This place was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for both me and my dog. The 24oz beers were reasonably priced at $10, and the service was friendly and quick. We had a great time playing shuffleboard and enjoyed the cool jukebox. It’s a laid-back, relaxed spot, perfect for spending time with your partner and pup.

We were really fortunate on the bar allowing us to have our baby shower here at this bar. We understand that the bar serves a very non-baby crowd or just over all baby less, but its been a bar that I have gone to for years with my dogs and am really excited to have had the opportunity to celebrate a great moment in my life at one of my favorite bars in Williamsburg. Ashley is also a great bartender. I am still sort of concerned that with the new stools they have put into the space will take up valuable standing room and its kind of blocking the door a bit.

You ever feel like you have so much good to say and don’t know where to begin… that’s me right now when thinking about Lucky dog. I’ll begin by saying that I felt like a really lucky dog when I walked into the lucky dog. The Lucky dog is a special place, a bar that not only allows, but welcomes our little friends. Humans feel like lucky dogs, dogs feel like lucky dogs and everyone gets lucky at the lucky dog.

Had good variety of beers, played good music. Was nosier/busier than I typically like, wouldn’t recommend if you wanted to have a quiet beer, although if you’re in a more lively mood this is probably a better fit

It’s a true Williamsburg dive: graffiti walls, scruffed wooden benches, $5 beers that don’t ask questions, and a patio vibe that says, “you’re welcome here, but figure it out yourself.” I brought two dogs, Maya (white pit mix, calm queen) and River (the shaggy diplomat). They handled it perfectly, but Lucky Dog isn’t quite as dog-prepared as its name suggests. Here’s the thing: • Dogs technically aren’t allowed inside, so water access means you go in while they wait out. • They provide paper cups, not bowls. Cute for one dog. Chaotic with two. • No outdoor self-serve station = constant juggling act: leash, drink, hydration, composure. Choose two. The crowd? Chill. The dogs around? Varied. No aggression, but if you’re not confident managing a multi-dog vibe, this spot might stress you out more than soothe you. The outdoor patio was so spacious and really caught our attention. You can order some tacos and drinks, and enjoy the fresh air outside with friends. There’s some indoor seating too, the area was quieter since people were mainly outdoors. The food was good and so were the drinks. You should definitely try their corn!

I thought the food was excellent and the frozen drinks were also very good. We had the grilled corn, fish, taco, pork, taco and chicken quesadilla. Everything was really good, reasonably priced and the service was friendly. However, there is no strong AC so we were very hot!

We visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered two bowls: the Roasted Pork and the Beer-Battered Catfish. Both dishes were exceptionally delicious, offering a harmonious blend of flavors. Everything tasted fresh and was generously portioned. The decor was inviting and the atmosphere was great. They have plenty seating options, both indoors and outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We can’t wait to come back and ry their famous Cubano Sandwich!

Fun spot for some authentic food. The chicken was fresh, the margarita was delicious, and the grilled corn was amazing. There's a reason it's "world-famous." Word of caution to anyone who doesn't like it spicy, the grilled corn has some heat to it from the seasoning on top, but it's worth it 😅

Habana Outpost is a Fort Greene classic. Some seasons ago, this was my stomping ground — back when Ajile was the unofficial Mayor. 🙏🏼Glad to see that the quality of the food remains, and the energy is still very Brooklyn. Nothing beats a Habana corn and margarita!

Easily the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in NYC — juicy, flavorful, and messy in all the right ways. The bread was perfectly pressed with that satisfying crunch, the pork was tender and dripping with flavor, and every bite hit that perfect balance of salty, tangy, and rich. The fries? Golden, crisp, and actually seasoned (bless). This place clearly cares about doing comfort food right.

What a nice hangout spot for friends and family and it’s dog friendly! We had the Cuban sandwich combo and the world famous corn, both were delicious. What I like the most about this place is that it’s really chill and relaxing, especially when the weather is nice.

We finally checked out the reopening of Boris & Horton. There’s two separate rooms and entrances, one for humans and one for dogs. I liked how they have a controlled door where you can enter one at a time for the safety of dogs. When we entered, tbh, it was a bit chaotic. It was filled with both people and dogs, but more people than dogs. It was super loud in there and not a lot of space for dogs to roam around. There were a couple of people without dogs dining and felt a bit uncomfortable because my pup likes to jump up on the table and smell/eat the food, so I felt a bit uneasy because I didn’t want my pup to disturb them. There was also a big group that was celebrating a birthday, which was not the dog’s birthday but the owner’s (I just don’t think it’s the right place to have one, tbh). However, I did really enjoy the cold brew and cheese danish, but dogs aren’t allowed in the other room where you have to pick up the order. I felt uncomfortable leaving my pup alone in the other room, so you’ll want to have someone else with you at the time to watch your dog. My pup loved eating the pup cake, which they had a variety of along with pupper cups. On the other hand, it was cool to see my pup’s picture being selected to be hung on the bathroom wall. We’ll definitely be back, but at a time when it’s not too busy.

Boris & Horton – A Dog-Friendly Café Experience in NYC I recently visited Boris & Horton in the East Village with my daughter and our Yorkiepoo, Missy. I love the idea of a café where you can bring your dog and enjoy a meal in a fun, pet-friendly atmosphere—it’s such a unique experience in the city. I had the chicken patty with black rice and lamb with vegetables, along with a refreshing apple juice. My daughter ordered a bowl with chicken, and she really liked it. We also treated Missy to a dog-friendly cupcake, which was a sweet touch. The space was clean and had a relaxed, community feel. You can tell it's a place made for dog lovers. Now, while I appreciated the freedom for dogs to roam, that part came with some challenges. A few larger dogs walked up to our table while we were eating and tried to get at our food. Unfortunately, not all owners were mindful of their pets, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Missy, who isn’t used to being around a lot of dogs, stayed quietly in her bag next to me the whole time. Overall, I’d definitely visit again—just maybe during a quieter time of day. If you have a social dog and want a chill place to grab a bite, Boris & Horton is a great option. I just wish more dog owners would keep an eye on their pups so everyone can enjoy their meals in peace.

Great service. Went to a Lady & the tramp event and was well taken care of with my pup. The setup was lovely. Along with the pup menu, dog menu and table setups. My pup loved the squash and meatballs. Tiramisu was great as well. Loved the photo op. Always liked coming here. They've always been good to my pup and very accommodating.

Recently under a new ownership and have a lot of new offerings. Got a small dog and it's fun to bring him over and hangout here to get some drinks and early cocktails. They also get the new yappy hours with 2 dollars off cocktail and brunch specials like croissant french toast.

Best dog friendly spot in the city! As a dog "uncle" i love being able to pop in for a little doggie time, stay cool or warm up, and have some tasty treats. Service and staff is friendly, efficient, and easy. Dogs can be off leash in half the area, and there's lots of regulars. I really liked the iced teas, cocktail options, and the pesto mozzarella was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit!

Unfortunately I've been there twice and both times the staff have been rude and have a really off-putting vibe. It seems like they only are nice to you if you bring a dog. As a dog lover and someone who misses their passed dog and wants to be around dogs, this is extremely disappointing. The first time I was there, a staff member came up to me and said "We're having an [Insert Event here] in this area." That's it. Not an "I'm sorry miss, can I please ask you to move your seat, we're having an event. Thanks so much." Just "we're having an event" which felt like I was being kicked out of the entire place. The next time, I purchased food (not good, btw) and the extra $5 to sit in the dog area and sat down to do some work. A staff member came up to me and said they were going to "crack down on the laptops''...okay. I thought this was a cafe and I don't appreciate paying an exorbitant amount of money just to be told how I can and can't spend my time in the cafe. Implement a clear no-laptop policy if that's going to be a rule, don't just enforce it on the fly. It seems that rude staff is a pretty common experience based on other reviews. I understand it's a new business and it's probably stressful to work around barking dogs all day, but based on my past two experiences it seems like they prioritize dog owners and are sneering and looking at you weird if you don't bring a dog there and just want to hang out. Kind of like "a what are you doing here" vibe. Sad to say I won't be back because I love the dogs.

Came here for restaurant week. The kale salad was delicious, crispy and fresh and not too oily or salty. The trout salad was good too though it was a bit on the saltier side since it was cured. The entrees were ok. I ordered lasagna, it was a bit salty. I didn't taste any eggplants, mostly just squash. The fried chicken was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The Belgium waffle wasn't crispy. The deserts were good though. The pecan Sunday was delicious, although a bit too sweet. The cheesecake was delicious.

The brunch is finger-licking good. The must try is the French toast, it’s a whole experience. But the short-rib hash also gives it a run for its money. Even the salad was really yummy and fresh. It can get a little busy though, so be ready for that.

Buttermilk channel is one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn! Their pancakes are fantastic (and so is the jam). We also ordered the short rib hash, warm lamb salad and a side of bacon. All of which were delicious. The breakfast cocktails weren’t my favorite but I would absolutely visit again for the food and vibe!

Did brunch here on a busy Sunday. Was nice to see your place that is well run and able to serve a full house. Reservations look to be a really good idea on busy time is like Sunday brunch. The service was professional and friendly. Chicken sandwich tasted as good as it looked. Poached eggs were perfection. Pancakes were divine, the maple syrup was a sweet delight. And the fries, the fries! Don't forget to order some. Look forward to Dining there again when we visit family in Brooklyn.

Stepping into Buttermilk Channel Restaurant felt like stumbling upon a breakfast paradise, and their Chicken & Waffles and Pancakes sealed the deal for an authentic morning feast. The Chicken & Waffles were a revelation, with the chicken boasting a perfect crunch and the waffles a comforting canvas for the flavors. As for the pancakes, they were a testament to homey goodness, fluffy and delicious. The care they put into sourcing quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The cozy vibe of the place, combined with the friendly staff, made it a genuine, comforting experience. Buttermilk Channel Restaurant is where breakfast dreams come true, a spot I'd gladly revisit for a taste of their hearty, real-deal dishes.

Lovely place for brunch! The interior was very nicely decorated and there were great options to choose from for food. I got the chicken and waffles which was very tasty. It was light and crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside, would love to come back and try more dishes.

