Mission
Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcalá, founded in 1769, is the first Roman Catholic mission in California. It holds the title of 'Mother of the Missions' and is a significant landmark showcasing Spanish Colonial influence on Southern California's settlement. The mission's picturesque grounds are open for self-guided tours daily from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm.
The first californian mission founded by St. Junipero Serra. A wonderful and calm place, full of history. The Basilica is beautiful, the cell/house of the first friars is very interesting, convent and gardens are very nice. They also have a lovely museum and great souvenir shop. I'm so happy for visiting this place.

As someone who grew up in California and remembers the whole missions projects and had a field trip to a mission it was great to return to one over a decade later. So here is what you should know: Ticket price: $8.00 (Tickets can be purchased in person) Restrooms: Yes they have restrooms and yes they are clean. Parking: There’s plenty, I’d say mostly because it’s hardly ever full (at least when I’ve gone) Staff is friendly, there’s a gift shop mostly with religious pieces but also things like postcards and such. Atmosphere is nice and peaceful regardless of whether you’re in the church, the garden, the museum, etc. If you like history, art, and spirituality then this place is perfect because it blends those things wonderfully. They have a lovely garden with sculptures, plenty of art, and much history to read about and witness for yourself.

A rustic but beautifully appointed Mission in the heart of Mission Valley. The main sanctuary is beautiful with brown, copper hues all around. The grounds around the church are full of information and immaculate. There's a lovely fountain in the middle of the grounds which brings the visitor a wonderful sense of serenity. No problem with parking; lovely place to walk.
Ruth J — Google review
Beautiful Mission! This is the first Mission in California. Lots of history and plenty of information. Self guided tour was free. We got a map in the gift shop. The Alter in the main Church was beautiful. The museum had some great artifacts and information. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Absolutely beautiful. I don't go to San Diego without at least visiting thus mission. I've been to mass here a number of times as well. Always a peaceful visit and plenty for History buffs as well
Adam S — Google review
The history of this mission made the visit even more memorable. It didn't take much time to explore the property. I would recommend visiting the first mission of California.

Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced. Really beautiful scenery and a rich visual history experience!

4th mission church in California - Mission San Diego de Alcalá 🙏🏻 California’s first mission was founded on July 16, 1769 by Saint Junípero Serra, a Franciscan priest. The Mission was relocated to the present site in 1774 in order to be closer to the American Indian (Kumeyaay) villages, a reliable source of water and good land for farming.

Cathedral
Churches & Cathedrals
St. Joseph Cathedral, a significant church in San Diego, serves as the seat of the Diocese of San Diego and was constructed in 1874. The cathedral boasts life-size statues of saints, including Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II. Its stunning stained glass windows create an awe-inspiring atmosphere with sunlight streaming through them. The architecture and warm light filtering through the stained glass make it a welcoming space for visitors attending Mass or simply exploring its beauty.
Very beautiful, very holy, and very faithful church! The priest had a great homily! The parish is very active! Without doubt I strongly recommend going to Saint Joseph’s Cathedral! Know our Savior Jesus loves you and have a great day!❤️✝️🙏⚓️🕊️⛪️😃

Pretty cool cathedral if you ever wanna get down with The Lord and feel holy

Reaching a milestone in my pilgrimage to visit every Catholic church in San Diego County, I stepped into the awe-inspiring San Diego Cathedral, with stained glass windows that shimmer like stories come to life. Sunlight streamed through the magnificent stained glass windows of San Diego Cathedral. The soaring architecture and warm light filtering through the stained glass created a truly welcoming atmosphere. Free parking on Sundays in the nearby pay lot is an added bonus, making San Diego Cathedral a must-visit for any explorer of the city's religious heritage.
Juan G — Google review
Stood outside of the church at 3:30 PM no indication the church closes at 1 PM based on the signage in front of the church. Went to the rectory and was informed by someone that the church closes at 1 PM… This is a very welcoming church as you can tell, especially when there’s no signage indicating church hours… Don’t waste your time go to the Immaculata!
Andrew A — Google review
Beautiful church inside and out. Always love seeing another parish and never seen succulents inside of a church before such a nice touch. Without being said one should always get to mass early because parking there might be scarce depending on what time you go. Saint Joseph pray for us.
Jefferson A — Google review
I went here 4 days ago on Monday and it was closed.. it amead around 11 in the afternoon. I thought churches were always open in case someone needed to pray or whatever.. it was like the middle of the day and all the doors were locked. Other than that it's a beautiful Catholic church
Ken C — Google review
It was a very beautiful Catholic cathedral. There are many life size statues of many wonderful saints. There is also a new statue of Mother Teresa sank teresa and the Pope John it is gorgeous cathedral lovely lit and the acoustics are wonderful. For a mass today we had the I don't know how many pipes are in the Oregon but it's a big organ up in the loft and there was singing at the mass it was very spiritual. It reminded me of masses when I was a child absolutely lovely. There is a restroom and free parking.

Grace Church is a Bible-centered church that seeks to help people find God and establish a safe community where imperfect people can grow. They offer many ministries and activities for their members, making it an ideal place to meet likeminded people.
A wonderful sermon. This was my first day attending this church. And rarely do you find pastors speaking about how fasting brings you closer to God, closer to your spirit. I am aware many newly updated versions of the Bible removed verses about fasting, as I feel getting closer to Spirit is something modern-age doesn’t want us to have access to. The information center was very welcoming, and I was educated on programs and services the church provides by Mary (thank you ❤️). They also provide a mug, two cards, and some candy to newcomers of the church. Wonderful quality, and centered in the right spot, their heart. 100% recommend. It was a great experience.

Come to meet Jesus and to find community at a deeper level with people from the surrounding neighborhood of North Park and greater San Diego area! The preaching is faithful to the Bible and the mission gospel-centered. Practical lessons given weekly that encourage and challenge anyone seeking greater meaning, purpose, and to know God. We felt welcomed immediately and quickly met many friends we now consider family. The excitement is evident among the members and leaders of Grace Church who desire to share the truth and love of God with the community, the city, and the world!
Phil S — Google review
I visit San Diego almost monthly, today on my way to Grace, I prayed for God's guidance. No one knows me at this church, and every time I attend the people are so welcoming. Pastor Josh didn't realize when preparing todays message, he was preparing to answer my prayers! Praise God!
Barry H — Google review
Grace Church is family. I love the house church model of mid-week community and doing life together. We are a missional church and always have Biblically-based, Christ-centered sermons. I started over not knowing anyone in this area and it has become a family where I feel seen and loved. The Young Professionals group is fabulous for anyone new in town and there are a lot of young families here!
Sarah B — Google review
We love this church, it’s so hard to find a church that isn’t afraid to speak the truth yet does it with gentleness and respect. They truly walk that narrow line. We have been going to Grace now for 3 years and it’s only gotten better. House church has made our experience with the church more than a Sunday gathering, we have family. Thank you God please continue to bless this church!

Amazing church and great coffee! Multiple places to see the service too if you want to stay with your kids. They also have a new nursery and classrooms for different age groups

Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, established in 1925, is situated in San Diego's Little Italy. The church has been a source of solace for the families that have contributed to the area's development. It boasts beautiful paintings and statues that create a heavenly atmosphere. The church is a must-visit for its serene ambiance and stunning O Holy Night painting on the ceiling.
My Favorite Catholic Church. Father Joseph is usually nearby..very Diligent and Sincere as one might expect a Wonderful Priest to be..
Jeffrey — Google review
An essential visit if you want to understand old the San Diego community of Little Italy. This is an authenticly Italian expression of Roman Catholic art and architecture. Please keep in mind this is a sacred space for prayer and sacramental ritual - Catholic locals are here for spiritual practice and "tourist chatter" is to be avoided. Also, if a litergy is taking place (a Church service), best to keep cameras and cell phones off. If there is a ritual taking place, come back in an hour and you will have better freedom to walk around and take photos. This is a truly magnificent church.
David P — Google review
Absolutely beautiful church! I was thinking m San Diego for vacation and was looking for a church to attend both daily and Sunday Mass while there. I’m so happy I found this church. It appears to have been recently renovated. They artwork, stained glass, and tile work are magnificent to see even if you don’t attend Mass. The Rosary theme is well done and keeps Jesus Christ as the main focus and center. I was actually sad to head home knowing I wouldn’t be able to attend this church daily.
Scotty H — Google review
I discovered this beautifully remodeled Catholic Church in the lovely neighborhood of Little Italy in San Diego when my husband and I went to visit our son. The church is stunning, the masses I attended were presented in a reverent manner. I went to daily mass three days and a Saturday vigil mass with my husband. The priests each delivered a good homily as well. The people of the parish were welcoming. The gift shop and the parishioners who run and manage it are knowledgeable about their merchandise and happy to help their patrons. The lovely woman who answers the parish office number was very helpful with my questions about parking and the logistics of "getting into the church" for daily mass as the front doors to the church are not open for daily mass. I would be sure to call the parish office before attending if you are coming from out of town so you get these helpful details. There is also a very sweet adoration chapel (again call the parish office for details) and an outdoor Mary garden area. You can hear Father's homily from this lovely spot too.
Lynn H — Google review
In my quest to visit every Catholic Church in San Diego county I attended mass here. So far, it has the best paintings of our Religions history. This is an amazing church to pray. Very close to Down Town, in Little Italy. Plenty of free parking.
Juan G — Google review
It's been almost 20 years since I attended this church, and it's still as wonderful. Looks like the murals we're cleaned or updated since 2019 (and I don't remember the mosaics on the floor) and it's just stunning. Where there was once a small parking lot and tiny shop, there's now an outdoor seating area with tv for overflow (or taking your pups to church). There's s tiny statue of Mary in the curb, Also, really enjoyed Fr Joseph's sermon, so direct, impactful, honest, and funny.
Viva Y — Google review
The church is in the downtown Little Italy section of San Diego. It has been recently renovated and preserved for its 100th anniversary. It al has a large Catholic book store on site. It's worth a visit and an excellent place for prayer.

OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY IS A Very beautiful Catholic Church- traditional beautiful catholic statues of Our Blessed Mother, Jesus Christ and the Tabernacle is alter centered with many beautiful frescoes of the Rosary, The Stations of the Cross and lovely beaded stain glass windows. Parking is sparse - there is a little street parking and a small parking lot behind the church. There is a bookstore but it is rather expensive. $$$$. There are restrooms, and one is usually open for masses on weekdays. Confessions are every day before the noon mass. Come early as there is usually a line. There is a cry room for babies in the rear of the church.

The Catholic church at St Agnes is a very reverent and holy place with excellent sound systems and friendly people. The morning hours here are especially peaceful and wonderful with great sermons and homilies. Church America, on the other hand, does not have the same level of holiness or peace as St Agnes Catholic Church.
Beautiful, peaceful, humble and small traditional Catholic Church. In my quest to attend Catholic Mass in all of San Diego's Catholic Churches, I attended mass here. Very welcoming community at Sunday mass, 8 AM service.

Wonderful and friendly Catholic Church. We were visiting the area and went to Mass here. Beautiful old Church with lovely relics. Open and airy. Welcoming members and Priest. Front has stairs to enter but there are 2 side doors for easy walk in access. It is on a hill so there is some steep walking but I saw people in wheelchairs and walkers able to get in and out. There is parking in back of the Church and on the side streets.

This church is beautiful and the congregation is very friendly. We came in a minute after the opening hymn had started. The priest was still in the back of the church. In fact, we accidentally bumped him with the door as we walked in, and he smiled and said, "I guess that's what I get for standing in front of the door." He was very welcoming of us. I can't wait to return.

Non-denominational church
Church Tsidkenu San Diego is a highly recommended church in the area. It's known for its emphasis on prayer and the Holy Spirit's movement within the congregation. The church fosters a loving and supportive community, where individuals are encouraged to step out in faith and grow spiritually. With weekly prayer meetings and monthly all-night prayers with worship, it provides an enriching environment for those looking to deepen their prayer life.
Church Tsidkenu is not a church for your average Christian on Sunday service, it’s a place for you to encounter the presence of Jesus! WE LIVE SUPERNATURALLY!!! healing for people in Downtown, food for those hungry in Mexico, love for the broken-hearted…..But most important, LOVE for the lost 💙
Justin G — Google review
For everyone commenting—you have the right to speak about your experiences. Pastor Ben and Lydia are not more loved by Jesus than anyone else, and they have no power to silence you. There’s no need to fear them, no matter how much authority they think they have. It’s interesting how Pastor Ben responds to criticism. When a former member left a negative review, he immediately questioned their motives: “It doesn’t surprise me that you’re commenting after we asked you to step down from the prayer team.” But does that matter? Does the reason someone speaks up change whether or not what they said is true? Pastor Ben, your narcissism is peaking. You never question the motives of people who leave glowing reviews. By your logic, should we assume they’re just looking for favoritism or status in the church? Of course not. So why only discredit the people who criticize you? Because you enjoy praise but can’t handle accountability. Your response is telling—it proves you don’t want any negative discussion about your church. But here’s the truth: this is only the beginning. TK is still relatively new, and more people will speak out over time. It won’t just be a chorus of people singing your praises. The truth always comes to light so you need to learn how to respond without gaslighting people.

The weekend I went was because TSNL with Daniel Adams was there. Many deliverances and healings by both TSNL, Pastor Ben, Pastor Art Montgomery and the Fire Academy. The Body of Christ here at The Church of Tsidkenu are a beautiful family of worshippers and lovers of Christ Jesus and move in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Was saved in September 2023, got guided here by the Lord and this Church is AMAZING. What God has allowed me to experience and how much closer I am to Him in these short 4 months has been so beautiful. Do yourself a favor and come here, the Holy Spirit is powerful in this church.

God had put in my heart a message to go to church the night before, which was Saturday, but hadn’t decided which church. Sunday morning decided I’d rather go to Mission Bay Ski Beach to take a walk. Guess what I walked into? This church and the first to greet me was the head pastor. God has a sense of humor, He brought the church to me.
Noel A — Google review
Great Church to get fired up for Jesus especially if you’re looking to change the world for Christ. The Holy Spirit moves so freely through the whole church and everyone is encouraged and edified to step out in faith to your calling in Christ. Prayer is highly prioritized with weekly prayer meetings along with a monthly 12 hour all night prayers with worship (I highly recommend to enrich your prayer life). They also offer a great class called Fire Academy as well which walks you through the basics of what it looks like to walk out Mark 16 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”” ‭‭ Come visit a Sunday morning service and prepare your heart for an amazing encounter with God with an hour of powerful worship, the Word being proclaimed and ending with groups of prayer for healing, deliverance, etc. God is so good!

First Presbyterian Church of San Diego is a remarkable place that truly embodies the spirit of community and worship. Upon entering, visitors are often greeted by an incredibly talented worship team whose passion resonates through melodious tunes and harmonious voices, creating an uplifting atmosphere reminiscent of a celestial concert. The church boasts rich Biblical teachings that cater to a diverse congregation, welcoming individuals from various races, economic backgrounds, and generations.
I do not attend this church but went to see our son perform with the Pacific Coast Chorale. It's a BEAUTIFUL church with an impressive pipe organ and organ player, I can't remember her name, but she came out of retirement to play, and she was amazing. Folks were very welcoming.

Beautiful historical building. Architecture inside and out is gorgeous. We have attended the Resurrection Presbyterian worshipping community for the past few months and reall enjoy it. Biblical teaching is spot on. Love that Communion is celebrated every week.

Love First Pres. Rich, meaty Biblical teaching. Diverse congregation-- people of all races, economic status, walks of life, generations. Love the way they do music-- they combine contemporary and traditional, so it's often this cool fusion of drums, electric guitar, orchestra, and the choir. They also regularly use the pipe organ and have hymns. Sometimes there's a bluegrass Sunday! My girls have had a great experience with their children's program and also attend the church's school, City Tree. Also love their ministry to the homeless through Ladle. Beautiful space and community to worship God!

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a captivating Black History performance at Grace Covenant Christian Church of the Harvest. If you missed it, I highly recommend ordering the DVD! The atmosphere was electric, and Senior Pastor Apostle David Watkins delivered an inspiring message that truly resonated with everyone present. This church offers a unique worship experience that keeps you coming back for more—perfect for families looking to connect in a warm and inviting environment.
Super warm, hospitable, caring church. Message- encouraging, practical, talks of real relationship with God. You have to try it. Definitely will return. I can see their eyes were just so sincere and like that theres families there. And all ages. Beautiful people. They sang a song at the close of service that was about unity and helping others. I like whats encouraged here. And I like that they care to know you, your needs. Ive never felt so welcomed like this. I feel they really take care to detail and I feel want to be a place of excellence. Im glad i tried it

I feel the Spirit of the Lord GOD every time I walk into the sanctuary! The prayer time, the worship music, the testimonies, the preached WORD, the joy, the fellowship...I could go on and on! It all is firmly based in the Bible and inspires me to run harder and faster for JESUS!!

I just came from an awesome Black History performance at Grace Covenant Christian Church of the Harvest. If you were not there. Please order the DVD. Our senior pastor Apostle David Watkins was amazing. Okay everything was. This is a worship experience you can't get enough of. If you love having the family experience then you will truly love this atmosphere. I have experienced many churches through the years, but this one always make me long for Sunday mornings service and the Thursday Bible Study. On Tuesdays I can just lay all my caress at the altar and feel much better. There is something for all ages. I hope to see you there.

When I first visited Grace Covenant I was in desperate need of a church home. I had just given my life to Jesus but needed somewhere special to serve him. I was attending The Rock but not connected to it. I missed the closeness of a real "Church Home" and real praise & worship. I immediately felt loved and welcomed when I stepped into Grace. The genuine love of everyone drew me in but the praise & worship kept me there. I found a place to plant my feet and grow my roots. It has been 7 years I came to Grace on a Tuesday night prayer, and I now am raising my children in this Holy Ghost filled, God fearing, praise & worship lifting Church Home.
ERICA S — Google review
This is a spirit filled church! The worship was like no other. You will definitely feel the presence of the Lord! The Word is so rich. The senior Pastor breaks down the word of God so that it is simple to understand. I like how they have other Pastors that brings the word. They all have different ways but it is all powerful! This church spreads a lot of love and are very welcoming.

I came out here to go to school and I was looking for a home away from home. I found it when I came here! Not only do the people here show you so much love, they also preach the truth and you can tell that the relationships that the people have here with God are genuine. It is what inspired me to develop my own close and personal relationship with God, and the teachings that I have received here are what has brought me to this point in my relationship with God today! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this church for anyone who truly wants to feel the presence of the LORD and grow in his/her walk with Him. I give Grace Covenant Christian Church of the Harvest 5 stars all the way.

