So the bar upstairs was nice with ok cocktails and good service but then I went downstairs where Diego and he’s helper made some creative and great cocktails and that’s way I’m willing to give 5 stars for this place my recommendation go straight down and try the experimental menus

The cocktails were nice. The prices were more high end. The staff were nice, but it did feel like the humor was more at our expense. The water was free and refilled with is a huge plus!

Friendly staff, cool ambience, really good drinks! We visited this bar twice on our 3 day stay. While the drinks weren’t overly showy or wildly creative, they were very good. We liked that they served local spirits and the popcorn was a cute touch!

My experience here was simply stellar. The bar has this cozy, speakeasy vibe, and the bartenders were truly impressive. Each cocktail felt like a crafted work of art. They use creative ingredients with theatrical presentation and unique glassware. Service was warm and attentive, and that little bag of salted popcorn was the perfect companion to our drinks. Definitely one of the best cocktail bars I've ever visited.

One of Best Bars in Budapest which offers unique cocktails. Their gin based cocktail menu is the highlight of this bar. Staff is prompt and helpful to their customers.

Absolutely amazing experience. Cozy bar with great music. Bartenders are very qualified and handsome. They came to us to talk about the drinks option if you don't want anything from menu they will craft you something based on your likes. That's how I got one of the best drinks in my life. From entering till the end we felt amazing. Hopefully in the future we will come back not as a students with tight budget so we can stay for more drinks. Totally amazing in Poland we have never found experience like this. Thank you for that!

Amazing place. The environment was so atmospheric and cozy, the music sent the best vibes, the service extremely friendly, the bartenders pure delight to the eyes and the drinks were beyond the promising performance of the bartenders. They served me a custom made drink that was far beyond my expectations. Amazing job!!

small and stylish cocktail bar located on the ground floor of the hotel. The service really stood out - the waitress was very attentive, patient, and knowledgeable with all our requests and questions. The drinks turned out perfect in the end, and all of us really enjoyed them. Also, they included a small plate of free snacks for us that they refreshed. Loved the vibes, there was also a DJ on Saturday night, but it wasn’t too loud. Perfect spot for a date night!

Very delicious cocktails 🍸 Dory was very attentive, took great care of us and we never had to wait long to order. One of the cocktails we ordered was unfortunately not our taste. This had nothing to do with how the cocktail was made, it just included cilantro, which we don't like. Dory was super understanding and quickly exchanged it with a very delicious Mai Tai. All of the other drinks made by Matthew were very delicious! Especially the Spice Market Smoke, which really brings some heat! Can only recommend this gem of a bar

A wide array of some very tasty and unique cocktails. Some unique flavours, presented beautifully, with far more generous portions of alcohol compared to some of the other cocktail bars we’ve been to in Budapest. Very nice vibe, couldn’t recommend it more to anyone visiting

Excellent bar with bartenders that are truly masters of the craft. The signature cocktails are delicious and complex! Dori and Matthew took excellent care of us. They explained the different aspects of the signature cocktails that we weren't familiar with. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good cocktail in Budapest 🍸🍹

At SkyBar we were amazed by the “Twisted Classics” – classic cocktails with a creative twist by the bartenders. 🍸 Out of all the ones we tried, the Hungary Pornstar Martini was by far the best. 😍 We also enjoyed a delicious chocolate-orange dessert. The bar has an elegant and very pleasant atmosphere, the service is top-notch, and everything is perfectly organized. Highly recommended!🏅

Fantastic place for cocktails and a view. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the dirty fries with black truffle and parmesan. They were delicious. Making a reservation is a must. Possibly a bit touristy but sure when you are on holiday do something nice.

Nice view and lighting. However, this place for almost empty. It might be good if you want peace and go with your partner. The big drawback are prices which are huge. This skybar is heavily overpriced so keep that in mind. Staff was polite.

What a fantastic experience! Great location, amazing views of Budapest, the venue is chic and trendy, the food is fresh and tasty, but you will come back for the cocktails!! The drinks are worth the visit, with a special mention for our mixologist Laszlo! He is very friendly and super knowledgeable about cocktails (he customized one for me), but also the wines from St. Andrea winery. We will go back and hopefully Laszlo will be on duty that day!

The view is definitely nice, but the windows were not clean, and there were spiders and webs everywhere, which was quite unpleasant. The place clearly needs better cleaning. However, I recommend making a reservation, as it seems to be a popular spot.

Visited this Skybar once and honestly, it was just a one-time experience. I ordered a mojito, it was small, packed with ice, and tasted more like a watered-down spritz than an actual cocktail. And The service was okay but nothing special.

We have booked a wine tasting and left fully satisfied. The atmosphere was great, the wine was fantastic and our Sommelier Bence has an extensive knowledge of wine and wine regions as well. In addition, his knowledge about whisky is also impressive. Very service minded, great view, amazing wine & cocktail & whisky selection.

A reservation is required, so it is better to make it instead of just showing up. My request was to sit outside and it was really nice eating and enjoying the beautiful views. The food was delicious, the waiter/waitress was nice and friendly. The only issue we had was that when asked to pay in cash (Euro), and then we overheard the waitress telling another customer that she didn't recommend paying cash in Euro because you will end up spending more than usual but she never mentioned it to us.Not recommend to pay in Euro. Overall very nice and beautiful. Recommend to visit it.

The food was pretty decent. But the portion sizes were astronomical for Budapest. Our waiter was top notch and attentive. The drinks were okay but were crazy expensive for what was provided. I think you are paying more for the name and location rather than the food and drinks provided. The price just does not match up. The brownie was good. Rich for sure.

A nice place to take in the views of Budapest! We made a reservation via Opentable for the afternoon and the tables were full but not overcrowded. We enjoyed some non-alcoholic beverages and a few appetizers while enjoying the bright sun and perfect location. The tartare was not something I would order again, but the hummus was outstanding.

We visited Leo from Florida on our very first day in Budapest, and it was the perfect introduction to this beautiful city. The view was absolutely stunning, the atmosphere was relaxed yet classy, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to our server Theo, for his kindness and outstanding service, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We’d also like to give special thanks to the lovely curly black haired lady who hosted us and managed to fit us in even in rush hours without reservations. Their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out and made our evening even more enjoyable. Budapest has completely captured our hearts, and this rooftop was the highlight of our first night. We’ll definitely be visiting again before we leave, highly recommended! :)

In general, a very nice rooftop bar/restaurant. The food was very nice however the portions were very small. We ordered the fillet mignon and the mini cheeseburgers. To be fair, you rarely find these prices for this type of food in other places but Budapest is in general relatively cheap. The cheesecake was extremely good and the cocktails are also very good. However, we had some problems with the table we were seated at, since we were in a far corner and couldn’t really see the view which ruined the mood a bit and makes it feel like it’s not really worth it. However at the end of our dinner we were moved to a better spot which sort of made up for that. So make sure to book in advance and ask for a good table since space is limited. In general, a very nice place for dinner and drinks but again, portions are a bit small.

If you are looking for a place with a nice view then this is your place. Nice ambience, music and comfortable seating. Nice service. If you are a claustrophobic person you might find the elevator a little bit challenging since it’s very small and with no air conditioning.

Free entry, long and wide space with multiple rooms and floors and music. Combination of both inside/outside bars and dance floors. Opened late but started to pick up just after midnight. The atmosphere was wild, it was busy music was ok drinks were expensive.

It's a interesting place Different rooms and different environments around also you will find different musics playing. It's a shame that I went earlier and I couldn't stay until late night to see the full house but I can image how fun it is. Imagine you get in a labyrinth that everywhere you explore you would find something fun

Absolutely loved this place! 17 different bars and lots of different rooms and areas to drink/eat and dance. Reasonable prices and an amazing atmosphere - quite a young crowd (we are older but didn’t feel out of place ) excellent lively place - didn’t eat but the food looked good.

