Bakery
Juno the Bakery, located in Osterbro, is a popular spot known for its delectable pastries and bread. Founded by Emil Glaser, a former chef at Noma, this bakery has gained a strong following in just under a year. Customers often line up for their renowned cardamom swirls and other treats like crunchy croissants and sourdough bread. Using top-quality organic ingredients, the bakery bakes throughout the day and typically sells out quickly.
Absolutely Amazing – A Must-Visit in Copenhagen! I absolutely loved Juno the Bakery! The apple crumble pastry was sooooooo good – honestly one of the best pastries I've ever had. Every single bite was perfect. I've never had anything quite like it anywhere else. The quality, the flavor, the texture – just amazing. I still think about it and truly hope to go back someday. If you're in Copenhagen, don’t miss this place!

Seriously delicious. My husband and I came two days in a row and tried 8 different items across our visits— the cardamom bun, milk bread, seeded rye roll (with butter and cheese), pear frangepane, vanilla bun, almond pastry, princess cake, apple tart with vanilla cream. My top picks were the cardamom bun, frangepane, and the vanilla bun. However, I don’t think there are any bad options here. Everything was top quality. One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth a visit (or a few)!
Stacey L — Google review
What a bakery! Lovely place in Osterbro, 10'~15' by bike from the city center. You can takeout or eat on one of the outdoor tables near the entrance. Probably the best bakery I've ever been to. The apple tart is really outstanding if you're lucky enough to find it. A must visit if you're a foodie in CPH! Visited in Sep. '25.
Giovanni C — Google review
Visited around 1 pm on a weekday. There was quite a long line reaching out to the street, and I waited about 30 minutes. There were a few empty outdoor tables, so you can grab a seat while waiting in line. I bought the cardamom roll, almond croissant, and milk bun — all were delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste.
K E — Google review
Very rare that the food actually lives up the level virality and hype that this bakery has received! The cardamom bun easily exceeds the expectations! So delicious! It’s baked consistently throughout the day so it’s always fresh no matter when you get it. What makes delicious is that there is cardamom and syrup laced in inside each crevice of the knot without being too sweet at all. It’s incredibly moist. It’s kept its price consistent over the years even though there’s lines all day! Absolutely a world class bakery Tip: visit in the afternoon to avoid the large queues. I visited at 4pm and waited 5 mins
Leslie Z — Google review
The best bakery in Copenhagen and this is coming from someone who doesn't have sweet tooth. 100% get the cardamom bun otherwise you'll regret leaving without it. There is a cute park close by with benches, would recommend sitting there instead of trying to find space in their small front porch.
Aakarshika S — Google review
The hype is real. One of the longest lines I've seen and been in to get into a bakery in a while. I got the brioche bun that came with apples. It was amazing. Blew me away. I also got a small box of shortbread cookies to go and a milk bun. Worth waiting line or getting up extra early and beating the crowds. Nice neighborhood to walk around afterwards. The new port neighborhood is down the street from this bakery.

One of the most delicious and great bakeries in Copenhagen. Here you will try the real danish pastries. The cardamom one is like tasting heaven.

Bakery
Andersen Bakery is a laid-back bakery in Copenhagen that specializes in artisanal pastries, cakes, and breads. It's known for its impressive technique and pastry skills, as well as eye-catching presentations of luxury fastelavnsboller. The bakery offers a variety of treats including perfectly formed candy-colored cakes and sweet pastries.
Quite possibly one of the best bakeries in Copenhagen. So good that we went twice in one day! Good service at the counter. In the morning they had a wide selection of fresh pastries available. In the afternoon there were savory baked goods, foccacia sandwiches and dessert treats for sale. There's limited seating available inside but if the weather is good there's enough seating outside.
Prinesh R — Google review
Cozy bakery/cafe offering a wide selection of breads, pastries and cakes. The only vegan option is a mango chocolate cake. It was delicious, fresh and not too sweet. The dark chocolate went very well with the mango/passion jam. The coffee was okay for a bakery. If you are looking for great coffee you’d be better off going to a proper cafe. They offered oat milk yet not decaf. Water available. Toilet available.
Yu-Shan C — Google review
**A Top-Tier Bakery with a Charming Waterfront Location** Copenhagen has a vibrant and competitive bakery scene, with many excellent options (and some that are not). The Andersen Bakery chain has long been one of our favorites, consistently delivering high-quality products. The range here is a significant strength, showcasing the best of Danish baking. They master everything from the light and fluffy 'teboller' (tea balls) to the dense, dark rye breads characteristic of Scandinavia. The bakery also offers several unique creations, such as a mini loaf of dense rye bread studded with chocolate chips—a combination that works surprisingly well. This particular location in West Amager is especially charming, with its proximity to the waterfront providing a lovely setting. As a minor point of feedback, we did find one item, the mistle cookie, to be overly sweet for our personal taste, but this is a small note in an otherwise excellent selection. With its Japanese roots and unwavering commitment to quality, the Andersen chain continues to stand out as one of the best bakeries in the Danish capital. We have written hundreds of reviews across five continents and have reached the highest level of reviewers on Google, ranked better than more than 90% of all reviewers. As ordinary consumers, we are not compensated for this review. We strive to provide fair and reliable assessments based on our experiences, hoping that the business will take them into consideration.

I came here as it was a highly rated bakery in the vicinity of the highest rated TripAdvisor (a rival reviewing site) bakery in Copenhagen (Hart Bakery). I decided to compare the bakeries by getting a signature cardamom pastry, and seeing if they'd fill up my water for free. The cardamom pastry from this bakery was one of the greatest pastries I've ever had. I have had 4 cardamom based pastries recently, and my sweet lord this was divine. A perfect level of strong cardamom uniformly throughout the pastry. The sweetness was perfect to match complex aromas of the cardamom, it was beautiful. They did also have a tap for me to fill up my water bottle, easily accessible by the door. The water was quite tepid, but my friend got water after me, and it was much colder. On the whole, a wonderful bakery, with so many delicious baked goods, truly a sight to behold.
Christopher H — Google review
I visited Andersen Bakery craving something sweet. Unfortunately, I came after 4 pm, and almost everything was sold out. Luckily, there was one last rhubarb pastry left—waiting just for me—and I had to have it. It was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee. I’ll definitely try to come earlier next time to taste more of their pastries. Highly recommended!
Anit B — Google review
Wow wow wow. Absolutely loved the food and the coffee. Wish I had a hallow leg to eat more food because every bite was better than the last. Very busy place, and it was a little loud but can still have a conversation. Tables fill up quick so be aware.
Julia S — Google review
We came here a few times, because of the delicious bakery selection and seating. I can say no pastry is a bad pastry here. Matcha iced latte was not great, it was far too milky. Prices are a bit on the high side but worth it.
Yasir — Google review
Wow, this bakery is easily a contender for the best bakery I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot of bakeries. We had the rhubarb croissant and this cinnamon bun. They were insanely delicious! Their pastries are very decadent yet not too sweet, with a nice balance of flavors. If you want a decadent sweet treat, this is definitely the best spot to get it from in Copenhagen. All the other pastries that we didn’t try, looked just as delicious.

Cake shop
Conditori La Glace is a renowned Danish pastry shop that has been a beloved institution in Copenhagen since 1870. The elegant and old-school patisserie is famous for its elaborate cakes, baked goods, and desserts, attracting sweet-toothed visitors who are willing to wait in long queues just to experience its delights.
The food in this restaurant is very delicious. Each person starts with a delicious soup, and the special shared meal for two is very delicious. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the restrooms are very neat and clean. The instant handmade pizza is very delicious. Whether it is lamb, lamb rack, chicken wings or pizza, they are all worth a try. In addition, the waiter's attitude is very good, which deserves 100 points. It is very good.

This is a dessert lovers paradise. Pastries, cakes and more. They have so many to choose from. No wonder it gets very busy. The staff were so amazing and helpful in every way. The coffee was good and the cake was delicious. You will come back for more. Highly recommended 👍🏼
Ala A — Google review
Probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had, and it came with a free refill! I was on a mission to find the best cardamom bun in Copenhagen, and the one I had at La Glace was my favourite. Lovely atmosphere, elegant yet friendly. Would be very happy to go back on my next visit!
Jo S — Google review
Hmm cakes are disappointing. They are too sweet for my liking. The only nice touch was the signature cake’s puff (on the side, looking like golden ball) that was coated with layer of caramelised sugar - it provided a crispy texture before you bite into the soft puff. I had the best decadent hot chocolate drink in Melbourne, coco black. So this is just average liquidy drink. The other chocolate toffee pastry was just way too sweet to finish. As what some others have shared, one would expect more for the high price. This didn’t hit the spot for a dessert lover like me. Down the road - Bertels Salon’s cheesecake had better cake texture and well balanced sweetness.
Kelly F — Google review
We visited based on all the recommendations and ordered the Sportskage and Georginelagkage. The Sportskage was too sweet and creamy for my taste, but I preferred the Georginelagkage, which was better. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the variety of options. However, I found the cakes themselves to be somewhat ordinary and not particularly unique, especially given their high price. Interestingly, the prices are not listed anywhere, which seems to be a deliberate choice.
Ati S — Google review
Best sportskage and hot chocolate I tried in Copenhagen. Magrethekage also delicious. Was too full to try the cookies which is also very famous. Should definitely do it next time.
Tai T — Google review
Very amazing little cake shop. I wanted to try everything but only got a few items the coffee was also really delicious. I would recommend trying this place with a group so you can get a bunch of different things!

Have never had a hot chocolate as smooth, tasty and chocolaty as this and the amazing pastry was an added bonus. We would return to Copenhagen just for another visit. Brilliant.

Coffee shop
Andersen & Maillard is not just a regular cafe; it's a celebration of the culinary expertise of co-owner and coffee connoisseur Hans Kristian Andersen, and former Noma chef, Milton Abel. The cafe has multiple branches in Copenhagen, but its Nordhavn location stands out with its stunning design by local architect Danielle Siggerud. One of their most popular items is the chocolate croissant, but visitors also rave about their cube-shaped flaky croissant that's perfect for photos.
This is our number ONE in Cph. During our stay we had been there twice. Their breakfast is top quality, especially the egg! Whatever we ate was so delicious: breakfast, cheesecake, other pastries... People working there are kind, helpful and effective. We were lucky that each time we found seating but mind that this is a popular place. Recommending strongly!!! 👌👌👌
Sofia B — Google review
This place comes with a big reputation and it did not disappoint. As an ex baker who has eaten more than his fair share of pastries I feel highly qualified to pass on my recommendation. We visited on a Sunday morning so naturally the place was very busy. The line was out of the shop and down the road but we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we got to the counter. I had already chosen what o was going to have before we arrived. We went for tow of the most popular items made here, the chocolate croissant and the cube croissant filled with pistachio cream. I reluctantly agreed to share my croissant with Gill, a decision I regretted after just one bite. Both pastries were delicious, I’d go back there anytime that I find myself in Copenhagen again and would highly recommended trying them if you are in town. I ordered a coffee almost as an after thought but was blown away with how good it was. By far the best coffee that I had in Copenhagen and worth going there just for that to be honest. The staff were super friendly and clearly enjoy working there. Overall a very good experience, keep up the good work guys.
Paul L — Google review
Went for a light lunch, and the queue was not that long as we have been wanting to try the Cube croissant which was not available in other branches and it did not disappoint. It was delicious. Coffee was also great. Too bad the beans they are selling are a bit expensive. We also liked the fact that they have a tap for still and sparkling water for free. Highly recommend this branch!
Marvin A — Google review
So so good like pretty expensive but honestly worth it and the service was excellent plus loved the vibe of the place. This chocolate caramel cube croissant was divine. I went late and most things were sold out but I asked the server for their recommendation and he suggested this seasonal pastry (got the last one) and honestly it was delectable.
Ana W — Google review
Visited around 10 a.m. on a weekday — the shop was pretty busy inside but there were open seats outside. There was a short line at the counter, but it was fine since I could take my time choosing pastries. Tried the plain croissant and the pistachio cube croissant, and both were super tasty! Not overly sweet or oily like many other places. Really nice spot!
K E — Google review
We lived nearby and went there almost every morning! Pastries are delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of their coffee as to me it is too much on the cacao side. But their other drinks were nice. Staff were always very kind and in a good mood. The special espresso soft serve in half croissant is a killer.
Samuel C — Google review
Very big and spacious Café with fresh breads and good coffee. I went for breakfast and got a latte and a breakfast plate which were both very good. I also sat and did work for another few hours and the environment was nice easy to focus in, but also lively.
Emma T — Google review
i tried the marble slice cake and it was very expensive but it’s copenhagen so im not even surprised anymore. the chocolate coating was really hard, crunchy, and cold, and the marble cake inside was very dense too. the coating also had crunchy nuts in it (peanuts?), which was a nice touch. alongside the chocolate cream on top, it was a pretty sweet dessert.

