Visited this place after a restaurant run and it was pretty good. I got it regular sweet and let me say, it was sweet once I stirred the mango in (mango matcha). Someone else I was with also ordered a matcha and got regular sweetness and they said it was also pretty sweet to them. So if you’re someone who loves sweet drinks, keep it regular, if not so much, bring down the sweetness level. I did go on a week day during the evening time so no wait when I walked in. Staff was pretty great, no complaints.

Bubble tea. So much fun. So yummy. Our drinks were delicious. The young lady that took our order helped us create our drink since we have only had bubble tea once before and we did not know what to order. I love that I got to choose my sweetness and other additions/ toppings. This is a nice clean little shop with some inside seating. Relaxed atmosphere. If I lived close by I would definitely come here often.

I live and breathe classic pearl black milk tea 80% sweet less ice. The staff is always great and there's a cute seating area with games :) Good location also.

I recently visited Sharetea in Austin and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Thai Pearl Milk Tea and customized it by replacing the boba with lychee jelly and pudding, opting for 25% sweetness level and no ice. The drink was perfectly balanced - the reduced sweetness allowed the rich, authentic Thai tea flavor to shine through. My husband and I have visited this place many times since it’s close to our home. While their boba pearls are consistently good, the drinks themselves have been disappointing. On Friday, April 18 around 7 PM, we ordered two taro drinks, but unfortunately, they were undrinkable and we ended up throwing them away. Hoping it was just an off day, we returned on Sunday, April 20 and ordered a passion tea and a Thai tea. The passion tea was okay, but the Thai tea was very poor quality — I would rate it a 2/10. I mentioned to the cashier that our taro drinks on Friday tasted bad and suggested that the taro mix might have gone bad. Unfortunately, he ignored my comment, continued with the transaction, and did not apologize or acknowledge the feedback. It felt like he didn’t want to be there and didn’t care about customer service. After giving this place several chances because of its convenience and good boba pearls, I’ve decided not to return. I truly hope they improve both their drinks and their customer service in the future.

lowkey not that good. its average. the sugar levels are completely different than the reviews now. now the sugar levels are less sweet. ordered a thai, taro and oolong. the oolong taste was good, but not sweet at all even at 50. the taro was okay, sugar level was good but doesnt taste like actual taro but the coloring at least wasnt a fake purple. the thai was very thick and pasty, very powdery (u can see a ton of powder floating on the top) but i guess thats what most r like. not actual thai tea, just powder- it didnt taste that good. i dont recommend the thai. one of the servers was nice tho

I just realized this location in particular is surrounded by great amenities and why does this kung fu tea place look dead? Great boba drinks but it’s missing something. I just go in and out, it would be a great hangout spot for socializing if there was some entertainment like bored games and a claw machine. Like a makeover to the place, something new that catches people’s attention and wanna come back. Employees are great! I see so much potential in this place but it’s the setting that needs TLC. Also where are the hot drinks!?

It's just ok and not too great. The pearl was too hard and not chewy. Ordered 30% sugar but tasted like 70 or 80% seriously too sweet.

I've come here a couple times and I will say it's probably the worst boba place in town. Some drinks taste super strong and artificial. I've never seen a boba place charge separate for regular tapioca and charge extra for a brown sugar coating. Every other boba place it's like it's the norm for the tapioca to be coated in brown sugar. I guess a sleazy business tactic. The customer service is unfriendly and uninviting. Every time I go in, it's like I need to leave asap when I receive my drink. There's definitely WAY better boba places out there. I'd skip this any day for happy lemon, tea cup, or teapioca lounge. Literally anything else.

I truly love the cocoa cream wow. When I say truly love, I mean it because I ended ordering 5 of those. Not for myself of course. I had to share it with my family.

UPDATE: Made order on their direct site and everything came out correct. Staff was super polite. Mango Tea is great. Tasted good, but my Taro Milk Tea was not purple and was different from other times. It tasted like honey lemonade, so it probably was a different order with my order sticker on it. Done with a Door Dash order with 4 other drinks. If I come back, it'll be in person.

Another nice Boba tea place Had a strawberry milk tea, it was pretty good, had a nice sweet strawberry puree, not all boba shops have a sweet strawberry option. If you like sweet strawberry, this is a good option. The location isn't anything special, pretty standard, small,.minimal decorations, and those metal chairs. Aside from that, another solid offering.

I have been coming frequently since they opened this location and it has been fantastic! The staff amazing and great quality made drinks. However, for the past month or two, I have noticed a decline in the way the drinks are prepared. So someone there, maybe a new employee (because this wasn't an issue before) is making the drinks severely watered down or lacking tea. I've reached the point where I am now starting to have to go to the north locations because I don't want to risk it . Consistency has never been an issue with the south location until recently.

This place has literally the best strawberry milk tea in Austin. The staff are so friendly and quick, I love it! My go-to order is Strawberry Milk Tea 30% sweetness, extra strawberry sauce and creme brûlée foam—It’s absolutely mando!! Even when they are busy (which is often) I’m so grateful the staff can quickly send out orders and I don’t need to wait long. I’m so grateful this place opened in South Austin so I don’t have to travel miles and likes for MID MILK TEA. My only request would be if they can offer milk replacement options just because milk is so heavy on the body. Oat milk, almond milk, I would love to pay for the upgrade if they have this option in the future.

As a bubble tea snob, was skeptical about Gong Cha down in South Austin, but to my pleasant surprise, the tea was delicious and just the way I like it. Got the regular milk tea with boba, full sugar (I like it sweet). Glad there’s a competent and satisfying bubble tea spot in South Austin. Will be going back.

Ordered an earl grey milk tea with pearls (50% sweetness) and it was so good! The service was good. I paid and my drink was ready soo quick!

The drinks here are SO good and the workers here are really nice and they work really fast as well and they have very good customer service. The strawberry milk tea is what I get and it always tastes very good and prices are very reasonable to.

The Cup Boba House is best place to drink a delicious cup of tea with gelatin bubbles. This house is located at 1725-B, Austin, Texas, and offers a huge variety of teas with differents toppings, and others beaverages, as smoothies, fresh fruit tea, Milk tea. It's a good option of refreshment, and i recommend it!

Good place to get your afternoon slump a boost with some of their amazing teas or fruit slush. Only one of the few places I have visited that puts actual fruit on the drink giving it a more natural flavor compared to a sugar and corn sryup filled drink. Bobas are great too! Outside looks nothing like the insid, very nicely decorated and great seating area inside the store. Parking kind limited with only 4-5 spots shared with Boston donuts! Prices are reasonable, not too inflated like most boba 🧋 places nowadays! Definitely worth a visit!

What are fun place to hang out. Lots of games everywhere foosball, connect four, 3D tetris, Jenga, card games, and a bunch more. Boba was great.

I’ve only come here once but this is the best strawberry matcha i’ve had and went back in for a second one. It’s the perfect balance good separately good together. Presentation wise it looks ideal aswell. The workers are friendly and attentive. Good energy inside, I came here by convenience but will be coming again purposely!

A very chill place to hangout and get boba! There’s a smooth jazz and plenty of seating with outlets. The boba is good but nothing special, they have lots of different options. The recommended sugar is 75%, so keep that in mind if you really like or really hate sweet drinks. The bathrooms were a little sketchy, but nothing crazy. Overall an okay spot to hangout or study while getting your boba fix.

We love boba, so of course being in a new city meant we had to find boba. Our friend brought us to this shop, which was located at a gas station. The shop was pretty cute inside and the menu boasted so many options for tea and toppings. I'm in my matcha phase and was so surprised & delighted to see coffee jelly as a topping, so it was a no brainer! I got the matcha latte with coffee jelly, 50% sweet and light ice, while boyfriend stuck with his classic order - Milk Tea with boba and egg pudding. It was quite enjoyable and now obsessed with coffee jelly.

The best milk tea I have ever had in Austin. I always go to the Feng Cha in Houston. I am so happy that they have one in Austin. Creme brûlée Dirty boba is my favorite.

Really kind and patient, willing to answer questions❣️ Open 11am to 9pm located right next to a parking garage close to the PBS building and ACC campus (old Hilghland Mall) Not far from 290 and I-35. Drinks have 4 levels of sweetness. ('Regular' sweetness was too much, says my 13y/o, for the Thai tea) There is an option for ice levels as well. I imagine there is a science to each drink. We haven't quite figured it out. (One of our drinks had a chemical taste) Desserts are very savory with mild sweetness. Very light and delicious. A treat well worth the purchase. Just enough of a morsel to still share.

This the second, larger, newer, and louder Feng Cha location in Austin, and so far, almost good as the first. Unlike the other location, they have some staffing issues, so expect to wait a while for your order until they get that resolved. Like the other location, I usually just get my favorite, the Dirty Boba, with 'Regular Sweet' since I can't imagine it would taste good with any less sugar. The Matcha Love cake was not as carefully prepared as at the other location, it still tasted good, but the consistency of the matcha cream poured over the cake was a little on the thin side, and there wasn't as much of it. They need to work on this...

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. A perfect spot for a casual hangout/date and/or getting in a good study session. Beyond satisfied with my drink (Classic Milk Tea), and by far the best I’ve had in a long time in terms of the quality in taste and a perfectly balanced flavor. Will definitely come back again for more. Highly recommended for those who enjoy an Boba Tea!

Drink is decent, but the boba is literally mush. Theres no sweetness to the boba. Tastes like they just soaked it in water for 3-4 days and forgot about it, or made too much and still decided to keep selling the old batches over multiple days. Very disappointing to pay $6-7 just to get leftover restaurant quality boba :(((

This place is amazing I love how you can customize your own boba drink all the way down to the sweetness.They have many different boba choices, it’s so good and everything looks so good. I could hardly choose what I wanted to get.

They give you a table number and have a whole setup to the right of the ordering counter with condiments, utensils, soup, water, etc. They offer complimentary vegetable soup if you order food and dine in. The soup was actually pretty good--great for sipping on between bites of fatty or fried food. Chicken Nuggets ($8.95): Crispy, Taiwanese-style fried chicken nuggets seasoned with salt, pepper, and fresh Thai basil, served with sweet chili sauce. Tasted pretty authentic, but the portion size was on the smaller side. The nuggets were a good size with a perfectly crispy coating and juicy chicken inside. They also gave a generous amount of fried Thai basil, which paired perfectly with the chicken. Bacon Pork with Rice ($15.95): Braised pork belly served with white rice, boiled eggs, steamed carrots and broccoli, and pickled veggies. Good portion overall. It was a cohesive dish, but just okay--we've had better braised pork belly elsewhere.

I was looking for the chicken phô next door but it is closed until 26June. Aaaaaaaaa. Coco's has Taiwanese food and this was my first time eating it. I had a fried chicken noodle soup. Full of veggies and had a fab garlic onion flavor. Even if it feels like 103° in Austin I love hot soup any day. I prefer grilled or non fried chicken but this soup and Coco's is popular with university crowd. The jasmine tea was quenching. Service is great. Be sure to bus your table and empty your trash near the back. Coco's is is an easy walk from Lavaca to corner of MLKing and Guadalupe. It is across the street from Cane's Chicken.

