Honolulu Cookie Company is a renowned gourmet shortbread cookies retailer that offers an array of Hawaiian-inspired flavors, including mango and macadamia. Established in 1998, it has become a fixture in Hawaii's resort and shopping scene. The company aims to spread the spirit of aloha through its delectable treats. Customers rave about the addictive nature of the cookies and recommend visiting one of their many locations while in Honolulu.
Must-go when in Hawaii. Store is beautiful and they come up with creative assortments of cookies. I love Aloha tins in pineapple shape and the surfboard tins. Best gifts to give to family and friends. They have a sample section so you can sample before you purchase. We love the macadamia nut dipped in dark chocolate, pineapple and coconut ones. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure to pick up some before you head over to the airport. Price is much better in the stores.

I bought quite a lot of cookies as gifts for my friends and family. All the staff at this store were so friendly and kind. Especially, Keiko’s service was fantastic! She kindly explained how to earn points, helped me with the checkout, and guided me through everything so warmly. Thanks to her, I made wonderful memories at this store. The cookies are also really delicious and perfect for gifts. 케이코님 서비스 최고에요! 감사합니다 케이코님🥹👍🏻

Nice cookie shop! This is one of a few of those shops in Waikiki. You can taste the cookies and get them in different boxes and packages. Staff is very friendly. Prices are little bit on the high side however the cookies are delicious!

Love these shortbread cookies! I always pick up a box whenever I am in Hawaii or Vegas! The guava, pineapple, and chocolate chip are my favourites, and this time, I got to try the seasonal pumpkin flavour as well! So delicious!
Pam D — Google review
Warm and friendly welcome. Very welcoming. Helpful in choosing the right package for you. Love all their cookies!
Steven K — Google review
I came in just because of the cute design of cookies there. But the staffs there welcomed me even if I might not buy anything, especially the young gentleman working there. They gave me a free chipped cookie! BTW the small pineapple shaped hard shell gift box was so adorable that I had to get it for my friends! This store is a must go if you go to the Stix
Sharonica O — Google review
Famous [Honolulu Cookie] here!! Can’t leave Hawaii without these cookies. Price is reasonable and there are lots of options for gift sets, either in tin cases or boxes. There are free samples for you to try, so i got to try all of them!! Tasting was very helpful because there is an exclusive cookie a la cart available here, basically build your own box. Three box sizes are available for you to fill as you choose. I had fun filling those boxes :) All the staffs are attentive, kind, and helpful.

Restaurant
Nico's Pier 38 is a popular waterfront dining spot that offers a relaxed atmosphere while serving top-notch seafood dishes with a blend of French and Hawaiian influences. The open-air setting provides breathtaking views of the harbor, creating a special dining experience. The menu highlights local flavors and ingredients, with the furikake ahi being particularly renowned. As Honolulu's premier fish restaurant, Nico's sources its fresh fish directly from the local fleet and emphasizes locally grown produce.
Had an amazing dining experience at Nico’s Pier 38! The food was absolutely delicious—especially the beef, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care put into each dish. The drinks were on point too, refreshing and well-crafted. What really took it over the top was the scenery. Watching the sunset over the harbor while enjoying a great meal made the whole experience feel extra special. Whether you’re looking for a solid dinner spot or a chill place to unwind with good vibes and good views, Nico’s is definitely worth the visit.

We went there on Wednesday about 1120a. Gravel lot parking and also staggered parking stalls around. I thought this was going to be a service type of dining. This is a fancier fast food eating/dining. Only walk-in...or looks like take out, lol. There's a table with menus for food and cocktails. You order food at front desk, pay and they give you those vibrating gadgets... don't be dumb like me and give a tip because you service yourself. You find a table if you want to stay. If you want cocktails, you go to the bar and order. When gadget vibrates, go to food counter and get your plate lunch. Atmosphere is actually nice... there's also live music. I got a sweet okole cocktail...a little strong. There's free water at the food counter Fountain drink machine. I had the crab burger...not bad but i think it's can crab. My friend had the furikake mahi... she liked it. We also had the side order garlic pesto shrimp... tasty, but they used small shrimp. The fish market is adjoining, so you can buy and eat that there too. It's not bad and i would eat here again
Mary A — Google review
Good was good but I was hoping for a little more taste in the burger that was featured on diners, drive-ins and dives. It’s got a good view and I don’t really bother you if you stay for a while, which is great. I did not appreciate that The soda was not free refill. A little odd that you have to order lunch at the front, but they had table side service for dinner. As with most fish sandwiches, they often need more sauce to balance out the low-fat content of the fish. Ask for extra sauce if you’re ordering a fish sandwich.
James G — Google review
Recommended by a friend. Not bad but not great, parking can be a challenge if there for dinner and you may need to park farther away. Indoor/outdoor seating and beautiful views of the water with live music as well. The menu as a variety of offerings with lots of fresh seafood selection. A varied dessert section as well. I enjoyed my time but probably not a repeat experience
FarEastFurqans — Google review
Great experience overall at Nico’s! The fresh fish was amazing and service matched. We had a party of ten and all were very pleased. I had the Miso Black Cod & my wife had the Pier 38 Double Fish Burger w/ salad and house lemon miso dressing. The Ahi appetizer was top notch!
Travis B — Google review
I really enjoyed the variety of food from fish to Italian to burgers to salad and soups. Dessert menu is well with a looksie! I bought carrot cake for home and my friend got the brownie for her birthday. 🎂 The waiter was attentive, kind, and helpful. Live instrumental music was a great touch and added to the ambience. Walked around the pier after dinner. I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable evening dinner +entertainment. A nice place to dress up or just be casual. Fisherman's chowder in a bread bowl was delish and got a side of veggies- carrots and green beans. Yummy! It was the perfect amount of food for me. Friend wanted seafood/fish and that's what she got-swordfish, mashed potatoes and same veggies.
Shaktidancer — Google review
Came here for dinner. Service was a little slow. But maybe because they were so busy. we ordered the calamari and truffle fries and they were very good. I had the crabcake salad. Crabcakes were just okay. But the salad and dressing were delicious. The poke nachos were very good. The place was a little loud because they had live entertainment.
Imee C — Google review
Aloha all around! 1st time because my cousin is a regular and raved about this place. Poke is fresh! Tako & ahi are my go-tos, great here! if I could have eaten the others I would have. Brown rice is also an option for poke bowl! BF got loco moco & katsu and felt this was the best by far.

The Royal Hawaiian Center is a premier destination for upscale shopping in Honolulu, featuring over 150 high-end stores such as Kate Spade, Apple, and Ferrari. Visitors can also explore luxury retailers like Tiffany and Co, Chanel, and Vera Wang at 2100 Kalakua Avenue. The center offers an array of dining options and unique experiences including Hawaii's first Saks Fifth Avenue at the International Marketplace.
This is a nice and classy store in the heart of downtown Waikiki. They have a good slection of high end shops, special mention having an ABC store since you can find anything here and for souvenirs. This mall also have a variety of food selection from food court and special dine in, like Cheesecake Factory. I’ve been here on different seasons and I love that this mall features different theme of live shows. I went during lunar new year and they had the Lion dance show and red enevelope ceremony. They also feature other activities for kids and live music, just check their website for the schedule. They usually have it posted on several entrances of the mall. This mall is also a short walking distance to Waikiki beach; there’s a pathway to the beach, slightly across from this mall; you won’t miss it as it’s lined up with a display of surf boards. And because of its convenient location, many people love shopping here and dining then you can just walk to the beach and relax. I can’t ask for anything better than great shopping, good food and a mix cultural experience.
Ivee M — Google review
A Shopping Gem in Waikiki! Having explored shopping malls across multiple countries and continents, I was pleasantly surprised by the Royal Hawaiian Center—it truly exceeded my expectations. This expansive, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained venue offers more than just a premier shopping experience; it seamlessly blends world-class retail with diverse dining options, creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and inviting. What sets the Royal Hawaiian Center apart is its commitment to showcasing Hawaiian culture. Guests can enjoy a variety of complimentary events and workshops, immersing themselves in traditional music, dance, and artistry. One particularly unforgettable experience was witnessing a surprise marriage proposal at the conclusion of a mesmerizing hula performance—an unexpected yet heartwarming moment that highlighted the magic of this place. When it comes to dining, there is truly something for everyone. Whether you're craving a refreshing treat like those offered at Island Vintage Shave Ice or seeking a fine dining experience at Wolfgang's Steakhouse, the Center presents a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Despite being a bustling destination, the Center is well worth the visit. To make the most of your experience, I recommend checking their website in advance to explore upcoming events and attractions. Conveniently located just steps from Waikiki Beach, this shopping and cultural hub is a must-see for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Hawaii. I look forward to returning to this exceptional destination soon.
Ana B — Google review
Nice shopping area with free hula shows. Not sure if they’re on every day so check the website for more info. There’s a nice dean & DeLuca that sells Hawaii limited bags here as well.

