This place is great! Very interesting and unique whiskies and good beer as well. The location is a bit out of the way in a somewhat industrial area, but laughing monk is also next door and they usually have food trucks outside to accommodate. They offer whiskey tastings and flights. Dog friendly and a large and spacious venue.

August 2018: Ran a City 🍺 Run on 8/12/18. Great hosts serving great 🍺. The 8# was great. I read that 7S tweaked the recipe. 😀 Definitely like the tweaks. May 2018: Great place to hang out and enjoy 7S 🍺. First time trying a Brut IPA. Lots of cans to go. Definitely will come back.

Great neighborhood brewery putting some good used to this old industrial place. Lots of indoor seating and a few sidewalk picnic tables too. Looks like they can pack the house but on this Sun evening was quite mellow. Half a dozen beers on tap and a variety of spirits to try. Come on in and enjoy a pint.

Unique mix of a brewery and distillery, and willing to experiment with their direction. Clever labeling (including sharp teku glassware). Great pairing with Laughing Monk, their neighbor.

Amazing and informative stop if you are into distilled spirits (Whiskey and Vodka, etc.). Local food outside sometimes. Otherwise all about the tasting.

Beers here were just decent. The artwork was pretty original and I liked the general vibe, but overall, not much here that sets it apart from the other numerous breweries in CA. I cannot comment on the distillery portion, but I’m willing to come back for a flight of spirits.

Great spot for some unique cocktails! Found this place on our way back from the dog park. We tried their spin on a gin bloody and they were delicious!

We had one of the most unique tasting experiences here. Gordon is very nice and truly give you a one on one experience as well as allows you to take your time to enjoy each liquor. The cute little snack and water offer a perfect palate cleanser. The cocktails are all unique and allow you to real enjoy the each ingredient. This isn't a place to get a rum and coke, this is an experiential destination. The only reason it is not 5 stars in it being out on Treasure Island, we arrived easily but trying to walk around there is so much construction that we couldn't really walk around easily. But if you have a car definitely make the trip over.

Amazing service from Xavier! Some of the best gin we have ever tasted, and the chocolate bourbon is a dream!! Try the Trees Knees and Ginger Whisky Smash cocktails…delicious. Don’t miss out on this gem if you are visiting San Francisco!!

The owners, Gordon and Ian, are amazing, friendly, very knowledgeable, genuinely down to earth, nice guys. Enjoy an afternoon sipping on one of Ian's Amazing Refreshing Delicious mixed drinks while listening to music n relaxing with friends or try the flight of assorted tastefully hand crafted liquors. They are aways experimenting, to perfection, crafting new flavors, my favorite is the Earl Grey Gin, thou I do like the whiskey too..enjoy.

Amazing experience. Must visit spot in SF. I'm not a big fan of hard liquor, but I was trying to expand my palate and find things do around SF. I saw this place popup on an AD and bookmarked for the next visit. One weekend morning when I decided to get some brunch at Mersea, I remembered about this place. It was right around the corner from the Mersea and I figured I would stop by and check it out. It was a small unassuming place by the road with a few chairs and tasting table setup outside. The place looked cute and cozy. I tried their various gin, bourbon, and whiskey along with the explanations. The server was busy with other tasks, but he was very attentive throughout the tasting, checking often and letting me try everything. My absolute favorite was the chocolate bourbon. It sounded terrible at first, but the product is amazing. It's not at all sweet and not too overwhelmingly chocolaty. Just a little hint of Dandelion chocolate goes so well with the bourbon. It's so smooth and fragrant that you can drink it straight. I brought a bottle as a gift to my family overseas and it was such a big hit. I wish I had bought more. It's such a uniquely SF and non-commercialized experience. I would definitely recommend visiting the distillery and buying a few bottles of the chocolate bourbon.

I really hate gin and never thought I would change my mind about it. This hibiscus lavender caught my attention 3 months ago, when I went for a fundraiser in SF and I kept looking for it. I loat the business card of the owners and finally I remember the name of the distillery. I opened a bar now and looking forward to carry this itfine alcohol and introduce it to our Redwood City residents . This gin tastes very good and I hope I ll get to visit the distillery soon .

Tour is both very interesting and super laid back and fun. We had a great time with Jason. We got to drink beer as we walked around and then tasted a bunch at the end. Would definitely do this again.

One of the best things to do in this city if you are a beer lover. The tour was fantastic! And our tour guide (Mike) was very knowledgeable. For the price, it couldn't be a better deal to learn some history of one of the oldest craft breweries in the United States and get to sample some of the great beers!