I ordered Sakura rose milk tea. I could barely taste the flavour. It's very mild. Also the quantity of Tapioca was very less.

So many memories are created here. Love coming back here when in Austin. 🤘 Friendly and fast service. Great drink selections, and they are all very delicious (not too icy and watery). My favorite is Peppercorn Chicken with Rice. It's very crispy but not too oily, perfect with pickled vegetables. Yum!

Love this place! Great place to stop on campus!! I usually get a standard black milk tea or taro with boba, but they have lots of flavors. I didn't see it on my most recent visits, but they used to have one or two almond milk boba drinks which is a rare vegan milk offering for bubble tea shops. The only thing is that food service is VERY slow -- like 25 min.

This has been my always go-to place restaurant when I was a student at the University of Texas at Austin. Located at Guadalupe Street and 20th, this place served authentic Taiwanese foods and drinks. One food item that I always order whenever I come here is Peppercorn Chicken with Rice. It looks extremely simple, but that taste always makes me to come back whenever I visit Austin. Because this is a place that always brings me a memory back, this is my favorite place to visit whenever I am at Austin.

CoCos is 100% a go-to place, we've enjoyed their food numerous times and are always left wanting more! =] We get (each time) -Peppercorn Tofu (so freaking good!!) -Tofu Veggie Lo Mein (request no egg to be safe) -Veggie Steamed Dumplings (some of the best dumplings we've ever had, the sauce is AMAZING) Man.. these dishes are ridiculously good! COVID Notes -We used UberEats, sent straight to our hotel door (on the 9th floor, pretty impressive) -The order was straightforward, quick, convenient & accurate -No issues at all. Thank you, Coco's Cafe, for having fantastic Vegan Options!

Teapioca feels like a very middle of the pack boba shop. The inside is nice but not as cool as some other shops around. The staff weren’t too friendly but ordering was quick. We got a taro milk tea and mangonada. The taro milk tea was delicious and the right amount of sweet. The mangonada was sweet and had a bit of spice that didn’t sit too well with the rest of the flavor. Altogether, it was an alright experience but we would be open to returning to see if things are different the next time around.

Absolutely love this place! Once a month, I always come here with a friend to catch up on life and other updates that have occurred and this place always has great service, great Boba, and stellar atmosphere. I enjoy every time walking through the door, whether it’s a rush or a slow time. 10/10 recommend.

Rarely have any issues with this location. Personable employees always willing to help, plenty of options to choose from for the drinks and add-ins, and yummy limited time or seasonal drinks always popping up makes it a fun place to return to over and over again.

Ice cream coffee is so good and so sweet. I liked Vietnamese coffee better. Taro wasn’t great. Tastes like normal milk. They accept apple pay too.

Come here pretty regularly and just keep forgetting to review it but this is my go-to for boba tea, this time I decided to try something other than boba tea though! My girlfriend and I shared a what I think they’re calling a “snowyn”? I got the mango milky flurry flavor with regular tapioca on it and it was so much better AND bigger than I expected! This thing was giant and covered in mango, a really interesting texture ice cream, boba and even some wafer sticks on top! It was a beautiful to look at and delicious to eat too! Other than the snowyn, their boba tea is also great! Tons of flavors and options to choose from! Their staff are also very friendly and your order always comes very quickly! Highly recommend for anything boba related! 🧋🍨

My first boba This is the first place I tried boba tea. They make a good cup at a reasonable price. Tried their matcha frappioca. Was pleased with a decent strong matcha flavor that has been missing from many of the other boba shops I've tried. Points for that, and a nice fine smoothie ice. Was very happy with this tea. Maybe a tad bit less sweet, but good none the less.

Need a pick me up?! I got the dark Vietnamese coffee (22 oz Sua Da) and most of the macarons. I’m basic so my faves were Vanilla, Chocolate, Birthday Cake, and Tiramisu. Thanks to Jessica for her patience and suggestions! This shop is between Chipotle and Starbucks!

I can't believe it took me so long to try Coco's Cafe. Coco's is a cute, little Taiwanese comfort food cafe that also makes tasty teas, milk teas, and other Asian beverages. I stopped in for a weekday lunch. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They have a free, self-serve vegetable soup for dine-in customers. Quite frankly, I could eat a whole bowl of that soup and be happy. They also have some condiments for your food like soy sauce, jalapeno soy sauce, chili paste, green onion, cilantro, and more. I got the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings and the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The dumplings were bigger than I expected and super tasty. The dough was soft and the side sauce matched perfectly. The noodle soup was absolutely wonderful. I didn't make a single flavor change to it. The noodles were thick and chewy and the broth was ginger-forward. The amount of beef in the soup was unreal too. I barely made a dent in the food before getting full and ended up taking a ton home for leftovers. I really can't wait to go back and try more items off of their menu.

We came to Coco’s Cafe for the first time to enjoy a Father’s Day sweets treat, and it did not disappoint! Their large bowl of shaved ice was only $6—what a deal! The portion was generous, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings either. Every bite was refreshing and flavorful, perfect for a warm day. To our surprise, they also served us free soup with our order, which was a cozy and thoughtful touch we didn’t expect at a dessert spot. Tbh Coco's is probably my favorite place and my go to place. So then why not a 5-star? Well I think the way the food taste doesn't stay consistent. My usual order is Peppercorn chicken but for the last few times I've ordered it, it's either salty, bland or oily. The very last time I ordered it, the chicken didn't taste like there was any seasoning on it, so i didn't particularly like it. This time I got Pork rice and it was really good. You also get complimentary soup (it has carrots and cabbage in it) The boba isn't the best but I wouldn't expect it to taste like drinks from actual boba shops (since their focus is probably mainly on the food) I also love the fried tofu and donut buns so I recommend getting those. There's a good amount of tables and I've never had issues finding a table, even when there's a long line. Parking can be a little limited during busy hours.

Our plan was canceled due to rain and we were just walking around the area looking for comfort food. Ended up wounding up at this cafe without meaning to. The food was DELICIOUS!! Authentic Taiwanese fried chicken and fried pork chop rice. The noodle was also a hit. The most surprising component is actually the complimentary soup. It was just like the soup I have in my hometown Taipei. Very delighted to find this cafe. Shave ice to end our meal was also above my expectation. Will be back next round to Austin.

I always loved Coco's Cafe for their perfect bubble tea and green onion pie and this time was no different. Both were excellent as always. It's a low-key establishment that just delivers great food with a smile and impeccable service.

I recently visited this place with a friend to beat the scorching heat. The place was beautifully clean and had some lovely music playing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And let me tell you, the drinks were absolutely delicious! They were well-made and refreshing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

What made the experience even better was the exceptional customer service I received. The staff member who helped me was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. It's clear they hire wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers. I'll definitely be coming back for more smoothies and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality drinks and top-notch service!

I love this place and every time I come in and Bryan’s working, it makes my day a little better. He’s super helpful, always patient, and goes out of his way to make sure everything’s just right. Plus, he’s hilarious — like actually funny, not just polite laugh funny. And I mean he’s also kinda cute.

Small setup inside the 99 Ranch supermarket. My boyfriend and I ordered a spotted cow and a horchata. Both were great. Loved that we can adjust the sweetness and make the drinks to our liking. I have never been disappointed in anything I've ordered from fruitealicious.

Very great location for Fruitealicious! Dorine provided amazing customer service and made everything even better. I ordered the Mango Lassi (classic! so glad it’s back on the menu) and my girlfriend ordered the Taro Latte. Blend on the Mango Lassi was perfect, very smooth and not chunky-icy. Tapioca was PERFECT, always our favorite part of stopping by a Fruitealicious. I didn’t catch the name of the person who made our drinks but clearly she knows how to make things correctly. Owners clearly do a great job of staying on top of operations, you can tell the right core ideals are there throughout. Best part about visiting 99Ranch!

We’ve been coming to this location forever, best boba, and the service, 10/10! Kyle is so easy to talk to, so so nice and sweet! sometimes I come just to see him. 100% recommend!

I don’t know if I ordered the wrong thing here but I feel like this place was overhyped. The inside is pretty cool and the employees are nice but, the bubble milk tea I ordered was just okay. I ordered it on their big tablet inside. I ordered the bubble milk tea and selected the sugar level “Perfect” which I didn’t really know what that meant. The sugar level options are “Perfect,” “Light,” or “No sugar.” So I assumed “Perfect” would be sweet enough for me, or at least better than the “Light” option. When I tasted it though, I thought it could have been a little sweeter. However, I loved that it came wrapped in a string that you could use to carry it easily on the go. That was really cute. Overall, I was a little disappointed that there was very little customization available and that the bubble milk tea tasted just okay.

We recently visited Chicha San Chen, and even though we were a little nervous at first—it’s not exactly the same bubble tea style we’re used to—we ended up being pleasantly surprised. The quality of the tea really shines through, and every drink felt carefully prepared and thoughtfully balanced. Despite the crowd and the long line, the staff kept things moving, and we got our drinks quicker than expected. So glad Houston finally has one of these! Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

I really enjoyed the tea. I tried the Dong Ding Oolong tea with bubbles and the Green fruit gather tea. The oolong was semi sweet with a strong rice flavor. The green fruit gather tea was deliciously sweet with a strong citrus presence. The brewing process of their teas is also very impressive. However, I will say that the bubbles (tapioca pearls) were quite disappointing for such a well renowned tea/bubble tea shop. The best tapioca pearls I’ve ever had is still Cha Community in Waco, Texas.

This bubble tea spot is my absolute fave, even with only 4 locations (Austin, Houston, Carrollton, and CA - I'm stalking them everywhere!). What sets it apart is the tea is freshly brewed right when you order. Plus, the prices are super reasonable and the quality of the tea is on point. Definitely worth a visit (or four)! They are awarded 3-star by the International Taste Institute.

I went in for classic milk tea yesterday. I stood near the counter for a while but no one greeted me. Yes, I knew there’s a online order booth nearby. It made me a little bit upset. Then I ordered my drinks, and it took me a while to get those. I mean they have five people over there, no one is queuing or picking up any orders. Fine. Got my drinks, everything tastes so different from previous experiences since their opening day; the milk tea was okay for the sweetness but hardly can taste the black tea. Is something missing in it? Also, we went for the lime mousse milk tea and it was also not offered yesterday in the menu. Lastly, I went to the restroom and it was dirty on the toilet seat. Okay, yesterday was all off for my weekend tea time experience. Yes, and I need to clean up my table before I enjoyed my order.

You can tell right away they care about quality. The tea tapioca taste perfect, and the space feels modern and clean. Everything’s just done right. Even if you’re not into boba, this place might change your mind.

Too expensive for bad, inconsistent boba. I have gone to Tapioca House about 5 times in the past two months. Everytime I go, it's either mediocrely good boba or a disappointment. There's been twice that I have gotten an order (the strawberry classic tea and the honeydew milk tea), quite enjoyed it, so I got it again, and it tasted completely differently and kinda gross. Today I got a drink with 75% sweetness bc I got 100 last time and it was slightly too sweet for me, but it wasn't sweet at all. I had to come home and pump it full of sugar to even get it to be enjoyable. Also the prices just went up 50¢ for drinks and 25¢ for toppings, yet no change in quality.

