Home Slice Pizza is a popular spot in Austin, known for its thin-crust slices and pies available for dining in or carry out, especially open late for takeaway on weekends. It's a go-to place for Northeast transplants seeking an authentic New York-style pie with the distinct aroma of cheese and tomato sauce. The classic Pepperoni and Mushroom slice is a favorite, while the White Clam Pizza offers a unique twist with chopped clams and garlic.
This place was incredible! I glad I found a great place to go when I need to get a good slice of pizza. I love the salad, I chose Pear Gorgonzola and I LOVED, highly recommend! Then the pizza came: half White Pie With Spinach and half white clam pizza. I we enjoy the combination. The service was great, she gave us options and offer the different drinks options, we ended up with lemonade which was really good. Finally, the place it's cozy, a bit dark inside but you can seat inside and outside (based on availability).

Want to start off by saying the restaurant itself is very cozy. Choice of booths, sitting at the bar, or a normal table. I’m a sucker for a booth so that’s what I went with. Milo who was my server was most pleasant and helpful with suggestions being my first time here. Had a beer to go along with the pizza and was pleasantly surprised. Initially just ordered a slice of pepperoni but after falling in love with that, and the server giving me a slice of sausage and garlic pizza I decided to take a box back to the hotel. Beer was incredible, pizza was out of this world and as my pops said “best pizza I’ve ever had”. Service was also outstanding and the atmosphere in general is great. Wish I lived here so I could be a regular of the place. Long story short this is the spot to go to if you’re in Austin and want a legit pizza!

Home Slice Pizza 🍕 My favorite NY style pizza in Austin. My cousin’s band Wiretree played here during one SXSW so I have fond memories of that but I have been visiting this restaurant for over a decade. It is a great place to just stop in for a slice. They now have a 2nd location next door so even more capacity. I have always had a great meal here and it is a mandatory stop on my visit. Giant slices and a wide variety of toppings as well. I will add more pictures of the food soon but suffice it to say this is a beloved spot for me when I am in ATX.

I came here with my son on a little weekend trip we took and it was so fun. It was the first thing we did after landing in Austin and it was a perfect start to the trip. We came around 930pm but the restaurant was still plenty full. The hostess was really nice and chatted with us about our trip. Out server was great too. The restaurant is kept darkish at night and had a bar vibe, but not uninvitingly for a kid. My son actually loved it, he said he'd ever been on a place like it before. The pizza is New York style ish. You never really quite copy it, but it was delicous. Pretty thin, very crispy, and good sauce cheese ratio. My favorite style. We got mile and cookies at the end. The cookies were intense, super think and delicious chocolate chip. The milk was whole 😂 This place was perfect and is recommend anyone check it out!

If you're craving top-tier pizza, this is the place to be! The food is good, pizza is great and they have one of those mozzarella cheese container things on tables, they also had great dessert but it is filling. Service is solid, the staff is friendly and quick, though during peak hours, you might wait a bit. Still, their upbeat attitude makes up for any delay. As for the atmosphere, it’s dim but I oddly like it, it’s a fun spot whether you’re dining in with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Overall: 4.7/5 — Highly recommend! Home Slice lives up to the hype.

Found the best pizza joint in Austin!!! Pizza was delicious and staff was so friendly made us feel right at home. 8 in this family and they didn't complain about our noise. Great place to eat highly recommended HOME SLICE South Congress. DEFINITELY coming back here when we come back to Austin!!!! Classic pepperoni can't go wrong, margherita pizza finger licking good!!!!