You can’t get bored in this place!😻😻 it has so many things to see and such a great atmosphere! Though it does need more chairs in the ground floor. A bit confusing about the bars though, we asked if we could have one mojito in one of the bars that had the big board with cocktails but the guy told us we had to pese it somewhere else because he couldn’t make it, not sure why they have the board there then. Prices are alright, I feel like the water should be cheaper tho. A lot of things to see and really worth going for a good party! Different genres in every room and really just good vibes!

Great party place, lots of tourists. You have variety of parties for everyone. From house to rave/techno music. Drinks are very much affordable, one of the security guards who was on the first floor was extremely rude and not accommodating, by not allowing people to pick up their own jackets from inside area because he thinks there are too many people inside that area…

Found this hidden gem in Budapest and had the yummiest cocktails ever. The service is absolutely amazing. Our server, Attila was super friendly and courteous. Never had cocktails this yum before and the vibes were just immaculate. Definitely check this place out if you’re in Budapest.

Super cool speakeasy style bar. The cocktails are creative and tasted delicious. The place is small so reservations were key to avoid a long wait. I felt the prices were a bit high (vs similar cocktails). Highly recommend-will return!

Lovely cocktail bar with tasty and original drinks — each one felt thoughtfully crafted. The bartenders were kind, attentive, and very professional. They even made a custom drink for my friend that wasn’t on the menu. The atmosphere was great and lively, definitely a spot worth visiting. It can get quite crowded though, so be prepared for a bit of a queue.

What a stunning little bar, slightly hidden, but definitely worth finding. All the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Table service was impecable and the cocktails were divine. Such amazing creativity and the theme of famous building blueprints was cool. Wardour and W 54th was my favourite, but they all were really great drinks.

Dropped in on a Monday night around 9pm and glad we were able to easily get a seated spot. Service super attentive and drinks delicious all around. Loved the chill music and cozy intimate speakeasy vibe. Would come again:)

Our server was very sweet, he kept refilling our water and very attentive to our request! They serve the best cocktails in town with intimate ambience. They also had such a creative menu book which is such a treat if you’re an architecture geek. All and all, loved everything about this bar!!

A spacious bar with a lovely atmosphere that’s genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. The young waitress who served us was very polite and attentive. She helped us choose our drinks, especially with the fröccs, and we tried several cocktails — most of which we really liked. The only downside was the slow service, but it was clear that the number of staff wasn’t enough for how busy the place was, so I don’t blame the employees for that. The management definitely needs to address this.

The place an unique atmosphear. You can come here alone to enjoy a moment of reflection holding a drink, with friends -which would be the most fun option- , or to work in case you are a bit of a nomad, like me. This is one of my favorites places in this part of the city. It is close to Calvin Ter and Astoria. You cannot miss visiting this place!

Extremely quirky bar / cafe / muso joint. Highly eclectic decor in a beautiful old function room. Great beer. Not too strong so good for easy drinking. And yes we found the loos first try.

This café/ruin bar has an incredible atmosphere—eclectic, vintage décor and a welcoming vibe that make it a memorable spot. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the charm. That said, the drinks can be hit-or-miss when it comes to taste, which can take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. Worth visiting for the ambiance alone.

We stayed there for an hour or so to have gin tonic and whiskey shot which cost us around 4500 HUF. The staff are so friendly and respectful can speak English. The place is cosy pub with lots of small things to watch. We satisfied from the service and like the place.

A ruin bar we actually enjoyed! We are middle aged now and found the ones down in the Jewish quarter a little rowdy for our liking. We stumbled on this place just before going home and finally understood the charm of the ruin bars. Can highly recommend a visit here.

A whimsical, eccentric, gloriously mismatched portal where the furniture tells stories and nostalgia hums through the air like a half-remembered dream. Right now, I’m lounging in what can only be described as the most regal bathtub this side of the Danube — sliced neatly in half and reimagined into the perfectly strange chair. Sturdy, sleek ceramic — the kind your grandparents might’ve scrubbed up in, now reborn as an artistic throne for sipping sparkling water and contemplating life. A lamp glows nearby, filled — yes, filled — with cassette tapes. Not ironic. Not fake. Actual magnetic tape relics that would confuse half the clientele in the best way. It's not décor, it's a shrine to the analog gods. And then, like a blessing from above, Elton John comes on. “Crocodile Rock.” Followed by “Rocket Man.” Not the Shatner version, but let's be clear: The William Shatner version of Rocket Man deserves praise. He didn’t perform it — he transcended it. Shatner transformed that song into something operatic, haunting, and wildly, gloriously unhinged. It’s not just performance — it’s cosmic performance art. If Csendes had a shrine in the back dedicated to that version alone, I’d light a candle. And speaking of praise — shoutout to the staff here. I ordered a sparkling water and nobody blinked. No judgment, no weird looks — just patient, genuinely friendly service that made me feel welcome, hydrated, and very much not alone in my sober curiosity. Csendes is where you go when you want a drink — not necessarily an alcoholic one — and a vibe so rich in soul and strangeness it feels like sitting in a David Lynch dream scored by Elton John. Come for the bathtub. Stay for the playlist. And always, always honor the Shatne

Very good bar on the roof of the building complex. The entrance was free, we went with a lift, the employee welcomed us on the roof and although we did not have a booking, it found us a place and settled us. The drinks were ok, played there live DJ, the views were nice to the whole of Budapest. I recommend that you like experiences and unconventional places.

We visited March 2025 but I waited to do a review hoping I would feel better about the experience. I had made the reservation 3 months in advance knowing it was a popular spot. My understanding was the reservation was a private igloo for 2 hours, turns out it’s a shared space, the other couples understood it was also a private space reservation. The space is tight, two very small tables for two and a seating area for four with a coffee table, we had a dinner reservation so eating off the coffee table wasn’t great. It was very loud with eight people in such a small space. The service was slow and underwhelming, the food wasn’t good and the fondue cheese was just gross. The view was okay, but not enough for me to recommend this place!

This rooftop bar has a great location with an amazing view of the city. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. We tried two cocktails, they were just okay, nothing special. But the place itself makes up for it. Prices are reasonable too. Overall, a great spot to hang out and enjoy the view!

10 years old rooftop restaurant. Working till 2 am, good option after opera. Definitely need reservation. Better for company of 4-6 people to book separate igloo, other wise you will share small igloo with deferent couples. To sit outside is very windy. Good was tasty, good variety of wines and craft beer. The service can be faster.

The cocktails we’re pretty basic nothing special. We came at lunch and the place was pretty empty. I guess evening time is much better because a few people recommended this place for getting drinks. Great view.

Unique chill out place for a drink. Love the little igloos they have set up on the rooftop that are warm and cosy. There's plenty of different seating style seating available in there. I think they've set up little heaters in the igloos, so even in the winter it's not cold. There's outdoor seating available too if you prefer. We had a couple of Baileys hot chocolate's which were really tasty! There's a lift to take you to the top so don't worry about steps.

This is a very cool performance venue showcasing musicians and programs almost every evening. There is a bistro onboard serving breakfast and all day menu until evening hours. There are stages on the bow and roof terrace so there can be more than one performance per evening. Stop by if you see a music genre to your liking!

Well.. The Bistro was fantastic..the food..the service.. Then the bars where awesome and nightclub on the top floor was epic.. Fun..good music and friendly people.. Its a must when in Budapest

I had a great evening at Tetőterasz even though the weather wasn't super generous! Great house music on a Thursday afternoon into the sunset. Love this venue great to back after 13 years.

