Ala Moana Center is a premier shopping destination located in the Ala Moana neighborhood, just a short drive from Waikiki. It boasts over 350 stores, including upscale department stores like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, as well as budget-friendly options and local boutiques. The center also offers a wide range of dining choices with over 70 restaurants and eateries to explore.
This mall is incredible! There is every store you can imagine and some we never even heard of! There are four (4) floors and it is an open-air mall so you are walking around outside, which is different, but nice. All of the stores we went into were nice and clean. The employees everywhere were very helpful. We went for the Lego store, but we ended up spending hours here after seeing all there was to look at. This is definitely a great way to spend a day. We would visit here again.
Kristin M — Google review
This mall is huge, over 350 stores! The biggest open air mall of the US!!! They have all the high end designers like LV, Prada, Gucci, Chanel, Giorgio Armani and other popular brands Tory Burch, Lululemon, The North Face, Yeti, Hoka, Sephora, Kate Spade just to name a few. There are plenty of dining options sit down (BDubs, Morton’s Steakhouse, Korean BBQ, Vietnamese, Olive Garden are some), casual (Chick-fil-a, sushi, Jack n the box, Raising Canes…too many to name!) ands snacks n drinks (Auntie Annie’s, Baskin Robbin’s, Starbucks, coffee, bakery’s, shaved ice only to name a few!) This mall is like an outlet, there are 9 levels for parking! Also easily accessible by public transportation, trolleys and ride shares. You definitely need a full day and walking shoes if you wish to scroll this beauty!
Davis D — Google review
Wonderful outdoor mall with super convenient shopping experience and great location only 10 minutes' drive from Waikiki. I can say that the mall has everything we need, plenty of parking and easy access to another floors and stores.
Melissa N — Google review
Free parking, variety of shops at different price points, and free daily hula show at 5pm! It's a nice outdoor mall with a weird layout though. They do have all the overpriced bougie stores in the main walkway, but it you go towards the sides you'll find stores with more affordable prices.
Comfy P — Google review
Opening hours are 10 am to 8 pm Free parking on 9 floors. Very nice open air mall with 350 stores. Many designers, Bloomingdale’s, macys, Neumann Marcus, target, Nordstrom, foodland, Barnes and noble… Very large and nice food court with lots of choices.
Carine — Google review
This is a beautiful outdoor mall with multiple levels and some covered areas. It has a wide variety of stores, from big-name brands to smaller shops, and plenty to see and do. The mall is quite large, so it’s easy to get turned around, but that just adds to the adventure of exploring everything it has to offer.
M B — Google review
This place is AMAZING! So many stores, and the food court is UNREAL!! Highlights: Shabayu is not to be missed! Texas di Brazil was expensive, but so worth it!! (The salad bar alone was with the price.) Cat Cafe: Super Cute!!
Sharolyn W — Google review
The center is major. We went to the Starbucks just outside and Hula Hatie inside. Manys shops including Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. You can't go wrong coming here to shop!

The Royal Hawaiian Center is a premier destination for upscale shopping in Honolulu, featuring over 150 high-end stores such as Kate Spade, Apple, and Ferrari. Visitors can also explore luxury retailers like Tiffany and Co, Chanel, and Vera Wang at 2100 Kalakua Avenue. The center offers an array of dining options and unique experiences including Hawaii's first Saks Fifth Avenue at the International Marketplace.
This is a nice and classy store in the heart of downtown Waikiki. They have a good slection of high end shops, special mention having an ABC store since you can find anything here and for souvenirs. This mall also have a variety of food selection from food court and special dine in, like Cheesecake Factory. I’ve been here on different seasons and I love that this mall features different theme of live shows. I went during lunar new year and they had the Lion dance show and red enevelope ceremony. They also feature other activities for kids and live music, just check their website for the schedule. They usually have it posted on several entrances of the mall. This mall is also a short walking distance to Waikiki beach; there’s a pathway to the beach, slightly across from this mall; you won’t miss it as it’s lined up with a display of surf boards. And because of its convenient location, many people love shopping here and dining then you can just walk to the beach and relax. I can’t ask for anything better than great shopping, good food and a mix cultural experience.
Ivee M — Google review
A Shopping Gem in Waikiki! Having explored shopping malls across multiple countries and continents, I was pleasantly surprised by the Royal Hawaiian Center—it truly exceeded my expectations. This expansive, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained venue offers more than just a premier shopping experience; it seamlessly blends world-class retail with diverse dining options, creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and inviting. What sets the Royal Hawaiian Center apart is its commitment to showcasing Hawaiian culture. Guests can enjoy a variety of complimentary events and workshops, immersing themselves in traditional music, dance, and artistry. One particularly unforgettable experience was witnessing a surprise marriage proposal at the conclusion of a mesmerizing hula performance—an unexpected yet heartwarming moment that highlighted the magic of this place. When it comes to dining, there is truly something for everyone. Whether you're craving a refreshing treat like those offered at Island Vintage Shave Ice or seeking a fine dining experience at Wolfgang's Steakhouse, the Center presents a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Despite being a bustling destination, the Center is well worth the visit. To make the most of your experience, I recommend checking their website in advance to explore upcoming events and attractions. Conveniently located just steps from Waikiki Beach, this shopping and cultural hub is a must-see for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Hawaii. I look forward to returning to this exceptional destination soon.
Ana B — Google review
Nice shopping area with free hula shows. Not sure if they’re on every day so check the website for more info. There’s a nice dean & DeLuca that sells Hawaii limited bags here as well.
Matthijs — Google review
This center is the hub of shopping in the area. From high-end stores and restaurants to budget-friendly fashion and cafés, there’s something for everyone. The complex is huge, with an amazing layout and beautiful gardens. Even if you’re not staying at the connecting hotel, it’s worth walking through to see what catches your eye.
Shannon B — Google review
Smart street food, love the atmosphere. The casualties feel so relax. The best place to hang out with friends. Food is excellent. I loved the toast matcha so flavorful and not sweet just perfect.
Grace W — Google review
Royal Hawaiian Center is a vibrant Waikīkī hub with 110 stores and 30 dining spots. Enjoy free hula, ukulele, and lei-making classes in the Royal Grove. Stunning views, lively cultural events, and convenient parking make it a must-visit.
Nam D — Google review
Royal Hawaiian Center (2201 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815) is a beautiful and clean shopping center in the heart of Waikiki. It offers a wide variety of shops, from luxury brands like Tory Burch and Fendi to local boutiques, along with plenty of places to buy souvenirs. The food court has many options with good prices, and there are well-known restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory as well as smaller local eateries. The atmosphere is tropical, open, and inviting, with clean washrooms and plenty of space to walk around. It’s a great place to shop, eat, and spend time with family and friends. The reason for four stars instead of five is that most of the escalators were damaged and took far too long to be fixed, which made moving between floors a bit inconvenient. Other than that, the center is well-maintained, clean, and definitely worth visiting when in Waikiki.

International Market Place, situated in the heart of Waikiki, is a renowned shopping and dining destination. The property boasts a century-old banyan tree at its center and offers an open-air setting with over 130 carts, shops, and artisan stands. Visitors can explore high-end retail stores featuring international brands like Michael Kors, Rolex, Burberry, and Christian Louboutin. Additionally, the marketplace hosts events such as live music performances and hula shows for entertainment.
Lovely place to sit and watch people go by. Nice stores even has a cat store. Lovely woodwork shop you can put together with a picture frame and lots of options. Was expensive but so worth it. Visit Coco neme
Sherri H — Google review
Many great stores. Beautiful setup inside with huge banyan trees. Top floor has some good restaurants. Comes alive at night. Just wonderful atmosphere all around.
Viet M — Google review
We went there multiple times for shopping and to see the hula show. The hula show was great. The most we could ask for. Outdoor but since it’s inside the mall it was like indoor show. Performance was great and ambiance as well. Lot of options for food and shopping. Very close to many attractions nearby including street shopping, waikiki beach…
Sharan ( — Google review
International Market Place is a must-visit shopping destination in Waikiki, blending modern retail with Hawaiian heritage. The center is beautifully designed, featuring lush greenery, water features, and open-air walkways that make shopping here feel more like an experience than a routine errand. With over 90 stores, including high-end brands and locally owned shops, visitors can find everything from designer fashion to unique Hawaiian gifts. Beyond shopping, the Grand Lānai dining area offers a diverse selection of restaurants, ranging from casual eateries to upscale dining. Whether you're craving fresh seafood, Asian cuisine, or classic American dishes, the options are plentiful. The evening ambiance is particularly enjoyable, with soft lighting and occasional live entertainment adding to the charm. One of the highlights of International Market Place is its cultural programming, including hula performances and historical exhibits that celebrate Waikiki’s rich past. While parking can be pricey, the central location and walkability make it easy to access. Whether you're shopping, dining, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this marketplace offers a memorable experience in the heart of Waikiki.
Jonathan P — Google review
Yes, it is an upscale mall but super touristy. Lots of high-end store around, cafe and restaurant that seems too commercialized. Grand interior and exterior with trees and decorations. Cafe that youtubers and influencer said you must visit is too packed and careless about customer. Material girl vibes are all over around the place. Third floor is haunted with few places mostly on the second and first floor. For me this mall like a place to take a picture and do the content than the real malls that build for everyone.
Melissa N — Google review
Nice open mall in the center of Honolulu. Very clean and some nice stores. We went here to see the cirque show and spent about an hour checking out the shops beforehand.
Matthijs — Google review
Opening hours 10 am to 9 pm Located in Honolulu near Waikiki beach. Very nice open air shopping center with over 90 shops and 9 restaurants. Parking is very very expensive
Carine — Google review
Oh, my gosh, the International Market Place in Waikiki is an absolute shopping dream, weaving history and modern charm into a total stunner! This open-air mall, born in 1956 and reborn in 2016 after a dazzling glow-up, revolves around its star: a jaw-dropping 160-year-old banyan tree that’s practically Waikiki’s wise old soul. Planted in the mid-19th century during the Hawaiian Kingdom era, this iconic tree, with its sprawling branches and tangled aerial roots, once shaded Queen Kapi‘olani’s estate and now anchors the mall’s vibrant courtyard—a living tribute to the island’s Polynesian roots and its journey into a global hotspot. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces is pure magic: lush greenery, trickling water features, and that warm Hawaiian breeze make strolling here feel like a tropical embrace. It’s so gorgeous and comfy, you’ll want to set up camp! Up on the second floor, there’s this amazing Japanese supermarket (think Daiei vibes or similar)—holy cow, it’s a shopper’s paradise! I snagged one of their bento boxes, and let me tell you, it was a flavor-packed joyride—perfectly portioned rice, savory teriyaki, and fresh sushi bits that screamed “made with love.” It’s like Japan and Hawaii had a delicious baby! Every store here bursts with local flair—Hawaiian handmade jewelry, surf gear, big names like Saks Fifth Avenue, and quirky souvenir stalls that feel like love letters to the islands. It’s not just shopping; it’s a cultural adventure dripping with aloha. Right across from the Moana Surfrider, it’s a perfect stop after a Honolulu Coffee tea or a Duke statue lei moment. Parking’s $2 per 20 minutes with validation options; hit it after noon to dodge the crowds. 95/100—epic tree history, cozy vibes, and local charm that’ll steal your heart!

