Absolutely amazing! This is the kind of tourist trap that aren’t trapping 🤣 you deserve the hype! Their chocolate cookie (their only cookie) is amazingggggg even when you queue (the queue always look so long, but they’re actually so fast!) you can smell the good stuff there! It is sooooo soft in the middle, with white chocolate melting inside, and crisp on the outsidee oh God i LOVE♥️ and please eat it while it’s hot cause it’s 20000 times betterr! But don’t worry they give a very detailed way to reheat your cookie at home 🤭👍🏻 (1 cookie = 3€, 6 cookie = 15€)

Phenomenal cookie. Stopped by on a Friday morning to finally try “the best cookie in Amsterdam.” I got there about ten minutes before opening, and there were already 10–15 people in line. While waiting, I watched the bakers through the window. White aprons, trays of dough, golden decors, chocolate everywhere, and the whole scene felt straight out of one of those candy-factory montages from old movies. Once inside, the process was simple. They sell only one kind of cookie, so you just choose how many (up to two dozen per person) and whether you want them in a tin or a paper box. Since I was flying them home, I went for the tin, which seemed to be what most people did. The staff were incredibly kind. One of them even handed me the last warm cookie from the tray for free. The cookie was simple but a perfect mix of dark chocolate batter with a core of white valrhona chocolate. It had that deep roasty aroma that lingered without bitterness, and it wasn’t too sweet. I’ll admit, I’ll always measure cookies against the ones my mom baked when I was a kid, but this was the closest I’ve come to that memory of a “perfect chocolate cookie.” They even include reheating instructions, and sure enough, once I pan-warmed them back home, they somehow got even better. My only regret was not getting the full two dozen.

Simply the best cookie we have ever had. The white chocolate filling was so creamy, and fits perfectly within the soft and rich cookie. It’s no wonder the shop continues to draw the crowds with just one item on its menu!

My friends and I just happened to walk pass after shopping at Bijenkorf Amsterdam. The queue was long but we still joined in the queue. There’s only one item to purchase yet, it’s so popular. The cookie making at the workshop was an essential part for me while waiting in the queue. While my turn to purchase, the cashier worked efficiently to pack and done. Taste wise, it was good and I adored the texture if the cookies, it’s crunchy on the outside and little chewy on the inside. Not too sweet but that’s excellent for me.

Apparently, this is the must-try cookie shop in Amsterdam, so of course we had to check it out. We even skipped dessert at Bistro de la Mer just so we could try these famous cookies! When we arrived, the line was super long—but it moved really fast. It was actually fun watching the cookie makers through the window as they molded the dough by hand and pressed chunks of white chocolate into the center. Kind of like the see-through kitchen you see at Din Tai Fung, if you know what I mean. The cookies were warm, chewy, and definitely tasty. But honestly, they didn’t blow my mind. If I bake cookies at home and eat them fresh out of the oven, they’re also warm and chewy—so this didn’t feel too different. Still, it was fun to try once and worth the experience. Four cookies cost €12—not exactly cheap—but the packaging is cute, and the shop itself has a great vibe. Overall, glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Insanely amazing cookies! Soft and crispy at the same time! There is always a hugeeeee waiting line so make sure to go early. They shut the moment they are out of cookies and they only bake a limited number of batches everyday. When we went they had a limit of only 8 cookies per person. You get an option to buy in a tin box or a regular paper box. Or even loose cookies if you want a single piece. They cookies are on the expensive side but worth a try.

So, so, so delicious! Definitely worth trying and even worth the wait. I missed out on getting a cookie on my first visit because I arrived about an hour before closing and they had already sold out. So the second time, I went 30 minutes before opening. There were only 5 to 6 groups ahead of me, but by the time it opened, around 15 to 20 groups were in the queue. I was the second one to go in and bought a box of cookies for a friend and one for myself. The cookies were amazing. The white chocolate inside added a nice twist and gave the flavor more depth. Service was fast, and you can watch the whole baking process, which makes the experience even better. 🍪🍪

During our visit to Amsterdam, we stopped by Van Wonderen Stroopwafels — a charming and well-known spot that’s certainly touristy, but still worth a visit. Depending on the time of day, you might find a long line wrapped around the corner or be able to walk right in. We sampled a few flavors — butterscotch, hazelnut crunch, caramel, and crispy delight. Each was freshly made, warm, and layered with just the right balance of sweetness and crunch. Our favorite was definitely Crispy Delight, with its perfect texture and rich flavor. That said, it’s definitely on the pricey side — €11 for a small and €13 for a medium — but for a first-time experience, it felt like a fun (and tasty) indulgence that lived up to the hype.

