Bakery
Juno the Bakery, located in Osterbro, is a popular spot known for its delectable pastries and bread. Founded by Emil Glaser, a former chef at Noma, this bakery has gained a strong following in just under a year. Customers often line up for their renowned cardamom swirls and other treats like crunchy croissants and sourdough bread. Using top-quality organic ingredients, the bakery bakes throughout the day and typically sells out quickly.
Absolutely Amazing – A Must-Visit in Copenhagen! I absolutely loved Juno the Bakery! The apple crumble pastry was sooooooo good – honestly one of the best pastries I've ever had. Every single bite was perfect. I've never had anything quite like it anywhere else. The quality, the flavor, the texture – just amazing. I still think about it and truly hope to go back someday. If you're in Copenhagen, don’t miss this place!
Jcy H — Google review
Seriously delicious. My husband and I came two days in a row and tried 8 different items across our visits— the cardamom bun, milk bread, seeded rye roll (with butter and cheese), pear frangepane, vanilla bun, almond pastry, princess cake, apple tart with vanilla cream. My top picks were the cardamom bun, frangepane, and the vanilla bun. However, I don’t think there are any bad options here. Everything was top quality. One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth a visit (or a few)!
Stacey L — Google review
What a bakery! Lovely place in Osterbro, 10'~15' by bike from the city center. You can takeout or eat on one of the outdoor tables near the entrance. Probably the best bakery I've ever been to. The apple tart is really outstanding if you're lucky enough to find it. A must visit if you're a foodie in CPH! Visited in Sep. '25.
Giovanni C — Google review
Visited around 1 pm on a weekday. There was quite a long line reaching out to the street, and I waited about 30 minutes. There were a few empty outdoor tables, so you can grab a seat while waiting in line. I bought the cardamom roll, almond croissant, and milk bun — all were delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste.
K E — Google review
Very rare that the food actually lives up the level virality and hype that this bakery has received! The cardamom bun easily exceeds the expectations! So delicious! It’s baked consistently throughout the day so it’s always fresh no matter when you get it. What makes delicious is that there is cardamom and syrup laced in inside each crevice of the knot without being too sweet at all. It’s incredibly moist. It’s kept its price consistent over the years even though there’s lines all day! Absolutely a world class bakery Tip: visit in the afternoon to avoid the large queues. I visited at 4pm and waited 5 mins
Leslie Z — Google review
The best bakery in Copenhagen and this is coming from someone who doesn't have sweet tooth. 100% get the cardamom bun otherwise you'll regret leaving without it. There is a cute park close by with benches, would recommend sitting there instead of trying to find space in their small front porch.
Aakarshika S — Google review
The hype is real. One of the longest lines I've seen and been in to get into a bakery in a while. I got the brioche bun that came with apples. It was amazing. Blew me away. I also got a small box of shortbread cookies to go and a milk bun. Worth waiting line or getting up extra early and beating the crowds. Nice neighborhood to walk around afterwards. The new port neighborhood is down the street from this bakery.
Duane B — Google review
One of the most delicious and great bakeries in Copenhagen. Here you will try the real danish pastries. The cardamom one is like tasting heaven.

Bakery
Lille Bakery, located on Refshaleen in Copenhagen, is a cozy bakery that offers a variety of savory and sweet dishes for breakfast, lunch, and occasional pop-up dinners. The airy loft space is filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an inviting atmosphere to enjoy the delicious menu. The bakery's sourdough and rye bread are particularly noteworthy.
Really cozy cafe with a big open space, lots of natural lighting. There’s a decent amount of seating on the top floor that overlooks the kitchen which was super fun to watch. Really good pastries and lots of people were eating their daily lunch that looked really good too. Highly recommend!
Queeny Q — Google review
I won’t come back here again once I travel Copenhagen. I can understand the hype because of the aesthetic vibe but it is a bakery cafe. That means the bread should be good. However, for me the taste was not amazing. Especially the sausage roll was awful. I wasn’t able to have a bite because of the unappetizing flavor. I would rather go to another bakery for better brunch and save time traveling. Most of the reason people come over this place is probably because of pictures. I also came here because of pictures on instagram, Pinterest even though it is very far away from the city center. However, while I was having a brunch here, I heard a staff yell at a customer who was taking a picture in front of other customers. At that moment many people came with professional cameras but they didn’t say anything but only to that asian woman. One of the staff yelled “do not take a picture, respect the privacy”. When I checked her camera, it was a very old digital camera. I mean, I can understand that staffs are sensitive about privacy. Then why don’t you wear a mask or ask all people not to take a picture?
Su — Google review
What a vibe. The place is gorgeous, everything fits perfectly, sooo aesthetic🫶 baked goods are delicious, especially blomster bun (definitely a must try), classic bun with cheese and butter, and berliner were also amazing! It’s really cool that their menu changes often. In my opinion focaccia could have more toppings on top, wouldn’t really eat it again. Filter coffee was exceptionally good, the best I’ve ever tried.
Gabriela G — Google review
Lille Bakery is probably my favorite spot in Copenhagen. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, which makes it feel like a little escape from the busier parts of the city. I went there after a morning run and it was the perfect way to start the day. The pastries are excellent, the rolls are simple but really well done, the berliner is soft and indulgent, and the spandauer has that perfect balance of flaky pastry and sweet filling. I also tried the mushroom roll, which was surprisingly good and a bit different from the usual options. The coffee is from Prolog, so you know it’s going to be solid. Some of my friends lean more toward Andersen & Maillard, and honestly you can’t go wrong with either, but I’m a little biased toward Lille. It just has this calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the morning.
Dan M — Google review
We came here for brunch and good vibes. The atmosphere is great like we have seen in others' photos. However, the brunch and bakery is very simple. Coffee is too light for us. The only thing we like is Egg on rye while sausage roll and brunch plate (bread, butter and jam) are so so.
Praew P — Google review
I was alone and as much as I wanted to try everything I stuck to the famous “not cinnamon” bun. Where they used local herbs instead of cinnamon it was flaky buttery and soft and they had the olive oil pumpkin cake. Both were amazing I wish I was with more people to order more and try all. DONT GO ALONE to try all the yummy goods
Nourah A — Google review
We went with three friends, and we never thought we'd eat such a delicious cake. It was the best thing I've had in Copenhagen. The cake melted in your mouth, and the cream was delicious. It's definitely worth trying 🤝🏻

🥐 Little Bakery on Refshalevej 213B is something special. It’s more than just a bakery - it’s almost a bakery concept. The mix of simplicity and style gives the place a truly unique, communal atmosphere that feels effortlessly warm and inviting. 🍞 The food is absolutely brilliant - every pastry and loaf tastes fresh, crafted with care, and full of flavour. ☕ The staff are fantastic - friendly, genuine, and clearly love what they do. 🌿 A perfect Copenhagen spot to slow down, share a table, and enjoy great bread in great company.

Bakery
Hart, a renowned bakery in Copenhagen, is known for its exceptional sourdough bread and delectable pastries. Founded by British baker Richard Hart, who previously worked at Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, the bakery has four outlets across the city. Whether you visit the original location on Gammel Kongevej or one of the other three outlets, you're sure to encounter outstanding pastries and unique twists on British classics like sausage rolls.
Beautiful bakery with the decent variety in sweets and in breads. Had tried their speciality, bread, butter and cheese (we did not know that you can tell which bread you want as we were visiting for the first time) however whatever bread we got - it was delicious. Simple combination, nicely made. Second we had asked to give the bread and butter combination only. That came with another variety of bread. And it was tasty too. Along with that ordered a tart with smoked leeks. That was also good. In sweets, we tried strawberry tart and cinnamon twists. Strawberry tart was light and with nice proportions. And cinnamon twist was airy and light. As the day was nice and sunny (as usual windy) - could not find a place to sit outside but managed to find one sitting place inside. Please do visit if nearby.
Nilesh B — Google review
Greeted upon arrival and quickly served. We ordered a croissant, chocolate chip cookies, a latte and a cold brew on ice. Service was friendly and helpful; suggested cold brew over the iced Americano I initially ordered. The cold brew was amazingly smooth. So, I'm glad I went with the suggestion. The croissant was not overly flaky, yet the crumb was beautiful and soft. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was chewy with a good amount of chocolate and the perfect sprinkle of salt.
Clyde G — Google review
This is THE first place I went after I touched down and HAD to get the cardomom croissant. Giving it a 50/10 if I can, it’s THAT good that I had to pack 5 of it to bring home to share with my family and friends. Came back a few times afterwards and honestly the service there is top notch, coffee is amazing and just the ambience is great too! Can’t wait to be back!
Adriana — Google review
The best Croissant (cardamom Croissant) I've had and i did have quite a lot of Croissants having traveled some 28 countries. I wanted to mention "one of the best" but im trying to remember how many were nicer than this one. The filter coffee was good. We also took a vanilla custurd pastry, Croissant & Tebirkes for the journey ahead and all of those were amazing. The place was cozy, the staff was humble and took time to give me recommendations I asked for
Rinku A — Google review
Hart Bageri is definitely worth a visit ! Loved the vibe of the place . the cardamom croissant was great, but the tomato feta & olive pastry was the real star. I’d happily come back again just for that 💙
Salama A — Google review
It was totally worth the visit to this place. The cardamom croissant was really good. The location per se was alright because it used to be a meat packing district. But the food was something else. I've never had a tastier croissant. It was different and good.
Vivekananda B — Google review
Great coffee and very nice staff. It’s a self service place. They have different options for pastry but more into breads. It was very crowded and a huge line for ordering. Plenty of outdoor seats but just a few for indoor.
Reza M — Google review
Good coffee and beans by Prolog. Pastries are above the city average. Casual outside seating mostly. One of the few coffee shops around meatpacking district.

Coffee shop
Andersen & Maillard is not just a regular cafe; it's a celebration of the culinary expertise of co-owner and coffee connoisseur Hans Kristian Andersen, and former Noma chef, Milton Abel. The cafe has multiple branches in Copenhagen, but its Nordhavn location stands out with its stunning design by local architect Danielle Siggerud. One of their most popular items is the chocolate croissant, but visitors also rave about their cube-shaped flaky croissant that's perfect for photos.
This is our number ONE in Cph. During our stay we had been there twice. Their breakfast is top quality, especially the egg! Whatever we ate was so delicious: breakfast, cheesecake, other pastries... People working there are kind, helpful and effective. We were lucky that each time we found seating but mind that this is a popular place. Recommending strongly!!! 👌👌👌
Sofia B — Google review
This place comes with a big reputation and it did not disappoint. As an ex baker who has eaten more than his fair share of pastries I feel highly qualified to pass on my recommendation. We visited on a Sunday morning so naturally the place was very busy. The line was out of the shop and down the road but we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we got to the counter. I had already chosen what o was going to have before we arrived. We went for tow of the most popular items made here, the chocolate croissant and the cube croissant filled with pistachio cream. I reluctantly agreed to share my croissant with Gill, a decision I regretted after just one bite. Both pastries were delicious, I’d go back there anytime that I find myself in Copenhagen again and would highly recommended trying them if you are in town. I ordered a coffee almost as an after thought but was blown away with how good it was. By far the best coffee that I had in Copenhagen and worth going there just for that to be honest. The staff were super friendly and clearly enjoy working there. Overall a very good experience, keep up the good work guys.
Paul L — Google review
Went for a light lunch, and the queue was not that long as we have been wanting to try the Cube croissant which was not available in other branches and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. Coffee was also great. Too bad the beans they are selling are a bit expensive. We also liked the fact that they have a tap for still and sparkling water for free. Highly recommend this branch!
Marvin A — Google review
So so good like pretty expensive but honestly worth it and the service was excellent plus loved the vibe of the place. This chocolate caramel cube croissant was divine. I went late and most things were sold out but I asked the server for their recommendation and he suggested this seasonal pastry (got the last one) and honestly it was delectable.
Ana W — Google review
Visited around 10 a.m. on a weekday — the shop was pretty busy inside but there were open seats outside. There was a short line at the counter, but it was fine since I could take my time choosing pastries. Tried the plain croissant and the pistachio cube croissant, and both were super tasty! Not overly sweet or oily like many other places. Really nice spot!
K E — Google review
We lived nearby and went there almost every morning! Pastries are delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of their coffee as to me it is too much on the cacao side. But their other drinks were nice. Staff were always very kind and in a good mood. The special espresso soft serve in half croissant is a killer.
Samuel C — Google review
Very big and spacious Café with fresh breads and good coffee. I went for breakfast and got a latte and a breakfast plate which were both very good. I also sat and did work for another few hours and the environment was nice easy to focus in, but also lively.
Emma T — Google review
i tried the marble slice cake and it was very expensive but it’s copenhagen so im not even surprised anymore. the chocolate coating was really hard, crunchy, and cold, and the marble cake inside was very dense too. the coating also had crunchy nuts in it (peanuts?), which was a nice touch. alongside the chocolate cream on top, it was a pretty sweet dessert.