The outdoor entertainment plaza hosts free weekly yoga sessions, hula performances, and concerts featuring traditional Hawaiian music. A nice walk. There are torches light up along the walk at night. There are plenty of brand name stores and interesting stands.

Waikiki Beach is a true paradise! The stunning scenery, warm weather, and gentle sea breeze create the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. I loved walking along the beach daily, taking in the breathtaking views and soaking up the sun. The beach offers plenty of opportunities for fun in the water, and swimming in the ocean was an exhilarating experience. One of the unique highlights was the majestic Ficus Benghalensis (Indian/Banyan tree) located in the beach area - it was breathtaking! What made my visit even more special was the food festival organized by SPAM on the last Saturday, featuring delicious eats and live music. Spending time on Waikiki Beach in the morning, noon, and evening made me appreciate its beauty in every light. This experience has been one of the highlights of my life, and I highly recommend Waikiki Beach to anyone looking for a tropical paradise.

Waikiki Beach Walk is one of my favorite places to chill and explore in Honolulu 🌺. The whole area is super lively — full of restaurants, cafés, shops, and live music 🎶. It’s the perfect spot for both daytime strolling and nighttime vibes. The walkway is clean, beautifully decorated, and just steps away from the beach 🏖️. You can grab a refreshing drink🥤, enjoy Hawaiian food 🍤, or shop for souvenirs 🛍️. In the evening, the lighting and atmosphere feel really magical ✨ — sometimes there’s live entertainment or hula performances that give you the true Hawaiian spirit 💃🌴. If you want a place that’s relaxing but still energetic, Waikiki Beach Walk is a must-visit. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just walking around, you’ll have a great time 💙🌊.

Waikiki Beach Walk is one of those spots where time feels like it moves a little slower—in the best way. With its mix of casual eateries, boutique shops, and live performances, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day on the sand. We particularly enjoyed grabbing a light bite and people-watching along the promenade while gentle Hawaiian music drifted through the air. The lighting at night gives the area a warm glow, making even a simple stroll feel special. What sets this stretch apart is how accessible and welcoming it is. Whether you're window shopping, hunting for souvenirs, or just soaking in the atmosphere, there's no pressure to spend big or rush. It's very family-friendly, with plenty of shaded benches and open space to just pause and enjoy. A real gem in the heart of Waikiki that manages to be both vibrant and laid back.
Jonathan P — Google review

Intimate little outdoor strip mall at the beginning of Waikiki. Mix of touristy and local stores. Nice selection of restaurants, also featuring Hawaii's only Yardhouse. I have no idea where you'd park because we always walk here, but the Royal Hawaiian Center's parking structure is just across the street.

The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is the largest open-air flea market in Hawaii, featuring over 400 vendors offering a wide range of products. Held on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the Aloha Stadium, this marketplace showcases an array of items from $1 trinkets to high-quality handmade quilts. Visitors can find everything from clothing and accessories to fine jewelry, vintage antiques, local snacks, and more.
Aloha Stadium Swap Meet Review The best time to visit is right when it opens—it's cooler, less crowded, and much easier to explore. The food trucks are definitely worth trying, offering a tasty break as you shop. If you're looking for souvenirs, this is the place to go—prices are far better than what you’ll find at hotels, resorts, or tourist shops, and the selection of local goods and handmade items is impressive. A quick tip: take your time before making a purchase. Many vendors sell similar products, and walking around a bit could save you money or help you find something even better.
Sead A — Google review
We were unsure about it but are so glad we went! Got there early on Sat AM. We like flea markets and farmer’s markets, so this was right up our alley. It took us several hours to walk the whole thing. Plenty of food options in the middle. The jewelry and clothes are SO much cheaper here than at the beach shops. I bought a shell anklet for $10 at a beach shops, then found the same one here for 5 for $10. I found lovely handmade items and got all my gifts to take back home.
Jennifer C — Google review
The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is hands down one of my favorite things I did while staying in Oahu! Open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, it’s the perfect spot to pick up affordable souvenirs, try delicious local food, and support a bunch of locally owned businesses all in one place. From handmade jewelry and aloha shirts to fresh fruit, snacks, and unique art, there’s seriously something for everyone. What makes it extra fun is the variety of things you can find while you can spend hours walking around. The prices are way better than what you’ll find in most tourist shops, and a lot of the vendors are local families or small businesses, which makes shopping here feel even more meaningful. Plus, the food is so good! I grabbed some fresh pineapple, local snacks, and even tried a few plate lunches that were super tasty. If you’re visiting Oahu and want a mix of culture, shopping, and good eats without spending a fortune, the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is a must-do. Just bring some cash, wear comfy shoes maybe an umbrella, and enjoy the laid-back vibe!
Ms S — Google review
The ticket is $2 per person, and this is a place to get cheap souvenirs. I shop here like crazy! the downside is only one food and drink in section 5 so the day I went to stadium was a hot day and I the direction I took was away from food and drink section, so I was tired and thirsty and had long walk back to buy a drink then walk back to shop me at the area that I had left. The second thing is restroom is at the stadium, so it is long walk to go to restroom either. Even lots of tent you can pay card, but cash is the king when it comes to shopping in a marketplace like this. They aren't open every day so you must check day and time they have the market.
Melissa N — Google review
The market is just okayThey have a lot of different stores. Some of them are selling the same things though. It is very hot. Make sure to bring a hat. Make sure to have cash They have $2 entry cash only. There is parking but you might have to drive around a lot
Melzy P — Google review
So many different vendors! We were limited in time but managed to find all the items on our list. Some vendors are more willing to negotiate than others. Definitely recommend 3+ hours for this to eat, drink, and shop.
Holly W — Google review
Great tourist place to find souvenirs for a decent price. We went on a Wednesday at 11am and it wasn't too busy. There were way more vendors than I was expecting!
Relyssa A — Google review
We went on a Saturday morning it's $2 per person I believe it's also Sundays and wednesdays. There is lots of parking but it gets very full and I would go first thing in the morning cuz it gets very hot. Lots of vendors many of them selling a lot of the similar things definitely can barter

Kahala Mall is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists, providing a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the bustling Waikiki area. With over 100 stores, restaurants, and services, the mall offers a diverse mix of national brands and unique local boutiques. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a well-known movie theater and Whole Foods Market.
This is a small mall in a more affluent areas. There are some gems here that keep me coming back. Across the street is Purve' donuts. I suggest you stop there first and get done fresh made donuts for dessert. Then head over to the mall. Once there you have some options. You could go to a movie. Or I'd suggest some Paniolos (it's a burrito bar type place). Perhaps some Uncle Sharkii poke bar. Then you could finish up with a little gelato at IL Gelato, it goes well with the previously mentioned donuts. But Hey!!! You can have your own adventure! Just get out there and do it. These are my kahala mall favs, yours may be different. Oh, go into some of the art stores. They are better than most museums. Above all enjoy!

Not sure what is going on with the carpet. Very retro. However, I'm assuming that's just the original look and not a specific style they are going for. I feel like there isn't enough natural light in some sections. I feel like something is missing from this mall. I cannot put my finger on it. I suppose this is a good place to visit if you have nothing to do. You would be able to spend about an hour here before wondering if there was something better to do.
Jonathan L — Google review
The mall is more upscale than it used to be with several boutiques for clothing as well as niche food offerings. Some standard offerings like Jamba / Starbucks. There were far more tourists in the mall than there were 10-15 years ago. It would likely be a safe place for kids to hang out with friends, but it's pricier than I would imagine the average teen can afford independently.

Ok, on the expensive side, needs much more ev charge stations, two is not nearly enough, see ev cars circling around them all day hoping for a charge. No solar panels on the building. Gamestop is good and the movie theaters are OK, but they got rid of the carpet and made it look like a McDonald's interior. Wholes food and taco bell are place alright to eat, and cake is.good if you wanna splurge. Need to be more green with solar and ev to help our green future success 🙌

I hardly ever come to this mall as I can find similar stores and more at Ala Moana. But this mall serves its purpose well for those who live in the area and don't want to fight the crowds and traffic. THE MALL: The enclosed mall is stuck in the 80's, décor wise. Parking is pretty limited especially near the Whole Foods side. HIGHLIGHTS: - 8 screen movie theater - Apple Store - Barnes & Noble - California Pizza Kitchen (highest grossing location in the company) - Chili's - Longs Drug - Macy's - Whole Foods (Hawaii's first location)

Lots of parking. Easy access. Enclosed and air conditioned. Opens before stores open and a great place to walk and window-shop then go into shops when they open. One circuit around is about a half mile. Nice selection of restaurants and drink places as well as stores. Festive seasonal decorations very pretty. Visit Santa!