Home Slice Pizza is a true Austin treasure! We were there for their 20th birthday celebration which Travis County officially recognized as Home Slice Pizza Day on November 15th and the whole event was such a blast! My husband, Guy Perry with Horizon Bank, was proud to help support the celebration, and we also had the chance to volunteer, which made the day even more meaningful. Of course, the food is always the star. Their pizzas are legendary, but my personal obsession is the Italian sub with a side of marinara....easily one of the best sandwiches in Austin. Whether you’re grabbing a slice, sharing a pie with friends, or celebrating a big Austin moment, Home Slice never misses. Love this place! 🍕💛
Nicole P — Google review
Homeslice came highly recommended, but I found it to be overpriced and mediocre. Pizza is my all-time favorite food, so I consider myself to be a bit of an expert in the field of marinana, mozzarella, and crust. Homeslice is all hype. First, parking is a mess. It's impossible to find a spot in the restaurant's lot, and you have to park way far away in an adjacent neighborhood. It only costs $2 to park, but still a pain. The line for a slice was crazy, but we got in it. They moved the line quickly. Since it was our first time and we wanted to sample several things, we ordered a slice of pepperoni, a slice of cheese, and a small Italian sub. After jockeying for position, we finally got a place to sit after waiting almost 15 minutes. They have seating on an outdoor patio, which has to be unpleasant on hot, humid days. It took a long time to get our order, and we waited nearly 30 minutes after ordering. An employee came out and screamed out name, and we had our noms. Even at first glance, the pizza slices looked disappointing. Not only were they small, but they were clearly lacking enough cheese. So many bites had no cheese at all! Pizza needs plenty of cheese, people! The sauce and crust had absolutely no flavor. It needed some garlic, salt, oregano, something, ANYTHING! The pepperoni was particularly gross. It tasted like a wet dog smells. Barf. It went unfinished. The Italian sub looked good, but was mediocre. The only thing it had going for it was the toasted bread. Other than that, you can get far better sandwiches just about anywhere except Subway. For how pricey this place was, I can't believe the high reviews and ratings. Maybe Austin locals aren't picky about their pizza, but I would never come back to eat here. Ya'll are crazy to think this is a good restaurant.

Nestled in the charming Crestview neighborhood of Austin, Little Deli & Pizzeria is a delightful hidden gem that offers an authentic taste of Jersey-style cuisine. This cozy deli features a mouthwatering selection of specialty pizzas and an array of hot and cold sandwiches, making it a favorite among locals.
Little Deli has been my favorite neighborhood place for more than a decade. The corned beef, pastrami, and chicken salad are fantastic. The pizza is good but not as good as the corned beef. The restaurant is very small with only maybe half a dozen tables inside. There is some outdoor seating which is great in the fall in the spring, but not so much in the winter or the summer!
Steve T — Google review
Was recommended this place by a fellow New Yorker and was told that the pizza here is the closest I would find to NYC pizza here in Austin. And it probably is! The atmosphere is really chill. The service was fast and there were a lot of people here which is always a good sign! The pizza was really good. Not quite NYC, but the crust was good, red sauce was okay and just wish had a little more cheese on the cheese pizza.
Charlise W — Google review
Love the thin crust! Not sure if it's stone baked but we had half pepperoni and half margherita! Reuben sandwich and Greek salad! Great way to spend quality foodie time with my fellow foodie queen friends! We had a great time we stayed, dined and just had amazing time. Service was cool, people mostly take out and the outdoor area looked cool. Simple yet worthwhile.
MC S — Google review
Very solid pizza and sandwiches! The cheese on the pizza has a nice robust, strong flavor (romano, perhaps?). It also holds up well when you fold it 🤌 They have a good amount of (outdoor) seating
Charles P — Google review
My mom works in the area and I was meeting her for lunch, we were both craving a sub and chose this place specifically because they also serve pizza which is perfect because I have a four-year-old and one year-old who love pizza. When we first pulled up, we almost left because it looked super packed outside and being 39 weeks pregnant, I didn’t know if I could handle the heat but ended up deciding to stay after finding a table in the shade and that was probably the best decision I made that day. I think this might be the best sub I have ever had and I love me a sub. All of their ingredients seemed high-quality. I got the club sub which comes with turkey ham, bacon, and provolone. they’re bacon was perfect. I’ve been to many places where the bacon is just OK. I definitely plan on coming back to this place. The pizza by the slice was also good 10 out of 10 if you’re in the area this place is worth trying.
Chantel C — Google review
Love stopping here for a great Italian sub. Whole menu is amazing. Quick kind service, order at the counter. Fresh deli sides, fountain, cans, glass bottle sodas. Kille cookies, and cake slices, carrot cake to die for. Quite a few tables inside, plenty of patio & picnic tables, gazebo garden for kids to play around. Family friendly and relaxing neighborhood spot for takeout.
Holland ( — Google review
Decent pizza. We tried it because it is on so many 10 best pizza lists. That may have set our expectation a bit high. Crust was very good. Sauce a bit sweet and too thick for our taste. We topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bell peppers. Again decent - but toppings were mild / lacked saltiness? I suspect the sweet sauce and would order “extra light” on the sauce next time. Service at the counter / they bring it out to you. Very polite and attentive. We sat outside in the shade comfortably. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. Lots of to go orders it seemed. If your taste is on the sweeter side you might love it. Crust is easily a top 10!
Focus T — Google review
Easily the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. Get Harry's Pastrami. It's so good I've never tried this place's pizza, but I've been told by native New Yorkers that the pizza is some of the most legit in Austin as well. When people ask me what my favorite restaurant in Austin is, this place takes the cake. The atmosphere is wonderful, but there is VERY limited indoor seating - so make sure the weather's nice or you don't mind the outdoors. Take your friends here, have a good time, have an outstanding meal, and savor the moment.