Hart, a renowned bakery in Copenhagen, is known for its exceptional sourdough bread and delectable pastries. Founded by British baker Richard Hart, who previously worked at Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, the bakery has four outlets across the city. Whether you visit the original location on Gammel Kongevej or one of the other three outlets, you're sure to encounter outstanding pastries and unique twists on British classics like sausage rolls.
Beautiful bakery with the decent variety in sweets and in breads. Had tried their speciality, bread, butter and cheese (we did not know that you can tell which bread you want as we were visiting for the first time) however whatever bread we got - it was delicious. Simple combination, nicely made. Second we had asked to give the bread and butter combination only. That came with another variety of bread. And it was tasty too. Along with that ordered a tart with smoked leeks. That was also good. In sweets, we tried strawberry tart and cinnamon twists. Strawberry tart was light and with nice proportions. And cinnamon twist was airy and light. As the day was nice and sunny (as usual windy) - could not find a place to sit outside but managed to find one sitting place inside. Please do visit if nearby.
Nilesh B — Google review
Greeted upon arrival and quickly served. We ordered a croissant, chocolate chip cookies, a latte and a cold brew on ice. Service was friendly and helpful; suggested cold brew over the iced Americano I initially ordered. The cold brew was amazingly smooth. So, I'm glad I went with the suggestion. The croissant was not overly flaky, yet the crumb was beautiful and soft. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was chewy with a good amount of chocolate and the perfect sprinkle of salt.
Clyde G — Google review
This is THE first place I went after I touched down and HAD to get the cardomom croissant. Giving it a 50/10 if I can, it’s THAT good that I had to pack 5 of it to bring home to share with my family and friends. Came back a few times afterwards and honestly the service there is top notch, coffee is amazing and just the ambience is great too! Can’t wait to be back!
Adriana — Google review
The best Croissant (cardamom Croissant) I've had and i did have quite a lot of Croissants having traveled some 28 countries. I wanted to mention "one of the best" but im trying to remember how many were nicer than this one. The filter coffee was good. We also took a vanilla custurd pastry, Croissant & Tebirkes for the journey ahead and all of those were amazing. The place was cozy, the staff was humble and took time to give me recommendations I asked for
Rinku A — Google review
Hart Bageri is definitely worth a visit ! Loved the vibe of the place . the cardamom croissant was great, but the tomato feta & olive pastry was the real star. I’d happily come back again just for that 💙
Salama A — Google review
It was totally worth the visit to this place. The cardamom croissant was really good. The location per se was alright because it used to be a meat packing district. But the food was something else. I've never had a tastier croissant. It was different and good.
Vivekananda B — Google review
Great coffee and very nice staff. It’s a self service place. They have different options for pastry but more into breads. It was very crowded and a huge line for ordering. Plenty of outdoor seats but just a few for indoor.

Bakery
Lille Bakery, located on Refshaleen in Copenhagen, is a cozy bakery that offers a variety of savory and sweet dishes for breakfast, lunch, and occasional pop-up dinners. The airy loft space is filled with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an inviting atmosphere to enjoy the delicious menu. The bakery's sourdough and rye bread are particularly noteworthy.
Really cozy cafe with a big open space, lots of natural lighting. There’s a decent amount of seating on the top floor that overlooks the kitchen which was super fun to watch. Really good pastries and lots of people were eating their daily lunch that looked really good too. Highly recommend!
Queeny Q — Google review
I won’t come back here again once I travel Copenhagen. I can understand the hype because of the aesthetic vibe but it is a bakery cafe. That means the bread should be good. However, for me the taste was not amazing. Especially the sausage roll was awful. I wasn’t able to have a bite because of the unappetizing flavor. I would rather go to another bakery for better brunch and save time traveling. Most of the reason people come over this place is probably because of pictures. I also came here because of pictures on instagram, Pinterest even though it is very far away from the city center. However, while I was having a brunch here, I heard a staff yell at a customer who was taking a picture in front of other customers. At that moment many people came with professional cameras but they didn’t say anything but only to that asian woman. One of the staff yelled “do not take a picture, respect the privacy”. When I checked her camera, it was a very old digital camera. I mean, I can understand that staffs are sensitive about privacy. Then why don’t you wear a mask or ask all people not to take a picture?
Su — Google review
What a vibe. The place is gorgeous, everything fits perfectly, sooo aesthetic🫶 baked goods are delicious, especially blomster bun (definitely a must try), classic bun with cheese and butter, and berliner were also amazing! It’s really cool that their menu changes often. In my opinion focaccia could have more toppings on top, wouldn’t really eat it again. Filter coffee was exceptionally good, the best I’ve ever tried.

Lille Bakery is probably my favorite spot in Copenhagen. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, which makes it feel like a little escape from the busier parts of the city. I went there after a morning run and it was the perfect way to start the day. The pastries are excellent, the rolls are simple but really well done, the berliner is soft and indulgent, and the spandauer has that perfect balance of flaky pastry and sweet filling. I also tried the mushroom roll, which was surprisingly good and a bit different from the usual options. The coffee is from Prolog, so you know it’s going to be solid. Some of my friends lean more toward Andersen & Maillard, and honestly you can’t go wrong with either, but I’m a little biased toward Lille. It just has this calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the morning.

We came here for brunch and good vibes. The atmosphere is great like we have seen in others' photos. However, the brunch and bakery is very simple. Coffee is too light for us. The only thing we like is Egg on rye while sausage roll and brunch plate (bread, butter and jam) are so so.

I was alone and as much as I wanted to try everything I stuck to the famous “not cinnamon” bun. Where they used local herbs instead of cinnamon it was flaky buttery and soft and they had the olive oil pumpkin cake. Both were amazing I wish I was with more people to order more and try all. DONT GO ALONE to try all the yummy goods

We went with three friends, and we never thought we'd eat such a delicious cake. It was the best thing I've had in Copenhagen. The cake melted in your mouth, and the cream was delicious. It's definitely worth trying 🤝🏻

🥐 Little Bakery on Refshalevej 213B is something special. It’s more than just a bakery - it’s almost a bakery concept. The mix of simplicity and style gives the place a truly unique, communal atmosphere that feels effortlessly warm and inviting. 🍞 The food is absolutely brilliant - every pastry and loaf tastes fresh, crafted with care, and full of flavour. ☕ The staff are fantastic - friendly, genuine, and clearly love what they do. 🌿 A perfect Copenhagen spot to slow down, share a table, and enjoy great bread in great company.

Hart is a renowned bakery with two locations in Copenhagen, including its recent opening at Strandgade 108. Richard Hart, a former Noma employee, has brought his expertise to create exceptional baked goods that challenge traditional Danish pastries and cakes. The bakery offers sourdough bread, rye bread, and pastries to the local community.
I think I fell in love with a cinnamon bun today. I visited Hart because it was in the Copenhagen episode of The Bear and it didn’t disappoint. Great coffee, with some absolutely delectable pastry’s. If it’s a nice day, sit outside and take in your surroundings, it’s a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.

Perfection! We ate many different sweet treats and one savory tart here and all were amazing. Super fresh, tasty and delicious. Really friendly service that was very efficient. We dined inside (which was lovely and cosy) but there was plenty of seating outside also. Great location with lovely views to just relax and enjoy.

An excellent bakery Everything is homemade and delicious, my favorite will be their sandwiches, the bread they use is really one of the best breads I’ve ever tasted in terms of texture and flavor. Their signature pastry is also very very good Lots of tables outside to let you enjoy the surrounding views
Soulight — Google review
Personally Food: the pastries and cake are generally good with right sweetness and some unique take to the traditional danish pastries. The prices are on a higher end of bakeries but not super expensive. Plenty of drinks selection to choose from. They have some water/garden and indoor seating. Service is good. 2 things to improve: 1. the speed of service, time is precious, its not fun to use substantial time lining up on a weekend morning, especially when one is also paying for parking 😔 2. Presentationg of the pastries need improvement, they look almost burned/ overcooked and unappetizing even in the morning…

An absolute gem of a place! Was recommended by friends living in the city. We came on our last morning in Copenhagen and had the amazing famous cardamom bun / croissant and picked many other things including the lemon poppy seed cake. Wow. What great pasties, bread and baked goods. Everything was perfect and went so well with a cappuccino! The staff were incredible too! Definitely coming back!
Elham A — Google review
Many branches throughout the city but this was the one visited by the TV series The Bear. Pastries are very nicely done and the cardamom croissant is one of the nicest one I’ve tried in Copenhagen. When the weather is good, the alfresco seating area by the waters is really nice. There are even some deck chairs just by the side of the water’s edge. Worth the visit if you’re in the area.
Teck B — Google review
Hart Bakery was gem during our time in Copenhagen. The croissants were some of the best we’ve ever had perfectly flaky, buttery, and full of flavour. Every pastry and baked item looked and tasted incredible. The cozy, relaxed vibe made it the perfect stop for breakfast or a mid-morning treat. Easily one of the highlights of our trip and a must-visit for anyone who loves great pastries
K — Google review
Hart has become a Copenhagen institution, and it’s easy to see why. They’ve got several locations around the city, and no matter which one you go to, the quality is consistent. Their style leans more toward laminated and flaky pastries, and they really nail it. The croissants and other layered pastries are buttery, crisp, and just really well made. I also enjoyed their cinnamon roll, which had a nice balance of sweetness and texture. Beyond pastries, their breads are excellent too, with a depth of flavor that shows the care they put into fermentation. The coffee is solid as well, making it a good all-around stop whether you’re after breakfast or just a quick pastry and coffee. The shops themselves feel modern but approachable, and it’s clear the focus is on the craft.

Bageriet Benji, located in the trendy Norrebro district of Copenhagen, is a labor of love owned by Rasmus Kristensen, a former head of bread and cakes at Noma. Named after his son Benji, this bakery specializes in sourdough bread and pastries. Rasmus can often be found behind the counter, personally baking loaves and crafting delectable treats like vanilla-filled spandauer pastries and almond croissants.
Our first stop in Copenhagen, and wow, it didn’t disappoint! We tried the cardamom bun and the coco, both were truly divine. The space is small, with just two seats by the window, so it’s more of a takeaway spot. Despite the abundance of bakeries around, we definitely highly recommend Benji. It’s a must-visit for anyone who wants quality and delicious bakes in the city!

Had the coco pastry which was incredible and so unique. The plain croissant was also very good! Great bakery, just wish they served other drinks besides filter coffee and had more seating. This is more of a takeaway place
B B — Google review
Newly opened and very cute interior. Only filter coffee and nothing too special about the quality pastries 🥐 good bread, pastries etc. I was happy for the owners seeing a long line of people. Similar bakeries like this are in the rest of Copenhagen, but only one in that area. I hope they evolve, have a bathroom soon and a better bike ramp. Would be so nice to have them long term there

3,5* We had high expectations of this bakery after reading the reviews but the experience was underwhelming. The place is really small as well as the variety of pastry. We wanted to buy bread but decided to not to as it didn’t look appealing. We tried cinnamon a kardamome buns - very strong flavour in both. Good but not spectacular. No bathroom. Only filtered coffee. Disappointing experience due to high reviews and expectations.

Amazing pastries! However there’s very little space to sit indoors, also the amount of pastries displayed is very limited!

Well, it was a bit late, around 2:30, so some products were sold out. But we were lucky to have some things to eat there. Well, the bakery is very small and there are only 2 seats; no plates or fork or knife for eating. But the taste was good and I liked that; it was a bit too expensive but it was ok! Sure you can find cheaper in city.