Our tour guide Pedro was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and clearly had a love for all things Anchor brewing. The group size wasn't to big and felt personal. I also loved that you could try all the brews at the end. A great all round experience.

Great brewery tour - historically informative, neat building, and plenty of samples. The best part: open bar access to their entire (15+) range of beers, including experimental options not yet on the market. Fairly priced merch. Neat collection of all of their annual Christmas beers.

Went here for my birthday with my wife. The staff here is very friendly. They walked us through all the different varieties of beer and got us to try quite a few of them. I ended u buying the 12 pk variety and 4 crowlers. Will highly recommend checking out this brewery.

Took the brewery tour and was very impressed. Our tour guide, Philip, was very knowledgeable and the tour was super fun. Beyond seeing the facility and learning how Anchor produces its beer, we got to learn a lot about the history of the company and the city of San Francisco. At the beginning of the tour you get a ~10 oz beer and at the end you can try 11 of their brews, including their current beers in experimentation. Definitely worth going whether you’re a local or visitor to SF!

We got drinks and food here. The foods are provided different company from Ancor Brewing. We were there Saturday early evening. Very busy and popular. Food and drink are little pricy, I guess the city price but nice atmosphere and huge space.

I absolutely love this place! Barebottle Brewing Company has such a cool, welcoming vibe and an awesome selection of craft beers. Every time I visit, I'm impressed—but their Passion Icon beer blew me away. It’s fruity, refreshing, and totally unique. Whether you're a local or just visiting San Francisco, this spot is a must for beer lovers.

Like a brewery mixed with an arcade. The place is very cool. The service was also attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming and open. I’d be a regular here if I lived in SF. Above average beers.

Bare bottle is a pretty great brewery. They had a great selection of beer, both in style and quality. Some of the best flights we've had. We liked the snifter serving style and really enjoyed the beers. They seem to focus a little more on IPA's but had great stouts and barleywines too. Nice warehouse atmosphere and pretty busy when we visited.

Some of my favorite beers in the city - absolutely love the sours! Lots of space, and like that there is outdoor seating as well.

I stopped by Barebottle Brewing and had a blast! Their flight option let me taste some cool hazy and stout beers. The stout was my favorite—it was really tasty! The place is huge and has lots of different beers to try. Plus, they've got games to play, which is fun. It can be a bit tough to find parking, but they've got a food truck for snacks.

Big barebones space, with games including shuffleboard (great fun). The wine is not inexpensive but it is good. On days off, families come here with little children. The Colombian food stall serves tasty food, mostly fried. Beers come in a large range.

Super popular and welcoming brewery! Wide range of beers, including plenty of hazy and West Coast IPAs, plus a few barrel-aged bottles. Bar staff are ready to help you pick, including with a few samples. Very family-friendly atmosphere. Cool!

Not far from the docks, the Dogpatch Mothership taproom from Harmonic Brewery awaits with cold beer rich in fresh hops and barley. Both indoors and outdoors are quite spacious, with 12 taps offering an array of delectable flavors from imperial stout to English bitter to fruited sour to the ever popular India Pale Ale. The staff were quick, attentive, and friendly. Restrooms were clean. Both kid and dog friendly, the atmosphere was both fun, yet family. The food truck pop up was Smashd, which had a couple of different burger choices that were absolutely delicious. A mere thirty minute walk from downtown SF, while in the industrial outskirts, the vibe and atmosphere lend for a relaxed afternoon or evening. Worth the trip!

Great beers at really good prices tucked back in the DogPatch. Came here to support a friend's pop up so I got some beer and some chicken biscuits and they also had live music. Great atmosphere. Great service would definitely come back.

Great place to come grab a beer with your dog and watch the game. Staff is extremely friendly! If you have trouble making up your mind from the many choices available on tap, tastings are available.

Great pet friendly brewery with rotating food trucks serving amazing food! I came here to eat on Wednesday afternoon. Parking was a bit difficult since it is mostly warehouses here. The food truck, Satay by the Bay,is so good! Best Singaporean satay. The Covid space for seating is very spacious. Tables are quite set far apart. Highly recommend for cleanliness and safety for seating.

Friendly staff, open seating and great beer. What more could you actually want in a brewery? I know I rate a bunch of stuff 5 stars, that's because I think they all deserve visits. But I'm not gonna lie, I liked this one the best in the city (So far). It just had a great vibe and a bunch of beer options.

Don’t Go for the food. I’m not sure about the beer. $8 for this tiny snack bag not including the soda. I also ordered a $12 calzone that was more like a reheated hot pocket.