The place is very cute and the service is great. The walnut sticky bun was great, exactly what one would expect. The short rib hash had some interesting middle eastern spices, which gave it a unique flavor. The fried chicken sandwich is enormous, the chicken is so juicy and the coleslaw and pickles are nice to cut through the fattiness. The French toast was my favorite. It's very thick but soaked all the way through, the sauce is amazing, and the whipped cream is very good and just the right density/heaviness.

We had a great dinner at Bar Primi on the Bowery. There were a couple of surprises, but the experience overall was very positive. The Caesar salad was excellent. The romaine was whole leaf, super crisp, perfectly dressed, and full of flavor. Then I ordered the chicken piccata, which I assumed would come with noodles (or at least the option to add them), but they don’t allow substitutions. Still, the dish itself was delicious: the chicken was tender and the lemon-caper sauce was light but flavorful. It was a little salty and less lemon-y than I prefer. But still excellent. The service was absolutely impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and efficient, which really stood out. That said, the restaurant is extremely loud. We went upstairs which I hoped would be quieter but no… It was also very hot. It’s a lively, energetic atmosphere, but if you’re looking for a quiet meal or an easy conversation, this might not be the place. Overall, the food is thoughtful and well-prepared, the service is top-tier, and the setting is trendy—just don’t expect to customize your meal or chat easily over the table noise.

AMAZING!!!! Service is great! Food is great! The toasted bread with the whipped ricotta the nuts and the honey is phenomenal. Most of the pasta dishes are outstanding. Especially the squirting pasta. I get that every time I come here. The Branzino is off the chain!! Get the meatballs and Caesar salad salad also as a starter . The strawberry and chocolate dessert is in my favorite so I would opt in for the pistachio gelato, which is amazing. The tiramisu is pretty good too. Try the frozé next time you’re here. The canatelli pasta is also amazing. There is just one booth upstairs towards the bathroom where it does get a little hot. I don’t think the AC reaches over there. But other than that 5/5 stars.

My friend and I visited Bar Primi Bowery as walk-ins on Saturday, November 1, 2025, around 5-7pm and were seated at the bar. The food was absolutely amazing. Truly exceptional quality that showcases why this place has built such a strong reputation. The majority of the staff were attentive, warm, and professional, making us feel welcome despite not having a reservation. Our server was particularly wonderful, consistently checking on us throughout our meal and ensuring we had everything we needed. However, our experience took a significant turn when a female bartender began her shift (we didn’t see her when we were seated initially). She set up her station directly in front of us and proceeded to mix drinks with notably aggressive movements, slamming shakers and equipment loudly. At one point, liquid splattered onto me from her mixing. What was most concerning wasn’t the accident itself (these things can happen in a busy bar) but her delayed and dismissive response. When she finally apologized, her tone was curt and almost accusatory, as if we were somehow at fault for being seated where we were. We chose not to escalate the situation given how crowded the restaurant was, but this interaction genuinely dampened what should have been a wonderful evening. The contrast between her demeanor and the rest of the staff was striking and unfortunate. We hope this was simply a bad day and not related to any other factors, though we couldn’t help but wonder given the stark difference in how we were treated compared to her demeanor with other guests. To management: I hope you’ll review what happened during our visit on November 1st between 5-7pm. The food and ambiance at Bar Primi are too good to have guests feeling unwelcome. While I can’t speak to her intentions, the treatment we received left us questioning whether there was more to her attitude than just a bad day. I want to return for the incredible food, but I hope this feedback leads to some reflection on consistency in hospitality across your entire team.

Ultimately, a very decent meal, not mind-blowing pasta, but really great desert. The ravioli portions are super tiny. The squid ink pasta was great. The bolognese… I hope that wasn’t their best attempt. Strong statement, but trader joe’s does it better. Caesar salad was good, light on dressing for me. Also $20 for 9 pieces of lettuce with sauce and breadcrumbs? Not sure if that’s a deal. But it was tasty The dessert is where I think this place has real pizazz. Comfy seats, cozy atmosphere, waiters wear bow ties Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly

The pasta was fine basic spaghetti with tomato sauce and a few basil leaves but nothing memorable. I added grilled chicken for $9, and the portion that arrived was tiny, maybe a handful of small pieces. For a $35 meal, you’d expect something to round it out maybe a side salad, a piece of bread, or even a little garnish. Instead, it felt like a plain takeout portion that could’ve easily been half the price. The flavor was okay, but overall the value just isn’t there. Definitely not something I’d order again.

It was a great place with authentic fresh pasta and delicious appetizers for Sunday Brunch. Each of us ordered a different pasta dish and we got to taste every pasta that we ordered. We all concluded our favorite was the morning spaghetti (basically carbonara with a twist of how they made it). Other memorable dishes were burrata with honey and pulpos. The prosecco tower was really pretty and thirst quencher. The atmosphere and service were pretty good with outdoor seating if you like. We opted to sit inside for AC. We definitely want to try them again at dinner time with more pasta selection

Went for lunch during the weekend, a bit on the quieter end, but the service was 11/10 and the food was all fresh. Great ingredients and a nice spot to meet up with friends, solo or family. Loved the Cesar salad AND THE MEATBALLS delicious, they have an interesting breakfast section that I’d like to try next time.

The space is expansive, with beach-style seating reminiscent of a beer garden, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. I opted for the sampler to get a taste of everything, and my favorites were definitely the brisket and the rack of ribs. The ribs were incredibly tender, fall-off-the-bone, and packed with flavor, while the brisket was cooked to perfection--not too fatty, just right. On the other hand, the smoked turkey was a bit too dry for my taste, and the pulled pork was just okay. The smoked wings, however, were pretty solid. One downside is the limited selection of beverages and alcohol. :(

The brisket was fabulous. The brisket, pickles and bbq sauce in one bite was so good. Pastrami and ribs weren’t the greatest, but they were fine. The mustard served with the pastrami was really tasty. The only issue was it was NFL Sunday 1pm games and the line at the bar was very long. So we had to go elsewhere for drinks.

Cool, spacious spot with a beer-garden vibe and live country music that makes it a fun place to chill. I got the brisket platter with cornbread, mac and cheese, and potato salad. The brisket was tender with nice fatty bites solid flavor, just could’ve used a bit more tenderness on the non-fatty parts. The mac was creamy and smooth (not baked-style), and the potato salad had good flavor but wasn’t my favorite. The real standout was the cornbread, buttery, moist, and held together perfectly. Easily the best part of the meal. Good prices (about $32 for my meal) and solid BBQ sauces to pair with the brisket. Great spot for BBQ, brisket, and live music

Here for a party and enjoyed! Really good food. A big fan of the Mac and cheese as well as the arancini. Super big space with plenty of rooms. Outdoor seating too. Seems dog friendly!

Very good BBQ IN Queens, hopping joint serving BBQ cafeteria style in a warehouse and it works. Ribs had a nice smoke,very tender and flavorful. Very good brisket sandwich, Solid potato salad,purple slaw was devoured ,cornbread was moist and tasty, the fries with the sweet and spicy onions were excellent, but you can pass on the baked beans. The standout dish for me was the the Yankee red hot sausage with cherry pepper relish

I had my wife’s birthday party here and Pig Beach always goes above any beyond. The food was delicious and the staff was just as a good. Even the chef Stephen made a stop by our table! I was starstruck! I wanted to give a special shoutout to a man also named Steven who was very helpful to the overall experience. 10/10 a perfect experience.

This place is AMAZING!! Best place in the city to watch all sports year round and The best BBQ & Burgers in town! Make sure to try the brisket and don’t sleep on the Turkey! Oh and the Wings are INCREDIBLE!!!

Drinks were good and bartenders were very sweet. Had an unfortunately very bad interaction while using the bathroom band was threatened with physical violence by one of the male workers because of it. Very cute spot, but as a woman would not recommend. There are better bars with a nicer crowd in the area, and bedstuy locals do not go here.

This is one of those classic dive bars you love to find, exuding history and kitsch and vintage flourishes mixed with a kind crowd of regulars. The bartender who served us was chummy and garrulous, with an eye on his known clients who came ready to chat about life, sports, and the like. The cool Wisconsin Pilsner on tap was refreshing and potent, and we washed it down at a corner table surrounded by old antique glass, lights, and beer signs popping off the dark walls with a neon glaze. In every corner your eye wanders you find a spark of outsider art or conversation piece. We spied an outdoor back patio that called out for warmer moods. The brew was priced for sessions. Stop by.

This is a dive bar that attracts all sorts of folks from the neighborhood. Fun staff. Unpretentious.

My new favorite bar.... I wish I lived in NY! Our team was working in the park and this place was halfway home. They don't care what you wear and aren't weird about backpacks (we had tools and laptops to take home). Drinks are inexpensive, they have twisted tea (a colleague was searching everywhere for it), a decent wine selection and plenty of standard cocktails and beer. Love love love the decor! Dollar bills on the ceiling, poetry on the tables, skulls in the floor and vintage neon everywhere! It's like a hipster Cheers, but I'm a good way. Definitely have recommended it to my friends passing though and hope to be back soon!

Pine Box is what bars used to be! Locally owned, great drinks, even better music, unpretentious and a welcoming third space for people to hang! And they have a great frozen margarita -- perfect for summer.

An absolute gem! I celebrated my birthday here, and all my guests loved it. The back space is so nice and spacious, and they have equipment you need for karaoke. Coordinating with Jeff was also a breeze.

Went to this bar to kill time with a friend while waiting for my girlfriend. We are vegan so I thought this bar would be perfect to grab a bite and a drink. When we arrived, it was pretty dead with most people sitting outside and about 5 people at the bar. The bartender was pretty nice. When I realized there was no cellular service inside the establishment- they provided the WiFi no problem when I asked. But when I ordered food, they let me know that the only vegan option they had was a vegan cheese pizza. It took about 15 minutes to finish because they said the cheese was frozen and had to defrost. When it came out it was very lack luster.. it was like a frozen pie you bought from the supermarket. But the pickle back margarita I ordered was good. Here's why I probably won't return to this bar - I guess we came on "karaoke night". The guy hosting the karaoke came from the back of the bar and asked everyone at the bar ( which wasn’t many people - maybe about 5) BESIDES my friend and I if they wanted to participate. They all declined. So he left. Maybe 15 minutes later... he came out and AGAIN walks past my friend and I then asks everyone else. Which was very weird being that we were the only people of color at the bar. The energy I got at this bar was unwelcoming. But I feel like it has so much potential.