All that said- glad to see the place operational & busy. The staff seemed to be on top of things. 👌 April '22 UPDATE: Glad food is on offer after some period of time with no cook! I don't mind the tweaks to the side dishes & style of items (I got a #6 crispy chicken steak combo) and the price increase is most understandable (portions may be even larger). Best in town. I keep coming even though I'm no longer studying or walking across the street. Plus, my mom is hooked. Also, the food is v good; I usually get a meal combo that comes with a jasmine green tea. 150 is my fave. And the green onion pancakes and red pepper peanut magic sauce are each great -- not -always- available but there are back-up options. :)

The strawberry matcha was absolutely delicious! Everyone should try tapioca house, it has been one of my favorites here in Austin since I moved here 4 years ago. Shoutout to my favorite girl Karla that always makes my teas, and to the sweet owners that are always so welcoming and kind!!

Cute, cozy little spot! Milk tea hits the spot, love the wide variety of options available, and the rice + crispy pork was delicious! I do wish the pork was seasoned more, though. I think the seasoning is basically the spice level I asked for, so I wish I asked for more. The spices they used in the spice level is delicious, so next time I'm going for spice level 5 (nope, not that spicy. Go for it). Overall, great place, most definitely returning

Came here after church to grab some boba with a sister in Christ. Their food is so good and their boba very tasty! Not only that, they have board games that you can play inside with your friends while you enjoy their food and drinks. I highly recommend this place! Parking was easy to come by since it was at night, but I could see parking be a problem during the day as it is very cramped being downtown and all. Other than that, I will be back again!

I tried the taro and piña colada smoothies — both were really good! The piña colada had a refreshing tropical flavor. However, the winter melon wasn’t for me — it tasted a bit off and lacked the taste I expected. Would definitely go back for the taro or piña colada, but I’d skip the winter melon next time.

I ordered the mango slush with boba, no sugar. It was delicious! Mango had the right amount of sweetness already and boba was great! Fast and very friendly service. Thank you.

I got the strawberry matcha boba, my cousin got the ube taro creampuff boba, and my other cousin got milk tea. While the boba was amazing, the lady that took our order just had an attitude and expected up to know every detail about the menu as if we weren’t allowed to ask questions on what things were. It came out quick so that was nice. But my only complaint is the customer service. Would go again for the boba though!

Happy Lemon is such a treat! The milk tea was rich and flavorful, and the slushy lemonade was perfectly refreshing. The shop is clean and welcoming, with friendly service that makes the experience even better. Plenty of parking is available, which is a plus. Come thirsty and leave happy—it definitely lives up to the name!

The Happy Lemon is a cozy place to order some delicious boba tea. Me and the Mrs. ordered the Genshin Impact theme drinks. Both drinks were very good and we will return to try more menu items.

The original bubble waffle with the puff cream was heat. The waffle more than the cream. The waffle was the reason to come back. The boba and lychee jelly are excellent in drinks.

An amazing business with kind & awesome staff and owners! We recently hosted a local cosplay and fan event at Happy Lemon at the Linc and it was GREAT, plus the drinks were super yummy! 10/10 recommend for drinks and community!

Love this place! Aside from the delicious tea and bubble waffles, they also have board and card games you can play while you hang out, and a manga library! 💙

I think Terrazzo has the most refined flavors in ATX! I love my drinks here, but they always seem to be out of something I want to order. The last two times I've been, there are multiple crema options available on their in-person menu and their Square site (matcha, black sesame, taro, ube, banana), but only one crema available in the shop. It's fine to not have it, but just take it off the menu, so we're not left disappointed. :( Otherwise, so yummy.

I’ve been to pretty much every boba place here the last 7 years, and these guys make the most craft and bougie bubble tea drinks in town. Lychee rose jasmine, taro ube, salted cream, so much more than your traditional options. So, good

Rating: 4.5/5 Terrazzo Tea is located in a small plaza, but their sign is the largest one there--you can't miss it. Upon entering, Kimmy emerged from the back and greeted us warmly. She was incredibly patient, answering all our questions and offering great suggestions for non-dairy drinks. Since she was the only one handling both the register and making drinks, there might be a wait. Fortunately, the line didn't start forming until after we ordered, so we didn't have to wait long. Kimmy easily connects with customers and keeps them updated on their drink status, especially if it might take a while. Matcha Slushie With Boba ($8) + Oat Milk ($1): Definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely delicious! We opted for 75% sweetness, which was perfect since the boba had a mild sweetness that complemented the drink. The matcha slushie's taste and texture were spot on. The only downside was that the boba was slightly overcooked--too soft and lacking the ideal chewiness. Of all the matcha drinks we've had in Austin so far, this one is the best. Concrete Rose ($6.50): Lychee rose jasmine milk tea with chia seeds, lychee star jelly, and lychee bits. We got 100% sweetness, which turned out to be too sweet; 75% would have been a better choice, but now we have a reference for next time. I don't think I've seen chia seeds in a drink before--just in Vietnamese chè and desserts--so I was curious how they'd work here. This drink was excellent, with lychee taking center stage and rose playing a subtle supporting role. The chia seeds were actually bland, adding only texture and nutrients. The lychee bits had some husk leftover, so my husband had to spit a few pieces out. The lychee star jelly, on the other hand, was flavorful and delicious.

Our group of friends came very late, around 10 minutes before closing. There was only one worker and she was incredibly sweet and made all 6 of our drinks! She also let us know they have a buy 4 get 1 free deal. I got “Pandan, Pandan, Pandan” with 75% sugar and substituted the boba with the clear boba. It was delicious and the size was also pretty large! My friends seemed to also really enjoy their drinks. Would definitely come again~

It was my first time having milk tea, and I was not disappointed. I came here because Terrazzo Tea was hosting a pop-up event for one of my favorite bands, "The Rose", ; everyone had a great time. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The drinks I had were awesome. I had the Concrete Rose (appropriate) and the Sweet Cheeks. I like how you can get the sweetness level adjusted.

I’ve been coming to Terrazzo since 2023, and used to be a frequent customer when I lived closer. Giving 3 stars not for the quality of drink (the drinks are yummy), but for the poor customer service. My partner and I were just there today (9/20) sitting waiting for our drinks (the girls working had to make more boba so we waited for about 15 minutes). We overheard one of the girls talking about how if she doesn’t want to make a drink, she’ll tell a customer they’re out of the ingredients. She also was talking about how sometimes she’ll turn people away and say they’re closed when she doesn’t feel like working. The last thing my partner and I overheard her say was she’ll close shop and come back the next morning and realize she forgot to lock the door. She was speaking loud enough so everyone in the store that weren’t wearing headphones could hear her. For reference, my partner and I were sitting by the entrance. I never write reviews but this really threw us off. When the owners are working, everything about Terrazzoo is amazing. P.S. I highly recommend “I’m Toasted” & “In My Feels”

Cozy little cafe w/ a warm vibe! I came in on Thurs @2:30pm & they were mildly busy. They serve a variety of drinks: milk tea, tea (including loose leaf), coffee, lemonades, & juice. Several are vegan, caffeine-free, or available hot. The cashier was nice enough to help me pick out a drink. I had the sea salt cream milk tea & it was delicious & sweet! They also run a small kitchen in the back where customers will have their name called to pick up food in the window next to the mural. They serve 4 snacks (they also have baked goods at the register) all at $5.95: basil fried chicken & 3 diff. kinds of japanese-style toasts (strawberry, banana, or ham & cheese). The cafe has an industrial interior design. Concrete floors, exposed pipe/open ceiling, & lots of natural light floods in although it does get darker towards the back. This place attracts many young people working on projects, studying or on their laptop. There's a few tables and 2 large community tables that seat 8 each. The (2) sinks are located outside the single gender-neutral bathroom. The bathroom itself is surprisingly dark & dingy. I'd love to see it become more welcoming.

DO NOT get their milk tea, but DO get their basil fried chicken. This is the worst milk tea I've ever tried in my life. It tasted really bland and it's not authentic at all. Maybe she forgot to add the milk??? The fried chicken was really good tho 10/10.

My tea was blended well and tasted good, no tinges of artificial sweeteners or syrups. 💚 The only reason I rated this place 4 stars is because I didn't find the tea to be out-of-this-world special or anything. The size of the drinks are good though, so they're worth the price for both quantity and quality. The atmosphere inside is very chill and relaxing, a great quiet spot to get work done or chat.

This is my favorite milk tea in town. It has a definite tea flavor with no powder or chemical taste, and the boba is lightly sweet with a pleasant chewiness. I think it's perfect half sweet. Their other drinks are all excellent, including the sea salt cream coffee and lemonades. There is limited food available, but it's also tasty. It's a good place to study or meet a small group, and the service is prompt and friendly.

Great little tea lounge! Love the atmosphere, and the people running it are friendly and accommodating (full sweet or half sweet on that drink?). Actually, best boba milk tea we ever had. The taste was reminiscent of REAL chai and the pearls were perfectly chewy. The mint blueberry lemonade was zingy and I'll be looking forward to having it a lot this summer! They also have a couple eats on the menu that look/sound delicious. Can't wait to be back!

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Tea Haus before. I love this place. It has a great atmosphere, serves great drinks, and is always a good time to get some work done in. The owner and the people who work here show you regular-visitor-love when you are a frequent customer, too. I saw a review by a couple that insisted Tea Haus cater their wedding with a boba station. What a great idea. I completely understand why they'd want Tea Haus serving at their celebration. This is the best café in Austin.

First time to Teaspoon ordered the Macha Royal with strawberry and boba and it was good, their boba was perfectly cooked and had a good sweetness from the brown sugar. Guava sunset was good too not too sweet. Not really a fan of the Grasshopper, it is very light and kinda tasteless, kinda tasted like cucumber water. Will definitely be back to try more drinks.

This is my favorite boba place in Austin! Based on their menu, they seem to specialize more in fruit teas but still have a variety of drinks for everyone’s taste. The drinks are amazing quality and unique. They have a seasonal drink to keep the menu fresh. Great service and calm atmosphere. Not much seating to be a good study spot.

It’s a 3 star for the drinks for now - I am willing to come back and give it another try once they fully open on April 1, 2023. I would award Teaspoon an absolute 5 stars on branding, ambience, service and the fancy equipment but the drinks leave a lot to be desired. We tried the dirty ube which is supposed to be this unique blend of coffee and ube but in reality, it was just meh. The dirty brown sugar was nowhere to be seen either - that’s on regular sweetness. The jasmine cream tea was too watery even with the lowest amount of ice. They have to step it up if they want to deliver the promised quality of the unique drinks on the menu that matches the images of those drinks. There are a lot of good options popping up in Austin from Happy Lemon to Feng cha and Gong cha, and you gotta offer something unique and better to attract boba or bubble tea lovers. Loved the space though, very clean, well maintained and good high chairs and group seating available. Hope they improve the quality of the drinks after their full fledged opening.

Interior design is very modern. They made good use out of the space that they have in the store. The menu is not overwhelming with essential and unique boba drink flavors. I ordered the guava sunset with the least amount of sugar level available. The drink was still a bit sweet but I enjoyed how refreshing it was. The milk tea with the honey black boba was okay. Not much tea taste to the drink and the boba was not very consistent; initial sip the boba was soft and chewy then it was hard and undercooked. I prefer boba that is soft and chewy. The dirt ube coffee was unique. I tasted more coffee than ube flavor but it was good.