This is absolutely a biased review from someone who loves this church and have been an attendee for many years. Grace Covenant is shepherded by two amazingly gifted pastors. Both totally lead by the Spirit of God. The Senior Pastor , Apostle David Watkins and the Assistant Pastor, Renee Watkins teach the uncompromising truth according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you : Want to Understand the Word of God. Want the truth. Want to literally feel the anointing in the air. Want to learn how the Holy Spirit helps you to fight spiritually in today’s world!! Then you have to come to Grace Covenant Christian Church of the Harvest.Where we honor the Lord! FYI: When you first walk through the doors at Grace Covenant , the Love you feel.....that’s real!

Grace Covenant is a truly amazing church. Every time I go I feel the presence of God. This church does not sugar coat the gospel, they give it to you just the way it is written in Gods word. If you attend this church you will truely be trained to become a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. This church is not about religion but it is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Come receive yours this Sunday morning at 10AM.

Flood Church is a vibrant community that truly embodies the spirit of inclusivity and support. Rather than focusing on self-righteousness, this church emphasizes making a positive impact in the world. The pastoral team is genuinely caring, creating an inviting atmosphere for everyone, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. Special events like Easter celebrations feature delightful activities such as petting bunnies and stunning floral backdrops for memorable photos, showcasing Flood's commitment to family-friendly experiences.
Super welcoming staff and community of believers! I love the different ways to get connected and the support you get with your walk with Christ! I went to my first Christmas collective event this year and I was blown away with how upbeat and friendly everyone I interacted with was! This is a relaxed and informative church that welcomes you in wherever you are in your path with God. They truly follow the way of God by meeting you where you are at and helping you grow in your personal relationship with God and grow in community with not just church members but also the community of San Diego! Also I personally have joined and have been participating in the Floods Young Adult group and I have had an awesome experience so far with weekly meetings on Wednesday’s and a super fun retreat we went on this past November! I hope that God blesses this family of a church in their transition to a new building and to continue their amazing contributions to spread the love of God by being a movement of Hope and Healing!

I was going and giving $ for 10 years and could not connect with any members except for one who reached out. Going to the moms groups I was ostracized because I was going through a divorce the other moms made me feel like I had the plague. When I was going through a difficult time with my kids health, I tried to reach out to the pastor I was pretty much ignored. I think if you're a college student you would really like this place if you're single mom, I don't think so. I think I've given up on churches after that experience.

King's Cross Church of San Diego is a vibrant community that truly embodies the spirit of fellowship and support. Since moving to San Diego, many have found a warm welcome and an authentic sense of belonging among its members. The church emphasizes solid biblical teachings, led by Pastor Obed, who provides insightful expository preaching that resonates deeply with attendees.
Great new church. Casual atmosphere. Sort of a mix of Baptist and non-denominational. Lots of young adults. Pastor is a good Bible teacher that adds in humor, stories and illustrations; I enjoy him! Members worked together and gave the community a wonderful outdoor service and carnival.

Where to begin! My husband and I moved to San Diego August of 2020. It was nerve wracking to be moving to a new place amidst COVID and the isolation that it brings. We attended King’s Cross our first weekend here and fell in love! The hospitality of this church is amazing. We instantly felt connected and a part of a community. They do a wonderful job staying on top of COVID regulations and do what they can to keep people safe. The teachings are straight from scripture and Pastor Obed always provides historical context to help the church body understand the words more deeply. We spend time during service actually reading through chapters of the Bible as a church and not just skimming through verses here and there. The messages are so rich and biblically sound. We love that Pastor Obed always emphasizes that we are “a church family on mission with Jesus!”. We truly feel like we found family here in San Diego. P.S. The views you get at this outdoor church aren’t too bad either! :-)

I’ve been going to King’s Cross since 2018. I’m so grateful for the church’s commitment to put Christ first in all things, Pastor Obed’s faithful, expository teaching, and for the authenticity of this community. I was welcomed immediately and found a strong community that I can really do life with as we worship and build God’s kingdom together. I also met my husband here! Obed married us in 2020 and the community has supported us well during our first years of marriage. I’ve been very blessed to be a part of this church and to be on mission with them. I’m amazed at what God has done here in the past five years as so many have been turned to Christ. So many who were wounded by the church in the past have come home and found a place where they don’t need to perform or pretend. Come and see what God is doing in this community!

My journey back to Christ began around two years ago when I came to a stark realization: the New Age movement had so poisoned my mind that I felt constantly fatigued, sluggish, and sick. Worst of all, I began to doubt whether I was truly saved. A good friend, who was accompanying me on my spiritual journey, recommended Grace Bible Church. She admired their faithfulness to God's word and wanted to steer me away from the histrionics that plague some modern churches today. This is a church focused on God's word, not on manipulating emotions. Through my experience with the New Age movement, I had learned the hard way that while feelings might deceive, the word of God can always be trusted. I met Pastor Steve, and he not only presented the word in a way that made me feel unjudged but also ensured that I learned something new every time we met. He has been patient with my progress, and I'm thrilled that he was recently appointed head pastor. If you are seeking a reformed church that is Bible-based, focused on community and family, and led by a strong, fearless Christian pastor, come check out Grace Bible Church. You won't be disappointed!

I was present at to a sermon this past Sunday on 9/22 from Leann and it was the most volition, Christian nationalist, pro-Trump rhetoric I’ve ever heard. There was a call to violence regarding the November election and about how we “live in peace but prepare for war” in regards to this upcoming election. She admitted to a hit snd run in her sermon - saying she was trying to go around someone standing at a cross walk and when she decided to go, the pedestrian jumped out in front of her “just because he could” - and how she wanted to get out and say something, but instead she decided not to involve herself in “petty battles” and drove away. She admitted that she didn’t take any kind of accountability for her actions. She also talked about how her son and her have nightmares and mocked therapy. I cannot find any recordings of it online and I can only imagine that that’s because they don’t want the public hearing those recordings. She also talked about the “travesty of proposition 8” - it was super disgusting. This place is definitely a cold and talks a lot about tithing. They don’t want anything but your money. It’s a scam that allows you to pay for your avoidance and taking responsibility for your actions and how they relate to Christ. There is nothing about this church that is Christlike. They preach community, but they don’t actually help the community. They only help “their community.” - so basically it’s a pay to play scam but for religion. Don’t go here. I had to get up and walk out, especially when she started talking about the glory of Trump. Save yourselves and your children from engaging in this church.

Housed in a grand 1915 building, the Museum of Us, formerly known as the San Diego Museum of Man, is dedicated to challenging colonialism and honoring the Kumeyaay Nation. Through diverse cultural perspectives and collaborations with indigenous communities, it aims to foster human connection and self-reflection. The museum's iconic dome and tower make it a standout in Balboa Park. It offers unique event spaces like St.
Very interesting museum. I particularly enjoyed the PostSecret exhibit, Egypt exhibit and one about animals and humans. Plus you should check out the Cannibal Museum next door (included in your entry)! Neither are huge but they are interesting and the museum does an excellent job honoring the artifacts and the cultures they came from. I wished the signage had been a bit more clear and descriptive about what you were looking at in exhibitions. Buying admission into the separate museums at the park does get pricey, but I felt the individual ticket price was reasonable. It would be nice if there were one discounted pass you could buy for entry into all the museums or a few of them.
Emma V — Google review
I went here this past Tuesday which was resident free entry into the museum. It is a month of July so it was packed with kids and their parents or going with some type of camp. Although I still had a great experience visiting the museum! There's a lot to see and I really like how they exhibits were structured. And made it feel a lot less busy than it actually was. There's a lot of amazing history, best reference through my photos, highly recommend it if you are visiting Balboa Park to stop by.
Marjon F — Google review
Some exhibits were good when it came to the cultural history like the Mayans, local native American and Egyptian displays. Many of the real artifacts were given back to the nation's they were from. The left side of the museum has become far left ideology like the name change from museum of man to museum of us. The cannibal exhibit was interesting in a Ripley's believe it or not style theme and feel. Definitely do the tower tour. Lots of great san diego history taught dating back to about 1915. The tour guide we had was knowledgeable, energetic and so sweet. She made our day.

We went today as the one thing I wanted to do on my daughter's birthday trip. She was not enthused to go to museum but she LOVED it and so did I! It was fascinating and has something for everyone from beer to Mayans to border crossing to Hapa to race. Our favorites were the Race, Hapa, and Post Secret exhibits. The cannibalism exhibit was awesome and I loved the interactive sections. Also the staff were sweet and helpful and let me charge my mobility scooter. Totally recommend!!
Celeste A — Google review
The museum had some interesting exhibits, the first upon entering is a display explaining why they changed the name from Museum of Man to Museum of Us. Every exhibit seemed to have two segments, one celebrating ancient civilizations, and cultures, and the other half demonizing European and American civilization. I had expected a bit more "history of humankind" and less "here is an entire wing about race relations in America". Across the street is a much smaller museum about cannibalism, which if you buy a ticket to one they let you go to the other as well. The cannibalism exhibits were interesting, though they again spent a large portion of the museum telling you "Europeans did bad things, and also cannibalism" with only a few small mentions of other groups, several of which they specify were not likely cannibals but labeled as such by Europeans. This part of the museum was a bit more interactive, with a few displays for you to touch, and some "game" displays. For the ~$20 to get into both, I'd say it's worth it to check out the displays if you're already here. Wouldn't go out of my way to check these in particular out though.

