You get to choose your base rice/noodles etc, protein/veg of choice, sauce & topping and they do a quick stir fry for you at your spice level preference 👍👍 great stuff! Open late

I know the customer is not always right, but we had a bad experience where we were double charged for some parts of our selection. Instead of admitting the mistake and being refunded we were told that there were double prawns etc in our food. The food was actually ok (I know this is hard to get wrong), and filled a late afternoon sized snack hole. But poor service always leaves a bad taste!

Like other people mentioned, large portions. I got the vegetable base with beef and shiitake mushroom add ons. Solid take-out food and they stir-fry it on the wok in front of you! Friendly staff who like to joke around, seem pretty happy, good vibes.

This place is pretty awesome for a quick hot noodle dish. You can put things together how you like and most of the combinations are under 10 Eur. It is quick even though it’s super busy, but unfortunately it’s super tiny. So better take the wok to walk #nojoke

We had a small selection of dim sum and bbq duck noodle soup. Btw we are from Toronto Canada so we are use to good quality Chinese food. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their food. The bbq duck was flavourful and lean and tender....not easy to make. A comfortable place to relax and enjoy the food.

When the Asian food cravings hit… this place delivered! 🍜✨ After weeks of traveling around Europe, I was so ready for a flavor change. My husband found this Bib Gourmand Chinese restaurant — it’s actually a floating restaurant near Amsterdam Central Station, which already makes it pretty unique! The decor was classic and ornate, full of traditional Chinese touches I honestly didn’t expect in the middle of Amsterdam. We were seated right away at a lovely window table with tons of natural light and a beautiful water view — perfect for watching boats and canal cruises drift by while we ate. We started with a couple of drinks and a pot of hot chrysanthemum tea, then ordered Mapo Tofu, Eggplant Clay Pot, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. Everything hit the spot and totally cured my Asian food cravings. I’d say the flavors are about San Francisco suburban-level good — not quite SF Chinatown-tier, but definitely solid. A strong 4 out of 5 from me! Outside it was cold and dreary, but inside we were cozy, sipping hot tea and digging into spicy Mapo Tofu — pure comfort. ❤️ Now, about the price… let’s just say, they’ll remind you you’re in Amsterdam! 😂 What would’ve been a $50 meal in the States came out to around $130 USD, but honestly, for that warm, satisfying moment, it was worth every bite.

Typical Asian atmosphere. Food is delicious but abit pricey sadly that’s why I removed a star. the staff are nice and English speaker, they help you and guide u through the menu. Location is close to central station and other shops. Great place for a date :)

I always thought this was more for tourists to go for food. And I appologize for that thought because every local should go here. The food is very tasteful and of high quality. We had a shared dining with Dim Sum and Peking duck. The portions are big and a good variety. The Peking duck is very good and huge so you can share one with 6 persons if you combine it with some vegetables and noodles. Juicy and soft meat with the nice crispy crust. You order with a QR code and the food comes rather quickly. We had as a family a wonderful evening at the rond table looking over the canal.

Lots of tables, easy ordering -via phone/QR code-, I had the duck bao buns, pan fried dumplings, shrimp and pork steamed dumplings: they were all delicious. Staff is friendly, price correspond to quality and water view/location. I enjoyed my meal and ambiance very much.

It was our second to last night in Amsterdam and we were looking for some Chinese cuisine. So, we landed in this place and were not disappointed with our overall experience there. We ordered Chilli Beef, Rice, Dim sum, Beer and Wine. The food was tasty, specially the Dim Sum which we liked the most. We also liked the Beef but it could have been a bit spicier. The service was welcoming and quick. Efforts were visible to make things look authentic as much as possible. The place is super comfortable and with a potential view of one of Amsterdam's famous canals. We could manage one and it made our dinner special. You can definitely give this place a try.