What a great new boba spot in the Arbor walk! Fresh ingredients, Lactose Free options, low sugar options... all v. important for a boba enthusiast. Strawberry milk tea is my go-to, and Teaspoon makes the Silky Strawberry, which is based on an in-house made Strawberry Marmalade! No additional sugar added, but still a good amount of sweet. This one is not your low sugar option. Neither is the Black Sugar Assam TBH, this drink is also not sweetened but the caramel they use adds a food dose of sweet. I loved that they took the time to discuss the sugar contents and various options with me. They were busy, but I never felt rushed. Another major plus is how fast the drinks came!! They know what their doing, no growing pains here despite just now soft launching. Will definitely be back!

Decided to visit this newly opened boba spot in North Austin! I feel like the boba scene in Austin is a tad scarce so when I found out about this place, I was excited. I rushed over with two of my friends when I saw on Instagram that they were doing a happy hour before close. It was a perfect opportunity! It did not disappoint. The employee at the front was so friendly and even asked how to spell my name correctly even though I was fine if it was butchered haha. Service was quick, but there weren’t many people on this particular evening so please be patient if it’s busy on another day. I got a Thai tea and it was pretty good! Sweetened to my liking, but the star was the boba for sure as it should be because it is a boba shop. My other friend got a matcha drink and she seemed to enjoy it as well. They have some goodies too that I’ll hopefully get to try next time. Good experience and a nice end to a Monday evening.

Not bad Not bad. I was really craving some tteokbokki and if you don’t know, they’re basically thick fat noodles (rice cakes) that are simmered in a thick spicy and kind of sweet sauce, effing delicious. With some of that cheese on top, chefs kiss. If you can get those added extras, with fish cakes, noodles, etc. even better. The dishes here aren’t too pricey but they do give you pretty nice size portions. Meat was good, rice, egg. No complaints, I’d probably come back here again if I’m ever in the area! This shop is small, but there are a couple of tables inside. The hardest part of this journey would probably be the parking, especially if it was on a busy day. There are paid parking slots and a garage available, it isn’t too bad.

I’ve been to this place before and had something else that was okay. This time I got the beef bulgogi bowl and it’s not like the picture at all. Hardly any veggies, maybe 4 small pieces of white cabbage and that’s it. Mostly rice, hardly any rice noodles. I wanted to like this place due to its proximity to campus, but unfortunately it’s a No for me! If you like dishes with generous veggies and matched advertisement perhaps look elsewhere!

Bugs in the food I ordered a bulgogi soup trying to get some Korean taste. Halfway through eating saw a bug in the food, attached a picture. Kimchi is terrible, nothing like real kimchi. Egg was terribly cooked. As soon as I saw the bug i just left and threw up on my way home. Terrible.

I usually really enjoy this place and was super disappointed when I received and tasted my order. 5/2 ordered around 5 PM. I ordered bimbimbap kimbop and not only was it missing the bulgogi, it was constructed super lazily, with only half of it having any rice. The wings were awful. They didn’t have enough sauce and the worst part was they were extremely frost bitten to the point I couldn’t bring myself to eat them. I’m so sad that the food was awful because I usually love the bowls from this place :/ I had a bad day and spent my limited money as a college student for a nice meal and it turned out inedible.

Delicious fast casual Korean great for lunch or early dinner. Quick and easy to order at the kiosk. Staff was super friendly and helpful if have any questions. There’s not a lot of seating so it can get crowded during lunch rush. There are a few tables outside or you can take it to go. No idea where you’d park, but most people are walking from campus anyway.

I have longed for a casual Korean restaurant to open in Austin. I visited one recently while I was in UT after a long time. I was very pleased with the food, the price, and the atmosphere. I definitely plan to visit with my children again.

The food was really good. Even though the sitting may seem small, it’s enough to fit at least, 20 people in total and that’s including outside spaces as well. The atmosphere comes off like a hole in the wall joint. It’s great for dining in taking out and delivery. The food came cooked very well, hot and spicy, and choices for everyone. My husband and I brought our kids and my sister and the array of options was awesome. I would take a vantage of the GrubHub offer about if you have prime, you get GrubHub for a year. I know I’m definitely jumping on that bandwagon.

I am so glad a friend introduced me to this place! Customer service was fantastic and so were the prices. I got a combo for only 13.99$ and it included plenty of food and a giant tea. I just had to order the taiyaki with mozzarella! I call them cheese fish. 🧀 🐟 I will be ordering more cheese fish in the future! 😁

My overall experience here was really good, it's been a long time since I've had boba tea but I found out that they had quite a few flavors that I really enjoyed but I ultimately picked out the Thai milk tea which I paired with some brown sugar boba, I got it about 25% sugar because they allow you to control the sugar level which is really nice as well as how much ice you want, I chose about 50%. My girlfriend got the Pina Colada one with double Boba and, of course, no ice because hers was kind of like a shake type of thing. That's some food items as well but we had just eaten beforehand so perhaps maybe I'll be back to try the food items but the overall Ambiance and the staff were very nice and considerate and I would say for the most part very helpful and trying to make sure we understood the menu.

3rd time being here and finally realized to give it the review it deserved. Arguable one of my favorite Milktea/ Fruitea place to visit every time I visit Austin. The Galaxy Kumquat is always delicious. They got lot of appetizer food choices too but their chicken wings is nothing to scoff at. For being just a tea place I would say their wings are up there in my top 10. Highly recommend this place. Y’all need to stop by and try

10/10 amazing customer service and amazing matcha. I got the Matcha tea latte with 75% sweetness which I give a 10/10. I also went the day prior to this post and got the same matcha latte with 50% sweetness and that was a 8/10. The sweetness level really changed my perspective on the flavor. Will be returning back for more.

Update: Got the brown sugar milk tea drink again and it was done right this time. I got 75% sweetness and realized I could’ve gone sweeter as I still tasted more whole milk than I would like. The boba pearls were perfectly made - it’s rare for me to encounter boba that’s chewy but still firm. Got great customer service again that sought to understand my needs! 1st time here. Ordered brown sugar milk tea. It was pricey, over $7 before tax, but wanted to give it a shot. It’s the worst brown sugar sugar milk tea I ever had. It largely tasted like milk, boba was very overcooked and squishy. In my photo, you’ll see that there’s no brown syrup on the sides of the cup, which I normally see with brown sugar milk tea. Aside from the drink, the cashier was very friendly and patient as I took some time to decide - even offered to combine things I liked.

Great boba tea location. The interior is pretty, the drinks and food are delicious and the staff is so helpful! This was my first time here for the Love and deep space (among the clouds) cupsleeve event and I had a blast! (Note: the second photo I have was after I left, but the drink was awesome).

First time I’m here in this place . The vibes and drinks are surprised me. The place is so cute , the service is super fast, clean. I’m so happy that I got the strawberry matcha latte, tasting so good and fresh . Definitely will come back again .

This place was really amazing when it opened. Very picnic in the park aesthetics and treats that taste really good. But it feels like the owner is focused on doing whatever is cheapest. The silverware went from metal to cheap, plain plastic which is hard to cut the croffles with. I was swarmed by fruit flies on my last visit, and the fruits on my croffles tasted a little off too. You order from a stand now instead of speaking to the workers directly, which feels awkward. It seems they also got rid of their blooming teas which is disappointing.

If you are looking for a sweet treat or drink, the food and coffee were good, but a little expensive especially the drinks. If you want to take pictures of food and a cute cafe, the aesthetic is okay but not as good as their northern location. The biggest issue here is that they have a fly problem. They need to put some commercial fly traps or something to deal with this because it kind of ruined the experience having to fight off flies while trying to eat.

So for ambiance it’s definitely 10/10! Very pretty and aesthetic. But boba drinks are like 4/10 as they were too sugary even after I specifically said less sugar. And also desserts are OK not exceptional. We tried chocolate toast and strawberry foam cake. They are very pricey about $12 each.

Amazing! Hands down my new favorite spot for dessert and all things sweet and satisfying! I was not expecting to have such a perfect experience at this dessert shop. Hey only downside was parking, a bit tricky and frustrating. We parked kinda far away. They have self serve kiosks by the entrance where you order yourself. Our order came out real quick. The staff was quiet but super friendly. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, I asked for a candle and they helped me out with that and a lighter. Super nice, speedy and professional service! Our pancakes and crepe cake were to die for. I had never had something so delicious before. This spot is a must try in south Austin! An absolute gem! Love the pink decor!

We went to this place just as a stop during a roadtrip, the food and customer service was amazing!! First of all my phone was about to die and the lady working at the front kindly let me borrow her charger and even helped my group find a nearby restroom to use. She helped us figure out what to order and let us try diffrent things and everything was delicious. Very hospital and kind and not too expensive. Would definitely recommend.

If you are craving light, perfectly sweet, bubble tea then this is the spot. The ladies that work here are so kind and welcoming. We were a large group of 8 and they accomodated us so well! They had a variety of flavors and our group liked the milk tea, taro slush, and tiramisu. We got milk foam, classic tapioca, and chia seeds as toppings and it paired well with all the ones we chose. Very shocked to see an Xtra-Large size. It's so massive and sure to satisfy a strong bubble tea craving! They also sell ice cream here with many topping options. I highly recommend this boba spot to all locals and visitors... especially BOBA lovers <3 PS. Take a punch card if you plan to come back. 6 visits = $1 off

Best bubble tea!!!! I used to live in Vancouver and had an abundance of bubble tea places…love is even better! So consistent & flavorful, and the owners are the best too. I get it at least 3 times a week and will forever be their biggest fan!

Great customer services and very courteous staff. Had Taro and avocado mix milk tea with passion fruit popping boba. Loved the atmosphere and all decor. Some sitting arrangements also available for a group to hangout and have a good time. Very cool place.

Pretty decently drinks from multiple times visiting. Plenty of kiosk to simplify the ordering process and the drinks are made quickly. The cup was cute, and staff were friendly.

Good Boba UT In close proximity to two other boba offering Mojee stands out as the more modern and clean establishment. They offer a good variety of boba along with cream cheese foam, brulee, and other add ons. I wish their tea strength was more concentrated. You mostly taste the other flavors. Pretty standard drinks and they help customize the flavor via ice and sweetness level adjustments.

This place has good boba, but it’s a little pricey because they use real fruit. Additionally, it gets rushes all the time so you can end up waiting ~15 minutes for one drink. We were lucky to find parking because this street has a lot of businesses on it. This being said, the drinks were refreshing and tasty and the restaurant had a good vibe for studying or hanging out as there were plenty of outlets and a steady stream of Kpop playing. Overall, good place, but not the best.

It was probably my first and last time visiting. The staff was very cold and unwelcoming. I ordered a classic boba milk tea and was extremely disappointed. The tapioca pearls tasted like they had been soaked in water for way too long, and the milk tea clearly tasted like it was made from powder. Overall, the drink was just really bad.

