Shopping
Fisketorvet Copenhagen Mall is a spacious and modern shopping destination located by the waterfront at Kalvebod Brygge. Boasting 93 shops, 20 eateries, and 14 cinema halls, it stands as the third largest mall in Denmark. Visitors can explore a variety of fashionable boutiques, modern cinemas, and an IMAX theater. The mall also features an aquarium and a children's play area for families to enjoy.
Nice and convenient shopping mall located close to our hotel. I stopped by for a quick break — had a good coffee, a fresh sandwich, and tried some tasty Danish pastries Did small cosmetic sevounier shopping too
Buthaina O — Google review
Nice mall, carbon copy of other malls with big box store chains, food court and grocery store. Nice to walk around and highlight is its next to the pier with great sitting area and views of Copenhagen architecture.
Go_c_da_world — Google review
Good, convenient shopping mall with a wide range of stores and solid amenities. Great for a broad browse or family outing especially in cold and rainy weather. However, it doesn’t quite stand out in terms of premium shopping or outstanding service. If you’re after something special or niche, you might find this a bit typical of a modern mall.

A good shopping centre with a lot of options when it comes to stores for diverse commodities. Very well maintained and also adorns a decent size food court with delicacies from different parts of the world. A good place to hangout for both young and old.

Magasin du Nord, a grand department store in Copenhagen, offers a wide range of products and experiences. From stylish leather gloves by Danish brands like Rhanders to gourmet groceries at the Mad & Vin store on the lower level, this iconic establishment has something for everyone. The store's Victorian building houses various shops and cafes where visitors can find fashion items, luxury delicacies, home decor, books, and cozy dining spots.
Magasin Copenhagen is an absolute delight for anyone looking for top-quality products in a welcoming atmosphere. The store offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables—everything from crisp leafy greens and vibrant heirloom tomatoes to exotic produce and seasonal specialties. The selection is impressive: you’ll find staples like organic carrots, peppers, and cucumbers alongside more unique finds such as purple cauliflower and baby fennel.
Raj — Google review
Last-minute shopping before flying off! Coming from tropical Southeast Asia, I found Magasin du Nord an absolutely fascinating experience. There’s a wide variety of stunning, evocative, high-experiential items — everything seems to carry the tiniest artistic texture, color, or shape, creating a sense of wonder that, to me, feels like being in an elite-level department store. I noticed a distinctly Nordic crispness in the designs, and much of the merchandise appears both functional and aesthetically pleasing — a hallmark of Scandinavian style. Some prices lean toward the upper end, though there are also mid-range and discounted options. If you’re a foreign tourist, you may be eligible for an additional 10% tax-free benefit — a nice touch. We ended up on the top floor at Hallernes Smørrebrød, the in-house café and smørrebrød counter, where I enjoyed a “Laksesalat smørrebrød” (salmon salad open-faced sandwich on rye bread). It offered a broad, briny capture of ocean flavor — perhaps a little strong for my tropical palate. To me, it wasn’t quite an orchestra of blended tastes; more like Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss each playing solo, without Chopin’s softer feel. Still, this “mall” (if you can even call it that — it’s really more of a refined Nordic department store) is absolutely a place to experience in Copenhagen. Definitely come.
H. S — Google review
Came in today after trying to place a click-and-collect order online, which ended up being cancelled for some reason. I was refunded, but decided to head to the store anyway and try my luck. Not exactly impressed with the eCommerce experience, but the in-store team completely turned things around. In the kids’ section, two staff members really stood out — one guided me to the Liewood shelves, and the other found a replacement bottle after I noticed the one I picked up was missing its box. Friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. I’ve been here a few times before for Dyson, Liewood, and other brands that are not always easy to find elsewhere. I’m also part of their Goodie loyalty programme, which makes each visit that bit more rewarding. This is one of the few times I’ve felt a full five stars were truly warranted — great service, well-organised store, and a team that actually cares. Sadly, I never got the name of the lady who helped me with the bottle & even gift-wrapped the items. If based on invoice then maybe Emilia!
Omer M — Google review
Large department store in the downtown with a variety of options for everyone. Great complimentary gift wrapping service 👍 nice eatery, coffee shops, supermarket, and bathrooms on the basement floor (-1 floor) 🙂
Bruce F — Google review
Very modern eco friendly themed environment. Lots of people. I recommend the pizzeria on the top floor. Sit at window to be engulfed in the scenery. People are friendly.
VmanDaGr8 O — Google review
Historic department store where you can shop and eat! I enjoyed the view from the 5th floor while having smørrbrød. There are many discounts on clothing and cute souvenirs in the basement floor.