Skt. Peders Bageri is a charming bakery housed in a historic building, known for its delectable cinnamon rolls, breads, and sweet treats. The establishment is famous for its irresistibly gooey and traditional cinnamon buns that are a must-try for any visitor to Copenhagen.
I absolutely loved it 10/10 I have eaten it every morning during my stay in Copenhagen My favorites are the raspberry and blueberry, 100000/100000. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Crispy and flaky on the edges and soft, sweet, sour, fresh, fruity on the inside Would definitely recommend it with coffee (matcha with the raspberry one!!) The inside of the cafe was cozy and small but couldn’t find a spot to sit

This bakery is absolutely incredible - we tried 4 items and each one was its own distinct delight. ~ 10 seats inside and there will be a line, wait in it - you would be a fool to do otherwise. Great coffee, lovely staff who were happy to describe the items in English, despite the busyness. We came for the cardamom bun, which was everything we hoped for, but the raspberry & poppyseed pastries were even better! Got back in line for a pumpkin seeded roll - snacked on it all day - heaven!

Finally got to try this bakery, the oldest in Copenhagen! We went by on an afternoon, so unfortunately a lot of products were already sold out, but still got the chance to try their cinnamon roll (still warm!) and a couple of pastries (the one in the picture is with pistacchio). Really nice texture, especially the cinnamon roll, not too dry, chewy and moist, really nice! They have just a couple of seats and tables, might get crowded very soon, also no “proper” cups for coffees, just to go paper cups, be aware. Also congratulations on the Børsen Gazelle ・ᴗ・

It’s funny — before coming to Copenhagen we heard about 2–3 popular bakeries, but we had never seen this one mentioned anywhere. We actually found it by chance while passing by, decided to step in, and ended up coming back every single day after that :) We tried almost all of the pastries you see in my photos, and every single one was delicious. As a pistachio lover, I was blown away by the pistachio pastry — the best I’ve had since Italy. Honestly, the big-name bakeries with multiple branches in Copenhagen don’t compare to this place. A true hidden gem!
Oğuzhan G — Google review
Overall: best pastries I've had in Copenhagen. The pastries were so tasty, I had to go a second time! Unfortunately my almond croissant on the second time was burnt but all the other pastries were good. The space is tight so it's not much of a sit down place and I personally was not a fan of the latte (not much flavour in the coffee).
Brandon L — Google review
I tried the cinnamon roll and the Danish pastry, and they were so delicious that I went back again on Wednesday morning. There was almost no wait during my first visit, but the second time I waited about 20–30 minutes. Everything was great — especially the Danish pastry, which I highly recommend!
K E — Google review
One of the best bakeries I've eaten from. The pastries are divine. Tried their crispy cinnamon rolls, sausage roll, salami pizza, cardamom bun, one of the croissants with almonds on top chai latte and espresso.
Leah P — Google review
The pistachio and chocolate croissant is hands down my favorite pastry from here. There's usually a little bit of a line, but that depends on what time you go. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There isn’t much seating inside, so it’s mostly takeaway, but I recommend enjoying your treats in Ørstedparken. Also, heads-up: the almond croissant I had was a little dry and burnt, so I’d probably skip that one.

The bakery offers an array of delectable pastries and treats that are highly praised by visitors. One of their specialties is the chewy and spicy brownie cookie developed by head pastry chef Nina Aastrup, which pairs perfectly with afternoon coffee or Christmas mulled wine.
That’s a lovely small bakery for a takeaway. Super sweet girls working there!❤️ I had apple fastelavnsbolle 48 kr and it was delicious, people who love apple pie would LOVE this one! However I went for the one with dried plum “sveske” and they sell it only on Friday :( And other fastelavnsbolle I saw on their insta they sell only in Frederiksberg one. So unfortunately choice is limited but tastes great!

One of the most reliably delicious bakeries in Copenhagen! Their kanelsnurre is my all time favourite, ESPECIALLY when it is fresh from the oven- the sugar caramelises in way that is addictive and perfectly balanced with the dough. I would also recommend their foccacia and madbrød which I’ve had in the past. The staff are always really nice and helpful too. My favourite way to enjoy is by taking a nice long walk through Assistens after you purchase :)

Cute little bakery, which feels a bit like a basement since it's a couple of steps under street level. The cinnamon roll that I took looked great and was still fresh even though it was already late in the afternoon. It was tasty but not as outstanding as other pastries that I've had in the city. I had the impression the cinnamon was not very well distributed, which made some parts of the bun a bit sweeter than others. It's a pity they only offer filtered coffee and no steamed-milk variants. There is no space for indoor seating, but you can enjoy your coffee standing at the counter.

The eatery is located within Frama, a stylish apothecary-concept store in the Nyboder District. Italian chef Chiara Barla curates a rotating menu that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients.
After having eaten those excellent pastries here I will not be able to eat the Swedish buns anymore. The Danish buns, especially the cardamum buns at Apotek 57, are at another level. So soft, melting in the mouth, so delicious! We loved the waffle with pouched egg, the waffle was crunchy outside and soft inside. I recommend also the iced matcha latte and the scones with blue cheese and onion. We will definitely go back there!

This spot is a must for danish brunch and lunch. The menu is simple, vegetarian and very delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit hectic. The queue can last for around 15 minutes outside of the café. But it is definitely worth the wait. Some long tables are meant to be shared among customers, so if you don't like the idea of sitting right next to a stranger then this place might not be for you. I would recommend to get a warm apple juice with cinnamon, it is very comforting. Right inside the café there is a design shop that sells items used in the decoration of the café!

We visited this lovely little bakery yesterday — everything was so cozy and beautifully presented. The pastries were absolutely delicious, freshly made and full of flavor. They only serve filter coffee, which was nice, but we would have loved to see a bit more variety on the coffee menu. Other than that, everything was perfect! ☕🥐

There is nothing to dislike about this place (except maybe the prices)! I love that it pairs with the Frama design store where they even sell the cups and plates the restaurant uses. I absolutely love the vibes in here. I would have stayed all day if possible! I ordered the savory waffle and the danish. The filtered coffee was really good too! If you only go to one cafe while you’re in town, make it this place.

Such a beautiful breakfast spot! Kind staff, high-quality food and even vegan butter when I asked. Perfectly furnished and cozy, great for weekends—though we had to wait around 30 min on Saturday. Totally worth it!⭐️

Waited 45 minutes which was not worth what we got in the end. Even though we finally got a table we were then told to go to the counter and place our order which altogether was another long wait. The bread was great but cheese was dried out and pastries not as good as other places otherwise meals were very simple. I gave it the 3 stars for the ambiance and staff who were very sweet despite all the people queuing up.

The cafe has received recognition for its pastries and is considered an expert in cheesecakes. In addition to their renowned cheesecake, Bertels Salon also offers delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows at one of their locations.
Delicious and fresh homemade cheesecakes. They r really light and have many selection. Coffees also good. The staff were too kind and helpful, location is good they also have large second floor. The prices high but worth it.
Seyda G — Google review
This place offers a great selection of cakes, all rich and flavorful, with a variety of options to choose from. The coffee and tea selection is also good, making it a nice spot for a break. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere downstairs is cozy. However, the upstairs seating near the toilet can be unpleasant due to the smell, which takes away from the experience. Prices are on the high side, even for Copenhagen, which might not make it the best value, but if you’re looking for indulgent cakes, it’s still worth a visit.
David — Google review
We wanted to visit Bertels Salon, as the place has the reputation of the best cheesecake in Copenhagen. Unfortunately that put the bar really high, and for us it generated high expectations - which they didn’t really meet (sorry to say). I mean, the cakes are ok, but nothing exceptional for our taste. We tried the Chocolate cherry, the Bounty and the Blueberry Vanilla - the third was the best. Chocolate cherry is huge. Bounty looks half of the Chocolate cheery in size, but just right. The place is in an old townhouse, has its old charm. Worths a visit - although a bit pricey.

I would give the cheesecake here 4.5 star out of 5. It is American style cheesecake but it is light and fragrant. It has a near melt in mouth texture. Enjoyed it with hot tea on cold day. But the best melt in mouth cheesecake that I had was from The Alley in Penang, Malaysia.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I went here with friends on my first night in Copenhagen, and liked every course we had. The tasting menu with the various courses is the way to go. The pasta was good, not great, but definitely not bad either. It was the pork course that really stood out for me, that was some of the best pork I've ever had in my life. Eva G — Google review
I was curious about this place since I had visited Relae a few years back and it was one of the best experience I ever had and I still remembered the sourdough bread which was one of the best sourdough bread I had eaten in my life. So I was very excited to see what they had on offer. The place seems more like a small bistro. There is an intimate atmosphere and you can see what is going on in the bakery which is very cool. We ordered the Scambled Egg (with the Nduja butter) and Sourdough Bread, the Beef Tartare and a Granita with the Brioche Col Tuppo. The scrambled egg was great, creamy, tasty, just perfect. I had high expectations for the bread and although it was good, it wasn’t as good as I remembered from Relae. The Tartare was amazing and one of the best tartare I ever had. It has great taste but also very nice texture with crunchiness in it which is quite unusual, but makes the experience so much better. I would definitely recommend that Tartare. To finish, I had heard great things about the Brioche and was excited to try it, unfortunately, it was very average. I think briche is one thing italian’s have never mastered. I tastes ok, but it’s just that… an almost bland brioche.

Buka is a charming bakery located just a short walk from Nhavn. The cozy eatery offers an all-day menu, classic baked goods, and a selection of espresso, wine, and beer. Guests can enjoy watching the delicious pastries being made through the storefront window while savoring their treats at one of the outdoor tables. Visitors praise the warm welcome from the staff and highlight the heavenly pastries on display.
A must-visit! If you’re visiting Copenhagen, Buka is a spot you simply cannot miss. I came here for breakfast and had the vanilla raspberry croissant, and it was absolutely out of this world. The pastry was crisp and flaky, the vanilla cream was rich and silky, and the raspberry added the perfect burst of flavor. Easily one of the best croissants I’ve had anywhere, not just in Copenhagen. The café has a modern yet cozy vibe, perfect for starting your morning or taking a quick break during the day. Seating inside is limited and it does get busy, but that only speaks to its popularity. Even if you have to take it to go, it’s worth it. 👉 Traveler tip: come early in the morning to avoid the rush and to get the freshest pastries.
Ankitha C — Google review
Super overhyped. The positive reviews of this place don’t reflect the reality that there are just much better bakeries in Copenhagen and other capital cities, even in Asia, that this place cannot hold a candle to. Pastries are a far cry from what I’ve tasted even in the far east. What a disappointment. They lack the finesse and care that go into the best bakeries. Croissants are surprisingly soggy and the crusts lack the crisp structure you are promised when you close your eyes and imagine what to expect when you see the unjustified lines outside. Even upon sight of the almond croissant, you can tell something is just mid about everything. It’s not a disaster, but it’s just fine, normal and nothing to shout about. The cardamom brioche smells of a wonderful warming embrace, and the scent fills you with the anticipation of the perfume to fill your mouth, but the texture and slight sogginess of the pastry itself just lets that wonderful aroma down. Maybe the pastries just need to be toasted freshly before you tuck in. The coffee is weak and lacks any body. But they use good quality milk that salvages some of the experience. There are plentiful other cafes and coffee shops to get a better caffeine fix. The saving grace was the charming and pleasant team of young adults who run this place who are polite, have easy smiles and are never flustered despite the long queues that from outside at times.

This is another must-visit spot when you’re in Copenhagen. The bakery offers a variety of delicious pastries, especially their croissants. Unfortunately, when I visited, the pistachio croissants weren’t ready yet. It’s a small shop with limited seating, but if you come early enough in the morning, you might still find a place to sit. Most people tend to grab their pastries to go.

The bakery offers a variety of pastries at typical Danish prices, with options like raspberry crumble and interesting mini pizzas. Customers can enjoy a range of coffee options alongside their pastries.
A bit high price but love it! The quality and the taste is top the chart. I'd go back again. They're also offer free wifi, outlet and toilet for the customer.

Danish gem. Very nice coffee shop. It is exactly what you are looking for in a coffee shop as a “tourist” the coffee was also great. I had a caramel iced latte and one of the cinnamon bun/breads. 10/10 recommend this place for food, service, and aesthetics.

Good overall. somewhat busy with tourists. Can’t say it was the best pastry of my life but it was good and lots to choose from. Would go back for a quick take away breakfast. Lots of seating though

This café has multiple branches across Copenhagen and is definitely a must-try! If you miss it during your trip, don’t worry—they also have two branches at the airport, making it a perfect last-minute stop before your flight. The best items I tried were the Direktørsnegl (a delicious chocolate roll) and the Kanelstang. I also had a salmon sandwich, which was fresh and flavorful. You order at the counter and receive your items immediately—super convenient if you’re on the go. The coffee line moves quickly, and they also offer free Wi-Fi, which is a nice bonus.

