Location isn’t the easiest to find, parking can be tricky, with small parking spaces. Multiple business in close proximity so parking can get full pretty quickly. Food was decent, came out quickly too! Rice is tasty and fragrant as expected from Mediterranean restaurant. Lots of items on menu for everyone’s liking. Burgers, tacos and sandwiches available if you’re interested in ordering them. Plenty of seating space inside.

Finally made my way up here to see what all the talk was about and it did not disappoint. Probably the best middle eastern food I've ever had. I had the Mix plate with beef and chicken tikka and the meat was awesome. The hummus was hands down the best I've ever had. I wish they had a south location!

Super authentic, this place has won first place for best falafel wrap in my book! They crisp up the falafel wrap so nicely and it’s also huge! I got the mixed grilled meat kebabs plate for my husband, it comes with so much: a huge bread that’s fluffy and soft like pita but thicker, rice, and what my husband and his friend said was the best hummus they had. And they don’t even usually like hummus! They kept saying “wow!” as they ate the hummus The only minor drawback is that the area that this restaurant is in is a bit run down and has many homeless people walking around, so in case you care about ambiance then just note that! But would definitely come back again and try more times on the menu!! They also have free hot tea which I thought was so fragrant :) the people running the restaurant were incredibly kind and thoughtful as well

Something is hiding in Austin and is so good!!! Did you know they offer complimentary tea? Yes they do!!! Omg! Amazing service, and great food, but the downside is the interior is so outdated, and the outside the same way.

When we’re craving authentic Mediterranean food, Usta Kababgy is our go-to spot — hands down. The flavors are always on point, and the quality never disappoints. We absolutely love their Beef Kebab and Tenderloin Tikka — both are incredibly juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. Their falafel is also a must-try: crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside. And we never leave without getting the Basbousa for dessert — it’s perfectly sweet, moist, and the ideal way to end the meal. If you’re looking for a spot that serves Mediterranean food done right, this is it.

Food was good overall, the beef wrap was very tasty and so were the fries, the mixed platter with the kofta and beef kebab was a flavor packed meal, the nann was pretty good hot and fresh, and the garlic sauce was really good and worked with any meal you had, not a bad experience just only the ac wasn’t working but we had a fan so not bad.

This is definitely a new favorite! I’m already excited to try this restaurant again! We went for a birthday lunch and the service was amazing! We were a party of 7, and the service was attentive and fast! Because it was my birthday, I also received a complimentary dessert-for my whole party!

A quick bite before we headed east. This place was AMAZING. The service, the glassware, the tea, the water... all of it was impeccable. Sorry, food was too good we ate before I snapped pic. Presentation was GORGEOUS. They even only had green tea hot so I asked if they could shake it over ice for gee and VIOLA, done with a smile on their faces. This is a place where hospitality MEANS SOMETHING. The check presenter was a sardine can y'all.... how funny!

We didn’t have a reservation so we were lucky enough that the bar had open seats! Ordered the pork belly buns and umami chicken wings and could have easily eaten those the whole night!! So good!!! We came in hungry and left more than full! Would definitely come again and recommend to everyone!

Really awesome brunch with really awesome people at a really awesome reunion. The omelet was good. There was noodles and pork and some veggies inside wrapped in an omelet. I ate other people’s food too because it was right after an early flight and they all tasted good too: French toast with Nutella, French toast with avocado, kimchi rice, breakfast bowl, scallion puffs.

Father's day dinner experience. My son took me to the Burnet location this past Sunday for a treat. I had not been there for years, and it was a nice food surprise. Due to the "tortilla" in their name, I assumed it was a Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant. My bad. Food: Their food is a fusion of Asian flavors with a Southern twist. What an interesting and original concept. And they deliver. I had their BBQ pulled pork tacos and the bacon jam fries. Both were a pleasurable mouthful with a touch of sweetness. Besides that, my son treated me to a cocktail. I added sparkling water. For dessert, I tried their intriguing banana, Nutella fried spring roll with a side of whipped cream. 3 bites of crunchy outside filled with warm, creamy banana pieces with a sweet touch of Nutella. A well balance, not too sweet, perfect dessert for me. 5 stars for taste and originality. Service: Our waitress was very Southern with her "y'all" and "honey" language. She was also very efficient and a great sales lady. She knew her menu upside down, and her descriptions were very convincing. 5 stars to her. Brunch was extremely mid. Probably the worst brussels sprouts i’ve ever had — extremely dry and flavorless. The char siu pork had absolutely no flavor and the korean hangar steak was served more rare than medium rare. I think their standard lunch menu is a bit better. Overall, I can see some people thinking this place is good but if you’re asian or like asian food, do not come here lol. The service was great though!!!

We went to The Peached Tortilla for a birthday and had a wonderful experience. The staff was warm and thoughtful, making my wife feel special. The food and drinks were excellent, with generous portions. We especially enjoyed the kimchi balls, brisket taco, banh mi taco, laksa bowl, and pork belly bowl. They even surprised us with a tasty ice cream dessert, which was a perfect way to end the meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Areggio Grill is a Mediterranean and Greek restaurant in central Austin. The atmosphere is interesting, it’s dark and somewhat mysterious feeling, and there is a floor seating area in the corner by the fireplace. Here you take off your shoes and sit on the floor instead of a table. They have a lot of standard dishes like euros, and the lemon chicken and rice soup, and a lot of Mediterranean style appetizers. The portions are decent, albeit not huge, and the food is filling.

I love this place! They have delicious food and a great atmosphere! I love the floor seating. They have a good selection of vegan options. They have vegan pizza! You can get Daiya cheese - personally not my favorite vegan cheese but it’s great they have the option! I got the lentil soup, hummus and tabbouleh! The lentil soup is really good.

This place has great food and a nice atmosphere. The Gyro Sandwich Combo is tasty and filling for the price, and the hummus is fresh and delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough

Great Mediterranean restaurant you order at the counter at lunch time you can make combinations from the different dishes at dinner from the menu. First time here, came during lunch for my break. They have a section were the food is ready to eat and is visible to the guests. Since it is ready to eat it can be fast to get your food. They also have an option where you can order of a menu specific things you want. The service was very friendly and helpful. The gentlemen that was taking our order was very helpful and guided us through how to order. Food was good, try the lamb! They also have Hot tea available if you want to opt out on a cold drink. The ambiance is great and it makes you feel like you’re in their country trying their food.

This an amazing place to eat and chat! I go in for the weekly lunch buffet special. Where I get a healthy/wholesome lunch for under $20. The staff is always welcoming. The lunch is surprisingly fresh with every visit. Their seating is always clean and they even have floor seating for adults to reserve. I plan to make this my typical lunch spot while I go back to school. It's less than 5 minute drive to ACC/ Highland campus/Aveda!

The mezza grill offered a wonderful variety—every bite was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. And the desserts? The baklava was the perfect finale: flaky, nutty, and just the right balance of sweet. It’s rare to find a place where every dish feels made with love and every detail—from the fresh, steaming pita to the attentive service—comes together so seamlessly. Almarah captures the spirit of Mediterranean dining and brings it to Austin beautifully. We can’t wait to return!

Really good food. Very clean. Comfortable and spacious. All dinner items were good. Salads , main dishes, desserts and the breath taking very refreshing their Lemon mint smoothie. The place is family and kids friendly. Prices are reasonable. I recommend the place without hesitation. Will be ther again soon. The servers are very polite, and efficient but will benefit from an additional polishing. Thank you

Hakim was so kind and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I would drive from San Antonio to come here again. I don’t know how we never found this place before. Wonderful Arabic food. I would love to try the whole menu.

Almarah is one of only two places in the Austin area that serves a variety of pizza sizes and flavors, and lets you mix and match as you order. Out of the two, this one is by far the better choice! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it a great spot whether you're stopping in for lunch or enjoying a relaxed dinner.

I’m super excited to share my experience for lunch here. They exceeded my expectations. I’ve been in the Middle East and I haven’t really found the proper baba ghanoush—-too sour from others. Here I could taste the eggplant—-fresh and more savory like I wanted it! The liver appetizer was bomb! Quality was good and cooked just right, tender and flavorful, perfect with the bread! I had the lamb chops, excellent portion and I thought I was going to save for work the next day but I finished the whole thing in two meals! The clay pot set the tone as finale for us! Mohammed was very professional, accommodating and knows the food he serves! We got free baklava for kicks and it was yummy. This place brought me back to one of the best Mediterranean/Middle East places I’ve been since 2009! They give military discount! Must try and to die for!

Absolutely loved the Arabic chicken shawarma and Chicken kebab plate; the first bite into shawarma felt surreal, it was heavenly. Highly recommend it! The Baklava’s are freshly made, it was authentic and delicious. Kasseem(representative) was very warm with service and it a very pleasant experience, the ambience and songs playing in the background gave us a complete end-to-end Arabic experience. This place is a gem🙏

Kareem and Kaseem made our experience at Alamarah so great!!! They offered me the mint lemonade and it was addicting! Took my Tunisian boyfriend here and he felt like he was back home!! Love the hot tea as well!! They have a amazing photo of Gaza on the wall with the kods!! ❤️❤️

Fantastic breakfast spot! The banana walnut French toast was rich and perfectly made, and the grilled chicken panini was amazing with great flavor. The fiesta omelette was delicious and full of taste, and even the penne pasta hit the spot. Topped it all off with a café latte, which was a really nice touch. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

All of the food here was pretty amazing. Got a salad and a savory and sweet crepe (shared with my brother) and the rose latte my brother LOVED. We got the Dubai pistachio crepe and it was a bit of heaven. The savory crepe probably had chicken and mushrooms but I really don’t recall as that was five months ago after a death in the family. I have a photo of the soup and salad but not the crepe!