The staff were very friendly and the stroopwafels were presented beautifully, making for a great photo opportunity. However, the prices are clearly set for tourists. While there’s no proper seating area, you can find a bench to wait for your order. However, it can get quite cramped, making it less ideal for strollers or wheelchairs. One downside is the pricing. For a mini waffle, they charge a hefty €11, which is quite pricey. This might be the reason behind the low rating.

Cute little shop, not very big. When I went, it wasn’t crowded at all. The stroopwafel I ordered came topped with Oreo. I thought it was delicious for the first 2–3 bites😅😂, but after that it got a bit too sweet for me because the caramel filling was quite rich. One piece is best shared between 2–3 people.

This place is nothing but an overpriced tourist trap. I paid €11 for a stroopwafel that tasted no different than a €2 supermarket version – overly sweet, flat, and absolutely not worth the hype. What shocked me even more was the disgusting hygiene. The entire floor was sticky and covered in crumbs, the counters were filthy with syrup and toppings scattered everywhere, and the staff uniforms were stained. Employees were preparing food with their hair not properly tied back, leaning over open ingredients while talking and breathing directly onto the food. The stroopwafels are not kept in any hygienic or closed environment – they just sit exposed while staff and customers crowd inside. It’s clear this place focuses only on looking good for Instagram photos with chandeliers and “fancy” decor, but behind the counter it’s a complete mess. Watching my food being made in such an unhygienic environment was honestly disturbing. Amsterdam has far better options: at local markets like Albert Cuyp you’ll find stroopwafels that are fresh, authentic, hygienic, and sold at a fair price. Avoid Van Wonderen at all costs – overpriced, dirty, unsanitary, and disappointing.

Small shop with very friendly staff. We wanted to try fresh stroopwafels, and the taste is hardly comparable – not too sweet and nicely warm. You can also choose a topping, and we even took some home in a cute tin. Still a bit pricey.

It is always a pleasure to visit De Drie Graefjes. The service is constantly great and there is a tempting selection of cakes on display. Their red velvet and mash-up cake are really tasty and firm favorites of mine. The generous slices of cake are a real bonus and make it feel well worth the price.

I had a lovely experience at De Drie Graefjes. I stopped in for a drink and a slice of red velvet cake and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. I felt comfortable right away. It really felt like a little oasis in the middle of the busy city. The cake slices are large and incredibly delicious and the coffee is strong and well-made. I even took a slice home because it was so good! There are plenty of cozy seating areas upstairs and the free Wi-Fi makes it an easy place to relax for a while. A very charming café. I’ll definitely come back.

I usually come here for the cakes, but this time I decided to try something different and have a meal instead. Unfortunately, it was quite a letdown. I ordered the avocado toast – something I often enjoy elsewhere – but what I got was literally just dry toast with a blob of avocado slapped on top. No seasoning, no flair, just… bland. Tried to save it with some salt & peper, but no. It came with some uninspired nacho chips on the side as well, which didn’t help much either. I ended up sending it back. Apparently, you can add extra toppings (for an extra charge), but honestly, the basic version should still be decent enough to serve. There were a few other small things too, but I think this review is already long enough. Next time, I’ll happily stick to the cakes

Placed an order for my 30th bday and paid extra for the writing of “Fabulous 30”. I think the picture I uploaded says enough about the quality and the decor of the cake.. My 5 year old niece would have written it better and at least centered. 71 euros down the drain🙃

Great overall experience here at “The Three Graefjes” at the Rokin. The crew is friendly, welcoming and proactive. I was here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2PM and it was not busy at that time. The interior feels modern, with a vintage vibe. It’s clean and tidy. I wanted to try their red velvet cake, and I have to say… it was definitely tasty, not too moist, not too dry and most importantly not overly sweet! Make sure to leave some room, because the cake itself is quite heavy! If you order a drink, I recommend to order it without a lot of sugar added to it. Since the cake itself is sweet enough. Definitely recommended to try some of their delicious cakes!