I HIGHLY recommend Pine Box! Management always ensures the highest levels of professionalism, safety, and rizz. Maya is a gem and a true professional, Mikey is as hardworking as he is attractive, and Tony is the definition of a gentleman and a scholar.

One of the best beer bars in Brooklyn. They have a great staff excellent selection of beers that are always rotating, and a fun friendly atmosphere. When the weather is nice the front patio is definitely the place to be.

Awesome place. Big comfortable bar out front, cool stage in back for comedy, music, game nights. Great non-alcohol menu for us teetotalers, booze for the rest. We will be back.

Great spot for trivia, comedy, bands and everything in between. Awesome bartenders and a well selected craft beer menu. Lots of seating and TV for sports (if that's your jam).

This place was funny lots of silly jokes around super fun aesthetic. Worker was nice and ice cream was good! I got birthday cake and it had sprinkles and birthday cake pieces in it, my friend got mint chunk (mint chocolate chunk" with gummy bears and it was also super creamy and delicious

Delicious and unique flavors, with generous portions. That cold brew cookie flavor was flavorful, but bread & roses won with our fam. Our pup loved the dog ice cream. There's some scarce seating outside, so it's not really a place to hang. Great add to the neighborhood and for dog owners.

Tonight I went to Ollie’s for the first time to try their vegan ice cream. I got 2 scoops of the Chocolate peanut butter brownie with vegan whip cream. The flavor was very rich and had a good amount of peanut butter throughout and small brownie chunks. Alora and Bella were friendly and super helpful! Alora answered all of my questions about the products! I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors.

The place is very small and cluttered. There were only two vegan options — the raspberry sorbet was overly sweet. Most customers seemed to go there more to chat with the server than for the ice cream, which made the service slower and the wait longer. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

Unique flavors and, of course, unique place. Really small but it makes the place feel cozier, love the colors and the idea and concept of this place… it is just so random and fun! Everywhere you see there’s something going on: a sticker, a painting… something.

We came later in evening and they only had 2 flavors! What a drag....we thought! We tried both flavors and they were so good and also vegan! Chocolate Peanut Butter and Cookie Butter. Oh what a treat! I even got sunglasses! 10/10 for Ollie's Icecream and their stuff!

First time here and will definitely be coming back! The girl with the pigtails was so sweet, nice and super helpful picking a flavor… key lime pie and banana pudding were chefs kiss! yummy yummy

In a dog friendly city, I wish there were more places like this to bring my dog. He really enjoys being outside with the other pups for Sunday brunch. The eggs benedict was great and the mimosas also amazing. This is a local spot that I keep going back to and they treat my dog really nice.

Nothing amazing, but a pretty good lunch, especially if you have kids with you. Something for everybody on the menu.

The servings are overgenerous -- more than even a glutton can eat. But the turkey was turkey loaf, not the real roasted authentic turkey, the cranberry "chutney" was canned regular cranberry sauce, and the vegetables were tasteless and over-salted. it all tasted like it was prepared in a central kitchen somewhere in an industrial park, trucked in frozen, and microwaved.

Good lunch, horrible dinner. Its a nice location, I guess, but they should really work on their recipes.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of those places that makes you stop and appreciate the city from a whole new angle. The views are incredible—looking out at the skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and of course the Brooklyn Bridge itself feels almost surreal. The park is beautifully designed, with plenty of spots to relax, walk, or just take it all in. It’s also easy to get around, with clear paths and different sections that each have their own charm. Brooklyn Bridge Park, an 85-acre “sustainable waterfront park”, is great for all ages. There are a lot of bathrooms, benches, walking trails, playgrounds, water/sprinkler areas, swings, slides, jungle gyms, and a ferry stop. They have soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, hand ball courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, public grilles and barbecue areas. At the end of some piers, you’ll find two sinks and a table to easily clean and pack whatever fish you catch. There’s even a sandy beach that allows you to walk to the water. There’s an area to roller skate or play roller hockey near the basketball, ping pong, pickleball courts. Each pier at the Brooklyn Bridge Park takes you into a different uniquely curated experience. It has winding trails, surrounded by trees. You can forget you’re in New York City. Then, you’ll make it out to the other side and be met with a beautiful view of Lower Manhattan. If you look just south of the city, you’ll see Governor’s Island and beyond that, the Statue of Liberty. In the other direction, you’ll see the Brooklyn Bridge and up to Midtown Manhattan, identified by the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings. If you’re purpose is to picnic and you want to bring take away, start at Pier 1. The Dumbo area, on the way to the entrance of the park, has pizza by the pie places and a Luke’s Lobster (and a ton of other options). Grab some food and head into the park. You can kayak here. They also hold public movie screenings and live music. The website for Brooklyn Bridge Park has everything you’ll need to plan your trip. Pier 6 is filled with trees, trails, playgrounds, and sitting areas. Between Pier 5 and 6 is the sand volley ball courts. Pier 5 is the soccer fields with a fishing area at the end of it. Between Pier and 5 and 3, you’ll find the barbecue peninsula and beach area. Pier 3 is another beautiful green space with trails, lawns, and benches. Pier 2 holds most of the courts and the roller rink. Pier 1 holds the largest lawn areas with gorgeous views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the city with a lot of green space and more walking trails.

Great little park just under the Brooklyn Bridge. Nice little running tracks and bike tracks next to the bridge with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. A must visit.

A nice elevated Mexican neighborhood restaurant in the crown heights / prospect heights area. As we walked in, this place immediately got a line out the door, it gets packed on the weekends! The food was solid. The Plato don Carne was quite good, the chicken imo was better than the steak. The enchiladas mariscos was okay. The shrimp and crabmeat were good. Salmon was an odd choice for a filling. Mole was standard mole, nothing too insane. The pozole was one of the better pozoles I’ve had. The ceviche was fresh and delicious! Salsas were fine and the guacamole was fresh. Overall, I think I would come back and try some different stuff.

Best part of the restaurant is the atmosphere, the negroni was a 10 but the labios rojos is a regular mezcalita, a basic drink just a beautiful presentation. The food was real basic mexican food, because of the fame I was expecting a little more. I give the food a 5. We had chilaquiles, tostadas, huarache, esquites and Plato don. Dont have any of them maybe other plates are better. We also had bread pudding it was a 4. Music was good and our server great!

My friend and I dine in with our kids and we had a great time. The food was amazing. The drinks were great. The atmosphere was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed our stay. Great neighborhood gem! I’ve visited here a few times for happy hour and the margaritas are strong. The food is really good and the overall ambiance is beautifully rustic. The decor feeds into the vibe which I really enjoyed. Some favorites were the steak and pork tacos, esquite and choco-flan! Amazing!

Great tacos and really lovely service at an affordable price. The space itself is really gorgeous and the staff was attentive and kind. Loved the food, especially their guacamole- it was citrusy, chunky, and packing a good punch. Loved the vegetarian options, though choices were a bit limited. The nopales con frijoles taco was great. Definitely would go back!

Corn tortillas were a little dry, flavors a little bland, horchata too sweet. I really liked their red salsa and would recommend trying their salsa trio! Service was just ok as our waitress had an amazingly positive attitude, but the hostess offered one group the bar to wait for their entire group to arrive while she blatantly told me I can’t be seated until my whole party arrives 🤔

Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write this gem a review. Chavela’s is such a Brooklyn treasure. We have never had a mediocre meal. Everything from the mainstays to the specials are delicious and made with heart. Their margaritas are also incredible. Highly recommend the mole. The service is always warm and friendly. Another plus is that the fun atmosphere could definitely warrant a more dressy date night, but many people also go completely casual and we have felt comfortable doing so as well. If there was only one restaurant I was able to recommend to a traveler to Brooklyn, it would be Chavela’s. Nothing compares!

We visited SottoVoce with a friend on Saturday night. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and taken to our table. Our friend had a bit of an issue and was delayed and the waitress was really accommodating about the delay and kept the drinks coming! Once our friend arrived we order appetisers; calamari, bruschetta and the meatballs. The calamari was a little underwhelming but the other 2 dishes were good. For main courses 2 of us ordered the seafood linguine (one in white sauce and one in red sauce) and my other half ordered the spaghetti rustici with chicken. My linguine in white sauce was a little under seasoned but the pasta was cooked well. My other half loved his spaghetti though, he actually said it was the best pasta dish he has had so far in NYC. For dessert we ordered the cannolis, pear tart and were also given a complimentary tiramisu. The pear tart was just ok (the ice cream it was served with was pretty grainy) but the other desserts were lovely. We ended the meal with espresso martinis, which were delicious and I highly recommend. All in all I would say our experience at SottoVoce was fairly mixed, with some dishes being a standout and others underwhelming., and I would give it 3.5 *s. The atmosphere is great, very homely feel, and the service was really good so I would revisit (but probably order a different main courses). Our total bill for 3 people (including pre dinner drinks, 3 bottles of wine, tax and tip) was $400, which we thought was pretty reasonable for what we had.

My sister and I are regulars here. This is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! We’ve tried many different dishes on the menu, and each one has been phenomenal! And, make sure you try their delicious homemade desserts!! Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience and service are bar none. This restaurant has the best manager there is! He always makes us feel right at home and his energy is contagious. He is so warm and welcoming and ensures that you have the best dining experience. We’d eat here daily if we could!

What an amazing experience loved it so much what an amazing end to our trip in New York , going back to Ireland, the waitresses where do friendly and quick to serve us and the music was perfectly nostalgic. Amazing vibe and would highly recommend to anyone unless of course you'd want to just eat your dinner in peace and quiet because this place is jumping (Which we loved). Also we heard Don McLean used to love this bar so that actually pushes it closer to a 6 star🤣. Good drinks cheap. A friend calls it a dive bar, but I call it a cool place to hang with friends or alone. It's not super loud, so you can hold a conversation, at the bar, in a booth, at the pool table, playing darts or a board game. Chill.

I've been here many times but never reviewed it. This is a wonderful bar in Williamsburg. The prices are very good. It is a clean bar. It is a big space. They have a Pool Table and free Twizzlers and Cheese Puffs. They have a few snack items for sale. I don't know how they are because I've never ate them. The atmosphere is laid back. The bartender yesterday was Justin who is very welcoming and friendly. All the bartenders I've met here are very nice. The music playing is Rock or Punk Rock but it's not loud. They also have a Jukebox. Neighborhood people come here but they are very welcoming to outsiders also. I highly recommend this bar.