No wonder this place has 4.8 rating, haha! Yelps people rating are a hit and miss so look out for non biased. It's definitely a taste of Morocco 🇲🇦 in your backyard in Austin (BeeCave). I would like to add worth the 5-hour drive! If you want something fresh and tasting and you don't want American food, aka burgers and fries as always try out the Tajin style eggs! Or even Crepes! I praise the quality of the food, nothing that can beat 💓 the crepes are "yummy & super fresh," and the coffee is "delicious." Some reviewers have mentioned that the interior could use updating, but overall, the dining experience is considered enjoyable, and interior design is definitely fine! If you're in the Lakeway area and looking for a place to enjoy crepes and coffee, Vivel Crêpes & Coffee is a popular choice among locals and visitors alike, had this input from locals at Wholefoods down the road. Give a try and judge!

Amazing! Highly recommend. The food here was so so good I hope to go again. Service and atmosphere were also great. The s’mores pancake was so worth it and I loved my avocado toast.

The Halal Menu and kind Management/ Manager are evident as soon as you walk through the door, you are treated to the high level of excellence , in customer service by the owner Bhye. The food here is always freshly prepared and the service is always served with a smile. I came here with my family the first time and I live far away in Cedar Park. Yet I don’t mind stopping by at Vivel anytime I am at Lakeway. I got the Shakshuka breakfast Tagine and the second time I came in and had a Gobbler Panini. It’s always fresh and evidently so.

Such a cute little café, and everything was so delcious! I especially loved the aubergine crepe, it was the best I've ever had. So fluffy and flavorful! You can't go wrong with any dish here as they are all fresh and intentionally crafted. Highly recommend!

Having been to Istanbul before, I was pleasantly surprised that the food at MezzeMe in Austin was even better than what I tried in Turkey. The staff were so friendly and kind, and every dish—from appetizers to desserts—was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the outdoor ambiance, though the inside was nice as well. The location is great, the atmosphere is inviting, and most importantly, the food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to go back!

I had high hopes, Turkish food is my absolute favorite after visiting Turkey 4 times, the country holds dear to my heart. It didn't quite hit it for me though, the donor kebab was very light on the meat for the price and it was slightly overcooked. The fries, perfect. The restaurant, beautiful. I may try it again and ask for double meat.

Mezze Me truly is one of the best hidden gems in Austin! We’ve ordered it on DoorDash plenty of times, but visiting in person was a whole new experience. The flavors were even fresher, the presentation was beautiful, and the atmosphere made everything taste that much better. We tried their sample platters, and it was the perfect way to get a little bit of everything—each dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The food also came out within minutes! Highly recommend dining in if you get the chance!

The doner is amazing and probably the best I have had here in Austin. The iskander and the ribeye kebabs are amazing and bonus points for the restaurant being 100% halal! The baklava and the honey cake were also fantastic!

I hired Mezze Me to cater a 90 person event that required individually boxed meals and was about 90 minutes away from their location. Their entire team was super communicative, punctual, fast and easy to work with, and the food was 10/10! Everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. The hummus and ribeye skewers were our favorite. Thank you Mezze Me for doing such a great job! Highly recommend them.

So wonderful! Everything is delicious. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had- so creamy. The tabouli and olive salad is so fresh. And the pastries are the cherry on top- so flaky and the perfect amount of sweet. Not to mention, you get to support a Palestinian owned business. ♥️

Wow, just wow… how have we overlooked this gem all these years?!?! Simply the best Mediterranean food we’ve had in town! The hummus is some of the best we’ve ever tasted and the portions are shockingly large - a double meat platter easily feeds 2. The option to get half sides is fantastic and their half portion is like other restaurants’ full portion. The other 3 sides I tried were potatoes, baba ghanoush and tzatziki - all delicious! Chicken was great but beef had some chewy bits. To top it all off, they gave us each a generous piece of baklava, as they were closing. Such was the wonderfully friendly customer service. We will be repeat customers for sure if nothing else, to get vats of that hummus!

Peace Bakery is genuinely the best food and hospitality in Austin. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful, the food is incredible and always fresh, and the value for the amount they give you can't be matched. I always get at least two meals out of it. Also, the pistachio baklava is *chefs kiss*, the best I've ever had, melt in your mouth, fantastic. I highly recommend.

Food is amazing! Literally a dream for anyone who loves veggies too. Great options for almost anyone. We tried all the sides, and everything is delicious. The potatoes are especially flavorful. The chicken shawarma is so good both by itself and in the wrap. The desert options are plentiful, and the baklava is perfect. I’ve had a lot of baklava where it’s either dry or overly syrupy, but this was perfection. The service is fast, courteous, and very inviting. The atmosphere is very open and casual. They have very high ceilings that make the restaurant feel so spacious. Definitely recommend

The lamb shank was tasty. The brisket was cooked to leather. The sides were a different aesthetic. They were either loaded with lemon juice, the tabouleh, or vinegar, the cabbage salad. The hummus salad featured chickpeas that were cooked super soft paired with raw carrots. Never had this. I'm not new to this cuisine, but this way. Asked for hot tea. Was told they were out. Was served Turkish coffee in broken coffee cups, was told they didn't have any more. Little efforts in the way of customer service. A lot of dirty tables. They didn't even pick up after themselves when they were done eating. One employee parked in the fire lane in front of the restaurant and left his car there. Broken soap dispenser, broken paper towel rack. The pot for wudoo was dirty. Dirty commode. Ceiling tiles missing. The place needs a deep clean and repairs.

My wife and I got a falafel wrap, the chicken shawarma wrap, the coriander potatoes, and 2 pastries. The wraps were both delicious and they gave a pretty decent portion size. The coriander potatoes were out of this world delicious, definitely would get that again. The birds nest pastry was absolutely delicious, but the pistachio baklava pastry was possibly the best pastry that I have ever had, and your boy here has had quite a few in his lifetime. Overall it was a wonderful experience with good service and amazing food. We will definitely be coming again.

This was the first place I stopped to eat during my trip to Texas from Jersey. It was okay. My expectations were high. I got the beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, dolma, tabouleh, potatoes, and spicy hummus. It was underwhelming. I was starving because my flight was delayed and the food still was bleh even though I was that hungry. Service was okay. Felt overpriced.

We have previously ordered from here and weren't too impressed probably because Uber eats messed up the order. However, dining in was a completely different experience. The food was fresh, served piping hot, and the staff was very helpful. We tried their chicken Tikka pizza, pizza rolls, club sandwich, and the chicken crispy burger. The pizza was great, the rolls were a bit too rich for my taste, and I wouldn't count them as appetizers. They are a complete meal. The club sandwich was tasty and fresh, but the chicken burger was a bit underwhelming as the chicken was a bit though to chew. The fries were seasoned really well. All in all, a great experience. All the food is halal.

Ordered the Keema King from Promise Pizza. The pies had a thinner crust with a decent chew, and toppings were applied evenly without being overly heavy. The menu includes options like halal, gluten-free, and whole wheat, which makes it easy to accommodate different preferences in a group. Pickup was on time and the order was accurate; price felt in line with similar spots in the Austin–Round Rock area. Overall, a solid choice if looking for customizable pizzas with dietary options

Best pizza I've had in the Austin area since moving here in 2017. Not only was it delicious, but it seemed so well-balanced and healthy too! I ordered gluten free, and was assured that they use a separate pan for baking and even have a separate marinara and spoon for the sauce! I'm so happy that I tried this place!!

My grandma and I decided to try out this pizza place because it felt different from a traditional pizza joint, and we were so glad we did. ​The pizza crust was perfectly thin and had a wonderful, crispy texture that we absolutely loved. The ability to build our own custom pizza was a great idea, and the beef pepperoni we chose was absolutely delicious. ​What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the incredible kindness of the owners. They were some of the most genuinely kind people we've ever met in the industry. As we were leaving, we were sure to give them some personal compliments to thank them. We left feeling both satisfied with our meal and grateful for the warm and friendly atmosphere they have created. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

The experience of going there for the first time was very pleasant we definitely enjoyed the pizza and the atmosphere. The store employees were polite. We love that they had an old school arcade game, clean bathroom and Plenty of sweet selections. Definitely try their falloda . The BBQ chicken we ordered had barely any tiny crumbs of chicken but we let it slide because we went there 15 minutes before closing time so maybe they were running out of chicken.

The pizza here is great. I don’t know of any other places putting an Indian spin on pizza. The Kim’s King is positively addictive as is the Butter Chicken Pizza. My family also says their fries are the best - seasoned with a delicious blend of Indian seasonings. They also have the normal selection of pizza toppings, but go for the specialty pizzas!

Ordered through Favor delivery. No redeeming qualities. First of all they were pathetically stingy with the rice, I got like two spoonfuls of rice and that’s not me being dramatic (see pic, no rice under the meat btw), and on top of that the rice was old and stale. The chicken was just white meat chicken with salt and pepper, overcooked, dry, bland, really badly cut too (weird shapes and giant pieces and thin pieces- it was all over the place), it’s clear the people who work in the kitchen give zero craps about the food and shouldn’t be working in a restaurant. The gyro meat was just standard premade processed gyro. And the pita bread was prepackaged pita bread and not pita-like at all. Thick and cold. I also got a spanakopita with my combo plate, and it was soggy like all they did was microwave it, but also cold. Can’t believe I wasted $20 on this. Eat at Austin Habibi instead!