This used to be called the museum of man. Very educational exhibits. Free entrance for e.b.t card holders. You also recieve a recipt dot the cannibal exhibit across the street as well as in and out privileges. It was cool to see the Egypt tombs/coffins. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Old Town, the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is a stunning testament to history and faith. Completed in 1917, this beautiful church stands on the site where California's first Catholic Mass was celebrated back in 1602 by Captain Sebastian Vizcaino and his priests. Originally marked by a simple tent for their gratitude service, it has evolved from an adobe structure built in 1851 into a welcoming sanctuary that invites visitors from all walks of life.
The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Town San Diego is a stunning piece of history and faith. Completed in 1917, the church was built on the site of California’s first Catholic parish, which dates back to the late 18th century when Father Junípero Serra established the Mission San Diego de Alcalá nearby. The church is a beautiful example of Spanish Revival architecture, with its whitewashed walls, red-tiled roof, and an iconic bell tower that stands as a beacon of San Diego’s Catholic heritage. Inside, the church exudes a sense of peace and reverence, featuring stained-glass windows and intricate woodwork. As the spiritual heart of Old Town, it continues to serve as a place of worship and community gathering. It’s a quiet reminder of the city’s rich cultural and spiritual roots.

This is a beautiful church. It's not huge but it was nice to visit. It is located next to the Old Town San Diego historical part, so is partially educational. But it is also an active church.

As a professional photographer for over 12 years doing event photography I was booked to do a communion at this church, before agreeing I asked the client to check if they allow photographers as many churches do not for this event. The client was told it was ok. When I arrived I checked in with the ladies running the church and asked if there was any rules or places to avoid. The only spot was the alter area which is typical. The ladies introduced me to their photographer for the event and I let her know I would stay out of her way out of respect. From almost the start the other photographer would go out of her way to tell me I couldn't stand in places, grabbing my arm and pulling me etc. Over a 45 minute period I went to the other side of church twice both time using the side walkways and walking all the way to the back of the church to cross over not getting in anyone's way. During the second time the other photographer again grabbed my arm and I told her bluntly to stop touching me. She told me I was causing a disturbance by crossing the church and wanted me to leave. One of the ladies who gave me the rules was next to her and I asked to talk to her off to the side. She obviously took the others side and asked me for proof I was allowed to shoot the event despite having no problem 30 minutes before.. I was told I had to sit with the client and shoot from there. I have never been so disrespected on a shoot, I will not be along further jobs here

This was a stunningly beautiful church. Simple yet breath taking. I loved the old wood and the alter was gorgeous. So peaceful and well maintained. The light shining in at just the right times makes this even more amazing.

This is another great place to talk to God. The environment is beautiful, the grounds are amazing. It is a good place to go to pray and give thanks to our Lord and Savior.

This humble Catholic Church is rich with history, right in the the heart of Old Town and dare to say is likely more frequented by tourists than locals, it's foundation stone was placed in 1868 and it was the first church built in California outside of the mission system.

Nestled in a river valley, Bonita Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in San Diego that offers a classic William Bell design. Despite being often overlooked, it demands good shot-making without punishing players. The course features a driving range, restaurant, and pro shop. It's known for its wide-open layout and well-maintained greens. Additionally, the venue serves as a picturesque wedding location with comfortable facilities and delectable culinary offerings.
Excellent course! We played our second of 2 18s here and really enjoyed it. Feels like a very upscale course, quick greens but a good challenge. Best "turn dog" of the golf trip weekend. Would definitely play again!

Bonita Golf Course is in great condition for August on about 80% of the holes. The rest were still okay but some fairway damage. We really enjoyed it. The holes are mostly flat but there are still plenty of challenges. If we were not playing with regulars we would have gotten lost making our way from hole to hole. Not laid out or signed very well. But still fun. The green rolled quick and true and were in good shape. Around the outside of the course there is a hiking/walking trail, that had people riding horses. Great treat in the San Diego area for not too much money.
Rebecca M — Google review
$72 dollars and every other green had massive chunks taken out, no ball washer station and even no yardages at the tee boxes. How is this place more expensive than Balboa? I asked a lot of the regulars if it typically takes 5 hours to finish the 18, they said yes. LONG day of waiting at the tee box. It gets a star for layout though. The layout is a good time with a lot of circling back to the club house and snack shack.

Definitely, recommended if you’re on a tight budget. Our wedding theme was Simple Elegant. We’re both minimalist. We drove down from AZ, great thing we managed to pack light for the decor etc., our friends helped too. Hands down! Working with Keli for 9 months has been rewarding. She is great a communicator, a team player, attentive to details, visionary, flexible and supportive. She is not a typical salesman. You will not burnt out your wallet with this venue. No hidden fees. This don’t happen often, surprisingly, we paid less than what we originally budgeted for the venue cost. That alone is a blessing! On the wedding day, her team was so kind to working with us during the ceremony, we were 30 mins delay and had to push back the lunch schedule as well. We did not get extra charged. They took care of my high anxiety with their patience. The food was 100% amazing. Great choice ordering the lemon chicken and beef brisket buffet style. Our wedding guests could not stop talking about the delicious meal. The space was indeed what we asked for any sizes of 50-300 guests. We had 120 guests attended on a Saturday afternoon (paid for 150 people no refunds unattended), there were still plenty of space inside and available seatings. The outside was stunning. People love the Mountain View background and greenery golf grass. I enjoy the easy access to the parking lot and clubhouse. We brought our own desserts which saved us a ton of money. They provided microphones, iPhone adapter for our iPhone Spotify playlist songs, a podium, refrigerator, table cloths, easel, and extra outside set up tables all for free of charged. I can go on and on! Bottom line, I don't have bad news to say about this venue. Give her a call, be up front what you're looking for, she'll work with your budget. #nudrew2023 #staymarried #weddingvenue #glorydays

Great course. A little pricey, but what isn’t these days you get what you pay for, twilight rate is good value. Weekends are much busier than weekdays. Staff and facilities always seem to perform better than comparably priced alternatives. I’m not impressed with the eight dollar “tall boys” a tall boy is 24 ozs not a pint. Attendant at snack shack is nice but she likes to lean over the receipt when you decide if to tip. (lol no taxes on tips is only going to bring more entitlement) Want to remove a star or two for that but it should really be about the golf course and conditions which are fair for the price. Snack shack professionalism and pricing is the low point of the entire facility. BYOB or keep a clear head to focus on the game. Main grill near the clubhouse is good.

Fun course! Wide enough so you won't lose too many balls. But a bit of a circus trying to stay on course. Some holes overlap making it a bit tricky but not a reason to skip this course. Unfortunately we played at 5 PM and there were no carts available 😢! So we had to walk the entire course... 😤😫. The Bar & Grill has a great menu and FULL Bar!!!

Breakfast on the Fareway! Highly recommend the trifecta of French toasts and pancake mix and match $18.00. The pancakes were topped with lemon sauce and fresh Raspberries, so delicious. The banana foster was scrumptious, too! I typically order omelets, so I was living on the edge, and I'm happy to report I survived. I recommend sharing this order. Chula Vista Golf Course & Venue is a classic golf course nestled in a river valley, designed by the renowned Billy Casper. While it boasts an abundance of trees, the layout may lack some variety and its condition can be inconsistent. However, it offers a solid golfing experience at a reasonable price. As a wedding venue, Chula Vista Golf Course provides couples with a picturesque setting and elegant event spaces to create their perfect day.
We hosted our Babies in Bloom baby shower at this venue and couldn’t have been happier. The staff was incredibly attentive the entire time—constantly checking in to make sure everything ran smoothly and that each of our stations stayed tidy and stocked. The food was delicious—we chose the sunrise breakfast buffet option with a mimosa station and danishes, and our guests raved about all of it! What made the experience even better was how easy they made the setup and tear-down. Their team handled everything with care, which allowed us to actually enjoy the day. Unlike other venues, they don’t nickel-and-dime you with extra charges for every little thing. Big shout out and thank you to Rebecca and Breanna - their responsiveness and kind professionalism made the planning and event stress-free and enjoyable! Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run space for their next event!

While the conditions aren’t the best, give them a little break since a year ago the entire golf course was under water! But for $29 to walk on a weekday you really can’t complain. The staff is friendly and the greens are in pretty good shape. We had to wait on most tees but still finished in 4.5 hrs. Glad to see a local muni still thriving and at an affordable rate! Course is super flat so it’s really walkable too.
Andy H — Google review
The golf course is in a great location. The fairways are pretty beat up. The greens are decent. The bunkers need new sand. It’s probably one the best walkable courses in the area. It has a lot of potential. It needs a lot of work. I played during weekday, and the reason for the four stars is due to the price. It’s very affordable. For that price and decent greens, it’s great to get a round done.
Berserk T — Google review
Do not ever golf here. They charged 80 bucks for this quality. Sprinklers going off mid day 85% of the corse covered in dirt and pot holes. But hey the greens are 2.5 stars worthy
Casey D — Google review
First things first.. Matt in the Pro shop is very professional and respectful. Chula Vista has always been decent in my experience, sure there's plenty of dirt in the fairways but they're trying real hard. #2 & 5 fairways were just resodded and hopefully it's just the beginning. The tee boxes are mostly grass now and the greens are the best part of the course. More golfers need to fix their ball marks on the greens, I found myself fixing at least 3 per hole. Shame on you if you don't feel you need to. Pace of play was good for a Thursday morning. Good day of golf.