Convenient, indoors. Diversity of stores and place to eat. Easy to navigate. Cool and convenient for Holiday shopping! 6/16/22 CPK on one wing is a nice place to hang if you wanna grab a quick bite, do a little errand shopping, and enjoy some a/c. I like the diversity of shops and being able to do it at a leisurely pace. You can spend a whole day here, literally. Very convenient. 🤙✌️ 3/2023 Definitely, some new stores replaced old ones. Still a good place to shop, meet for lunch, catch a movie, and even get a workout in. 🙂🤙✌️

Pearlridge Center is a massive shopping destination in Aiea, Hawaii, featuring over 170 shops, eateries, and services. Divided into two main areas - Pearlridge Uptown and Pearlridge Downtown - the center is connected by Oahu's only monorail system. Visitors can explore a wide range of stores including popular brands like Victoria's Secret and GAP, as well as unique local boutiques.
Christmas season kid train ride is an old traditional fun activity here in this mall. It’s not free but it is similar to the regular places where the decor is really nice. There is Starbucks, Jamba Juice, cookie corner, pretzel place, much more food places in this first building but you can take the mini transport for $3 or less to go to the other building.
Veronica — Google review
This mall has a lot of nostalgia for me. I grew up in Aiea and always spent time with family and friends here. I love the restaurants here, both the sit-in and the food court tenants are great with a variety of choices. I like that there are events here as well, like the monthly collectibles show, the great craft shows, the farmer's market, the night market, and HI Collector's bi-annual collectibles show. There are a lot of things to do here.

Love Pearl Ridge! So much great shopping! The tram between malls often isn’t running any more however. Great place to get delicious popcorn! Has a great food court and even a little bar that serves Sangria flights! Not as hectic as Ala Moana and you don’t have to fight traffic!
Lindsay B — Google review
It's a nice local mall compared to Ala Moana that's just full of tourists. Has quite a few shops and restaurants both in uptown and downtown. Would recommend coming on a weekday for less crowds because on weekends, it's almost impossible to find a parking space.
Ahri S — Google review
I'd probably patronize this mall more if it weren't for the fact that it's 2 separate buildings separated by a good 5-10 minute walk, that is not pedestrian friendly. There is the monorail that goes back and forth, but who wants to stand in line and wait to be mass-transited over to the other building? Selection of stores is similar to other average malls across the US, so there's nothing really spectacular here. Two positive things is that the mall is clean and enclosed, the latter part not being important to me. The reason for coming to this mall was for CPK takeout on our way to the airport after shopping at Waikele Outlets. OVERALL: Nice mall to serve the west & central areas of Oahu. Being from Maui, I'd rather shop at Ala Moana which offers the same stores plus a whole lot more, and it's closer to Waikiki where we normally stay.
Maui T — Google review
There is never enough parking around uptown. I don't know why you always block off that corner of the lot where you do village market because it's never busy even when you do food vendors there. Open it up for parking. Put village market near or in one of the parking structures. I'm a regular customer at one of the restaurants in the main building because I cater for a bunch of events. the restaurant is great but the parking here sucks really badly and I'm thinking about choosing a different option or location. I've tried to just pull up to the curb since it's just usually a quick errand to pay and pick up the food but your security guards don't like that either. Also consider 15 minute parking for Uber or those of us that are just picking up stuff.
Heather — Google review
I still haven't made it there but looking forward to it. All the stores I want are there. My boyfriend went and the directory really helped because he uses his bus pass and bike so we figured out the best place to lock up his bike to be close to the Lids store
Mendy V — Google review
Your mall is cool but is it cool enough to have it’s own train running between buildings? Okay, so it’s a slow roller train and you can walk faster between the buildings, and it costs a buck each way, but if you don’t want to leave air conditioning, it’s the way to go. The mall does have a lot to offer from your normal run of the mill mall stores like Hot Topic, Boxlunch, Victoria’s Secret, Macy’s…etc. Along with that, you’ll find unique/local shops and eats. All-in-all, this is a good place to shop but when it’s busy, it gets packed so just be prepared for that, especially around holidays and weekends.

It offers a diverse range of experiences, from world-class eateries like Merrimans Honolulu and Nobu Honolulu to luxurious condominium complexes such as Waiea and Anaha. The area also features the Ward Village Shops, a sprawling shopping complex with over 130 stores, 40 eateries, and a 16-screen movie theater spread across four separate venues within walking distance of each other.
9/2022 All encompassing area. Lots of shopping, eating and browsing can be done. A few new restaurants in the area which we liked. A couple restaurants from Japan also in the area which was surprising and nice to see. One happens to be the most popular in the Shibuya area of Japan. Nearby entertainment and dining for the kids too. Mice area to spend part if your day and evening like we did. Check my individual restaurant reviews for more info on where we've eaten so far in the area. ✌️

I love this place. Not only is it beautiful but it also is enjoyable to just walk thru. I especially LOVE the Ward Village courtyard!! You know when times are hard and you need a family event, WVC IS THE SPOT!! So far I took my ohana to the HOKULE'A talk story event, a movie-dirty dancing & waiting on a few more events to attend. John Mizo movie/documentary & Aunty Mel for her beautiful singing w/ another group added on. But the BEST PART IS... it's FREE thru Eventbrite. You must register to get seatings. Idk if you could just pop in, BUT I'd suggest for EVERYONE TO DO SO. Believe me... it's worth it. Mahalo to WARD VILLAGE COURTYARD. He place is beautiful & the hosts are very kind too. I'm sharing the photos so the public can see the beautiful structure & contents in this place.

Visitors can enjoy a relaxed vibe away from the hustle and bustle of other shopping areas on the island.
Such a great mall for the family. They always have things for the kids. The food courts got all the options I want and it's wide and spacious. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I'm 43 years old now and I still come back
Jean-Paul G — Google review
Windward Mall is a solid two-story shopping center with a good mix of stores that makes it easy to find what you need, whether you’re browsing or running errands. The food court has a surprisingly nice variety of options—plenty to satisfy different cravings without feeling repetitive. It's not the biggest mall on the island, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has a laid-back vibe that fits well with the Windward side of Oʻahu. Great for a casual day out or a quick stop to grab essentials.
Jess E — Google review
It's definitely been a while since I've been to Winward Mall. Usually, I'm stuck in town and stick to places like Kahala mall or Ala Moana. Today, my dad and I were planning on getting together and wanted to get some zucchini from hotdog on a stick, which is located in the mall. So that's what drew us to this side of the island. First things first, there is a decent amount of construction, and the mall has definitely gotten a well needed facelift since the last time I was here. So that's a huge plus. The only thing that that's a little hard is that parking is limited because of all the construction going on. Also, to no fault of the mall, we were definitely a little bummed when we got to the food court, and figured out that hot dog stick was closed because of distribution chain issues. Luckily, there are still a ton of good places to eat out in the mall I guess it really has been a long time since I've last been here because there are literally a ton of new places that I haven't even heard of before. There's a fun factory next to the old pet store, the bakery got replaced by a salad shop, there's a ton of local/small businesses focused on Island themed attire, and their are still my go to spots like the Gyu Kaku or H&T burgers. If you're on the fence spot visiting this mall, don't be. There's something for everyone to try and do here. I don't know if I'd regularly make the truck all the way from town just because I'm not really a fan of driving. But if I'm already in the area, I don't see a reason why I wouldn't stop by.
Zakary K — Google review

Overall, I was pretty impressed with this mall. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. I felt like I was back in the 90's.. I haven't seen a mall so alive in so long! I was impressed by the large amount of local stores and vendors they had here and the food court is awesome.
T A — Google review
There's a couple gems at winward mall that keeps it thriving and it's pretty nice for us on this side (not as much foot traffic). Probably the least busiest/ least entertaining mall on island, but super chill and nice to just stroll through sometime. Food places come and go in the food court and not very many options to choose from. Visit on Wednesday/Saturday for the local farmers market!

What an awesome weekend to be able to see a YouTuber (Raina) whom I’ve watched on YouTube. Raina was there to be in a hamburger eating contest hosted by Oh Me Grill at the McCully Shopping Center. There was a total of 9 participants including Raina. Of course, she won the eating contest. Raina ate 10 hamburgers in 5 minutes. Each participant receive a $20 gift card per hamburger eaten which was pretty good. Raina was the with Lovely Mimi whom brought the crowd to live with all her energy. After the contest, we got to take pictures with Raina and Lovely Mimi. I was able to have them autograph hubby’s hat since he could not make it. They were giving away signed tote bag and stickers to the first 100 people.

I just went to Oh My Grill, and that's always my favorite place to go. Parking sucks, I saw 2 road ragers a person took too long to reverse, and the other car just took the stall, and by the time the 1st person realized while still slowly reversing that some one had the stall she blocked the car and got out meaning we were all blocked so maneuvered out through the Do not enter by 7 Eleven.