Conditori La Glace is a renowned Danish pastry shop that has been a beloved institution in Copenhagen since 1870. The elegant and old-school patisserie is famous for its elaborate cakes, baked goods, and desserts, attracting sweet-toothed visitors who are willing to wait in long queues just to experience its delights.
The food in this restaurant is very delicious. Each person starts with a delicious soup, and the special shared meal for two is very delicious. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the restrooms are very neat and clean. The instant handmade pizza is very delicious. Whether it is lamb, lamb rack, chicken wings or pizza, they are all worth a try. In addition, the waiter's attitude is very good, which deserves 100 points. It is very good.

This is a dessert lovers paradise. Pastries, cakes and more. They have so many to choose from. No wonder it gets very busy. The staff were so amazing and helpful in every way. The coffee was good and the cake was delicious. You will come back for more. Highly recommended 👍🏼
Ala A — Google review
Probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had, and it came with a free refill! I was on a mission to find the best cardamom bun in Copenhagen, and the one I had at La Glace was my favourite. Lovely atmosphere, elegant yet friendly. Would be very happy to go back on my next visit!
Jo S — Google review
Hmm cakes are disappointing. They are too sweet for my liking. The only nice touch was the signature cake’s puff (on the side, looking like golden ball) that was coated with layer of caramelised sugar - it provided a crispy texture before you bite into the soft puff. I had the best decadent hot chocolate drink in Melbourne, coco black. So this is just average liquidy drink. The other chocolate toffee pastry was just way too sweet to finish. As what some others have shared, one would expect more for the high price. This didn’t hit the spot for a dessert lover like me. Down the road - Bertels Salon’s cheesecake had better cake texture and well balanced sweetness.
Kelly F — Google review
We visited based on all the recommendations and ordered the Sportskage and Georginelagkage. The Sportskage was too sweet and creamy for my taste, but I preferred the Georginelagkage, which was better. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the variety of options. However, I found the cakes themselves to be somewhat ordinary and not particularly unique, especially given their high price. Interestingly, the prices are not listed anywhere, which seems to be a deliberate choice.
Ati S — Google review
Best sportskage and hot chocolate I tried in Copenhagen. Magrethekage also delicious. Was too full to try the cookies which is also very famous. Should definitely do it next time.

Very amazing little cake shop. I wanted to try everything but only got a few items the coffee was also really delicious. I would recommend trying this place with a group so you can get a bunch of different things!

Cafe
Apotek 57 is a popular brunch spot in the capital, known for its charming Danish atmosphere and delicious food. The eatery is located within Frama, a stylish apothecary-concept store in the Nyboder District. Italian chef Chiara Barla curates a rotating menu that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients.
After having eaten those excellent pastries here I will not be able to eat the Swedish buns anymore. The Danish buns, especially the cardamum buns at Apotek 57, are at another level. So soft, melting in the mouth, so delicious! We loved the waffle with pouched egg, the waffle was crunchy outside and soft inside. I recommend also the iced matcha latte and the scones with blue cheese and onion. We will definitely go back there!
Sofia B — Google review
I had the savoury waffle, blue cheese scone and an iced filter coffee. Everything tasted great, I’m still thinking about that scone☺️ The staff was nice and friendly, happy to speak English, which I appreciated. Would definitely come back!
Valeriia S — Google review
Sooo good, we went back for more. In fact, it’s one of the only spots that we visited TWICE on our trip to Copenhagen. I can safely guarantee that we’ll be dreaming of our pastries & drinks for years to come. Highly recommend.
Josiah K — Google review
This spot is a must for danish brunch and lunch. The menu is simple, vegetarian and very delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit hectic. The queue can last for around 15 minutes outside of the café. But it is definitely worth the wait. Some long tables are meant to be shared among customers, so if you don't like the idea of sitting right next to a stranger then this place might not be for you. I would recommend to get a warm apple juice with cinnamon, it is very comforting. Right inside the café there is a design shop that sells items used in the decoration of the café!
Sofia N — Google review
We visited this lovely little bakery yesterday — everything was so cozy and beautifully presented. The pastries were absolutely delicious, freshly made and full of flavor. They only serve filter coffee, which was nice, but we would have loved to see a bit more variety on the coffee menu. Other than that, everything was perfect! ☕🥐
Aria H — Google review
There is nothing to dislike about this place (except maybe the prices)! I love that it pairs with the Frama design store where they even sell the cups and plates the restaurant uses. I absolutely love the vibes in here. I would have stayed all day if possible! I ordered the savory waffle and the danish. The filtered coffee was really good too! If you only go to one cafe while you’re in town, make it this place.

Such a beautiful breakfast spot! Kind staff, high-quality food and even vegan butter when I asked. Perfectly furnished and cozy, great for weekends—though we had to wait around 30 min on Saturday. Totally worth it!⭐️
Annika D — Google review
Waited 45 minutes which was not worth what we got in the end. Even though we finally got a table we were then told to go to the counter and place our order which altogether was another long wait. The bread was great but cheese was dried out and pastries not as good as other places otherwise meals were very simple. I gave it the 3 stars for the ambiance and staff who were very sweet despite all the people queuing up.

Bageriet Benji, located in the trendy Norrebro district of Copenhagen, is a labor of love owned by Rasmus Kristensen, a former head of bread and cakes at Noma. Named after his son Benji, this bakery specializes in sourdough bread and pastries. Rasmus can often be found behind the counter, personally baking loaves and crafting delectable treats like vanilla-filled spandauer pastries and almond croissants.
Our first stop in Copenhagen, and wow, it didn’t disappoint! We tried the cardamom bun and the coco, both were truly divine. The space is small, with just two seats by the window, so it’s more of a takeaway spot. Despite the abundance of bakeries around, we definitely highly recommend Benji. It’s a must-visit for anyone who wants quality and delicious bakes in the city!

Had the coco pastry which was incredible and so unique. The plain croissant was also very good! Great bakery, just wish they served other drinks besides filter coffee and had more seating. This is more of a takeaway place

Newly opened and very cute interior. Only filter coffee and nothing too special about the quality pastries 🥐 good bread, pastries etc. I was happy for the owners seeing a long line of people. Similar bakeries like this are in the rest of Copenhagen, but only one in that area. I hope they evolve, have a bathroom soon and a better bike ramp. Would be so nice to have them long term there

3,5* We had high expectations of this bakery after reading the reviews but the experience was underwhelming. The place is really small as well as the variety of pastry. We wanted to buy bread but decided to not to as it didn’t look appealing. We tried cinnamon a kardamome buns - very strong flavour in both. Good but not spectacular. No bathroom. Only filtered coffee. Disappointing experience due to high reviews and expectations.

Amazing pastries! However there’s very little space to sit indoors, also the amount of pastries displayed is very limited!

Well, it was a bit late, around 2:30, so some products were sold out. But we were lucky to have some things to eat there. Well, the bakery is very small and there are only 2 seats; no plates or fork or knife for eating. But the taste was good and I liked that; it was a bit too expensive but it was ok! Sure you can find cheaper in city.

Benji is such a cute cozy spot! The pastries are amazing, super fresh and delicious, especially the Brunsviger!! One of my favorite spots for sure!

This lemon poppyseed roll blew my mind. While the traditional pastries are good, we wanted something different and opted for this lemon poppyseed pastry. The lemon flavor was exploding throughout

Meyers Bageri is a delightful bakery located in Jaegersborggade, Copenhagen, founded by Danish chef Claus Meyer along with a baker and confectioner. The bakery offers an array of delectable pastries and treats that are highly praised by visitors. One of their specialties is the chewy and spicy brownie cookie developed by head pastry chef Nina Aastrup, which pairs perfectly with afternoon coffee or Christmas mulled wine.
That’s a lovely small bakery for a takeaway. Super sweet girls working there!❤️ I had apple fastelavnsbolle 48 kr and it was delicious, people who love apple pie would LOVE this one! However I went for the one with dried plum “sveske” and they sell it only on Friday :( And other fastelavnsbolle I saw on their insta they sell only in Frederiksberg one. So unfortunately choice is limited but tastes great!

One of the most reliably delicious bakeries in Copenhagen! Their kanelsnurre is my all time favourite, ESPECIALLY when it is fresh from the oven- the sugar caramelises in way that is addictive and perfectly balanced with the dough. I would also recommend their foccacia and madbrød which I’ve had in the past. The staff are always really nice and helpful too. My favourite way to enjoy is by taking a nice long walk through Assistens after you purchase :)

If you happen to get a cardamon bun fresh hot out the oven it'll be the best you ever tasted. They have many other treats (sweet and savory) unique to their bakery too.

Cute little bakery, which feels a bit like a basement since it's a couple of steps under street level. The cinnamon roll that I took looked great and was still fresh even though it was already late in the afternoon. It was tasty but not as outstanding as other pastries that I've had in the city. I had the impression the cinnamon was not very well distributed, which made some parts of the bun a bit sweeter than others. It's a pity they only offer filtered coffee and no steamed-milk variants. There is no space for indoor seating, but you can enjoy your coffee standing at the counter.

The small bread rolls (for example sesame seeds) made my German wife happy and reminded me of eating a NY sesame bagel. The cinnamon roll and poppyseed pastry great as well. We went here 2-3x during our stay in Copenhagen Nørrebro.

Andersen Bakery is a laid-back bakery in Copenhagen that specializes in artisanal pastries, cakes, and breads. It's known for its impressive technique and pastry skills, as well as eye-catching presentations of luxury fastelavnsboller. The bakery offers a variety of treats including perfectly formed candy-colored cakes and sweet pastries.
Quite possibly one of the best bakeries in Copenhagen. So good that we went twice in one day! Good service at the counter. In the morning they had a wide selection of fresh pastries available. In the afternoon there were savory baked goods, foccacia sandwiches and dessert treats for sale. There's limited seating available inside but if the weather is good there's enough seating outside.
Prinesh R — Google review
Cozy bakery/cafe offering a wide selection of breads, pastries and cakes. The only vegan option is a mango chocolate cake. It was delicious, fresh and not too sweet. The dark chocolate went very well with the mango/passion jam. The coffee was okay for a bakery. If you are looking for great coffee you’d be better off going to a proper cafe. They offered oat milk yet not decaf. Water available. Toilet available.

**A Top-Tier Bakery with a Charming Waterfront Location** Copenhagen has a vibrant and competitive bakery scene, with many excellent options (and some that are not). The Andersen Bakery chain has long been one of our favorites, consistently delivering high-quality products. The range here is a significant strength, showcasing the best of Danish baking. They master everything from the light and fluffy 'teboller' (tea balls) to the dense, dark rye breads characteristic of Scandinavia. The bakery also offers several unique creations, such as a mini loaf of dense rye bread studded with chocolate chips—a combination that works surprisingly well. This particular location in West Amager is especially charming, with its proximity to the waterfront providing a lovely setting. As a minor point of feedback, we did find one item, the mistle cookie, to be overly sweet for our personal taste, but this is a small note in an otherwise excellent selection. With its Japanese roots and unwavering commitment to quality, the Andersen chain continues to stand out as one of the best bakeries in the Danish capital. We have written hundreds of reviews across five continents and have reached the highest level of reviewers on Google, ranked better than more than 90% of all reviewers. As ordinary consumers, we are not compensated for this review. We strive to provide fair and reliable assessments based on our experiences, hoping that the business will take them into consideration.

I came here as it was a highly rated bakery in the vicinity of the highest rated TripAdvisor (a rival reviewing site) bakery in Copenhagen (Hart Bakery). I decided to compare the bakeries by getting a signature cardamom pastry, and seeing if they'd fill up my water for free. The cardamom pastry from this bakery was one of the greatest pastries I've ever had. I have had 4 cardamom based pastries recently, and my sweet lord this was divine. A perfect level of strong cardamom uniformly throughout the pastry. The sweetness was perfect to match complex aromas of the cardamom, it was beautiful. They did also have a tap for me to fill up my water bottle, easily accessible by the door. The water was quite tepid, but my friend got water after me, and it was much colder. On the whole, a wonderful bakery, with so many delicious baked goods, truly a sight to behold.

