Paula who assisted me this morning was beyond sweet and incredibly helpful. I asked for vegan options, and she personally walked me around the store showing me everything from chocolate and jelly beans to pastries, sandwiches, and cake. Please note that they do not carry oat milk version of Karl Fazer chocolatees. I came in around 1000 in the morning, and it wasn’t crowded at all. The flagship store is absolutely beautiful. I had a coffee with soy milk that was delicious, and I enjoyed sitting outside while I peoole watched. CC accepted

Enjoyed this historic Finnish cafe for both breakfast and late afternoon snack. The memory of Geisha coffee and chocolates made us return. We enjoyed the pastries, ice cream and the candy and chocolate store that fulfilled our needs for Finnish gifts for our return home. Also great people (and dog) watching spot. Clean bathroom downstairs.

Located in the center of the city this is the center for sweets and Good Sandwiches. The art deco style together with unforgettable sweets guarantees a memorable visit.

Fazer is the oldest café in Helsinki, so we wanted to experience it at this branch. The desserts were really good — we loved them both in terms of presentation and taste. Dessert prices range between 7 and 9 euros. In addition to the dining area, they also offer packaged chocolates.

I fall in love twice in this city. First I fall in love with the cakes here. It's beautiful and choclatey. And second I fell in love with this girl that I went the whole country with. I can't just get rid of these feelings until now.

I enjoy a great Latte, I am a HUGE espresso lover. The presentation of pastries were very enticing. So we decided to try both sweet and savory, paired with lattes. The prices were moderate, but truthfully just a bit on the pricey side if I were to be totally honest. To balance the price you're paying; the quality of the food was excellent. The bakery is on the smaller side, and was very crowded when we arrived. We found a space near the window and awaited or food. The presentation and taste was divine, and the lattes were PERFECT. The only down side is that it can get very crowded and it is not a spacious vibe, like the beauty of Heritage Cafe, but it is it's own jewel of a quaint spot for a quick latte and top tier pastry.

Cute little cafe! A must-visit if you’re in Helsinki. Coffee was decent, beautiful minimalist interior, and the pastries are serve on a pottery plate. The hazelnut fig cake is delicious 😋 friendly barista too!

Cozy little place with breakfast options, baked goods and other desserts. Loved the interior. There are several seats inside and plenty more outside, with heaters to keep you warm. My only feedback is that I wished the pastry of the sausage roll was warmer and crispier. The roll was kind of cold and the pastry was soggy. Perhaps it's just a personal preference. I still enjoyed it despite that and would come back here to try other things in the future.

Lovely cafe and bakery in the Kallio neighborhood. Beautiful pastries and delicious coffee. We were lucky to visit on a sunny Sunday morning and were able to sit outside. It is a five minute walk from our accommodation at CityBox Helsinki. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Delicious desserts and excellent service. Beware: They were so good, we ended up ordering another round of desserts! We also had iced coffee (which was so refreshing!) though it’s not shown in the pictures.

Had a great lunch here. Superb salad table. Bufe for meats. The meatballs were really good. Desert pancakes are good but nothing special. It's a big place and noisy during rush hours. I went there for brunch also. Around 30 € per person. Probably one of the best brunches in Helsinki. Great salad selection. Warm dishes were just omelet and bacon. They do not have any special coffee which is weird. For a 7 € a glass you can get sparkling that is nice.

I came here for the 14.5 buffet lunch, extremely good value for the centre of Helsinki, same price as the outside market stall, but you got to sample more different food in a comfortable environment, with soup, bread, buffet hot food, salad bar and coffee. Today's special was salmon soup, great to try out the national dish of Finland. Special shout-out to the salad bar, very boogie, huge varieties and choices, so perfect for vegans as well. The team was also super friendly!

Meh. Based on the menu I thought the brunch would have been good for a non-dairy & gluten-free customer. It was not terrible, but for the actual selection offered, it seemed terribly overpriced. Many of the dishes lacked signage of the allergens, and due to the lack of staff around, it was too bothersome to try to figure out what ingredients the dishes did or did not include. I think some options might have been available upon request – such as gluten-free bread – but when you have no one to request it from (or have to chase the staff for 10 minutes) it’s not truly an option. To sum up: the menu looks inclusive, but in reality, it’s not. Probably a lovely place for people with no allergies and food intolerances, however.

The atmosphere was laid back, the food was great with a good amount of vegan stuff and the service was nice. We had a blast! Only dowside was the lack for a rest room for taking care of babies.

Helsinki can be expensive so it’s great to find a reasonably priced lunch option so close to the centre. It’s a buffet with a few hot dishes and great salads in a light and airy space next to the harbour.

It is expensive. Americsni 5.20, the famaus dessert 9.90. The buffet in the weekdays is more affordable and you can refill your table&coffee. They can give you an hour if you came without reservation. I came here sunday 11:30 and it was really bussy inside. But they are saying that your order will be in 15 min. So it is good to be informed.

Oldest Bakery in Helsinki. We decided to start our day here for breakfast and experience the oldest cafe. During the week breakfast is a buffet.. a very good buffet at that. We did also order a cinnamon bun as well and it was awesome. Staff were so cute and lovely. The atmosphere felt modern but also historic. We enjoyed our breakfast here. I have heard there is long lines for the bakery but we were here really early and not in high season so there were no crowds. You can make reservations for breakfast.

Staff helped me to choose the cake. I had budapest cake. It was softer and smoother with mandarin inside. Coffee could be improved.I added open buffet pictures as well.

Absolute must-visit if you love cafés. This one has gorgeous interior, amazing staff and the best sweets. The cinnamon bun I had was huge, full of spices and butter. Many people here argue that it is too expensive but we spent 30 euros incl. the tip and I would pay even more for this experience.

Had a delicious bowl of smoked reindeer soup with bread, a cake and tea for about 30 euros. The food was great but I do think it's a bit pricey.

Visiting Helsinki for the first time and a friend recommended Ekberg right away to get a taste of a classic Helsinki foods. Weather was lovely so we sat outside. I tried the salmon soup which was really nice and a cup of cappuccino. Everything was perfect. Staff were friendly and service was great.

A Hidden Gem in Helsinki! We’ve tried several pastries at Tin Tin, both sweet and savory, and they’ve all been fresh, scrumptious, and beautifully made. The coffee is fantastic too! The staff are super friendly, and the Parisian-style music and ambiance make the whole experience extra charming. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a coffee break. Highly recommend! One of my favorite cafés in Helsinki! Tintin Tango charms with its friendly staff and cozy, peaceful atmosphere. If you want to avoid the crowds and lines, it’s best to go early. And if you miss the breakfast, you can always drop by later for a glass of wine. A versatile and relaxed spot for any time of the day.

An intriguing name which perhaps unites the owner’s disparate passions? There is Tin Tin memorabilia on the walls and a traditional tango was playing in the background while I was there. I had a superb flat white so was more than happy to come across this place.

Great place for breakfast (and more) in Töölö area! Heard about this place from another local and can only reconfirm what he said, it's a bit of an institution at Töölö square since 1990s. Breakfast offering is great and menus are honest, you get easily full on a medium sized already. Bread was very fresh and warm when served, all other ingredients are good and taste fresh too. A big big plus is that when ordering menu it's served to the table. Overall friendly atmosphere and staff. Definitely worth to return to this place! I've given a 5 due to genuinity, but even considering interior is not tip top it's easily a 4.5 worth.