Good location, we had a whole lobster 🦞 and Dim Sum plus desserts. We only got one cutlery for 1 person, but we got some more after asking for it. We weren't informed that desserts will come altogether with the other food. It has been served immediately...so the coconut rabbits 🥥 🐇 🐇 and mango pudding 🍮 came first we wondered. The food was very good 👍🏻 Thank you. We would like to come again and order dessert at the end🤣

I enjoyed the food here, one of the best chinese restaurant in Amsterdam. It has the canal view that is very lovely and romantic in the evening, very close to the center and easily accessible. I would recommend the stewed beef chu hou & pecking duck dish, also sticky rice with lotus. Highly recommend

Every piece was way bigger than expected, and we ended up extremely full. Was really exciting to try all new dishes, and would love to try more next time. Favorite one so far was definitely the steamed glutinous sesame dessert.

Overpriced compare with quality and taste. Water is more expensive than Switzerland 😀 The taste of fried noodles (vermicelli) is weird since they use curry I think. Shrimp is small and only few. It’s not like Singapore vermicelli fried. The 3 meats menu is good. The pakchoy (vegetable) is also good taste, not overcooked. The tofu is so-so The portion is big. So, make sure it’s for sharing 😀

i liked the food and people are very nice. we were sitting near the door though, there was a draft sometimes. the mushroom buns were super cute. it's great that you get a whole bowl of dipping sauce for the jellyfish with egg. my fav sauce in the world I would drink it if it wouldn't dissolve my stomache membrane

Place is packed with tourists. Its a bit pricey but the food is good. We ordered alot. And we ate all of that food. Theyre also offering menusets and ala-carte options. They're pork dumplings ia so big! Try that one.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The milkshake was absolutely delicious — kudos to whoever made it. The service was excellent; the staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic across the board. The spring roll was top-notch, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The fried chicken… oh my god, hands down the best I’ve ever had .crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The noodles were great too, cooked just right and packed with flavor. A special shoutout to the chef, who was not only talented but also so friendly and engaging while preparing the food. It was such a nice touch to see the passion behind the dishes. Thank you to everyone for the great service and memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice and really huge store! The doodnis freshly made. I have had a Curry. Which was pretty good! Could have had a little more spices and taste. But the Chili sauce, they have - that is really hot! The prices are OK there. Its bot The best - but i can reccomend it!

I had lunch today here. My noodles were hard and a bit dry. Side dishes were ok. There was a discussion in the kitchen between 3 pp , 2 guys were talking bad to the chef because a order was wrong. Was not nice to hear this , in front of the customers it's not professional at all. And everybody can do mistakes.

I don’t get the bad reviews, people are quite pretentious and unreasonably mean. This is the perfect spot for an affordable meal in between running errands! We got 2 meal deals with spring rolls and teriyaki chicken bowls - great value for such a nice price! Very tasty bowls with fresh products, lots of chicken and the service is quick too :-)

While the food is great, it is annoying how the restaurant pays no mind to order specifications. I have ordered multiple times from them across different platforms yet it is the same issue. I don't eat eggs and onions. I find those disgusting and nauseating. For every order I make, I always leave a special not to not include those in my meal. For every single order though, they've gone ahead to do just that. I have to manually pick out every single trave of onions and eggs in my food. It is so annoying.

A bit too pricey for what you get in my opinion(I'm guessing the higher gas prices are to blame), but it's good tasting food. Takeaway is well packaged to contain the heat and the delivery issue other customers mention is forgiveable as they lack delivery workers. Although the customer support can be improved upon. Furthermore the place looks taken care of for the most part and the customer interactions are pleasant from what I experienced. Potential paves the way.

Was so bad experience !!!!!!! They were late to deliver 2 noodles meals for about 1 and half hour !!!!!! We ordered 2 chicken egg noddles and it simply came only without anything just fried noddles in a carton box !!!!! Later nobody replied after many calls and was so disappointing !!!!

Food took 2 hours to be delivered!! And when it finally arrived the quality was very poor. Super oily and saucy and the sauce tasted bad. We had to trash them all. Never again.

