Really nice place, I only went in for a drink and to be able to sit outside for my Poulette burger. I had an elderflower kombucha, and it really hit the spot. The real win for this place is the toilet though, one of the best toilets I've been to, the decoration is just superb, has to be seen to be believed.

Pompette is the place to be 🍷 we have been coming here for a couple of times now and we were never disappointed. The place is so cozy, both outside and inside. The staff is always welcoming and ready to help you find which wine suits you best. We always take the orange wine, which is made directly by them, and we usually regret not taking a bottle haha. Bonus : take something from poulette, their burger place, after your “apéro”

Food: The ricotta & anchovy plate was really good and very unique. The only issue is that the plate for whatever reason did not come with bread so you would have to spend another 50dk just for the bread. So, a total of 125 dk for a small plate. Wine: I really enjoyed the wine but I’m generally interested in not just traditional wine but also natural wine but if that’s not your thing, then you should skip this place. I do think for 75dk, the pours are SMALL. It’s not served in wine glasses but rather desert wine glasses? To be honest, I’ve never had normal wine served in these tiny glasses… shrinkflation? Service: I do agree with others that considering this is a wine bar, there is little to no information about the wine… it seems more like the type of place for tourists that just want to go somewhere trendy to drink any kind of wine. No information written or verbally shared about the wine. The only description is “bubbles, white, red, orange, rose”. I’d say a little ridiculous given the fact that this is a wine bar. There are so many “reds” and “whites”… also, the person working the shift was a bit unfriendly... not rude, just not welcoming. He made no effort to explain anything at all. I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’d come back.

First things first, the ricotta cheese with anchovies was such an interesting and surprisingly good dish to go with our wines choices. Ossau Iraty was dry-creamish that made our expectations as from the cheese family. Pompette is friendly, is easy going and is warm enough to gather with your partner/friends/family. My partner and I got to taste few wines that brought new knowledge in terms of natural wines, and liked the overall drinking experience. Pompette offers bottle opening service and if not, organic wines by glasses. The vibe is really appealing as you may see customers willing to sit outside (1 degree) and smoke and probably talk about life :)

We had a wonderful and truly special evening at Ancestrale. The small guest room made us feel at home, and the Ancestrale team made sure that all our wishes were granted. The menu was out of this world — there were so many little details that made it exciting and delicious. The wine pairing was also well thought out and the selection of wines was perfect. I would highly recommend this place — it definitely deserves a 5/5 star rating!

We have just come back from the most wonderful experience at Ancestrale. We just stumbled across this beautiful wine bar on our way back from dinner in Vesterbro and were immediately drawn by the cosy atmosphere inside. The staff were wonderful - our waitress was highly knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. The interior was cosy and intimate, just what you need on a cold evening. We had a beautiful natural red wine by Nathalie Banes, another aspect that made this experience extra special - is that they try to stock many small independent producers. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone. The only critique I could give is that it would have been nice if there were some little complementary nibbles on the table to eat with our wine. However, overall a beautiful experience

Impeccable fermented food with great natural wine. The waiter was great and friendly, it's the speed of service that was unacceptable. Our 5 course menu took nearly 3 hours to complete which is just too slow for me personally.

The food was good and really well presented but for quality/price ratio i consider it low . Too high price for what you get in terms of nutritional balance and flavor

Simple and tasty, this cozy restaurant is worth a visit. The service was great and our waiter really knew her wines (all of which are natural). We did wait quite a bit for the main but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

They have a strict concept of local fish and veg in season. The current chef with no professional training is a master of textures and flavours. The wine selection is very carefully curated. 5 servings and accompanying wines will set you back 900 dkk, which is a bargain for the level of deliciousness you get! Cosy place too.

Lovely small winebar with a focus on European wines especially Italian. They have an interesting selection of Greek wines and eastern European wines as well. I had a couple of glasses before dinner and you have to reach out sometimes to get service but the people working here are friendly and passionated.

Love this area. Was writing with a glass of wine outside. Natural wine I has was nice but you cannot see the price before you taste them as the price is written on the bottle. Mine was 90krn. Could have been better if they write down the price on the board like ‘Today’s list’.

We stumbled in late after a restaurant visit and were expertly guided to a superb Tokaji wine. Just what we needed.

Copenhagen is full of different restaurants, cafes and bars. The choice is really big. With new friends, it's fun to explore places like this. Apart from that, they have a huge selection of Italian wines that can really make your head buzzing and relieve tension ... I will definitely visit there again sometime.

Funky pop up wine bar. Owner is a wine aficionado. Lots of super interesting wines on offer and for tasting. That said, they specialize in the funky and natural type of wines, so no strong and powerful wines available in the red wine category. Very charming little place, however.