Excellent food and drinks. I loved the outside terrace, the spaces inside were great and customer service was on point. The only bad thing is that there are not many power outlets inside the cafe, so if you want to work with a laptop there is only a few tables you can do it.

We were a group of nine people in a cabinet. We were treated as the best customers. Service was well adjusted to our own program. Food was very good, as well as the cocktails and wines. (Maybe a bit too high multiplier in the price of wines). Absolutely warmly recommended.

The starter with white fish and hummus was enjoyable, and the bread was excellent (though pricey at €12 per loaf). Unfortunately, the main dish — salmon on a tomato sauce — was bland and lacked balance. What left a particularly bad impression was the service: when purchasing the bread, the waitress added a tip by default. For simply handing me an already overpriced loaf, I struggle to see what value was added. Overall it is too expensive for the experience.

Just a great place! The venue it self looks amazing. Food and service is outstanding. One of my favorite places in Helsinki and this is actually one of my neighborhood restaurants. A choice of food was very limited. They cooked salmon with tomatoes and mustard, which taste strange. But most importantly, they tried to bill 30% extra for a glass of wine than it was priced in a menu.

A great new neighbourhood restaurant. Amazingly delicious food accompanied by high-quality matching wines and sympathetic service. I almost fainted when tasted the truffle risotto. There are no words to describe the perfection. Also the vegetarian starters were excellent, as was the “meat of the day” i.e. duck in cherry sauce. The pistachio tiramisu was a perfect ending. Only the beef tartar was a disappointment, clearly missing some flavour. The waiter had trouble pouring the right amount of wine for both of us, which should not happen in a fine restaurant. Also the pace of service was a bit too fast for my taste: six courses in two hours. I would prefer to enjoy a fine dinner without any feeling of rush, and feel the amazing flavours in my mouth for a while before the next course arrives.

Trendy, upcoming and urban area. Finest in the neighborhood. Fabulous vibe and atmosphere. Classic tastes meets urban setting. Portions were generous and menu has nice combinations of flavors. Wine package was okay. Above expectations were: burrata, mint and pea risotto, stake sauce. Allergies were well accommodated. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and noted special occasion.

Had to pay a visit at lunchtime to test the new Summer menu and as per usual, Levain did not disappoint! The atmosphere is unique and the menus offer a wide range of both all-day breakfast and lunch dishes along with the sweets and drinks. We ordered two fresh Summer salads, one with cold smoked salmon and one plain, accompanied by an oat cappuccino. Really tasty! The staff was kind to explain us how the ordering process works the first thing we entered, even without us asking. The customer’s toilet had run out of soap and was not the tidiest I’ve seen, but otherwise an excellent experience! <3

One of the better brunch spots I went to in Helsinki! They have delicious brunch options, pastries, and specialty coffee. It’s everything I would ever want for a nice, weekend brunch. I had the Eggs Norwegian, a Flat White, and an Almond Croissant. Everything was really good and I was very pleased with the quality of the food.

Lovely egg sandwich. Had the menu with egg sandwich, müsli, nuts and yogurt, juice and coffee. 21€. Asked for cappuccino instead of filtered coffee, had to pay an extra euro for that. I total 44€ for two. A wonderful brunch, just a little too salty from time to time. Very friendly staff. You have to order and pay at the counter. Water, cutlery, napkins are provided. You just have to get them yourself. We will definitely return! 👍🏼☺️

Was visiting the rock church, however as the Church did not open until 10am, we decided tk fo in for a quick drink. Ordered the hot chocolate and the matcha latte. The hot chocolate was great and not tok sweet and the matcha latte actually tasted like great quality ceremonial grade matcha. The latte was rich and well balanced. Customer service was wonderful and friendly and this cafe is located just down the street from the rock church (probably a 30 second walk).

If you come to Helsinki and have no idea where to go, then I would happily suggest Café Engel ! Close to the Cathedral, it's a lovely little place, with delicious food - and I have gone multiple times with friends. I would also heartily recommend their salmon soup, my personal fave !

Our first stop after arriving in Helsinki, Café Engel was the perfect place for a tired traveler. The ambiance is calm, airy, and welcoming, making it easy to relax after a journey. We tried the salmon soup, which was warming and flavorful, the meatballs with mashed potatoes, hearty and comforting, and a side of fresh berries, which added a nice light touch. Everything was fresh and satisfying, and the atmosphere made it a great way to kick off our time in the city. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, or just a restorative break after travel.

I had reindeer meat and mashed potatoes with sparkling water. It was fresh but for first try it has different taste especially red berries. As a desert I had blueberry cake it was so delicious.

We visited Café Engel during a weekday lunch. Although the restaurant was quite busy, we managed to find seats without much difficulty. Orders were placed through the waitress, and I chose the meatballs. The food was served promptly, and the meatballs were decent. However, I wished there had been more sauce to accompany the mashed potatoes for a more satisfying balance of flavours.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating, seeing we don’t speak Finnish. My husband said it was the best chai latte he ever had and their pastries were also very good! Would recommend. It also on a lovely street full of pretty buildings and stores.

We only stopped in here for coffee but I ended up having a beer with a reindeer quiche. It was so good so I had to get another. My friend got a coffee and said that was good. The place was pretty busy which is always a good sign and the staff were very friendly. Nice little find off the beaten track.

It was recommended to come here for the cinnamon buns as they are massive and delicious! I definitely think you should check it out. Rough a 15 minute walk from the old market hall and it gets you away from the hustle and bustle tourist area!

If you are here for coffee or cake, you might get disappointed, but instead, you can enjoy the vibe and interior. At least I can feel the care and dedication into the cafe of the owner. I like all the details the cafe has. Sincerely hope that the quality of coffee and cake can be improved, but indeed, with this price range in Helsinki, hardly anything to complain.

Super cosy cafe with slightly higher prices for the area. Staff is good and they have a cool hiring policy :) Internet definitely could be faster, but there are enough places to charge your devices and places to seat comfortably. Dreaming of their brunch right now. We went in for coffee not really hungry and when I saw the brunch buffet table I couldn’t help myself. For US standards it was a bit pricey but was totally worth it. Loved how fresh the food was. Enjoyed their unique to me way of serving eggs as a sort of crust-less quiche with carrots and herbs. The space was really light, open and modern with plants. Loved the overall experience and highly recommend.

This small and cozy space offers delicious coffee. I recommend this place to have a moment of concentration to work. By the way, their playlist is nice with classic rock vibes.

Unfortunately the cafe had run out of sandwich options by 13:30 on a Saturday, which was about disappointing, and only had a few breakfast items remaining. There was also limited seating with an odd arrangement of tables. Nice to see the cafe is dog friendly though. The flat white was very good as was the chocolate banana bread. Also highly recommend the yoghurt and granola bowl.

A cozy spot in the neighborhood. I tried their weekend special banana bread, croissant, and flat white. I can say that the food was average. Enjoyable, but not somethind I'd go out of my way to have again. The coffee, on the other hand, was quite decent and pleasant.

