork touched it. Fast service with a delightful smiling Texas air. Parking is tight because fellow Texans enjoy great cuisine too. Must do Sunday Brunch because the pancakes will be dreamy. For dessert I brought home the LAST ST. PADDY'S GUINNESS CUPCAKE! The boyo was moist and I didn't need coffee. Chez Zee exemplifies the art of mighty fine cooking. Sunday is around the corner!

Fantastic experience! We got the smoked pork chop with sweet potato mash and garlic green beans along with the seafood pasta special. Probably one of the best pork chops I've ever had and was cooked perfectly. The cucumber jalapeño margaritas were also very good. Finished it off with the chocolate decadence cake fir desert...so good. Highly recommend 👌
Christopher L — Google review
Rainbow trout was like butter and the mashed potatoes were prefect with texture and flavor. Both flat iron steak and fries were slightly underdone. The fries flavor was still great. Tried 5 different desserts The sampler, the chocolate decadence, and the ginger bread pudding. All amazing! Couldn’t taste the raspberry in the chocolate cake. The ginger bread pudding was more a ginger cake with a thin glaze than a bread pudding. Still so good on both accounts. Hummus was good Music was amazing!!!

I would classify this as a fine dining place. The French toast and eggs were really good everything else was just meh. My drink was not worth the price. I’m really indifferent about this place, it’s definitely for the older crowd.

Omg, what a cute dainty spot! This was my first time trying this spot and I heard it can get quite busy, so I ordered online a pick up. I wanted to try the apple pie but it wasn’t available, so I was pretty disappointed so I only ordered 3 pies. I must say the pies were good but the star is the crust not the fillings. Overall I would recommend it. The coconut pie filling was light and not thick at all which was a huge disappointment; I like my coconut filling thick and dense and this was not it. The banana pie was SPOT on! It was perfect in texture and density! Not too sweet which is key! The last pie I tried was the two step…I’m not going to lie, it tasted like pecan pie topped with shoofly pie! I was shocked when I tasted it. 😊 *You can order online and schedule ahead *Discount when signing up for their newsletter *Clean area and plenty of parking

I searched high and low all over Austin for pies for my wedding. I must have tried every pie in Austin, but Tiny Pies blew them all out of the water. The flavors are delicious and unique and their size and presentation are adorable. On top of that, Amanda and her whole team were incredibly helpful through the process. They answered dozens of emails, directed me towards what I was looking for, offered to rent me display tables when I said I couldn't find one I liked, and delivered the pies on time and in good condition. Not to mention, I only initially queried Tiny Pies a few weeks before the wedding! I would 10/10 recommend them for anyone who wants a tasty dessert day-to-day and especially to someone who wants this fun and unique dessert at their next event.

I ordered a few pies to celebrate an occasion and they were delivered via DoorDash. The pies were cute and delicious and arrived very quickly. I’m more impressed with the fruit pies than the ones filled with pastry cream. My surprise favorite was the Coconut Cream pie and Cherry pie; my least favorite was the Mint Chocolate

Tiny Pies is a really fun dessert spot! As their name suggests they serve... tiny pies (and full sized sweet pies)! But I was surprised to see that they sold savory pies such as chicken and veggie pot pies as well but we were just getting dessert. They were unfortunately out of their vegan pies but I decided to try their strawberry basil pie anyways and it was excellent! My wife and father in law tried the Texas Two Step and the Coconut Cream pies and they enjoyed them as well.

We wanted something a bit different than the traditional cake for our wedding dessert and came across Tiny Pies. They looked adorable and tasted fantastic. Although there were a few miscommunications during the planning phase, Amanda helped resolve everything. In the end, we had some wonderful dessert that our guests enjoyed very much. We would definitely recommend them for catering!

Cafe
Crema Bakery & Cafe is a cozy spot in Southwest Austin that offers an array of delectable baked goods and savory dishes. The owners, Jessica Tomberlin and Janessa, are known for their generosity, having given away thousands of dollars worth of groceries during a winter storm. The bakery features an assortment of treats such as cake balls, mini pies, pistachio croissants, and colorful cakes available by the slice. They also offer custom desserts tailored to your preferences.
Crema did the desserts for our wedding. They were profesional, yet personable. They were detailed and considerate. They were communicative and flexible. We never felt they were trying to get money out of us. They quoted us options and made recommendations, but let us choose what was best for us. We did two in-person meetings, each with tastings at their bakery shop. Each time we felt welcomed and it’s become a treat (pun intended) to visit them even after the wedding was said and done. We did a “non-traditional” wedding dessert table filled with macarons and cake balls. They took care of the setup and delivery, ensuring a beautiful display which can seen in the photos. Jessica topped it off with a small complimentary cake to cut. Regarding prices, their price was just right. Not too expensive or too cheap. And they adjusted the numbers to fit our budget. I highly recommend them for your next event, or just to stop by their shop for some delicious coffee/breakfast. Photos by our photographer, Britt Crowe.

I want to be able to support local but the quality of your food is unacceptable. I've had better sandwhiches at a 7/11. The manager claimed that their sandwhiches are made fresh daily but there is no way lettuce wilts this badly after one day. They made it right by refunding me but that's the only reason they get 2 stars. They offered to make a replacement meal which was nice but I simply don't trust their food after this experience. Coffee was good and I'm sure the fresh goods in the bakery are probably decent just don't come here for sandwhiches.

I've been meaning to stop here and I'm so so so glad I did. I love bakeries and it's not everyday I can choose between multiple gluten free offerings. The available macaroons were banana with chocolate creme, rose with rose creme, and vanilla with orange creme. I bought all three and couldn't eat them fast enough. The rose macaroon was possibly the best I've had in my entire life but the flavors and flavor combos of each was out of this world. Perfect consistency, perfect ration of macaroon and filling. Crisp, but soft in all the right places. (I think I might go grab a few for breakfast). The chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting was delicious but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't just had three huge amazing macaroons immediately prior. My capuccino was exactly what I needed to finally feel awake mid-afternoon. Customer service was excellent, decor and the space in general was inviting and cute/comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items.

Crema made a fabulous 40th birthday cake for me! It tasted just as I’d hoped it would and was beautifully decorated. (We added the “forty” sign and candles, of course.) They were so kind, thoughtful, and fun in my brief interactions of ordering on the phone and picking up. I can’t wait for the next occasion so I can order from them again.

100% in LOVE with this place!!!!!!! Best pancakes ever!!!!!!! I just discovered this Gem!! We got omlets and avocado toast and the quiche WOW!! Get a side of lime cilantro hollandaise!!

I visited for my first time today and was SUPER excited to find a sparkly gluten free & vegan cupcake! I'm Celiac, vegan (w/severe dairy allergy), and dealthy allergic to chocolate, so I almost never find sweets I can eat unless I make them myself. The cupcake was beautifully presented, sparkly, colorful, and the icing had that just right balance of sweetness in a strawberry flavor. It was even pretty inside, and the cake itself was moist and delicious. So often gf products are dry, so I was pleasantly surprised! I also ordered an oatmilk latte w/cinnamon & vanilla and it was delicious. This totally made my day and I'll definitely be back again! 💜

Bakery items are all to die for! Brunch was great but I wouldn't recommend the tacos they were decent at best. If you're coming here I recommend the more bakery side of food. Order over the phone and picked up my order was wrong instead of correcting the order they decided to just add a few extra tacos to make up for the mistake. Also, ordered a pie for Thanksgiving it really was worth the price and no hassle.

I like the place in the dining experience. It's right place to go for lunch during the work day. The chicken salad was good and had a Zing of Louisiana in it. He was starred with chips and pickles she was perfect. Since it was my birthday I bought myself fantastic strawberry filled cupcake worthy for pictures.

OMG Squee is a dedicated gluten-free shop that offers a variety of delectable treats such as mooncakes, lemon butter mochi donuts, macarons, taiyaki sundaes, and jiggly cheesecake. The shop gained recognition after being featured on the Austin season of Queer Eye. Their signature mochi donuts are particularly popular and highly recommended.
Super impressed by this spot! The matcha ube drink was incredible—I’m still thinking about it. The gluten-free donuts were chewy, not too sweet, and totally delicious. Loved the variety of unique drinks and the non-dairy options. Definitely coming back!
Somekindofalien X — Google review
I came here for the doughnuts, because I had heard so many good things, and I LOVE mochi doughnuts. I’ve never in my life had a mochi doughnut like this. Instead of that addictive chewy-yet-light texture with a bit of crunch around the edges, these were gummy and dense-not so much chewy as just thick and doughy. The flavors were unimpressive and barely noticeable. Parking was difficult to get and seating was limited and not very nice—all outside with nothing to help keep cool.
Madeline C — Google review
I ordered the Hongkong Milk Tea to see whether it's similar with the HK Milk Tea I used to drink back in Malaysia and it is! so its an authentic experience 💕. My husband also liked the Caffe Ube, he finished it so fast. The Sesame Strawberry mochi also is really good and def something unique, will go back for it. Everything is not too sweet. It's usually hard to impress me, especially for Asian foods/drinks in the U.S., but this is my new fav dessert place in town! Oh, I also like their artsy Asian culture inspired souvenirs! Also, I'm so curious with the owner, a quick Google, and I found out she's on Netflix show Queer Eye Season 6! Such a wholesome episode, and she looks so precious and humble 🥹
Charista K — Google review
Ice cream / donut shop on the east side. Ice cream was more dense than normal soft-serve delivering a luscious texture . The taste was indistinguishable between flavors (cereal milk and ube). Donut was vegan and to be fair it tasted like a vegan donut. I wouldn’t call this shop amazing. Glad I tried but was not impressed.

This place is super cute and offers a variety of mochi donuts and coffee! There is outdoor seating, and some parking but it does get busy rather quickly. I cannot wait to be back and try more menus items! Great customer service and very friendly environment!

Super delish soft serve ice cream! I loved the sesame best and my husband loved the ube/taro best. With the fillings both the red bean and custard were really good. You really can’t go wrong!

Always hands down the best donuts. The tea we got wasn’t anything spectacular but it was very very sweet and also Service is fast, not always super friendly but not rude just transactional which is surprising considering how vibrant and cheery the space is in general but a favorite stop we always get a sweet treat from while in Austin Such a great space and love the merch too

Cannot tell you how delicious the cookies are . Been years in Austin and they are the best I found by far. My kids ask me to drive from round rock to get them ! On top the lady is really welcoming and nice . Such a hidden gem. 💎

I’ve been coming here for a while - I tell everyone they are the best cookies in ATX. I just came to buy 10 cookies for my co-workers because I want them to try them! I cannot believe how my experience just went. Whoever the lady that helped me today was, she needs to be spoke to by her managers about customer service. She was extremely rude, rolled her eyes at me several times. I honestly couldn’t believe it - I was saying please and thank you… she was frustrated that I asked for a bag and she very sarcastically said “anything else?” Because she thought I was needy (only asked for 2 separate boxes because I’m giving cookies to 2 different groups. I said no, and to be honest you haven’t been very friendly and she had the audacity to reply and say “neither are you”. I was in shock. This is unacceptable customer service… puts a very sour taste in my mouth about coming here. I hope her managers speak to her. She is working right now which is Aug 26 2025 at 11:30 AM.

