Want to start off by saying the restaurant itself is very cozy. Choice of booths, sitting at the bar, or a normal table. I’m a sucker for a booth so that’s what I went with. Milo who was my server was most pleasant and helpful with suggestions being my first time here. Had a beer to go along with the pizza and was pleasantly surprised. Initially just ordered a slice of pepperoni but after falling in love with that, and the server giving me a slice of sausage and garlic pizza I decided to take a box back to the hotel. Beer was incredible, pizza was out of this world and as my pops said “best pizza I’ve ever had”. Service was also outstanding and the atmosphere in general is great. Wish I lived here so I could be a regular of the place. Long story short this is the spot to go to if you’re in Austin and want a legit pizza!

Home Slice Pizza 🍕 My favorite NY style pizza in Austin. My cousin’s band Wiretree played here during one SXSW so I have fond memories of that but I have been visiting this restaurant for over a decade. It is a great place to just stop in for a slice. They now have a 2nd location next door so even more capacity. I have always had a great meal here and it is a mandatory stop on my visit. Giant slices and a wide variety of toppings as well. I will add more pictures of the food soon but suffice it to say this is a beloved spot for me when I am in ATX.

If you're craving top-tier pizza, this is the place to be! The food is good, pizza is great and they have one of those mozzarella cheese container things on tables, they also had great dessert but it is filling. Service is solid, the staff is friendly and quick, though during peak hours, you might wait a bit. Still, their upbeat attitude makes up for any delay. As for the atmosphere, it’s dim but I oddly like it, it’s a fun spot whether you’re dining in with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Overall: 4.7/5 — Highly recommend! Home Slice lives up to the hype.

Found the best pizza joint in Austin!!! Pizza was delicious and staff was so friendly made us feel right at home. 8 in this family and they didn't complain about our noise. Great place to eat highly recommended HOME SLICE South Congress. DEFINITELY coming back here when we come back to Austin!!!! Classic pepperoni can't go wrong, margherita pizza finger licking good!!!!

Homeslice came highly recommended, but I found it to be overpriced and mediocre. Pizza is my all-time favorite food, so I consider myself to be a bit of an expert in the field of marinana, mozzarella, and crust. Homeslice is all hype. First, parking is a mess. It's impossible to find a spot in the restaurant's lot, and you have to park way far away in an adjacent neighborhood. It only costs $2 to park, but still a pain. The line for a slice was crazy, but we got in it. They moved the line quickly. Since it was our first time and we wanted to sample several things, we ordered a slice of pepperoni, a slice of cheese, and a small Italian sub. After jockeying for position, we finally got a place to sit after waiting almost 15 minutes. They have seating on an outdoor patio, which has to be unpleasant on hot, humid days. It took a long time to get our order, and we waited nearly 30 minutes after ordering. An employee came out and screamed out name, and we had our noms. Even at first glance, the pizza slices looked disappointing. Not only were they small, but they were clearly lacking enough cheese. So many bites had no cheese at all! Pizza needs plenty of cheese, people! The sauce and crust had absolutely no flavor. It needed some garlic, salt, oregano, something, ANYTHING! The pepperoni was particularly gross. It tasted like a wet dog smells. Barf. It went unfinished. The Italian sub looked good, but was mediocre. The only thing it had going for it was the toasted bread. Other than that, you can get far better sandwiches just about anywhere except Subway. For how pricey this place was, I can't believe the high reviews and ratings. Maybe Austin locals aren't picky about their pizza, but I would never come back to eat here. Ya'll are crazy to think this is a good restaurant.

The crust on our pizza was cooked perfectly, and we liked the amount of cheese. The service we received was good. The garlic knots were tasty, and the garden salad was huge!

Monday evening we were pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly as this place is always busy and for good reason. We ordered a large pizza: 1/2 eggplant (thinly sliced) pizza and 1/2 pepperoni with mushrooms baked to a thin crust perfection (chef's kiss). We shared a large caesar salad that came with a garlic bread knot with an additional order of marinara sauce. Customer service was exceptionally courteous which makes the dining experience even more. The ambience is really nice and spacious. We did go for the gusto and got tiramisu to share and it was worth it.

Pizzas are amazing, I loved Nduja pizza, is really good. I loved the place, is quiet and you can just escape from the noise in Downtown. Definitely will come back.

Pizzeria in Downtown Austin , very small inside so consider to book your table before online at least a day before. What I didn’t like is the size of the table, we were 3 and it was very tiny table you can’t even keep glasses and plates on it if you have pizzas. Atmosphere is good, pleasant music . Pizzas were ok, nothing to compare to Italian, in Italy doesn’t exist pizza with nduja potatos and parsley!!! My Italian husband was in shock after finding parsley on pizza instead of basil. Chocolate budino for dessert was delicious as well as Italian beer Peroni. If you like try different pizza places, definitely give it a try.

The food is delicious and the Moscato is light and sweet. The Hors d'oeuvres, especially the pecorino chicken wings and garlic crusted shishito peppers, are fantastic. We recently went for our 19th anniversary and they presented us with two glasses of prosciutto upon being seated which I thought was a really nice touch. The only downside is that the parking in the area is quite limited and can be hard to find. We barely made our reservation time as it took us a half hour to find parking so keep that in mind if visiting this restaurant.

What a hidden gem! The Backspace is a must-visit if you’re in Austin. The pizza is outstanding the flavor, the crust, and the true wood-fired quality give it that authentic touch. Having tried pizza all across Italy, I can honestly say this meets the mark. The food is fantastic, and the service is absolutely excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Small place but nice. It's not an original Italian pizza. Nduja pizza has to be just a simple margerita with nduja. Please use mozzarella cheese. Peroni 🍺 ok.

We stopped in here by chance after seeing a show. Its a cool small quiet place. The wood oven pizza was delicious! Fresh flavors, tomato sauce with a little kick. Pizza crust was perfection! Highly recommend.

Amazing + delicious pizza! Great value for the quality, price, and location. Will definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place to others looking for great pizza in the area! We loved the Pepperoni Americano pizza, the ciabatta, and the drinks!

For a quick bite to eat, great pizza flavor combinations, and great selections of been on tap, this place is a great go-to! I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and my partner ordered to hot honey pepperoni pizza! Both were amazing and the small size was just enough for both of us to have our own and get full. To top it off, we had the brownie sundae for dessert and it was so delectable. I wasn't expecting them to have such a good brownie honestly. I definitely recommend and will be back for more pizza!

The pizzas not gonna blow you away but its really solid. Ima traditionalist when it comes to American pizza ... sausage onion maybe mushrooms if not canned, and probably hate on fru fru pizza lovers a bit to harshly, but broke down and had their Bobby Bacala special and it was really good. The big pretzel app is a must. The meatballs are really nicely done and just the right amount of spice. But, people come here for the energy, the fast service and the wall of beer.

We stopped by Pint House Pizza on Lamar in Austin, Texas, for dinner and the place was hoppin’! Luckily, they opened up a bar line so we could order without waiting forever. We went with a half-and-half pizza, perfect for mixing and matching toppings, and grabbed it some salads (I had the Caesar). I usually take a picture of the whole pizza, but we all dug in because we were starving. So the partial pizza is what you get a picture of this review lol. Finding a seat was the biggest challenge since we had a big group, but hey, a packed house usually means good food, right? Once we settled in, our salads arrived, and we grabbed our drinks. The pizza? Delicious. The Caesar salad? Tasty, but heads up—it’s got a spicy, peppery kick that was a bit bold for my taste. Still, a solid experience overall, and I’m sure we’ll be back for round two!

Pinthouse Pizza is one of my favorite spots in Austin! The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked, and their craft beers are some of the best in town. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, great for hanging out with friends or family. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. Overall, it’s just a great place for good food, good beer, and good vibes.

The restaurant features a spacious dining area with numerous large TVs. The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent.

Almost 5 stars. The pie dough was good and cooked to perfection, but the red sauce lacked pizza pizzazz, kind of bland. The Italian sausage also had no kick on it, it could use fennel seeds. I did not taste any. The pepperoni Stromboli was very good. Disappointed to have the default 10% service tip added to the checkout...I will not tip on take out period and do not believe business owners should have that option opted in for customers durung checkout.

We had decent experience with pizza. Not super impressed. To me - Taste is not Justifiable for the price we paid for Pizza.

Perfect spot to watch the game, play a few games, and eat some pizza. Inside feels like an expanded version of the old school strip mall pizza places of my childhood. Outside is a very chill deck with a big screen tv (usually showing sports) that seems to be catnip for Dad’s taking care of their kids. If Homeslice feels like just “too much”, East Side Pies (which started in true East Austin back in 2006 - this location is firmly in the upper central west side) is your answer for local pizza and a place to entertain yourself and your kids. East Side pies is not New York style. The pizza has a Midwest meets punk rock vibe to it. They claim they are Austin style - but no other spot does pizza quite like them. I would argue they have a unique “East Side Pies” style and that it is not something they have truly shared stylistically beyond themselves. Solid pizza staple when you are looking for something to do with the kids and you do t want the hubbub of other spots.

This new location is so nice. Lots of parking. Super clean, spacious, and cozy at the same time. I really like the direction they took with this new spot. As usual, the pizza is absolutely out of this world. The manager thought my son's slice was too small so he brought him another. :-) Outstanding food and service every time we come. Eastside pies is truly an Austin original. It wouldn't be Austin without it.

This place never disappoints! I love their crispy crust and their oatmeal cream pies are sinful, I wish I never discovered them to be honest. Customer service is always on point. I seem to always interact with Scott and he's super cool and friendly. Their outdoor space is cool too! Not many places to play table tennis in Austin and they even have a little league type thing. So happy they are close to me. I will keep coming back!

We order delivery from this location. Today, got a note from the driver that when our pizza came out, East Side wasn't happy with it and were making us another pie. Waited a little longer (15min) but the pie we got was *fantastic.* They are committed to quality and the ingredients are better than their competitors. No regrets, will order again (and again!)

If you’re looking for a thin crust pizza, East Side Pies is great. I tried their vegetarian and vegan cheese options. They are delicious. Plenty of space to dine in, nice ambiance.

This place serves one of the best Neapolitan pizza in Austin. The vodka and Fresca pizza we ordered came in with bubbly crust and rich sauce. We liked everything especially the decadent stracciatella and their extensive wine list

This was the best food we’ve ate while in Austin and also one of the best pizzas I’ve had in general. Thin dough, topped with good quality and fresh ingredients and most importantly it wasn’t greasy - as a whole it was a really good Neapolitan pizza. However I need to echo other reviews mentioning awful service, the owner who was serving us was quite rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. The restaurant was also super loud but we didn’t plan on staying for too long so it wasn’t a massive issue.

I'm between 3-4 stars for this place because I loved the pizza but the service was not 4 stars. We loved the mushroom pizza. It was the absolute perfect blend of toppings in my opinion. They serve a Neapolitan-style pizza —perfectly blistered crust, high-quality ingredients, and a menu that knows how to keep things simple and stellar. But the service? It borders on indifferent, and was timed not for our convenience but theirs. I was still chewing my last bite when they cleared the plates and they wiped the table while I was still eating though my partner had finished. You’ll get your food, but don’t expect warmth or much patience with questions. Still, the pizza is solidly delicious. Come for the pie, not the hospitality.