Just ordered Tino’s from Uber eats. Super fast delivery yet ice cold and potentially undercooked food. Salad was predominantly brown. So disappointed in the quality the last few times attempted. I guess I understand why their locations are dwindling. Sad as there’s not any quality Greek food nearby.

This is one of the most authentic Mediterranean places I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. The gyros were fantastic, the pita was served hot, and the fries had a nice, subtle spice to them. The atmosphere was clean and industrious, with a cafeteria-style serving area that gave the place a workman-like vibe, while the tables and diner-style feel added to the charm. I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back for more Mediterranean goodness.

They have good wraps here— gyro is moist, pita is soft, and the vegetables are fresh. The wrap is a bit small, but you can add fries for $2. The fries are perfect and go really well with the wrap. A small side of tzatziki is $2.50 which seems too expensive for a side of sauce. Overall, pretty good but a bit pricey for the portions.

Worst gyro I've ever had. It's definitely not rotisserie cooked meat. If this were my first time trying a gyro, I'd never eat another one.

I was so excited to eat here because I’ve really been craving good Greek food and this place really disappointed me. The portions are very small for what they’re charging. The baklava was the smallest piece I’ve ever seen and definitely not worth $3.25. The lentil soup was absolutely horrible. There were no lentils and it smelled/tasted horrible. I think they gave me like a leftover batch from a week ago, it tasted old/expired. The rice pilaf is not rice pilaf.. it’s just unseasoned white rice with peas and carrots. The chicken was cold (I live 6 min away from this place) and tasted okay. As I was about to eat the Gyro meat, I found a little piece of like gold foil (in the pictures). I asked for no olives in my salad and they still put them in, not a huge deal, but it’s annoying when places don’t listen. Will not be eating here again and don’t really recommend anyone eating here. I just really hope I don’t get sick from eating this stuff.

Ordered through Uber Eats and the food was horrible. Chicken was bland, overcooked and dry. It didn't even taste like it had salt or pepper. Lamb was ok but also weirdly shaped cuts. Serving sizes were tiny for what they charged. Falafel was disc shaped, thin, and tasted like it was from a microwave. Zero flavor! Mashed potato no flavor and tasted like it was from a cheap box. Hummus way worse than store bought! Salad was the largest portion in the whole meal. It came with 1 large slice of tomato and two huge slices of cucumber, olives, & lettuce. Also came with a huge glob of dressing that was unappealing. Ultimately it was overpriced and there are better options.

Not being a fan of Lamb this is tough place for me to review, but let's try Pulled lamb was pretty good not overly lamb flavor Lamb Ribs... my wife and son loved them, me... not so much. Lamb chops were shockingly light in lambness and id get these again Brisket was honestly just mid to me. The slices we had were lean but were quite dry sadly and not very beefy flavor. Sides to me were all a no go. Rice with sweet nuts not for me, but my wife absolutely loved it Pink tater salad, I had a hard time mentally with this one but flavor was was meh Tomato cucumber feta salad was nice and refreshing Mac was lacking flavor but im not a mac fan to start Chimichurri sauce is excellent and helped me thru the pulled lamb Pitas were super disappointing. Overly dry Very busy place, people obviously love it. If yer a lamb lover hit it up. Want Texas Trinity staples not yer place.

This was such an amazing experience and I’m so glad we stopped here while in Austin for our BBQ tour (self guided). The colors, textures and flavors coming from these dishes is exceptional and honestly a great end to our time here. We live in Kentucky and I’m trying to dissect the dishes so I can serve my friends back home food with this caliber of excellence. The rice bowl with brisket was next level good. Both rich and fresh. Lamb chops and lamb shoulder - 🤤! The bread pudding was hands down the best dessert of the week. Really special things happening here! Let me know when you get a cookbook! 🎉🤟🏾🐑

The Egyptian barbecue fusion had some wonderful flavors. Namely the chicken bowl. The flavors were superb. The bowl was enough food for 2 people but we ordered some of almost everything. They only have 2 drink options so perhaps bring a bottled water with you. Coffee & flavored tea The food truck didn’t open at 11 it was more like 13 minutes after so that felt a bit disappointing. We were outside waiting for them to get prepped for opening. No big deal but when your paying $100 you prefer professional service. I feel like they have been open long enough that they could step it up with seating arrangements. Perhaps consider more drink options. A coke sure would have hit the spot. Outside relies on good weather which isn’t easy to come by in Texas. ☀️

Egyptian BBQ is an interesting take on BBQ. The pomegranate pork ribs were very flavorful. The sausage was also a bit different but tasty. Definitely save room for the cardamom rice pudding. So good I went back for seconds. Their service was unbelievably quick. I paid and they handed me a pager. I stepped off the platform and the pager went off. Way fast.

This is a fantastic fusion of egyptian and texas barbecue. The brisket was fantastic.But the surprise for me were the lamb chops. All of their sides are great.And I can highly recommend the rice pudding with cardamom and pistachio for dessert. Great staff.I'm so happy for their success.

We are amazed how great this BBQ is. Met with Kareem, this man knows flavors and contrast. Nice actually having the pitmaster around when you get BBQ. All sides were great, the lamb chop was amazing, pitas, fantastic and the hot link marguez sausage was a little salty, but that is due to the sausage being cold when we got it. If warm, it would be amazing. This BBQ joint is top 3 in Austin. Our spot to go back when we return to Austin.

Whoever said if you want Mediterranean food go to CAVA is CRAZY. This place is not your typical BBQ spot. It is an Egyptian and Texas blend and the food is absolutely 🔥 meat is marinated with such flavor and the sides are just the same. Don't skip the Mac n cheese and potato salad

We ordered chicken biryani to go from Zaviya Grill, expecting a flavorful and well-cooked meal. However, we were disappointed to find that the rice was hard and undercooked, making it difficult to enjoy. The texture was not what you’d expect from a good biryani, and it seemed like the rice wasn’t properly prepared. For the price and reputation, we expected better quality. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet our expectations, and we wouldn't recommend it based on this visit.

Vibe & Atmosphere: The vibe was honestly off. I don’t mind hole-in-the-wall spots (they’re often hidden gems), but this one felt a little neglected. The Google photos and videos made it seem a lot nicer than it really is. When we walked in, the floors looked like they’d been broken for a while, the booth couches were all ripped up, and not all the lights were even working. It felt a bit run down, which kind of set the tone before the food even came out. Food: We tried a few things — • Garlic naan was the standout: fresh, soft, flavorful. • Lamb chops were just okay. They were a bit dry for my taste; I usually like them to be fall-off-the-bone tender, and these weren’t quite there. • Chicken seekh kabab was actually really good — juicy, flavorful, with a nice spice to it. • White chicken karahi had a solid gravy, flavorful and comforting. Some hits with the food, but the vibe and condition of the place took away from it. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 overall.

They had a great selection of food which was flavourful and the quantity was also more than enough. The mixed grill could easily be shared among 2 people. Their bullet naan was good but was hoping for it to be much hotter. But their grill and palak paneer made up for what the naan was lackto food

The vegetable samosas were great, had a little spice. The garlic naan was huge. My husband and I shared 1 naan order it was so big and yummy. The chicken Quora and goat Quora had bones so you need to eat with your hands. The mango lassi was delicious. The entry into the complex off Parmer Lane is extremely steep so if you have a low car it is going to scrape for sure.

I’m currently at Zaviya Grill Restaurant, and I must say, this place is absolutely phenomenal! The ambiance is inviting and relaxing, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about your experience. The food here is nothing short of exceptional. Each dish is carefully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything I’ve tried has been a delightful journey of taste. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal and outstanding service, Zaviya Grill is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We went for Iftar buffet and it was an absolute chaos, that too on a weekday. They seated us in the middle and we couldn’t move to get food as we got stuck with no place to move around. The whole place is cramped up and in shambles. They are probably cutting corners everywhere from space to food. The restaurant is dirty, unhygienic and not maintained at all. The seat covers are torn with limited to no space between tables. The flooring is the worst. It’s the most slippery floor you’ll ever walk on. And, the food is below average. Too much oil, no taste, and disorganized. Overall, not worth it. Save your money and spend it elsewhere!

This used to be my fav place for Pakistani/ South Asian/ Mughlai food! But it has apparently become a hit and miss as well. Tried Chicken Korma, felt like frozen-reheated food, Dal Gosht was diluted and bland! Not sure if it’s the weekday or early dinner time, but very disappointing to say the least. Hope management pays attention and restore higher standards on food quality and freshness

The food was sooo yummy! We tried the vegetable momos — super tasty and packed with flavor! I ordered chicken momo from them when I was really starving and the momo I received got red stains on both sets. With the food quality concern, I called them and told them about the stains but they were so rude and said you didn’t order from us and get the refund from uber eats . They were showing attitude to me saying it is the first time that happened repeatedly and I told them that I wanted to talk to the owner but surprisingly the owner himself was talking in such a bad manner who claimed he packed the momo by himself and he was like “sometimes it happens” like really? This is what you say to a customer when they call you to out of their health concerns? They not just wasted food but my time because I had to re order the food again and it will never be from them from today .

Amazing experience at this Nepali and Indian restaurant. The server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. They explained the menu, gave great recommendations, and provided top-notch service throughout. The food was full of flavor, especially the chowmein, shrimp vindaloo and chicken tikki masala. I have been two different locations in Austin both was similar one of them in north I went during Ramadan and they were more meat options. South was more easier to take food because sections wasn’t separate. Just I didn’t like to dessert they looks slipshod and their pizzas they were still dough. While everything was delicious and the quality was top-notch, the pricing is a bit on the higher side. Still, for the experience and variety, it’s a must try!

