Super cosy spot in central Amsterdam without being too crowded in the streets surrounding. Clearly a popular spot since it was so crowded inside though! All of the cakes looked delicious (lots of vegan and gluten free options). We went for a savoury treat this time and the portions!! HUGE! Will definitely be back to try the sweets!

This beautiful little bakery makes the most amazing looking and tasting baked good! The owner and her team efficiently handle the store and it's many many walk in customers. And the food is truly heavenly! Every 10 minutes you can watch a new tray of delicious baked goods being taken across from the kitchen to the display window 🙂

A magical place! You’d need to spend a whole week in Amsterdam just to try everything here. The pistachio cream aragostine and the cinnamon buns are an absolute must! Thank you for such a cozy and atmospheric café.

All their products are amazing. You can easily buy the products we tried. The soup of the day was eggplant soup. It may look a bit strange, but it tasted delicious. The service might be a bit slow, but we go there to be calm and relaxed. So it was a very nice experience for us.

AMAZING!! I’m so happy I found this place, we ended up coming back twice! This little place is small on the inside, but they do have an upstairs as well. The windows are lined with fresh pastries and baked goods. Delish!! They have a tiny patio with 3 tables that is right over the canal! Luckily we got to sit there and people watch, while enjoying our breakfast. Coffees were amazing. Baked goods, so fresh and delicious. We ended up eating some sandwich’s as well, tuna melt was excellent. The have homemade jams which we took some home with us! Overall this place was a perfect breakfast/lunch spot

We specifically went to visit this place because it was no1 on TripAdviser and it was awesome. The staff were super friendly, the coffee was super smooth (soft, sweet kind of roast) and a great selection of cakes to choose from ☕️ We sat outside in the courtyard which felt nice and secluded - like a secret garden. Thank you to the staff who served us. We really enjoyed it and would go back. Highly recommend 👍

I visited De Koffieschenkerij, a cozy café right next to De Oude Kerk (The Old Church), about a 7–10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The location is very charming - there’s a lovely outdoor garden with a pear tree, and inside it’s cozy with soft lighting and nice textures. The apple pie (€6.20) really lives up to its reputation - delicious and the cappuccino (€4.80 for a large) was smooth and tasty, though the size felt small for the price. Cons: Ordering system: Everything runs through their app/QR code, even if you’re dining in. The app said “take away,” but I was told to order through it for dining in as well. Payment: They don’t take cash (at least at the time of my visit). I had to pay via Apple Pay in CAD, which came to about 22.10 CAD. Good to check with them about euro payments if you prefer cash. Service: The staff didn’t feel very engaged. While polite, the warmth and energy were missing, and I was served my coffee and pie in takeaway containers even though I asked to sit inside. It made me feel a bit out of place. Overall: On my solo travel in this stunning city, sitting down for my first coffee and pie, it felt a bit detached. The apple pie was smooth, delicious, and a good size, and the cappuccino was enjoyable, though the “large” felt a bit small. Digital ordering is convenient, but being served in takeaway containers inside took away from the warmth of my first experience, and I hope you guys have a better experience. :)

One of the most nostalgic cafes in Amsterdam. In general I don’t like the surrounding area but this cafe will make sure to make it cozy, comfortable and simply gezellig. We went to De Koffieschenkerij for an afternoon snack and it was delicious! We tried multiple deserts and all of them are great. My favourite was the apple pie. The drinks are also good and there’s the option of swapping the milk for oat milk. The request is made through the phone and the service is very fast. Thank you for the experience!

The coffee is among the best in Amsterdam, which makes it worth the visit on its own. The food isn’t particularly cheap, but it is relatively well executed and enjoyable. This place always got my attention from outside with it’s amazing terrace on the water. Finally had the time to go in and was amazed by it. It’s a very nice place. You can work or relax or meet with your friends. The staff is so friendly and nice. We drank cappuccino and were delicious.

A mixed experience. Pros ✅: A nice big space/venue, with lots of light and pleasant canal views, a good buzz to it with lots of energy and hubbub. The cake was delicious. Cons ❌: The service was abysmal. We were sat for 20 minutes before someone came and took our order, we tried flagging down waiters dozens of times but they were too few and not very attentive. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and when they did the coffee was not hot. The decaf coffee was awfully bad, watery, and weak. The latte that was made with it was white not brown and tasted like plain milk, when I flagged this to staff they said that’s normal ‘because it’s decaf’. No, decaf coffee is not supposed to be any weaker or paler than its caffeinated counterpart, you’re serving terrible quality decaf coffee in that instance. The baked eggs were also not good; they were rather bland and tasteless (sadly like a lot of food in the Netherlands). They tasted of basically nothing, it seemed to have no herbs or spices or even pepper, the cheese was also bland. It really needs some stronger cheese, some paprika, some oregano or tarragon or something anything to give it some flavour. They were also very dry as weirdly they didn’t have any sort of béchamel or hollandaise sauce which would be normal for this sort of dish, and the eggs themselves were overcooked. The WiFi also didn’t work. All-in-all we felt this place had a lot of potential, but was let down by the bad coffee the bland food and the poor/slow service from staff.

The coffee was perfect! The atmosphere is lovely, with a beautiful view right on the Amsterdam canal front. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the city. Highly recommend!

Any travel guide in Amsterdam will tell you to stop by Winkel for their famous apple pie, and it’s absolutely worth it. I’m not even an apple pie fan, but this one was really, really good. The crust, the filling, everything was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Yes, there’s a long line, but they run the place like a well-oiled machine. The line moves quickly, the pies are constantly coming out fresh, and the drinks are made in no time. If you get lucky and snag a seat outside, you can enjoy your dessert while people watching. Inside seating is nice too, especially by the window, though the space itself isn’t particularly special. Still, it’s a must-try spot in Amsterdam. Definitely worth the stop for a slice of their iconic apple pie.

Great place to taste apple pie… queues can get long but they have outdoor seating too! The slices are quite big so sharing between 2 would work! Highly recommended!

Came because of the hype and a recommendation from a local friend of ours and this place’s apple pie reputation is very well deserved. We came at a good time so we were seated right away (2 people). Service was a bit slow because of the amount of people so it’s understandable. The pie itself was fantastic. No words to describe how good it was, so I rate it 10/10 for ruining apple pies for me because I don’t think I can get it anywhere else that’s this good. The coffee was good as well!