Delicious breakfast. More choice towards later in the morning/midday. Great quality food and not expensive

We dropped by Lagkagehuset for quick breakfast while visiting Copenhagen last few days. Attractive, freshly baked and plenty of choices of pastries, pizza displayed. Enjoy rabatbersnurre, kanelgiffel, spandauer creme, latte. Quick and friendly service. It's easy to find them at many locations even in the airport.
Aki N — Google review
Located very centrally for tourists (me) and they have an screen ordering system for pickup. But the pastries were delicious and we always had great service. We went back several times to try all the different kinds because they had such a wide selection.
Monica D — Google review
Polite staff, really good food. The pizza dough is not flat like regular pizza so it’s very tasty, fluffy and soft. They heat it up when you order and it is very good. We spent around 210 dkk for the two of us, including the hot chocolate (great), black tea (great). We ordered coffee the other day which I don’t recommend. The place is great, and you can sit and eat inside.

Ice cream shop
Alice Ice Cream & Coffee is a charming bakery and ice cream parlor located on the outskirts of Copenhagen's Christianshavn district. Known for its homemade ice cream, waffles, and warm pastries, it's a popular spot year-round. Despite its unassuming exterior, the bakery offers delicious cardamom buns, jambon beurres, croissants, and original small-batch ice cream in flavors like pistachio and sea buckthorn.
Is such a lovely spot! The staff is super friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The pastries and coffee are absolutely delicious, but let me tell you – the ice cream is next-level. Creamy, flavorful, and honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to, not just for the amazing treats but for how welcoming and cozy it feels. Can’t recommend it enough!
Valentina U — Google review
A truly stellar cardamom bun, for anyone that believes there isn't such a thing as too much cardamom. Fragrant, soft dough, very minor criticism that there was a slightly noticeable yeast after-taste, but overall one of the best cardamom buns. The croissant had good flakiness but was slightly denser than I prefer in the middle. The yoghurt with granola was another standout - lovely, thick yoghurt, super-crunchy and nutty granola (which the menu says comes from the Københavns Bageri), and a fresh berry compote. Very simple but each individual element executed with care. A cozy, calm atmosphere in which I would be happy to spend an hour working or reading.

Alice Coffee is a true gem in Amagerbro. The coffee here is top-notch — expertly brewed with good flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and minimalist in that effortless Scandinavian way — great for catching up with a friend or just enjoying a quiet moment with your coffee. Bonus points for the homemade pastries and ice cream, which are absolutely delicious and made with real care (the cardamom bun is a must-try!). Friendly staff, high-quality coffee, and a relaxed vibe — what more could you want? Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots in Copenhagen!

Lots of danes so you know it's great and not just a tourist trap! Beautiful pastries (we had a cardamom bun, cinnamon bun, pain au chocolat and the traditional danish pastry, all divine! soo crispy). These with a cup of tea and cappuccino came to around £30 gpb, bit pricey but completely worth it. Window seating was perfect for people watching.
Amber S — Google review
I definitely don’t recommend this place for ice cream. I’ve tried many ice cream spots in Copenhagen, so I’m used to the high prices, but I was disappointed to see that you have to pay an additional 8 DKK just to get a cone. I got one scoop of hazelnut ice cream, and the portion was incredibly small. The ice cream itself was really hard and not creamy at all. I’m sure this place offers other great food and the atmosphere is lovely, but I wouldn’t come back for the ice cream.
Teresa B — Google review
Very popular place with the locals. I'm having a Cortado which is a very nice replacement for my usual espresso macchiato. They have some nice soft boiled eggs, freshly prepared. The bread looks great but I can't have that.
KD — Google review
I recently visited Alice Ice Cream & Coffee and unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite meet expectations. While the staff was efficient, they didn’t seem particularly engaged, which made the atmosphere feel a bit distant and less welcoming than I had hoped. The food was a bit hit-or-miss. Two out of the three breads were slightly underbaked, making them a bit tougher than expected. The brunsviger had a surprising lemon flavor, which was an unusual twist for this traditional Danish pastry. It also seemed a bit undercooked, which was disappointing. The morning platter, though presented nicely, felt a bit light for the price. It was ready too quickly, but it didn’t feel like a substantial meal. The coffee and juice were good, but nothing stood out as exceptional. The café has the potential to be cozy, though I did notice a few flies which detracted from the experience. The toilets are quite compact, and overall, the space could use a little more attention to detail in terms of maintenance. While Alice Ice Cream & Coffee has some positives, I left feeling that a few improvements could make it a more enjoyable spot.
George H — Google review
Alice is an absolute gem! The food is exceptional—the croissants are easily the best I’ve ever had. The ice cream is also amazing. Plus they really know what they are doing when it comes to good coffee. The service is impeccable: friendly, attentive, and efficient. On top of that, the atmosphere is wonderful and vibrant, whether to relax, read a book, or get some work done. It’s just one of those places you always look forward to coming back to :)

Hart Bageri is not your typical Danish bakery. With a British celebrity chef at the helm, this modern bakery in Frederiksberg and Galionsvej offers more than just freshly-baked pastries and sourdough bread. It also transforms into an evening wine bar, making it a unique destination for food and drinks. Visitors can indulge in top-notch charcuterie and cheese platters while enjoying great coffee and cake with a wonderful view.
Perfect location for a sweet treat! The bakery is very well located in the center of Copenhagen. The bakery offers a variety of bread, drinks (hot and cold) and of course wonderful pastries and cakes! You can stay inside or outside but seating is not available in great quantity. I highly recommend!

Good bakery shop at the heart of the city in Copenhagen. It is in front of the Frederik's Church- one of the main attractions in city, so it is hard to miss. It is quite small but we liked their pastry, they had good amount of options. I recommend the cinnamon pastry, it was delicious 👍🏼 The coffee was okay, not that special.

A good bakery chain in the city that offers freshly baked buns and pastries. I’ve been there several times, and everything was delicious - it just melts in your mouth. The coffee is good, including the filter options. It’s usually quite small and crowded, so the best option is to grab your order to go.

The pastries here are incredible. I loved the cardamom croissant so much, I wish I had gone back for a second one before leaving Copenhagen. Prices were high, but for a treat it’s worth it! This location is very convenient near major tourist attractions, but there’s no seating, just two small benches outside.

Loved their pastries AND coffee!!! we went in around 5pm so their signature pastry was sold out but other bread/pastries were so yummy! More importantly, their drip coffee was so good (better than other places) that I ended up purchasing the Prolog beans! ☕️

Collective Bakery is a new addition to Norrebro, opened in 2021 by the Coffee Collective team. The head baker, Michael Craig, uses locally sourced Danish ingredients to create pastries and sourdough bread. Their baked goods are designed to complement a cup of coffee, such as the citronbolge (lemon wave) and kardemommeflet (cardamom braid).
Rented an AirBNB near the Collective Bakery and popped out for a pastry and coffee this morning. I’m so glad we found this gem! Simple atmosphere and Fantastically Delicious breakfast: cheese bread (read that from another review, get the sesame seed sourdough version!), cardamom twist bun, rhubarb and cream pastry. I will return to America and I know I will replay this breakfast over and over! Thank you for great staff, great food and great coffee!

A great cafe offering both outstanding pastry and coffee. I tried the cheese pastry and the pitaschio pastry, both tasted awesome. The coffee is also great and reasonably priced. However as a tourists, I hoped they have an English description of the pastry menu. Nevertheless, great cafe for a hearty coffee and breakfast.

Really nice BMO at this place. The cheese was great and the bread equally so. Also had their filter coffee which I really like. Butter was nothing special. You know a BMO is amazing when the bakery brings out the whipped butter. Also didn’t have a customer toilet which kinda sucked

The park is the second-oldest operating amusement park globally and one of the most popular seasonal theme parks, attracting nearly five million visitors annually.
Absolutely great place! All decoration changes every season and it’s a perfect place to have photoshoots here. I have a subscription and often bring my tourists here for photo shoots. An excellent park although off to a skeptical start when I saw the first ride we went on had a member of staff on to "pull the brake". Lots of rides to suit all with a fair number of "tummy turners". Queues were small and the facilities such as food and toilets were at a good standard. We used the Copenhagen card to get in but you need to pay extra for the rides. Was quite cold when we were there so dress appropriately. The teenage kids enjoyed it so that's a thumbs up !

Had such a fun day at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen! The autumn vibes were magical, and the park looks absolutely stunning as the lights come on in the evening. I highly recommend going late afternoon so you can enjoy it in daylight and then see it sparkle at night. The food was delicious, the rides and attractions were super fun, and the whole day just felt so cozy and special. A must-visit for anyone in Copenhagen! 🎡🍂✨

Went here for the halloween themed gardens, it was amazing. So much to do for all ages. Rides, show for the little children, pumpkin carving, amusements, stalls to buy gifts and plenty of food and drink stalls. You can go in and out if you get a stamp and there's plenty of shops nearby. Was a great day out.

We visited just before Halloween and had a great time. The decorations and while atmosphere just felt special. I initially thought that the entry and ride ticket was a little expensive but it certainly wasn’t, only major queues were for food outlets at meal time which is understandable. Download the app and you can also have free copies of the ride photos, something completely unheard of in our native UK. Highly recommend and a highlight of our family trip to Copenhagen

Beautiful theme park in the city center of Copenhagen, Denmark. My Danish friends told me that It was the inspiration of Disney’s World. Lovely theme park with various rides and attractions, bars, ice cream, candy shops and restaurants as well as souvenirs and artisanal shops. I came here in October so the park was lavishly decorated with Halloween theme 🎃🎃🎃. It was packed even on weekdays. I tried Demon, the 🎢 rollercoaster (the queue was 45 minutes for a 1 - minute fun ride! 😇) and we had fun! We also had wonderful dinner in Mikkeler Færgerkroen restaurant. Fun attractions include the old wooden rollercoaster, fatamorgana, carousel, boat ride, Ferris wheels 🎡, swinging carousel, bumper car and more. The tickets are available online as well as through Tivoli app. You can get the passes as well, starting for the standard pass for 12 months to silver, gold and wild card. Get more details on their app and website. Single ride tickets are also available, from 50 - 60 DKK. Watch out for the health and safety limitations for the rides. Toilets are available here and there. Some parts are flat and ♿️✅ disability friendly, but some parts have stairs.
Indah S — Google review
Great experience. Was really nice walking and enjoying all the Halloween themed corners. There are some nice food stalls and also some nice cafe and restaurants so that makes it a really nice full experience with the haunted houses and all the rest of the amenities. Great overall.

Great day out, rides were good. Went on a few couple times. Wait times were around 30mins which wasn't too bad for most rides. Food was priced reasonably inside the park and you also had the food hall next door so had a few to choose from. Will definitely visit again when visiting Copenhagen.

Hija de Sanchez Kødbyen is a lively Mexican eatery located in Copenhagen's Torvehallerne covered market. Helmed by Rosio Sanchez, a Mexican chef with Noma training, this popular spot offers an array of mouthwatering dishes, including corn tortilla tacos filled with spit-roast pork and pineapple, roast chicken in mole sauce, and aged Danish milk grilled cheese served with guacamole and morita chili salsa.
Trust me, try the veggie taco. I know, veggie?? BUT DONT KNOCK IT TILL YOU’VE TRIED IT cos i had it TWICE Side of the day was some amazing potatoes with spicy sauce n fried pork skin Warning, sauces are all on spicy side!

We had the combo, both vegetarian and with meat. 🌮 The vegetarian one had only 3 tacos of the same kind, we would have preferred some variety. The meat ones were good, but a little dry. Overall they were tasty and the little terrace outside was cute in the sun. 🌞
Andreea G — Google review
Cute little find in the meat packing district! We had the veggie tacos and the pork Gringa.. We would have liked more variety in the veggie tacos as it was the same filling across all Tacos in the plate.. The pork flavour was good but it was a little dry.. Overall it was a nice place for a quick bite and the Mexican food did hit the spot!
Nisha G — Google review
I had high expectations and I'm happy I did try this place before leaving Copenhagen, but I would rate it as nice, very good, but not excellent. Flavours are there but I must admit I expected a bit of more juiciness, despite everything is prepared and combined in front of you. Service is good, people working there are smiling and quick, the drinks are nice. The atmosphere is pleasant, I like the meatpacking district as you see a lot going on, but when you are at your table you don't feel the crowd.