Delicious but the waiter was not kind. I said thank you one hundred times and I received not one “you are welcome” or acknowledgment. He poured water, he took our orders, he did his job but showed no kindness or a smile. That negatively impacted my experience. Furthermore I asked for hot sauce. He said we have chili oil. I said great. Then they bring me an unusually large amount of chili oil and I see at the very end a charge for $3 for chili oil. That is ridiculous. I won’t come back.

Went to Bufalina for happy hour for the first time and I can’t believe I’ve slept on this deal for so long. Happy hour is from 4 PM to 530 every day of the week. We arrived a few minutes before 4 PM and were among the first few groups to get seated. This is probably the key because the happy hour is so short. All wine bottles below $100 or half off all pizzas are half off which is quite a steal. We ordered the mushroom and the potato pizza and I would definitely get them again. The pizzas are good size and the dough is very fluffy. We also ordered some apps like the stracciatella which was mindblowingly good, had great balance with the tomato jam, cheese and balsamic. The Caesar salad was also amazing, we added the anchovies too. They have a few spots in their parking lot, but there’s also street parking too.

Cozy, Elevated, and Full of Flavor We had another amazing evening at Bufalina. The service was top-notch — friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations that really made the night. We started with the stracciatella, which was creamy and fresh, followed by the pappardelle pasta and a Margherita pizza with pepperoni — both absolutely delicious and made with clear care and quality ingredients. We ended with the coffee ice cream, which tasted like an affogato in the best way — rich, bold, and smooth. Bufalina is a quaint, intimate spot that delivers high-end flavor without feeling stuffy. Every dish felt intentional and well-crafted. Highly recommend for a relaxed but exceptional dining experience.

Went out to bufalina after wanting to for SO long and although there was a 45 min wait for a table of 3, we grabbed some wine and the time flew by. We got the caesar with the boquerones with the fresca and red pies. Everything tasted fresh, complex, and amazing! Their wine list is also excellent so we will be back soon

Was recommended this place by a fellow New Yorker and was told that the pizza here is the closest I would find to NYC pizza here in Austin. And it probably is! The atmosphere is really chill. The service was fast and there were a lot of people here which is always a good sign! The pizza was really good. Not quite NYC, but the crust was good, red sauce was okay and just wish had a little more cheese on the cheese pizza.

Love the thin crust! Not sure if it's stone baked but we had half pepperoni and half margherita! Reuben sandwich and Greek salad! Great way to spend quality foodie time with my fellow foodie queen friends! We had a great time we stayed, dined and just had amazing time. Service was cool, people mostly take out and the outdoor area looked cool. Simple yet worthwhile.

My mom works in the area and I was meeting her for lunch, we were both craving a sub and chose this place specifically because they also serve pizza which is perfect because I have a four-year-old and one year-old who love pizza. When we first pulled up, we almost left because it looked super packed outside and being 39 weeks pregnant, I didn’t know if I could handle the heat but ended up deciding to stay after finding a table in the shade and that was probably the best decision I made that day. I think this might be the best sub I have ever had and I love me a sub. All of their ingredients seemed high-quality. I got the club sub which comes with turkey ham, bacon, and provolone. they’re bacon was perfect. I’ve been to many places where the bacon is just OK. I definitely plan on coming back to this place. The pizza by the slice was also good 10 out of 10 if you’re in the area this place is worth trying.

Love stopping here for a great Italian sub. Whole menu is amazing. Quick kind service, order at the counter. Fresh deli sides, fountain, cans, glass bottle sodas. Kille cookies, and cake slices, carrot cake to die for. Quite a few tables inside, plenty of patio & picnic tables, gazebo garden for kids to play around. Family friendly and relaxing neighborhood spot for takeout.

My wife and I went to Little Deli after doing some shopping on Burnet Road. We've been back twice since our initial visit because the food is incredible! Fresh ingredients, hefty portions, and taste explosions! We usually can't decide between the pizza or the sandwiches, so we get a half a sandwich each, share a slice, and take the rest home for lunch the next day. Go visit this little slice of heaven, you won't regret it!

Decent pizza. We tried it because it is on so many 10 best pizza lists. That may have set our expectation a bit high. Crust was very good. Sauce a bit sweet and too thick for our taste. We topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bell peppers. Again decent - but toppings were mild / lacked saltiness? I suspect the sweet sauce and would order “extra light” on the sauce next time. Service at the counter / they bring it out to you. Very polite and attentive. We sat outside in the shade comfortably. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. Lots of to go orders it seemed. If your taste is on the sweeter side you might love it. Crust is easily a top 10!

I super love this place. The pizza tasted like a dance party in my mouth and heart. Combined with the romantic setting and the wine shop, it felt like Cupid shot me with a pizza-shaped arrow. We got the Classic Pie with pepperoni added. The only thing I didn’t love was the amount of flop in the pizza. It was a bit too greasy and soft for my taste. I’ll always recommend this place, and I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again.

9.2/10. Banger Pizza; the ingredients are phenomenal. Specifically, the pepperoni cups crisped up and cupped the delicious oil. Despite being oily on top, it wasn’t disgustingly heavy. It looks as good as it tastes! You’re gonna be spending $25-40 for a pizza depending on what you get/add. Water didn’t complimentarily come with this meal.

Come for the amazing pizza, stay for the beautiful atmosphere. A magical little spot to see out the last of the days sun. Pizza was a traditional Neapolitan style. Lovely thin base, puffy crispy crust and gorgeous fresh toppings. All top off with delicious drinks for the local wine bar also on site.

Dave Portnoy gave it a 7.9 and later revised it to 8.1. We ordered the vodka pizza and rated it a 7.7, also a high score. Very good pizza and some of the best you’ll find in Austin. They make it in a wood-fired oven in their food truck and it takes about 25min. The cheese, sauce, and undercarriage were excellent. I just wish the crust was more airy and crispy. The homemade ranch was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Legit pizza in downtown Austin. They have a trailer and separate structure that has limited seating and bathroom inside. There is also plentiful outdoor seating available. The parking situation was confusing a bit. Last time, we parked nearby and walked over. Staff were friendly and cool. One of my husband’s main food groups is pizza and he absolutely loves this place and I concur! As a person who doesn’t like pepperoni I would eat pepperoni on their pizza anytime as they were perfectly crisp and delicious 👌🏻🤤 We love their pizza but it’s a bit costly and the location is kind of far from our house so we only stop by when we’re in the area. All in all, highly recommended if you haven’t checked them out yet!

As close to technically perfect for a NY-style pizza you will find in Austin. The below photos were taken 9 mins apart, I did share some crust with the dogs, but I wish I had eaten slower to enjoy it.

Tried Pieous and loved it! The Fiery Chicken Pizza had the perfect kick with a beautifully charred crust. Finished with their cheesecake loaded with brownie chunks—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Great vibe, friendly service. A must‑visit spot!

Wow - bring the kids and have a great Sunday afternoon here. Their play area is top notch and the food is even better. Get the meatball sub - and make sure to get it spicy. Truly a work of art. Our first time here and we’ll put it into regular rotation for sure.

We enjoyed the Baby Billy sandwich with pastrami and turkey! Oh my! Tender and packed. The salads are great and the pizza delicious! Everything is fresh! Had to get the Affogato with brownie bites ..4 shared this wonderful creation!

A delightful surprise and well worth the drive to hit Pieous. Even if busy, the line goes quickly and you are greeted by super nice waitstaff. I wish more restaurants understood the importance of having staff that enjoyed working and were nice to others. We ordered the Rocket Pizza which contained arugula and prosciutto and the Fat Queen which contained pepperoni and sausage in a red sauce. Both pizzas were delicious with distinctly different flavor profiles. The dough was thin and tasty with a puffy crust that was tasty in its own right. The contrast of arugula to prosciutto lent for a peppery salty combo of flavors enveloped in their tasty crust. The Fat Queen was just a deliciously meaty combo of flavors with the right proportion of sauce. I still can’t decide which one I like better as they were both so good. We sat at the counter and watched them assemble and bake in the amazing Neapolitan pizza oven. They really know what they are doing and knocking it out of the park, one after another. The owners stopped by every table and it was nice to chat about the flavors and what they are doing next. Definitely worth the drive from Austin for the wonderful experience of Pieous pizza. Update [July 2, 2025]: Even better than what I remembered from the first time! Had the House on Fire and The Fat Queen. Great flavors, great dough!

Friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious! Everything was fresh and crispy. Will definitely come back again!

Stopped in at Pieous and overall had a great experience. The food was solid, definitely a spot worth trying if you’re in the area. The crust on the pizzas was a little overdone for my taste, but the flavors more than made up for it. The White Pie was the standout, it really hit the spot with its creamy, rich flavor profile. The Meat Lovers (aka “The Fat Queen”) was also satisfying, loaded with hearty toppings and bold flavor. That said, I was a little disappointed to find that they don’t offer ranch. It’s a small thing, but sometimes that side of ranch just ties it all together. A pleasant surprise was their selection of Maine Root sodas. The Doppelgänger in particular brought back memories of the original Dublin Dr Pepper it’s always a treat to find that flavor again. All in all, a solid pizza joint with unique offerings and a nostalgic soda lineup. Just be ready to go ranch-free.

Return customers that hadn’t been to Pieous in a couple years. We thoroughly enjoyed our return lunch and will be sure to be back without as long of a delay as last time. The Pastrami sandwiches are still mouth watering delicious! The Neapolitan pizza is the best in Austin IMHO!!

We stopped here before heading back home to Houston. This was our first time in Austin. This place has great service and brings that real NY feel! From the food, to the Mets decor inside, to the music. We tried their seasonal slice which had pesto and tomatoes. Taste great fresh out the oven. If you’re looking for a big slice for around 4-5 bucks this is your place. I believe they serve beers as well as soft drinks. They have a parking lot in the back, and they have outdoor seating as well. We ordered an extra slice of pepperoni for my wife to go.

Great thin New York pizza by slice or whole. Very thin, very crispy. Great cesar salad, great meat balls (very soft). Good overall, good service. Prices are ridiculously high but if you are willing tobspend almost $30 per person thenbthis is all right.

Do not get delivery. We ordered the 7train and it looked nothing like the pictures. Three inches crust and one little slice of cheese on the entire pizza. Was not cooked all the way. Zero flavor. I don’t know how this place gets good reviews outside of drinks on sixth street.

Vintage feel without feeling like it’s going to fall apart. Great food and vibe. It’s teeny tiny so if you want to hang, lunch may be your best bet! We will for sure come back here! Such a great Austin find!

This was my go to pizza in Austin but it has gone so downhill, the quality of pizza is MUCH higher when you get a full pie as opposed to taking out slices. Took out a salad and slice, the slice was the driest, most burnt slice I may have ever had, zero flavor tasted like cardboard and the salad which used to be a favorite was completely different - used to have chickpeas, red onion and grated parm on top, tonight it had green olives, mozzarella balls, artichokes, tomatoes with no chickpeas or onion - just a completely new salad than the menu describes... what's going on?