Amsterdam locals make sure you put this shop on your to-do list when in Amsterdam. It’s open until 2am and has amazing apple cake. You MUST get it with whipped cream and a hot drink (Irish coffee or hot chocolate preferred). There’s seating inside with warm cosy seating and a bathroom downstairs. Card and cash accepted. Very busy, but got a seat outside on a Friday afternoon. The apple pie was delicious- warm & freshly made, and not too sweet or buttery, with the optional added bit of sweetness with the whipped cream. Could've easily eaten another slice! Great spot for people watching as well. Definitely need to hire more staff though - there were only two servers managing everything outside (taking orders, clearing up, delivering the food/drink to both eat-in and takeaway customers). They were calmly efficient, but still clearly overwhelmed from being so understaffed. Overall worth the hype, as it's a fun bustling intersection with an upbeat atmosphere. Don't know if it's legitimately the best apple pie in all of Amsterdam, but it still tastes delicious and the location feels very cozy & communal :)

This restaurant is definitely easy to miss—hidden in plain sight—but once you find it, it has a quirky charm and a cozy, intimate vibe that sets it apart. We ordered the ribs, which were tender and had a subtle, smoky flavor—not overpowering, which I actually liked. That said, the portion size was a letdown. Both of our plates came out noticeably smaller than what’s pictured online… and even smaller than what the table next to us received. A little consistency and quality control would go a long way here. We also tried the lobster tail. While nicely cooked, it felt underwhelming for the price. The menu says 140g, but it looked and felt like less—hard to say, but it didn’t quite meet expectations. They accept split bills if you come with friends. Overall, there’s potential here. The food tastes good, the ambiance is charming, but they need to work on delivering what’s promised—especially when it comes to portions.

We had the caesar chicken sandwich and the cheese steak sandwich, and both were very good. The chicken sandwich had a really nice sauce, and the cheese steak was tasty, but it could have had a bit more meat. Portions of fries are quite large; one portion would have been more than enough for the two of us. The cheesecake was okay, but we didn’t enjoy the base. Service was friendly, and the decor is different and interesting. I would come back for dinner for sure.

All around an awesome stop. I have the classic burger and it had so much flavor. It was a great piece of meat. The staff was super kind and the bar tender was awesome. He was very go lucky and outgoing to everyone. The atmosphere of the place is pretty chill/social. Darker with music playing. Awesome decor with vintage style pictures all over the wall. Cauliflower steak was surprisingly good for me as a non vegetarian, steak was tender with good flavour (medium rare shown in the picture) and reasonable price in Amsterdam but lack of crust. Good environment but slightly packful and noisy, service I give 4/5 because they broke a glass in front of me luckily no one get hurt. Overall, good food and dining experience.

A very funky spot inside, and a kind of “funky” space outside. Inside very eclectic, outside, unfortunately there is a bunch of say 8-10 overflowing garbage bins immediately across from the outside dining tables, not exactly ideal for eating. We chose to eat inside. The food was very good, the service was spotty, the environment was a treat for the senses.

We had an incredible experience at Cannibale Royale Handboogstraat. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We had booked a couple of months in advance to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the communication with the staff via email beforehand was excellent. The restaurant itself is very cozy and atmospheric, perfect for a special occasion. As for the food—it was absolutely phenomenal. We tried the short ribs, Cannibale Royale’s favorite ribs, the tomahawk steak, and the chicken wings. Every single dish was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and of superb quality. It’s hard to describe just how delicious everything was—you really have to experience it for yourself. Highly recommended and truly a must-visit in Amsterdam!

I visited a chocolate shop in downtown Amsterdam and had such a great experience. The chocolates were absolutely amazing in taste, and the atmosphere of the shop was warm and inviting. The lady who helped me was so kind and patiently showed me all the different chocolates. A lovely experience highly recommended!

One of the best cafes I've been in Amsterdam. The sandwiches, especially the PLT, were fantastic and the Italian carrot cake is one of the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely come back someday for the afternoon tea.

Absolutely fantastic service, the chai latte was incredible and the chocolate cake was to die for. My sister had the apple and almond cake and really enjoyed hers as well. We visited after a walk through the park from Molenwerf and it was just wonderful. Definitely would visit Amsterdam again just to have their latte and cake again.

The coffee and food was nice, but maybe the day we were there one of employees had a bad day… It made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. Our server was cold and not smiling, When I tried to start a small talk (think of conversations like where are from, how long do you live in Amsterdam etc (I am not Dutch myself)) it only made it worse. I worked with customers myself, so I used to smile to everyone and having a small conversation. For the rest is cozy cafe with delicious vegan food but I am afraid I won’t be willing to come back, which is the shame…

Service was friendly. Make sure you make reservations because walk in queue will have an hour wait. We ordered the set meal and happy that they have variety of sets. Generally, we enjoyed the meal. But the fish did not do for me. I find it too bland. The fish was cooked perfectly though. Desserts was good.

Main oven was down when we visited and they were serving appetizers and small plates of some of the main dishes - which was perfect for us as we could then sample more dishes with smaller portions. Mashed potatoes with sauerkrauts, mashed potatoes with carrots and onions, beef croquettes, beef stew, meatball and smoked sausage. Food was amazing, flavorful and well balanced. So good And to top off, service was excellent! Definitely worth another visit!

Warm & friendly service; a beautifully designed, cozy atmosphere, and most of all, delicious Dutch dishes. The vegetarian bitterballen was excellent - crispy on the outside without being oily, with great texture & flavour on the inside. Also really enjoyed the combination mashed potatoes to try the different flavours (kale, carrot, & cauliflower) that were each unique. Bonus that everything was extremely reasonably priced. Very highly recommend for the loveliest experience of traditional Dutch cuisine & hospitality!

Great place to try dutch food: the staff are very friendly, it’s well located, and the decor is very characteristic. Although I didn’t love the food (it’s not my personal taste), it was great to try!! My favorite dish was the pea soup. Consistency is a superpower here, with everything I tried being outstanding. The chicken burger was my personal highlight amidst an entire reel of excellence. It was succulent, flavoursome, and relied upon balance in a way you don’t find for a cafe staple normally. It was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. Massive statement, but completely verifiable; just come give it a try. The lava cake was decadent and rich, the pancakes made my heart sing. I’ll stop now because I could otherwise go on forever. This is a super cute little cafe! The coffee was wonderful! The eggs Benedict was a bit odd as it wasn't served on an English muffin, but the hash browns were some of the best that I've ever had! It was definitely on the pricey side, but I would still go back for sure! Our server was really nice and she did a good job.

Fine tuned to British taste buds for any homesick tourists. In spite of that the brunch was excellent, filling, delicious and well balanced. Great choice and on e of the better sources of tea in the city. It's tiny so be prepared to wait. Huge respect to the staff that capably handled all the rude customers.

Spoiler: you need to wait outside to get a spot but hold on, do it, its worth it. I don’t know if I had better eggs Benedict in my entire life (they were so good I didn’t catch a photo of them). The place is very cozy and homy. And the staff is amazing.