Located next to convenience store with a small parking spot that has only 4 spots shared with other business, this grab and go place has some really delicious bread and cookies. Their cookies are a little more on denser bigger side, kind of like Levain style cookies except with more filling in the middle if you get a stuffed Ollie and not quite the crispy bottom that Levain bakery cookies achieve. I got their classic chocolate chip cookie, which was good and for being such a big cookie filled with chocolate chips I am glad it wasn’t overly sweet though you can definitely split one cookie with two people. I also got the Banana Nutella cookie which reminds me if banana bread decided it wanted to make a little sandwich with Nutella in the middle and then shaped in cookie form. It’s more of a doughy cookie than chewy or crispy cookie. We also got the chocolate peanut butter cookie and you better love peanut butter because the peanut butter is strong, but delicious. We also got the wheat sourdough loaf and the crust on it is incredible and I loved that they do the fancy markings on top to like one the bread/steam to escape (I should know what it’s called but I never got into my sourdough era). Even for being made with wheat four and having blend of seeds, I did not find it too overwhelming and found it delicious to make a grilled cheese and loved that even though it’s healthy it didn’t taste overly grainy or overly “healthy” if that makes sense. It had a really great crust and interior and some nice little bubbles. I also got the avocado, egg, and cheese burridough which I thought it was ok - I wish there was more filling, I found that the bread to filling ratio was more bread than filling, and wish the filling had more salt/flavor. I am glad it came with mild salsa to dip it in to give it that extra kick/salt it needed. Probably my least favorite out of everything I tried. Parking lot wise they have a very small lot shared with other businesses. Don’t park at the convienient store next door. There is also street parking. There is no eating inside, but they do have a small bench outside (unshaded) if you want to enjoy the treats right then and there.

Super cute bakery and coffee shop! I recommend the kolaches, I got a ham and cheese one and it was really delicious with crispy cheese on the outside and everything! One warning to people who go here, nothing against this bakery, but be careful where you park because there is a boot and towing person on site who will target you the minute you leave your car if you are not careful. I had to pay $100 in cash after leaving my car unattended for 3 minutes

I would highly recommend coming here for breakfast or a snack I had the Banana Nutella cookie Cheese and avocado Sandwiches And they did not Disappoint If you're looking for good quality Past This is a place to go I would say Although Go in early I did not have a Big selection When I got there but what they had left was delicious.
Alejandro R — Google review
Great little bakery. We got coffee and cookies - tried the chocolate chip, the PBJ, and the banana nutella. The coffee was great as were the cookies. The cookies in order of how we liked them: banana, PBJ, and chocolate. The chocolate chip was a bit more doughy than the others so there might have been a baking issue with those but the flavor was spot on

If you’re anywhere near Thoroughbread, do yourself a favor and GO. This adorable little breakfast spot near our Airbnb had us hooked from the first bite. The drip coffee? Perfectly smooth. But the real star of the show? The “dough-rito”…a dreamy, doughy, gooey, egg-filled burrito that’s basically breakfast perfection wrapped up and ready to make your day. We got there just after they opened, and it was already buzzing with happy customers (always a good sign!). The staff? Absolutely lovely-super friendly and welcoming. We’re already planning a second visit before the trip’s over. Thoroughbread is a must-try!

La Mexicana Bakery is a family-owned bakery in South Austin that has been serving Mexican pastries, cakes, and traditional breakfast and lunch dishes since 1989. While it no longer operates as a 24-hour establishment, it remains a popular spot for churros, tres leches cake, wedding cookies, and authentic Mexican loaves of bread. The bakery offers a variety of traditional baked goods including Pastel de Tres Leches with options like mocha, strawberry, or chocolate flavors.
Open 24 hours most nights always a great place to stop in the middle of night and you can never go wrong with the barbacoa. all the staff is always very friendly and welcoming prices are fairly cheap the baked goods are amazing throughout the entire day. it's not easy to find real Mexican tacos in Austin but this is definitely the place to come if you're hungry for a real breakfast taco.

Wow! Stopped past as traveling from Australia and I saw the dodgy tacos neon sign which caught my attention. This place did not disappoint! I was skeptical with the insurance and tax office in the corner but this is no frills authentic food. The tastiest tacos I’ve ever had and the portions and pricing is great. Stop past for a solid feed.

Been coming here for years and always great! Love the sugar skulls at Halloween time 💜 today's selection was barbacoa and carne guisada tacos both with queso fresco and avocado, a slice of mocha tres leches, and horchata to drink. I'm grabbing some pastries to go as well to enjoy with the family. I can recommend pretty much everything in the case. And the menu items are great at a good price.

Can we just take a look at the deliciousness of my photos? This Mexican Bakery is THE BEST in Austin. The selection is so big, and the breads are fresh. I live way North and drive to this place for my fix. When I show up with a box of La Mexicana Bakery, the family is very grateful. The restaurant portion is also tasty. Very authentic Mexican tacos and plates. Either way you go, you won't be disappointed.

The best place for pan mexicano and homemade tacos. Love this place and we try to come by when we are in town. Edit 2-15-22 They will be closing the business tomorrow and there was not the usual types of pan Mexicano available. We went around 7pm so possibly they just ran out. Had to stop by 1 last time to say goodbye and have the best pan dulce in the city. Happy retirement Senor. Thank you for over 30 years of happiness.

OH MY GOODNESS, YES 🙌🏻 Everything I got here was amazing. I forgot to get pics of the Swiss rolls, cream coffins and moon pie but those were all delicious too (I literally haven’t had a cream coffin in like 15 years and it didn’t disappoint🤩). I adore the baked goods I get here. Always vegan, clean ingredients and unique flavors. They do a horoscope monthly cupcake. The Pisces cupcake was my all time favorite with a matcha and lavender light whipped icing with a berry jam filling. Today I bought the pride cupcake and the cancer, both are incredible. The rosemary chocolate chip is my go to always.

Teal House Coffee & Bakery is a family-owned bakery truck that has gained a cult following for its delectable Cinnamon Rolls. The bakery, located at Dukes Adventure Golf in Southeast Austin, offers an array of classic pastries and pies along with espresso drinks. Their commitment to using high-quality ingredients shines through in their buttery treats, including a sought-after gluten-free version of the popular Cinnamon Roll.
Oh My! The Crème Brûlée Cinnamon Roll was incredible! Warm, perfect amount of icing, thin crispy top layer…yum! Sad it’s not an exertion but glad I was able to try it. Other regular cinnamon roll and breakfast tacos were good too. We both enjoyed our first visit and look forward to going again. A few other notes… friendly and helpful staff, had to wipe our own table before sitting down, parking is difficult as it faces towards exciting out the “back “ but construction was blocking the exit so had to back out onto Congress. Still going back though!

We stopped in to see what all the fuss was about. The energy was pleasantly frantic but not crazy at all. The staff was friendly but seemed to be really focused on what they were doing so much that it seemed to be a distraction from customers. This place is very clean and has plenty of choices. We came in to test the cinnamon rolls and kolaches. They were different that what we expected. The breads were different texture that what we normally got. You could tell each item was fresh but the cinnamon roll icing was different. So the taste overall to us was a three but you. An tell a lot of effort goes into the product they put out. The issue is probably our traditional taste. I recommend visiting to see for yourself.

I stopped by this morning because a friend recommended this spot and potentially they were having an off day. It felt like everyone was frantic behind the kitchen. I LOVE Teal House!! I get coffee here on average about 2-3x per week because I know they’ll always make my latte perfectly, and the staff are always friendly and create a lovely atmosphere. I also am obsessed with their sourdough bread, which I take home, but they also use it for many of their sandwiches! I’m telling you, if you haven’t tried their food yet—DO IT! Their BLT is one of the best I’ve ever had, and their breakfast sandwich on a croissant is next level. I also love the Avo Toast, and they have breakfast tacos now too which is clutch when you’re on the go, as I often am. Comadre Panadería is a top-notch bakery in Austin, known for its consistently delicious Mexican sweet bread. The weekly menu changes, but the quality remains exceptional. Visitors recommend trying a variety of items, especially the conchas. Ordering online is easy and convenient for pickup. While the bakery is small with no seating, the friendly service and delectable pan dulce make it worth a visit.
Excellent bakery. I was skeptical about the hype but this may be the best conchas I've had. Very flavorful and has excellent texture. All of the other pastries were equally great. I would come back and order all of them again. We also had the Texas pecan horchata with espresso and it had tons of flavor and the added espresso tempered the sweetness nicely. The actual inside is tiny so if you have a group I would suggest just sending one person into order and taking it to-go although there are tables outside. The staff was also friendly and you can peak into the bakery. Everyone seemed happy and you could feel the positive energy like they wanted to be there. I live about 15 minutes away and would gladly come pick up some pastries and bring them home. Really good to pick up for out of town guests. Highly recommended. The price seems high but paying a living wage and high quality ingredients is fair. Honestly, it's one of those places that are so good I would pay even more for this level of quality. Looking forward to coming back.

This is definitely a gem of a bakery in Austin Texas. They have Mexican inspired, baked goods and drinks. I stopped by recently for their recent weekend special for tacos and Mexican donuts, and it did not disappoint. We ordered one of everything and enjoyed the variety of donuts and tacos. I do recommend going early on weekends. They have a small parking lot but they also have lots of neighborhood street parking that is free. Their bakery is small so frequently there are lines out the door. They also have a patio in the back with sunshades where you can enjoy your goodies. This is the kind of spot I would take out of town visitors for a unique bakery experience.

Comadre Panadería is simply the best pan dulce I have ever had. When I first tried Mariela’s pan five years ago, her work was already a 12 out of 10 amazing but over the years she and her crew have continued to innovate and experiment to the point where the quality of their pan is breathtaking. I am so grateful to be in community with these folks. Thanks for feeding us 🩷

The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! Preface - I don’t like breads or pastries, even when made fresh because it’s just not my thing. The focaccia was soft and moist, I like the seasoning and egg on top, I just wish there was more flavor throughout the bread. The pastry and empanada seemed good, those were my boyfriends picks :) I really loved the pink cake! So perfectly sweet and balanced by the more savory masa based cake. It was a great item to share because it’s a very rich desert. My boyfriend really likes the guava drink. The owners husband was very kind and friendly while we were eating in the patio :D

I love that they use natural food coloring. Beautiful pink cake presentation. It tastes like really delicious, moist corn cake or cornbread. Can't wait to try the conchas - they were sold out when I arrived. Prices are high, they definitely are paying their employees a fair wage. Service was great. Place is small, only outdoor seating.

This place is a gem. I was born in Mexico and grew up in primarily Hispanic communities in the US but never had pan dulce like this. The bread is wonderfully soft and the sugar coating is not overly sweet. The breakfast tacos are flavorful and made with their own flour tortillas. The cacao has a strong chocolate flavor with a delicate sweetness. My wife who grew up for a much longer time in Mexico was pleasantly surprised. She said everything is completely authentic and brought memories of the food she had as a child. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I’m not a connoisseur on all things tres leches, but I thought it was great. We also left with some delicious cookies (nice and large for sharing) , savory empanadas, flaky croissant and other baked goodies, and some amazing biscuits! This was my first time going and we liked it so much we ordered a German chocolate cake for my birthday at their South 1st location that was phenomenal. Ample parking around the rear/side or simply walk up during your venture.

Best bakery experience! I called a couple places asking for quotes and was immediately impressed when Amy called and took me through this long list of questions. She wanted to be sure everything was understood and I appreciate that. When I picked up the cake, there was a little discrepancy between the nakedness of the photo and cake, but she was able to coordinate with staff to get it perfected within a few hours that worked for me, and the cake went over amazing at the party. What I really loved was how attentive everyone was, from placing the order, to paying for then picking up the cake. It was a great experience and one I'd be happy to go back to again!

I absolutely love this bakery! I have been trying different bakeries around town while visiting Austin, and this is by far my favorite. The blackberry cruffin and peach handheld pie were amazing! I will definitely come back before I go back to Florida.

All I've had so far is ham and cheese crossiant and sour cream cake. AMAZING. Definitely a place to try at least once but you'll keep coming back. Half priced last 30 minutes of what they have it left. It's so good for lunch specials as well. Had pulled pork sliders with jalapeno and pineapple slaw. So good!

Sugar Shaker Bakery is a beloved family-owned bakery in Cedar Park known for creating not only delicious but visually stunning cakes. Their Dreamy Unicorn Fantasy Cake is a standout favorite, featuring enchanting layers that delight customers. The bakery offers an array of unique flavors such as carrot, lemon, and tres leches cakes with various fillings, frostings, and toppings for a personalized cake experience.
They’ve done it again! Another perfect cake from my favorite bakery in Austin. I met these gals at the bridal extravaganza pre-Covid and was blown away by their cupcake flavor combinations. We hired them for our wedding but due to Covid, we had to cancel our big wedding and just elope. Fast forward to 2 kids later and I have used them for every birthday for my daughter. Their character cakes never disappoint! This one was Gabby’s dollhouse and they matched the colors to my daughter’s actual dollhouse!! Her face was priceless seeing her surprise cake. Thanks again ladies!