So good we went there twice during our short NYC trip. Great selection of beers, quite cheap too. Tortilla with queso is heaven. They also give complimentary cheese puffs. Music is great and vibe is cool too. Our bartenders were always kind and friendly. They also have a pool table out in the back, as well as an arcade game (this one is pretty bad tho). Very rude bartender. He was verbally aggressive when we asked simple questions, overcharged us on drinks, and insulted us when we didn’t tip. My friend recorded because he was being hostile and she felt threatened, and he ended up kicking us out. Overall, a terrible experience.

The Levee is a great place to meet up with friends. The vibes are great but the happy hour is a little disappointing. They only have $1 off drinks. If you’re looking for a good happy hour I’d try somewhere else

What a lovely bridge to walk across. It takes about 30 minutes from end to end. You can see in the distance the Statue of Liberty and on the other side the Manhattan Bridge. At the end of this bridge, if you go to Dumbo, that's a really good place to also spend some time afterwards. Have some pizza, experience the market, and take some great shots of Manhattan Bridge and down under Brooklyn Bridge.

If you have to define this bridge in one word, it would be just beautiful. The pedestrian path to walk on this bridge from one end to other is a great experience. It’s always crowded with tourists but it’s a must do things to walk the bridge. It takes around 30 to 45 mins to cross the bridge with all the pictures clicking and viewing the city. The pictures taken from here are beautiful. Must do experience when you are in New York.

During our previous visit to NYC in 2015 to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday we only walked 1/2 way across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan and never went all the way over to explore Brooklyn, so on our return visit in Sep 2025 to celebrate her 60th birthday we decided to walk all the way across. Our journey started with a 15 min walk from our hotel on Lexington Ave down to Grand Central Station where we took the 6 subway train to the Brooklyn Bridge City Hall station. After exiting the subway we walked to the main entrance of the bridge on the East Side of City Hall Park to begin the 1.1 mile walk across to the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area of Brooklyn. When we arrived at the bridge at around 11:30am on a Friday morning there were many tourists on the Bridge taking pictures and walking up to the mid point of the bridge with fantastic views of the Statute of Liberty to the right, the Manhattan Bridge on the left and the Manhatten skyline behind. The pedestrian walkway on the bridge is built above the road crossing so we were walking above a steady stream of cars they were passed slowly underneath us due the heavy volume of traffic. Subway trains don't go across the Brooklyn Bridge, however, they do go across the nearby Manhattan Bridge, below the road crossing. We saw a number of locks attached to the metal frame of the bridge, which are left as "love locks", as symbols of romantic commitment. Apparently this practice started around 2009, whereby couples inscribed their names on padlocks, attached them to the bridge, and often threw the keys into the water to signify their love was "unbreakable". However, this tradition has led to safety concerns and damage to the bridge, causing the city to remove thousands of locks and fine people for adding them. Many people only walked up to the mid point of the bridge before walking back to Manhattan, however, we continued walking across to Brooklyn where there was noticeably less people on the bridge in this latter section. It was a beautiful sunny day during our walk, which we enjoyed very much, stopping often to take photos and admire the fantastic views from the bridge

What an experience! If you visit NYC, you absolutely have to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. The view from up there is amazing — you get a stunning perspective of the city, and you can even see the Statue of Liberty 🗽. There are plenty of fun things to see and do along the way, which makes the walk even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this iconic NYC experience!

Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is an absolute must-do when in New York. The bridge is a stunning architectural marvel with incredible, stylish towers. I’ve seen the Brooklyn Bridge in paintings, movies, TV shows—even on the black-and-white shower curtain hanging in my own bathroom. But to stand on it, to see it stretch across the East River in person… there’s something almost sacred about that moment. The bridge has watched over so much history since it opened in 1883—connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning generations, revolutions in architecture, and waves of change in New York itself. It was the first steel-wire suspension bridge ever built, and at the time, the longest in the world. Now, it’s an icon etched into the heart of the city and the people who walk it. Surprisingly, the best view isn’t at the Manhattan entrance. The most breathtaking moment is when you’re looking back from the Brooklyn side—skyline in the distance, the cables framing it all like a work of art. Getting there is part of the experience. Once you reach the District and Federal Courthouses, just follow the signs—or follow the crowd. They’ll lead you to one of the most unforgettable walks you can take in New York.

Cookshop has a great menu with plenty of variety! Great appetizers and main dishes. I personally had the center-cut pork chop… and it was one of the best pork chops I’ve had in a while. And equally good, I had the heirloom tomato salad. While the service lacked in speed… the food made up for it. Will be back.

Just had an awesome dinner here. While everything was great, the French fries stole the show of all things. And then the dark chocolate sorbet maybe tied. Also had the chills half lobster (as an app) and the Casarecce pasta. This wasn’t my first time here but it was my first time in a while that I’ve enjoyed French fries so much.

Cookshop in Chelsea is a great spot for brunch. The food was awesome. The huevos rancheros were some of the best we’ve ever had. I got the falafel pita, which was super tasty and a fun surprise to see on a brunch menu. The place was packed, so we had to grab seats at the bar. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The staff was really friendly and on top of everything. The menu looks kind of simple at first, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing, and what we had was seriously delicious. Also a solid choice if you’re going with a big group.

Cookshop in Chelsea was such a standout. The vibe is lively but easy, with a steady energy that feels both local and special. From the moment we walked in, Madison and Pierce at the front welcomed us with warmth and genuine kindness. They set the tone for the rest of the night. Edwin was fantastic with his recommendations, and Chef Luis came out personally to adjust my salad after I mentioned craving something like a Caesar. That level of attention is rare and made the whole experience feel personal and thoughtful. The focaccia with whipped ricotta was pillowy, warm, and perfectly salted. I absolutely loved the little gem lettuces and the grilled chicken breast, which was simple, juicy, and full of flavor. The corn was a big hit, and the roasted cauliflower was deeply caramelized and comforting. I didn’t love the tomato-braised Romano beans—they were a bit oily—and without me even asking, they took them off the bill. That gesture alone speaks volumes about the care this team puts into hospitality. I also asked for a surprise round of sauces, and they delivered a fun, creative little selection. Everyone we interacted with had a smile, and the whole evening felt easy and special. Cookshop is a place I’ll absolutely return to.

Amazing food, perfectly cooked and all taste incredibly fresh and well sourced. They also serve a warm and trendy vibe inside, with plenty of seats outside too for warmer nights. We ordered these incredible dishes over a three course meal: 🔥 Artichoke starters 🧆 Short rib terrine 🔥 Half chicken roast (!!!) 🍔 Burger 🍰 Chocolate Cake 🧀 Firm goats cheese The chicken was probably one of the juiciest, most tender and succulent roast chicken I have had in a very long time.

My wife and I visit this restaurant about three times a month, and we really appreciate the food, atmosphere, and drinks. The menu is fantastic, which keeps us coming back. However, we've noticed that the owner can be a bit sensitive when it comes to questions or changes to reservations, which we found a bit strange but humorous and harmless. Despite this, we enjoy our experiences here and remain loyal customers due to the great offerings.

Dining at Cebu was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The Thursday special—a tomahawk steak for two, complete with a bottle of wine, sides, and dessert—was an outstanding culinary experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every element of the meal was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The ambiance was just as impressive—elegant, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed yet refined evening. Service was attentive, professional, and warm throughout. A truly memorable experience that exceeded expectations. Cebu is a gem, and we can’t wait to return.

Neighborhood specialty which is a big deal is quiet Bay Ridge. Food was alright, just mid. Best thing was the Calamari which blew my socks off but the overpriced burger, pizza and egg plate tasted like something I could have whipped up at home with a pot and a spoon.

The food was very good. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely go back. It does get packed because all of the food was really good. I recommend make reservations ahead of time. Some of the pictures we ate the food already because it was that good. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture.

I was feeling nostalgic last night so I decided to go to bay ridge for dinner. Once there I realized I wasn’t very hungry & was unsure of what I wanted to eat. So I decided to go to a restaurant I remembered having small portions & a diverse menu “Cebu”. The menu options may have changed a bit but they still had a variety of options & there was a key at the bottom of the menu explaining 1or 2 letter code’s behind some of the dishes gluten free, vegan etc. I went with the lobster fettuccine & since I wasn’t very hungry I skipped the appetizer especially since they were listed as shareable & I didn’t want to take anything to go (since I wasn’t sure what I would end up doing after dinner). I sat at the bar & the food was decent. Even though the bartender was busy he was professional & courteous, checking if everything was good and if I needed anything. The one major drawback had to be when I washed my hands in the restroom which happened to be unisex. It wreaked of urine. I know it was the bar section of a rather large restaurant but that was totally unexpected. I didn’t enter the main dinning area so I can’t comment on that but in addition to seating at the bar they had several booths for seating in the bar area which was decorated with nostalgic pictures.

The ambiance was so nice, I would say the place was really loud for a Wednesday night. The lights were dim and they played pop music. It was fun to listen and enjoy the drinks. I had the lychee martini and it was spectacular. I came for their restaurant week menu and it was good. The service was great, everyone was so attentive. I loved their oysters and steak and fries. I will definitely come back again for the drinks and food.

I had such a wonderful experience dining here yesterday! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. On top of that, our server, Victoria, was outstanding. She was not only professional and attentive but also genuinely kind and helpful, which made the evening even more enjoyable. This restaurant is a true gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

Amazing area for BK Mag & Paramount to do Movies in the Park here all summer! Came to watch 3 movies here and they were all great. You get a free chair, popcorn and water or seltzer. Screen is massive so it’s easy to get comfortable and watch from all over the open area! It can get pretty crowded if you come around 7pm.

1st time visiting this park, it was worth the visit. Park has plenty of space to relax playground basketball court and tennis courts. Park is located in a busy area downtown so you'll have access to public transportation, eateries and many other establishments. You'll have access to plenty of benches and yes your 4 legged best friend is welcome. I drove here however I'm the day I visited which was a Saturday in early October parking wasn't difficult. Overall its a nice park to visit, people are minding their own business enjoying the day.