There is so much to do, and, shop and eat. We were a bit disappointed that we were not closer to the beach. We found a place with garlic shrimp that was amazing. It was a fun four hours. We don't know Thai dishes that well, but based on taste, the chicken was ground or chopped small and served with fresh mint lettuce and cabbage leaves for wrapping around the chicken meat. This ground chicken looked like ground pork. That dish was a tad salty. Adding the chopped peanuts helped offset the saltiness. The soy sauce on the flat noodles was a little dry and flavors became concentrated and salty as well. Perhaps that's purposely done, but I don't know. The egg plant dish with tofu, bell peppers, was done well and tasty. We also ordered a small bowl of rice, which went well with the egg plant dish sauce

The manager and employees are all very kind and helpful. I suggest shopping in off hours and avoiding the rush of Honolulu and the busy hours but the cashier's are fast and usually take care of the lines quickly. My only complaint is that it's a union job and minimum wage but that's from being from an employees pov not a shopper so no stats deducted especially bc of how clean they keep it and how well the staff treats customers.

The shallow water area is protected by a reef barrier and provides opportunities for snorkeling along the submerged rocks. The park is easily accessible in Honolulu with ample parking and good amenities.
The sunsets here are gorgeous. There are always beautiful people in the park doing some beautiful things like “bubbly therapy” or “dancing as the sun sets”. It’s a great place to run and place for kids. Locals are always around and it makes it an integrative experience. I did Tai Chai one morning. The view of Diamond Head is sweet and the hotel strip. It’s a pretty chill beach and wonderful place to just hang and have some fun in the sun or after sunset.

Our main purpose when we came here was to watch the Friday fireworks. This park is big and has nice views of the city. It’s also a great place to relax, hang out, read a book and walking or jogging It’s a great place for kids to play in the playground or run around. It’s has plenty of parking too and it’s also free but keep in mind that it gets busy during special events like the fireworks. Best to get there early. I recommend bringing picnic blankets and chair if you’re going to hang out for a bit. We were there a couple of hours before the fireworks mainly to get a good spot and get a good view. We brought some food and enjoyed an early dinner. Overall a nice park however just be aware of your surroundings as we’ve seen people with carts and tents on the other side. The public washroom wasn’t as great either, not well maintained but I guess it’s just like any other public park.

Its a beautiful and large park with public access to the beach tough. There are enough slots to park , many people walking, surfing or just sharing a barbeque on the large extension of grass with many big trees shadowing. I was in the second week of June and the only "but" was the incredible amount of flies around.
ALFRED C — Google review
I feel like this is a hidden gem in Oahu. The view is so beautiful here and the park was mostly empty when we went. We didn't go far into the park so we can't attest to the quality of the beach. But the grassy area was gorgeous enough.

I just wanted to give you all a couple of tips, hope it helps. *There is a separate line for military members which is MUCH shorter. *Bring a beach chair or towel to sit on while you wait for your lantern. *Bring an umbrella or hat for sun protection, sun block, and water. * There is parking at Ala Moana center. * Bring a lighter, the grill ones work best to light the lantern. We pick up our lantern, take it home to write our messages and then come back for the ceremony. Some people prefer to stay all day and enjoy the beach park 🏖🌴

One of my favorite places to be on the island. It is such a beautiful and lively park, great for taking pictures, walking, picknicking, sports,,, everything. You can even catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise. It is next to ala Moana so you can grab a treat or go shopping as well. Me and my husband recently even carved pumpkins there lol. You can do anything.

Magic Island, located between Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, is a hidden gem often overlooked by tourists and locals alike. This artificial peninsula offers a beautiful beach area, grassy spaces, and stunning sunset views. It's a peaceful spot for kids to swim with lagoons that are less crowded than nearby beaches. The park also provides walking and running paths leading to the lagoon, making it an ideal place for families.
One of my favorite places when I go into town. The sunset here is gorgeous. Great for running, walking, relaxing, whatever. Also close to tons of great food spots. Marugame Udon, Little G’s cafe.

The most beautiful seaside park that I have ever seen. Great views of ocean, Honolulu skyline, beautiful sandy beach, lagoon, trees, birds, free parking lots, trails, and public benches to relax and enjoy the shade and nature.

A lovely spot for a swim and sunshine. Not as busy as other Waikiki beaches which is nice. Good beach and lots of grass and tress for shade.

Beautiful place to watch the Friday Fireworks while having a mini picnic session. Parking may be hard to find during Friday evening; so, I recommend parking in Ala Moana Parking Lot and walking 15 minutes.

Magic Island is a fun spot to visit in Honolulu because there’s always something going on - people BBQing, couples taking engagement photos, kids playing, runners, hammock loungers… it’s a vibe. I ran a 5K here and loved it since the path is flat and easy. The sunsets are unreal (think fiery pinks and oranges). Just a heads up though that the park closes at night, so make sure to read the car signs so that your car doesn’t get towed!

I used to love this park and always thought it was one of the cleanest and most beautiful places in the area. But when I came back recently, I was shocked—it’s completely ruined. The park is now filled with tents set up by the homeless, surrounded by piles of trash. The ground is damaged, the grass is destroyed, and litter is scattered everywhere across the lawn. It’s clear that this place has been completely abandoned and left without any care or responsibility from those who are supposed to manage it. Anyone who visits now would be stunned at how badly this park has been neglected and how far it has fallen.

Aloha Tower Marketplace is a waterfront mall in Honolulu, featuring a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The marketplace is centered around the iconic Aloha Tower, an 18-story building with a rich history as a lighthouse and control center during World War II. Visitors can access the observation deck at Aloha Tower for stunning panoramic views of Honolulu Harbor, the downtown skyline, and the surrounding areas.
3.5 Stars – Disappointed About the Tower Closure, But Still a Scenic Stop We visited the Aloha Tower Marketplace early in the morning, excited to go up the iconic Aloha Tower—only to find out it’s closed for long-overdue renovations and will be for the next 2 years. That was definitely a disappointment, especially since we had planned around the visit. That said, the area still has its charm. There are some great photo opportunities around the harbor, and you can take in beautiful views of the Honolulu Harbor, the Coast Guard ships, and the Spirit of Honolulu cruise docked nearby. While we couldn’t go up the Tower itself, we still enjoyed walking around the area and taking in the peaceful morning harbor views. Overall, it’s still a nice spot to explore, even if the main attraction is temporarily unavailable. Tip: Check ahead for updates on the tower reopening—but don’t skip the area altogether. It’s a relaxing and scenic part of Honolulu worth strolling through.

Used to be a lot better before HPU moved in. Now everything is for the university, theres no more shops, and the few restaurants left revolve around the students' schedule. Mexilulu is ok as the only major restaurant left on the waterfront that's open all day. The daily (except saturday) Luau is decent. Parking is paid and pretty cheap considering.

This was a beautiful surprise, the tower and the ambiance. After going out into Port I came back for the ship and ventured out a bit. The guy at the surf shop allowed me to fill my water bottle, he must have thought I hadn't drank water in days. After refilling and finishing my bottle 3 times, I layed $5. On the counter. He said he couldn't take the money. I said "God bless you, I really needed ice cold water" and walked away, as he continued to thank me. Thank you to generous people 💖🚢

Neat marketplace. Aloha Tower is free to go up, gives a good view of the harbor and town. Some restaurants in the marketplace but it is primarily a university now. Parking can be tight, it is also pay to park.

We did The Star of Honolulu Cruise. My girl was in town visiting from the mainland and she booked this for us. 5⭐ experience all the way around. We made reservations for the very top deck, HIGHLY recommended, worth the price. The complimentary drinks, the food, dessert, the live music, not to mention the MAJESTIC VIEWS, the picturesque views, the sunset and the fireworks!!!!! A definite MUST, in fact my girl and I will do this again the next time she visits. Great, great, great time!!!

Foodland Farms Ala Moana is a local supermarket chain in Hawaii that offers a wide variety of Hawaiian specialties, general groceries, and fresh produce. One of its standout features is the never-fail poke, a dish of simply seasoned cubed fish that comes in various flavors and styles. Each Foodland location has its own unique poke recipes, with the corporate chef constantly creating new variations based on current trends. The supermarket also offers fresh sushi, salads, and an excellent selection of fresh fruits.
Foodland Farms Ala Moana is a foodie’s dream! Fresh local produce, gourmet selections, and a top-tier poke bar. It’s where island flavor meets modern flair. Clean, friendly, and full of aloha spirit! They have fresh longans there and a bar in the middle as well. Pizzas look delicious but we had just had our meals in the food court. 😎

To stretch our travel budget further during our Honolulu trip, my wife and I shopped at Foodland Farms at Ala Moana Center, just a 20-minute walk from our Waikiki hotel, and it was a total lifesaver! Hawaii's dining scene can be pricey, and eating at fancy restaurants daily just wasn't doable. This place is perfect for travelers like us, offering a variety of delicious cooked foods and sushi for affordable takeout lunches or dinners. The vibe is super welcoming, with friendly staff handing out samples, and we were thrilled to discover their Sunday buffet inside the market--a fun way to taste new flavors. The poke bar is a real treat here, with so many fresh varieties to choose from. We couldn't get enough of the spicy California poke--mixed with rice, it's a flavorful, filling meal that's as satisfying as anything from a high-end spot. The spice level was just right, and the freshness made every bite amazing. Beyond poke, they've got a solid lineup of other cooked dishes and sushi, so there's always something to suit your mood, whether you're eating in their cozy dining area or grabbing food to go. What sealed the deal for us was their selection of fresh tropical fruits and desserts--think sweet pineapples, ripe papayas, and indulgent macadamia nut treats that added a perfect island touch to our meals. The prices are wallet-friendly for Hawaii, especially compared to touristy restaurants, and the quality never disappoints. Foodland Farms made eating well in Waikiki so easy and affordable--huge thanks for keeping our trip delicious and budget-friendly!

Opening hours are 6 am to 10 pm. Located in the ground parking area of ala Moana shopping center. A large food market with lots of ready made dishes. Pizzas. Salad bar. Poke bar. Sushi. Asian dishes. Sandwiches. Bakery. The food area looks very good and all is fresh. But the ready made dishes that we tried were all average and disappointing.