Waited 1,5 hours and got pretty poor wok. 18€ for super sweet wok (which appeared to be just plain noodles) with only 8-10 pieces of tiny chicken, each less than 1cm. Never ordering again.

The worst wok I've ever had. Disgusting sugar water (Tokyo teriyaki), which cannot be called a sauce.

I waited for over 1h and a half for my food to arrive after their indicated time, and it never arrived nor they updated the delivery time when asked for, nor they responded to any of my 11 calls. Uber Eats could not reach them either as they "deliver" the food themselves. Very poor Delivery Service.

I ordered at this place through thuisbezorgd with a friend, and by far the worst wok we've ever eaten. Both of our woks had this strange taste to them, despite the fact that they were completely different. Furthermore, the meat was way too chewy. I also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were as disgusting. I will never order from here again.

I have order by uber, 2 simple bruin rice with beef. I called first time the restaurant at 18.11 and ome worker answed and told me the guy just walk out of the door and its gonna be by my house in 10 min, then I callrd second time at 18.40 to ask where is my food and then other worker told me the guy walk out of the door 5 min ago he is on his way.. How is that possible??? If you guys have any problem in the kitchen or with organization just say to the costumers the true.. dont lie about. And by the way now it' s 19.13 and still the guy has not delivered my food yet, I should' ve recieved the food from 18.08 that what was write in the app.

Manneken Pis Amsterdam is a must-try if you’re craving fresh, hot fries. They serve generous portions with a huge variety of sauces to choose from (seriously, it’s hard to pick just one). The fries are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect for snacking while walking around the city. It can get a bit crowded, but that’s just proof it’s worth the hype.

The fries here are great! Just be warned! Portion sizes are HUGE! Order less than you think. A medium was the size of my head. The sauce is also a lot, but the fries themselves are so good. I definitely recommend

Nothing special and too commercial and there are plenty of other places that are better on the city. The fries tasted blank with no seasoning and the portion of sauces they serve is above normal. The line was not bad it only took us 6 minutes to order.

Famous french fries with variety of sauces. It's quite near from central station and just on the main road. Usually you observe a long line and wait time is around 10 to 15 mins, depending upon rush. It's definitely worth try. The taste is unique and so are the sauces.

The best sushi I ever had. Service was very quick and amiente is nice. It is pricey but so worth it. Reservation is a must. I would 100% recommend and want to eat here again.

I really wanted to try this one, but it compared to my expectations, it was okay. The staff were kind, and the atmosphere. Some menus were brilliant but some were not so special. What a treat! This place was packed a Sunday evening in October, that’s a good sign of a great place. They have a huge selection of Asian dishes with an interesting twist. Winner was the two times tuna, Korean bbq beef and the Cuban cigar dessert. I will definitely come back here again

At A-Fusion in Amsterdam you’ll find more than sushi — one highlight was the oysters: small, elegant, served with a delicate yuzu-pearl garnish. They set the tone for a night of creative Asian fusion — Chinese, Thai, Japanese influences all on one menu. Just a tiny thing: the dish has only three oysters, so if you’re a big fan, you might want to get two portions. I ended up with three, but I should have ordered at least five—it was too late to add extras. We had a reservation for 10 PM, and we were a bit late, but they still let us in and took such good care of us. But hey, with the oysters, sushi, dumplings, and grilled skewers, we were super happy and already dreaming of coming back!

Soup dumplings were the highlight in the menu, and the pancakes were a miss. This is probably a mid-range dining place in terms of ambience, pricing is based on a high-end place (€8 for a bottle of water!). Overall pretty decent dining experience.

Somewhat disappointing. We asked the patron to provide us with some starters before the Peking duck arrived. We were given some nice options, but were surprised by a starter with Peking duck skin and caviar. Some consultation before bringing the most expensive supplement on the menu would have been nice. The ordered Chablis from 2021, €90 a bottle, turned out to be a 2023. When confronted about this, we were told that the 2023 costs almost the same. As compensation, we received a glass of red wine. Neatly arranged, but it was all just not quite right. The Peking duck, which everyone raves about, was on the dry side. At the end of the dinner I wondered whether this was really worth the €330 we spend. I suspect not.

