Hotel St. George Helsinki is a high-end establishment housed in a 19th-century building, offering chic accommodations, a spa, and fine dining alongside contemporary art. The hotel's bright and clean aesthetic is reflected in its rooms, which feature blonde wood and natural light. Guests can enjoy the spa's pool or indulge in treatments using luxurious brands like Omorovicza, Elemis, and Natureofthings.
Check in: I arrived around 11 am. I was informed my room had been upgraded (I’m only platinum so this was great news) but that my room wasn’t ready yet. They had chairs to sit down in while checking in. Such a simple detail is so much more welcoming. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. I returned at 1300 and she immediately checked to see if it was ready without even asking my name. She then escorted us to the elevator. I’ve never experienced such seamless customer service The room: there are so many small touches to remind you to relax. The room is very luxurious in its simplicity, finishing, and a big bathroom. I had a lovely view over the park Location is very central and a 20 euro taxi ride from the ferry Breakfast is 50 percent off for Marriott elite. They also include water and chocolate. Read more on the photo of the welcome letter. I’m only surprised they didn’t have a handwritten note from the manager given all the other special details (update: they do leave a note—I didn’t see it at 1st because it is on the back of a pretty postcard 🙂)

The hotel is in a fantastic location! The staff went above and beyond to help, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs offers a great variety of delicious food. I would definitely recommend staying here! The spa is also wonderful. The train is an easy ride from the airport to the hotel.

We stayed here for almost a week and impressed by what they offer. Everything is the right on and staff are all helpful and friendly. Wellness center, bakery, winter garden and the Thai restaurant are all worth trying. Rooms’ sound proof isn’t great if the room next door happens to be busy. Location is great. Overall I highly recommended this hotel.

Dear Hotel St. George Management, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for what was truly an extraordinary stay at your beautiful property. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of world-class. Your wellness spa set a new standard for relaxation and rejuvenation, the rooms were spacious and exceptionally comfortable, and the Winter Garden provided a setting as elegant as it was inviting. Breakfast was absolutely over-the-top, a feast that showcased both quality and attention to detail. The convenience of having the bakery on site was another highlight that made our time with you even more memorable. A special note of appreciation goes to the bartender pictured. His service and attentiveness stood out, and he made our evenings in the Winter Garden feel extra special. Please let him know how much we appreciated his warm hospitality—even if we may have enjoyed a bit more wine than we truly needed! It’s clear that your team takes great pride in creating a seamless and welcoming experience. Every detail, from the rooms to the dining, was executed with precision and care. We left deeply impressed and look forward to returning soon.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel St. George in Helsinki. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the experience memorable. Every staff member I encountered was professional yet personable, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities are world-class. The sauna was a true highlight, offering a relaxing and authentic Finnish wellness experience. The pool area is elegant and serene, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The gym is equally impressive, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a complete workout. Hotel St. George effortlessly combines luxury with comfort, and I left feeling refreshed and well cared for. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Helsinki — I will certainly return.

I don't even know where to begin! The concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, spa - all the staff were really nice, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and very central, and once you're back from a day out ... the spa and pool area is an incredible place to land back into. We want to thank Kalle and reception for a wonderful welcome and stay for our anniversary! Many many thanks and see you again next time.

Excellent location. Class architecture with modern and fashion interior style. Rooms were cozy. But some didn’t have nice view even with balcony with facing to roof/nearby buildings. Front desk staff were so friendly, helpful and cheerful. They were always so polite and welcoming to assist the guests. Price was reasonable with all its details and service.

I visited from Japan for honeymoon and I spent great time here :)The hotel interior is modern and stylish. I really liked the design of hotel room. In addition, This hotel has good access to station and I was able to go to supermarket and cafe within 10 minutes. Hotel staff are very kind and full of hospitality. When I visit Helsinki again, I definitely choose here:)

Crowne Plaza Helsinki - Hesperia, an IHG Hotel, is a four-star business hotel conveniently located between the city center and Messukeskus convention center. The hotel offers excellent transport links and a dedicated conference floor with event space for up to 1,500 delegates. Guests can enjoy the Sleep Advantage program with premium bedding and quiet zone rooms.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was exceptional. We loved the indoor swimming pool, the sauna, and the spacious children’s playground (you can pay a small fee to let the kids play there under the supervision of a hotel staff member, apparently it also serves as a daycare for staff and local residents). The location was excellent, the service was great, and everything was well-maintained. Our Junior Suite was spacious and very comfortable. We also had access to the club lounge, where we enjoyed free-flow drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) along with snacks. Overall, we would definitely recommend it and would be back!

After years and years of traveling, this is without a doubt the very best hotel I've stayed at! The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and the shower was amazing! The breakfast was worth every cent. The staff were so kind and friendly. The hotel's location is close to everything in the city. Short walks in each direction will get you to everything you'll need to see. There were plenty of vegan options with breakfast, which made my daughter happy and my life much easier while on vacation. We will definitely be returning to Finland and, most importantly, this hotel!
Joe H — Google review
One of the best hotels in Helsinki. Public transport is just out of the hotel. City center on a 10 min nice walk through green area. Rooms are very nice, you can enjoy the fitness and also the pool. Staff is very kind. Regardless what season you are travelling there you can enjoy nature and city.
Tamas N — Google review
Do not redeem award nights at this location unless you wish to be discriminated against. The service received at check-in was far from ideal. I was treated like a 2nd class guest after Staff L saw the reservation was redeemed with points. Mind you, it was points that were purchased from a promotion in September, which came out to a mere 10% discount off a normal stay. Furthermore, when I enquired about the parking since I had a vehicle, Staff L mentioned brashly, “you don’t get any cheaper around here.” I wasn’t even comparing the rates in the first place. Just charge me accordingly and move on from there. Separate encounters with other front desk staff, Nata and Badhir, were excellent. They were genuine and helpful in providing a service. Had it not been for them, I would have given a 1 star review.

Good hotel, if you have business in this part of town. Club rooms are nice (compared to Finnish standard). Gym is big and great for proper training. Breakfast is good (Finnish standard). Hotel usually gives an upgrade to IHG platinum members.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the room service was excellent. As an IHG member, I appreciated the option for late check-out, which made my stay more flexible. Both breakfast and dinner were good, with a nice variety. The location is fantastic — close to tram stops and within walking distance to Finlandia Hall. Definitely a convenient and pleasant place to stay in Helsinki!
Sona S — Google review
No complaints at all. Clean, modern and functional rooms. My room was surprisingly large, with a spacious bathroom. A bit far from the city centre, but ideal for example events in Helsingin Jäähalli. Nice place!
Jani N — Google review
The staff was very welcoming and they handled the kids well. Usually I'm used to bags being taken to rooms and brought back down but they didn't have that. Honestly it was a small disappointment I could accept since the location was great and so was the food.

Hotel Haaga Central Park is a laid-back hotel located just outside the city center, offering cozy rooms and a range of amenities. The hotel features an indoor pool, a spa with affordable treatments, and free use of Nordic walking poles and bikes to explore the nearby forest. Guests can enjoy group fitness classes and relax in saunas after a refreshing swim in the longest swimming pool in Helsinki. The on-site restaurant serves a plentiful breakfast, while the lobby bar offers a great place to unwind.
We stayed at the hotel from 20.08 to 23.08.25. The hotel is located in a peaceful area with a lot of greenery, grocery shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a good connection to the airport and the city centre. The hotel was cozy and quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. The standard rooms have aged a bit, but they were cozy and clean enough. The hotel breakfast was great, a lot of balanced options with fresh ingredients, and a very tasty pour over coffee. A large plus is a free access to a sauna, a pool and a gym. We took advantage of the latter every day, which we could access around the clock.
Natalia M — Google review
The room is not at all like the website advertises. The website made it seem like it is a beautiful nature-themed facility, however once you arrive to the room it is not at all what is depicted, but resembles more a college dorm. It is in a difficult spot, not very close to public transportation. The hotel does not provide extra towels nor daily cleaning either. The breakfast is the same daily, but has a great variety of options. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Musico V — Google review
The place was wonderful – the room was clean and cozy, and all the necessary facilities were provided. There is a pool and sauna available, which was a nice option to have. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of dishes. Our plane arrived quite late, so we were a bit late for check-in, but the staff were still there and welcomed us without any problems. The only drawback is the location, as it’s quite far from the downtown area. However, there is a bus stop just 3 minutes away with a direct line to the city center. I definitely recommend this hotel!
Dmytro K — Google review
My husband and I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm, professional, and attentive staff. A heartfelt thank you to Virpi and the entire team for their outstanding service. We had a situation regarding a cancellation request which was initially declined, likely due to a misunderstanding or unintentional oversign. However, once we followed up with the reception team, they took our concerns seriously and acted immediately. There were no empty promises - just sincere, solution-focused support. The team contacted Booking.com on our behalf and ensured the refund was processed smoothly. We felt genuinely cared for. Beyond that, the hotel itself is excellent: spacious and clean rooms, a beautiful wellness area, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. We’ll absolutely be returning next year. Many thanks again to the whole team for making our stay so pleasant and stress-free!

Rooms are good. Everything fine Breakfast... No normal Milk ( we asked for that ) No normal Butter Overall a downzised offering of food. Not the worst offering of breakfast i Had but not far away...

STAYED HERE FOR 5 nights. Linen was not change at all even you request it. Hotel location is good if you want to have a quite but somehow near the city. Reception closes at 10PM not good for late check in as no one will be there to accommodate you. Im wondering if there is any staff here after 10PM? Because no security guard as well. Restaurant is nice and good. Lot of options. Housekeeping VERY BAD. I asked them to clean my room asked to change pillow cover. They did not change it they just fixed the bed changed towels and that’s it. Even the hairs that you can see in floor they did not even vacuumed the floor.
Iah V — Google review
When I arrived at the Hotel I thought how can the pictures be so good in the internet when it looks a little bit old from the outside….But the hotel is like a surprise box. Inside the rooms are very comfortable, clean and get you soon in a chilling mood. The service at the counter is excellent and very polite. Also the restaurant was a big surprise. Very fresh and healthy breakfast and meals for a fear price in the evening. Also gym, pool, sauna and wellness is perfect. I can just recommend this hotel. Ps: Just a 10 Minutes walk from the trainstation away and within 15 minutes you are in central Helsinki

Hotel Kämp is a luxurious and elegant property located in the heart of Helsinki, offering refined rooms and suites with a late 19th-century style. The hotel is popular among celebrities and offers spacious guestrooms with marble bathrooms equipped with both bathtubs and showers. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a full gym, spa, sauna, and a French restaurant called Brasserie Kamp which serves buffet breakfast, all-day dining, and a popular Sunday brunch.
❤️ Updated review: I want to say a big thank you to the hotel team. For me, aesthetics and atmosphere are very important, and I truly appreciate that they didn’t ignore my concerns but responded with kindness and care. They immediately offered me a beautiful new suite with a boulevard view, which made my last night in Helsinki truly special. Thank you for handling the situation with such attention and respect. (Disappointed with my stay. There was no information that the hotel is under renovation — facade completely covered, no lobby area, temporary breakfast served in a dark basement-like space with no atmosphere. You feel like you booked 3* hotel. You book Kämp for the aesthetics, but right now there is none. Breakfast selection is also very limited — no included à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, only basic omelette. The view from the room is also disappointing — facing a dull inner courtyard, making you want to keep the curtains closed all the time. Definitely not the experience I expected.)

Hotel Kamp Helsinki delivers an exceptional stay that perfectly combines luxury, location, and outstanding service. From the moment you arrive, the staff sets the tone for your entire experience with their remarkably friendly and professional approach. Their communication skills are top-notch, making every interaction smooth and pleasant throughout your stay. The hotel’s strategic location is one of its greatest assets. Situated in the heart of Helsinki, everything you could want to explore is within easy walking distance. Whether you’re interested in shopping, cultural attractions, or business districts, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned to experience the best of the city without the hassle of long commutes. The accommodations themselves truly embody luxury. The rooms are beautifully appointed with high-end furnishings and thoughtful amenities that create a genuinely comfortable and elegant atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure guests feel pampered and well-cared for during their stay. The dining experience at Hotel Kamp is equally impressive. The restaurant offers excellent cuisine that showcases both local Finnish flavors and international dishes, all prepared to the highest standards. The quality of food and service in the dining areas matches the exceptional standards maintained throughout the property.

Didn't stay here. I wanted to, but with the whole renovations is still ongoing to the point that the entire street facade has been cordoned off, I'd rather stay elsewhere Cause...at that point you'd be better off shutting the whole place down until the renovation was complete instead of continuing to operate. Very concerning that a 5-star hotel can act like some cheap 3-star hotel somewhere in Dhaka or Makassar

Hotel Kamp is a beautiful hotel in downtown Helsinki, walking distance from many tourist attractions. We had a group dinner on their amazing mirror room. Service overall was, of course, the best!

Lot of atmosphere and charm - old world feeling including large grandfather like clocks . Helpful reception , good staff all around , very pleasant rooms , good bathrooms, good location . Breakfast was fine. Would have stayed longer , had time permitted . Not cheap though
Nidhi D — Google review
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, central location. I had great intimate and mind blowing times with my lessee. Will be back for sure!
Jennifer N — Google review
The Hotel Kamp is in the best possible location located in Helsinki, within walking distance of terrific restaurants, shopping and major attractions. The service is OUTSTANDING, the front desk personnel, bellmen, restaurant and spa staff, all make you feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality. Yes, the hotel is undergoing renovation, but the disturbance is at a minimum. Breakfast is fantastic, with a buffet full of delicious selections as well as an a la carte menu that is included. The spa is also undergoing renovations, but my 90 minute massage and facial were exceptional, and affordable, even in the temporary location where treatments are offered. I was here in October last year looking at the hotel for a conference, and returned with my group in May. The attendees loved the hotel; it's hard to please everyone but the Hotel Kamp received nothing but praise from all of our guests. The Mirror Room was where your closing dinner was held, and everything about that evening was simply exceptional. Jaws dropped as the guests entered this magnificent space, and the food and service that followed exceeded expectations. I cannot wait to visit Helsinki again for a personal trip, and will definitely stay at the Hotel Kamp. Thank you everyone for such terrific service and attention to detail during my stay.

Nestled in the vibrant Lantinen Suurpiiri district, Valo Hotel offers a unique blend of urban sophistication and cozy ski chalet vibes. This contemporary haven features a delightful bistro serving hearty Nordic cuisine, alongside an inviting bar/lounge perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Guests can indulge in wellness amenities that include an indoor pool, various saunas, and relaxation pools with stunning panoramic views from the rooftop area.
TLDR: A surprisingly good hotel. Plus for spa, gym and modern standard, minus for remote location and smaller room size. LONG VERSION: The rooms are not the largest, but still suffient size, and are very modern. Possibility for contactless check in and check out. Spa is very affordable when booking together with a room, and easily accessible at 7th floor. There's a large jaccuzzi, shallow warm swimming pool, cold dip, 2x sauna + separate wardrobe sauna, steam sauna and a bar, open on friday and saturday. Breakfast is okay, not the largest buffet in terms of selection, but the quality in terms of ingredients is high. Restaurant is actually better than expected, which is a good thing given the hotels rather isolated location compared to city hotels. There is frequent public transport just outside the hotel, however. It's a "work away" hotel, often much more busy during weekends.
Vidar M — Google review
Overall a pleasant experience - the hotel breakfast was definitely the star of the show! The room was small even after we paid for an upgrade to a bigger room, so I’d definitely would recommend it for a shorter stay. The bathroom was also tiny. The bed however - big and very comfy! Be aware that the window in the room go out to the hotel courtyard, not outside, and do not open! Some people don’t mind, but for us it was a disadvantage. Cleaning was provided. The staff was very helpful. There’s an underground parking but we had no issue parking by the street at any moment. The breakfast was plentiful, good quality, fresh and offered a lot of options of breads, toppings, sides etc. There was oatmeal, pancakes, sausages, eggs, meats, vegetables, fish… worth mentioning - delicious blueberry juice and Karelian pastry with egg butter. The hotel offers gym, sauna, workplaces etc. but we didn’t try them. The location was comfy as a base to explore Helsinki and Finland with a car. Otherwise it didn’t have much to offer in the immediate surroundings. Overall - a pleasant stay in a new, well equipped hotel with an excellent breakfast. Good choice especially for a short stay.