We arrived late at Schiphol Airport from Oslo and were looking for the best steak restaurant in Amsterdam. The place that was recommended was 'CAU Steak Restaurant.' ​As expected from its popularity, the restaurant was crowded. Luckily, there were seats available. We ordered the Superfood Salad, which was excellent—it was made with healthy vegetables and grains and tasted great. ​The main dishes, the steak and the fillet, were both fantastic and absolutely delicious. ​Although it was noisy due to the number of customers, we were still able to have a conversation. However, the side dish, the fried onions, were unfortunately tough and lacking in flavor, which was disappointing. ​The service was good, but the sequencing of the dishes was a bit disappointing. The main course arrived before the salad, instead of the correct order.

Had a great dinner in CAU, ribeye was cooked perfectly and the Dutch apple tart for dessert was amazing. Really friendly and welcoming staff who looked after us while we were there, looking forward to coming back next time I'm in Amsterdam

Great steak restaurant. Indoor & outdoor seating. Welcomed immediately and shown to a window table. Waiter was genuinely very friendly and helpful. We chose the large sharing platter which was HUGE! The steaks were cooked to perfection. On reflection we should have got the smaller version!!! 🤣. Parmesan chips were lovely too. We had beers, red wine and a cocktail. Good atmosphere and no rush to get the table back. Highly recommend.

The front of house host was a gentleman of the highest order. Recommended the ribs. I ate the ribs - it was like Eva Perón crying on my tongue. Argentina should be proud their talent for rib cooking has been upheld in this fine establishment. 20 stars.

First thing first; reservation is a must. Amazing place, staff is very friendly and the food is so good, in one word; perfect. I suggest Lomito steak, fries with Parmesan cheese and of course Brand beer.

Open early on Sundays- worth getting up for! Excellent varied menu. We had florentine and BR special. Both very well executed. Super garlicky spinach and yummy think bread. Friendly efficient service.

Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation, and overall quality — which was very unexpected. The bread was cut too thick and had no taste, it wasn’t toasted or spread with butter. Adding simple touches such as garlic butter, cheese sauce, or other flavor elements could make a big difference. All three dishes we ordered were completely bland. These days, it’s easy to find inspiration online for improving flavor and presentation, and I believe there is definitely room for improvement.

We had a tasty brunch here on a Sunday morning. My only wish was that the wait list system worked because I tried to join the wait list as we were walking there and it wasn't working... Of course we arrived and the place was full so we could only add ourselves once we got there. This meant that we could only get bar seats which was a bit tight for space. Aside from the seating situation the food itself was great. We got the Navajo Eggs and the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious and had a good balance of fresh ingredients with savoury elements.

Everything is delicious and fresh, especially the pancakes. The portion sizes are good. Coffee and matcha latte was also good. Quick and friendly service. Highly reccomend and would visit again =)

I ordered the B&R Special with extra avocado instead of bacon. The eggs and bread were delicious, and the butter elevated the whole dish. The orange juice was fresh, but the pancakes were underwhelming compared to the rest. Nice atmosphere and excellent service, overall, a solid 5 stars despite the pancakes.

The food here was absolutely amazing—one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The quality was exceptional, it’s easily one of the top places we’ve visited. What really stood out was the ambience. This was our second Michelin restaurant, and the difference was obvious right from the start. Unlike some Michelin spots that can feel a bit formal or intimidating, this one has a more laid-back, approachable atmosphere. Which makes it perfect for anyone who wants a high-quality Michelin-starred meal without the pressure of an overly upscale environment. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back!

We had reserved a table for 5:45 pm, and the dining room was completely empty. However, we were seated by Amber in the least favorable spot, right by the entrance on high stools. After explaining that one of us had food poisoning and would not be comfortable sitting on bar stools, we were reluctantly moved to a regular chair. When our time was up (two hours later), we were asked to move to the bar, even though there were still plenty of free tables and no new guests had arrived. As I understand it, among the entirely white clientele of the restaurant, we were the only non-white guests, and it felt like they were trying to push us aside the whole time. Food was good, waiters were helpful, but these moments left a negative aftertaste from the dinner. Very unfortunate.

The most casual Michelin-star restaurant I’ve been to and it was a refreshing change from the usual. Approachable fine dining that was delicious and served with thoughtfulness. The four-course tasting menu was well balanced and satisfying. Service with personality. Highly recommend.

Ron Gastrobar was a truly interesting experience. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, it perfectly combines hospitality, taste, and 'fair' prices. For two and a half hours, we felt a little taste of perfection. The staff was very kind, paying attention to every detail from the moment we entered until we left, ensuring everything was elegant, discreet, and well-organized. We also had the chance to try some unique cocktails, with some out-of-the-box combinations, but very well-balanced. I warmly recommend Ron Gastrobar for any special occasion. It truly made our holiday extra special! :)

Update 2024. We came back to Amsterdam and ate here again. Twice during the same day! Everything was delicious and fresh. We tried 5 different things. Smoked salmon was amazing, tender. Fried cod was delicious too. We will come back next trip as well. It’s our tradition now. Please support this small business ☺️ 2023. Delicious and fresh. We tied herring sandwich, smoked eel, crab salad, fried cod, everything was super tasty! Totally will eat here again next time I’m in Amsterdam! Some people complain that cod fish is microwaved, but it is freshly cooked the same day (big amount), it’s very tender. The owner is friendly and kind. There are only 2 tables inside , but people come and go, there’s always a chance to sit and enjoy your snack ☺️

They use to have better bread. I think they use some kind of half "volkoren" "whole wheat bread. Sandwiches are nice but missing that oomph. My sandwich had no dressing/sauce or olive oil. His was too watery due to the bell pepper and tomatoes. Service is 👌🏽. 7/10

Nice place with tasty food and good coffee. They have a terrace which unfortunately was full when we visited. We sat inside, on the upper part of the room which was extremely noisy and hard to have a conversation with my party. Staff were pleasant.

Stopped here for brunch - great decision. Had the eggs (3) with bacon, cheese tomato and chives on sourdough toast, simply fantastic. The menu is varied from sandwiches to pasta but I was certainly happy with my decision. There are English menus if required and the staff are friendly. My wife said the coffee was probably the best she has had this holiday and we have been travelling for almost 4 weeks. Highly recommend this cafe.

Wonderful little Canal side cafe. A good selection of gluten free open sandwiches. Sadly fries are cooked in the same fryer as gluten containing items so no fries. But the truffle parm steak sandwich was absolutely excellent! Tasty flavoured lemonades and great service. Would recommend.