This center is the hub of shopping in the area. From high-end stores and restaurants to budget-friendly fashion and cafés, there’s something for everyone. The complex is huge, with an amazing layout and beautiful gardens. Even if you’re not staying at the connecting hotel, it’s worth walking through to see what catches your eye.

Smart street food, love the atmosphere. The casualties feel so relax. The best place to hang out with friends. Food is excellent. I loved the toast matcha so flavorful and not sweet just perfect.
Grace W — Google review
Royal Hawaiian Center is a vibrant Waikīkī hub with 110 stores and 30 dining spots. Enjoy free hula, ukulele, and lei-making classes in the Royal Grove. Stunning views, lively cultural events, and convenient parking make it a must-visit.
Nam D — Google review
Royal Hawaiian Center (2201 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815) is a beautiful and clean shopping center in the heart of Waikiki. It offers a wide variety of shops, from luxury brands like Tory Burch and Fendi to local boutiques, along with plenty of places to buy souvenirs. The food court has many options with good prices, and there are well-known restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory as well as smaller local eateries. The atmosphere is tropical, open, and inviting, with clean washrooms and plenty of space to walk around. It’s a great place to shop, eat, and spend time with family and friends. The reason for four stars instead of five is that most of the escalators were damaged and took far too long to be fixed, which made moving between floors a bit inconvenient. Other than that, the center is well-maintained, clean, and definitely worth visiting when in Waikiki.

This place was great! The pastries were out of this world delicious. My iced vanilla latte was very good. I’m not a “coffee” drinker but I did buy some to take home because the flavors sound amazing. This place is so busy, I arrived at 6:50am and there were already 30 people in front of me. The line did move quickly so don’t let the long line deter your visit.
Tracy W — Google review
Another one of our breakfast choices was this place, mainly because it was close to our hotel. Of course, the large number of positive reviews also caught our attention. The prices seemed a bit higher than in other spots, but let’s set that aside. I had a mushroom sandwich (or something along those lines), and it was fairly tasty, but it didn’t leave much of an impression on me. What really stood out, though, was the coffee — and not in a good way. Honestly, it was terrible. Probably one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had. It was extremely bitter and just not enjoyable at all. Even my iced coffee was bad, and as for the hot coffee my friends ordered — it was awful too. I really don’t recommend ordering coffee here. Overall, I don’t think I would come back.
Iryna Y — Google review
This place has pretty good coffee and pastries however a constant one hour line does NOT make it worth it. Not enough staff to provide service and make it a smooth experience. Definitely worth going to other places for coffee considering this line and service ruins the experience. My 2 year old knows better manners than these passive aggressive baristas. For a hospitality cafe we were really disappointed.
Amanda C — Google review
This is a very popular place for their Black Sesame Kouign Amann. Their coffee is so smooth and good! People wait in line even before this place opens. I always come every time I'm in Oahu and it's highly recommended. Hack: if you're buying a bag of coffee, you can go directly to the register that's near the bagged coffee and select your coffee and also order drinks and pastries.
Sam — Google review
☕️✨ A must-stop in Honolulu! Kona Coffee Purveyors serves up incredible drinks + pastries baked fresh in store 🥐 Black Sesame Latte was so unique & nutty 💯. I loved their drinks Liam’s punch and the honey latte as well!! ✔️ My picks: • 🍫 Chocolate Kouign-Amann • 🍫🍌 Chocolate Banana Croissant • 🧀 Savoury Croissant Line was crazy long at opening time, definitely recommend getting there early
Melzy P — Google review
I visited around 11 AM. The line took about 20 minutes and then a few more for the coffee. Cold brew (small - $6.25) was delicious. It tasted nutty and chocolaty, and very smooth. I also had their coconut and pineapple croissant ($6.25) which was surprisingly good. It was not too sweet but definitely had the pineapple flavour. I'll be coming back!
Claire C — Google review
The iced coffee and the Affogato are spectacular!!!! There is a long line most of the time, but it's not a dramatic wait time. The pasties they sell also look yummy. We went back twice because it was good each time.
Nwoo — Google review
Expect about a 45 minute wait if you get in line backed up to the Hilton grand vacations booth. It took us 47 minutes from getting in line back there to when we got to order. Then another 15 minutes to get the coffee. So about an hour total. The good: The lemon tart was the best I’ve ever had, and the other pastries were really good too. The bad: My wife loves coffee and threw it away after only a few sips, she said she was actually pretty disappointed with it, especially after waiting for an hour for it. Overall, not worth the wait and likely won’t be back since there is always a line.

Big Island Candies is a renowned confectionery on the island of Hawaii, offering delectable treats such as cookies, chocolates, and other sweet delights. The establishment is celebrated for its exquisite packaging and high-quality products that make for perfect gifts or personal indulgences. With a wide array of flavors and options to choose from, visitors can savor the unique taste of locally inspired sweets.
We went on a hoppa hop off bus tour and Big Island Candies was one of the 5 destinations, it's such an inspiration story of two brothers which started the business out of their grandma's garage some 28 years ago which now is a big business that exports chocolates and candies worldwide. I was really impressed the staff all wore lime green branded clothing, had a big smile and gave us candy samples and free coffee as soon as we walked in. It was around Halloween so the whole store was decorated. They had fabulous gift boxes at $50 each so I bought two as gifts and my family and friends were very happy to receive them, and the candies were tasty. I highly recommend visiting them. Just about everyone on my tour bought something.

What a great stop when on the actual island of Hawaii.I got to watch the cookie makers while they dipped the cookies in chocolate. The store and production facility employs up to 150 people and adds a night shift during the holiday season. Kids could get an education here about manufacturing, economics, business, food production, and chemistry. On the day I was there, the hosts were giving out complimentary coffee. Great cookies and sugar free options are available. Easy enterance.

Awesome store with beautiful packing. There's only 2 in the whole world. The original and flagship store is in Big Island and then there this Oahu store. These are honestly so much better than the popular shortbread cookie brand which I will not name. Plus lots of free samples in this store. One of the ladies told me the story of the chef/baker of these cookies and she sold me.

Jakob – The Charmer of Big Island Candies, Waikīkī** Jakob is the kind of sales guy who makes shopping feel like catching up with an old friend. Tall, clean-cut, blue eyes, and always sporting a warm island smile, he’s instantly approachable. He’s got that easygoing Waikīkī charm — a mix of aloha spirit and professional polish. out on the store front at **Big Island Candies**, Jakob greets every visitor like they’re his first of the day. He knows the products inside out — from the signature shortbread dipped in chocolate to the local macadamia nut favorites — and he has a knack for making recommendations that hit just right. Tourists linger longer when he’s around; locals swing by just to chat. Jakob’s real skill, though, isn’t just selling sweets — it’s making people feel good while they browse. He’s the guy who turns a quick stop for a souvenir into a memorable experience, offering samples and just want to make everyone want to stay just a little longer. mahalo jakob!