I always enjoy finding and experiencing a new slice house. Favorite pizza comes highly recommended and it has all the Vibes of a classic Diner and pizza joint. A simple menu with delicious classic items and a changing menu of unique slices for dining in or taking out. I had a couple unique combinations including a spinach and squash nice crispy crust with the focus on Fresh delicious ingredients and toppings. Classic Slice and full of flavor. Highly recommend this spot when walking around Piedmont Park or the neighborhoods

In a world, where every city seems to have a style of pizza, we decided to see what Detroit’s was all about. Via 313 is a Detroit style pizza place located in Austin (not sure how that happened). We went to the location on West 6th Street after a tiring day of kayaking on Lady Bird Lake searching for some sweet, doughy bliss and here’s what happened… We sat at the outdoor area, which was great as we had a dog that wanted to enjoy some time with us. At this location we placed our order through the window and this is where the first of two issues occurred. One of us asked the guy at the window a very simple question, “Is your sausage spicy?” And he responded “Uhh I don’t know, I guess?”… nice to know we’re solving quantum physics at this location. After ordering 4 slices that cost $15 (sheesh), we were informed that we would receive a text when our order was ready. After waiting 25 minutes for our 4 slices we had still not received any text. When we went up to the window to find out what happened to our pizzas they had them ready to go sitting on the top of the stove. It was pretty clear that the pizza’s had just been sitting there for a few minutes with no text update and we had to go up to get make sure we got our food. The food itself was pretty good, the pizza light and crunchy with a delicious sauce over it. One of the staff also brought our dog a water bowl with some ice and was very friendly with us as well. Unfortunately that one staffer and good pizza couldn’t make up for the laziness of the kitchen staff and convoluted text system they use to notify patrons. This is definitely an operation that could use some better logistics and things would be a bit brighter, until then I think our rating sums up what you get from this Via 313 from a food, service, and value standpoint.

This Detroit style pizza was very interesting. It certainly hit the spot from a carbs perspective, but I didn’t realize that there’s little to know pizza sauce in a dish Detroit style pie. That being said, I really did enjoy the pizza and the service was fast, they had the pizza is ready at the promised pick up time. If you’re an adventurous eater, I want to try something unique and tasty. I recommend the Cadillac pizza.

This pizza place is okay, but the setup is kind of odd. It's cool that it's right next to a bar, but the entire ordering process is a pain—you have to scan a QR code to order, which I personally can't stand. The quality of the pizza is decent, and it’s probably a good fit for someone looking to grab some 'za while having a few drinks at the attached bar. This isn't something I would go out of my way for at all but sufficient if you are already there having some drinks.

From Michigan and had all of the best Detroit style pizzas including Loui’s in hazel park. This is excellent pizza. House made hot honey. Vernors and Faygo available. Excellent bar connected.

Outpost of the Via 313 pizza chain adjoining the Star Bar with a service window opening into one bar room and another window opening to the sidewalk. Star Bar has happy hour on weekday nights Monday through Thursday, 4pm-midnight with a combo of $2 Via 313 pizza slices (cheese or detroiter/pepperoni) and $2 Lonestar beers. There is paid street parking on surrounding streets.

Via 313 is one of the best Detroit style pizza in ATX! Today I ordered their pizza through UberEats. I asked them not to put sauce on the pizza because it might get soggy, but they made a mistake and poured the sauce. Surprisingly, they made another one and sent both of them. Definitely giving 5 stars for that. And I think I don't have to ever give a review about it. David Portnoy already did his job about it! Highly recommend!

Food is consistently good. Deliveries with GH can be spotty but I experience the same across all food delivery platforms. They quickly fix most issues. Unfortunately a raccoon waisted no time in helping himself to my pizza before I could open my door. True story

The Calabrese was nice and flavorful. Highly recommend. It was a little spicy because of the Serrano peppers but I loved it! The place is packed - had to wait 30 mins but it was worth it. Atmosphere is decent - it’s just super packed

This gets so hard. As I’ve said, I think Google should change their rating system. I’ve been here a couple of times. Always good fun and nice atmosphere. I would probably rate the pizza a 4.4 if we had a rating system. I definitely think some of them could have benefited from a balsamic drizzle or a little added punch of flavor. The pasta was really good even though it didn’t look like much. All in all, it’s another Austin must try

I recently visited Bufalina Due with some friends, and it was a fantastic experience. We initially ordered two pizzas, but they were so delicious that we ended up ordering one more! The first pizza we tried had a perfect balance of flavors, with fresh ingredients and a beautifully charred crust that added a nice smokey flavor. The second pizza was equally delightful, with a rich, tangy tomato sauce and gooey, perfectly melted cheese. Our third pizza, which we ordered on a whim due to the amazing taste of the first two, did not disappoint either. The ambiance of Bufalina Due is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. The service was prompt and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. If you’re a pizza lover, Bufalina Due is a must-visit. The quality of their pizzas is exceptional, and the experience is well worth it. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy some of the best pizza around.

We stopped by Bufalina Due on a Sunday around 4 PM and were seated right away. A nice surprise—we learned they offer daily happy hour with $2 off draft beers, half-off select pizzas, and $8 house wines. Our server, Molly, was warm and attentive, making the whole experience seamless. We ordered the Caesar salad (9/10), cacio e pepe (7/10), and mushroom pizza (8/10). The mushroom pizza in particular stood out—rich, earthy, and full of flavor. The only drawback for me was that several dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Still, the quality, atmosphere, and service make Bufalina Due worth a visit!

Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. The ambiance and atmosphere were cozy and welcoming. The service was attentive, polite, and professional. Being from New England I really miss this style of pizza. One of the top pizzas I’ve had anywhere from Austin to New York City. Good quality ingredients and a perfectly cooked pizza. The pizza was so good I ordered a second one! The pasta is incredible!

Pizza is good, cooking in the kitchen freshly. Spaghetti a bit too salty, didn't take pictures. Overall service was nice and friendly.

This is an unassuming but lovely little restaurant. No harsh lighting or overwhelming music. Both times the food was incredible, exceeding expectations, and the service was perfect- kind and conscientious servers with diner experience at the forefront of their minds. The potato and leek pizza was a surprising favorite with our table. All the house pizzas we tried had subtle but complex flavor profiles that lingered and satisfied. I’ve been here several times, years apart, and each experience was consistent.

Stop looking, this is where you should eat. I’m a major pizza lover and this was the second best pizza I’ve ever had (only behind a pizza place in Europe). We got the salami pizza and added roasted garlic and it was amazing. We were only in town for 24 hours for my best friends funeral and they offered us complimentary dessert without even knowing why we were there which helped lift the mood. The tiramisu was also amazing! We had some cocktails, no surprise they were also good. Shoutout to Adam the manager for making our one night in austin great!

I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Austin! You'll love the atmosphere here with a huge outdoor patio, amazing staff, and delicious food. I was in town for the No Longer Virtual Summit and met up here with some of our group to kick off the event. We had a large group on top of an already busy Superbowl Sunday, yet the staff took amazing care of everyone. Friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. Zach was our guy! The cocktails were delicious as well as the selection of local beers on tap. Every bite of food was spot on. We shared a Margherita pizza, arugula salad, and the sweet potato bites. Then added some of the wings they had on the special menu for the game. Delicious! Bring your family, meet friends here, or grab pizzas to go. You won't be disappointed. P.S. Sorry, no food pics because it looked so good I couldn't wait to dig in!

Needless to say, we have been coming here for a few years. Recently started making it a weekly Dad/ daughter day every wednesday. The staff have always been accommodating and relaxed with my daughters use of the space as a quasi playground lol. We always try to get in at opening as it’s less crowded so kiddo can run around. Thank you for the stickers and pizza dough to play with!!! She was ecstatic today :)

LOVE was the best !! Had a great time eating some yummy pizza, we got the pistachio white sauce pizza (my absolute favorite pizza and I've had a lot in my lifetime), the meat lovers, and Special Honey Sambal Chicken Pizza... they were all phenomenal. The service was excellent, pizza came out fresh, fast and DELICIOUS! Will def be back! Thank yall for a great night !! Wish I got a better pic but we got too excited and dug into it right away!

They got a nice patio for the summer heat with fans and misters going on out in the patio area, and lots of space for big groups and gatherings for any celebration 🎉. They have a good selection of food and drink choices, from meat balls to salads for starters, and the best part is the wings, must have the wings. the honey sambal wings, get it! The pizza selection is not too shabby either, def ample space for large groups, only one tea refill though this is Texas y'all, give us more tea refills. Devil 😈 May snare drink got a kick, also a good place to order pizza and wings to go, ask for sauce on the side

Mushroom pizza flavor was good, albeit the crust especially on the bottom was too charred. Gluten free margarita pizza was bland as it gets. Regular (not GF) Margarita pizza was pretty bland as well. That said, their adult beverages were good & the place has a great vibe. Perhaps Tuesday evening was an off night?!?

Great food truck that is located at Meanwhile Brewing. Pizza was fantastic. The 12” Pepperoni Homie and OG Margarita were delicious. We also had the duck confit chicken wings. We devoured them before I could snap a pic. Slightly off the beaten path, but definitely worth it!

Good pizza but seemed overpriced. Crust needs to be cooked better. The pizza bends as soon as you pick it up. Nonetheless, the flavor was great. We tried the hippie and side eye. Tiramisu was ok. We ordered online and picked up for Meanwhile Brewery. Great ambiance and service. Plenty of parking.

Pizza is delicious. Kale Caesar salad was amazing. Employees taking orders was really friendly and helpful. Not too long of a wait at all.

Side Eye Pie was a pleasant surprise. The staff provided great service and kept us updated when there was a delay on the wing orders during my first visit to this food truck. Their menu is accessible via a QR code at the truck, and they use the Toast platform, so if you have a Toast account, you can log in easily. I tried the 12-inch “Pepperoni Homie” pie, while my friend ordered the buffalo BBQ wings. The wings were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pizza was ideal for a lunchtime treat, with a thin, flavorful crust topped with melty cheese and delicious mini pepperonis. Sitting outside was very relaxing, though the flies were a bit of a nuisance, even on a cool day in Texas. For drinks, you’ll need to order inside the brewery. They offer water if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option.

Side Eye is my favorite pizza in Austin. It's not even close, they blow all other places out of the water. Their kale caesar is amazing, the TIRAMISU!! I can't say enough about the tiramisu. It's my favorite dessert and Side Eye's is the best. I've ordered from Side Eye's so much I can't even count. I've picked up for a birthday party, we'll eat at Meanwhile on the weekends and recently we had a family celebration where Chef Tony made us a half sheet of tiramisu. Highly recommend, everyone that works there is the best!

Got there for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was reasonably full. I was seated immediately at the bar. Asked for a wine, but it tasted and smelled a little old. The bar tender was nice enough to give me a taste of a couple of other wines and I picked one I liked (Super Tuscan). Got a Caprese Salad. It was OK. A lot of tomatoes, some mozzarella and literally one leaf of Basil. Had to ration that Basil leafy for each bite of the salad!! Also ordered a Pizza. The crust was thin but overall the pizza was average at best. Also got a dessert, brownie something and I suggest best not to order it. I enjoyed the ambiance (4-stars) and the service (5-Stars), but the food left a lot to be desired.

Holy cow! This place was absolutely amazing! Best pizza I've had in a long time! I can't remember which pizza i got bc the waitress recommended it (its the one with arugula on it) I wasnt sure I would like it bc it had prosciutto on it but wow. Husband is a picky eater but Loves pizza. He was worried about it not being up to his standard of pizza hut lol but he also enjoyed it. He just got a regular Pepperoni Pizza. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, they also had the governor there but we were still able to get our food in a timely manner.

In our opinion this is the best authentic Italian food in Austin! It’s well priced, has a great atmosphere and the service was too.