Can’t wait for the bar to reopen, found via New York Times and spent our 1st night living in Copenhagen having a drink here. Solfinn the owner is great. Super knowledgeable about wine but never condescending, you feel like you’re in his home. Can’t wait for the bar to reopen.

A smallish resto which is kinda hard to get in. A fixed priced menu of mostly veggies. The waiter acted trying to be efficient but busy.. dont give enough time to describe the dishes. Hence we basically were eating green salad and appetizers plus one very cutely cut meat dish. Plating is conventional and does not leap the eye given the price , it was underwhelming.

Love this place!!! One of my favourite place in Copenhagen Great wine and great food. The best dish is the famous beef tartare. So yummy !!! I do love the homemade bread. And the fact the you can choose the selection of chef’s choices. Perfect for couple or for a group of friend. It is better to book the table on the weekend Definitely recommend

Had a wonderful dinner with a colleague there a couple of years ago which brought me back when visiting again. Had the chefs menu for lunch and it was a real delight! Love how fresh the ingredients are and the atmosphere of the place - will definitely be back!

Whatever you do order the beef tartare!!! Best I’ve had in my life and I always keep coming back. Other than that, their dishes are always seasonal and delicious. The bread is also great as it comes from Mirabelle bakery. Great service and cosy spot! Must visit in Copenhagen 👌

The food was good, though definitely not comfort food (for a vegan at least!)... it was very simple and clean and I guess that’s ok, but definitely not mind-blowing. The main reason for 3 stars is that the service was really not great before we got a table, and not so good after, even! We tried to book a table, but they wouldn’t take reservations on the phone, and directed us to the website, and also said we probably didn’t need a reservation... However, the website gave an error. So we just turned up. We were told 15m wait. 15m later we were told 2m more. Then another 10m later we were told 2m more. Then about 40m after we arrived, I was a bit frustrated so I asked for more clarity, and finally they found us a table immediately (?? How long was that table free?). Then when we ordered the food (only 3 dished on the menu were vegan), there was a very long gap between the raw and cooked food. Unluckily I had all the raw dishes, so that meant I was eating alone for a good 10-15m and had finished my first two dishes by the time my friend’s dishes arrived. Add to that that the drinks menu is not much fun unless you drink wine - they don’t even have a caffeine free tea - and that justified the 3 stars in my view...

Coming in from a vegetarian culture, I guess I expect something different. To us this experience was decent but not extraordinary. The venue is somewhat like a bar and comfortable. I wouldn't go back a second time.

4 stars for the wine, well curated, interesting and okay priced. 2 for the food, expensive and utterly forgettable. 95 kr for a “khachapuri” made from puff pastry and so small it fits in the palm of a hand is too much even for Copenhagen. The cheese “board” comes at the exorbitant price of 125 kr and features two cheeses in tiny quantities, and knäckebröd that disintegrates as soon as it is picked up. Service was really good, but definitely recommend to concentrate on the wine.

Den Vandrette feels like a hidden gem. You can tell that the team really cares about what they do — from the fresh ingredients to the thoughtful details on each plate. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit.

What a true gem!!! A total must if you like relaxed vibes, amazing wine and super delish small plates Addi and Michal make this place the coolest with their really cool and laid back energy! The wine list is full of bangers (they have it all, succulent Loire stuff, wilder Georgian bangers, fun Spanish...) And the food... ideally you go very hungry and just order the whole menu twice... that’s what we did :0

Had heard a lot about this place. Four of us meandered from our hotel towards this restaurant. Seating was only outside- late evening- just perfect. This place mainly has tapas style food. We ordered the cheese platter and the scallops. For the wines, I was expecting more of a choice but eventually the lack of choice was more than made up by the quality. There were 2 red wines and we had both. The one I had- a Loire valley red - mind blowing. The other one was great too. Our elder daughter had an unfiltered white wine from Portugal - she loved it. All in all a very good evening.

Fantastic wines (also check out Rosforth & Rosforth) and great shareable food with very high quality but easy to approach. Reserve a table, otherwise you probably don’t fit in..

While we waited for our dinner reservation at nearby Barr, my friend and I stopped into Den Vandrette Vinbar, just off the main strip where Nyhavn is located. Stepping down a few stairs into a basement space, the entire place is cozy. Greeted by friendly staff, we were seated at a long community table and served still water right away. Asking the server for recommendations, we both landed on a natural white wine for 90 krone a piece. We also ordered the khachapuri, a Georgian cheese bread dish. It came out warm and the cheese oozed out as we cut into it. Den Vandrette was the perfect snack place before dinner. With the staff being so friendly, it was a warm experience.