Beautiful and big store from inside and outside, lots of stuff to look at or buy and food available as well.

This iconic shopping destination offers an impressive selection of high-end designer goods, Scandinavian design items, and beauty products from both local and international brands like Baum und Pferdgarten and Fendi.
Bow this is a beautiful department store. Very well presented and simething for everyone. A great rainy day option as you can get the metro to the door to keep dry. Great food optiond upstairs as well. We enjoyed coffee and panins which were fresh and tasty.

Good place to shop for perfumes, especially niche ones. They do need to pay attention to their shelves: most are covered in dust, no cleaned, and disgusting looking. Lots of perfume bottles are empty and sales personnel does nothing about it or about making customers feel welcome
Natalia L — Google review
Being owned by a Thai company , it was a must-see for me. However, after Browse, I realized it's better to shop back in Thailand. The items are just prohibitively expensive; I couldn't justify the cost.🤪🤪

Field's is a modern indoor shopping mall with over 150 stores and contemporary architecture. It offers a great destination for a leisurely day out, providing diverse shopping options and delicious dining experiences. The vibrant atmosphere of the bustling marketplace, charming streets lined with unique shops, and tempting scents of street food create an inviting ambiance. Additionally, the mall features numerous food options on the top floor and playgrounds for kids to enjoy.
Great clean and organized shopping mall. Even smelled clean and “fancy” indoors. Huge parking garage underneath mall. Fun stores for someone visiting from abroad. Bilka grocery store was just fantastic. Humongous and they had anything you could ask for. We ate at a Mexican restaurant on the top floor. Very fresh and neatly served. All tasted very well. Even better than expected, just a heads up /fun fact the food served was more Indian style than Mexican style, but after having a laugh at this fact we continued eating the tasty food, fresh fruit and cake, all self serving from the buffet. Great place to bring your kids. They can play outside the restaurant after finishing their meal since there was a huge indoor playground just outside the seating area. ✨✨✨✨✨

A multi purpose supermarket where you can find almanac every thing! From food to clothes to bikes and electronics! It is a very large supermarket. It is a convenient place as you can shop with freedom. There is a large parking area and other shops in the surrounding.
Eskeatnaf M — Google review
Field’s Mall in Copenhagen is a massive and modern shopping center—perfect for a full day of shopping, eating, and exploring. The standout here is Bilka’s hypermarket it’s well-stocked, spacious, and great for everything from groceries to home goods, it is like Walmart of the US. If you’re looking for toys, BR has a great selection, especially for kids of all ages. I also loved the wide variety of perfumes and chocolates available at several shops—perfect for gifts or a treat for yourself. The mall features a broad mix of international and Danish stores, including: • ZARA • H&M • Normal • Flying Tiger • Elgiganten • The Body Shop • Levi’s • Sportmaster • Matas • Søstrene Grene There are also plenty of cafés and restaurants, a cinema, and lots of open seating if you just want to relax between shopping. Very well-connected by metro and easy to navigate.

It's a great shopping mall that's worth checking out in Copenhagen. Lots of clothing stores inside and a nice range of options for the food court on the top floor. Very clean, easy to navigate, it is right across the road to the M1 station. Not too busy either. 👍

Big, beautiful, modern mall next to Royal Arena and a metro station. A couple of hotels are near by.
Roberto V — Google review
A nice shopping center. Right across a train station. 15 minutes from the city center. It has a good selection of stores inside. Also has a big supermarket that's open until 10pm. Decent options of food in the food hall.
Ivan B — Google review
Fields Mall is a one-stop shopping destination that truly has it all. With an extensive array of clothing, shoes, accessories, and souvenirs, you're sure to find exactly what you're looking for. The large supermarket is incredibly well-stocked, offering everything from fresh groceries to household essentials. Additionally, the selection of games and toys is impressive, catering to all ages and interests. Conveniently located very close to the airport, Fields Mall is perfect for last-minute shopping before a flight. My experience was thoroughly satisfying, and I highly recommend Fields Mall to everyone.

Visitors can explore an array of options including jewelry stores, fashion boutiques showcasing Danish styles, bookstores, and toy shops. Wonderfully sized mall. Have not seen a revolving door for a while so was very nice! All the key retail outlets as well as the supermarket and it is also connected to the Metro.
John G — Google review
A cozy shopping mall with plenty of restaurants, clothing stores, bookstores, pharmacies, supermarkets like Føtex etc. Even if it's quite crowded, the common areas are pretty clean. A heavy storm passed over Copenhagen today and it was so frightening to witness the sound coming from the rain drops falling on roof of the main building.
Laura M — Google review
It's a nice shopping mall located in the middle of the city called Frederiksberg the neighboring city of Copenhagen in Denmark. You can buy groceries there, visit a few coffee shops or buy nice pieces of clothing. You can take the Metro right inside the shopping mall and go directly to the city center or Central Station.