I recently visited Prins Heerlijk for brunch, attracted by its great location near Amsterdam Centraal and the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Our food took almost 40 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit long. My friend ordered a fresh orange juice, but we were told it was unavailable and were offered apple juice instead. To our surprise, it wasn’t freshly made but came from a bottle. The coffee arrived quickly, but by the time the food came, I didn’t have anything left to drink. We ordered two English breakfasts, but the flavors were lacking; the dish felt quite plain and simple, especially for the price. While the location is convenient and the service was polite, the experience could definitely be improved with more attention to flavor and ensuring that drinks are as fresh as advertised. Hopefully, these small changes can make a big difference for future guests.

Both my wife and I had the English breakfast. The food itself was ok, the eggs were good, the sausage was bland and the bacon was fine. The toast wasn’t toasted, just bread out of the package, cut and put into the plate. We tried other breakfast in the same area and found it better, I don’t recommend.

The location is excellent if you're walking from the Central Station. This is a great place to people watch. We enjoyed the special croissant with a fried egg and bacon and the healthy baguette with salad. The coffee and americano were both good.

Sadly, the meat patty bun was a less inspiring act in this culinary drama. It was merely a supporting character, failing to steal the spotlight. While the ambiance is charming and inviting, patience might be required as the wait for your breakfast to arrive can test your Zen-like qualities. But hey, when the reward is a pancake masterpiece, a little wait might just be a small price to pay.

Good food for the price, but small venue. If you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. If you are in a group it's not so great. The restaurant is very small. So you will need to be open to eating outside. If you are more than 4 people it will be hard to get a seat. As for food the Danish pancake was good. Very sweet but good. I personally recommend the salmon sandwich. The coffee is good as well.

Had a quick brunch with the wife as we were exploring Amsterdam city. Great place for some local snacks and fast food. We ordered the frikandel and their version of fish and chips. Food was good and definitely a fun pit stop right at the heart of the city facing the Central Station.

Good service and more affordable than similar cafes in the area (you can compare prices on the menu card). They were nice enough to accept my request of adding a fried egg onto my pancake for protein. And it was fun to people watch on the terrace.

Had a delightful meal for dinner here. The service was great, the food was delicious and came out reasonably quickly, and the atmosphere was so nice. They have a beautiful quote mosaic on the wall, and of course an incredible view of the city. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food and location. Cherry on top was discovering a sunscreen station — so thoughtful!!

We had a light lunch- a platter of Dutch finger food and perfectly chilled white wine, both delicious. We placed the order using the QR code at our table and the service was prompt. This is an excellent choice of venue if you’d like to experience the vibe unique to central Amsterdam.

We stumbled across this place by accident after our original lunch plans fell through. We were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted to try kibbling so I got the kibbling sandwich. I can now say I'm a huge fan of kibbling. It was delicious. My friend got the mushroom pancake which she loved it. Service was lovely as well. Highly recommend

One of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. The brasserie vibes of this place are unmatched. The menu has loads of options and they’re all delicious. I recommend taking an entree and a main dish, trust me, you will have enough food with the two! Yes, it is pricier than your average restaurant but that’s why I like it, I can come for a special occasion and every time I come I am not disappointed. Great atmosphere as this restaurant is in an old water pumping station so very cool architecture and super spacious and open. The staff are super friendly although sometimes it can take a bit to get noticed bit that’s just because there are many tables.

The seafood is amazing, tasty, fresh and highly recommended. Drinks were good too, quick service and amazing desserts. We sat outside, so quiet and relaxing - a great spot to relax. The meat options too are highly recommended- fresh and tasty. Easy to reach with public transport as well.

The waiters were very polite and warm. Our orders were served very quickly. The waiter's wine recommendation was spot on. We ordered steak, which was delicious. The high ceiling, reminiscent of a train station, creates a very spacious atmosphere. The clientele was also quite distinguished.

The tagline is a "refined venue" but this is more like a local neighborhood restaurant. It's fine, but not worth the drive if you are staying downtown. The steak was tough and of poor quality, and I'm pretty sure my wife (who has a gluten allergy) was glutened here despite a warning to the staff.

Generally a good if mixed experience. The Cesar salad and steak frites were very good and a reasonable price, spoiled by the fact that i was brought béarnaise sauce (which wasn’t very flavourful) instead of peppercorn sauce, and spent 10 minutes trying to notify a waiter before I resigned myself to eating as. Luckily, the steak itself and the sticky toffee pudding to follow were otherwise unimpeachable!

The food is absolutely underwhelming. Don’t ever order the asparagus, it’s really bad. Nothing feels special or particularly good unfortunately. Just go somewhere else.

We had a family dinner on our vacation, my son wanted to try a dutch fondue and they serve a good one. The atmosphere is cozy and lovely, the service is very good and I must admit the food was very tasty (photos included). * one tiny thing I personally didn’t like is that there was a cat sitting on the bar and walking around freely in a place where you serve food *

Lovely location with some outside seating facing the canal and some cosy seating inside. Food was comforting especially for a windy and cold day. Restaurant gets busy around 12.30pm, but if you go in at 12 on the dot it will be easy to get a seat without a reservation.

If you’re looking for a classic Dutch pub (or restaurant), this is the place! You can enjoy a wide variety of beers, including some mixed with rum. The only downside was that the portions were smaller than expected. Still, the service, food, and atmosphere were all great.

Such a wonderful experience. We were keen to try the local cheese fondue and found this place. What a delicious choice! The fondue came with bread only, so we ordered the well done steak with four small pieces for €10 to go with it. The fries were really good too.

Got here just after 7pm on a Wednesday and found a table outside for 1 immediately. It's a very popular place with great view over the canal. I loved sitting there reading and people watching for a couple of hours. I had a glass of wine, a small platter of snacks and the cheesecake for €30. Staff was lovely and the vibe was really cool. Exactly what I needed after a long day!

Great experience! The atmosphere and decor felt authentic and homely. We tried the jenever tastings and they were all unique and enjoyable. It was quite busy and noisy, but if that does not bother you I can thoroughly recommend!

I honestly love this place. Came back twice in 2 days. Service is a huge plus, all the guys were great and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. Drinks were perfect too. We will never forget the mussels, that was special!!

The place itself is really cute and cosy, we loved it. The food we had was absolutely amazing, so tasty and well presented. I also tried the pink matcha latte and was genuinely impressed. The matcha was really smooth, no powdery bits at all, just perfectly mixed. We also ordered an apple juice, expecting something freshly squeezed, but it came from a bottle and was just poured into a glass, which was a bit disappointing to be honest. The only downside was the service, which was quite slow. We ended up waiting a fair bit and I noticed there was only one waitress working the whole café, so they probably had a staff shortage. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but then again, most places in Amsterdam are, so I can’t really complain. Overall, a lovely spot with great food and drinks, just don’t go if you’re in a rush.