Just a staple in Copenhagen’s wine and dining scene. Cosy surroundings and a fantastic cellar that regularly sees new wines to keep everything exciting. An incredibly knowledgeable and friendly front of house team and the kitchen really dishes out amazing food! The Katchapuri is an absolutely iconic dish. It’s one of our favourite places for a reason ❤️

This place is my favorite wine bar in Copenhagen. They have all natural wines, and do a really good job of matching wines to your preferences. The staff are nice too :) this place gets.l a little crowded on fridays and Saturdays. If you want to sit inside during the cold season, get there before 21:00. Prices for a glass range from 55-95 and bottles are around 250+ for drink-in. Bottles are cheaper to-go.

Great wine list at a reasonable price considering the skyrocketing market price these days. Kind and considerate staff (forgot to ask the name, but thanks!). I especially had a chance to taste Cdp with legendary vintage. The bottle condition was perfect and the taste... what can I say 🥹🥹 Will surely visit again.

Stopped for a quick glass of wine while passing. Good selection by the glass, nice service. A few tables outside to catch the sun if you’re lucky.

Very disappointing experience. We stopped for a glass of wine and there was a big selection of wine by glass. Once we ordered, the waiter brought the wine and served it without a possibility for us to taste it first. We didn’t like the wine, but during the night no-one came and asked us if we enjoyed it. We left one of our glass with the wine untouched and asked for a bill, and again when the waiter came, he wasn’t interested at all why his customers didn’t drink the wine they ordered. No service, no attention, just expensive prices for bad selection of wine by glass.

Cosy wine bar with a very good wine card and a various selection of cold cuts and other home made cold dishes. And even if it's a little pricey (for foreigners) we were so enthusiastic about it we went back 3 day in a row.

One of the best places in Copenhagen to go for a pre-dinner glass of wine, in my humble opinion. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and pay close attention to the guests, and the selection always has something interesting to offer Price-wise I believe that they are somewhat around the average. Fantastic wine bar! The wine selection (both bottles and glasses) is very impressive and reasonably priced. The food is simply excellent, much better than in most mid-level restaurants in Copenhagen. The service is very kind, open and inviting. We ended up going there for 3 straight nights and this place quickly became our favourite wine destination in Denmark.

A small, modern yet inviting space with an abundance of wine shelves, a charming French waiter, and apparently quite popular with the locals. We started off with their ‘bitter salad’ with olives, Marcona almonds, pecorino, and I swear I detected a lil hint of anchovies in the dressing and grilled duck hearts with chimichurri bc DUCK HEARTS. They were so good we ordered another portion. We then split the sweetbreads bc SWEETBREADS with ‘heart salad, crispy bread & watercress,’ which were good, but a bit skimpy on the sweetbreads. I’m also not fond of too much breading, and these were overwhelmed by it. Probably our least favorite dish. The beef tartare, OTOH, was delightful, with pickled beech mushrooms, espelette, capers, and watercress. Our final dish was the catch of the day, mullet with spring vegetables (wonderfully charred spring onions), mussels & mussel sauce. All the sauces were sop-up-worthy, and I felt positively stuffed after all that food. A bit of a splurge, but worth it.

I truly enjoyed this wine bar in Copenhagen! The food was fantastic, and my favourite part was their comte cheese. It was melting in the mouth, best one I’ve ever had. The wine was also great, and they obviously know their wines. The people working there were helpful, however it was tricky to get their attention. Multiple times we had to almost stare them down for them to see us and even then it felt like they just looked away.

Had such a great night at Barvin. The wine list is really well thought out, not just the usual picks and the server actually knew what to pair with my meal (and nailed it). Always nice when someone clearly knows their wines. The food was spot on too. Great flavour, everything felt fresh and well put together without being fussy. You can tell the kitchen really cares about what they’re doing. Just an all-round solid spot, good food, great wine, and great people who actually get both. Definitely coming back!

Love this place! A cozy bistro. Our lunch was perfect today - and the service was friendly as always. The waitstaff knows their wine and makes recommendations according to what you request.4.5 stars instead of 5 only because it gets a little loud when full, and though that's also nice for atmosphere, it can be hard to hear! But love the fact that they pay attention to the music! - bluesy jazzy music playing. Perfect!

It’s not just Vinhanen that’s great, it’s the whole area! Pop in on a Friday night and you’ll have to walk through streets filled with people enjoying foods and drinks from all over the world. Inside you’ll be offered a curated selections of wines and the bites to go along with them. Sit outside if the weather allows it, grab yourself some cheese and enjoy a beautiful glass in an amazing city.