One of the best specialty coffee spots I found in Helsinki. Great, light roast coffees with pleasant fruity notes and little bitterness. The barista works at the roastery so she knows the coffee details intimately and shared great descriptions and recommendations. She pulled perfect, flavor-balanced shots that shone through in plain espresso as well as in a cappuccino. They also offer a nice selection of vegan-friendly pastries and sandwiches. I really enjoyed their cinnamon bun—it was flavorful and not too sweet (I only wish they could warm it up before serving). Overall, lovely spot. It’s a bit out of the way as a tourist, but I’d still recommend stopping by if you can spare the time.

The place is very popular, so finding a seat can be challenging. Although the name suggests it’s a bakery, the pastries seem rather ordinary. They look good, but the taste is nothing special. The savory avocado sandwich was left uneaten because it had a bitter taste. Savory sandwiches would be better if they were grilled—without grilling, the bread is quite dense and not as enjoyable. The coffee comes with free refills, which is a nice touch. Overall, I’d rate it a 3.

The place was pretty empty and quiet when we went there. We got two pastries to-go. We didn’t have to wait long in line and the pastry selection was pretty wide. The prices were okay considering it’s in Helsinki. The taste was also quite good.

Don't be fooled from the outside, which looks very sterile and just attached to a fancy hotel. Step through the door, down the steps, through the glass doors and into a little gem. Its constantly busy and has a very vibrant/bustling but relaxed atmosphere. Around the corner you'll find an array of fresh bread sandwiches with allsorts of fillings, pastries (the cinnamon bun is gorgeous😉) and fancy cakes. There are a range of coffees and teas too. You can sit at a table or more comfy sofas. It has a lovely decor.

Had the seasonal bun which had raspberry jam and vanilla cream with cardamom. Just perfect with a silky macchiato enjoyed on the terrace area in front. Peaceful with beautiful views of the park opposite.

Great little bakery connected to the St George Hotel. Super comfortable dining area. Great coffee . I also enjoyed a scone - buttery and delicious with homemade jam. My son enjoyed the almond croissant.

What a disappointment! Breakfast eggs Benedict is one small bread with two eggs and two slices of bacon with dressing. This delicacy is 14 EUR! This doesn't include juice, coffee or anything else. Total robbery!

I came specifically for the salmon soup, and it turned out to be one of the best I had during my visit to Helsinki. It was fresh, simple, and had a light creamy texture that I really enjoyed. The place is located inside the market, which made it quite warm with limited airflow — not the most comfortable setting during summer. However, the tables were clean, and the service was friendly and efficient.

We went for lunch as a recommendation from our guide, we took the salamon soup and the grilled reindeer. First of all the portion size was big. The salamon soup was very delicious as well as the grilled reindeer will definitely go back again

Excellent customer service, super tasty salmon soup. I warmly recommend this place. Especially because nobody came to complain when I sat down with all our shopping bags while my husband dealt with the order. The dill oil is a nice addition to the salmon soup! Very democratic prices also.

Fish soup is quite watery, tables needs cleaning more often, coffee is quite bad (sweet even without sugar). Not sure it's good value for money compared to, say, Restaurant Fisken på Disken in Kamppi. The place is a bit over-hyped.

Stumbled on this resturant while looking for a lunch place. First the positives, . The ambience is inviting and pleasant, making it suitable for diffrent types of gatherings and meetings. I was with a friend and it was the ambience felt comfortable for conversation. It was clean and spacious and the decor is a beautiful and calming green theme. . The food was tasty and the lunch price was a the quality and portion. There's a salad buffet and soup, then your desired lunch dish (a selection of salads, burgers and single dishes), soda or still water and coffee or tea is also included, as well as dessert cookies. The beef burger was nt unique however it was tasty. The fries 🍟 were the best, thin and crunchy served with ketchup. Now the less positive, . The service. The table service can sure be enhanced. When we arrived the waitress dismissively just said to sit at a particular section selected for lunch time only. That makes sense except she just kept walking without guiding to any table. Even thought there's a sign saying "wait to be seated"! That was laughable. We chose a table where people had just left and needed to be cleaned. We had to approach the personnel to ask for it to be cleaned eventhough the same girl was standing looking around. For some reason they seemed more attentive to the other section, not the lunch reserved section. It seems forgotten that everyone was a customer, including those for the lunch time. This might be overall a nice place for evening drinks, especially when it's colder weather. I'd go back again for the lunch, but sure with lower expectations for the service.

Kiila is an atmospheric restaurant that seems to have everything for everyone. I ordered the vegan dish on the main course menu; it was tasty and beautiful-looking, but rather small compared to the animal-based alternatives that my family ordered. I enjoyed it either way, but would love to see more variety on the menu!

Woman at the entrance was in such a hurry that she rudely dismissed a group of 8 tourists. Clearly she is under stress and cannot handle the hustle and bustle. Very rude. She said ”look at the menu of course”, when I asked what she recommended. The place is super noisy, no acoustic deafening panels. The food was a uninspired, over done meat and tepid. The meat pile in the picture was overdone and hard to chew. The sauce is bland. The potatoes just as. I would not recommend this place, at least for lunch. Oh boy!

The restaurant is definitely welcoming — with a cozy atmosphere and polite, friendly staff. We ordered the €28 steak, expecting a high-quality and delicious main course, but instead received something that didn’t resemble a classic steak at all. It’s a real shame that the highlight of the evening turned out to be such a disappointment. On the positive side, the sparkling CAVA was truly excellent. We hope the restaurant pays more attention to the quality of the kitchen.

Very nice atmosphere. Good polite waitresses and the food quality price wise was godly good. 19e for steak and 20e for ceasar salad beata many restaurants in Helsinki even they charge double than Kiila. Thanks for the great service and good food. Will be back next time visiting Helsinki

Went here for a lunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and pleasant, but customers service is bad. I’ve been here few times, and those times I had a good interaction. This time during lunch, waitresses are not friendly at all, no smile in their face, seems like they are forced to work. Overall lunch was good, they have multiple options to choose from and salad to start with. Need to bring more friendly stuff, with some customer service skills✨

It is a nice cafe, location is good with plenty outdoor seating but overcrowded and nothing special about it other than free coffee refills. My favorite cafes so far are Kasinonranta in Lauttasaari and Café Merreneito in Matinlahdenranta

During our trip to Helsinki, we visited this wonderful restaurant located right by the sea. It’s conveniently accessible, with a Hop-On Hop-Off stop nearby. We opted for the brunch buffet, and it was absolutely delightful. Even our 1-year-old baby thoroughly enjoyed the food! Every penny we spent felt truly worth it. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making the experience even better. If I ever return to Helsinki, this place will definitely be on my list again.

Café Ursula is an absolutely wonderful spot right by the seaside in Finland. The snowy views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Perfect place to relax and enjoy - and the coffee is 10/10. 🌟

We were quite disappointed at the place considering that it had good reviews. It is conveniently close to the hop on hop off bus stop, and there is a nice view. Out of all the meals we had in Helsinki, this is a the bottom of the list. The bread was not fresh, overpriced for what we had.

Its hard to find good cappuccino in Helsinki, but this place came closest, it lacks a bit in wholeness of body taste, but latte art is nice and overall it did taste the best of what I tried here, so, if you dont mind to pay a bit more, this is a place for a decent coffee. Also view on the sea is beautiful and staff was all smile and very polite. Bonus is, that water is free afaik.