By far, the best Italian food in Austin! Trust me when I say you can’t get any better, I’d almost say in Texas. We ordered the Meatballs, they literally just melted in your mouth, unreal. Shared the large Caesar salad, I’ve had salads from $20-$40 and this one beats it by a mile! I ordered the Chicken Parm, my better half ordered the Rigatoni Truffle Sausage… taste, was unprecedented… and dessert, of course we couldn’t leave without a taste of cheesecake! I can’t wait till we go back, next we’re trying Pizzas!

The most Authentic we've found in Austin. Excellent service, the staff was amazing. We each had pizzas, if you're hungry they're just enough for one. You could easily split one between two, that just leaves more room for dessert. We had tiramisu and it. Was. Amazing. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back. If you're having a night out downtown this is a great place to start. Grazie!

Asked a local where the best pizza was and they sent us here. Pizza was fantastic, we ordered 3 kinds and loved them all. Do note.... this restaurant felt like fine dining so did not dress appropriately compared to everyone's nice dresses, suits, and polo's. Our flip flips, shorts and tanks definitely stood out. Oops! Staff were kind and accommodated our toddler w a high chair.

My husband and I came here for the pizza school to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was such an amazing experience! We got to make our own pizza, which was so much fun and made the day extra special. Jordan was very kind and professional, and the whole team made us feel welcome. Everything we tried was outstanding — the salad, the meatballs, and of course the wine, which was absolutely delicious. The pizza we made honestly felt like the best we’ve ever had. We’ll always remember this day, and we’re so grateful to Desano for helping make our anniversary unforgettable. Highly recommend the pizza school experience!

The pizza was really good. The flavor was amazing and the pizza crust had a nice smokey, crunch. If the center of the pizza wasn't floppy, I would've given this place a 5 star. I like the bicycle theme inside and it's cool that you can see the chefs make the pizzas in the pizza ovens. We will definitely stop back by when we're in Austin again.

I loved the pizza, I understand the concept but just in case I want to mention it, if you're with a friend that does not eat beef or has dietary restrictions is kinda hard, cause they actually wear a shirt that says No chicken and 2 other things (don't remember) and don't even ask for them, if you do (my friend asked because it was our first time there and we didn't know) they just pointed to the shirt, I mean I get it but it was rude. Apart from that is a nice place, I liked the food.

I gave the 12" lasagna pizza a try, The crust here is more "floppy", but I didn't mind. Though you may want to let the pizza cool for a few minutes in order for the toppings not to slide off. Overall a fresh tasting pizza and the 12" was just enough for me, as the ricotta was rich and helps you stay full. Service was great as well, and I would return. 4.5/5

Great place. Been here a few times now, and always a good experience. For some great Italian style pizza, and stromboli, canzone, or cannoli. Hit them up if you haven't yet.

If you enjoy Neapolitan pizza, this place is the bomb. The pizza is super good—made with love and high-quality ingredients. The open-concept kitchen is incredibly cool; it’s great to watch the pizzas being made in wood-burning ovens.

Got the monthly special, chicken fajita! The service was great and loved the atmosphere. They let me have a coloring kit lol 😼 The food was so yummy and I devoured it as soon as possible (be wary of burning your mouth from impatience). Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Easily the BEST gluten pizza I have ever eaten! I have celiac disease and felt completely safe after speaking to our server. Atticus N. was very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Super friendly atmosphere:) Manager came over to check on us as well and shared information about the history of the restaurant and other locations. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Went in to order pizza to go somewhere that had vegan options & was pleasantly surprised at the pizza. My son's meaty pie was almost completely devoured immediately & he loved everything about it, something he rarely does as a picky eater. My veggie pie with vegan cheese was generously covered with veggies & cheese & the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere when we went in on a Tuesday night was chill & quiet & the guy that took our order was friendly & helpful. Next time we're in Austin, we'll definitely be back!

Nice local pizza franchise (that's expanding) that specializes in Detroit style pizza. Deep dish, but in squares, and sauce on top of toppings/cheese. Good caramelized edges of crust and cheese, nice chewy thick crust, good cheese and toppings with nice rich tomatoe-y sauce. Overall great pizza

Excellent pizza, great service, and relaxing atmosphere. Ordered the herbivore pizza with ice tea. Crust on the pizza was perfect and the toppings were amazing. Waiter was helpful and attentive. For ending the meal on a sweet note got the dessert pizza. Inside the place was nicely decorated, relaxing, big screen TVs, and cool air conditioning. Great place to enjoy super good pizza. 👍

One of my favorite pizza spots. Love their Detroit style pizzas. My favorite is the ambassador. I enjoy the creaminess of ricotta, the garlic they add on top and the crispy cupped pepperoni. Their dough had a great rise and chew, had a crispy bottom and a nice crispy cheesy edge. The marinara they put on top is fresh tasting and not too acidic. We sat outside on the patio because we had our dogs with us. Christian was our server and he took great care of us. He brought water out for the pups and was very attentive. Great service and great food. Regularly take out of town guests who have never tried Detroit style pizzas.

Delicioso! Brick oven pizza cooked perfect. I ate (all of) the margherita pie with more fabulous sauce and mozzarella. Selection of drinks from the cooler. The servers are attentive as well as the owner who was on premises. Definitely grab a cup of the garlic butter! It will take your pizza to the optimal level!!

This pizza is easily among the best I’ve had, without question in my Top 25, maybe even higher. The ingredients speak for themselves, fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the Desano, a perfect balance of sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella, and smoky, creamy scamorza cheese. The Neapolitan-style crust was exceptional, with just the right amount of salt to bring all the flavors together. To finish, we tried the pistachio cannoli, the cannoli cream was light, creamy, with a touch of sweet acidity that made it unforgettable. Truly something special.

Went to DeSano in downtown Austin and had the Margherita pizza. The crust was light and perfectly charred, and the ingredients tasted super fresh. It’s a simple pie, but done really well. The space is casual and lively, great for a low-key dinner with friends. Solid spot if you’re craving legit Neapolitan pizza.

DeSano feels like what would happen if Italy and a ninja turtle had a baby… and that baby made pizza. The ovens are so hot I’m pretty sure one winked at me. I ordered the Margherita, and it hit the table faster than my WiFi dies during Zoom calls. It was solid — crispy, cheesy, saucy in all the right ways. Not sure it would blow Portnoy’s hair back, but I gave it a confident 8/10 after one bite and zero regrets. Atmosphere? Chill. Staff? Lovely. Prices? A little spicy, but hey, you’re downtown — even the pigeons have Venmo.

So glad we came here for dinner. The staff here were lovely and the service was great. The pizza here is also really good. There was a small misunderstanding with the pizza and the owner or manager took care of it for us right away. Any new place I go to I order the margarita to see if its worth coming back and safe to say I will be coming back here for sure and send people here to try. I would also recommend the Bianca and it was delicious. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and amazing pizzas.

Awesome pizza spot! I usually am weary of Neapolitan pizza because it gets over charred for me. Dasano was fantastic! They cook it perfectly, the ingredients felt fresh, and it was just so dang good. The sauce was unreal. We settled on a Margherita pizza. The interior is small, so be prepared to share tables if applicable. It’s a great spot for pizza.

Perfect for a quick, casual bite. Flavors have been great on everything I've tried, my friend's wings were fried great with tons of parmesan and I got the special with drink, salad and slice of pizza for $10.99. Great deal, the slices are huge. The Caesar was dressed well and the little garlic knot that came with it was tasty. The ambiance inside is what it is, a bunch of open tables with just a few booths on one side and then the bar on the other, so laid-back and casual. They also have several TVs on for sports. Big request would be for better napkins though. A lot of what you serve has grease (which tastes amazing) but the ones on the table are so small and thin, you end up going through so many it feels wasteful.

Very friendly staff, and good service, not a bad spot with a decent bar area. If I’m Dave Portnoy I’m giving the pizza a 6.9 out of 10. No crisp, slightly undercooked, all toppings including cheese fall off about an inch before the crust which leads to not so good pizza. Pizza was extremely floppy and greasy. Sauce is kinda spicy, which I’ve never experienced as an Italian. What pizza place uses spicy sauce on pizza? Place was empty at 12pm, so maybe that tells me this place ain’t so Italian.

A great place for pizza fix. The food portion is abundant. The salad is fresh and delicious. The pizza is amazing. Not too thick and not too thin bread. Crunchy outside and soft inside. We had a great time and more than full stomachs for the night.

Tony C's Pizza & BG really is one of my favorite secret (not so secret now) spots for my incessant crazy pizza cravings. I love pizza and I have had more than my share of experiences. This is my go-to place for vegetarian pizza night. 🍕 The service is fast, friendly and consistent always. (Although I wouldn't complain with just a little bit more cheese on the thin crusts) 🧀 I usually order out and go pick it up, but also visit sometimes in the restaurant to, and each and every time the pizza is consistently always fresh and hot with delicious high quality ingredients. I love the Veggie Supreme especially and the Vegetarian pizza too (pictured) Those are my usual two pizza orders, but I plan to venture out soon and try other things too. ;) I can't say enough positive and great things about this place. I'm a very loyal customer and I would recommend their pizzas to anyone.

Connor was awesome! We came to celebrate prom and he immediately greeted us with enthusiasm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. Jess took our order and she was super sweet! If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or take your family, this is the right choice!

This place has the most unbelievable crust. I absolutely love the ambience. The service was great! Whenever you go, just enjoy! The pizza was delicious! We also had the meatballs which was equally as delicious. I love a great brick oven pizza. The Best Cesar salad is Right here! Thoroughly enjoying a date with my grandson and he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

I loved y’all since hill country galleria. New hangout spot! The pizza was delicious and fresh. The appetizers was amazing. My personal favorite was the cheese pizza, I don’t even think it’s on the menu. I had to ask if it’s possible. The sure did make it happen. Hit the spot on this cold night. We ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken, Fried Calamari, and the Prime Rib Pizza. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant. Nothing mind-blowing, but we had a good meal. The Caesar Salad was good—just the right amount of dressing and Parmesan, and I loved the mushrooms in it. The calamari was okay, but the fried lemon and onion that came with it were a bit odd for my taste. I did like the generous amount of arugula, though. The Prime Rib Pizza was delicious, but definitely not the typical one. If you like arugula, you’ll probably enjoy this one. The pizza had a little kick, and the meat in it was super tender.

This pizza is amazing!! I'm gluten free and their crust and flavor reminded me so much of Chicago bar pizza in the best way. It was thin, crunchy, huge in size (not the usual tiny personal pies I get at other restaurants) and so so yummy. Leftovers were great the next day too when I warmed them up in my oven. Customer service was attentive, vibe was relaxed but still nice. It was perfect for a pizza date night. My partner loved the regular pizza too and was raving about it the next day. We can't wait to come back! This is gonna be a regular rotation for sure.