Asian-themed grocery store with an incredible poke bar—seriously so many fresh options to choose from! It’s clearly a local favorite because there were at least 30 people in line ahead of me, and even more coming in after. Pro tip: grab a ticket right away. The line moves pretty quickly, so no need to panic. Totally worth the wait!

Ok, this place is amazing. Unbelievably good! I could go everyday and get something different. I did make several trips and carried a lot of different food. My favorites were the poke and the bakery. The staff are excellent, helped me out to initially during checkout. Check this place out.

Absolute madness at the poke bar for GOOD reason. We live in Waikiki and walk to Foodland Farms at least once or twice a week. It’s good exercise, family fun, and a new adventure every time. We spend about $40 and eat the most delicious food for a family of 4.

High hope on poke was ruin by the staff at the section. They are well known for fresh poke, and I was the one that wait for long line which I understand. There were 2 people working at the poke one was a lady and she took care of customers very well when was my turn I got the robot guy that didn't helpful at all. No answer any questions and rush me to choose the type of fish. I ended up didn't get what I really and order too much food than I expected to eat. Yes, poke is fresh but dealing unfriendly staff just turn me off.

Ward Warehouse, located in the Kakaako district of Honolulu, is a unique shopping area that offers an eclectic mix of eateries, retail stores, and event venues. It has been a favorite spot for many with its original shops and aloha vibe. However, it is unfortunate that this beloved mini mall is set to be demolished to make way for luxury condos. Visitors have enjoyed the variety of shops and dining options at Ward Warehouse but are saddened by its impending closure.

Koko Marina Center is a charming shopping destination located in East Honolulu, close to the famous Hanauma Bay. The center caters to water sports enthusiasts with its dive shop, snorkel shop, and specialty stores offering parasailing and waterskiing experiences. Visitors can also explore unique boutiques selling beachwear, surf gear, pet accessories, and home decor. Additionally, the center features an eight-screen movie theater where locals and tourists gather for outdoor screenings under the stars.
People confuse this shopping center with the Hawaii Kai one across the Marina - this one has the theater, Zippy’s, Walgreens, Petco, Kona Brewing, etc. On the eastern side of the center, there’s a Taco Bell and Straub Clinic on the top floor of a two story parking garage. They recently started having a monthly sidewalk sale with vendors from around the island, and you find all kinds of cool food, jewelry, crafts, toys and more. The sale takes place on the 3rd Saturday or the month, from 10 am-3pm. There’s plenty of parking, even with the sidewalk sale taking up some areas of the parking garage. Aside from the sale, the center is home to terrific small businesses and services. Because of its proximity to Hanauma Bay, weekends get busy with tourists coming for meals at Moena Cafe, Teddy’s, Fat Boy’s, Kona Brewing and more. It’s a great neighborhood center for locals and a destination retail location for visitors.
Therese H — Google review
Koko Marina has a strangely designed parking area with long curbed peninsulas that extend way out into the traffic lanes in ways that are hard to see from the driver's perspective. The result is that many drivers inadvertently drive over these curbs and damage the underside of their cars. this is evident by the extreme damage that one can see to the curbs themselves. Koko Marina has obviously recognized this design flaw and the danger that it poses to vehicles since they try to routinely position pilons on the ends of these peninsulas so that drivers don't hit them. One one occasion, the staff apparently failed to properly position the pilons and I damaged my car by turning over the curb-peninsula where my car bottomed-out. I suggested that Koko Marina was at least partially responsible for the damage to my car since they had not marked the hazard with the pilon as they normally do. They declined to accept any financial responsibility and simply non-responded to my last two emails. The Management and/or ownership of Koko Marina in my experience is unwilling to take responsibility for themselves as I believe they should.

There are local craft vendors every 3rd Saturday of the month. There are regular booths that I peruse for items. I go to pick up treats from Poi Dog treats and local hand crafted gifts for friends on the mainland. I find necklaces and earrings at Chelsea Lei made of wax(?) local flowers. I've been purchasing comfortable muumuu and tops from B.G. Russo for years. She had a new lovely ulu printed fabric today. So I purchased 2 muumuu. I always look for Kualapu'u Hot Soy sauce. My office staff and family like the chili kick in the shoyu. You can find Labubu and Lafufus too. During the holidays you will see lots of vendors with beautiful handcrafted items. Last Christmas I purchased lovely ornaments and vases from a Hawaii Kai pottery group. There are also lots of places to buy something to eat after all that shopping. I like Kim's Korean BBQ place. Their banchan selection is large and the food is tasty and reasonable. You’ll also find a Leonards malasadas truck so you don't have to fight the tourist crowd on Kapahulu. So make sure to take a trip out to Koko Marina on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 am to 2 pm.

A nice marina with lots of eateries and shops. We visited and bought food from Teddy's Bigger Burger and Leonard's Bakery Wagon 3 after walking downhill from Hanauma Bay. There is also Zippy's restaurant, but we did not order any food. We waited at the bus stop to take The Bus 1L back to Waikiki. This bus stop is also the last or closest stop to Hanauma Bay, although you will need to walk uphill for about 23 minutes, as the bus no longer stops at Hanauma Bay.

Nestled within the vibrant Ward Village complex, South Shore Market is a delightful destination that perfectly blends shopping and relaxation. Just a stone's throw from Ala Moana Park and beach, this medium-sized market boasts an array of designer boutiques showcasing locally crafted fashion and unique merchandise. It’s an insider’s paradise for those looking to support emerging Hawaiian brands while enjoying a modern atmosphere.
It’s a nice, clean place to hangout with friends and their dogs. There are tables and benches along the walkway outside and inside the A/C common area. Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx are the anchor stores for several boutiques and eating places. The stores are also pet-friendly. Parking in the multi-level structure is free, but it gets full.
Ali K — Google review
I thought South Shore Market was an actual supermarket until today. According to my friend, this building was supposed to be a Whole Foods Market, but the discovery of human remains during construction delayed the project, so Whole Foods built at another location a block away. The building was completed regardless. THE MARKET: The end result is a mini indoor mall that is occupied by about 20 locally-owned shops and eateries, a segment that'll never get old in this vibrant, foodie city. There is a small section of communal tables & chairs inside, along with a few outdoor ones, but they're unprotected from the elements. PARKING: A small garage provides complimentary parking, shared with nearby businesses. EXPERIENCE: Our friend wanted to check out one of the clothing stores here, so we followed suit. I was happy to see that a biz I had bookmarked for a while, Lucy's Lab Creamery, was here too, so I finally got to try them (but has since closed). The facilities are clean and well-maintained. OVERALL: An excellent use of space that was divided up to bring in more businesses to the area.

A medium-sized market of boutiques and some essentials (food, coffee and grocery!). There are also places to plop down alone or with groups. Remote workers/students: + Free parking structure (can get packed) + Free WiFi + Places to work/study + Modern, open, clean atmosphere - Moderate noise level - Outlets limited; there's a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf with public outlets.

Amazing place for nice deals! Highly recommended if you are into hight end brands. 😉
Terismikilis H — Google review
Definitely more upscale in feel and Millennial in vibe than any other mall in a reasonable radius, besting Ala Moana in its upscale and comfortable feel. Why? Yeah, the usual TJ Maxx but better maintained, and no Chanel/Ferragamo/Apple, but: -beautiful living walls -clean community tables -covered outdoor tables with views -clean water features -WiFi that works -electrical outlets/charging stations near tables -climate control (TIP: sit at the table near Big Bad Wolf; there are two outlets in the floor. Or sit at the community table by the large indoor mural and there are many outlets in the pillar. Or sit in Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for outlets. Or at the entrance for the parking structure, near the living wall, there are also outlets there & usually a table there; sometimes it is moved to care for the living wall.) -local rotating art installations (thank you, Pow! Wow! & Big Bad Wolf) -emphasis on Native Hawaiian-owned businesses & goods -a gourmet hand-mixed ice cream shop that quietly donates a part of its proceeds to support cancer research (Lucy's Lab? Yep, Lucy is the founder's family member. Ask them about it.) -curated boutiques by small local companies, local coffee shops -local-owned restaurants (Scratch! Yes, you guys!) -health food bars that sell locally-produced goods (Shaka Tea from the Big Island at Nalu!), reducing your carbon footprint, helping you live longer, and supporting your friendly neighborhood farmer all at once! For the old school folks looking to grab and go, there is also Holo Holo Market selling Foodland poke bowls at the same Foodland prices (right next to the Coffee Bean, another Foodland company) with bento and musubi also at VERY reasonable prices ($7 poke bowls; $2.19 musubi, $2-5 large Deli sandwiches, $6-8 full-size bento, $1-3 gourmet large can drinks, etc.) for this location. Super clean bathrooms with hard-working folks turning the room over regularly. Water fountains with water bottle adjustments so you can fit your entire water bottle under there, with a filter indicator. Ground floor parking has Reserved stalls for electric vehicle users with chargers. Love this! Ample handicapped parking. Free covered parking that is monitored closely by security. Do not be surprised if they chalk your tires to ensure that you are there to shop and not just homesteading or a nearby condo resident using the facility is parking. I like that actually - - no break-ins and no cars left there for weeks. Stairwells are clearly marked, and frequently used. Stairwells are clean and well-lighted. Several elevators--a set by parking & another on building itself. The large elevators, especially those on the building itself, are a joy for disabled/mobility-impaired folks or strollers. No squeezing and feeling super awkward if you have a double stroller! Excellent! Family-friendly, low-drama. Everyone from safety-shirt guys to college students to retiree tourists to yoga folks with mats to young families all strollered up. Something for everyone, and a favorite place of ours.