I received a box as a gift and immediately had to find out where it came from. These are the best Shortbread Cookies that I have tasted in Hawaii and being the foodie that I am, I've tasted many.

I had a great first experience visiting Big Island Candies at Ala Moana Shopping Center. They have a huge selection of Chocolate goods at the highest quality. These products are a great gift choice or treat for yourself and the family. They offer seasonal items as well, this visit was Valentines oriented. Staff was super friendly and I appreciated everything this place had to offer. I would highly recommend coming here to see if anything fancies your taste. Thank you very much and God Bless Big Island Candies!

Big Island Candies is my favorite confectionery shop! It was originally in Hilo, Hawaii, where you're able to shop their factory. I'm so happy they brought it to Oahu. My favorite items to purchase are the season boxes with the different flavors. They have the most nicest decorative boxes, for gifts, or a gift for yourself! I love the shortbread cookies, salted brownies, and chocolate covered cuttlefish. They have unique flavors tailored to Hawaii's natural fruits, which I love! Don't forget to grab a stamp card, and receive $5.00 off your next purchase! Happy Eats ✌️

First time coming to this island and didn't know what to expect. We stayed at the Hilton but also had opportunity to see other hotels family stayed out. I absolutely loved the Hilton! It's almost a city within the city with all the stores, scenery and dining options. The rooms were modern and clean. The staff our the cleaning lady we had we soo courteous and polite! The location right on the beach was amazing! I think if you are with your family it's an ideal spot!

This is an amazing hotel village in a perfect spot in Waikiki. Me and my family of 5 are having such a fun and memorable experience so far! However, if you are staying for more than 1 week I do NOT recommend staying here because there are no Laundry Rooms or Microwaves anywhere for guest use. We are used to staying in smaller rooms so the sleeping arrangements were ok for us. We originally stayed in Tapa tower and the room was very modern and felt clean and updated. Our balcony overlooked the pool and at night we could enjoy the live music from our room. After a week in, we moved over to Diamond Head tower for an extra bed and a little more room. They did tell us do not even think about buying a microwave to bring into the room because they will kick us out 🤣🥸(they read our minds) Diamond Head had an older feel to it but the balcony was bigger and the beautiful view of Waikiki Beach made it acceptably awesome. We were told by the desk clerk that there is a laundromat down the street but not to use it in the evening. There is not a lot of parking in Waikiki and the parking garage here at Hilton is expensive if you are renting a car. Personally, I was prepared to do laundry on our 3 week vacation but I don't want to go to a laundromat to do it. I was not prepared for that answer. Next time, we will look for an extended stay hotel but just wanted to state this because with all the beautiful amenities and services on the premises, to not have a laundry room or microwave seems kind of silly if you want families to come back and thoroughly enjoy for any length of time.

Our stay at the resort was truly unforgettable, and we owe a huge part of that to Jackie H. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and dedication made our trip so much better — we really felt taken care of. The resort itself is breathtaking. The iconic Rainbow Tower alone is worth the visit — it’s stunning, inside and out. Every corner of the property feels like paradise. From the views to the service to the overall atmosphere, everything was top-notch. Most importantly, the value is incredible. Every dollar we spent was worth it and more. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you, Jackie, and thank you to the entire team for making this such a memorable experience! 🌈💫

We stayed at the Kalia Tower for two weeks. The over all experience was great for the room & Village. The carpet was very rough in the hallway & room, also the wallpaper was starting to come off the walls. It would seem that it could be updated every few years given that we had to pay an extra 140 dollars per night just for resort fees & parking. The resort fees include DVD’s which I thought was odd with today’s technology for streaming. In two weeks I only saw one person using the DVD kiosk. I didn’t really understand what we were getting for the resort fees, It was like paying for the room twice. The food in the Village was delicious with a lot of options at the different restaurants we tried, however there was no microwave in the room to reheat the leftovers from the overpriced food you get. It would have been a nice touch to have someone working at the front desk at the hotel lobby. There was a woman setting at the front desk but she let me know when I asked for towels & coffee that she didn’t work there & I needed to call over to the main tower. It does have elevator security room key access but it isn’t working. I saw a few people confused by this. When I asked about a laundry room, I was told that we had to go offsite. This isn’t a good option given how many homeless are around the area and the amount of traffic with the lack of parking. The pools where nice but could of used more time cleaning them in the morning. I didn’t understand the towel situation at the pools. The first week was great you got your towels, used them & then dropped them back off. The second week someone had a crazy ideal to make people scan room keys for a couple of towels, then if they weren’t return it would be a 20 dollar fee. Now they had no way of knowing if you returned the towels since you just put them into a big cart when you left the pool. Even the employees didn’t understand it. They even have a cabinet at one pool that you open the door after scanning your room key, take out however many towels you need with a sign stating you will be charged 20 dollars per towel if not returned to a towel cart. No tracking of how many you get or how many you return. One lady was stressed because she was worried about a tracking chip in the towel 😊. It just seems a little much given you are already paying room & resort fees, only to be threatened with a 20 dollar penalty when you are on vacation for a 2 dollar towel.

We ate at Bali Oceanfront for the first time. We asked to be seated front and center to see the pawns and thy grated our request with no problem. Bonnie our server was such a pleasure. Very knowledgeable and so kind. She recommended the exotic cheesecake at the end and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing fancy dinner. Would recommend the place and Bonnie to everyone.

We stayed as a family and absolutely loved this hotel. The staff in all departments are super friendly 👍The room was spacious and comfortable, the pools are great and there is easy access to the beach. The live music in the evenings created a lovely atmosphere. There were even fireworks on Friday! We enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend it. If possible book a room with a sea view the wow effect is guaranteed 😊 Mahalo 😊

We had an amazing vacation at the Hilton Hawaiian Village! The resort is absolutely beautiful — everything you could possibly need is right there. The lagoon was our favorite spot, perfect and safe for kids to swim and play. The surroundings feel luxurious, with great restaurants and high-end shops just steps away. The entire experience felt relaxing and well taken care of — we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was wonderful! We were lucky to have a beautiful oceanfront room right by the water. Ryan B welcomed us so warmly and made sure we were settled into a great room. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind. A special shoutout to our amazing housekeeper, Marylou, who kept our room spotless and greeted us each morning with such warmth—it truly made our stay feel extra special.

A hidden gem! My friend and I like to try out different coffee shops all over the island. Today we went to Aloha Bakehouse & Cafe; we loved the scones, coffee, and atmosphere. It was super cute and spacious upstairs. We plan to go back!

Most of the time, I go to the stores at Kakaako. It was Sunday, so I went to Kaimuki's! I love their scones! Today I had a cranberry scone! There were plenty of cranberries in it, which made me feel full and satisfied! And today's coffee was toasted sesame! It was a very tasty coffee with the aroma of sesame. My son likes cheese bagel. He looked very happy to eat it :)

Originally came into contact with this business at the "made in Hawaii" convention at the Ala Moana mall. My wife and I fell in love with their aloha stuffed bread and, decided to go to their actual location a few days later to see what else they had. The service here is amazing and the cashier was very patient and allowed me to study the menu. We ended up getting a breakfast sandwich on a bagel (flavor of our choice), two frozen caramel coffees (delicious) a scone and two more aloha breads. All was delicious. Just be aware, this place is located right in the middle of the city so parking might be hard to find. Also, their interior and upstairs dining area was closed due to COVID restrictions.. So orders were taken at the door for takeout. They did have two small tables out front to eat, at though. Overall, it was a great experience!

The cutest cafe with incredible food. They make their own peanut butter which is absolutely delicious, and the Aloha bread is a must-try. The smoothies are also great, and they have the loveliest seating area upstairs! The owner was so sweet as well

Love going to Aloha Bakehouse. The coffees and teas are high quality and the staff are friendly and professional. The baristas really know what they're doing because the drinks (especially the lattes) are delicious and smooth. There's a neighborhood feel to the cafe- the staff know who you are, and what you like to drink. They even take time to inquire about our dogs. Highly recommend!