Pinthouse Pizza is a popular spot known for its craft beer and delicious pizza. The brewery's IPA program, particularly their interpretations of Northeastern-style IPAs like This Is Juice, Die in a Haze, and Electric Jellyfish, showcases the brewmaster's talent in creating soft, round, and juicy finishes on the palate. The communal seating at Pinthouse Pizza is often filled with a diverse crowd enjoying the brewery's beers alongside their pizzas.
This was our first time at Pinthouse Brewing on South Lamar, and we loved it! The pizza was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. They also have a great selection of craft beers. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends or bring the family. We’ll definitely be back.
Eatwithjarco — Google review
For a quick bite to eat, great pizza flavor combinations, and great selections of been on tap, this place is a great go-to! I ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and my partner ordered to hot honey pepperoni pizza! Both were amazing and the small size was just enough for both of us to have our own and get full. To top it off, we had the brownie sundae for dessert and it was so delectable. I wasn't expecting them to have such a good brownie honestly. I definitely recommend and will be back for more pizza!
Anthony J — Google review
The pizzas not gonna blow you away but its really solid. Ima traditionalist when it comes to American pizza ... sausage onion maybe mushrooms if not canned, and probably hate on fru fru pizza lovers a bit to harshly, but broke down and had their Bobby Bacala special and it was really good. The big pretzel app is a must. The meatballs are really nicely done and just the right amount of spice. But, people come here for the energy, the fast service and the wall of beer.

We stopped by Pint House Pizza on Lamar in Austin, Texas, for dinner and the place was hoppin’! Luckily, they opened up a bar line so we could order without waiting forever. We went with a half-and-half pizza, perfect for mixing and matching toppings, and grabbed it some salads (I had the Caesar). I usually take a picture of the whole pizza, but we all dug in because we were starving. So the partial pizza is what you get a picture of this review lol. Finding a seat was the biggest challenge since we had a big group, but hey, a packed house usually means good food, right? Once we settled in, our salads arrived, and we grabbed our drinks. The pizza? Delicious. The Caesar salad? Tasty, but heads up—it’s got a spicy, peppery kick that was a bit bold for my taste. Still, a solid experience overall, and I’m sure we’ll be back for round two!

Pinthouse Pizza is one of my favorite spots in Austin! The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked, and their craft beers are some of the best in town. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, great for hanging out with friends or family. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. Overall, it’s just a great place for good food, good beer, and good vibes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Local Favorite! As a family born and raised in Austin, Pinthouse Pizza has become one of our go-to spots for good times and great food. The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — every bite is a reminder of why we keep coming back. We’re also huge fans of the Electric Jellyfish — hands down the best IPA in town! Whether we’re celebrating something special or just enjoying a laid-back evening together, Pinthouse always hits the spot. Great vibes, friendly service, and consistently amazing food and drinks. We’re proud to support a local gem that truly represents the heart of Austin. 🍕🍻💛

Nestled in the heart of Austin, The Backspace is a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking an authentic Neapolitan experience. This charming eatery specializes in thin-crust pies that boast an exceptional dough—crispy yet delightfully fluffy, thanks to its unique wood-fired preparation. One standout dish is their Bianca Pizza, which artfully balances rich flavors with refreshing lemon and arugula, ensuring you can enjoy multiple slices without feeling overwhelmed.
So glad we heard about this neat little spot and dropped in. The space is cozy yet lofty and they are serious about their thin crust pizza which is admittedly my favorite style, especially when it has a bit of that light oven charr and blistering…yum. The 12” pizzas are generous n size and I think perfect for sharing when everyone picks their fav. We also shared salads and barely finished it all so come hungry. Service was friendly and prompt and we’ll definitely be back to try other offerings from the wood fired oven. PS- compact but serviceable wine offerings available.