I visited Andersen Bakery craving something sweet. Unfortunately, I came after 4 pm, and almost everything was sold out. Luckily, there was one last rhubarb pastry left—waiting just for me—and I had to have it. It was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee. I’ll definitely try to come earlier next time to taste more of their pastries. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow. Absolutely loved the food and the coffee. Wish I had a hallow leg to eat more food because every bite was better than the last. Very busy place, and it was a little loud but can still have a conversation. Tables fill up quick so be aware.

We came here a few times, because of the delicious bakery selection and seating. I can say no pastry is a bad pastry here. Matcha iced latte was not great, it was far too milky. Prices are a bit on the high side but worth it.
Yasir — Google review
Wow, this bakery is easily a contender for the best bakery I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot of bakeries. We had the rhubarb croissant and this cinnamon bun. They were insanely delicious! Their pastries are very decadent yet not too sweet, with a nice balance of flavors. If you want a decadent sweet treat, this is definitely the best spot to get it from in Copenhagen. All the other pastries that we didn’t try, looked just as delicious.

Collective Bakery is a new addition to Norrebro, opened in 2021 by the Coffee Collective team. The head baker, Michael Craig, uses locally sourced Danish ingredients to create pastries and sourdough bread. Their baked goods are designed to complement a cup of coffee, such as the citronbolge (lemon wave) and kardemommeflet (cardamom braid).
Rented an AirBNB near the Collective Bakery and popped out for a pastry and coffee this morning. I’m so glad we found this gem! Simple atmosphere and Fantastically Delicious breakfast: cheese bread (read that from another review, get the sesame seed sourdough version!), cardamom twist bun, rhubarb and cream pastry. I will return to America and I know I will replay this breakfast over and over! Thank you for great staff, great food and great coffee!

A great cafe offering both outstanding pastry and coffee. I tried the cheese pastry and the pitaschio pastry, both tasted awesome. The coffee is also great and reasonably priced. However as a tourists, I hoped they have an English description of the pastry menu. Nevertheless, great cafe for a hearty coffee and breakfast.

Really nice BMO at this place. The cheese was great and the bread equally so. Also had their filter coffee which I really like. Butter was nothing special. You know a BMO is amazing when the bakery brings out the whipped butter. Also didn’t have a customer toilet which kinda sucked

Skt. Peders Bageri is a charming bakery housed in a historic building, known for its delectable cinnamon rolls, breads, and sweet treats. The establishment is famous for its irresistibly gooey and traditional cinnamon buns that are a must-try for any visitor to Copenhagen.
I absolutely loved it 10/10 I have eaten it every morning during my stay in Copenhagen My favorites are the raspberry and blueberry, 100000/100000. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Crispy and flaky on the edges and soft, sweet, sour, fresh, fruity on the inside Would definitely recommend it with coffee (matcha with the raspberry one!!) The inside of the cafe was cozy and small but couldn’t find a spot to sit
Maryam Y — Google review
This bakery is absolutely incredible - we tried 4 items and each one was its own distinct delight. ~ 10 seats inside and there will be a line, wait in it - you would be a fool to do otherwise. Great coffee, lovely staff who were happy to describe the items in English, despite the busyness. We came for the cardamom bun, which was everything we hoped for, but the raspberry & poppyseed pastries were even better! Got back in line for a pumpkin seeded roll - snacked on it all day - heaven!

Finally got to try this bakery, the oldest in Copenhagen! We went by on an afternoon, so unfortunately a lot of products were already sold out, but still got the chance to try their cinnamon roll (still warm!) and a couple of pastries (the one in the picture is with pistacchio). Really nice texture, especially the cinnamon roll, not too dry, chewy and moist, really nice! They have just a couple of seats and tables, might get crowded very soon, also no “proper” cups for coffees, just to go paper cups, be aware. Also congratulations on the Børsen Gazelle ・ᴗ・

It’s funny — before coming to Copenhagen we heard about 2–3 popular bakeries, but we had never seen this one mentioned anywhere. We actually found it by chance while passing by, decided to step in, and ended up coming back every single day after that :) We tried almost all of the pastries you see in my photos, and every single one was delicious. As a pistachio lover, I was blown away by the pistachio pastry — the best I’ve had since Italy. Honestly, the big-name bakeries with multiple branches in Copenhagen don’t compare to this place. A true hidden gem!
Oğuzhan G — Google review
Overall: best pastries I've had in Copenhagen. The pastries were so tasty, I had to go a second time! Unfortunately my almond croissant on the second time was burnt but all the other pastries were good. The space is tight so it's not much of a sit down place and I personally was not a fan of the latte (not much flavour in the coffee).
Brandon L — Google review
I tried the cinnamon roll and the Danish pastry, and they were so delicious that I went back again on Wednesday morning. There was almost no wait during my first visit, but the second time I waited about 20–30 minutes. Everything was great — especially the Danish pastry, which I highly recommend!
K E — Google review
One of the best bakeries I've eaten from. The pastries are divine. Tried their crispy cinnamon rolls, sausage roll, salami pizza, cardamom bun, one of the croissants with almonds on top chai latte and espresso.
Leah P — Google review
The pistachio and chocolate croissant is hands down my favorite pastry from here. There's usually a little bit of a line, but that depends on what time you go. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There isn’t much seating inside, so it’s mostly takeaway, but I recommend enjoying your treats in Ørstedparken. Also, heads-up: the almond croissant I had was a little dry and burnt, so I’d probably skip that one.

Bageriet Brød, a local bakery in Enghave Plad of Copenhagen, has been serving its community since 2012. This summer, they've introduced their own homemade ice cream with classic flavors like fior di latte, white chocolate, vanilla, strawberry sorbet, and the favorite chocolate brownie. The ice cream and waffle cones are made in-house; the buttery-flavored cone has a crispy cookie texture reminiscent of krumkake.
We are on the hunt for the best bun and cheese and this place was highly recommend to us, with good reason! The seed bread is crunchy, the cheese was dry aged and tasty, but the star of the show was the butter.

Really friendly staff and cozy interior. However the cardamom bun I had barely tasted like cardamom, it just was sweet bread, I couldn’t even bring myself to finish it because it was so dry and bland. The coffee was good tho. Maybe I will come back but I certainly wont get the cardamom bun again 6.5/10 not too sure if I would recommend this to someone

The bakery aims to not only cater to hotel guests but also become a hub for the local community, drawing in pastry enthusiasts from nearby neighborhoods with its delectable bread and pastries.
It was our best breakfast place in Copenhagen. We have been there twice during our stay. We went for the classic Danish breakfast called the Morning Plate, folded eggs and some pastries. After trying most of the well known bakeries, this place is definitely one of our bests. The whipped butter in the morning plate is heavenly, we liked that it’s unsalted. The apricot and cream filled bun is really great, it has a thin layer of dough and a delicate amount of cream filling. All the other pastries are nice and buttery. We also had a chance to have a nice chat with the pizza chef during our breakfast about Copenhagen, it was a nice connection for us. We would like to try their pizzas one day.

Tucked inside what looks like a fairly corporate hotel, this Danish bakery is actually a cool, design-led gem. It balances polished interiors with a bit of edge. The folded eggs are insanely good—rich, buttery, and best with a side of bacon (well worth the extra). Espresso was strong and spot-on, orange juice freshly squeezed, and the cinnamon pastry? Unreal. A brilliant breakfast spot that feels both refined and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Copenhagen.

Buka is a charming bakery located just a short walk from Nhavn. The cozy eatery offers an all-day menu, classic baked goods, and a selection of espresso, wine, and beer. Guests can enjoy watching the delicious pastries being made through the storefront window while savoring their treats at one of the outdoor tables. Visitors praise the warm welcome from the staff and highlight the heavenly pastries on display.
A must-visit! If you’re visiting Copenhagen, Buka is a spot you simply cannot miss. I came here for breakfast and had the vanilla raspberry croissant, and it was absolutely out of this world. The pastry was crisp and flaky, the vanilla cream was rich and silky, and the raspberry added the perfect burst of flavor. Easily one of the best croissants I’ve had anywhere, not just in Copenhagen. The café has a modern yet cozy vibe, perfect for starting your morning or taking a quick break during the day. Seating inside is limited and it does get busy, but that only speaks to its popularity. Even if you have to take it to go, it’s worth it. 👉 Traveler tip: come early in the morning to avoid the rush and to get the freshest pastries.
Ankitha C — Google review
Super overhyped. The positive reviews of this place don’t reflect the reality that there are just much better bakeries in Copenhagen and other capital cities, even in Asia, that this place cannot hold a candle to. Pastries are a far cry from what I’ve tasted even in the far east. What a disappointment. They lack the finesse and care that go into the best bakeries. Croissants are surprisingly soggy and the crusts lack the crisp structure you are promised when you close your eyes and imagine what to expect when you see the unjustified lines outside. Even upon sight of the almond croissant, you can tell something is just mid about everything. It’s not a disaster, but it’s just fine, normal and nothing to shout about. The cardamom brioche smells of a wonderful warming embrace, and the scent fills you with the anticipation of the perfume to fill your mouth, but the texture and slight sogginess of the pastry itself just lets that wonderful aroma down. Maybe the pastries just need to be toasted freshly before you tuck in. The coffee is weak and lacks any body. But they use good quality milk that salvages some of the experience. There are plentiful other cafes and coffee shops to get a better caffeine fix. The saving grace was the charming and pleasant team of young adults who run this place who are polite, have easy smiles and are never flustered despite the long queues that from outside at times.

Cannot miss out on these pastries!! We came in the morning and got the pistachio croissant - now I love croissants but I’m not one of those pistachio girlies…. Until now. I get it. I get the hype. This is another must-visit spot when you’re in Copenhagen. The bakery offers a variety of delicious pastries, especially their croissants. Unfortunately, when I visited, the pistachio croissants weren’t ready yet. It’s a small shop with limited seating, but if you come early enough in the morning, you might still find a place to sit. Most people tend to grab their pastries to go.

An excellent bakery Everything is homemade and delicious, my favorite will be their sandwiches, the bread they use is really one of the best breads I’ve ever tasted in terms of texture and flavor. Their signature pastry is also very very good Lots of tables outside to let you enjoy the surrounding views

Personally Food: the pastries and cake are generally good with right sweetness and some unique take to the traditional danish pastries. The prices are on a higher end of bakeries but not super expensive. Plenty of drinks selection to choose from. They have some water/garden and indoor seating. Service is good. 2 things to improve: 1. the speed of service, time is precious, its not fun to use substantial time lining up on a weekend morning, especially when one is also paying for parking 😔 2. Presentationg of the pastries need improvement, they look almost burned/ overcooked and unappetizing even in the morning…

An absolute gem of a place! Was recommended by friends living in the city. We came on our last morning in Copenhagen and had the amazing famous cardamom bun / croissant and picked many other things including the lemon poppy seed cake. Wow. What great pasties, bread and baked goods. Everything was perfect and went so well with a cappuccino! The staff were incredible too! Definitely coming back!

Many branches throughout the city but this was the one visited by the TV series The Bear. Pastries are very nicely done and the cardamom croissant is one of the nicest one I’ve tried in Copenhagen. When the weather is good, the alfresco seating area by the waters is really nice. There are even some deck chairs just by the side of the water’s edge. Worth the visit if you’re in the area.

Hart Bakery was gem during our time in Copenhagen. The croissants were some of the best we’ve ever had perfectly flaky, buttery, and full of flavour. Every pastry and baked item looked and tasted incredible. The cozy, relaxed vibe made it the perfect stop for breakfast or a mid-morning treat. Easily one of the highlights of our trip and a must-visit for anyone who loves great pastries
K — Google review
Hart has become a Copenhagen institution, and it’s easy to see why. They’ve got several locations around the city, and no matter which one you go to, the quality is consistent. Their style leans more toward laminated and flaky pastries, and they really nail it. The croissants and other layered pastries are buttery, crisp, and just really well made. I also enjoyed their cinnamon roll, which had a nice balance of sweetness and texture. Beyond pastries, their breads are excellent too, with a depth of flavor that shows the care they put into fermentation. The coffee is solid as well, making it a good all-around stop whether you’re after breakfast or just a quick pastry and coffee. The shops themselves feel modern but approachable, and it’s clear the focus is on the craft.