The cafe is the best in terms of location in Southern Finland. There are parking places 100 meters away from the Cafe. As a Cafe it's huge in size and contains capacity to seat inside and outside with a beautiful sea view. The Cafe desserts are moderate and up to the mark.

visited at 09:50 on tuesday morning. i ordered the breakfast combo (“COMBO OF THE WEEK”). i’m new to helsinki (traveling), so i’m gonna write detailed process here for others like me. you order at the front, the smoothie bowl and a shot of ginger juice(?) are served on the black and white marimekko-esque plate right away. the combo comes with an avocado toast, and i added a poached egg. it’s served to you to your seat. the coffee, cutlery, and napkins are self service at the station on the left side. the smoothie bowl was good. it was mostly banana from what i could tell, but the homepage it listed last. (the smoothie is “HILBERT THE HIPPIE” and it’s “Sea buckthorn, mango, banana”) the avocado toast was crunchy on the outer edge and soft/mushy on the center. i guess probably avocado was sitting on the toast for a while. i assume it’s to make the making process fast and efficient in the kitchen, but it might have had better texture if it was prepared when it’s ordered. that’s the reason i knocked one star off. the egg was poached just right to my taste. the atmosphere was pleasant, the seats were only sparsely occupied because the lunch hour(11-14) had not started yet. i could take a peek at a lovely and majestic dalmatian, because people can bring their pets inside.

Came for a brunch date with my grandma and we were pleased with the experience! Food was really good, and I have to highlight the way the dishes and plates were all beautifully color coded. The staff were friendly and the Fredrikintori terrace was as lovely as ever. The tables were quite dirty when we came, but they did tidy them up soon enough. The only little minus I have comes from the coffee, since I had to explain what a cortado was, and they did not have a professional espresso machine. However, would definitely visit again!

Great find in Helsinki if you're a vegetarian or just want to eat more vegetables and healthy meals (they also offer chicken for example). Very good prices as well (15 euro for a meal).

In August 2025, I visited 5 countries alongside my vegan friend, and we found some incredible spots! Even though I’m not vegan, I keep an open mind. We stumbled upon this place, which happened to be vegan. I had the Thai dish, which was tasty!

I was a bit worried about finding good vegetarian food in Finland, but so far Helsinki does not disappoint. The Buddha bowl with a side of halloumi was by far one of the best bowls I’ve had, period!

The coffees are made in a Bean-to-cup machine and charged at €4.50/coffee. The porridge was inedible and tasted like gruel despite being dressed up with fun bits. That being said, the staff are very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

We missed breakfast hours, but they had a good deal to choose 2 from sandwiches, chia puddings, smoothies etc. Food is tasty, the portions are a bit small. They offer free refill for coffee.

Didn’t have anything to eat, but La Torrefazione had the second best coffee I’ve had in Helsinki and they truly are for serious coffee lovers. It’s very near central Helsinki and the central train station and it’s the only specialty coffee you can get around the area (without walking too far). I highly recommend this shop for coffee lovers!

Went there for a quick lunch and was very pleased with everything. Super friendly staff and beautiful food. If you're not so hungry, then having a cup of coffee or a sandwhich are also great options. I ordered a beetroot-feta puree soup that was their lunch special offer and it was delicious. Even though the place is rather small, the interior feels quite spacious and cozy at the same time. Location is also very convenient.

Went there for weekend brunch and can totally recommend! Especially the cold selection - very nice smoked fish, skagen and salads. The atmosphere is nice and special and saw some people having birthday celebrations with family, so a nice special occasion option too.

I stopped by for Monday breakfast and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. The food was excellent especially the Karelian pies with egg spread and pickled onions, which were absolutely delicious. The drinks were refreshing, and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. had the chefs menu: the parsnip soup was gorgeous, super creamy and flavourful. the main course of mushroom rigatoni was underwhelming in my opinion, was dry and the mushrooms were pickled so the whole dish just tasted like pickles, very little mushroom flavour. the dessert of chocolate cake with apple ice cream was tasty but nothing special. crème brûlée was really nice though. overall, the highlights were the soup and bread & butter. the service was also impeccable!

Can not recommend this restaurant enough. The food is absolutely amazing. Full of flavor and prepared perfectly. Also they accommodate Gluten Allergies with Gluten Free options off their existing menu as well as providing separate Gluten free bread. If you have a gluten allergy, this should be on your list. First night in Helsinki I saw a review and gave Krog Roba a try. WOW! From the start to the end an absolutely amazing experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is clean and relaxed. The food is 5 stars! If you haven't been to Krog Roba, add it to your "must list".

Native finn living in helsinki. Visited due to business dinner. Whole course was pre selected and paid Ate 5 set course with wines. Only negative point in my opinion was that the red wine served with the main course(deer) which was bit on the light side for game. Everyhing else was well matched and tasty. The staff didn't interact too much and so didn't interrupt our discussions with our partners. Otherwise I would have preferred a bit more on that front, but this way all worked well. Overall a nice visit Thank you!

The brunch was such a great experience! Amazing variety of very tasty food. Many gluten free options. Also want to say thanks for vegetables! The only one tiny thing is that croissants were a little bit burnt 😅

This place’s baristas creates the best looking coffees I have experienced so far. It’s foamy, doesn’t get extremely hot and heated (you can drink right away without burning your throat) and the taste is well balanced, but packs with coffees aromatics and flavours. 1 | A roastery café right next to the Telakakatu tram stop. The oat flat white I had was good. 2 | They use beans from their own roastery. What’s in the grinder is written on a board above the counter. During our visit, they had Ethiopia and Kenya, and guests could choose. 3 | For some reason, I didn’t really like the vibe of the café. It wasn’t very cozy — maybe because of the size of the space, the loud music, the lighting, or how the chairs were arranged. Either way, I didn’t feel completely comfortable sitting there. I thought about taking off a star for that, but the staff were kind and made up for it. 4 | The café sells a wide variety of their roasted beans. They even have a takeaway window, so you can pretty much grab a coffee straight from the tram. 5 | To go with the coffee, they offer both sweet and savory pastries.

House blend is a dark roast (not my favourite) and therefore I picked the single origin. Milk is of the right temperature and texture. Tasty.

Friendly service and healthy portions best define this neighborhood breakfast spot. They offer a variety of eggs Benedict, pancakes, and coffee drinks. We arrived about 9 and there were very few people there. It was quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast is outstanding. Very authentic, tried two different egg meals. Both of them I will never forget. If it’s crowdy staff cannot keep up.

Please hire more people in this place!!! The food is amazing, the drinks as well, but there is always a line and a huge waiting time. The food was okay and warm, but the server seemed unaware of the need to keep the area tidy and clear dirty dishes immediately after guests left so new visitors could sit at a clean table. I don’t know If it’s the server’s role according to the place’s name but it felt like they were really lazy or deliberately slow. It was frustrating to see tables piled with dirty dishes throughout our stay, and when new guests arrived, they didn’t seem to know where to seat them because many tables were just left uncleared for over half an hour — quite an absurd situation.

The food arrived in 1 minute to us with the Chorizo Sriracha sauce benedict and smoked salmon egg bennie. I think they confused our and the another tables orders since the other table got their order 15 mins later and they were before us so poor them. But the pancakes arrived mich later after 20 mins after main dishes and that’s superior 🤤🥞 Best Helsinki’s breakfast place we have visited so far 😋🙌🏻

One of the best breakfast places in Helsinki but please note two things: 1- you have to to queue specially on Saturdays mornings so come with a relaxed attitude and not super hungry 2- order milk seperately with the filtered coffee because if they put the milk it is too much

It’s a cute spot for brunch, but I don’t think the prices match the quality of the food. The pancakes were slightly burned, and the portion of maple syrup was very small. The bacon wasn’t crispy, and while the hash browns and scrambled eggs were okay, nothing really stood out. Overall, a nice atmosphere but the food could definitely be better for the price.

