European restaurant
Restaurant
Restaurant Kuurna is a charming and intimate eatery in Helsinki that offers refined European cuisine through set-course menus and daily specials. Since 2005, this modern bistro has been known for its cozy atmosphere, extensive wine list featuring classic and natural wines, and commitment to using high-quality local and seasonal produce. The menu changes every 2-3 weeks, focusing on simple dishes with a modern twist on Finnish classics.
This place is honestly incredible. Probably the best meal I had in Helsinki. Such an intentional menu complimented with genuine and kind service. It’s truly a gem from the minute you walk in. Thank you!
Anik A — Google review
Top notch experience from start to Finnish! Food and service were both fantastic, great value, and we would happily return. Stand outs from the menu (which changes regularly and showcases local ingredients were: The rustic homemade baguette!, Goats cheese tart, Beef tongue (special of the day) and the Potato skin with olive oil and peanut Swiss roll dessert. This last dish was very unique and really worked well.
Ting G — Google review
make sure to book a table, this place gets very crowded. service was lovely. for these jaw-dropping prices, i would expect more. the steak was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, but the rest of the dish left a lot to be desired. i would've liked more than half of a barely seasoned potato...
W N — Google review
Excellent dinner here on my last night in Helsinki. I had a 2-course meal from their new menu. Arctic char followed by peppercorn steak. Both were delicious. The service was also faultless. I found the staff welcoming and professional, and everything very well timed. Yes, it is pricey but that’s mainly due to the wine and less so the food. I did opt for a half-glass of wine to accompany the appetiser and a full glass of red with the steak. This is refined yet unfussy food in an intimate, unpretentious atmosphere. I’ve eaten well in Helsinki but this was my best meal and overall dining experience.
Jennifer F — Google review
Absolutely perfect dinner. Super good food and one of the best experiences overall. My husband has some food restrictions, and sometimes it becomes a little awkward when eating out, but not here! They were super accommodating and seemed to be very happy to customize dishes for him. It was the best restaurant experience for him ever. Thank you so much! Needless to say the service is absolutely top class!

Beautiful little bistro in a charming, historic building right near the harbour. Beautiful, delicate food.

Perfect place for a fancy date night. 😍 Average price for a fine dining and the food is worth every penny! Restaurant is small but the atmosphere is comfy and romantic. Service is so friendly and professional, big applause to the British waiter. Would give more than 5 stars if that was possible. 🤩 Recommended to book a table on the weekends since the restaurant is fully booked often.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We had the steak tartare and pepper steak. Would totally come back! Fairly priced, the desserts smelled amazing but did not have the chance to taste them, maybe next time!