Pizzas are amazing, I loved Nduja pizza, is really good. I loved the place, is quiet and you can just escape from the noise in Downtown. Definitely will come back.
Joel R — Google review
Pizzeria in Downtown Austin , very small inside so consider to book your table before online at least a day before. What I didn’t like is the size of the table, we were 3 and it was very tiny table you can’t even keep glasses and plates on it if you have pizzas. Atmosphere is good, pleasant music . Pizzas were ok, nothing to compare to Italian, in Italy doesn’t exist pizza with nduja potatos and parsley!!! My Italian husband was in shock after finding parsley on pizza instead of basil. Chocolate budino for dessert was delicious as well as Italian beer Peroni. If you like try different pizza places, definitely give it a try.
Evgeniya K — Google review
The food is delicious and the Moscato is light and sweet. The Hors d'oeuvres, especially the pecorino chicken wings and garlic crusted shishito peppers, are fantastic. We recently went for our 19th anniversary and they presented us with two glasses of prosciutto upon being seated which I thought was a really nice touch. The only downside is that the parking in the area is quite limited and can be hard to find. We barely made our reservation time as it took us a half hour to find parking so keep that in mind if visiting this restaurant.
Brandon O — Google review
What a hidden gem! The Backspace is a must-visit if you’re in Austin. The pizza is outstanding the flavor, the crust, and the true wood-fired quality give it that authentic touch. Having tried pizza all across Italy, I can honestly say this meets the mark. The food is fantastic, and the service is absolutely excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!
Christopher E — Google review
Small place but nice. It's not an original Italian pizza. Nduja pizza has to be just a simple margerita with nduja. Please use mozzarella cheese. Peroni 🍺 ok.

We stopped in here by chance after seeing a show. Its a cool small quiet place. The wood oven pizza was delicious! Fresh flavors, tomato sauce with a little kick. Pizza crust was perfection! Highly recommend.

East Side Pies is a delightful pizza haven that perfectly embodies the quirky spirit of Austin. With its vibrant cosmic decor, this pizzeria offers an array of unique toppings and specialty pies that go beyond the ordinary. Guests can enjoy thin-crust New York-style pizzas available by the slice or whole, making it a popular choice among locals and students alike. The menu features inventive options with various base sauces like chimichurri, black bean, ricotta, and pesto alongside classic red sauce offerings.
the pizza is soooo good!! this place really knows how to do thin crust. even just plain cheese pizza has great flavor. the pepperoni seems high quality. i was getting full but didn’t want to stop eating!! and the inside of the restaurant is really cute, has a nice diner feeling with cool decor!
Sara H — Google review
Almost 5 stars. The pie dough was good and cooked to perfection, but the red sauce lacked pizza pizzazz, kind of bland. The Italian sausage also had no kick on it, it could use fennel seeds. I did not taste any. The pepperoni Stromboli was very good. Disappointed to have the default 10% service tip added to the checkout...I will not tip on take out period and do not believe business owners should have that option opted in for customers durung checkout.

We had decent experience with pizza. Not super impressed. To me - Taste is not Justifiable for the price we paid for Pizza.
Vivek P — Google review
Perfect spot to watch the game, play a few games, and eat some pizza. Inside feels like an expanded version of the old school strip mall pizza places of my childhood. Outside is a very chill deck with a big screen tv (usually showing sports) that seems to be catnip for Dad’s taking care of their kids. If Homeslice feels like just “too much”, East Side Pies (which started in true East Austin back in 2006 - this location is firmly in the upper central west side) is your answer for local pizza and a place to entertain yourself and your kids. East Side pies is not New York style. The pizza has a Midwest meets punk rock vibe to it. They claim they are Austin style - but no other spot does pizza quite like them. I would argue they have a unique “East Side Pies” style and that it is not something they have truly shared stylistically beyond themselves. Solid pizza staple when you are looking for something to do with the kids and you do t want the hubbub of other spots.

This new location is so nice. Lots of parking. Super clean, spacious, and cozy at the same time. I really like the direction they took with this new spot. As usual, the pizza is absolutely out of this world. The manager thought my son's slice was too small so he brought him another. :-) Outstanding food and service every time we come. Eastside pies is truly an Austin original. It wouldn't be Austin without it.

This place never disappoints! I love their crispy crust and their oatmeal cream pies are sinful, I wish I never discovered them to be honest. Customer service is always on point. I seem to always interact with Scott and he's super cool and friendly. Their outdoor space is cool too! Not many places to play table tennis in Austin and they even have a little league type thing. So happy they are close to me. I will keep coming back!