My wife and I visited here on a Monday afternoon for happy hour. I got the cheeseburger sliders, my wife got the street tacos, and we both shared a serving of nacho chips and salsa. All the food was very delicious. Some of the best bar/pub food that we ever had. For the beer, I had the Fog City Hazy IPA, and my wife had the Polk Street Pale Ale. Both were citrus flavored but excellent. We like the comfortable bat atmosphere. Bartenders were very friendly too. We would recommend this for a nice visit with friends to watch a game or catch up after work.

Enjoyed Fried Green Tomatoes & SFBCo Nachos. I don't know how they prepare their Fried Green Tomatoes, but they were the best I have ever had. Everyone with me loved them! We also enjoyed some drinks: Stout with chocolate, one of the best Porters ever, and two cocktails. The atmosphere is fun and the game was on. Tess was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and friendly. Tess was the best! Great place!!!!

Had a couple of beers here and some food. Ordered at the bar and went outside for food. Food arrived quickly but the fish was not very hot considering it was freshly deep fried. Chips mediocre. Service once food ordered non existent for me. No server checked on food during eating. Wasn’t very busy during visit. Nice outdoor area.

Right in the heart of Ghirardelli square we stopped for a quick drink. I got their Willy Wonka Sour Beer which was very fruity and very enjoyable. It was rimmed with candy pieces and topped with a sugared gummy candy. We came a second time as well because I wanted that beer again. They have a dimly light interior with a bar and outdoor seating as well in the square that they call the “beer garden”. Both days the servers were very friendly.

Some vegetarian options available. Restaurant inside of the Ghirardelli Square! Fun atmosphere, dim mood lighting with a cool central bar. The decor is very woodsy in a fun way. A classic hipster brewing feel. Went over the holidays so service was a bit busy but nice. Creamy tomato soup was good but the fish tacos were even better. Sort of a tangy sauce, good crunch on the battered fish. Tortilla chips lightly salted, very fresh salsa. Good for big groups and tourists looking for a meal in the Square.

Very nice location with plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect for larger groups. Food was decent and the staff were perfect. Strong odor on the inside (we relocated due to the cold). Drink options were creative and flexible. Pricing was normal for the area.

We ate inside on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was friendly and attentive to our table. We had the Cali chicken sandwich, the Chinatown chicken pizza and the North Beach pizza. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Visited Gold Bar Distillery on Treasure Island after a friend’s recommendation and really enjoyed it! No reservation was needed — we went on a Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. The whiskey flight included four types, and the staff kindly explained the ingredients and aging process of each. It was fun comparing them with friends and discovering our preferences. The tasting room was bright and airy, not the typical dark whiskey bar vibe, which felt refreshing but a bit unusual. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable though. The ice cream we ordered was great, and the whiskey flight came with a free T-shirt — such a good deal! Afterward, we stepped outside to a stunning panoramic view of San Francisco across the bay. A great stop for anyone exploring Treasure Island.

Our experience was such a rollercoaster that we just had to laugh. The poor staff seemed SUPER stressed - they said there was a problem with the tickets, and when we tried to inquire why everything else kept going wrong we just got deer in the headlights looks. I think our waiter was at the end of their shift because they switched to being a patron at the bar while we were still there. We were probably there 3 hours? Ordered about $300 for 6 of us. Please don’t spend your money on the corndog. It was quite bad. Flavorless. The aioli was delicious but too spicy for my palate. - asked for their mocktail selection (menu says to ask) and was told their mocktail person was out. I said any club soda with any flavoring was fine. Eventually brought a plain with a lime wedge and never offered a refresh. Eventually brought a second without being asked. - ordered ice cream: told no ice cream but when the lady next to us received ice cream said the machine must be working again. Still not ever brought ice cream? - ordered the lobster corn dog, but told the head chef was away and he was the only one that knew how to work the machine?? Eventually when I asked someone else, she said chef had showed up and put our order in. - someone at the table was drinking Pilsner all night. After ordered “another beer” was brought an IPA. Made sure to order “another Pilsner” next time. - Negroni ordered without ice was brought with ice - bathrooms are so beautiful but didn’t seem to be cleaned all day. We got to watch the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge. It seems like someone had invested a lot of money and effort into making this beautiful building a great place to stop, but the service definitely fell short on our visit.

