I love the whole concept behind the Gas Station burger joint — a stylish nod to North American burger culture — and they definitely nail the vibe. As a North American myself, surrounded by some of the best burgers in the world back home, it’s always a fun experience to try the European take on a “classic” burger. But I’ll be honest: most of the time, it ends up feeling like a much more expensive version of a budget comfort food I already have access to regularly. That said — this one was a standout. If you’ve never had a proper North American–style burger and you’re in Copenhagen, this is a fantastic place to start. I had a soft, fresh buttered brioche bun, sharp orange cheddar, a classic burger sauce (think Big Mac style), sweet pickles, and a perfectly grilled, pink, juicy patty. Super well-balanced and satisfying. Final thoughts: Is it a revelation for someone from the U.S. or Canada? Probably not. But it’s a damn good version of a familiar classic, done with care and quality ingredients. If you’re craving a legit burger in Copenhagen, this place will definitely hit the spot.

Great burger! Fresh ingredients. I asked for a burger with lettuce only for my young boy. They messed it up by putting all ingredients and giving us extra lettuce on the side. My son still ate it! Told me it was delicious!

Their hamburgers are very delicious,made with high-quality meat. The fries are also very tasty, and the drinks are good too. It's no surprise it sells so well. In the evenings, there's a very long line of people, and you have to wait for an hour, but it's delicious and worth the wait. The restaurant only has one or two tables for dining in.

We visited Reffen after having lunch at Øens Have and it ended up being such a fun afternoon. Reffen is set right on the waterfront in Refshaleøen and has such a great energy; live music playing, food stalls everywhere and people sitting in deck chairs facing the sun with a wine or beer in hand. The whole place has that relaxed Copenhagen vibe where people just enjoy the moment and take their time. Getting there was easy and part of the experience; we took the ferry to Refshaleøen and from the second we stepped off the boat you could hear music and see the colourful food containers ahead of us. It almost feels like a little creative village made of repurposed shipping containers, art and food. Reffen is open seasonally, mainly from spring to autumn; during summer it opens around late morning and stays open into the evening which is perfect because the atmosphere really comes alive when the sun is out. In the cooler months the hours are limited or closed altogether, so it’s definitely more of a warm-weather experience. There are so many food vendors to choose from and the variety is huge; everything from dumplings, burgers and Mexican food to smoked fish, noodles, desserts and plant-based options. It’s the kind of place where you just wander around, see what catches your eye and go with whatever smells amazing. We loved grabbing something small from one stall, then something else from another and sharing everything. It’s also such a beautiful place to sit by the water and just take it all in. Watching locals and tourists relaxing together with music playing and the harbour right in front of you makes it feel extra special. If you love street food, a fun atmosphere and places that feel a bit more local and laid back, I highly recommend visiting Reffen. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Copenhagen.

A place with a very positive vibe. Many street food stands from all over the world, plus drinks, teas, coffees, sweets etc. Freshly made food upon order requires a few minutes to wait for, in most popular places. Many places to sit so although it was Saturday we found a table (beer garden) without any trouble. All set in post industrial zone.

Great variety and cozy outdoor vibes – just wish for more fire pits! Reffen is a great spot if you're looking to try different cuisines in one place – there's a huge variety of food from all over the world. The outdoor area has a really nice atmosphere, especially with the wood fire pits that keep you warm on colder days. We really liked that touch – it made the place feel super cozy. The only downside was that it was quite busy, and all the seats near the fire were taken, so we couldn’t find a warm spot to sit. I wish there were more fire pits or heated areas, especially during peak times. Otherwise, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back!

Got lucky with the weather and enjoyed a great day at Reffen sinking a few beers and eating some good food by the firepits. There's plenty of options for food and if the weather isn't playing ball there's a massive indoor area too. The staff are constantly buzzing around topping up the wood in the firepits and there's loads of comfy chairs dotted around. It's a cool place

Such a unique experience with such a variety of foods and experiences, it's somewhere you can go with friends for food and drinks or a family trip with the kids! Would recommend making the journey over here. (The journey does take a short while from the centre of Copenhagen but certainly worth it!)

Always tried something different. This time I tried the baos, they were really good. The Argentinian places are my to go. The view is breathtaking specially during the sunset. A special vibe and a nice plan during the weekdays or weekends.

Reffen Street food is a good walking from Copenhagen but it was definitely worth it! Most people probably go by bike but the walk wasn't that bad. The place is along the waterfront and feel like a little colorful town of street frood! It's probably very nice as well in the evening with all the lights.

Cute little find in the meat packing district! We had the veggie tacos and the pork Gringa.. We would have liked more variety in the veggie tacos as it was the same filling across all Tacos in the plate.. The pork flavour was good but it was a little dry.. Overall it was a nice place for a quick bite and the Mexican food did hit the spot!

I had high expectations and I'm happy I did try this place before leaving Copenhagen, but I would rate it as nice, very good, but not excellent. Flavours are there but I must admit I expected a bit of more juiciness, despite everything is prepared and combined in front of you. Service is good, people working there are smiling and quick, the drinks are nice. The atmosphere is pleasant, I like the meatpacking district as you see a lot going on, but when you are at your table you don't feel the crowd.

We had a delicious dinner here a few nights ago. As a Californian I’m picky and have high standards for Mexican food and this was delicious. I had a veggie, beef and el pastor taco platter and they were all good but the el pastor is the best. The margarita was fresh and chips, guacamole and salsa were well seasoned. The churro was fresh and the ambience was very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!

AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Copenhagen was something I really wasn't expecting. This place is sensational and in such a nice area! Visit on a beautiful day so you can sit outside to enjoy your food or get it to go as space is pretty limited. Not a strike against them, by any means, though, as it's still well worth the trip!

Ordered the combo with three tacos together with some nachos. Good value, big flavours. Best tacos I've eaten in any restaurant. Worth noting is that there are very few seats, so it can be expected to eat standing up.

Plentiful market with a variety of different fresh foods and eats all in one area. It is very close to the Nørreport Station, making it really accessible and convenient. There are juice shops, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and much more. You can come here for local shopping or to eat some really good food. This place has really good ice cream and juice as well! Highly recommend visiting.

Here you can find things you wouldn't find elsewhere... not necessarily local, but impressive nonetheless. You can buy them or enjoy them on the spot, just like in a French market hall. But it comes at a price.

It’s a very stylish market with a wide selection of high-quality ingredients from various countries — from cheeses and olive oils to fresh seafood, beef, chicken, kitchenware, canned fish, baking tools, and fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also plenty of ready-to-eat options, including Spanish, Italian, and Danish dishes.

As a tourist from Ukraine, of course, it was a bit expensive for me. But if you compare in general with the prices in Copenhagen, then +- normal prices. The dish was very tasty, the place is spacious, there were few people in the morning in autumn. Only my plate was cracked, but maybe it all goes into the atmosphere of the place, I don't know🤪

Had breakfast here after being recommended by several people. I have to say they were not wrong. I had the porridge 1, and it was one of the best I ever had. Fresh toppings, right temperature and texture. The bowl may look small, but remember that it is porridge, that will fill you up. The hot chocolate was alright, nothing special but not bad either. The staff was very nice, and the place was very cozy. The price is not too bad for Copenhagen, I recommend it if you are looking for a more budget friendly breakfast in the city.

Lovely place for breakfast with excellent coffee and the best porridge I've had outside of home. It really is that good! I had the porridge 1 with apple, roasted almond and caramel sauce, delicious. My husband had the all in, an impressive amount of toppings although some of the flavors like peanut butter were a bit overwhelming. Prices are on par with any other breakfast in Copenhagen. If you love porridge, don't miss this place!

I have heard a lot about this place, every person I talk to seem to love Grød. So I had high expectations when I finally came here, I was not disappointed. Super cozy décor. Staff was friendly and fast. The food was great, also the lemonade and matcha drink was really nice. Loved it, now I will join my friends in singing its praises.

It was a short queue to pay and the waiting time for the chicken sandwich was not too bad considering it was lunch hour. We got our sandwich and took it into the car as there was no where to sit and eat it outside the cafe. The chicken was crispy and I enjoyed the little spice powder that envelopes it. I could do with a dash of salt after the chicken was fried to boost the flavour a bit more. Overall, worth the hype.

The chicken was impressively crunchy! I’m not sure how they managed it, but the crisp coating with the juicy meat underneath was incredible. The seasoning was spot-on, and the creamy mayo with the pickles brought everything together perfectly. There was a short wait, and no real seating area aside from a small spot that fits about 2–3 people, but it was still absolutely worth it.

Had to get the fried chicken sandwich from the Bear TV show. We ordered, waited about 15 minutes for the to-go bag, and then traveled about 30 minutes before eating it. The chicken was still crunchy. I don't know how, but it was so crisp with the juicy chicken hidden behind the layers of flavor. The spice was perfect, the creamy mayo and the pickles rounded it out well. It was perfect.