Sushi Lovers Such an amazing experience! Really delicious and beautiful food for a surprisingly affordable price. And a special thank you to our server for being so kind, attentive and generous. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back!
Julie H — Google review
The shopping center itself is nice, but there should be more trash bins on the upper floors. On the ground floor you can find some, but when you go up, there are very few. It makes it inconvenient to throw things away, and the place could be cleaner if more bins were added.
Jens K — Google review
Is label this a fashion mall. It's mainly clothes. There is a well stocked supermarket in the basement, and some pretty good looking places to eat, but it's predominantly clothes, cosmetics and accessories.
Richard H — Google review
It was a nice mall with loads of shops to buy from.... There was clothing, kids shop, electronics shop and food shop... It was huge... And there was multiple option over there to do shopping. The modest shopping mall Amager Centret on Amager island close to Amagerbro metro station and around 30 minutes walk from Freetown Christiania has 65 stores and nine restaurants and cafes. It's a great place to spend a laid-back day shopping and dining.
Very convenient shopping center right next to Amagerbro metro station. Many brands and two large supermarkets. Two stops from the very city center.

Very conveniently located. My favorite wine and gift shop was closed. Also, be careful when driving in and out of the parking. It’s not very spacious, which should be expected in the city center.

It’s fine. There are a surprising number of shops in a small area, but they’re just okay. Nothing to come here for if you’re not in the neighborhood or looking for something specific.
Jason M — Google review
Amager Centret is a cozy shopping center that has many of my favorite stores all in one place – Rituals, Helsam, Normal, Matas, Sportmaster, and more. It’s not too big, so it’s easy to get around, but still has everything you need for a nice shopping trip. The parking is excellent, which makes visiting very convenient. Definitely one of my go-to places for shopping.
Ganna B — Google review
This shopping centre is clean, modern and sizeable. There is a great variety of shops and it is quite sizeable. There are also lots of benches to rest on and the toilets are clean. It is a bit of a maze to find your way around, especially as you can go through some shops and pop out on a different section. The information map was a bit unclear to read. Otherwise, it is fun for a look around and there are many cool shops! There are so many racks to park your bike. 🚴‍♂️

It offers a variety of retail shops, restaurants, coffee bars, and two supermarkets. The shopping center provides good parking space in the basement and is conveniently located near public transportation. Visitors can enjoy indoor seating and lavatories within the center. Convenient for a quick shopping trip. What was so great about it, the location. Also, coffee shop places are really good. The shops are relatively small even H&M, so don't expect everything to be available in store. Still, if you don't have time for an elaborate shopping experience, this place can be a good choice especially if your hotel is nearby.

A shopping arcade right next to the water is a great ambience. Waterfront shopping mall is in the nice location in the city of Hillerup. Rødovre Centrum is a popular enclosed shopping plaza located about 8 kilometers outside the city center of Copenhagen. It is one of the biggest shopping arcades in the area and was the first built shopping center outside of Copenhagen's city center. The mall features around 160 stores, cafes, a cinema, and a playground. Visitors can find everything they need at Rødovre Centrum, from groceries to high-end clothing shops, restaurants, and even a gym.
One of the biggest shopping arcade and the first built shopping center outside from Copenhagen city center. It's about 8 kilometers outside the city center. The shopping arcade is very nice and its located in a very nice area close to the lakes and parks. There are plenty of shops inside the mall from food markets to high end clothing shops, coffee shops and restaurants, gym and cinema. Everything you need, they are almost available in the beautiful shopping mall. There are two level floors of the building plus underground. All are occupied in individual shops. The layout of the building is very nice especially if you're driving through. All the floors have parking spaces which have direct access to all the shops and its convenient and accessible for less mobile people and young children. Highly recommended this place.

The worst shopping center in Copenhagen. I had my worst experience there. Last week I went there to buy my mobilephone... There is something wrong with shops there...All the employees from the ones in bakery to ones in POWER and HUMAC.. are rude.. They do not answer you but tease you or refer you to your own knowledge.. I never ever go there to shop again!!