I always leaved stuffed but not sick, perfectly satisfied because it's all such great food. The lamb was tender, the orange blossom cake is fantastic and the cardamom rice pudding and rose water drink is a must try.

I had an amazing time at Dimassi’s, a Mediterranean buffet that exceeded my expectations. With 65 options, including 33 vegan or vegetarian dishes, it’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking for healthy, delicious food. Everything is Halal, and the variety means there's something for everyone. Some of my favorite dishes were the hummus, gyro meat, lamb and rice, shredded beef, and the banana pudding. All of these were super yummy and perfectly prepared. The value you get here is incredible. For what you'd spend at a fast food place, you get a buffet of fresh, in-house made dishes. Plus, the drinks are included in the price, which just adds to the overall value. Even the teas are made in-house, and they're fantastic! Dimassi’s also offers catering and to-go orders, so if you’re planning an event or just want to enjoy their food at home, they’ve got you covered. If you're looking for a healthier, affordable alternative to typical dining options, I highly recommend Dimassi’s. I’ll definitely be coming back!

When you walk in they have a sign that says pick where you want to sit then get food and pay at the end of your meal. Which is pretty smart for them because they save money on not having waiters. Drinks are self serve too. As for the actual buffet there are lots of options to choose from. Lots of veggies/salads as well as hummus. The tika masala with bread was very good along with the yellow rice they had and the rice with lentils. Supreme pizza was also good too, it has a different flavor compared to pizza chains like Little Caesars or Pizza Hut. Pita chips were nice and crispy. As for desserts I personally liked the baklava the most. It wasn't too sweet it was just the right amount of sweetness. It tasted even better when dipped into their hot tea. Can't remember what the tea was called but it had fall vibes and sort of smelled like Michael's craft store if you know what I mean lol.

This place is the bomb! They have over 60+ options for dining in. A bunch of healthy choices available. One of my favorite all you can eat experiences in Austin, Texas. They serve everything fresh and warm, you can see as they bring the food out. The salad bar is crazy good. Desserts are also available! In love with this spot, y’all should definitely check it out, their lunch special is only $16.99 during weekdays!

Food is very good. There is food for vegetarians, vegans, and people who eat meat. I ate more vegan dishes than meat stuff and I got really full. Drinks are included in the price so that's good. The wife really liked it because there was food she could eat. We went at lunch time which cost $16.99 plus tax. Not bad for an all you can eat Mediterranean place. I did not get to try the desserts because I was so full. Next time for sure I will calm down because now I know what I like. They also have rose water. It is sweetened but nice to have. I have no regrets eating here and I will come back in the future hopefully not to fully stuff myself.

The Beef Shawarma Wrap was delicious and very filling. Some of the beef was chewy but overall it was tasty. I enjoyed the spicy sauce on the meat and the hummus, cucumber and onions perfectly complemented the wrap. I look forward to trying other things on the menu in the future.

Bought Chicken Biriyani and it tastes good. The spice (salt and chili powder) is just perfect. I like it better than NYC chili biriyani. It’s the only Bengali restaurant and grocery in Austin as I was told. They had ample amount of rice and chicken pieces and the price $12 was just right for the size.

Very good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices that have you keep coming back, I can eat their food everyday and not get tired of it. I can say this because I have done this for months. I love that they have their own grocery store within the cafe, so I can buy extra ingredients to enhance my experience. They have great vegetable and pepper spreads but also decently priced flat breads to add to your meal to enhance the pallet even further. If I had all the money to last me for life, this would be the only place I would eat at.

I absolutely love the Tehari at this restaurant! It's the best I've ever tasted. Whenever I'm in Austin, I make it a point to come here. The chicken shwarma platter didn't impress me as much, but the Tehari is a must-try. They have a shop attached where you can buy South Asian Masala, sweets, foods, and halal meat, although it's a bit pricey. Overall, highly recommend for the amazing Tehari! However, I must mention that the entry point was quite challenging. The steep downhill at the entrance made it difficult to navigate, resulting in unintentional bumps to our car on multiple occasions.

Shahi is the ONLY place in Austin to have Bangladeshi style Beef Tehari (call first and check, it's usually over the weekends). Their catering prices are also reasonable and highly customizable. Chicken Roast, Korma Chicken and Shami Kababs are all really good.

Do not let this humble place slip past you. They have the best Biryani I have ever had. If the rest of their food is half as good it will still knock your socks off. Do yourself a favor and get lunch here one day and you’ll never look back!

Tried Halal Bros recently and really enjoyed the food everything was fresh and flavorful! The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for a casual meal. Service was decent and the atmosphere is simple and laid-back. One small suggestion would be to keep the place a little cleaner for an even better experience. Overall, a solid spot for tasty halal food in Austin!

5 stars for their chicken kabob over rice, easily their best item. Chicken is very high quality and flavor is immense. Easily my favorite dish from a restaurant in recent memory. Their other forms of chicken/lamb don't come close to the kebab.

Halal Bros is my all-time favorite for shawarma with rice! We always order delivery, and everything arrives fresh, flavorful, and in generous portions. Their Chicken Shawarma and the Beef Shawarma over Rice are hard to beat. The Hummus was creamy, garlicky, and paired perfectly with the pita. If you’re craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors and hearty servings, Halal Bros is the place to go!

The food is great but I’m unhappy with the new packaging. It causes them to squish the food and all of my hummus just stuck to the lid. They also gave us a partially incorrect order that we couldn’t verify at the restaurant due to the new packaging.

I am really surprised with the number of positive ratings it has. I easily got deceived by them. I ate chicken shawarma rice bowl, worst rice bowl I ever ate in my life. It had 0 flavors , 0 taste , only 80%cooked chicken with a very bad aftertaste. My stomach was upset after eating that.

This place ROCKS!!! I love the lamb and chicken combo over rice!!! People think that it is expensive, but this combo is more than enough for three meals 😲!!!..... Be sure and get a couple of extra white sauces to mix with the red sauce, because that red sauce packs a punch🥵! Seriously, I have dreams in the middle of the night craving this food 😋

This was my first dine-in at Halal Bros. It was my anniversary and we decided to hop in after going through positive reviews. The restaurant is small and simple, but the service and food were top notch. I ordered Chicken shawarma over rice, and I myself couldn't complete it at one go. I took the lunch back to my house and relished it. My husband ordered a Falafel wrap, Baklava,hummus, Dolma and he was literally obsessed with the quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Their staff are also pretty nice in behavior. Will order again. ❤️ Keep shining 🌟.

We came searching for Detroit-style pizza and this place is the real deal! Sat at the bar on a Saturday and had a great time talking with Joe. Wife and I split a 4 piece and really appreciated that you can split the toppings. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was very good while the pizza cooked. The venue was getting crowded around 7:00 PM and seeing all the locals come in is always a good sign. The pizza was best I’ve had (and I don’t say that lightly). Specialty topping combinations are unique and go very well together. The place is perfectly clean, spacious and cool in the TX heat. I would go back every time in Austin. The picture says it all.

Via 313 is my go-to spot whenever we are in town, honestly, I prefer their Detroit-style pizza over many I’ve had in Detroit itself. It never disappoints! The staff has always been super friendly since our first visit back in 2019. A memorable moment: during that first visit, we asked if they had a gluten-free dessert. They didn’t at the time, but the chef heard about it and surprised us by offering us a cinnamon-sugar dessert on the spot free of charge, something they were testing for the menu. It was amazing! When we saw it officially added to the menu later on, we smiled, feeling like we were part of its story. If you’re looking for a great Detroit style gluten-free pizza and genuinely kind people, this is the place.

I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️

We ordered online and picked up. It was easy and the pizza was delicious! We got a gluten free pepperoni and sausage with gluten free cinnamon sticks. The dough was so bouncy and soft, hard to believe it’s gf! I especially loved how the cheese baked to a perfect crisp on the outside of the pizza. Chefs kiss! The cinnamon sticks were very good as well and come with icing drizzled on top. I’ll certainly be back here!

Everything was so good from service to food. I had my waiter pick out my pizza order for me as I was feeling adventurous. My small Detroit pizza was half & half. Half Cadillac & Half Bobo. The Cadillac was something I would have never ordered on my own but it tasted so amazing just the mix of the cheese with the sweetness of the fig and tanginess of the balsamic vinaigrette was perfect. The Cadillac will be my new favorite pizza to eat from now after trying it. The service was also an amazing experience as everyone was so nice when it came to refills and asking me how everything tasted. Will 100% be coming back

The pizza was very good and the online ordering system is thorough and makes addressing unique preferences very clear. Food costs are through the roof and this establishment is staying on the curve in order to be a going concern long term. In short a large two topping pizza came out just sub $40 at the time of writing. No sodas, no sides, pickup. This is not a complaint, just the facts. Will I order again, absolutely. Will it be in regular rotation, probably reserved for when I really crave it.

We took the Drizzled plates with Creamy Orange sauce (a must try for spicy and tangy lovers‼️) and the other plate with Crazy jalapeno and white sauce. Both were mind boggling good! We had it for iftar. The halal food is much appreciated!

Very quick service I have been here multiple times food is HALAL. Food is always very tasty. Very affordable while being great quality food. Always plenty of parking and the inside dining area usually always has space. Many people also order takeout if that is more your style. They do have a kids meal aswell. I recommend to anybody who is looking for a quick bite to eat.

Wow, we were titillated above and beyond by the flavors here at Kismet--decadent, vibrant, effervescent. The sauces, falafel and baba ganoush were exceptional. The staff was also terrific, generous with their time and recommendations, and helping us get all our vegan needs met. We'll be back!