Great venue for family events. I have attended quince's and a Mother's day brunch. The price point is reasonable and the quality and service is outstanding. The food selection is an array and variation of breakfast and lunch. I recommend visiting at least more than once.

Absolutely horrific course. Each fairway is 70% hard packed dirt. Paid for 18 holes but course was so backed up only got to play 9. Staff is really nice but incredibly disappointing. Not worth discounted price let alone the full price. Save your money and go to another course.
Nawal R — Google review
A couple of the holes were under construction and we were not advised of this. The tee boxes for these 2 holes were moved up and it made for an interesting round. The fairways are quite dry. The greens were very fast. Still, it was a nice day on the golf course.

The parish community at Saint Jude's Shrine of the West started with 100 families in 1946. Reverend Joseph C. Di Cristina and the community's support was necessary for its founding, as there were few Catholic churches in Southcrest at that time. The priest on Sunday mass is funny and he knows how to lift your spirit. The choir sings so beautifully, and it is a beautiful feeling to see fellow Catholics join in song.
Amazing church, I was fortunate to go to the relic of the St Jude tour.

On my quest to visit every church in San Diego county, I visited Saint Jude's Shrine for Sunday Mass. 4 stars only because there is almost no parking and ss of October 2022, they are still making everyone wear a face mask 😷. ♿ Parking available and access to church as well. Welcoming church.

I’m very disappointed with the office staff at St. Jude’s Church. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever came back to the line. Eventually, I had to hang up because no one answered. I never received a call back or any follow-up. This kind of experience makes it really hard to feel supported or welcomed when reaching out for help or information. I hope this can be addressed moving forward.

If you are immunocompromised or elderly, probably not the church to go to. After waiting 15 min for mass to start, father came in wearing a mask. After distribution of communion he told us how he was sick, and even his medication made him sick waking him with a bitter taste (assuming paxlovid for covid), but felt it was more important to speak the word. And when asking the people what was more important, one man tried to speak up twice but was told "he couldn't hear" and continued to mock and belittle elderly people who won't take a missal. Has it ever occurred that maybe someone might have dementia, and doesn't know what the missal is, or maybe at their age their vision is poor and they can't see, or they have seen too many people lick their fingers or blow their nose and turn pages? Instead if mocking them, have compassion and not judge. At least they made it to mass. I'm upset because 5 people I was with are immunocompromised and elderly, and weren't given a warning that the person giving them communion was sick. And KNEW HE WAS SICK!!! (BUT still asked for prayers for his upcoming retreat) I'll be praying...praying that illness didn't spread.

Beautiful church, very big! Spacious lots of seating available. There is street parking and 2 small parking lots. It seems to have a very nice community unity. They sell breakfast after mass in the parish. There is music during mass and you can also purchase candles from a vending machine. The only church I've ever seen a vending machine for candles inside. It's a huge property.

The Rock Church is a place where people can find hope and restoration. They have outreach ministries that help the lost find their way back to Jesus. The church has more than 100 discipleship ministries that help strengthen the community.
Hard to find places of worship these days where the pastor is truly inspirational, heartfelt, & makes his messages apply to every day life. When I lived in San Diego, this was my go-to church. I still haven’t found another one like it since moving to Florida. Happy I can still listen to Pastor Miles preach God’s word online ☺️

First time visitor experience: - Very loud music. Sitting in the back helped for someone not used to it. - Love the family children dedications! - Lots of Padres clothing. Didn't expect so much. Loved it! - Biblical preaching, but too much humor. Yes, the audience was entertained, but in my opinion, a tad bit more serious approach to the sermon would make it much more powerful and allow for more audience control. - Seems like a healthy church from first glance. Definitely weak in terms of fellowship (many people came and immediately left), but strong in many other points.

Was recommended this church by a good friend. Definitely felt the holt spirit in that building! Thank you for making my wife and I feel home. What an amazing worship and sermon by this organization. Wishing this community nothing but love for the great works you are doing here. Happy trails from Arizona!!
Christian — Google review
I’ve been at the Rock Church for 12 years and Pastor Miles is a gifted communicator, but as a leader he avoids addressing deeper, more meaningful topics. Because of this, spiritual growth here feels limited, and many will find themselves stagnant rather than challenged. The church culture leans heavily toward a “safe,” almost progressive mindset that doesn’t inspire bold faith. As a Christian, you deserve a place where you can be stretched, grow, and be led with conviction—this is likely not that place.
Stephen B — Google review
This church has a very welcoming vibe about it. Pastor Miles is inspiring and everyone there is positive and upbeat ready to share God's word. I feel good when I leave here!
Charlene W — Google review
Very man-centered preaching. You will get a message of what you need to do with no mention that it will not be possible without the help of the Spirit, which is the most important part. Worship music is not great, but it is carried by the sound system. First 40 minutes are just announcements and bad worship music.
Christian B — Google review
My family and I have been searching for a church like this for a long time. We are extremely happy here, yes it’s a larger setting but everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoy the worship music, the service and the time spent learning. The church also offers baptism events every so often and we were recently baptized three weeks ago at Crown Point and it was such a wonderful experience. They don’t pressure you into anything but teach you the word. The church has The Rock Kids which is a fun childcare center, they also sell refreshments and a small shop is located at the back end of the lobby. Parking lot does tend to get full and driving out of the lot can be a little of challenge due to foot traffic.

Recently just stayed at the hotel after it was renovated, and there are so many things wrong I don't even know where to begin. -You can hear everything from other people's rooms when they go to the bathroom talking, even people in the hallways you hear all the noises, I hear a guy hawking constantly, It almost sounds like he's in the same room. -the air conditioning panel doesn't want to work half the time It turns on and off and doesn't stay at a consistent room temperature, trust me it's more knowing than I'm making it out to be -The light switches and fans tend to turn on and off by themselves so a lot of times you'll be in a room and the lights will just turn off -if you want to go out the sliding door in the back whoever designed the curtains basically did it wrong where they're in your way so it's impossible to slide them out of the way, they go to the left and the doors also on the left so no matter what you do it's kind of in your way and you have to fight to get through the sliding curtains. -shower is he the super hot or not enough, it's a very temperamental -The room staff, was really bad, half the time they didn't make the bed, a lot of times the dirty towels they would just fold up so they didn't have to wash them, for example there was a towel that had a bunch of sand on it that we'd used after the beach, I found that same towel with a bunch of dirt all over in it folded up nice and neat....

This is a nice facility. We came as a management team of about 20. The people, the service was all great. The location is quiet. The hotel and clubhouse facility are a bit worn, yet kept clean. It's not an Omni but it's not a Motel 6 either. I would say the facilities themselves were adequate yet needing some new carpet. The appearance aside what made our stay a wonderful experience was the quality of the food and the service we experienced. It was an enjoyable stay.

I LOVE this course so much. It’s fun, interesting, beautiful and technically challenging. If you time it correctly you can find a tee time under $150. Even if you can’t, I would be willing to splurge to play here again. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the clubhouse and all the other amenities.

The Immaculata Catholic Church, located on the University of San Diego campus, is considered one of the most stunning Catholic churches in San Diego. Its Spanish-style architecture and impressive bell tower create a picturesque backdrop for any ceremony. Inside, visitors are greeted by a serene and elegant atmosphere, with a magnificent blue dome and beautiful stained glass windows. The church also offers welcoming Sunday masses celebrated in English, featuring inspiring homilies.
Beautiful church first inside mass in sat. 9/14 surprised nice music, outside church beautiful view always came here for the views, came back 10/19 sat. 10/20 sun hope USD Catholic Church care about the country vote for freedom

Attended Easter mass and had no problems with parking or seating. It's a warm and welcoming parish where all were greeted warmly. The cruciform architecture is on proud display with stunning stained glass filling the clerestory in every section. The church has incredible attention to detail everywhere you look without seeming gawdy. It is beautifully maintained. But that is just a building. The true beauty of a church is better measured by its members and it's culture which comes from parish leadership. Everyone we met and saw interacted with genuinely welcoming hearts and were very gracious, all while being inundated with newcomers and nonparish members. If you have the chance, add this to your list of places to visit whether you wish to attend mass or seek a quiet moment of reflection.

On my quest to visit every Catholic Church in San Diego county, I attended mass here on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The mass was celebrated in English, and the priest gave a very inspiring homily. I was mostly impressed by the beauty of the church and the warmth of the parish community. I recommend attending mass at this Church... Just such a beautiful and welcoming church to worship in!

Truly a beautiful, architectural church in San Diego. Parish is welcoming, music uplifting, and the Reverend engaging. With such an inspiring place, atop a hill overlooking out towards the Bay and Western Horizon, it’s easy to enter a mindset of gratitude, community, and prayer.

Immaculata Parish at the University of San Diego is a majestic Spanish‑Revival church, dedicated in 1959. With its iconic blue mosaic dome, red tile roof, cruciform layout, and soaring bell tower, it seats about 900. Adorned with Italian chapels, stained glass, and marble, it serves both students and the community.

Beautiful! Parking was difficult during the week, parked in the garage and walked about 5 minutes to get there. Give yourself time.