We order delivery from this location. Today, got a note from the driver that when our pizza came out, East Side wasn't happy with it and were making us another pie. Waited a little longer (15min) but the pie we got was *fantastic.* They are committed to quality and the ingredients are better than their competitors. No regrets, will order again (and again!)

If you’re looking for a thin crust pizza, East Side Pies is great. I tried their vegetarian and vegan cheese options. They are delicious. Plenty of space to dine in, nice ambiance.

Via 313 Pizza is a local pizzeria chain with multiple locations in Austin, known for its square Detroit-style pizzas and creative toppings. Despite the COVID-19 shutdown, all five of Via 313's locations are offering no-contact curbside pickups. The Detroiter pizza, featuring layers of pepperoni and cheese, is a popular choice.
Located in the heart of East Austin; their Detroit-style pizza is a perfect blend of crispy, cheesy edges and a pillowy, airy crust. The crust alone is worth the visit – golden, buttery, and just the right amount of crunch. We got the Herbivore, very tasty! The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or grab a quick bite solo. Service is consistently friendly and attentive.

We came searching for Detroit-style pizza and this place is the real deal! Sat at the bar on a Saturday and had a great time talking with Joe. Wife and I split a 4 piece and really appreciated that you can split the toppings. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was very good while the pizza cooked. The venue was getting crowded around 7:00 PM and seeing all the locals come in is always a good sign. The pizza was best I’ve had (and I don’t say that lightly). Specialty topping combinations are unique and go very well together. The place is perfectly clean, spacious and cool in the TX heat. I would go back every time in Austin. The picture says it all.

Via 313 is my go-to spot whenever we are in town, honestly, I prefer their Detroit-style pizza over many I’ve had in Detroit itself. It never disappoints! The staff has always been super friendly since our first visit back in 2019. A memorable moment: during that first visit, we asked if they had a gluten-free dessert. They didn’t at the time, but the chef heard about it and surprised us by offering us a cinnamon-sugar dessert on the spot free of charge, something they were testing for the menu. It was amazing! When we saw it officially added to the menu later on, we smiled, feeling like we were part of its story. If you’re looking for a great Detroit style gluten-free pizza and genuinely kind people, this is the place.

I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️

We ordered online and picked up. It was easy and the pizza was delicious! We got a gluten free pepperoni and sausage with gluten free cinnamon sticks. The dough was so bouncy and soft, hard to believe it’s gf! I especially loved how the cheese baked to a perfect crisp on the outside of the pizza. Chefs kiss! The cinnamon sticks were very good as well and come with icing drizzled on top. I’ll certainly be back here!

Everything was so good from service to food. I had my waiter pick out my pizza order for me as I was feeling adventurous. My small Detroit pizza was half & half. Half Cadillac & Half Bobo. The Cadillac was something I would have never ordered on my own but it tasted so amazing just the mix of the cheese with the sweetness of the fig and tanginess of the balsamic vinaigrette was perfect. The Cadillac will be my new favorite pizza to eat from now after trying it. The service was also an amazing experience as everyone was so nice when it came to refills and asking me how everything tasted. Will 100% be coming back
Kristopher V — Google review
The pizza was very good and the online ordering system is thorough and makes addressing unique preferences very clear. Food costs are through the roof and this establishment is staying on the curve in order to be a going concern long term. In short a large two topping pizza came out just sub $40 at the time of writing. No sodas, no sides, pickup. This is not a complaint, just the facts. Will I order again, absolutely. Will it be in regular rotation, probably reserved for when I really crave it.

We had the best experience! Pizza was out of this world! You even have the option to split it into two different pizzas, giving you the option to try more than one of their options. Service was amazing! They made us feel like family. Go here !

Pieous is a laid-back Italian eatery located in the Cedar Creek suburb of Austin, offering a variety of authentic Neapolitan pizzas, Italian sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant features a charming rustic exterior and an inviting interior with chalkboard walls and NYC-inspired decor. In addition to their renowned thin-crust pizzas, Pieous also serves hand-carved, house-smoked Texas pastrami that attracts many patrons. Vegetarian options are also available for those looking for meatless choices.
My first time having neapolitan style pizza. This pizza was amazingly good as was the Caesar salad. Crust was chewy goodness with perfect char. Sauce tasted of fresh tomato picked at its peak. Establishment was new, clean and the staff were super friendly and smiley and greeted you…something hard to find these days. Wine by the glass or bottle. They have their own Pieous red or white too.