I got a Cinnamon Roll to go and it was tasty! The downside was the cream topping on the side as I expected the classic cream cheese but it was just whipped cream. Equally, the cinnamon roll was a little dry on the exterior but the closer you got to the center the doughier it gets. Overall it was good, but I would probably try elsewhere. The staff were friendly though! 😘

Stumbled upon this place by pure chance, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The chocolate here exceeded all expectations — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. Each bite felt indulgent yet comforting, making it one of those discoveries you can’t stop thinking about. I also loved that they offer a wide variety of sizes, from small bites perfect for a quick treat to larger portions that make beautiful gifts. It’s the kind of spot you might walk past without noticing, but once you step inside and taste it, you’ll be so glad you did.

We loved sour experience - the pastries were amazing, good quality coffee, small area but cozy. We also went to the stroopwaffle workshop and made our own stroopwaffles which were delicious!

The chocolate cake is unreal. Super moist and such a great chocolate flavour. Not too sweet with the cream cheese frosting and dulce de Leche filling. Could easily polish off the whole cake!

I found this stroopwaffel to be even better than Rudy’s and there were unique flavor options to try. I went with the biscoff which was fabulous. I wound up eating the entire thing!

I tried some of the mini cupcakes, carrot cake, caramel and choclate; they were all good. However, I reccomend you to wait before consuming them, otherwise the cream will feel like ice cream.

What a nice store! I have been in a Hotel, almost directly beside this store. They have awsome cupcakes - i bet, all is selfmade. Also they have other things like cookies and so. Everything tasted just awsome! I can reccomend this bakery absolutely to everybody!

This was my first time ordering from this shop. Ordered for my daughter’s first birthday. The cake was very beautiful looking and exactly what I would ask for . The butter cream was a bit sweet for us but it was perfectly prepared and tasted very fresh and I will definitely order from here again

Great for a good and affordable snack. Try the traditional Dutch options. Ask for the sandwich of the day or the current promotion. Stop by for a coffee, fresh juice or cake they also good! Now even with more delicious desserts!

Divine little takeaway bakery style shop. Cookies, slices, cupcakes, cannolis, all the things a sweet tooth could desire. Also seem to do rolls for the more savoury approach. My favourite was the salted caramel almond and oat cookie 😊

I visited this place for the first time and was trying to understand how things work, I had a few basic questions about the food, like what a “zalm salade” is and whether the “spread of the day” was fresh. Instead of being helpful, the staff was impatient, dismissive, and even sarcastic (telling me the spread was “6 years old”). When I calmly pointed out there was no need to be rude, she remained confrontational. As an international visitor, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. The attitude came across as unkind and possibly even discriminatory toward people who don’t speak Dutch fluently or are unfamiliar with local norms. The place itself seemed okay, but the staff’s behavior really soured the experience. Would not recommend if you are expecting kindness, patience, or a welcoming vibe, especially if you’re new to the area.

There almost every morning, it's a great sandwich shop, wide variety, good coffee and for the sweet tooth everything you need, cupcakes and such! Just felt like making sure the world knows! Luv!

Very nice vegan place. I like this cute design of interior. So delicious food! But they should make cheeseburger spicy less. I like that people are very friendly here and they take cash and don’t use disposable tableware.

I really enjoy eating at this place. I’ve been to it about 3 times. I definitely recommend the BBQ Cheeseburger. It is really good! Their mylkshakes are also amazing! My favorite is the Unicorn Cotton Candy & Strawberry. Definitely recommend for vegans and non vegans like me ;)

Insanely good food. Easily the best vegan nachos and burger we have had ever (& we live in london which has amazing vegan food!). The nacho portion for one person was massive even though it said it was a snack. Super tasty and quick to come out. Staff are friendly. Milkshake was incredible, absolutely worth it and a decent size. Cannot rate this place more! Worth the walk off the main beaten tourist track