The tea was a bit disappointing since it was light and lack of the strongness of its tea. The boba store was spacious and had lots of kiosks for self-order. However, the first-timer should ask and order with the cashier for better explanation and recommendations. I do not recommend it for tourists/locals from Cali since it's not up to the standards for a boba place.

Another good Boba place. I like that they have lots of little iPads set up where you can enter your order. This makes things more efficient, While they have things like levels of ice, they are missing some other options such as level of sugar, which is pretty standard at various other boba places. Also, the software should be smart enough, so that if I order a Cheese Foam Matcha Green Tea, it should either list the cheese foam as a pre-selected free option, or just not list it at at all as an option.

Having been to so many pho places in town, I'm comfortable saying this is the best pho place in Austin. There's always a line out to the door every day and it's because the food speaks for itself. Their 'Pho please' combo is so abundant, I leave happy and pregnant all the time. And you know it's legit authentic when they have egg pudding/jelly as a topping for your boba. We'll travel from north to South Austin every single week just to get a bowl.

The pho itself was average, good portion size. But the experience was soured by the service, which was surprisingly poor. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the counter seemed disinterested. No greeting, no warmth, just an attitude like we were inconveniencing them by ordering and paying in cash. We paid in cash, and the cashier didn’t give us our change back. What bothered me wasn’t even the amount. It was that he didn’t say anything at all. No “thank you,” no “do you want change?”, no acknowledgement whatsoever. He was just so confused. Then he didn’t know how much change to give me. We stood there for a moment, confused. It felt rude and unprofessional. It’s a shame because the pho was okay. But customer service matters. They should hire staff who actually acknowledge and are nice to customers and handle transactions properly. There are plenty of places with great pho and better service.

I thank the previous reviewers that led me to find this place!! All the 5 stars reviews were right!! The broth for their pho is absolutely delicious…it was sooo good I almost didn’t even want to add my ritual topping of chilli oil..they don’t shy from the amount of meat They give you and the soup is plentiful..my friend literally drank every drop of her broth..I should’ve taken a pic of her after bowl. We both ordered beef pho with brisket and raw beef…1000/10 recommend!! One more thing to add, I love how they have the bar on the side for additional toppings of green onions, jalapeños, lime, cilantro and other sauces..never seen that before so that pretty unique

I had the beef lemongrass salad and really enjoyed it! The beef was tender and full of flavor, and the fresh veggies made it super refreshing. Great spot with a clean, modern vibe and a menu full of tempting but healthy options. I’ll definitely be back!

Consistently delicious! I always get the vermicelli with beef short ribs. It's my favorite thing on the menu along with their egg rolls or crab rangoon. Been coming for years and it always hits the spot. Just as good as take out too and I like that it's a healthy, fair priced to go option on riverside.

Some of the best Pho I’ve had the pleasure of tasting! I tried seafood pho for the first time and it was outstanding. The inside was immaculate. What really separates this place from other pho restaurants was the toppings. They had a veggie bar with cilantro, raw white onions, limes, jalapeño etc.

Pho was ok. They’re very generous with the portions, it was loaded up on meats. I don’t recommend the bun bo hue tho. The broth had no depth of flavor and my noodles were mushy.

I've tried this place a twice due to being desperate for matcha. Don't be as desperate as I was, this place sucks. Everything is low quality and gross. Bread is extremely stale. Matcha is that low quality matcha taste. I asked for no boba and they still put boba and their boba is also disgusting. If you do delivery they don't care about your special requests (even if you buy them). Their waffles are also stale and not worth it. I can't believe I wasted my money on them again. Don't be like me.

Late night boba Had to get a late night boba fix and guess what? Most boba shops close at 9:00. Luckily I found the west campus boba places stay open a bit later, so if you're looking for a late night fix this is a good option. Had the matcha latte with crystal bubbles. They allow you to specify the ice and sweetness levels. That was nice, the flavor was good, wish the matcha was stronger but not bad. The crystal pearls were also good, a nice aloe consistency. Being a sucker for the crane machine I lost $10 trying to win one. Guess it wasn't my time. Overall decent. They do have a few other things on the menu. Overheard a couple ordering a waffle if that's something you might be interested in.

First time here and loved it. Unique flavors like durian and taro. Had the durian avocado smoothie. Yum. My grandson had the taro tea with Boba. Nice atmosphere. Enjoy your drink while reading our playing cards with a friend. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I have come here a couple times for the durian milk tea with boba half sweet and I can taste the bits of durian in the drink. I have been very happy with the flavor. I want to try their fresh flavor iced teas next time. Looks real good.

One of the few places where the ube and taro flavors can be tasted. Sesame milk tea and all specialty fruit teas are absolutely amazing. The flavor is all there and they have a large amount of options. Definitely beats most of the chains in Austin.

Yesterday, I ordered a Mango Strawberry Smoothie with boba and in return I got a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. When my buzzer rang I got my drink and went home. Before tasting it, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t the correct order and ended up drinking it, which led me to develop a severe allergic reaction to the banana in the drink… When I called the store to get to the bottom of this, I did not receive an answer back (nobody picked up the phone). Honestly, I enjoyed coming here but recently their customer service has been going down hill. Of course I understand that mistakes happen, but this is not the first time they have made a mistake with my order. For example, I ordered 3 drinks from them off of doordash last month and only received two. Additionally, before writing this, I have read other reviews that agree that the customer service here is not only mediocre, but careless. I will not be giving this place my time, money, or business moving forward.

Go here, just go! You don't need to like, or even know what boba and crystal jelly is, but you'll get yummy teas and coffees with or without toppings. Ambiance is super cute. Great location, easy parking.

First time we ate here and the burgers were decent but a bit small. The drinks were solid, but the fries we received were not that hot. Just a little parm thrown on them. The truffle aioli was amazing and the green chili queso was good although not hot enough. The system upon ordering is a bit confusing as you place the order with a person ..all the way at the back of the restaurant. A gentleman approached us and asked us where we wanted to sit while we were ordering, and the whole thing was just a bit confusing. I feel like the seating part should be done at the door. And even the food ordering We had a good time nonetheless and enjoyed the food and may be back!

The Diablo Bowl was absolute fire — bursting with flavor and spice. The shake and burger were also excellent choices. Overall, a fun, casual spot with a creative menu and ordering system with feel-good vibes, home made and sustainable practices!

The wagyu smash burger was incredible. The combination of flavors just melts in your mouth. Lots of options on the menu so there is something for everyone. Appreciate that the ingredients are locally sourced. Staff is super friendly. The fries alone are fine, they have a good crisp to them, but the homemade condiments really take them to the next level— definitely try the chipotle bbq sauce or the chipotle mayo!

Tried Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Austin after hearing the hype, but honestly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The burger was underwhelming, especially the cheese, which was a melted mess that ruined the flavor and texture. Sweet potato fries were a letdown too—over-salted and overly greasy. On a positive note, the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t deliver, and I won’t be returning.

Was, Ok was expecting better...tiny portions ..meat had no seasoning, leftover greasy fry bits , had to hunt for catsup, condiments should be on tables. Plating on a tiny tray made it look even smaller...overall presentation...sad..Sorry but Habit Burger way better and Shake Shack way better ..If a place is going to try to be upscale you need to up the game ..

Went during happy hour on Memorial Day and it was fantastic. There was basically no wait, and the cocktails were all half off, can't be it! We ordered a Goodnight, El Diablo, fries (don't forget the truffle aioli!), and a Big Larry, each and every item came out perfect and it was very cheap. EL Diablo was quite hot, I wouldn't get it if you're faint of heart. I've been to a few other Hopdoddy's in Austin and they have been somewhat hit or miss, but this location did not disappoint at all, I'll make the trek out here rather than the other spots.

I was so excited to try the truffle fries and burger, but was let down :/ Meh. Truffle fries lacked the truffle flavor and didn’t have enough salt. Sauces were bland :/ Good portion size though. OG burger was ok. The patty was small, a little dry, and lacked flavor. The bun was decent and fresh veggies were prepped and presented well.

This was a very cute restaurant overall with great food. The food was so fresh and the fish were so tender. The only thing that we weren’t a fan of was that every nigiri piece you order comes with some type of topping which some were wonderfully paired while others missed the mark. Every type of salmon they had was hands down the best salmon we’ve ever had. Drinks were great as well. We were sat in the aisle in a high top area which was fine- although it was extremely dark so impossible to read anything. Overall, a great restaurant with great food and good prices for what you get!

This food was great, our favorites were the cold plates full of amazing textures and flavors. Desert is not to be skipped here so leave some room. I love trying new places when I come to Austin and this is not too be missed and also the sister restaurant up the road which fusses bbq and Asian is unreal I visit there last year.

I've eaten here many times. I've been to many different sushi restaurants. This place and the quality of flavors are amazing. Everything is really great. This is where you go to in Austin for Great sushi. It's so close to downtown, so I wish they had a better view of the city. The food is the star here.

Uchi was a fantastic place to visit as a tourist. The food and service was excellent and I would say it was good value for the price point (about $100 a head for a a group of 5, including a round of drinks). I would recommend booking as it does get busy.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in the country. I took my cousin who just moved here, and she even said it was one of the best sushi spots she’s been to! The food is amazing and the fish is so fresh. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable! If you go, ask for Joe as a server. We usually just ask our server what they like and he listened to our tastes and things we didn’t like and delivered a spot on perfect meal for us. From appetizers to sushi to the incredible desert, Joe nailed it and knew exactly what we would like. Even the other staff who weren’t out waiters cleared table constantly and made recommendations. Justus, was also very helpful and was so on point. GET THE NEW BANANA CHOCOLATE CAKE! It’s to die for! So is the coconut tapioca desert! If you like amazing food, even better service, and an amazing atmosphere, goto UCHI!

Wow what an experience! I recommend getting the omakase, its 10 courses and staff is accomidating! Highlighting a few, but so many textures and flavors going into each bite! If you have never been, please check it out! Staff was amazing, cannot recommend enough!

I haven’t been to Uchi in quite some time. The sushi was just as I remembered. Truly can’t get any better. We made a mistake this time and ordered the tasting menu (it’s always so tempting because of the price) and it had too many cooked dishes for our liking. And yes, the server tried to warn us so nobody’s fault but our own. We ordered a few more sushi bites to compensate and we were happy with the outcome ☺️Next time, I won’t wait so long to revisit.

The restaurant is very simple and small but cute. There is patio seating in the back which allows dogs. You place your order at the counter and then your order will be brought to your table. There is free, vegan miso soup, which you could try (we did try it and found it to be OK? It was not very flavorful, but it had tiny tofu chunks in it). I got the tofu shiitake bowl and enjoyed it - it was a little spicy (in a good flavorful way). I got a side of the sesame, sweet potato noodles and really enjoyed it. My friend got the spicy chicken bowl, but did not enjoy it much and it was not spicy either. My friend also got the kimchi and said it tasted very authentic. If you dine while seated on the back porch, you might see cute Uber Eats robots around for delivery pick up.

I had the spicy chicken plate. The sauce on the chicken was very good and definitely spicy. The rice was a combination of white and black rice and was also delicious. The other dish I ordered was the box, which was great. Overall, the food was unique and well worth the visit. Parking was easy at 2 p.m.