Unsure what to think. It has a variety of options for lunch, and it is probably the only lounas place with this much variety in salad ingredients. You will even get dessert and coffee included in the price. Which makes it an affordable, all-inclusive, lunch. However, I feel like the seasoning was too strong and covered the flavours of the dish. Or sometimes one ingredient is too present. For instance, today they have roasted vegetables with garlic, but I got so much garlic that I couldn't tell if the dish was supposed to be "roasted garlic WITH vegetables" 😂 The sauce with the pork was very acidic in my opinion that I could barely taste the pork.

They play music so loud that you can sing along two storeys above them at night 12 o'clock. Some people are trying to sleep here...

This place I visited in high hopes of good lunch. Lunch was ok, place had good views and decent space, so if crowded... still have plenty of space to manoeuvre between tables. Only thing that was off...the place did not seem to be kept in any kind order. No one to clean the food table if food was dropped on table...bread was on the floor...no one cared. You actually had to say everything to the staff...even if water/coffee container was empty. Even the dish return was quite dirty. I would hope that manager would wake up and see this mess. Other than that...quite decent lunch in itself

Very good brunch for the price. Basic stuff like salads, potatoes, some meats, wings, waffles and a huge dessert table. For the price it was more than enough and quality was good. They even had super hot sauce, which is always a bonus.

Stopped in for a quick bite and drink. The pulled oats sandwich was excellent and the purple queen smoothie really topped it off.

Good quality vegan for breakfast or a light lunch. I had oat with fruit and berries and a small sandwich. I decided to eat there, the place is small and not really made for staying long. But the keeper was very nice and the music good.

A great place to stay, and would stay again! The staff were super helpful and really nice, making everything easy. The room was superb, clean and spacious with good facilities and the bed was very comfortable so I got really good sleep. It was quiet too, wasn't disturbed at all. It's very well situated - easy to get to and convenient for seeing the sights. There is a tram stop very near by, but a lot of the things I did were walkable. Good breakfast, and the hotel bar (Bar Runar) is great too - would also recommend. Genuinely, all positive. Picked to stay based on online reviews, and it lives up to them. I'd highly recommend it - and to the hotel staff, if you're reading, thanks for a great stay!

This is a wonderful hotel. Very spacious rooms and extremely clean. The staff is also very helpful and kind; they helped us secure last-minute reservations to activities in Helsinki that would not have been possible otherwise. It's also centrally located and easy to reach by car or public transport. The cherry on the cake? The breakfast! Absolutely delicious 💯

Hotel F6 is a lovely base for exploring Helsinki. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street but just a 5-minute walk from the harbour, where ferries leave for the archipelago and various boat tours depart. The central station is about 15 minutes away on foot, and tram and bus stops are just a short stroll. Most major sights in Helsinki’s city centre are within easy walking distance, making it simple to explore the city on foot. And if needed, tram lines 2 and 3 offer convenient access to many destinations. The hotel itself is set in a building that has been beautifully renovated with a modern, stylish touch. My room on the fourth floor was spacious and cozy, with a large, comfortable bed and a generous walk-in shower. A bathrobe and refillable Rituals toiletries added a nice touch of comfort. If I could wish for one small improvement, it would be a coffee machine in the room. There was a kettle, which is helpful, but a machine would have been a bit more convenient. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and clearly made with care. There’s also a bar integrated into the hotel (though independently run), serving great cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Again, friendly service all around.

Nice room but unfortunately it was fairly cold even after adjusting the AC and the pillows were super flat/could have used warmer duvets. The info screen was super bright at night, had to turn it flat to table so I could sleep since I did not manage to turn it off. Appreciated the breakfast and no other flaws, but at this price range I would expect a tad more even with the small details.

With only one night in Helsinki, Hotel F6 was definitely the right choice. The central location made it easy to sightsee all day. I have rarely encountered such helpful, polite and friendly staff. Luke at the front desk was super helpful checking us in late at night. He sent us an email with recommendations for our day in Helsinki. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the young lady the next day, in the afternoon (7/26/25) at the front desk who recommended a restaurant for dinner. She was very helpful and did not steer us wrong. We had a wonderful authentic Finnish dinner at a great spot. The room was lovely, modern and beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast as well. The staff was also lovely during breakfast. 5 stars to Hotel F6! I highly recommend this hotel.

Situation interesting, but real. Step by step. We booked room in this hotel and planning our trip. Unfortunately, our flight was canceled and can’t visit Helsinki. Then we contacted with hotel administration - they just said - we can’t make refund because you booked a non-refundable reservation. Sorry. But this is not normal communication with customers and even more so - this behavior of the hotel shows how much they care about their clients. Sad… never ever visit this hotel and recommend for everyone - make choice very carefully.

very horrible service and unprofessional staff. during the sales period, they took the liberty of moving my stuff into a locked showcase cabinet and lost the key! I was not informed until i went to pick up my stuff. and ofc nothing was sold because the staff lost the key and could not open the cabinet. They didn't offer any compensation for this. So basically they just robbed me of the 79 euros reservation fee. Ridiculous!

Is it a thrift store, is it a cafe? not sure what.. but Relove is just a cool vibe! Love the cafe and the insanely delicious croissants.

This store is very unique, As soon as you walk through the door the smell of warm cinnamon rolls fills your soul, an nostalgic feeling. The mix of flea and cafe is perfect and makes you want to stay longer then you thought you would. If I could give 10 stars I would. I also recommend getting cinnamon roll latte!

Pretty good hotel. Lots of art around if you're into that. It's still there if you're not to be fair. Tram stops right outside that takes you to the main station / town centre or to West ferry terminal. In fact the tram with a change takes you to the east terminal too. The rooms are pleasant and the staff polite. Breakfast was very good. Definitely stay again.

I am very pleased with my stay at Hotel AX and I would definitely return. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, with a tram stop right outside the hotel and a metro station (Ruoholahti) a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is modern, very clean and tidy and the decoration is really cool. The staff was super kind and helpful and the facilities in general were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing and as a vegetarian I was very pleased to see that I had several options to choose from. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, a nice sofa and a lovely bathroom. If there was something I would recommend, it's to add more storage in the room. Overall, a really pleasant stay.

Absolutely fantastic. We paid a bit extra to get one of the art rooms (each one designed by a different artist) and really enjoyed how quirky the place was. The bed was comfy, and everything was clean. The breakfast varied, and above average quality for a hotel buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed the free arts table, were you could just sit and create in peace and quiet.

Loved my week stay at this hotel! Team located right outside, scooters also close by so quick 8-10 min to get to center, if not just a 20-30 min walk. I liked my room, but I do wish there was a proper table/ desk, but this is a minor thing. Bed was comfortable, environment of interior was super nice and curated. Thank you!

Very unique decore and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. There are not a ton of restaurants in the area but there is a tram stop right outside the hotel.