Ordered a custom cake for a gender reveal party, and I am blown away with how fast and easy it was. When I picked up the cake the bakery was so cute and had cupcakes and cookies for sale that all looked delicious. The lady that checked me out was very kind and helpful. My cake was stunning! I got the almond flavor cake with almond frosting and the cake was so soft. It was delicious!

We used Sugar Shaker for a wedding cake for our recent vow renewal and we could not have been happier with our experience. I shared some inspiration photos with the bakery and they made my vision a reality and far exceeded my expectations for our cake. Ordering and payment was so easy to do online, the pricing was so reasonable, and the delivery process was so smooth and easy which was a huge help on our big day. We ordered a white chocolate raspberry cake and it was so delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved the cake. With some professional cakes the outer layer of fondant can almost be inedible, hard, sticky, and just gross. With our cake from Sugar Shaker the outer fondant layer was soft, flavorful, and truly delicious. The cake was moist and the perfect texture and not overly sweet. Perfection! Numerous people told us they don’t even like eating cake but they loved this one. I am so thankful we found this bakery and plan on using them for all our cakes in the future! Thank you Sugar Shaker for making this experience so easy, pleasant, and stress free!

Sugar Shaker delivered the most GORGEOUS wedding cake. The size, the flavor, and the execution were perfect. Would highly recommend for all wedding cake needs! Please ignore one missing cherry on cake in photo, it was too good to not take a bite!

Amazing! I asked a few days in advance for custom cookies for my son's production of Annie. I had no idea that it was very late to ask. But Sugar Shaker went above and beyond my expectations. I pulled a few images from the internet and told them to do their best and it was amazing. I will definitely use them agiain!

Sugar Shaker made my daughter’s college graduation cake and it came out beautifully!! They were able to accommodate my late order and had it ready in 3 days. It was even better than the inspo photo I sent them. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a special occasion cake. Thank you Sugar Shakers Bakery! ♥️

Sugar Shaker Bakery exceeded all of our expectations as the vendor for our wedding cake! From the moment we first tasted their delicious creations, we knew we were in for something truly special, and they delivered in every way possible. Our wedding cake was an absolute masterpiece, thanks to the incredible talent at Sugar Shaker Bakery. Not only was the design stunning, but the flavor was out of this world. We opted for the champagne rose cake with lemon filling and lavender buttermilk frosting, and it was an absolute delight for the senses. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the combination of ingredients was pure perfection. Not only did we love our cake, but our guests couldn't stop raving about it either! It was clear that the cake was a hit with everyone! It's rare to find a wedding cake that not only looks beautiful but also tastes absolutely divine, and Sugar Shaker Bakery delivered on both fronts flawlessly. If you're looking for a wedding cake that will wow both you and your guests, Sugar Shaker Bakery is the way to go. Their impeccable craftsmanship, delicious flavors, and exceptional service make them the perfect choice for any couple looking to add a touch of sweetness to their celebration.

I had a custom baby shower cake ordered from the sugar shaker bakery team. The process was seamless and the team was very responsive. The turnaround time was quick as well less than a week. The team did an amazing job with the cake design in ensuring it perfectly matched the inspiration reference I put in. More importantly the cake was delicious as well. Would highly recommend Sugar Shaker Bakery if you are looking for custom cake designs.

Our cake for our wedding turned out amazing!! Kayla took our vision and executed it to the highest degree - the look and the taste exceeded our expectations. We had a two flavor cake (Chocolate + Fudge, Almond + Raspberry) that was frosted as one massive cake - it was super fun but looked elegant. Could not recommend Kayla more!

This review is a little late as my wedding was in September, but I have to commend Kayla on her amazing job. I had issues with a previous bakery causing me to contact her kind of last minute. She was so kind and squeezed me in. Her prices were also very reasonable compared to other bakeries. I sent her a photo of a cake for inspo and she delivered. She arrived on time and even placed a spacer I wanted to add a little more flare. I went simple with the flavor as I'm a simple girl. My husband and I weren't able to try the cake until the wedding so we had a few candid "taste test" photos for our first bite. We were pleasantly surprised with the texture and flavor. The almond was amazing! Thanks so much Kayla!

We were on the hunt for a small heart-shaped cake and 5 dozen cupcakes adorned with sugar daisies for our wedding (I included my inspo photos below). I quickly learned that cake tasting in real life is nothing like what you see in Father of the Bride (haha!). Most places charge a hefty price for a "sample box". Kayla’s sample box was much more affordable compared to others. We decided on a bananas foster flavor with cream cheese filling, and it did not disappoint! In fact, I was shocked by how much everyone at our wedding loved the cake. My cousin, who typically hates bananas, was obsessed with this flavor. It was a big hit, and that's something I will forever appreciate! As for the design, Kayla did communicate upfront that she could only do one sugar daisy on each cupcake, which we agreed to. I also saw a disclaimer on her website noting that cakes may not resemble the inspiration photos exactly, so I was prepared for that. However, I was still a bit disappointed with the final look of the cake. After envisioning something for so long, it was tough when it didn’t align with what I had imagined. The sugar daisies didn’t quite look like daisies to me, and the font on the cake appeared more cobalt blue than the baby blue I had in mind. Overall, while the design wasn’t exactly what I pictured, the flavor was absolutely amazing, and that’s what people remember most! I’d definitely recommend Kayla Knight Cakes for the deliciousness and great service, though be prepared that the cake may not look exactly as you envision.

Incredible wedding cake experience with Kayla Knight Cakes! We got married at The Vineyard at Florence in November 2023. From the start, we enjoyed the cake tasting and consultation. VERY large samples with plenty of delicious options! Our hearts were set on red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, and it was perfection! We wanted a very simple and classy pipe design around the cake with a few delicate floral pieces. The personal touches we added was our cake topper from Etsy and a very special small figurine replica of our dog Lilly, also from Etsy. Kayla was amazing with communication, and clearly helped us execute our exact vision for our cake, timeless and classic. Not only was it a beautiful cake, but it was delightfully delicious one. We have tried bland or not up to par red velvets before, but Kayla's homemade recipe was amazing. You can have either the icing or cake base on it's own and they are delicious. We cannot wait to dive into our top tier 1-year anniversary cake! Safely packaged in our freezer and stored properly. Thank you Kayla, we highly recommend you! This was an unforgettable and very important part of our wedding! - Sarah & Braydon Vaughan

I normally don’t write reviews, But in this situation I felt I needed to write this review. My Daughters wedding day is today, she meet with Kayla months ago went over everything with her and gave her a picture of the cake she wanted. First cake in the picture. Well when my son in law picked up the cake in second picture, you can image our surprise. Cake looks like something a child made in an easy bake oven. Cake doesn’t look like the cake my daughter wanted and paid for. When I called to talk with Kayla she told me it was an inspiration photo, that the cake she made for my daughter looks like the photo. I ask Kayla if she could make another cake by 3pm , Kayla told me that she didn’t have time because she had 4 other cakes to be baked. ( if as a business owner and you know you messed up on someone’s wedding cake and an important day, you do what is right) As my daughter is in tears and upset, not knowing what to do because we can’t serve this cake. It’s horrible and just ugly and people are laughing at this cake. When I told Kayla that we have to buy another cake because of the cake she made . She laughed and said why the cake is fine. I ask for her to refund the money back to my daughter, she said she doesn’t refund money. My daughter got the cake she ordered why get another cake . As you can see in the second picture the cake looks nothing like the cake my daughter wanted. As a mother when you see your daughter crying and very upset on a day that should be the happiest, you say things and well just yell. To make a long story short Kayla made my daughters wedding day a complete disaster refuses to refund her money for a cake we will not be putting on the table, that will go in the trash. Thanks for ruining my daughter day! Thanks for making her cry on her wedding day. Very bad business and a horrible baker!

We actually got married one year ago today and Kayla Knight Cakes made our wedding cake! She was so communicative and very easy to work with! She listened to exactly what we wanted. The flavors of the cake are amazing! We chose lemon cake with cream cheese filling and almond cake with peach filling. The cake was a huge hit on our wedding day, every single person that ate cake loved it! It was beautifully decorated. We saved our top tier for our one year anniversary, we just ate it and it still tastes amazing! I highly recommend Kayla Knight Cakes to anyone needing a cake.

Kayla Knight made choosing our wedding cake vendor such an easy process. We live out of town and she was very flexible in scheduling days/times that worked for us. After our taste test we knew right away we made the right choice. We chose pink champagne with an amaretto filling as the wedding cake and chocolate with a Kahlua mousse. Without a doubt some of the best flavors we have ever had! On the big day our cakes were delivered promptly and staged beautifully. We received many compliments on the aesthetic and taste of both cakes. While both cakes were not executed design wise exactly how we had hoped they still turned out to be a highlight of our guests night.
Brooke T — Google review
We have loved working with Kayla for our wedding on 10/9/21. We scheduled her during the height of covid and loved the virtual tasting option that she provided. We were able to still ask all of our questions and try many varieties. We ended up booking her that day! We had a spice cake with cream cheese icing and it still maintains our favorite cake position. Since we have gotten married we have ordered this cake from her four more times for special occasions and have been able to try some others as well. There were so many compliments on the cake. We were also impressed with Kayla being able to fit us into an already busy day for her and still having time to add some finishing floral touches when she arrived. Kayla is incredibly professional and responsive. She was also very understanding for what we wanted and provided a smaller two tier cake and a sheet cake to help us out on cost. We couldn’t thank her any more. We love Kayla and her cakes!

The business has received high praise from clients and wedding planners for its prompt responses, accommodating nature, and ability to work within budget. Customers have raved about the flawless appearance and delicious taste of the cakes provided by Cakes by Vivi.
Vivi made a small, single tiered wedding cake and several dozen cupcakes for our wedding last November. We wanted a modern, simple cake design and she executed our vision perfectly! We chose almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream for the wedding cake - so tasty! Vivi was very responsive during our engagement and helped set up a tasting for us. We also coordinated cake pickup the morning of the wedding and had no issues. Great cake and great service!

Vivi made the tastiest, most adorable, over-the-top coconut cream cake for our wedding. It was as pretty as it was delicious. Despite the fact that I only contacted her about six weeks before the wedding, Vivi made herself available for our day. She was timely, professional, and exceptionally clear throughout the whole process. People keep telling me how much they loved the cake. It was one of the highlights of the night!

Ordered Cakes by Vivi for the first time for my daughter’s 13th birthday. She wanted a comic cake for her bday. Vivi made a fun and beautiful cake for her with Oreo cake and Oreo filling. All the kids and parents loved it. My daughter was very happy with her cake. It was one of the best tasting cakes I’ve ever ordered. Will definitely be ordering again.

Vivi is the best ! The cake she made tasted and looked great. The cheesecake bites were superb. Everyone in the party raved about it. This was a fantasy jungle themed two tier almond-strawberry cake (taking inspiration from Sukumar Ray's fantasy creatures). What creativity ! She also delivered at home in time. I highly recommend her. Her cake will make your party 10x better 🙂

Feathers & Frosting is an independent bakery in Austin known for its organic, locally made artisan cakes with a variety of unique flavors. The owner, Danae, has been creating impressive custom wedding cakes and even a gender reveal cake with earl grey and lavender filling. The Fringe cake is highly recommended, featuring cookie dough flavor topped with cookies and brownies. Visitors rave about the fun and cheerful decor of the bakery, excellent service from the owner, and delicious cupcakes.
Incredible! As a GF/DF (allergies) bride, it was important for me to find a bakery that could accommodate my allergies and make delicious desserts. I also live in NYC but was hosting my wedding in Austin. Our planner recommended F&F to us and we set up a tasting a few months before our wedding while we were in town. I think we tasted like 6 different GF/DF mini cakes- it was so good I still dream about it! We couldn't choose between all the amazing flavors so we decided to go with a really small wedding cake and a ton of mini desserts which were all a hit! We completely over ordered because we knew the guests would love dessert but there was NOTHING left at the end of the night. Ashley at F&F also made the cake design process so so easy and sent me specific instructions on what to order because we used a dog topper (from etsy) to include our pup in the design. Will be visiting all the time when we are in Austin! If you have allergies and want something truly delicious, look no further (we tried 3 other companies!).