We had a delicious dinner here a few nights ago. As a Californian I’m picky and have high standards for Mexican food and this was delicious. I had a veggie, beef and el pastor taco platter and they were all good but the el pastor is the best. The margarita was fresh and chips, guacamole and salsa were well seasoned. The churro was fresh and the ambience was very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!

AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Copenhagen was something I really wasn't expecting. This place is sensational and in such a nice area! Visit on a beautiful day so you can sit outside to enjoy your food or get it to go as space is pretty limited. Not a strike against them, by any means, though, as it's still well worth the trip!

Hart Bageri is a popular bakery in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, founded by Richard Hart, the former head pastry chef at San Francisco's Tartine, and Rene Redzepi, co-founder of Noma. After finding success with sourdough bread at Tartine, Hart moved to Copenhagen with the support of Redzepi. The bakery is known for sourcing its impeccable sourdough for Noma.
Good coffee and Croissants, especially the Cardamom one was delicious and different to what other bakeries offer. Now I will say, when you enter the bakery something about the presentation isn’t just quite right. We were close to walking out because the pastries didn’t look appealing but glad we stayed as they were delicious. It’s not as visually pleasing but worth trying. Wish I’d tried the sourdough which looked amazing!
Anna — Google review
Hart was one of the bakeries we wanted to visit while in Copenhagen. The bakery has good reviews and we were excited to taste and test it out. Seattle now has world class bakeries and we were hoping this one will be good or better. We tried a sausage roll, chocolate croissant, quiche, raspberry tart and cardamom croissant. Most notable was the raspberry croissant. The rest were greasy and lacking the quality of a French bakery. Unfortunately, the quality and creativity were lacking. The sausage tasted like a greasy cheap burger shop product. Realize they have a good following of customers, so maybe you should try them out while in Copenhagen or you are discovering Copenhagen.
Viren A — Google review
A great spot for something sweet and a good coffee. They offer a nice variety of pastries, and the cardamom bun stands out as especially tasty. . There are also options with different flavors, like rhubarb, which were also quite good.

The one and only review you need for Hart. Go in. Order anything on their menu. Have your tastebuds ready. Enjoy. Seriously, the stuff is proper good. The only negative is you’ll not be able to have everything in one sitting, but then again a reason to return! Loved the cardamon croissant. But the sesame bun with butter and cheese just hits different.

Some of the most beautiful (and delicious!) pastries you’ll ever eat. It’s off the beaten path so it’s not laden with tourists, which was a bonus. The young woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful—her recommendation of the moka pastry was incredible! Also, don’t pass up the gluten-free free pastries. They are surprisingly bouncy and not heavy or dense at all. Will absolutely return if I’m ever back in the city again.

It’s okay bakery in Østerbro with pretty pastries, but I am not a fan of such dough so fastelavnsboller were good but not something I’d want again. Blackcurrant one unfortunately didn’t have this real intense berry taste. Hot chocolate was a bit weird on taste, didn’t like it as expected. Maybe other pastries there are amazing but I tried only 2 fastelavnsboller. There are some seatings inside but no bathroom as it’s quite small
Malenkaya N — Google review
Super delicious. Although it’s a bit expensive I feel like it’s worth paying for the meticulous and delicate work that goes into their products. We tried the fastelavns bolle, as well as one of their lemon merengue cakes. Both were great, but since I am a big fan of citrusy desserts, the lemon takes the first price. I really found the outside of the fastelavnsbolle super interesting. It was like one big macaron, but crunchier and chewier. Great place for a pricey coffee date, and that’s not meant in a negative way. I mean it is expensive, but you also get some quality stuff. I enjoyed it a lot

It was our best breakfast place in Copenhagen. We have been there twice during our stay. We went for the classic Danish breakfast called the Morning Plate, folded eggs and some pastries. After trying most of the well known bakeries, this place is definitely one of our bests. The whipped butter in the morning plate is heavenly, we liked that it’s unsalted. The apricot and cream filled bun is really great, it has a thin layer of dough and a delicate amount of cream filling. All the other pastries are nice and buttery. We also had a chance to have a nice chat with the pizza chef during our breakfast about Copenhagen, it was a nice connection for us. We would like to try their pizzas one day.

OMG! This year I made a New Year’s resolution to visit 50 new bakeries. Rug Bakery was #31, and so far it's one of the best. The pastry I got was amazing, also good coffee, and a charming atmosphere. Highly recommend! I wish I lived nearby... I would come here all the time.
Elizabeth E — Google review
Tucked inside what looks like a fairly corporate hotel, this Danish bakery is actually a cool, design-led gem. It balances polished interiors with a bit of edge. The folded eggs are insanely good—rich, buttery, and best with a side of bacon (well worth the extra). Espresso was strong and spot-on, orange juice freshly squeezed, and the cinnamon pastry? Unreal. A brilliant breakfast spot that feels both refined and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Copenhagen.

Absolutely delicious breakfast / brunch restaurant in the center of Copenhagen. It is popular, so it is likely that you'll have to put your name to the list and queue outside for a while. The menu incorporates the Polish origin of the owners and blends inspirations from the kitchens of the world, taking you to Turkey, middle east or South America. We loved everything on the menu - probably Turkish Cilbir being the star of the brunch, but deconstructed breakfast burrito or shakshuka (called sekshuka at seks) were great aswell. The bread is freshly baked and you can get some appetizers with polish spread or with cheese and pickles (ask for the "illegal" ketchup version).

Love love love this little jewel of a place, one of my favourites in Copenhagen for sure. Love the story of the owner, the choices for the menu and the atmosphere, so warm vibrant and welcoming. They always have the best selection of drinks and beverages.

Very nice two polish girls, so warm and welcoming🫶 the avocado limo was very good (and Im saying this as a person who doesn’t like avocado) and mango lassi was very rich in flavor. the pastry was heavenly as well, freshly backed🤤 the whole place has such a cool, hygge vibe, highly recommended

We went to the cafe on Sunday for breakfast but the queue was out the door around to the side street. The girls working there didn't want to look up or greet people while they were busy and no wait list or anything you can get on so no way to know how long the wait was when the staff didn't want to talk to anyone. We left and gone to the Social Brew close by. As the cafe was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, we stopped by again on Monday to see if we can get a table for breakfast. You get the menu from the courter and ordered there and go find available table. The food was good but a little small, we had 3 dishes to shared between the 2 of us.

Best breakfast in Copenhagen so far! Everything we ate were so delicious. Especially avocado-lime lemonade 💘 We loved the atmosphere of the place and the menu as well. Hope we can comeback again for desserts and coffee 😋

I first visited a year ago, and my experience this time was quite similar. The service wasn’t great, probably because they seem understaffed – too many customers for them to really go the extra mile and be kind. The food, though 🤩 On Thursday, I tried the mango lassi to go (though served in a plastic cup). On Friday, I had the scrambled eggs – good, but nothing special. The gzik was pretty good, the chai was delicious, and the surprise cheesecake was also a nice treat. On Saturday, I went for the smørrebrød with salmon, which I really enjoyed. The avocado lemonade was also delicious.

Bakery
Bageriet Brød, a local bakery in Enghave Plad of Copenhagen, has been serving its community since 2012. This summer, they've introduced their own homemade ice cream with classic flavors like fior di latte, white chocolate, vanilla, strawberry sorbet, and the favorite chocolate brownie. The ice cream and waffle cones are made in-house; the buttery-flavored cone has a crispy cookie texture reminiscent of krumkake.
We are on the hunt for the best bun and cheese and this place was highly recommend to us, with good reason! The seed bread is crunchy, the cheese was dry aged and tasty, but the star of the show was the butter.

Really friendly staff and cozy interior. However the cardamom bun I had barely tasted like cardamom, it just was sweet bread, I couldn’t even bring myself to finish it because it was so dry and bland. The coffee was good tho. Maybe I will come back but I certainly wont get the cardamom bun again 6.5/10 not too sure if I would recommend this to someone

Not only was the rich, buttery taste of the kanel snegel delicious, the crispiness was divine as well. Kind service. Rightfully a busy place, but if you're early, you can enjoy your coffee and pastry in peace

Rondo is a charming bakery located in Norrebro, Copenhagen. The owner, Thomas Spelling, fulfilled his dream of opening a neighborhood bakery to complement his wine bar. Situated across from a school, it attracts parents dropping off and picking up their kids. The bakery offers delectable pastries like croissants and wholegrain rye slices for breakfast and prepares mouthwatering focaccia with tomatoes, olive oil, and anchovies for lunch.
Really good pastries; especially the savoury ones. Only issue is if you come too late they run out of good items.

Good sourdough abd BMO, but they have only one option of coffee - filter. They can add milk of course, don't expect Latte, cappuccino or drinks like these

Got their feta n spinach pastry (bcs the reviews said that the savoury ones are rly nice) It was ok. It’s defo one of the nicer ones but not as exceptional as I was expecting.

The sourghdough buns are super delicious. They only serve filter coffee, but if you like that, it’s a good one!

Cheese and leek buttered bun with cheese. Perfection as we know it. It sounds simole but is out of this world divine flavour. Good filter coffee!
Jade — Google review
Savoury pastry (40DKK) I was actually asking for another pastry (with onion, parmesan, and mushroom) but somehow got this one with spinach and feta. My fault for not realising until much later. A lot of people recommended Rondo’s savoury pastry to me but this one was just decent. It is nice to finally try out non-sweet pastry in Copenhagen for sure, however the spinach tasted weird cold and feta made the pastry soggy. I can’t help but feel like I should have asked for BMO or focaccia sandwich instead. Cinammon roll (35DKK) Very flaky pastries compared to the sweet bun version (more like a bread than pastry) I usually eat. I did find it a bit too sweet, though Rondo’s version had an interesting lemon twist to this classic pastry. It was nice, but not something I would repurchase.

Nestled within the vibrant green museum district of Copenhagen, Kafeteria SMK offers a delightful escape from the art exhibitions at Denmark's largest art museum. This charming café is a brainchild of renowned conceptual artist Danh Vo, who has masterfully blended classic Danish and modern Italian furniture with Japanese-inspired lighting to create an inviting atmosphere. Guests can savor delicious homemade cakes and pastries, alongside brunch favorites like sourdough bread with whipped butter and comté.
Love Kafeteria in SMK - I hsve visited many times and I am never disappointed. I am super sad about the negative reviews and low rating. The food is delicious, especilly the daily menu. The pastry is okay, not exceptional (except their cookies). Good quality and wide selection of drinks. The only downside of this place are the crowds of people - it is hard to find a place to sit, literally every time. And because people do not clean after themselves, the tables are dirty. Prices are average for Copenhagen standards. And the portions are huge! And yes, I do love the pancakes. ❤️🥞

Now called Magnolia. We paid DKK 355 for 2x small portions of mushroom salad straight from the fridge with cold toast on top and two glasses of water. Avoid this place, their pastry looked nice enough though.

Expensive- for what you see in the picture (small cup cappuccino,1bottle Coca-Cola,2 pastries) we paid 170dkk(22,79€) .The only yummy thing that we ate was the pastry with sesame seeds on top. The place was Noisy;by people, staff and plates. We stopped here just to refuel before finishing up our museum tour. It wasn’t great but not bad.

Danish restaurant
Restaurant Schønnemann is a historic and iconic eatery in Copenhagen, dating back to 1877. It's renowned for its traditional Danish smørrebrød (open sandwiches) and aquavit. The menu offers a wide selection of classic open-faced sandwiches, such as pickled herring, shrimp, and potato smørrebrød, all made with organic ingredients. The restaurant boasts an extensive beverage selection including 24 beers and over 140 types of aquavit.
We ended up here on recommendation - quite spontaneously and without a reservation. Apparently we were quite lucky, based on what other guests said on the doorstep, who had all booked several weeks in advance! The restaurant is a little off the beaten track in one of the many side streets and is also quite inconspicuous from the outside. Inside, however, it impresses with its typical, traditional Danish interior. First of all, the service is terrific! Outstanding! On a par with many Michelin star restaurants. Polite, humorous, helpful, super fast and quite discreet! The menu includes many traditional Danish smørrebrød and other regional specialties! If you want to have a private and quiet conversation, you should perhaps look around for a quieter alternative. But if you prefer the sociable, sometimes noisy hustle and bustle, you'll feel right at home here. Very nice ambience, good atmosphere and really excellent food! Anyone in Copenhagen should definitely stop by here! Not cheap, but fair for the quality on offer! Clear recommendation!

