The Pig and TheLady was amazing! All the dishes I ordered at this restaurant were delicious. The pho was especially tasty, and I ended up ordering extra ahi because it was so good. The staff were all friendly and had great energy, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was very hip and trendy. Highly recommend!

I found this place through scrolling Reddit (thanks to the Redditor who suggested this place for Prime Ribs). Definitely not known to the mainstream Chinese and Japanese tourists yet so will try to keep it that way. This is a hole in the wall type of place. The food is amazing, prices are good value and the place is extremely hectic. There is no AC in the cafe so it is really hot in there. Prime Ribs are only available on Fri and weekends only. Do call before going to confirm and you can place phone orders before reaching the place.

Get their fried rice loco moco and thank me later!!! It's hands down one of the best loco mocos I've had! Oh yes I still have leftovers in my fridge! Why did I like it? Coz it's just pure umami in every bite, so good that my hubs who's usually into sweet stuff for breakfast said he would order my dish next time we're here. The over easy egg was cooked perfectly. The gravy was flavorful without being too salty. The burger patty wasn't too greasy but still had a lot of flavor. And omg the fried rice. I don't know why they put in there. It's just heaven for every single bite. Definitely do the fried rice and not the plain white rice. We also got the apple caramel pancakes. It's like apple pie pancakes and it's perfect if you like that apple pie flavor. I enjoyed it especially their pancakes tasted buttery and soft. Also got the clam chowder. Great flavor but not sure why it's slightly yellowish. Maybe the broth they use? It's a way better value to get their bowl versus their cup. They also put a lot of clams in there! Service was prompt and friendly given that they had signs out asking customers to be patient as they're understaffed, like many other restaurants. We paid for our food at the counter, took a number and sat down at a booth. Our server brought the right utensils including a spoon for my bowl of clam chowder. Prices were very reasonable too. I would totally come back for some more food!

The food was beyond words!! EVERYTHING was awesome!! The pad thai was my personal favorite, full of flavor! If you’re not a fan of spice, make sure to ask for them to dilute the spice a bit (it helps!!). The buttermilk fried chicken was excellent. The mochi samples were great, my favorite being the chocolate, but all of them were surprisingly really good!! AMAZING service. Our server, Derek, was so polite and friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes have fun food flavors that play with your taste buds! Overall, this is a very unique and underrated restaurant that I would recommend to any vacationers or locals!!

I’m so happy I found this place! It was 10pm on a Sunday! The owners were so nice and welcoming! The store is bright and clean! Food looks majah!! I got 2 chicken pho & spring rolls!! Going to try the fried rice next time!! No place to sit and eat so take out and go enjoy at home or the park! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Legit Viet food!!

We were downtown looking for somewhere to have lunch and came across J Dolans. I have walked by many times and never went in; today was the day. As soon as I stepped in I was transported back to a neighborhood Boston bar. We sat at the bar and ordered Margarita Pizza which was good size and very flavorful, the crust was crunchy and light. The Jalepeno poppers and onions rings were definitely NOT frozen and were excellent! Service was great! Will definitely be back and recommend!

Great location with everything in stock. I arrived shortly after 10 am and their poke station had everything ready. Fish here is really fresh and buttery. You can’t go wrong w the hot prepared food or any of the drinks here as well. Staff is friendly and you’ll get a discount if you’re a member

This is a very chic cute local spot for some really good food, best we've has since we've been here! Very large portions, friendly service, and nice chill atmosphere. Definitely must visit.

Excellent, low-key atmosphere. We came here on the recommendation of a local friend. The tan-tan men was earthy and noodles were springy and delicious. The tonkatsu was excellently prepared with cabbage, cabbage dressing, a very flavorful miso, and grind your own sesame for the katsu sauce (which was served cold, a new one for me). The pork cutlet was juicy and the batter crispy and light. The cutlet was a little thicker than I like, but delicious still. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this restaurant and would come again!

Today I got to try their Yook Gae Jang, Hot Beef Soup, and it turned out good. The worker, seemed like an owner, was very nice.

Their Salted Fish Chicken Eggplant is a savory masterpiece, rich and perfectly balanced. The Szechuan Spicy JJ Chicken Pot packs a punch with just the right amount of heat and complexity in every bite. And let me tell you, their Honey Walnut Shrimp? Pure perfection--crispy, creamy, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for more. Even their classy Pickled Radish was an excellent standout-refreshing and the perfect palate cleanser between bites. Beyond the food, the service here was just as amazing. Dropped in for an early dinner and had some really tasty fried chicken, poke, and Okinawan stir fried eggplant (Nasubi Chanpuru). Atmosphere inside is like a chill sports bar, and the service was great, super friendly!

A throwback from the bygone days of small cafes in Hong Kong. The menu is quite typical and the food was very tasty. We had the beef briskets & tendon over rice and ginger onion lomein. The briskets and tendons were some of the tenderest I ever had and was right on point. The lomein was quite good as well. The food came out quickly and the sitting area was comfortable and not cramped as in old Hong Kong. It’s getting harder and harder to find a non-Pho restaurant in Chinatown and this is a good one if you are tired of Phos.

The food was absolutely delicious! We got the Ahi Katsu and the NY Steak and both were cooked to perfection. You can tell a lot of thought and aloha goes into the cooking and it seems like everything is made from scratch, which says a lot since it's a one man operation. Also highly recommend the lychee lemonade. We'll definitely be back!