Yeah, this chicken sandwich is 100% worth the hype. I waited for about 25 minutes total in the line and for my food but it was completely worth it. The chicken is perfectly crispy and spicy and fresh. Would recommend getting a sport cola to go with it!

Expect a long line (even in the rain) because of its internet fame. Once you order the food, it comes quickly but they are making everything fresh. There’s no place to sit so this is a good meal to bring somewhere else. The fries order is big enough to share between two people. There is a combo (sandwich, fries, dip) but if you do the math you aren’t saving money. As a vegetarian, I was happy to have the fried tofu sandwich. However, I have a low tolerance for spiciness and the batter is heavily seasoned. If you like a spicy fried chicken sandwich, you should definitely come to Poulette. But this is not for those sensitive to spice.

What an amazing experience! Its communal dining so you get to meet people. Everyone is generally very friendly. The food was also really tasty. We had bbq chicken with salsa and roast root vegetables. The “cold bowl” desert (a type of buttermilk) was also nice. It’s often a full house so make sure to reserve in advance.

Apart from the beauty to be together, the beautiful plates, decorations, large magnificent church windows… Best bread I ever had (and I am french !!). People are really nice, the events all day are amazing (even some free after diner). 9€ / 65 dkk to eat 3 different plates as someone that loves tasting everything was a big surprise! Such a great place. An old church converted to a community style kitchen with great food and lots of events. You eat at long community tables and it just felt right. The food is very tasty and very affordable (we paid 60 kr for the lunch). People of all ages come here, but at lunch there were loads of small kids, so probably would recommend trying to work from here. Everyone were so friendly. Will definitely be back here.

The food is served family style, we were the last of 6 to get the food plates and the 4 before us took most of the salad and salmon. We're not big eaters so we didn't mind, but others sure would have minded. I cannot eat gluten, they provided me with a small gf roll. There was salmon, salad, mashed potatoes, cooked cabbage, and a desert I couldn't eat, gluten full.

This is just a classic Copenhagen institution. They do everything with care and love and have such a variety of fun things to do, I have been here painting, ceramics, bingo, food and it is always well worth my time and money. Love this place.

Decent food, well plated. Would have been a higher score had it not been for the relatively slow service. The staff is cordial but... It was very difficult to get their attention. Took 15 minutes plus to get seated, another 15 to order and another 15 to get the bill. The meat was seasoned nicely but lukewarm to room temperature when served. Probably adding one more staff would improve the experience.

This wasn’t just great – it was unbelievably great. The food was beyond any praise, a true explosion of flavors, like a taste orgasm. The service? Not just service, but the gods of hospitality themselves. They didn’t just serve us dinner, they created an experience. Our evening turned into a 2.5-hour gastronomic journey, and every moment of it was pure joy. I left not only full, but feeling absolutely wonderful.

We had the tasting along with their signature dish. Every dish did not fail to meet expectations and tasted just as good as they looked. The service was also nice with very experienced and deeply knowledgeable servers. However, the atmosphere wasn't great. It's the usual Copenhagen *hygge* where everything is dimly lit. The acoustics also not good as there much echo and noise.

Lovely restaurant - I had big hopes for it, and it's safe to say that the standards were met. However, there was a room for a little wow factor. The bread was not amazaing and the lamb tartar was a little too weird. The rabbit ravioli was off the charts, very nice pasta and the goat cheese cake was a lot fun. Paired the ravioli with a glass of Cab Franc, by Christian Tschida from Austria. Italian red with desert was decent. Very very good, get the rabbit ravioli!

The caviar butter pasta is absolutely MUST TRY. Many dishes were delicious, however dessert was disappointing and expected more from cocktails. However, the place indeed worth a visit as food is delicious and staff was so warm and nice! It was quite loud, however the place turned out to be big so a lot of seating. Bread with butter was amazing too, loved spices there!

Perfect wine bar experience in Copenhagen! Great vibes, food and staff. I ordered the focaccia, octopus, spaghetti and pear dessert. The orange wine was the best I’ve had anywhere. Juliana, Yasmina and Patricia were super fun and amazing. This is definitely the wine bar to do in Copenhagen.

This restaurant was an amaizing value for money. The food is delicious. You have a lot ºs different hummus, all really good. The falafel is delicious. The salad buffet has a lot of options. The only less is the fat in some dishes like lasagna and mousaka, but all taste very good. The service is friendly and the price ok for Copenhagen.

I had lunch at Riz Raz today and absolutely loved it! The vegetarian buffet was wonderful — full of flavour, colour and variety. There was an amazing selection of dishes, from delicious pastas and perfectly seasoned vegetables to heavenly falafel. Everything tasted fresh and full of life. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Ibrahim, who was incredibly kind and professional. His friendly attitude and warm smile truly made the experience even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful — cozy, elegant, and welcoming. It has such a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you walk in. I found the vegetarian/vegan buffet very nice. Lots of options to choose from, most of them vegan! I really liked their falafels and hummus. Also enjoyed their kale salad, lettuce salad with chickpeas and roasted potatoes. All in all, it’s very nice if you enjoy both warm and cold dishes. The lunch buffet costs 145kr, I also ordered a glass of water which brought the total to 160kr, which I think I quite budget friendly

Best Mediterranean experience in Copenhagen. Highly recommend. They offer buffet and meat or chicken or fish. We tried the tenderloin it was so tasty. We will definitely come again.

The food is fresh and delicious, many options to choose from the Mediterranean buffet. You can refill the plate as many times you dare, and the waiters make sure to continuously bring food. Thus, we had to pay extra for the tap water, while the toilets could be cleaner (there is one single soup bottle moved around 4 sinks, and people use toilet paper to dry their hands). We haven't interacted much with the waiters, everything was self-service, the dirty plates were not discharged and we waited 10 mins to pay.

We were really excited to try this place. The tables were on a nice location and the person behind the counter was very polite. We ordered a slice of Surf n Turf and a Hot honey. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the Hot Honey. It was a bit too sweet than I expected and the cheese has a peculiar taste that I did not enjoy personally. This might be my personal preference however. The surf n turf was good.

The best slices in town... Hard to choose which one to get so we went pepperoni with hot honey, nbluja, and straight cheese. So good!

Wauw - simply greatest pizza slices, great service and great atmosphere!!!!

The pizza is amazing. Cooked brilliant, tastes amazing and nice crunch to it. If I was to make one remark is that I would personally need two slices. I then starts adding up to a decent costing meal.

4 stars for the wine, well curated, interesting and okay priced. 2 for the food, expensive and utterly forgettable. 95 kr for a “khachapuri” made from puff pastry and so small it fits in the palm of a hand is too much even for Copenhagen. The cheese “board” comes at the exorbitant price of 125 kr and features two cheeses in tiny quantities, and knäckebröd that disintegrates as soon as it is picked up. Service was really good, but definitely recommend to concentrate on the wine.

Den Vandrette feels like a hidden gem. You can tell that the team really cares about what they do — from the fresh ingredients to the thoughtful details on each plate. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit.

What a true gem!!! A total must if you like relaxed vibes, amazing wine and super delish small plates Addi and Michal make this place the coolest with their really cool and laid back energy! The wine list is full of bangers (they have it all, succulent Loire stuff, wilder Georgian bangers, fun Spanish...) And the food... ideally you go very hungry and just order the whole menu twice... that’s what we did :0

Great small and intimate wine bar. Unique experience of being taken back to their cellar to choose your bottle of wine. Food was also fantastic.

Had heard a lot about this place. Four of us meandered from our hotel towards this restaurant. Seating was only outside- late evening- just perfect. This place mainly has tapas style food. We ordered the cheese platter and the scallops. For the wines, I was expecting more of a choice but eventually the lack of choice was more than made up by the quality. There were 2 red wines and we had both. The one I had- a Loire valley red - mind blowing. The other one was great too. Our elder daughter had an unfiltered white wine from Portugal - she loved it. All in all a very good evening.

Fantastic wines (also check out Rosforth & Rosforth) and great shareable food with very high quality but easy to approach. Reserve a table, otherwise you probably don’t fit in..

While we waited for our dinner reservation at nearby Barr, my friend and I stopped into Den Vandrette Vinbar, just off the main strip where Nyhavn is located. Stepping down a few stairs into a basement space, the entire place is cozy. Greeted by friendly staff, we were seated at a long community table and served still water right away. Asking the server for recommendations, we both landed on a natural white wine for 90 krone a piece. We also ordered the khachapuri, a Georgian cheese bread dish. It came out warm and the cheese oozed out as we cut into it. Den Vandrette was the perfect snack place before dinner. With the staff being so friendly, it was a warm experience.

Very much not impressed. Sadly, this was one of the worst pizzas we ate in years. From a first order of three, two were almost completely burned on the bottom. What we got then was a super soggy pizza that also tasted very bland. Live music was super nice but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for the food.