Fantastic food and great people. Bit of a walk from the city center, however it’s well worth the walk, and after eating the food, walking back will definitely help you burn off a bit of what you just enjoyed. I was there for restaurant week and the offerings didn’t disappoint. The food looked and tasted too good for me to take pictures, but the main course of braised pork cheeks and roasted potatoes were a must try if they are on the menu when you go. The pickled radishes were unexpectedly delicious and will be adding that to my recipes when I get home. Try it out for yourself

I had two very negative experiences at this club. First, the band I came to see was 2 hours late – something I only found out after I had already entered. I wanted to step outside for some food and a walk along the river, but they told me if I left, I wouldn’t be allowed back in. After waiting two hours, I received a token without any explanation. When I ordered a drink, I was told I had to pay extra. Later I realized the token was probably for a smoker’s cup, but no one explained this to me. I asked for my money back, but instead I was given an extra cup. The bartender upstairs (the shorter woman with black hair) refused to help, and I was left with two cups I didn’t want. Staff speak very poor English and are not friendly toward foreigners. Overall, if you are not Hungarian, better go somewhere else.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this club. During the event, some foreign men were behaving inappropriately and insulting young women on the dance floor. What made the situation worse was that there was no security staff present downstairs where everything was happening. I had to go upstairs to find someone to report the problem to, which is unacceptable in a place that hosts crowded night events. A club should make sure guests feel safe and respected at all times. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the security presence and crowd control, so no one has to go through a similar experience again.

A must go place in Budapest if like cocktails!! We went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and absolutely had a wonderful time there! The bartender Milan is absolutely amazing, the cocktails taste fab and he has done a great job! And the girl Franciska, she’s sooo lovely, kind and friendly 🥰 will defo come back and visit again if travel in budapest again!

Amazing vibe and great cocktails! Loved this place - the music was awesome, the bartenders were super guest-friendly, and the signature cocktails were really interesting. My favorite was Tropical Thunder! The beautiful glassware and perfectly made ice show that the people working here truly love what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back for the atmosphere alone. We visited this bar after seeing it recommended on the Top 50 Bars list, but unfortunately our experience did not live up to the reputation. The entrance is a bit hidden, which does add to the speakeasy feel, and the interior itself is quite nice. However, the service was disappointing. The bartender was stoic and bland, offering near zero customer interaction or hospitality. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. While the cocktail menu is uniquely designed around taste descriptions and alcohol percentage, the drinks themselves were mediocre at best and far below what one would expect from a highly ranked bar. Signature cocktails may appear creative, but the quality of mixology was low-end, and certainly not on par with world-class standards. Pricing is on the higher side, which could be justified if the experience and quality matched, but in this case it did not. If you do decide to visit, I recommend going with no more than four people, as the space is small. That said, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this bar and are baffled as to how it earned a spot among the Top 50 Bars.

Went in having super high expectations just because our friends had gone and ranked it a 10/10. I left the bar with a solid experience, but I wouldn’t rate it at a mindblowing favorite bar in the world level. Apparently they just changed owners six months ago. Don’t get me wrong, the drinks were all delicious, but they were made mostly with store bought liqueurs so none of the flavors were especially new to me. The interior was cool and dark, and it was literally right underneath our Airbnb so perfect location. Worth going to if you’re in the area for sure though!

We love hunting for speak easy places, so this was a gem to find. The entrance is super cool and the enteriour as well, matches the vibe. The music didn’t realky go with it, a rockabily, jazzy music would be better, but that is all. It’s very small, but cozy. The service was friendly and the drinks great. We will be back for sure

I had the Geisha cocktail, unfortunately for such an expensive cocktail I cannot understand why the sticky decoration is on the outside of the glass, I touched the green part so many times 🥲 it wasn’t a pleasant feeling! You should definitely change that. I got the first table outdoor you might consider to have more small tables in the panoramic side so we all can enjoy the river view because I saw many empty tables and most of them were big ones. I must say that the service it was amazing! From the 2 hostesses to all the waiters around (all of them were so attentive) I also loved the complimentary olives and snacks.

We arrived at 18:00 and were immediately greeted by name after exiting the elevator. The host was very friendly and offered us a seat inside and outside. Our waitress Krisztina was very helpful and attentive. She did a great job and made our experience enjoyable. My margarita was a bit weak but besides that I had a great time. View was 10/10 I would recommend going during sunset! P.S Minimum spend is 25 Euro’s per person.

We had a bottle of Rosé and a cheese plate and enjoyed the nice view over the roofs of Budapest. The service is outstanding. It's definitely worth it for a chilled date night.

We booked the VIP booth next to the DJ on Saturday and had an awesome time, the Dj really good and energetic, the security did a great job in making it feel exclusive, I would also like to give a special mention to our server Emma, she was very helpful and attentive to our needs at all time. What an incredible experience! My friends and I were visiting Budapest for a stag do and Otkert was at the top of the list of venues we wanted to visit. We can now say it was a great decision and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The VIP service was truly exceptional on both nights we attended. On Friday, we enjoyed the Gold Area, and the service was top-notch. Then, on Saturday, we had pre-booked the Diamond Area right next to the DJ booth, and it was even better! A massive shoutout to Emma, who was our main waitress both nights. She was absolutely brilliant – attentive, friendly, and made our experience unforgettable. We'll definitely repeat if we return to Budapest!!!

Overall, we had a good time – the music and atmosphere were really nice. However, there was one very unpleasant moment: a security guard grabbed my friend roughly by the hand, insisting she show him her bag, even though she didn’t even have a bag with her. After realizing that, he still pulled her strongly just to “check” and then called her an idiot. It didn’t completely ruin our night, but it was a very disrespectful gesture that shouldn’t happen in such a place.

Didn’t like place, didn’t like food- tried Langos but it was served almost cold, not tasty and sausage on it was not good. One langos no drink 15€. Would not come there ever and don’t recommend to even stop by. Overpriced food drinks. There are many much much better places around that area.

...the location is spot on in the city of Budapest. As other reviews told, rather very young audience. I have been there with my wife and we both have risen the avarage age dramatically. Starting with a lot of girls, early but later only young boys hanging around on the dance floor. The music was,..., at least dance-able, but truly got repeated after three hours. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, amazing service though I didn’t realise that I was charge for extra things that I was told came as part of my meal and my husbands meal an extra €4 each plus they charged for ketchup and mayonnaise in a restaurant. They also charge 15% automatic service charge on anything you purchase which is off putting to add to your bill plus when you go to pay they still ask if you want to leave a tip on top of it like what can I not just go out and eat and enjoy my meal without worrying about service charge and additional tip? Hmmm the food was good but not that good to leave 15% tip on top of 15% service charge, plus the food was not cheap for Budapest. This is not good at all as now I wouldn’t recommend my friends or family to visit and face these extra fees at the end of a meal. Lovely service food was good but too many no no nos for me.

Brewery vibe, tried 2 different IPAs but nothing really beats exceptional. Bench-style seats not very comfortable if you planning an evening drinking. Staff were ok. Food was good.

Bit of a find although have been here in a previous life! It’s a beer gastropub as well as serving smoked meats. You sit in a covered yard and you have a couple of bars and food counters dotted around you. Can be a bit pricey for what it is but on the whole food is okay, you pay for mayonnaise, no sauces no mustard no ketchup. They did bring the food to the table and it was quite quick service but then again it wasn’t that busy. Can you imagine this being a really nice place when there’s a busy crowd here?

Great find. I wasn't sure what I signed up for walking through a more residential area and then you turn into the corridor and can't help but smile. It's perfect! They have 2 bars, we were shown our reserved table (highly recommend) and went up to order the beers. Nice guys, switched to English with ease. Food was from a different counter and delicious. We had a great evening at this brewery.

Always great variety of beers on tap, bottled alcohol free beer available too. Food options are not many but the food is delicious and served quickly. It gets a bit hot inside in winter and it is good to book table if you come Friday-Saturday evenings.

Excellent spot that separates the bars to reduce waiting time. The craft beer bar has a varied selection with voodoo being my particular favourite. The spirits bar opposite mixed up a superb G&T. The place was packed with people imbibing and laughing. I like the minimalist style too.

The views are breathtaking going before sunset and staying after. Great view of the buildings next door and parliament. We had a corner table outside for six people. The waitress was great except for a small incident which was taken care of. The food was very good. The cocktails were below par except for the expresso martini which was outstanding. Our first time here (party of four) and we loved it. The view is spectacular. We purposely reserved an evening time slot so we could see the famous parliament lights; we were not disappointed. Our server, Silvia, was very attentive, professional, and personable. We ordered various items from the menu. All of the food was pleasing to the eye as well as being tasty. Our group would definitely recommend the White Raven.