Restaurant
Hills Dumplings is a popular Asian eatery that offers a wide variety of meat and vegetable dumplings, as well as bao buns and craft cocktails. The restaurant is known for its cozy atmosphere and modern decor. It caters to both vegan and vegetarian diners with its delectable handmade dumplings, while also offering options filled with pork or chicken. Customers praise the made-to-order dumplings, fried chicken, and cool vibes at this casual spot.
Love the food at Hills Dumplings. It is fresh, delicious and tasty. We always try to have a meal here when in town. Love their cocktails. The staff are friendly and professional and there is a great vibe. Recommend booking so you aren’t disappointed.
Danielle M — Google review
Surprisingly charming dumpling spot with great service Hill’s Dumplings really impressed us. From the outside you might not expect much, but inside it’s cozy, lively, and clearly popular — we were glad we booked ahead. We tried the pan-fried chicken dumplings, chicken satay dumplings, a pork bao bun, plus rice and salad on the side. Everything was delicious and exactly what you hope for from a place like this, in the best way possible. Portions were just right and the food came out quickly. Staff were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and stayed attentive without pushing tips or hovering. It can get a bit busy and tables are close together, so expect a lively, medium-noise vibe rather than a quiet dinner. Overall, great food, amazing service, and definitely worth a visit.
Zigi B — Google review
Very flavourful food and the price-quality is insanely good. Definitely the best place I have eaten at while in Helsinki. The service is also fast and the location’s nice
Nika L — Google review
We booked hills for a large bachelorette party. We had different eating restrictions and allergies that we asked to be catered for, and hills delivered above and beyond! They were incredibly attentive, supportive and great hosts! I can not recommend them enough! Thank you so much to the whole team that helped make the night amazing for the bride and the group!
T B — Google review
My wife and I specifically targeted Hills Dumplings based on some recommendations and were wildly impressed! With a sort of fresh-ish take on a traditional dumpling house, the shop is nestled just a short flight of stairs off the street. Pop by the counter and place an order during lunch- we swung by around 1300 on a Thursday afternoon and while the place had several groups, there was no wait for a table. I highly recommend their dumpling lunch combination; my wife and I tried all 3 varieties of theirs and were surprised to find it hard to pick a single favourite- the satay was particularly interesting if you're down to try something new; but I'm a traditionalist and loved their good 'ole fashioned pan fried dumplings. Their pork bao is great too! For the price this is one of the more impressive little hidden gems of wildly high quality food and quick service you can find on a trip through the city. The first round of dumplings was more than sufficient but we found ourselves ordering another lunch order to share just because we were THAT impressed and wanted to try everything! Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area (or even if you're not- worth a trip out of your way for a great lunch).
Christopher M — Google review
Hungry before the show I b-lined to here. Unfortunately as I approached a lot of other people seemed to have the same idea. Which is a good sign if the locals eat here but I backed out of the stairwell feeling overwhelmed. Bracing myself I re entered and in all fairness was rapidly seen to and miraculously a table found for me. I was sat to the right side where it was actually pretty chilled and cosy. As you can imagine they mostly serve dumplings here. I chose the duck gyoza style in satay and the fish curry dumplings. To drink I had this tasty cocktail of sorts which tasted nice and strong. I am not exaggerating when I say these are some of the best dumplings I've ever consumed. They were the perfect texture, flavour and just wow. The service was very attentive and approachable. Would highly recommend and perhaps book to be on the safe side.
Penny L — Google review
Great dumpling spot for sitting outside on patio. The dumplings come served up your way steam, fried, or brothed. Very tasty. We had the chicken steamed. Also got the pork bao buns. Very large in side and good flavor, but a little to dense and to much dough for my liking. Beer was delicious but hard to mess up.

Average portion of dumpling is quite small to adult so consider take ALL-IN portion. Nice food, nice staffs and good atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of Helsinki's vibrant design district, Café Bar No 9 is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. This charming bistro offers an array of international dishes, from hearty burgers and flavorful stir-fries to comforting pasta options. With its minimalistic yet traditional Nordic decor, the café attracts a trendy crowd eager to enjoy local artwork on display while savoring their meals.
Came here for an early dinner. The place is walkable from the city center. The ambience is nice. The staffs are super friendly and welcoming. We ordered salmon soup and and a Thai soup. The soup were just amazing, the rye bread amazing lathered with generous amount of butter. The combination of the bred and soup was just outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Helsinki. Do give it a go.
Satyajit D — Google review
The place was pretty empty when we went there so the atmosphere was quiet. We had to order at the bar and the food came pretty quickly. My friend got the caesar salad and i got the kill bill wokit. The food itself was pretty good but my food tasted like there was absolutely no salt added to it. I had to add salt every 2 bites. But it could be just my taste 🤷‍♀️. Prices were good. The portions were huge for us (and i usually can eat a lot). Overall a nice experience.
Inessa — Google review
Had a great experience at Cafe Bar 9 in Helsinki! I ordered the pasta pesto with fresh spinach, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A bit better air conditioning would make it even more comfortable, but overall it’s a lovely spot. Definitely recommended!
Rima B — Google review
Super glad I found this place!! Tried the traditional salmon soup and it was SO YUM! The price is also so much lesser than a restaurant. Staff are very friendly and great atmosphere inside.
Xiao C — Google review
This places feels like a canteen, where people on a low budget would go to or students etc. The decor was uninspiring and sad. The one bar man was super busy but quite friendly, he needs more help with taking food/ drink orders and serving drinks. Food service was slow but I’ll try and be positive, that this was because everything was freshly made to order. They do a meal deal, didn’t try it myself. Salmon soup with bread was very good, but the lemon chicken pasta was terrible. Prices were too high when considering the surroundings and food quality
Sam — Google review
Such good food in Helsinki. Definitely a local gem! We ate there pretty late 9:30pm~ summer sun had messed up our hunger/timing. Salmon soup and salmon pasta were divine. Service was great. Art was cool. Loved it!
Marissa F — Google review
Second time visiting and limoncello pasta is maybe one of the best dishes I have eaten. The staff is great and friendly. Only problem with this place (property) is, that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise level goes way too high. Both of the times I visited it felt like my eardrums were going to explode.
Viivi — Google review
A nice, small, and casual restaurant specializing in pasta and noodles. I went there to try the Pollo Limonello pasta — it was delicious with a creamy, tangy flavor, but a bit on the heavier side. The portion was generous, and I couldn’t quite finish it, but I really enjoyed the taste!