Phenomenal cake. They made me an Earl grey and lavender flavored cake to look exactly as I wanted, with the fondant topper I wanted on it, for my baby’s half birthday (very extra, I know) and it was gorgeous. The flavors and icing were amazing. I won’t get a cake anywhere else for as long as I live in Austin, that’s for sure!

Honestly the absolute best homemade strawberry pop tart I have had to date! Really cute shop, super reasonable prices. We also had the German Chocolate cake and it was exceptional. Definitely the most moist, dense chocolate cake I’ve tried in a long time. The portion was perfect to split for a sweet treat. We had the dirty iced horchata and found it super refreshing on a hot summer day. The owner here was really friendly and just behind the counter working on the next set of cakes. Loved the decor and her vibe. This place is out of the way, but a great weekend stop regardless. We went hiking nearby at the wildlife refuge and made this a stop on the way home. Great Saturday morning date. Will definitely be finding excuses to return!

Okay, so I didn't even care about wedding cakes until I saw the cakes that Feathers & Frosting makes! I went from wanting none to having three! Denaë's cakes are true art - we wanted our cakes to resemble textiles and go with the bohemian colorful vibe of our wedding and they were perfect. On top of that Denaë is a gem of a human and I will continue to support her and her small business forever!

Our first trip to Feathers & Frosting far exceeded any expectations we might have had! Not only was the bakery decorated extremely fun and cheerfully, but the excellent service from the owner, and insanely delicious cupcakes and drinks made it a new favorite place that we can't wait to come back to! We purchased a bunch of cupcakes for my 22 year old son's birthday. He is a totally foodie and gets excited about trying new and interesting things. These cupcakes were an absolute RAVE at his celebration! This business is what it looks like when someone is following their dreams and passions. It's inspiring and no doubt brings great joy to everyone that discovers them!

Oh. My. Stars. This little coffee & cake shop is a hidden treasure. We just happened to spot the sign along the road a couple days ago and today we decided to stop and check it out. We grabbed a “flight” of 5 different types of cake plus an extra for grandma. We got Carrot, Apple Spice, S’Mores, Strawberry Crunch, Salted Carmel Whiskey & Mocha. We all agreed they were out of this world. I may go back tomorrow to try their coffee and see what other flavors they have to try. De-licious!!!

Feathers & Frosting did an amazing job bringing our vision for our wedding cake and dessert table to life. They were truly the perfect choice for our October 15, 2022 wedding. They have DELICIOUS flavors that are so unique. We went with a 6" lemon blueberry cake for our wedding cake, and then we had a dessert table for guests with mini poptarts, cookies, and cupcakes. One of my bridesmaids told me that the strawberry poptart was the best dessert she's ever had at any wedding. We heard nothing but compliments and our wedding cake was delicious as well! So happy with everything - thank you, Ashley & team!
Danielle R — Google review
Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and SO delicious. We had churro and italian cream cake flavors and everyone LOVED IT. I put 4 starts because the planning process for the cake and speaking with the baker was not the most organized experience. Other than that, I would highly recommend this bakery!
Anna A — Google review
I always love a pretty cake, but rarely eat much of it. I don’t even recall having more than a bite of my own wedding cake. THIS CAKE(lemon blueberry) was not only a work of art, but tasted phenomenal, and I find myself looking for reasons to order more cakes just to eat them by myself. This was the second year ordering my birthday cake from F&F and will continue to order all of my cakes through them. I don’t even live in Jonestown yet, but I can’t wait because they have so much more than just cakes.

Round Rock Donuts is a legendary, western-themed donut shop that has been serving a variety of baked goods since 1926. Located about 30 minutes north of Austin, this famous establishment is known for its delicious glazed donuts. The shop offers a Texas-sized version of its infamous donut, weighing in at 2 pounds, as well as smaller orange-colored glazed donuts that are equally delightful.
We've gotten to visit Round Rock Donuts a couple of times now, and every time has been a great experience! They have a drive-thru and a walk-up outdoor counter, and I highly suggest doing the walk-up if youre able to! We've done both, and the walk-up always seems to be faster service overall. The drive-thru can get pretty long and even go down the street past the building. The Texas-sized donut is so fun to get and just as delicious as you would hope! The cinnamon rolls are also tasty, and the kolaches are basic but good. Everything is generous sized portions and we had lots of leftovers for the next day!
Taylor P — Google review
Hands down, THE BEST customer service in Round rock. I waited for 30 minutes in a line at the drive thru and spent $30 on my order. When I got home and checked the order, there were a few items missing. I called to let them know, and they went above and beyond to get me my missing items and also threw in a few more donuts! We’ve been going to RR donuts for 30 years and they never disappoint. Delicious food and amazing business practices! Great job RR donuts!

It is so hard to decide what we wanted! But the giant Texas sized donut was so good and literally a ginormous donut! The the strawberry filled donut and eclair is ny favorite! I will definitely go again. Quick service, friendly staff!
M K — Google review
I grabbed half a dozen of their world-famous glazed donuts on a Friday afternoon after working out of the Round Rock Public Library, and it was the perfect treat to close out the week. These donuts really are worth the reputation—huge, fluffy, with that golden-yellow color that makes them look as good as they taste. The glaze is just the right amount, letting the warm, pillowy donut shine without being too sweet. They were still fresh when I got them in the afternoon, and I ended up eating one in the car before even leaving the parking lot (no regrets). The staff was friendly, the line was quick, and the vibe feels like classic Texas—nothing fancy, just done right. It’s easy to see why people say you can’t come to Round Rock without stopping here. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, these donuts make your day better. Can’t wait to try the Texas-sized one next time!
Ankil S — Google review
Very unique-tasting and -looking donuts! The dough has a rich yellow color (something to do with how many egg yolks they use). I’d recommend eating two max in one sitting — they’re seriously good but highly addicting and super sweet. Pro Tip: I’ve gone twice — early Saturday morning and again on Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, it was much less busy later in the day. No need to wake up early for this one! Also if it’s hot there is no shaded place to sit near the store. Head across the street to gazebo. 10/10 Donuts 🍩
T P — Google review
Just ordered their Original Glazed, Strawberry and Berry Filled Donuts and Coffee. It’s to die for and worth the trip. Line is not long, careful because there are cars coming in. Saw this on Man vs Food and I wanted to try it for myself! Will give it another go before leaving. Update: 1500, I ordered some before going back and to be honest, I FREAKING LOVE TEXAS! not the heat though!!
Todd J — Google review
Round Rock Donuts lives up to the hype! The donuts are absolutely delicious—fresh, soft, and full of flavor. With such high demand, expect a line, but it moves quickly thanks to their drive-thru window. I loved the wide variety they offer, from classics to specialty options that all taste amazing. The highlight has to be their famous Texas-size donut, which is roughly equal to 12 regular donuts—perfect for sharing or making a big impression.
Nabeel ( — Google review
Came here around 10am on a Friday and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Not really sure how this place gets so many 5 star reviews. I was in town for a work trip and was told this donut place is better than any in Dallas. It is not. I don’t know how to explain these donuts. They’re not fluffy, they’re a little heavier and flatter. Each one is glazed and then frosted. Parking is terrible. If you go, just order at the window, the drive thru line wraps around the street. They sell singles ($1.19) or a dozen ($12). No half dozen. You order at the window, give them your name, pay, and someone will come out with your order when ready.

Delicious Experience at Cypress Grill! I had the Orleans Shrimp Salad at Cypress Grill and it was absolutely fantastic. The shrimp were juicy and perfectly blackened, packed with bold Cajun flavor without being overpowering. The salad itself was fresh, crisp, and generously portioned — every ingredient felt thoughtfully selected and well-balanced. You can taste the love and attention that went into this dish. It was light yet satisfying, and easily one of the best shrimp salads I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

You get some amazing food here at Cypress Grill. I enjoyed every bite of everything, and the service was amazing, too. It was a bit of a wait when we went, but we sat at the patio, although a little hot and humid just because we didn't want to wait. There were fans outside, so it wasn't too bad. Can't wait to come back again.

New Orleans is best known for its Mardi Gras festivities: glitzy parades, Bourbon Street bars, and smooth jazz throughout the French Quarter. The Big Easy is also known for its delectable Cajun food, a cusine uniquely American, and made popular by chefs like Paul Prudhomme, Justin Wilson, and Emeril Lagasse. If you're jonesing for a cup of gumbo or a plate of jambalaya, you can drive over to the Crescent City in seven and a half hours, or hop on a plane that will cut that trip to under two hours. Either solution seems expensive and time-consuming. Don't fret, Cypress Grill has you covered. When I visited the restaurant last week, we (my wife and I) tried a lot of food to really get a taste of their version of NOLA bayou cooking. Appetizers: We tried tried the Crawfish Eggrolls ($10.99) and the Boudin Balls ($8.99). I preferred the eggrolls that were stuffed with cheddar jack cheese and jalapeños in addition to fresh crawfish tail meat. While the cheese and jalapeños dominated the first burst of flavor, the crawfish muscle their way through at the finish. Look inside the rolls, Cypress does not skimp on the meat. My wife preferred the more subtle flavor of the Bouldin Balls, saying the pork sausage and bread crumb mix blended harmoniously and was best when dipped in the house remoulade sauce. For the main course, my wife was polite and went for one of the house specialties, Atchafalya Catfish ($18.99). I can't pronounce it, so here's what's in it. You take a piece of catfish, bread it, and fry it. Throw it on a bed of dirty rice and completely smother it in Crawfish Etouffée. For those not familiar with what is an etouffée, it's where you poach your protein in a sauce using a boatload of spices, and of course Louisiana's "holy trinity" of peppers, onions and celery to create a roux. Then you hydrate it. I know that's oversimplifying it. This is not a cooking class. FYI: Etouffée roughly translates to "smother," so when I said earlier they "completely smother it in Crawfish Etouffée," the first smother is a bit redundant. English teachers, am I wrong? Oh, the fish is...delicious! Fatty Matty the Cajun Piggy, that's me, couldn't make up his mind. So I ordered a Quarter Muffuletta ($11.99), Jambalaya ($10.99) and two sides the Red Beans & Rice and the Cheese Grits You get 1-2 sides with entrées, otherwise they are $1.99-$2.99 each. The Red Beans and Rice were killer. I wish my friend David Butler would have been here with me to give them his blessing. He's from New Orleans and makes that dish from scratch. The jambalaya was also really good. There was no skimping on the andouille sausage or the chicken. I kicked it up a notch by having them add a special Cajun spice on top to increase the heat. My waitress further hooked me up and brought me a bottle of Yellow Bird Habanero Hot Sauce. BOOM! Mouth explosion. Yeah, it was...fire! The cheese grits were very smooth and perfectly salted. Before I dove into my muffuletta, I asked the waitress if I had tried any other sides. She said yes and brought me a small sample of the mustard greens. I'm so glad she did. There was no bitter aftertaste, and clearly, someone in the kitchen knows how to properly use pork in the recipe. DON'T, forget to order these when you come. My food coma was starting to set in at this point, probably helped on by the Abita beers. My wife and I each tried a small piece of the muffuletta and saved the rest to take home. Cypress Grill duplicated Central Grocery's masterpiece, masterfully (again, English teachers, can I say that)? Long review, so look up both the Central Grocery to see the history of the muffuletta and what's actually in it. Fantastic service, good ambiance, and amazing food. The place was packed and on a wait most of the time we were there. Clearly, people love them and their tasty Cajun treats. Oooowe!