Beautiful cathedral. Very nice mosaics and stained glass. Designated parking on the site (don't park anywhere else without a university permit).

Truly faith-driven ministry here, though as is expected with Fr. Matthew Spahr in charge. Even after several years of being a parishioner here, it always feels so special to enter into this church for mass. Even if you're not Catholic or religious at all, it's still worthwhile to visit, if just to admire the beauty of the architecture and reflect under its many mosaics and stained-glass windows.

"The Church by The Lost Abbey" is a unique brewery located in Cardiff-By-The Sea, one of four locations from The Lost Abbey. It offers 23 taps featuring regular and seasonal brews available in various sizes. Visitors can enjoy board games while sipping on their favorite beers. The setting is quite impressive, with benches made from church pews and a well-designed bar area. Customers can order food using a QR code and pay on the spot, then pick up their order next door.
Very cool spot located not too far from the Padres stadium! Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, parking on street and across the street were both open. The bartender (I spaced his name) was knowledgeable about the beer and had a very chill presence. Beers were as described and served cold! Sonoran dog and elote cup were fresh and delicious. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a quick brew and bite.

Stopped by this beautiful Brewery/Bar after eating at the Doggos Gus next door. This bar is convenient located and you can order from Doggos from inside the bar with a tablet - how cool is that! The atmosphere is very unconventional since it looks like the inside of the church but very cool - even has the church pews for seating. There is a large communal table in the middle with booths on the sides. There’s a bar counter and a large selection of beers to choose from! I had the Shoreveza Mexican Lager and the Every Everything West Coast IPA. Both great selections a easy drinks. Will definitely be back to try more!

I love when places repurpose different buildings like library coffee shops and this works well for a brewery. If it was just the small church it would be one thing but they also have a nice courtyard with hanging lights that could stand on its own. The beer itself was good but not typically what I like. What I go for usually is the super hazy ones and these were mostly hoppy but my wife liked them. Overall a cool concept and a fun place to swing in for a beer.

This is a must stop when in San Diego! Mondo (sorry if I misspelled it) was running the tap room and was super friendly and picked out a couple beers based on my preferences. Chill atmosphere, great setting, and I will definitely be back when I’m in town!

Excellent little brewery with fabulous beers. Wide variety of beer styles on tap, plenty of beers to go in cans and bottles. The atmosphere was fine, not very busy, food available next door and friendly service.

A unique concept - brewery in the former church! The service and atmosphere is great. There is also a place next door that serves decent food. It is dog friendly and a lot of people bring their pets. However, beer is average at best. I tried their stout and it tasted like a mix of moonshine and beer.
Volodymyr K — Google review
Such a strange vibe but I'm a big supporter. It's located in an old church and their beer selection are variations on church themes (I got the Jesus, Mary, & Joseph IPA for example). The inside is pretty well-preserved in terms of it being a church but we sat outside, which is the way to go. Tons of lovely booths outside. Easily accessible with easy parking. The beers themselves were just okay and I do wish they had a bit more interesting options, but it was a nice spot to pop into.

Father Ricardo is one of the biggest blessing this church has received. His homily are so relatable to the younger and older crowd. Going to confession he makes it so easy. He doesn’t judge and makes sure that you know you’re not a bad person for sinning. I pray everyday that the lord doesn’t take him away from us as he is a big reason on why I returned to my faith.

In my ongoing journey to experience all the Catholic churches in San Diego County, Our Lady of Angels stole the show. Ample, well-lit parking made the arrival stress-free, and the wide doorways and readily available ramps ensured everyone felt welcome. But it was the heart of the church that truly impressed me. The warm sunlight cascading through stained glass windows illuminated a serene sanctuary, and the air buzzed with a gentle hum of quiet prayers. Father's homily wasn't just informative, it was a tapestry woven with personal anecdotes and profound wisdom that resonated deep within me. I left feeling uplifted and connected, like I had found a hidden gem in the heart of San Diego. Thank you, Our Lady of Angels, for reminding me of the beauty of faith and community.

What a horrible experience i had @ this church. The people I met outside of church looked so approachable from a distance until they told me to leave just in my time of need as I was begging for help as some men in a van were following me. The man and women near him told me " there is no help for you here. Go to the jack n the box find help there. Evil godless non fearing catholics. I live nearby with my beautiful family. always have admired this church from afar and this is how me and my Autistic son were treated by this man and all the women did and said nothing. That's not a man of God.

Mt. Woodson Castle is a stunning and unique hidden gem that offers a beautiful venue for weddings. The castle's historical charm provides an unforgettable fairytale-like setting for couples' special day. The staff, including Peyton, Brooke, Kelsey, Sophia, and Kaitlyn, work tirelessly to ensure that every detail is just right. While the venue is absolutely beautiful and romantic, some guests may find it challenging as the only bathroom is located inside the castle itself.
Wow, where to even begin! The moment my husband and I finished our tour of Mt. Woodson Castle, we knew this had to be our wedding venue. The castle itself is gorgeous and such a cool historical place to get married. The grounds are so well maintained--the oak trees, flowers and other natural foliage created such a beautiful and romantic environment for our outdoor spring wedding. It’s one of those places where if you wanted to, you could get away with very minimal decor and/or florals because the property has so much natural beauty just on its own. The most appealing part of getting married here second to the actual location is the amazing team and resources that come with it! Mt. Woodson comes with a full service catering team and bar services (Personal Touch Dining), a day-of coordinator, organized rehearsal, venue manger support every step of the way with a production meeting to coordinate all the fine details, rentals, a room filled with complimentary decor you can use for your wedding day, lawn games for guests, etc. It was such an easy choice for someone like me who wanted choices and control over many aspects of my wedding, but appreciated how organized and painless Mt. Woodson made many aspects of the planning process by offering them in one place. I would like to personally recognize Kelsey and Sophia (Mt. Woodson’s venue sales manager and event producer) for being so awesome and assisting me in planning this wedding via the multitude of emails/questions I sent their way! They were always prompt, kind, and extremely helpful. I never felt like I was being a nuisance and knowing I had an approachable team to reach out to was incredibly important to me. :-). I would also like to thank Kaitlyn for being the true MVP as my assigned day-of-coordinator and absolutely KILLING IT with her leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail. She placed (and packed up!) all of my decor, organized basically every moment of the day, and made sure our wedding was as beautiful and perfect as we could have ever hoped for. You are a gem, Kaitlyn. <3. Thank you Mt. Woodson!
Tracy P — Google review
We had our wedding here on June 6th and it was absolutely everything we hoped for and more :) What made Mt. Woodson perfect for us: - highly professional and friendly staff from our first tour to the day and communication afterwards, special shout-out to our day-of coordinator Jessica and Derek & Kelsey who worked with us while planning - Stunning outdoor and indoor venue, so you can have the ceremony & dinner outside and then switch inside for the party and dessert. Bonus: in the worst case of bad weather you still have a fantastic place for your wedding instead of a back-up tent solution. And you can go until 11pm while other venues limit the party to 10pm. - Amy's Closet is filled with items to use free of charge and they allow DIY flowers/decor which was important to me since I am artistic and wanted to give my wedding a personal touch. Only thing you have to do is assign a person resposible for set-up & take down but our day-of coordinator was so sweet to lend a hand too. - Food was fantastic! We opted for 2 carving stations & buffet style dinner but they also offered plated menus for our guests with dietary restrictions. Our guests were complimenting the food and many went back for seconds and vegan & vegetarian guests were happy with their plates too. Plus: you get to take home the delicous left-overs- they even packed a beautiful to-go plate separately for the bride & groom. - Plenty of parking with option to leave the car over night. Just beware that Ramona is a bit remote so it is not quite as easy to catch a ride, so preordering transportation makes sense. There is some stairs and uneven paths but myself as a bride and all other guests in heels were getting around just fine and also our older guests had no complaints. They were also very accomodating of my brother who is in a wheel chair and they had bathrooms that were accessible for him. Thank you again to the whole Mt.Woodson staff for the BEST experience ever!

Our experience with this venue was amazing to say the least. We started off working with Peyton then we worked with Kelsey and Sophia who were incredible! They were very responsive and so so kind. They kept us up to date as we got closer to the wedding and answered any questions I had in a very timely manner. The venue was beautiful and the food was so tasty as well. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our time at the venue and working with everyone. And our day-of coordinator Sam was the best hands down! She was on top of everything for us making sure the rehearsal went smooth, answered any questions we had, and always made sure we were good on our wedding day. I'm so thankful to have been able to work with everyone at Mt. Woodson and Personal Touch Dining. I wish I could do it all over again to relive our wedding day!!

Mt. Woodson Castle was a dream come true for my husband and I. This historical castle provided us with such an unforgettable fairytale-like wedding, and we are eternally grateful to the staff who made this possible! Kelsey, Sophia, and Kaitlyn worked hard with my husband and me to plan and coordinate everything to be "just right". They dealt expertly and kindly with my struggles as a DIY wedding planner, and helped ease the process along the way. This venue's communication, kindness, professionalism, and overall dedication to each wedding is unmatched. The food was great, the bartender and day-of-coordinator were so amazing, the rooms were detailed and stylish, and the venue space is just to die for! It was a pleasure to celebrate my big day at Mt Woodson Castle, and if the idea is ever feasible in the future, I would absolutely go back to this venue to celebrate an anniversary!