Love the design of the room! The atmosphere is warm and cosy and the lights are adjustable. The bathroom might be a bit small, though it has everything you need. The self checkin is easy to use. There is a wellness centre on the top floor of the hotel which you need to pay to use if that’s not included in your booking. I added it as the extra during my stay but have mixed feelings on it. There are two sauna in the outdoor area but one is broken, leaving the other one really crowded. Otherwise, the sauna is great. The temperature in the only sauna can’t go up due to people constantly going in and out. The wooden door has no ‘window’ on which people have to open the door to check whether there is space. There is also a sauna in the women dressing room. That one got a more stable temperature because fewer people going in and out. But if you want to do the loyly, you have to leave the sauna because there is no tap in the sauna. Getting the water isn’t that easy because the shower area is pretty much always fully occupied.
Kimberly — Google review
Modern hotel in simple, nordic design. I do like some of the gimmicks it has in the theme of combining hotel and work, like the real office chairs in combination with the fold up bed that turns into a desk. But somehow the hotel lacks a home-y feel, everything feels fairly cold. Gym is small but very well equipped and spa area is a big plus. The spa has great views, outside Jacuzzi with sunset views, plunge pool, 3 saunas, steam sauna and indoor pool, but in a not so luxurious feel. Feels more like a public swimming pool, just fyi. Breakfast is good and has decent vegan options but I hear there used to be more vegan things. Many chain hotels like sokos will have better vegan options than that. Now there is a vegan plate on request that looks like pictured
T M — Google review
This is quite probable the best hotel I’ve stayed in ever. I travel a lot so that’s a big deal. The design, the dual purpose bed and desk area in the room, and the most amazing breakfast. Apparently the spa and sauna is great but it wasn’t included and it’s not really my scene so you’ll have to ask someone else about that!

We stayed for a few days and loved the hotel. It would be great for a business break or conference too. The breakfast buffet was amazing, I need the recipe for their eggs! The spa on the roof was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day too. We only ate dinner there once and that was delicious. There are plenty of buses and trams going into the city centre, we ended up getting a cab from the airport, not the cheapest but the easiest/quickest option.

My kids loved the atmosphere but there are many hidden fees. E.g. parking, the spa, etc etc which are not explicitly displayed. Staff was very helpful. Cleanliness was good and atrium nice.

Stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience, The hotel was very welcoming, The staff were helpful and polite, the use of the wellness area was an incredible feature, we used it twice and loved every second of it, the morning buffet breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. The bar were amazing and accommodating as they even made us a drink that wasnt on the menu, We have already talked about coming back here one day, Thank you so much for making our honeymoon memorable

The Hotel Maria is a luxurious resort located in the heart of Helsinki, offering a central location for exploring the city. The Edwardian-style hotel features a full-service spa where guests can enjoy various treatments and massages. With 117 rooms, including suites, two restaurants, and a grand ballroom, this urban sanctuary provides an upscale experience. Guests can also take advantage of amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi access and concierge services.
The Hotel Maria is stunning property in the heart of Helsinki. Every corner of the hotel is so modern yet classy. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the bed was incredibly comfortable…! The things I thought were bizarre is that you pay like 400 euros a night for a hotel room yet still you have to pay an extra 45 euros per person to use the spa… you would think with that kind of price tag already it would include spa access similar to many other 5 star properties around the world (for example the four seasons). Also when I called the reception asking them about the breakfast timings they told me 7-11… when I arrived at 10:10 at the breakfast hall the woman there just told me breakfast is closed and isn’t accepting more people.. so the reception conveyed the wrong message to me and made me have to skip my breakfast. Other than those 2 things I loved my experience at the hotel Maria.

Bar Maria is the hotel bar for the Hotel Maria. Not necessary to be an Einstein! What a gem! In what appears to be a gem of a hotel, too. Very expensive, but both they, and them, are worth it. As of course are we all. Hotel Maria itself is a very swankly off-centered Helsinki Hotel. We went there for the cocktail bar on a Thursday evening in early September - not quite deserted but certainly quiet at 7.30pm. A quality feel to the place, and the knowledgeable, attentive, staff. My wife had a French 75, and I had a superb Old Fashioned. Olives, crisps and nuts all provided, naturally. Very expensive indeed, but alcohol in Finland's capital Helsinki is the most expensive in Europe. I thiink this is a classy joint, with a nice line in home-produced cocktail ingredients. A 'lite' version of say Claridges in London. If you can afford £30-40 per cocktail, definitely worth it. Few people there when we visited.

Beautiful property, with excellent service. High end restaurant, luxury spa and gym. Breakfast service and food presentation is above standards. Dinner menu represents fine dining with only few, yet excellent options. Side note, even for diamond members the entrance to sauna is additionally paid.

Went to the bar at Waldorf in Helsinki and the service was really disappointing. Our waitress,an lady served me , No smile, no basic friendliness. For a place that’s 5 star hotel supposed to be upscale, the attitude was way off. Not going back.not recommended

Probably the finest hotel in Finland, and possibly the only Spa in Helsinki with decent facilities. We stayed one night in a deluxe room, filled with fine details from the bvlgari soaps and music to the espresso machine and a bed which feels like you are sleeping in a cloud. Everything was spotless clean. The breakfast buffet was really nice, and you could taste that everything in the buffet is of good quality. The spa is decent, featuring two saunas (steam and finnish), a cold water pool, a jacuzzi, a regular warm water pool, and a relaxation area. There is not much competition in spas inside Helsinki, and Maria spa is probably currently the only decent one (in terms of Sauna and pool facilities). However, what would make it stand out would be to add something special to the regular warm water pool, such as making it a mineral pool (or even something fancier) and increasing the temperature a few degrees. Also, the 1.5h time limit is too short and gives you a sense of hurry - something you want to avoid in a spa. Increasing it to 2h would already make a notable difference. The spa staff was very nice though (as the other staff too). The gym is good for a hotel gym, but don't expect to be able to do any powerlifting or weightlifting there. The sonic care bed and such are a nice addition. We could not fit in the cloud boots though (not even close). I did not visit the restaurant nor the bar (other than for the breakfast), but the cocktail list seemed quite intriguing. The (real) flowers everywhere are a very cool detail. We were able to navigate inside the hotel reasonably well, but there could be a few signs more, some of them being easy to miss, as they were located only around the corner so that it is easy to walk passed them and get "lost". Overall, very nice experience, but I do think Maria still needs to find the correct price point to create sufficient demand. I also think that when you already pay premium for the room, the spa should not be that expensive for the hotel guests.
Savi V — Google review
I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Helsinki. The staff were exceptional and the room was amazing with far superior technology compared to most other hotels. The spa was also excellent which does require advance booking. Will definitely be staying here for future travels in Helsinki!

Very rude bartender at the Peacock bar! We were having a drink before our dinner at the bar, took some pictures with my phone and the bartender impolitely told us that we can’t take pictures because the other customers might not like it, even though the place was empty. After that , we were gonna have dinner in the restaurant, but decided to switch to another place. It’s now a new name for this hotel and I think they should train their staff better or else customers are gonna end up taking their business elsewhere like we did!

Klaus K Hotel is a chic and luxurious accommodation in Helsinki, known for its excellent location and imaginative design inspired by Finnish Kalevala mythology. The hotel offers plush rooms and suites, with the Sky Lofts standing out for their high-quality mattresses. Guests can also enjoy the unique egg-shaped bed in the Sky Suites. This designer hotel opened in 2005, introducing the boutique hotel concept to Helsinki.
Great hotel in an excellent location. We had the mini room which has a smaller bed (probably 75% the width of the normal double bed), but the website is transparent about that and for the money it's excellent. Very clean, lovely reception staff, good breakfast and just a great hotel all round.
Y K — Google review
I arrived at 6 AM and the lady at the desk was very nice. She offered me coffee (since I couldn't check in for another 9 hours or so) and we talked about what to do in Helsinki for about an hour. She took out a map and showed me how to get around, etc. They had a place I could hangout and even took a small nap until my room was ready. For the cost, the room was fine, a little small, but again for the cost it was fine (I was traveling alone, for two people probably too small). The breakfast was good with good selections of food to pick from. Everything was walkable or you were right next to a tram stop. The staff were able to explain how the tram works and had a ticket I could buy at the desk which was very convenient. I feel like I got more than what I paid for, not by much, but it was prefect for what I needed.
Brandt V — Google review
The rooms are a bit old fashioned already but personally I like it. They have their own character compared to many popular business hotels. But this is really matter of taste. The court yard side rooms are very quiet, which is a requirement for me, but don't expect any view. The breakfast is very good in central European standards but quite average in Finland or Sweden. Service was very good and friendly.

Great hotel in the centre of Helsinki. Warm reception on arrival. Comfortable room with great toiletries and shower. Good, varied breakfast. Excellent rooftop bar. Sampled it on the last day of the season. Roope makes exellent cocktails.

I had a fantastic stay at KlausK in Helsinki. I was lucky to get a room facing the courtyard. It was really quiet and clean, and now I'm emotionally attached to their pillows and bed. The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of local options. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Klaus K for both business and leisure travelers. The location is great, right in the heart of the city, close to all the shops. Stockmann is just a 5-minute walk away, there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, and a tram stop just steps from the entrance. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Helsinki!
Viktoriya S — Google review
Stayed here for my friends wedding. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the food was delicious (had the included breakfast), and the room was perfect (stayed in the mini room). Located right near the main streets of Helsinki, it was convenient to get to and from everywhere I needed to by walking or tram. Will def8nitwly visit again when I find myself in helsinki!
Janelle C — Google review
First time in Helsinki and we chose Klausk Hotel for its central location. Turned out that regular trams stopped outside the hotel, taking you in a number of directions. We were allocated a fairly large room overlooking the main street, but excellent window insulation made it soundproof. A few niggles with room especially shower overflowing all bathroom floor, requiring mopping with dirty towels. The big plus was the breakfast, a bit unusual with local influence, however plenty of tasty options. And a big plus is breakfast runs till 11am. Service is very friendly and helpful. It may be of interest to some that regular entertainment is put on in a staged area. This hotel is LGBTQ friendly. Integral Italian restaurant serves excellent food.

Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa is a contemporary hotel located in the plush and leafy western Munkkiniemi neighborhood of Helsinki. It's a popular choice for statesmen, celebrities, and honeymooning couples, offering a resort-like experience in the city. The hotel features spacious and airy rooms with clear pine and birchwood paneling, some equipped with baths and terraces.
Nice hotel. You can tell in some places that it is a bit older, but it was very well maintained and cared for. The absolute plus points are: the location. Just a few minutes by tram from the city centre, you are in a very privileged, quiet location right by the sea. The staff. Always friendly and helpful, never stressed, every member of staff does everything to make you feel at home. The small pool with sauna and sea access. Wonderful after days in the city to relax a little in the evening and round off the day.
Bianca Ö — Google review
The location is great for exploring the nature outside the city by bike, and it’s only a 20-minute tram ride or a €15–20 Uber into Helsinki city center. The sea view room was worth the upgrade. However the air conditioning in the room was not very strong, and I had to go to reception to request a key to open the window. When I did, it was difficult to open and covered in spider webs.
Tom H — Google review
Spent a few days here due to attending a conference in the city. Absolutely loved the place - now part of the Hilton chain but with real underlying character. My room was reasonably large and very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with the bathroom becoming waterlogged after showering. Comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Comfortable easy chair and desk chair. No complaints on that count. The hotel is pleasantly situated and benefits from a seaside setting with great sunsets. A tram stop 100m away makes it quick and simple to get to central Helsinki, while there are often minicabs for hire in the central parking area. The most memorable parts of the hotel for me are the exterior and the common areas. There. the 60s and 70s elements of the architecture and design really shine through. As others have said, some parts of this hotel do show their age a little, but for me that absolutely adds to its character. The design-forward approach extends to the restaurant. I ate here a few times and all of the dishes I tried were excellent and not especially pricey by Helsinki standards. A pleasant spot for dinner as a solo traveller. Finally, a word about the staff, who were without exception friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. Not sure if /when I'll be back in Helsinki, but I'd be delighted to stay here again.
Paul A — Google review
Fantastic location. Restaurants offer high quality food. Big rooms with balconies that overlook the water. The Air-conditioning doesn't do anything... So, you have to keep the balcony door open.
Prashant S — Google review
We spent seven nights here and had a genuinely lovely time. Let’s start with the rooms: clean, no doubt – but also showing their age. If I had to guess, the last renovation probably happened when flip phones were still a thing. The only real letdown was the bathroom situation: every shower turns into a mini flood. There’s no basin, no slope, no separation – the water just runs freestyle across the tiles toward a distant drain. Not ideal, and definitely not intentional design. Breakfast? Solid. Great selection, good quality ingredients, and pretty much everything you’d want to start the day right. But the real gem of the stay was the à la carte restaurant. We grabbed dinner here more than once and were impressed every single time. Flavorful dishes, creative compositions, and not once did it feel like they were phoning it in. Bonus points for a price point that’s totally fair – even refreshing, considering how some hotels love to inflate. The service overall was friendly and consistent. But major shoutout to the reception staff – full-on hospitality mode, warm, professional, and full of personality. Location-wise, this place is a quiet slice of lakeside calm, with quick access to Helsinki’s center via tram or rental bike. Would we come back? Absolutely. There’s charm here, and even if the bathrooms need a serious rethink, the vibe and overall experience easily make up for it.

Such a serene experience. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful and greenery neighbourhood. It has a big park close to it where you could take long quiet walks!
Adetunji T — Google review
Hotel was overbooked so I didn't get a proper room. No warning was given in advance so I could plan an alternative. I even called the day before to make sure I could check in late. I was only let know about this when I arrived at the hotel at midnight and it was way too late to do anything about it. I was given a spare bed in one of the saunas. But the room had no sound insulation and poor curtains so couldn't sleep properly. Very bad experience despite being refunded the full fare.