The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming, the table was amazing with beautiful views. The cheeseboard was very tasty, and a very thoughtful and unexpected surprise when I was brought out a birthday chocolate cube! The only let down were the drinks which were palatable, but not exactly the right taste for a long island, and the specialty drinks had beautiful glassware, but the tastes were very unpalatable especially the Medusa, but worth a try- definitely a snap and one sip. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend

Nice restaurant/bar with all the view; Parliament, Fisherman’s Bastion, Mathias Church, Buda Castle, bridges, etc. The prices are quite high as expected from a skybar at the top of the Hilton. The food is rather small portion, but tasty. Cocktails are ok, however not outstanding (I tried pornstar martini&aperol spritz). The staff is super nice and the atmosphere is laid-back and chic. Very much worths it!

The staff was incredible, specially Szilvi. She was friendly, took care of my needs, and was attentive. The food was incredible!! Got the steak and Asian rolls and not only did it come out looking like exciting, it tasted so good!

If you want a stunning view of the city then this is the perfect place. Nice seating areas to have drinks or eat. I order a mango salad but it was way too sweet for a salad, I was expecting a more tangy flavor. It needs more shaded areas to sit specially during summer.

The setting is stunning — a grand Art Nouveau building of the Four Seasons Hotel, with high ceilings, Art Deco furnishings, and rich green velvet. The visual presentation of the menu is impressive, and the drinks are beautifully crafted. However, what I consider an absolute failure is the service. In such a luxurious and expensive venue, it is completely unacceptable to wait 15 minutes without being served, even though several waiters passed by our table. When I finally went to the bar to ask if we could order, the only response I received was a curt “yes.” For an establishment of this calibre, such behaviour is simply unacceptable.

What an excellent cocktail bar! They had a high tea we also did that I couldn’t recommend enough with a live piano player. The snacks we got at the bar were exceptional and I wished I was more hungry to try more things. Their cocktails were inventive and fun, and their wine selection phenomenal. Lots of great local wines to try!

We were looking for an authentic Budapestian bar, and boy, did we find one. The owner serves behind the bar and cooks the food. Genuinely, and I really mean it, a gem of a place. We didn't eat. The wine is stored in metal pots in an open top fridge, something out of the 50's. The owner is lovely. So welcoming and friendly. Don't expect the Ritz, there is no need for that. We are going back tomorrow!!!! Value doesn't come close. Go and see.

I’ve known about Mátra Borozó for a while, but only visited recently with friends, and it was such a unique experience. The atmosphere is like stepping back in time: old-school interior, warm and cozy, with a genuine character you don’t find easily anymore. In just one hour we saw all kinds of people enjoying this little getaway — younger guests sipping wine and playing chess, others just sitting quietly, some finishing their day’s work with a glass of wine. It’s not flashy like some of the trendy bars or premium wineries in Budapest, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. The food, the drinks, the service — all brilliant. Prices are very affordable, but honestly, the atmosphere itself is priceless. It truly feels like time travel, and it left us with a memory we’ll carry for a long time. If you’re looking for something authentic, unique, and unforgettable in Budapest, I can’t recommend Mátra Borozó enough.

It is a nice very local place with lovely owners who have being here since 1983 but place got built in 1947. It’s a tiny bar full of nice people and nice atmosphere. Far from a typical chain but I really appreciate we found it casually while walking on the street. Very cheap as well. Toilets not too clean. Homemade food, nice owners. Not wheelchair friendly.

Definitely quirky. My sister-in-law sent me here. We were on our way to a nice restaurant, so we were certainly over-dressed for the occasion. Worth a visit for the experience. The old guy (assume it’s the owner) serves wine from large vats with a large ladle. Very generous glass sizes (tall glass not wine glass). Red wine was very good. Not what I was expecting. Take a wet wipe. But we had a good time. And the prices are definitely communist.

The most humble Toronto, Canada owner reconnects with his Hungarian roots and opens his INCREDIBLE wine bar in the rapidly evolving “Brooklyn of Budapest” Neighbourhood. Best place for a date especially given the patio and wine menu of authentic Hungarian wines taking you all the way to 15% ABV wines! Highly recommend as they almost hit their 10 years of being in business.

Lovely location with a pianist to entertain the guests and a cosy terrace with outside seating. Service was fast and professional despite it being busy. My only complaint would be that the food at the end of the day felt a bit stale and lacklustre. Otherwise great wine options and at a reasonable price too. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

A nice spot with friendly service, good food, and a classic atmosphere. The prices are very affordable. Food is very authentic and fresh. Decor is rustic with both ground floor and upstairs being very bright and sunny. The shop is air conditioned which is great in the summer.

Charming neighborhood spot. I spent many a night there at the end of last summer trying a range of conventional and natural Hungarian wines. I found it funny that I couldn't convince some of my Hungarian friends to check it out with me, as they considered it "too far." I guess this is what gives it its charm--it's not overrun by tourists nor the locals who think they're too cool to head out into the 8th. It's a gem of the 8th district and it's all the better for being a little far off the beaten path. The owner and his wife were great to chat with when the bar was not crowded. When the place had any crowd whatsoever, the owner became flustered and stressed, and always seemed to be behind on food orders, which was mildly entertaining but I also felt bad he didn't seem able to find decent help behind the bar. Hope things are going well and the bistro continues to get the credit it deserves.

Pleasant rooftop with a good selection of drinks. They even have a pool on the roof. I give minus points for not very tasty food and for the long preparation of the food (around 50 minutes, even though there were hardly any people there). The service was nice and the price it is high!!

They offer fresh cocktails and quality food. We loved the salad. Since we are not risk takers in, we preferred hamburgers and mystery burger did not disappoint. They serve with coleslaw and fries. This is a really nice and modern rooftop bar for an affordable price. The bar is located in Budapest old town and it is part of the memorize Hotel. They offer some delight dishes from the grill, tapas, desserts. If you want to have a nice evening, then it could be a good idea to visit the rooftop. Unfortunately the view is not that good, because it is not high enough and there are other rooftop bars in Budapest which offer a better view. We had a nice table and the bar was fully booked. They have a lot of different seating options and some of them are more comfortable the others. We ordered some wine, lemonade and one cheese and meat plate. Both of them came with bread which was really good and the selection was fine at all, but finally it was a little bit too expensive or a little bit less to share. On the other side the drinks are not that expensive, so that the balance is ok.

This rooftop cocktail skybar is a hidden gem in a beautiful city. Up on the 6th floor of the "Memorise Hotel" the views across the horizon at dusk and into the vending are very pretty. Again, we agree with many others that the cocktails and food are beyond spectacular, the rooftop elegant in its simplicity, and may I mention all of the staff, especially Denis who was so attentive, were beautiful. Every star allocated on this review is well deserved. Don't miss the opportunity of an evening up here...don't just sit in one of those ridiculous tourist traps...

I would recommend this for drinks, but not for food. The menu online does not match the real menu. The portions are very small and quite expensive. We ordered fries and got two round slices of baked potato. Also the burrata we had was frozen from the inside. The view is quite nice though.

We went there for a late lunch. The ambiance ia very nice and cozy, all of the waiters were very friendly. Definitely a good spot hang out with friends! The food was good, but it is on the pricier range. Though I would still recommend if your around the area.

Just incredible! the most flavorful chicken soup i've had. the chicken paprikash was also amazing and the black and white chocolate desert was likewise. a bit loud and warm- high energy but upstairs was a tad more chill.

What a gem to have stumbled on. A Variety of unique seating arrangements, both outside and inside. The interior space is decorated in such a fun whimsy, Boho kind of way. It's energetic, colorful and all about positive vibes. The music was a great compilation of different beats and was never too loud to interfere with our conversation. The food... oh the food! I had the traditional paprika chicken and it was everything and more than I was hoping it would be. I would absolutely revisit this restaurant! Bravo!!