Sweet Marie's Hawaii is a charming allergen-friendly bakery located in Honolulu, run by the vibrant and welcoming owner, Marie. The shop offers a variety of delicious allergen-friendly treats, including dairy and gluten-free muffins and cakes. Customers rave about Marie's exceptional service, with many praising her for creating custom wedding cakes and cupcakes that cater to various food allergies. Her dedication to accommodating dietary restrictions has left visitors impressed and grateful for her efforts.
Marie did an outstanding job on my wedding cake! I have multiple food allergies including gluten, dairy, and eggs, and she took on the job of making a wedding cake that I could eat! I wasn't sure this would be possible for my destination wedding, so I was just thrilled to find her. She communicated with me to coordinate the planning prior to my arrival in Hawaii, and was very easy to work with. The cake by far exceeded expectations! It was so beautiful, and she incorporated our cake topper. All of my guests ate from my "special" cake as well, and everyone thought it was delicious! I highly recommend Sweet Marie's for anyone needing an allergy friendly cake for an event!

So glad to find this allergen friendly baker here in Honolulu!! The owner is a vibrant, outgoing woman named Marie who makes you feel at home, the moment you walk in. It's a little shop, off the beaten path. She makes all kinds of allergen friendly goodies. Her dairy and gluten free muffins are delicious! I had a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache made for my birthday, that was dairy free and gluten free. It was amazing! She also offers breakfast and lunch items as well. The monte cristo is my recommendation! If you are gluten or dairy free, definitely take the time to check her out. It's worth it!

We tried to go this morning for some breakfast and, after reading the reviews, I was very excited to go. The first address was where the food truck was parked. The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is a sophisticated beachfront retreat featuring two restaurants, a luxurious spa, and an outdoor pool with a bar. Situated steps away from the famous Waikiki Beach, this resort offers a peaceful escape from city life while serving as a convenient base for exploring downtown Honolulu. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from their private lanai and take part in activities such as lei making, ukulele playing, and hula dancing.
We had such a great stay here! The check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location can’t be beat — right across from the ocean and the famous Duke Statue, surrounded by shops and restaurants, truly in the heart of the city. Everything was within walking distance. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking, and housekeeping did an excellent job — very clean and quick service. Overall, I’d give this hotel 5 stars and 5 thumbs up! The only downside was the restaurant next to the pool — the food and drinks were disappointing, so I’d recommend skipping that. Other than that, everything was awesome. Highly recommend this hotel!

We booked our stay tru the Chase travel portal. We stayed here last week for 7 nights. We wanted to give big kudos to Grace, as she did make sure that our stay was amazing. Also she is the only Spanish speaker at the front desk in case you need help in Spanish. The rooms are really spacious, including the bathrooms. Coming to Waikiki pretty often for business, other hotels have pretty tiny rooms and not to mention their tiny bathrooms. We got our room serviced everyday, which is not common post-covid. We really like all the amenities and services offered by the hotel, the location is all for this property. The parking seems overpriced but again it is Waikiki so it seems standard in the area. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
Luis M — Google review
Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki was very disappointing. The air conditioning in our first room was extremely loud and dirty, making it impossible to rest properly. Also the curtains were truly disgusting and we were absolutely shocked about the state of the room! We were also informed that repair work was scheduled to take place in our room the next day, sometime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. — an extremely inconvenient timeframe. You have no idea when someone might enter, and it’s quite uncomfortable not knowing if repair work on the bathroom pipes could start while you’re trying to shower or rest. Parking was another major issue. Although the hotel offers both self-parking and valet parking, all self-parking spaces were already full by 6 p.m. This meant that valet parking was the only option left — at a much higher rate of $85 instead of $60. That feels unreasonable for a hotel of this category. After filing a complaint, we were given a new room, which was acceptable — but the overall experience had already been ruined. The hotel itself looks very outdated and has clearly lost all of its former charm. This stay was at the end of our three-week trip, and we had started our journey at the Halepuna by Halekulani, also located on Waikiki Beach, where everything was absolutely wonderful. The difference in quality and service was remarkable. We will definitely not stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki EVER again.

Our family of four had two rooms and we were blown away by this place. I knew it would be nice, but it far exceeded my expectations! They upgraded us to partial ocean view rooms, and we had amazing views from our rooms! The rooms were very clean, large and with beautiful decor. We were celebrating my husband‘s birthday and they left many thoughtful treats and a bottle of champagne. The front desk woman at check-in (I wish I could remember her name) , was so sweet and helpful! It’s right across the road from the beach, but it’s such a simple walk. I actually can’t wait to come back! Absolutely loved it here!

The location of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is absolutely perfect. You are right in the heart of everything, with Waikiki Beach just steps away and endless shopping and dining options right on the main street. As a Globalist on a complimentary night award stay, the free valet parking was a fantastic perk. It was incredibly convenient to call down a few minutes ahead, and the car was always ready for us when we got to the lobby. The Regency Club was another major highlight for us. Having access to breakfast and a wide variety of drinks almost 24/7 made our stay very comfortable and easy. The amenities are solid, with a nice pool, hot tub, gym, and complimentary towels and chairs for the beach. The only downside was the room itself. We didn't receive an upgrade to an ocean view room (though our friends traveling with us did). The main issue was the soundproofing, which is not the best. We could clearly hear conversations in the hallway and even from the next room. There was also a loud whistling sound from the wind at the balcony door, which was quite noisy at night. Overall, if you are a Globalist and manage your expectations about a room upgrade, this is a very solid choice due to the incredible location and valuable perks.
J L — Google review
Overall very pleased with this resort. The location is amazing literally across the street from Waikiki Beach. The beds are comfortable and room size was surprisingly large for our family of four even with a pull out bed. The rooms are good but could use a few touch ups. We didn't use the pool but the free use of pool chairs for the beach was nice. Lastly the view from the room is amazing. We got the ocean view high floor and they put us on floor 25. Two things I didn't like. The AC in the room always seemed to struggle. We kept the temperature at 65 but it felt like 72 at night still. Also the parking is extremely expensive. Valet is $80 a day and self park is $65 so we opted for valet.
Trenton S — Google review
My husband and I stayed for a few days for a staycation. Service was good and the location was amazing. Close to the beach and lots of events within the hotel, eateries and shopping just downstairs of the lobby. Self-parking was tight and scarce but doable. I was offered a corner room with a partial ocean view. Not sure if it was a choice I should have taken. The room was small and I kept tripping over the 1 inch high crease in the carpet that went across the room just as you walk past the first side of the bed to get to the rest of the room. The cabinet door that has the drawers behind it was barely hanging from the hinges. We didn't use them so it wasn't a big thing for us. Overall it was a good getaway for us.
Napua J — Google review
Mold infested room. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. I came to celebrate my sister's wedding and was put in a mold infested ocean view. I was so busy the first day and didn't notice the mold until the second night while laying in bed about to sleep. When I called to let the operator know they down played the mold and said they would send housekeeping to clean it up. I told them this isn't something you can clean up. It was clearly obvious the mold had been there for some time. If you look closely the mold was painted over to with paint that didn't even match the room. The mold was so bad it was coming through the second coat of paint. When housekeeping came they decided the room wasn't fit for me to stay in so they had me pack up and moved to a temporary disability room without a view. Mind you I'm not disabled. I paid $329 a night for the view and woke up to construction. Before moving rooms I was told they would get me in my third and final room early that morning but I wasn't moved until the evening. I was never notified when my room was ready. I went back and forth from stressful bridesmaids duties to the front desk a few times to ask if my room was ready. I had to pack my things twice in 3 days until I was finally moved in a room that fit what I paid for. My left eye was twitching the whole weekend bc of how stressed I was. After 2.5 days of being inconvenienced I was only rewarded a $200 credit. I was shocked I didn't get remembered for all the night I had an issue. When I contacted customer care after my stay they emailed me to say "You are absolutely right that this is not something that should ever have occurred, and I regret that it was not handled with the urgency and care you deserved from the very beginning. While I am glad to hear that our team attempted to make amends with a room credit, I recognize that this gesture did not match the seriousness of the inconveniences and discomfort you endured." After the email I felt as if something else was going to be done to compensate my horrible first 3 days but Nothing was done once more. I'm not 109% sure but I believe the room number was 909. I will never come back to stay here!