Tried Pieous and loved it! The Fiery Chicken Pizza had the perfect kick with a beautifully charred crust. Finished with their cheesecake loaded with brownie chunks—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Great vibe, friendly service. A must‑visit spot!

We enjoyed the Baby Billy sandwich with pastrami and turkey! Oh my! Tender and packed. The salads are great and the pizza delicious! Everything is fresh! Had to get the Affogato with brownie bites ..4 shared this wonderful creation!

Pieous never hit my radar until I penned an article on the Best Pastrami sandwiches in Austin. One by one, comments rolled in recommending Pieous be added to the list. When I pulled them up on Google Maps, I saw they had an Austin zip code, but they were located more than halfway to Dripping Springs off Highway 290. That's an hour and nine minutes from my house in Manor. I always say I will travel anywhere for good food, so on a recent Sunday morning I hopped in the car and drove to Pieous. Darn it...I forgot 290 was expanding and under construction everywhere. Add 20 more minutes to the trip. The Parking lot was full already and I figured there was some birthday party going on. Nope, it turns out people just really like this place. They like it for good reasons. Pieous is housed in a gorgeous facility similar to the look and feel of many breweries around Austin. Their main inside space has long picnic tables, as well as smaller four-tops and bar seating. Pieous also has a small private room, complete with tables, couches and TVs. Beautiful outside patio too. What Pieous does have, that many breweries don't is really good food, led by of course - pastrami. Seriously, you can't miss the fact they do pastrami, it's at the top of their menu If you think Pieous is a one-trick food pony. Oh no, patrons love their Neopolitan-style pizzas, salads, pasta and pastries. Yes, they have beer and wine for sale too. Also unique sodas, iced teas and coffees. Even Topo Chico for the hipsters. The Food If you're going for pizza, they offer 16 different pies in four broad categories - The Classics, Meat Pies, Signature Pies and Vegetarian. With so many great choices, I would try the Margherita, The Fat Queen or Rocket if you are there for your first visit. I would love to try their Bacon Bleu, or the House on Fire when I return. Check out their website for all the ingredients on each one. I mentioned my original intent was to sample their pastrami. The half pound sandwich is $17.55. However, you can get pastrami by the pound ($28.18), as a keto plate ($21.49), as Pieous Plate ($18.48) which includes house marinated onions, a Kosher pickle and two types of mustard; or thow caution to the wind and buy the whole delicious brisket ($199.08). Their style of pastrami is a hybrid between two styles most offered in Austin, slab, which is more like a Texas brisket or New York deli, which is thinly sliced. Pieous' looks like it's a little thicker sliced, but not slab. The sandwich was incredible. You get a slightly smokey background taste, but the forward taste is whatever spice blend they are putting in their brining process. I didn't ask about it, but whatever they are doing works well. Pieous also offers a number of Panuozzi. For those not familiar with this Italian street food, it's similar to the better known calzone. If this sounds like your thing, I suggest The Baby Billy ($16.63) half turkey and half pastrami, or the Prosciutto & Fresh Mozzarella ($14.55). They make the mozzarella in house, and it tastes perfect. If you're getting the feeling that you should make your own hour-long pilgrimage here, I have done my job well. But forget me, I'm just writing about it. Their talented and dedicated team is making the magic, every day - fresh and from scratch. #MattGoodEats

A delightful surprise and well worth the drive to hit Pieous. Even if busy, the line goes quickly and you are greeted by super nice waitstaff. I wish more restaurants understood the importance of having staff that enjoyed working and were nice to others. We ordered the Rocket Pizza which contained arugula and prosciutto and the Fat Queen which contained pepperoni and sausage in a red sauce. Both pizzas were delicious with distinctly different flavor profiles. The dough was thin and tasty with a puffy crust that was tasty in its own right. The contrast of arugula to prosciutto lent for a peppery salty combo of flavors enveloped in their tasty crust. The Fat Queen was just a deliciously meaty combo of flavors with the right proportion of sauce. I still can’t decide which one I like better as they were both so good. We sat at the counter and watched them assemble and bake in the amazing Neapolitan pizza oven. They really know what they are doing and knocking it out of the park, one after another. The owners stopped by every table and it was nice to chat about the flavors and what they are doing next. Definitely worth the drive from Austin for the wonderful experience of Pieous pizza. Update [July 2, 2025]: Even better than what I remembered from the first time! Had the House on Fire and The Fat Queen. Great flavors, great dough!