Mt. Woodson Castle and Personal Touch Dining made our wedding day extra special! Just as my husband and I did, our guests fell in love with the Castle as it is a beautiful and unique hidden Gem. The food was so delicious and using Amy Closet's for extra decor was so convenient! We worked with Peyton and Brooke for the planning and Kelsey did an amazing job executing our rehearsal and wedding day. Peyton and Brooke were very response to all my questions and made the process simple and stress free. They both offered great advice from helping with the timeline, decor and made sure I was happy with everything. For our rehearsal and wedding day, Kelsey was beyond amazing. She was friendly, organized and made sure everything was running smoothly. It felt like she as part of our wedding party as she just fit in perfectly with our group of friends/family. For me, I have zero wedding regrets and that has everything to do with Mt. Woodson Castle and Personal Touch Dining and the entire team! I highly recommend celebrating any occasion here! :)

I had been waiting to photograph a wedding there, and it finally happened last week! I had "Google scouted" the castle, but the venue and spaces were even more beautiful in person, almost magical, especially after dusk. The castle is huge and full of photographic gems, which made for the perfect setting for my client's wedding day. Aside from the aesthetics, I appreciated the onsite parking, prompt service, and helpful staff. The contracted coordination and catering company (Personal Touch Dining) takes pride in what they do and delivers exceptional service. I will be recommending this venue to future clients who may be looking for an enchanted oak forest and gorgeous architecture for their wedding backdrops. Thank you, Dani, for being such a genuinely caring and skilled coordinator!

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous and unique the venue was. It offered plenty of cozy spots for people to gather, while still feeling wonderfully intimate and connected. The flow of the space kept everyone together in a way that felt warm and inviting. The Darlington House created the perfect setting for a celebration that was both personal and unforgettable. The Darlington House is a beautiful, large, historic home in La Jolla, California. It's a unique location for a classic, elegant wedding just minutes away from the ocean. There are so many beautiful architectural features to this home and it makes for an incredible backdrop for a wedding celebration. With so many cool areas to explore and roam, it's an amazing place for an intimate wedding or a large celebration. The gardens are gorgeous, but the architecture is what's really stunning. Working with Carly was wonderful! I love this venue and can't wait for more beautiful celebrations in the future.

This is the venue of my dreams - outdoor garden vibes (gorgeous weather for our wedding at the end of April), historical interior. We booked our venue during Covid and actually received a discount for booking without an in-person tour. It ended up working out for us but to be honest I am not sure that I would have been as happy with the location without the discount! There are several rules that make this venue difficult. Definitely make yourself aware of these / ask to see the contract prior to booking in case some of these are make or break for you. First, you can’t actually get ready at the venue, so the wedding party needs to find another offsite location to get ready and perfectly time arrival so groomsmen and bridesmaids don’t bump into each other. Not a huge deal but it causes complications such as time constraints and possibly paying your photographer additional for extra travel if you want to take “getting ready photos” at your getting ready location. Also, food and bev are not allowed inside so no champagne popping pics for the ladies. Second, you have to start wrapping everything up at 9:30pm. I thought it would be fine but it went by so quickly- only about an hour on the dance floor! Seems like so much work to get all the rentals out and such a short time to have fun!!! We ended up having to spend more money for an after party because of the curfew. The curfew is due to the neighboring houses which is totally understandable! Third, the string lights you see in practically every photo is not a part of darlington. You need to find a rental company to put those up for you. I think it cost around $600. Yup, taken off and put up for every event… And then there are other restrictions like no hard liquor shots allowed, no real flower petals, no tosses of things such as rice, glitter, confetti, etc. Also just a heads up that because it is a garden wedding there are definitely bees. Pack that epipen if you are allergic! And finally, this location is not super handicap friendly. Although they do provide a ramp, it takes out a lot of space to put chairs in the ceremony area. Bathroom entrances are tight and large wheelchairs may not fit. We put our photobooth in the Egyptian patio and the bar in the library. I’m not sure if you are able to have the bar in the rose garden, but because both were in separate locations hardly anyone was on the dance floor! I would definitely move the photobooth in the rose garden if there’s space. And our guests also didn’t know there were desserts because they’re hidden in the summer house. Definitely ask your DJ to announce desserts more than once. And finally…. Because where the bride comes out shares the same entrance as the guests, any late guests will have to wait outside the house and wont be able to view the ceremony. Make sure to stress to your guests to be on time or wait a few minutes past start time to walk down the aisle! Overall we had a magical and memorable day with friends and family. Carly was a pleasure to work with and responds very timely!

Church
Saddleback Church in San Diego is a multi-ethnic congregation that invites people to come as they are. The church teachings emphasize the application of scriptures in one's daily life, without judgment or guilt. The pastor's teachings integrate biblical truths and references from both the Old and New Testaments.
I was in San Diego on vacation and looked forward to experiencing Saddleback Church. Warm people, talented worship leaders, a welcome environment for you to experience God and worship him without obstacles. It was easy to find a parking place, great signage and direction from the parking lot crew. “Welcome Back” statements by several people when walking in was a little strange, as I was a new visitor, but maybe I look like someone who’s been there before. *shrug* It appears that the church is new and growing (or maybe it’s a summer vacancy) as there were quite a few empty seats. Welcome team was genuine and not invasive. A lot of the message today was, “You can’t allow your feelings to…”. Best two moments were scriptures read from Malachi about God hating divorce but not divorcees. And experiencing God’s forgiveness as a means of forgiving others. There is freedom in admitting that we fall short, that we don’t have it all together, and that God is forgiving us daily. Book-study message today communicated forgiving the faults of others, which is hard to do when we don’t soak in God’s grace over our own shortcomings. Thanks, Church, for providing me a place to worship and experience the presence of God today. Warmly, Ryan

Pastor Rick Warren is the head pastor based out of Lake Forest, CA in Orange county. There are 20 campuses in southern California and internationally. This is a satellite campus that projects the message on a screen. There is a local campus pastor who welcomes, prays, and gives guidance at the end of each sermon. The worship team is live and unique to each campus. This is the only location in San Diego so far, and has about 400 people each week. Services are 9am and 11am every Sunday. Great for all walks of life. They have children's care and student ministries for the teens. They provide TV screen outside with seating for those who choose to participate there instead of inside. There is usually something fun and extra after the service like kettle corn, bounce house, baptisms, and anything else to encourage people to hang out and fellowship. They encourage everyone to get involved in a small group so that as the church grows bigger, everyone can stay intimately connected.

We became familiar with Saddleback after attending a Celebrate Recovery Summit at their main Lake Forest campus years ago. We love everything about Saddleback, their love, and focus on serving God and the community. The sermons are always SOO instructional and inspirational. And we always meet someone who genuinely seems to care (this time it was Joseph, his son Grant and two young visiting Asian women who were there for the 1st time and delighted us by asking LOTS of questions.)

This church is truly about being in relationship with members and the community. Attend services, sign up for a small group so you will have friends to do life with you. Authentic biblical teaching and worship. Children, teen, and college/career programs are excellent. Online community is vibrant and engaged. Need a blessing or healing or encouragement? Start here to find your way. They will show you the way, and walk the path with you.

Saddleback Church San Diego is a great place to refuel. My days can get me exhausted, stressed out, feeling empty and I can always take something away that I can carry with me all week. They also have built an amazing weekday program of small groups to keep me refreshed and connected with truly amazing people. My family loves that this church is not about guilt and persecution for being a human being. It is about showing love and growing a sense of purpose in your life beyond what you do for a living or what your position is in life. The messages are based on what the Bible says without any radical interpretation or creative license. The leadership is always making the point that it is not about building a powerful church...it is about living out the love of Jesus to anyone and everyone.

For you guys who attend church there. How loose are you guys on the organ? Like, would you guys allow visitors to go and play the organ if asked?

One of the most beautiful churches I haver seen. It is an overwhelming feeling. Every picture, space has a story. Well staffed, entry fee is minimal Audio tour is spot on. Take your time to see it all. There is so much gold It's hard to imagine it was a bare church for a long time.

Beautiful space, amazing acoustic. One of the best organs, if not the best organ, in San Diego. Really great music program headed by Martin Green. Real friendly people, the only big gripe is the parking situation: expect to fight for street parking during peak hours.