Spinderiet is a small department store located close to Valby station in Copenhagen. It has around 50 clothing shops of all kinds, including clothing and shoe boutiques, beauty stores and electronic shops. It is classified as a shopping mall, so you can find everything from gifts for loved ones to clothes for your own wardrobe here.
Awesome mall with large outdoor covered space. There are a lot of useful shops all in one place, several cute cafes and it is very family/kid friendly. There is an indoor and outdoor play space for kids and a great changing/nursing room in the mall. A great spot to spot for errands on your way home from work or to spend a leisurely afternoon with the family.

Very nice and cosy shopping center with covered outdoors. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Only minus the playground is only for very young kids.

Nice mall. Wide open outdoors with cafes. Lots of clothing and electronics shops and groceries supermarket. Very convenient place and it located few steps to train station.

Local market with many shops in different categories and many "free events and activities" for adults and children. Today in connection to their 12 years anniversary, they served breakfast, there was dance, face drawing for children and you could make your own cake and take it home.

Poor and slow service and more expensive than near pharmacies
Daniel G — Google review
Great shopping mall with lots of useful stores. There are two different supermarkets, plenty of retail stores, coffee shops , some small cafes and enormously large fitness. The inside yard is under a glass roof so even if it is raining, you can enjoy being outside and not get wet. The buildings used to be warehouses so it gives an extraordinary look to a whole complex.
Toms J — Google review
At Valby station. Fakta and other convenience stores are there. Restaurants, Burger King, branded clothing shops, H&M, etc. There is common place where artistically designed tables and chairs, benches are kept. You spend relax time there.

Better than most shopping centres as it's not as enclosed. Nice not to feel completely disconnected from reality, as you do in most other malls.

Illums Bolighus is a must-visit destination in Copenhagen, showcasing the finest Scandinavian design. The store resembles a museum with its elegant displays of kitchen accessories, gadgets, toys, and furniture. Visitors are greeted by a long white runway featuring objects arranged by color or theme. Despite its upscale ambiance, Illums Bolighus offers products at various price points and features a well-stocked Sale section for great finds.
A beautifully curated Danish design experience—with a few soft seats, please! Illums Bolighus was a joy to explore—packed with stylish souvenirs, elegant ceramics (both handmade and mass-produced), and plenty of Scandinavian charm. The clothing and footwear were especially nice, and my partner found a gorgeous new outfit that’s perfect for her growing pregnancy. 🧡 As for the furniture… well, classic Nordic design: minimalist, beautiful, and about as cozy as a glacier. 😄 We admired, we sat briefly, and we moved on. Also, shoutout to the restrooms—super clean and well-kept, which is always appreciated when roaming the city. Tusind tak! A lovely stop whether you’re shopping, browsing, or just enjoying a bit of Danish design culture.

❤️❤️❤️Loving the lighting area in the upper ground of this building. It’s so luxurious and beautiful collection of lightings. The staff in this lighting area specially this lady that help me is very nice and helpful to me even I don’t look like I could afford such an expensive lighting. We even bought one of the Poulsen pendant light and they arranged and packed very good and arrived in our place which take note in different country❤️ Wish I could say the same to the kitchen and plate area in the ground floor. They are not friendly and rude.

I visited this beautiful department store in Copenhagen and was initially impressed by the wide variety of products and the overall ambiance. I found something I liked, paid for it, and before leaving, I decided to have a sip of water from my backpack and place my purchase inside it. As I did this near the exit, I placed my backpack in one of the shopping baskets next to the security gate, and suddenly, the alarm went off. A young staff member, who had just assisted me with my purchase, approached and asked to check my backpack. Despite finding nothing suspicious, he proceeded to ask me to open my coat and open a smaller bag inside. He thoroughly inspected my belongings again. This all happened in full view of other customers, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. Interestingly, when I passed through a second security gate, there was no alarm, suggesting the first might have been malfunctioning. The staff member did not apologize but simply wished me a good day. This experience left me with a negative impression, overshadowing what started as a pleasant visit. I hope the store reviews its security procedures to ensure customers are treated with more respect and discretion.

This premier shopping shop offers many local and imported upscale items. They have all things baby inc clothes, toys. Strollers and clothing, housewares, candles, gifts, cards, purses and all. I found elegant souvenirs. Ramp added to steps for access. Accessible venues and accessible restrooms and elevators to the other floors. Plan to spend some time
Toni T — Google review
People who like looking at cute Danish props like this will find it worth seeing. People who want to buy souvenirs can probably buy Danish souvenirs here? Of course, it's tax-free. In addition to Danish props, there's also a small Moomin shop. They're having a sale after the season ends. The dishes were really cute. They exhibit and sell various luxury dishes, clothing, bedding, furniture, and other items. Just looking at them makes you want to buy them all.