On our second visit to Dovetail Pizza, we knew exactly what we were coming back for—the Prime Rib Pizza. And once again, it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly crisp, the prime rib was incredibly tender, and the flavors were just spot on. We also ordered the Wedge Salad, which was fresh and had the perfect balance of crisp lettuce and creamy dressing. The Corn Fried Calamari was a standout appetizer—light, crispy, with greens, making it a unique take on a classic dish. The Fried Shrimp Alfredo was rich and flavorful, with a perfectly creamy sauce that wasn’t too heavy. Dovetail Pizza continues to impress, and after this second visit, we’re sure it won’t be our last! ________ Dovetail Pizza impresses with its well-rounded menu, especially with the Wedge Salad, Pesto Chicken Macaroni, and Prime Rib Pizza. The pizza was so good! The crust was amazing and we got the hot honey on the side. It was some of the best hot honey I had had! We also got the buffalo wings which were amazing (coming from avid wing lovers) and the fried olives (unique and pretty good). We 100% will be back for a nice date night

We stopped by Dovetail on a Saturday evening around 7pm and were pleasantly surprised to find seating without any hassle. The atmosphere was on point. The music matched the space, the energy was relaxed, and it felt like the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings and both were incredible. But what really took the experience to the next level was the service. Our server DJ was easily one of the best parts of the night. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Her recommendations were on point, she checked in at just the right times, and she introduced us to their lineup of house made sauces. DJ’s personality brings serious value to the place. Give her a raise. Seriously. The chimichurri and chili oil were both solid, but the ricotta ranch was the star. Creamy, tangy, and honestly addictive. If you're getting wings or pizza, that sauce is a must. No complaints at all. Great food, great energy, and standout service. We will definitely be back for the meat pizza next time. Sorry I did not get a good picture of the pizza, guess you will just have to see it for yourself.

Great Pizza! Had the Bouldin Creek Chicken Artichoke pizza and had the Fried Castelvetrano Olives for starters, can't go wrong with those, Fantastic! Will definitely be back!

I appreciate places having gluten free options, but there’s much better gluten free pizza out there. It was a $17 cheese pizza normally and then added $5 to make it gf. The crust was basically a cracker, if you like really thin crust this could be for you.

After trying Taverna and Maggiano’s, we felt like we had to give North Italia a try as another Italian spot in The Domain. Parking is pretty easy to find with the pink garage nearby and lot parking behind the restaurant. Setting a reservation is quick and seamless as well as the check-in process. We were quickly seated with high hopes and here’s what we found… The service was okay. Our waiter had a pretty easy job, we ordered our things immediately and he answered a question or two we had about the menu. We didn’t have our water glasses refilled until we were done with our entire meal and ready to pack it up to go, which isn’t the biggest deal but the restaurant was pretty empty at dinner time. The food, likewise, was okay. We ordered the white truffle garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy rigatoni vodka. The best part of everything was the white truffle garlic bread. We got it without the white truffle but the ricotta with the bread was delicious and a great way to start the meal. Unfortunately, everything after that was very much bland or not quite there. The spaghetti and meatballs didn’t taste like anything you can’t make at home with a bit of cooking knowledge and the spicy rigatoni vodka had so many different textures that the entire meal felt uneven. The rigatoni was al dente, the sauce was thin, the meat had different textures with different bites. Just very underwhelming. For what it is, North Italia isn’t bad. However, if you’re looking for a good Italian dinner you can get better at Taverna or even Maggiano’s where the setting and food are better for the same or lower cost. Maybe other dishes are better and we can try another time, we just weren’t wowed here, especially after looking at the final bill.

She stayed friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. You could tell she was juggling a lot, but she handled it with such professionalism and a great attitude. Truly appreciated her effort — she made our experience wonderful!

Great suggestion by our daughter for lunch. The salads were generous with wonderful flavor combinations. The shrimp scampi was 5 stars by itself! We enjoyed the zucchini chips-heavenly....cue angelic music. In addition, we also ordered GF Prosciutto Pizza, topped with goat cheese, Prosciutto, figs, and arugula...simply amazing. Our table of six was sat quickly right around 1pm walk up. We sat inside (quite air conditioned), but the outside seating (covered-fans) was lovely, too. Though we did not part-take, the drink options were abundant and offered everything from sodas and mocktails to beautiful martinis. Go enjoy one when you check them out!

I stopped by North Italia and decided to try the Strawberry and Cream French Toast. The toast was perfectly golden and fluffy, topped with fresh strawberries and a dreamy mascarpone cream that melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich but not overwhelming, and every bite was delicious! Beautifully presented, too! If you’re a brunch lover or have a sweet tooth, this is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for another plate soon!

The hostesses were both lovely, the food delicious, and the waitress Brianne was so attentive, helpful, and sweet. Will definitely be coming back. We had the tortellini al pomodoro, which was so filling and well flavored.

Great spot to get food around 9 PM on 6th street. The pizza slice was very big and the crust had a crisp to it, which was really nice. In the back, there was seating area that made you feel like you were in New York, which was pretty cool. The people working there were super nice, and had a great attitude.

It’s a good street pizza. I think their storefront location close to campus tastes better, but still better than a chain pizza. Service was great… but it is pricey. I think it was like $7 for one slice. But hey when you don’t have competition you can charge it. And if you don’t want to eat there, don’t. I’m sure the rent for that location is extremely expensive

Late night pizza place when hanging out on 6th Street. Great- quick service. Reasonable pricing. The crust was a little chewy for my liking, however it tasted really good. Overall for some quick food and a nice big slice- I'd totally come here. Many different options in their cases. Yes, they do reheat the pie when you order. Although, it seemed to be done in an actual oven and not in a microwave or anything like that.

They had amazing combinations tons of toppings pizza was hot and fresh with just a right amount of chew and stretch with the crust. First time here from Utah!

Wow wow wow one bite-everybody knows the rules! This pizza size was incredible! Served on a busy 6th street in downtown Austin. 2 locations right down the street from each other makes sense because it’s busy and very good pizza. Great undercarriage, no flop, crispy and piping hot pizza served in clsssic pepperoni, meat lovers, Hawaiian and a bunch of others. At $6.50 a slice it’s expensive, but worth it. I wanted to try an entire pie.

I frequent Roppolo’s at least 2x-3x a week. Diego, Adrian, Sergio and the rest of the guys all give great service and make damn good pizza. I love recommending them from my hotel bar downtown.

Wow! I found this place by accident, and I’m SO happy that I can call it one of my favorite pizza spots in Austin! I’m from Chicago, but now living in the Austin area. Any full-blooded Chicagoan will tell you that the BEST pizza in Chicago is the traditional thin crust. The deep dish is good, but the overall favorite for a Chicagoan is the thin crust. Today, I had one of my BEST pizza experiences EVER! I ordered the Margherita with Italian sausage (the #1 pizza topping in Chicago). I was in heaven! Just writing this review 10 hours later has made me SO HUNGRY, that I told my wife I want to go back tomorrow! It’s THAT good! The staff was VERY friendly and patient with me ordering because it was my first time there. I was undecided at first because everything looked delicious! I was glad to meet the owners as we left! Great people! My kind of pizza, my kind of town!

I was just driving through the area when I spotted Marye’s Gourmet Pizza tucked into a cute little row of boutique shops. I only meant to check out the menu, but I ended up walking out with their Mother Load Pizza, & wow, it was seriously delicious. The place was super clean, well-organized, and had a really welcoming vibe. I didn’t know anything about it going in, but the staff made me feel right at home. They were super friendly and attentive the whole time. The pizza was so good, I actually went back later that same day for another one. The staff remembered me and greeted me right away, which was such a nice touch. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re in the area and looking for something new and tasty, definitely check this place out. Highly recommend!

I go to il brutto at least once a month for the past year and love to bring new friends here for the best aperitivo / happy hour in town. Food wise, my favorite items currently on the menu are the burrata pizza, cozze, bottarga + sea urchin pasta, and their house made sorbetto. However, I’m most impressed with their drink menu, including one of the most beautiful vermouth selections I’ve ever seen!! I like to sit at the bar; Liz, Juan, Jay, and Adan have always treated us with the utmost care, provide heavenly drink pairing recommendations, and really know their vermouth. Also, join their new vermouth club!

Everything at Il Brutto was fantastic! The food was incredible. The best lasagna and tiramisu I’ve had (and I’m Italian). Mariah was a great server and took great care of us while we celebrated our anniversary. Definitely coming back to try more!

Everything was phenomenal. We have been living in Austin for almost a year now, and this is the best restaurant we have been to by far. Coming from Jersey, there is not much good Italian out here, but this is! My boyfriend is also from Sicily, and he said nothing can beat his nonna’s cooking, but this comes close!

The appetizer game here is insane and the lasagna absolutely rocks. Seriously though their appetizers might even be better than entrees so this could be a great place to drink and try everything they have.

I came here for a birthday dinner with my husband, my parents, and my father-in-law and we had the great fortune of being served by Joshua for the evening. From start to finish, every bit of our experience was wonderful and Joshua was the perfect shepherd for our Il Brutto journey. We had a lot of semi-chaotic opinions and desires from the table, and Joshua helped us find the best path forward. Highlights of the meal included the prosciutto plate (and the nut-free basil (!!)), the ribeye (12/10), the agnolotti (brown butter, incredible), the bread service, the semifreddo (pickled strawberries? Amazing), and the gelato (the best pistachio ice cream/gelato I’ve ever heard AND best chocolate ice cream/ gelato I’ve ever ever had). Great amaro selection as well! Would absolutely return here for a date night, special occasions, or just a delicious meal for no particular reason. And would have course be delighted to have Joshua as our server again.

Quiet little brewery on the outside of Austin downtown. Ordered beers and got pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. It's thin crust but I got their version of the Hawaiian pizza was and it was sweet and savory! They also used good Canadian bacon but the beers were great to. Some were out of stock but do recommend the Irish red ale. Great place to hangout with a few or lot of friends

Really great brewery! They do lean into the pilsners. Great space with significant outdoor seating. They have a range of pizzas, but the main draw is KG’s BBQ in the parking lot.

Great bar with a big outdoor space. Beer was good, thin crust pizzas were good too. We wanted to taste the Egyptian barbecue but the line was so long so we ended up not tasting any. We were told they were good.

Brewery #6 of Part 2 of my Austin brewery visits. Oddwood Brewing has a little something for everyone, no matter what kind of beer you’re into. Their lineup is diverse, with a solid mix of styles, and they do them all really well. As an IPA fan, I was happy to find a couple of really tasty ones on tap. The vibe is cool, the beer is quality, and it’s a great spot to check out in Austin.

This spacious brewery compliments its excellent beers with exciting pizza & food trucks, a mini arcade, and a shaded playground. They have many tables inside and outside and an attractively crafted hooked wooden bar with stools. The rambling, oddly angled dining room is reminiscent of a Bavarian beer hall. The arcade room is nostalgically decorated, suggesting a childhood game room. They have a free parking lot shared with the strip center next door. During events it can occasionally be challenging to find parking, but worth it for the buzzy atmosphere inside. Although Austin features many brewery and food truck pairings, it is hard to beat this place for the quality of both offerings (currently featuring KG BBQ's Egyptian fusion barbecue).

This place rocks! The beer is so good and the food is so good. Cannot go wrong if you like craft beer and pizza or exotic bbq.

It's always hard to beat a quality bar scene. Lucked out and got a seat at the bar, and had a wonderful experience hanging at the bar with some locals including one that worked at the brewery's taproom. The brews were superlative... not the place for beer fans that gravitate to only hazies, however! Wonderful experience, and wish they were situated in my neck of the woods! UPDATE: my seven days in Texas are now complete, and Oddwood's brews were the best I had!