Always my first choice for Chinese cuisine in the Amsterdam area. Really authentic and cooked with heart. The ambience is nice as well. They offer a seasonal menu that changes every few months. The menu includes dim sum, spicy dishes, noodles, and dumplings. There are also some vegetarian and vegan options. 🌱 The wine list is also well-curated and full of great selections. The service is excellent — the man in the black shirt has strong knowledge of wine 🍷, and the man with blonde hair offers warm, welcoming service.

A wonderful restaurant with amazing menu and delicious food! Authentic Chinese cuisine with amazing service right in the middle of amstelveen! I went with my family for dinner and it was a surprise to me to have such a special place near by where we don’t have to have a long ride to go to a nice restaurant. Now for food, the hot and sour soup was delicious, loaded with black pepper and can be made vegetarian Dumplings and dem sum is definitely the star of the show and probably why i will be visiting again! I had a vegetarian one filled with mushrooms and the kids had a lamb one and shrimps one. All was 10/10 For the main course we all were almost full, portions are quite large so I guess order less as it’s quite full filling. Seabass was delicious and the veggies were so made to perfection!

The beef noodles at this place are top tier. You can choose between braised or sliced beef, clear or spicy soup, and a variety of different noodles. I highly recommend their braised beef and wide noodles, which comes with sides of tea eggs and pickled potatoes at about €17. The flavour and aroma shows the effort that has been placed in the quality of the food they serve. I have not had a better version. The only draw for me was that the environment was quite spartan, in Amsterdam it’s easy to get used to done up restaurants -but with that being said it was very clean. And the food more than made up for it.

Really yum!!! Handmade noodles 🍜 the gyozas are incredible good. I am addicted to the soup. The braised beef soup is my favourite. I am also addicted to the amazing changing side salad which they serve with every soup order.

Tasty lanzhou noodle restaurant. Did not change google listing for some reason. You have to order at the counter and they bring the dish to your table. You can choose noodle thickness and side dish. Noodles are hand pulled and extremely fresh. When restaurant is busy quality does suffer imo.

Great chinese beef noodle soup restaurant. I had the beef broth with some beef slices and hand carved noodles and some coriander. Simple but very good. Good chili oil and vinegar on table, and for toppings you get an egg and can chose some pickled vegetables. The interior is a bit bleak but there are lots of chinese people eating there which i take as a good sign. Price of 15.5€ is not cheap but on par with amsterdam.

Food mediocre, and too many tables cramped in one space. It gets very loud in the restaurant since they didnt install any sound blockers (like curtains, ...) The service was pleasant and correct. Also, don't come here if you expect Asian/Chinese food. It's more French with Chinese cuisine influence.

The best Chinese fusion restaurant in Amsterdam. Comfortable and cozy atmosphere, attentive and unpretentious service. Food with technique and flavor, if you enjoy good food this is the place. High expectations, but disappointing experience. Bone marrow dish was nice, as was the zucchini starter. Amazing choux for dessert. But overall no bold flavors, nothing exceptional and memorable, the dessert (undersold by the staff) was actually the star.

Café Wu in Amsterdam is a truly extraordinary experience. The simple and cool atmosphere, the unpretentious but attentive service, all contribute to a very pleasant evening. Surprisingly good Mexican flavors in Amsterdam, who knew? My barbacoa beef burrito was nice and spicy, without being TOO spicy. Fillings were all fresh and flavorful. The Baby Burrito size was more than enough for an adult; I can't imagine how impressively large the regular burrito would be!