Definitely my favourite bar in Budapest. The vibes were immaculate. Me and my partner went bar hopping and ended up here by chance. Best place ever. The playlist is incredible and very fitting for the vibe and the cocktails are the best I ever had that night. Will go back if I ever had the chance. Also, how cute are these menus? 😍

Must see bar!!!! 1) we waited for 10-15 minutes for a table. The waitress brought us complementary shots while waiting. 2) the waitress serving us was super nice and friendly. She also helped by recommending drinks. 3) we were there for 2 hours minimum. Every single song is a banger for 2 hours straight. 4) i chose the tropic from france which was one of the best cocktails i ever had. 5) i ordered the cookie monster cocktail which I didn’t like. When the waitress found out, she immediately gave me a complimentary cocktail of my choice. 6) the menu is super creative and very informative for you to make your selection.

The cocktails here were absolutely delicious and well-crafted — definitely a highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the tuna appetizer didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor. However, the view more than made up for it. The breathtaking panorama of Budapest is truly worth the visit on its own. If you’re looking for a great drink and a stunning cityscape, this is the place to be.

Absolutely stunning rooftop view with delicious cocktail options! This is the "secret" bar with famous history - ask the bartenders! Sara served us all night and took great care of us. She is a wonderful host 😊 and she even took professional pictures of us at the end. Love this place!

Location sells everything, but…! In this case, however the view is stunning from all over the place, the team who works there, crowns the venue. They’re not just great in problem solving but highly professional individuals who can deal with the silliest matters with unparalleled creativity and skill. They keep the distance in the old fashioned way, yet very friendly and make everyone feel at home the same time. The drinks are awesome and the ambiance is great. Highly recommended for everyone, whether just visiting Budapest or being locals on a fun evening. Congratulations to the staff!

After a long day of walking through Budapest - we had over 20 kilometers in our legs - we wanted to end the evening in a relaxed manner. We chose a rooftop bar with a great view over the city. Unfortunately, it was quite windy at around 10 p.m., so we opted for a seat inside. But that didn't detract from the atmosphere: the music was pleasant - present, but not too loud - and left enough room for conversation. The atmosphere was relaxed, stylish and just right for a quiet end to the day. We tried various drinks and beers, all of which were well mixed and of high quality. The beer glasses were particularly amusing, with their shape strongly reminiscent of laboratory glassware from chemistry lessons - a small but original detail that will remain in our memories. The selection of non-alcoholic cocktails was also impressive. All in all, it was a very successful end to our day: a stylish bar with a relaxed atmosphere, good music and a wide selection of drinks - highly recommended for a quiet evening above the rooftops of the city.

Stopped in for a glass of wine after a friend recommended this place, having had several lovely visits before. The view truly is stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing drink. Sadly, the service fell far below expectations. We were met with a cold and disinterested attitude from our server, who made no effort to be welcoming. After waiting over 30 minutes with no sign of our order (just sparkling wine and some nuts), the manager eventually stepped in. He was friendly, apologetic, and quickly realised the server hadn’t even put our order through. His professionalism was appreciated and briefly lifted the experience. Unfortunately, our original server returned and the unpleasant attitude continued — not just toward us, but also to the two women at the next table. He spoke down to them in a way that was frankly degrading, prompting them to pay and leave quickly. Even our friend, who had previously enjoyed excellent service here, was left disappointed by how poor the experience was this time. We stayed for just one bottle before deciding to go elsewhere. A real shame, especially knowing the place is capable of better. The view and the manager’s efforts deserve credit, but the service overall left us disheartened. I hope our next visit will be a much better experience should we decide to do so again.

I really liked this place! We had chicken burgers, and it was very tasty! Also they changed the sauce to ketchup on my request, which was very nice of them❤️ the beer during happy hours is cheap and also good. The only thing is that the website doesn’t show the real prices, I think it’s outdated, so it would be nice if it was updated. But still it was a good visit!

The bar is pretty decent overall — cozy place, tasty food, the pizza was absolutely amazing, and the beer was great too. Nice atmosphere, good spot to hang out with friends. The only downside was that they completely forgot about our order, and when we went to ask about it, they didn’t seem too eager to fix the issue. We didn’t even get an apology. Other than that, everything was fine, but that part left a bit of a bad impression

As soon as we walked in, host was dismissive, but sat us. We ordered 2 cocktails, spaghetti bolognese, and I asked for a caesar salad without bacon due to a pork allergy. We waited a very long time for the food, despite the place not being very busy, and once it came the salad was loaded with bacon. I immediately pointed it out to the waiter, same dismissive host, and he took it away with an attitude. The kitchen clearly just tried to pick through the salad and pull off the bacon, then loaded it with parmesan. I immediately found bacon still in it and realized it would be useless to send it back again, but could not eat it because it would make me ill. The waiter would not come to our table after seeing I had not touched the salad again, actively ignoring us, we had to tell him we wanted to pay so we could leave. When he finally came over, he asked what the problem was this time. We told him there is still bacon in it, but he tried to argue and say it was tomato. However, I'm a chef, and can tell the difference between the halved cherry tomatoes that were in the salad and the crispy bacon that I left presented on the fork. Would not have been so upset about the mistakes if he hadn't had such a bad attitude about it. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on their poor service, ordinary food, and copy/paste atmosphere. There are plenty places much, much, MUCH better in Budapest than here. Do better.

Visited often on my solo budapest visit, great atmosphere has a real homely pub feel, very mixed audience of people which is always nice. No complaints staff wise every visit I was greeted and served promptly and politely. Great happy hour offers between 14.00-17.00 all week and great selection of drinks and cocktails. Had the Langos and Snitzel and they were both really nice. There beef Langos was my favourite. If you're looking for a homely feel why away just pop in as they have many locations around Budapest.

Happy hour is ridiculously cheap. Excellent staff. Seating spot on and toilets are the cleanest I've ever seen in a pub. The picture with tiled floor is from outside the WC downstairs. I've seen a couple of 1* reviews for this place, do not trust anything those people say.

Stopped here for a little break whilst on a big walk around Budapest, nice place just to sit down and have a quick drink. Plenty of seats outside which gives you a great view of the surrounding city. Service took a minute to seat us but apart from that was quick and convenient. It’s no surprise I’m already planning my return—this evening, in fact, to catch Tottenham Hotspur’s Europa match. Lovely Irish bar were visited when we werr in Budapset for a few days. We all wantwd a full breakfast and this was the place we were advised to visit. And this place did not disappoint us when we visited there. The food was excellent, the price was good, so what more could you want, Oh a pint of decent Guinness I hear you say. I would reccomend anyone to visit this bar for a good feed and a Guinness.

A home from home feeling with a great welcome. We went on Satuday evening and again on Monday. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Our first servers English was excellent, and then we had the pleasure to be served by a West Meath lady. Who even invited us to watch the All Ireland match on Sunday. There was live music on Saturday and on Monday a quiz night. The beer was excellent, and they had strawberry and lime cider. The bathroom was spotless.

Budapest has no right to have an Irish pub serving Guinness as good as Davy Byrne’s. In my experience pubs fall into four groups: shit Guinness, sad Guinness, drinkable Guinness and great Guinness. We tried two other Irish pubs here and they were both in the drinkable Guinness category. This pub was levels above and serves a genuinely great pint - see picture. In an evening where my wife and I managed six pints each we also ate their loaded fries which were filthy delicious. And it’s about a pound a pint cheaper than we pay in London. Premier league and GAA on the tellys too.

Great place to meet up with friends as it is centrally located. Nice music playing that's not too loud so you can still have conversations. It's💲pricey for drinks 🍷 , I would suggest beer as the cheapest option. There are plenty of bars within a ten minute walk where I am sure you can get better deals on drinks.

Can't say anything about the food, since I was there for a concert. It was a post hardcore show and the venu was not that cool about it tbh. They didn't let people stagedive even though the band was all for it, and I mean it is a hardcore gig so of course there will be some heavier moshing/stage diving and if they don't want it then they shouldn't have such bands. Beer was good though

We went there during the evening for some drinks. They had a happy hour till 7 PM! The cocktails were very well made and very reasonable. Ended up going there again the next day too! Right in the city center with a huge open space. Would definitely recommend!