Delicious pizzas and salads. They have a sourdough crust which is so tasty I eat all the bones with the salad! The current location is more spacious than their original location with plenty of parking and an outside play area shared with the adjacent restaurant. Plenty of beverage choices, alcoholic and non, including herbal tea for those of us who don't caffeinate late. A private room for meetings or parties, and plenty of outdoor shaded seating. The desserts are very rich, but worth the splurge.

Bufalina Pizza is a popular spot in Austin, known for its handcrafted Neapolitan pies made with artisanal ingredients. Since opening in East Austin in 2013, it has become a go-to destination for pizza and natural wine enthusiasts. The restaurant's cool ambiance, featuring bare Edison bulbs and unfinished walls, adds to its underground clubhouse vibe.
Flavor on everything was absolutely exquisite! I felt like I was transported back to Italy, truly!!! The cacio e pepe was better than we had in Rome a couple years ago. They don’t take reservations for parties 4 and under, but we didn’t have a problem waiting on a Sunday night. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Austin!

This place serves one of the best Neapolitan pizza in Austin. The vodka and Fresca pizza we ordered came in with bubbly crust and rich sauce. We liked everything especially the decadent stracciatella and their extensive wine list
Jingqi Y — Google review
This was the best food we’ve ate while in Austin and also one of the best pizzas I’ve had in general. Thin dough, topped with good quality and fresh ingredients and most importantly it wasn’t greasy - as a whole it was a really good Neapolitan pizza. However I need to echo other reviews mentioning awful service, the owner who was serving us was quite rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. The restaurant was also super loud but we didn’t plan on staying for too long so it wasn’t a massive issue.
Aleksandra K — Google review
I'm between 3-4 stars for this place because I loved the pizza but the service was not 4 stars. We loved the mushroom pizza. It was the absolute perfect blend of toppings in my opinion. They serve a Neapolitan-style pizza —perfectly blistered crust, high-quality ingredients, and a menu that knows how to keep things simple and stellar. But the service? It borders on indifferent, and was timed not for our convenience but theirs. I was still chewing my last bite when they cleared the plates and they wiped the table while I was still eating though my partner had finished. You’ll get your food, but don’t expect warmth or much patience with questions. Still, the pizza is solidly delicious. Come for the pie, not the hospitality.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had, anywhere on earth. Ingredients were as fresh as can be and it didn't need to be served with a roll of antacids! Your nutz if you dont go try this place.

Delicious but the waiter was not kind. I said thank you one hundred times and I received not one “you are welcome” or acknowledgment. He poured water, he took our orders, he did his job but showed no kindness or a smile. That negatively impacted my experience. Furthermore I asked for hot sauce. He said we have chili oil. I said great. Then they bring me an unusually large amount of chili oil and I see at the very end a charge for $3 for chili oil. That is ridiculous. I won’t come back.

Went to Bufalina for happy hour for the first time and I can’t believe I’ve slept on this deal for so long. Happy hour is from 4 PM to 530 every day of the week. We arrived a few minutes before 4 PM and were among the first few groups to get seated. This is probably the key because the happy hour is so short. All wine bottles below $100 or half off all pizzas are half off which is quite a steal. We ordered the mushroom and the potato pizza and I would definitely get them again. The pizzas are good size and the dough is very fluffy. We also ordered some apps like the stracciatella which was mindblowingly good, had great balance with the tomato jam, cheese and balsamic. The Caesar salad was also amazing, we added the anchovies too. They have a few spots in their parking lot, but there’s also street parking too.

Cozy, Elevated, and Full of Flavor We had another amazing evening at Bufalina. The service was top-notch — friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations that really made the night. We started with the stracciatella, which was creamy and fresh, followed by the pappardelle pasta and a Margherita pizza with pepperoni — both absolutely delicious and made with clear care and quality ingredients. We ended with the coffee ice cream, which tasted like an affogato in the best way — rich, bold, and smooth. Bufalina is a quaint, intimate spot that delivers high-end flavor without feeling stuffy. Every dish felt intentional and well-crafted. Highly recommend for a relaxed but exceptional dining experience.