The building is white and pretty. I liked the taste of the pizza. We had The Daily with pepperoni. Large pepperoni’s. It wasn’t expensive, just as any other pizza location. You can add your own toppings. This pizza would have been better in a wood grill. It wasn’t very clean. There is a patio but it was a hot summer day. Little parking in the very front. Three regular spots and one handicap. Street parking is available. They also serve beer

I went to pizza press last night with my friend and got a build your own. I got a pizza with pepperoni,pineapple, mushrooms, olives, and mushrooms and it was pretty good and flavorful. I know that my pizza sounds disgusting but don’t hate on it unless you try it. The service was also tuff as I saw my boy there and he was an absolute chiller. Would highly recommend this place but not for a date as it didn’t go so well for me. Furthermore I almost choked and died while eating my pizza so make sure to take small bites and enjoy your pizza !

I was very pleasantly surprised! I got to see my pizza and cheesy bread be made right Infront of me (which was really nice to know it was fresh out the oven!), the workers were SUPER nice and pleasant to talk to, and it was for a really good price! Pizza press was such a lovely location for me and 12 of my friends. It was surprisingly quick for how long the line was and the service was great. Nice workers, good vibes, and good seating. The menu was extensive and had really great options. The side of the pizza absolutely sufficed my hunger and the added crunch was super delightful. I would definitely reccomend to anyone looking for good pizza in the area

The food was amazing, really solid pizza with good flavor. The deep dish cookie was great too, albeit a little less flavorful than i was hoping. It paired nicely with the ice cream. The seating and atmosphere was okay, but pretty normal for a pizza place.

Best Vegan Pizza in Austin!! We got the Meat lovers and Pina Jalapeño. I find it hard to find good vegan pizza with Gluten free crust and this had it all🍕

Best. Vegan. Pizza. Ever. I have been dairy & meat free for 15 years; never in my life have I come across a pizza as luxurious as this that I can eat! The almond ricotta is to die for. As is the service; never a long wait, the garlic knots are incredible, etc I could really go on and on. This is one vegan spot that I have (meat eating) friends ask to return to! The cherry on top is taking it over and eating on Tweedys patio.

Friendly folks served a great food for us. Pizzas are different and out of anything that we tasted before though all of them are made of the same base. The garlic knots are really good and tasty.

The most magical space with incredible pizza! The bread, toppings, and vegan cheese were delicious! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal and getting a drink in the place next to the food trucks. Wish I could buy a bottle of the ranch to take home!

We came searching for Detroit-style pizza and this place is the real deal! Sat at the bar on a Saturday and had a great time talking with Joe. Wife and I split a 4 piece and really appreciated that you can split the toppings. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was very good while the pizza cooked. The venue was getting crowded around 7:00 PM and seeing all the locals come in is always a good sign. The pizza was best I’ve had (and I don’t say that lightly). Specialty topping combinations are unique and go very well together. The place is perfectly clean, spacious and cool in the TX heat. I would go back every time in Austin. The picture says it all.

Via 313 is my go-to spot whenever we are in town, honestly, I prefer their Detroit-style pizza over many I’ve had in Detroit itself. It never disappoints! The staff has always been super friendly since our first visit back in 2019. A memorable moment: during that first visit, we asked if they had a gluten-free dessert. They didn’t at the time, but the chef heard about it and surprised us by offering us a cinnamon-sugar dessert on the spot free of charge, something they were testing for the menu. It was amazing! When we saw it officially added to the menu later on, we smiled, feeling like we were part of its story. If you’re looking for a great Detroit style gluten-free pizza and genuinely kind people, this is the place.

I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️

We ordered online and picked up. It was easy and the pizza was delicious! We got a gluten free pepperoni and sausage with gluten free cinnamon sticks. The dough was so bouncy and soft, hard to believe it’s gf! I especially loved how the cheese baked to a perfect crisp on the outside of the pizza. Chefs kiss! The cinnamon sticks were very good as well and come with icing drizzled on top. I’ll certainly be back here!

Everything was so good from service to food. I had my waiter pick out my pizza order for me as I was feeling adventurous. My small Detroit pizza was half & half. Half Cadillac & Half Bobo. The Cadillac was something I would have never ordered on my own but it tasted so amazing just the mix of the cheese with the sweetness of the fig and tanginess of the balsamic vinaigrette was perfect. The Cadillac will be my new favorite pizza to eat from now after trying it. The service was also an amazing experience as everyone was so nice when it came to refills and asking me how everything tasted. Will 100% be coming back

The pizza was very good and the online ordering system is thorough and makes addressing unique preferences very clear. Food costs are through the roof and this establishment is staying on the curve in order to be a going concern long term. In short a large two topping pizza came out just sub $40 at the time of writing. No sodas, no sides, pickup. This is not a complaint, just the facts. Will I order again, absolutely. Will it be in regular rotation, probably reserved for when I really crave it.

Clean spot, with great food. I felt like the basic Italian was too basic… needed more flavor. As for the Reuben, it was solid, but I would NOT recommend ordering sides—not only did they need more flavor (more acid in the slaw and potato salad) but you’re getting charged almost $3 for 4 ounces of the sides ($2.75 if I recollect). I would need the sides to be bigger AND more flavorful to justify that!

Pizza is awesome! I’m from Brooklyn and the cheese and deluxe slices were so good - some of the best NY-style pizza I’ve had in Austin. Up there with Homeslice! The thin crust was yeasty and crunchy, yet chewy. Service was quick and friendly. Easy, free parking. Def will be back!

I got a sandwich and pizza to test them both and they're both dynamite. Both were super solid and came out quickly even though it was lunch rush. Everybody I talked with while there really cared about what they were doing and it showed. Bathrooms were immaculate. The atmosphere was slightly lacking( no decorations really ) but I'm absolutely going back there again. Paid 16 bucks and left uncomfortably full.

Second time to visit this spot in Austin, we saw the same manager, same clean establishment, same consistent product. The food is quality and consistent we made a point to stop back here our second trip so we could enjoy a good meal. My wife loves the chicken salad sandwich. I had the pastrami my first visit and the Italian sandwich the second visit. The chocolate cookies are amazing. Being a chef we look fr hidden gems quality and consistency. This place has it.

I’ve been hunting for 4 years for a deli that reminds me of the mom and pop shops in New York. Hit this place on a whim with my wife and we were not disappointed. No pictures, sorry. We ate it too fast. Felix and Margaret took great care of us and had those little touches that made it a great meal. I had a half of Harry’s Perfect Pastrami and half a Gourmet Italian. Both were outstanding! Bread is awesome, lots of meat! Perfect coleslaw, and I’m dang picky. The Gourmet Italian is the perfect sandwich, for both my wife and I. She had a great tuna salad on a Kaiser Roll and really liked it as well. Definitely will be back again and again!

Food is great, which, of course, is very important. The cashier was not very friendly, maybe he was having a bad day. When I specifically asked for a medium pizza box to take home our leftovers, 3 pizza slices, half a calzone, and half a large sub, I was instead given paper plates, 3 small foil squares, and 2 paper bags to pack up everything individually. I understand controlling paper cost, which is one of a restaurants' major expenses. At the same time, we spent over $100 and gave a fair tip. I do not understand this logic.

Wow! What a great find. We were in the area and came here based on Google reviews. It didn’t disappoint. I had the chicken salad sandwich with a cup of tomato basil soup. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak. The chicken salad was huge and fresh, served on a big poppyseed roll. The soup was a generous portion with homemade croutons. My husband enjoyed his big sandwich. For dessert we split a piece of carrot cake which was so good that we got another piece to take home. Best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Felix waited on us and was very prompt and cheerful. People next to us were eating pizza which looked delicious. We don’t live in the area but will make a special trip to come here again. Their bakery case was stocked with tempting cakes and cookies that looked homemade. Don’t hesitate to check this place out!

First time at Baldinucci to try the Roman style pizza and really enjoyed it. I appreciate that I can buy the pizza by the slice, each slice is around 6 to 8 dollars. They have a variety of topping options and we especially enjoyed the red sauce pizzas. My favorite was the hot sausage and grandma‘s pizza (Nonna). I really enjoyed the crust. They also have New York style pizza and gelato. I’ve heard great things about their garlic nuts, but I didn’t get to try that this time. They’re located in a plaza so there’s plenty of shared parking.

Hands down the best gluten free pizza! I have Celiac and can eat here safely. Husband loves the original.

If you are going to advertise that you sell gluten free pizza then send this burnt cracker that has edges SO sharp I could slit my wrists with it ~ which is exactly what I wanted to do while eating it. I would respect a restaurant more if they say they don't offer gluten free options then serving this depressing mess.

Omg, it’s as good as the other reviews say. The mortadella was my favorite & the family favorite! The spicy honey, garlic knots, and gelato were all absolutely delicious as well. The service was helpful, fast, and friendly. The dining area is quaint and clean. We got there at noon on a Thursday with no wait and a nice, steady flow of people. There was always seating available. We’re huge fans now and can’t wait to bring family and friends to try Baldinucci’s.

I’ve had pizza from coast to coast. This is ABSOLUTELY the best pizza I’ve ever had. So fresh and so flavorful. Service was exceptional. My belly is very happy.

🍕 Baldinucci 🍕 This pizza was incredible. I was so excited to try a handful of different slices with a friend here! The buffalo chicken slice was surprisingly super good. It was quite spicy which I loved. I’m not a big buffalo sauce fan but this was great. The sausage and honey slice was also incredible - the perfect balance and the crust is so perfect as well. The mortadella slice was just incredible as well. So much flavor and the pesto was so bold. I will definitely be back to try more slices here!! The prices were slightly high as each slice was about $8/9 and you would need about 2 slices to be full.

Several years ago I tried out this restaurant because it was very close to my new home and I was also having a craving for some good pizza that was healthy ish pizza.🍕 This is by far and hands down the best Vegan pizza that I have ever had. It really is. It's so fresh. Not only was the food absolutely fantastic, but the customer service was great as well and they were all very helpful, friendly and professional. I normally see the same couple of guys and Willie is always super friendly And not to mention, the grilled or blackened brussel sprouts that I ordered were so amazing that they barely made them home without me diving into them! Whatever sauce they use is out of this world. (I think it has Sriracha or some sort of a hot sauce on it, it's friggin delicious is what it is!) The pizza was very fresh and still very warm and all taste it absolutely delicious, very fresh and wholesome and the presentation, the detail taken and making it was evident. The lil Mac pizza was unexpectedly scrum diddly scrumptious and I don't normally try new ish pizzas or entrees unless I know I'll like it for certain. It's great for your carb loading days for fuel and energy in the gym. 💪 I normally get the Veg Out Pizza, with the gluten free crust, with xtra spinach and xtra artichokes, but recently I tried the meat out which is made in-house with fresh vegan pepper and sausages, I think they beets as sausage on the pizza was extremely tasty and wonderful too. They make a homemade vegan oatmeal cream pie that will melt in your mouth. 🤤 They also have excellent and quite yummy vegan ice cream here too. My all-time favorite is the Death Metal by Chocolate 🍫 But the Loyal Buddies and the Sun Chip is delectable also. I also recently tried the Chocolate Fudge Crumb 🍫 by Luv Fats which is friggin delicious. 😋 If you like chocolate you'll love this one. ... (The Sun Out ice cream pairs very well with either a Peroni or Stella Artois beer and a protein banana 🍌 pancake) 🥞 And don't ask me how I know this. 😉 I will definitely be coming here again, and again, and again, for sure. I highly recommend this place if you like pizza, and not just pizza but really good ice cream, pizza that is on the healthy side, vegan, vegetarian or healthy food or just great food in general! 🙏 Keep up the great work here, you guys totally rock. 🎸

I had the cheese NY slice and WOW! I’ve never had vegan cheese like this! They make their vegan mozz in house and it shows! Definitely doesn’t have that gummy/chewy feeling most processed vegan cheeses have! Their garlic knots were good as well but the pizza is the star!! ⭐️

Big Nonnas makes their own toppings and the combination of their delicious toppings and perfect pizza crust resulted in a gastronomic pizza experience - the best I’ve had in the Austin area in last 7 years since moving here. We got the Meat Out which was so good I forgot to take a pic until we had consumed half of it. Our friends got the Beeteroni pizza. Let’s talk about the Beeteroni. They take beets and make them into pepperoni like slices but with flavor that is out of this world! It’s so very good. The fact that EVERYTHING is vegan means you can’t go wrong ordering anything on their menu. 2/24/2023 - tried the single slice Sicilian pizza with added toppings of roasted garlic, artichoke heart and Beeteroni - again the aroma wafting from just one piece was mouthwatering. Flavor was fantastic - dough is thicker but light with just the right firmness on the bottom. Again a winner! I’ve added a photo of the single slice.