What a peaceful place! I discovered this park right after the NYC Marathon, and it was such a great surprise. During fall, it’s absolutely stunning — the colors, the atmosphere, everything! You can enjoy plenty of activities or simply relax outdoors. I definitely recommend visiting to unwind and recharge, whether on a weekend or during the week.

I’ve always loved Fort Greene Park for its peaceful green spaces, community vibe, and rich history—but this summer it’s been next-level thanks to the Paramount+ and Brooklyn Magazine Movie Nights! The event is completely free (yes, really!) and they treat you like VIP. After registering online, you get free popcorn, complimentary drinks, and—wait for it—a free branded lawn chair courtesy of Paramount+ that you can take home after the movie ends! 🍿🪑🥤 It’s such a thoughtful touch and makes the whole evening feel really special. The setup is smooth, the crowd is friendly, and there’s a real sense of local pride. I’ve been to a few of these nights now, and each time I walk away feeling grateful to live in a city that offers experiences like this. Fun in the park!! Be ready to climb. This park has a lot of hills. I saw a movie in the park and it was so much fun. I’m not sure if it was just this movie but we got there early and we got free beach style chairs curtesy of Paramount pictures. The staff that were there were super friendly. Made a huge difference in enjoyment. It’s small but spacious hard to get lost.

We went for a walk here with my daughter”s mini bull terrier, it was a great place to walk, both for people and pets, who can run and play off leash on certain times. it was quite educational for me, i learned that the spanish king put up a monument to honor the soldiers that fought for brooklyn.

This park is just lovely! The foliage is well kept, and the park is very large with running trails, plenty of grassy areas, and more!!

STAY AWAY! As far away as possible! While the view from our room was admittedly stunning, that's where the positives end entirely. From the moment we arrived, the experience was appalling. The staff was cold and unwelcoming—no warmth, no hospitality, just indifference. Within minutes of walking in to my room, I stepped on glass. Rather than rushing to help or showing any concern, the staff did absolutely nothing about it. This set the tone for our entire stay. We requested turndown service (i.e. to clean the glass), which was never provided. We were then outright lied to by staff about the restaurant's menu availability—we planned our evening around having access to the full menu, only to find out they'd serve only a limited selection. The spa, which was part of why we chose this hotel, was completely closed during our stay. No advance notice, no alternatives offered, nothing. Saturday night was supposed to feature a rooftop party, which was one of the highlights we'd been anticipating. They randomly decided to close the rooftop that evening—the weather was perfectly fine, so there was no legitimate reason. Just another promise broken and another disappointment. The pool experience was equally disastrous. Every single food and drink order was messed up. It took literal hours to finally get what we actually ordered. It genuinely felt like it was everyone's first day on the job. How does a luxury hotel operate with such a poorly trained staff? At checkout, we spoke with Alex, the manager, who made multiple promises about adjustments to our bill and other compensation to make things right and encourage us to give the hotel another chance. Not a single promise was kept. We never received any compensation whatsoever, despite spending an exorbitant amount—truly an arm and a leg—for what turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. For the premium price point of this property, the service, honesty, and basic safety standards should be impeccable. Instead, we got dishonesty, negligence, and broken promises from management. Save your money and book literally anywhere else. The view simply isn't worth it.

Completely unprofessional, insensitive and unacceptable behavior from a place that calls itself a “hospitality” business. ALL of the front desk, security employees & management that worked Saturday Oct 18, 2025 especially “manager” Mercedes, ruined what was supposed to be one of the most special nights of my life. I had just gotten engaged and only a few hours later around 8:30 PM, after spending thousands on a celebration, a few family members helped my fiancé and I bring gifts up to our room. Not even 10 minutes later, Mercedes came to our door claiming there was a “noise complaint” and said that because “other guests paid a lot of money to be here” she needed to call security and have us removed. One of their employees made a 70 year old woman in our family cry, and instead of showing any empathy, another employee LAUGHED at her for crying. Moments later, they forced all of us to vacate immediately or they would call the police, for absolutely no valid reason. We asked to speak to the general manager several times and refused to come speak with us and would not show any security footage for things they were claiming happened that NEVER did. The disrespect and lack of compassion shown that night was unreal. The staff made us feel humiliated and completely dismissed as if the money we spent and the reason we were there didn’t matter at all. This hotel clearly only cares about select guests and has zero understanding of what true hospitality means. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re celebrating something important. Shame on you all.

My wife and I stayed here twice once for our anniversary . The view near the Brooklyn Bridge and the new york skyline is great. The first time a bottle of wine was waiting for us when we returned from the rooftop pool. This rooftop has a bar that visitors not only guest of the hotel can enjoy. The pool area is for guest and we enjoyed it both times .the second time we were surprised with a bowl of fruit .the decor is really nice and comfortable with a indoor waterfall and the smell is a unique blend created and sold in the gift store in the lobby. In the rooms there is the same fragrance in the lotion and body wash and shampoo. We were also given a complimentary glass of wine In which we enjoyed outside in one of the restaurants on the first floor. One of the times I mistakenly broke a wine glass and brought it downstairs expecting to be charge but they were nice about it .

We stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge for our wedding, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Every detail — from the stunning views to the thoughtful touches in our room — made our stay unforgettable. The hospitality was truly top-tier, and the entire team made our wedding weekend feel extra special. We can’t thank them enough for making such an important moment in our lives even more memorable.

It's beautiful, it smells good, it's well located. Its natural, organic feel, with its distinctive scent, is interesting. I just think the accommodations are a little below standard. It could be more luxurious given what the hotel has to offer. It's very simple, with simple decor, in a minimalist style. But the beds are comfortable. The view from my room was of the Statue of Liberty in the distance. But the view from the terrace and the pool is fascinating. It's worth every second spent admiring it from there! It looks like a painting. The location is sensational, in one of the hottest spots in NY. You go downstairs and find bars, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, tours... everything is easy to get to for sightseeing around the city streets.

The rooftop has stunning views and a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, though drinks were average and overpriced. Service was excellent, and the DJ starting at 6 sets a lively party vibe. It’s a fun spot, especially for those who come for the view and energy.

Cool place with a great vibe and awesome beer selection. Definitely a neighborhood local spot, but we're pretty social people from Manhattan and didn't have any issues with rudeness like other reviewers.

A semi-hidden dive bar with a great craft beer selection. 20 rotating taps plus some cans. If you don't like beer don't worry, they have a full bar. The place is kind of small but with the indoor and outdoor seating options it's usually not a problem to get a table. On the plus side: bring your own food, and it's very dog friendly! The only minus is the $20 minimum for credit cards.

Super cool bar where dogs are allowed and the beer is awesome. Like the sibling Bar Great Harry and Owl Farm, dogs are encouraged inside here. The atmosphere is also awesome as it feels like the alcove to an old house or courtyard more than a bar. Of course there are also pinball machines here and the beer selection is vast, unique, and not too expensive. Love this bar.

Very hip bar with a casual but not divey atmosphere. Two pinball machines if you enjoy pinball. Nice beer selection on tap. There is a cool courtyard in the middle of the place which is interesting, but can be a drawback if it rains (you'd have to go through the open air courtyard from the sidewalk to get to the bar, which is enclosed, but you would get rained on on the way in).

This is a great spot to hit during a day crawl or when you're walking the dog and need a beer. They have a huge selection of suds and knowledgeable bartenders who always offer up a taste and a recommendation. Both outdoor alley-like seating and indoor seating available.

The staff at Bushwick Bark is awesome! Super friendly and helpful. I brought my puppy in to get groomed for the first time ever, and he came back to me fluffy, all trimmed up and looking more handsome than ever!

They got my 155 lbs malamute in for a last minute grooming appointment and did not disappoint. This is easily the best quality grooming I've seen in Brooklyn so far with a very reasonable price.

I have a 90lb German Shepherd/Husky mix, who is a nightmare to groom. It's usually over $120 to get him groomed in Brooklyn, and washing him at home is virtually impossible. Not only is it super affordable at Bushwick Bark, the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. They include everything you need in the self service dog wash station, and they take care of clean up. I got the dog washed, a professional nail clipping, and a HUGE bone (cow femur?) in under an hour, for around $50. Unbeatable. Will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you! *Edit: Here's my dog next to a burrito, for scale. All white, grooming nightmare.

I was there for the self service dog wash. On that front it's a big fail. You will invariably get yourself wet. To save my back I put him on that little bench - but immediately started to get water on my shoes. The other possibility would be to put him on the ground, sit on the bench - crouching down so I can reach him? - and, I don't know, put my feet up on the bench as well? How is this supposed to work? The employees had no idea either. They have warm water, a warm dryer, shampoo, towels, brushes etc. It was roughly $15. Otherwise: nice store, friendly employees. The single star is for the self service dog wash only.

We had such a great experience at Bushwick Bark! They were recommended by so many people to us for grooming and the end result was perfect! If you need a groomer, definitely come here - you won't regret it!

The play area is very spacious. My pup definitely loves it! But there is no water fountain, trash bin, or designated seating areas for humans. Close to farmers market and restaurants. Will definitely come back.

I really like to come to that park, one of the biggest i have to say. A lot of space for dogs to run and play. The dog run is in the park, and if you come before 9am, you can let them go free, its cool. Now they putted some hay on the ground and it looks good and not muddy. Always coming there.

My puppy Constitution absolutely LOVES McCarren Dog Park! He is finally all vaccinated and just had his first experience there earlier this week! I will be bringing him again tomorrow since I’m moving down the block in April! 🐶🐾💕🥹

We adopted a dog a few weeks ago and have already visited Mr. Friendly's twice. The first time a very nice staff member helped me find the type of food I was looking for. The second time one of the owners helped my dog calm down when he was scared of the construction noises on the street. Both times they gave my dog a little treat, and the owner explained the ingredients and how they benefit dog health. They have a very nice selection of treats and toys for cats and dogs, and are very pleasant and good at customer service. The owner also said he doesn't stock anything that he wouldn't give his own dog. Unfortunately his dog wasn't hanging out at the store when we visited, but maybe next time I will get to meet him and maybe my pup will make a friend!