A unique hotel in a very good way. The staff is very friendly and willing to look up stuff online to help you. There is a nice piece of art everywhere you look, and has a really nice relaxing and open atmosphere. Breakfast contains some nice interesting items which are not your run-of-the-mill options found in other hotels (we really liked the homemade cranberry chocolate cookies and vegan brownies). The room was a bit small, but it was clean and nicely decorated in an arty theme. The hotel is located nearby a terminal for a ferry to Tallinn, there are bikes nearby which you can rent (using the Helsinki public transport app) and the tram stops right in front of the hotel. I would consider to go there another time if I will visit Helsinki again.

I was at Sunn for lunch on the 25th of December. Considering the location right in front of the Cathedral in Senate Square, the elegant atmosphere, the service attentive but not intrusive, the quality of food, and the abundance of the buffet you would expect to pay more than 55-60€ per person. Noteworthy: the vegetarian main dish was delicious. The only criticism I could make is that the wine included on the menu was nothing special. Overall definitely worth it for a special occasion like the Christmas lunch.

✌Glutenfree Options✌ Three courses delicious fine dining in the historic restaurant with a fantastic view of Helsinki Cathedral. An excellent place for annual get-together to celebrate something, eg 'Svenska Dagen', the Sweden Day in Finland. Alcohol free vines are very much relevant in taste, compared to ordinary wines, and goes well with the various dishes. For interested groups, you can maybe ask someone from the staff to tell you about the interesting history of the house if you wish. Contact them before arrival and in combination with reservations. The portions might look small but are rich in flavours and surprisingly filling. You don't have to go to a hamburger restaurant after dining at restaurant Sunn. In my opinion it can be a little bit chilly and a little bit too dark in the restaurant but that's maybe just me. Anyways, I've been there several times on annual get-together and never been disappointed when it comes to service and food. The staff is neutrally kind, service minded and observant.

They say food is better with a view! This restaurant is right in front of Helsinki Cathedral. The overall ambiance and food are excellent. Plush experience and great taste.

I tried Sunn's Salmon soup. One can order it without cream and will be more than fine without additional SALT. Butter cake is also not SO SWEET. Apart from that, nice view and perfect red wine.

Average at best. Had a three course lunch menu. Soup was like water, way too thin and missing jerusalem artichoke taste. The main course came cold. The best part was dessert and even that was just ok. Service was great and as is location and views.

Affordable lunch menu that comes with free flow salad and bread. Tried out their salmon soup which warms your body during the cold winter. Service was prompt and quick too!

The burger and fish were good, but plating and sides were very basic, for example the asparagus side pictured was €6 (3 pieces with lemon in a large dish). The service was quite slow, despite there not being many diners. Recommend against sitting outside as there are lots of small flies and no candles or diffuser to keep them away from tables.

It is located by beautiful Töölö Bay/ Tölöviken, a wonderful walking area around the city lake, with lots of activity and outdoor events of all kind. The restaurant and its terrace is a very peaceful place surrounded by greenery and shuts out all the big city noise and the folk life around Töölö Bay. It's not a people watching place, it's more a quiet place with only restaurant guests and their comings and goings.

Beautiful restaurant with nice view and excellent food. We were very pleased and amazed by the taste of the reindeer filet. Very friendly waiters. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. Thank you very much and greetings from Germany.

Food is pretty ok (the steak is not so nice) but too little per portion so it turned out quite expensive. Not very friendly staff. We were there with kids but they did'nt give anything (such as pencil and paper for drawing) for them to play while waiting for food.

Nice location, but the burger was super expensive. It came a bit cold and too moist. Basically no service at all. You pay €30.90 for a burger, fries, and soda, and they don’t even bring you a napkin. You can’t leave your food outside because seagulls and other birds will take it. They put only three ice cubes in the warm soda. Big failure.

Lovely seaside restaurant to dine at. Plenty of seating outside, and they provide throw blankets if you want to be more cozy. Food was 10/10 and the portion size was filling. If you’re not too hungry even 1 order would be enough to share. The DJ was also really good. A definite must visit on a sunny day.

Amazing, popular cafe right by the sea. Open sea views. Good quality coffee, tea, drinks, pastries etc. Speciality being smoking oven, delivering tasty hamburgers. Can be a bit crowded when warm weather is present.

Excellent location, nice lounging chairs. QR table orders didn’t work, ordering drinks was a mess, draught long drink is an abomination of long drinks vs. The Original. Also a small fly or similar was spotted in a drink and it was just fished out by the staff (before handing it over).

My favorite place in Helsinki to have breakfast, coffee with pastries or burgers. The menu is delicious and the attention is excellent. The views are fabulous.

Chill out place for travellers waiting for their next flight in Helsinki airport. There’s a nice selection for alcohol in the bar and 3 types of beer on tap. You can choose to sit at the window for a magnificent view of planes landing or taking off. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Opened really until late! I was here after 22:00, when all other places were closed, and somehow everyone was seating by Burger King - but please try the fish soup! It’s big portion and a lot of fish inside 🌟 It was good snacking for two with one portion. It comes with 2 slices of black bread, and you can get tap water for self service.

We had an extended layover in Helsinki, and my son and niece were particularly intrigued by the menu here, especially the reindeer dishes. While I don't eat meat, I wanted to share their experience in this review. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is both friendly and efficient. The speed of service was impressive. According to my son, who ordered the reindeer pizza, and my niece, who had the reindeer pasta, the quality and flavor of the food were excellent. They both had trouble finishing it all given the size of the portions. Prices are a tad high, however, would recommend this place without hesitation.

Food quality has been ok the couple of times I have eaten here. The service is soulless with no care about the customer however. I could see a burger on the delivery counter for almost 10 minutes someone rung my buzzer. Bit pink by my standards!!

Decent experience. I ordered the reindeer open sandwich which had everything but reindeer- barely 3 slices! The taste was ok. Nothing exceptional. The meatballs were good and the lingonberry served with them were fresh. The staff was kind and efficient. Good place to kill some time before catching a flight but that’s about it. There’s a good view!

€27 Ok but not a bit more. And for this price No not again. A few traces maybe 1 gram of green was offered with this. If I had bought this as micro wave food for €4 I would have been rather pleased but no top score even on that scale. Relaxing place

The problem that bothered me was that you can't order more than 3 alcoholic drinks and these rules are not indicated at the entrance. For example, if I had known about such rules, I wouldn't have spent a single euro there. The staff is wonderful and helpful.

Nice coffee shop which was perfect to hang out in while my boyfriend spent all his money in the record shop next door! All of their cold drinks are coffee-based but I can’t really complain, seeing as it’s a coffee shop… I’ve attached a photo of the entrance - it’s five steps to get inside.

I've been searching for authentic Colombian coffee for a while, and this is the only spot I've found that serves it. The quality is outstanding, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect place to enjoy a truly great cup of coffee.

I just came from Stockholm and had many not so great espressi. The flat white was a balm on my pallet and my mother enjoyed their darker filter coffee as well. Spinach pastries were tasty too, with a nice punch of garlic. Definitely recommend.

Just happened to walk by and decided to try out their cold brew. I liked what I got. Maybe a bit on the thinner side. While there are a dozen seats or so, it almost feels more like a coffee store. You can buy beans and equipment here. If you’re a V60 enthusiast, you’ll have things to look at.

Not my style of coffee but good quality of coffee, I want to try different coffee bean next time, dark roasting one was a bit too bitter for me (but that’s how dark roasting should be haha), staffs were kind and not many seats but if you were lucky, its good to chill. Bakery were a bit too pricy.