We had a really poor experience with the waiter assigned to our table. He wasn’t friendly and seemed like he didn’t want to wait on us. He dropped off our waters and came to tell us his shift ended, introducing us to a new waitress. He remained in the restaurant serving another table and being friendly with them. When we left he was still there working. It was clear he didn’t want to wait on us. This made it to where we all felt uncomfortable being there. The only difference between that table and ours was our skin color. They were white and we are Hispanic. The waitress was nicer but seemed bothered with us at the end when we asked for separate checks and mentioned a price error on something we ordered. She came back upset placing our cards down without making eye contact and said have a nice day, bye. We walked past several employees on the way out and one acknowledged us leaving. Just an awful experience.

Mandola's Italian Kitchen, located in The Triangle, offers a charming blend of a casual Italian restaurant and a local grocery store. The cozy ambiance is complemented by a marketplace selling imported goods alongside classic Italian-American dishes like fettuccine alfredo and eggplant parm. It's known for its family-friendly environment with an extensive kids menu and friendly service. Visitors can also enjoy the dog-friendly porch area while indulging in delectable desserts such as gelato or lemon cheesecake.
First time visiting. We were a little thrown off having to stand and view a menu then order prior to being seated. The service was friendly and very prompt. We were given focaccia bread and seasoned oil right after sitting down. Then our appetizer came out at the same time as our meal which made the experience feel very rushed. From ordering to sitting, it probably only took like 10 minutes for our order to arrive. You can tell they don't want you lingering. I fell in love with the dipping oil for the bread. The seasoning mix was heavenly and bread was very soft with a nice crust. I wasn't expecting much from the food bc it came out so fast but it really surprised me. The fettuccine Alfredo was perfectly done. Very simple traditional style with the best fettuccine pasta I've had. The chicken parmesan was excellent. The breading was light and crisp and the chicken breast was cooked nicely. The marinara sauce was fresh and flavorful. I really appreciate simple ingredients done well and they do a great job of that. The calamari zucchini fritte was a great appetizer. The breading was well seasoned, the zucchini was sliced thin. I loved that the calamari included rings and tentacles. They were small and perfectly bite sized which made them great for dipping in that delicious marinara sauce. I recommend not sitting under the AC vents. The condensation was dripping on us throughout the meal and I didn't really like the idea of it getting into our food. The atmosphere feels charming and rustic. I really love how simple and straight forward everything was. We made sure to pick up some sweet treats to take home. We would definitely go back when we're in the area again. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu and trying the gelato.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟑 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. We ordered three things: cheese ravioli, fiorentina chicken pizza, and the lunette modo mio. To start, the ravioli wasn’t too flavorful or flashy and lacked a sharpness to it that makes ravioli so appealing. My least favorite item. The pizza was ok, the sauce was the highlight and the breading was good as well. Not amazing, just good. Lastly, we enjoyed the Lunette and our pasta was warm as though it had been prepared earlier for someone else instead of hot and fresh for our party. Overall, the environment was excellent and the service was nice. Our servers were knowledgeable and friendly and the outside seating area was lively and fun to eat at. Definitely worth taking a group of friends – it’s a good place to spend time after a meal.

Mandala’s is a local Austin chain of Italian restaurants. I think this one might be the original, but I’m not sure. Mandala has a combination of pastas, salads, pizzas, and appetizers, as well as a full dessert, bar with gelato and cakes. There’s also a bar, but I don’t see too many people there very often, I just think people come to demand was to eat primarily. This one has a really nice outdoor seating area, even in the winter when it’s cold they have gas heaters that make it tolerable. The times that it’s not so tolerable are in the middle of summer and there’s nothing they can do to really cool it down but when the weather is decent, it’s a great option. Their pizzas are OK, the pot is excellent, as are the salads. They have a daily special, and it’s always the same. In other words, every Friday is shrimp scampi. The desserts and gelato are also excellent. They have a serve bread and olive oil, which is really good, and you can ask for more if you want more.

My favorite dish is their fettuccine with grilled chicken and prosciutto with peas and mushrooms. It has a homemade taste. I tried their kids pepperoni pizza this time and I enjoyed it. I also like to combine their lemonade and sweet tea as my go to drink.

MARLENI I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for the outstanding hospitality you provided during our first visit. I am ecstatic. This restaurant was exceptional. Although we encountered a brief wait during the busy lunch period, the food was consistently fresh and delicious. I will certainly make it a point to visit this establishment again when I return to Austin.

Previously my wife came in for a meatball sub and we had desert here and both were delicious. However this time we came in for chicken marsala, mozzarella sticks, and chopped salad and it was very mediocre. The ingredients seemed cheap, the food was lackluster in presentation and taste, and it came out entirely too fast to have been prepared well. It's clear this restaurant does somethings well and others less so. The price was also a bit high for the quality of the food, but the portions were excellent

Typical Italian restaurant, but with a different detail from what we see around here, it looks like a grocery store, and the place is fabulous, I loved the gnocchi and the fried mozzarella was the best I've ever had, I went back more often.

For the first time I ordered some food for my daughter who was in the hospital, she loved the spaghetti and meatballs Dish. I ended up ordering her favorite dish but one thing I don’t understand is why is so difficult do dress the spaghetti in marinara sauce very well? My daughter’s food was very minimal dressed in sauce, This made me feel bad, choosing this place to order dinner for my daughter and not receiving what I expected. The good intentions on my order was that whoever packed the food they throw in my order with the message “love and cookies’ Also the added some bread and Parmesan cheese and some oil for the bread. I wish I could make another order in the future and just added a note to the chef asking for my spaghetti to be very wet on the sauce. Also the meatballs were amazing and very good size, one was enough for my daughter and the rest was for me lol. Please excuse my poor grammar:)

Walton's Fancy & Staple is a charming establishment located on W 6th St in Austin, offering a unique combination of bakery, deli, and flower shop. Housed in a historic building on Sixth Street, this beloved spot serves freshly baked bread, delectable sandwiches, and delightful sweets. The menu features farm-fresh eggs and scratch biscuits for breakfast, gourmet sandwiches with daily roasted all-natural meat for lunch, and daily-rotating Blue Plate Specials for early supper.
Fun, casual cafe with extensive food and drink menu complimented by an excellent bakery. The golden egg and black chocolate hearts were wonderful, soft and flavorful inside but crisped just right on the outside. They have two rooms of several tables and are conveniently located along the west Sixth Street strip. They have happy hour Thursday through Saturday 3p-5p with discounted food and drinks. They serve great pizza Thursday through Saturday 3p-7p. We loved the sausage and ricotta. There is paid street parking on surrounding streets.

Me and my family loved coming to this place everyday when we were on vacation! The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and very helpful! The General Manager Lauren is fantastic too! The food and coffee is delicious here especially the Challah French Toast! They make a really good mocha coffee here too. Their regular coffee/latte is delicious too! I would highly recommend stopping if you are in Austin!!!!!!!!

Nice healthier spot for breakfast or a nice lunch. They make decaf coffee if you need decaf. The macaroons were delicious. The granola in the bowl in the picture felt very fresh. I didn’t feel like it came out of a bag in the sprinkle. The overall restaurant was similar, best way to describe it is that it doesn’t feel like it comes out of containers and then it is put together. Easy walking to on Congress affordable. Seating is typical for 2 to 6 people

Walton’s Fancy and Staple is a bakery/cafe with a decent variety of options to choose from as well as a quaint and welcoming interior. We went on a warm afternoon when it wasn’t too busy and looking for a quick sweet treat. Since it’s directly on 6th be mindful of parking since that may be an issue, just as a heads up. There’s a good assortment of pastries to choose from and we settled on a chocolate birthday cake macaroon and one of their chocolate hearts. The workers seem very happy and friendly but they did take a while to work through the line and also get our stuff ready to go. Once we got our things we ended up taking it to go but ate it within a few minutes of stepping out. The chocolate birthday cake macaroon was good, but not stellar. It does a good job as tasting as it would be advertised, but it wasn’t anything we felt you couldn’t get at another bakery. Similarly, the chocolate heart was good, but not as good as you would expect for something coming out of a place dedicated to baking. That might seem a bit harsh, but let us clarify that their baked goods are much better than store bought, just not as good as we had hoped them to be. We will definitely be back if in the area to give them another shot, hopefully for brunch so we can try out some more of their other options as well.

Stopped in to check out the bakery and wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly and quick service! Parking is a little challenging but it’s worth the effort. They had a good variety of items. Fig Brie Pecan tart, Strawberry Chocolate Croissant and Mixed Berry cake yummy!! Love how beautiful the cake was decorated too!

What a fantastic place! We’ve had brunch and lunch here several times, and every visit has been a great experience. The atmosphere is charming—warm, rustic, and inviting, with that classic Austin vibe. The service is always top-notch: friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy hours. The food is consistently delicious. Whether it’s the breakfast sandwiches, pastries, or one of their fresh salads or hot lunch options, everything is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The bakery case is always tempting too—don’t skip the desserts! Walton’s has become one of our go-to spots in the city, and we’re always happy to recommend it to friends and family visiting the area. It’s a great blend of quality food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere right in the heart of Austin.

I was excited to order the Caesar wrap since I’ve heard it’s the best in town, and spent about $30 for it including delivery fees + tip. The chicken is so chewy and dry… I had to chew each bite 100 times and after a few bites I gave up and threw it away. They need to make fresh chicken, not use old stuff… especially when they charge $18+tax for 1 wrap.

Central Market is a gourmet grocery chain that offers an extensive selection of fresh and prepared foods, local and specialty products, as well as an impressive array of wines and cheeses. The market hosts various food events and live music in its spacious venue. Currently, it is celebrating Citrus Fest, showcasing over 55 varieties of citrus fruits incorporated into a wide range of products such as tortillas, shortbreads, pork chops, beef ribs, and sushi rolls.
Definitely what representative of what you'd expect from a fancy grocery store. A plethora of select organic and fresh foods, all for more expensive prices, but works for me when I need to go to a grocery store in the area. All the produce is organized very well, and there's a wide range of fruits and vegetables you might not find at other stores. However, I was hoping to get some Chinese eggplant and was disappointed there was only regular and baby eggplants. I do find the Gelato there very delicious though! I like to get a pint for $7.

I visited Central Market recently and was genuinely impressed. Everything felt incredibly fresh and well-organized, which made shopping there such a pleasant experience. They carry a lot of premium products that you don’t usually find at a regular H-E-B, which I really appreciated. I loved the freshly baked sourdough they were making right on the spot, and the wine selection was surprisingly diverse. The cheese section was also amazing—tons of variety, and one of the friendly staff members even offered us a tasting when we couldn’t decide. Thanks to that, we found a really delicious cheese to bring home. Overall, it was such a fun and satisfying visit. I’ll definitely be going back!

It’s a nice big grocery shopping center! It’s huge and it has many food items and goods for cooking! They have some restaurants and bakeries inside the store so you really get to have variety of things! Many products are nice and fresh but it’s on a bit more expensive end. We bought a loaf of bread and it was sooo good! Love to get it again! Keep up the good work! Cheers 🥂

Doesn't have my favorite ginger beer, only their overpriced central market brand. Got fresh 5 dollar red currets yesterday and then spoiled the next day. Update: Same with my bananas. Ironically, you know it is an inconvience for people with valid complaints to follow up with your manipulative marketing tactics. You are only giving me resources (through an automatic response) because you don't want other people to see your store as a place that sells products that can't last a single day in a fridge. I will indeed call this number and get a refund on the weak fruits your provided.