Art cafe
Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant Elite, located in the Toolo neighborhood of Helsinki, has been a beloved establishment since 1938. It is frequented by actors, journalists, writers, and artists and is renowned for its outdoor summer terrace. The restaurant offers an Artists Menu with fish or meat options as well as a vegetarian menu. Notable dishes include roasted salmon and reindeer with potato puree and juniper berry sauce, showcasing authentic Finnish flavors.
It is not often I do this! Being a very local from Helsinki and Töölö where Elite is and haven lived more then 25 years abroad I think I can give some insights. Going to Elite is not fussy as one going to a Michelin place. It is honest, genuine and extremely local with roots back to 1932. It starts with cloakroom attending you, super classical setting, well dressed staff and tables with white tablecloths and proper napkins and the bistro style always too small, but still elegant wine glasses. And the staff is old school there forever and so on top of things and super friendly. A famous place for ”intellectuals” and ”artists” that give a sophisticated yet a very normal flare to the place.” What is even greater is that the food was far beyond my expectations, haven been there 15 years earlier. It is a classical Finnish kitchen with French influence that was common in”old days”. Had my snails with a twist adding one of the most appreciated Peltola blue cheeses from Finland. Don’t count calories and dip the bred! Followed by pan fried liver with smashed potatoes and the typical lingonberry jam. Amazing. The dessert follows the artistic line and was called ”Flickan” ie ”the girl” after many of the original paintings decorating the walls. Simple and delicious and will tell no more. For the wines…fairly good but know that Finland is not cheap so take the better once…it only hurts once. The Amarone was excellent. Highly recommend and nicely open on a Sunday for especially dinner when most sadly are closed in Helsinki…..and a quite full indeed with good atmosphere.

Came here to eat. The food was really good, flavourful, rich and well done. Especially the fish was really, really good. The server was really nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was superb.

the 5/5 is very relative, i like the oldschool atmosphere and the feel of the old restaurant. chance to bump into local celebrities from culture & politics. food arrives quickly and is good. wine selection is nice as well. summertime there’s an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy same wines & drinks as inside the restaurant.
Antti K — Google review
The terrace is hands down the best part of this place, such a great vibe, especially in the summer. Super cozy and atmospheric. The food though... kind of underwhelming, especially considering the price.

Fantastic birthday dinner with Pike Wallenberg, fried fish and more. Lovely room, plenty of drinks to select, a special occasion visit.
David K — Google review
Had a lunch here today, we ordered Salmon soup, beefsteak and my favourite herring with cream brûlée and ice cream with coffee for dessert. Trust your instincts when it comes to your choice, this is absolutely 💯 recommended place to go! (I didn't get a chance to take a photos coz I forgot my phone in the hotel where we stayed).
Heidi — Google review
What a lovely visit in one of the classic restaurant in Helsinki. Artist restaurant with it's own special atmosphere didn't betray this time either. Excellent service, delicious food and drinks, what can I say? 10 points!
Sirkku P — Google review
Dinner was quite nice, the staff was friendly and food was good. I got the Artist’s menu with meat, the soup was a little bit spicy but good, the main course was tasteful and the creme brule was nice but a tad bit too sweet. However the atmosphere was nice and our server turned out to be Estonian as well so that was a lovely surprise!