Nice place to have lunch, seems popular with both tourists and locals. We did not make reservation and were lucky to have a table for a hour plus which was enough. Very friendly and good service and delicious food. We were recommended to try the colourless spirit which matches the food well. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to try traditional herring and open sandwiches. Some sandwiches are really big enough, I would rather say that it is not a sandwich, but a core dish. The atmosphere is perfect, the reservation is easy to make. My best recommendations for visiting this place

Schønnemann in Copenhagen is more than just a place to eat; it's an experience defined by exceptional service and outstanding cuisine. From the moment you step through the door, you are met with a warmth and attentiveness that is genuinely lovely, making you feel welcomed and cared for throughout your entire meal. The food itself is a testament to quality ingredients and careful preparation. I had the tenderloin pork with mushrooms, and it was a dish of pure comfort and sophistication. The pork was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and juicy, with a delicate, savory flavor that spoke to its quality. Paired with it were perfectly sautéed mushrooms, which were rich and earthy, providing a wonderful textural and flavor contrast to the succulent pork. The combination was simple yet flawless, with each component enhancing the other to create a dish that was both hearty and refined. Overall, Schønnemann stands out not only for its delicious food but for the genuine hospitality of its team. The combination of the tenderloin pork with mushrooms and the lovely service made for a truly wonderful dining experience. It's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic danish meal that feels both special and satisfying.

Everything about the place was lovely. The service was spot on and the kind waiter adapted switch even to Swedish to communicate with us. Excellent option for lunch or dinner in Copenhagen. Typical Danish dishes, with very high quality. Prices on par with many other places in this area. We learned from one staff member about the story of the white and dark bread in Danish cuisine. Wonderful experience also for families (we travel with our 2 kids).

The food was excellent, and the service was perfect, very friendly and attentive. We were seated right next to the door, so there were a few drafts, and the restaurant could benefit from a little refresh in terms of decoration. That being said, everything was truly delicious. The waiter took the time to answer all our questions and even suggested a digestif tailored to each of our tastes. A big thank you to him for making it such a wonderful evening!

Overall the experience was very nice. Very well-behaved and polite crew. The food was tasty and unique. The only reason why I won’t rate it 5 starts is due to charging more for a schnapps that we didn’t order. The waiter offered schnapps for us making it look like it was on the house. However this is was not the case and they added it to our final bill.

Tommis Burger Joint is a popular spot in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District, offering quality fast food burgers, thin cut fries with a variety of hot sauces and relishes, tasty milkshakes, and craft beers with an Icelandic flair. The menu includes options for veggie burgers as well. The restaurant has a help-yourself sauce bar and offers takeaways or indoor and outdoor seating. Visitors recommend trying the bearnaise burger and opting for the sweet potato fries.
ith Room to Grow Went to this burger place with a group of seven, and it was a total hit. Everyone was raving about their burgers—seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group go that quiet while eating! The flavors, the buns, the toppings—it was all top-tier, and the vibe in the place matched the food: fun, casual, and buzzing. As someone who doesn’t eat red meat, my options were a bit limited. They only had one vegetarian burger, but I have to say—it was really good. Great texture, bold flavor, and definitely not an afterthought. Still, I would’ve loved to see a chicken option on the menu for a bit more variety. That said, the quality and energy of the place more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re a burger lover—or going out with a group of them!

The flavours were a little disappointing for me as they were too traditional, so I took the two most "unusual": seabuckthorn and dragonfruit. It ended great, they were truly made from fruits with intense flavours. 1-3 scoops cost 39-49-59 DKK and the service was very kind. The place is small, but you might be able to sit down if you prefer. In summary I would not say they had the best ice cream of my life, but definitely good quality.

Great flavors, the chocolate was good but a bit too sweet, I would have loved a more deep and rich cocoa taste. Their home made waffles are very tasty, not like the cheap ones you get in other comercial ice cream shops. You can feel the artisanal vibe here, really caring about the ingredients.

What a lovely gelato place - their soft ice especially is to go for. They have new flavors each week, sorbets there especially feel fresh
Malenkaya N — Google review
The BEST icecream I have ever had in Copenhagen 🍦the quality of the taste is incredibly good I went two days in a row. The first time I got the stracciatella which had perfect pieces of dark chocolate, not too sweet, just perfect 🤩 Then today I got the coffee flavor, because they change every day (so you want to come back to taste all of them). And I added a crunch white chocolate crumble that was AMAZING, truly the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. I’m coming back for sure 🫶

Bakery
This bakery is a real find for those with dietary restrictions. They have gluten free and dairy free options, as well as a wide variety of sweet and savoury foods. The coeliac in the group was very happy with their selection!
A growing number of major cities now have a dedicated gluten free bakery, but because they're still such a rarity, we always make a special point of visiting one when we can. With a long day exploring Copenhagen ahead, we planned starting here for breakfast before heading to the Palm House when it opened nearby. It's such a cool place, there are blankets at the wee tables outside if you need them, and the food was great. My daughter, also gluten free, and my son, who isn't, both thought the croissants were the best they'd ever had.

Absolutely love this place! The gluten-free pastries are incredibly delicious – you’d never guess they’re gluten-free. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick and efficient. Perfect spot if you're looking for something tasty to go. Highly recommended for anyone – not just those who are gluten-sensitive!

📍 H.U.G Bageri, Copenhagen Completely blown away by you 🤩🥐✨ If you’re searching for gluten-free bakeries in Copenhagen, look no further! H.U.G Bageri is a 100% gluten-free bakery that delivers on both taste and presentation. For anyone with gluten sensitivities or dietary restrictions, this place is an absolute dream, every treat is crafted with care and bursting with flavour. We’ve tried countless gluten-free pastries over the years, but this bakery truly raises the bar. The soft, sweet, and indulgent pastries here are a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. Every bite is a reminder that gluten-free doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour or texture. Here’s what we tried: 1️⃣ Cardamom Bun – perfectly balanced spice and sweetness, with delicate flaked almonds on top. Soft, fragrant, and utterly addictive. 2️⃣ Poppy Seed Pastry – a slightly savoury twist with a crisp, golden exterior and a soft, fluffy centre. The layers are perfectly baked and melt in your mouth. 3️⃣ Carrot Cake Muffin – moist, flavourful carrot cake topped with the creamiest, richest icing. This was our absolute favourite, a true gluten-free dessert masterpiece. The staff are equally amazing! Huge thanks to Silas, who gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel so welcome. The bakery itself is charming, inviting, and Instagram-ready, with every detail thoughtfully crafted. For anyone visiting Copenhagen who loves gluten-free pastries, bakery treats, and sweet snacks, H.U.G Bageri is an absolute must. We’re inspired to try bringing a little of this gluten-free magic back to South Africa and recreate some of these incredible flavours ourselves!

A gluten free bakery that delivers! So much of what passes for GF in baking is functional, rather than tasty, but even to this non GF pastry lover, the quality and taste of the baked food was excellent. An essential stop for all people on a GF diet who have longed for decent pastries, or even for those who just appreciate a good bakery.

Best cinnamon roll ever!! Everything was so delicious i even doubted it being gluten free. The bread and cheese 10/10. I regret not buying more stuff

This super cute bakery is a delight, with fresh croissants that are perfectly flaky and buttery. The staff are incredibly warm and love to chat, which adds a friendly and personal touch to the experience. It feels like a place where everyone is welcome. The outdoor seating is right in the sun, making it a perfect spot to relax and fully enjoy yourself with a coffee and pastry in hand. The vibe is easygoing and cheerful, and everything we tried tasted freshly baked and made with care. A lovely little stop that is definitely worth a visit if you are nearby.

Dedicated gluten free bakery- perfect for coeliac! Very cute little bakery- tried a few things: Mocha cake was insanely delicious, creamy but not heavy such great texture and flavour! Also had the pain au chocolate which wasn’t my favourite… the brownie was very rich almost fudgy Tried a date and cardamom bread swirl which wasn’t quite dense but very nice flavour- made me wish I had bought some proper bread from there as the texture was excellent!
Thalia B — Google review
I found this amazing gluten free bakery by chance, thanks to the recommendation of another bakery that was closed when I contacted them. The treatment I received since the very beginning was close and kind. And their products are amazingly good. They have a wide offer of breads and pastries that look delicious. And all they I could try was so good that made me travel in time back to when I could eat gluten, more than 23 years ago. I think the almost permanent long line they have at the door to get their products says it all. Don’t worry for the line, they have enough for everybody!

Bakery
Det Rene Brød is a popular Danish bakery with two locations in Copenhagen, known for its extensive selection of house-made bread and pastries. Despite its initial non-vegan appearance, the bakery offers a variety of vegan options such as cinnamon snails, raisin tea buns, and tebirkes. The bakery is famous for its fabulous sourdough bread and also offers buttery croissants, crumbles, and cakes that are a true feast for the senses.
Det Rene Brød is one of my favorite spots in the city! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a clean, bright, and modern space that feels incredibly airy and inviting. The open kitchen concept is a lovely touch—you can actually see the fresh bread and pastries being made, which adds a real sense of quality and transparency. The service is always warm and attentive. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome whether you're grabbing something to go or staying for a coffee and a bite. There’s plenty of seating and the spacious layout makes it a great place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. They offer a wide variety of baked goods, from delicious sourdoughs to sweet pastries, and plenty of choices for breakfast or lunch. Everything I've tried has been fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that balances great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service!

Huge choice of vegan options is great. I ordered a slice of banana bread, it was extremely good & a generous portion. They charge extra for oat milk in my coffee & it tasted over heated (aka not good). Lots of space & seating. The labelling of ingredients is helpful (vegan & milk intolerant) & my friend was avoiding gluten. They even had vegan fastelavn bolle.

We had a wonderful birthday gathering at this backery. They make their own bread daily and tastes 🤩!! Staffs are friendly, the backery is spacious and cozy for friends gather together especially on a sunny day with big windows opening by the sidewalk!
SHAN W — Google review
Very rude staff. I have an allergy and the staff did not want to listen to me or tell me what was in the food even after I told them. Maybe it’s due to the fact that I am foreigner. The pastry is stale and the cappuccino subpar. The staff is also not cleaning the tables, half the tables had used plates on top and it was difficult to find a spot. Also extra charge for non dairy milk cappuccino is really like greedy to another level, for example at Meyers bageri (with or without dairy option) it’s the same price and it’s much better.
Enrico C — Google review
Lovely service and yummy pastries! Sadly they didn't have anymore kanelsnegl that I've been craving for (it was Sunday afternoon) but the wienerbrod and mandlerkage definitely made our evening cosy too 😊👍
Jing Y — Google review
FYI - the location changed in the spring of 2018 to a much larger shop just around the corner with loads of seating and direct sunlight. The bread and pastries are excellent, and so are the sandwiches, pizzas and drinks. Good simple options for brunch and lunch. It's hands down the best weekend breakfast option in the neighborhood - little wait and good seating. Compare that to hip Mad & Kaffe a block away where you wait for an hour in between two cars to sit in the shade with a blanket in the middle of summer. That's where Det Rene Brod used to be and they made a smart move. Two small points to work on: understaffed on weekend mornings (tables not cleared, missing dishes) and they run out of rundstykke med birkes by 10:00. I don't care much but it drives my Danish girlfriend crazy. 🤷‍♂️ Edit: came back two weeks later to a fully stocked rundstykke basket and staff on hand clearing tables. 👍👍

The cakes at this bakery were delicious. It was nice that they were kept in the refrigerator so that the whipped cream wouldn't melt, so I could eat them cold. Cupcakes were delicious, but they are NOT vegan. My wife is lactose intolerant, and after the first bite her stomach began to hurt. So really a shame that you advice it as vegan, when it is not. That brings the final experience down, unfortunately

Really amazing staff and ambiance, the place is just lovely and adorable 🤗. Donuts were yummy 🍩 and the cupcakes as well 🧁, I tried like 4 of them as they were looking crazy good and couldn't help it:) I felt like the cupcake were a bit dry, but the frostings were absolutely delicious!! I loved the fact that they had halloween/autumn themed sweets last time I went there 🎃. And the staff was nice and friendly at all times I've been there, makes you feel really welcomed:) 🥰

I came here specially on a rainy day to enjoy hot chocolate. I ordered one of the menu items. Instead, they just brought me hot milk. My boyfriend ordered a traditional hot chocolate, but they brought him a very weak, almost tasteless cocoa. The barista girl couldn't explain to me clearly why the menu says one thing and tastes completely different. She said she didn't know what to add and added a little bit of everything. What is this supposed to mean? I do not recommend this place for drinking hot drinks, although the sweets were delicious.