First time shopper here and I must say it was an amazing experience! So many unique items to try that I can’t wait to come back and try them all. This location gets packed so I would recommend getting there pretty early to avoid crowds. There are so many items to highlight but what stands out the most for me is the customer service. The staff here is amazing and was very attentive to all of my needs. From the store manager to the ladies in the bakery section being very helpful, this location is top notch! Sawyer & Co is a retro-modern diner located in East Austin, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for leisurely brunches. The menu features classic Southern and New Orleans-style dishes such as shrimp & grits, jambalaya, gumbos, muffalettas, and more. With its mid-century charm and Texas hospitality, Sawyer & Co has become a top choice for brunch in Austin.
Design and atmosphere, A+. Menu, A+. Service, A+. Sat outside but the shade covering made it comfortable. Madison was our server and they were wonderful. Fried Green tomatoes were incredible, could have just made a meal just out of that. Got the iced vanilla latte, iced strawberry matcha latte (was good just needed a little sugar) and Prickly pear limeade (sweet and very sour!). We got the basic eggs Benedict and the grits and greens, with a side of fried chicken. I recommend asking for the chili maple to drizzle on top of the chicken! The corn bread was tasty but not very sweet at all. Honestly considering coming back to try something different tomorrow, it was that good.

Here’s an updated version of your review that includes that final thought: ⸻ Sawyer & Co – 3/5 We visited on a rainy Saturday morning and had a reservation. When we arrived, we still had to wait a bit for our table. We were seated outside, but the chairs were still wet from the rain. I had to use napkins to wipe them down myself—something I wish the staff had handled before seating us. Service was quite slow. I wanted to flag someone about the wet chairs, but no one was around, so I just took care of it so we could sit. It also took a while for our server to come by and take our order. On the bright side, the food was good and came out quickly once we ordered. One other waiter eventually came by to refill our water, and I appreciated that. An older woman also made her rounds to check in with tables, which was a nice touch, even though we were still waiting on water at that point. Overall, the food was solid, but the service and rainy weather put a damper on the experience. I think it would’ve been much better on a dry day with more attentive service.

Madison was perfect 👌 gave us space to chat and catch up and was always available for us. Love the outdoor vibes. Go now while the weather is lovely. The coffee truck outside was awesome, too! It was our first time visiting. We would have gone back the next day for brunch again but our group got larger and it would have been hard to accommodate. I recommend a reservation for brunch. The food was delicious but the shining star is the cool mid century modern build out they did. The atmosphere is perfect.

We stopped by Sawyer & Co. for breakfast on a Monday morning. It was a bit slow when we arrived, but the service more than made up for it—our waitress was super sweet and very prompt. We ordered the French toast and the biscuits & gravy, and both were absolutely delicious! The location itself is super cute, with a fun, retro vibe and a cozy atmosphere. One thing to note: there wasn’t a changing table in the bathroom, which made things a little tricky with our baby. However, they did have high chairs and booster seats available, which was appreciated. Overall, great food and great service—we’d definitely come back!

Retro heaven !! Chic 1950s diner energy—minus the problematic bits. I ordered the chicken & waffles and WHEW…perfection. The waffle was cloud-level fluffy, the chicken had that crispy flavorful skin (not over-breaded, just right). Our server was the sweetest, attentive but gave us space. Bonus points: the booths are this dreamy Tiffany-blue that makes the whole place feel like a set piece. Love the aesthetic sm, 10/10.

Atmosphere was great! It’s a cute retro vibe. Unfortunately the food was less than expected. I ordered salmon Benedict, it supposed to be over potato cake but they were out so we were told it would be over a muffin. When it came out it was over a biscuit and the hollandaise sauce was minimal. They do not offer a pancake side so you will need to order a pancake entree. We arrived at 1030 and by 1130 the host came by and advised us that he has a reservation for our table in 10 mins. So we basically had to leave. That was quite unprofessional in my opinion.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Joe’s Bakery & Coffee Shop is a beloved, family-owned establishment that has been serving up classic Mexican fare and bakery treats for over 75 years. Despite the changing landscape of East Austin, this iconic institution remains a steadfast presence, offering fluffy house-made flour tortillas filled with migas and an unbeatable carne guisada.
Joe's has a history back to 1935, but he actually bought it from his parents in 1962. With his brother-in-law, they opened their business on 7th Street. The brother-in-law left a few months later, amicably. Leaving, Joe to run it sixteen to eighteen hours a day. Relocated, the restaurant 2 doors down to an old lumber yard in 1969, where it still is today.. this is a true Austin icon. It's been around for more than forever, and it's always full, especially on the weekends. You can see from the pictures that usually we get something different, just so we can compare more. But she's a migas, freak, and I love migas, and theirs are incredible, the beans were really good. The bacon was absolutely amazing. If you like, really crispy and flavorable. Yeah, this was it. The attention from the server was pretty good. And you could just tell how many people knew each other coming and going and talking and enjoying it. This is one of the places that makes me really happy that I try to discover all these places.. And share them with y'all. They do have some bakery goods, and this was new this time. It says you have to order them from your table. But if you want your Mexican bakery items, they've got them.. Enjoy

My husband has been getting his breakfast tacos here for years and finally brought me for breakfast! As soon as we entered, it was so nostalgic and reminded me of my valley days. It has that old school, authentic Mexican hole in the wall vibe. The walls are covered with memorabilia and photos of famous people that have stopped by. We even spotted two of the servers on some pictures that must’ve been over 10 years ago. You can tell they are loyal to this restaurant and love what they do! It was pretty busy around 10am on a Tuesday morning, but we spotted a booth that was available. Our server was busy but attended us as quickly as he could. We ordered a coffee to drink and it was such a good roast. Our server made sure it stayed refilled throughout our stay. For breakfast, my husband ordered the Joe’s special and I ordered the barbacoa plate. The prices are pretty expensive for breakfast but the quality of food was worth it. The flour tortillas are homemade and they were buttery and thin, just the way I like them. They were so good we had to order two more. They are smaller than I’m used to so we each had 3 total. My barbacoa was flavorful and not fatty at all. I did order some onion and cilantro on the side which I’m used to eating my barbacoa with but it did come at an upcharge. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the refried beans were delicious. I’m not a big fan of the way they cook their potatoes as they are round spears so my hubby ate those. My husband liked his carne guisada and the bacon was a little too fried for my liking but he sure ate it all. We ate it all up and left nothing on the plate. That’s how good it all was! On our way out, we stopped by at their bakery and saw their options. They offer a variety of traditional sweet bread. We decided to skip out this time as we were so full. We will definitely be back for sure! I will say their breakfast tacos are priced so well ($2.75 each) that i will probably order those next time. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by for your next breakfast and lunch plans!

Joe’s Bakery & Coffee Shop in East Austin is a must for anyone craving authentic Tex-Mex breakfast and traditional Mexican pastries. It’s family-owned and has been serving up some of the best comfort food in the city for generations. The menu is loaded with an extensive variety of breakfast tacos, each one made fresh and packed with flavor, but the real star is the cheesy migas con todo plate. Don’t leave without grabbing a few of their baked goods from the counter! The conchas and empanadas are pure nostalgia. Joe’s blends old-school Austin charm with the warmth of a family-run kitchen.

Such a big disappointment. I have not been here in YEARS and it has significantly changed. There was no greeting with hospitality. In fact the lady that introduced herself with the spiked hair was extremely rude with NO COMMUNICATION skills. The food was terrible. Store bought stale crispy tacos, beef not seasoned. Quesadillas and enchiladas chicken were very bland. The menudo was decent but they charge .75 for cilantro. Like what’s menudo not paired with onion and cilantro? Queso was entirely too thick. I can’t imagine what it does in the inside. This use to be such an amazing place but I will not be coming back here ever. We left most of the food on the plate. We spent 175.00 because it was a large group. Our server Ms Linda was nice and pleasant. She was the only breath of fresh air we encountered.

Irenes is a vintage-inspired restaurant located on West Ave, offering American comfort food with a modern twist and strong cocktails. The warm bar and patio are adorned with retro decor, creating a 1950s ambiance. The establishment pays homage to one of the owner's grandmothers, Irene, known for her love of drinking, smoking, and gambling while embodying true hospitality.
The atmosphere changes with the time of day, from bright brunch to classy afternoon coffee/snacks or dinner to lively bar. Well done options, with lots of veggies. Friends say it's the best grilled cheese in Austin. The menu gets pricey, but it's downtown.

went for brunch on Sunday morning before heading home. seated quickly and food was great. we had a party of 13. server was good

Good music, great food and friendly service. What more can you ask for? I really enjoyed the frozen margarita with a guava float. The tomato bisque soup was THE BEST I ever had. I can also recommend the enchiladas 😋
Chris S — Google review
The food was very good. Fried Chicken Sliders, Fries were a lot like five guys fries, popcorn and pickles - the popcorn was just popped with oil and salted like Alamo Drafthouse popcorn, pickles were your standard dill pickles. They also have Frozé as well as several other cocktails. Very nice open atmosphere, the inside is cooled well with AC. Service is friendly. Highly recommend.

WOW! Just look at these pictures. They show and prove themselves. Came this morning with a party of 7, seated quickly. Waiter was slow at attending but he did a great job! Pretty sure he just had a lot of tables and might have been understaffed. Got all of our orders correct and was very kind. FOOD was GREAT! I mean, WOW. And the drinks were amazing. They didn’t cheap out on alcohol and we all appreciated that lol. You can taste the liquor along with the mixes. Very happy with the prices. Not cheap, but not expensive. A good in between. Look at spending around $10 a plate for the most part. Completely worth it. 10/10 recommend <3 Thank you Irene’s for a great brunch!

This place is one of my top 5 in Austin! The decor was fantastic and the food hit the mark on all aspects! Our server was amazing and he share the knowledge and history of the location while giving me a tour (old Jaguar car factory)!
David K — Google review
The atmosphere and food were both incredible. There are options for outdoor seating, indoor seating, and covered outdoor seating. The parking situation is not fun. The lot next door is $20 for 3 hours. Service was good, but felt rushed. We were told, “just let me know when you’re ready” at least 4 times after the check was dropped off and we hadn’t ordered dessert yet, nor had we been offered dessert. The cappuccino was good, and although the cookie was fantastic, I was very underwhelmed by the presentation. Overall, the experience was good, and I would dine here again.

If you're in Austin and have a sweet tooth, Sprinkles is the place to be! This delightful bakery offers an array of moist cupcakes topped with luscious frosting that will satisfy any sugar craving. With classic flavors like chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla alongside unique options such as banana dark chocolate and triple cinnamon, there's something for everyone. One of the standout features is their 24-hour cupcake ATM—yes, you read that right!
Rich and delicious cupcakes. We got strawberry and the black and white. Impressed with the freshness and natural taste of the strawberry, but the topper definitely had us cracking up. They were having some technical difficulties with their self order stations so those could definitely use some upgrades or something different. But staff was friendly and ready to assist when they stations didn't work.
Desiree M — Google review
Sprinkles cupcakes are good, although I actually prefer them with a little bit less crossing. They often have interesting flavors come through for a few weeks and they are always fresh. They have something I’ve never seen before, it looks like a mashed up cupcake in a jar, but for me, it might be too sweet because it looks like there’s more frosting per cupcake than the actual cupcakes. I wish their prices were a little bit lower, and that they had a place to sit down inside, but that’s about it.
Steve T — Google review
This is how I received my cupcake.. in a brown paper sack. It’s dry and cost $5.10 and so disappointing. The two ladies were not very engaging and I had to ask where to order. After I used the kiosk, the lady asked if I could check my bank account to make sure it went through because a ticket didn’t print and if I ordered a cupcake it would for sure print… had to prove that it did in fact go through on my bank account then received a dry cupcake in a paper sack. Will not return.
Ashley G — Google review
Their cupcake selection includes a variety of flavors, with Red Velvet available in classic, vegan, and gluten-friendly versions.