Københavns Bageri, located in Carlsbergbyen, is a renowned bakery known for its sourdough-based baked goods and unique pastries. The bakery's signature kringle stands out for its use of croissant dough and a filling made from vanilla, French prunes, brandy, cardamom, and nuts. During Christmas, they offer a special version with traditional holiday spices.
Amazing pastry! I have also tried a cheese sandwich, which they prepare on the go. It was so good that I literally daydream about it sometimes. I would probably come here everyday if i could’ve. Definitely a must go in Copenhagen.

I think this was the best bakery I’ve ever visited in my life. The freshness and flavors were incredible, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The best pain au chocolat I have ever had! Beautifully laminated, satisfying crunch with a soft interior and a rich, dark chocolate spread. This bakery works love and magic into their croissants getting both the softness and crunchy flakiness that makes for the most delicious pastry! Definitely worth repeated visits!
Vahagn Y — Google review
Some of the best baked goods I’ve ever had! The Kringle was divine and the cardamom bun left me wondering why I only bought one.
Nadia A — Google review
The products are good — I especially loved the cinnamon roll. But the almond croissant was really bad; I think they should remove the orange flavor from the cream. The apple-walnut one was also very nice. The breads were overproofed and too flat, but their color and baking level were good. The atmosphere outside is terrible — it feels like eating a croissant in a sci-fi movie. Inside, though, it’s nice.

The most amazing cinnamon bun I ever ate. Croissant paste, not too sweet with a lovely cinnamon ending. Really good bakery and a service.

Really tasty pastry! I got the cardamon bread and it's soft with excellent bouncy mouthfeel, great cardamon flavor without overpowering it, and perfect sweetness! Also got the poppy seed bread with butter and cheese -love the bread. Amazing.

Seks is a vibrant cafe-restaurant located in Copenhagen, owned by a Polish couple who infuse their menu with flavors from their global adventures. The establishment offers an all-day breakfast and lunch experience with a 100% organic, vegetarian menu that includes vegan and gluten-free choices. The cozy interior of Seks exudes a blend of Japanese and Copenhagen vibes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons to savor delicious food and drinks while enjoying attentive service.
Sunday brunch hours not that much of a long wait, after checked in we went up to the round tower and our table is ready. Love the cinnamon roll and sourdough scrambled eggs. Tek!

Absolutely delicious breakfast / brunch restaurant in the center of Copenhagen. It is popular, so it is likely that you'll have to put your name to the list and queue outside for a while. The menu incorporates the Polish origin of the owners and blends inspirations from the kitchens of the world, taking you to Turkey, middle east or South America. We loved everything on the menu - probably Turkish Cilbir being the star of the brunch, but deconstructed breakfast burrito or shakshuka (called sekshuka at seks) were great aswell. The bread is freshly baked and you can get some appetizers with polish spread or with cheese and pickles (ask for the "illegal" ketchup version).

Love love love this little jewel of a place, one of my favourites in Copenhagen for sure. Love the story of the owner, the choices for the menu and the atmosphere, so warm vibrant and welcoming. They always have the best selection of drinks and beverages.

Very nice two polish girls, so warm and welcoming🫶 the avocado limo was very good (and Im saying this as a person who doesn’t like avocado) and mango lassi was very rich in flavor. the pastry was heavenly as well, freshly backed🤤 the whole place has such a cool, hygge vibe, highly recommended

We went to the cafe on Sunday for breakfast but the queue was out the door around to the side street. The girls working there didn't want to look up or greet people while they were busy and no wait list or anything you can get on so no way to know how long the wait was when the staff didn't want to talk to anyone. We left and gone to the Social Brew close by. As the cafe was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, we stopped by again on Monday to see if we can get a table for breakfast. You get the menu from the courter and ordered there and go find available table. The food was good but a little small, we had 3 dishes to shared between the 2 of us.

Best breakfast in Copenhagen so far! Everything we ate were so delicious. Especially avocado-lime lemonade 💘 We loved the atmosphere of the place and the menu as well. Hope we can comeback again for desserts and coffee 😋

I first visited a year ago, and my experience this time was quite similar. The service wasn’t great, probably because they seem understaffed – too many customers for them to really go the extra mile and be kind. The food, though 🤩 On Thursday, I tried the mango lassi to go (though served in a plastic cup). On Friday, I had the scrambled eggs – good, but nothing special. The gzik was pretty good, the chai was delicious, and the surprise cheesecake was also a nice treat. On Saturday, I went for the smørrebrød with salmon, which I really enjoyed. The avocado lemonade was also delicious.

Rondo is a charming bakery located in Norrebro, Copenhagen. The owner, Thomas Spelling, fulfilled his dream of opening a neighborhood bakery to complement his wine bar. Situated across from a school, it attracts parents dropping off and picking up their kids. The bakery offers delectable pastries like croissants and wholegrain rye slices for breakfast and prepares mouthwatering focaccia with tomatoes, olive oil, and anchovies for lunch.
Really good pastries; especially the savoury ones. Only issue is if you come too late they run out of good items.

Good sourdough abd BMO, but they have only one option of coffee - filter. They can add milk of course, don't expect Latte, cappuccino or drinks like these

Got their feta n spinach pastry (bcs the reviews said that the savoury ones are rly nice) It was ok. It’s defo one of the nicer ones but not as exceptional as I was expecting.

The sourghdough buns are super delicious. They only serve filter coffee, but if you like that, it’s a good one!

Cheese and leek buttered bun with cheese. Perfection as we know it. It sounds simole but is out of this world divine flavour. Good filter coffee!
Jade — Google review
Savoury pastry (40DKK) I was actually asking for another pastry (with onion, parmesan, and mushroom) but somehow got this one with spinach and feta. My fault for not realising until much later. A lot of people recommended Rondo’s savoury pastry to me but this one was just decent. It is nice to finally try out non-sweet pastry in Copenhagen for sure, however the spinach tasted weird cold and feta made the pastry soggy. I can’t help but feel like I should have asked for BMO or focaccia sandwich instead. Cinammon roll (35DKK) Very flaky pastries compared to the sweet bun version (more like a bread than pastry) I usually eat. I did find it a bit too sweet, though Rondo’s version had an interesting lemon twist to this classic pastry. It was nice, but not something I would repurchase.

Galst Bageri is a hidden gem in Copenhagen, located in Osterbro behind the city's soccer stadium. It's not easy to find, as it's situated in the dining room of the team. Erik Galst, a former accountant, changed careers and started baking bread for the club where his son played soccer. The bakery offers delicious cinnamon buns and excellent sourdough bread.
Having devoted myself to finding the best BMO in town, Galst Bageri was high on my list—and it certainly did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded every expectation! From their variety of buns to the perfectly crafted sourdough and the charming bakery setup, I was hooked from the moment I walked in. I’ve already returned several times since my first visit and can’t recommend Galst Bageri highly enough!
Inger H — Google review
I enjoyed a very delicious and generous portion of coffee, bmo and pastry at Galst. I also got some sourdough bread to take home, it was a perfect balance of crispy and soft! ⭐️ The staff is kind and friendly. I even had a quick chat where I got recommendations and good information about the menu and the breads. I would recommend this delicious little bakery!

While it might not be the best bun with cheese in Copenhagen, it’s still worth a visit. Their cinnamon bun, however, was outstanding!

Almost 5*! The buns were incredible. One star down for the coffee - poor taste. We came around 45 mins before closing time and they still had wide selection of pastry. Only bread and buns were sold out. Nice staff. No toilet. Bad coffee, otherwise, great place and will come back to try more. :)

The best cardamom and cinnamon buns I had during my month in Copenhagen. Get there early for fresh buns — they’re best when warm, basically melt in your mouth! Coffee is solid, and their bread is delicious as well. Outdoor seating only.

Came close to closing to try the cinnamon and cardamom rolls. They did not disappoint but are no Juno. That being said, they are cheaper. They gave us two extra rolls because they were closing soon so very much appreciated!

AMAZING service. The woman working yesterday (Saturday) was so kind to us and took so much time with us as nervous/unknowledgeable tourists to explain the different pastries offered in the bakery. Also, given how expensive bakeries are in Copenhagen, Galst was much more affordable and frankly DELICIOUS!

This is such an adorable little bakery! And my personal vegan HEAVEN! So many delicious pastries and goodies to choose from. And many vegan treats etc in the shop as well! We shared a vegan chocolate croissant and it was a buttery chocolaty DREAM! There are no seating options available but you can take it to go, walk over to the botanical gardens, grab a coffee to go on the way and have yourself a little (solo) pastry date! PLEASE give this absolute gem of a bakery a try! Even if you are not vegan since it‘s simply DELICIOUS. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Some of the most beautiful (and delicious!) pastries you’ll ever eat. It’s off the beaten path so it’s not laden with tourists, which was a bonus. The young woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful—her recommendation of the moka pastry was incredible! Also, don’t pass up the gluten-free free pastries. They are surprisingly bouncy and not heavy or dense at all. Will absolutely return if I’m ever back in the city again.

It’s okay bakery in Østerbro with pretty pastries, but I am not a fan of such dough so fastelavnsboller were good but not something I’d want again. Blackcurrant one unfortunately didn’t have this real intense berry taste. Hot chocolate was a bit weird on taste, didn’t like it as expected. Maybe other pastries there are amazing but I tried only 2 fastelavnsboller. There are some seatings inside but no bathroom as it’s quite small
Malenkaya N — Google review
Super delicious. Although it’s a bit expensive I feel like it’s worth paying for the meticulous and delicate work that goes into their products. We tried the fastelavns bolle, as well as one of their lemon merengue cakes. Both were great, but since I am a big fan of citrusy desserts, the lemon takes the first price. I really found the outside of the fastelavnsbolle super interesting. It was like one big macaron, but crunchier and chewier. Great place for a pricey coffee date, and that’s not meant in a negative way. I mean it is expensive, but you also get some quality stuff. I enjoyed it a lot

Kaf is popular for its high-quality coffee that complements their culinary offerings. Additionally, the cafe serves homemade cakes and pastries, with a variety of vegan options available.
It’s a very nice little caffe with great and friendly staff. The sourdough buns are really good as well as the yogurt with the homemade granola. Also, the hot chocolate is amazing which is made out of their homemade ganache. However, personally I cannot recommend the ice tea since it was too bitter and sweet at the same time for my taste.

The perfect bakery cafe, especially for vegans/people with dietary restrictions! I came here as a regular for a quick vegan pastry or to come and read and get a coffee with a friend. All the drinks and menu items are so high quality. Every server was so friendly and loved talking to them! They had the best pastries ever, not an exaggeration. As someone who is allergic to dairy and eggs, I so so appreciated Kaf and their amazing pastries. What a lovely vegan gem in Copenhagen! An understated but stylish little cafe with a delightful selection of beautiful pastries and small dishes, plus a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. Highly recommend stopping in here for a try of some wonderful pastries- as good as any of the non vegan ones (better, actually!) Super kind baristas and servers here, everyone is so so nice and we were made to feel very welcome. The wonderful outdoor seating area is a huge plus on the sunny summer days - a truly lovely vibe here, I highly recommend this spot to everyone!

A must stop for any vegan in Copenhagen. Before ordering we were all double checking if everything was vegan because it looked too good to be true, but yes, everything is plant based. The pastries are incredible and give you a chance to taste the typical products and the cakes are light and tasty and the savory menu is great for brunch. Generous portions, nice staff and great prices. Can't wait to go back!

This is a fantastic vegan cafe! I really enjoyed chilling under the tree and having delicious food. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The menu is wholesome. The place has inside and outside seating: right next to the cafe or across the street and under a tree, which was lovely. It's located in a quiet area and it's a laptop and tablet free zone, which is refreshing to see. I had a toastie, matcha latte, and because I couldn't decide for desserts and everything looked delicious, I had the cheesecake and the strawberry tart. Everything was delicious but I must say, that strawberry tart is dreamy, super super awesome. I highly recommend visiting this place when you're in Copenhagen.