Lapland Hotels Bulevardi is a high-end hotel located in the heart of Helsinki, offering chic rooms and suites with stylish minimalist interiors. Many of the rooms feature private saunas, providing a luxurious way to unwind with specially tailored in-room spa packages. The hotel's intimate space also includes deep-soak tubs and large windows offering views over Helsinki's skyline.
Lovely location in the design district, walkable to so many places. Very comfortable rooms featuring a large shower, soak tuband sauna. The bed was very restful too. The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant also serves a wonderful dinner. Everything about this hotel was great.
Cynthia T — Google review
Lapland Hotels Bulevardi was the absolute highlight of my trip to Helsinki. The interior design is stunning – decorated in elegant Scandinavian style that feels both cozy and tasteful. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautiful from the moment I walked in. And the cherry on top? A private Finnish sauna right in the room! It was simply perfect – the ultimate way to relax. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I honestly never wanted to get up in the morning. 😀 The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness center, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was rich and delicious – I never thought I’d say this, but I had the best semolina porridge of my life here! The staff were kind, professional, and very welcoming, which added to the overall great atmosphere. The location is ideal – just a short walk from the city center, with easy access to sights, restaurants, cafés, and shops. If I ever come back to Helsinki, I will definitely book this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and a touch of authentic Finland all under one roof.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but overall, my experience in this hotel was great. One gets a real feeling of the coziness of Lapland. The breakfast variety was great, very healthy and high quality options. Extremely clean facilities, up to a 5 star hotel standard. The staff was adorable. Would definitely book again.
Carolina Z — Google review
Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. This time not all perfect. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. The sauna taking 40 minutes to heat feels a bit too much. Clean room, nice bed – if you like a very hard bed – with two different sizes of pillows. Excellent sound proofing in rooms. Details well-thought out in the room, e.g. ability to adjust lightning from one switch with 4 different settings or hearing tv in the bathroom. Totally overpriced water and soft-drinks at 6,5 eur / bottle and the bathrobes not soft and comfortable at all, but perhaps tailormade to suit the Lapland theme. Authentic reindeer fur everywhere, not for people with allergies. Dogs allowed widely in the hotel which may be positive to some and not to others. Parking places for e-cars – good. Perfect location. But even with all the positives, this luxory category room was just a room and the breakfast was just a breakfast. Big variety of glutein free products in the breakfast, but then again waiting for an omelette for 20 minutes is way too long time. No hot chocolate which I personally found irritating and some social media gurus were allowed to film during the busiest time of the breakfast, obstructing the flow in the small breakfast area. Sunday brunch until 2 pm, again very positive and the lingonberry porrage was well-made. So yes, very good ideas and execution, but was suprised to see that there is some variation in the service quality and execution depending on the city.

If you want to get emotions and atmosphere - this is the best hotel for this. Every detail is calculated to the smallest detail. The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Helsinki is a charming 5-star hotel located in the city's shopping district. It offers allergy-free rooms, a sauna, and a fitness center for guests to enjoy. The hotel features a historic design with modern touches and is housed in a building constructed in 1917. The comfortable rooms are furnished with quality beds and Finnish design furniture. Guests can dine at the on-site restaurant, which serves modern Nordic cuisine and offers an impressive cocktail list.
This is a really nice hotel especially for the price. Very nice service, clean big rooms with air conditioning. The hotel is located a block from the central train station making it very convenient. Easy walk to many sightseeing things. You can also walk two blocks and take the #2 Tram and see much of the city.

Good room size, clean rooms , clean bathrooms. Good breakfast with many vegetarian options. Excellent restaurant staff however one feels reluctant to approach front desk. Drinking water , coffee provided at reception can be improved. Biggest problem we faced was the room temperature control. We used to get up in the middle of night sweating and there was no way to improve confort as the windows were sealed and AC was not working.

Very good location less than 5 minutes from the main Railway station. But it can be busy, and there were druggies and vagabonds around at times. But this is in many big cities. Hotel is fine but not exceptional. Rooms clean and functional but lack special touches. No milk provided in minibar. The breakfast was again fine but the beans to cup coffee was so-so. There was no knackerbrod. The shower was over the bath and rather flimsy. Overall it was functional, clean, and not wildly expensive. You get what you pay for.

The hotel's proximity right next to the Helsingin päärautatieasema Railway Station. The service from the reception staff was outstanding; they were very helpful and provided excellent service. However, there was a significant issue with inconsistent housekeeping, as the room was not cleaned despite the "clean up" sign being displayed, requiring a follow-up call to the front desk. We would highly recommend this hotel for its amazing location, beautiful rooms, and outstanding front desk service. If the consistency of the housekeeping can be addressed, it would easily be a great experience.
Keerati A — Google review
NOT a 4 star hotel and I can only conclude that the current 4.3-star rating must be faked. Truly it's worse than a random motel in rural Ohio. A particularly stark contrast after a wonderful Radisson Blu Waterfront in Stockholm. Stale air even with the fan running, dirty, mildew in the bathroom, etc. We couldn't sleep and now both of us are coughing and have runny noses — this place is making us sick. Whoever cleaned this room ... simply didn't. Normally I'd have left right away, but we arrived at 2 o'clock at night and didn't have any other options. I will try to cancel the remainder of the reservation and move to another hotel. Will update this review to let you know whether they let me cancel. Update: No dice. Nikita at the front desk did his best to be helpful but couldn't refund the remaining night, and while it's certainly not his fault the entire building is a Soviet ruin, all he could do was give us another room which is identical to the first but with less hair and has a window that opens. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work, though. And the toilet is cracked. And other such things. This review and pictures are of rooms 413 (original) and 531 (replacement) on August 7 2025. Avoid at all costs!!!

Very good location near the central train station and within walking distance to the city centre, shops , cafes. Generally safe area. Room is modern. 1 down side- the bath tub does not have curtain . Only a small panel of plastic . Which is enough in preventing water from splashing out. Price can be on the high side. Book early .

Solo Sokos Hotel Torni is a trendy and iconic hotel located in the heart of Helsinki. Originally opened in 1931 as Finland's tallest building, it underwent extensive renovations in 2021. The hotel's design reflects the fanciful touches of Helsinki's Jugendstil period, with an art deco-style section added in 1928. The building has a colorful history, including its use as an air raid watchtower during World War II.
Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city walking distance to the main station and trams to take you elsewhere. Close to everything you need as well as tons of nice restaurants and cafes. Rooms are sleek and elegant as expected and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The barley porridge with the homemade blueberry and cardamom jam is divine.

Good hotel, depending on where your rooms are, you might need to get your luggage up some stairs. The adjunct Murphy’s cafe has some activities you might enjoy. Life music. As there is a strict time when the music stops, hardly any issue about disturbances.

I’ve taken a star off because the room doesn’t have proper blackout shades!! This is of course a must right now (June) when sunset is at 11 pm and sunrise is at 4 am. I was shocked. Apart from that oversight, the location is excellent, the staff is helpful, the gym is decent, the breakfast buffet is good, and the rooms are fine for the price.

The rooms are really small and the bed is not so comfy and it looks like. You cannot control the temperature of the bedroom, it does not work. The room clean service is a real basic room clean service. They do not even remove the garbage. There is no SPA, it’s fake. It is announced as 5-star hotel with spa but there is only a spa that works 4 hours a day from Thursday to Sunday. So there is no sauna! There is no sauna in a 5-star Finnish hotel! The breakfast is always the same. There are no fruits or the fruits are always presented in a way that it is difficult to eat (such as a pineapple with peel). The reception is not really 24h. The main entrance remains locked from some period so you may be locked out there if you decide to come back later. There aren’t theree restaurants. There is only one. The other two a two bars that do not serve food and are pretty the same. IT’S NOT A 5-star hotel. DEFINITELY.

We visited for the Rooftop Cocktail Bar. It's great- nice views of the city, but very busy (and not well organised). The beers and wines were very expensive, making cocktails the best value in my opinion, but does mean the small var can be slow. If i was staying at the hotel I would probably wish that they had a more organised seating system. The barman forgot our drinks, but when he realised he gave me some free crisps which was nice!

Perfect location: a 600-meter walk from the train station and very close to most city center attractions. The reception, the bar, and the rooms are all furnished with taste and care, creating an incredibly warm and relaxing atmosphere. My room was comfortable, modern, quiet, and clean. Urban Cool Meets Cozy Comfort Hobo Hotel Helsinki nails that modern-but-welcoming vibe. The location is fantastic—right in the city center, steps from shops, sights, and the central station—yet the rooms are quiet and relaxing. Interiors are stylish and fun, with clever details and plenty of natural light. Beds are super comfortable, bathrooms spotless, and the common areas have a laid-back, creative energy that makes you want to linger. Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, whether you need local tips or a quick late check-out. Breakfast is fresh and varied, and the rooftop bar has great views for an evening drink. Perfect for both city explorers and business travelers who like a bit of personality in their stay. Highly recommended!

Can't complain about anything. The Hobo Hotel is in the perfect place in Helsinki, it's a 2 minute walk from the harbour and there are restraunts and shops within a 5 minute walk. There is also a tram stop nearby and a park on the doorstep. The rooms are fabulous and very spacious enough room for 5 people to stay comfortably with lots of room. The is a lot of entertainment with board games table tennis and a 24/7 open gym. You also get tickets to the outdoor swimming pool and sauna by the harbour. Another bonus is all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. All round the perfect hotel for our trip!

I had a pleasant stay at the Hobo Hotel. My room was small, as expected, but it still had everything I needed and had some nice flare while being very clean. The breakfast here was tremendous and open later than most hotels I stay at. I enjoyed drinks and snacks at the bar as well - the avocado toast was dynamite. The best aspect of the hotel however is the location - close to everything including food, shops, site-seeing, and the train station.

The front desk staff were very friendly and quickly helped me resolve an issue when I accidentally booked the wrong check-in date. The hotel is centrally located, close to shopping malls and restaurants. The shower has great water pressure, and the room is spacious with a stylish design. I’d be happy to recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for four nights. The room was beautiful and very quiet. The staff were kind and always helpful — we truly felt welcome. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We’ll definitely come back again!

I like hotels with their own style. And Hobo is its own thing. Comfy, with a rough beauty, more rebellious than posh. A design to stipulate your own creativity. Plus: the location is as central as it can get, restaurants and sightseeing just a minute away. The bed is comfy, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast is tasty, even for vegetarians.

Hilton Helsinki Strand is a stylish hotel located on the waterfront of Helsinki, offering contemporary and deluxe guest rooms with beautiful bay views. The hotel features tastefully furnished rooftop saunas, a fitness center, and an indoor pool for guests to enjoy. The central lobby boasts granite and Finnish marble accents, with the BRO Pizzarante Italian-themed restaurant adding to the elegant atmosphere. Guests can indulge in international cuisine at Restaurant Bro while taking in panoramic waterfront vistas.
Nice hotel in the city centre, just a few kilometres from the zoo. Everything was really good, including the service and facilities such as the sauna and small pool, which guests can use without limits. The executive lounge was also an amazing experience. At breakfast, the porridge was excellent. However, the grilled vegetables contained a lot of chili, and unfortunately this was not marked anywhere on the info board. The reception staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful.

Very dated hotel along the riverside area but surrounded by construction so it really impacts the view. The rooms were clean and spacious but the swimming pool is much smaller and shallower than pictured. We didn't avail of the sauna so can't comment on that. Breakfast was food - variety of hash browns, pastries, eggs, bratwurst, porridge etc. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again as I feel there are better hotels in Helsinki for a similar price point which would definitely be situated better and more modern than this Hilton branch

Worst check-in experience ever Before my arrival, I was already in contact with the hotel via chat, as the airline had lost my luggage. Communication there was very friendly and helpful. I also noticed that King rooms in the same category as my booking had become available. It was then agreed that both of my Twin rooms would be changed to King, and that for any possible Diamond upgrade, a King room would also be selected. However, the check-in at the hotel with J. turned out to be by far the worst experience: We were three people with two rooms (one Hilton Diamond, one Hilton Gold). Both status levels are entitled to an upgrade. Even though J. confirmed that plenty of better rooms were available, the upgrades were refused. The reasons given (“a VIP gift already in the room” or “because the guest pre-selected a room, upgrades are excluded”) are not only illogical but also directly contradict the prior agreement. On top of that, the hotel itself looks dated and worn down – neither the facilities nor the service meet the standard one would expect from a Hilton property. This level of service is absolutely disappointing. It really raises the question why this hotel is part of the Hilton group at all if it doesn’t want to follow the rules – and why Hilton even promotes the Hilton Honors program if the benefits are simply not honored. One star on top for the “VIP-present” (a sparkling wine, which was nice).

Three-night stay was excellent. Used the Hilton Honors app to for pre-checkin and selecting my room. Nice feature. Actual checkin process was straightforward. Customer service was throughout my stay was excellent. My standard King room was cozy. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom was functional and enjoyed having a bathtub. Room is showing normal wear and tear, but nothing too egregious. Cost was budget friendly when compared to other hotels. Location was okay. Close proximity to public transport options, so getting around the city wasn't terrible. Breakfast was delicious and nice spread.

We booked a sea view room. The room were allocated did not have a sea view. At best it could be described as a partial sea view. There are rooms with a decent view of the Baltic, but there are also rooms which they charge just as much for which do not have a decent view. This is very misleading. I would expect more honesty.

The Hilton Helsinki Strand was the highlight of our vacation. The room was spacious and the entire staff went out of their way to help us with all of our requests. The swimming pool did not feel heated to me but I was only there for a few minutes. Breakfast was good but kind of limited in options compared to other hotels. The front desk staff which was comprised of young people helped us with our lack of knowledge of the area and made excellent recommendations for local food and taxis. I would highly recommend this location because it felt like luxury without the high price.

Overall really awful and disappointing experience at Hilton Helsinki Strand. Unfortunately doesn't match the standard of other Hilton's and needs lots of improvement. On arrival, we checked in at around 4pm and due to my gold status, had been upgraded. We asked for a room with a view of the sea (main reason for staying) and we're provided one by T who was kind and helpful. However, it went downhill from here. Once we got to the room (644) the room was 23.5 degrees. We tried using the AC to cool the room but this was dated and unfortunately broken. Reception were contacted about this via the app, and they responded to say it takes a while to cool down and that they would check the master settings. We went out and returned to the hotel 3 hours later and the room was still 23.5 degrees celcius. We contacted them again, and we're told we could open the window (which we did - this opened fully and for a room on the 6th floor, is a safety hazard!). We declined the fan as we were already dealing with other issues with the room. Unfortunately, as other reviews have pointed out the bed is like rock. The springs dug into us and it was not Hilton regular standard or quality. We contacted the reception, and asked for a mattress topper or another duvet. We were informed they would bring a spare duvet up. I had explained that I live with chronic pain and disability and when A arrived to the room with the duvet, she did jot apologise and said that she prefers a hard mattress for her back. We made up the bed with additional duvet for padding. Unfortunately this did not make a difference. We repeated the process of requesting another duvet twice more. At which point we were told 'if we were used to very soft beds at home, this would feel different'. This felt really condescending and dissaapointing. Having stayed In Hilton's around the world for more than 50 nights this year, I never usually have an issue. Eventually, we were brought a mattress protector to put on top of the duvets - this had a blood stain in the middle and was unclean. Throughout this process we explained our disappointment, and we're looking for alternative hotels (had it not been 10pm at this point, we would have moved). The staff did not apologise or seem to care. The room itself is dated and shows wear and tear. The whole hotel needs refurbishment and is not in line with the star rating, brand or other similar priced hotels nearby. Breakfast food options were good. Executive lounge was fine, small and could have benefited from bigger selection and choice, but was okay. Other Hilton exec lounges provide better value. On check out, we spoke again with A, who did not seem at all concerned about our dissaapointing experience. In fact, she did not ask us how our stay was - we had to raise this. She said 'next time we can compensate you'. I explained that unless there was considerable change, that we wouldn't be back. She shrugged and didn't seem to care. She was rude and I felt uncomfortable and dismissed. There was no offer of compensation, refund or points from the hotel - absolutely nothing. I am hoping to hear from the manager regarding this given the issues we raised at chdck out. I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel until changes are made both in staff training, and facilities of the building. Seriously dissaapointing.