Awaken Church is a large and influential evangelical Christian church in San Diego. It was started by Pastor Jurgen and Leanne, along with their small family, and has since grown to be one of the largest churches in the area. The church provides comfort to its members through its services and community involvement.
fire spirit filled messages every Wednesday and Sunday! NO PLACE I WOULD RATHER BE! + Great community of people! AwakenU has changed my life!
Monique R — Google review
I love the music and the TED style talks. The musicals are unbelievable!! Becky and John are hilarious! Also the owners are amazing. I don’t like that SOME of the pastors act like “celebrities” with big egos and feel they should be treated that way when approached. Couldn’t fit in in connect groups and sit alone, was shamed by several pastors when i tried to explain my problem. They did more talking than listening. I still attend and know I’m blessed by God for going.
Brian G — Google review
Been attending for the last 3 years recently got into connect groups and doing all the outside activists. I love that it is a large church in all work the perks of being big but my actual service is small enough to make great connections not to mention the message is always awesome
Jordyn G — Google review
Awaken Church is exactly what we don’t need more of. I went there and right away they ask for money. I kid you not when I went there a lady shared her testimony of how her family gave everything they have and they received a 3 bedroom house. Their two bedroom house was not enough and they wanted a three bedroom house here in San Diego and felt that if they gave more donations to the church they would be blessed. Also to mention they are anti LGBT. Jesus would love others no matter what. This place is a joke and Jesus would not like to see these evangelical churches making millions a year while thousands of people here in San Diego are homeless or food insecure.
Austin H — Google review
"Fresh. Real. Powerful" , I've been attending Awaken Church for 4 years now and my life has truly been transformed. Just like those three words, every sermon is fresh, you won't hear the same message preached twice (unless you jump to different campuses) , it's real and raw as the speakers are transparent, and powerful because the Word of God is preached and has the power to shift hearts, break bondages, and transform lives. I grew up Catholic and never knew what a true relationship with God looks like. I can keep on, but heres just a gist of it :). If you're on the fence, just go and experience it for yourself, bless!
Paul D — Google review
Powerful Holy Spirit felt in here. But also fairly “salesly” “come buy a ticket to this event & wear these kinds of dresses” lol the sorority girl in me low key loves it but I don’t know if Jesus would. Although, received prayer from a woman named Mariola and she truly had the authority of God and for the first time in my life I felt spirits casted out of me and it opened my eyes more to Jesus and God. That’s where the true power is. How do I connect with Mariola?? Haha
Rose M — Google review
I use to attend this church and no longer only because it’s a far drive They have great sermons and everyone here makes you feel like family They touch on politics and unfortunately with today’s day and age we have to protect kids . The pastors rotate which I like each one has their own feel and way of preaching I’d recommend this church to anyone
Ash — Google review
Stop praising Trump and money. Politics has no business inside the church. They are all about money 🤑. They need to really read the Bible and convert. Be aware people, this is a mega church that wants your money. The pastor was bragging that he got $30k on his taxe return. 🤨 🤯

Church
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is a remarkable place that has made great efforts to keep its congregation united and engaged in worship. Father Anthony, an intelligent and hospitable priest, skillfully connects the teachings of the gospel with present-day situations. The church itself is stunning, and the quality of music is exceptional. This devoted Catholic community offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who attend.
It is a beautiful Church and a sanctuary to spend time for mental prayer and doing personal devotions. They have a Perpetual Adoration Chapel open for 24 hour and regular exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. A large image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a statue of Our Lady of Mr Carmel and Jesus inside the separate prayer room on the left side are lovely. They also have nice altar of the young Blessed Virgin and Saint Joseph on both sides of the church. There are also painted images of the Archangels. I encourage the catholic faithfuls to attend the solemn 9:30 AM Holy Mass that uses incense. They have plenty hours for Sacrament of Confession too especially on Saturday. Since the Church is located on a hill, the mountain view and a cool breeze add a more relaxing and a suitable place to spend a spiritual retreat.

I have been a member here for a couple years now and I absolutely love this church. I look forward to Father Anthony’s homilies every week!! I definitely would recommend coming and experiencing the amazing service yourself. Romans 15:13. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!”

This is a wonderful church that has done everything it could to keep the faithful together and attending mass. Father Anthony is a welcoming and very smart priest. He knows how to tie in the gospel to our present day circumstances so well! The church building is beautiful. The music is top notch! You will love this faithful and strong Catholic community.

I miss going to the church every Sunday there. The view of this place is privileged you can pray at the church but outdoors is amazing. The building is big, clean, people are very friendly and kind. They have services in Spanish which is useful taking into account the Latin American population in San Diego.

San Rafael Parish in San Rafael, California is known for its stunning Church and the spiritual connection it offers to its worshipers. It serves as a peaceful sanctuary where individuals can engage in meaningful conversations with Father Dennis, who has dedicated countless years to the parish but is now preparing for retirement. The recent service was well-received by new parishioners who felt welcomed and at ease among the congregation, which was particularly refreshing for an African American member who often encounters negative reactions elsewhere.
Good church for seniors. No pews, so no kneeling. Hardy ever gets too crowded. Ample parking. Close to several restaurants for after-Mass brunch.

I used to attended the Holy Mass at parish. The celebration was deeply anointed and Spirit-filled. The liturgy was conducted reverently, and the choir led the congregation into meaningful worship.

God guided me to the Metropolitan Community Church through their booth at the San Diego Pride Festival, and for that, I am deeply grateful. As a gay Christian, I spent many years feeling like an orphan, searching for a place of worship where I could praise God as my authentic self. From the moment I attended a service, I felt I had found that place. I experienced the love and presence of God in a way that resonated deeply with me. After two months of worship and connection, I joyfully decided to become a member and be baptized. Here, I can worship God fully, just as He created me, surrounded by love and acceptance.
Walfred R — Google review
I have been attending Metropolitan Community Church in San Diego for over one year. I moved here from San Francisco (where I lived for 25+ years) and hoped to find a loving church community. Throughout my adult life, I have visited many churches but never really found anything that felt like a good fit. The moment I entered my first service at the Met, I immediately felt welcomed. Everyone is friendly, inviting, and non-pushy. The church's philosophy is "come as you are." You don't have to hold any specific religious beliefs. The outlook is that everyone is on their own spiritual journey. It's a very accepting church. Anyone that wants to may take communion. This gentle, loving approach is what draws me to the Met, and the people are truly loving, kind, and supportive. There is no pressure to believe or do anything. Another major upside is that the church is financially stable (for example, it owns its own building), so there is also no pressure to contribute generously. I am confident you will find that this church will warmly welcome you and provide you the space, support and loving respect to nurture your deeply personal relationship with God, whatever it is meant to be for you.

This Church is a place where you can be your authentic self. From the very first day I stepped into MCCSD the presence of God was felt. Now over 20 years later that feeling is still felt... especially on one unforgettable Sunday shortly after I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The physical presence of God touched my body; there was a warming sensation felt throughout. The message I received during this time was that I was not alone and everything would be OK. Now almost 2 years later the cancer activity is undetectable through the treatment from my oncologist, the healing power of prayer from the Care Teams at MCCSD and the power of God. I have a bright future ahead of my...Praise the Lord.

I am reflecting this morning on the blessing that is my home church, The Met. I first found The Met online and was quickly drawn in by the weekly messages and the music. I started attending in person a little over a year ago and leave service every Sunday feeling renewed and uplifted. The last 3 months I had to go to Florida to help my sick parents so was grateful for the online ministry which allowed me to stay connected. The services spoke to my heart from over 3000 miles away and sustained me during a difficult time. I loved the opportunity to share the music and service with my mom and introduce her to the church I love. Members of the church checked in with me regularly the entire time I was away. If you are looking for an inclusive church that will meet you wherever you are in your spiritual journey, The Met is for you. The people are fun loving, deeply committed to service and wonderfully diverse. I was back in person this week and the welcome home touched my soul. I thank God every day for this church.

The Metropolitan Community Church (The Met) has been my church home since arriving in San Diego in 2017. For a Year after-Covid I attended another inclusive church in the area that was vibrant with lots of activities and caring folks in many ways like The Met , but I missed the prayerfulness and focus on Jesus that is intrinsically woven into the worship experience of the Met. I see myself as a progress Christian in so many ways but Jesus has to be the centerpiece not just a side note for me. Long live the mission of this very special church.
Flower G — Google review
The Met San Diego has been a beacon of hope for the San Diego LGBTQ+ community. Diversity and individuality is not merely tolerated; it is celebrated. From my first time attending, I felt warmly welcomed and a true sense of belonging. So many people introduced themselves and were so friendly, but not overbearing. The sermons are relevant to our times and speak to me spiritually. The church is also involved in social justice. Those from our church are often invited to attend and speak at city-wide events and meetings. Our voice in the community is respected and sought after. You don't have to have it all figured out to feel at home at MCC. Come just as you are!
Maureen M — Google review
My partner Yoli and I, have been part of The Met since 1999, it has been a beautiful spiritual journey. The support, encouragement, camaraderie, and love that we have found in this amazing church, has making us feel part of God’s creation. During these amazing years and through Pastor Dan’s messages we have known God in a better and more profound way. We’ve obtained spiritual tools that help us to face situations in life with a positive attitude. Self acceptance, respect and love are God’s attributes that have built my relationship with my partner to become stronger and more loving. At The Met, we found a real family and friends that love and support each other when we most need it. Interacting with people that has God in their lives impact our spiritual growth positively. We are very grateful to have a church like (The Met) where we can celebrate freedom and respect in our community (LGBTQ+). Thank you!!! Irma and Yoli!!!
Irma G — Google review
For over a decade, The Met Church has been my spiritual home. Founded 54 years ago to serve the LGBTQ+ community, it remains a place of true inclusivity and acceptance. MCCSD goes beyond being open and affirming by remaining true to its roots. I have great pride to be an active part of such a strong community. The sermons are a big part of what keeps me coming back. They're practical guidance I apply to my own life. The recent series on "The Four Agreements" was particularly impactful. But The Met Church is more than great sermons. It's a vibrant community. Arriving early allows me to connect with friends, both new and old, and even strike up conversations with visitors. The church also fosters a sense of community after the service. Hospitality always lays out a surprisingly tasty spread of coffee and snacks, providing a casual space to chat and get to know others. I usually stick around for about 10 minutes, enjoying the company and making new connections. It's a friendly place! What truly resonates with me is The Met Church's approach to scripture. They take the Bible seriously, but not literally. This allows for open and honest discussions about faith, making it a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