One of my goals in life is to experience new things. This cocktail experience by Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery hit that mark. We did the 49 Themed Cocktail experience and not only is the Distillery located in an incredible area with an unprecedented view of the San Francisco skyline, but the event of making 49er themed cocktails was great and something I will never forget! Our mixologist host and lead bar tender was Nick. He not only walked us through making three unique whiskey, 49er themed cocktails, but also provided a lot of fun facts and trivia along the way. Nick was awesome! Definitely an experience not to miss!

Great experience and fun! Johnny was a great host. Knowledgeable and patient, especially with our large party of 7. Wonderful location, tastefully decorated, and the views are spectacular. My only suggestion for the facility is to have overhead lights on the tables as it got a little dark and hard to see after the sun went down (winter). Patrons: wear comfortable shoes because you'll be standing for a while. Also, go make a call at the phone booths after the class! Super fun overall and definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing experience with Nick!! He was so kind, funny, knowledgeable and just all around fun!! Can’t recommend enough!!! 10/10!! All the drinks were so amazing too!!

First time taking a cocktail class. Awesome. I would highly recommend taking it with Nick. Nick was a fabulous teacher.

Worthy visit. This mission includes a nice chapel, small museum, a very large and beautiful basilica, cemetery/gardens, and a gift shop. Parking is a real hassle. There is 2 hour parking on the street, but all taken by residents who have permits. There is a paid parking garage about three blocks south, but there are many homeless and junkies there. I would recommend using public transportation or uber and get dropped off right in front of the mission.

It is a beautiful mission to visit. Although it was a very small mission in the admission price is $10. Since it is small I think it would be best to have a lower admission price. Either way, it had history. I do recommend to visit during the weekend, especially on a Sunday since there are more parking options.

Mission Dolores is a gem. Much of it is original from 1791, when the church building was completed. The simplicity of the interior is adorned by beautiful art. The historic graveyard also contains an Ohlone willow dwelling in recognition of the original inhabitants of the area. There is also a very nice gift shop at the exit.

Mixed emotions. I love the California missions! I love the history. I love the beauty and the religious experience. But, all things considered; this is one of the smaller missions. It does have a small artifact collection but compared to some of the other missions, especially those in Southern California, it is not … as impressive.

Visiting Mission San Francisco de Asís was a wonderful experience. The historic church is beautifully preserved, and you can really feel the history of the area. The architecture and stained glass windows are impressive, and the peaceful courtyard makes it a perfect spot to reflect and take photos. The staff were friendly and provided helpful information about the mission’s history and significance. It’s fascinating to learn about the early days of San Francisco and the role the mission played in the community. I highly recommend visiting if you’re interested in history, architecture, or just want a quiet, beautiful place in the city.

This mission is just gorgeous in all of its original glory. The chapel took our breaths away. So much to look at and read and see. The outside original cemetery was so very interesting and extremely well looked after. They also offer a lovely gift shop, as in the cherry on top. A must see oh, and I did I say this chapel is the oldest building in SF that survived all of the earth quakes and fires.

This was such a lovely piece of history to explore. The original mission church and grounds were beautiful and peaceful to wander around. We were unable to check out the larger basilica as there was a wedding happening when we were there. This was well worth the $7 entrance fee.

Stopped by the pop-up in the Presidio on a beautiful afternoon and had the Lobos IPA. It was excellent, juicy well balanced nose, mouthfeel and finish with the right pine notes, hops and bitterness. Thanks Cecile !

Update: overnight shipping throughout California is pretty epic and faster than anything Amazon sends nowadays. Awesome beer but go to the ferry building for the tap room. Production location only. Just do a little research and save yourself the time. Google won’t modify the listing to say so. If you happen to go without researching it at least Crissy Field is awesome. Enjoy the view.

This is a production facility. If you want a true tap room, go to the Ferry Building. Fort Point makes some of the most innovative beers in the bay area. Their can game is on point! Back to this location. What you can do, if you're nice about it is knock on the unmarked door and see if anyone is in between shifts. They are super nice and willing to show you around of they have time. There's a tiny space to taste some things but as I mentioned before, this is a working facility so be extra courteous.

The beer is fine. Some people swear by it, but I just don’t see the appeal. What I do see is a fantastic company with fantastic people working here. Everyone around the Presidio location is super friendly, and it always smells great around the brewery.

Best invite in San Francisco. As a guest, being able to take a tour and check out the equipment up close while a knowledgeable staff member shows you exactly what's happening in each step live was amazing. It's a craft brewery giving the large corporate owned breweries a run for their money, and delivering a much better beer at the same time. Some of the small batch beers we're absolutely top notch, and the KSA is a staple!