Located in the heart of Helsinki, Scandic Hotel Simonkenttä offers bright rooms and suites with wood floors. The hotel features a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and meeting space. It is conveniently located near Kamppi Shopping Centre and attractions like SEA LIFE Helsinki and Ateneum Art Museum. With its beautiful Scandinavian design, the hotel provides contemporary rooms with eco-friendly touches such as private sauna suites.
Very convenient location of the hotel. Nice facility, cozy and neat. As are the rooms, clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and courteous, available to solve every need of the customer. The breakfast offered is very varied, capable of satisfying everyone's taste. A note of credit is to be given to the attention to food waste that is reported on a blackboard every morning, indicating the amount of food taken and not consumed. Truly an important and respectful message toward waste and environmental well-being. We have stayed at this hotel twice. The second time because of a problem we encountered with another hotel, so we turned to the Scandic staff, who promptly managed to find the right solution for us by providing us with a room at the last minute. Really recommended for a pleasant stay in Helsinki.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Helsinki. The location is prime. Easy access to Kamppi mall and station. Close proximity to central station. And a short walk to city center, esplanade, and market square. Breakfast was 7/10 food is very good but there is lesser variety than some hotel breakfast and little to no rotation (same stuff every day). The saunas were very nice only negative remark is that they are only open 6pm-10pm and the are segregated by gender. Would have been nice to go with my wife. Service was great. Also another note for those unfamiliar with this country/region is air conditioning is not common. We asked for a fan and we're quickly provided one. I would stay here again, and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Little to no negative remarks.

Arrived around midnight to find hotel overbooked and our rooms not available due to system issues. However credit to the hotel staff who managed to get us booked into the Helsinki Grand Central for the night, arranged taxis and breakfast and then made sure rooms were available from the following night with no further issues. The hotel is in a great location and even has direct indoors access to the adjacent shopping centre and Kamppi Metro station via the lifts. Short walk to the main train station and frequent trams nearby.

Great, friendly service at reception and my bags were securely stored until check in time. Room was comfortable and clean. I had a 3 night stay. Good location. It’s a fairly easy walk from the station - but it’s up a slight incline and it can be a little tiring dragging a suitcase over cobblestones and pavers on the way. It’s next to a big shopping centre with plenty of places to grab food or groceries - great build your own salad (also sushi) in the well stocked supermarket. Plus a bus station there too. Great breakfasts in the hotel - lots of variety of hot and cold food - can try familiar and less familiar breakfast dishes! I’m looking to book here again next time I’m in Helsinki.

I loved my stay here, especially breakfast. It's right next to a big shopping centre and easy walk to Helsinki train station. Also taxis available right outside.

In general, the staff were very professional. 3 stars because of the 55 minute checking. The staff could have sped the speed of check in up by asking the large group of Asian tourists to fill in the available forms ahead of time. It took at least 10 mins for each guest.

I have stayed in many scandic brands before and this was is pretty low. Room is clean but the hallways are pretty dirty with stained carpet. I was not expecting anything great of course because of the price but I think in this price range you can definitely do better than a can of nuts sitting on the desk and calling it a “mini bar”. Housekeeping did not really tidy up either. Comforter is folded but pillows are even stacked back into place. Left dirty dishes in our room.

Good location and breakfast. Had a room at the third floor. Very hot room, no AC?? When turning of lightning for the night, the card for the electricity had to be taken out of the holder and inserted again if u wanted to turn the light back on. The minibar was not working aswell, it had room temperature. When we came back at the evening the corridor lights didn't work. You can do better!

Located on the eighth floor of Helsinki's airport, Clarion Hotel Helsinki offers a luxurious and convenient stay for business travelers. The hotel features stylish guestrooms designed by Jaakko Puro, offering modern amenities like ambient lighting control and spacious walk-in showers. Guests can also enjoy a sauna to relax after their travels. With its top-floor Skyroom bar and swimming pool, the hotel provides stunning panoramic views of the city and harbor, especially at sunset.
I live in Helsinki, so I didn’t stay at the Clarion Hotel, but I often visit the SkyBar on the 16th floor. It offers a stunning panoramic view of the city, along with a great selection of drinks — wine, cocktails, coffee, and more. I love the calm atmosphere here. Definitely a must-visit spot in Helsinki!

Stayed for 1 night on weekend. Got free upgrade of the room from double to superior along with 2 free drinks. Room was still small against the price , but view was good. They have free access to pool and sauna. Breakfast is amazing, that was the best part of entire experience.
Kamlesh B — Google review
As a regular customer of clarion hotels I had high expectations but I ended up disappointed comparing this location to the other ones in Helsinki. The hotel as such is nice, rooms are big but not very cosy. The roof terrace is of course a highlight no doubt but the gym is way too small for such a big hotel. The breakfast for me was nothing special but the breakfast room bothered me a lot it was crowded, loud and the tables were so close that you nearly could not pass in between without disturbing other people. Also the breakfast buffet selection was not up to par with other locations. Finally the location as such is not overwhelming since you still need 30 min on foot to reach the city centre of course using the tram you can do it way faster.
Alain R — Google review
I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki and left with mixed feelings. The rooms are extremely small, fine for one person but really tight for two. Check-in was easy, although the self-check-in didn’t work for me. The room had a kettle with two types of tea and a safe, but otherwise felt pretty basic. The mini-bottle of wine in the room for €18 seemed overpriced. On the 16th floor there’s a bar, sauna, and a small pool, but the pool is only for a quick dip, not for swimming. The sauna was simple, with confusing opening hours, and the gym wasn’t great - some equipment didn’t work properly. Breakfast was a real disappointment. Not only did it end very early at 9:30, but it also lacked variety. For a hotel in this category, I’d expect more choice and more flexible times. Staff were friendly at times, but service varied depending on who you talked to. Waiting for elevators also took forever, which got annoying. The best part is the location: close to a tram stop, about 10 minutes to the central station, easy to reach from the airport, and there’s even a supermarket nearby open until midnight. Walking to many parts of the city is also possible.
Juri R — Google review
The room is functional and very clean, which is really important. However, I would have preferred if they had provided slippers and a bathrobe. The rooms are indeed clean, and that’s the most important aspect. The view was beautiful, overlooking the harbor. As for the breakfast, considering the hotel’s quality, it was a bit disappointing because it felt somewhat chaotic and didn’t highlight the best quality. The selection was a bit repetitive; everything was there and the quality was good, but not enough variety for a hotel of this level. I would have liked a different pastry every now and then, maybe something with chocolate instead of the usual crepes, or even some fresh salmon instead of the standard herring. Overall, it’s a decent hotel that’s worth a moderate price, but I wouldn’t consider it a five-star hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The beds and pillows were so comfortable because of that, I had the best sleep. The bar on the 16th floor provided a great view. Breakfast was good and hearty. It was close to Ferry port. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location with a tram station in front of the hotel. 10-15 minutes by tram from the city center of Helsinki. Modern hotel with rooftop amenities. Breakfast selection could be better. The Skyroom bar is only „self service“ but with amazing views of the city.

Located in the upscale Katajanokka promontory neighborhood, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in a historic customs warehouse. The hotel offers modern facilities, friendly service, and reasonable prices, making it a popular choice for both leisure and business travelers. With dining options, a gym, and a nautical-themed pub on-site, guests can enjoy various amenities during their stay. The hotel's sunny bar terrace is known to be the longest in Helsinki and provides a great spot to unwind.
Room and hotel was great. Staff super helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. This included a gluten free section which I got to benefit from. Very considerate. The only recommendations I would suggest would be phone in the room to call downstairs, coffee/tea kettle in room, and a bigger sauna. Unfortunately the sauna is very small, and we missed out on it due to the wait. Overall great stay! Ideal location

Slightly older hotel, so rooms a little tired particularly the bathrooms. Amazing gluten free area in restaurant for breakfast including lots of choices and designated toaster. Lots of diary free milks, yoghurt and spread too! At dinner (buffet) the manager and chef were extremely helpful. The chef very clued up and cross contamination and got my food direct from the kitchen. Something to note...Scandinavian hotels rarely have kettles in the rooms so if you like to make hot drinks in your room, bring your own!

It's a tale of two millenia for this hotel. The reception and breakfast is right up to date and as modern as any other hotel but the rooms are very old fashioned in decor and stuck in the 1990s.The air conditioning is rather loud and there are currently renovating a large part of the hotel which was not mentioned at any point. The king size room was rather spacious but as I have already said don't expect anything to make it special. A strange thing was a mini bar in the room but there were no prices at all to be found if you wanted to use it. The rooms on the top floor don't have very big windows but it does have a window in the upper part of the wall which has blinds to keep the the room dark. The breakfast was excellent, I can't fault it. Everything was delicious. Location is also excellent,, close to the harbour and a tram stop is a minutes walk away and it's a quiet area. If you don't want luxury but a great breakfast and great location this is the hotel for you.

Terrible experience. The hotel is dirty and run-down, with rooms that feel more like prison cells than places to relax. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The reception staff, especially Anna, were incredibly unfriendly and showed no interest in helping at all. The only positive is the location – it’s great. But everything else was awful. Would not recommend.

Quaint setting with clean austere rooms. Big breakfast buffet. They do have a locked luggage storage so one can enjoy Helsinki without dragging your bags with you.

My friend and I were there for three nights in Sept. 2025. The buffet breakfast was on a par with four star hotels. The hotel is convenient to tram lines from the train station and the ferries. Reception staff were exceptional. Within minutes of asking for help with the room phone, housekeeping staff fixed it. We were given instructions on how to use the trams. Most of all, when I left my jewelry behind by mistake, it was located quickly and I was advised on how to return it to Canada. The staff worked seamlessly with an international courier to ship it back to me. Kudos for reception.

I like the vibe of the building in the common areas, but the room was a tad... not inviting. It was clean and quiet but could be A LOT cosier. No fridge. But we got a very good nights sleep after a day of walking around. Location is great, breakfast was tasty. Hotel staff is friendly. If you're planning just to sleep there then it's a good choice.

The Hotel Arthur was a wonderful place to stay. The receptionists were extremely friendly and professional. We arrived early and our room was ready for us. The room was very spacious, clean and our bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very centrally located and there are lots of restaurants and pubs close by. We had breakfast in the morning and there were loads of great fresh choices. We were very, very pleased with our stay and 10/10 recommend the Hotel Arthur.

We chose Hotel Arthur because of its proximity to the train station, and central city. It was an easy walk from the train station. Check in was pleasant and easy. The staff were very friendly and professional, and spoke English. The hotel is dated, although warm, dry, and comfortable. We had a good night's sleep without disruption. We are staying again and would recommend Hotel Arthur for your stay in Helsinki, for location and cost.

Hotel Arthur has a great location — it’s very close to the central railway station, which is ideal if you’re arriving from the airport by train. It’s only about 300–400 meters away, so you can easily walk there in under 10 minutes. The city center is also within walking distance. The building itself has a bit of a retro feel, it’s clearly an older hotel, but overall we found the value for money absolutely fair. The breakfast was very tasty and had a good variety. The bathroom was very small, and since there was no ventilation in it, the room had a bit of a musty smell — we felt like it would have needed a full day of airing out. That said, the reception staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo is a contemporary hotel located in a leisure center, offering simply decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Situated within a mall, the hotel provides easy access to various amenities such as restaurants, shops, and services. The location is said to be unique, being situated next to the peaks of Koli and in the middle of a National Park. Additionally, guests can enjoy nearby attractions like waterparks for kids and an adult-only spa.
A very nice and comfortable hotel directly located at the Jumbo Mall. Moderate prices, big and very likely rooms and very, very friendly staff. Absolutely recommended place.
Niko L — Google review
Our recent one-night stay at this 4-star hotel was far from what we expected, given the price. While the breakfast and the water park were enjoyable, the rest of the experience was disappointing and definitely not up to 4-star standards. Room: • The room was cold and lacked proper detailed cleaning. Dust was visible in the corners, and the sink in the bathroom had visible germs around the drain. • The beds were uncomfortable, with two separate beds constantly sliding apart, which was extremely annoying. The mattress covers didn’t stay in place, causing further discomfort throughout the night. • The extra bed for our child was unbearably uncomfortable. • The room looked outdated, with stains on the bed frame, adding to the overall sense of neglect. • There were no electrical outlets near the bedside, which made it inconvenient to charge phones or other devices. • The TV was broken and only worked for about five minutes at a time before the screen turned black. This issue persisted, making it practically unusable. Bathroom: • The bathroom had a disgusting smell, and the cleanliness was subpar for a hotel of this caliber. Facilities and Access: • The absence of a coffee machine in the room was surprising, especially considering that Finland is known for its coffee culture. • Accessing the spa was inconvenient. Despite being a spa hotel, there was no direct access from the rooms. We had to go down to the reception area and then take another elevator to reach the spa. • Even with a spa package, we had to wait in long lines for the spa bracelet, which felt poorly managed. Forgetting anything in the room was a hassle, especially when wet from the spa. Check-In: • The check-in time of 4-6 PM was unusual and inconvenient. Overall Impression: While the breakfast and water park were highlights, they did not compensate for the numerous issues. For the price we paid, we expected much higher standards, especially in Helsinki where there are better options available. This hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating and is not worth the cost.

We won't come back. The location was not appreciated by us, the jotel is a bit distant from Espoo. Can be conveniently reached by car, for hotel guests parking is free. The hotel is located in the mall, so you can access all the stores and restaurants, including the water park (separate ticket, not included in the hotel price). But that's it - there's no nice park nearby, nowhere to walk. This is more suitable for visiting in the winter, but even then, it's a bit sad to be trapped indoors all the time. Though the hotel does have some advantages. The check-in is possible to do at the self-service point, even register a car. Hotel offers tidy good-sized rooms and quite good breakfast, with lots of fruits, vegetables, gluten-free options, etc. It was quiet in the room, no noises, good temperature, and big TV (though there was some problem with connecting HDMI cable). But we'd prefer to stay in the hotel with the nice surroundings next time.
Olha K — Google review
The only issue with service was the awful check in procedure. Arrived tired, no indication I had to take a ticket to check in, waited for 10 mins then finally was told by another guest I had to take a ticket. Took over 30 mins to be served and then only 1 minute to check me in 🤷🏼 honestly this system needs changing. Somebody should give guests entering a number and an indication of wait time. To balance this, the room on the top floor was lovely, the breakfast was very good, with gluten free options and there was facility to leave the bags after check out for a little while. When you come, make sure you get a ticket and bring a flask of coffee or water while you wait.

We could not get our booked room and we were forced in to the lower grade room. Hotel corridors are dirty, littered (the same as during our previous visit. No improvement) and our replacement room was dated and furniture was dirty. Breakast was with limited choices and you had to go to eat on given time (at BREAK hotel)! Not worth the money. It was a good hotel...long time ago but not anymore. Not recommended.

Convenient location next to airport however rooms are gross. Shower was filled with mold. And the “restaurants” in the mall next door are gross. I’d recommend driving into Helsinki to stay instead.

Scandic Grand Central Helsinki is an upscale hotel with chic rooms and suites, a refined restaurant, sauna, and bar. It's ideal for those with environmental allergies and offers easy access to the airport via public transportation. The central location near the train station makes it perfect for exploring city highlights and taking day trips. The hotel features free bikes, a fitness center, garden, shared lounge, free WiFi, room service, 24-hour front desk, terrace, and sauna.
What a fantastic start to our European trip! We booked this in advance & got a good deal with breakfast included. We wanted something that was easy to access from the train station and this was perfect. We checked in very early (7am) which incurred a fee (understandably). The room we were given had an issue with its air-conditioning, so the lovely receptionist found us a new, much cooler room, and she checked the air-conditioning herself before taking us there. Really exceptional service- I wish I had got her name. The hotel decor is gorgeous, honing back to the art deco era, but in a tasteful way. The rooms are unique with high ceilings, lovely furnishings and wood floorings. But the best thing was the breakfast! Everything you could think of was provided, with dietary needs catered for too. We were able to fill up for the day without the need for a big lunch or dinner. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Helsinki!