Went here in the afternoon, it was quiet, only one other table there. I was welcomed by a lovely staff member who was helpful and friendly. Tried two different wines and ate one (of the three) warm dishes. All were great! It’s possible to try a wine first before you buy a glass which is great. All in all a great place to sit and enjoy life for a moment, either with a glas of wine or with something to eat, or both. Friendliness of the staff was a big pro for me! Thank you

Interesting place, the wine is poured from large tanks so they are a bit fresh to say the least. There is an interesting selection of both bio and natural wines. It feels a bit like being at a winery. Very casual atmosphere and place it typically busy. Had a German Pinot that was nicely chilled. This was my second visit. You can order small snacks like olives etc

Very nice bistro with a selection of wines from tap and a small selection of 3 warm dishes (one vegetarian), a salad of the day, or cheese/charcuterie selections. All very fresh, homemade and tasty. The ambience is very nice in a go-to neighborhood. The staff is very friendly. I very much enjoyed the experience and look forward to going there again.

Had a lot of expectations coming into this place but everything was just okay. The food came out at a good pace but nothing really stood out. Some of the dishes were actually disappointing especially for the price point. There’s a lot of good food options in the area and I’m not sure if I’d recommend coming here over those.

Not a good experience! Felt like a scam. I went to Safari with my colleagues one evening to enjoy good food and wine in great company. Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. We ordered the 5-course menu, but it honestly felt like a scam. The first three courses were just small snacks—one of them was literally bread with oil—and then we had two other small dishes that weren’t very flavorful. The dessert wasn’t even included in the 5-course menu; you had to pay extra for the chocolate ice cream. For the two main dishes, the choices were tartare or octopus and pasta with cheese or sausage with polenta. I got the tartare, which was okay but nothing special, and the pasta with cheese, which was honestly terrible. I couldn’t finish it because I just didn’t like it. The texture of the cheese was unappetizing, and despite being labeled as quattro formaggi, it just tasted mostly like gorgonzola. My colleagues who got the octopus said it was really bad, and the sausage was just mediocre. We also asked for a wine pairing, but no one knew anything about wine. Instead, they just placed six random bottles on the table and told us we could drink from those—not exactly what you expect from a pairing. For dessert, I ended up ordering the chocolate ice cream with salt and olive oil, which was delicious, but it’s still ridiculous that it wasn’t included in the 5-course menu. When I finished my pasta, I actually expected a proper main course, because I couldn’t believe that the meal was already over. What they advertise as five courses is really just two small dishes with some starter snacks. Don’t fall for this scam. The restaurant is cozy and our waitress was super nice and did what she could to make it a nice experience. But I'm not going again.

The weekend menu at 400 was overall good value for the price, and most dishes were tasty. The only exception was a dish with salsiccia and polenta, which was disappointing. It reminded me of Swedish korv med mos and its presentation was unappealing, almost resembling canteen food. The room itself was very hot and quite noisy, but it still felt lively, even though many guests ended up taking off their shirts. I could see myself returning, and had I chosen something other than the korv med mos, I would probably have rated the food experience a five.

Went in with great expectations and the food and staff exceeded them. Such wonderful tasty food, we had the weekday menu and we were definitely left with full happy stomachs. The crostinis we were served were a standout, as well as the halibut dish and the new lemon sorbet with white chocolate were truly special. Lovely atmosphere, very “hyggeligt” but with a great buzz. The interior and setup was also was really cool, relaxed yet a more slightly more formal setting. Highly highly recommended!!

i feel bad leaving a less than stellar review - but want to say what i wish i had read, which is: there is such unbelievably good food all over copenhagen, and this was by far the least inspiring meal we had on our trip! just like.. unbearably average. staff was very sweet, but trust me, go elsewhere!

The most soulfull and knowledgable wine shop in Copenhagen. They are the guys that supply other wine shops so here you will find a better selection and prices. But its a wholesale business so things are not presented that nicely so you will have to know what you are looking for and trust the staff. Nice setting under the old bridge, you can also get glasses and enjoy your bottle looking over the harbor and this is at wholesale prices!

The place impressed us with its dishes—full of flavor. Excellent wine and a friendly atmosphere. Although I usually don’t enjoy places with tightly packed seating, this one truly deserves praise. And the fact that it’s impossible to find a table without a reservation on a weekend speaks for itself.