I recently visited Mother in Kødbyen, and overall, it was an excellent experience. At 160 DKK per pizza, you expect not only good food but also good service – and unfortunately, the service was disappointing from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited an unnecessarily long time before getting a table. Once seated, no waiter came over to take our order until we actively flagged someone down. When we finally did get service, the waiter seemed neither particularly friendly nor interested, which set a rather unwelcoming tone. The pizzas were undeniably good – fresh, flavorful, and with a nice charred crust – but the lack of attentiveness and warmth from the staff made it hard to truly enjoy the visit. Sadly, even with great pizza, it wasn’t the kind of dining experience I’d look forward to repeating.

We shared a margarita pizza and a bruschetta. Both of them were super tasty, fresh and made with quality ingredients. However the star of the show was the nutella calzone. This was amazing and totally worth the sugar coma. They should however step up on their cleaning game, since the condition of the toilets was unacceptable.

Amazing food! Like many of the other reviews mentioned, the service was completely terrible. Items ordered and never received. Would have definitely ordered another beer had the server ever checked in. Could not flag down for the check so eventually had to pay at door. Not being a picky American, I was with a Dane who said even for Copenhagen, the service was terrible.

Food was great as usual.. Atmosphere would have scored higher if the waitress wasn’t such a Debbie downer ruining the experience with her bad attitude. Honestly one of the worst service experiences in Copenhagen. Unfortunately we didn’t get her name because I think it would be valuable to the owner to know who in their company is ruining the experience for the guests.

I lived in Texas for 3 years, and my wife grew up there. This met our expectation of a Danish take on “authentic” Texas barbecue. All to say, it’s very poorly executed. The closest items to authenticity were the brisket tenderness and the side sauces. The brisket was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The pulled pork was so dry it might as well have been chicken. The sausage did not seem home made. It was missing the snap, and texture of a true Texas barbecue sausage. The sides were even worse. The mac and cheese can be described as macaroni soup with “cheese” dye. It’s super watery. It looked like they didn’t drain the pasta water and just poured powdered cheese into the bowl. It was flavorless. The coleslaw looked creamy, but was super vinegary and tasted stale. I’ve had better barbecue in Massachusetts. TLDR: Steal their sauce and leave everything else behind.

Really enjoyed Warpigs it's pretty authentic to what they do in the US and they have it set up really well. Grab a beer, grab a tray, place your food order then find a space at the tables and get stuck in. The only slight negative was the brisket was a little dry but the flavours from the smoke and rubs were excellent. The sides are really good too and it's pretty decent value for money considering the quality

An absolute must for anyone visiting Copenhagen. Less than ten minutes walk from the main station. Great choice of beers and food You must have the brisket. People of all ages and nationalities getting along

The ribs and brisket were absolutely amazing, tender and flavorful. They paired well with the coleslaw, mac ‘n’ cheese, pickles, and all the sauces, which were each delicious in their own way. The beer selection was also excellent and rounded out the meal perfectly. The only dish that didn’t quite match the level of the others was the chicken wings. They lacked the slow-cooked texture we were hoping for. The highlight there was really just the honey spicy sauce they were covered in.

For a place which specialises in smoked meats, the meats were absolutely disappointing. It was salty, dry and expensive. All the cuts were hard to chew. I got the trooper plate plus a cheesy sausage aka "special link". The sausage was lukewarm and the other meats were cold. Thats very disappoining for a plate which costs me €45. The mac 'n cheese was cold as well. Good creamyness but the macaroni was hard and the cheese taste was missing. Best thing on the plate was the coleslaw, had the right amount of sause. I really liked the choice of craft beers. I got a smoked beer the "anchestors memory". It pairs ok with the meats. But again, might be different if theu were edible. The ambiance was al right. It was loud but cosy. Theres no airco so you might get hot easily. The tables and seats were clean. To top it off there was no service for food and drinks. The cashiers were rushed and had a cold attitude. There was no time for explaining what they had. Overall, nice place but bad food.

No visit to Copenhagen is complete without a trip here. Brisket so good I would walk from the U.K. for it. Great beers too and my boys loved the afternoon vibe, fried shrimp and Mac n cheese!

Had a Bearnaise offer with ekstra bacon and a German Hell lagerbier. Really a great greasy burger, full of flavors... but small pieces of Fries are no go. OK beer Temperature and humidity is a killer

Bugger me, what a burger! You will not be left disappointed when you get your jowls wrapped around this delicious meaty feast. To say this is good is an understatement. Unbelievably tasty bacon of the highest standards (as you'd expect of a Danish meathouse). We upgraded to the sweet potatoe fries, and worth every single penny. Fast turnaround time: smashing it but not smashed burgers. Only downside is that you can't be plus size and fit in the seats. Some would say pricey for a burger... the only way this is true is if you're not willing to pay to live life. If you don't come here when you're in Denmark... there is no hope. Just go home and eat a Findus pie... no word of a lie.

Great and friendly service. Had the spicy bbq burger and IPA. The burger had slaw and blue cheese and was cooked a perfect medium. The IPA was a great accompaniment to the "messy" but delicious spicy bbq burger. Highly recommend.

I saw at some web pages this restaurant recomended as one of the best and cheapest of Copenhaguen, and I can confirm it. I went to have dinner and the special burger with curry sauce was really really nice. The owner is a very good person and that is something to highlight. The place is very small but if you go to Copenhaguen you must eat here once

This burger place is a tiny one concerning the size of it but when it comes to the taste it is huge. Joe is incredibly helpful, friendly and humorous. And he makes an incredibly tasty salmon burger. The fish was tender, juicy and just perfect in combination with the slightly spicy and fresh sauces it is served with. The fries were a little bit too crispy to be perfect but this doesn't harm my great experience at this cool place since the service and the burgers are outstanding. Beef burger was also delicious. Prices are super affordable. If you enjoy great burgers just go there!

I didn't comment immideately because I wanted to spend some time on this. I had read several reviews about this particular shop and it immediately entered the list of those I would like to visit. So on my birthday I decided to go for a burger to celebrate by myself. Walking in, I saw an old-school burger shop, and inside a gentleman carefully preparing his orders. The catalog was on loan so I asked him what to get, should I try the banana joe or the one with salmon. I end up getting the banana joe, so I sit outside waiting for my order. After a few hours I am ready and I am served an excellent burger with lots of taste and love, all the ingredients in absolute balance, something that you cannot find in Copenhagen. After I have finished my meal, I see the gentleman coming out and offering me some salmon on a plate, to try it and that's what he told me. Somewhere there we start talking for a long time and introduce ourselves to Chiheb, a very interesting conversation with a wonderful person. Going to leave I go to pay he tells me -whatever you need don't hesitate, -I say thank you. - I ask him how much it costs? I-t's your birthday George, we're fine, happy birthday! I think it is one of the moments I will remember forever, far from home and those you love, to have someone show you that some moments and days are superior to others. With a lot of food choices and attached to an amusement park ! A very nice spot. We had lunch and it was great. It can take a few minutes to find a table if you’re with friends or family.

So many people raved about this place but I can say I won’t be returning. There are various food stands to choose from. French, Italian, sushi, ramen, salads, burgers and so on. Be careful of your stuff as there are pickpocketers. Are at Kung Fu. Wasn’t the best ramen but in Copenhagen everything requires a reservation so this is perfect for in the go food. Not too loud with plenty of seating.

Visited for Gorm’s Pizza – Great Food, Long Wait Stopped by here specifically to try Gorm’s Pizza. The wait time was quite long—around 40 minutes—which felt a bit much, especially with a kid. The place was overcrowded, possibly because it was a weekend. That said, the food made up for the wait. The pizza and garlic bread were truly authentic and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're a food lover. There are plenty of food options overall, though not as many choices for vegetarians.

Wide range of foods available, simple order and collect system. Lots of tables and spaces to eat. All the food we had was of a decent quality for the price/location. Simple and no fuss. Was busy and I suspect it always is. You don't need to have paid for Tivoli gardens to go to food court. Kids liked it and it was busy

The steak here is rustic and no-frills — don’t expect any doneness options; it comes fully cooked by default. It’s served with a local-style butter and arugula mix that’s packed with flavor. The salad dressing is sweet and tangy, and the slightly bitter greens balance out the richness of the meat. Overall, it’s a well-rounded dish. 🌯 Greek Chicken Wrap A total letdown! Way worse than the pita wraps you get on the streets of Athens — and they had the audacity to charge 99 DKK. There was barely any meat in it, and the taste was dry and bland. I’ve had €2 pita wraps in Athens with more beef and way better flavor. This one only offered chicken, and it was both expensive and disappointing. I only ordered it because of the amazing smell from the grill… turns out the aroma was a trap! Avoid it! 🍝 Bolognese Pasta A classic Italian dish with beef ragù. I personally found the pasta too firm — not my kind of texture — but my Italian partner actually liked it. That said, the meat portion was pathetically small for a dish that costs 109 DKK. Definitely not as good a deal as the steak❗️ All in all, the steak stands out as the best value dish — plenty of meat and good flavor. The place is usually packed, and finding a seat can be tricky 🪑. Some of the quieter stalls still have empty bar seats — likely because the food there isn’t great. So yes, choosing wisely takes a bit of observation. After 8:30 p.m., the crowd starts thinning out and seats become easier to find. It’s also a great place for solo diners — no pressure to finish everything. 👤🍽️

What a lovely place, so many options, a nice relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. The only thing that could make it better is a nice refreshing glass of water. Dream on, you won't be getting water here, every single food stand will refuse you, and they'll tell you to fill your water bottle up in the toilets, but your water bottle won't fit under the taps, and the taps only make tepid water, you'll be despairing, absolutely despairing. The last thing you need is to pay for bottled water, it's the last thing anyone needs. Also the toilets weren't very big and were down a big staircase. Can't stress enough though the food really was delicious.