I am so glad I booked this hotel. I loved the decor and the style, that it was located next to the train station and still very close to everything in Helsinki, only a 10-15 minute walk to most attractions and landmarks. We arrived an hour and a half before check in but we were allowed to check in early which was much appreciated and allowed us to settle in and get out and enjoy the city. The room itself was very spacious, and had a great view of the immediate area of the city. Very friendly staff and also bartender who took the time to explain each local brew they had on tap in the hotel bar. I would highly recommend staying here if you take a trip to Helsinki, and would definitely stay again if we return to Finland!

Loved this hotel. So central to the station (next door), restaurants, markets, museum, etc. The hotel itself is gorgeous. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious enough even with three large suitcases and a cot. The breakfast had a great variety. Highly recommend.

Great location! Easy to navigate the beautiful Helsinki. It is actually a junction of the Grand Ventral Station. Very well organized hotel with all facilities. Although it is located at the heart of the city, it is very quiet during night. The hotel ambiance is very cozy, excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

My three-night stay at this hotel was exceptional, primarily due to its prime location adjacent to Helsinki Central Railway Station and major tourist attractions. The breakfast and bar offerings were outstanding, and the accommodations were notably comfortable. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained garden situated within the hotel. The staff consistently demonstrated a friendly and courteous demeanor. An added benefit was the presence of a bidet (muslim) shower in the restroom. I unequivocally plan to return to this establishment in the future.

If you have never been to Helsinki as I hadn't then you should consider this as your Hotel of choice. There couldn't have been a better location for us. Thank you for the greatest breakfast that I have ever experienced at a Hotel. Having bikes to use so we could explore the city was a real highlight, riding at 5:30am was so cool! Thanks Scandic, I will stay with you whenever I am in a place that has one of your Hotels!

Very conveniently located beside the Helsinki train station. Hotel compound is large and spacious. Rooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Overall a comfortable stay. Gym was decent too with adequate weights and cardio machines

Great art deco hotel. Very accommodating, we could check in earlier without any problem and check out is at 12. We both work remotely and there were a few spots to sit down and work in the reception, at the restaurant or in the room. Room was to a very high standard, with great decor and had all We needed for a few days. Right next to the train station and in the middle of the city so a great base to explore Helsinki.

Noli Studios Katajanokka is a trendy hotel located in a red brick building from 1940, offering wonderful sea views and a convenient location near downtown Helsinki. The modern studios range from compact spaces to large apartment-like rooms with complete kitchens. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, spa facilities including a hot tub and hammam, and some units even feature terraces with sea views.
Great location near the market, public transit and nearby grocery stores. The amenities were wonderful, we enjoyed the pool table and spa/Sauna. There are several ferries near the market to take you to interesting places like the zoo and Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The main bedroom had no windows making sleeping in the summer much better! The room with bunk beds only had a very small window with dark curtains. Overall a great stay!

I love this hotel. The staff are nice and helpful. The self check-in and check-out system are easy and fast. The room is clean and quiet. The breakfast is very nice as well. The location is near some tram stops and attractions. It is convenient to reach the attractions on foot or by those transportation.

Nice apartments where you can do a short or long term stay. They have all the basic equipment you need. The room was clean and easily big enough for two people. You could also bring a pet as it is pet friendly. The road has some traffic but the windows blocked out everything. You can use work spaces, a kitchen, a TV room, a fitness centre and a sauna on the ground floor. Self check-in was easy enough and you can leave your luggage there if your flight is later than the checkout time. The price is definitely fair for what you get in return. The area is quite nice and stylish. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby and it is a very close walk to the harbour and maybe ten minutes to the Center and all the sights. I enjoyed my stay there and can definitely recommend it.

Had a fabulous stay here. Clean, quiet and all with the essentials in a neat little space. We could cook our own meals in our room and eat and save having to go out for dinner in town every night. The harbour and market and centre of town is just a few minutes walk away. Definitely recommended!

this is only my third day here and I'm already sad that I ever have to leave this place is really a dream come true. I could go on and on and on about all of the amazing things in this place but I'll try to keep it short. The staff are all beyond reproach with their friendliness, knowledge, professionalism. The set up of the place is an absolute dream come true with an eclectic mix of people living here permanently or semi permanently, travellers using the more hostel-dorm style places, and people like myself staying for a week in a private fully furnished apartment. The common spaces are absolutely incredible, the common kitchen seems to be fully stocked with any spice oil or cooking tool you will need, and all the different aspects flow together seamlessly. the spa is fantastic with a private feeling Jacuzzi area which I love. I knew right away that I will be very very sad to leave this place and I'm already planning my next trip here!

One of the best hotels I stayed for a fair price. Super close to the city center (10-15min walk), super friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a dishwasher, full kitchen, washing machine and comfortable bed. Sadly no TV to work on my suomi skills 😉. There's a gym available which we didn't use. Breakfast in another building was ok, not a big variety to choose from. Rooms are a bit pricey but you can definitely await some comfort and modern interior.

The location was great where were supermarket nearby and walkable distance to city center. Price for the stay was affordable with great services we got. They have sauna, gym, common room, and many more. I'll recommend Noli for people who will go to enjoy Helsinki if you are on budget travellers.

Absolutely loved it here, perfect stay and a nice, cozy room for 1 (or 2). I liked that the location wasn't directly in the centre but so easy to get to with the tram or bicycle! I couldn't believe that the place had a gym, sauna and jacuzzi! One of the highlights of my trip!

The Folks Hotel Konepaja is a trendy lifestyle hotel situated in Helsinki's emerging Konepaja district. It offers 146 stylish contemporary rooms, some with kitchenettes, and boasts a fitness center, sauna, and shared kitchen facilities. The property features an excellent restaurant and a noteworthy rooftop bar with panoramic views. Guests can enjoy the modern amenities such as the gym and saunas while appreciating the industrial-chic ambiance of the former industrial buildings surrounding the hotel.
This hotel is chic and very clean. The staff are very friendly, speaks good English and the room size is large. Like the small touches of providing ear plugs even though not really needed with the good soundproofing. Breakfast is ample and nice restaurant. It is located beside the tram stop with easy access to city centre. Highly recommended.

I’ve been living that digital nomad life for a while now—hotel-hopping, suitcase-surfing, you name it. But The Folks Hotel in Helsinki? Total game changer. 🧳✨ From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the kindest, most helpful humans ever (major love to the reception crew and the manager—basically miracle workers in disguise). They handle everything with a smile and a solution. The hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and packed with everything a long-term traveler dreams of: a big shared kitchen, cozy lounge spaces, a great restaurant, rooftop terrace, gym, yoga room, and yes… a spa. 🧘‍♀️🛁 Oh—and let’s not forget the cherry on top: they even had my fave Rituals shampoo and creams in the bathroom. That’s when I knew… this place gets me. 💆‍♀️💖 If you’re heading to Helsinki, do yourself a favor and book The Folks Hotel. You’ll feel right at home (but better). Highly, highly recommend!

Clean modern and new renovated hotel. The location is not in city center, but easy access by tram. My room facing the street, but sound proof is perfect. Little suggestion about curtains, prefer big pieces to cover the light better, in stead of few small pieces.

A truly wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and perfectly soundproof, with luxurious Rituals amenities, a convenient fridge, and TV that connected easily to our own mobile phones. Lobby coffee (4€) was excellent, and the lively Konepaja area with shops, brewery and cinema, plus the proximity to the tram stop and city center, made the location ideal. Highly recommended!

I've stayed in Folks many times. One of the best choices in Helsinki and does not let you down. Rooms are clean and spacious with a minimalistic design. The bed is one of the most important things for me and in Folks, it's a good one. Guarantees a good night of sleep. Service is friendly and you always feel welcome on arrival. Breakfast is very high quality. Location is perfect for visiting Konepaja area and Tripla mall. Easy access to centrum.
Juha K — Google review
Easily one of the best hotels in Helsinki. Konepaja area has it’s unique history and nice amenities, and the hotel feels cozy and welcoming. Breakfast is SUPER good. The restaurant Albina is worth visiting. Hotel also has a communal kitchen for cooking your own meals, and lots of conference rooms for business travelers. Prices are reasonable for a Helsinki hotel. Public transportation takes you to city centre in 15 minutes and if you arrive by train, Pasila train station is closest.

We had a great stay at the Folks hotel. The location is a bit ouside of the centre but in quite a happening area with some nice places to eat and drink. Its not far from a neighbourhood with good street art which we wouldn't have visited otherwise. Has a free laundry room which came in very hand after 10 days of travelling and a communal kitchen which was great for breakfast. Also a gym and sauna. Just opposite there is a lidl and pharmacy.

The Hotel NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa is praised for its excellent location and top-notch services. Guests appreciate the functional and convenient service provided by the great staff. The hotel is described as a wonderful place to stay, with many guests rating it highly. Overall, it's considered an excellent choice for accommodation in Helsinki.
The entire hotel is spotless, even the gym. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is tasty and highly recommended. The room was nice and comfortable, though it was small. The location is great, near many shopping centers, restaurants and bars. The saunas were good. The hotel looks old from the outside but it is very elegant inside. The health center is big and spacious.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!! The staff is SO friendly and helpful, the location couldn’t be better (close to tram stops and the train station, which brings you directly to the airport). The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are so clean and well planned with special touches. We decided to buy the breakfast for 25 euro and we are so happy we did- on Saturday and Sunday it is open until 13:00 and the food is fresh and delicious! We also enjoyed the a la carte menu included in the breakfast and the sparkling wine. Also, we had an early morning flight and there was coffee, juice and pastries downstairs for guests to have. It’s small touches like this that make your stay even more special. All around, this hotel has excellent staff and has truly thought of everything to make the guests stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable! Thank you so much for everything!!!!!
Lauren A — Google review
We stayed at NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa, and from the first step inside you feel a calm blend of heritage and modern comfort. The hotel lives inside two historic Helsinki landmarks, the Art Nouveau New Student House from 1910 with its beautiful details, and the former Seurahuone building whose hotel story in the city goes back to the nineteenth century and moved here in 1913. You sense that history in the grand spaces, the elegant stairs, and the tall windows, and it pairs perfectly with quiet, contemporary design in the rooms. The location is unbeatable. The hotel sits on Mannerheimintie directly opposite the Central Railway Station, so arrivals are easy, and you can walk to everything. Ateneum, Kiasma, the Oodi library, Esplanadi, and the Market Square are all just a short stroll. It is the perfect base for exploring Helsinki, whether you come for culture or for business. Service is warm and attentive, and the small touches make a difference. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast felt like a celebration with complimentary champagne in the morning. The rooms are serene, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom technology, including the remote controlled toilet, brings a smile every time. We did have a small issue on arrival with our first room, but it was solved immediately, and the team even surprised us with a thoughtful little gift as compensation. That quick and kind response showed true five star care, and it set the tone for a memorable stay. If you want history, design, comfort, and great food in the heart of Helsinki, this hotel delivers. We will happily return. The only improvement I would suggest is to also hire more Finnish staff, to bring a bit of local atmosphere. At the moment most of the team comes from Asia, which is of course absolutely fine, my wife is from the Philippines herself, but it would be nice in Finland to also see and speak with Finns.
Jeffrey N — Google review
Yes the hotel itself is really nice but, starting from the service, the waitress couldn’t take an order right, it feels like there’s always just a chef working in the kitchen, the food takes ages to come out, the orders are wrong. Moving to room service, I have been working in a high-end 5 star hotel and I have to say it is quite disappointing when a guest is asked to choose between only two options of breakfast and forced do so through an app and a QR code. It also doesn’t feel luxurious being told that the breakfast you get in bed is the breakfast that comes from the buffet in the restaurant cause that’s the only breakfast the hotel provides and if the chef was asked to make something different you’d still get the same breakfast. Lastly housekeeping should always be changing and replacing towels especially if these have clearly been used throughout the day, turn down service should provide each guest their own bottle of water, slippers and ropes ready to get comfortable and the shower jet should be strong enough to give you the feeling you’re getting a good shower and not a drizzle that barely gets you wet. We also asked for someone to fix the minibar that was super warm and that was never done, the food doesn’t get removed from the room even after housekeeping has been in the room
Gianluca V — Google review
This is probably the best location for a hotel in Helsinki. Very nice and classy interiors, high-tech rooms and toilets, giant TV. Excellent and roomy shower, great room amenities. Staff was very helpful. Arriving with taxi can be a bit tiresome, as there is no space to park and there are constant traffic jams on Mannerheimintie-road. Luxurious place!
Jani N — Google review
The personell is as always more than perfect, helps you with everything you need. The hotel is as you espect spot on! But those small things the staff do for you makes every stay memorable, eventhough I stayed here more than 12 times in a year. Its more than a hotel its sort of a extra home:)
Anders N — Google review
This was pure luxury. And service at its best. In fact the three staff we dealt with all went way beyond expectations and could not have been more helpful and professional in their attitude and attentiveness. The hotel itself is supremely located just across from the train station. And very central The room was everything and more The bathroom and accessories. The room and furnishings. The bed. Faultless. I want to go back so soon. Such an awesome experience

We stayed 2 nights. The location is great, as the hotel sits on Mannerheimintie directly opposite the Central Railway Station, so arrivals are easy, and you can walk to everything. Hotel Marski by Scandic is a modern and stylish hotel located in the heart of Helsinki, Finland. It offers comfortable rooms with ultra-modern interiors and amenities such as allergy-free rooms, a health club, and an indoor swimming pool. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city, with attractions like Senate Square, Stockmann department store, Market Square, and Ateneum Art Museum within walking distance.
Heat hotel, perfectly located towards the harbour and restaurants. Room was clean, spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast is very special there, the area is huge and stylish and the options are huge. Omelette station and ability to make your own fresh juice. Great quality and sets you up for the day!

My stay was very disappointing. The air-conditioning could not be switched off, leaving the room uncomfortably cold—especially problematic given Finland’s already low temperatures. The bathroom design and maintenance were poor: the bathtub has only a half glass screen, the screen and taps leak, and after every shower the floor is soaked, almost as if it had flooded. Housekeeping was inadequate as well; rubbish on the floor was left uncleaned. While the front-desk staff were polite, the property lacks basic amenities (there weren’t even cotton buds). Overall, the combination of temperature-control issues, leaks, and substandard cleaning made the stay frustrating and poor value. I would not recommend this hotel unless these problems are addressed.

Perfect location in central Helsinki. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, answered all our questions and gave recommendations on cafes, etc. What really made our stay special was the free use of bikes provided by the hotel! We explored Seurasaari island and tourist destinations the last morning of our stay. Would highly recommend

I had such a lovely week staying right in the centre of Helsinki. The hotel was perfectly located, just across from Stockmann, and many other shops, ideal for shopping sprees. The room was beautifully done, comfortable, quiet, and really well looked after with daily attendance by the staff. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with plenty of delicious options savoury/sweet. I also spent quite a bit of time in the lounge, it had a great atmosphere and was ideal for getting a bit of work done with a coffee. All in all, it was a wonderful stay! Stylish, comfortable, and in the best possible spot. I’d happily go back.