Amazing Place with great wine and delicious food! The food quality was really good, exciting flavours and you could taste that it’s made with love, even on a busy Friday evening. We went for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were friendly and helpful, so the vibe felt right from the start. They recommend at least two dishes per person, and we had no trouble finding something appealing on the menu. We started with the burrata served on a sweet pear base — maybe a touch too sweet, but still a lovely starter (or even a light dessert). Next came the steak tartare, which was absolutely perfect. The twist with pistachios was a great touch. For mains, we had the fish of the day with beurre blanc and a glass of Chablis — always a safe bet, and they delivered flawlessly. We also tried the shakshuka with spicy tomato sauce, which had great flavor and was nicely balanced. All in all, the food was spot-on. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, and the staff were easy to reach when needed. We’ll definitely be back — maybe next time in the evening, when the place has a bit more buzz and atmosphere.

came here to eat for dining week and left disappointed. tuna was chewy and bland, leek fritters were just okay. i didn't finish my pork belly because it was so unappetizing, just semi-dry pork with non-crispy skin and the presentation was super weird with kale laying underneath the pork and minced mushrooms underneath the kale. the pistachio dessert was very nice though and i enjoyed the strong pistachio flavor. the service was nice and the vibe in the restaurant is super cozy. i would come back only to drink wine as the place is very wine focused, but i would not come back to eat here unfortunately :( also the tap water was 25 kroner per person which is not advertised in the drink menu or when they offer it to you to start

Amazing food! We stopped by when exploring the meatpacking district in Copenhagen. Being the end of the day, we stopped in and asked if they had room for the 3 of us. What an amazing dinner! Autumn Roll, Cucumber Salad, Monkfish, Tri-tip steak, Mashed potatoes, and then dessert - Coconut ice-cream, Eaton Mess, and Raspberry Panna Cotta - all so good! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are here for a visit or live here!

This is a nice spot for grabbing a glass of wine, given the variety of wines by the glass that they have available. The staff were knowledgeable about the wines available and they were very nice. They also have a nice option for light bites too. I would note that this is one of the locations that charges the foreign transaction fee. I don’t remember seeing it listed anywhere, but wanted to note it for others. Either way I would recommend this place if you are searching for a relaxed place to have a glass of wine or two.

This is a wine bar, don't expect to have sophisticated meals. But you have wonderful tapas (look at the picture, and you'll see what I mean 😋) and a list of wines that would drive Dionysos completely mad ! All the danish products: cheese, cold cust, wine, ans akvavit are awesome. Thanx to the métro to bring us back at the hotel... And as always, the modern vikings are the most polite people in Europe!

Why 1 star? Unpleasant service. My wife, grown daughter and myself were going out to dinner. We wanted a glass of wine before dinner - but were a bit tight on time. So we found Nebbiolo wine bar near our restaurant. I was running late and asked my wife to order a glass for me - we have been together since 1984, so she knows my palate well. When I arrive at Nebbiolo, my wife and daughter has a glass of wine each - but no glass for me - the waiter would not let my wife order for me. After some time the waiter came over and asked what I would like to drink. I said that I would like to let my wife order for me. She again mentioned what I normally like, and after making me confirm the order, I got served the same Primitivo as she was drinking…. Maybe this concept is being stretched a bit too far?? A wife can’t order for her husband? From reading the other reviews I can tell other people are also discontent with the service. I guess I am getting a response from the management in line what they have answered other low rated reviews: that there are two sides to an experience… but maybe the management should look at the concept and guide the servers a bit better. The reason for people to rate places on Google map is to help other people find a place for them - we write about experiences. So if a person like/accept the concept here at Nebbiolo and wants a good glass of wine - go here (Now you know what you are up for) - if you want a nice glass of wine with regular kind service - go somewhere else.

Spent a few hours at Nebbiolo and would easily go back. Started with a table outside, which worked well on a warm evening. Later moved to the bar indoors as it got colder—smooth transition, no issues. The place was busy but not chaotic, and the team handled it well. Service was consistent throughout—friendly, quick, and happy to recommend without pushing anything. Drinks were excellent across the board. You can try different Italian wines by the glass, and the menu has enough variety without being overwhelming. The overall vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, with a mix of people—some in for a quick glass, others staying longer. Everything felt thought through, down to how clean and well-maintained the toilets were (which matters more than most people admit). Prices felt fair for the quality and location. Definitely a place where you can spend a couple of hours without checking your watch. Would recommend for anyone looking for a proper wine bar in the city.

We thought this was a brilliant Italian wine bar. The wines were of a really high quality and it was just a lovely atmosphere in the heart of the city. The owner was very friendly and attentive and we loved the cheese/foccacia/salami plate - again, very high quality and fresh.