Restaurant HOKU offers upscale Asian-Hawaiian cuisine in a chic and light-filled setting with city views. It is particularly popular during lunchtime, offering gourmet Hawaiian dishes such as Okonomiyaki, Seafood & Lup Cheong Stuffed Kuha, and Salmon Teriyaki. The restaurant's moody decor complements the exotic flavors of its delicately crafted food. Signature dishes like the teriyaki salmon and tiger shrimp are highly recommended.
This is probably my favorite Asian fusion restaurant in Helsinki. If I could give more stars, I would. I love their lunch options and dine here at least once a week (more if I get to decide every time!). It’s also a perfect place for a date and I have had many occasions celebrated here with my spouse, their view is gorgeous and helps with the atmosphere. Their servers are also lovely, and of course, the food is just divine. I highly recommend their tuna katsu and beef teriyaki, but I don’t think you’ll regret deciding practically anything on their menu.

I had a Tofu Teriyaki vegetarian dish and it was really great! I loved the flavors. Prompt service and food comes out without delay. It is a great place for lunch or dinner in Kamppi Helsinki city center.

Found this little gem on top floor of Kampii Helsinki. Didn’t expect this quality of amazing Japanese food, wonderful service and great views across Helsinki! Highly recommend this restaurant for Japanese food with a lovely twist. The Okonomiyaki was a wonderful surprise! Better than I’ve ever had before!
Bambi M — Google review
My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hoku restaurant and must say, it was a delightful experience. The staffs were super nice. The food was great. I opted for some of the seafood options, and I really enjoyed them. What truly impressed us was the vegan options on the menu. As a non-vegan, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I must say, the vegan dishes surpassed all expectations. In fact, my vegan friend couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was – high praise indeed!
Bonny H — Google review
We went here for lunch with my dad and here are our thoughts. The lunch menu had a variety of options, including vegetarian ones. We ordered the teriyaki tofu and beef. I would say the dishes were definitely not authentic, rather Asian inspired, but I’m not usually bothered by such things. For me the tofu was otherwise good, however it did taste quite burnt on top which I did not like. There was also way too much sauce in the dish (my dad said the same about the teriyaki beef). Overall a good place for lunch despite not being perfect:).
Seela V — Google review
Very good restaurant at the top of Kamppi center. Service was incredible and attitude excellent. Presentation of the food is best that Helsinki offers. I would go again, fits well for a date of business occasion. Tea brought back memories from Japan and other best Asian restaurants around the world. Pork was good, but fish was even better. Definitely good kitchen! Time well spent☺️

Best Asian fusion kitchen in Helsinki! Lovely service and atmosphere and the food is awesome! Especially the salmon teriyaki is divine!

This place offers probably one of the best culinary experiences in Helsinki. Its menu is based on a fusion of Asian/Japanese and Hawaiian flavours. The food is tasty, delicious, and flavoursome. The staff was kind and friendly. We were there on Monday evening and the place was very busy. We were lucky to get a spot, but it is probably best to book in advance

visited at 09:50 on tuesday morning. i ordered the breakfast combo (“COMBO OF THE WEEK”). i’m new to helsinki (traveling), so i’m gonna write detailed process here for others like me. you order at the front, the smoothie bowl and a shot of ginger juice(?) are served on the black and white marimekko-esque plate right away. the combo comes with an avocado toast, and i added a poached egg. it’s served to you to your seat. the coffee, cutlery, and napkins are self service at the station on the left side. the smoothie bowl was good. it was mostly banana from what i could tell, but the homepage it listed last. (the smoothie is “HILBERT THE HIPPIE” and it’s “Sea buckthorn, mango, banana”) the avocado toast was crunchy on the outer edge and soft/mushy on the center. i guess probably avocado was sitting on the toast for a while. i assume it’s to make the making process fast and efficient in the kitchen, but it might have had better texture if it was prepared when it’s ordered. that’s the reason i knocked one star off. the egg was poached just right to my taste. the atmosphere was pleasant, the seats were only sparsely occupied because the lunch hour(11-14) had not started yet. i could take a peek at a lovely and majestic dalmatian, because people can bring their pets inside.