Let’s start with the food! I could tell a lot of effort went into the pizza sauce as this is what made everything come together. Full of a deep garlic flavor with traditional Italian seasonings, the sauce certainly carried this slice into what I consider one of the best pizza places I have even eaten at. It was the roasted garlic for me!!! The bread, well I don’t know what it was made of but it was so incredibly soft and the sides were slightly crispy. It kinda reminded me of a deep dish pizza, similar to the dee dishes you would have at Chicago. The cheese was also very delicious! I still can’t believe it’s vegan! I enjoyed their refreshing lemonade, also totally vegan! Wheeew! This place was certainly a hit. I will be returning very soon.

I've been vegan for a little more than 10years and this is by far THE BEST PIZZA I've had!!!!!!! I got half "Meat Out" and the other half "Supreme". I've never had pizza with beets, this topping added an excellent flavor and texture to it all! The crust was on point, not too thick, dry, chewy, or hard, simply perfect! I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, this too was perfect! The biggest issue for me with cookies purchased from vegan restaurants is that they are overly sweet (I am a huge cookie lover), but this made for a pleasant sweet treat after. The price of their menu is very fair. My non-vegan friends loved it as well. Big Nonna's, keep doing your thing!!!

Best vegan pizza in Austin. Everything is flavourful and delicious. Have been here many times, including their sister location at Li'l Nonna's. Beeteroni and veg outs are our favorite. Their specials are great too. Fig and banh mi specials are the ones I recall.

A 10 of 10 pizza restaurant. Relaxed walk up window, HOT and fresh pizza. They have roughly 8 different flavors to choose from. What’s super fun is you order by the slice mostly and they allow you to make a full pizza of 6 slices since all their pizza is one size. Loved the experience and absolutely will be coming back. Great for a quick bite or a relaxed date night!

I walked into All Day Pizza in Austin thinking I’d just grab a slice to taste test and a dessert as I had already eaten… and somehow ended up on a full culinary journey. One slice turned into a Caesar salad “taste test,” a creamy tiramisu adventure, and a truly spectacular coffee-meets-ice cream situation called the affogato. Every bite felt intentional, balanced, and way too good for my original plan of “just a snack.” The vibe? Like someone crossbred an artisanal pizzeria with a chill game café. You could chill there for hours to play table games while inhaling another slice. Bonus points — the kitchen runs smoother than an espresso shot. These folks clearly know what they’re doing.

This place is awesome. Austin needed a top tier nyc pizza slice shop and all day delivers. My favorites are the cheese, pep pep, and tomato tomatoe (trust me). The soft serve is incredible and the Cesar salad is one of the best in Austin. Don’t sleep on either! The owner, Daniel, cares about his product and his patrons and you can tell. Don’t let the line scare you. It moves fast and look at it time well spent with people you hopefully enjoy spending time with :)

This is an amazing pizza place right across from Camp Marbry Their NY style pizzas are top-notch! 👌🏽 Lots of options to choose from - so we got a slice or two of 6 different pizzas The pickle pizza is unique and delicious! Not too tangy but just enough to make it interesting The standards like Margherita are very good too. And their gelato is a fantastic way to wrap up a wonderful meal The seating is all outdoor - it’s beautiful and well-ventilated, even in Austin summers.

Cute little walk up pizza window. Wine bar is located inside the building. The pizza is great and I understand why it is raved about. I love that you can order by the slice so you can try a little bit of everything. We had a ceasar salad as well and it was wonderful. The service was very quick and everything was fresh. It was a great spot for a cute double date. Everyone seemed to be very dressed up here for the occasion. We can't wait to visit the other location as well. -It gets VERY busy so expect to be waiting outside in a long line. -If you're dining with a group I would suggest someone to go order the drinks from inside and be on the lookout for a table while the other orders the food. -There is no parking for the restaurant so you have to park along the street (which is down a hill.) Be prepared to walk. -There is limited seating inside and most seating is outside. There are a few fans but it is still quite warm.

Such a quaint little restaurant and a food date spot. We tried the Stracciatella and the Sweet Sausage. Very tasty! There can a line so I’d recommend coming in later in the evening. Only downside is that is near a busy street. 10/10 pizzas 🍕

Went here for a friend’s Birthday and had such an incredible time. Service was attentive but also hands off. Food was of the highest quality. The steak, tartare, pizzas were all just incredible ! I can not wait to come back and feast again!

Pecan Square Cafe gives full on adobe western energy with a side of elegance. I got this recommendation from a guy at our hotel pool and he nailed it. Think laid back sophistication and plates that surprised me. I started with a crab salad. It was chunks of cold crab in a white sauce set over green beans. Then, my tile fish came swimming in a zesty white sauce that i perked up for. Our service was very friendly!

One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. From the food to the ambiance this restaurant is perfect. Food was very well constructed and thought out. Beautiful flavors and presentation with every plate. The menu is constantly changing so take advantage of what you see. We'll definitely return.

The best restaurant in Austin!! It is a little pricier for some, but the cost is well worth it. I am always happy with the starters, pizzas, salads, entrees, and cocktails. It is a go to date night or for any out of towners you’re trying to show what the city has to offer. Chelsea and the rest of the kitchen staff work wonders. We come time after time and it’s a stellar night every night we have dinner here.

Our waitress terry was the best. She stayed late for us and was so kind with our pretty difficult table. Unfortunately, though, I got food poisoning last night from this place. I had Texas wagyu cruda and it tasted good but sort of freaked me out because of the string-iness of the meat but the flavor was good. We got the last dishes of the night at this place and I think the meat they gave me must have been bad. I recommend this place for the wine but do not go for the food or you may be down and out for a couple of days due to food poisoning.

We went for dinner and had Rae as our server- she was fantastic. The food was good, smaller portions. I had the steak bavette and it came with a delicious bernaise sauce and 4 tiny fingerling potatoes. My friend has an allergy to onion and garlic- Rae came prepared with a selection of meals that they could modify to easily accommodate my friend. She had the shrimp with crispy rice and a romesco sauce. She said it was good.I would call it elevated simple, clean food. The fig leaf ice cream for dessert was the star of the food. Came the next day for brunch and had the porchetta sandwich with fries. It was good. Would come back! Be warned, parking is a bear.

Great pizza with great people making the pizza very friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to meet up and have a slice or a whole pie. The pepperoni was excellent, you must try the cacio pepe pizza. They are using fresh local ingredients and you can taste the quality of this pizza.

All the pizzas here are good but that sweet sausage is something else. I daydream of it. I night dream of it. Sometimes I can taste it by simply remembering it. Do yourself a favor and put that sweet, sweet sausage in your mouth and savor the flavor.

Great addition to the bar, but takes all day to make. Waited more than an hour, people were getting upset... looked like they were working slowly. Food was ok; not crispy, chewy, flavorful enough, but toppings seem fresh.

Numero 28 specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizza, and they do it so well! I had the 12-inch Diavola pizza, which is topped with spicy salami and cut into 6 slices. The crust was soft and chewy and the ingredients tasted so fresh and high-quality. I even reheated my leftovers the next day in the oven and they held up beautifully. I also enjoyed a refreshing Hugo spritz. They have select brunch cocktails for $8 — definitely check the brunch menu to see which ones are included (the Hugo spritz, sadly, is not). Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Southern Italian cuisine in downtown Austin!

Great place with a lot of atmosphere however that was as far as it went. The was worst bruschetta I've had; the bread wasn't even toasted and the 🍕 although oven fired was soggy. I wouldn't recommend if your going for the food. I guess I expected more from this little pizza place than they could offer.

Great Italian food, drinks and great service. We had the Prosciutto di Parma con Bufalo Mozzarella, Taglieri de la Casa, Spaghettial All'Amatriciana and the Penne Boscaiola. Every thing was perfect although I did recommend the prosciutto be served with roasted red peppers. Our bartender Brandon was EXCELLENT! Very personable and as tourist from Boston, by the way which has no shortage of great Italian restaurants, Brandon was very helpful offering lots of suggestions on what to do in Austin. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE!

We didn't have to wait long to be seated. We got a table inside. The waiter was nice, but due to the noise level, it was difficult to hear him, especially since there was a language barrier. We got the Rustica and Cacio E Pepe. The pizza was good. The crust was very light and tasty. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't very good. It was undercooked and didn't have enough salt. It's as if they didn't cook it long enough to be al dente and absorb the salt. The place is small so the tables were very close together. Due to the small space, it was uncomfortably warm, and that's coming from someone who's usually cold everywhere we go.

Atmosphere is good! Feelt like Europe! Food is authentic as they advertise! However I went there for this specific pasta that gets served in a cheese wheel and that dish was not good it was way too salty I couldn’t even eat it! But the lasagna was pretty good! It was very expensive considering it’s not a fancy restaurant!

Ordered the September special pizza “bacon pear-adise” and their mission pizza. Both were absolutely beautiful. Lovingly crafted pizzas with edge to edge toppings. Soooo much flavor, definitely one of, if not, my favorite pizza spots in Austin!

It’s a really yummy pizza spot, but when it comes to getting additional ingredients I think they are very finicky on that part. I ordered the bigger size and I feel like there wasn’t enough chicken added for what I paid extra for. Plus the order is hardly ready at the time the online ordering tells you. I think those two things could improve. Other than that it is a decent spot.

This pizza was delicious! We loved the crust, toppings were fresh and yummy. If I’d have read the reviews closer, I’d have seen that it was a window order only restaurant… so don’t make my mistake. Also, the one bad thing… it’s right around the corner from a homeless shelter. While we were waiting for the pizza, a couple of men were fighting in the street, and other homeless people were screaming at each other.

Defo will go again to try new pies. Best pizza in Austin so far. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food and the people were super nice. Pizza even warmed up well the next day when I didn’t finish. The only thing better than the cheesy garlic knots was my beautiful girlfriend next to me to share them with.

Stopped by Hoboken Pie after the UT game this past Saturday with my family and the pizza was delicious and so were the Garlic Knots. Might be the best pizza I had in town. And I want to shout out the manager Scott who was very helpful and patient as it was our first time here, his customer service was great even during a busy weekend as it turned out it was their grand re-opening. The atmosphere and the vibes was nice! Will definitely comeback.