Great service Nice wines My daughter and I dropped by for a glass of wine in OCT 2025. The place was not too busy but people were in a really good mood. We got seated quickly and asked if the waiter could recommend some wines for us. We explained our tastes and he got out some wines that matched our taste buds. Really nice overall. The wines were fine but I missed some complexity and depth. When we had to pay the waiter had added tips to the bill. And I am not a big fan of that in Denmark where people have a nice earning already - you do not need to tip in Denmark. So very bothersome they add the tip and you have to remove it.

Last night, our company wine club enjoyed an unforgettable evening at Not Your Usual Vinbar in Copenhagen—a spot that truly lives up to its name. The owner, who impressively wears the hats of chef, sommelier, and winemaker, curated a tasting menu of five small dishes, each expertly paired with a unique wine. His passion and knowledge added a personal touch that elevated the whole experience. We kicked off the night with a glass of Romanian bubbles (Avincis vin spumante, Vila Dobrusa) as the last guests arrived, setting a festive tone right from the start. The first dish was a classic: blinis topped with crème fraiche and generous spoonfuls of trout roe, paired with a crisp Blanc de Blancs Brut Vintage 2021 from Te Wā Wines—hailing from the owner’s home country, Moldova. The pairing was spot on, with the bubbles cutting through the richness and highlighting the delicate flavors. Next up was a zucchini carpaccio, a beautiful plate of raw zucchini drizzled with olive oil, brightened with orange zest, shavings of Danish hard cheese from Mammen (“forkælet”), and scattered flower petals. This dish was paired with a fresh white wine from Ukraine (Eduard Gorodetsky, My Wine Suholimansky, Odesa, 2024), which brought out the subtle vegetal notes and the citrus lift. The third starter was a bruschetta topped with beef tartare—simple, yet bursting with flavor. It was paired with my personal favorite of the evening, a spicy and elegant Romanian Pinot Noir from Avincis (2020). The wine’s peppery edge and silky texture complemented the richness of the tartare beautifully. For the main course, we enjoyed a comforting pork stew served over creamy mashed potatoes made with Moldovan spuds—a true showcase of the chef’s ability to turn humble ingredients into something memorable. This was paired with a robust Moldovan red made from 100% Saperavi grapes (Divus, Saperavi, 2019), which brought depth and a touch of earthiness to the dish. We finished on a high note with a small, decadent chocolate fondant featuring a perfectly runny center. The dessert was paired with a homemade Moldovan black cherry liqueur, crafted from cherries macerated with their pits to lend a subtle marzipan edge. The spirit’s warmth and complexity were the perfect match for the chocolate, ending the evening on a deliciously indulgent note. Throughout the night, the owner’s enthusiasm and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome. He remembered my previous visit ten months ago and even recalled my interest in his unusual wine selections—a testament to his dedication and hospitality. All in all, Not Your Usual Vinbar delivers exactly what its name promises: a unique, expertly curated experience where the food, wine, and atmosphere come together seamlessly. Some of the best wines I’ve tried! The waiter (Louis from Belgium) was not only funny and friendly, but with perfect hospitality manners and great to guide us what wine to try. The place is cozy and the tapas they offer are also tasty addition to the wine options

Great place for wine tasting. They have wine flights for sparkling, white, rosé and red. The choice for the wine flights is always personalized - don't hesitate to share what you like! The place is run by Moldovans, they bring wine from that region and the neighboring countries. This is the perfect spot to discover wines from countries other than the classic ones, made from local, unusual grapes found nowhere else. Also, the service is super friendly! And you can feel the passion they pour into their work. Oh, and last thing: don't hesitate to try the Danish cheese havarti to pair with any of your wines. It is such an amazing pairing!

The wines here are truly underrated and deserve more attention. Especially the Ukrainian selections - they are exceptional and offer a unique experience. A hidden gem for wine lovers!

Fantastic wine bar, with some indeed unusual wines, which were considerably better than the wines we are used to drinking. I tried a Moldovan Codrinschi, which was truly great. The owner was so knowledgeable that gave us a background story for each of the wines, making it a journey in history, politics and the culture of the country of origin, combined with his own humor. What an experience and pleasant surprise.. Will come back.

We had a reservation prior to visiting and we were seated very fast. Unfortunately the tables are cramped together and the space is tiny. Even the waiters were struggling to serve. The tables are also small with very uncomfortable chairs. The atmosphere for a wine bar should be cozy but it wasn’t. However, the food and the wine pairings were absolutely amazing. The food was super delicious and they made sure to have a vegetarian course included. They also paired every meal with a great wine. The staff serving us were also very kind, they had attention to detail and they gave us a description of everything they served.

This has become one of my favourite dining spots in Copenhagen. The food is always super fresh, nicely presented and tasty. We had the set menu and the white asparagus was great! The wine selection is also really good. I had an Italian Rose which was lovely.