Came for a brunch date with my grandma and we were pleased with the experience! Food was really good, and I have to highlight the way the dishes and plates were all beautifully color coded. The staff were friendly and the Fredrikintori terrace was as lovely as ever. The tables were quite dirty when we came, but they did tidy them up soon enough. The only little minus I have comes from the coffee, since I had to explain what a cortado was, and they did not have a professional espresso machine. However, would definitely visit again!

Great find in Helsinki if you're a vegetarian or just want to eat more vegetables and healthy meals (they also offer chicken for example). Very good prices as well (15 euro for a meal).

In August 2025, I visited 5 countries alongside my vegan friend, and we found some incredible spots! Even though I’m not vegan, I keep an open mind. We stumbled upon this place, which happened to be vegan. I had the Thai dish, which was tasty!

I was a bit worried about finding good vegetarian food in Finland, but so far Helsinki does not disappoint. The Buddha bowl with a side of halloumi was by far one of the best bowls I’ve had, period!

The coffees are made in a Bean-to-cup machine and charged at €4.50/coffee. The porridge was inedible and tasted like gruel despite being dressed up with fun bits. That being said, the staff are very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

It's known for its well-crafted 4-course meals and a delightful selection of drinks at the bar. The classic croque monsieur from the hors d'oeuvre menu is highly recommended. The restaurant boasts lovely interior and exterior decor, although some patrons found the service a bit clumsy.
I always love coming back here no matter how many times I visit, it never gets old. This time, we went for the 3 course lunch menu, and as always, it completely satisfied me in every way. From the presentation to the flavors, every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and full of character. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed, quality meal. It’s one of those rare spots that consistently delivers an experience that keeps you wanting to return again and again.

Visited Bardot with my son and friends on a beautiful Saturday evening this Summer! Excellent food, superb location, friendly and knowledgeable staff with lots of wine! Wine selection is excellent and you can also ask to get pairing suggestions for your food. This is not the cheapest but guaranteed quality food in the heart of Helsinki.

The food and the service are truly amazing. We started with the Rockefeller oysters along with chips, and both were absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our mains, we had the entrecôte and the steak au poivre, and they were cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients really shines through, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, making the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening or a special occasion.

Upon arrival, we waited for about an hour before we were able to order drinks. Soon after, we found out that the dishes we had planned to order were not available. The main course we did receive was so overly salted that it was impossible to eat (I usually enjoy quite salty food, but even for me, it was too much). My companion left their main course uneaten. We were disappointed with the food, and the service was also slow.

Cutest little bistro with the BEST chocolate mousse. Strongly recommend! If you can please take a peak inside, the decor looks great

Nice recommendations of Bone Marrow dish and soft shell crab waffle entreés which we are less used to eat, which were delicious. Their steak with pepper sauce and outstandingly great lobster pasta with umami lobster brain juice is absolutely phenomenal 🙌🏻✌🏻

Classic French style, great wine list! Friendly service a bit pricy but worth to go and try at least once!

Bardot fully deserves its Michelin 2024 status. The setting is charming, calm, and in easy walking distance to the piers and main sightseeing areas. Our meal here highlighted the local fish, but the profiteroles with comte stole the show. We enjoyed the dishes and the excellent service throughout, and we would eagerly return when in Helsinki again.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Helsinki, Peking House offers an authentic culinary adventure that transports diners straight to China. This beloved establishment is particularly famous for its expertly crafted Peking duck, alongside a diverse menu filled with traditional Chinese dishes. Guests rave about the delightful flavors and generous portions, making it a top choice for those craving genuine Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere exudes warmth and authenticity, enhanced by friendly staff who are attentive and eager to ensure a memorable dining experience.
My wife and I decided to try their food and it was so good! I ordered Cantonese Sweet and Sour Chicken and my wife ordered Chop Suey. I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in Helsinki. I definitely recommend this place! The service was great. The servers came around often to refill our waters and were very polite. I can’t wait to go again!

A legendary Chinese restaurant in the heart of Vallila / Kallio area. Known for its excellent food and always kind and hospitable service. Amazing place! My favorite dish is tofu pinapple paired with the delicious deep-fried banana with ice cream.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Beautiful Chinese style interior and great service. Homemade chill sauce on the table is very spicy and worth a try! Many vegetarian dishes. It looks like closed from outside but it is often open.