I won’t come back here again once I travel Copenhagen. I can understand the hype because of the aesthetic vibe but it is a bakery cafe. That means the bread should be good. However, for me the taste was not amazing. Especially the sausage roll was awful. I wasn’t able to have a bite because of the unappetizing flavor. I would rather go to another bakery for better brunch and save time traveling. Most of the reason people come over this place is probably because of pictures. I also came here because of pictures on instagram, Pinterest even though it is very far away from the city center. However, while I was having a brunch here, I heard a staff yell at a customer who was taking a picture in front of other customers. At that moment many people came with professional cameras but they didn’t say anything but only to that asian woman. One of the staff yelled “do not take a picture, respect the privacy”. When I checked her camera, it was a very old digital camera. I mean, I can understand that staffs are sensitive about privacy. Then why don’t you wear a mask or ask all people not to take a picture?

We came here for brunch and good vibes. The atmosphere is great like we have seen in others' photos. However, the brunch and bakery is very simple. Coffee is too light for us. The only thing we like is Egg on rye while sausage roll and brunch plate (bread, butter and jam) are so so.

Cozy cafe, staff are nice enough and the food tastes good. Not the best bakery around…but still nice to try. The filtered coffee is very average. Try get there earlyish as they sell out by 2pm.

I was alone and as much as I wanted to try everything I stuck to the famous “not cinnamon” bun. Where they used local herbs instead of cinnamon it was flaky buttery and soft and they had the olive oil pumpkin cake. Both were amazing I wish I was with more people to order more and try all. DONT GO ALONE to try all the yummy goods

We went with three friends, and we never thought we'd eat such a delicious cake. It was the best thing I've had in Copenhagen. The cake melted in your mouth, and the cream was delicious. It's definitely worth trying 🤝🏻

Fantastic breakfast. The staff was very kind and the food was spectacular. I had a frøhsnapper (sesame AND poppy seeds, ear grey cream), which might possibly be the greatest pastry I’ve ever eaten. The granola+yogurt+fruit was delicious as well. I have two more days in Copenhagen, I will definitely try to come back. Thank you!!

We are addicted to this lovely cafe. Immaculate chill vibes. Cozy atmosphere. Great view of Rosenborg Castle. Great music choice. But of course the food is astounding. The bacon buddy with the chutney is savory decadence (and they surprised me by also having cholula) and the cro-sandwich is absolutely to die for. The yogurt was also packed full of goodies. We find ourselves coming back here nearly every morning, and we are going to miss it.

Went to do some work on a Sunday and got lucky with an open table, the rest of the place was full and there aren’t a lot of tables to begin with. I had a latte and their sourdough bun and everything was delicious. I was able to stay for a few hours and get some work done and read with a nice environment around. I was also there when, just across the street, the guards were beginning their march to the palace, which is always cool to see.

Fantastic little coffee shop close to Rosenborg Castle. Good choice of coffee & tea, with excellent bakery items. Recommend the banana bread and pear tart. Very friendly service. Dressing upstairs. Definitely worth a visit.

Avocado rye toast with a fried egg was yummy. Not the same avocado toast from america, definitely healthier and delicate with cheesy flavor.

After eating at a much pricier and well-known restaurant the night before, this meal was the best we had during our weekend in Copenhagen. Everything was amazing and the kitchen bar atmosphere and the professionalism of the kitchen team was noticeable. The fried aubergine were an unexpected favorite!

The food’s a proper fusion Chinese delight-my favourite, honestly-and the drinks? Absolutely spot-on. Shame about the service, though. Last time, the waitress was an absolute gem, all warm and on it, but this time the waiter seemed a bit checked out.

The experience was amazing ! I went solo sat at the bar the chefs were super friendly and we chitchatted throughout and waitress was great and friendly. Food started off so well the first two dishes their take on shrimp roast and especially the crispy aubergine was the star then it went down from there I had the noodles they were too vinegary (I don’t eat pork so I had it removed, this could have been spicy to balance out the food). And the dessert I hand fruity one with plums it has too much of the Chinese spices that took it away for me. I wish I had kept the momentum there. Worth trying I would go again and stick to all small dishes rather than main. I’ll also say the duck looked amazing but could not order half a duck for myself.

I sat at the high top overlooking the chef’s station. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and interactions with the chefs and the staff. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the slight variations on the dishes I tried, especially the (smoked?) tea dust on the black bean chicken. I was a little sad that I didn’t have more time in the city to go back and try some other dishes.

Highly recommend this restaurant! It was incredible! The menu is chinese fusion shared plates style and we ordered most of it and it was all very good. The quality of the food was high and our favorites included: the aubergine (a must get), the salads, the greens, the venison, the dan dan noodles (a must get), the halibut, and the scallops! We also got the mango dessert which was remarkable. Drink menu is also so fun! Excellent selection of tea including pu-erh. Service was great, they were super nice. Overall one of our favorite restaurants this trip!

What an awesome restaurant. Started with lovely genuine hello or welcome by the staff as we walked through the restaurant. My cocktail was outstanding and they let my wife try a couple of wine tastings until she found something she liked. The food was sooo tasty. All dishes were fantastic but the aubergine was next level. Ignore the fact it says fish sauce as it isnt and doesn't taste like that. Combo of sweet and spicy was Devine. Is a little on the pricey side but worth it in my view for a superb evening.

I’m baffled how this restaurant has so many amazing reviews. Overall, the food was overly salty and/or too much vinegar with very little flavor. We ordered several dishes and only the single order oysters and the salad were good. The black bean chicken and the wontons were fine but the fried rice, dan dan noodles, the cucumbers and the bao were bad. My friend ordered a cocktail and didn’t like her drink either. This restaurant is insanely overhyped and overpriced. I can get better Chinese take out in most major cities for a fraction of the price. Paying nearly $300 for this tasteless meal honestly felt like I was being swindled. The restaurant was mostly empty and didn’t have a good atmosphere for dinner on a Sunday night. I should have known by the emptiness of this restaurant. The service was fine but not great. Save yourself a lot of money and time and go somewhere else. There are plenty of great restaurants in Copenhagen and this is certainly not one of them.

We enjoyed the cocktails here. The cocktail with champagne and ice cream was really nice. The old fashioned was a tad too sweet for me.

Probably the best bar in Copenhagen nested inside the Sanders hotel. You'll have an option to choose from a well curated cocktail list or order something classic off the menu - you'll get it well prepared by the professional bar staff. We've been to the place numerous times and it is a must have bar to visit while in town.

This a very nice - grown up - cocktailbar in connection to Hotel Sanders. Great location in a surprisingly quiet street next to Kongens Nytorv. You can sit inside or outside. We do prefer inside during autumn/winter - very cozy atmosphere. You can’t make a reservation so be patient or accept that you might not be able to have a place.

A hotel bar, it was quite busy, but bartenders cool and joking. I greatly enjoyed the W&P, a nice variation of a white Negroni. The asian Martini - don't recall the exact name - was very "tame" though ... too tame for a Martini.

I have to say, Dalle Valle is quite a steal. It has a pretty bad reputation, and I also get why. It’s mass-produced, made for big parties, big groups, school classes — basically for everyone. It’s not fancy, and they’re not trying to be either. They know exactly who they are. If you’re two people and just want to eat a lot for cheap, this is probably the best value food you can get in Copenhagen. I was really hungry today, and I just wanted a buffet — to eat a lot, not care about the quality, just go a bit crazy with a plate. And you know what? For a buffet, it’s actually solid. They’ve made some good choices with what they serve. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. Around 200 kroner for two people, and all you need to add is drinks — that’s pretty good value. A lot of the food items are, of course, not great, but the pizza is actually pretty solid, and so is the meat. Some of it’s a bit dry, sure, but again, it’s a buffet. It’s not a restaurant, and you can’t really expect more than that. For what it is — a cheap, no-nonsense buffet where you can eat as much as you want — it does a good job. 4 out of 5. One of the better buffets, really high value.