HEY GUY!! It’s me again, this time from Copenhagen. This little coffee spot really took our hearts 💕 STAFF - the staff was really nice, both girls were speaking fluent English and were so helpful. FOOD - they use just the premium coffee so that was really refreshing ✨also homemade cakes - cheesecakes. There not so many options with baked good but still, I think everyone will find something that suits them 🤍

This was the absolute highlight of our Copenhagen trip - good coffee, and absolutely amazing pastries and bread. The rhubarb pistachio pastry, the strawberry croissant and the pain au chocolat especially stood out among the sweet treats, while the cheesecakes didn't really blow us away. They also have sourdough bread rolls, which were so good we had to get another one. While there are only a few seats inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating in front of the store and under the trees across the street, which was quite nice. But beware of the pigeons ;)

Perron is a charming bakery and pizzeria nestled in the serene surroundings of Banegaarden. The establishment offers delectable sourdough bread, pastries, and pizzas made with top-notch ingredients. Visitors can revel in the cozy ambiance while savoring their culinary delights. Despite its slightly higher coffee prices compared to other places in Copenhagen, patrons appreciate the rich flavors it offers.
I had an unexpectedly delightful meal at this cozy neighborhood restaurant, where I tried the portobello sandwich and the soup of the day, a squash and tomato soup. The flavors in the sandwich were amazing, and it turned out to be a dish I thoroughly enjoyed, despite it not being something I would normally order. My wife and I split the soup and sandwich, which were perfectly balanced together. The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere and seemed to be a popular spot for locals, with only a few tourists like myself. I particularly loved the setting, which was tucked within BaneGarden. Though the garden was mostly dormant in December, I would love to return in the summer when the garden is in full bloom. In December, the main draw was the holiday market just next door to the restaurant. There were a nice collection of handmade crafts to browse after a great meal.

We booked the buffet by mistake trying to book the buffet for banegarden, but it was a good experience anyways. The boiled eggs, baked tomatoes and pancakes were out favorites. We asked for coffee outside the buffet menu, it was a bit too milky but good! Booking there is always a good choice cause you can find the place a bit crowded sometimes. We will come back if we are around sydhavn again.

Disappointed. We were supposed to eat brunch there and wanted to sit outside. The outdoor area seems nice at first sight, but most tables were dirty, either from previous morning guests or with pizza boxes and beer cans from the evening before probably. I had to clean the table myself since I couldn't get in touch with the staff - everyone was too busy. We later decided to drop the brunch because of the a-bit-too-chaotic experience (though the buffet looked great) and to take something to go. The same person taking orders at the counter was preparing them (including cutting buns and buttering them) so it was not particularly efficient. You could tell the staff was a bit under pressure. We got pastry and buns with cheese that tasted good.

Extremely cosy bakery in the midst of a nice Green area. We were 8 people and we didn’t have a booking and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. I really liked their coffee (a bit more pricey than Copenaghen average) but extremely flavoursome. The baked goods were all really good. I loved the apple and cinnamon pastry tart. It was flakey and buttery! Cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer to get breakfast outside

Delicious and fresh homemade cheesecakes. They r really light and have many selection. Coffees also good. The staff were too kind and helpful, location is good they also have large second floor. The prices high but worth it.

This place offers a great selection of cakes, all rich and flavorful, with a variety of options to choose from. The coffee and tea selection is also good, making it a nice spot for a break. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere downstairs is cozy. However, the upstairs seating near the toilet can be unpleasant due to the smell, which takes away from the experience. Prices are on the high side, even for Copenhagen, which might not make it the best value, but if you’re looking for indulgent cakes, it’s still worth a visit.

We wanted to visit Bertels Salon, as the place has the reputation of the best cheesecake in Copenhagen. Unfortunately that put the bar really high, and for us it generated high expectations - which they didn’t really meet (sorry to say). I mean, the cakes are ok, but nothing exceptional for our taste. We tried the Chocolate cherry, the Bounty and the Blueberry Vanilla - the third was the best. Chocolate cherry is huge. Bounty looks half of the Chocolate cheery in size, but just right. The place is in an old townhouse, has its old charm. Worths a visit - although a bit pricey.

I would give the cheesecake here 4.5 star out of 5. It is American style cheesecake but it is light and fragrant. It has a near melt in mouth texture. Enjoyed it with hot tea on cold day. But the best melt in mouth cheesecake that I had was from The Alley in Penang, Malaysia.

Only address for homemade cheesecake! You understand that your cake is prepared daily and totally homemade. I love berry one! You can sit in front of the shop and watch people when enjoying your dessert 🍰

Heard about this place on the podcast Off Menu. So had to give it a try. Superb cheesecake, a great selection to choose from and all with lovely, friendly service. It’s definitely worth a visit!

I had the largest matcha latte I’ve ever seen, and as someone who tries matcha everywhere, I absolutely loved this one! The cheesecake was also delicious. I recommend sitting on the second floor for a lovely street view.

Bakery
Hart Bageri is a popular bakery in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, founded by Richard Hart, the former head pastry chef at San Francisco's Tartine, and Rene Redzepi, co-founder of Noma. After finding success with sourdough bread at Tartine, Hart moved to Copenhagen with the support of Redzepi. The bakery is known for sourcing its impeccable sourdough for Noma.
Good coffee and Croissants, especially the Cardamom one was delicious and different to what other bakeries offer. Now I will say, when you enter the bakery something about the presentation isn’t just quite right. We were close to walking out because the pastries didn’t look appealing but glad we stayed as they were delicious. It’s not as visually pleasing but worth trying. Wish I’d tried the sourdough which looked amazing!
Anna — Google review
Hart was one of the bakeries we wanted to visit while in Copenhagen. The bakery has good reviews and we were excited to taste and test it out. Seattle now has world class bakeries and we were hoping this one will be good or better. We tried a sausage roll, chocolate croissant, quiche, raspberry tart and cardamom croissant. Most notable was the raspberry croissant. The rest were greasy and lacking the quality of a French bakery. Unfortunately, the quality and creativity were lacking. The sausage tasted like a greasy cheap burger shop product. Realize they have a good following of customers, so maybe you should try them out while in Copenhagen or you are discovering Copenhagen.
Viren A — Google review
A great spot for something sweet and a good coffee. They offer a nice variety of pastries, and the cardamom bun stands out as especially tasty. . There are also options with different flavors, like rhubarb, which were also quite good.
Álvaro F — Google review
The one and only review you need for Hart. Go in. Order anything on their menu. Have your tastebuds ready. Enjoy. Seriously, the stuff is proper good. The only negative is you’ll not be able to have everything in one sitting, but then again a reason to return! Loved the cardamon croissant. But the sesame bun with butter and cheese just hits different.

No seating except 2 benches on the outside. Great pastries and great service. The filter coffee is not great.

The cinnamon swirl is light, sugary without being overly sweet and has a nice flavor profile with the spices. Flakey but not dry. Fantastic place to go early morning (yes I'm taking Nanami around the world like he deserves)

I might be the outlier here but the cardamom bun didn’t wow me, it was cold and lacked flavor. Kind on underwhelmed

This bakery is a real find for those with dietary restrictions. They have gluten free and dairy free options, as well as a wide variety of sweet and savoury foods. The coeliac in the group was very happy with their selection!
A growing number of major cities now have a dedicated gluten free bakery, but because they're still such a rarity, we always make a special point of visiting one when we can. With a long day exploring Copenhagen ahead, we planned starting here for breakfast before heading to the Palm House when it opened nearby. It's such a cool place, there are blankets at the wee tables outside if you need them, and the food was great. My daughter, also gluten free, and my son, who isn't, both thought the croissants were the best they'd ever had.
L E — Google review
Absolutely love this place! The gluten-free pastries are incredibly delicious – you’d never guess they’re gluten-free. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick and efficient. Perfect spot if you're looking for something tasty to go. Highly recommended for anyone – not just those who are gluten-sensitive!

📍 H.U.G Bageri, Copenhagen Completely blown away by you 🤩🥐✨ If you’re searching for gluten-free bakeries in Copenhagen, look no further! H.U.G Bageri is a 100% gluten-free bakery that delivers on both taste and presentation. For anyone with gluten sensitivities or dietary restrictions, this place is an absolute dream, every treat is crafted with care and bursting with flavour. We’ve tried countless gluten-free pastries over the years, but this bakery truly raises the bar. The soft, sweet, and indulgent pastries here are a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. Every bite is a reminder that gluten-free doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour or texture. Here’s what we tried: 1️⃣ Cardamom Bun – perfectly balanced spice and sweetness, with delicate flaked almonds on top. Soft, fragrant, and utterly addictive. 2️⃣ Poppy Seed Pastry – a slightly savoury twist with a crisp, golden exterior and a soft, fluffy centre. The layers are perfectly baked and melt in your mouth. 3️⃣ Carrot Cake Muffin – moist, flavourful carrot cake topped with the creamiest, richest icing. This was our absolute favourite, a true gluten-free dessert masterpiece. The staff are equally amazing! Huge thanks to Silas, who gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel so welcome. The bakery itself is charming, inviting, and Instagram-ready, with every detail thoughtfully crafted. For anyone visiting Copenhagen who loves gluten-free pastries, bakery treats, and sweet snacks, H.U.G Bageri is an absolute must. We’re inspired to try bringing a little of this gluten-free magic back to South Africa and recreate some of these incredible flavours ourselves!
Chloë A — Google review
A gluten free bakery that delivers! So much of what passes for GF in baking is functional, rather than tasty, but even to this non GF pastry lover, the quality and taste of the baked food was excellent. An essential stop for all people on a GF diet who have longed for decent pastries, or even for those who just appreciate a good bakery.
Stephen S — Google review
Best cinnamon roll ever!! Everything was so delicious i even doubted it being gluten free. The bread and cheese 10/10. I regret not buying more stuff
Celina M — Google review
This super cute bakery is a delight, with fresh croissants that are perfectly flaky and buttery. The staff are incredibly warm and love to chat, which adds a friendly and personal touch to the experience. It feels like a place where everyone is welcome. The outdoor seating is right in the sun, making it a perfect spot to relax and fully enjoy yourself with a coffee and pastry in hand. The vibe is easygoing and cheerful, and everything we tried tasted freshly baked and made with care. A lovely little stop that is definitely worth a visit if you are nearby.

Dedicated gluten free bakery- perfect for coeliac! Very cute little bakery- tried a few things: Mocha cake was insanely delicious, creamy but not heavy such great texture and flavour! Also had the pain au chocolate which wasn’t my favourite… the brownie was very rich almost fudgy Tried a date and cardamom bread swirl which wasn’t quite dense but very nice flavour- made me wish I had bought some proper bread from there as the texture was excellent!
Thalia B — Google review
I found this amazing gluten free bakery by chance, thanks to the recommendation of another bakery that was closed when I contacted them. The treatment I received since the very beginning was close and kind. And their products are amazingly good. They have a wide offer of breads and pastries that look delicious. And all they I could try was so good that made me travel in time back to when I could eat gluten, more than 23 years ago. I think the almost permanent long line they have at the door to get their products says it all. Don’t worry for the line, they have enough for everybody!

The cakes at this bakery were delicious. It was nice that they were kept in the refrigerator so that the whipped cream wouldn't melt, so I could eat them cold. The shop had plenty of seating and was quiet, so it was nice to sit and chat. Sometimes when I want something sweet, I think of the cakes at this shop.

Cupcakes were delicious, but they are NOT vegan. My wife is lactose intolerant, and after the first bite her stomach began to hurt. So really a shame that you advice it as vegan, when it is not. That brings the final experience down, unfortunately

Bake my day prepared the cake for our wedding reception, and we couldn’t be more happy with the result! We ordered online, the communication was fast and friendly. The flavour we picked was delicious (passionfruit + berries), and the decoration was exactly how we requested it! Thank you @bakemyday, you made our day even more special!

Really amazing staff and ambiance, the place is just lovely and adorable 🤗. Donuts were yummy 🍩 and the cupcakes as well 🧁, I tried like 4 of them as they were looking crazy good and couldn't help it:) I felt like the cupcake were a bit dry, but the frostings were absolutely delicious!! Incredible bakery! Tomato pastry was my favorite bite of the morning. Had to order the bread and butter for the train ride and did not regret that move.

We had a very good cinnamon bun in the morning and it was still slightly warm. Lots of butter on the bottom, squishy and soft. Delicious flavour from the added lemon peel and butter but it was a tad greasy which I’m not sure is like other cinnamon buns. Still great. Takeaway only as it’s in the market hall.

We tried out the focaccia which was very oily, and cold. Probably not the best that could be. Not sure how fresh actually was. The staff member was friendly and answered few questions, however the serving process is quite slow, and the waiting time is high around lunch time.
Laura M — Google review
Their bread is top notch! Get a freshly baked one and asked for butter and cheese!
Bugra C — Google review
Good focus on local ingredients and nice to have a variety of savoury/ sweet items to try each day! Tried two kinds of foccacia, probably made with Nordic varieties of flour, and with a French/ seasonal) approach to toppings (Onion/ ramson + fresh cheese) Centrally located in Torvehallerne, no seating options so takeaway is recommended. Chocolate milk/juice is also available for takeaway.