Nestled in the heart of Waikiki, Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa offers a luxurious stay with stunning Pacific Ocean views. Guests can enjoy an urban oasis on the 8th floor with panoramic beach views, an infinity lap pool, hot tub, and a pool bar serving specialty cocktails.
I am inpatient to write a review: it was very nice and joyful experience! I highly recommend buying only 'ocean view' rooms. It's absolutely worth it! The hotel is located close to the beach, and we would enjoy the amazing ocean views every day. Also, they have a gameroom with shuffle board, pool, Foosball, and air hockey open from 10am to 10pm for all hotel guests for free, and it helped us have fun when we weren't on the beach. The customer service is very good. We had loud neighbors who were being loud late night and smoked, so we couldn't open a balcony. The receptionist politely helped us to move to another room. She was very nice and helpful.

My husband and I were very excited for our first time in Hawaii but we’re very disappointed with the mandatory "resort fee" of $55 daily during our recent five-day stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. It was quite disappointing to discover this charge for amenities that are typically complimentary at most hotels, such as pool access, towels, and game room facilities. We found this particularly frustrating as we did not utilize the pool and the daily activities often appeared to be unoccupied. While I understand that hotels may have additional charges, the mandatory nature of this fee, especially for services we did not use, significantly impacted our overall experience. An additional $255 for services not utilized, on top of the room rate and announced only upon arrival, is not something I believe provides value. I recommend you to consider how these fees affect your guests' perception and encourage you to allow your guests to make the most of their visit by exploring the beautiful island rather than feeling obligated to use paid amenities.

Had a great experience for our first time at a Marriott. The employees were all extremely friendly and welcoming. From the pool attendants to the cleaning staff everybody was very sweet. Got upgraded to an ocean view room which was beautiful. Lots of different amenities to choose from in the hotel and you are just a two minute walk from the beach so it’s a prime location. I would recommend coming here!

ATMOSPHERE: Located near the east end of Waikiki on a one-way street between Kuhio & Kalakaua Ave's. The hotel is not directly on the beach - it's separated by Kalakaua Ave but is as close to the beach you can get. Short walking distance to the zoo but a pretty good walk to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the hot spots of central Waikiki. The entrance is nothing exciting. You're greeted with a valet desk, stairs and walls. There is a spacious reception desk and lobby bar with lounge area suited for the techie (outlets, outlets and more outlets!) Spacious, but no warm ambiance. You get the feel of being in a hotel in Asia with the light-colored ceramic tile treatment. ROOM: We've stayed her numerous times and most recently in the presidential suite. DINING: There are several options like Sansei and DK Steakhouse. POOL: We're not pool loungers while in Oahu but there is a small but nice outdoor pool located on I believe the 3rd floor. OVERALL: Nice location and great views.

We had a wonderful stay here. Rooms were clean, location was amazing right next to the beach! You are close to Ohua beach on the one hand, which is great for the smaller kidos (shallow, no waves), and to Queen's beach on the other hand, which is perfect for snorkling! The hotel gives you two free beach chairs every day, which were also very helpful. Overall nice staff, though it feels like everyone is just trying to sell you something. Overall we had a great experience, and would definitely come again.

Came here with my husband through a costco vacation package. The facility was nice; free beach towel rental, 2 pools (1 family, 1 Adult only), and a decent sized gym. While our room had a pretty great view of the ocean, it was unfortunately placed right beside the elevators. Around 6 am, you will be awaken by the frequent use of the elevators. It sounded like there was a rollercoaster right next to us. We also booked a king size bed, but what we got was definitely not that size. It was closer to a queen size bed which was disappointing. The room was overall clean, however some of the sheets we got had stains on it (it looked like it was cleaned, just had old "cleaned" stains). My husband unfortunately hurt himself and we were not able to enjoy our last day in hawaii, and so we requested for a late check out, only to be charged $175USD. What I don't understand is that my friend who was in a similar situation, requested for a late check out and got it for free. Doesn't seem like there's any consistency in treating guests. TLDR; Not worth the 4 star price.

I have to say that I am very disappointed. I had to move from my room that was a tad bit more quieter to a room that is facing the parking lot and there is noise, people slamming their car doors back-and-forth waking me up when I work 12 hours shifts a day. The reason why I’m making this review is because when I got my room switch my toilet seat was dirty housekeeping did not clean the toilet. It was brown as in someone had used the bathroom and did not clean up after themselves. I was totally grossed out. I did call the front desk, but I could not wait as I had to use the bathroom myself so thank goodness I had cleaning products and I cleaned the toilet and sanitized it myself. Not to mention my food went bad and I had to call to get another refrigerator delivered to my room, but I had already explained to the front desk and asked if I can get another refrigerator and they told me no, and they also told me that I was not able to switch rooms to a better one. Hot water gets turned off constantly, and there is construction being done on the balconies, which is annoying especially if you’re trying to sleep. Also before I made a switch to my room, which is more smaller housekeeping was also not cleaning my shower. I specifically took the privacy door off of the door to have them clean my room and when I came back to my room my shower Was not clean. There was one time they did not even give me any toilet paper.

My family stayed at the Marriott for about a week and we loved it! Perfect location in between everything. Since day one that we arrived Carl was extremely helpful & cheerful. He always went out of his way to talk to us and suggest places to visit. The room was very spacious and the rooftop view was breathtaking! Perfect for kids as well, my 5 year daughter had a blast in the pool. Definitely will be staying here whenever I return to Hawaii!

The OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort is an upscale hotel offering beach access, an outdoor pool, and three dining options. The hotel's outstanding feature is its open beach access just footsteps from the freshwater pool. Guests can enjoy light-filled rooms with balconies and access to a private lounge for Voyager 47 Club rooms. Dukes Waikiki restaurant offers good vibes and live music by Hawaiian musician Henry Kapono on lazy Sunday afternoons.
Fantastic hotel. Staff were extremely helpful. Doubt we could have found a better location. We had requested a twin room. Our room had 2 double beds but room was not cramped. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a corner room so had a view of the beach and a view of the city as well. Had an issue first day with our safe but a lovely gentleman arrived and sorted it immediately. The pool area is beautiful and dukes bar and restaurant served lovely food. Would recommend the fish tacos. The receptionist desk staff were extremely helpful. Hotel was peaceful at night so no issues sleeping in the extremely comfortable beds. Would definitely choose to stay here again

Our stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort was just grand. From the quick check in process to the simple check out. Of course, everything in between was perfect. We were lucky to be upgraded to a partial ocean view on the 16th floor. Our room was quite large and spotless. Getting to use elevator "D" was quite accommodating. All staff members were polite and very helpful. Having the free breakfast/lunch buffets at Dukes and The Hula Grill was a big plus. Having the beach and ocean just right outside of the resort was so convenient. Everything we needed was right at our doorstep. Every time was stay at the Outrigger, we renew our vows. The ceremony was simple, yet very personal, even though we were with several other couples. We look forward to returning to this wonderful resort.

We just stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience. I told the reservation agent that it was my husband's 60th birthday and when we got to our room (oceanfront) it had been upgraded to a jacuzzi room! That was a surprise and a welcome feature to have after a long day of swimming and exploring the island. We were on the 11th floor and the lively music from Duke's downstairs was almost unnoticeable when we closed the balcony doors. Housekeeping was friendly and thorough and everything was in working order. We've been to Waikiki several times and the oceanfront view, convenient breakfast downstairs at the Hula Grill and beach right out the back of the hotel made for a perfect stay.