This is a deceptive restaurant. I must report it today. Its advertisement is simply to deceive tourists who do not understand Danish. When I went in to eat, I thought the prices were as stated on the sign, but when I paid the bill, it was double the price. The attitude of the staff was also very bad, which gave me a very bad impression of restaurants in Copenhagen.

Dalle Valle presents itself as a wide and varied buffet, but the overall experience reveals inconsistent execution and a focus on quantity over quality. Main dishes The fish, likely pollock, is crispy and flavorful, though clearly frozen and fried. The roasted potatoes are one of the strongest items: well-seasoned, served with a creamy white sauce, and genuinely enjoyable. The orange-colored couscous is interesting and seasoned, though the use of coloring agents is evident. On the other hand, the chow mein is outright bad: cold, oily, and unjustifiable in its condition. The Caesar-style salad fails with excessive grease and artificial flavors. The eggs taste fake, the pork bacon is tasty but too tough, the pancakes are industrial, cold, and dry around the edges. The American-style bacon is particularly poor: overcooked, hard, and nearly inedible. Pizza There are three options, all with similar flaws. The dough lacks fermentation and sticks to the mouth. The ham pizza uses flavorless, low-quality ham, though the result is not entirely disastrous. The beef pizza offers an acceptable combination, but the meat is poorly distributed and lacks balance. Fruit, cheese, and desserts The chocolate pudding is overly foamy and completely artificial. The camembert, though large and soft, lacks character. Among the fruit, the grapes stand out with a peculiar and pleasant profile, but the pears are unacceptable: green, hard, and flavorless. Conclusion Dalle Valle in Copenhagen offers a few highlights (roasted potatoes, couscous, grapes), but most dishes reveal careless preparation, reliance on industrial products, and poor quality control. It is a buffet that delivers variety but fails to provide a consistent or memorable dining experience.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service. The staff displayed a cold attitude and were reluctant to assist. Additionally, no one came to clean the table. I expected a pleasant dining experience, but this was not the case. I do not plan to return unless service standards improve.

A small little 'restaurant' that everybody chooses to dine outside right in the nature viewing the waterfront. This place is quite popular among the young and students as it is a great place to have meaningful conversations. Food is excellent and so is their service.

La Banchina is one of the most unique spots in Copenhagen — the perfect mix of cozy and vibrant canal-side vibes. Sitting right by the water with a cold beer in hand feels like pure relaxation. The fish burger was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. If the weather is warm, you can even take a refreshing dive right into the canal, and for colder days, there’s a sauna that makes the experience extra special. The atmosphere is laid-back, with people lounging by the wooden docks, chatting, and enjoying the sun. Prices are fair for Copenhagen — a great balance between quality and setting. The only thing to keep in mind is the oysters: delicious but pricey, 220 DKK for 6 (about $31–32 USD). Still, the experience makes it worthwhile. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water, grab a tasty bite, or have a drink in a unique setting, La Banchina is absolutely worth a visit!

A really great spot. Went on two cold autumn days across my trip and had a dip and then enjoyed some tea and coffee. The vibes inside are super cozy in the colder months and the swimming area is nice and quiet, although I know in summer it is much more social and packed. A lovely place to reflect and slow down, the staff are very welcoming too.

This is such a great spot. We went on a sunny Saturday afternoon and still managed to snag a seat. You can order beers, wines and food from the bar and bring them over to enjoy wherever you’re sitting. A great spot for swimming or just chilling by the water with a cool vibe.

Spectacular organic fish shack. Seasonal short menu but everything was a star. The fish burger was amazing with oyster mayonnaise and brioche. Also loved the smoked cauliflower. Great organic wines as well.

Greeted upon arrival and quickly served. We ordered a croissant, chocolate chip cookies, a latte and a cold brew on ice. Service was friendly and helpful; suggested cold brew over the iced Americano I initially ordered. The cold brew was amazingly smooth. So, I'm glad I went with the suggestion. The croissant was not overly flaky, yet the crumb was beautiful and soft. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was chewy with a good amount of chocolate and the perfect sprinkle of salt.

This is THE first place I went after I touched down and HAD to get the cardomom croissant. Giving it a 50/10 if I can, it’s THAT good that I had to pack 5 of it to bring home to share with my family and friends. Came back a few times afterwards and honestly the service there is top notch, coffee is amazing and just the ambience is great too! Can’t wait to be back!

The best Croissant (cardamom Croissant) I've had and i did have quite a lot of Croissants having traveled some 28 countries. I wanted to mention "one of the best" but im trying to remember how many were nicer than this one. The filter coffee was good. We also took a vanilla custurd pastry, Croissant & Tebirkes for the journey ahead and all of those were amazing. The place was cozy, the staff was humble and took time to give me recommendations I asked for

Great coffee and very nice staff. It’s a self service place. They have different options for pastry but more into breads. It was very crowded and a huge line for ordering. Plenty of outdoor seats but just a few for indoor.

Slurp is a cozy ramen joint that delivers a solid bowl when you’re in the mood for noodles. The Shio Ramen is light but flavorful, while the Veggie Ramen is surprisingly hearty and doesn’t feel like a compromise. The gyoza is fine and the Nduja Miso ramen is just okay, leaning more on the novelty side than the must-order list. Still, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the ramen itself is satisfying enough to keep you warm on a cold Copenhagen day.

The staff is very friendly and speaks very good English. The menu is small and has 4 different ramen options. The broth is very rich and tasty. The price is not very cheap and coming to that I would have loved to get the pork meat grilled, it was cold and more in the style of roast beef. The noodles where a little bit sticky which made it hard to slurp the noodles because they all wanted to come together at once, but that’s a small detail. There was quite loud music and the seats were very close to each other so it felt a bit tight to sit at the tables. I would definitely recommend this restaurant because they have a very good broth which I think not many ramen restaurants outside of Japan are good at.

Fusion Japanese ramen, the sashimi was good, the rest was not absolute terrible. The most disturbing part is that you have to pay after every time you order something, also kinda small space if you sit at the bar and they expect us to just squeeze in :)

We were cold and tired after a looooong day exploring and this was the perfect, most delicious, end. So delicious and a great atmosphere with some good music. This is the best ramen I’ve eaten! I want to come back to Copenhagen just to eat it again.

Saw the nduja butter ramen all over my Instagram and knew I had to try it for myself! Lucky that my hotel was just opposite! Got tempted by the aubergine starter which was extremely delicious! Very happy with the ramen, super innovative and although quite different to the ones I had in Japan, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily recommend it! Next time, I’ll have to try the chicken karaage!

I highly recommend this place! We tried the schnitzel sandwich — crispy bread, perfectly cooked, and oh my gosh, so delicious. We also tried the beef sandwich, which was just as amazing. The bread is wonderfully crispy with a rich, buttery flavor that makes every bite memorable.we ordered Ipa beer Girl from ipa /nema. Definitely a 5-star experience and a must-visit for tourists! Doomsday Deli is a great sandwich that features a variety of gourmet sandwiches using fresh local ingredients. We enjoyed the variety and uniqueness of the sandwiches on the fresh bread. A highlight was the roasted aubergine, it had a nice level of spice without being overwhelming.

Took a takeaway on the last day of our copenhagen trip, really had a good experience. Had chicken toast, the flavours were amazing. Chicken was so juicy and tender, bread was well toasted. It hit the right spots. Highly recommend it.

This was an amazing lunch spot on my weekend trip to Copenhagen. The schnitzel sandwich here is THE thing to get. The person next to my table audibly gasped when they saw my schnitzel sandwich, and I have to say they weren’t wrong. It was amazing, everything was greatly balanced, and I can see why this place has so high of reviews on Google!

I like the spot and the vibes, but as vegetarian I dont return very often due to the options offered. Something similiar to schnitzy, but veggie would smash it. Keep the vibes up! Update: I still love it, but missing the schnitzy vegetarian in the menu!

7-Eleven in Denmark is built different. Some of them is 7 like yesterday’s and todays is Eleven 🌟 I went visiting there 4 am in Danish time and got myself some fuels for the day as breakfast. The staff over there was extremely friendly and helpful, and we exchanged multiple words about our personal selves. Definitely a 11-Eleven if you ask me. You should avoid the river 7-Eleven and go to this Eleven-Eleven during midnight/early morning💙

It's actually pretty good. Cannot complain at all, the staff is friendly, there is a decent variety of food and beverages, so it's nice.

I ordered a muffin at 01:30 on Friday. It was very hot so I ate it at speed where I would not burn my mouth. 3 minutes I was in the store and the security guy came up and grabbed me and threw me out of the store. Terrible experience.

Standard 7-Eleven experience. The store is small and doesn't have as much as other locations. Prices are decent. We stopped here for bottled water. My partner tried a couple pastries. The store is clean and the product they do have are well stocked.

Friendly staff, good varieties, however their price is much more expensive compared to other grocery stores such as (Fotex, Netto). Would not recommend any 7-11 in Copenhagen unless you are in urgent need of something.