Perfect flat white, pleasant space

This is such a hard review to write because it was very expensive (26€ with espresso) for what you get. The quality of the food is one of the best that I had in Helsinki but there is very little variety and food that you get a much cheaper place. However the quality is just incredible. I was disappointed by the low variety of foods and I was expecting some salmon, avocado and other brunch items but nope….

The quality of the brunch has significantly declined, despite the venue's increased popularity. Five years ago, I gave a glowing review with full stars; however, my recent experience was disappointing. The brunch offerings were subpar, and the once-available vegan options are now limited to unappetizing alternatives like bland hummus that must be requested at the counter. Additionally, by 12:15, the food stations were nearly empty, featuring only a few leaves of wilted lettuce. The establishment needs to better manage peak times, especially when patrons have reservations. Furthermore, the atmosphere was overwhelmed by guardians and their children. Constant crying, running, and the occasional breaking of items, which detracted from the brunch experience.

Such a lovely brunch on Saturdays! For ecample they have some warm foods, salads, so good bread (rieska) and delicious desserts. The best was their a bit spicy feta dip!

Great Café! Lots of drink options, including non-coffee ones. Free washroom for customers, very clean. Seating available inside and outside, and lots of baking and food available. Service very friendly, we sat outside and had a perfect afternoon.

We came from Greece, and during our visit to Porvoo, we found this little café. It had a very nice atmosphere, and both the indoor and outdoor areas of the place were equally comfortable

We had a perfectly sunny day for our trip to Suomenlinna and having walked to King's Gate and back, Silo Cafe provided just the light lunch we were looking for. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a salmon salad, toasted sandwich and one of the best pulli we have eaten in Finland. Everything was fresh and tasty. The touch of pickled onion in both the salad and the sandwich was just right. Great coffee and a beer. Just lovely.

We stopped here for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! They were also super friendly and helpful. We ordered the salmon and ham toasts, salad, coffee, tea, and the vegan banana chocolate chip cake was to die for. A must stop if you are visiting!

Töölö's Green Hippo served up some delectable pasta dishes; we opted for the avocado and beetroot pasta. It was both flavorful and satisfying! The customer service was outstanding, and we were promptly seated thanks to the attentive staff!

The Green Hippo Restaurant just has to be visited because of its cute name. But it doesn’t only have a cute name, the food is super delicious as well. Today it’s sunny and warm weather so there’s the possibility to sit outside on the huge terrace - nice! I arrived at 11 am, Breakfast will be served til 11 am and Lunch from 11 am - 5 pm. Thus breakfast time was over they prepared a breakfast dish for me. As I love eggs Benedict, of course I had to order some and they were perfect, a nice toasted brioche bread with a perfect poached egg and delicious avocado and sauce hollandaise. Beside my dish even the cappuccino is very tasty and I’m not a big coffee lover. Now it’s 11:30 am and the terrace is crowded - if this is not a sign to come around and try the very tasty and affordable food. 😍 ENJOY!

Nice restaurant with friendly staff serving various types of meals and side dishes, mostly Asian oriented with a twist. The quality of the dishes is good and in line with the prices (15 euros for a bowl meal). There are indoor and outdoor sitting possibilities and no table service.

Nice and friendly atmosphere, starters halloum fries were tasty. Main dish burger was ok, the potatoes that came with it were super good and dessert chocolate cake which was also tasty. First time visiting Green Hippo Töölöntori, will visit there another time also.

Very good coffee and the view of the park! Big points for that. But is bit noisy specifically if you want a quite moment or working space. There is constant chats on the background between stuff which from a quality service point is bit unprofessional.

A delightful little cafe offering an impressive menu including numerous vegetarian and vegan options. The avocado and vegan feta salad was delicious. A generous portion served with bread. The coffee is excellent as well.

Baristas are very kind and personable You can sit by the window and watch the kids and dogs play in the park. They also have some outdoor seating but we haven’t tried it since it’s been cold. Prob great in summer. I like the matcha and chai. Chai is a little sweet for me, maybe not my favorite spice mix, BUT it’s chai! Right next door! So fast! Great lil pick me up. I enjoy their croissants. We rate avo toast 4/5. I have had a yogurt bowl and smoothie, which was a combo that came with a latte and a croissant. The portion for the bowl was small so it was doable for me, but it was a lot of soft+liquid food all at once. I think I want to try again without the combo.

The rooms are a bit old fashioned already but personally I like it. They have their own character compared to many popular business hotels. But this is really matter of taste. The court yard side rooms are very quiet, which is a requirement for me, but don't expect any view. The breakfast is very good in central European standards but quite average in Finland or Sweden. Service was very good and friendly.

A hotel with great design, friendly staff and great breakfast. The standard double room size is fine but the rest room is very small. Bed is comfortable. In room amenities are quite good, with a capsule coffee machine.

I had a fantastic stay at KlausK in Helsinki. I was lucky to get a room facing the courtyard. It was really quiet and clean, and now I'm emotionally attached to their pillows and bed. The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of local options. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Klaus K for both business and leisure travelers. The location is great, right in the heart of the city, close to all the shops. Stockmann is just a 5-minute walk away, there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, and a tram stop just steps from the entrance. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Helsinki!

The room is small, but the services and amenities provided definitely outweigh the price. They are considerate enough to include free personal hygiene items at the front desk, unlike most other expensive hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe.

First time in Helsinki and we chose Klausk Hotel for its central location. Turned out that regular trams stopped outside the hotel, taking you in a number of directions. We were allocated a fairly large room overlooking the main street, but excellent window insulation made it soundproof. A few niggles with room especially shower overflowing all bathroom floor, requiring mopping with dirty towels. The big plus was the breakfast, a bit unusual with local influence, however plenty of tasty options. And a big plus is breakfast runs till 11am. Service is very friendly and helpful. It may be of interest to some that regular entertainment is put on in a staged area. This hotel is LGBTQ friendly. Integral Italian restaurant serves excellent food.

One of the best coffee shops in the center of Helsinki. Delicious coffee with variety of different syrups. At most importantly very polite and friendly staff, today Ronja and Elle helped me a lot with my coffee of the day. ❤️ Recommended ❤️

Ordered two cups of hot latte. The coffee was perfectly brewed, offering a warm and comforting experience on a snowy day. Well, it’s Starbucks. Connected to a bookstore. So decent coffee at rather high prices. The service here was slow though. Two people in front of me and it took five minutes to order. Don’t understand Finnish so not sure what the issue was. Once I ordered my cold brew I got it quickly though. And it was perfectly fine. Maybe too much ice. Note -ost seats here are by the window and if the sun is out, you’ll feel the heat.

No ‘been here’ mugs. Only Starbucks I’ve been to that does not have it. The barista was friendly. The iced strawberry matcha latte was not good. Dining area needs to be cleaned regularly.

As a former Starbucks barista, and experienced independent barista of many, many years from America, I always look forward to the familiar comfort of this universally known brand. There are only 3 Starbucks in all of Finland. This location is located in the heart of Helsinki. We had the classic Iced Caramel Macchiato, paired with a double chocolate chip cookie. The barista crafted a textbook Macchiato that would make the original founder proud. I would encourage the cashiers to be more upbeat and connective. This is Finland so maybe compared to the USA extrovert charm, she was giving her best, lol. The pastry display could have more of a visual appeal, and the cleanliness of the seating areas could be more welcoming. This location is spot on with drink quality per recipe, but could use more charm and welcoming atmosphere. But A+ on the drink.