Fast and friendly service. A lot of flavors and good size portions. Really authentic feel and vibes. They even have own etiquette on the beer from Stadin Panimo. Spring roll is probably the best in town. Waitresses are bound to lift your spirits, with their bubbly presence and professionalism.

We were glad to be hosted by the amazing 42 year old Chinese restaurant with very tasty and amazing food. Services and environment It’s a 1000% . Mind you the food is too much 😅
Kidd K — Google review
Food took a long time since they wanted to bring all dishes at the same time. Deep fried chicken was soggy because of that. Water was not free.
Henry — Google review
I have tried this place maybe a year or 2 ago and the experience was nice with tasty food and good portion size. However, yesterday we went again and the experience was just horrible. The food taste was really bad. The chicken dish was like you are eating coating with no chicken and the sauce tastes like just ketchup! The meat dish was below the average and just filled with vegetables and you can barely find meat! I don't recommend this place as its quality downgraded badly. What more interesting was the charge for water-filled jar, I have been living long enough in Finland and honestly I have never been in a restaurant where the charge for tap water! So unfortunate that management of the restaurant did all of these mistakes and damaged the food quality and experience!

Always great! But order only from the chef's menu. Spicy sichuan beef, kenraali tsaon kana/ anis kana, spicy cucumber.. Plus a spring roll is a must. The flavours are great, remember to ask for spicy or very spicy if you like it hot. They have also their own beer! Service is superb!

Nestled in the vibrant Ruoholahti district of Helsinki, Restaurant Be My Guest has been delighting diners with authentic Vietnamese cuisine since 2019. This charming eatery offers a cozy living room vibe, perfect for enjoying fresh and healthy meals at lunch or dinner. Their menu features an array of dishes from flavorful pho and delectable dumplings to unique drinks that elevate the Asian culinary experience in the city.
Ate! The duck meat was so good especially with their ginger sauce. Our starters was seafood spring rolls and dumplings, love it! I couldn’t find anywhere in Helsinki which impressed me better than this place’s food. Recommend! Book table first, we had to wait for almost 15m. 👍🏻
Tam D — Google review
The pho was unlike any I have had before, very flavorful, I liked the spicy meat. I thought the little desert bowl was also a nice touch.
Beyond F — Google review
Tried the new sharing platter they had on offer from their new season menu. They took the best parts of their menu and put them together on one platter for sharing. So fresh and flavourful and just the right amount of spice. They even brought out more if we were ‘not full enough’ which is rare when ordering patters in other restaurants; Usually what you get on one platter is it. Be My Guest went over and above to ensure we had more than enough. Hope the pictures give a good enough view of how delicious this was.
Laura G — Google review
We had a girls’ night dinner at Be my Guest and it was so good! None of us had been to the restaurant before, but all 4 of us agreed it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the mocktails were perfect and the service was so friendly and warm. I will definitely go back the next time I visit Helsinki!

Had the Pho Fighter with chicken for lunch, which tasted quite strange and nothing comparable with the ones offered by Pho Viet or Que Em.
Fei — Google review
I loved the place, the place is nice and cozy, the portion sizes are good, food is tasty and the price is also good. There is also complimentary salad bar and tea and coffee during lunch hours. Enjoyed being here, would definitely visit again.
Nirab P — Google review
The one thing Helsinki has an abundance of - great asian restaurants. This said, Be My Guest felt very much like a lunch operation with the condiments and water station still laid out in the evening. Serving starter and main within seconds of eachother is not ideal of course and kind of made me regret ordering a starter in the first place. Singapore noodles drowned in sauce to the point it was hard to judge whether the dish was intended as a soup or a stir-fry. Regardless the end result was noodles who quickly became overcooked and soggy. Too bad, because the chicken was beautifully seasoned and overall very tasty. I would expect this place to be a great lunch spot!
Fredric S — Google review
Decent food and friendly staff. I like the baguette crust - it resembles banh mi in Vietnam pretty well. The filling is not impressive but worth giving it a try. The salad is ok, I prefer more flavour and spices. The fried chicken was quite good, just a bit salty and sour for me. It could be served with rice or more salad to balance the flavour. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, I like the decoration.