The hot chocolate machine is both broken and disgusting. They tried fixing it with some wooden sticks, but looks really unprofessional for a big chain like 7/11

Was totally blown away to discover that 7-eleven in Denmark and Norway serve paleo salads with peas, salmon, quinoa and greens, as well as green smoothies and vegan energy bars. Super convenient when you arrive late from a flight connection.

Our first dinner in Copenhagen was at Vækst, and it set a beautiful tone for the trip. The restaurant, part of the Cofoco group and tucked beside Hotel SP34, feels like stepping into a greenhouse; filled with plants, glass, and soft light. We were seated downstairs, which was quiet and calm, a lovely start to the evening. We chose the three course menu and really enjoyed it. The salted halibut and fried plaice were incredible, perfectly cooked and delicious. I also appreciated how easily they made my husband’s dishes dairy free, and the small bites between courses were thoughtful and delicious. The staff were friendly and polite, but something about the service felt a little impersonal; it took a while for anyone to greet us or explain the menu, and wine recommendations did not happen as there was no sommelier. Everything ran smoothly and at the same time food came out fast if that makes sense; and that warmth and storytelling that make a dining experience truly special were missing for me. Still, the food was delicious and although our experience wasn’t completely perfect, I would absolutely recommend Vækst for a lovely dinner or lunch in Copenhagen. NOTE: For those who like less noise, book the earliest seating while it is still reasonable for nice conversation.

Magnificent! Excellently executed food and outstanding atmosphere and service! We took 3-course menus with wine pairings and this was plenty of food (honestly don’t know how hungry you must be for a 4 course menu). They add additional mini-dishes in between main servings so there will be enough great food coming your way! Wine pairings are very generous too! Very good amount of wine, every serving.

We had lunch at Vækst in Copenhagen as part of our wedding celebration with close friends and family – and it was such a lovely experience. We were a group of nine and went for the three-course lunch menu, with drinks à la carte. The service was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive from start to finish. We were seated upstairs, with the windows open and fresh air coming in, which made the atmosphere feel relaxed and summery. We really appreciated the small greetings from the kitchen in between the courses – especially before the starter and main course – which helped bridge the time nicely and made it feel even more thoughtful. The only downside was that the wait between the main course and dessert was a bit too long, and by the time coffee arrived, it was not really hot anymore. That said, everything else was perfect. The food, the setting, the people – it all made for a memorable afternoon. We’d absolutely recommend Vækst and would gladly come back.

This was our second booking with a restaurant in the Cofoco group and it was yet another excellent meal. The restaurant is spread across 2 floors and seemed quieter on the below ground floor, with big party groups upstairs. Service was a little slow to start with, but excellent, and staff had no trouble dealing with a request for a gluten free meal. The presentation of the dishes is spectacular, and every course was superb. There’s a very good range of wines by the glass, and for the city, and the quality, this was an excellent value meal.

Took forever to get our table even though we had a reservation. Then it took forever to bring out the food. And it was pretty disastrous. Had the 4 course menu. Bread is rock hard, butter had no taste. Complimentary foods were okay. Scallops are freezing cold and no taste whatsoever. Caviar is forgettable. Tatar of beef is mushy, tastless, cold. The potato chips are lacking imagination. Complimentart mushroom soup is salted to the point you can't eat it. Main course of tenderloin was tasty tho the portion is small. I tasted the fried cod as well it was mediocre at best. Had the apple sorbet for dessert, which was the only exciting dish. The cream was phenomenal. But again, it was like 2 bites. Waiters were great but the service is slow. Avoid.

Wanted to try this restaurant long time as heard it’s amazing - and yes it is! And with how busy it is at 20pm on Wednesday completely full proves that, even though it has a lot of seating. Therefore must be booked, for people who is into wine would love the place, every course is paired with nice wine.

Come with my wife on 2025 Nov, the food is so good, service so good, two kinds of menu that with wine or without. A little bit expensive but acceptable. Table is not so big.

Brilliant toasts, and a required eating for anyone visiting Copenhagen. I recommend the herring and the plaice. The herring has the right amount of pickling to cut against the nutty bread. The topping is salty and fatty to add more depth, with the greens fresh enough to round out the dish with a vegetal wrap. But the plaice is even better. A relatively thick fillet, lightly fried, with a lovely mayo on top, this I could eat a bunch of. The fish is so so good, and because of the lightness of the breading, the underlying rye bread is still the right base. Other fried fish is done on light brioche breads, but this fish is better with the nutty rye. The dressing on this is also excellent and savory. Highly, highly recommend. I will try to go back every year I'm in Copenhagen. I also recommend trying to order and eat indoors as the building provides shade from the sun, making the outdoor seating area a bit chilly. However, if you sit outdoors you don't have to go inside as you can order from QR codes. So outdoors may be better if you're impatient.

The food was exceptionally tasty! The prawn with the sourdough bread was my favourite! They do very cute takeaway boxes which is perfect for a picnic and their coffee is very good too. Very clean and cozy place.

I can recommend the herring, and perhaps other cold options. I think the plaice with shrimp salad is overpriced for what it offers. This one piece was 165 dkk (almost £20 a piece..). Basically tastes like fried fish with mayo-based sauce. Not bad but def not worth £20 even for cph prices.

One of our favourite meals in Copenhagen! The smorrebrods were super delicious and the menu was smaller which we appreciated cause it made selecting a lot easier. Everything we tried were worth it and the prices were actually not too bad compared to places we’ve tried. The space is small and don’t have a ton of tables but highly recommend!

We came at around 4pm on Sunday so the inside was not occupied at all. We came as we had watched Somebody Feed Phil and I really wanted to try the Smorebrpd. Honestly it’s sooooooo good. We had three veggie options (2 cold, one warm) and two fish options (both cold). My husband was really impressed with his fish options and also loved my veggie options. We also had the snaps tastings. We walked out really full and really happy to have tried this place and for sure, we know we can’t get better than this (each one was different, flavourful, had great texture). For sure I would revisit next time I’m back in CPH.

Got the beef tartare, just out of this world ❤️❤️❤️ Too bad I only got 1 (bcs I will have a proper dinner after, and just wanna give it a try) but defo will be back to try other ones (esp the herring one). Their sister resto got a michelin star, so I got a rly high expectation (and did not disappoint) One of the best dishes I have in Copenhagen

Run, don’t walk to eat the most delicious smørrebrøds ! I discovered this gem last year thanks to the Copenhagen episode of Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix and I knew I had to go back when I visited again a few weeks ago. This time, I had to go back twice as I absolutely fell in love with the beef tartar, rhubarb compote and cream cheese mousse smørrebrød! 11/10, no notes! I also tried the curried herring (deliciousssss), the roast beef (yummy) and the butter-fried plaice and shrimp salad. Always a great meal for each of my 3 visits and I will undeniably be back next time I’m in Copenhagen. Highly recommend.

We had a generally pleasant experience at Oysters & Grill. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which created a nice atmosphere. When we arrived, the waiter asked if we would like him to “offer” us a glass of Prosecco before ordering. Based on how it was phrased—and from past experiences at other restaurants—we assumed this was a complimentary welcome drink. So, it was quite surprising to see a charge of 130 DKK for the two glasses on the final bill. The wording made it sound like a hospitable gesture, not something that would be added to the check. A clearer approach would have been to simply ask, “Would you like to order a glass of Prosecco to start?” As for the food, everything we ordered was quite good. We had the padrón peber, moules frites (generous portion), grillet havbars (also well-sized), and the yellowtail. The yellowtail was especially tasty, although the portion was noticeably smaller than what we had seen in the photos. Complimentary bread slices were also brought to the table, which was appreciated. Another positive experience was the trust the staff showed when it came to redeeming our Cofoco points. I had called the restaurant beforehand and was told I could just provide my name and email to redeem points. So I didn’t bring my physical Cofoco card. Only upon arrival did I learn that the card was in fact needed. Thankfully, they kindly let me go home to get it without any issue, which I really appreciated. Overall, the experience was good—just slightly dampened by the misleading Prosecco situation and somewhat high prices. Still, the warm staff and enjoyable food made it a worthwhile visit.

However, this did not significantly detract from an otherwise highly positive experience. The delectable food and pleasant ambiance collectively contributed to a memorable visit.

This place just became an all-star-place for me! Apart from the ravishingly fresh fish, the people are very nice and walk the extra mile for you to feel welcome. I will definitely come back whenever in Copenhagen, and I recommend everyone to give this place a try, too!

We had a fantastic evening at Oysters & Grill! The atmosphere was vibrant, the service warm and attentive, and the food absolutely delicious. The shrimp and langoustines were perfectly prepared – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great wine selection, too. A true gem in Copenhagen – we’ll definitely be back!