Fantastic store with people who care and patiently walk through their experience and knowledge about feeding cats and dogs alike. They have a fantastic selection that they have chosen so intentionally and it truly is a superior experience to be in a store with people who are very knowledgeable and caring! Absolutely would recommend as a store with great products but also to nervous first time pet owners trying to do their best by their wonderful pet companions

Came here to get a Christmas gift for my dog and found this little monkey which releases chilling screams when pressed. Though its tormented cries haunt me, my dog is completely obsessed. She oscillates between vicious attacks and snuggling it lovingly in her sleep, but either way, it’s always by her side. Excellent recommendation, excellent shop, unique toys and very cute accessories that are made by hand on-site.

Quality pet foods and quality supplements, this place saved me after my cat was hospitalized and wasn’t getting better and vets had no real answers- they have holistic supplements that worked great on my kitty for uti and kidney health and perfect options for dogs and cats needing clean/ single protein diets.. Thank you Mr friendly!

What a gem of a pet store! Stopped in today to find a gift for my friend’s sweet pup and was impressed with the quality of products, the aesthetic of the space and the incredibly kind owner Eddie. I left feeling great about my purchases: in-house designed leash (his wife designs these), cutest NY cab squeaky toy and some lamb eat treats! Definitely will be back soon. 💕

Best pet store ever! I am so happy I live around the corner :) I walked in one day because my poor dog was having some stomach issues and the two super kind employees who were there took the time to explain specific food items to me that would be beneficial for her. They were also so loving to my dog. The pumpkin item and the goat's milk I purchased per their advice definitely helped my dog's stomach, so I am super appreciative of their expertise, wisdom and willingness to take time to explain products to pet owners. You can tell that they really care about and love animals.

The food came out quickly and hot, and everything we ordered was of excellent quality. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and inviting – a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal. One of the highlights for me was the wide variety of delicious vegan options available – it's not always easy to find such a thoughtful and tasty plant-based selection. Payment in cash took a bit longer to process, but it was handled smoothly in the end. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!

I ordered the standard burger at Bareburger NYC. The flavor was good, though it wasn’t as juicy as I was hoping for, and the bun was a bit drier than I would’ve liked. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh and the overall build was solid. The atmosphere is casual with a rustic vibe, and the staff were friendly. Prices lean higher than your average burger joint. They have a pretty good lunch deal Monday through Friday only from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Not sure where you buy all those fake ratings, but here’s a real one: avoid this place at all costs. For the price you would expect an edible burger but quite frankly it’s disgusting. Meat is dry while somehow dripping in oil, bun not toasted, sauce boring, cheese tasted like Swiss cheese or Gruyère but 100% not Gouda. To be fair: Sides were ok but boring, beer was good (what else), service average and probably used to customers who don’t like their burgers. Also, place was quite empty which should have been a warning sign. To the owners/franchise: you should rethink the concept and your recipes. It’s not that hard to make a good smash burger. There’s nothing ultimate about your ultimate smash burger. And stop buying fake reviews and misleading hopeful customers, we wasted our evening and money. One more thing: the music they played was actually really good! So there’s something they do right :) I was considering upgrading to 3 stars for atmosphere but nah, that would be a bit too much.

Very good range of options and very customisable burgers. Great gluten free range including fried pickles and fried chicken. All burgers are available with a gluten free bun. Would recommend.

My fiance and I stayed here from Sunday through Wednesday for a quick getaway. This hotel was great! Beautiful rooms with a stunning view of Manhattan. Our flight got in really early Sunday morning and they accommodated us which was very much appreciated. We were originally booked for the 7th floor, but due to the early check in accommodation we were moved to the 5th floor, room 510, which had an obstruction for part of the view. The room was clean, spacious, and the mini bar was the nicest I have ever seen. The staff were very helpful. The on-site restaurant Le Crocodile was phenomenal and a must visit for breakfast and dinner (even if you aren't staying at this hotel)! Bar Bloneau, the roof top bar had beautiful views and a nice small bites menu. The location of this hotel was great. Easy to get to shops and the subway. You don't have to leave this area, but if you want to it's very easy too. Our only complaint was no coffee or tea in the room. The front desk staff said this was due to a sustainably initiative however I have never seen such an elaborate mini bar set up before so I struggle to understand how that aligns. They offer coffee in the lobby from 5-7 am, but we didn't know about that until check out so we had to order the coffee from the restaurant at $5.00 a cup (regular coffee) every morning. For a 4-star hotel with the mid level prices of the rooms, complimentary coffee or tea is normally customary, but this won't stop us from coming back! DJ Mariko was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! She was super organized, detail-oriented, and always quick to respond during the planning process, which made things so easy for us. On the wedding day, she kept everything running smoothly as our MC — all the transitions felt effortless and stress-free. Once the dancing started, she read the room perfectly and kept the energy high the entire night. Our guests had an amazing time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. We’d happily recommend her to anyone looking to bring great vibes to their wedding!

The good: The Wythe hotel is such a beautiful hotel with so much charm. The staff are absolutely lovely. Their restaurant serves great food. I have had their brunch and dinner and it never disappoints. The views are stunning from the Manhattan view king. And the Brooklyn terrace room is super cute with so much rustic charm I absolutely loved it. I’m giving this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because unfortunately you can hear everything that’s going on in the hallways and outside of the building. The bad: This area can be very, very loud. There is an event space right next door that sometimes plays music until 1am or 2am. I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday for my wedding which was on (Saturday). Unfortunately, I did not get any sleep on Friday night (night before the wedding) because of how loud the music was at the event space next door. It sounded like my room was in the club itself. The Wythe charges too much money to allow this kind of noise to filter into their rooms. I hope that in the future they can come to an arrangement with the place next door. There are many rooftops in nyc that are not allowed to play loud music this late into the evening. The noise from inside the hotel should also not be heard in rooms this expensive either. I had 2 other rooms booked in this hotel and no matter what floor the guests were in or what side of hotel they were in they all complained that they felt like they themselves were in the club. Overall would I give this hotel another chance? Yes, absolutely. It seems like the noise level doesn’t happen every single night. Even though my coordinator also heard through word of mouth that the area there can be extremely loud. I hope I have better luck next time with the noise level.

We had a great stay! I want to give special appreciation for Nelida at the front desk! She made sure that literally everything we’ve needed and asked for was taken care of. She is super helpful and very nice on the phone and in person. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will for sure be coming back!

This is not (as advertised) a 5 star hotel. I went for a wedding, the bridal suit didn't have water. The bride had to shower in another room. The window blinds did not go all the way up without falling. A host of other problems. This wouldn't happen in a 5 star hotel

Food was amazing. The staff checked my temp before I was able to walk in. The menus were digital had to scan a code. The drinks and food were served on paper plates. And we were given our own bottle of hand sanitizer. The food was amazing. I am so happy with my experience. God bless the two servers and the kitchen staff serving during this time. Tuna tare tare tacos.. wow corn wow bouquet 75 drink delicious.

I remember that place when it was just an empty corner. Now it turn in to amazing outdoor dinning bar area. I love this place, especially because is dog friendly. Been there 2 years ago for nice brunch, some Benedict eggs if i remember and bloody merry yumm love love. This time, i went few days ago and i had a burger 12$ and it comes or with waffle fries or salad. Great place to eat with friend or even come alone like me be on swings and read a book while your dogs relax under the shade. 🐺🐺😍

I was very happy to visit for the first time yesterday. I didnt try any of the food here, so I have not rated it. I did see some burgers roll past that looked pretty good though... The music was a perfect mix of rock, metal and alternative. The bar is a large space and the sound system has that club feel. I was then very happy the games I played volumes were clearly loud enough to enjoy whilst still enjoying the music. I visited early in the afternoon so it was still relatively quiet, but all the patrons there were having a good time. Some enjoying a beer, some playing with their partners or group of friends. The bar stays open until 2am most nights and 4am on Friday and Saturday. Black Knight 2000 jammed the first time I tried it. I mentioned it to a nearby manager later. He immediately repaired the machine and returned my tokens to then enjoy the game a good few times after. I also saw Pulp Fiction have a playfield clean during my visit. Playing that machine was the highlight of my visit. I highly recommend Barcade, especially for pinball nuts like myself! I'll be going back later and this time enjoy a few beers with my games.

I discovered this place because a friend celebrated their birthday here and rented out part of the space. Honestly, it’s such a cool spot! The games are super vintage and fun to play, and surprisingly, the food is amazing too. It’s bar food, like burgers and wings, but it’s really tasty. The drinks were great as well, both the cocktails and the mocktails. I had a great time here. It’s definitely a fun place to hang out, and I would absolutely go again!

This bar was mentioned in our guide book as a place to visit and as a happy coincidence it was next to the second hotel we stayed in on our NYC trip. The bar is full of retro games machines. You play with tokens which you can get from a machine for cash (ATM on site). Huge range of craft beers and ciders from the east coast. The barman was friendly, made jokes about my being British and explaining the lagers first, and knew his beers. There was a great range of sour beers, IPAs Pilsners and ciders. There’s a good buzz about the place even though it wasn’t busy when visited (Monday afternoon!). We didn’t eat but the food looked good. Worth a visit for something a little different. Definitely if you like arcade games and pinball. Was a great recommendation.

I had an amazing time at Barcade! A friend recommended this place, and it honestly turned into one of my best days in New York. I got to play so many classic games like Pac-Man, Crazy Taxi, Tetris, and a few racing games the selection is fantastic and brought back so much nostalgia. What I loved most is that it’s not just about the games; they also serve great drinks and snacks. I ordered a burger along with a drink called the Jungle Bird, and both were delicious. The food filled me up perfectly, and then I could relax before jumping back into the games. The atmosphere is super fun, with good music and a lively vibe. It’s a perfect spot to hang out with friends, enjoy some drinks, and relive arcade classics. I highly recommend Barcade to anyone in New York whether you’re into retro games, looking for a fun night out, or just want to try something different. Definitely worth the visit!

Super cool bar with pinball machines & arcade games. Large selection of beers & cocktails, and we enjoyed our burgers. Bathrooms could do with painting but maybe the graffiti is part of the appeal idk.

My friend and I got tickets to see the show Bunny Bunny on a Friday. Unfortunately we arrived 10 minutes late and found the front door locked with nobody at the entrance. We couldn’t contact anyone either since there’s no customer service phone numbers or emails… I wish the venue was more explicit about locking people out if they arrived late so we would’ve been aware. It didn’t say on the website or confirmation anything about denying late entry. We’re trying to contact the venue to get a refund for our tickets but are having no luck reaching anyone. Definitely wary about this place now.