We were headed to nearby comedy club and were looking for a place for dinner. We walked by this little gem. We opened the door and it smelled good so we decided to give it a try. Very fast service, the food was very good.

I’ve been coming to Koriente for over a decade, since my ACC days back around 2011 when I used to longboard from Rio Grande to Riverside. In between, this spot was always the recharge I needed — a place that felt like home. And when I say “home,” I mean it in the deepest sense. I grew up in Japan, and even though Koriente is Korean cuisine, the wholesome character of the flavors has always carried that same warmth and energy. Every time I step in, it feels nostalgic, welcoming, and genuine. Back when I ate more heavily on meat, there was never any judgment. Now that I’m mostly vegetarian, Koriente still makes sure I can get full, and I always end up with leftovers — which reheat perfectly. This time I had the kimchi tofu bowl, and it was the bomb dot com. I ate half there, then brought it home and stir-fried the rest, and it still tasted immaculate. The staff has always been incredibly kind, with small gestures of gratitude that make you feel part of a community. Thank you, Koriente, for being the bomb dot com and for holding it down all these years. Austin is lucky to have you.

I ordered the rice medallion sauce with tofu and a taro bubble tea. It was so tasty!! The flavors were balanced and not overwhelming. The boba was soft and everything you expect from a great boba shop. The inside of the place was small but the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back when I return to Austin!!

Food is terrific and tasts fresh and healthy. Portion size is also good. I loved their vegetarian options. The only feedback is if the food could be served in Bone China bowls or paper one instead if Melamine (Plastic) will be healthy for the customers who wants to enjoy hot food.

Loved the dinner here. I had the dumpling, pork belly bento box with taro coffee (strong). Great selection, prices and quality. Small place so walk in claim a table and order at the counter. Will return. The mixmix was good also. We had leftovers.

Sushi was yummy and I loved the appetizers we got (especially the okonomiyaki). The sushi was a bit westernized but it was unique so I still liked it. The service was also amazing (I accidentally double tipped but they returned the extra tip after I emailed them)

I don’t 100% know where I fall on Kome. I think it’s absolutely fine. The bao was fine. The udon curry was fine. The Surf N Turf roll was fine but unnecessarily large. No individual part was particularly spectacular. Our server, Alex, was great. People rave about Kome and so I think it’s probably worth making a decision for yourself. I’ve seen this place be absolutely packed with long waits but I don’t think I could tell you why.

My friend and I are visiting Austin from out of town and decided to stop at Komé for a casual lunch today because of all the on line recommendations for the restaurant. While everything was amazing, I really want to highlight the staff and, especially, our waitress (I am so sorry, I forgot your name despite asking for it a second time). She was prompt, very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable of the menu, giving us great suggestions when asked. Of course, all the other staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, as well. As on line individuals described, the food came out quickly, while respecting our coursing, and delicious. Everything was, obviously, also of great quality despite being so affordable. We started off with the "aji fry" which was perfectly breaded, had a nice tender texture, and paired perfectly with the tartar sauce accompanying it. My friend ordered the "kitsune udon" and thoroughly enjoyed it with a side of steamed rice. I ordered the "chirashi-don", which our waitress recommended and had a variety of sashimi and definitely did not skimp out on the seafood. Everything on it was very fresh. It came with some "miso soup;" I usually don't care for miso soup, but this was very refreshing and subtle (I've had miso soup elsewhere that is too overpowering in flavor) and felt perfect as the temperatures start dropping. I also ordered the "tarantula" signature roll to share with my friend. The roll is "only" five pieces, but each piece is huge and stuffed with shrimp tempura and softshell crab. The ratio of rice to the "filling" was perfect. Definitely doable for some as a meal alone. To end, this was a great experience and I would definitely come back if I find myself back in the Austin area. And the establishment, as amazing as the food and decor is, is very lucky to have the waitress who served us among the staff.

So so good! I came in specifically to try the uni sushi, which was absolutely delicious with the salmon roe. My favorite bite was the monkfish liver pate nigiri. The waitstaff was attentive and quick, even during a rush.

Never had the sushi here but I'm sure it's good. Their menu has all the Japanese soul food you can crave and desire. Ordering tempura with shrimp is a non-negotiable for our family.

I’ve been here a number of times now and I absolutely love it! If you’re there for lunch get the Komè fries, the wasabi aioli is delicious.

First time here while visiting Austin and I loved it!! I tried their mango avocado roll, midnight sun roll & their vegetarian gyoza’s. Everything was amazing!

They have more than one option for gluten free. All the items I got were gluten free. I got a chocolate frosted donut, chocolate chip muffin, chocolate chip cookies (package of 2) and a white chocolate mocha frappe (with coffee). My total was $20.04 Everything in the case is clearly labeled. The lady at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Donut was cakey, but not too thick. It had chocolate icing. Muffin was so soft. Tasted buttery and not too sweet for being chocolate chip. I ate it the fastest out of the items. Cookies look like they were hard, but they were soft once you bit into them. Frappe was a good accompaniment to my breakfast.

For a donut shop they have a lot of things to eat - from cake balls to donuts to bubble tea. They have mochi donuts and regular donuts and kolaches. They have cheesecake and desserts in jars. If you want a little bit of this and a little bit of that this is the place to go. They weren't the best ever but they were solid desserts. Everything tasted fresh and good. Solid choices all around. The bubble tea was my least favorite thing we tried (but this is a donut and treat shop after all). They have cute decor and games you can play if you want a hangout spot.

This isn’t a place one should sleep on, if you’re passing by, if you live in the area, this place is essential. Coffee, something savory, something sweet; this place checks all the boxes and then some. I got myself a Coffee, Kolache, and Donut of the Day (Pumpkin Spice as of writing this review). And the price? Exceptional ranging anything less than $12 for the three items I mentioned; which, for comparison, is better value than getting 2 items from the other Guys. Not to mention the People that work here were chill. Angel Donuts and Treats. Check it.

This place was a hidden gem I found driving around in the four points austin area. They had shelves of vegan donuts here, vegan cinnamon roll vegan beignets, vegan cinnamon twists, and vegan kolaches!! This is an amazing place to stop by for a donut for vegans and regular people. There is non vegan options as well such as cake balls canolis. Ice cream sandwiches, macaroons, cake balls. I highly recommend the vegan mochi donuts!! A unique donut experience. Taste like an extra fried crispy donut, my new favorite donut!! They also had a vegan fruit pebble donut here that was really cool! So many options here I could go on. Just know that this place won't disappoint you. If you're in the area stop on by and support this local business! You can taste the quality ❤️❤️

Absolutely love Angel donuts! My son and I visit every single weekend for years and recommend it to anyone that’s interested. I can guarantee you will be thankful if you stop. My son looks forward to a chocolate sprinkled donut and beignets all week and I love the apple fritters, and everything else I have tried. You can count on friendly service, excellent donuts/treats, and it’s pet friendly. My son is proudly the first ever visitor with a cat on a leash!

This is one of my new favorites spot to pick up from! Their potato, egg, and cheese kolache is my go to since I don’t eat red meat and their espresso is so yummy! The humans that work here are so kind and sweet, makes me just want to keep coming back, thank you!

We came here for dinner and ordered the crispy chicken taco, crispy chicken basket, and custard baos. Since we were really hungry, these filled us up. Beware that the pictures on the menu make the items look much smaller than they actually are. So portion sizes are pretty good. The crispy chicken tacos were good, but I wish they came with a sauce to add extra flavor. The crispy chicken basket had a generous portion, and my husband really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the custard baos--they were very plain and lacked flavor. I was expecting something more dessert-like. Overall, I'd still recommend this place for when you are super hungry and need food fast. The food was good, the service was good, and they have a few tables inside for seating.

Most of the food was cold besides the rice and the dumplings. The chicken dumplings taste like the chicken comes out of a can. Even the fried chicken was cold. The only thing I ate out of my whole order was my steamed chicken potstickers. I spend $62 and what a complete waste to only eat $6 worth of the food. I won’t not recommend.

Decent spot for commercial grade dumplings and Bao’s. I’d say it’s worth a stop if you have a craving or just need a dumpling/bao fix. We didn’t order soup dumplings cause that looked kind of wack. I wouldn’t necessarily tell a friend or family, especially if they’re Asian, to come here unfortunately. So if you’re expecting some top notch dumplings, I’d still skip. But if you’re just looking to casually grab a bite, this is worth a visit.

The food was underwhelming and warm. Pork belly didn't taste good, compared to many other spots in Austin. The filling portions in the bao were on the light side. The tables were dirty. It's very unlikely we'll return.

Fast comfort Asian food. Get a four pack for decent deal. Spicy Brisket, Juicy Pork, Pork Belly and Crispy Chicken were our choices. They were good enough we got the same four twice. The soup dumplings were a little small but decent for fast food. The counter service was helpful and patient. We ate there so they were nice and hot.

We were dine in but they were swamped with take out orders and we waited our food for a while. Not authentic Chinese food to be clear and everything tasted bland. The meat they used for fillings are not in good quality. If you want to try it just order a pick up there’s no service at all.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. We tried the veggie, pulled pork, chicken, and some other bao I can't recall. It just tasted a little bland, and the chicken bao barely had anything in it, just 3 tiny pieces of chicken. We tried the Thai tea with boba as well, and the boba was really tasty. The drink itself tasted too milky compared to other Thai teas I've had. It was so pale.

Such a wonderful spot! They have a wide range of pastries and drinks, always fresh and full of flavor. It does get crowded, but that just shows how much people love this place. Prices are very reasonable, and they even have some seating if you’d like to sit down and enjoy your treats. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Love 85C and this place was so nice and easy to navigate. The line was long but the wait wasn't for checking out. There's two? kiosks for ordering drinks too. I love trying all the different pastries available.

I come here every so often to get my fix of their wonderful bread! I always make sure to grab a few because I love sharing and letting my friends and coworkers know about this place. An absolute gem, be sure to get here early because some run out quick!!!

Great selection of pastries and coffee. I myself got the vanilla latte with mango cream brûlée. May I just say that it was delicious and satisfactory. Great atmosphere, awesome place to take a significant other, or just taking break from Austin’s fast paced culture. Highly recommend.

This morning’s visit was no different — warm, soft pastries and top-tier service that keeps us coming back. We picked up our usual: the Hokkaido Custard Bun, Hawaiian Chicken bread, Milk Pudding, two Mochi Egg Tarts, and our favorite drinks — the Café Latte and, of course, the Tiger Boba Latte. Let me just say: I’ve tried a lot of boba around Austin, and nothing comes close to 85°C’s Tiger Boba Latte. It’s rich, perfectly balanced, and always hits the spot. Easily the best boba in Austin. The staff here are always kind and welcoming, and it’s become a tradition for us to swing by after our walk around Lady Bird Lake. This place is more than a bakery — it’s a comforting part of our routine. The breads are always fresh, unbelievably soft, and full of flavor. We absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Whether you’re new to boba, a pastry lover, or just want a cozy place with consistently great food and drinks — 85°C is the place to be. Thank you for always making our mornings so Beautiful ! 🙌

When we got there, there were many delicious looking bread yet the line was crazy long so we just turned around but one day we’ll try some bread out there!