I genuinely don’t know how this place doesn’t have a higher rating. I’ve eaten so much Mediterranean / Greek food around town and this is definitely in my top 2! All of the sauces are delicious (especially the orange explosion and garlic sauce). The fries are well seasoned and everything is amazing all around! Wish I lived closer.

Great customer service. A blond woman helped us out. She answered all of our questions, she was great, super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They have chips, yogurt drinks, candy bars, ice cream, high chairs for babies, damn they have everything you need to have a comfortable and warm meal. The place is super cozy with booth and table options. The music is nice and relaxing. The food is perfect! So delicious, prepared fresh! Also cool, they have a self ordering kiosk, a really nice touch.

The place is nice, and the food was good, offering a Mediterranean taste. However, for a spot that asks for tips, we didn’t receive any notable service. Improving the atmosphere could make it even better, but overall, it’s a decent choice for Mediterranean cuisine.

Small place with vast variety of menu. Lamb shish kabab was good. Was a little on tougher side maybe a little over cooked. Otherwise good place, will try a few other dishes next time. For the location of the restaurant the price seemed to be pretty high. Maybe inflation!

Gyro pita wrap was great with lots of beef meat. I would expect them to serve hot tea: Turkish or with pine nuts like in Tunisia.

We were in the area and needed a good place to eat after my son's game. This place is the cutest little hidden gem. The food was delicious and Fatima is such a sweetheart. Fatima noticed my youngest son (10) was indecisive and nervous about trying something new. She talked to him and helped him by staring him with a small side of rice and chicken. After trying it, he got a pita wrap and attacked my side of pita and hummus. Meal portions are a good size too. Definitely will come back if we ever come back into the town.

I’ve visited Aladdin Halal Grill before, and the taste has definitely gotten even better than before. The food is always fresh, even when I order to go — it still tastes like it just came out of the kitchen. The service is super vibey and welcoming, and the staff are always attentive and polite. They make you feel comfortable whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Definitely a spot worth coming back to again and again!

Now this is a place I will be eating at again and again!! I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant with my aunt. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was soooo delicious; we enjoyed it so much that my aunt and I devoured our meals (I forgot to take a pic of our empty plates), which we don’t usually do anywhere else. The highlight of our visit was the amazing service we received from Aisha. She took our order, brought out our food, and checked in on us with such kindness and generosity. She made us feel so comfortable and we vibed so well with her that despite how good the food was, we want to come again just to see her! Between the flavorful food, inviting atmosphere, and Aisha’s amazing energy and service, Aladdin Halal Grill is a place we’ll definitely be returning to again and again. Highly recommend :)

Homey family owned barbecue joint located in a strip mall off the main road. Overall, the barbecue here wasn’t as smoky compared to similar Texas barbecue places. However, the cook on each meat rendered them tender, juicy, and fall off the bone. I ordered the brisket, lamb chops, lamb sausage, beef ribs, half chicken, creamed corn, green beans, carrot cake, and banana cheesecake. Beef ribs, half chicken, brisket- Nothing to write home about. All perfectly cooked but lacking smokiness and overall flavor, could have used more salt and pepper general. I tried the sauce provided but it was overly sweet for my taste. The lamb chops and sausage were the stars of the show. The lamb chops were rich and succulent. The sausage was snappy and savory, not the typical peppery bite. Not too gamey also more tender than its beef counterpart. If you love lamb, order these items. The creamed corn and green beans side dishes also surprised me. Both perfectly executed for what they were. The green beans were not a mushy mess, stewed with onions and black pepper for extra umami. Lastly, the carrot cake gets an honorable mention. Not what you usually expect from a barbecue place but it rounded out the meal. Moist yet fluffy with the right carrot to cake to pecan to cream cheese frosting ratio for every bite. Cake itself was not that sweet and the cream cheese frosting provided a balance of sweet and tang to the cake. Banana cheesecake was average, a light cheesecake not overly sweet as well. Is this the best barbecue I’ve ever had? No. The typical barbecue items get a three star solely because of the cook, not taste. But the lamb and the sides and the dessert, the most unassuming dishes changed my mind. I would come back for just those items alone.

One of the few halal Texan BBQ spots in the area. We did takeout, so not sure about the service. Did the medium family order: 4 pounds of meat, 3 large sides. We tried brisket, beef ribs, and beef sausage. Sides were potato salad, creamed corn, and mac and cheese. Came with complimentary bread, pickles, and onions. The price was a hefty $140, but between 6 people, it came to about $23 per person, so I think that's pretty fair for Texan BBQ. Of the 3 meats, beef sausage was my fav, it had jalapenos in it and had quite the kick! The beef ribs, while not winning any awards, were good as well. My only criticism is that it amounted to 3 beef ribs, so we had to split each rib between 2 people. The brisket was supposed to be a mix of moist and lean with some burnt ends, but it leaned mostly lean. I would’ve liked more of the juicy cuts, and I didn’t see any real burnt ends. It was decent, but I’ve had better. For my fam who only eats halal meat and hasn’t had other Texan BBQ, they loved each and every piece of meat, so overall it was a great success. Everything was seasoned really well, and nothing was dried out. The sides were all really impressive. Everyone loved the creamed corn and potato salad. The mac and cheese here was better than at some other, more well known BBQ joints in the Austin area. I wish I’d read some of these reviews prior to ordering, I would have tried some of the lamb items that seem to have some fans. That’ll be for next time. Even if you’re not looking specifically for halal options, I think it holds its own among other BBQ joints in the greater Austin area in this tier.

Great halal true Texas style BBQ. Tried Smoked Chicken and Beef Brisket. Both were awesome. Banana cheesecake and carrot cake were also excellent. Anthony, Omar and all other staff are very welcoming. I requested them to start a Frequent Customer program for folks like me who will be there at least couple of times every week 😀

Huge BBQ snob here and I can honestly say this is some of the best brisket and beef rib I have ever had. Brisket was super tender and seasoned perfectly. I used just a little BBQ sauce to not drown out the smokey flavor of the brisket. The beef rib was just as tender and perfectly seasoned. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Guy at the register recommended the brisket mac bowl 10/10 loved it. Baked beans are also a solid 9/10 really liked how sweet it was. Jalapeño sausage was a 6/10 for me I would buy it again but nothing special. Loses a point for not having cheddar jalapeño sausage.

Urban Turban in Round Rock was fantastic! The Turban cheesesteak was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly—definitely worth the stop. I enjoyed eating outside at the shaded picnic tables, which made for a nice, casual setup. Parking was super easy with plenty of space, so no hassle getting in or out. A great spot for a quick, delicious meal with convenient outdoor seating!

We loved the chicken tikka quesadillas and the cousin’s birria tacos—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor and totally hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Went here with my wife and got the birria quesadillas, chicken tikka quesadillas, a mango lassi, and an iced chai frappe. It was all good, but the birria quesadillas were phenomenal. Just wow! The meat and soup have a delicious blend of south Asian spices that just works with tender beef and the rest of the quesadilla. Additionally, This food truck has great service and covered all outdoor seating. It also seems like they are about to open an area for kids to play at next to this food truck called “Flamingo Kids”, so we will be excited to try that out next time!

This place was oh my god mind blowing. I came into town with low expectations on good halal food, but I was proven wrong. This place has the best birria tacos I’ve ever indulged in. I would highly recommend the tandoori tacos, the birria tacos, and the birria cousin tacos. The people were so nice and lively, and I got blown away by this literally and figuratively (it was super windy). Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Food absolutely lives up to the hype — and name. Owner is wonderful and very friendly. The birria’s cousin tacos are delicious. Honestly, every menu item I’ve tried so far has been extremely fresh and tasteful. Will be back here frequently. Only feedback would be the relative lack of seating out in front.

Food is amazing. I’ve been 4 times, after just learning about it a month ago from social media. The first time I went it was about a little wait. As another customer was leaving, he said it’s worth the wait. He was not wrong. I had Tandoori Tacos and they were delicious. Highly recommend The Urban Turban.

The absolute best in Austin. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. I rarely post reviews but this place deserves the praise and appreciation. The owners were really nice and welcoming. It is a bit far from Austin but its 100% worth the drive.

Tried their veg chilli momos and they are absolutely delicious also they have a beautiful set up with a proper dabha style. Their hospitality is amazing, reasonable prices with good quantity. This is what we have been missing in Austin!!! Authentic Dhaba food!!! The ambiance is super good and it feels like we are back in India/Pakistan’s original Dhaba. ***Catering**** First of all, I am a person who do not spend time to provide feedback for any service either it is good or bad. I always felt mouth publicity is the best feedback as we all know restaurants sometimes serves good food and sometimes don't. So, I feel feedback isn't really important. However, today I really wanted to appreciate and provide my honest feedback to this start up food truck. I have randomly stopped at this place and loved their BBQ, and immediately asked the owner if he can provide live BBQ service for my daughters birthday, however he offered me that he can do all the other items along with the live BBQ, I have hesitated to order the entire catering service to the food truck which I randomly stopped, but upon talking to the owner I felt confidence and honestly wanted to give them a chance and these guys did a wonderful job right from setting the food tables, Dishes with Chafers and last but not least the wonderful food. All of my guests were really enjoyed the food. I am glad that I have trusted them. I encourage everyone to stop by and taste their food. I hope they provide good service to you all as they did for me.

Excellent all the way around! Food, atmosphere, service…. All excellent. What’s so cool is it’s a true dhaba! The owner was very generous and attentive. We ordered chicken chapalli kabab, beef chapalli kabab, gosh karahi, chicken malai karahi! Everything taste authentic and delicious! . We were very pleased and happy with the environment there! Will visit again!