The most enjoyable football viewing experience on the several big screens. Each person is charged 10,000 ft for entrance, but for this amount you are given a voucher for their entire menu and bar.

During a short break in Budapest, we stumbled upon the Elysian Bar on Friday. An extraordinary cocktail bar with unique charm. So special that we had to go back on Saturday and Sunday just before our flight. The Elysian Bar has a well thought-out concept. All components are finely tuned to each other. The cocktails and mocktails consist largely of regional ingredients, some of which are fermented. The combinations are unusual and set it apart from other cocktail bars. I had a mocktail with dark chocolate and black garlic. At first, I wondered whether these two ingredients could be combined. And yes, you can. The staff took the time to introduce us to their creations and make recommendations. When we came back again, we were warmly welcomed. You can tell that the Elysian team enjoys their work. The interior design of Elysian reflects a connection to nature, just like the cocktails themselves. Carefully selected music and an indefinable, pleasant room fragrance round off the holistic experience and make a visit to Elysian something special – an oasis of well-being. We also visited three other cocktail bars, none of which reached this level. This bar alone is worth a visit to Budapest!

The service and people were absolutely AMAZING. I have never tried such unique and delicious cocktails. Me and my mother tried 3-4 different ones, and every time, we were blown away from the complex flavours and combinations. The produce and ingredients are 100% organic, and it can be seen how much love was put into the making of this place. Thank you for making this experience in Budapest so unique and amazing. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

The staff was very nice and all of the drinks and their concept sounded amazing, however every drinks execution was underwhelming. Some drinks were way too sweet, some way too sour and others less funky than imagined. Two were nice but way too basic for the price. We were a big group and nobody's expectations were fulfilled sadly. At the end we told them and they were very kind. They offered us a free sip of their Bloody Mary and it was amazing. Maybe we just ordered the wrong drinks or should have asked/communicated more but if 7 out of 9 special cocktails that are on the menu disappointed us, maybe something went wrong, which would make sense because they were very stressed. Also the bartender looked like he knew what he was doing which makes it more likely something went wrong.

Truly unique and innovate cocktails served in an elegant and non-pretentious manner. When visiting, the amount of passion the owners have immediately becomes apparent and is contagious. Upon request we were also given really interesting explanations on how the cocktails were crafted. Lovely interior too.

we went to the restaurant but as there is not a separate location i will write the review here. the restaurant is honestly amazing!! they serve delicious burgers and the portions are not that bad. the burgers do not come with fries so i suggest you order them as a side. the onion rings were the thing that really elevated the whole meal. they also have cherry beer which is one of my favs!! would def recommend ✨✨

We went on Saturday night to have dinner after 10 o'clock, and they seated us right away. Very fast and efficient service, the food was good. I had the sweet potato fries and a pulled pork. Price a little high, but considering the area it may be okay.

Now it’s my favourite club in Budapest! I didn’t see many but why should I if this one give so cool friendly vibe☺️ I love coming to you and dance! Perfect age people, not many crazy teens, most of the people I saw 25-35 years old :) Important thing to mention, locals go there as well and it means a lot to me. In Prague in the tourist places you almost never see locals because it’s too crazy, too wild.

We had a great time! Went in for a couple of beers, which were lovely and affordable. The atmosphere is the real highlight — super lively, full of energy, and perfect for a night out with friends. There’s something going on in every corner, and the place has a fun, unpretentious vibe. Service was quick and friendly even though it was packed. Didn’t try the food, so can’t comment on that. Definitely a fun stop if you’re bar-hopping in Budapest!

This place employs completely unprofessional and rude security personnel. The guy on shift on 30 September 2025 is absolutely racist and must be banned from work from people. His behaviour is completely disgusting and unacceptable. Any customers shall stay away of the place until the administration solves the problem with its personnel.

Such a great place with various drinks. The perfect choice to have a good time with a company of friends like we did it there. And as a student I can say that prices are good for center of Budapest, definitely will come back

I visited this restaurant in Budapest recently. The service was a bit slow, and the food didn’t quite meet my expectations compared to other places in the city. If you’re mainly looking for a dining experience, I would recommend trying elsewhere. That said, the location is excellent, making it very convenient to stop by, and the restaurant offers a variety of drinks.

Great food and great beer, loved it. Some of the best, most tender, BBQ ribs ever. Giant schnitzel was also very nice. Excellent prices and service.

The first place I visited during my stay in Budapest served a very delicious meal (I don’t remember the name—if you know it, let me know!). Unfortunately, I lost my earmuffs there, and when I went back they were gone, which made my first experience a bit sad. Regardless of that incident, I kept going back and even celebrated my birthday there. I love the atmosphere and the variety of activities you can enjoy while you’re there.

Yesterday I went to this bar to “have a good time,” but thanks to the staff, my experience was terrible. We tried to play the games they have there, but they wouldn’t accept a “torn” bill to buy the tokens for the machines. The bill wasn’t even broke. When we finally got some tokens, the machines didn’t even work… I went to tell them, and the girl said, “There was a sign saying it didn’t work.” I told her there wasn’t, and she replied, “Well, I didn’t take it down,” and refused to help me at all. I spoke to the other bartenders, and they had already passed the word around not to do anything about it. I’m sure another staff member would have been more human and actually helped. But this girl wasn’t helpful at all. The place was empty, the drinks were awful, and nothing worked. I don’t recommend it — there are plenty of nearby bars with much better service.

Great place! Dancefloors are usually mostly empty, but the atmosphere is great, you can really meet other people, and the drinks are good.

I love that pub. First time I visited because a friend recommended. All the time in Budapest is worth to visit. They have 3 environment and the prices are affordable.

A night that should’ve been special — but turned into a lesson in humiliation. I don’t usually write reviews, but what happened last Saturday at Füge Udvar deserves to be told — mostly so no one else goes through the same thing. It was my birthday. My partner had booked a table for around 20 people by email. When we arrived, we showed the confirmation to two staff members sitting by the bar. They told us to “go to the back and ask again.” After a confusing few minutes, another bartender finally said our tables were “the two in the middle, at the back.” Both were already taken — one by a big group of men. The bartender casually told us we could just ask them to leave. How ironic. We politely asked him to go there himself and explain that the tables were reserved. After a long wait, the groups eventually moved — and my friends began to arrive. Later, I ordered my third gin and tonic from a kind waitress. Except… it wasn’t gin and tonic. It didn’t taste remotely like one. I went back to the bar, apologized, and kindly explained something was wrong. She handed my drink to a visibly irritated man at the register. He stirred it with a straw, took a sip, and said, “Yes, it’s gin and tonic.” I even apologized again, thinking maybe I hadn’t mixed it properly. But I tasted it once more — still nothing like gin and tonic. I asked a friend to try it, and she agreed: it was undrinkable. When I returned again to the bar, the same man told me he hated gin but was sure it was there. Then he violently snatched the glass from my hand, raised the gin bottle above his head, and poured it straight into my drink — in front of the entire queue — before shoving it back at me. My friends were shocked. Knowing I struggle with depression and social anxiety since moving to Hungary, they tried to calm me down — because, honestly, that moment almost ruined my birthday. Later, another friend tasted the drink and realized they had used sparkling water instead of tonic. That’s why it tasted so wrong. I went back, gently explained the mix-up, and asked him to remake it properly. He made another drink, angrily throwing things around, and handed it to me again with zero respect. I told him to next time don't humiliate the client for their mistake. When leaving, I saw a fight breaking out between men in front of the club involving secitiries. It summed up the whole atmosphere. If you’re looking for a friendly, safe, or celebratory place in Budapest — do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Actually, if you ever consider moving to Hungary… maybe think twice. You'll be treated bad mostly everywhere.

The location is really great and this is where I had the most fun among the ruin pubs I visited in Budapest. You can play billiards, table tennis and more games and it's not too crowded during the weekend (unlike other clubs/pubs) in the city.