Cute, little place in the middle of the centre. Cosy atmosphere on the inside, looked a bit crouded on the inside, but still nice to be. I sat on the terrasse, lovely to see people passing by while I was waiting for my freshly made ice tea and acai bowl. Very friendly waitress, the place has got an eye for detail with their matching straws and napkins ☺️.

The menu was off. I ordered Club sandwich (which said on the menu that it comes with fries) and i received it with chips. Also, the avocado toast came with boiled eggs instead of poached (as it said on the menu). When I wanted to sit on a certain table, the staff memeber said to move to another one since that one was dirty (had dirty plates on it). I do not find that great to say to a customer, since the “cleaning” only took 2 minutes. Food was good, 7/10. Overall, 2 star experience, would not recommend

Absolutely wonderful place and Tony the cat is a wonderful host. Only had drinks but they were made quickly and were delicious. I hope to return one day to see Tony again and would highly recommend this place to everyone. probably the best place for drinks in Amsterdam and it was a shame to rush away to catch our flight

At Poco Loco, the food ranged from average to good, while the service was commendable. It was an overall good experience, but nothing that will leave you in awe. If you’re looking for a decent dining option in Amsterdam, Poco Loco could be a suitable choice with its pleasant service and reasonable food quality.

We had lunch here. We had croquettes and sandwiches with an apple cider. It was heavenly delicious. Radiant heaters were switched on against the cold so that it was nice and warm outside despite the cold. I would recommend it to anyone !

Had 3 different wait staff, took orders but then food took ages to arrive and not both meals at the same time, as for some reason they thought we had ordered 2 of the same dish, so 3 dishes for 2 people! Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Ordered dessert which took ages again, so had to ask and they had missed it! Toilet clean, but up and down lots of steps, plus the doors open out on each other (men's/women's) and the stairs so be careful when approaching.

I don’t recommend if you like your personal space the min we sat down m mum head was rubbed by who seemed to be the manager or owner he then pressed to hover above us while eating also my dad was a witness of the same manager was shouting at his staff and the atmosphere was horrible. Over all my burger was alright but definitely wouldn’t go back .

Small place full of simple and fulfilling dishes! A great part of the menu serves different types of dutch sandwiches (I ordered the homemade hummus, it was really really nice). Nice option around the area, the decoration is very interesting. It seems like a great place to chat and feel present (without the need of a cellphone)! Almost everything tries to be organic and a lot of the menu is also homemade!

A cosy cafe, recommended to us by a staff from Rembrandt Museum. We enjoyed the quiche and tomato soup. The apple tart was also yummy. Service was friendly. Recommend!

I love this place so much, we went three times in our visit to Amsterdam because we coudn't have enough. I can't say enough good about this place! I ate there 2 or 3 times while in Amsterdam and everything is fresh. One the way in each morning they pick up their bread for the day fresh from a local bakery. They will even fresh squeeze a combination of quite a few fruits and veggies into a juice for you. It's a must visit if you are ever in Amsterdam!

Went there for breakfast and fell in love. The ambience was unbelievable. It’s such a cute cafe. I ate fried eggs served with hartog bread with salami. It was pretty good. I also drank basil-lime lemonade. It was probably one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. If I ever come to Amsterdam again, I will definitely go to this cafe.

We came here at the recommendation of our guide from Those Amsterdames. The space and ambience definitely charmed the socks off me. We had the window seat where we could watch the world goes by. Food wise, I think it could be an effect of coming in the afternoon as opposed to the morning, the bread was harder than I expected. It took a bit more of us to tear it apart to bite sizes. The apple pie, highly raved by other Google Reviewers, was really amazing! That delivered.

On my way from the museum, I stopped at Petit Gateau for some pastries and coffee. Instead of the usual service, I was greeted with a beautiful, bright smile from the staff on a cloudy day. I had a great cup of coffee latte and an excellent piece of pastry. I’m so happy right now!

A legit and excellent French patisserie. I was able to find buche de Noel even on Christmas Eve (not always easy to find, and usually have to reserve ahead). All the tarts are beautiful, I got 4 and they were all delicious. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

Legit just arrogant - offers no vegan Variants and Coffee is thin and tasteless. Preferred to dine in - but got take away without asking. Welcoming only pretentious folks. So pretend to be rich for better service.

Today I came here for their parisian flan, which was unfortunately sold out. Instead, I bought one of their overpriced desserts (€4.5 for something so small) with some raspberries on top and the raspberry filling was extremely sour. You also cannot eat there at all if you have a drink from another place, even if you don’t drink it, which was okay ig if their pastries made up for it. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place, as there are so many more and better bakeries in Amsterdam to try that are more worth your money (like Lourens, het Koekemannetje, Salvo Bakehouse, Bini bakery, bunbun, Saint-Jean etc.).

Got four tarts Citroen, raspberry pistachio, vanilla berries and Black Forest. All of them were very good. One star less because the place is very pricey.

Some of the most delicious little cakes I have ever had! Like probably the best ever. We freaking loved the Dubai, it was incredible. They are so good you should stop reading this and go get some now! Go!

Enjoyed the breakfast and the atmosphere. I ordered a flat white and a hot chocolate, but a cappuccino was served instead of the hot chocolate. After clarifying, I asked for it to be replaced with the correct drink, but the cappuccino was still included on the bill.

We loved this place. We went there 3 times during our week in Amsterdam. It’s a good option for breakfast. But the most important reason to visit is the apple pie. It is absolutely delicious. Right in the heart of the tourist zone, Kessens is a nice place to take a break while exploring Amsterdam. Dishes were on the smaller side — don’t expect to get full on one plate. Flavors were decent across the board. Service was quick and friendly, which made the experience smoother. The Burrata Salad was the highlight: fresh, flavorful, and nicely plated. The steak sandwich was our least favorite. Good stop if you’re in the area and want a light bite in a calm setting. 👍 Helpful? Tap that like.

What an amazing breakfast and lunch venue, we stumbled upon this place while on vacation from the USA. We have been here every morning since we found it. The food is absolutely amazing. We had never had such delicious breakfast meals like this before. OMG ! The coffee and OJ is so fresh., you have to try the crepes and blueberries, Yum!.

The food was all delicious. But the coffee was bitter, I wouldn’t recommend it. Very polite staff, but for some reason they seat you at less comfortable tables, although there are seats and they are free for an hour.

I liked this place, the waitress who took the order was nice and the food was delicious. But 20 minutes before closing time, another waiter took my tea (which was almost gone, but he could have asked) and asked if I wanted anything else, adding that they were closing soon. I said no, paid the bill and left the cafe with an unpleasant feeling

The place is nice and has a good atmosphere and vibe, but it’s not very spacious and can get packed and loud quickly. The service is great, you order at the cashier and then they bring your order to the table. I ordered the lemonade and a mushroom tart and I didn’t love them. The lemonade is not fresh from the moment, but rather brought from somewhere else.