Absolutely outstanding experience. If you love the best design money can buy, you will not be disappointed. Especially the top floor in the lamp section; you are met by competent, polite and professional staff that will show you the ins and outs of your object of interest with exceptional patience. I cannot vouch for them enough, it is an easy recommendation to spend your money in. I spent a decent chunk of change here and did not regret it and I am sure neither will you. A must stop location!

Stroget is a street where you can stroll around. Stroget sounds similar to Sreoll. Its a good place walk and shop without being disturbed by cars as its a vehicle-free zone located at the centre of the old city of Copenhagen.

Stroget is to Copenhagen what Oxford Street is to London or 5th Avenue is to New York. Stroeget is better because it is a pedestrian street so one can walk freely without any traffic tension. This entire street is full of cafes, bars and shopping stores. It is impossible for any tourist to visit Copenhagen and not come to Stroeget. One can sit in one of the cafe and spend hours just by people watching.

A very nice place to shop. A very extensive car-free zone with many shops and restaurants. The Copenhagen flagship LEGO store is here, as well as many places to get souvenirs. Close to downtown and the harbour. Nyhavn is very close and the hop on hop off bus has stops along the area. Some beautiful architecture and historical churches and buildings. There are many wonderful discoveries around each corner!

I don't really get it. They have security gate to check if the product wafrom the store already. I brought a clothing that I bought from another branch and was insisted opon showing the receipt of that clothing. So if I happened not to bring the receipt, are they going to take away the clothing I bought? I felt very offended and the asian staff was very rude and unprofessional. She even questioned me whether I am from this country. What is it relevant? If I am not from the country I cannot cone in or buy?

I’m always amazed at how poor the customer service is. The staff manning the cash registers greet customers with the most sour of faces. The store feels cramped and not reflective of a high end store they portray given the high prices. The checkouts are rarely manned in off peak hours forcing you to actively roam the store to find an employee to actually buy something. Additionally I have witnessed overly aggressive security staff stop paying customers without merit which is bizarre.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Hans Christian Andersen at the Hans Christian Andersen Experience. This family-friendly exhibition brings to life the timeless tales of this renowned author through captivating light and sound effects. Delve into the fascinating life of Andersen and discover a collection of his classic stories, which are darker and shorter than you might expect.
Fantastic museum! Small with plenty to see. Every room transports you to the book's story, we really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended.
Jose M — Google review
Overall enjoyed this experience aimed at children, but enough back story for adults. Over in about half an hour. It was very dark inside even with the interactions lit up. At one point there was a glass door to push (not sure why?), and down the dark corridor the toilet was situated. Different languages were available on the story boards.
Caroline S — Google review
I was intrigued by this experience and had some time to spare. It was included in the Copenhagen Card which was convenient. The attraction is a walkthrough where you will hear stories from Hans Andersen books like Little Mermaid or Thumbelina. They made a nice interactive display that reminded me of Efteling in Netherlands. Very cute and magical. The only downside was that the experience was quite short because I wanted to see more. I would say it’s a must do for kids and older adults like me that are child at heart.

Located in the same building right next to the Ripley’s Believe-it-or-Not Museum, this quaint little exhibit takes you through the life and some famous stories of the author Hans Christian Andersen. As a lover of the fairytales myself this was so charming and I thought the exhibit was thoughtfully designed and carefully planned out. Creative touches add a unique vibe to this kind of exhibit and I found the time passed very quickly. It was fun for us as a group of adults but I imagine kids would really enjoy it as well- particularly if they like the fairytales!

Pretty cool! Lots of creepy statues that this town seems to love. You learn a lot of history and it is in Danish, English, and German. Lots of cool things to interact with. Free with the Copenhagen card! It's worth a visit. Right near Tivoli gardens as well.
Devin D — Google review
Please do go if you are a HCA fan, even better if you have kids as there is a section where you can stop by and read the stories or have them enacted live. Absolutely went back to being a kid in there. Ripley's Believe or Not! section was also good, quite a few interesting facts such as the tallest human in the world, lizard man and various art pieces such as one made out of toast. Yes, you read that right, toast as in bread.
Francesca D — Google review
A quaint little house, which takes you back in time. Very informative, but not really interactive. The house itself is tiny, it's hard to believe 3 families lived here. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area but it's easy to get confused and end up going to the actual museum by mistake...yup that's what we did.