Amazing vegan Burgers we got here. You have to go there this place is fantastic. Super sweet pink interior and comfy. But the food is... I mean there is no word to describe it. Come and try it out. We orderd fries to our meal which where delicious. Really really good food. Thanks for making my stomach sooo full and me so happy

UPDATE 18/11/2022 Love this place, bbq nacho bucket always to well packed with flavors. Tried the tacos too and they were well up their game love the spices. Also the curly fries are so fresh wish that they did a larger portion though for that price because it comes in a cup which is rather small. This place is so nice! The vibe it gives, the nice people who work there and its Food! The burgers they have there is such a great quality! And its also good to know that they serve a vegan softserve which is so delicous! Actually I just liked everything on the menu and thats what I think is impressive knowing that I am quite picky with tastes/food. They even have my fav Rose Lemonade which I ADORE💝 Definitely stop by this place if you have the munchies or want to try their delicious Mylkshakes!,, Its easily ascessible with either the tram 24 or Metro 52 at the stop "The Pijp"

Delicious and indulging dishes, great milkshakes, good coffee, very friendly service. Galaxy pancakes were incredibly delicious. Ramen nooodles are very flavourful but quite spicy. Overall this place is amazing and worth a second and third visit.

The milkshakes/sundaes were excellent albeit a bit much sweetness (but well I guess that's what I signed up for with a milkshake...) The Ambiente is quite nice too and they have a unisex toilet which is a great plus. Anyway we were there again to try some of the dinner options and safe to say there were delicious. The burger was crunchy and the nachos super flavourful. And the staff are super friendly too. Besides as we shared our food between two people they gave us two sets of spoons/straws for the milkshake/sundae and even offered to cut our burger in half. tldr: all-round great place with good sweet and savory food

I ordered this cake for my son’s 11th birthday. He asked for a dark chocolate cake, and I found exactly what we wanted here. It was perfect — moist, not too sweet, and with a rich chocolate flavor. My son loved it, and so did the guests.

Visited this place with a friend and tried several items of the menu. And I absolutely loved the place. From the ambience to the deserts and drinks. We tried the red velvet cake, caramel chocolate cake, carrot cake with pecans & white chocolate cheesecake. And for drinks blood orange juice & a moskou mule. The owner and staff were so welcoming and helpful helping us whenever we had questions about what we should order. And honestly everything was amazing not to sweet and so soft and fluffy. And i am very difficult with cake as I am a baker myself. But I had no complaints. Everything was absolutely perfect. And worth all the praise I'm giving. Haven't found another spot I like as much as this one. Everything was just right 10 out of 10 definitely recommend it.

If you're in Amsterdam, and in the mood to treat yourself to something sweet, this is the go to place. Sea Salt and Chocolate at the Haarlemmerdijk is their 2nd cafe in Amsterdam. Its interior is decorated in a woody, black and gold style which gives off that 'treat yourself' feeling even more. The cakes we shared to try: red velvet, white chocolate cheesecake, carrot and pecan and salted caramel chocolate cake were all very moist and tasty, with a good balance between sweetness and flavour. No flavour was too overpowering. The staff was welcoming and made time for some friendly conversation. The opening times (7 days a week from 10:00-23:00) make almost every moment of the day a good time to have a bit of cake. What's not to like about that, right? This is a place I will be going back to again when I am in the neighbourhood.

We tried the carrot cake and blueberry cheesecake with hot chocolate for dessert tonight and everything was amazing. Very cool vibe and clean inside this shop.

This place was actually quite enjoyable — the taste was definitely not disappointing. Although the queue was a bit long, it added to the anticipation. The dough had a lovely aroma and just the right level of sweetness, not overpowering at all. It’s the kind of treat that feels balanced and well thought out. However, if we’re talking pure value for money, I personally feel that the red-themed shop nearby still wins. That one delivers a more satisfying experience in terms of both flavor and portion size. Still, this spot is worth trying if you’re in the area and don’t mind the wait.

Rudi's was my first experience with fresh stroopwafels and they were delicious! The waffle was thin and crispy and the filling was not overly sweet. I prefered the version without chocolate. I visited the Albert Cuyp Market on a Friday around 11 AM and there was a line for Rudi's but it moved very quickly. Note that the line is mostly uncovered so you'll be exposed to the elements. You can also buy a package of 10 stroopwafels, which makes great gifts. Just make sure if you choose to buy the metal tin for the stroopwafels, you grab a package of stroopwafels as well (otherwise you will have just paid for an empty metal tin).