A go-to when I visit Austin! Love how everything I've tried has been absolutely yummy and not expensive at all. Bonus points for the staff being welcoming and sweet. Even though this place can get pretty busy, they always keep it well stocked! I recognize literature anything with the Hokkaido custard!

I love this place so much. This is my to go place when I want to drink or eat yogurt! The owner use real fruits compared to most places around town now-a-days uses flour flavor and artificial ingredients. This place is the real deal! Best for your bucks!

The owner is really nice. He keeps it really clean! My favorite flavor is Pistachio, but they only have it every other day. I would have given 5 stars if they had a bigger flavor selection. It's a great place to take my kids too!

I am not a frozen yoghurt fan but this one was amazing.. Especially the fruit flavors - mango and leeches. The picture I attached let's you chose your flavor and additions including M&Ms, chocolate, peices of fruit etc.

I love frozen yogurt! We live near here but for some reason we never got the chance to try this place. Finally one night we decided we were going to go here and give it a try. The flavor selection here is a good assortment a little something for everyone. The topping option is also really great. My favorite flavor was the taro, it was very flavorful and delicious! I would definitely come back just for the taro. For the more adventurous people, they have more authentic flavors like durian if you are willing to give the stinky fruit a try. The cashier lady was super nice and friendly, there is plenty of parking in front as well.

UPDATE: Since their remodel, they do have bubble tea as well. This is a great neighborhood place for froyo! The people working behind the counter are pleasant enough and the flavors are tasty. I usually get the tart and maybe a couple of other fruit flavors. The toppings bar is manageable, but a few extra choices would be nice. They stopped using Frequent User cards though. :-(

Tomunchi Frozen Yogurt gets to the point. They know how to make a good frozen yogurt. I have gone to far too many frozen yogurt places that either have too few or too many options for toppings and yogurt flavors. Tomunchi was a great medium. They carry everything from tart yogurt to new york cheesecake. They had a nice array of toppings that included fresh fruits, colorful cereals, and various types of sprinkles. However, they were running very low on a few, popular toppings, which led me to believe that they either down carry enough or they don't restock on a regular basis. Other than that, I intend to go back if I'm in the area. Whenever you have a frozen yogurt craving, this is a place that will satisfy it for you.

Best place in North Austin for fruit smoothies, frozen yogurt drinks and teas. I reccomend adding boba to almost any drink! They have plenty of frozen yogurts available as well. Believe it or not, this where I met my beautiful wife in 2012. As I post this review, it has been 7 wonderful years and we always return on our anniversary. However, this year is the first time our 7 month old baby boy got to meet Mr. Tomunchi. We love this place!

Place is great. Food is delicious, great variety of drinks and a nice vibe to just hangout at. My only complaint is the birds. It's best that you avoid sitting somewhere underneath the tree in the center. The birds stay there a lot and WILL poop on you and in your food. They already pooped on me and in my beer and I don't like constantly looking out for my food getting pooped in.

Really cool spot! The design is so fun and I really enjoyed sitting outside. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the ramen and beer add in. The ramen wasn’t bad, I just thought it was missing a little flavor and the portion size was smaller than what I’m used to. The cold foam beer they have is really cool, I just wish I would’ve gotten it without the ginger add in because unfortunately it tasted pretty off and like cleaning product. I would still probably come back though and try something else because the ambiance was great and I appreciated the friendly staff!

First time here and we had such a delightful time , service was amazing got recommended the most delicious items and the food came out quicker than we thought it would ! We recommend coming to try if you haven’t !

Dog friendly patio, with great beer and appetizers. We really enjoyed the beer and the apps we got were amazing, spicy gyoza, beef slider and chicken kaarage! I think a live DJ was about to start too!

This place is so awesome and affordable. Great spot for dates or being with friends and family. Really nice outdoor seating. Pretty authentic compared to what I eat when I’m in Japan. Oh and nice available parking.

Rating: 3.6/5 [dine in] This is a cute Japanese outdoor patio spot for summer dining. I heard the food comes from the same kitchen as Ramen Tatsuya, but it didn’t taste the same. The ramen portions were smaller, and overall, the flavors didn’t hit quite as well. Service was good for a busy 4th of July evening. Tsukemen / Dipping Broth ($16.50): Condensed pork bone dipping broth, yuzu zest, chashu pork, menma, scallions, bonito mayu, ajitama, lime, nori. It was just okay. The broth lacked that depth and umami flavor you'd expect from a dipping ramen and didn’t cling well to the noodles. The soft-boiled egg was good, but overall it felt like there wasn’t enough protein, so we ended up with leftover noodles. Kizami Sweet & Sour Yodas ($8): Shredded Brussels sprouts, Fuji apples, apricot, bonito, black pepper, garlic, sesame. This sounded interesting so we gave it a try, and it ended up being my favorite item of the night. Refreshing, light, and perfect as a palate cleanser. Karaage ($8): Japanese-style twice fried chicken with garlic mayo and chili sauce. Unfortunately, this was dry and underwhelming. There wasn’t much batter, and the chicken pieces were small. You really need the chili mayo for flavor and moisture. Honestly, I prefer the frozen Japanese brand over this. Chashu Rice Bowl ($8): Pork belly, scallion, pickled red ginger. Nice presentation, but the chashu wasn't as flavorful as I would like it to be. Not bad, just not memorable—I've had better elsewhere.

Incredibly delicious. The kirin foam was interesting and frosty. The chicken karagge was a perfect appetizer, but the star of the show was the spicy chilled ramen. I can't describe how really delicious and savory the chilled is while being refreshing. I hope this stays on the menu rather than just being seasonal. It's a perfect main dish for a hot summer Texas day.

This is our favorite Starbucks. They are friendly and accommodating. The place has also nice outdoor seats and tables. We usually sit there and enjoy the weather while drinking our Frappuccinos.

I am a neighbor and I live in Mueller and it’s really disappointing. How sketchy a staff they have now I see the same barista practically every day cause this is my local and I’m writing a book here and they don’t even say hi it’s really rude then when I reminded them hey it’s like is there anything I can get for you? I said yes say hi and doesn’t recognize you. They shouldn’t be working in service and then there are others that are just so I don’t know if they’re overworked and underpaid but this stuff for the last six months terrible I wish the old staff was back here.

Incredibly disappointed. I came in at 9:40 PM to grab coffee for myself and another night shift nurse — well before closing time at 10 PM — and was told they had already cleaned everything and wouldn’t serve me. refusing to make drinks 20 minutes before close when the store is lazy and inconsiderate. We rely on places like this to be dependable, especially as night shift workers with limited options. Really disappointed in the lack of effort and respect for posted hours.

This location is close and makes arrangements of coffee and breads for agency functions a breeze. I highly recommend stopping by and visiting these fine folks, as they will help you select the best items for your needs!!

The workers are nice but this location needs to work on making better coffee I got a caramel ribbon crunch it tasted bland they put to way too much ice and I berly got any caramel it was a little swirl on the top with a few crunch pieces

Got the Strawberry Cloud and Wild Child smoothie - Both were great and because the Wild Child was included in the daily special, I got $1 off. There isn't much seating, but it's a good stop and go place.

Friendly staff, refreshing drinks! I ordered a simple smoothie with apple juice, banana and strawberry. Home Run. Drinks are actually affordable which was nice. Limited seating under the shade but tables around the side some in shade and some in the sun which is great! Found a lovely message on the table also! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town!

Not only is their food delicious (I love their bowls topped with granola and bananas), but the employees are friendly and helpful. There is a little bit of seating, but the road noise may bother some. I got my bowl to go. There is a small fridge with ready made, healthy snacks if you want a quick meal.

The Bam Bam is the way to go. Add a little cayenne pepper to it - delicious! I’m not sure of the name of the person who rang us up but they were amazing! They had wire framed glasses and a cute hat on. Thanks for you help!

I love this motel! Yes, the retro style is done right. (I couldn’t stop taking photos of the courtyard). But the welcoming and downright COOL staff is what will bring me back. I wanted to find an affordable yet stylish place that exhibited the Austin personality and I found it! It’s laidback, beautiful and unpretentious. Go there!… and don’t forget brunch at the attached restaurant “Joanne’s”. The food is divine!

A quirky Austin gem for the whole family Right, so we just got back from a cracking stay at the Austin Motel, and honestly, it was an absolute delight. As a family, we're always on the hunt for places with a bit of character, and this spot absolutely delivered. First off, its retro-chic vibe is just super charming. You really do feel like you've zipped back to the '80s, but in the best possible way. It's a proper escape from the usual humdrum of modern city life, despite being right in the thick of things. Location-wise, it's brilliant – really close to the city centre and nestled in a rather trendy part of town. Plus, and this is always a win for families, they offer free parking, which is a definite bonus. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and we were quite impressed with their rather clever messaging system before and after check-in; it made everything super smooth. One of the highlights for us was stumbling upon their full moon pool party. What a laugh! The kids (and us, to be fair) had an absolute blast splashing about. And for the most important bit, especially after a busy day of exploring: the beds were incredibly comfortable. We were in a building out back, and it was wonderfully quiet, ensuring a truly relaxing night's sleep for everyone. All in all, the Austin Motel is a unique little find, and we'd genuinely recommend it for families looking for something a bit different.

Austin Motel – Funky and Fun Vibes Didn’t stay the night, but had to stop in and check out the lobby and gift shop—glad I did. The whole place has that perfect retro-Austin charm. Picked up a great ashtray and could’ve easily walked out with a bag full of quirky souvenirs. Super cool spot just to browse and soak in the vibe. Definitely worth popping into even if you’re not staying there!

Great funky motel. The customer service is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. Prices are very reasonable. The location is great off of South Congress. Near by places to eat and shop. Fun place to check out.

I called about a missing item that we have been looking for since our stay. We realized that we might have left them there after a series of travel. When I asked the front desk over the phone, I described the item, told her the date, which was about 2 weeks ago. She asked what I was looking for, I gave her a description of my super cool earrings and the date I stayed, which was just two weeks ago. Her response, "oooo that was a long time ago" (it's been two weeks) And proceeded to tell me within 15 seconds she has checked the lost and found long and they don't have anything of that description from the entire month of August... That was really quick and short and I'm pretty sure she's wearing them! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

An Austin GEM! Located in one of the coolest, most walkable neighborhoods in Austin. Minutes from the capital, Barton Springs, Zilker Park and 6th Street. Every member of the team was absolutely wonderful, especially Caity who helped me graciously get into my room a couple hours early after being on the road for a few days. The room was one of a kind. The bed super comfortable. The walk in shower as large and the products lovely. The grounds were exceptional. Every single inch was designed and curated with lush plants and cactus. Plenty of places to lounge. Sprayers during the heat of Austin summers to keep you cool. The vintage kidney shaped pool was so cool. Overlooking south Congress with a great bar, cabanas and loungers. If you come to Wustin, you must stay here. There is nothing else like it. Totally one of a kind.