This hotel is perfect.....easy access to the beach and local stores with an unbeatable ocean view!! It was beautifully decorated and clean. It was steps away from the shuttle bus stop and a short walk to the trolley our travel plan used. The ocean view from our room was spectacular! The staff was always pleasant and courteous. The food in the restaurants were outstanding! Would highly recommend!!!

This is my favorite hotel on Waikiki Beach. I've stayed here many times since 1989. We upgraded to an Ocean View room which had a beautiful view. It's worth noting that Duke's has entertainment at night and it can be loud if you're Ocean front or on a lower floor. Duke's and Hula Grill are both great restaurants on site, but can draw big crowds. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The hotel staff were all amazing. They were professional, friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. At check in, we had an issue with our third party reservation and Henry (Guest Services) spent nearly two hours trying to help us fix it and never lost patience. The 3rd party error didn’t get resolved, but Henry made up for it and that first impression made our whole vacation. When we tried the cultural activities, Kekoa, went out of his way and spent a great deal of time discussing Hawaiian culture with us and I am sure told us things that we wouldn’t have learned about the deep culture elsewhere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept. Housekeeping was super friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future.

Loved this place, me and the WHOLE FAM spent 10 days here and it was just great! POOL WAS BOMB!! I loved the poolside service the kids were ADDICTED to ordering all the virigin pinacoladas they could get, me and the wife were just having a grand time on the beach with cocktails in hand!! Whoo!! PRO TIP one of yall got to wake up at 5am to go get first pick on beach/pool chairs though man! That was quite the adventure. We had an ocean front view and I still remember it so clearly, sunset was always beautiful, the restaurant below always had nice music playing for ambiance. For reference I was in room 325. Best spending of my damn money. We didn't have to anywhere else but our hotel room honestly. TAKE ALL MY MONEY. Anyways, definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful 10 night stay here, rooms and bed very cosy and comfortable. Nice ocean view from the room. Lifts were one major flaw, sometimes waiting 5+ minutes because of the system they have in place, remedied this with staff guiding us to the slightly hidden staircase to utilise! Would definitely stay again :)

A dream come true. The staff were so wonderful and helpful and attentive. The room had the most gorgeous patio facing the shore. So quiet and serene. The spa was divine! The location was perfectly secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I can't wait to go back!

My company held an event here - and the staff were absolutely amazing! From prior planning to the actual night of the event, everything went extremely smooth! Joy Ohata was my POC prior to the event and she was exceptional. Vanessa, Kyle and Dean were also wonderful. The entire staff were accommodating and very pleasant to work with. The rooms were also large, clean and very beautiful!

I haven't officially stayed here as a guest, yet. But my family has come here on many occasions for breakfast or lunch at their plumeria beach house resturaunt. It's a beautiful location where you can see the ocean, as well as when you're done eating, you're free to roam the area and see the beautiful architecture and structure of the hotel. They also have Dolphins here that you get to see. Which they are quite playful. Just...for me, I have my own personal views on this. But beside that, none the less and regardless, it's how they get attention as a tourist attraction. And these Dolphins have sprayed me with water with water on occasion as I would watch them, of course they don't do it purposefully, but as a small playful gesture to some guests who just kinda stand there watching. But the food here is incredible and of good quality. 👍 Good for parties as well, cuz we hosted a party of about 20 and they helped with providing one choice bentos for everyone, which were surprisingly well catered. And good for birthdays as well. ^_^ So please check out the Kahala Hotel and Resort, as it is a beautiful area and their beach area is quite nice as well. :3

This place is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful stay. What makes this place extra special is the service. The staff is very attentive, kind and accommodating. We couldn't believe how well the staff took care of us - as simple as cleaning and organizing our rooms for us while we were out and about. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Also this hotel is very quiet. It's tucked away from the city. Our beach was also quiet and not crowded at all.

We loved our stay at The Kahala Hotel! The property is stunning and so peaceful. Our ocean view room was perfect with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, and I bet the golf course views were amazing too. The food was great, and the breakfast buffet was unmatched. Plumeria Beach House was our favorite spot with delicious food and beautiful indoor-outdoor seating right by the private Beach. Seeing the dolphins up close was interesting but also a little heartbreaking. They are such smart, social animals, and the swimming space isn’t big or deep, with their backs exposed most of the time. It felt like such a small space for them. Overall, the property feels posh yet relaxed, the staff were amazing, and the turn-down service was such a nice touch. Great stay barring the dolphin enclosure!
Parvathy — Google review
We spent a resort day at The Kahala Hotel & Resort and it was absolutely amazing! The pool and beach setup with private chairs facing the beautiful ocean made for the perfect relaxing day. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and welcoming. While we didn’t stay overnight, if we were to plan a full vacation in Hawaii, this would definitely be the place. A special bonus was watching the dolphins with their trainers throughout the day—it was such a unique and wonderful experience to see. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable time in Honolulu! Thank you for an amazing day!
Tom J — Google review
This is a great hotel. I stayed for a week. However I was really bothered that 6 dolphins are kept captive here. They have never known a moment of freedom in their lives (they range in age from 17 to 40 years). In the wild, these majestic and intelligent animals swim for miles and dive deep and live in complex social structures in their pods. Here they have none of that, instead they jump for fish and pose for photographs with tourists. This is no way to treat animals.
Muhammad F — Google review
This is a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, a beautiful beach, great staff, and good food. I would love to stay there again but they have dolphins in captivity. In 2025! This is torture for them - like solitary confinement for dolphins. There's just no excuse.

Sandwich shop
Burgers On Bishop is a no-frills burger joint with a comic book-themed setting. The place offers braised burgers and sandwiches in a small space with about a dozen bar stools against a horseshoe-shaped high-top table. The kitchen is in a separate room, and the dining area faces the assembly line for the burgers and food storage, which may not be appealing to everyone. However, visitors praise the friendly staff and delicious menu, where they can customize their burgers as they like.
So delicious! Great family atmosphere with a great family running it! We all tried different things, but only grabbed 2 pictures. Teri Burger and Doe A Deer burger. The Wave Fryders we're yummy as well and the owners were so incredibly welcoming. Stop by and you won't be disappointed for sure! Parking is a little tricky, but street parking is near.
Katie K — Google review
As their Open sign said, they're awesome! My teri burger was sadly only a 3.5 starer, but the wagyu burger and customer service easily bumps this place up to 5 stars. The puns were a good inclination as to how cool the people running this place are, but the food and ample parking in the back also make it worthwhile for a trip back. They also just started doing delivery Tuesday-Thursday (orders have to be in from 8:30-10:30am) to make it even more convenient to enjoy and easy to hit up the prime rib plates that look AMAZING.
Riki H — Google review
The burger patties on their main burgers are preformed patties. Not sure if they're frozen or not but they taste like it. Not made to order either they were in a warmer. Macaroni and cheese was mediocre on my burger. Fries were pretty good. They said their specialty burgers are handmade and seasoned and all that so I might change my rating if I go back and try one. Not quite sure why it has such a high rating. Too much marshmallow or whatever they put in the cookies, made them tough chewy. Limited menu as well
Benzo B — Google review
Awesome staff and outstanding burgers. Def a no-frillls spot that wouldn't be for everyone but it was perfect for what I was looking for. Restaurant is small on the inside with only about a dozen bar stools that are up against a horseshoe-shape configured high-top table. The eating tables face the assembly line for the burgers and the fridge/food storage which might be unsightly for some people. There's also a utility sink in the dining area next to the soda machine. Kitchen is in a separate room. Menu is simple with a handful of different burgers and sandwiches. I ordered the Wagyu burger and I would highly recommend it. Just make sure to grab plenty of napkins. Great lunch spot for those liking a laid-back atmosphere. Simple and fun atmosphere with a friendly staff. Just make sure to get there early if going for dinner since they close at 6.