Two years ago I spent five months in amsterdam, and salsa shop became very important to me <3 Well, today I was finally able to come visit amsterdam and of course on my first day I had to go visit my love... salsa shop ❤️ And omg u guys.... my burrito was absolutely perfect!!!! We stumbled upon this place after the Heineken Experience, on our way to another museum. We were hungry and it seemed convenient, and honestly, the staff were very friendly with super nice service — definitely a welcoming spot. Curious about their Mexican options, I ordered 3 tacos de carnitas. They were okay, but I wasn’t expecting authentic food either. Outside of Mexico, I’ve noticed that “Mexican food” often just means some meat or chicken wrapped in a tortilla with beans, corn, cheese, and sour cream. If you put those together, suddenly it’s called “Mexican fresh.” The carnitas here were really far from what they should be. They were cold, which made the grease hard, and the tortilla wasn’t properly warm. On top of that, they even asked me if I wanted sour cream with them — which for carnitas is a total sin! It felt like asking an Italian to put sour cream on pasta. Definitely not close to how we prepare them back home. The price also felt a bit high for what you actually get. In the end, it was helpful because we were hungry, but I wouldn’t really call this Mexican food.

They sell very poor quality food, the beef is poor quality and with tendons, I have thrown it away, I do not recommend it to anyone, do not spend your money there, the staff is not pleasant either, I do not understand how this business is still open.

Nice food, although they mess up the order several times. The cook is quite rude. Sometimes they pretend that the credit card payment system is out of order while it is not, some others they accept card payment but apply 50cents surcharge, which I am not sure is legally possible.

An absolute rip off, advertising outside says from €5.99 that’s only the base, meaning rice, noddle, etc. ingredients are not fresh at all, and the overall quality is simply bad, not to mention the customer service is terrible.

Really bad experience. The staff was rude and not communicative, they charged us extra for card payment. I ordered veggie wok noodles, and the posters outside mentioned that this included veggies like mushroom, broccoli, etc but they only threw in some cabbage. I paid extra for tofu but it was really old and chewy and gone off. There was barely any sauce or flavour or even salt. The quantity was small too. Don't recommend it.

I went there based on the reviews I read and full dissapointment unfortunately The noodles were overcooked, poor selection of veggies ( corn, onion), and chicken swimming in a sauce of strange taste. The dish called "wok a holic", reminded me times when I was buying ready to cook dish worth 2 euro. Here 12, which is six times too much.

Workers are really nice but the food is bad. It's not asian the flavors are weird and feel artificial. we ordered 4 dishes and wait more than 20 min I was quite disappointed I got some weird rice with tomato sauce that felt like ketchup

no heating in the restaurant! cold and wet! unpleasant! as for the food it is the worst wok I have ever eaten. completely tasteless, very little meat and simply not good. I do not recommend

Walked by and smelled something amazing, which turned out to be very much not the case. Somehow the noodles were overcooked but the shrimp and onion were undercooked. Everything was very greasy, and we couldn’t even finish our meals. Unfortunately they don’t seem to know very well what they’re doing.

Yesterday was the first time I ordered from Yasai Wok. The food arrived according to the time it was indicated to come and it surely was delicious; I enjoyed every single bite. But, prior to the feast -whilst opening the neatly secured bag the food was transported in- I realized that part of my order didn't arrive. After calling Yasai Wok to get inside information on this mysterious case, it became clear what happened. The item in question was out of stock and the team forgot to inform. Could happen, I'd say. There might always be bumps in the road, but if you learn how to ride your vehicle like a true Dakar chauffeur, there's no sand drift you can't drift on. What I mean to say is: how you solve it, is what really matters! And, Yasai Wok solved it in the most beautiful way possible. They delivered another dish for free. That shows real character, if you'd ask me! I would recommend Yasai Wok to everyone, especially those who like wok and trustable employees. And for myself; 10/10 would order again.