At first I thought it was just hype, but now I get it. For a very reasonable 4 Euro (other tourist traps are waaaay more expensive), you get THE BEST stroopwafels money can buy. Note that it’s not always open and apparently they sell out pretty fast - but if you get the opportunity, come here! I got the chocolate stroopwafel which was heavenly. The original side was crispy and had hot caramel, and the texture was perfect - light, crunchy but still had a good bite. The chocolate side was great too, it added another dimension of flavour - almost making it seem like the original was missing something (however the original is already perfect, if that makes sense). The service was excellent too, the staff were friendly and seemed like they’re having a good time.

The waffles were very flavorful, with a pleasant cinnamon and caramel aroma. The staff there are fantastic. Be sure to buy their waffle packages so you can enjoy the great taste even after your trip. I’m not a fan of adding unrelated toppings to waffles like many places in Amsterdam, which are often expensive, but here you can find the best classic waffle.

Delicious! Generous amount of caramel & surprisingly not too sweet- however, it's nothing actually particularly special compared to others in the city, so in my opinion it's not worth waiting in the very long line. You can get equally great, freshly made stroopwafels elsewhere without the hassle. Service is very friendly however :)

Visited Rudi’s Original Stroopwafels in Albert Cuyp Market and it was one of the highlights of my Amsterdam trip. The stroopwafel was made right in front of me — thin, crispy layers filled with warm, gooey caramel syrup. The combination of sweetness and texture was perfect, especially with the market’s lively atmosphere in the background. The staff were cheerful and welcoming, clearly proud of their craft. If you’re in Amsterdam, this is an absolute must-stop for an authentic Dutch treat — simple, delicious, and unforgettable.

It was a long-awaited visit to the original stroopwafel shop! I’ve tried so many versions over the years—even the ones from Costco—and have always been a fan. I even tried the fresh ones from Hans Egstorf once, but honestly didn’t like them (and they charge twice the price of Rudy’s!). We arrived “early,” around 10:50 a.m., before they officially opened, and there were already a few people in line. The father who founded this famous spot was such a gentleman—so kind and warm—and his son, who made my stroopwafels, was funny and just as friendly. We started with one original and one chocolate-dipped stroopwafel, plus a tin of pre-made ones to take home. After trying both, we preferred the original. We walked around a bit, then decided one tin just wasn’t enough (lol), so we went back for another fresh original and another tin to bring home. By then, the line was long, but it moved super fast. I wouldn’t say the fresh ones are necessarily better than the pre-made ones—they’re just different. The fresh ones are warm and crispy, while the pre-made ones are cold and crispy, each with its own charm. With a nice cup of coffee or tea, both are absolutely delicious. All in all, I loved the whole experience and will definitely be back next time I’m in Amsterdam. The price of €3 is very reasonable too! Note to the neighboring vendors: one of you should seriously consider selling good tea, coffee, or hot chocolate to go with Rudy’s stroopwafels instead of those ubiquitous t-shirts! Trust me—you’d do far better business. One needs a drink to go with these stroopwafels… otherwise, you might just choke from all that deliciousness! 😄

good service and we enjoyed our quiches for lunch. the space is very small, a little crammed, but we could still sit inside to eat. it was good value (about €7 for a quiche i think and it was served warm with a little side salad)

This is a little gem! We stopped as our eyes caught the glimpse of their window from a cross the street , it was pretty. The shop is small but very clean and presentable, there was a huge variety of fresh creamy cakes, biscuits and chocolates. We decided to get 4 cakes to go and the lady that served us was so kind and packed them so we could enjoy them while walking . This was a treat for our taste buds, so fresh and light, full of flavour. When we go back we will definitely pay another visit and try other treats. This is definitely a place that is worth coming back to and needs to be recommended.