What an amazing experience we had at Back to Black! An authentic and cozy place in the heart of the city with a lovely ambience and full of locals! Both coffees were really good and the espresso brownie was simply BREATHTAKING! Best espresso brownie I’ve ever had! The staff was super nice and they also sell some decorations and ornaments in the shop! I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for an authentic café experience in Amsterdam! 10/10 Tip: for those looking for a café to take your laptop to and work from there, Back to Black IS NOT your place, since they don’t allow laptops on the counters and tables.

Stopped to have a quick coffee and I’d say that it was delicious. I don’t know which beans they used, but I’m sure that I could smell their strong aroma and that playful taste on the tongue which is a sign of good coffee. Ambience was okay toiletries in the basement not wheelchair accessible perhaps the whole place is not wheelchair accessible. Seating was a bit tight. If you are in the area and want a nice coffee, then it should be on your list and I would say that you will not be disappointed. Overall experience was very good. Definitely five stars.

The apple pie is cool and refreshing, with a soft and delicious apple filling. Unfortunately, the crust gets very sweet towards the end. Although it’s not top tier, it’s still a pretty good apple pie. The dirty chai latte has a strong spicy flavor, which I personally don’t like very much. The atmosphere in the shop is nice, but you can only use a laptop on weekdays.

I had a cortado and it was not only stunning but also completely delicious. I like how I had the option of a single- most places offer a (tight) double shot by default, but as I was already thoroughly caffeinated, a single (at only €3, at least in October 2025) was a perfect compromise. Amazing specialty coffe. Great atmosphere , amazing staff, coffe that week was amazing ( single origin from Columbia). The apple pie was a killing. Hopefully in Amsterdam you walk a lot. So you don't care about calories limit 🥳

This cafe has a very Kinfolk vibe and is very aesthetic. It was a relaxing spot to have an early breakfast on my recent trip to Amsterdam. Coffee excellent, Earl Grey scone palatable, although accompaniments could’ve been tastier to complement better. Atmosphere very quiet and patrons respectful of one another despite close confinement. Staff pleasant enough. Altogether an enjoyable experience and would visit again, primarily to try more of the coffee selection.

The baked potato was ok! Not the freshest or most extensive range of toppings, I mean how can you sell a baked/jacket potato without sour cream? The real disappointment was the chocolate cake. Looked delicious. Tasted, well there was zero taste! So disappointed as it looked amazing, but NO! Complete waste of €5 😩 Don't be lured in by their cakes appearances!

The service is just terrible. The food looks good and does taste nice but just the whole methodology is wrong. Rude and very condescending in they answers. The product all don’t have price nor is they a list or any way to find out except asking. They stuff answers by giving you rough estimate of what you can spend. I was told , 5.40,6, 6.50 or 7..... what or where were the product with the price is left to your imagination. Is it egg sandwich or just sausage sandwich up to you. Would not recommend it nor visit again. Too many nice places to keep up with that kind of service

The baked potato was ok but nothing special... the cakes were average, probably better to give this one a miss. You have to pay to use the loo and there aren’t any prices up, so you don’t know what you’re paying until you are already fully committed to your purchase.

No good cheese options, all toppings are cold, bland and the toppings options are also extremely limited. Said there's no receipt for my food. It was an unpleasant meal.

Had the Kumpir/baked potato with a myriad of cold fillings, which was a disappointment. There is a lot more potato than fillings. Not up to the usual standard of Simit Sarayi. Had the chicken fillet baguette/sandwich also, which was a small fillet cut into half and decorated with one slice of tomato and slivers of green pepper. Food is served quickly which is a bonus but overpriced for what is on offer. Doesn't compare to the quality of their branches in London or Istanbul. Staff were friendly, which is the only plus point.

Very nice falafel fast food center with friendly staffs. You can choose your own topping as much as you want. Also they have delicious fries available. Good value.

Everything here is incredibly fresh and the falafel are made to order. The owner makes a variety of different salads and toppings that you are free to add to your pita afterwards. I ended up visiting this place twice. It's usually hard to find healthy food while traveling but this place is a hidden gem in Amsterdam..

For 7.5£ you can really make it worth it ! The mushroom was freshly cooled and added to the bread. Then you can add most of the toppings you want without charge. And then sauces!! This was delicious and had so much flavor I would definitely eat this again

I’d confidently rate it a 9/10, and as a food lover, that’s high praise. But the real joy is customizing your creation. The endless salad bar is where you make your masterpiece. I’m talking about piling your pita high with their tangy onion salsa—my personal favourite—followed by a crunchy vegetable salad, a zesty carrot salad, and a dollop of creamy coleslaw. You have to finish it off with a drizzle of their vibrant chili coriander sauce. The harmonious blend of flavours and textures is truly unforgettable. While I’ve always been a fan of their classic falafel pita, the eggplant version is a must-try. The smoky, tender eggplant perfectly complements the crispy falafel. I've been eating here since my parents discovered it in the '90s, and it’s a tradition that has stood the test of time. When someone says Maoz has the best falafel in town, they aren't kidding—they're just telling you the delicious truth.

Vegan Temple Bar – A Mixed Bag of Bites and Vibes... I recently visited Vegan Temple Bar in Amsterdam, and while there were definitely some highlights, a few odd choices kept it from being a fully satisfying experience. Let’s start with the food. The burger was okay—not bad, but nothing that stood out in a city that offers some truly excellent vegan options. What did impress me, though, were the fries—crispy, golden perfection—and the truffle mayo, which was rich, flavorful, and honestly addictive. If I came back, it would be mostly for those two alone. That said, the presentation left a lot to be desired. Serving food on old wooden cutting boards that looked worn out and slightly grimy didn’t exactly scream clean or appetizing. It might be meant to be rustic, but it just came off as a little unhygienic. To make things stranger, there was ketchup “art” smeared across the board in some kind of decorative attempt—which seemed not only unnecessary but also wasteful. The ambiance also took a hit when someone from the kitchen—possibly a manager or chef—was loudly berating staff in English. It was uncomfortable and really killed the chill vibe the place is trying to cultivate. All in all, while there were definitely some standout bites, the overall experience didn’t quite match the potential. I might return eventually, but probably only if Amsterdam’s many other fantastic vegan spots are off the table.

Nice vegan find in Amsterdam. There's both indoor and outdoor space, and a full vegan menu with pasta and burger options plus snacks and some sweets. Came here to try the bitterballen and the stroopwafel and I was pretty happy, I ordered a takeaway. The service was also very warm.

