The greeting was very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is fairly small and has a lovely cosy atmosphere. We ate from the 2 course set lunch menu at £19.50 each and had a starter of Bruschetta, followed by one main of Lamb stew with veg, mash and greens and a Roast chicken breast with mushrooms, potatoes and greens.