Unchanged since 1928 Patisserie Holtkamp holds a special place in the hearts of locals, the facade at Vijzelgracht 15 providing only a small glimpse of the treasures within its beautiful Art Nouveau interior. A tightly packed space, all four walls filled with delicacies ranging from handmade Chocolates and Cakes to packaged Confections, staff takes an old-time approach to hospitality by greeting each guest with warm smiles before boxing each item carefully. Far more than Pancakes and Syrup Waffles, a Baba in thick Syrup as sweet as it is boozy, fans of Canele will find Holtkamp nearly as good as those in Bordeaux with a generous crunch giving way to mellow Cake with the texture of Custard. Also offering Macarons and Feuilletine, tempting but not enough to replace three Chocolates including one with Honeycomb, Dutch Tompoucen comes highly recommended thanks to all the elements of a Napoleon but more Pastry Cream.

I walked past this pastry shop and got the lemon cake. It’s the best I’ve ever had. The clerk is so friendly and patiently explain each flavor to me. I would love to visit again!

Best apple tart ive had yet, and I've already tried several others in the city! Very friendly staff too. No seating unfortunately, but theres plenty of places to sit and eat across the street with not too much foot traffic around.

We visited this patisserie in Amsterdam, to get cakes . Staff were too good and helpful and they offered us to taste some Gevuld Speculaas and it just melted in our mouth. Also we had chocoladepunt and it was really so good in taste. We took also Hazelnoot schuimtaart and it was also delicious in taste and you can ask them to add some text with some extra cost. Overall it is really nice to have some good desserts.

Great place with lots of grilled and barbecue options. Very tasty and of course halal. Pastry 🍰 options are amazing. Haven for sweet lover really recommend. Keep in mind finding a parking spot is difficult in the evening.

It is over rate plus yes employees or nice friendly how possible they doesn’t have WiFi N I know how Turkish tea tease unfortunately it’s not fresh. I asked them to make it black coffee unfortunately I don’t think I will come back again by the way, so maybe they sold out or they don’t have some item on the which is in the menu.

Hi , I like the place, music and some dishes like KABAB and Trilitcha so much but I ordered Warm chocolate milk, it was not good , it is like hot water with a little sugar, I don't recommend it at all..I asked to change it ,they gave me an other glas but unfortunately It was the same..😤.. My experience at this café was not up to my expectations. The service was quite slow, which slightly spoiled the experience. As for the quality of the products, it was disappointing, especially the pastries. I particularly advise against ordering it, they were overly sweet and for the baklava or künefe of rather average quality comparing with the prise. In my opinion, it’s possible to find much better options nearby, especially with the presence of several similar establishments in the area.

Absolutely delicious turkish desserts!! Definitely recommend the different baklavas and künefe with turkish ice cream. The tres leches was pretty good too, but we might have had a corner piece since the cake portion was pretty thin. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place but make sure to make a reservation as it can get very busy!

It’s perfect if you want to taste real Turkish food without going there. Everything tasted exactly as it would taste in Turkey and the quality is great! Highly recommend! It’s a lil pricey though, but honestly I think it’s worth it. I also love that you can sit under the heater outside when it rains.

One of the best ones in Amsterdam! Simply loved there creations. My review is dated several years back but I have tried their products many many times and consistently they have been great! Best to make a part of your celebrations or carry a few goodies on a picnic. Loved macrons, pastries, cakes, every thing!

When i asked for their best dessert I got 2 recommended... So this is a dessert showdown on which is the best. The fruity one or the caramel desert... Both desserts are amazingly well balanced and not overpowering in sweetness... Delicious and decadent... What more do you want!? So the answer to what is the best dessert? We are split wich one is better..... But since I am writing this review, I would go for the fruity one.

So far this is the best patisserie that I tried in Amsterdam I LOVE IT! All the pastries are gorgeous and as a chocolate lover I can say that also the merengue lemon pie is stunning. Service is also perfect. I hardly found that level of courtesy in other places in Amsterdam.

Found this place on google map. Had a pleasant visit today. This dessert store is soooooooo cute! They have huge alphabet chocolate which I might get one in the future for friends birthday. The macarons are delicious and so many flavors. You can only put macaron in the fridge for 5 days so I didn’t buy lots today. The mirror glaze mousse cake I got today is also delicious. The berry mousse fits so good with the chocolate base, it’s not too sweet that make you uncomfortable and you can taste some raspberry in it. Oh and the staff was really friendly. Will definitely come visit again.