I order from yasai at least once a month, literally the best wok take-out you can get in Oost. Udon noodles are my favourite with Yasai sauce, definitely try it when you're there!!! Also customer service is 10/10, they always call me if the have any shortages which is very nice 👍🏼

Went to Oops Malatang after seeing it on TikTok and I really liked the concept. You pick out your own ingredients, pay by weight, and then they cook it for you in the broth of your choice. The staff was super attentive and helpful, which made it easy to figure out how everything works. I tried the Sichuan spicy broth and loved it. The bone broth was also good — though without any spice. With every bowl, you also get a little sauce dish to mix your own dip at the sauce bar, which really takes it up a notch. The food overall was really good, though it depends a lot on the ingredients you choose. It’s fun to experiment and figure out what combinations you like best.

Delicious malatang, their spiciest broth is not the spiciest I had so far but I’m satisfied. Their tomato broth is thicker than other flavours. The sauce selection would be better if they had minced garlic or peanuts. It’s at a super convenient location and I’m awed by the diversity of choices for ‘starch items’. For the first timers, I recommend 15-20 euro worth of items, and don’t put a lot in at once! I’ll be back again at this place :D

Liked this place with noodle soups, which were really good. They have interesting concept when you choose which ingredients (noodle/meat/vegetables etc) you want and put them in the bowl and then they cook it and add a clear soup. The price is about 4,2 Eur per 100g (without soup) and the minimum portion size should be 350 gramms. But be careful when you pick ingredients it's tricky with that big size bowl they give you and easy to put much more then 350gr 😅 Also they have souces or grilled onion for free

i’ve been there a couple times now and i definitely would recommend! the staff is friendly and will help suggest if needed. they’re very clean as well. personally i love the tomato soup base, such comfort food!the location is also perfect with either public transport or just walking.

The fish balls and crab/lobster sticks all taste the same so maybe don't get too many. Did not like the shrimps. Otherwise, if you choose wisely it's good and big portion, the soups are nice. And the service is lovely! No tap water.

Straight 5/5 stars for me! Honestly this is the best malatang i have ever had!!! I tried the sichuan flavor with medium spiciness and it is BOMBBBBBB!! (I am asian but i cannot handle spicy food well, but the medium one is PERFFF, not that torturing spicy)The broth is the perfect consistency spicy, thick, flavorful so yum! And they a have a good sesame sauce as well ♥️ the condiments vary as well! They even have the tripe (yumsss) must have: the sweet potato noodle!!! Yumm the minus is just they don’t have tap water and mineral water is 3€! Other than that the price is quite good (just don’t overweight the malatang~) 🫕😍

Enough vegan options (veggies, tofu skin, tofu, noodles and the soup bases also) available! Each person gets one tong so unfortunately you can’t avoid cross contamination. Staffs were nice, the place is clean and the food was good. We’ve had better soup base elsewhere but not yet in Amsterdam so we’d go back here. They don’t offer tap water though. 4.1x euros per 100g and minimum 350g.

Food could be a bit more but that’s my only criticism - it’s nice that you can choose your own veggies/meat/tofu to go with different noodles and I got extra fresh chili because there Asia hot sauce is not really spicy.. so I have to give them 5 stars ❤️

I tried the udon noodles with chicken with the Hong Kong sauce. Was absolutely delicious! Big portion and so tasty. First try here and I would come back for sure. Also very good customer service. This is better than other wok places I have been to. Very affordable and quick service. Would recommand!

The owner of the place was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious, and the ingredients are fresh. There is a variety of veggies, carbs, sauces and protein to choose from. So worth the stop, if you ask me 😀

Super cool spot. Great prices, you customize the food ingredients yourself and they cook it in the wok. Super fast cook time. Got my food in under five minutes. Also the place was incredibly clean. Props to these guys

Lool this is clearly not a professional restaurant if they cant even follow their own opening times. Very sleazy, especially as you've recently opened. Food is good, although I dont recommend taking more than 2-4 things in your meal. The more options u pick, the less u get of the others.

Ordered off Uber Eats and I initially thought they forgot the sauce. I was so hungry and so excited but the noodles were so incredibly bland. Very little toppings too..