Had trouble finding parking, but the food made it worth the walk! Cute comic book themed interior and the burgers are absolutely amazing! I had the doe a deer burger and it was out of this world delicious. Don't be intimidated by the pineapple chutney, trust me, somehow it works!

Great lunch place...hidden gem...tucked away on 1st floor of an office building. Burger and catch of the day sandwich were excellent.

It was pretty good. I got the teriyaki Burger. Mine was a little crispy, luckily the teriyaki sauce covered up the burnt taste. It was only burnt on one side, the Burger was still juicy. My wife's Burger was better.

‘Ōlena by Chef Ron Simon is a health-conscious restaurant in Honolulu that offers a variety of dishes made with simple, clean, and high-quality ingredients. The menu includes rice bowls, sushi, burgers, fish & chips, jumbo sliders, pineapple calamansi drink, poke bowl, truffle fries, soba noodle salad and gluten-free almond tarts. They also serve cold-pressed juices made from locally sourced organic ingredients.
Chef Ron Simon is very talented! The idea that he is sharing fine dining on a to go plate it’s crazy !!!!!! I have been a client of this restaurant since 2019, back then he was already well known for his delicious menu! I’m always so very exited to share my experiences at the restaurant with all my friends and family when they stop by the island. You can often catch his wife at the front of the store! Her welcoming smile and fun sense of humor is so complementary to Ron’s beautiful meals. De kind of home feeling that you can only get on a family owned restaurant. Sorry no pictures of the food it’s yummy that I forget to take pictures of it every time! It is wheelchair accessible and since they moved to this new location there is seating area in the food court! Update, found some old photos but I promise not to be so greedy next time and take pictures before I eat all the yummy stuff!

Wow… I am visiting from Canada and happened across this place because I was at Costco close by… hands down best banh mi and Filipino lemonade I’ve ever tried. The pork adobo was juicy, the crispy onions were an amazing added texture and flavor, and the picked radish, carrot, and cucumber gave an amazing acidity and depth. The bun was perfectly crunchy and soft. And the Filipino lemonade was so tasty and hydrating. Please do not miss out on this place. Incredible food, and the service by Rose and Ron was cherry on top. Support your local spots! Skip the line at the Costco food court and walk 5 minutes to ‘OlenaHi. You want to find a hidden gem? This is the place.

6 stars if we could! Came here with my daughters during our vacation and everything we ordered was amazing. The lady working was so enthusiastic and the nicest. We had filipino lemonade and mango passion tea for drinks and those were perfect too. Especially the beef brisket was the best thing. The sauce with the cold soba noodles was absolutely delicious as well. Definitely recommend and we will be back!
Tracy G — Google review
A nice little find inside of near empty Dole Plantation Foodcourt next to Costco. I had the adobo pork belly. We all know there are many ways that adobo can be prepared, but this place’s adobo was different and it was excellent. It looks like the pork was stewed and then fried. It was tender and flavorful. The best adobo I’ve had here or on the mainland. I ordered with half salad and half Olena rice (rice with turmeric). After ordering, you can eat your food in the roomy air conditioned sitting area. And the iced tea was very good as well.

Stopped by today about 11 am, just when they opened. Great call because by 11:30 the line was long. The owner, Rose was so friendly, took time to share the menu. We had the Red Wine Beef Stew, potato salad (or you could have toss green), and rice which was all excellent. The brisket was very tender and the stew gravy was so tasty! It was worth the price! We also had the Adobo Pork Belly Banh Mi. The adobo is not dark or vinegary like regular pork adobo. The pork belly was very tender. Excellent sandwich! We also bought the Poi Dessert Sampler & Original Banana Poi dessert for gifts for some friends. Will need to try them ourselves next time! We also got to meet Chef Ron! Mahalo Rose and Chef Ron! We’ll be back for sure! Can’t wait to try the Loco Moco!

Wow what a delicious, unassuming, and friendly spot! The freshness of the ingredients is apparent and they're more than happy to explain their entrees. Which brings me to my next point, impeccable customer service and genuine kindness. This was my second time visiting their cozy location and I can say with the utmost confidence, I will be back. My only regret was not getting her name as she made the visit that more enjoyable.

Customers praise the delicious snacks, perfect packaging, unique flavors, and friendly customer service. The addictive nature of the beef chips is highlighted along with the assortment of flavors available.
Love the jerky from here. Living in California, I'm glad I can still order. Unfortunately, last week my order was delivered to the wrong address. However, Chad immediately responded and helped resend an order out to me. Amazing customer service and friendly staff that go above and beyond!

These guys are amazing! Super friendly people and super flavorful jerky. If you’re looking for a unique gift or just a great snack, be sure to stop here.
S T — Google review
My favorite beef jerky "chips" and homemade snack store on Oahu. All of their Core flavors are solid with my personal favorites being the Oxtail Soup and Yakiniku. Keep in touch with their Instagram and social media and they'll let you know about weekly specials like Garlic Butteryaki (I wish this one was a regular flavor) and Steak & Onions (the dehydrated marinated onions are so ono). Their freeze dried candies like the Strawberry Guri Guri is also delicious and good for the kids too (if you're a 90's kid like me, it's kind of like astronaut ice cream) I always like to stop by and pick up a few things whenever I'm in the Ala Moana area. Also gotta give a big shout out to the staff. I've been visiting their tables at conventions and buying from their site. The owner Davin and his crew are some of the nicest and friendly guys around. Last year they helped me with a huge order of snacks that was for Christmas gift at my workplace. Not only was everything top quality but they got my order finished a week early too. Come Christmas that year, everyone at work was asking for more. Davin and/or Chad, if you guys are reading this, I'll always be thankful for all that hard work and hopefully you'll bring back your awesome Chex Mix one day. For beef jerky, pork rinds and other delicious homemade snacks, Snack Addicted is an easy reccomendation for me.

Best. Chips. Ever. Have you ever wanted your beef jerky to be a little thinner, a little crispier, and not get stuck in your teeth as much? Well then you found the best place possible. I was hooked from the first bag, these are my favorite snacks hands-down. LOVE the new mini bags, too!

Will continue to order for years to come!! Even my dogs approve of their pet treats! :) love them! Also I should add I order all the way from AL!! Arrives in perfect condition every time and shipping is FAST! Always impressed!

This is the BEST place to get your Crispy style Beef Jerky Chips. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. My personal favorites are Japanese Curry and Cracked Pepper but they have a variety to choose from. They have Core flavors daily and special flavors they rotate weekly. They also sell flavored Pork Rinds and Freeze Dried Treats. They also ship if you don’t live in Hawaii and need to have your treats. The people that work there are the kindest and sweetest people you will ever meet.
Roberta O — Google review
I love these guys at Snack Addicted and they are some friendly people. I'm from the U.S ordering these and let me tell you, these are good snacks. Shipping was wonderful and my stuff actually came earlier than expected! Their beef chips are really addicting and I've found myself wanting more, the more I eat them. I purchased the Yakiniku (Thick cut) Beef chips and the Freeze dried Strawberry Ice cream. Those two are my personal favorite items. I personally am not a huge fan of the thin cut chips and the thick cut was better for me. The Yakiniku beef chip flavoring does not hit just once when eating it, it stays the whole ride. The Strawberry Ice cream was also amazing. Small morsels of ice cream that you can just pop in your mouth to-go. All pieces are scooped pretty evenly, and they are a interesting and fun alternative to just regular ice cream. The customer service was wonderful. They sent me an email checking up to see how my order went and asked me about the things I got and what I liked. Overall a 10/10 with this company and I hope to purchase more in the future!

Cookie Corner is a beloved spot for cookie lovers, offering a variety of flavors like M&M, snickerdoodle, brownie, s'mores, and peanut butter. The store's practice of keeping the cookies warm before sale adds to the experience. Customers appreciate the nostalgic feel and reasonable price of $3.79 per cookie in Hawaii. While some find the snickerdoodle too sweet, others enjoy its delicious taste.
Oh so good! I love the S'mores cookie and the Oatmeal Raisin. Delicious! Plus the employees are really nice.