Very good cookie spot! Has a line but it goes quickly. I got the brownie pistachio with white chocolate and the chocolate chip with caramel sea salt. It was only ~€7 for two and they were quite filling.

The cookie shop is quite small, but you really just go in and out anyway. As soon as you walk in, you’re surrounded by the most amazing cookie smell. We bought two of each flavor, and I’d definitely get them again whenever I’m in Amsterdam – the cookies were absolutely delicious!

Fresh, warm cookies that come in a few different flavors. I tried the dark chocolate and it was good. I don't think there is anything extraordinary about the cookies - they are similar to cookies in the US.

I’m a baker myself and I can say that, they have one of the best cookies I’ve tried! This was given to me as gift last year. So happy to visit Amsterdam last Saturday and get these cookies again. Worth the travel from Belgium! 😊

Can’t remember the name of the musicians we saw but thank you for making our weekend! High quality musicians who played their own riff on the likes of Bobby Caldwell, Bill Withers, with a Latin influence and great rapper. My mum is now a hip hop head. 8 euros to see fantastic musicians play all night long. Thanks we had a ball!

Great place with live music and drinks, place gets nicely backed with people, but thankfully bar staff works their way around and you can order a drink where you are. The band was also really good, so definitely worth the visit.

One of my favourite places in Amsterdam. Went there in two different trips, and both times I had such a blast... The musicians were insanely good, the ambient is great, people appreciate the music, the vibes all around are amazing. Plus the entrance fee is only 8 euros. 10/10 will go again every time I visit.

It is a bit overpriced (it is in the middle of the touristical area in Amsterdam) but it is a nice place to have a different type of evening. Live music, bands that are quite good at performing covers of rock and classic hits (Beatles, Stones, Creedence, Bee Gees...), and they have better beers than the usual Heineken. I had fun (until it got too crowded)

Live music was really good. The band was amazing. Well spent time to listen to some jazz and blues music. We paid €7.5 per person for the entrance at the door- without drinks. Overall experience is great and we’ll visit again.

My go to in Amsterdam, and for a good reason! The cinnamon brioche is my guilty pleasure alongside their coffee which is good and consistent. I love the fact that everything is sourdough, so naturally their bread is also divine! Always a joy to sit in if you are lucky enough to snag a seat 🤎☕️

love their (milk-based) coffee and the chill atmosphere but i write this review because i just tried their rye choco cookie today and it is a-ma-zing. chewy chocolatey with the perfect amount of salt. my only regret is i only bought one and seems like they don't make it every day. 🤣

I have to say everything is very good, except for the cinnamon and cardamon rolls ( dry and tasteless). But I'm giving 5 stars because the bread, baguette, gallettes, cheesecake, sandwiches, salami, eggs are sooo good! 😍 The bread + baguette have a good crunchy crust + soft inside. Hard to find something like this in Amsterdam. Good coffee too.

Delicious fresh baked bread, focaccia and other breads. Only a few choices but the specialties are very good. A very clean and modern place with a few tables to sit and enjoy, also offering coffee to sit in or take away, and bottles of wine to buy. Get there early as the bread sells out quickly! Especially on Saturday mornings.

This is my favourite place for sour sourdough bread and foccacia. What makes it special is that the dough tastes actually sour and it’s the most delicious. This makes me want to be a regular.

I bought yesterday a box of 6 cinnamon roll, it looked delicious but unfortunately they all tasted the same. It's very very sweet, full of sugar in the roll and the icing. Even my young daughter that loves sweets couldn't finish half a cinnamon roll. Really disappointing.. 😔

So delicious! Couldn’t believe they were vegan! They are soft but not airy- which makes them so filling and delicious, unlike Cinnabon or American cinnamon rolls I’ve had, that just felt like you ate air a second after, which made it super unsatisfying even while eating, but not like that with these! Some flavors we loved more and some less, but definitely would come again. I loved the original one the best!!

Every now and then I get surprised by a vegan bakery. I've never had a good vegan cinnamon roll before. But leave it to the wonderful bakers at Have a Roll to change my mind. This was a great experience and I loved the rolls we had. The apple pie topping was so unique and delicious. I highly recommend you stop here if you're in Amsterdam and grab a delicious Cinnamon Roll!