I went here for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon in Copenhagen. This place is located in one of the best streets of Copenhagen, filled with many France restaurants. The place offered a lunch menu with 4 servings for only 165DKK. We easily changed one of the dishes on the menu so we could try the burrata. Everything we had was tasteful and delicious. The salad with walnuts and red grape was a little tedious.

One of the best dinners we had in a while.. big surprise! Pork neck was absolutely perfect. Super friendly service too!

My husband and I went to Melo yesterday as part of the Copenhagen Wine and Cocktails week. It was such a positive experience! Such a cosy wine bar right in the city center. The vibe is amazing, with a great selection of wines and really lovely light food. The staff are very welcoming, which makes it feel extra special. Perfect spot for a date or just a hygge glass of wine on a cold evening!

Popped in here on a whim on a Tuesday afternoon, which by chance happens to be the day the two owners are running the shop. They also happen to open special bottles from their private collections…I was treated to a glass of 1993 Riesling that was fantastic. The other bottles on offer were also great! These guys know what they’re doing!

This is well over a year overdue. This amazing wine spot is run by a brother sister duo. Absolutely amazing service and wonderful wine list. This made our date night super cozy on an otherwise cold April evening. Well worth the visit and they take reservations for nicer window seating too I believe.

We enjoyed a glass of excellent white wine and some top-quality Parma ham. The wine selection is impressive, carefully curated, and offers great options for wine lovers looking to relax and enjoy something special. This is a joyous and delicious gem of a restaurant that excels in service, atmosphere and beautiful and carefully prepared dishes. We came here to celebrate my birthday and the waitress that served us gave us a shot of a tasty herbaceous amaro and to mark the celebration she joined and also took a shot. This for me underlined the wonderfully relaxed and natural approach of this place. Every dish was so well balanced and stunning to look at. I ate the best mushroom toast of my ENTIRE LIFE here and the gherkin sorbet with goat cheese cream and melon was orgasmic as well. Thank you so much to the team of OMAR for this wonderful night.

All the food was amazing! The atmosphere was great and they accommodated my friend who was gluten free. The value for the amount of food we got was high. I really enjoyed the crudo, the cod and both desserts!

Perhaps my expectations were too high, so the eight dishes didn't particularly impress me. Of course, compared to a typical restaurant, the taste was quite good, but there was too much reliance on sauces for seasoning; perhaps that's a characteristic of Danish cuisine.

FALSE HIGH CHARGE!!! EXCELLENT WINE KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF AWESOME FOOD This is a tough rating. Because everything was perfect here - or almost everything. Unfortunately I did not see it when paying, but instead of charging the price for a bottle of wine as depicted on the menu, a false price was stated on the receipt: “Rødvin fl. åben pris” which was app. 20% higher than the price on the menu. And this fact drives the overall rating to a 1-star experience. When you have to pay, they set up the machine to choose the tip amount. But you do not tip in Denmark! The wage in Denmark covers all service charges. But some restaurants and bars still try to ask you in the hope you do not know, so they earn more money. But again: it is not necessary to tip in Denmark. The staff here is very knowledgeable which makes it a very good experience to drink wine here. Tell them what you like and they will find it. And they do have some very nice wine choices here. The food also is excellent. Really gourmet-like and tasty. So overall an exceptional experience turned bad due to a false high price and the unnecessary request for an tip.

We spent a nice evening in this stylish wine bar near Vesterbro market. The evening was already quite cool at that point, so we ended up sitting inside by the window, even though there were heaters and blankets on the outdoor terrace. We took a snack plate that wasn't very special and tasted some good wines. The service was good, friendly and fast. The interior of the restaurant was very atmospheric. In terms of pricing, the place is not cheap, but the quality is ok. We will come again.

Very nice place to have a good nordic tapas dinner and a very good but mostly expensive selection of wines. The barkeeper recommended us a great wine after explaining our expectation. And that worked out perfectly! The nordic tapas are also great, but more bread than the actual tapas. Still we can very much recommend this place!

My experience at Vinbaren Vesterbro Torv was quite mixed. While the wine selection was impressive and the quality of the wines, particularly the Sancerre, was excellent, the service left much to be desired. We waited for service at our table outside for quite a while, and when I attempted to get a menu inside, I encountered some resistance from the staff. The response I received when asking for a menu was quite rude, which was surprising given that it was my first experience with unfriendly service in Denmark. Once I finally obtained a menu, I was pleased to see an extensive list of wines, albeit listed per bottle. The staff eventually provided me with a menu for wines by the glass after I asked. The Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé I chose were both excellent, though on the pricey side at over 30 EUR for two glasses. Overall, while the wine quality was high, the lack of friendly service and high prices detracted from the experience.