I certainly understand that this bakery would like to rid itself of burnt and not-fit-for consumption products, however, selling them at full price to my unsuspecting wife is probably not the best way to do so. If your employee sees the bread is burnt, why package it and hand it to a customer?

Danish gem. Very nice coffee shop. It is exactly what you are looking for in a coffee shop as a “tourist” the coffee was also great. I had a caramel iced latte and one of the cinnamon bun/breads. 10/10 recommend this place for food, service, and aesthetics.

This café has multiple branches across Copenhagen and is definitely a must-try! If you miss it during your trip, don’t worry—they also have two branches at the airport, making it a perfect last-minute stop before your flight. The best items I tried were the Direktørsnegl (a delicious chocolate roll) and the Kanelstang. I also had a salmon sandwich, which was fresh and flavorful. You order at the counter and receive your items immediately—super convenient if you’re on the go. The coffee line moves quickly, and they also offer free Wi-Fi, which is a nice bonus.

Located very centrally for tourists (me) and they have an screen ordering system for pickup. But the pastries were delicious and we always had great service. We went back several times to try all the different kinds because they had such a wide selection.

Polite staff, really good food. The pizza dough is not flat like regular pizza so it’s very tasty, fluffy and soft. They heat it up when you order and it is very good. We spent around 210 dkk for the two of us, including the hot chocolate (great), black tea (great). We ordered coffee the other day which I don’t recommend. The place is great, and you can sit and eat inside.

I stayed in Copenhagen for four days and tried all the ‘popular’ bakeries, this is my last stop I randomly found on google map and they have the best bread! -Amazing service! I was serviced with big smiles and detailed explanations of the bread. -The bun with oat and fruits is really good, even without butter and cheese, soft and chewy. The tebirkes is great too, not too oily or sweet and with great taste of the poppy seeds I would definitely highly recommend this place!
Ag E — Google review
I’d prefer to message directly, as I’m sure this can be resolved easily, but there’s no email or contact number available. Unfortunately, I received moldy cheese with my bread this morning. I u nderstand some cheeses involve mold intentionally, but this clearly wasn’t a blue cheese. I’m just hoping for fair compensation—happy to help improve things going forward, and update my review upon resolution.
Ollie H — Google review
Coffee was good, but I got a bun with cheese and mold. I went back to the counter to tell them, but the server very confidently assured me that it was perfectly normal… And it also wasn’t a blue cheese according to her. Never in my 4 years of living in Copenhagen have I experienced mold with the cheese you get when ordering a BMO. Am I missing something? I’m also not the first one experiencing this at this place, according to the reviews. Never ever going back!
Ellen V — Google review
In today’s bakery world in CPH, Bageriet B sticks out very positive! Not only do they serve great flavourful sourdough bread, delicious BMO and delicious coffee. They even have a great clean and maintained production area. How many bakeries have I seen already, where I wondered how they are even still allowed to produce food in such environments? Friendly staff, helpful bakers, clean tables, friendly service. Really a very positive surprise! I will be back.
Raphael B — Google review
Really nice neighborhood bakery and coffee shop! The space is welcoming and the staff is very kind! We loved the baked goods, they were perfectly baked! The coffee although was very acidic for our liking. Both the americano and cappuccino were tasting almost sourish. But that’s just the blend and style of the coffee. Very nice overall!
Ayush B — Google review
The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. It's not on the top 5 list, but it's a place we enjoyed a lot, with local customers in a nice neighborhood.
OZAN G — Google review
Quite frankly the prettiest and tastiest bakery I’ve been at. They have plenty of seating, the natural light falling inside the store when the sun shines is great, and my god the food is amazing. I had the almond croissant after months of dieting and I can’t tell you guys how much I savored that croissant. It was amazing. The crunchy outside paired with the beautiful filling on the inside was to die for. I’ve found a new favorite bakery. 30/6/24 Edit: Went back and had a sesame bun with their Søbo Cheese. The bun was absolutely fantastic, but I have to admit that the søbo Cheese is very lackluster. It’s way too mild and uninteresting. A BMO is a salty umami treat but the cheese is way too mild and boring. I really hope they switch it out. When that’s said, the actual baked goods are still top tier

Love Kafeteria in SMK - I hsve visited many times and I am never disappointed. I am super sad about the negative reviews and low rating. The food is delicious, especilly the daily menu. The pastry is okay, not exceptional (except their cookies). Good quality and wide selection of drinks. The only downside of this place are the crowds of people - it is hard to find a place to sit, literally every time. And because people do not clean after themselves, the tables are dirty. Prices are average for Copenhagen standards. And the portions are huge! And yes, I do love the pancakes. ❤️🥞

Now called Magnolia. We paid DKK 355 for 2x small portions of mushroom salad straight from the fridge with cold toast on top and two glasses of water. Avoid this place, their pastry looked nice enough though.

Hart Bageri is a renowned bakery chain in Copenhagen, known for its exceptional sourdough bread and top-quality baked goods. The newly opened branch on Islands Brygge boasts a Nordic interior and continues the tradition of offering high-quality pastries. Among their offerings are black sesame cookies, lemon-cinnamon swirls, and cardamom swirls.
Came to try their cardamom bun, and had a few other pastries and cakes . For those intimidated by cardamom, not too worry it’s more of a subtle flavor. Cute place to sit outside and people watch in simmer.
Ahmad Z — Google review
A stylish bakery that’s become popular for its high-quality pastries and breads. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, and it’s a nice place to stop for a coffee and something freshly baked. Many of the items are creative twists on classic pastries, and when they’re at their best, they’re truly delicious. On my visit, some of the pastries were very tasty, but the cardamom pastry in particular was a bit burnt that day, which was disappointing given the bakery’s reputation. Still, the overall quality and attention to detail are clear, and it’s easy to see why this spot is loved by locals and visitors alike. If you’re nearby, it’s worth stopping in to try their bakes, but like with any busy bakery, quality can vary depending on timing and the day.

Delicious pastries and great coffee. It's a small bakery, so there's not much sitting place inside or outside. There's plenty of space in the park (alongside the slot) just across the road. So it's really easy to get everything as takeaway. It's really busy on weekend mornings so just be patient in the queue, it's well worth it.
Prinesh R — Google review
Honestly loved this bakery. They don’t have a huge menu, but what they do have is really good. The cardamom croissant was tasty flaky, warm spice, not too sweet. And the spandauer was pure buttery happiness. Cozy lil spot, feels friendly. I’d absolutely come back!

I tried their other branch on Frederiksgade and had to come to this one too, since I think this is the branch they filmed for The Bear. The pastries here are just as amazing, beautifully made and absolutely delicious! I tried the Fig Tart and it just melted in your mouth. I can’t wait to bring my partner here next time. Definitely a must-visit for pastry lovers!
Kwang S — Google review
We saw the highest rated bakery on TripAdvisor (a rival review site) was real close to our hostel, so we got on our merry way to check it out. We also saw there was a higher rated bakery on Google maps right next to it (Andersen Bakery). I decided to pit the two against each other with the two most important features of a danish bakery, their cardamom signature pastry, and if they filled up water for free. The cardamom croissant I got from Hart Bakery was unfortunately quite overcooked. This made it quite crunchy, not really what you want. The cardamom flavour was very subtle too, quite weak. I did get a coffee, and it was quite nice, nothing special, but I had to wait quite a while for it. They did fill my water bottle with ice cold water for free, which is absolutely lovely. My friends had pastries from here, and enjoyed them, but all agreed my cardamom croissant wasn't up to scratch.

My favorite place to grab coffee and cakes in Copenhagen. It’s a small coffee shop with a nice girly magical atmosphere. There’s some tables inside but it’s quite limited. I had an iced tea which was delicious. My husband had the iced latte which was also delicious. We also shared two cakes : one bear shaped cake which was a kind of Millionaire shortbread with caramel inside. Very delicious! And a marzipan cake with red berries. It was also delicious. Everything was perfect and we had a great time here.

Located near the metro station and other tourist attractions. Have passed through this cafe multiple times before finally giving in and trying their coffee and cake. Honestly, the coffee is not the best the area could offer, we tried the bear designed cake with caramel filling and what seemed to be a popping candy inside? (might be good for others but was not entirely a fan of how sweet the cake is) 🐻 Very good for taking pictures but this may be targeted for people who really likes bitter coffee, super sweet desserts, and overall aesthetic of the shop. 🎀

Definitely one of the best fastelavnsbolle you can get in Copenhagen! Also, the most expensive. 75 kr for 2025. Sandwiches are also nice, very unusual as it’s croissant dough.. and very expensive for the size. There is not much seating inside and doesn’t feel cozy either, all is pink tho which is cute. But more for takeaway pastry. Staff could be more friendly, but it’s in general for Danish places 🙂

Tivoli Gardens is a 19th-century amusement park located in the heart of Copenhagen. It features an antique roller coaster and a live entertainment program, making it a magical and traditional attraction. The park is the second-oldest operating amusement park globally and one of the most popular seasonal theme parks, attracting nearly five million visitors annually.
Absolutely great place! All decoration changes every season and it’s a perfect place to have photoshoots here. I have a subscription and often bring my tourists here for photo shoots. The place is full of locations like from a fairy tale. But I only post my last visit here at night (I didn't try my best this time 😁) You can check more of my work on Instagram ninelzakaryan_photo

An excellent park although off to a skeptical start when I saw the first ride we went on had a member of staff on to "pull the brake". Lots of rides to suit all with a fair number of "tummy turners". Queues were small and the facilities such as food and toilets were at a good standard. We used the Copenhagen card to get in but you need to pay extra for the rides. Was quite cold when we were there so dress appropriately. The teenage kids enjoyed it so that's a thumbs up !

Had such a fun day at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen! The autumn vibes were magical, and the park looks absolutely stunning as the lights come on in the evening. I highly recommend going late afternoon so you can enjoy it in daylight and then see it sparkle at night. The food was delicious, the rides and attractions were super fun, and the whole day just felt so cozy and special. A must-visit for anyone in Copenhagen! 🎡🍂✨

Went here for the halloween themed gardens, it was amazing. So much to do for all ages. Rides, show for the little children, pumpkin carving, amusements, stalls to buy gifts and plenty of food and drink stalls. You can go in and out if you get a stamp and there's plenty of shops nearby. Was a great day out.
Jade M — Google review
We visited just before Halloween and had a great time. The decorations and while atmosphere just felt special. I initially thought that the entry and ride ticket was a little expensive but it certainly wasn’t, only major queues were for food outlets at meal time which is understandable. Download the app and you can also have free copies of the ride photos, something completely unheard of in our native UK. Highly recommend and a highlight of our family trip to Copenhagen

Beautiful theme park in the city center of Copenhagen, Denmark. My Danish friends told me that It was the inspiration of Disney’s World. Lovely theme park with various rides and attractions, bars, ice cream, candy shops and restaurants as well as souvenirs and artisanal shops. I came here in October so the park was lavishly decorated with Halloween theme 🎃🎃🎃. It was packed even on weekdays. I tried Demon, the 🎢 rollercoaster (the queue was 45 minutes for a 1 - minute fun ride! 😇) and we had fun! We also had wonderful dinner in Mikkeler Færgerkroen restaurant. Fun attractions include the old wooden rollercoaster, fatamorgana, carousel, boat ride, Ferris wheels 🎡, swinging carousel, bumper car and more. The tickets are available online as well as through Tivoli app. You can get the passes as well, starting for the standard pass for 12 months to silver, gold and wild card. Get more details on their app and website. Single ride tickets are also available, from 50 - 60 DKK. Watch out for the health and safety limitations for the rides. Toilets are available here and there. Some parts are flat and ♿️✅ disability friendly, but some parts have stairs.
Indah S — Google review
Great experience. Was really nice walking and enjoying all the Halloween themed corners. There are some nice food stalls and also some nice cafe and restaurants so that makes it a really nice full experience with the haunted houses and all the rest of the amenities. Great overall.
Inc C — Google review
Great day out, rides were good. Went on a few couple times. Wait times were around 30mins which wasn't too bad for most rides. Food was priced reasonably inside the park and you also had the food hall next door so had a few to choose from. Will definitely visit again when visiting Copenhagen.