Espresso House is a Danish coffee chain with numerous locations in Copenhagen. Each spot offers a delightful variety of treats, from giant double chocolate cookies to sweet caramel buns. The city center gem provides a cozy atmosphere and an array of vegan options like blueberry pie and plant-based hot chocolate. With generous portions, delicious cinnamon rolls, and expertly brewed coffee, it's perfect for casual conversations or leisurely meals. The Christmas latte with cinnamon and cardamom is a must-try.
Espresso House quickly became one of my favorite spots during my trip. I ended up going there for both breakfast and sometimes even dinner—that’s how much I enjoyed it! The food and drinks were consistently good, the service was fast, and the staff were really friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s a cozy place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a quality meal or coffee.

It’s a great coffee shop! Purchasing the coffee bean from certified farmers directly. Farmers get fair and sustainable market price and the consumers have the most high quality coffee in the cup! It’s the best way to support smaller farmers and satisfy the massive customers! This store installs clean toilets for the guests which is utmost appreciated.

Nice place, good atmosphere, the pastries are ok and staff is friendly. The only downside is the quality of the coffee but I suppose that’s a franchise issue and they can’t do much about it. Opening hours are very much catered to tourists.

Just a short walk from the historic Tivoli Gardens, this hotel offers relaxed and cleverly designed compact rooms suitable for couples or business travelers. The interior boasts bright splashes of color, funky art pieces, and a spacious bar and restaurant area for socializing.
Absolutely fantastic hotel, might even be the best hotel I stayed at in all of Europe. The room was comfortable, spacious, and I had the best sleep with the black out curtains. The locker storage was extremely convenient and very safe with individual lockers. The self check in process was quick and easy and the staff was there to assist with any issues we had.
Sarah J — Google review
The best part of the hotel is it's location, everything within walkable distance. The room size was small, but with large, comfortable and clean bed. Breakfast was nice, but limited in variety. The staff are very nice and helpful. What I did not like is having the sink in the sleeping area instead of the bathroom, can't wash hands in the bathroom after using toilet. But overall it's a nice place to stay in Copenhagen.
Soudamini M — Google review
The best cost-quality hotel you can stay if you want to visit Copenhagen. It is situated in the best location(city centre and 1 min to Tivoli Garden and Metro). It has few non-stop groceries nearby amd a lot of places to eat nearby. The breakfast is one of the best i've ever eaten. The rooms are modern and techy (you control everything from the tablet they provide or from your phone). The staff is very friendly and helpful. For smokers is perfect because it is probably one of the few who has a terrace right outside the breakfast area so you can smoke and drink a cofee right after you eat while watching the city centre. Thing is they were bought by Marriot and they have told me they will dissmis their current App and checkin system(which were THE BEST in the market).
Bogdan N — Google review
A good centrally located hotel, less than 5 min. on foot from the main train station. The rooms are small, but very functional. I liked the possibility to control lights, blinds, and TV on an iPad. Also, the rooms are well insulated: There was a concert on the square practically in front of the hotel, but we barely heard anything. I also enjoyed reading the books provided in the room. Overall a very pleasant stay.
C. W — Google review
Clean and quiet hotel that is centrally located and around the corner from Tivoli Gardens. Check in on the top floor took about 5 minutes. The room itself was very high tech. Could close the shades, adjust the room temperature, change the lighting in the shower and request housekeeping on an iPad. Took the train from the airport and walked ~ 10-15 minutes to the hotel. Walkable to the Kødbyen (meat packing district with lots of restaurants) and Strøket. Public transportation across the street.
Sandy C — Google review
Great for a work trip, all the staff were friendly but big shout to Benji who always seemed to go above and beyond. Can’t say the beds are quite as comfortable as suggested in the marketing while the rooms are compact but enjoyable. Probably not one you’d recommend to an older relative with the self check in and iPad driven room controls!
Brynmor R — Google review
Do not stay here with 2 people, especially if you are over the age of 45. The bed is crammed in a corner, one person must sleep completely boxed in on 3 sides. The only way for that person to get out of bed is to wake up the other person to move first. Every room is so tiny and barren they hardly even work. We asked for other options and none exist. For a new hotel, it’s a terrible design. I guess they assume we brought a water bottle with us- there are no glasses or cups anywhere in the room. Coffee?? Nope. No space for it and no hint of it in sight. Also no bedside table, just a very tiny shelf for the one person on the outside. Learn from our mistake and find a different place.
Jeanette M — Google review
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were completely satisfied from start to finish. We would especially like to thank Miss Linh, who was incredibly kind and helpful – her warm and professional attitude truly enhanced our overall experience. We were pleasantly surprised when she offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar with a beautiful view of the city, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is clean, modern, and perfectly located. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. I would absolutely recommend this hotel 100%, and we would gladly return in the future. Thank you for everything!

The Villa Copenhagen is a brand new five-star hotel in the heart of Copenhagen that champions the concept of conscious luxury. This inviting accommodation offers impeccable service and luxurious amenities, all while being mindful of the environmental impact. On top of its gorgeous surroundings, the hotel boasts a rooftop pool that is sustainably heated using excess heat from the cooling system.
A Superb Hotel for the Discerning Traveler Villa Copenhagen is, without a doubt, a hotel of excellent quality in a superb location. It provides a truly top-tier experience for its guests. The breakfast buffet is a standout feature—it's rich, abundant, and caters to every palate with a sophisticated selection of high-quality items. The on-site bakery is simply wonderful, and having a chef ready to prepare a fresh omelet or a similar dish to your liking is a fantastic touch. The professionalism of the hotel staff is evident in every detail. You can clearly see their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, as well as a commendable dedication to sustainability and protecting the environment. The hotel's restaurants are excellent, offering high-level cuisine. However, it can be slightly frustrating that almost every small request comes with an additional charge. The prices are a bit higher than what you might expect even in New York, but everything is presented with great taste and executed to a very high standard. Overall, Villa Copenhagen is highly recommended for those who understand and appreciate true quality. It’s a distinguished choice for a memorable stay.
Yochi C — Google review
Overall, I liked the hotel. It's got a great lobby and the rooms are great and quite clean. Service was great. The main issue is that the rooms don't have a desk or any closet space for that matter. Temperature control is confusing to use and doesn't really work. Breakfast was decent but nothing to write home about. Not on par with other 5-star hotels I've stayed at in this price point. It has all the basic, but a bit limited. The gym was a huge disappointment. It's extremely small, and has barely enough room and equipment for only 1 person to be lifting at a time...Only one bench which is ridiculous and very little space. A hotel of this size and price point needs to do much better here. The pool and sauna were standouts for me and were the main redeeming qualities.

My husband and I chose Villa Copenhagen to stay in for our 10 year wedding anniversary weekend away. We had arrived from London. The hotel is excellently located across the road from the central station and Tivoli. The hotel is exceptional, clean and has world class service. The room was lovely and luxurious with lovely toiletries, all the amenities you needed and an excellent shower. It was a lovely surprise to receive a card and bottle of champagne for our anniversary! The pool is wonderful we used it twice during the weekend. The breakfast was plentiful and had a lot of variety. The service everywhere was excellent including the lobby bar, check in, pool side, breakfast etc.

In summary if you are a couple or just by yourself, you will most likely love this property and I recommend this to you. If you are a family with kids (small or big), may be not so much and maybe you will find your stay average at best based on the prices you will most likely pay. We stayed here for 3 nights with family across multiple rooms, superior king room and family room. Both of these rooms categories had tiny rooms. We expected the family room to be bigger but other than having the sofa bed, there was no other extra room. Bathrooms were small as well. Overall property is nice with a good and impressive lobby, full of light (skylight) and their restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast buffet on all days and food was really good! Their breads like croissant, etc (which come from their Rug bakery) were just amazing and one of the best we have had (even compared to Paris). You can order omelettes and they have 3-4 hot food options in breakfast in addition to a lot of cold breakfast choices. Their outdoor pool is in an amazing setting and was another highlight. Overall property is nice, rooms are tiny, food is nice, location is great and very accessible. I wouldn’t stay here again given their high prices and given our expectation of a luxury hotel which in my opinion it was not.

We had an absolute amazing stay at hotel Villa. The staff was extremely service minded and friendly, the room and the whole interiordesign was so stylish, the pool and the sauna was over the top and the most amazing part was the breakfast. Top-notch quality. Can’t wait to come back.
Sofia K — Google review
First and foremost: The staff were incredibly kind and supportive – they truly helped me through a very difficult situation, and for that I am so grateful <3 The restaurants: Absolutely fantastic – a real highlight of the stay. The hotel itself: The building is beautifully designed and very appealing at first glance. Unfortunately, the prices are hard to justify. The rooms are quite small for the rate, and the so-called rooftop pool feels misleading – it’s not the rooftop experience you’d expect. The spa area is also very limited in size and quickly feels overcrowded given the number of guests. The location: It’s convenient for getting around, but it’s directly on a busy main street. With the central train station and even a rollercoaster park right next door, the surroundings are noisy and far from relaxing and every weekend they have fireworks at midnight which make you feel like bombs are going off next to the hotel. Not really the place for a peaceful stroll. Overall: Sadly, it just doesn’t live up to the price tag. What’s offered is what I would expect from a regular hotel at a standard rate – nothing that explains such high room prices.
Charlotte — Google review
Overall the hotel was very nice. The pool, sauna and breakfast are all great amenities. The restaurant inside, the Rug had the best pizza. My only negative comment about the actual hotel is the cigarette smoke that comes through the front doors. You could smell it absolutely everywhere on that courtyard floor. We purchased drinks and had to leave because it was so strong. Not sure why smokers need to be in the doorway. They choose to smoke, not me. Hopefully the hotel can remedy that. Only other concern is the location. Right by train but quite a walk to main city center.

It is located in the Latin Quarter, a central district with lots of charm, restaurants and bars. However, it is not overcrowded or hectic, but rather relaxed. Many important attractions are within walking distance, otherwise you can hire a bike or use public transport. We also liked the very friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere at the bar. The furnishings in the room are a little sparse, we would have liked a little more cupboard space. There is a small fridge, which we could have used in the summer temperatures, but it was working. The breakfast is extensive, but somewhat special, as it is very "organic". There is no white bread or rolls etc. However, friends of organic food and vegans will certainly appreciate this. When we reported a minor technical problem in the bathroom, we were told that there is no technician there at the weekend to look at it.

Very nice hotel in the centre. We had smaller room, but it has everything we needed and was pretty cosy. Breakfast was fantastic, wide range of organic food, served very attractive way. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. 10 minutes to metro station, bike rental opposite and also Donkey republic bike stands few meters away. Everyday free wine hour 17-18 in the foyeur and free spirit hour 22-23. Hope we will return sometimes in the future ♥️

An amazing and comfy stay in the heart of the city. We had an Apartment. It was clean, decently sized with heated floors in the ensuite. They include free laundry facilities & dryer (we’re on a big euro trip and this saves so much money and time) a gym and happy hour for drinks. My favourite thing was breakfast. About 90-100 percent of options were organic! Heaps of options plus coffee, teas and the best smoothies. Honeslty well worth it as Denmark is so expensive. Hotel desk service is 24 hours. They have an amazing lobby. Well furnished and very inviting. Highly recommend!

The staff at the front desk were very kind and welcoming, especially the girl who checked us in — she was lovely and even offered us a replacement room before we saw it, which says a lot… Unfortunately, the room with the slanted ceiling wasn’t very comfortable, and the sofa was dirty. The shower also needed a squeegee — water went everywhere. The food was okay, just standard, but the plates were dirty and it didn’t feel very clean. Overall, the service was great and friendly, but the cleanliness and comfort could definitely be improved.

Wow wow! Such a great central location. Also an amazing organic breakfast with plenty of options including Barista made coffee and freshly made smoothies! Also has a gym and laundry (with washing machine, dryer and powder included) for no extra cost. At night between certain hours, they offer free wine and spirits for guests! Apartments were warm, clean and so well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were a walk away from Stroget and many main sights. Would highly recommend!