This is IT ! One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had here in Copenhagen! It was so good the first time we went there that we had to come back the next day hahaha ☀️🍤🐠They have a lot of tables so there is always space for you. The decor adds beach and holiday vibes, and it’s so cozy! The staff was so friendly, especially one waiter we had both times (diner on 30th and 31th of August) , who recognized us the second time 🫶 The food was perfect with great portions and served in elegant plates! We loved the fact that the quality was so good but the place was lowkey. The prices are fair for the amount and quality that you get. They also have an extensive drink menu if you are looking for nice cocktails to add to your experience 🍹🍸We will definitely come back next time we’re in Copenhagen 🥹

Fresh, delicious open face sandwiches. The shrimp and fish cake were extremely good choices with an amazing depth of flavour that felt well balanced and very fresh. The queue is worth the wait.

Open face sandwiches that are made right on the spot and lot of various types to chose from. What is most important is that they are fresh. They do look small and I took 2 at the time. I can tell that one would be more than enough and I barely finished the second one and honestly was struggling as I was more than full. Lot of toppings and various drinks to chose from. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. Bread is perfect pair with whatever type you chose. I would visit again.

Probably the best smørrebrød you can find! It gets quite busy during peak hours, but it’s definitely worth it. The selection is fantastic and everything tastes absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

The famous Copenhagen porridge chain, for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you so desire. Sadly, the porridge is no longer gluten free, which was one of major attractions for us, but fortunately there were a few other non-porridge GF options which hit the spot for breakfast.

We had the hoisin chicken bowl and congee chicken bowl, both tasted incredible, one of the best bowls I've had. Lots of breakfast foods, some lunch items. Highly recommend stopping by

Open kitchen bar seating. I ordered the mushroom risotto for £11, the portion was very good and I was pleasantly surprised! However it was too salty so I did struggle to finish, it was tasty though just had to dial down on the salt. Not exactly Danish cuisine but this place was an affordable option, finally.

I came for the porridge. It wasn’t spectacular or hot, but it was tasty and I appreciated being able to customize the toppings. Great ambiance (credit goes to the marketplace it is a part of), but the caveat of this location is limited seating (not a bad thing—just know it is highly likely you’ll need to take your food with you).

Super delicious and healthy food & drinks, also you can have a seat in front of the shop at Torvehallerne. It is a good address to try matcha latte or chai latte as well but I would defined recommend you to try one of the bowls. It is quite tasty!

You can start your day with a perfectly cooked porridge. Well balanced salt and creamy texture match the fruits or nuts. Highly recommend!

We preferred to eat oatmeal and waffles. The waffles had a strong egg smell, which was a bit unpleasant, but the toppings were really delicious.

This adorable little restaurant is the epitome of a hidden gem. Tucked away in a little side street in vesterbro, you may miss it but for the green fun MadGlad sign. There's a meal of the day ( either veggie or meat) which comes with a selection of beautiful and colourful salads. The vibe is super cozy. If you are looking for an affordable dinner option while in Copenhagen, this is your place. We had a nice time. The lady who served us was a delight. Highly recommended

The man at the front counter was very kind and had a positive attitude. The food was delicious - I had the shepherd’s pie (made with beef) and a bowl of various mixed vegetable salads, topped with a generous portion of homemade baba ghanoush, and a slice of delicious bread. They said I could have as many helpings of salad as I wanted but everything I got was more than enough. I left satisfied and happy. Another plus is that the restaurant is on a street perpendicular to the main road with all of the restaurants. So, it’s a quieter atmosphere and not as packed.

Copenhagens best kept secret, this is where the locals eat. The best home cooked meals !They open at 16.30 by 17.15 a line out the door. Only open 5 days a week. Open 4.30 to 8.30.

It’s cafeteria style. You choose 3 types of vegetables and one main for 110 kr. Food changes everyday. What stands out to me about this place is its cozy atmosphere. Seems to be a place where friends and family eat, it’s very relaxing and it feels like eating at home.

Fantastic little cafeteria hidden in vesterbro. Serves a rotating daily meal with a meat-based choice and a vegetarian choice. Costs 75kr for takeaway without salad, 90kr with salad (choices between different pastas, beans, etc - you pick yourself), and 110kr if you wanna dine-in. A fine selection of cheap cakes and hand-sewn tote bags if you need something to carry it all home in.

Food was tasty even though I was a bit sceptic in the beginning. The plates, cutleries and table were looking clean amd tap water had a good taste. I am a bread lover and this one is definitely great. The main course was delicious and salads good as well. We could do a refill for salads but we were already full after eating all we had in our plates. The place has a country looking which I don't necessarily like. There was a strange smell I couldn't identify in the whole place. The lady who filled our plates was extremely nice. Overall the concept is great and good money value for what they offer (100dkk per person)

Our Danish friend brought us here for upscale yet traditional Smørrebrød and we were very pleased! There was a wide variety of options, the coffee was good, and we enjoyed everything we ate.

What a great bar, serving excellent meals with amazing background music, from Gun Club, Tom Verlaine, Iggy Pop and more… We were looking for a place to have dinner in a bar that wasn’t touristy, and we found this excellent spot with perfect service and, as already mentioned, truly excellent food. Highly recommended.

This place was recommended and was attended by locals. The photos of the place and the actual place are out of date. It looked like an old pub. There were only 2 waiters serving the whole place and it looked like a total mess. The drinks order was wrong and we had to send it back 3 times. The simple food such as eggs royal took 30min to be prepared. It wasnt to the highest quality. The waitress was very slow and paid no attention to customers. One of the worst customer service seen in Copenhagen. I wouldnt recommend having breakfast there

Oddly enough, you have to seat yourself first, and then order your meal. As such, the service is okay compared to other places, and the portions are quite small, but it’s absolutely delicious. I had the avocado mouse bread which was fantastic!!!

This is the cosiest and the cutest local bar! We had the the wildflower IPA and shared the cod fish with the tartar sauce which was pretty good. Food and the drinks are super nice overall! Cannot wait to go back!

The poached eggs were amazing. The food and coffees were great. However, there are two drawbacks: the service and the beverages. We should have gone inside the restaurant to pay and there were no one to bring it to us. The finished the orange juice and there were not so many options on the menu! We ended up ordering bottled sangria for breakfast!!’

This is an amazing place to be! Even if Mad & Cafe next door is taken over the masses of young copenhagueins ( don’t know how to spell it) this place rocks The solid salmon avocado mousse and soft boiled eggs are the best in my life. Period A place to enjoy for hours

This local has such a cool vibe! I loved the interior! The dumplings were very yummy and quickly served. The local also has vegetarian options. However, the menu is quite small. Also, I needed at least 3 portions (=18 dumplings) to get full, as even two portions were still too small for me.

We went to this highly rated dumpling place and got surprised when we saw someone in the kitchen taking a dumpling bag from the freezer. The portions are also quite small, we got 2 portions per person and we were still starving after it. However, the terrace is cozy, the service is nice and efficient and the location is amazing. The dumpling scene is not too busy in Copenhagen so if you’re craving for dumplings and are not too too hungry it might be a good place to visit.

One of the very few places in this city that serve good Asian food at a reasonable price. We usually pay under 600kr for two, which feels like a rare win in Copenhagen. I absolutely love their peanut noodles and dumplings, really tasty and consistent. That said, I wish the atmosphere matched the quality of the food. There are three old, sticky tables outside that you end up sharing with strangers, and the indoor seating is in a half-basement with no air circulation. Definitely not cosy, just functional.. The staff aren’t particularly friendly, but that also feels like part of the general Copenhagen dining experience at this point. Come for the food, not the service or the vibe.

One of the best kebabs I’ve had in Copenhagen! The meat is perfectly seasoned, the bread is soft and fresh, and the sauces bring everything together beautifully. The portions are generous without being overwhelming, and everything tastes super fresh. The staff are friendly and fast, even when the place gets busy. Great spot in Vesterbro whether you want a quick bite or a late-night snack. Highly recommended!

I visited this location quite recently and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The person at the checkout asked all the necessary questions about my food and drink preferences, which was a great touch. Music was just on spot - not too loud and have the atmosphere of 2k! I got a falafel and can say it was 10/10, very unique flavors and texture. Haven’t had anything like that anywhere else. Definitely will come back with more friends

I have tried many kebab places but this one truly stands out. The meat is always juicy .Everything tastes fresh. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like a valued customer every time.

This was one of the best meals I had in Copenhagen, and of the best kebabs around the world. The flatbread, meat and sauces are simply delicious. It’s gonna be the first place where I will eat when I visit again.

Try the falafel and some french fries - delicious. The lamb kebab was epic too. And whoever thought sprinkling dukka on the fries was a genius.

SURT Carlsberg serves the best Italian pizza I have ever tasted. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, soft inside—and the flavors felt fresh and balanced. The toppings were not overloaded, but every bite was full of taste. I am used to pizzas often being very heavy with cheese and spices, but here the style was more authentic and natural. I really enjoyed this difference. It felt lighter yet more satisfying. We tried all 7 pizzas on the menu, and each one was delicious. My personal favorite was the Shrooms pizza – rich, earthy, and full of flavor. Drinks were excellent too, including Negroni, Gin & Tonic, and a lovely Red Wine. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse, both a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The place has a modern and cozy atmosphere, and the service was warm. For me, it was not just a meal, but an experience of true Italian pizza in Denmark. Highly recommended!