Fantastic vegan food here, so good we went to eat there twice. The satay bowl was so good I have made similar since we have been home and our very picky daughter absolutely wolfed down the burger. The staff welcome you like old friends and whilst the restaurant is busy, it’s not overwhelmingly noisy.

If you’re gonna call yourself a Japanese restaurant you should learn how to make Japanese food. Gyozas were soggy, sushi tasted like albert heijn’s sushi, and the crispy fried rice were overcooked that it was so hard and unpleasant for the teeth. i would give this place a 2/10 for the nice service of the staff (they gave me a new portion of the fried rice because the old one was too hard to eat), but the food is just not Japanese.

A solid Japanese tapas-style restaurant, but not the best choice for a full dinner. We ordered the edamame, chicken katsu, bao buns, and sushi. The chicken katsu and bao buns were excellent, but the sushi was underwhelming. It is a good place for drinks and a light bite, especially if you want something casual and shareable. Prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes.

If you are looking to fill your belly before a rave night, this place can definitely help. Fresh seafood and perfectly cooked rice. I liked the low lighting as it gives the place a cozy and comfortable vibe. The service was average since it took them a while to notice I was there or to come take my order.

The food is ok I mean not that special not the best ingredients but well made. I can see that chefs are putting good effort in it. It did not feel like quite Japanese it was more like Asian inspired food (some meals are fusion like Bao buns, kimchi etc.) Service was a bit slow however the service employees were nice. Amazing small Japanese dishes to share, love the concept and the food was excellent! They were playing amazing music so the atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday night! the yuzu spritz was super refreshing. Perfect small bites before a night out.

The food is really delicious and looks nice. The Restaurant has a big selektion of different small dishes, so that you can order a bit of everything. It is a really good place to go to as a group, because you can share all the dishes. We sat outside and when it got a bit windy the waitress gave us blankets. The people working there are really nice.

A charming side street, family run cafe. We were attracted by the food displayed in the window and were not disappointed. Service was good (admittedly it was not busy) and service was prompt. We ordered a goats cheese salad and a chicken salad which were very tasty and good size portions.

BE CAREFUL!!! Incredibly rude and bitter owner asked me to leave just because I planned to have the to-go coffee I ordered at a table inside. The sad thing about the man and the shop is that the location allows him to operate as a tourist trap with a constant influx of people. What a great place to go for an amazing piece of pie and a non-alcoholic cocktail or to get some freshly made fair trade organic food to take away. Or chocolates. Some people have it all. Top find in the city and a rare, but well-deserved 5-star rating.

I ordered the dragon noodles which was full of flavour and delicious! The staff are wonderful too. Loved the place but I felt it was slightly pricey - 19-ish Euros for one bowl of noodles. Food in Amsterdam is generally expensive but it felt a tad too steep even for Amsterdam standards. Lovely place otherwise.

This vegan Café is amazing! The food was incredibly tasty and prepared with a lot of fresh ingredients. I highly recommend coming here to anyone. The people here can cook very well! I came here after running the Amsterdam marathon and it was the perfect replenishment. I got the Buddha bowl salad and the jackfruit tacos. The jackfruit tacos were on traditional corn tortillas about two bites each taco. Quite expensive for the quantity but taste and substance worth it. This salad was everything I wanted it to be, big portion, good textures with the tempeh and peanuts, and delicious flavors meddling together, perfect to replenish 3 hours and 59min of running.

While researching vegan lunch options, we stumbled on this exceptional cafe offering excellent vegan options. We enjoyed a Miso salad, cheezy burger and cheesycake. Each dish was amazingly tasty and exhibited great creativity in creating vegan options for some standard fare. Highly recommend a visit as you will not be disappointed!

Came here on our first night in Amsterdam. Wasn't sure what to expect apart from it being a raw vegan place. We had the zucchini pesto pasta and beetroot smoothies. The taste was really strange, strong and off, but since we’re not that familiar with vegan food, we gave it the benefit of the doubt. What really concerns me is that, reading back through other reviews, more people have mentioned issues with freshness and it seems nothing has been done about it. We won’t be going back. I’m not vegan, but I’ve followed detox routines where I ate raw food for several days, so I know what properly prepared raw food tastes like and have experienced the effects. This was something else entirely. Reading other reviews and seeing photos, it’s clear this isn’t the first time concerns about freshness have been raised, and frankly, it’s also not the first time these concerns seem to be dismissed rather than taken seriously. To be clear, I’m not looking for compensation, this isn’t about money. If I need medical advice, I’ll speak to my doctor. I’m sharing this experience to warn others, not to start a conversation.

Best place in town for pure food! Love this place it’s amazing for people who understand what’s raw food this is the place to be. I love the pure cacao what I use and the care of the products. Hiden gem in Amsterdam.

This was my third time at the restaurant and all the food was super delicious. Tried the raw burger and lasagna and family had the raw cakes and we all loved it. The staff is very nice and helpful as I asked for onion and garlic free options and they modified it for me, he place sells exotic fruit and herbal medicine as well. There is outside seating and also downstairs a clean toilet. Te only problem is that I dont live in Amsterdam to come more often :)

Love everything about this place. Can seat, detox, relax and enjoy really healthy food. The smoothies are very fulfilling and really enjoy their desserts. The place has a patio and inside they have a bunch of board games and books. Makes for a great place to go enjoy a meal, relax and chat.

It is always a pleasure to visit De Drie Graefjes. The service is constantly great and there is a tempting selection of cakes on display. Their red velvet and mash-up cake are really tasty and firm favorites of mine. The generous slices of cake are a real bonus and make it feel well worth the price.

I had a lovely experience at De Drie Graefjes. I stopped in for a drink and a slice of red velvet cake and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. I felt comfortable right away. It really felt like a little oasis in the middle of the busy city. The cake slices are large and incredibly delicious and the coffee is strong and well-made. I even took a slice home because it was so good! There are plenty of cozy seating areas upstairs and the free Wi-Fi makes it an easy place to relax for a while. A very charming café. I’ll definitely come back.

I usually come here for the cakes, but this time I decided to try something different and have a meal instead. Unfortunately, it was quite a letdown. I ordered the avocado toast – something I often enjoy elsewhere – but what I got was literally just dry toast with a blob of avocado slapped on top. No seasoning, no flair, just… bland. Tried to save it with some salt & peper, but no. It came with some uninspired nacho chips on the side as well, which didn’t help much either. I ended up sending it back. Apparently, you can add extra toppings (for an extra charge), but honestly, the basic version should still be decent enough to serve. There were a few other small things too, but I think this review is already long enough. Next time, I’ll happily stick to the cakes

Placed an order for my 30th bday and paid extra for the writing of “Fabulous 30”. I think the picture I uploaded says enough about the quality and the decor of the cake.. My 5 year old niece would have written it better and at least centered. 71 euros down the drain🙃

Great overall experience here at “The Three Graefjes” at the Rokin. The crew is friendly, welcoming and proactive. I was here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2PM and it was not busy at that time. The interior feels modern, with a vintage vibe. It’s clean and tidy. I wanted to try their red velvet cake, and I have to say… it was definitely tasty, not too moist, not too dry and most importantly not overly sweet! Make sure to leave some room, because the cake itself is quite heavy! If you order a drink, I recommend to order it without a lot of sugar added to it. Since the cake itself is sweet enough. Definitely recommended to try some of their delicious cakes!