Infrequently frequent this establishment, but enticed by the captivating decor and distinct merchandise. Enjoyed leisurely perusing without making purchases and was approached by friendly staff. Especially impressed with the children's section and its variety. Eager for future grandchildren to spoil with lavish gifts from here. No waiting in lines, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Despite high prices, this store offers appealing options for those who have it all.
Love eating at Mariposa, the bread served with sweet butter is always a treat and the lobster BLT and seafood curry are favorites. It’s always super busy yet fun and upbeat with great service. The third floor is heaven, pure heaven with upscale confectionary and formal and trendy tableware and household items. Today I went into Neiman Marcus, and I was just browsing, I always like to window shop here, but can’t afford much of the stuff in the store. I’m usually under the impression in these kind of stores that because I can’t afford most of the stuff and I appear to be younger that I won’t be treated very nicely however that couldn’t be further from the truth, Andi I’m the fragrance/watch department was so incredibly kind and engaging Indefinitely made me want to be a future, Neiman Marcus customer as soon as I’m able to afford it. This kind of attitude towards anger shoppers should be implemented in order to drive the next generation of shoppers and Andi really well represented the company.

I wandered around the store for 20 mins without being greeted by anyone. I asked 2 different individuals where I could find customer service and was redirected to various locations. I came in to get a shoe repair and was told I could go up to any register for assistance and there was not one rep by any register. My red bottom sole started peeling off and it was a pain to get any consistent assistance via phone or in person. A fantastic wedding anniversary gift meal! Started with the ample and well executed popovers with consomme. I will say as a fine dining experience the waiter said broth where the menu says consumme, it definitely was chicken broth and not consomme, from my experience in the culinary arts :) regardless the popover was delicious and accompanied by slightly sweetened guava butter. Next up was the 3 cheese board. We selected a blue, brie and manchego. It was accompanied by fruit past gels, candied nuts, crackers and slices strawberry. All pleasant and fresh. The manchego was about 6 months or less aged, the brie was creamy and had no acidity or bite so perhaps double creme or triple and the blue was not too pungent. All tasted delicious and the portions were quite large. My wife had the Atlantic salmon with salad and it was cooked just below mid rare which is exactly how fine dining should serve salmon, allowing it to finish in the resting period prior to service. It was fresh, seasoning vibrant and just fell apart with slight fork pressure. I had the grassfed wagyu burger rare and it was cooked and seasoned exactly as it should be. The portion, generous and the build of the burger correct. Toasted bun, aioli, lettuce tomatoes onion cheese burger lettuce aioli bun. They kindly brought out a small burnt creme dessert with a candle. It too was delicious. I always reccomend friends and family try Mariposas. It's fine dining feel with out fine dining prices compared to Alan Wongs.

Macy's is a well-known department store chain offering a wide range of brand-name clothing, accessories, home furnishings, and housewares. It is a popular shopping destination with various other stores and dining options available. Customers often find good deals on items like blazers and outfits for trips, as well as competitive prices on shoes, belts, kitchen gadgets, and electronics. The store also offers an extensive collection of Christmas decorations.
On our vacation in Honolulu, my wife and I visited this shopping center. They have some quality products at affordable prices. Big shout out to all the staff working in here day in day out to serve the public, making sure our needs are met. I was particularly impressed with the organization of the mall, they have parking at almost each floor. Also the fact they have restrooms at most of the floors was amazing to me. Black Friday Sale is AMAZING! 15% 25% 40% 50% 60% and even over 70% in the "Last Act" section. I'm a fan. I visit this store every time I get to Honolulu. Quality gear at great prices at the best of times. Unreal prices @ Black Friday !!! The credit card took a hit. But the savings was double the cost! Edit: My Fav store is still going strong.

2 good things about my shopping 25 April: 1) I found the jackets I couldn't buy last week -Yeah!! 2) the cashier who rang me up, REALLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, when I asked for the long plastic bag for my new items. I'm in the process of moving & I wanted my new jackets protected from the dust, etc. Seeking to provide good customer service she ended up going all the way to the back of the store to provide me what I asked for. Please acknowledge her commitment to exceptional customer service. I sensed I was not the first person she made such an effort for. She's a value to your organization. I sense she can handle more responsibilities and a promotion. I'm glad she works at the Ala Moana location where you consistently have a variety of local and out of Hawaii customers. She is definitely one of your assets. Thank you!

Traffic for such a small shopping center gets to be so ridiculously congested. I guess the security here isn't allowed to direct traffic or even leave the security office because every time I ever come here, security is in their office looking at their phones.

The place is small and compact. All the stores are situated on the edge of a square like complex with the parking lot and driveway in the middle. There's Starbucks, Mcdonald's, Times Supermarket, some Asian restaurants, Long's, and a GameStop. A great place to just quickly shop and go.

The Hawaiʻi Kai Towne Center is a large retail center in Honolulu that has everything you need, including Costco, CVS, Ross, Burger King, and Starbucks. There are also plenty of fast food options as well as coffee shops and sushi restaurants. The mall is located off Keahole Street and is one of the main shopping areas in Honolulu.
Has Ross and Costco so is a very busy plaza. However there were benches to sit and take a minute to enjoy the view. Has also restaurants and other stores. We visited Ross for their unbeatable bargains. Parking is definitely tough especially on the weekend.

It’s cool overall, nothing major to complain about. I can spend all day going around checking out different shops and restaurants. The only real issue I’d point out is the parking — I genuinely think everybody in Hawai‘i Kai forgot how to park. Most cars end up double parked, and some even got three wheels in one stall and the fourth wheel creeping into the next spot.
William P — Google review
Has a Costco and City Mill. Not much of interest to tourists. If going there by bus from town, take the 1, 1L, or 23. To get back to town via bus, you have to wait at the Kiss and Ride transit center across the street.

Parking available if you park further away from the shops. Been coming here to shop at foodland and eat at Pieology. Gets really busy here after work during dinner time. Flower section at foodland was being replenished that day. Picked up some baby arugala to eat with pizza. Line got really long when ordering pizza.

4 stars simply because you have a Costco, a City Mill, and a handful of places to get a quick but diverse bite to eat! 🤙✌ 12/2022 I had to point this out, but wouldn't you know, I was a few steps too late. The Tuxedo Mousse Cake absotively rocks - period! By the time I thought about mentioning it in a review, it was almost gone. For the price, value, taste, and how much it can feed (my estimate is up to 12 pax), it is an awesome idea to bring to a party or serve for dessert. Do it, do it now, and you don't even need an occasion. Btw, for this sole reason, I've bumped this store up to 5 stars. 😃🤙✌️

Market City Shopping Center is a modest strip mall in Honolulu that showcases mostly independent stores and service providers. This shopping center is popular for dining out and shopping, with special deals and more.
Parking can be a deterrent at Market City. It’s well-worth the wait for a stall. My favorites are Mezzo Bistro and Bar-local fusion, Yi Xin Cafe- Malaysian/Asian flair, Win Spuntino -Italian mix, Cafe Kaila -breakfast and lunch offerings, Fujiokas for drinks & Foodland market if you just want to impress your family with your own cooking at home! It’s so convenient to make your choices or choose another if the eateries are full.

Several places I go to like FOODLAND Supermarket, Walgreens, Ben Franklin, the L&L is AWESOME. Lots of eateries and even a self storage place. Location is easy to find on corner of Kapiolani & Hayden. Parking is scarce thou depending on time you visit. Walgreens has a lower street entrance by Ben Franklin. Able to enter this marketplace from KAIMUKI High School, by Walgreens or FOODLAND. Best time to go FOODLAND be after dinner or early mornings.

The statistic revealing that 90% of individuals fail their driving test prompts a thoughtful discussion regarding the overall effectiveness and fairness of the testing process. It is vital to explore whether the current standards may be excessively challenging, contributing to such a high failure rate, or if other factors might inadvertently affect outcomes. It is paramount to ensure that the primary goal of driving assessments is to enhance road safety. Maintaining a transparent and fair testing process not only fosters public confidence but also supports the development of competent and safe drivers. Engaging in open dialogue about these concerns can lead to improvements that benefit all stakeholders.

Foodland at the Square is another solid spot — the poke here is fiyah 🔥, and the aunties and uncles behind the counter always take care of you, anytime, any day. The parking? Not too bad, honestly. Pretty manageable compared to other spots. Honestly, the only two places I really hit up over there are Foodland and Gina’s BBQ — and Gina’s is another straight 5-star from me. If you’re in the area and want good food, solid service, and a chill shopping experience, Foodland at the Square definitely holds it down.

I love absolutely everything about Nordstrom! The smell when you walk in, the Voluspa candles (they always have new scents for the best price), the cafe on the second floor, which has AMAZING coffee options, snacks and pastries and of course Ruscello, on the 3rd floor. Views are breathtaking, the appetizers and salads are very tasty too. Highly recommended making reservations via phone call or through Open Table- sometimes the restaurant is absolutely packed.

I don’t often leave reviews — but after our experience with Cathy, I genuinely felt compelled to. My wife and I are currently expecting our first child, and as you can imagine, this is a season in life where clear information, trust, and ease of process mean everything. Cathy not only understood that — she embodied it from the moment we connected. From start to finish, Cathy guided us through every step with such a level of professionalism, empathy, and calm confidence that it immediately put us at ease. She didn’t just do her job — she anticipated our questions, explained everything thoroughly, and treated our time and concerns with respect. My wife even said, “I’m so glad she’s the one helping us” — and that’s not something we say lightly. In today’s world, it’s rare to meet someone who blends product knowledge, emotional intelligence, and genuine care as naturally as Cathy does. She wasn’t pushy. She wasn’t scripted. She was sincere, informative, and truly invested in making sure we were comfortable with our decisions. As a salesperson and a brand representative, she set the bar incredibly high. If every customer experience was handled like this, the industry would be in a different league. Cathy — thank you. We’re sincerely grateful for the way you showed up for us during an important time in our lives. - Thank you Cathy Blickos.