Best place for tap beer choice in HEL. There were some weirdos ordering bottled beer but this place has multiple good choices of tap drinks.

Extremely underwhelming food, ordered the crispy chicken, received a small plate with a couple of cold nuggets, a thick piece of raw lemon (touches a pan a few seconds, and three sauces with no charisma whatsoever. The only thing "good" was the warm and somewhat properly fried fries. Not worth it for the price, even considering it's an airport.

The place to be when at Helsinki Airport. Cosy. Good place to sit and relax while you wait for that flight out. The music is great! The fish n chips are amazing. Onion rings crazy tasty Fries are scrumptious Topped it with a Lagavulin 16 years.

The Pepsi I got was extremely sweet and absolutley flat. Pretty much the most disgusting version you can imagine. My partner preferred the food from Burger King and even though we ordered drinks and additinal food, he was not allowed to eat the burger King food inside the restaurant. Tbh I wish I had ordered a Coke at Burger King as well instead the Pepsi here 🤣

Everytime I fly somewhere from Helsinki, this is a most stop to sit down and enjoy a pint. Good atmosphere, decent food and good beer/whisky selection. You can either sit in the restaurant or the airstrip view, and there is plenty of charging stations at the latter option.

I bought a hoodie (not cheap, 35 euros) that, after just 20 minutes of wear, broke at the seams on both sides of the hood and left a layer of dust-like material on my head. When I carefully tried to take it off, the fabric itself tore at the upper back. When I returned to the store the next day (with the receipt in hand), after some deliberation I was told they could do nothing more than offer me a free coffee. I understand the no-refund/no-return policy due to second-hand clothing, but if you sell clothes at such high prices as all Relove stores do, I expect either proper quality control (which evidently they don’t provide) or flexible and accommodating customer service (which I certainly didn’t receive) in cases like this. I’m sure you can find some good pieces here, but after this debacle I will certainly boycott the entire chain and encourage others to do the same.

This is a great breakfast/lunch place that shares the space with a used-clothing shop. Great concept!! The dishes we ordered were flavorful and fresh. The acai bowl was delicious. Coffee was spot on. Great place to people watch. Friendly staff.

Went there and ate the following: bread with some hummus, latté with oatmilk and a cinnamon bun and paid €20 in total. Food was delicious just like in the other relove locations. Will go there again. A bit more pricey than average but quality is also a slightly better than other places I have the impression.

Fabulous cozy coffee room and high-fashion secondhand clothing shop, just off one of Helskinki's closed-to-traffic walking/shopping areas. Wonderful gluten-free baked goods! I recommend the poppyseed bread if available. Delicious espresso macchiato, among a selection of beverages including wine and cocktails. Also free wifi available in a candle-lit, living room-style cafe area. Perfect antidote to a grey, wet Helsinki day!

**Note that reviews here mix opinions about both the café and the second-hand shop, which can be confusing.** The second-hand shop was actually quite lovely about five years ago. It’s a bit sad to see how things have changed – nowadays, a good 80% of the items seem to come from fast fashion brands like Zara, H&M, BikBok (and even Primark!). Also, many pieces are polyester, look quite worn, and are very expensive. It feels like they might have had to let quality slide a bit just to keep going, which is understandable but still disappointing. These shops hold such a special spot in the hearts of Helsinkians. I hope they'll find a way to adapt their business plan to recapture that old magic and reconnect with the "collective values" that made us all love them in the first place.

Nice classy bar. I visited this place around 7 pm on a Friday and it was quite busy but not packed. I got a glass of white wine and the price was surprisingly low for Helsinki standards. I did not really look at the rest of the prices. The staff were nice enough. Due to the construction sites outside Tripla the view wasn't the best, but this is only temporary. Definitely recommended.

I'm not completely sure what their lunch is like since I never got to taste their main course. Clearly these guys are not prepared to handle the amount of people they get during the lunch hour. The buffet was constantly empty. They seem to have a nice selection of whiskey though.

They gave us reservation of a table for 30 minutes, during which we would not have time to get food, let alone get drinks. So no food from restaurant. 3-4 people behind bar, out of which one guy worked and rest concentrated on having customers run to back of queue for the slightest reason. We had 10 people, spent hundreds of EUR to drinks, will not do so again. Whiskey selection excelllent, cocktail quality, when you got them after 20 or so minutes, excellent, but why would you bother? Lots of cocktail bars with customer service professionals in Helsinki. I recommend e.g. Bar Haven.

Lots of drinks to select from. Wine and beer. Around 10 beers in the tap + bottle beer. Lunch looked nice but did not eat. Space is very nice with big windows and lots of light. Not there is construction still going but you can have a nice view. You can also charge you devices at table. Not the cheapest but at least service and space is great. I got a tasting for beer I was thinking to buy and because of that took different beer from the tap.

Nice ambiance to the restaurant we attended as group of 9 people and service was speedy and friendly. I thought the price was on the high side for what was delivered, was well presented however. The reindeer carpaccio was a bit bland, however I had the main course of sea bass which was tasty and well cooked. Crème brûlée was I would say above average

My experience in this room was disappointing. Upon arrival, I noticed that the bed was dirty and had clearly not been cleaned properly. Furthermore, the pillowcases were stained and unclean, with hairs on them, something entirely unacceptable for a space advertised as clean and comfortable.To make matters worse, the room lacked adequate heating, as the hotel does not provide autonomous heating, only centralized heating. As a result, we were cold throughout the night. We expected basic cleanliness and comfort, but unfortunately, these standards were not met.

Convenient apartments in a very Finnish classical style and design in all sizes in Töölö with good commuting everywhere in Helsinki. Don’t expect a hotel. It is all very simple yet very functional, convenient and clean. Offers a simple and good breakfast, some nice public areas, fridge in the room, in-floor kitchen and sauna. In the area plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Good value for money.

The Toolo Towers staff were friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast included many options. Enjoyed the sauna during my stay. Keep in mind that it is only open in the evenings from 6- 10 p.m. Another perk was the free use of the washers and dryers. You need to sign up to use them; there is a signup sheet in the basement where the washers and dryers are located. Also, you will need to provide your own detergent. Each floor has a lounge and a kitchen area. Oh, and the top floor has a space where you can hang out and has a nice view. My only downside was that I wanted a room with a better view without having to pay more for it. For transportation, the 2 tram will get you to the city center with ease.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, and overall, the facilities are well maintained and neat. However, the quality of the mattress is suboptimal, to say the least. Did not get a good night sleep due to the poor quality of the mattress. It is good to have a good breakfast, but even more important that they provide the most essential items of all: a prorer good quality mattress.

Everything was great, staff really nice, the towers are not too far from trams and buses and just 25-30 mins walk from the main centre. Flat contained everything. we would have appreciated some shower gel and teas for the room but there weren’t any.

I needed a hotel in a quiet area, but still close to the city center, and that's why I chose this one. A simple, small room, with a bathroom, TV and fridge, and a shared kitchen on each floor, so I had everything I needed while exploring Helsinki. The reception staff were nice, professional and very helpful. And the breakfast was tasty and varied. I am happy with my stay at this hotel and can recommend it to others.