Really fun place to go to play air hockey, pool, table tennis, but not much choice in snacks, no hot drinks and a small collection of standard soft drinks only, the tables were all available as it was a weekday, it is much more busy from Thursday to Sunday, but on weekdays no reservation needed. The staff is helpful.

Love this place. Open bars on Thursday 10€ enter before 9pm unlimited drinking till 3am and Erasmus Mondays with big discounts are in heart❤️❤️

A brilliant and truly unique venue. I arrived after the boat party around Budapest, and the journey from the boat to the venue was smooth and easy. The atmosphere didn’t miss a beat – lively, memorable, and well worth the visit. Drinks were on the pricier side unless you caught a deal, but the setting more than made up for it. Food was also available. Not rated 5* due to cost of drinks.

The bartenders are incredibly arrogant. As an Erasmus student with an elb card I have a discount. They'll see your wristband themselves, and you have to explicitly say so, otherwise they'll charge the highest price. Every time I mention I should get a discount, they make a fuss and roll their eyes. I've been here several times and the bartenders have always given me the same service. The music is good and the place is nice, but the staff is terrible.

DONT GO!!! My friend got drugged and no staff members cared nor called ambulance. That night multiple others were completely nocked out. (We saw some laying in a corner or a girl being carried out by men) but we could not do anything about it. The women at the Garderobe even laught at me when I told her, the bar man just shrug his shoulders. The drink must have been spiked either by the bar man or by someone passing by because we watched the drinks carefully.

Beware of this scam! If you are in a group, be aware that they will force you to pay the same price for all members of the group: unlimited drinks (€30 even if you don't drink alcohol...). If you refuse, you will be denied entry, so split up before entering if your drinking preferences differ or if someone in your group doesn't drink alcohol. Cherry in the top you can only choose limited types of drinks even if you paid unlimited

We had such a great time at Neverland in Budapest! The service was excellent — the staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish. We did the Wild West escape room, and it was both fun and challenging, with creative puzzles and a really immersive atmosphere. After the game, we stayed for drinks at their bar, which was a perfect way to relax — the cocktails were fantastic! Highly recommend for a fun night out.

We had an amazing experience at Neverland in Budapest, and received some really amazing hospitality from everyone, so thank you guys! 🫶🏼 We were planning our one day visit to Budapest, and decided the day before that we wanted to do an escape room. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Neverland still had some availability, so we booked the Chernobyl room. I personally think their pricing is very fair for what you get, and the same goes for their bar/restaurant, but more on that later. From the first interaction to the last, both game masters and bar staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had half an hour to kill, so a member of staff offered us a drinks menu whilst waiting for the room to be reset for our game, then we headed over to the escape room, and received a very detailed yet easy-to-follow brief from one of the game masters. The room itself was very well designed, and was fairly difficult to solve (4/5 difficulty), but we managed to get out with a little over a minute to spare! 👌🏼 We then headed back over to the bar area, and we were given a drinks and food menu again, at which point I think we just naturally decided to have a late lunch here. All I will say is, if you can, definitely give their signature pizzas a try whilst you're here. The bar/pizzeria area is so well maintained and designed that I kept looking at the interior, and telling my partner how stylish and clean the place felt and looked. 😁 Again, we can't thank you all for such a great experience! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Hungary, and we'll be recommending Neverland to colleagues and friends who might be visiting Budapest in the future.

Such interesting escape room experience! We went to the serial killer's room, and we (5 people) made it out with 1.5 minutes left, so it was a perfect level of difficulty and interest. And the pizzeria has warm comfy vibes. The pizzas were small, but comparing to its price, I guess it is on a decent side(?) not sure. So I liked the experience, but not that much the pizza, that's why I give 5 stars.

Restaurant closes at 11pm and we got there at 10:30 even than they welcomed us with a smile and allowed us to have food in the restaurant. We ordered 2 pizzas Burrata and Margarita. Burrata was delicious. Both pizzas were very well cooked and taste so fresh. Thank you all at Neverland Pizzeria.

5/5 out of the world experience. We were 7 guys from Denmark, that have been in escape rooms before, but not detailed like this. Beyond the escape room there was a big bar and cozy restaurant, with insanely good pizza & drinks. The staff was very welcoming and professional. Would recommend this for anyone visiting Budapest.

Rumpus Tiki Bar is a fun place to spend time, with a great atmosphere and beautifully designed cocktail glasses. The cocktails we had weren’t amazing, but overall they were good. When we first entered and asked if there was a table available, we noticed that the staff looked us over before responding — which felt a bit uncomfortable. However, the waiters were polite, allowed us to choose where to sit, took our order, and served quickly. We had a pleasant time. The mandatory service charge is a bit high and should really be lowered. There’s one important point I want to highlight. The menu includes a note saying that if you break a glass, you’ll have to pay for it. We really liked the glasses, so as we were leaving, we asked if we could buy one. They said yes and directed us to the display downstairs. We were shocked at the prices — you could easily end up paying €100–200 for a glass while sipping a €10 cocktail. It felt a bit like a trap.

If you’re planning to visit, make sure to reserve a table and select your duration — otherwise, they’ll automatically book you for just an hour. What’s worse is that even if the place isn’t busy, they’ll still chase you out right at the one-hour mark, which really ruins the experience. It felt more like we were being timed than welcomed. The drinks were decent, though one came filled mostly with ice, which was disappointing considering the price. But the real letdown was the service. Our server looked visibly annoyed to even speak to us, offered no greeting, no smile, no engagement, and barely checked on our table once. At the end, he still had the audacity to ask for a tip, despite providing the bare minimum of service. Overall, a place that seems to rely on ambiance but completely forgets the basics of hospitality. When you go out, you expect to be treated like a guest, not like an inconvenience. Definitely our first and last time here.

Every time I’m in Budapest I have to come here – it’s become a tradition! The drinks are absolutely amazing, some even come with dry ice and look super cool. Easy to reach on foot, and if you’re driving you can usually find parking just a few steps away in the side streets. Love the atmosphere here – such a fun spot, I’ve already recommended it to several friends!

Everything inside matches their Mexican Hawaiian theme from the interior and drinks to the bathroom - all the small details are impressive. Also, the drinks menu is also amazing: very descriptive, easy to follow, with lots of fun cocktails from light to strong.

Beautiful decoration, nice options for cocktails. I have been 3 times already there, and this a last time cocktails were not that tasty. Also I think is important to specify on the menu what XL experience is about. With my boyfriend we tough is was about getting the drink in a larger portion, but nottt we paid almost 2000 something Ft (almost 10 dollars 🥺🥺) more for a big skull with dry ice. Been there and got dry ice also as decoration Without paying extra, but paying for a big thing with dry ice not worth it.

Tiki Bar in Budapest is an absolute vibe! 🌺 I had the best mocktails I’ve ever tasted, and the presentation is just as impressive — drinks are served in unique, creative glassware that makes the experience extra fun. The ambience is tropical and lively, with a laid-back yet exciting atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. They also offer cocktails and other drinks if you’re looking for something stronger. Totally worth visiting for the drinks, the décor, and the unforgettable vibes. 🍹✨

We went in on a Saturday night, it was quiet and we bought a lot of drinks, local customers were racist straight away, they seemed to know the staff well. One of the staff that were playing music made racist comments to one of our group in the toilets. Another customer made racist comments to us at the bar and were behaving aggressive towards us and told us “We are not welcome here and we need to leave” and swearing about the different countries they thought we were from and trying to barge us, in front of the bar staff. Despite this we stayed and finished our drinks. I would never recommend anyone go here not worth the rudeness and aggressive behaviour.

It's called Kazimir now. It's one of the best pubs in the VII district with the real Budapest vibe and atmosphere. Ask for Pinky...