I could not for the life of me understand what the point of this store was. It seemed like a Macy's, just less cluttered and more elegant with higher prices. That was when they first opened up shop. Fast forward a few and I found myself with 8 hours to kill before a flight home. What better place to spend it at than Ala Moana? A friend absolutely loves this store. I took a chance and went in again, took my time and really browsed around. It was like night and day. I found really nice shirts, some cheap, some medium priced, with very nice designs and quality. I even found some nice shoes and I am NOT a shoe shopper. The service was excellent. I had about 6 associates ask me if I needed assistance. And I like that they bring your purchase around the counter to you instead of over it.

Ok Nordstrom, what has happened? This location used to be excellent with friendly and helpful employees and wonderful customer service. I visited this location again today and left due to frustration. Not one employee said hello to me as I was the first customer to enter when the store opened, and the Charlotte Tilbury staff member wasn’t available again today. I couldn’t even find the item that I spent fifteen minutes searching for and it’s so disappointing. Then I went upstairs and had an employee say “what’s going on over here?” after I asked a question. I really loved this store, but the staff members seem either burned out or not interested in engaging now. On the way out, I stopped at the restroom and it was not clean so again, I left. (urine on the floor and toilet tissue on the floor in two different places.) I’m not writing this to complain, but in the hopes that the store manager might see my review and address whatever is going on. Thank you.

The presence of well-known establishments such as Starbucks and Massage Envy adds to the appeal of this long-standing shopping destination.
I have been going here since I was a kid when they had Rexall Drug store and the Crack seed shop. It had improved with a better selection of businesses. It's cleaner than it used to be. Parking hasn't changed much but is usually adequate for the amount of customers that visit. It's still free. I like the BR31, Pieology, Pho, etc.

A visit to one of Aina Haina Shopping Center's eateries is what brought us here, specifically Pieology. And what a delish place it was! Back to the subject, AHSC is a simple, outdoor strip mall with lots of free parking, and easy access from the main road. A dreary, protected lanai serves as food court seating. OVERALL: Other than being a "convenience" mall to the small communities on Oahu's east end, there'd be no reason to come here as the tenant list consists mostly of businesses that can be found elsewhere on the island, sans for Pieology and local restaurants, and is definitely not a shopper's paradise. The cleaning trash can and assorted tools and cleaners were pushed into a corner but for 45 minutes, no one showed up to clean. Hawaii's first Bloomingdales is at Ala Moana Center in the Ewa Wing extension. The 3 level store is neatly organized in straight rows and sections. We browsed through the home section which was priced competitively and featured a nice selection of products. The second floor also is home to the Forty Carrots restaurant. The men's department, on the third floor, showcased a lot of brands I've never heard of, most sharp, some hideous, but all with matching sky high price tags. The shoe department is teeny tiny. I'm really surprised that for such a low population area that these stores can survive when they sell almost the same things as each other, and many times have a dedicated store within the same mall. I'm sure the higher tourist volume helps a great deal. Service was friendly and helpful.

Shocking Lack of Oversight at Ala Moana Bloomingdale’s On Saturday, July 12, 2025, around 1:50 p.m., I had a very disturbing experience at the Bloomingdale’s in Ala Moana Shopping Center. My wife needed to use the restroom, so we were directed to the third floor. The men’s room and family restroom were both occupied. We waited over 20 minutes with no Bloomingdale’s employees in sight in the nearby departments. Eventually, a teenage boy (around 16) exited the family restroom, followed shortly after by a younger teenage girl (about 14). The stench of marijuana was overwhelming, poorly masked by perfume. It was clear the restroom had been used for both drug use and inappropriate behavior. This happened in broad daylight in a family-oriented store—with no staff presence and zero intervention. Completely unacceptable. This store urgently needs better restroom monitoring, employee visibility, and basic security measures. Until changes are made, I would not recommend this location to anyone concerned about safety or professionalism.

April 2025: Unfortunately, my personal stylist Ag**a has resigned. She was a class act and a fashionista coming from Manhattan. But Alas! I have connected with An*g*** who is also a fellow fashionista and extremely professional as well. I am happily back to shopping Bloomingdale’s. Older review: Firstly, as a longterm Loyalist member, the Bloomingdale rewards are indeed “rewarding.” I always find my favorite brands and sometimes something new. ‘ I usually find a familiar face or two to assist me and they have always been helpful and knowledgeable. On Saturday evening, the 18TH of August at approximately 6PM, the sales associate in houseware was indeed of what one comes to expect when shopping at this store. She was helpful and upbeat and I not only found what I was looking for but bought some Vilreroy & Boch dishes that were on sale. Moving onto floor 2 with a slightly heavy “big brown bag”(the associate that I purchased the dishes from offered to help me but I declined), I approached a lone sales associate at Aqua where I had an online order to pick up(I had been there on the 14TH of August and found beachwear and ordered more online). I said hello and she barely looked up from whatever she was doing, muttered something, and looked down again. I asked if I could put my “big brown bag” down and she said, “I don’t know…” and didn’t assist me. I placed it down nonetheless and told her that I had an order to pick up. She didn’t offer to help so I searched for the associate from the previous day to help. As I looked for her or for anyone to help, I browsed for some pants that I found online to try on. As I was doing this, the associate from the previous day walked by. I greeted her but she didn’t seem to recognize me. I knew from the previous day that although her demeanor wasn’t rude, it wasn’t friendly either. I just casted it off that she was just having a bad day. I told her that I had something to pick up and she asked for my name. I asked her if I could give her my “big brown bag” while I shopped and she immediately said that she’d put it in the back unlike the other sales associate at the Aqua counter who didn’t offer to help. I received my order and tried some more items on and made another purchase, receiving more Bloomingdale rewards :). I was also assisted by another associate who offered to help with my “big brown bag” as I left. With regards to the associate on floor 3, service was the standard one excepts at Bloomies. The associate who assisted me on the 14TH and 18TH was helpful but as I mentioned before, didn’t seem interested or quite frankly, happy. However, the associate at the Aqua counter who didn’t greet me nor offer to assist me with items that were even purchased at the store is unacceptable. It is one thing to have an unhappy associate(I’d simply find another associate to help me in the future and they’d be earning a huge commission and gaining a future client) but for the sales clerk at the Aqua counter to be so blatantly rude is below par to say the very least.

I've been a fan of Mr. Vuitton's over-priced goods since I was in junior high. I guess I was fascinated with the history, quality, price, and exclusivity of it all. I spent more allowance money here than I did after I had my own income. This store's humble beginnings started where the Apple Store is currently located, though the original footprint was only about 1/4 of it. It was a simple boutique, a single aisle with counters & displays on either side. What I remember most was the scent of leather as soon as you entered. My first purchase was a keychain with coin holder in Monogram, which was about $120 back in the late 80's. From then on, I went buck wild, expanding to the Epi line with a check book holder, wallets, small goods and a Keepall 45 in Monogram, a slender wallet in Damier Graphite and finally a sling backpack in the same. That aroma is long gone now in their current behemoth corner spot. What started out at 1 level is now a 2 level museum boutique. It's very spacious and still evokes the brand's luxury. I even saw the man I bought all my products from still working there back in 2015 but I think he's since retired. I especially love the antique trunks on display, though I have yet to see an original trunk in Damier canvas, which any LV buff knows, was his last creation before he died. Any designs after that were of his son's, starting with the infamous Monogram. I've visited the flagship store in Paris, where there is a line to get in. Very impressively huge. It's almost the size of a city block. A few of my pieces have really deteriorated unfortunately, mainly due to Hawaii's humidity I guess. The interior leather parts of my checkbook holder and clutch, both in Monogram, melted. If you rub your finger on it, it smears off in a reddish-black goo. Funny thing is my checkbook holder in Epi is fine. I took them to the store in Whaler's Village where I got quoted a repair price. Being that the goods are older, I didn't go through with it, and nothing lasts or is guaranteed forever. My other pieces are pristine, even 20 years later.

My wife purchased a handbag (purse), wallet, Bandoulière with coin purse, and the high rise (body pouch thingy) today. We read a lot of reviews regarding how people felt when shopping here. I will start by saying all of the workers were of Asian/Polynesian decent. My wife and I too are of Asian decent (Chinese/Japanese and Korean/Swedish), myself being hapa/half Swedish. I didn’t feel we were being watched because of our ethnicity but more so because people steal. While they have product on the floor and are displaying specified products requested by visitors, people have been known to grab and dash since the beginning of human existence. My wife looked amazing as usual while I dressed in my usual attire which could pass as homeless to some people. I still didn’t feel as though I was being unfairly watched or treated poorly because of this. Our sales rep Madison was great and grabbed everything my wife wanted in a matter of minutes. She was pleasant, helpful and very considerate. We left happy and with a few thousand dollars of accessories that made my wife’s day. Thank you Madison and thank you L.V (Ala Moana).

My daughter and I were so excited to visit the Ala Moana LV. Our excitement immediately turned to disappointment as the moment we entered the door we were treated like we weren't worth the staffs time or energy. I inquired about passport covers and the exclusive Hawaii stamps. Our SA, Hazel, immediately became disinterested when she learned that was "all we were interested in". She asked how long we were in town for, and then told me it would take 3 days to have our items embossed and I would have to pick them up at that time. We are leaving in 2 days, so that seemed a bit suspicious. When I asked if there was any way to ship, or to expedite, she told me no and then asked "do you need more help or no?" in a totally dismissive way. My daughter and I left feeling pretty low. Luckily, we saw a review for the Waikiki location and tried over there this afternoon. 100% different experience!! We purchased personalized passport holders AND 2 bags. We'll never bother with Ala Moana again.

Madison is very kind and patient, answering all my questions, inquiries, and curiosity about various products. Having this experience with her is exactly why this store is still and always will be my top favorite location in HI and mainland.