Great food, the lunch menu is quite bang for buck if you’re into fine dining (lite version). Exquisitely made dishes that will fill you up to. Service is also impeccable! We were sharing food and swapping plates and that did not escape the eyes of our wait staff. She even made sure to check with us that she was serving the right dishes to the right person 💕💕💕 so much attention to detail! We opt for the top-up aged steak and that was brilliant! The cherry chocolate mouse was also amazing. We had a small hiccup with the bill but it was quickly resolved. Which also caused me to forget something at the restaurant 🙈 and the staff there were super helpful in helping me locate the item and I was able to pick it up later that day!

Savoy Café ☕️ Coffee — tasty, atmosphere — nice, overall everything’s good… But hey team, don’t forget to smile! Service is “technically fine”, but it’s the warmth that makes the difference. Still, definitely worth a stop for a quality cup of coffee.

I had the lobster linguine and it was absolutely delightful. The lobster was fresh and tender, paired with perfectly cooked linguine in a sauce that was creamy yet beautifully balanced — rich without being overwhelming. The staff recommended a glass of Pouilly-Fumé to go with it, and it turned out to be a perfect match. The overall setting is elegant and relaxed.

The place was truly elegant and peaceful, with no distracting noise. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere carried a sense of prestige. We enjoyed a four-course meal accompanied by cocktail wines and dessert wines, and everything was matched and paired perfectly. A wonderful bistro, with delicious dishes and a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. It was quite busy, yet we enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful all the time! Writing this as a native finn and Helsinki born individual. Really nice relaxed fine dining place. Located in a perfect spot by the legendary Esplanade Park. Big windows for you to watch the lively heart of the city. Were here with wife and 10 year old Child. Child had Gnocchies and chocolate mousse. We had the 4 course menu. Especially the white aspargus risotto blew our minds. Loved also the octopuss. Desserts were excellent. Staff was kind, authentic and warm hearted. Totally recommend this to any local or tourist. A beautiful restaurant offering very authentic Chinese noodle dishes. We like the decor and atmosphere. The owner, Mr Huang, made efforts to meet our needs, have our dinners there a couple of times while staying in Helsinki, two thumbs up 👍

We walked into this restaurant hoping we'd have a good warm soup/stew on a cold day. All I can say is that it was the best decision we made. The food was extraordinarily tasty. The menu is quite short but there's enough variety as all main dishes can be ordered with a different sources of protein (beef, shrimp, chicken, tofu, pork). Some dishes also come in 3 different spice levels. We had the 2/3 spiciness level and it was more than enough. The restaurant is rather small but the service is really quick. Our waiters were really friendly. Water in a jug was on the house.

Review based on one visit. Absolutely amazing place! The food at Noodle Master is delicious, fresh, and served super fast. The portions are generous, so you definitely leave full and satisfied. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The staff is genuinely kind and caring. You really feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. One of the best casual dining spots in Helsinki. Highly recommended!

Amazing handpulled noodle place in Helsinki! Delicious flavor, friendly service, big portion price/quantity/quality ratio is great! The fried dry noodle was the best! The dumplings were delicious too. If you can handle spicy food well, I’d suggest getting the level 3 spiciness. It’s not too spicy that you’d sweat even though it’s the most spicy level. Would come again when we visit Helsinki next time.

My first decent meal in finland! Everything was delicious, tasty, hot and fresh! Highly recommend! The pho broth was perfectly balanced! Thank you!
Joe S — Google review
Great atmosphere, service and noodles 🍜 My dish was the braised beef noodle soup. The broth was flavourful, the noodles were soft yet not overcooked. I chose the rice noodles as a gluten free option. And the beef was soft as well as the proper beef type for the dish. My friends had the DanDan dish with pork with the regular egg noodles. Which was also very tasty and rich. We orderd various side dishes and my faves were the cucumber with chilli oil, and the black fungus. The ambience of the Restaurant is inviting, colorful. With mural paintings in the walls and interesting decor details. It has become now one of my favourite places to go to for a delicious noodle soup meal.