ELLÁTÓház is a great bar. The decoration is urban added with lot of plants and flowers hanging. Prices are not too expensive but be careful, to date, cash only is accepted (a bit silly considering how paypass is practical in a bar). At ELLÁTÓház concerts are regularly planned for an entrance fee under 10€. Lot of time it is gonna be some cover band (Beatles, radiohead , queen...) which makes up to a great crowd of enthusiastic customers. The age is generally above the average in this part of the city during the concert mainly due to the style of music played. Also during concert the crowd is mostly locals. When concert is over it goes back to a more classical bar with music and the young party crowd.

A great place for all folks with basically any taste in music. There are great events happening every night you can surely find your jam here. There is a nice mix of tourists and locals you can find plenty of interesting people at the club. Prices are reasonable even though the place is in the centre. This place will make you want to return time and time again.

This is a wee gem I found on a great Facebook group. We went on a Thursday which was steak night. We had steak and fish and chips and food was amazing, we really enjoyed it! Great music and dancing and the cocktails went down quite well! Prices were reasonable and all staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend trying this place!

This place is wonderful. Its just a good, hang out, get a beer, get some fish/chips kinda place. We had a big crowd and were seated quickly. I got the nachos and they were alright. I wish I had gotten the fish and chips like my friends did because those looked bangin.

Great Friendly Irish Bar With Fantastic Staff. We were staying at the Noble Boutique Hotel so this was a great choice of pubs to visit for food and drink. We visited there 4 times because we enjoyed it so much. Great friendly Irish Bar with fantastic friendly staff with good service and reasonable prices. Good food with good Lager and a smooth pint of Guinness. Watched the England v Australia game on the Saturday afternoon before our flight home with a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub. All the staff were great, and I would like to say "Thank you to the lovely Romanian lady who made us welcome and said her goodbyes when we were leaving to catch the bus to the airport".

Great Irish Pub owned by real Irish people. Great atmosphere. We watched Ireland VS New Zealand. Price is about the same as Ireland. Would recommend to anyone who is going to Budapest.

Warm Up is a perfect name for this bar because while good, this isn’t a place where you would hang out for long. Cool vibe with the no-menu and just telling staff the flavor profiles you like-we had 2 pretty good drinks. We found the bar ambience was kind of odd and low energy. We visited around 10pm though on a Thursday night. One of our fav things is to sit at the bar but here, you can’t do that.

Very cool place offering custom cocktails. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable. I described the type of flavours and spirits I liked and the bartender came up with creative, tailor made cocktails. I ordered two cocktails, one based on the flavour profile I generally prefer, and one based on and idea I brainstormed with the server. Both turned out super tasty. They definitely know what they're doing :) Also - the pink bathroom is iconic 💅🏻

Really friendly waiter who takes his time to explain the menu and even made a bespoke cocktail based on my gfs preference. Beetlejuice cocktail absolutely slapped, salted caramel foam on top was so good. Lighting was a bit weird but everything else was great

The goulash soup is lovely. Good value too. 7,5 euros and the portions were huge. Just a hop from the very touristy Vaci Street, the place looks and feels very authentic. The service was a bit slow (it was not particularly busy during lunch hours). Friendly staff.

Appalling food & service The Hungarian beef stew was cold and a very very small portion. Mentioned it to the young waiter who said he would speak to the kitchen about it. Non existent kitchen staff as him and another male waiter were the once serving on and preparing the food orders. When it came to paying we were charged the full amount, no discount & no apology We only ate here after we had been on a guided food tour the day before. Only saving grace is we both didn’t order pork or chicken as we both could have been very ill if we had We both left hungry and disappointed The pictures from previous guests visits shows a massive portion. Ours were probably a spoonful Felt ripped off and angry!!!

Fantastic meal. Really good value and welcoming place - however service can take a while. Still it’s nice to sit out on the pavement with a beer and watch the world go by

Great place and great value service was good I went to the goulash & langosh bar just up the road and they charged me more then double for the beef goulash and this taste just as good. Save your money and come here much more quieter vibe aswell to enjoy your food came here twice now would definitely come again.

Absolutely stunning cocktails. Such a cool concept of different conqueror inspired drinks with complex flavor profiles. Miriam did a great job making them. And to top it off, Dori spent time explaining the origins and complexities of different cocktails and it was such an informative and unique experience. 10/10 recommend!!!! Will be back next time in Budapest

Dori and Mirjam were amazing! Cocktails were 10/10 and the service was incredible! We didn’t have to wait long at all on service and Dori brought us extra snacks and water as soon as we ran out. Definitely reccomend!

Amazing little bar with a fantastic cocktail selection! The space is cozy, which makes the experience feel really personal, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Reservations are definitely recommended because it’s a small spot and fills up fast. Great location, quality drinks, and overall a fun, memorable night. Excellent bar with bartenders that are truly masters of the craft. The signature cocktails are delicious and complex! Dori and Matthew took excellent care of us. They explained the different aspects of the signature cocktails that we weren't familiar with. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good cocktail in Budapest 🍸🍹

Come here for an elevated cocktail bar experience. It’s an elegant lounge bar that is calm and inviting. The people at the bar are pleasant and easy to have a conversation with. I had the pleasure to meet Peter and Mike. The cocktails are creative and they are willing to go off menu to customize to your tastes. Was going to have one drink and ended up staying for three since I enjoyed the drinks and it felt so comfortable to be there.

Beautiful bar with fantastic drinks!! They have a small menu with signature drinks but offer also every classic. I’m very indecisive so the bartender recommend something which i believe is now my favorite drink. They take the time for every guest. Will definitely be back!!

This place was incredible! We are from the states and Andrea was fantastic. I got the signature Noir Cadillac and it was so tasty! She also brought us a shot of their signature VuVu shot and it was delicious! 10/10 and would tell anyone to come when visiting Budapest

True classic speakeasy bar right on one of Budapest’s main party streets. Loved the chic interior and the atmosphere that feels both vibrant and intimate. Had a nice and lovely experience! I visited one hour before closing but they were super nice and sat us right in. The service is impeccable and the really nice waiter (shoutout to him!) helps you choose which kind on drink you'd like based on your preferences. Both or our drinks were unique and really tasty! It's really pricey.. but u absolutely get what u pay for

Cool and intimate club with excellent visuals and clean sound. The basement room has a great atmosphere. It is all about the music here. If you prefer open spaces, it might feel a bit small, but the energy makes up for it ✨

Great little techno club with good sound and lights. When we went there it was straight forward techno with not much of bling bling around it... Some folks in there but no too crowded, so enough space to dance. Everyone respected others space, no gorillas around either. 5/5 recommend 🙂

Really nice techno club in a Budapest cellar. Very nice ambiente, really dark with good lightshow and great acts. Personal and bar was very nice. But please stop photographing in the club, i even dislike a filming crowd but when the organisers themselves start photographing everyone with big flash light it really kills the vibe

€11 entry not really worth it imo, techno is nothing special, drinks are reasonable enough however, only 1 room open when we were there

The Techno Club is hidden Downstairs. Good Music but the crowd have me mixed feelings. Some women got harassed by men and the security on the floor and outside didnt do something about it. The lightshow and music is incredible 👌🏼

Great techno club! We really enjoyed it last Saturday. To go to the techno part (which is down stairs), you should choose a different queue from entering the other part of the club 😊

Lunch here was the best meal I've had in ten days in central Europe. Creative Hungarian cuisine. Excellent service, wine, flavor, presentation, decor. To improve: WC is cramped, credit card machine should not ask for a tip on top of the obligatory service charge.

A marvelous dining experience for our group who are all foodies. The wine suggestions were excellent. Each dish served was perfect, and wine pairing were spot on. Everyone said after our eight days in Europe this was everyone favorite meal of the trip.

Popular high-class restaurant in the Eiffel Palace building. We took the business lunch menu. Good variety of choices. It was tasteful, good textures and prices are matching the quality. They have a great wine selection and the sommelier obviously can help you. Service fee is automatically added to the bill. Table reservation is a must. Despite of the booking we had to wait for the table but the restaurant manager offered as a compensation a free round of aperitif (glass of sparkling wine 👍. They forgot the third course (dessert) but after the reminder they served us fast.