It is in a great location. It is close to the copenhagen central station and the norrerport subway stop. The breakfast was great, and they do a complimentary wine hour and later on a complimentary drink hour. The room was very small, but we didn't spend alot of time in it. Also very close to Tivoli. There was a kafe about a block away that had a fabulous rooibos tea.
Natalie N — Google review
Value for money is terrible. Extremely expensive for a small, dirty room that had 0 decoration or attention to detail. There was dust in obvious spots, calcium accumulation in the kettle and rust below the kettle’s station. Bed was horrible. We asked for a king size bed and we got 2 beds covered with a topper. If you’re willing to spend the money for their standard rate rooms, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Andersen & Maillard is a popular bakery in Copenhagen known for its pastry creations. While some have found the quality and taste to be not exceptional, many are drawn to their diverse selection of pastries such as the Espresso Croissant, Pistachio Cube, and Chocolate Croissant Bun. The Cube Croissant with Pistachio is a viral favorite but tends to sell out quickly. Despite this, there are alternative options recommended by the staff that turn out to be very good as well.
I absolutely loved the chocolate chip cookie. The exterior has a nice crust while the center is soft, gooey andade with this rich chocolate. The flake salt on top is the perfect addition. The chocolate croissant was good and nice to try but not our favorite form of chocolate croissant. It was filled with a chocolate cream filling which was not overly sweet.
Janet L — Google review
I have heard so much about this place, and could not wait to try their pastries and coffee. I was disappointed to find out the cube croissant contains pork gelatine - but they had other options available. We had a plain croissant, bun with cheese and a pizza slice. The croissant was the best one 🥐 the pizza was somewhat underwhelming. It was not bad but I had such high expectations since it looked so delicious. Coffee was good. ☕️ The interior and atmosphere were great. Staff were sweet and helpful. ✨

One of CPH best bakery and certainly a must when visiting Nordhavn neighbourhood. They used to have San Sebastain cheesecake that i haven't seen for a while, but in case you see it on display grab it as i think it's the best in town 😉

🥐 This is honestly one of the best pastry shops I’ve ever tried! You can really tell there’s passion and hard work behind everything they do — every detail is taken care of, and the desserts are absolutely delicious 😍 The only thing I’d improve is the service, but it’s easy to overlook when the quality is this good. I also loved being able to watch the pastry chefs making all the sweets 👩‍🍳✨ Such a lovely place with a wide selection! 🍰💛
Andrea C — Google review
I had high expectations, but the coffee (cortado) wasn't up to par. The milk at espresso didn't fit together, so it looks bad after a few seconds. The cakes are big but not that filling. I have a croissant and a pistacie, and the croissant was good, whereas the pistacie was a bit boring.
Terje T — Google review
A very fine nordic interior bakery, with ceramic art pieces and soft colours. The espresso croissant was likeable and the cortardo so so, but all in all a very cozy place.
Julie R — Google review
I came all the way here, a 50-minute trip, just for the weekend specials, especially the pecan pie and almond croissant. But by midday, both were already gone. Not a crumb in sight. So I settled for a plain croissant that was, frankly, as uninspired as it gets. Fifty minutes for mediocre and forgettable. At least the coffee had the decency to be good, the only thing that saved this visit from being a total flop.

Hotel Sanders is a sophisticated and elegant vintage-inspired hotel located in Copenhagen. The 54-room retreat, owned by former ballet dancer Alexander Kolpin, offers stylish interiors designed by London-based firm Lind + Almond. The rooms feature mid-century Danish furniture, local goods, and commissioned art for a cozy atmosphere. The property also includes a rooftop deck and TATA cocktail bar with theatrical inspiration from the neighboring Royal Danish Theatre.
What a fabulous experience. The cocktail bar is aces, so creative and the vibe/music is cool. The rooms by European standards are really big. The room is comfortable and the design is simple and clean. The location is also great. From the airport metro to the hotel was about 20 minutes. Fantastic stay thanks to the staff for all the great service.

I visited today with friends and had the best time. We were served by Gemma, who was fantastic and had lots of suggestions for our weekend in Copenhagen. If you are looking for great cocktails and amazing staff, this is the place to go!

Hotel Sanders is exactly my kind of place. Every detail, from the design to the service, was exceptional. The front desk staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. My room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The food? Just as impressive. Everything about this hotel felt intentional, elegant, and easy. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Truly a standout in Copenhagen.

We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions during a recent trip to Denmark. This is a wonderful, luxurious hotel. It has a great location and is within walking distance of downtown Copenhagen. The atmosphere here is warm and elegant. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and stylish. The beds were also very comfortable. There is a nice hotel bar and a good hotel restaurant (with indoor and outdoor seating, and also rooftop seating). We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sanders.

Loved the experience, the vibe, and the service. They make you feel right at home—warm greetings, never overbearing. The lobby feels like a cozy living room, the outdoor breakfast spot is so intimate, and the little sidewalk seating area is perfect for people-watching. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The only drawback is the shower, which sort of floods the whole bathroom. Still, I long for the comforts of this hotel. Also, it’s fragrance-free which is fantastic for someone with fragrance allergies.
Naomi E — Google review
Elegantly charming boutique hotel with amazing personnel. The restaurant area is very special feeling like at your own townhouse. Many thanks to Emilie from the reception team for huge help with the restaurants bookings.

Unfortunately I had a so bad experience… We stayed in this “comfortable hotel” with my wife and our 2 years old baby. And our stay was not the best. Services were lower than expected compared with the price we paid. And the worst was the housekeeping personal, their, supervisors, managers or whatever… From early in the morning we heard them laughing and screaming in the corridors without taking care of the guests. We told them to stop screaming, that our baby was sleeping, but just looked at us with bad face and did nothing… I would be so ashamed of having this kind of people working there if I were you. Hotel is nice, but I will never come back.

The hotel and TATA bar is amazing. However, based on several times visiting the restaurant the experience was super disappointing each time, poor and unwelcoming service from every waiter and especially a manager (and older man, just my guess that he is a manager).

Hahnemanns Køkken is a charming and beautifully decorated place that exudes a sense of calm and hygge, offering an array of delectable treats. While some have noted a slight issue with speed in service, the establishment continues to impress with its excellent food and innovative offerings. The bakery is particularly praised for its amazing bread and pastry, although there have been some recent changes in their selling practices.
Stopped by for breakfast, both the coffee and pastries were nice! Almost everyone speaks great English in Copenhagen. The girl was very friendly to explain things to us. We sat at the table facing the windows, people outside biking over were often smiling to us, great atmosphere!

We managed to visit this lovely cafe twice in our holiday trip to Copenhagen, both times we chose coffee and a delicious pastry. The cafe is situated on a roundabout but is separated from it by a small coppice wooded area. The patio sits within this glade and the dappled sunlight shines through making a delightful setting. There is also a sunny patio and a large seating area inside. The serving counter is well organised and the staff are all friendly and cheerful and fully bilingual in Danish and English. The food selection is great and the strawberry pastry on our second visit was fantastic. We visited quite a few cafes in the city during our stay but this was my favourite. There was something about how the leafy glade atmosphere that was able to make this hidden gem the number one choice for us. Highly recommended.

70 kr = Croissant is to the dry side and the pot coffee is ok. Nothing is really wrong I just expected a bit more for that price.. The waiters seem tired.. otherwise a beautiful shop, and the sitting area outside is wonderful in the summer.

I first posted my review two years ago: ‘We are regulars of hahnemanns. Amazing bread and pastry.’ I continue to be a regular at Hahnemans, and while they still impress with excellent food and innovative offers, I've noticed a lingering issue with speed. Unfortunately, the service lacks the efficiency one would expect, and things take longer than desired. Given the premium prices, an improvement in managing demand is essential for them to deliver the top-notch service that matches their reputation.

We ordered a latte, a croissant, and a filter coffee. The croissant was crispy and delicious, the coffee had a pleasant flavor with fruity and acidity. The cafe food and atmosphere got very well improved after the renovation. The avacado plate was very nice. Different flavors were really fitting very well and it was quite filling even though the size might have looked small. The restaurant tables are such you can easily work on your project, if it’s a knitting or a university project! It’s quite for work but not restrictive not to be able to have a conversation with your company. I’ve been there couple of times after renovation for different purposes and it was all good!

Their coffee and food is really nice, but their service is really bad. Very long waiting time when ordering and all you see is the staff’s back. No hello when coming in or anything. Also they really need to practice when to wear - and not to wear - their hygienic plastic gloves.

Bevi Bevi is a great Italian restaurant with an amazing small-dishes menu. They are always up for trying new things, and their desserts like panna cotta always hit the spot! The atmosphere is great and the staff friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious evening out!
Beautiful neighborhood Italian spot with a 6 course dinner. Amazing service and well worth the wait.

A nice experience but you have to go with the idea of not having a real meal but simply a drink with friends accompanied by something to eat, a half experience, the food is all ready and heated with the microwave, a 3 star because I expected to leave with a fuller belly, the products are good, but not top quality and you can tell, the familiar and friendly service I felt at ease, the location absolutely needs to be improved
Andrea C — Google review
I recently visited Bevi Bevi in Copenhagen with a group of friends (we were 7 in total), and while the overall experience was enjoyable, I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed by the set menu this time. The concept of the restaurant is a fixed menu with several courses brought to the table throughout the evening. The service was incredibly kind and attentive, and we felt very comfortable and at ease during the whole dinner — which made for a great atmosphere. That said, the food itself felt a bit too simple and not very filling. We started with a fennel-like salad with just a couple of orange slices and some olives. We also had sliced fresh tomatoes with olives, which again felt quite basic. The prosciutto with melon was nice but very classic, and the portion of cannelloni (just one per person) was quite small. The highlights for me were the burrata with cherry tomatoes, creamy and flavorful, and the vitello tonnato, which was well-executed. Still, compared to past visits my friends had, the menu this time felt less creative and a bit disappointing. In the end, Bevi Bevi feels more like a place to go for drinks with friends, where you can have a few small bites on the side, not necessarily a spot you’d go to for a meal focused solely on food. Hopefully next time the menu will feel more inspired.

This a wine bar and the wine is indeed in focus, they have a very nice selection and the prices seems fair. I was there to eat, we hand the 7 course bar menu, and enjoy a glass of wine. The food was average, one of dishes was a complete disappointment, the ceviche was tasteless and boring, and have nothing to do with ceviche. the dessert was also a bit of a disappointment. On the other end of the scale the octopus salad was amazing. Service was fair, in the start of the service the waiters was fast and welcoming, but the end of the service they where not present and very sloppy, they did not bother to introduce the dishes. The wine I ordered came for the second serving and we ended up waiting more than 20 minutes for dessert as the waiters where to busy browsing there mobile. The wine was quite good and served at a perfect temperature, and the biodynamic sodas was very good.
Andrés C — Google review
An interesting fusion of what felt like a Danish cold table and an Italian tasting menu. Particularly enjoyed the stracciatella cheese dish and we loved the bread!
David W — Google review
Went to have dinner here with a friend. This place is super comfy and serves good and tastefully Italian food - to share! The sizes of the dishes are huge, you'll get full here. We decided to share three dishes instead of taking the 8 course menu - and it was a good decision to go low! The food was amazing, especially the straciatella which is a classic dish. The waitress was really kind and professional helping us to find a good bottle of wine - by the way, all the wines are special either organic, biodynamic or nature. I'll highly recommend this place.

I got to know this place because of their collaboration with a famous Matcha shop. We were delighted with the beautiful treats. The blueberry tart was divine!!! Also the Danish pastry which I can’t recall the name was so flavorful. The cheesecake was yummy, but not the highlight. (But it has a PERFECT texture, which I highly appreciate). Not too sweet. The macarons were a disappointment. I tried one of every flavor, should have looked more closely before purchasing, and they are not cheap. There were no “feet” on the macarons, thus they were over whipped and over baked, hard, uneven, flavorless, besides the mint chocolate flavor which tasted like strong toothpaste, it was jarring. I Had to try each of them before making the review to make sure I wasn’t biased on just one of the flavors, but no, each and everyone of them were made bad my. I couldn’t even finish a single one.

We order a red velvet cake for 12-15 people for our brunch. Great service and everything went well, except…the quality of the cake itself. It was dry, overbaked and definitely has been made for a few days. There were some crack on the icing - i am no baker expert so I don’t know why, but the cake looked (and tasted) sad and old. We are not commenting on the taste, as it can be subjective, but we expect a moist, (relatively) newly baked cake, but they didnt deliver. We should have sticked to our normal bakery (have been wanting to try Sweet Valentine for a while based on a friend’s recommendation but this is just not up to any average bakery standards)