Takeout Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Kongens Nytorv area of Copenhagen, Restaurant Palægade is a culinary gem that celebrates Danish cuisine with its exquisite smørrebrød, or open-faced sandwiches. Since its inception in 2016, this charming eatery has captivated locals and visitors alike with its commitment to quality and flavor. The menu boasts over 40 varieties of smørrebrød, featuring everything from traditional herring to succulent tenderloin topped with mushrooms.
Quite possibly the best smørrebrød I’ve ever had! We didn’t have a reservation and tried to get in on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant was packed and we waited for about 15 mins for a table that didn’t show up. Lucky us! Highly recommend the dishes here that we have tried. We liked it so much we wanted to order a 2nd portion of the tomato dish but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed. We enjoyed our time here so much we are planning to visit again, hopefully for dinner in the next week.

We had the tasting menu in September 2024 when visiting Denmark, with some adjustments made by the chef to make it halal for myself and my husband. And they kept it normal menu for my in-laws as they are not Muslims. Was very accommodating and friendly staff, they keep your glasses full and stomach satisfied. My father in law recently visited Copenhagen for work, and dined the restaurant again and loved it again. It is also very reasonably priced and very filling. Highly recommended!

I arrived without a reservation, and even though the restaurant was full, they managed to accommodate me. The food was delicious—I ordered the course menu. Handmade bread was delicious, , but butter was too salty. Some plates took a bit long to arrive, but it was worth the wait, all were delicious! Service was excellent

Five star food, and top notch service. Superb oysters! Fabulous craft beer. But after this delicious pricey meal, I ate an entire hamburger with fries in our hotel room, because the restaurant’s portions are sooo small.

We stumbled on this michellin star restaurant by accident with no reservations but were seated with no wait. Incredibly child friendly for an 8 year old though no kids menu. No pretentious dress code. Food was delicious. Even my picky child ate the food. Portions are small. They recommend 2-3 plates per person and they do charge for water.

Hands down, the best food I had in my Copenhagen trip. The famous open bread sandwich was out of the world. Excellent service too.

I visited alone but all the staff were welcoming and attentive, so I enjoyed relaxing time. Monkfish had like a bit of posh French taste, so was luxurious meal. Could say the best place in Copenhagen.

Cake Heaven is a cafe located in the middle of Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. They serve delicious cake and coffee, and are known for their handmade chocolates. The cafe is very popular with tourists and locals alike, who love spending a relaxing afternoon or evening there.
Cakenhagen in Tivoli is an absolute gem, deserving all 5 stars! The wonderful and welcoming staff always make me feel right at home, adding a special touch to each visit. The cakes? Simply beautiful and bursting with flavor—every bite feels like a celebration! And what could be better than enjoying lovely champagne and bubbles while being surrounded by the magic of Tivoli Gardens? It's a truly enchanting spot where I find myself returning time and again. Every visit here feels like a joyful tradition, and I can’t recommend it enough!
Daniel A — Google review
Visited in April 2025. We tried the Cakenhagen cake, træstamme, espresso and cortado. The cake selection was nice, the cakes looked great and tasted good, but not as good as you'd expect based on how they look. The coffee was delicious though. Service was fine and the place is very nice. Overall, I'd be happy to stop by again next time I'm in Tivoli, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Later edit: visited again and tried the Tivoli cake and the lemon pie. Both were rather disappointing. I think I'll stick to admiring the looks of the Cakenhagen cakes from now on, since they look beautiful, but the taste and texture don't live up to expectations for me.

We always frequent this place everytime we are in Tivoli. Can get quite crowded inside during the winter time. The Mine is always a delight to eat and the Hibiscus tea is nice for the warm days. Not the cheapest but always worth the visit. Servers are often friendly and will always bring your orders to the table.

An absolute gem inside Tivoli Gardens, Cakenhagen offers an amazing experience for dessert and coffee lovers alike. This place truly stands out with what I can confidently say is the best iced latte in Denmark—perfectly balanced, smooth, and refreshing. The cortado was equally amazing, rich and bold with a silky finish that coffee aficionados will appreciate. Their variety of desserts is impressive—not only in presentation but also in flavor. Each creation brings something unique to the table, from light pastries to indulgent cakes, all crafted with clear attention to detail and taste. The staff and service were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and always attentive without being intrusive. Whether you’re relaxing after a stroll through Tivoli or stopping by specifically for a treat, Cakenhagen is a must-visit spot that effortlessly blends elegance with indulgence.

Cakenhagen offers a truly refined dessert experience in the heart of Tivoli. The tea is nice and they have beautifully crafted pastries that are as delicious as they are artistic. The service is good, with staff who are attentive and passionate about what they do. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place to indulge and unwind. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine desserts and Danish hospitality at its best.

Packhouse in Copenhagen offers an exceptional experience. Their cortados are the best—bold, flavorful, and expertly crafted. The lemonades are delicious, and the avocado and hummus sandwiches are a treat. Don’t miss out on their scrumptious cardamom buns! What a wonderful little place! On the water of one of the canals,it offers a great variety of breakfast options. We took the yogurt and granola which was very delicate and the salmon on bread which was great. The coffee was good and so was the beetroot juice. We sat outside on a beautiful day, magical!

One of the nicest breakfasts we tried in Copenhagen. Large amounts of food. Fresh raw materials. Very tasty. And very nice coffee!! 👌🏻The place is very cozy with nice wooden tables and special paintings around the walls where you sit and want to stare at them. The service is somehow self service. You order and pay at the counter, but there is the possibility that the waitress will bring it to the table where you are sitting. It is possible to reserve a table before arrival if you wish. Also, on the outside side of the store, there is the possibility to park your vehicle, if it is a bicycle, in the closed space available. The staff is very smiling and helpful in all our questions. Bitten prices for Greece, we paid for a rich breakfast and a coffee about 25-30€/person. However, I recommend it, it's worth trying!

Cakery Copenhagen is a delightful place known for its amazing eclairs. Customers have praised the helpful and kind staff who went out of their way to ensure timely delivery and added a personal touch with a requested card. The mini-eclair boxes are perfect for those who want to sample various flavors, with highlights including the Dark Forest and salted caramel options. While some find the prices on the higher side, others appreciate the fresh and delicious eclairs despite cost concerns.
Amazing eclairs. Definitely go and try one. It’s good because they have smaller version so you could get different kinds of deserts. I strongly recommend getting the vanilla eclair.

I’ve known this place for over 5 years, back when it was called Queen’s Delight and operated in a smaller space. The quality remains exceptional, and the new location adds a cozy seating area by the windows. It’s very popular with families and is notably kid-friendly. Delicious and varied eclairs in a pleasant setting—highly recommended!
Johan G — Google review
Very tasty cakes and amazing-looking place. You can choose from larger or smaller portions of cakes, which is good as you can taste more. Coffee is good. The only problem is that it's a small space, and outside there are only 2 tables. Be careful when sitting outside as somebody is dropping cigarettes from above.
Fotke T — Google review
Finally got to taste their eclairs and I was not disappointed. I got the pistaccio (my favourite), chocolate and hazelnut, and tiramisu. A lot of texture and flavour. A nice option for a different kind of pastry in Copenhagen. I can definitely recommend and will be going back soon to try the other flavours. The cafe itself looks very nice and cozy, the person working there was also very kind.
Andrea V — Google review
I loved the idea of offering mini éclairs—it was such a great way to enjoy a variety of flavors even when dining alone. Each éclair wasn’t overly sweet, and I could really taste the distinct flavors, which made me so happy. The server also did a wonderful job explaining each one. The coffee “flat white” quality wasn’t perfect with the éclairs that day, but I imagine it might have just been a one-time thing. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Vedels konditori is a cozy café with a homely atmosphere, located conveniently next to Nyhavn. The owner personally serves customers and recommends trying their Danish pastries, which are delicious but slightly on the sweet side. The croissant was average but could have been improved if warmed up. They also offer hot cocoa and lattes at perfect temperatures and sweetness levels.
Very nice little coffee place with amazing Danish pastries. Friendly service and not too many tourists. Highly recommend ! :)

This is one cafe that has a very homey feel. We were served by the owner herself. Since it was our first time, she recommended we try the Danish pastry and we also got a croissant. The croissant was average and probably would have tasted better if it had been warmed up. The pastry was very good, although a bit too sweet for my taste. We also got hot cocoa and a latte that were just the perfect temperature and sweetness. The location is right next to Nyhavn, so it's a perfect place to stop at when sightseeing. This was also one of the few places that was open early in the morning. Many of the other breakfast places didn't open until 10 or 11am, at least during the winter.

The bakery also caters to students with a 15% discount when showing their student card.
Probably one of my favourite bakeries in Copenhagen, yet lesser known and much cheaper than social-hyped bakeries. A really good array of both traditional and typical pastries and baked goods. Less-fuss presentation-wise, but incredibly generous with the fillings giving the pasty some serious melt-in-your-mouth flavour. Pictured are the Wienerkrans and Frøsnapper

Det Rene Brød is a popular Danish bakery with two locations in Copenhagen, known for its extensive selection of house-made bread and pastries. Despite its initial non-vegan appearance, the bakery offers a variety of vegan options such as cinnamon snails, raisin tea buns, and tebirkes. The bakery is famous for its fabulous sourdough bread and also offers buttery croissants, crumbles, and cakes that are a true feast for the senses.
Det Rene Brød is one of my favorite spots in the city! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a clean, bright, and modern space that feels incredibly airy and inviting. The open kitchen concept is a lovely touch—you can actually see the fresh bread and pastries being made, which adds a real sense of quality and transparency. The service is always warm and attentive. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome whether you're grabbing something to go or staying for a coffee and a bite. There’s plenty of seating and the spacious layout makes it a great place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. They offer a wide variety of baked goods, from delicious sourdoughs to sweet pastries, and plenty of choices for breakfast or lunch. Everything I've tried has been fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that balances great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service!

Huge choice of vegan options is great. I ordered a slice of banana bread, it was extremely good & a generous portion. They charge extra for oat milk in my coffee & it tasted over heated (aka not good). Lots of space & seating. The labelling of ingredients is helpful (vegan & milk intolerant) & my friend was avoiding gluten. They even had vegan fastelavn bolle.

We had a wonderful birthday gathering at this backery. They make their own bread daily and tastes 🤩!! Staffs are friendly, the backery is spacious and cozy for friends gather together especially on a sunny day with big windows opening by the sidewalk!

Very rude staff. I have an allergy and the staff did not want to listen to me or tell me what was in the food even after I told them. Maybe it’s due to the fact that I am foreigner. The pastry is stale and the cappuccino subpar. The staff is also not cleaning the tables, half the tables had used plates on top and it was difficult to find a spot. Also extra charge for non dairy milk cappuccino is really like greedy to another level, for example at Meyers bageri (with or without dairy option) it’s the same price and it’s much better.
Enrico C — Google review
Lovely service and yummy pastries! Sadly they didn't have anymore kanelsnegl that I've been craving for (it was Sunday afternoon) but the wienerbrod and mandlerkage definitely made our evening cosy too 😊👍
Jing Y — Google review
FYI - the location changed in the spring of 2018 to a much larger shop just around the corner with loads of seating and direct sunlight. The bread and pastries are excellent, and so are the sandwiches, pizzas and drinks. Good simple options for brunch and lunch. It's hands down the best weekend breakfast option in the neighborhood - little wait and good seating. Compare that to hip Mad & Kaffe a block away where you wait for an hour in between two cars to sit in the shade with a blanket in the middle of summer. That's where Det Rene Brod used to be and they made a smart move. Two small points to work on: understaffed on weekend mornings (tables not cleared, missing dishes) and they run out of rundstykke med birkes by 10:00. I don't care much but it drives my Danish girlfriend crazy. 🤷‍♂️ Edit: came back two weeks later to a fully stocked rundstykke basket and staff on hand clearing tables. 👍👍

Fantastic little bakery in Copenhagen! We tried the cheese & butter sandwich, salami sandwich, and three different croissants — each one was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. When you go to Copenhagen this place is a MUST and not only for breakfast. Their sandwiches are fantastic, too. We loved their cappuccino and Corrado cafè. The staff was very nice and pretty fast to take the orders and serve. The atmosphere in Buka Bakery is very cozy and comfortable . One of the best experiences.
Angela B — Google review
So tasty Danish pastries and buns, especially in the morning. You can find sour and sweet pastries, everything is fresh. Coffee is also good there. They have good terrace outside, which is less crowded than in other locations of Buka.
Alesia G — Google review
It's definitely 5 star baked goods, absolutely fantastic. The coffee as well was delicious, not necessarily exceptional, but a delight accompanied with a pastry. However, the bakery itself did have some problems, one was that it had a big queue, which to be fair isn't really their fault, as they are somewhat hyped, and rightly so. The reason for the dropped star is that they don't show the prices for the baked goods, they just absolutely should, they're not even necessarily outrageously priced, given the quality and size.
Christopher H — Google review
Great coffee and tebirkes bun. My friends also liked their matcha and lemon bun. The concept of ordering the food is fast and there is enough seating. The filled croissant also looked good, but we haven’t tried them.
K — Google review
5 stars for this bakery in the heart of Copenhagen, a short walk away from Copenhagen City Hall! 🥐 We happened to walk by and saw the queue for afternoon tea and something told us we should try, and I am so glad my wife and I did! The pistachio croissant was so unique and tasty! 😋 Our other savoury bread was delicious too. The coffee was great. Staff were all friendly, patient, and helpful although it was busy. Love that we can do cashless payments here. There are seats indoor and outdoor, it is busy but thankfully turnover is high too. Huge plus there’s a toilet here too. Thank you! 🙏🏻
Ashley L — Google review
Nice bakery with good coffee in the center. Great croissant with pistachio cream or croissant pastry with cream and raspberries and other goodies. Service is fast and there is plenty of space. It's a great place to cool down on hot days.