We are a great fan of Sprinkles at Chicago. Yesterday we got a Pineapple cupcake. It was dry and icing does not have any pineapple flavor . The fruit inside was ok not sweet . Overall it felt like I wasted my money . The coffee one was very good . We got six cupcakes and a cake for our pup which my pup loved
Radha S — Google review
Sprinkles is my absolute favorite and the absolute best cupcake ever. The cake is the perfect consistency, the frosting is the perfect amount of sweetness and amount. Every flavor is divine. The strawberry amd coffee are routine favs but the Holiday Gingerbread is EVERYTHING!!
Heather C — Google review
The cupcakes are great with lots of variety in flavors. The prices are high in my opinion and have definitely increased. One cupcake is over $5. They sell pupcakes that my dog loves which are 2 for $5 and super cute looking. There’s no where to sit inside so make sure you visit on a nice day so you can sit on the benches outside.
J M — Google review
This location does not live up to the quality of other Sprinkles locations. I’ve been an avid fan of Sprinkles ever since the first one opened in Beverly Hills 20 years ago. Until I’ve had a local bakery, I used to fly to Chicago, New York and LA and bring back dozens. I’m so disappointed by this location. A couple of weeks ago, I brought two guests there, I was so excited for them to try these typically amazing cupcakes but we were sorely disappointed. First, our order was incorrect and we had to return to the bakery. Then the dot on the cupcake exploded with red dye when my guest bit into it, staining her mouth and face. To top it off, all of our cupcakes tasted very dry. Because I’m such a loyal fan of the brand I gave them another shot yesterday, but alas, again my cupcake was dry. Possibly overbaked? Or maybe they bake them at 2 AM and they sit out all day so they taste day old. Two strikes, they’re out.

Farmers Markets
The Barton Creek Farmers Market is a vibrant Saturday market located at the Barton Creek Square Mall in West Lake Hills. It offers a picturesque view of downtown Austin and features a variety of farm-fresh produce, specialty foods, and organic goods. In addition to fruits, vegetables, and pasture-raised proteins, visitors can find freshly baked breads, jams, and Angus beef. The market also hosts art vendors, jewelry makers, and live music to create a lively atmosphere for shoppers.
It's my first time visiting the place. Lots of parking and alot of vendors. I believe they have more vendors than Muller's (sorry if you think other wise) amd the spacing of the vendors were better. Plants, food, coffee, baklava, tamale, farm goods, dog treats, crystal arts, wooden arts, and many more to see!
S.J. — Google review
I went once recently, it was small and crowded, nothing great, but good enough .....I was planning on going again soon so I pulled it up on google, and thankfully decided to read the reviews......I usually read all of the, and the one star comments too, because that's usually where to truth is found. I was disgusted to read the comments about the owner, and further disgusted by her rude, snarky, arrogant reply to one star comments. I won't be going back, even though the pickles I got last time were delicious. I won't patronize a business that is run by a rude, nasty owner......and you vendors, perhaps find a better way to sell your products, because doing business with someone who seemingly berates and intimidates you, is not worth it. I'm sure she'll reply with some ignorant comment, that's what bully's do. If you care anything about what Austin used to stand for, you'll not patronize this place. The owner seems indicative of what Austin has become, filled with people moving here only to capitalize off the greatness that Austin used to be, and they are bringing their nastiness from wherever they came from, destroying the friendly, peaceful nature we used to be.
Anthony T — Google review
Born and raised Austinite here...Ive been attending this market since high school and each time I come, I am never left unsatisfied. Over the years, I've become good friends with the owner and she is one of the most interesting and intelligent person I've come across. Some of the reviews left on here, from "Anthony T.", say she is rude and ridicules her way of running a business. Well sir I can assure you, you are no match for her. Her business's, that's right plural, are clearly doing something right because they have been going strong for many years now. May I ask how many you have? In order to be successful, you must be stern sometimes and be able to learn from your mistakes. If any of those vendors had a problem, they wouldn't be coming back each weekend. So please don't bother listening to a fool who got his feelings hurt. This market is fun and full of the best products you can think of
Cody J — Google review
There's no variety. Seems like the same vendors just different day. They need to change it up. Not much for veggies and not much of anything. The Honduran coffee was delicious.
Teresa E — Google review
This is the largest Farmer’s Market in the South Austin area, at least that I am aware of. A Saturday morning visit to this market is a great family or date activity any time of the year. They have a diverse selection of vendors; from baked goods to produce, all the way to CBD and candles. Many people bring their dogs along to stroll around the many vendor tents. There is also a fantastic view of the downtown Austin skyline and plenty of parking.
Chris S — Google review
I love this market. Do not miss Peace cheese - the best vegan cheese. This is such a laid back market. Beautiful produce, great breads, live plants, kombucha, artisan chocolate, locally raised meat, handmade soaps and more. Quiet relaxing music, great parking.

One of the better markets around. Plenty of guest parking. I really like the grilled cheese stand, the ceviche business, and also the creole food tent. 💯

Patrons rave about the flaky croissants paired with rich brews or sweet Horchata, making it the perfect place to satisfy your cravings.
Nice little spot to stop in, and I love the cat theme! A little pricey but the coffee and food was delicious so not too upset about it. I definitely recommend the hazelnut latte and the bean, jalapeno, and cheese empanada. We chose take out because they had no music playing in the lobby but other than that atmosphere was very cozy. Will come back!

This place is a hidden gem! We were visiting Austin for the weekend, and before leaving, stopped for some pastries for the road and oh my goodness… the vegan empanadas were delicious! Both my husband and mother-in-law aren’t vegan but they loved the regular and chocolate croissants. If you love plant-based pastries, coffee AND cats 😻, then you should check this place out. The owner/manager was super nice and gave us a croissant cinnamon roll to try as well, and it’s probably the best dessert I ever had.
Kristina A — Google review
I have been going to FatCats for 3 years and it hits every time. The staff is kind and informative. It’s nice to have a midday conversation that has nothing to do with work, ha. I get a dirty chai latte most of the time. If you order it iced it’s premade (in house) if you order it hot it is made fresh on the spot (allow extra time for this). The tea selection is top tier and I constantly see what looks like pre-ordered goods going out regularly. The assortments of Empanadas and baked goods is vast and it’s all good, my personal favorite is the Taco Crumble. The little donuts are delicious as well. I love coming in and usually stop through at least 1-2 times weekly.
Heather W — Google review
Slow service but baked goods are SO amazing! I’m not even vegan, but I loved their croissants. Definitely give this place a shot. Also, the cat art and photos everywhere made my day.

Entire store is Dairy Free and there are Gluten Free options as well! Being gluten and dairy intolerant myself I know the struggle of finding good quality and great tasting options. Fat Cats has definitely done it right! The staff was also super friendly and helpful! I will 100% be back!

The pastries are made fresh and genuinely are amazing and are the best thing about this place. Service is a bit slow but all staff is nice and friendly. We asked which iced teas are pre made and ordered the black iced tea. It was lukewarm with no ice when we got it which was a little odd.

Love this spot for vegan snacks and drinks — definitely one of my favorites! The chai is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I’m obsessed with the blueberry doughnut, the vegan empanadas and kolaches are always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything tastes like it was made with care. Highly recommend!

Mi Tradición is a Mexican bakery and cafe that immerses visitors in the vibrant culture of Mexico with its colorful walls and rustic furniture. Upon entering, guests are greeted with the traditional practice of selecting their desired sweets from trays using tongs. The owners, originally from Puebla, Mexico, have expanded their offerings to include not only a variety of bread but also authentic Mexican street-food staples like tacos al pastor and tlacoyos at their adjacent taco and torta eatery.
My family and I have only been to this place twice, and both times it felt like we were on vacation in Mexico. And I mean that in the best way possible. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The guests are mostly native Mexicans (always a good sign). The food is about as authentic Mexican as you can get. The variety of postres (desserts) is over the top, from pan dulces, to flan, to different tres leches cakes). If you're looking for little Mexico in the heart of Austin Texas, La Tradicíon is a must to try.
Jesse K — Google review
This place feels very authentic to me from the freshly baked pastries, warm churros, breads and more come directly from the ovens in the back. We can see so many bakers working in the back working from scratch, not the typical frozen pre-made stuff of other bakeries. Our tasty bread literally came from the oven :20 seconds before it ended in our bag, nothing fresher and better. What’s even better are the prices, so affordable. Skip your trendy shop and buy from an authentic place.
Jesse L — Google review
From the freshly made food, the menu offers plenty to enjoy. Although my cheeseburger wasn't as flavorful and was quite bland. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, with colorful decor that adds to the cultural experience, though it can occasionally feel a bit crowded and slightly messy. But. They really shine in its service, The staff is friendly and quite quick, even during top hours. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, the team goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. Overall, it’s a wonderful place.

This is one of my favorite spots to get Pan Dulce, great selection, great taste. Also live that they have a full service restaurant attached serving up some delicious tortas, tlacoyos, tacos y aguas frescas
Erick C — Google review
Great place for food and pastries. We ordered a few items from the menu that are made in the moment. The order takers are friendly and the guys who are giving out the food are cool. My only concern is why they don’t add any sour cream to the torta? Everything was good but the milanesa torta was made with lettuce tomato and milanesa, that was flavorless. The aguas frescas are delicious.
Jose A — Google review
I visited Mi Tradicion in search of freshly made pastries, specifically for concha. The bakery had a wide variety of bakery items as a self-serve style such as concha, cookies, muffins, danishes and other sweets. I purchased a concha, a cookie and what appeared to be a chocolate covered concha. The conchas were not very fresh to be honest, although plenty of items were stocked throughout the evening. I enjoyed the cookie though, it was a thicker, soft cookie and had a good vanilla flavour. I visited during the evening so this may have had an impact on freshness or quality. The bakery itself didn't provide any parchment paper liners or sheets to place inside the metal trays while picking out your items, so this may have been a sanitary concern of mine. Other than that, the bakery seemed clean, although a little outdated in terms of the building itself. Thank you
Melody — Google review
I stopped by during work to buy some churros, and even though I only got five, they were so dry and hard that I couldn’t even bite into them. I’ve bought bread from here before and the quality was always great, but this time I was really disappointed. I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back or recommending this place if the quality of the bread has declined this much.
Eunice J — Google review
I went today for lunch because this place is hidden, but with so many social networks putting this place on. There is nothing over the top about this place, as I bought Neapolitan cake and a huarache shepherd. These two items were very filling, and the blue corn tortilla was the first time I tried it, and it was amazing! The staff is amazing after placing the order it was ready within minutes. Season well, and the ingredients will be fresh. The bakery part was huge as I couldn't leave without buying something, the bread and sweets were wonderful. This panadería is larger than what I've seen in Austin for a while and reminds me of childhood outings and going to a panadería after church. Love this place

The expansive front patio provides ample space for families with strollers or little ones who want to play while waiting for their food. The interior boasts an open and inviting atmosphere with bench seating, warm woods, light colors, and abundant plant life that seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces.
We’ve been coming to Hank’s for a few years now—it’s easily one of our favorite happy hour spots in town. The ambiance is always spot-on, with stylish design and a laid-back vibe. We especially love grabbing a seat at the bar. On our most recent visit, Miriam took care of us and was fantastic—super attentive, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience even better. We enjoyed the white wine on tap, the frozen Paloma, and the Aperol spritz—all refreshing and well-made. The burger hit the spot, but if you’re looking for standouts, we highly recommend the pesto rice bowl with grilled chicken and the spicy shrimp. I've been here a few times and have loved the food every time but on this occasion the lamb meatballs were a bit too dry and overcooked in my opinion. Best bakery in town! We come here often because the pastry is great! What I love about the cakes and pastries is that they’re not too sweet and sugary. For a place that serves breakfast, they should understand urgency and time management. We're all trying to get our days started and it really sucks when you show up when they said the order would be ready, only to find they haven't even started. I placed an order at 8:20am. The order said it would be ready by 8:56am. 30 minutes for an omelette and brioche French toast? Ok, I guess? I arrived on time and they hadn't even started on the order. No one was inside. It wasn't like they were slammed and couldn't keep up with orders. Just neglect. Possibly incompetence? Our lives are busy. I have an entire day ahead and you guys set me back almost an hour because you don't have your act together. Oh, good job burning the French toast.

Loved the food and service. The french toast is definitely a must try. From what I believe it, it has sloght notes of cinnamon which goes well with the soft warm toast and the sweet syrup. The coffee was bold and flavourful. Would have given 5 stars if the price was a little lower. Great ambience and service.