Great place with lots of grilled and barbecue options. Very tasty and of course halal. Pastry 🍰 options are amazing. Haven for sweet lover really recommend. Keep in mind finding a parking spot is difficult in the evening.

I don’t know how it’s possible. The rate is so high is definitely definitely. It is over rate plus yes employees or nice friendly how possible they doesn’t have WiFi N I know how Turkish tea tease unfortunately it’s not fresh. I asked them to make it black coffee unfortunately I don’t think I will come back again by the way, so maybe they sold out or they don’t have some item on the which is in the menu.

Hi , I like the place, music and some dishes like KABAB and Trilitcha so much but I ordered Warm chocolate milk, it was not good , it is like hot water with a little sugar, I don't recommend it at all..I asked to change it ,they gave me an other glas but unfortunately It was the same..😤.. My experience at this café was not up to my expectations. The service was quite slow, which slightly spoiled the experience. As for the quality of the products, it was disappointing, especially the pastries. I particularly advise against ordering it, they were overly sweet and for the baklava or künefe of rather average quality comparing with the prise. In my opinion, it’s possible to find much better options nearby, especially with the presence of several similar establishments in the area.

Absolutely delicious turkish desserts!! Definitely recommend the different baklavas and künefe with turkish ice cream. The tres leches was pretty good too, but we might have had a corner piece since the cake portion was pretty thin. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place but make sure to make a reservation as it can get very busy!

It’s perfect if you want to taste real Turkish food without going there. Everything tasted exactly as it would taste in Turkey and the quality is great! Highly recommend! It’s a lil pricey though, but honestly I think it’s worth it. I also love that you can sit under the heater outside when it rains.

This was our second visit, and we noticed that the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than before and also smaller compared to other tables. It left us wondering if there was a reason for this. Additionally, the food was quite salty, which affected our overall experience.

Really nice Vegan place in west. I liked their cauliflower bites and noodles. Flavours are wonderful and food is delicious. They have great drinks as well with their own twist. I tried the magic lemonade and it was exciting :D Outdoor sitting makes it perfect choice for those summer brunches! Service is nice as well with courteous staff. I would definitely recommend it to check it out to fellow vegan and vegetarians.

My favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood, perhaps in whole Amsterdam! I loved the ramen before, but the Japanese green salad is amazing! It is absolutely delicious and it’s big and it’s only €12 by August 2025! Gochisousamadeshita! 🙏

I went with a friend and we tried a range of dishes. We shared 7 between us which was maybe one too many. The portions were good and we were very full. I would definitely go back.

Staff was exceptional. I was really surprised with the food. I did not expect all that much, but from the 3 dishes we ordered, all were really good. Did the mapo taste like mapo? No. But it was delicious nonetheless. Spicy cauliflower is a must eat. I would love to come again. My meat eating friend said that unlike with other vegan options, the food here was really flavorful.

A fully vegan restaurant with a very diverse Asian influenced spread. The Korean cauliflower bites was the star of the show, a must try! Kimchi toast was very good as well. The shanghai fried noodles had an interesting twist with crunchy okra in it. But the overall taste was decent, felt very clean and healthy but maybe the flavours could have been pushed up a notch. Wasn't impressed with the papaya salad, was too bland for our taste. We tried their homemade lemonades and they were really good. Hibiscus, matcha mint and the colour changing magic lemonade were all good and refreshing. The service is quite friendly and nice! They have a very colourful and cheerful decor with comfortable seating both inside and outside on the terrace. They have a good selection of cocktails as well. We didn't try them but maybe next time.

Extraordinary fries! My son is a falafel aficionado and said these were the best ever. It’s fun to make your salad or stuff your pita with extras. Simple little place with attentive service. Unfortunately I didn’t think of taking photos because my hands were full of yummy food. 😂.

Extremely rude Staff!! First of all, the food was nice. BUT the guy who served us was extremely rude. I ordered the meal deal (includes pita, fries & drink) with shoarma, he asked what we wanted to drink and then I paid. I was surprised by the price. Then I asked him "hadn't I ordered the meal deal?" And he replied to me in a very angry way that it wasn't possible to get the meal deal with shoarma, only with pita." I said okay, but why didn't he tell me that when I ordered. He just looked at me very angry and wouldn't talk to me anymore. I'm talking about that guy with the very long beard wearing a turban.

When i asked for their best dessert I got 2 recommended... So this is a dessert showdown on which is the best. The fruity one or the caramel desert... Both desserts are amazingly well balanced and not overpowering in sweetness... Delicious and decadent... What more do you want!? So the answer to what is the best dessert? We are split wich one is better..... But since I am writing this review, I would go for the fruity one.

So far this is the best patisserie that I tried in Amsterdam I LOVE IT! All the pastries are gorgeous and as a chocolate lover I can say that also the merengue lemon pie is stunning. Service is also perfect. I hardly found that level of courtesy in other places in Amsterdam.

Found this place on google map. Had a pleasant visit today. This dessert store is soooooooo cute! They have huge alphabet chocolate which I might get one in the future for friends birthday. The macarons are delicious and so many flavors. You can only put macaron in the fridge for 5 days so I didn’t buy lots today. The mirror glaze mousse cake I got today is also delicious. The berry mousse fits so good with the chocolate base, it’s not too sweet that make you uncomfortable and you can taste some raspberry in it. Oh and the staff was really friendly. Will definitely come visit again.

Great pattiserie, every pastry is made carefully and with so much detail, super delicious!

Terrible food. Pics or didn’t happen, right? The first photo is what I had, the second one what it was supposed to be. Bread was not baked properly. The filling was subpar. Bad “pinsa” overall. I had flat white with almond milk but the problem was the almond milk they use is sweetened. Why?? It was also very watery. Maybe desserts are good, I don’t know. I am dissappointent.

We had brunch as a big group and had a nice and big table to enjoy good food. The food was very good and we felt full after. When we asked for recommendation we recived a lot of offers from the service. Overall a good place with good food.

A café for a quick or last-minute bite. Nothing really stands out. The scrambled eggs were cold and bland. There were also two boiled eggs — I ended up dipping my croissant into them, since the cold, plain bread just didn’t make sense.