Charming wine bar near the central station and downtown Copenhagen on the edge of Vesterbro and near the lakes. Try the flaming Fanø Sausage - it's grilled on the table and it's quite a sight!

An excellent stop for breakfast. The pastries are a bit dense, but taste good and are very pretty. I would go for the cooked food, which is delicious. I tried the scrambled eggs on toast and the oat porridge with hazelnut milk. Both excellent.

We had 2 x bread with whipped cream and cheese, 1 x blackberry cake and 2 x filter coffee which came to around £21. The pastry was deliciously sweet and dense and the bread was really good. Nice place to watch the world go by. Quite small so difficult to get a table and can feel a bit cramped. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely wonderful cinnamon roll. The quality of tea is superb although for what you pay you only receive a cup. If the weather is nice you can sit outside at the big table in front of the 108 restaurant. The service is a bit slow but if you have time they really care about the outcome of your drink. As it’s part of the 108 / Noma enterprise I believe it is a bit overpriced but quality is of course good and the atmosphere very well curated and relaxing.

Service service service!!! Really not good enough. Tea made out of the hot water from the coffee machine... really? For the price you are paying and taking into account you work with Postcard Teas should be made with more love... also the best cup is not the first flush but they always throw it away... even if you ask them to keep it for you. Food is nice but the vibe is just a bit off... they kept forgetting things the whole time. I’ve been there twice and after this last visit I won’t come back.

We saw a few bad reviews, and honestly, people can be too quick to judge these days (yes, I know, a little hypocritical of me). But truly, this was a great dinner experience. The house cocktail, Bobe, is a drink I carry with me in memory. It lingers like a favorite song; its jazzy and deep yet uplifting and something I already miss. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but they feel fair for the quality and creativity on the plate. The menu felt fresh and exciting. We chose a few dishes from the medium section and one from the big. We loved the flexibility and the freedom to mix and match. This restaurant is what a fine perfume is to the senses. Elegant, layered, quietly sophisticated. And please, whatever you do, get the fries as a side. They are the crunchiest delight🤗

Don’t really understand why this is being rated 3.8 on average. Food, wine list and service are exemplary. You need a restaurant like this in every city. Staff is courteous and attentive, food of good product quality and really yummy 😊. Wine list much too large, but reasonably priced. Lovely location.

We were really looking forward to this meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a table for six, it was in the room where beautiful fireplace is, absolutely lovely feature, cosy and warm. Staff were nice. Food, hmmm. Expected much better. My dish came on two separate plates. There was a lonely chicken thigh on a small plate, like i ordered it as a side. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Stake was smothered with copious amount of black pepper (not in a good way). It was just too much!! Lamb heart did not score very well. Fries were too salty. I am no Michelin star chef, but I know good food. Let’s do better guys. Especially considering the price. There is 4.3% charge for credit card payments, which amounts to quite a bit in this place.

And indeed, I felt like a large and gregarious marine mammal after having feasted what I would describe as the best dinner of my Danish week— which is saying something, given the exceptionally high level of culinary standard in this city. The Chef here needs to calm down. Seriously. Everything was too, and I mean way too tasty. A curry-baked avocado with large and delicately cut almonds over a wondrous white cream? I must oblige. I could’ve easily had five more of those bisque lobster thingies and the ribeye was so scrumptiously sublime it made my whole nervous system jiggle and contort. The wines were on point with the menu. Lastly, the caramelized desert at the end knocked me off my horse. I guess vanilla in Denmark is something of its own accord, altogether different from the rest of the vanillas in the world.

Had high expectations and they were absolutely furfilled: great food, wine and service! If you want to experience high-end Danish cuisine, this is your place to go.

Super delicious food accompanied with some excellent wines. Cosy (Hygge) location that's lovely to just be in. Great place to be with good friends. We loved the feeling and ambiance here. Staff were also efficient and friendly, always smiling. Prices are what you can expect in Copenhagen but well worth it in my view.

Went here just to look around while on a break from a work trip, and was greeted by a very passionate guy who offered me some wine to taste, even after i mentioned i wouldn't be able to buy anything - he just really liked talking about wine. Seems like a nice, personal, passionate place, and definitely somewhere I would go if I were looking for a wine shop in Copenhagen!

Who does it need to reach to get it solved!? I really can't recommend this working space anymore.

The location around the spaces is undergoing an uplift, but there are already some good sources of food within walking distance (a supermarket next door, and a larger one about 5-10 mins walk away), in addition to the onsite cafe. It seems like a nice little community, and I will be sad to leave it when I move along to the next city.