The hotel is quite good. The location is very centered close to commerces and transport. The rooms are good; I very much liked the heated floor in the bathroom and the shower. However, take into consideration the hotel is very busy and crowded most of the time, specially during breakfast. What I didn’t like is the room service. They just change the towels, and really quickly do the bed and and they’re out. If you pay your room from 100 to 170 € it’s quite a bargain. But if you pay it more than 200, like I did. I’m sure you can find better.
Aladdin C — Google review
The location is quite convenient, being near shopping malls, shops, and the central station. Furthermore, a Hesburger is conveniently located across the street, and a tram line passes by the hotel. A friend, who had a room on the fourth floor facing the front, mentioned some noise at night due to the hotel's prime location and proximity to the street. Double-glazed windows would be a beneficial addition. My room, however, is situated internally, so there is no view and no external noise.
Tony C — Google review
Wrt cold rooms and the air condion improperly working, some remarks and tips: The standard set point is 21 degrees. The central control station overrides the adjustments made individually via the room control panel within minutes back to the 21. This is double unfafourable as the AC then starts cooling down to the 21 if the temperature is meawhile above (eg simply by presence of people in the room). Tip: close curtains to improve insulation in way of the simple style double glazed windows, leave the bath room door open to use floor heating from there into the bed room, and most essential, switch off the fan at the AC room control by pressing the fan symbol until a 0-symbol is shown at the display to avoid active cooling into the bed room. By this we got a room temperature of about 22,5 at moderate outside temperatures. Running the AC this way by the hotel seems quite improper and non-professional.

I’ve been in this hotel for around 30 weeks (it’s a lot, more than half a year) and I will be there for more weeks in the future, so I think I can do a good review of this hotel. I spent so much time here, so it means that overall it’s a good place to stay. Rooms are good, appreciated the heated floor in the bathroom especially in winter season. Employers are good, all of them are kind, from the reception to the food service in the bistro restaurant. Cleaning of the room it really depends: in the same week we can have good and bad service (glass not changed, tables and sink dirty). But it’s not always, sometimes cleaning is great. So it depends by the worker and it’s difficult to do a review. But in general nothing to complain. I would like to give some advice to the manager based on my experience that could improve a lot the hotel. 1) Gym service. That’s a critical point. The hotel is probably the only one in the city that does not have a gym. They have a kind of agreement with fressi closeby but it’s not free: 8€/session. I asked to the people in the gym and they pay around 25€ per month (less than 1€/session). Going through the hotel is not an advantage at all. It’s something that you pay and you pay a lot, really bad on this point. If you have time and you don’t work in the afternoon, you have to go to the city center fressi (no reception in the closer one) and do your own subscription, so the hotel is basically unuseless here. And it’s really uncomfortable to go in the city center only for this. I think that it’s a service that could be done for free at this level of hotels considering how much they can pay the card for their clients and how much a client pay for the room. I hope this will change in the future, it will be a big improvement 2) Cleaning of forks, knives, spoons, mugs. I understand that we use a lot of them in the day but please give them a check after the dishwasher. Half of the time they are still dirty and it’s not a pleasure to eat with dirty stuff. 3) breakfast. It’s good but always the same during the year. They added pancakes in the last year, very good. I would appreciate more seasonal food (watermelon all over the year in Finland is not so typical) and fresh fruits. In general good. I hope you take in consideration these points when I will return for the next time. Have a nice work and summer!
Morris C — Google review
Got in the rooms around midnight and the staff was still extremely nice and serviceable. They changed our initial room to be on the same floor as the second room so 10/10 for that. We had the breakfast and yeah pretty solid. All in all do recommend the place even if it is 45min by foot and 20 min by tram, honestly worth it.
Marie C — Google review
I don't know whom to blame it on, but hotel is very under staffed. I'll list down issues. Housekeeping is very poor. With no staff available most part of the day. 1. Check at 4 pm is little too much even when traveling with infant. 2. Ac were so weak that it felt like having sauna in the room. Context 28 degrees Helsinki. 3. Ac started leaking like dripping water. I'll put photos and videos. We have to change room after we already unpacked. 4. Toiletries were missing in room with no soap in dispenser. 5. It felt like I'm working in the hotel running around for everything. I like to mention that staff at reception helped as much they could but at the end of the day my day was ruined.
Madhur M — Google review
I had a great experience at Meilahti. A special thanks to Martta from reception, who was extremely kind and attentive. She quickly arranged an extra heater for my room and organized a full stayover cleaning. Her professionalism and friendly communication made my stay much more comfortable. Thank you, Martta, for the excellent service!

We stayed here for four nights in July. Unfortunately, our room wasn't cleaned completely once and not cleaned at all once. We reported this to reception and asked for a monetary apology for the inconvenience. We were told we could only request this via email. We've sent three reminders since then. No response!

Situated within walking distance of popular attractions like the Lutheran Temppeliaukio Church and the Design Museum, this hotel offers free WiFi and a delightful breakfast buffet.
I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Aleksanteri Hotel in Helsinki. The hotel is very nice and perfectly located, with everything important within walking distance, which made exploring the city effortless. The rooms were tidy, clean, and very comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day out. When I arrived, there was a small hiccup as the staff couldn’t immediately find my booking. However, they were extremely friendly and did everything they could to resolve the situation quickly, which left me with a very positive impression of their service. The included breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the gym and sauna in the hotel were real highlights of my stay. Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for a short trip, whether for business or traveling solo — I’d happily return.

A very good hotel. The service standard at Radisson Blu is always spectacular, the staff is always impeccably friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious, but could do with a little renovation, as the furniture is a little old. The bathroom has been renovated and is all modern. A plus is the free access to the sauna, which is always wonderful after a day full of sightseeing. In addition, the hotel always has some water and some sweets at the entrance, a nice addition. I’ve stayed at the Radisson Blu Aleksanteri Hotel several times, and it’s always an exceptional experience. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and very comfortable. The service is consistently excellent — warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. I’ll definitely continue booking all my future stays here. Highly recommended!

I have marked this hotel as my favourite place in helsinki. Everytime i come to helsinki, i book a room here just for the staff and service. Such cordial staff. I am sorry but i can't recall name of the staff at the reception, he is an old man very friendly, " Sir, if you are reading this, always a pleasure to meet you at the reception, your kindness is very contagious". But i will not limit to him, i will praise every staff at the counter. Everyone is very nice and kind. The rooms are nice, a bit old but that's because the building is old, but for me if service and staff is impeccable, everything else can be adjusted.

We were on a two week tour with Go Ahead tours. We stayed in many hotels along the way, but this one was the best by far. Our rooms were ready ahead of schedule. The location was a short walk to so many restaurants and shops. We had a special celebration for one of our tour members and Cynthia went above and beyond to make it a wonderful celebration. We would definitely return there and highly recommend it.

Staff great Breakfast wonderful Sauna good Gym adequate location perfect near 2 trams and 2 buses opposite supermarket room had fridge, kettle. only issue was that the bed was small. my wife felt cold so they gave heater and extra blanket. 👏

Soundproofed rooms, very silent. Air conditioner can be set to 19 degrees, which is good (usually you can set it till 21°). The breakfast is splendid. Sauna is okeish, you need to make serious efforts to raise the temperature at least to 85°, but not goind higher unfortunately. Gentle personnel.

Scandic Park Helsinki is a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Helsinki, popular among business travelers and families alike. It has hosted prestigious events and offers a comprehensive range of business services. The hotel's convenient location near Finlandia Hall and the Finnish National Opera makes it an ideal choice for leisure travelers. With polished rooms, a restaurant, saunas, an indoor pool, and a hot tub, guests can enjoy modern amenities during their stay.
Great hotel, great service, great food, and a great location! My father, two sons, and I stayed here. Got to experience the standard family four room, the king bedroom suite with bath, and even added on teenage standard room which is completely worth the price! Loved they had so much to offer including the gym, multiple saunas, pool, fresh and good variety of breakfast, and more. Igor, I believe his name to be, was outstanding in service. A good easy walk about 20 mins to the city and a beautiful park right across the street, multiple stores including convenient stores, wine store and restaurants in the back of the hotel across the street. Kid friendly and Great value! Caution: The pool is not suitable for small kids that are not strong swimmers. So bring a flotation device or be in pool with your little one!

It was fine. Spent one night here after staying at a different Scandic. Breakfast was good like normal, but the room and hotel were significantly dirtier/more limited/more used bc it's in a bigger city. Convenient location with a parking garage attached, but construction also made it trickier to find/use. Still a good price for a family hotel room.
Taylor S — Google review
I just recommend it for business conferences, not vacations! We really enjoyed the location and hotel landscape next to the beautiful lake, but I expected more internal services like proper cleaning inside the room. Surprisingly, we only found the blankets organized at the end of the day! Also, there was not enough space for 4 people. In addition, they did not provide the bath materials properly. Finally, the extra fees for coffee and tea were quite high, even more expensive than in bars inside the city.
Aida S — Google review
The location is nice, the rooms are fresh and cozy but I didn't find basic things in the room like a water kettle, tea/coffee cups, tea/coffee, phone to call reception or their other services. Otherwise all great, especially the breakfast is awesome.
Nilesh M — Google review
I stayed here with my friends for three nights. The location is perfect — close to a beautiful lake, the famous Helsinki library, and the city center. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and a swimming pool, which I really enjoyed. The room itself was fine, but not very spacious for four people. Another downside was the lack of a kettle in the room — for tea or coffee you have to go to the lobby and pay, and the price is even higher than a normal cup outside. The room service is just summerises in making bed not cleaning the ground and charging bath materials like liquid soap. The hotel is more suitable for the business/ conferences than holiday.
Masume S — Google review
Great location when visiting Olympic stadium. Considerably cheap price compare to other places. From 4 a.m. open gym was really nice bonus. Overall top value for money, thank you
Laurynas L — Google review
Excellent location, although traffic can be heard even on the 8th floor. The rooms are somewhat dated but generally clean and comfortable. However, the breakfast service was appalling, and that's why I'm giving only 1 star. The breakfast area was overcrowded, with long queues, and guests were being allowed in even when there were no free seats. Tables were left uncleared and piled with dirty dishes, and guests (including us) had to clean a space for themselves before sitting down.
Ulla N — Google review
Software (employees) of this hotel is great, hardware (room itself) was borderline terrible due to the fact there is no A/C in the rooms. We were in the room facing west and the heat was unbearable during our stay. Breakfast was very good, albeit no fish options other than tuna spread. Great cocktails in the hotel bar, swimming pool is also good.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my family. The location is excellent everything we needed was close by and very convenient. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. I especially want to mention one staff member who was doing his training during our stay i don’t remember his name but he was 21 and wear glasses . He really stood out because of how kind and approachable he was. We ended up having a very nice conversation with him, and he showed genuine interest in making sure we felt comfortable. When we accidentally lost our key, he didn’t hesitate to help us right away, even though he was clearly busy at the time. He handled the situation with such patience and professionalism, which really impressed us. On top of that, he gave us some great recommendations for places to visit in Helsinki that made our trip even more enjoyable. The morning breakfast was also delicious and had a great variety to choose from. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and thanks to the welcoming staff especially the trainee who went above and beyond we would happily stay here again!

Came here for my 30th birthday from the UK. Thoroughly enjoyed Finland, all the staff here were very polite and helpful, rooms where cleaned on requested days via the checking desk. Even got a voucher for drinks at the roof terrace restaurant/bar as it was my birthday. For the money it cost us to stay here, we would come again.

Understandably smaller room for a large city in Europe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff on the rooftop restaurant and bar were especially attentive, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Will T — Google review
Top-tier. Would give six stars if I could. Comfortable beds, great buffet breakfast, and so easy to get to/from both the airport and most attractions - tram lines 1/2/6T/7T all run past the front, and it's across the street from the central Helsinki station with direct rail service to the airport.
Mars_ G — Google review
Rooms are very nice, but also quite small. Despite being small, the rooms were well organized for short stays. But, I would hesitate to stay longer than a couple of days as there is little space for storing clothes for a single business person. The service was excellent. The staff try their best to accommodate all of your needs. The restaurant had a beautiful breakfast, and the bar serves delicious drinks. The location is central to many restaurants and activities. The only disappointment was not being able to access the club at the hotel despite being a guest.

Today (19May2025) I went there just for breakfast, no idea about the rooms to be honest. I'll visit you again soon.

VERY stale and outdated hotel. Rooms are decent size for Europe but dirty, cheap and ugly. The squeegee in the shower was interesting. Best part was the breakfast and being right on the tram line that goes directly to ferry terminal. Staff not very friendly and would not stay there again.
Scott D — Google review
My room was small enough to get a claustrophobic attack. No towels were provided initially, I hope I could have realized this before I really needed them. The room was also really dark with the only option to turn the bed light on. Elevators have a mild scent of puke. On the bright side this hotel is very central.

Location is great. Plenty of restaurants shops etc. Tram and busses easy to get too. Breakfast was great lots too choose from. Rooms were ok. Outdated. Bathroom is a shocker. Definitely in need of update. Too small, drains don't work.
Dawn C — Google review
The hotel boasts of an excellent location, being close to all major city attractions, having great links either directly (virtually on its doorstep) or indirectly (through the main rail station) to everywhere. We had the family room, which was spacious, with the exception of the bathroom, which was quite small. Our room overlooked the main street, but there wasn't much noise, and we had no problems sleeping. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of hot and cold items, all of which being of good quality. Service was professional and attentive as well. Finally, the free sauna is an added bonus, which we did thoroughly enjoy.

Helsinki Day Spa offers a serene Nordic setting where natural elements and gentle lighting create a calming atmosphere. Housed in an 1880s building with historic charm, the spa's Lounge is adorned with arched windows and ornate ceilings, adding an old-world elegance to the experience.
I received a gift for my bday. The place is a zone of peace and relaxation. Sofia the beauty cosmetologist who take care of me did a wonderful job. She also gives me advice for my skin care. One week later I can say Thank you her. Never felt more amazing
Hada C — Google review
I had a pedicure. It was no value for the price they asked for (€110). First of all, the changing room has swinging doors which don't close (in the pic). Also, there is no accessible toilet in the changing room. In thenother area, there was some renovation going on, and handymen were drilling over the toilet door. The pedicure was 60 minutes long, and the lady spent about 30 of it with cutting the toenails. The exfoliation lasted about 5 minutes. It was a joke. She only treated the feet up until the ankles (not the knees as they are usually treated). She used a foot file even on my arches, where the skin is soft. The light massage of the foot was so painful at one point that I pulled my foot out of her hand. She seemed to enjoy this. I do not recommend this place
Eszter — Google review
An excellent experience from when we arrived until leaving. Elena provided a fabulous massage. She made sure it was the right pressure. I felt she was very knowledgeable about what she was doing, the areas she was treating and how she treated me. I would definitely recommend her. The lounge before and after added to the experience. I will definitely go there again when I’m in Helsinki 😍
Lorraine V — Google review
I am a frequent customer to Helsinki Day Spa.Every time I visited this place my experience was nothing but best. I like the exotic and luxurious feeling this place can offer, the moment you walk in. Some might say the services are more costlier than any other spa or massage places but I would say it is worth giving that money. Because you get a very well organised changing and shower room, you can enjoy a relaxing time in their lounge area having some sparkling wine (non alcoholic) or green tea with chocolates or nuts before or after your service. This gives you a memorable experience. Coming to their treatments, I generally go for hot stone messages which are done very professionally and catered to your individual need. Professionals here know their job quite well and they make you feel very comfortable. Recently I have also gone for a special facial treatment called HDS Ultimate Hydra & Pore Care. This is the first time I ever tried this kind of treatment which aims for deep pore cleansing and detoxification. After 2 days, I am already noticing better results in my skin texture. It is more smoother and showing a glow. Also noticed reduction in my dark spots. So I would say all their services are worth the money. If you are the one who believes in treating yourself with good care and with little pampering then this is the place in Helsinki.
Nabonita B — Google review
I had a 50-minute sports massage. It was very professional, very pleasant, and wonderful. Since I travel a lot, I've compared massages from different countries, and they vary greatly. This massage was one of the best.
D. M — Google review
Not worth the money, this so called spa is way overpriced. The whole place is run down, and a bit shabby. I had a facial, and the therapist did not even ask me what I wanted or needed. She mostly gave me a massage, and I was not here for that. So disappointed with this place. Do not go here, there are much nicer places for the same price you pay here.
Sarah F — Google review
Pretty mediocre experience for such a price. The massage should have taken longer than it actually took. The masseuse didn’t wash her hands properly and I smelled onion or something she had for lunch, I guess. The interior is pretty, though, and the buffet in the lounge area was nice.
Snow B — Google review
I have been here several times. And last month I came here on my birthday with a gift card from my husband for a massage. I was picked up late from the lounge, and the massage was finished early, so I didn’t get the 50 minute worth of massage. However the reception was nice enough to make a 20% off when I mentioned the timing. The lounge is a great area for relaxing before and after treatments, the tea and snacks they provided adds a luxurious and relaxing feeling and atmosphere. It is my favorite part.