Cookie Corner sells different cookies such as M&M, snickerdoodle, brownie, s'mores, peanut butter, etc. I appreciate the effort of the store keeping the cookies warm before getting sold. The warm chocolate melt of the M&M compliments the cookie very well. The snickerdoodle was delicious too, but could be too sweet for some cookie lovers. $3.79 (without tax) is a understandable price for a piece of cookie in Hawaii. 7.3 out of 10. Decent tasting cookie with a decent price tag. Wouldn’t go here just to get cookies, but might stop by if one’s craving cookie during a visit to Pearlridge Center.

Man do I ever love these cookies. So delicious and tasty. Love sharing with my grandkids. Or just eat them by myself. Hard to walk by the store and smell the aroma and resist the urge to buy a dozen or so of my favorite ones. The chocolate chip and walnut cookies are the best!

Went to the Cookie Corner close to Inspiration Furniture Store in Pearlridge. My 4 yr old grandson wanted chocolate chip cookies. He took one bite and threw it on the floor. The cookie was hard and dry. Normally it's moist and chewy. Will never go to that Cookie Corner.

The best cookies I have ever tried out of all fresh baked cookie companies and I have tried so many different places while traveling. None of the cookie companies on the mainland can even compare. The only con is that the cookies are way too sweet but I guess it's hard to make reduced sugar cookies and still have it taste good?

This is my first ever review not because I haven't enjoyed good service but, Girls Who Bake... well they went above and beyond anyone's possible standard of amazing service. My sister who lives in Honolulu was celebrating her birthday, and I live in Canada. I ordered flowers that were supposed to be sent to her, only to find out that the flower shop didn't deliver on Sunday's. Sooooo... scramble I did and found Nina at this bakery, and she not only made a short notice order of 3 dozen cookies, but she also personally delivered them on her way home. My sisters review of the cookies were "OUTSTANDING" Thank you so very much Girls who bake... you're simply amazing!!!!

I will 100% use them for any upcoming events and will continue to recommend them to everyone!!!

The girls who bake next door, made my wedding cake. Me and my husband decided to have a destination wedding in Oahu, and we had never been to this bakery before. So i relied on the good reviews to decide, and they did not disappoint at all! They did an excellent job executing my vision for the design of my cake and procured the fresh purple orchids for the topper for a reasonable price. The cake was moist and the passionfruit cream filling was excellent. Very light and not overpowering. The buttercream frosting was also excellent, and everyone raved about the cake. They were very reasonable and did not overcharge me for delivering to the reception restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend this bakery. They were a pleasure to work with. ‐Kayla

Clarisse & Jennifer at The Girls Who Bake Next Door were a pleasure to work with! They maintained consistent and clear communication throughout the online order process to work with me to get a cupcake delivery out to a client turned around ASAP. I will definitely be working with them again when doing business in the Honolulu area and would recommend them to anyone looks for a tasty treat or professional delivery service.

Cookie shop
If you find yourself wandering through Honolulu, make sure to stop by The Cookie Lady Hawaii, a delightful little bakery that feels like a warm hug. As soon as you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly baked cookies envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable treat. This cozy shop is not just about cookies; it’s also home to a friendly dog who adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The staff exudes warmth and kindness, making your visit feel like part of their family.
Hands down the best cookies in Hawaii. I’ve had tried all the flavors and never been so satisfied! They are all worth trying absolutely delicious. Hand made is hard to find but that’s not all that sets these cookies apart. The warmth and kindness has added to my lovely experience being a fan of The Cookie Lady Hawaii.

Okay, so listen: These cookies are absolutely as magical and singular as the wonderful woman who makes them. I cannot speak highly enough of the super sweet humans that run this operation, or the gigantic, unbelievably delicious cookies and goodies that they make with such love! The fact that they love what they do is evident, both in every bite and their stellar customer service. They make the perfect gift for any occasion and are sure to impress. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone who needs a little sweetness in their life. Thank you, Mitzi, for the magic you make and the person you are!

A friend gave me some Cornflake cookies years back and I thought it was the best cookies I've ever had! I've always told myself whenever I go back to Oahu, I must stop by Cookie Lady Hawaii to buy some Cornflake cookies to bring back. Well, I did finally come back to Oahu, and I came to Cookie Lady Hawaii the day before I had to leave Oahu. I looked around the store... and there were no cornflake cookies to be found! The girl working there told me they were all sold out for the day, and they'll stock them again tomorrow afternoon. My heart was crushed... my flight is at noon the next day so there was no way to get the cookies on this trip. That is until the girl kindly asked when my flight is and chatted with someone in the kitchen. She told me they can have cornflake cookies ready when they open tomorrow at 10am. I was overjoyed, and I did not care if I was going to be late for my flight LOL. She took down my name and how much I planned to buy. I got to the store as soon as they opened the next day, and they had the cookies ready for me! Thank you so so much to the girl helping me, and to the owners and kitchen staff for accommodating my schedule. This was very kind and meant a lot to me! I will definitely be back again!

We came across this little gem on our way to lunch. The shop is really nice and cozy. First thing we noticed was the sweet scent of freshly baked cookies. Then greeted by such a nice and well behave dog. Assuming that was a boy, he was very gentle and greet us. Can't help petting him while looking at all the delicious cookies. The staff was very polite and looks like family business. It has to be because the cashier was a girl probably owner little girl. LOL. Anywho, the matcha cookie is very good. not overly matcha. Will see how the conflake flare out.

This place is really great! These cookies are light and crunchy, which make them tasty without being overbearing. I liked the lemon and furikake mix cookies the most, but you can't really go wrong with any flavor. The service was excellent and provided samples to test the flavors.

Restaurant
Forty Carrots is a popular spot known for its soft serve and oversized cookies with huge milk chocolate chips. It's considered one of the best restaurants in Honolulu, offering fresh soups, salads, and varied and tasty entrees with large portions. The 3-course lunch includes an appetizer, entree, and delicious frozen yogurt. While it may not have an outdoor balcony like Mariposa, it still offers excellent food without the long wait times.
One of the best restaurants in Honolulu. I've eaten there twice and everything is exceedingly great. Soups and salads are legitimately fresh and the flavors are delicious. The entrées are varied and tasty. Portions are large and satisfying. Try the 3 course lunch that includes appetizer, entrée and awesome frozen yogurt. This place is better than Mariposa but since it doesn't have an outdoor balcony it doesn't get the large crowds. The small crowds allow the chef the ability to prepare the foods perfectly.

I’d been excited to dine at Forty Carrots since learning that it has launched the local careers of several well-regarded Hawaii-based chefs. Unfortunately, despite sampling dishes across the menu I left underwhelmed given the hype and price point (expect to pay at least $30 p/person for lunch not including tip). The food leaned toward farm or ocean to table and was underpinned by good, albeit a bit stingy amount of ingredients. Service was very stretched - one waiter was running around covering the entire noon-2pm rush. The decor is blah and seating tight. So, not a great choice for anything intimate or even private. Hate to be so negative, but this place just did not meet expectations. My recommendation - get one of their smoothie or frozen yogurts to go and shop on for a different full restaurant.

Sadly, the flavors seems to be mainly about salt. The bouillaibasse appetizer, which I got and had two pieces of shrimp and a quarter square inch of fish only, was very salty. The French dip was way too salty, too. Appetizers such as the potato chips and caviar are probably good for two people only. The shrimp appetizer was supposed to have four pieces of shrimps according to the server, but came with only three. It's not worth the money for what we ate today.

Good food but the wait time was a bit long. Most things were a bit pricey.

Food was excellent. Staff refilled drinks promptly. Their froyo does not have the sour taste a lot of people dislike.

Pity that the service was indiiferent. I was reccomended the lobster on the menu but the waitress stood arms akimbo and took my order verbally and from a distance.

Very fresh salads which have some very cool ingredients. A very good range of smoothies and juices.