Finally made it to Birdie's to celebrate a recent promotion. We arrived 10 minutes before opening, and there were 6 people in line before us. We were welcomed outside with a carefully selected wine menu that we ordered from before stepping inside. The service was what you would expect from any restaurant restaurant in its class. Unfortunately, for us the food just didn't live up to any of the hype. We added on the special pesto pasta of the night. I'm not sure what happened, but it was like somebody knocked over the container of salt into the pan. I'm not sure I've ever had a dish that salty, let alone from a restaurant of this caliber. This single dish almost ruined the entire meal for us. The highlight of the meal, was actually the salad. We both agreed, we could eat that with every meal. The beef and puree was the next best dish. The puree had a savory and sweet flavor that near pefectly accompanied the flavors of the beef. The beef itself was cooked just to our liking. Even being one of the highlights of the meal, we did not consider this on par with other beef dishes we have enjoyed in Austin. Neither of the desserts, chocolate soft serve and olive oil cake, were ones we would seek out again.

This experience was a bit confusing. Went there with friends on a weekday dinner when I visited Austin and was told that this is a Michelin restaurant. We were nicely greeted by the front desk who introduced the menu to us. With 100+ pp pricing level, I was expecting a fine dining experience. The game rule here is that customers need to stand by the frond desk, make the order, pay everything, get a table sign, go around and find somewhere to sit and place the sign on the table, wait for server to come with drink and food. I did not really agree with the fact that we had to pay tips before receiving any service. The food was marketed as seasonal menu and the ingredients were sourced carefully and locally. They were not bad, but not impressive either. The sauce in salad and pasta were nicely balanced and creative, but the rest of the food were just okay. Again, given the pricing, I would expect more. The wine list was very comprehensive. It would be great if they offer wine pairing to supplement the pre-fixe menu.

I’ve never left a crumb of food on a plate here. The pastas are to die for - I always think I need to order a second round, but I know I have to save room for the rest of the meal and dessert. The team creating the magic that is Birdie’s - and I mean every single person, not just the owners - are superb, friendly and adamant about your experience being one to remember. The wine selection is incredible and just as memorable as the food it is enjoyed with. I never, ever skip dessert, because why would you? My husband and I love sitting at the bar where we can watch the symphony of the kitchen and anticipate the next dish coming our way. We can’t wait to come back soon for their new prix fixe menu!

Since moving to Austin, I dove head first into the restaurant scene in attempts to find my favorite restaurants. I’ve been to many places, but nowhere tops Birdie’s. Their service is above and beyond. The level of care and warmth makes you feel like a guest in their home. And the food! Their pre fixe menus (which rotate about every other month, give or take) are all to die for (or cry happy tears for). The flavor profiles of every dish, even the seemingly simple ones! Incredible! The pictures included are from their last two menus. Absolutely chef’s kiss. Thank you Birdie’s!

Birdies is my favorite restaurant in Austin! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food is always amazing! Anytime there is a soup on the menu, order it! Trust me it’ll be the best soup of your life. It is a small restaurant but they fit a lot of people with the back patio. I love that it’s counter service because it doesn’t feel like a stuffy vibe or somewhere that you have to make a reservation months in advance. Always try to get in line around 6 so you don’t have to wait as long.

We’ve dined at Birdie’s plenty of times over the years and it’s been a great experience every time. From the wine selection, to the food, the affogato, and service, everything is top notch too to bottom. My favorite experience is the Aiello’s takeover where they switch up the menu and the vibe to a white table cloth Italian joint. The menu is unreal. If you live in Austin, it’s a must stop once a month, if you don’t live in Austin it’s a can’t miss.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a beautifully executed fixed menu that was as cohesive as it was delicious. Each course built seamlessly on the last — from a delicate amuse-bouche to a rich, satisfying dessert, every plate felt intentional and artfully prepared. The wine pairings elevated the experience even further. Each pour complemented the food without overpowering it. A standout was the Italian Pieve Santa Restituta 2019 served with the main course, offering bright acidity that balanced the richness of the dish beautifully. The sommelier clearly had a thoughtful hand in the curation. Between the flawless pacing, attentive service, and warm atmosphere, this was a memorable evening from start to finish. A truly elevated dining experience worth repeating.

Thanks for bringing the tastes of Taiwan to Austin! I'm was in Austin for a week and was psyched to hear this place opened up recently and just HAD to try it. It's right by Austin's new 99 Ranch Market, so it's perfect for a quick bite to eat before/after shopping. I ordered a braised beef noodle soup while my girlfriend ordered a Japanese styled curry with Taiwanese fried chicken. The braised beef noodle soup was hot and flavorful, and the beef was tender. The curry came out a bit lukewarm, so it may have been sitting for a bit before they brought it out. It tasted pretty good though, and the fried chicken is comparable to most other places that serve it. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea while my girlfriend ordered a grapefruit green tea. I got my Thai tea with 50% sugar. I would recommend that level of sweetness for those that don't like overly sweet drinks as their boba is actually quite sweet by themselves. The grapefruit green tea was "syrup-y" so it tasted artificial. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come again next time I'm in Austin.

Heard good stories about the food and environment so decided to give this place a shot. Was impressed with the customer service, they were very patient with us being out first time here. The food was delicious except the white rice, was a bit sticky, so I wasn't sure if that was natural. Enjoyed this place over all, just wish I remembered the names of the dishes we had but it was wonderfully tasting. Will give them more business in the future.

I’m always drawn to unique menu items, so I had to stop by 101 by Teahaus to try some of their specialty drinks. I tried the strawberry matcha, pink drink and taro ube. They were all so good! You can make it non-dairy by substituting oat milk which makes it extra creamy. I was not a huge fan of the mango green tea. The bitterness of the tea was overpowering the mango flavor. It could be good if they balanced it out a bit more. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot! Only downside is that parking is really tough on weekends.

Nice minimalistic design with natural lighting. Food was great. The highlights for me were the popcorn chicken and the Earl Grey Panna Cotta. I would definitely order the sea salt Thai Tea again.

Tiny Asian fusion place that serves good food and boba tea. I mean real tea not some artificially flavored powdered drink. For a " tea house", I wish they have more variety on their drinks (matcha maybe). The food menu is limited which I prefer so you won't get stuck deciding what to order. I would recommend the Taiwanese braised pork belly and the tonkatsu curry rice. Not a big fan of their bulgogi. I thought it was too sweet for my taste. Everything came out in disposable paper containers. Their customer service is commendable. I like places with workers who genuinely care about the business. Definitely check this place out if you want a quick lunch with a side of boba tea especially after shopping at 99 Ranch.

It was our first time here and it’s a fusion of Japanese and Korean food. We liked all the food that we ordered: beef noodle broth, chicken wings, cucumber salad, bulgogi tots, kimchi fried rice, and braised beef with rice.

A great spot for lots of delicious, smaller options. Bao, tacos and bowls full of classic Asian flavors delivered with finesse. The atmosphere is relaxed with people working and eating alike.

The Service is spotty here. You either get amazing friendly service or you get the servers that don’t care that you are their patrons. Today, I encountered that. The person taking my order was extremely friendly. Very professional and even helped me scan for rewards. The person giving me the order didn’t acknowledge me over her headphones, didn’t even call my name out for the order, and when I asked for a drink carrier, you would’ve thought I asked for the biggest hassle ever. She looked at me like I was an alien. Horrible server. ———————————- Chill place to get boba. I think the menu is too big and confusing. The good news is they have an app where you can order online and get points for free bobas. So, I did this instead because the app has more descriptions than the store. Pickup was ready in 5-10 minutes too! My kids always get the dirty boba which is milk and brown sugar and milk foam and boba. I tried the strawberry overload with lychee jelly and boba. Both were great. They only come in 1 size so for me, it was really big. I wished they had a smaller cup size.

I ordered a lot from delivery apps before and today is my first time actually at storefront. Special and must try for Fengcha is: Matcha tea cake 🍰 luxurious amount foams, bathing the cake in the matcha cloud. Dirty boba 🧋 is good too, I like how roasted flavor clouded my mouth. Area to improve: - packaging. For hot drink, and matcha tea cake. Easily got spilled and leaking. - shake sugar evenly Sometimes sugar is at the bottom of cup, ruin the experience. Storefront is not busy, I didn’t know they are even here and I was in the middle of a dental visit. Lol. More shall know this place, support and keep the good tea flavor in Austin!

Love love love feng cha, but this location is a little hit or miss. Sometimes the milk doesn’t taste as fresh or they skimp on the add-ins, which can be disappointing when you pay so much extra for them. They are also a tad slow at this location, maybe they’re just super busy, but it always takes longer than expected to get drinks here. Despite all of this, they still offer some of the best tea options in ATX. A personal favorite is the Thai Tea with no sugar added and sago!

I just want to say that Oliver and all the staff here are excellent. I have been coming to Feng Cha weekly for the last 3 years and appreciate their care for customers. Oliver always makes sure that I am happy with my drink before I leave. He is a jack of all trades, sometimes there alone and making 4-5 drinks at once. Thank you!

Decent boba tea place. Menu has a good variety of choices. I like the sugar n ice option as boba can get overly sweet - so this is a good control on both! Try the cheese foam on your drink, it’s a different texture with your regular boba drink! Price - $(it’s somewhere between $ &$$) They have no different sizes of drink, atleast I was not asked a size, which is okay too for the price. Clean & well maintained.

It's a popular boba chain, and so far, best boba in Austin. Although, I always get the Dirty Boba, so can't comment on the other flavors. I suggest getting full sugar (Regular Sweet) as it's already the perfect amount of sugar and any less wouldn't taste right, at least not to me. The desserts are really good too. I especially like the Matcha Love. The Tiramisu Treasure....ugh.... not so much. My only gripe is that not all of the drinks have sealed tops, and this makes it hard to mix everything together.

❤️Feng Cha❤️ is my absolute favorite bubble tea/fancy tea cafe in Austin (and I’ve tried them all)! Their tea is the freshest and tastiest and most of the time the servers are super helpful and knowledgeable about the tea (which I see as a bonus and NOT an expectation given service industry pay rates). The best part for me is that you can truly get no sugar added delicious tea and then add milk or milk foam options if you want more creaminess or sweetness. It’s very high quality and not from powder like other places. AND the cups are reusable and they have a paper straw option! 😍 Plus, they have a lovely cafe you can sit in and chill, work, or chat while you enjoy your tea. I can’t believe how much I love this place. Just thinking of it makes me smile.

Very polite staff. Super polite and lots of Asian treats. The actual boba pearls are sweet and their Thai tea shaved ice is confusingly delicious. It looks dry but melts into my favorite drink.

Fun teas that you can order in a light bulb glass you take with you. Wasn’t my favorite tea ever, but I would go again. I had the passion fruit refresher. The butterfly tea is pretty cool and allows them to get the awesome blue/purple color in the drinks.

This place is so good! Service is wonderful, place is clean, atmosphere is peaceful, and the dessert tastes amazing. The snow ice is the best shaved ice I've ever had, and the toppings taste gr8 too. I will definitely come back here!

This is the best shaved ice place I have ever tried in Austin. I used to drink a lot of milk tea but now shaved ice replaced milk tea. My roommates and I all love this place!

The tapioca is exquisite and the jasmine milk tea in particular is amazing. I really love the service, and the prices are fair as well. The quantities are very worth the price point, and I would bring my friends! They have great promotional events as well.