The setup and environment is different which makes you feel comfortable. We ordered chicken and mutton kebab. Mutton was undercooked. We mentioned, they re-did it again. Overall the items were a little salty. Rumali roti was more like normal roti rather than thin roti. If i had to go again i would only choose chicken items.

Great little place. The food was absolutely delicious. We only got BBQ items and it was perfect. It is a dhaba but you still get great service and it’s actually very organized. Went on a Sunday night around 9pm and all of the tables were full and everyone was enjoying themselves. Service was pretty good, especially for a dhaba and even better than some restaurants. Only issue is the parking lot area is kinda small and almost always full.

Just their food for the first time and I am thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Tawa Qeema and Murgh Malai Karahi, along with rice and paratha. Everything was fresh, warm, good sized portions and perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend it!

The owner is absolutely phenomenal! This is THE best Pizza restaurant you will ever try. You can tell from the way he treats his customers, his care for training staff and the eagerness to let customers try samples. But to be able to get Loaded Fries, Wings, Pizza AND Shawarma! This is food heaven! Perfect crisp and crunch on the crust. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is the hit! The atmosphere and smell inside reminds me of home (NJ) where pizza is supreme. The dishes are LOADED! My nachos were bigger than my pizza! Everything is mouthwatering AND halal so definitely worth the slightly higher cost.

It was my first time going. They gave me a complimentary rice and chicken. They have an unique style on pizza. Taste and look delicious.

Great little place. Came in thinking they had calzones. They don't right now but Nikesh was eager to try and asked me how to make it. We put our heads together and made a pretty decent calzone! Great experience. They clearly try to really delight. On a side note the orange sauce was fantastic too.

My 1st time getting food from here. The owner was so polite. He took the time to explain some of the sauces, that they make from scratch. He also let me try a couple so I could decide which one I wanted. And while I waited for my order he let me try a sample of a flavor of chicken that I had never tried. I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

Do Not Sleep on this place. The pizza is so good. Perfect crust. Best cheese. So many topping to choose from. Shwarma on the bed of rice is filling and delicious. Have been many times. They also have a wall to put paid meals for hungry people with no money. Such a generous place to support.

The food here is good. Tried the "Yalla Burger" and it was excellent. I also tried the "Philadelphia" steak sandwich, that was okay. The sandwiches are very well priced as well, and the servers are very friendly. You may beed to account for 10 to 15 minutes sometimes to get the food, but that is not always the case.

I was starving and their special burger was more than enough to fill my belly. ingredients included a fried egg (over medium), with fries, sliced jalapeño, pickles, tomato and their secret sauce. the jalapeño poppers were 10/10

Got the Loaded fries with burger patty and it wasn't even worth a cent. No effort and no flavoring added into preparing it. What I got was deep fried frozen fries without any seasoning covered in disgusting plain melted cheese slices topped with a burnt and tasteless beef patty, not even mixed into the fries. The only edible parts were the jalapenos on top. This is the first time I have ever asked for a refund on my food and the cook refused to listen to my complaints about the food or give a refund asking me to contact the manager of the stall. Never coming back!

We stopped by at Yall Hamburgers after we met them on the I-35 freeway at one night at 12:06 a.m. due to one of their trucks needing roadside assistance. After being on the right shoulder of the freeway with them (Yalla Hamburger Crew Members) for a couple of minutes, we knew that they were really good people as they showed that they were concerned for our safety due to the fast oncoming traffic. After a few minutes we jumpstarted their truck and got it off the freeway. The truck had died while running due to a bad alternator that couldn't provide charge to the batteries. After getting the truck out of the freeway we followed them to a safe area and we recommended to them to leave the truck there and to return first thing in the morning once the auto parts stores open and we could replace the alternator. So we met them in the morning and we installed a new alternator since the auto parts stores had one available. After the truck was fixed they had a super happy smile on their face and said that they're so happy because the previous night they were super concerned about their customers who didn't get service that night due to the truck not being able to drive but that today they would! It was at that moment that out of their hearts they invited us to go try their food at their location so we did a couple of days later and we Absolutely Loved their food and their hospitality! Unfortunately, a few minutes after we started eating at the tables we had to go to our vehicle because it started to rain hard and there's only outside seating available at Trinity St with downtown views. We absolutely recommend everyone to try their Yalla Burger and Chicken Wings! We really enjoyed our visit and we know that you will too!

I placed an online pickup order thru allset but when I went to pick it up I was told they don't do online orders. They had also confirmed the order on allset which they should not have done if they knew they won't take orders. The charge on my card wasn't cancelled by them and allset support never responded to me even after a week of emailing them and calling them later. I ended up having to file a chargeback. I used to order from here frequently but will not be anymore.

Yum! Ordered Yalla special burger - absolutely packed between the buns, including a few fries, very filling. Such a unique combo - really enjoyed it. About $13 with a sweet tea add-on. Super friendly. Easy to sit and relax at benches or take to go. Prepared fresh, so expect to wait a little bit.

This is the kind of food that makes my soul smile from ear to ear! They had a VARIETY of vegan and vegetarian options! Highly recommend to any veg head rolling through town. The gentleman behind the craft was over the top nice. He made sure I got exactly what I came for! I even walked by early, checking things out, and mentioned I may be coming back. He remembered! Went for late Sat lunch ..great food & quick service! The Zinger burger is BIG! Loved the spice level of the fried chicken legs & thighs. Order the fried chicken ahead if you can since it takes some time..

We stopped by after finishing a job next door to the restaurant. I had the Diablo Burger, my wife tried the Hawaiian Burger, and my daughter went for the BBQ chicken wings. My daughter absolutely loved the wings—she said they were huge compared to what you typically get at other places, and the sauce was just right. As for my burger, it was cooked well done, though I usually prefer mine rare. That said, the bun, the meat, and the piled-high toppings were all delicious. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while, easily beating out favorites like Cheddar's Bacon Cheeseburger or Red Robin's offerings. If you're in the area running errands, definitely stop by for a burger or some wings. The service is quick, so you won’t have to wait long to enjoy a great meal.

ZABIHA HALAL(HAND SLAUGHTERED CHICKEN) 😍 Very tasty fried chicken. Can be a little spicy if you're not used to it. The burgers are awesome too. I tried the double patty. It was well cooked and tasted way too good!

Tried the new zabihah halal fried chicken under the new management and it’s incredible. At the time of this review, the fried chicken isn’t listed on Uber Eats or their in store menu but it’s available and absolutely worth the 20 to 30 minute wait. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and spicy but not too spicy. Hands down the best halal fried chicken in Austin. My kiddo doesn't like spicy food but he will eat this chicken, taking huge sips of water in between bites. That is a testament to how good the chicken is! As far as I know, this is the only spot in Austin serving Middle Eastern broasted fried chicken. Halal Wings is probably the next closest option but this is better in every measurable way. I think there are just a few standout items here. Besides the fried chicken, I have also heard good things about the Zinger and the chicken tenders. The fries are average but get the job done. That said, the overall dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired. As we were walking in, a guy walking out warned us they are very rude here. Inside the place was empty and remained so, except one other family came in to eat. Most of the tables were dirty. There was only one person working and doing everything so I’m giving her some grace on both the mess and the unfriendly vibes. With that said, the ambiance, cleanliness, and the service do not match the menu prices. We will keep coming back for the fried chicken but definitely not to dine in. Not the fanciest place, but the people working there are super nice and the food was amazing. My wife and kids all enjoyed as well. Pricing on some items seems a little bit high, but if you order more things it’s significantly drops. For example, the larger players & catering prices are very fair.

Fried chicken was good, really liked it. But the fried chicken burger(zinger) tasted below average, not at all crispy and no taste in the sauce.

Classic shopping center Mediterranean/halal spot. Went in at peak lunchtime on a weekday and it was pretty dead which means my food was made to order and took a few minutes but I didn’t mind. They did raise their prices recently but so did everyone. Only comment is I’d avoid the chicken; it’s kind of dry. Stick to the regular gyro stuff.

Great Ambiance. Menu options were great. Staff was also friendly and helpful. I ordered the Philly Cheese Burger, The Zaza wrap and the Gyro over Rice. We also ordered the fries and drink. Their fries were great. My kids just want to go back for the fries...but apart from that the best item was the wrap, taste was on point, but it was too small. I have had much larger wraps for the same price. The philly cheese burger was tasteless. The Gyro over Rice were fine. I have had better ones. I liked the rice, they were flavorful. But their quantities are less than what we usually get at similar restaurants.

I had a high hope from this restaurant. Specially after reading all the reviews that how good the lamb supposed to be. I really wanted the lamb at this restaurant as good as the reviews. I was really hoping for that. Unfortunately, lamb kebab were overcooked dry, and some pieces were not evenly cooked. I am disappointed because I was really hoping that this local restaurant would be really good, because I do support local businesses. I will likely give another shot just because this could be a one off.

A bang average Mediterranean joint next to the domain in north Austin. I got the $9.99 chicken shawarma special with the fries and the drink. The soda fountain was okay, the fries were the redeeming quality. Service is average.

This place is amazing! The owner is so nice and friendly. The food is to die for, we got the gyro wrap and the lamb plate and they were both so tasty and well seasoned. The lamb plate was huge! Truly. And the hummus, I mean, amazing. Taquero Mucho right next door has nothing on this place. Come eat dinner at Zaza and THEN get drinks after at Taquero. This place is so worth the try.