If you're a fan of Thai food, Thai Vegan Kitchen is worth checking out. The dishes are hearty and spicy, but can be a bit bland for those looking for more intense flavors. The restaurant has friendly staff and nicely decorated surroundings. Delivery options are available at times, making it convenient for busy diners.
Super duper hot!!!! Portions and flavours 😍😍😍😍beats most vegan and non vegan restaurants. We were a group of 3, and we all loved our own meals. 💯 Recommend! Cons- i didn’t like their blue ice tea so much, on the other hand my friend loved her blue (i think milk based) drink 🤭 Note: they charge extra for take away boxes (.5 or 1 💶

Very good food, many options! The presentation of the food was really pretty. I loved the mango milkshake. The atmosphere is not very special and we had to wait a bit long after ordering.
Jade T — Google review
FINALLY a Thai restaurant that is entirely vegan, and mostly gluten-free too! It’s been a lot of travelling to find a place like this - I’ve always wondered why a foodpreneur hadn’t thought of a vegan Thai restaurant yet, but they have, and what’s more, there are two such in Helsinki, Finland’s capital. The restaurant ambience could perhaps best be described as ‘homely’ or ‘cosy’. The tables are small, and on a Sunday evening, nearly always full, a sign that word has gotten around about the good food this place serves. I decided to get adventurous and bypass the red and green curry, and even the Tom Kha soup and raw papaya salad, for a Northern Thai (also Burmese) noodle soup dish - Khao Suey. The portion was generous, and I also saw an ample sized portion of red curry at the table next to mine. Recommended, but come early so you get a table!

Delicious food. Restaurant Thai vegan kitchen is doing a great job. They make everything fresh which makes it even better. The wait times are longer for that reason but it is worth the wait. Tip: Dine in is faster than take out. It is always busy with people dining in there. Limited space so plan in advance

I'd love to give 6 stars for food 😍 what a nice, wholesome and crazily delicious treat. The "not quiet pork" Nam Tok Muu I had just blew me away. Also, perfect level of spiciness for me. Lovely vibe to it as well, self-service water, tea and coffee 🤯😍

Had late dinner there, we chose this restaurant because other restaurants were closed at 9pm. The decorations were quite special there and the seats were comfy. Got pho, noodle salad, chicken wings and summer roll. All very nice, the pho was little too salty tho. The portions were generous. Friendly service.

By far the freshest and tastiest meal I've had in a long long time! The shanghai taco was amazing! Perfect portion size and the balance of flavours were perfection! The skewers were delicious and again perfectly balanced flavours as were the spring roll. The salad was so so fresh and really lightened up the meal. Your use of fish sauce is perfect! Thank you!
Joe S — Google review
Food was mediocre flavor wise. All around underwhelming. I wanted to love it because the staff is so nice but I didn’t. -The papaya salad was very bland, not citrusy, not spicy. -The pork dim sum was ok. -The Korean lettuce tacos were… not Korean, not even Asian. Chicken chunks with way too much mayo on top of rice with a garnish of bean sprouts and crumbled seaweed. The avocado slice made me think California. If there wasn’t a lime wedge for each and sriracha sauce i wouldn’t have finished. The phó was bland, nice amount of pork belly (which was tasty and the only redeeming factor), way too little broth. And don’t bother with the jugs of booze. Too tiny and full of ice for the price.
The S — Google review
I liked its funky interior design and the nice staff. The taco was amazing although it was hard to grab and eat. As a Korean, I found the concept of Korean style wrap a bit hilarious because we don't have such food but considering that it's a fusion restaurant, It's okay

Very nice place for a quick casual Vietnamese inspired Asian fusion meal. Love the casual funky and laid back interior. The pink colours, floral neons on the cushions and casual attire of waiters makes it a good option for an ‘after work’ or a grabbing a quick bite option during the weekend. I got the Korean Super Bowl with seafood and some pork dim sums as a starter. Everything was nice, well presented and perfectly spiced. There were a few errors with orders for a big group but this was swiftly rectified. Highly recommend for foodies and people grabbing a light bite with the fun atmosphere. Went again and good service. They provide nice service for a cozy date atmosphere with the sofa seating.