Today I went to the LV store by Ala Moana with my mom and sister. We were greeted by Marisa who was friendly knowledgeable who helped me grab some of the styles I was interested in. We went on a Sunday and it was busy… but Marisa took the time and made sure I got the service and advice in picking out the bag. She was super understanding and wanted me to be happy with my purchase and provided me with a wide variety of options available. Although I didn’t buy anything today but I have already shared her contact with my friends who is interested in coming to visit Hawaii and I have recommended Marisa to her. She is great and I highly recommend you to look for her when you are planning to treat yourself❤️ Updated review! ******* Le D- ⭐️✨Sales Associate ✨⭐️ So, I went to Lv again for my birthday and this time we were served by Le who was a knowledgeable, genuine Sales Associate that really made our experience memorable! Le asked the right questions and took everything that she think would be a good fit for us! In the end I decided on the Neverfull and big shoutout for Le for giving me all the variations of bags to try and being so patient for me and I am so happy with my bag❤️. I left the store happy and then thought… let’s get something for my mom for Mother’s Day so we went back in!! (Yes this store does that to you) During that time, Le was serving another client and so we were helped by Tyler. 😶 Tyler has many areas of improvement in his way of treating his client. Firstly, he didn’t care about us and brushed us off when we mentioned to him what we were looking for and how we were previously served by Le. We wanted to first look for a wallet and he just took a few of them out to show us. When we had concerns about one of the wallet (the buttons was really hard to unbuckle), instead of addressing it… he put the wallet back and went on his phone… and was disengaged in serving us…. in my opinion was quite unprofessional especially when we are actually interested in shopping and buying something for our mom. In the end, Tyler walked over to Le and asked to switched. We were happy because I personally didn’t want to deal with someone who didn’t really cared or want my business. In the end, We ended up getting a wallet for my mom AND an Alma bb that Le showed us. ( my sister and my mom loved that bag!) One of the reason why we went back to Le was because she cared and was genuine. My mom was amazed by how she was able to understand our needs and choose the bags we loved! Also, she didn’t make us feel rush and I will be sending her contact to all my friends and family that will visit Hawaii to Le! One last thing I want to mention was, when I didn’t know where the keys were, I texted Le and she immediately response…. Service level 200/100❤️ *Sorry Tyler, if this is how you treat clients…. You wouldn’t be successful in your job… I think you need to learn from your superstore coworker who is exceptional in what she does😊*

Nuʻuanu Shopping Plaza, located in Honolulu, offers a convenient and diverse shopping experience. Over the years, it has transformed from Chun Hun Market to its current state. The plaza is home to various merchants including Starbucks, Paradise Poke, a bar, Super Cuts, and Territorial Savings bank. Visitors can enjoy a variety of offerings such as musubi at Paradise Poke and essential items at Walgreens. Additionally, the upcoming poke shop adds to the appeal of this location.
Very quaint, little shopping area. My daughter and I like to come to the Starbucks here because of their Order Ahead feature and that it's usually not too busy at this location. Lots of parking.

Starbucks — always a good time. The employees here are lovely and super welcoming, always greeting you with a big smile that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Next door at Paradise Poke? Fire. The fish is fresh, the flavors hit — can’t go wrong. I just wish the servings were a bit bigger, not gonna lie. As for Fantastic Cuts… yeah, I have no idea how they’re still running. 😅

Management needs to fix and maintain the yellow traffic bumps in the parking lot that regulates speed. The ends of the bolted bumps stick out and endanger the tires of patrons. At least they fixed the bolt that was sticking out earlier but the entire fixture needs to be better maintained.

Don't know what happened to Walgreens But! I personally was happy to see Territorial Savings especially after being on the east coast for 45+yrs. My teachers bank with them since forever. Pretty sure that " Checkers " bank there also? Or was it Pogo? Then there's the Poki Palace that is what I call them 🤷. O`no kau kau just trying to decide which one 💁. Need a haircut Supercuts right there, get a trim, style, or I enjoy getting my hair washed massage and conditioning. Fluffy fluffy and out the door you go. Starbucks for me it's a place to gather up my thoughts and write it down I always see to it that I purchase something. Don't like seeing people taking up space for the WiFi without a purchase and take up a table and borrow an extra chair.. I had a Great experience there for I was able to watch the sun go down without glasses. Find the review of this for it can only happen in a Starbucks. O'Reilly's you had to have been there. A safe area to be, still just be aware.

A luxurious strip in Waikiki that offers all the High end fashion, designer and boutiques that you could desire.
Ryan D — Google review
An amazingly vast number of shops, with couture designers' flagship stores as well as your local ABC Stores BUT again, just SOOOOO incredibly crowded. It's a really nice outdoor walk along the strip, which is very clean, large sidewalks, and fairly friendly people/tourists, but would hope for better restaurants, I think they're lacking the number of restaurants needed to service all of us hungry people.
Y&N — Google review
This is where most brand names are located. It’s located at the quite end of Waikiki for a reason. It’s relatively safe at night and less crowded. It could take 15-20 min walk to get here if you stay near the zoo.
World E — Google review
Very nice, modern section of the city with all the best luxury brands here. One very interesting thing I found out is that Hawaii has some of the cheapest luxury prices in the US / Canada. Many of them are 20% off. This might change in the future if the US dollar gets weaker compared to Asian currencies. But as long as it stays stronger you can expect a discount at these shops!
Michael J — Google review
Good selection of stores you can think of and alot if restaurants to choose from. Most of these stores are expansive though. Make sure to park you're vehicles in a secure parking lot. There is some stories of car break ins.

I wanted to get a special anniversary gift for my spouse and knew that Tiffany & Co would have some great choices that would mark this day in indelible memory. I spent time on the website to choose a handful of beautiful pieces and then read reviews of the Tiffany store in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. I was impressed with what I read and the name of a particular ambassador/associate had rave reviews. I arrived at Tiffany’s and was pleasantly greeted then directed to wait for an assigned salesperson due to current pandemic guidelines. After a couple of minutes of waiting in the clean and comfy lobby, I was introduced to Gerry (Gerald) who would be assisting me - Gerry was the Ambassador of Tiffany/Aloha that I had read about in the reviews! Other reviewers were spot on about the spectacular service received from him but I’d like to add that he actually made my time with him truly enjoyable as we connected on many levels of culture, family, and life as we moved around the store to view the pieces of jewelry that interested me. In short as this is getting long, I purchased two pieces knowing that I was receiving respected name, quality, service, and ongoing support from this iconic company and Gerry. Gerry went beyond my expectations and offered to help with arranging dinner reservations for my anniversary plans which propelled him to “Ambassador of Aloha” status! I highly recommend him to anyone but especially to locals as he embodies the spirit of the islands and the people who are generous with loving aloha.

A great place to peruse local shops and patronize popular local eateries. Plan to park across the street in the adjacent lot due to the Center having one of the worst parking lots on the island. The Music was beautiful. I will say being the only African American there was not what i expected. I got a few weird looks from a caucasian women. (Yes i saw you) The vendors seemed nice enough but the prices seemed gauged (i have been in Hawaii almost 10yrs). I settled on two sets of earrings from the only vendor that actually talked to me without me standing there waiting for a long period of time looking. I did encounter 2 ladies that didn't talk to me much but at least they acknowledged my presence. I likely would never visit again though. This was just my experience. If you go to Hawaii, this is actually the best setup, you do not have to wait in a line and show your I. D to go into a gate, you just go in park and when you buy something you show your I. D it is so convenient. On the 1st floor they have an area that has small vendors with Hawaiian merchandise. And then they have what you normally would look for in the commissary, except they have a whole gift section that is really nice. Even if you don't want some food, go to the food court and just look at the beautiful wayland ceiling painting. The commissary has everything you want and some really nice fresh things. We took great advantage of it and also gas is cheaper. So we totally took advantage of our benefits.

This is above and beyond most military exchanges. It is just remarkable. I did not take photos of the food court but this isn't the usual. Amazing wide range of food. My favorite is Korean. For as long as I can remember. This place has been the ideal go to for breakfast, lunch, grocery shopping, alcohol, tech, clothing, jewelry, fragrances, accessories, etc. Basically everyday and last minute shopping. Comparable/ competitive pricing, so long as they have what you're looking for in stock. Availability is the only issue over come across. Either they don't carry what you're looking for, or don't have it in inventory. Like when you go against a boss without the proper healing potions and purity vials. You gotta stop at the last shop just outside the double doors of terror... Except the merchant tells you he's run out until tomorrow. Anyway, there's a good food court, as well as some food stalls outside. Plenty of reasons to have a look for yourself. The shops are pretty open to everyone, but you still need your military ID to purchase within the NEX and commissary.

It's a place where there's doctors, post office the bank and let's just throw in a place to grocery shop it's called the Food Pantry. While you're there don't forget to fed the Koi family in their pond, hey don't forget Honu the turtle.

There is a food pantry there I like to stop and pick up lunch, they have plenty of options. I think to call it a mall is miss leading. They have a few different options to choose from to eat and the rest of the office spaces are businesses. Over all a quiet spot to grab a quick bite to eat.

Not much to say about Eaton Square. Has a lot of vacancy spaces for businesses. There is a convenient grocery store open from 6am to 9pm. However you will find their prices a bit higher than most grocery stores on Oahu.

Older building. Probably has great views.

There's a great little post office, Bank of Hawaii, a church, nail salon, beauty salon and other shops. The Food Pantry is at ground level. I love that little grocery store. Friendly staff and the prices are not outrageous.
Brenda H — Google review
No retail stores but there's a bank (supports the Pipeline so def skip it) & a limited service post office but the series of koi ponds and waterfalls are beautiful. Plus, Food Pantry is right there & is incredibly well stocked given its small size.