Free art gallery in Brooklyn with rotating exhibits and a backyard with seating. They do take donations for the visit. Super kind staff. It’s very quiet. Only open Thursday - Sunday! They do host events throughout the year (list is on the website) it’s relatively small and you could see everything in 30 minutes.

Excellent venue for top notch art for art’s sake.

My wife took part a a vendor at the FAD market that takes place there on December. The space is really cool and has a great vibe to it, the building itself is charged with the old Brooklyn charm. If your are invited to an event there go it most likely will be worth your time.

I have never been to such a cool art gallery/event space. I was here with my husband for the Slow Cook Food Party and it was a wonderful event. The gallery is spacious and perfect for having a private party. I am not a fine arts expert but the art pieces here are very unique and interesting. Would love to come back to see more artwork one day.

This place was very charming and cozy! Watching the dogs enjoy brunch alongside their owners was such a sweet and unique experience. The food itself was delicious we really enjoyed our meals. However, the orange juice portions were surprisingly small (think child-sized cups), and the prices were definitely on the higher side. We ordered two brunch plates, one pancake order, and a small dog plate for our pup, and the total came out to $125 before tip. We added a 25% tip because our server was incredibly kind and attentive. Overall, it was a lovely outing, but just be prepared for the price tag.

What an adorable place! There’s a cafe, retail shop and a sit down restaurant all in one spot. There’s cafe in the middle has the most affordable prices. However it took about 45 min for me to get my food because I think the guy forgot about it. It’s definitely a doggie heaven and they have all kinds of dog treats. They also have a space in the restaurant that looks like you can have dog birthday parties there too. Definitely worth checking out if you love dogs!

What a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our group, as we celebrated our dog Olivia’s 10th birthday with a delicious brunch this past weekend at Chateau le Woof! The pancakes (for us and the dogs!) and the huevos rancheros were fantastic, and the service was excellent! Yummy treats for people and doggos alike, we felt like VIPs. Many thanks to everyone at Chateau le Woof for helping our Chocolate Labbie to a very special time. We think this little gem in Astoria is great!

The nicest employeeees!!! Love this location, and there is ample seating indoors and out. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I get off the Astoria ferry. Very close to ferry, and right across the street from park.

This place is quite simply our favorite place in Astoria. The coffee is impeccable both in taste and aesthetics. The dog friendliness is unmatched. The culture and vibe of the staff is incredible. There is a real community feeling to this space. We live about 20 mins away and we come here almost every weekend with our dog. The food is also really really good and it's a great place for all three meals. I'm not sure how they did it but they have managed to really kill it in terms of the optimal restaurant experience for the community.

The Soho Grand Hotel is such a beautiful place with a classic, old-fashioned style theme. The diner was also nice, and the food was delicious. I love that the diner is quiet and you can stay in there for a while to do some work. I loved the wall of photos of famous people from old movies, which gave the hotel so much character. You will also find old fashion phones, lamps, curtains, and things like that around the hotel. The conference room was spacious and well-kept, It was perfect for a meeting and gathering I had. The staff were also very nice and friendly. The rooms were elegant, and are a nice size. I been to a lot or hotel stay and this one is my new favorite hotel to stay in the city. Also, it is pricey per night but you will get good service and nice room.

We had a lovely stay here! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Special shout out to the bellmen in general and to Kiialoni in particular for making the hotel feel like home during our stay. They made all the difference. And to the housekeeping staff- awesome job. Can't wait to return!

Location is outstanding and there are very few hotels in the area, so it really is hard to beat if you wanna be right in the mix of things in Soho. BUT prepare for major concessions. The service is absolutely terrible, food and drink is so so, and the whole hotel is very dark and gloomy with some very odd decor choices that just throw everything off and make the overal theme look a bit cheap. We started off in the basic king (which is surprisingly spacious for a NYC hotel room and had a decent view but no curtains to block out the light 🌅). and then moved up to the penthouse (Lofts) for 2 days (the service was no better in the Penthouse despite that our family was hosting a wedding in the hotel and spending quite a lot of money). If you order anything to the room expect it to take at least 2 hours or expect it will never come at all. The bathrooms, like all of the hotel's main areas are exceptionally dark and it's hard to acclimate to it (forget trying to do your makeup and hair you simply can't see). The second bedroom in the penthouse is very poorly laid out with little space to put your things and no privacy when going to the bathroom because it is detached. The lofts did have blackout shades in the bedrooms which was really nice because the sun and city lights does make the bedroom the brightest place to be. The views from the lofts are really fabulous. None of us could sit and enjoy them because the sprinklers go off everyday and soak the furniture outside. The rooms are very noisy so bring earplugs, you can hear the traffic noise very clearly all night - even on the top floor. I'm not sure if you can hear the nightclub on the second floor. But I imagine if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor or on a Friday or Saturday you probably can... So bare that in mind if you are looking for rest. All in all I wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel other than for location. The pricetag doesn't match the quality of the hotel or the service.

Stayed here on a Monday night in June. Had a room with one queen bed, covered by a company I was interviewing with on Tuesday. Was able to leave my luggage with the doorman Tuesday morning after checking out. The check-in desk is on the second floor and it was a bit annoying to get there with luggage when I got to the hotel Monday evening. There was some work going on, on my floor outside my room, so definitely wasn't a fully quiet evening. They have a gym so I was able to get an indoor ride workout between two full days of interviews. The staff were nice but I would say, not as much as some of the other hotels I stayed at during my trip to NYC, Chicago, Miami. I really liked the antique decor of the work-desk inside my room. No good views from my room (photo included with review).

I was really expecting this to be a top hotel in NYC. Instead it was very mediocre and quite disappointing. We have a 3 month old and the front doormen rarely helped us open the front door to get into the hotel. Instead they would help other guests without baby carriages and just stare at us struggling to get in. Additionally, we found a bra in one of the hotel elevators. I thought that this was supposed to be a classy hotel. Definitely not a great hotel for families. Not worth the money.

Had a lovely stay, location is wonderful but loud even at night. The rooms are pretty big for NY and very well maintained. The staff is nice and helpful, special thanks to Nelson for helping us getting to JFK despite the chaos with the floods.

I love the unique display structure and curation at McNally Jackson Books SoHo. Each themed section has a table in front of the shelves, where staff-selected titles are thoughtfully showcased—naturally drawing your attention before you even browse the shelves behind them. There are also seats where you can sit and read, and the sleek interior design along with the multi-level layout adds to the store’s distinctive atmosphere. They also carry some truly unique titles, like collections of messages left by museum visitors or heartfelt flyers searching for lost cats—books that are as fun to explore as they are unexpected.

I cannot remember the last time I walked into a bookstore and I sensed the feel of a true community. Neighbors and new acquaintances were chatting, employees were buzzing about helping customers, and everyone just seemed content. This McNally Jackson store has some magic that needs to bottled up and shared with their other stores. Even after I picked up the half dozen books I sought after, I hung around chatting and perusing my many wonderful options. Visit for perfectly curated collections. Stay for the vibes.

This is a nice bookstore for buying new books. Under competitive pressure many sellers of new books tend to have a very homogenous selection. McNally manages to have a much better selection than many non-secondhand sellers, and I can't exactly explain how they do it. The store's interior is lovely; if you love books, you'll want to spend some time here.

I like coming into this bookstore, they always have the best fictions as soon as you walk in so you can get in and out quickly although I never do - I always leave with a new book. I’m happy but my wallet is not. 😊

Not only does this bookstore offer an incredible variety, but the staff are always welcoming, helpful, and attentive in keeping the shelves updated with the latest titles. What makes it even more special is that they stand on the right side of humanity. As a Palestinian and as a human with a moral conscience, it brings me so much joy to see them support a country that is suffering by highlighting its books and stories. This is more than just a bookstore - It’s a place with values. From now on, this will be the only place I buy my books.

A perfect neighborhood bar in Williamsburg. Great draft selection, solid bar food and nice interior. The only potential improvement (hoping a manager sees this) is that the draft lines could be 2 degrees colder 🤞

Had a nice afternoon at this pub - supposedly pretty famous if I believed what my partner tells me. The service was nice and quick - sitting at the bar had a pint of October Festbier, the disco tots and a Caesar salad with shrimp. The food was great. Large portions wirh high quality. The grilled shrimp with the salad was expertly spiced and still warm from the grill! Tots overflowing with cheese and large mushrooms. Would definitely come back for the food and vibes. Recommended.

A buzzing dive bar with inside and outside seating. We preferred the inside. Good portions. Draft and canned/bottled beer , spirits, amari and frenets. Inside has a lovely tile floor and wooden ambiance. To sample the in-house sauces.

Teddy’s brunch delivers! You could wait in line for brunch eggs or just go to Teddy’s. Just letting you know you do have options.

Great place to stop for some very tasty pub food.. inside and outside seating..... We had a burger and a chicken sandwich, both were very tasty. Steak fries were awesome too.. Frozen strawberry lemonade was very tasty. Service was excellent. A great stop prior to a show at the music Hall of Williamsburg.

The salad was amazing and the Mac and cheese was saucy and delicious. We added bacon on ours and it added a nice salty crunch. Large enough portions for two to share or one to enjoy and have some for later.

I have been using these dog shoes since last Summer. They are so fun and practical; that I want every single color for my pup. The shoes have been great when we have needed them in places that are extremely hot- think Miami in July or the beach. We always keep them in the car because they work out perfectly for us on the go; when we have to walk on the city sidewalks and there is broken glass. We have had customer service help us with numerous issues (shipping, sizing, etc..) and they have been so kind. Thank you.

Amazing company and great products. They stay on they don’t slide off Sheba is a 70lb gsd with big paws i got her a large which is a little snug but goes on easy. It’s perfect for her when her feet get wet her foot doesn’t slide around and make any sore spots. 🫶🏼❤️

Love my dog's wag wellies! They are so fun, we always get compliments and questions. We live in central Texas so it gets hot 🥵 here. They are so comfortable for him and he took to them so easily. Love the fun colors too!