The pizza was good, but just good. For a basic pizza that’s 150kr+ I expect a lot more. The menu also consists of 6-7 pizzas and at 18:08 when we were ordering, one was sold out. Before the guests even arrive on a Friday 😬 I’m a bit tired of these Copenhagen restaurants that want to be fancy for no reason. Its a pizza restaurant, lets be in touch with reality for a second🫶🏼

If yuh enjoy trying something new then this is for you. Given these pizzas are made from sourdough does give the crust a little interesting edge. While the menu is limited, it does not disappoint with seasonal appetizers, salads and pizza.

They make the best sourdough pizza, what we have ever tasted in their own wood fired oven. You can see every step of the preparation from your table and the flames are mesmerizing! 🔥 Trying out the famous Hindsholm pizza is definitely a must, but do not skip the other dishes as well, because they are not just tasty and look beautiful, but you will feel the flavour of Sicily in every single bite. Great experience. The waiters are very friendly. It's a lovely place with great configuration with the pizza oven out in the open. Making pizzas myself, and having been around Italy tasting pizzas from Milano to Sicily I would rank this pizza as one of the best pizzas I've eaten. Great tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella, and a super light dough. And what in my opinion makes it special: it's cooked to perfection. The char on the cornicione, adds another level of taste, and it stands out among all the undercooked boring pizzas you see in so many places. And when it comes to dessert, the chocolate mousse is delicious. Not too sweet, but tastes how it's supposed to taste with perfect texture, and with little a surprise inside of the whipped cream. Of course this quality comes with a price which is quite high. It of course is expected since it's Copenhagen, but yea it's on the expensive side. I would say the the taste justifies it. So to sum up: top experience, top quality, high price.

The Hindsholm is definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had A LOT of different pizzas. A must eat!! Also happy that they finally serve pizza during lunch here. Great service too though they were mostly empty on a rainy Saturday lunch hour.

4 pizzas & 2 starters were shared between 5 people. There are the classic ones which were great but the more creative one like Hindsholm sausage we would definitely come back for. Well balanced with a slight tanginess from the fermented chili to cut the greasiness :) I’m normally not a pizza crust fan but this one was something else - great texture of soft, light and elasticity to the dough. I didn’t mind the charred crust at all as it adds another layer of smokiness to the pizza. Spacious space, dog friendly as a plus and attentive service. Our food came quickly. Price point might be on the expensive side hence 4 stars but overall definitely one, if not the best pizza Napolitano in Copenhagen!

Everything was Great . Busy Place, but totaly to recommend. Worth a little wait We got 2 Club and 2 SeranoHam - Perfekt.

This is a cute little shop located in the heart of the town, offering a wide variety of options. However, the sandwich I ordered was subpar in taste. Furthermore, I was disturbed by a major unsanitary practice: I bought a meatball bowl and the employee placed my meatball in the bowl without gloves. Really gross... Finally, the service was basic and barely offered with a smile.

Delicious fresh made sandwich on crispy wholemeal bread. We got the Club sandwich with the student discount and it was a great deal. Highly recommend for great eat ok a budget

Spare on the salt next time! I was here the other day with a buddy. I went with him to this place due to his recommandation. He ordered a few sandwiches and I got myself a Porkroast sandwich (Flæskestegssandwich) all freshly made. We paid and left! I took a bite on my sandwich, it came like a shock to me, My goodness it was very salty! I thought..Im just unlucky. Took another bite. Nah. It’s the pork rind that got sprinkled too much salt. I had to remove the pork rind, cause it was ruining the sandwich. Just a piece of advice. Pls do try the Roast pork first, before slicing and serving the slices on the sandwiches! Thank you.

We had two sandwiches here today. The club and the salmon/pesto. They were fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Great sandwiches with a lot of different options

Very unique flavor combinations and dishes. A lovely mix of Korean and other Asian flavors. Small plates, perfect for 2-3 people to share several dishes. The drink menu looked great too. The fried marinated eggs were our favorite, along with the Korean fried chicken, and pork skewers.

Food was good overall, though the fried chicken didn’t quite live up to the hype from other reviews, it was nice but nothing life-changing. On the other hand, the drinks were excellent, the staff super friendly, and the whole place has a really great vibe. Prices are also quite reasonable for Copenhagen.

Tasty and creative dishes, perfect for sharing with friends. We first tried Next Door at Propaganda, a new concept offering a 5-course sharing menu. The food was hearty, flavourful, and unique, a blend of home cooking and modern fusion. The cured shrimp bibimbap was unforgettable, still thinking about it! The seating felt intimate, like dining in someone’s home kitchen. We enjoyed it so much that we went back to try Propaganda, the original restaurant. We shared plates like fried chicken, cold noodles, BBQ fish, and the standout mushroom coconut sticky rice with its surprising burst of flavours. Service was attentive, though seating at the end of the bar counter was a bit tight, fitting six people. It was a busy Friday night, so expect a lively and boisterous atmosphere. Overall, both spots offered delicious, inventive food and a fun dining experience, definitely worth a try!

Perfect for dinner with friends, dates or solo grub. Accompanied by excellent service and even better food and drinks, the atmosphere never fails. Even the song list playing is carefully curated for the vibes to enjoy best fried chicken in town, or of your life perfectly paired with a selection of crafted innovative cocktails. Anything from the menu will make you remember it and wanting back soon for more.

The pork trotter croqueta was the highlight of our dinner! Though the rest was okay and good, it wasnt as amazing as that first dish! The croqueta was crispy but the pork trotter inside was so tender and braised really well. The tartar was also unique reminding me of a Vietnamese dish. The mains were a little of the let down. Though still tasted good, the pork neck felt lack lustre - particularly the sauce. I wondered if they can use whatever braising liquid from the pork trotter croqueta dish to be the rich base for that grilled neck sauce! The collar bone fish dish had better sauce but my partner picked out an earthy note he waant sure he liked. Alas. They were all good sharing plates nonetheless and the service was friendly and the athmosphere nice!

Good food at decent price; the place has large tables and benches so you end up sharing it with others, which can be annoying especially when you have to get up because they are so tightly packed it’s tough to make your way out. You have to order at the counter and then go pick it up, the vegan options were all amazing!

The tacos and salsa were pretty good. The nachos and guacamole were quite tasteless though, we were disappointed. Staff didn’t even greet us when we went in to the store, they just sitting at the back and only get to work after we have finished ordering with the device.

Nice place in Norrebro, service is welcoming and professional. The big taco was tasty, beware of the orange sauce though, my mouth is burning! Recommended for a quick lunch if you are in the area.

Tacos in copenhagen can be obscenely overpriced and, while not the best in town, it’s certainly the best value if you order the 5 for 140kr combo. The al pastor is the star of the show and even those who aren’t a fan of pork should give it a try and they might have their minds changed.

As it should be. Not more not less, Mexican correct! Simple - authentic - Micheladas con Clamato! Even the chief in kitchen this night was born and raised in Mexico. Visit. For the Micheladas, The daily manager in charge and Quesadillas. No tomato juice - Clamato solo - made to perfection!

Visited on an ordinary evening during the week with a couple of friends, we had called in advance to reserve a table but there was still quite some seating available. I expect it to get busier when closer to the weekends. I loved the place! Authentic Mexican cuisine, with plenty of options, mostly tacos and quesadillas, and some of them are also vegetarian. If you're hungry, go for one tacos grande + 3 quesadillas. Good value for money, portions are also more than decent! With approx 160 kr I was full (and was very hungry before). The atmosphere is chilled and cozy, I'd say it's a great place for small groups but also couples. Friendly and accommodating staff. I'll definitely come back sometime soon.

Located in such a downtown busy area, with many people (drunk people in the evening), I will be fair and give it four stars, for keeping the store fair clean, and not too busy. And they are always stacked with goods. And the staff do a great job, in a place that in periods must be very challenging to work in.

The store is in the basement and the layout is awful. There is seemingly no organization to the merchandise in the store. I watched while a clerk at the checkout berated a customer for asking what seemed to be a very reasonable question. Then I asked that same clerk another reasonable question (if they sold a corkscrew, they sell wine, so it seemed reasonable to me!) He rolled his eyes at me and pointed in a general direction , saying “try one of the tourist shops near the big street.” That jerk might not realize that his job largely depends on tourists like me and the other person he berated. Copenhagen was not at its friendliest in this store!

Well stocked supermarket in the middle of downtown Copenhagen. Plenty of fresh and packaged lines at reasonable price. Freindly and helpful staff who delivered service with a smile. The donuts were great at 7.00 K and the chocolate milk did not last very long at 8.00K