I am not coming here for food again, they increase price , from 9$ to 14,99, the food is not delicious, but the price increases. And I am not recommending my friends and family to get food from zaza. I post the picture , the prices is 9$ last week, in one week the price increases from 9$ to 14$ , with 14$ I can eat buffet , , please don’t waste your money on zaza

What a wonderful little food truck own by two sweet and kind people!!!! Fatima and Mohammed provided amazing conversation and delicious food. First off, the they provided us this tea (chai I think) soooooooo good. We ordered their special biryani chicken and split it. The sauce was spicy and on point! The chicken was cooked well, full of flavor, the rice was soft and fluffy. I love baklava and their's didn't disappoint. Tried the gulab and it is definitely something I would order again. Plenty of parking, easy to get to - a HIDDEN GEM in Round Rock!

Best Biriyani in Town. If you crave for Hyderabad biriyani, don’t look further. We ordered full tray chicken biriyani & haleem, it was ready super hot , on time. The quality and quantity both were top notch. The flavors, taste and aroma were simply amazing. If you have party orders or large gathering , this will be good place.

Not sure what happened to this place. It was my go to for Mediterranean. We were coming here 2 times a week. Seems they have new staff or new cooks because food is no longer up to par. Girl who answered was super nice. I ordered the mix shawarma plate with gyro. Food came out quick. Unfortunately the quality was horrific. The Salad wasn’t even a salad. It was this little corner with barely any salad. Didn’t look fresh, and it was so soggy. I didn’t even taste it. It looked disgusting. The pita bread was hard and tasted old. The hummus was super oily and the meats were salty. I honestly can’t believe she thought it was ok to serve anyone a salad like this. For $15. I’ll never be back!! The picture I uploaded was the salad untouched.

I don’t typically leave bad reviews, if my experience is not good then I’d rather not review at all in the case that the restaurant/food truck was just having an off day. That said, the falafel we got from this truck was so terrible I had to throw it away. I take food waste very seriously so this was not an easy task for me. There was no taste to the falafel, they were too crisp on the outside and weirdly mushy and soggy on the inside. And their prices are not cheap for the portions/poor quality. We ordered for pickup in April, have not been back since and will likely not be doing so again.

I order Falafel Wrap and they gave me falafel quesadilla instead and it tested horrible, I would not recommend to try here.

Delicious lox bagel. The salmon was great, the everything bagel tasty and crunchy, and the tomatoes, onions and capers just right. The other sandwiches and bread look fantastic so I’ll be back to try them. Another visit: I tried the veggie sandwich and the veggie part was excellent; tasty roasted peppers, fresh avocado, and greens. Also, the chips were the crispest I’ve ever had. But the focaccia bread was a letdown, extremely bland and devoid of taste. Still a great place for a bagel or sandwich.

Best bagels in Austin. Keep it simple and get a toasted bagel with schmear. My favorite combo is the jalapeño bagel with roasted garlic schmear. Their sweets are also delicious! Chocolate rugelach and cinnamon rolls especially.

No one in Austin is doing bagels like Casper Fermentables, they are unmatched! This place has quickly become our go-to weekend breakfast spot. Our favorites are the lox bagel, the pizza bagel (try it with the jalapeño bagel- yum!), and the incredibly delicious sourdough cinnamon roll. Casper Fermentables is also perfectly located next to an awesome coffee shop (Stouthaus) and has plenty of outdoor seating. Every weekend we’ve gone the place gets more and more busy, this place is a gem and people are catching on!

Overrated and overpriced. I lived in NYC for nearly 5 years. I know a good bagel. Ate them all the time. The bagels here are small, dense, and rubbery. In other words, the opposite of what a bagel should be. Could barely enjoy my lox bagel without damn near all the toppings falling off because it was so rubbery that I had to wrestle the bagel to get a bite. It required actual effort to eat and was needlessly messy as a result. The layout of the place is really bad. The space can barely handle a 4 person line with how it’s currently set up, and there was at least 4 people in line the entire time I was there. There’s definitely a smarter way to utilize the space. I will give them credit on a couple of things: 1. The toppings - the lox, whitefish, cream cheese, etc., all seemed good. 2. The service was good. I was expecting more from this place based on the reviews. Overall fine, but don’t expect to be wowed or feel like you got your money’s worth.

Caspers is one of the best and unique experiences of sourdough bread, bagels and the absolute best cinnamon rolls! I highly recommend indulging in a yummy breakfast or lunch here. Phoebe went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful experience!

Tuna sandwich was awesome! It’s fresh, made to order, and not too wet/mayo-y. The turkey was just okay. It’s nothing special. The cafe is very cute. It’s a small space, so you’ll have to share tables if hanging out.

Every time I visit here, I'm blown away by the freshness and quality of the items offered. The bagels are always superb, and their sandwiches are some of the best I've had in Austin. Definitely give them a try!

Austin Rotisserie is like if a charming little Parisian café got dropped into a downtown Austin strip mall, but miraculously kept all its French-ness—minus the snobbery. I ordered the ham and cheese baguette, and let me tell you, it was aggressively French. No sauce, no sides, no lettuce trying to impress you. Just ham. Cheese. Baguette. Like it was legally required to be that minimal. But the twist? The service was actually great. The staff smiled—on purpose—and didn’t judge my lack of scarf or existential despair. They were kind, fast, and totally ruined my stereotype of aloof French waiters who sigh between every word. Was it the best value? Not really. But hey, it didn’t come with a side of attitude or a lecture about how I’m holding my fork wrong. For a moment, I felt like I was in Paris—except nobody chain-smoked next to me. 4.0 out of 5 croissants.

I was able to eat a great plate with a chicken breast and potatoes! The portions were just right. The flavor of it all was very delicious! I should also mention that the customer service was great. Very professional and nice folks there. I would definitely eat at Austin Rotisserie again and I would suggest it to others.

I got the Poulet Roti Baguette and it was very good. It is a decent size sandwich with plenty of meat in it and the got cheese is a perfect combination. This place is in a food hall so it is easy to get a seat. You order on their tablet and they text you when the food is ready so there is no one helping you. Parking is difficult because it’s downtown but their are paid parking garages near by.

I debated posting this review because the person on the phone that I talked to after calling to inform them about my situation was very kind, but in the end this is a legit health hazard. I’ve ordered the poulet roti 10+ times and always loved it. But tonight when I was eating it I bit into a whole chicken bone and chipped my tooth. This is wild and unacceptable.

My girlfriend and I came here and got the 1/4 chicken with potatoes and poulet roti baguette. I must say it was excellent! My girlfriend is from Paris and she gave her approval haha. Ervin was very kind, professional and attentive to us. We greatly appreciate him and this amazing food! Thank you guys, we will be back! A la prochaine!

Chicken was cooked to perfection! I ordered the half a chicken, which was too much on one. I ate the white meat, and it was moist, flavorful and seasoned. I had the dark meat portion, which reheats well, on my second day. The potatoes drizzled with the chicken dripping was delicious. So you know, fat doesn’t cause weight again, so enjoy. I don’t care. It tastes good on potatoes! 😆

Been a huge fan since they opened in a food truck in East Austin about 6 years ago. Love the new space and the menu additions. The chicken is delicious and moist, the fresh house baked baguettes are my favorite bread in town, I can't go here without getting some of those potatoes! The staff is always friendly and efficient, you'll often times see one of the owners there, they're so friendly and you can tell they really care about the customers, food, and staff.

We went to Mealma today don't know if it was an off day, but the service and food were both mediocre. Didn't feel welcomed and our food looked like it was missing the white dipping sauce from other pictures. Overall experience was just okay. On a good note Beef dumpling seemed fresh and the drizzled sauce was tasty.

You have to try this place! What an amazing find! We found this place off of DoorDash, we had never tried Afghani food before and wanted to branch out. I picked up under my husband’s name which led to a lovely conversation with Armand who I believe owns the truck. He was so unbelievably kind and hospitable. We just moved here, the moving process was horrible and it was so nice to meet such a kind person the first day. The entire interaction really did turn a terrible week around; it just shows how kindness between strangers can truly go a long way. As if the atmosphere and the customer service alone wasn’t enough, THE FOOD WAS HEAVENLY! I got three items for 2 people which I assumed would leave a little extra for my lunch the next day….. that was wishful thinking. It was demolished within 30 minutes 😂😂 I let Armand know when I picked up the food that we loved spicy food so he included additional spicy sauce for us and that really took it over the top. When we order again we will get more of all the sauces since they were so good. We did not try anything other than their dumplings, lamb shank, and the chicken kebabs, which are all speciality dishes. There are other foods that they sell here but if you come here and only get a burger and fries you would be missing out. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better first Austin food truck experience nor a better first Afghani food experience. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back!

I had the chance to eat at this Afghan food truck and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I tried the Qabuli Palaw and it was absolutely delicious — the rice was perfectly spiced, the meat was tender and juicy, falling right off the bone, and every bite was full of authentic, comforting flavor. The place looked very clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus for me. On top of that, the service was outstanding — the person who helped me was kind, respectful, and very attentive. I also appreciated that they have tables if you want to eat there, but you can also take your food to go. I definitely recommend this place 100% — a true gem for anyone looking to try authentic, well-made Afghan cuisine.

First time trying Afghani food, and it did not disappoint. The beef-stuffed dumplings were rich with layers of flavor. The qabuli was flavorful and comforting- The lamb was tender and fall-off-the-bone and the rice was well cooked. I would definitely come back.

I tried the Beef Chapli Wrap, Beef Dumplings, and the Qabuli Palaw with Lamb Shank and every single dish blew me away. you can tell they put so much care into their cooking. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, the dumplings were packed with flavor and juicy, and the chapli wrap was perfection. The portions are HUGE, making the already and its affordable. This place is a hidden gem that I’ll definitely be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for hearty, flavorful, and generous halal food!