Kämp Spa is an essential part of the luxurious Kämp Hotel, located in the heart of Helsinki near Esplanadi Park. The spa offers a range of treatments using the exclusive ESPA product line, providing guests with an authentic Helsinki experience. With three types of sauna, including steam, Turkish Hammam, and Finnish saunas, as well as a modern gym and a full spa menu, Kämp Spa combines 19th-century elegance with 21st-century amenities.
I very much enjoyed my massage and sauna time at kamp spa. The staff is welcoming, the local is impeccable and make you feel ready for relaxation. The sauna section was a bit busy with more people conversing but still quite relaxing.
Emma — Google review
Traveling to Helsinki for our tenth anniversary, my wife and I booked an 80 and 50 minute service at the Kamp Spa, respectively. We would have preferred to book the same service, but availability was limited. The spa sits apart from the Hotel Kamp, but we were able to locate the access point after some help from the hotel staff. After we checked in, I was tracked down by the receptionist and asked to pay in advance because "some people get too relaxed afterward that they leave accidentally." Odd, but fine. The welcome room (pictured on the website with the stone-heated chairs) was beautiful and relaxing. Connected to that room, there are two small saunas that are well maintained and comfortable. Perhaps owing to the different treatments we reserved, my wife and I had very different experiences in terms of quality. She was consulted by her therapist and had a wonderful and relaxing time. I was pointed to the bed without much discussion and had a generally poor (and sometimes painful) session relative to the 5 to 10 massages I've had. When my service concluded, I was ushered quickly into a second relaxation room with four oil-stained, fabric-upholstered chairs. Throughout that room, there were dirty dishes, food crumbs, and grape stems on the floor. Because my wife's massage was 30 minutes longer, I had to wait for a while in that room. I requested some tidying, which was done in part. It still felt a bit dirty afterward. I got the sense that the staff was more focused on closing down the spa than concluding the services of the last customers of the day. After my wife finished her massage, we went back to the first relaxation for a bit. Then we headed to to exit, but were stopped for payment. After a bit of confusion, the front desk realized that they had already asked me to pay up front. That sort of left me with the impression that I may have been asked to pay at the beginning because I am not Finnish. It wasn't a big deal, but also wasn't the best feeling. Ultimately, my wife had a nice enough time. My feedback to the Kamp Spa would be (1) to improve cleanliness in the second relaxation room, (2) to standardize payment process across all customers, (3) to encourage the therapists to consult each customer, and (4) not to rush closing the spa while your last customers conclude their service.
Chris C — Google review
Kämp Spa is currently under renovation, so they’ve set up a temporary spa in some of their hotel rooms. There’s no sauna, no showers, etc., so the current pricing is definitely too high for the experience offered. However, the real issue was the treatment itself. I love spa treatments and have had many—both in Finland and abroad. Unfortunately, this pedicure was definitely among the top three worst treatments I’ve ever had. For the first 30 minutes, the therapist aggressively scrubbed my dry feet with a foot file. It was really uncomfortable and quite painful. Keep in mind that I’m thirty and had my last pedicure a year ago, so my feet weren’t in particularly bad condition. And if they were, she should have had better tools. The “massage” was simply her running her hands up and down my legs for so long that the oil or lotion dried up, and the friction actually started to hurt. Her overall attitude felt more tired and slightly hostile than warm and welcoming. I would definitely not recommend Kämp Spa for a treatment.
Soni — Google review
Did the 2 hour my spa day package and omg it was so good. The lady explained and provided little dishes of face scrubs, a mask, moisturiser so we could do our own mini facial. You have access to the white warm chairs to lounge and sip your processco & eat the 3 handmade chocolates provided. The sauna and steam room were just behind the chairs and were fantastic. Everything was so clean. The robes and slippers were great. Had a lovely shower after using all the nice shower products. Even used the hairdryer and hair straightener. Couldn’t recommend this more. Was such a nice relaxing spa experience. Tip- go earlier in the afternoon rather than later.

I stayed here a while ago and loved my experience. A great location near to metro stops, bus routes, shopping center, and relevant for me Aalto University. The restaurant was excellent, staff very courtesies and professional, and rooms were more than adequate for me and my needs. All in all a great stay and hope to return to Helsinki one day and would happier stay here again.

The bathroom was dirty, the furniture in the rooms is damaged, the receptionist was impolite, as a guest that pays a bit too much for an absolute below average hotel, I gave 1 star. There are better places to stay, where the ratio price/quality and cleanliness is better. But it might just be the Finnish standard.

The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Reception desk “please feel free to dine in our restaurant” Restaurant “you need a reservation” (as if we walked into the busiest restaurant in Helsinki without a booking). I prebooked and prepaid the room. I arrived at 1am, reception then said that the hotel was overbooked. They can send me to a hotel up the road or put me in a Sauna facility. As I was already exhausted, I said the sauna room is fine. The bed was very small and the fire exit light kept me up all night. The next morning I saw that the toilets were not cleaned, not even flushed, and there were empty beer cans in the room. I thought they would make it up to me the next day, but they didn't show any indication of apology. The lady at the front desk even said that it happens a lot and made it seem normal that they would overbook and make this situation more common than only me.

Guests can expect smart and comfortable guestrooms, with the option to upgrade to contemporary GLO suites for extra space and special touches. The hotel also offers a cellar restaurant/bar, library, seasonal loaner bikes, and sauna treatments.
Just spent 3 nights as a family here. Wonderful hotel would highly recommend! Very comfy beds, soft pillows and very friendly helpful staff. So quiet in rooms too! Breakfast and dinner all included as well as afternoon cake and tea/ coffee. Food was delicious and fresh. Good selection at breakfast and a proper home cooked meal( set menu - buffet style )in the evening with delicious soup and bread and variety of salads. Great location- 3 min walk to trams that take you everywhere you need to go ( centre, trains, ferries) and run every few minutes! Love the castle feel as you enter. Would definitely return. Many thanks for a wonderful stay

I had a deeply unpleasant experience at this hotel, mainly due to the behavior of one staff member, Irina, whose attitude made me feel like I had checked into a Soviet-era government facility rather than a four-star hotel. Her dismissive, cold manner and heavy-handed approach completely ruined my stay. Before arrival, I sent two messages with my estimated arrival time and a question about dinner options since my booking included dinner. I received no reply, and when I arrived, dinner was already over. During check-in, I asked if I could instead have a packed dinner the following day upon checkout, as I had a long journey ahead. She agreed. Not only did she fail to arrange this, but when I politely inquired about it the next day, she shouted at me in front of other guests. I had to ask her to calm down, as her behavior was shockingly unprofessional and aggressive. She offered no apology and acted as though it was my fault for her mistake. Even the “room upgrade” I received was revealed to be due to overbooking delivered in a way that made it clear it wasn’t a complement rather a huge favor (again on their mistake). Overall, there was a complete lack of hospitality, warmth, or basic service you would expect from any hotel, let alone one rated with four stars. My advice: Avoid this place unless you enjoy being shouted at or time traveling to a Soviet state.

There is a bar near the hotel, so it is loud at night. Windows in rooms are closed and there is a very loud air conditioning that can’t be turned off. The temperature could not be reduced below 21 degrees. We tried to do it in four rooms. There is no wardrobe or a night table with drawers. The elevator has neither Braille markings, nor audio information. There is no handrail on the stairs between the ground floor and the first floor. There are no ear mugs in the rooms and restaurant, so it's difficult to carry a hot drink. From the positives there are telephones in the rooms and you can call between the rooms. Tasty breakfasts and afternoon snacks. A large selection of teas, including cinnamon. You can buy lunch and dinner at a good price. Restaurant and reception employees are very helpful, kind and open to the needs of guests.

Super cool and unique location, with breakfast included and option to include lunch and dinner buffets. Coffee in the lounge as well. Rooms are nice and clean, and gym is better than most hotel gyms with a smith machine, cables, dumbbells, and cardio machines. Staff is super friendly. Recommend!

The stay was really good! The hotel is located in a nice area, though not right in the center, so you need to walk a bit. The food was very tasty, and the staff were very kind. At first, we received a room with a problem with the toilet sink, but after we complained, we were given a different room.

I absolutely loved my stay. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, making me feel truly welcome.
Jonathan — Google review
Yes the rooms are way small. I mean you can’t even stretch if you want to. The location and the dinner and breakfast make up for the lack of room space. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Nabil T — Google review
A nice hotel with a great location (go straight for 15 mins to the port and city centre), good rooms, quite standard for the price. Meals are ok'ish - normally I see better breakfasts in Scandinavian countries. One big disappointment was that the room was not ready for the checkin at the check-in time (and even shortly after) - have never experienced that in any hotel in my life (so far). Besides that good place to stay.

Hotel Haven is a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel located in central Helsinki, close to the south harbor. It has attracted famous guests like the Dalai Lama and Kylie Minogue due to its upscale amenities and premium service with a touch of homeliness. The hotel offers five different room categories, including the Lux Sea View Rooms which boast stunning views of the harbor. Guests can enjoy gourmet dining at the Havis restaurant and unwind at the Bar Haven lounge in the evening.
Stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel recently. The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Lots of choice for breakfast. We also ate at the Victor restaurant, and the food here was great too. It is close to public transport and shops. If we ever return to Helsinki we will stay here again, and heartily reccommend it!

We arrived in Helsinki and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome than Hotel Haven. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, just steps from Esplanade Park and the harbor, this hotel blends comfort, charm, and convenience in a way that truly sets the tone for an unforgettable journey. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, offering the kind of comfort that’s hard to leave behind, but with Helsinki just outside the door, we couldn’t resist exploring. The courtyard area was a delightful surprise: peaceful, cozy, and the perfect spot to relax after a day of travel. And the breakfast? Second to none. Thoughtfully curated with fresh, high-quality offerings in a beautiful setting, an ideal way to start the day. With top-tier amenities, warm service, and a location that puts you in the very heart of old Europe, Hotel Haven is more than a place to stay, it's part of the experience. What a treat to begin our Baltic adventure here. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently stayed here. Overall, we enjoyed the space. Our room was nice with tall ceilings and a large window. The shower only has half a glass wall so it could get messy but not a huge issue. I wish the room had been a tad cooler but doable in September weather. The breakfast is definitely why you stay here. It was great! Can’t say enough. Service was great when we needed it. The location is right in the middle of the action but quiet at the same time. A definite recommend.

Everything was great as others have said. I wanted to comment especially on the restaurant where breakfast was served. Wonderful historic rooms overlooking the harbour. A highlight for me. Also worth knowing that although it did not have a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, the food served in the bar is actually very good.

A lovely three night’s stay in the Hotel Haven in Helsinki! The location is good, it’s about 10 minutes walk from the central station. There are restaurant, shops and also buses within 3 min walk. Also super convenient if you would like to do some sightseeing. We stay at the room with the view but i think the view is not as good(there isn’t much to see and is kind of blocked) however the facilities inside the room were really good, me and my family liked it a lot. The breakfast is also really good, it’s served between 7:30-10:30 and there is plenty of options.

Excellent location. It is within walking distance of the tram, making it easy to get to places. It is also walking distance from the square and the markets as well as the ferry to Suomenlinna. We had a great view from our room. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast that was included was great and they also had other options for a fee. The service was amazing. We were there on a rainy weekend and they had umbrella umbrellas for the guest to use. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future.

Stayed at Hotel Haven for 3 nights during a visit to Helsinki for a conference and it was an excellent choice. Room was lovely, food was excellent and the staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel location was perfect for doing some sightseeing in the limited spare time I had. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Haven in Helsinski! The decor is beautiful and inviting, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable! We even had a great view of the Ferris wheel right outside our window! The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Super convenient for exploring the city. Food-wise, everything was top-notch. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a ton of fresh, high-quality options — definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! The on-site restaurants were also great, and a visit to the lobby bar is a must! The cocktails were fantastic, and the French fries were surprisingly amazing — highly recommend them for a late-night snack!! Can’t recommend Hotel Haven enough. I’d absolutely stay here again!

During my recent visit to Helsinki, I had the pleasure of staying at the Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti, and it truly enhanced my experience in this vibrant city. Nestled right in the heart of Helsinki, this contemporary hotel boasts stylish rooms and suites that are both spacious and impeccably clean. The location is unbeatable; with many top attractions just a short stroll away and the central train station nearby, exploring the city couldn't be easier.
I LOVED this hotel. Everything was pleasant, clean and functional. The hotel staff was nice. The room was pretty and big. The swimmingpool and sauna were delightful. Good breakfast buffet. Great location. Nothing bad about this place! Would definitely be back when in Helsinki.
E. R — Google review
This is one of the best hotels I have been to. The staff was very kind and even helped me print out papers with short notice. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were especially nice and big so your head is still on the pillow if you roll in your sleep. The pool was bit enough to swim laps (16m?), however was a bit on the colder side. But it was nice that the depth varied on the sides of the pool. I can imagine families travelling with children could also enjoy the pool. A nice touch was also the fridge and the kettle in the room. There were also schampoo, conditioner and soap, as well as a sleeping mask with earplugs and wipes for the shoes and a oatmeal cookie. This was very nice touch and made the stay extra comfortable. It is also situated very central close to the subway. I belive this is a good hotel also for families travelling with kids. There were complimentary chocolate drinks in the rooms and the fridge is good for storing fruit and snacks or breastmilk ;)

Great location, about 5 mins walk from the nearest metro. It's also less than 10 mins from the central railway station. The location is really good with food places and a mall nearby. Rooms are good sized and clean. Breakfast has quite a spread. There's also a gym, sauna and pool. We checked at almost midnight and everything was smooth. Reception is open 24h.

Great central location — we stayed for one night. Breakfast and service were just fine. You can walk into the city easily, everything is close by. Friendly staff, and the rooms have everything you need.

Soko Presidential Helsinki hotel room is clean and spacious. There are about 5 lifts serving all floors which is great that for fast access and lessen congestion from the morning crowd. The breakfast spread is excellent. Well balanced choices. The quality and taste of the prepared food and drinks were very good. The hotel location is very central with easy transport access. It is near a big mall that offers a few supermarkets, F&B, fashions, etc. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel surrounding looked safe. May be that also explains seeing many Japanese and Asians staying at this hotel. The hotel staff is professional and friendly. They were courteous and respectful when handling the guests and queries.

The Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel, Helsinki is a stylish property located in the heart of Helsinki, offering trendy and comfortable rooms. Situated near the main train station and a metro station, it provides easy access to bars, restaurants, and shopping areas. The hotel features an a la carte restaurant serving Scandinavian cuisine and offers beautiful views of the water. Guests can enjoy complementary sauna access in three different saunas as well as a chic rooftop lounge.
First of all, it’s important to understand that I’m not reviewing this hotel as a five-star property, but as a standard hotel. In its own category, it’s excellent. We’ve stayed here several times already. For example, compared to Sokos Hotels, the standard rooms are clearly better and, above all, the breakfast is noticeably superior. Customer service was excellent – we stayed the night from Friday 22.8. to Saturday 23.8. The only major downside is that the hotel’s own restaurant is rarely open, so you can’t sit down for a nightcap.
Ari S — Google review
Sadly not very clean, neither the room, nor public areas nor the restaurant - all a bit filthy, which is a no-go. Very good breakfast with lots of vegan options as well, though. View from and size of the business rooms is nice.
Florian D — Google review
The Reception staff were friendly & helpful. The rooms were very comfortable & well appointed, & soundproof to internal noise. The only downside to the room was the location & external traffic noise (especially the trams squealing brakes as they turned a corner). The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good quality with a wide selection of Finnish & international foods on offer each day.
Faith P — Google review
We had a large family room for 3 adults with 3 king-size beds, they were very comfortable with lovely pillows. The room had a small balcony with a view of the sea. The room was spacious and very clean with a great bathroom, big bathtub and powerful shower. Plenty of cupboard space and usual tea tray, fridge and hairdryer. The breakfast was amazing! So much choice and beautifully cooked. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, only 20 minute walk from the city centre and harbour, lots of restaurants on the doorstep and pretty parks surrounding

We had a really nice time at Radisson Blu Seaside. Lily and Nora at the front desk were lovely to chat with super frienldy, helpful, and easy to talk to. The room was clean, comfortable, and had evrything we needed. Breakfast was also great, with lots of tasty options to start the day. Would definitely stay again!
Amin P — Google review
We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, although the dining area felt a bit small and was quite crowded on the day we visited. The hotel also has a small playroom for kids, which is a nice touch for families. Great location—just a short walk to the tram station and very convenient for getting to the city centre.
Rajith ( — Google review
We stayed at this hotel when we travelled to Finland and found it a really beautiful hotel. The rooms are very formal in their designs but very much in keep with the Scandinavian style you find in this area. The real beauty of this hotel is the views of the outside, the tram runs right out side the doors and their is a well equipped supermarket around the corner. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a Radisson. I would recommend this hotel highly
Jamie B — Google review
I would like to start with staff at the front desk of the hotel, were very good. Very responsive, approachable and work hard. Breakfast was very good! Cleaning of the rooms really is a let down. Sheets are clean but unfortunately the room is full of dust everywhere, on the lamps, sockets, bedboard tops. The most disgusting is having public hairs around the bed mattress where the mattress top sits on. Does no one inspect this? I got out of bed and saw a hair on the edge of the bed (which was clearly a different colour to my hair for a start!) then lifted the topper up to find several public hairs, eye lash hairs which were never cleaned by the looks of it. As I lifted the topper it's clear there's a strong stain underneath, see photos. Sometimes the photos speak more than my written review. If you have one loo roll, that's all you get. I think I am being very generous for giving 2 stars, but it's because the front desk staff were brilliant. Location is good, right by tram stops and places are walkable with nearby supermarket.

Eurohostel Helsinki, located in the Katajanokka district, offers a convenient and modern base for exploring the city. The hostel provides simple and clean rooms, including single-sex dorms with free Wi-Fi and linens. It is just a short tram ride from Helsinki's main attractions and the bustling Market Square. Eurohostel is perfect for budget-conscious travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. The hostel features communal kitchens and a sauna for guests to enjoy.
Good hostel! Very close to the Viking Line ferry terminal which was super convenient for my day trip to Estonia and overnight ferry to Stockholm. The private twin room was affordable and large enough to spread out my stuff. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend!

Very adequate hostel. Rooms give what you need and helpful 24hr desk. Morning sauna is a bonus. Very helpful location a short tram into town. Bathrooms and kitchen fine. Breakfast and restaurant expensive for what you get.
Joel P — Google review
This is a relatively cheap & basic hostel. It is fine for a 1 night stop, but would not recommend any longer. The beds are basic but work/practical. The rooms are OK. the toilet / showers are shared with a set for females / males on each floor. It is situated a bit away from things but not too far (20 min walk to the 'centre').
Angus C — Google review
This was a great stay for me in Helsinki! I was very happy to find it and the price! For a hostel, I was expecting to be in a room with 6-10 people but it was only 2! Very clean and warm! A couple of market stores within a 5-7min walk. Staff were helpful. The quality sauna was a big plus! And a very sustainability conscious operation!
Arvin D — Google review
Eurohostel Helsinki turned out to be a solid choice for budget-friendly accommodation in the city. The hostel offers a good variety of rooms – from dorms to singles and twins – so you can choose depending on your budget and comfort level. I found it well located in Katajanokka, just a short walk or tram ride to the center and main sights. There are tram stops right outside, which makes getting around very easy. Despite being a hostel, it’s quiet and peaceful, with decent soundproofing that ensures a good night’s rest. The lockers are large and practical, which is especially handy if you’re traveling with a big backpack or suitcase. For value in Helsinki, Eurohostel is hard to beat. Prices are reasonable compared to the city average, and you even get some nice extras. The free morning sauna (7–10am) was a fantastic bonus and something very Finnish to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to give tips about the city and transport. Breakfast was available as a buffet – quite basic, but enough to start the day. If you’re planning to enjoy the nightlife, the hostel is also in a walkable distance to bars and clubs, plus Helsinki has night tram/bus lines to get you back safely if you stay out late. Overall, a reliable, affordable, and comfortable option in Helsinki. Great location, helpful staff, and some unique perks like the sauna make it stand out, even if the breakfast could be more varied.
Christos I — Google review
A hostel where the price-performance ratio is good. The reception worked perfectly. What disappointed me was the kitchen equipment—a lack of dishes, cups... Compared to other hostels, the common areas are also relatively inadequate. It is not possible to work comfortably on a computer here.
JanKoDaj — Google review
I had a great stay! Staff is nice and friendly, 24 hour reception, it's a huge hostel with many floors. Everything you need in a hostel until the 2 days where it's quite hot which I happened to be there for. I can't fault them for not having fans or ac, because 99% of the time it's not needed. I liked the location, close to ferry (Go on the water!) it was quiet. I stayed in a shared double which had plenty of space, beds are decently comfortable. Towels wrap all around your waist! (Simple joys in hostel life). I got some groceries and used the kitchen as Helsinki can get a bit expensive. Ps: they have signs everywhere to drink tap water, and it's excellent!
Aeryn R — Google review
Nice place for backpackers or travelers with low budget. Easy to find the hotel, room are quite nice but can get noisy at night and early morning. Get prepared to put your bed linen in the room. 😂 Shared bathroom is not equipped with shower gel... In case you forget yours... I won't recommend the breakfast, very simple and not appealing for me.

Nestled in a tranquil square amidst enchanting buildings in Helsinki, Scandic Paasi is a haven for design enthusiasts. The hotel's bright white interiors are accentuated with bold splashes of color, embodying a contemporary Scandinavian style. Superior Plus rooms boast private saunas and spacious kitchenettes, while the large gym offers an ideal space to work up an appetite before savoring delectable dishes at the floating Meripaviljonki pavilion.
They were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the facilities were great. Free breakfast with many gluten-free options meant we always had breakfast (Celiac friendly). The location meant we could walk to the city center, but it was 15 to 20 minutes. That said, it is an easy and nice walk with Botanical gardens and the river nearby. Great place to stay!

The hotel's location by the sea and close to the city centre is great. We had a spacious, comfy room, where one could easily stay for longer. And what I especially appreciated was all the efforts the hotel was making to be sustainable. E.g. The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center (15min on foot from the central station), in a quiet side street. The hotel is a bit older and some corners look slightly run down. It is clean though.

One of the worst experiences in a hotel. The staff was unfriendly. Before arriving, I informed them by email that an additional person was coming with me and asked them to change the reservation. They responded quickly and confirmed the changes, but these were not recorded upon arrival. The older lady at the reception was very hostile and rudely announced that we did not have a reservation for the correct number of people and made us feel like we were not welcome. They did not want to provide the bill for the room until I insisted. The room was superficially cleaned (especially the bathroom), it had a broken window. There was also a lot of dust in the breakfast area.

It offers amenities such as a sauna, steam room, complimentary bikes, and a Nordic bistro-style restaurant called Brod. Great hotel, really enjoyed my stay here. The food & drinks that were included from the mini-bar was a really nice gesture. The room itself is nicely modern, which I liked. They also have 24/7 fitness room, with good equipment. The night receptionists are incredibly friendly and hospitable. They are very knowledgeable on the area as well which is super nice. If you need any recommendations on activities to do, or want a late night chat while enjoying some booze at the bar then worry not because you’ll have an enjoyable time. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, with a tram station nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast is tasty with a wide variety of food options to enjoy. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Rooms are clean, well-sized, and the bathroom is impressively spacious with a nicely separated bath and shower area. The staff are very friendly and polite, making the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was a bit lacking and made the room feel too warm during autumn nights. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Our stay was truly amazing, thanks to your exceptional staff. From the friendly front desk to attentive housekeeping and the welcoming restaurant team. Everyone made us feel right at home. The location is fantastic central and within walking distance to everything, with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spotless and comfortable, and we really appreciated the small touches, like the local tips and warm greetings each day. Service like this is rare, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Please pass along our sincere thanks to the whole team—we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was truly five-star. The food was incredible—diverse and flavorful, with hidden gems like perfectly cooked eggs, delicious salmon, fresh vegetables, quiches, a wide variety of breads, power foods, wellness shots, smoothies, and fresh juices. All of this is served in a charming, cozy corner that feels far more personal and tasteful than a large, impersonal all-inclusive resort. We also met a Romanian staff member who added a warm, familiar touch to the experience. The entire team was extremely helpful, even preparing breakfast for early departures. The sauna and gym are available free of charge until 10PM, and daily cleaning is done thoughtfully—only removing towels left on the floor to support sustainability. The bed was cozy with an amazing king-size mattress—definitely not just two beds pushed together, or at least it didn’t feel that way. The room was well-equipped with a fridge, air conditioning, iron, and more. Everything was just right.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Very good breakfast with a variety of options. Staff at reception very friendly and efficient. Room very comfortable, apart from inability to control temperature. Excellent soundproofing on street side. A delightful boutique hotel, located on a charming central Helsinki boulevard. Every staff member we interacted with were friendly and professional. Sauna and steam room on site and free bikes to borrow. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. A wonderful stay. Book a king premium room.

We stayed at Hotel Indigo twice over a week—first for 3 nights and again for 1 night—and both experiences were very positive. The hotel boasts a great location with tram routes nearby that make it easy to get around, and it’s within walking distance of the harbour. Staff were friendly, and the rooms had a thoughtful layout with good amenities. The breakfast spread was tasty and varied, though it sometimes took up to 15 minutes to be served even when it wasn't busy. Cooling in summer could be improved in the rooms, as only a desk fan was provided. The small bar is a nice touch, but local beers at €10 felt pricey, and international TV options were limited beyond news channels. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Hotel Indigo and would choose to stay here again when visiting Helsinki.

Great hotel with nice staff. Room was nice and clean with a very modern feeling to it. Nice and spacious bathroom, even though I had an ordinary room. The bed was maybe a little to soft for my taste, but still very comfortable. One thing i noticed was that there was no sign to hang on the door to not be disturbed. Instead there was a small switch you pressed by the door and a red light was lit outside your room, letting the staff know you didn't want to be disturbed. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of things you could choose from. It felt fresh as well, with a good selection of greens. The only bad thing about the hotel was that you had to pay for the spa, even if you stayed at the hotel as a guest.

We loved our time here. An excellent location for exploring Helsinki. Staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Visible, hug use spaces were clean but be careful when storing suitcases as those "out of the way" places are not so clean. Otherwise a really lovely stay.

Staff were welcoming and spoke fluent English. They were expecting me and my room key was ready. There is a lift and your room key also opens the communal door to your floor as a added security. Room was spacious with sofa and added bonus there was desk with multiple sockets. You will need to bring an EU adapter if appropriate. There are USB portals. I wanted to live there permanently. Breakfast comprised of hot and cold food. Enjoyable and varied. If there is a downside I found the lighting system complicated and eventually managed to switch off all the lights.

One of the best hotels during our trip to Scandinavia. The hotel is in a great central location, within 10-15min walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and parks in Helsinki. The room itself was modern, clean, and an added bonus of A/C which can be uncommon in northern Europe. Would definitely stay with them again!

Had a special reduced rate due to building work but never heard any noise. The room was very clean and well presented. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh food, lots of choice for hot and cold and the bar space is homely but stylish. Loves the wall of succulents!

Central and good-looking hotel, but I would only give the location most of the stars as it is right in the city center (shopping area). Checked in there for 3 nights with a friend. Rooms are spacious, have any equipment needed for a city trip. Breakfast was okay, but not the best. Tbh, I have seen better and nicer hotels in this price category:) But most negative part about the trip: we couldn't leave our luggage in the hotel after the checkout, as the staff said "they are completely full". As our flight was quite late in the evening, we lost a complete day as we couldn't really go anywhere as having carried our luggage...(we're talking about only two small suitcases in hand luggage size). Never experienced it anywhere before that you cannot leave your lugagge after a checkout (even if it's full, you make it possible for the guest). Hotels are supposed to give their guest the best service, therefore a big minus for me here.

Nestled in the vibrant Punavuori district, the Original Sokos Hotel Albert offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience for travelers exploring Helsinki. This charming property features bright, modern rooms designed to provide a cozy atmosphere, complete with allergy-free options and an inviting sauna—perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They provided me with great recommendations and useful tips about the city, making my stay even more enjoyable. They also went out of their way to assist me with everything I needed, including allowing me to check in early. On top of that, they suggested some excellent restaurants, which turned out to be fantastic choices. Overall, their hospitality made a great impression on me.

Excellent location in southern Helsinki, which is slightly quieter but still has plenty of good restaurants. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast had everything necessary. The hotel also boasts a great location and a pleasant atmosphere typical of southern Helsinki.

Easy check in. Book parking in advance if you want a parking spot. Nice room. With air-conditioning, kettle and tea/coffee, shower and a TV. The bar is open a long time, think until 12.30am (night). The breakfast was excellent.

Our room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good with numerous options. We were allowed to drink our own wine on their patio and use their glassware. That doesn't happen at many places. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops and tourist sites. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The Sokos was a fantastic choice for us. Walkable area with restaurants and groceries nearby. The room size was adequate, and breakfast was well appointed. The staff was friendly, and a huge shout out to Marko for making our stay memorable with great local food & activity suggestions... and fantastic cappuccinos!!

Lovely hotel! Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location for exploring. Love the elevator!

Nice and tidy hotel. Unfortunately there is no restaurant so for dinner you have to go out. Luckily there is a huge selection of nice restaurants close by.