Fantastic cinnamon buns, probably the best in Amsterdam out of all cinnamon rolls i tried. They made it fresh, and nothing can exceed the taste of freshly baked bun in a winter rainy day. Go with the original roll, it’s already so good, if you want something different, I would recommend pistachio or pecan mixed. Besides that i have to give them a credit for a really nice, welcoming service and excellent store design.

Highly recommended! They have multiple choices of cinnamon roll and it tastes really good. Coffee is also good which is an important one next to this dessert. Place is small but you can also enjoy outside if the weather is nice. I got the one with cafe cream and liked it!

I LOVE these cinnamon rolls. Yes, you can skeptical about “vegan cinnamon rolls” but these are the real deal. They have a good variety of flavours and they are too sweet, they are the right amount of sweet and natural. Go to your nearest Have a Roll ASAP!

A fantastic breakfast experience next to Amsterdam-Zuid train station. Enjoyable casual atmosphere, staff was incredibly friendly and we enioyed a customized order of avacado toast, banana bread and almond croissant. They also made me a special dark hot chocolate with espresso shot added (like a mocha) which was recommended by the waitress. If you find yourself in the Zuid area you owe it yourself to stop by!

Ordered yoghurt bowl, and on the picture you can see - it came with a rotten banana. When I asked the waiter to have a look, he didn’t see anything wrong, so I had to ask to replace it. Then, they brought it with just more apple instead.. we had to wait so long to get served too, although it was Friday afternoon and empty. The only positive was the waitress from Oceania, very sweet and nice.

Quite rude server and waiters. They seem to only offer discounts via keep cup when it suits them. Have gone for months with sometimes a discount offerred and others not, dependent on who is serving. When asking about the discount they say (oh only when its above X euro do we offer it). their own menu states you ALWAYS get a discount... i will stop going to this location and happily pay more now at the BLACK brewer down the street after this

We had great cappuccino and latte. Banana cake was somewhat not our taste but the waiter was kind to exchange with an apple pie. It was professional and friendly manner. We appreciate it so much.

I passed by the place the othe day and thought it looks cute from outside. Today went to try their coffee and honestly, I think they have the best coffee in Zuidas. The waiter was very friendly and found us a nice table. I like the vibe of the place and the flat white I ordered was brought quickly. Last but not list, their almost croissant is to die for, super yummy and fresh. Will be back here for sure.

The bakery is pretty neat and clean. The breads taste good. But one less star as I felt I got a bit of old bread. Potentially one off, but will give it another shot. It’s right next to my gym hence very convenient. The best part is that it smells very good inside.

Sorry for this bad review. It was 10 pieces for 20€ (very overpriced) and really not worth it… some pieces were stale and dry (maybe on display for too long). It looks very aesthetic but the flavour and price / quality ratio doesn’t deliver

Very tasty, not overly sweet, but a little overpriced. The portions are really small, however, there is a big choice of sweets, some with pistachios, some with walnuts. I found some of the candies indeed a little bit dry, maybe they are not so popular so they spend too much time on the display. Pistachio nests were super good 🫶

Very good sweets, same quality as in turkey! Price is much higher, obviously, but okay for the centre of Amsterdam. They also participate in TooGoodToGo and give generous bags where you can try everything. You can also have matcha and coffee and here, but I didn’t have a chance to try them. Service is kind.

Super delicious! Not too sweet and very crunchy Arabian baklava and kunafa. They also have homemade halva/halwa stuffed with walnuts, freshly made and tasty. The only downside in my opinion is the location. Difficult to get there by car as it is downtown Planning to go there next time by bus or park somewhere far and walk to the place

Did what many other cookies in Amsterdam could not and satisfied by American cookie cravings. Fantastic recipe and equally wonderful owners/service. They mentioned the recipe was inspired by Levain and I can totally see (and taste) it! ;-)

My lord, what a revelation. Visited this tiny cute shop today just because I was attracted to the beautiful logo and colours. 1.5 hours later me and my boyfriend have devoured 4 cookies and would be going for more if that wasn't all I bought. Great job guys, we loved them! ❤️