Those looking to try authentic Pakistani cuisine, this is the place for them. We ordered Karahi , Biryani, Chappli Kababs, chowmein , teriyaki chicken, nehari, tawa chicken, chicken Tikka roles and the chappli kabab smash burger. It was a large party, hence so much food. But it gave us a chance to sample everything. The biryani, karahi, and nehari were fantastic!. The chowmein was good, but the teriyaki chicken and chappli kababs were lacking in taste. I highly recommend the chicken karahi and nehari. The ambience is nothing special, but there ample seating available for large parties and a large parking lot. Good place to host parties. The staff is also very nice. Food is served quickly as well.

We ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken degi Qorma and mix bbq platter. I would say their Biryani takes the trophy...amongst the best I've had. Degi Qorma too was authentic and delicious. The bbq platter did not impress us and was a little under whelming. Also the fact they did not have any items that were kids friendly was a bummer. Overall great service and atmosphere with good food. Would go again.

Great food / quick service. The Chicken Karahi and Beef Haleem were delicious! We were so hungry that we forgot to take pics till mid-meal :) One suggestion: go a little easy on the oil..the flavors will still be there..

While in Austin, I was looking for some Pakistani food and found this place with good reviews. Gave them a shot and I have now found my new go to Pakistani food place in Austin. They just opened a month or two ago. They have good variety of Chinese/Asian food. I ordered Mongolian beef, Beef Chapli burger and Pakistani doodh patti tea. Portion size was great. Mongolian beef was spot on. Burger was full of flavors, juicy and spicy. Fries were freshly made(not like frozen fries) and doodh patti tea was the besttt. I'm definitely coming back!!

Delivery order - Love having halal Asian options. The Chicken Chow Mein was really good. Lamb/beef over rice was dry and too much cardamom(?) flavor. Also has ramen, boba, and smoothies. Can't wait to try the chapli kababs and biryani. Will update as I try more things.

First time here. This is a new place only open 3 weeks back. Food was just average. Butter chicken did not taste like butter chicken at all. Goat karahi was ok but it was mostly bones than meat. Chapli kebab was bland and undercooked, had to be sent back. They readily took it back and replaced with another dish. We ordered Chicken chow mein which was good. The service was good. They just need to improve their food quality or else we likely not going back.

Amazing Asian halal variety. Have tried the sushi crunch multiple times. Each time is just wow 😍 My family also tried Teriyaki beef bowl, spicy beef and shrimp ramen, and chicken fried rice. Everything tastes Amazing 👌 👏 😋 😍. Have not gotten to try Mediterranean and Pakistani food yet, will save for next time!!

Hours are great and the guy there doesn’t say much. It’s decent, especially if you hit the bars on 6th st. It isn’t as good as the NYC halal carts near 34th street. Glad I tried it.

THE BEST gyros/bowls I've ever had!!! And if you're a sauce lover..... THIS IS YOUR DREAM!! They overload on the sauce in the most amazing way possible, it makes everything creamy and the flavors explode. My favorite place!

Best gyros ever!! They're even good reheated the next day if you need to get more than one 😀. The owner and the guy that works with him are so nice and give great customer service.

Great seasoning on chicken shawarma, fantastic choice! Good tzatziki sauce as well and the falafel is good to try but the chicken shawarma was definitely my preference. My friend said the hot dog was fantastic and the burger was ok but we had the burger to go so it wasn’t eaten right away. The fries were seasoned well but I forgot to ask to make them extra crispy as is my preference. The guys are Super nice there, great customer service!

Excellent service, on point with the recommendations but most importantly DELICIOUS flavors and sauces. We were attracted by their star ratings, walked 9 blocks, it did not disappoint! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The portion sizes were great, generous with the sauce and I loved that they included add ins like feta cheese and pickles which other halal carts don’t include. We got the max plate and beef shawarma wrap, the lamb and beef were quite salty though which made it hard to eat but the chicken was delicious. I also loved the salad because it seemed fresh and was cut perfectly to fit in your mouth.

Max plate and chicken on fries 10/10. Quick service and even though they had a line the wait for food was only about 12 minutes. We found them located in the Grackle parking lot. So so so good. So glad we just happened to see them. Shawarma, gyros, plates, salads. A couple tables were set up out front. Water and canned sodas available too.

I wish there was a rating more than 5 . I have had some great Middle Eastern food but this is the best of my life. The food is cooked with great care and detail; you can see it. Try the max plate, hummus, falafel. Anything you want really. They are a must must try. Cannot say more

Well what can I say about this place? Personally for me it takes the crown from al Petra and goes straight to the number 1 spot. The flavours of everything were amazing and for 12 bucks you can’t go wrong. This was the chicken sharwarma plate and they were very generous with the sauces and chicken too. Definitely worth your money, would recommend you to visit this place if in Austin. 10/10

I ordered the falafel wrap and it was fantastic. This is the perfect food truck/late night spot after a night out or a show downtown. Service was friendly and all of my friends enjoyed their orders as well.

Best Mandi in town. The places was a difficult to find but the food was delicious. I was just visiting Austin and came across this spot and I am glad I tried.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my recent experience!!! The presentation of my to-go order, served on a paper plate covered in plastic wrap, was lackluster to say the least . The rice was bland and tasteless, lacking the flavorful characteristics I expect from Mandi. The chicken was overly cooked and lacked any noticeable Indian spices or flavors. The accompanying spicy salsa was the only redeeming factor, adding a bit of zest to the otherwise bland rice. I'm unsure how this dish can be accurately categorized as Mandi, as it deviates significantly from the traditional preparation. Based on my experience, I would say this restaurant specializes in chicken rice, not Mandi.

Update: owners reached out and took my feedback. Came back to try it again and I'm updating to 5 stars absolutely amazing food with soft pieces of lamb. Solid mandi overall, the rice was perfect and sauce was also good. The lamb itself had good flavor but some pieces were a bit tough felt more like roast beef than lamb mandi.

Have been to hundreds of restaurants all over the US but found nothing like their Mandi that immediately reminded me of good restaurants in the Middle East. 10/10 on authenticity of taste and presentation. They also have dessert

Delicious Authentic Pakistani taste. Chicken Parhata Roll is a must try. I had their Zinger Burger which was amazing. Gonna be going back next Friday for their grand opening.

We were dissapointed overall with our experience. I ordered on the phone and when we reached they said that our order was not ready. We had to wait almost 40 minutes to get our order. The paratha roll was pretty average. The crispy chicken burgers were huge and tasted good but they were very dry. They need to give additional sauce with them. They need to up their game by improving service. there is potential but a lot of room for improvement.

We got our good catered from cafe Peyala for day after the nikkah of our brother and his new wife. The food was amazing, biryani, egg plant, kabobs, plaou. Our guests loved their food. Thank you cafe Peyala

We have been eating here for a while, there biryani and zinger burgers are amazing. Latge size portion of zinger burger is mouth watering.

I’m writing this review after my 6th visit and I can assure everyone that the food here is amazing! The biryani is well made and has the authentic taste that many people love! The offer a wide variety of other items such as samosas and gyros! If you felt like there was something not up to your standard, I would highly recommend talking with them as they are very polite and want to make sure you’re happy with their service! They are a fairly new food truck so I would encourage everyone to come out to support them and witness the superb flavors that come from their cooking!!!

Tried their most famous, overhyped biryani yesterday. First thing, being a food truck the quantity was way less than what you can get even from any good restaurant in Houston for the same price ($8.65). The biryani was cold, extremely dry and i could barely find more than 2-3 meat pieces. Coming on to taste, its ordinary with no biryani spice flavour. Biryani pot and Hyderabad house offers you way better authentic taste. My first and last visit🤷‍♂️

Was craving authentic Pakistani food that was flavorful and I had heard a lot of good things about peyala from mutual so decided to give it a try. I fell in love. I had their famous biryani and I will definitely go back again. Food was 10/10.

We tried a couple of burgers from this food truck, and they tasted nice, it felt like a fast food twist on desi flavor. As the name suggests it was hot. Serving size could have been better. Staff was friendly and explained what offerings they have.

Zinger Burger, Steak bites, and Surf & Turf are the 3 dishes I've tried so far. I am definitely going back to try rest of the menu because I really loved their service and mouth watering dishes. Try it, I bet you will not be disappointed!

Been here a few times now so I can confidently give them 5 stars. Not only can you expect top notch service (if anything is off, they will immediately take care of it) they are also constantly creating one of a kind, delicious fusion creations that somehow manage to be more delicious than the last. My favorite item used to be the bihari burger (which is still great) but now the hot chic aka chicken patakha burger has taken the crown! Delicious sauce and flavors. Almost forgot about the Zinger burger! Also my favorite depending on the mood lol. Add some Cajun crab fries on the side and we good boii!

The food is VERY unique!!! Everything is full of flavor and scrumptious; along with the ambiance being very cozy and inviting. The service was impeccable! All in all the food is outstanding and you’re definitely missing out if you haven’t tried this place yet!

I like to try Desi food with innovation. I love burgers and nihari as separate food. Heard a lot about their nihari burger but honestly, was super skeptical with the thought of it. Finally gathered the courage and tried it today. I must say, I loved it. It was juicy, spicy and full of flavor. Would love to try it again. Keep up the good food.

Highly recommend. We ordered 1 of everything and it’s all good, the meats are perfectly spiced, awesome sauces. Don’t forget to try the funnel cake fries, they are life changing. It’s family owned and run and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the food and service. Live music and lawn games are fun too! great for the kiddos. Manor is lucky to have this little gem.