My service dog is a large boned golden retriever. She runs hot, always. These shoes are so flexible, lightweight and breathable. I don’t have to worry about her paws burning on the concrete or her not being able to dissipate heat through her paws in a non breathable shoe. She’s 65lbs and the XL fit her great.

Live in Arizona where the ground gets super hot. I always wanna make sure my dogs paws are protected. Love the Wagwear shoes. Everywhere I go people compliment her pink shoes.

My dog was fitted for boots to protect her feet when she's scrambling on hikes off road with us. We got personalized attention, friendly service and the boots we purchased happened to be on special too! Bargain! This store is highly recommended.

They used to have a dart board where my friends & I used to play darts while drinking, but unfortunately they renovated, although the place has more seating now. And the place still has that classic bar atmosphere that you expect.

Good times at Fancy Free! After I sat down at least 3 servers asked within 5 minutes if I needed anything. They are very aware and very friendly. The deviled eggs were delicious , slightly smoky , slightly spicy and including a crunch of fried onions! The chicken empanadas were tasty as well. The prices here are very reasonable and the vibe is good!

My friends & I came here for trivia. There were no open tables or enough bar stools available inside when we arrived. A very generous employee offered to go retrieve us an extra bar stool from another restaurant down the block & brought it to us! Really kind gesture & good service. I had the grilled cheese & tomato soup & it was excellent. We would happily return again.

Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was pretty unfortunate and the reason this is 3 stars. My wife ordered the tortilla soup and it was indisputably, irrefutably, undeniably just tomatoes bisque with tortilla chips tossed in. The menu listed it with all the add-ons that you'd expect like jalapenos, corn, cilantro etc and this had none of them... Just regular tomato bisque with some tortilla chips on top. We asked them to rectify it, and we got a hand-wavey nonsensical response and they brought us a cup of pickled jalapenos. So congrats to us I guess.... We got tomato bisque and jalapenos lol. The chicken sandwich was decent but my "fries" were ENTIRELY just the burnt dregs of the frozen bag from cisqo. You know what I mean... A whole plate of half-inch stubs and dried up brown pieces. Not a single fry with the structural integrity to hold sauce and all tasting like spent oil. I genuinely liked the place and the drinks but the food isn't happening. Might actually be some good food hiding back there in terms of ingredients, but the prep and discernment in what gets plated is definitely NOT there yet.

I was genuinely looking forward to afternoon tea at the Crosby Bar, but unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations. The sandwiches were all dried out, lacking both freshness and flavor. The selection of sweets also seemed past their best—definitely not freshly made. While the scones were passable and the tea itself was just okay, it's hard to overlook the fact that the cup and saucer were dusty, which really detracted from the overall experience. Service was decent, but nothing particularly attentive or memorable—and certainly not reflective of the price point. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. Afternoon tea should feel like a treat, but this experience missed the mark.

One of the prettiest and coziest places I’ve ever been to. First of all, host staff was amazing, we had to update our reservation for afternoon tea multiple times and ended up showing up early and they were still understanding, welcoming and gracious. From the moment we walked in, everything was just beautiful! Roman was our server and he was super on point, his teammates were all ready to assist and we had someone come by to just check in to make sure everything was going well. Pastries were decadent, sandwiches - fresh and filling and the scones were THE BEST! The selection of tea was nice and we were able to get more hot water. Definitely will be back when in the city.

Had Brunch on a weekend. Good food, attentive service and beautiful place with lots of charm. The Yogurt and Granola Bowl was perfect with crisp granola and fresh fruit.

The Crosby Bar serves up a great tea. This opportunity will expand your concept of what a meal can be. The china is custom made by the restaurant owners. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. If you need the restroom, plan to go to the basement and through several heavy doors. When you get there, the facilities are very nice. If you need something more, be sure to ask. Tea food served in an attractive three deck stand. Each tea served in its own pot.

A perfect place for a nice cocktail date if you want to feel cute and dressy. Even if the place is relaxed the vibe is elevated quirky. All cocktails are $22, and the selection is great. Raspberry Clover Club was top notch! Also they have amazing fries. To find bathroom is a quest with many doors to pass but it adds to the experience:)) We came around 9 on Saturday night (with a reservation) and the place was full.

I came with two girlfriends for the Afternoon Tea service on a Saturday afternoon. The space is beautiful - colorful, airy, and bright. The decor is thoughtful, with the design touching everything from wallpaper to dinnerware. Service was warm and welcoming. With the set, you are also able to opt for iced coffee and lattes if that is preferred over tea. I was unfortunately disappointed with the tea service items. Sandwiches had dry bread and uninspiring fillings (cucumber, dill, creamed feta one especially, cucumbers were strangely lightly pickled so it tasted like eating a pickle sandwich) and scones were also dry. The breakfast/lunch items people ordered around us looked more appetizing. For $75, I would have preferred to have a nice brunch with drinks.

Big space. Lots of different whiskeys. They have other liquor as well and a good beer selection. The bartender was helpful and nice. The prices are very good. Cocktails are good. I didn't have any food so I can't rate it.

Part sports bar part whiskey bar. Good haunt for any whiskey lovers as they have numerous cocktails focused on them and boy they are sure strong. Did not expect a rowdy bar though, as there is a sports bar down the block; a lot of sport fans and a contrasting atmosphere of what to expect as a “whiskey bar”.

The description mentions food but note that this place doesn’t serve any kind of food!! But they let you bring food in or order delivery to the bar. Will definitely be back!

Good beer and whisky. Aperol spritz was ok. Wasn’t very busy on Friday around 9, but started getting busier later around 10:30.

My parents were visiting from out of town. They prefer chill bars with beer over nice cocktail lounges. I checked google and found The Gibson. It was truly awful. We walked in and the place reeked of wet dog. We waited to see if we should be seated or have someone seat us. Not a single person acknowledged our presence- mind you, the place was not busy at all. There were maybe six other people inside. We looked to seat ourselves a dog started barking very very loudly. Then there was another dog that got all riled up because the first dog was barking- explains the overwhelming smell of wet dog. I don’t drink beer so I wasn’t sure were else to take my parents. My dad went to order a drink at the bar. He waited at the bar for over five minutes without a single employee acknowledging him. My parents are very nice pleasant people. I’m a nice pleasant person who works in the service industry. We never spoke to a single person who works there in the fifteen minutes we were there. We got dirty looks and eye rolling from the other patrons when they heard me say it smelled like wet dog and never got acknowledged by a single employee. I asked a friend where we should go that was a chill atmosphere with beer and they recommended Skinny Dennis. We went to SD and had a really great time. The employees were very nice, the vibe was fun, the band was great, the other patrons were (New York) friendly. The Gibson is tragic. It’s a bar for living breathing walking memes of people who live in Williamsburg circa 2011. And it smells.

First time trying a Bloody Mary was here and oh, boy! It really put the standard up there for every other place with a bloody Mary! 🍹 The staff is super friendly, very helpful when asking for recommendations, even when it's busy they take care of you! I really, really love this place ✨

I visit new breweries whenever I can and decided to pay a visit to Five Boroughs during my stay in New York. The brewery has a single indoor space with no separation. No food is present except bagged snacks. They have a table with boardgames and a small area for kids to play. It felt like the area is not insulated well as it was pretty chilly inside. The beers are just OK. Nothing more. They are not bad, but also they do not add anything new to the craft beer scene. The tap list is heavy in IPAs and has several European options as well. You can order a beer flight of 5 to try multiple beers. I was not impressed by any of my choices. If you do not search for craft beers, they should be fine - the beers are really safe and generic. This is a nice place to hang out with your friends, but if you're looking for anything new in the beer styles - you might want to look elsewhere.

I discovered Five Boroughs Brewing during a walk in the neighborhood of Sunset Park. I veered off my normal path saw some folks hanging out outside of a well lit place and went in to check it out. The weekend vibe in this establishment is very professional and casual at the same time. The taproom was absolutely spotless and filled with patrons enjoying themselves. I was there to late to take a brewery tour, but got the chance to try a few different beers. Overall I found this to be a great place to grab a drink and hangout with good company. They dont have much in terms of bar snacks, but you are encouraged to order or bring your own food. Totally looking forward to returning soon.

As a fan of Craft Beer it was great to be able to visit Five Boroughs Brewing Co on a visit to to Brooklyn in June 2019. Brooklyn has a number of excellent established and upcoming Breweries and well worth a visit. We’d been to the Brooklyn Brewery a few years ago so when we stayed in Fort Greene it was good to see what other breweries we could visit we hadn’t before. Five Boroughs looked to have a good Tap Room along with a good selection of beers. We visited on a Saturday late afternoon and the Brewery was lively and looked to be busy with both locals and visitors. The Tap Room is spacious with plenty of seating and light from the large windows at the front. There is a good selection of beers on tap, I particularly liked the United by Beer. The staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit and we’ll be back next time we’re that way.

Large tap room and a 30-barrel brewing facility located in an old steel factory. 12 house-brewed beers on tap, served as a full or half pour to stay, and in growlers to go. Prices starting at $5. Complete with an elevated stage for live performances and a gift shop. Oh and it's dog friendly!

Came here on a Thursday night to play games and try their beers. I didn't realize they close by 10pm on Thursdays so we only got about 90 minutes of playing/drinking time. I got their beer flight: 5 - 5oz pours for $14. Pretty good deal. Their shandy was absolutely delicious: crisp and refreshing. I could drink a gallon of it and not be sorry. LoL. Their game selections are on point also. The pieces are a bit sticky but what do you expect from board games at a bar? I guess my point of contention, and the reason this place only gets 3 stars is the service. It was not a busy night at all. I'd say there were 10 people there, plus our group of 5. The bartender couldn't be arsed to walk away from his conversation to serve me. I stood there, at the bar, money in my hand, for an uncomfortable amount of time, just staring at the bartender and at the beer taps as he talked to his friend. I get that you must be engrossed in such an interesting conversation but you're there to work Mr. Bartender, not hang out with your friends. You can easily serve me my drinks and then go right back to hanging out with your friend. I've read in other reviews that the service here isn't great and I just lay witness to it. It's a shame because the beers are great. The prices are reasonable and the space itself is beautiful. I feel like I'd come back here again just for the beers but I won't be expecting to be blown away by 5 star service.

Great beer, friendly staff, reasonably priced, lots of seating, board games, very cool space. Overall a great addition to the neighborhood!