Moo Moo Isbar Nordhavn is a charming spot located in the Orestad neighborhood, offering both indoor and outdoor seating by the canal. Adjacent to the recreational area Byparken, it's perfect for families with kids who can enjoy the playgrounds while adults relax. The friendly staff provides generous taste tests of their vegan ice cream, which comes in a variety of flavors including peanut butter, mango, and blood orange.
The best vegan ice cream we’ve ever had. 3 days in Copenhagen, and we visited three times. If your girlfriend is vegan, bring her here. Even if she isn’t, bring her here. I’ve never seen someone smile so much and enjoy ice cream with glee. Such nice service as well. We had over a dozen flavours and they were all excellent

This was a wonderful experience right from entering the door. I was met with a very friendly worker who was so accommodating. He offered taste tests from the get go and was very generous with them. It was so hard to choose a flavour to buy!! So I went with 3. Peanut butter. Oh so creamy and yum. Mango. Delightful and fresh Blood Orange. Fresh and great colour! So cool that there are sugar free options too. Love that! Plant based icrecream that tastes amazing!! All gluten free too! They even have a loyalty card! You have won me over. ❤️
Emily K — Google review
Great place! They have a good variety of different vegan ice creams - everything is vegan! The taste is wonderful.
Andreas E — Google review
The ice cream was very good! The worker was very kind as well even considering they were about to close he still have good service! Very happy with my experience!
Melissa A — Google review
Amazing ice cream! The flavours are nicely potent and it’s not too sweet. The texture is great and especially their pistachio and dark chocolate are worth a visit ☺️ 100% recommend.
Helene A — Google review
Wow! You might not want regular ice cream after you try this vegan kind. It is yummmmmmm! And some really unusual new flavours to treat your tastebuds. Made with coconut milk, which gives a smooth silky texture. Divine! (We’re returning tomorrow for more.) ;-)
Me L — Google review
Excellent plant based vegan ice cream (and gluten free cones)!! Doesn’t melt that quickly. 100% would recommend. Views on the water. Friendly staff.
Victor D — Google review
Can't believe this ice cream is vegan. Tastes like the real deal. It was creamy and flavourful. We got two scoop cones and all flavors were delicious, as was the waffle cone. They were a decent size, 49dkk each. A short cue but the staff were friendly and efficient. I've just seen other reviews mentioned a loyalty card, only feedback would that this should be mentioned when paying. I would have got one for sure!

Espresso House is a Danish coffee chain with numerous locations in Copenhagen. Each spot offers a delightful variety of treats, from giant double chocolate cookies to sweet caramel buns. The city center gem provides a cozy atmosphere and an array of vegan options like blueberry pie and plant-based hot chocolate. With generous portions, delicious cinnamon rolls, and expertly brewed coffee, it's perfect for casual conversations or leisurely meals. The Christmas latte with cinnamon and cardamom is a must-try.
Espresso House quickly became one of my favorite spots during my trip. I ended up going there for both breakfast and sometimes even dinner—that’s how much I enjoyed it! The food and drinks were consistently good, the service was fast, and the staff were really friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s a cozy place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a quality meal or coffee.
A.N — Google review
It’s a great coffee shop! Purchasing the coffee bean from certified farmers directly. Farmers get fair and sustainable market price and the consumers have the most high quality coffee in the cup! It’s the best way to support smaller farmers and satisfy the massive customers! This store installs clean toilets for the guests which is utmost appreciated.
WenHua C — Google review
Nice place, good atmosphere, the pastries are ok and staff is friendly. The only downside is the quality of the coffee but I suppose that’s a franchise issue and they can’t do much about it. Opening hours are very much catered to tourists.
Balazs K — Google review
Beautiful place in the center with self service. Good coffee, nice and tasty sweets and cookies, modern cozy design with variation of sitting zones, big windows with view to the nice square.

Hahnemanns Køkken is a charming and beautifully decorated place that exudes a sense of calm and hygge, offering an array of delectable treats. While some have noted a slight issue with speed in service, the establishment continues to impress with its excellent food and innovative offerings. The bakery is particularly praised for its amazing bread and pastry, although there have been some recent changes in their selling practices.
Stopped by for breakfast, both the coffee and pastries were nice! Almost everyone speaks great English in Copenhagen. The girl was very friendly to explain things to us. We sat at the table facing the windows, people outside biking over were often smiling to us, great atmosphere!

I went here to buy fastelavnsboller, to take home, on a saturdaymorning. Cozy place, many people were having breakfast and it felt very relaxed. The fastelavnsbolle looked so cute! It is called the cat in the barrel (fastelavnstonne)

We managed to visit this lovely cafe twice in our holiday trip to Copenhagen, both times we chose coffee and a delicious pastry. The cafe is situated on a roundabout but is separated from it by a small coppice wooded area. The patio sits within this glade and the dappled sunlight shines through making a delightful setting. There is also a sunny patio and a large seating area inside. The serving counter is well organised and the staff are all friendly and cheerful and fully bilingual in Danish and English. The food selection is great and the strawberry pastry on our second visit was fantastic. We visited quite a few cafes in the city during our stay but this was my favourite. There was something about how the leafy glade atmosphere that was able to make this hidden gem the number one choice for us. Highly recommended.

Great place. Good coffee and food. Inside is a nice store to get various goodies like licorice as well as coffees, chips, salts, recycled materials and more. Worth a visit. They have great selection of breads and pastries 🥮

Wanted to come here every since getting one of the baking books and we weren't let down. The smorrebrod were fabulous. Well crafted toppings with careful and considered flavours. The rhubarb bun was lovely, sweet, tart and soft. Definitely recommend a visit

70 kr = Croissant is to the dry side and the pot coffee is ok. Nothing is really wrong I just expected a bit more for that price.. The waiters seem tired.. otherwise a beautiful shop, and the sitting area outside is wonderful in the summer.

I first posted my review two years ago: ‘We are regulars of hahnemanns. Amazing bread and pastry.’ I continue to be a regular at Hahnemans, and while they still impress with excellent food and innovative offers, I've noticed a lingering issue with speed. Unfortunately, the service lacks the efficiency one would expect, and things take longer than desired. Given the premium prices, an improvement in managing demand is essential for them to deliver the top-notch service that matches their reputation.
Amanda P — Google review
Friendly staff, excellent quality of food and beverages and very hyggeligt terrasse 👌 Prices may be perceived as too high, but 90-100% organic products requires lots of time and labor costs these days. Overall, it’s worth the visit 🙌

Born and raised in the heart of Copenhagen, Sweet Valentine is a patisserie known for its exquisite cream cakes, mousse dreams, cupcakes, petit fours and chocolate. The shop is staffed by friendly professionals who are skilled at delivering Esrum delicacies that can be enjoyed both on site and ordered for special occasions. From beverages to sweet treats, this patisserie has something for everyone.
I got to know this place because of their collaboration with a famous Matcha shop. We were delighted with the beautiful treats. The blueberry tart was divine!!! Also the Danish pastry which I can’t recall the name was so flavorful. The cheesecake was yummy, but not the highlight. (But it has a PERFECT texture, which I highly appreciate). Not too sweet. Thank you for your kind service, even tho the place is quite crowded.

The brownie looked good but was dry and not really that tasty. It certainly wasn't as dense and chocolatey as it looked. Presentation was nice, as was the girl serving us, but I wouldn't rush to return for the taste of the things they sell even though they look nice.

Very happy with the cake I bought from here. I bought this as my little elopement wedding cake and it did not disappoint! I loved it so thank you! I would love to know what the name of this cake is, if you don’t mind replying to this review. Thanks again 😀
Fiona H — Google review
The macarons were a disappointment. I tried one of every flavor, should have looked more closely before purchasing, and they are not cheap. There were no “feet” on the macarons, thus they were over whipped and over baked, hard, uneven, flavorless, besides the mint chocolate flavor which tasted like strong toothpaste, it was jarring. I Had to try each of them before making the review to make sure I wasn’t biased on just one of the flavors, but no, each and everyone of them were made bad my. I couldn’t even finish a single one.

We order a red velvet cake for 12-15 people for our brunch. Great service and everything went well, except…the quality of the cake itself. It was dry, overbaked and definitely has been made for a few days. There were some crack on the icing - i am no baker expert so I don’t know why, but the cake looked (and tasted) sad and old. We are not commenting on the taste, as it can be subjective, but we expect a moist, (relatively) newly baked cake, but they didnt deliver. We should have sticked to our normal bakery (have been wanting to try Sweet Valentine for a while based on a friend’s recommendation but this is just not up to any average bakery standards)

Nestled in the heart of Copenhagen, Tir Bakery is a delightful new addition to the city's vibrant food scene. Founded by Louise Bannon, who honed her skills at the renowned Noma, this charming bakery specializes in slow-fermented sourdough made from heirloom grains cultivated through biodynamic practices.
Newly-opened Tír Bakery brings to Copenhagen bread and pastries made with freshly-milled Danish biodynamic flour. Wonderful to see their flour milling machine as you step right in, and have a selection of breads and pastries to try. Very calm, airy bakery with a hygge atmosphere which highlights and supports the importance of biodynamic grains.

Lagkagehuset is a bakery with a great variety of sandwiches, pastries, and hot drinks. The location is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer a range of buns, cakes, and sandwiches including options like Pizza bianca and Danish cinnamon swirl. Customers have praised the quality of their products such as the crispy bread on the sandwich and delicious cakes.
Nice place to eat Danish specialties and fine pastries. I liked what I had, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The tables a little dirty, the prices reasonable. It's worth the detour.

Tried the Pizza bianca. Super nice sandwich with cheese, ham and a bit og Dijons mustard. The bread on the sandwich was nice and crispy, they also toast it for you. The cheese and ham was not just the cheapest produkts. Great taste the mustard did wonders(needed a bit more). But it was expensive 69kr for a ham and cheese sandwich, should have been max 50kr. Also tried the chocolate bun. Tasted nice brioche bun. Great location and super nice staff. The place inside is clean and looks greay

I ordered this bakery from Too Good To Go (a food sharing app to prevent leftovers and waste). You’ll get a surprise magic bag and this bakery was the most generous restaurant ever. I paid 6 euros and got 1 big pie cake, 2 croissants, 1 pizza, and 1 proper well-made sandwhich.
Yulia R — Google review
It's a real challenge to resist the sweet or savory treats displayed at the entrance.
Konstantinos K — Google review
Lagkagehuset is a Danish pastry chain that pretends and positions itself in the lower premium segment. While, the founders Ole and Steen ment well, over the years they have created an operational nightmare and a negative reputation for themselves. Their venues are mediocre, rarely clean - especially the toilets. Portfolio is decent, service is poor. The owners acquired numerous competitors on very unfair terms and hence we would not recommend supporting this rather heartless chain.
Daniel P — Google review
Finally had my first obligatory danish cinnamon swirl - onsdagsnegl. Good place for breakfast with a big variety of sandwiches, also whole wheat and also a good variety of hot drinks, juices and pastry. There is no toilet in this place and only a few spots to sit at high tables. It irritated me a little that you need to draw a number before you can order.
Denise R — Google review
Lovely place, easy to reach with baby stroley (no steps). Coffee ok, but the staff is really friendly, and also I was offered a free bun for my kid. Simple but nice. A great variety of buns, cakes and sandwiches, I have tried a bun with carrots and sunflower seeds- really good.