Within walking distance, this bakery has a peaceful, garden-like seating area that’s clean, well-spaced, and even feels a little romantic. I didn’t get attacked by bugs, so either they treat the area or I got lucky. The coffee was surprisingly good: strong, smooth, and well-made. Unfortunately, sandwiches weren’t available because the chef was out, which was odd given the menu is fairly simple and you’d expect more than one person to know how to make them… I did get a baguette despite it looking like it had wilted in the humidity, and my first bites were unappetizing. But after toasting it at home, it was really good. I nearly finished the whole loaf in one day!

After two gift shipments got lost, the TFB team showed incredible empathy. They immediately took the initiative to reship the items with overnight shipping, going completely above and beyond. It's this kind of care that makes them my first choice for gifts for friends and family near and far.

Stopped by Texas French Bread and loved the vibe. Their artisan breads, fresh pastries, and sandwiches (like the oven-roasted chicken and smoked ham & provolone) were all solid — you can tell they bake with care. Their coffee was surprisingly good, too — a nice pairing with everything. The garden setup (their outdoor seating) is quaint and calm, a relaxing spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The staff were friendly and took time chatting about menu favorites. Even with the fire they had in the past, they’ve bounced back beautifully.

Tiny Pies is a locally-owned gem that has been capturing the essence of nostalgic pie memories since 2011. Baked fresh daily with natural ingredients, these individually sized pies come in both sweet and savory flavors, all encased in a signature crust made from European butter. Whether it's the seasonal banana cream or classic Texas pecan, these little treats pack a punch in flavor and texture. Don't worry if you can't get enough - they also offer full-sized pies.
As someone who loves pies and really only wants a small portion, this dessert shop got it right by selling personable sized pies. We got there a bit later in the day where there were slim pickings but they were delicious! Make sure you ask for them to be warmed up!

We ended up getting the pecan pie and coconut cream pie. I would 100% recommend the coconut cream pie... But I would not recommend the pecan pie. This is tough for me to say because I'm a huge pecan pie fan and I thought it would be my favourite without question. Unfortunately the crust was dry, although the flavour was pretty good. The flavour didn't make up for the crust though. The coconut cream pie was perfect. My partner decided on the coconut cream pie and we shared half & half. It wouldn't have been my 2nd choice if I was eating there by myself. I'm really glad I tried it! If I had just tried the pecan pie, I think my food rating would have been 2/5. Because of the coconut cream pie, it bumped it up to a 4/5. Would visit them again and try some different pies!

Tiny Pies - A Stellar Treat! 5 out of 5 stars Tiny Pies stole my heart (and satisfied my sweet tooth)! I recently tried their Chocolate Eclipse Pie - perfect for the upcoming eclipse - and it was absolutely delicious. The graham cracker crust was buttery and flavorful, the marshmallow filling was gooey and delightful, and the dark chocolate coating added a rich touch. It was like a mini planet of deliciousness in my mouth! Beyond the limited edition pie, I also indulged in their classic flavors - the key lime and lemon meringue. Both were fantastic! The key lime had a perfect balance of tart and sweet, and the lemon meringue was light and fluffy with a perfectly toasted meringue topping. Overall, Tiny Pies impressed me with their delicious flavors, high-quality ingredients, and adorable size. They're perfect for a quick sweet treat or a unique dessert to share. I can't wait to try their other flavors next time! Highly recommend!

I stopped by Tiny Pies for the introduction of their new Pie Freeze. The staff was super kind and attentive even though they were busy and the Pie Freeze was even more delicious than expected!! It tasted homemade, so so good. I will be stopping by after visits to the movies at Alamo Drafthouse!

I recently visited this pie shop and was impressed with their selection. They offer both pre-made and raw pies. I tried the lemon pie and loved the filling. The pie crust had a texture that was a mix of crumbly and sandy. You can visit this shop to find a delicious treat.

Delicious, fresh and just the right size portion to enjoy a decadent, sweet treat. The pumpkin and cherry pies were excellent and enjoyed as individually sized desserts. They make a nice gift for a dinner host too.
Elva A — Google review
Update: After speaking with management they refunded my original purchase and provided me with some new pies for free. The pie filling was still good, the crust still wasn’t that great. Cherry pie was my favorite. The flavors I had ordered weren’t the ones I received. Overall, it’s nice that management cares about their customers, so I raised my score from 1 to 3. Original: First time trying these pies and super disappointed. The crust was SOO hard/over cooked. I went in the afternoon so I’m not sure if they were old or I was just unlucky with getting super hard and over cooked pie crust. The fillings were pretty tasty but I feel like I wasted 40 dollars at this place.

Picked up some pies the other day to take to a dinner and we got there about 40 minutes before closing time. There was still a good amount pies available for us to purchase. I thought the price of over $4 a tiny pie was a little steep but they definitely were delicious. I'm not a huge pie fanatic so my favorite was the Vegan Berry of all the ones we tried (Key lime, Lemon meringue, vegan berry and peach crumble). I also noticed that when we walked in, the room smelled like cigarettes and then soon after walking in, the staff member that was there to help us wasn't incredibly friendly.

Cake shop
Paper Route Bakery offers a unique twist on traditional baked goods with their savory Pao de Queijos, featuring a crunchy exterior and cheesy interior in flavors like Original, Spicy Jalapeno, and Prosciutto Rosemary. After a brief hiatus, the bakery has returned with a renewed focus on crafting visually stunning and flavorful cakes. Additionally, their sweet lemon cookies are perfect for those who enjoy zesty desserts.
The pistachio oasis is perfection. Easily one of the best cakes I ever had. We wanted a cake for our micro-wedding that our guests would love. We got several slices to try from Paper Route Bakery and from the first bite of pistachio oasis, my husband (who is not a dessert person) and I were sold! Not only was the cake delectable, but it was a perfectly cute presentation with our name and wedding date on it. The decoration is simple and classic, which fit our wedding aesthetic. Everyone was raving about how wonderful the cake tasted bc it’s not overly sweet but has a beautiful flavor. Make sure to get extra because we were so happy to have enough to eat for the next couple days after the wedding.

Brilliantly made goods and the kindest, talented person is making them! We met Aaron on our stop to his bakery and his passion for his work is so evident! His creations are super yummy and crafted so well! We will definitely be back! The scones and cakes we got were AMAZING! His icings, custards, and fillings are so balanced and delicious.
Allison R — Google review
The best scones we’ve ever had! Seriously they were amazing. Very large, with a lot of ingredients in each one. Awesome selection of flavors. The cookies and bars were good too! They graciously gave us several additional items to sample.
Alissa O — Google review
Some of the best cake I’ve ever had. I got the chocolate cake and it was so delicious! I can tell that they really put thought and care into making their cakes. It was so moist. The filling is tasty and the frosting is so creamy. At the same time, it had the right amount of decadence. The staff is so welcoming and kind as well. They even gave a sample of their strawberry cake and it was also just as delicious! A wonderful place for a dessert fix. Parking was a bit difficult but only because I came on a Sunday morning and it is right next to a church and a busy lunch rush at Cenote. Worth the visit for sure though!
Gabz — Google review
Wow this place is delicious! The cookies are huge and so flavorful. Peanut butter milkshake cookie, chocolate milkshake cookie, regular chocolate chip cookie plus some incredible scones, come on! Chef/baker Aaron has created some wonderful desserts. He’s a friendly guy with great attention to flavor, and he takes care of his regulars! It shares the patio with the restaurant Cenote on E Caesar Chavez. Get over to Paper Route before it closes at 6:00PM!!

I showed up late in the day when many of the scone options were sold out and the baker was so thoughtful and accommodating despite that. I would easily recommend this bakery for their wonderful sweet and savory options as well as the delightful service. A+ icing, great parmesan scone. Would definitely come back and bring friends
Alyss N — Google review
Not only are the scones and cookies at Paper Route Bakery DECADENT, Aaron is (maybe) sweeter than his unforgettable creations. I've tried every scone flavor and have trouble picking a favorite, but I do love this summer season’s peach pecan. (Can you really go wrong with lemon blueberry, the cloves in the orange cranberry or the banana in the French toast though?) And... they’re enormous. We haven’t even talked about his cookies. He takes the classic chocolate chip to another chunky, gooey level that leaves you saying, “ok... I’ll get another one to-go.” Aaron puts the same amount of time and care into his delicious baked good as he does with every. single. customer. that walks up to greet him. It’s clear that he is insanely hardworking and dedicated to ensuring every bite is the same. I tell everyone I know to visit Aaron and support this fantastic local business. He’s what makes Austin special... even if it means you have to hit the trail for a few extra miles after you leave. (Pics are peanut butter cookie, cranberry orange scone, peach pecan scone, French toast and cranberry scone)

We got the Chocolate Fainting Couch cake from Aaron at Paper Route Bakery. Y'all. It's the gentle warmth from a fireplace during winter. It's a smooth first date in springtime. It's flavorful and fluffy without having the sickly sweetness of a grocery store cake. It manages to be delicious without being overpowering - so in a word, elegant. It's rich without flaunting its money. And I've gotta say, interacting with Aaron was such a pleasure. He's got a clear passion for the cakes and is wonderful to speak with. Go try a slice from em today!

Bakery
The Cake & Spoon is a bakery that offers a unique blend of traditional and distinctive pies. They specialize in both savory hand pies like English Sausage Rolls and sweet Southern pies such as Buttermilk Pie, which is made with tangy buttermilk instead of cream.
Just popped by the downtown farmer's market yesterday with my family to celebrate my birthday. The mushroom and brie quiche I bought from Cake & Spoon was out of this world. I am blown away by both the quality of the food and Melissa herself. She is so kind and I loved chatting with her at the market. Please do yourself a favor and support this amazing business!

I just wanted to send a quick note about how much I enjoyed one of your pecan pies this week. My wife and I are from North Little Rock, Arkansas, and we just returned from a road trip to Houston and San Antonio. Our path home took us through Austin, and I was lucky enough to catch Franklin Barbecue at a slow point on Tuesday. I loaded up on 'cue, and ordered a pecan pie almost as an afterthought. I'm a 51-year-old man from the South, so I've had my fair share of pecan pies. This was, without a doubt, the best version I've ever eaten. I just felt obliged to let you know. Thank you for the wonderful treat. If I'm ever in Austin again, rest assured I'll make a point to get another.
Keith M — Google review
We experienced pies at Franklin's and oh my; were they good! We had the pecan pie, key lime and bourbon banana pie and each of them were extremely tasty, Will definitely be back for more.
Leonard B — Google review
These are the best pies I've EVER had in my life. I'm 69 yrs old and believe me I've consumed a lot of pies in my life. The crust is so light and flakey OMG there are no words to describe how wonderful they are. I've gotten them with my order at Franklin's BBQ twice. I've had the pecan, key lime, Ruby's Dang pie, key lime & lemon chess each one outstanding & delicious. As I can only afford Franklin's about once a year could you tell me where else I can buy these wonderful mana from heaven 🥧 pies?
June C — Google review
This is the best pecan pie we've ever had! I can't recommend it highly enough. Melissa is also super kind, and even came in on a Thanksgiving to help us pick up our pie after we had some confusion with the online ordering system.
Dan M — Google review
I had the pleasure of a bourbon banana tart hand pie. Yes the barbecue at Franklin’s was indeed awesome but this pie...to die for! I wish I lived in Austin so I could have it again. It would be worth traveling back just for this pie. 🥰😋
Pamela E — Google review
I saw the pecan pie at Franklin's and it was sold out but I couldn't stop thinking about it and I traced it back to the source so I went to the actual bakery and basically stepped right into the kitchen to ask for 3 pecan pies. The staff is very friendly and their pie is indeed divine and 1the best I've had in Texas yet.
Diana B — Google review
I love sweets and my son Jean Paul bought me a chocolate and orange scone from their SFC Downtown FM booth( he has a booth there too) and must said it is absolutely delicious, only ate half become is big and I will eat the rest at tea time. Read all the reviews and there were 5 stars. You are getting 5 from me too.