Ordered online. Took over a hour and my order was incorrect with no way to reach the store for a resolution. Also, the best thing we ordered were the garlic knots and we ordered a pizza... so that says a lot. The pizza was mediocre at best, great marketing to trick people into thinking this is related to NYC pizza.

Originally booked our reservation and unfortunately, our Uber took us to the wrong side of town and we were pushing time a little bit late. The manager Elle was so gracious enough to still let us in 10 minutes before close and was so attentive and excited to take care of us. Our server Tyler was amazing. He provided us with such amazing service and also made us feel really special for our anniversary. We definitely loved this place so much, and it was such a memorable experience, and it felt so great to be prioritized the way that we were. Phenomenal hospitality and food was on another level.

Hospitality here is truly unmatched! Chef Sterling and the entire staff at Juniper went above and beyond to make our evening special. We were celebrating our 18th anniversary and my birthday all the way from Sugar Land TX and they even surprised me with a little birthday gift — that’s unheard of! We were treated to some incredible chef specials on the house, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, and the food… absolutely phenomenal. We had the pleasure of sitting at the chef’s table, which had a cozy, low-light ambiance and a spotless, inviting atmosphere. From start to finish, the service, the food, and the experience were all five stars. Our bill was only $100! (Tip not included) Highly recommend dining here — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Unforgettable dinning! the staff at juniper provided a six star experience. Beyond grateful for their efforts. Every single dish was above and beyond. We enjoyed the chefs selection menu, and I am so glad we did - although the standard menu looked incredible as we watched those dishes being prepared and sensitive put to other dinning patrons. The staff was very kind and helpful and fun, the food was incredible, atmosphere was festive and energetic - we had a great time in Austin and our meal at juniper was the pinnacle of the trip. Truly grateful we.chose to dine at Juniper, if you a re seeking top.notch dining in Austin Texas consider juniper. This meal reminded me of Etch in Nasheville which was also a very special experience.

We absolutely loved our dishes. We chose the chefs table which I probably wouldn’t do again. It was very hot and steamy. Also, we got there right at opening and wish we would have been sat closer to where the chefs were prepping but instead we got sat near the bar and oven. We couldn’t see the chefs at all. There was plenty of room. We got the focaccia and potato appetizer. Both good. However, what stole the night were the pastas. I hate shrimp in most cases but took a chance on the rock shrimp pasta and it was divine! I mean it was perfection. Every bite was mouth watering. My husband got the pork pasta. I don’t recall the actual names. He was on cloud nine as well. We both decided these may be the best pastas we’ve had. Mine was so light and rich at the same time. The drinks! Also- perfection and unique. Everything here was very meticulous. Desserts are OK. Sorry - we just really love our dessert from Intero. 😆

The experience at this restaurant was unlike any other before. Ambiance, service, food quality — all of it was above and beyond. We were in town for my friend’s bachelorette weekend and wanted a break from the classic tex-mex and BBQ that Austin is known for. Juniper delivered. For our reservation, we were offered an opportunity to sit at the chef’s counter; we would come back and do this again without a shred of doubt. Being able to watch the kitchen work like a well oiled machine was incredible. Not only were we able to see the food made first hand, but the chef was incredibly generous and kind, gifting us with an additonal appetizer and a dessert at the end of our meal. All of the staff were wonderful, from the hostess who greeted us upon arrival, the service staff and the kitchen staff; we were warmly greeted and able to make conversation with several staff members, including the chef. Now, the FOOD! We chose the House Focaccia appetizer with whipped ricotta and calabrian honey; the flavors complimented one another so well and the ricotta’s texture combined with the honey was unmatched and the focaccia was fresh and delicious. Chef gifted us with the Gnocchi Di Patate appetizer, and this was a first glance into what this kitchen can do with pasta. The gnocchi immediately melted in our mouths and was complimented wonderfully with the turnips and bergamot. For entrees, we each ordered a pasta — the Cacio e Pepe and the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and we shared a side of the broccolini. The pasta, all made in house, was presented beautifully. The vodka sauce was spiced to perfection, and the house made rigatoni combined with the burrata and vodka sauce was an experience to behold. The cacio e pepe provided the perfect amount of pepper. The broccolini was pleasantly charred to perfection and covered in fresh parmigiana. Our gifted dessert from the chef was from their 6-course tasting menu, the Limonata Drop. This was amazingly textured, almost like a big gusher (as chef described it to us!) that tasted of limoncello and yuzu. All in all, do yourself a favor and stop in if you have yet to do so.

My party of six women visiting from out of town ate here mainly because we could get in right away and we sat outside on the porch, which that part was lovely. The food was just ok, especially for the price. Our server was nice but not very attentive. They included a 20% tip, and an additional 3% “wellness fee” which when we asked they said was a Covid fee to pay for “stuff like staff insurance” and later was told it was listed on the menu. After looking again, It was written very very tiny on the bottom. Also they overcharged us on several items. A couple bucks more for my friend’s pasta and my sister and I both got the salmon which on the menu was $42 and instead they charged us both $45. She noted it was an accidental oversight but I don’t think so. I think it was intentional and they hope most people don’t notice or don’t care enough about the $3 difference here and there to say anything. After we got home I looked on Open Table reviews to see that others mentioned incorrect charges too … hmm, interesting. The salmon was just ok and was a small meal for the price. The “little lettuce” was more like “teeny tiny” lettuce. Pastas were just ok, not great, especially for the price and extra fees. I would never go back here and don’t recommend it. Now I know why it wasn’t crowded…deceitful, overpriced, average service, average food.

Every North Italia I’ve visited, I’ve loved, and this location is no different. This location is in walking distance of the library and a few other places. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and tried the asparagus for the first time (which is also good). I prefer north Italia over the super “fancy” Italian places I’ve had. I’ve had their calamari, different pastas and pizza, everything spot on. The service is also really good too and each staff member is great!

Stopped in for some appetizers while on a little road trip. We had the calamari and Arancini. They are both served with an aioli and both are different and delightful in their own respects. I used both on each of the apps. The calamari comes with a little arugula salad on the plate and if you dont like heat. Don't eat it. However, I loooooved it. We also ordered the panna cotta for dessert. We were brought the most splendid spoon imaginable. It had a pleasant mouth feel, and as a neurodivergent individual, the mouth feel of a spoon is important when consuming a plate meant to ensnare the senses. I could not be more in love with it. As our server said, "That one is yummers" which i loved and told her I may be stealing that phrase, then she followed up with "Its a one way ticket to yumville, for sure''. It had a topping of fruit which I enjoyed but hubby said it didnt need it. I have to say its good with or without it but I must also note that having the fruit adds an extra layer of complexity that really elevates it.

This place is for sure one of my favourite places in the city! I’ve been there a few times and every single dish is worth trying. I personally recommend the pesto pasta and the lasagna. And their desserts are also amazing!!

North Italia downtown- great time and delicious food. Anytime there’s risotto, I have to get it, so I did. So tasty. Thanks to Brittany for the great recommendations; you’re right the bruschetta was delicious.

Amazing place... Outstanding food and service. Thank you Andy R. For accommodating our party...we had some food allergies and he made sure we could substitute and make our experience exceptional. Would highly recommend for any event. Price is great for the amazing food.

Delicious food!! Such a beautiful atmosphere, and the service is amazing! Our server, Roan, was so kind, friendly, and recommended to me great dishes! I had the Key Lime Pie cocktail - it truly tasted just like a key lime pie, and it was super strong (great value!!) For my entree, I had the seared scallops, and it was such a wonderful meal. The scallops were perfectly tender and paired with the sweet corn risotto and the fried scallops so well 😭😭 My partner got the Seared Short Ribs and they were DELICIOUSSSSS! Lastly, for dessert, we had the Hazelnut Torta. It was crunchy, light, sweet but not too sweet, and overall a perfect dessert! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area - this will be our go-to Italian restaurant from now on! Huge thank you to Roan for taking such good care of our huge table and for being so kind, accomodating, and for your recommendations! You turned a 10/10 experience into a 1000/10 one! 🫶

I’m pretty skeptical about chains and try to avoid…. But North Italia, especially this location is truly five stars across the board. Amazing, fresh food that is served piping hot and seasoned perfectly. I LOVED the eggplant and all three pasta dishes we ordered. The drinks were also great. The real star, though, was Mikey. He was on top of it and amazingly kind and funny. He made our night so fun. (And he didn’t ask us to write this!) I love restaurants that just have good culture and vibes and it’s clear North Italia is that girl!!

Don't come here unless you want dry, overcooked, cold food. We should've took the empty parking lot as a red flag and not eaten here. We were seated with no wait, and the waitress came to get drink orders and bless her heart. She made everything difficult and confusing. Talking about how the flavored teas they had on the menus weren't blended or mixed together or something like that, and they were syrups. Also adding to the confusion by saying "we're not like red robin or red lobster that have the mixed flavored teas". So we just said that was fine even though we didn't really understand her. We also got the raspberry Italian soda, but then the bartender comes over to the table saying that they're out of raspberry syrup because they're waiting on shipments to come in. Which is understandable because that's not really their fault, but maybe you should tell people that you're out of something instead of letting us order it. Ordered calamari as an appetizer and it came out cold and barely even crispy. Main dishes came out later on. We got the lemon rosemary chicken (don't get it. Flavor is not that good, veggies had a weird rotten flavor, and chicken was so so so dry), classic Alfredo with shrimp (was ok had a weird taste to it), spicy shrimp and chicken pasta (was decent and really good spice to it, but not worth the price), and the spicy Romano chicken (same as the other spicy pasta, decent but not worth the price).

I had been to this restaurant before and didn't have the best experience, but after shopping near by, we decided to stop in and try it again. We were very happy with our meal tonight. For one, our server was awesome. He was quick and attentive. The bread and salad were super fresh, so I was almost full by time my meal came. The lasagna was awesome and they have a deal to take one home for $5.99. We left full and with another meal for later. The prices for the meals are a little steep, but that's just where the economy is right now.

We ordered a kids plate and 2 Dinners to go. All of the pastas had the same amount. Barely any pasta. Looks like they put 1 scoop of pasta. I literally just picked it up from a 25 min drive and am disappointed. $60 for that little amount is crazy work. Wish I could take my tip back.

I was really excited to come to Johnny Carino's since I haven't been to one in 20 years! The bread was hard as a rock. The Alfredo sauce tasted like great value plain and basic walmart sauce and the ravioli was like 5 or 6 for 20 bucks!! I paid 1.99 extra for the nasty Alfredo sauce. My husband got a sandwich and the bread was hard on it also. His drink had a leak and we had to ask the waiter 4x before he finally gave him new drink. He sat there for over half an hour with no drink at all cause it all leaked out everywhere. He even walked past our table several times between us asking and still didn't get it and he only had two other tables. So bad service and bad food. I was so disappointed and definitely won't ever go back and advise family and friends against trying it if they are in this area.

I was still looking for it to this restaurant. Ours closed down probably 12 years ago. I didn’t know that they were still around. We ordered the skillet with sausage turns out there was more grease and there was sauce not impressed. I JUST CAN’T

Build your own pasta was good. Fettuccine Alfredo was below average. On the plus side, our server was outstanding.

Very friendly service, but it took a long time for my food to come out despite the restaurant not being busy at the time. The scampi was really good and plentiful, but the pizza was slightly burnt. My server, Hayden K, was very pleasant & attentive. Price was reasonable. A bit of an odor when I dined in; not sure what that was. Otherwise dining in was just fine.