My husband and I came here for the pizza school to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was such an amazing experience! Everything we tried was outstanding — the salad, the meatballs, and of course the wine, which was absolutely delicious. The pizza we made honestly felt like the best we’ve ever had. We’ll always remember this day, and we’re so grateful to Desano for helping make our anniversary unforgettable. Highly recommend the pizza school experience!

The pizza was really good. The flavor was amazing and the pizza crust had a nice smokey, crunch. If the center of the pizza wasn't floppy, I would've given this place a 5 star. I like the bicycle theme inside and it's cool that you can see the chefs make the pizzas in the pizza ovens. We will definitely stop back by when we're in Austin again.

I loved the pizza, I understand the concept but just in case I want to mention it, if you're with a friend that does not eat beef or has dietary restrictions is kinda hard, cause they actually wear a shirt that says No chicken and 2 other things (don't remember) and don't even ask for them, if you do (my friend asked because it was our first time there and we didn't know) they just pointed to the shirt, I mean I get it but it was rude. Apart from that is a nice place, I liked the food.

I gave the 12" lasagna pizza a try, The crust here is more "floppy", but I didn't mind. Though you may want to let the pizza cool for a few minutes in order for the toppings not to slide off. Overall a fresh tasting pizza and the 12" was just enough for me, as the ricotta was rich and helps you stay full. Service was great as well, and I would return. 4.5/5

Great pizza place, very similar in style to the pizzas I get in Napoli. So if you want a close to real Italian feel, this is the place! They have a great happy hour also where select pizzas are half off every day from around 4:30-5:30. Totally worth it.

This gets so hard. As I’ve said, I think Google should change their rating system. I’ve been here a couple of times. Always good fun and nice atmosphere. I would probably rate the pizza a 4.4 if we had a rating system. I definitely think some of them could have benefited from a balsamic drizzle or a little added punch of flavor. The pasta was really good even though it didn’t look like much. All in all, it’s another Austin must try

I recently visited Bufalina Due with some friends, and it was a fantastic experience. We initially ordered two pizzas, but they were so delicious that we ended up ordering one more! The first pizza we tried had a perfect balance of flavors, with fresh ingredients and a beautifully charred crust that added a nice smokey flavor. The second pizza was equally delightful, with a rich, tangy tomato sauce and gooey, perfectly melted cheese. Our third pizza, which we ordered on a whim due to the amazing taste of the first two, did not disappoint either. The ambiance of Bufalina Due is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. The service was prompt and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. If you’re a pizza lover, Bufalina Due is a must-visit. The quality of their pizzas is exceptional, and the experience is well worth it. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy some of the best pizza around.

We stopped by Bufalina Due on a Sunday around 4 PM and were seated right away. A nice surprise—we learned they offer daily happy hour with $2 off draft beers, half-off select pizzas, and $8 house wines. Our server, Molly, was warm and attentive, making the whole experience seamless. We ordered the Caesar salad (9/10), cacio e pepe (7/10), and mushroom pizza (8/10). The mushroom pizza in particular stood out—rich, earthy, and full of flavor. The only drawback for me was that several dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Still, the quality, atmosphere, and service make Bufalina Due worth a visit!

Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. The ambiance and atmosphere were cozy and welcoming. The service was attentive, polite, and professional. Being from New England I really miss this style of pizza. One of the top pizzas I’ve had anywhere from Austin to New York City. Good quality ingredients and a perfectly cooked pizza. The pizza was so good I ordered a second one! The pasta is incredible!

This is an unassuming but lovely little restaurant. No harsh lighting or overwhelming music. Both times the food was incredible, exceeding expectations, and the service was perfect- kind and conscientious servers with diner experience at the forefront of their minds. The potato and leek pizza was a surprising favorite with our table. All the house pizzas we tried had subtle but complex flavor profiles that lingered and satisfied. I’ve been here several times, years apart, and each experience was consistent.

Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and it’s a good experience. We just walk-in without reservation and got seated immediately. The food was good. Calamari and the shrimp scampi are good as well as the chicken pesto🤌🏼✨ Although we didn’t like the pizza that we got i think it’s just too salty tbh. But overall, good dinner and happy tummy💖

Every North Italia I’ve visited, I’ve loved, and this location is no different. This location is in walking distance of the library and a few other places. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and tried the asparagus for the first time (which is also good). I prefer north Italia over the super “fancy” Italian places I’ve had. I’ve had their calamari, different pastas and pizza, everything spot on. The service is also really good too and each staff member is great!

Stopped in for some appetizers while on a little road trip. We had the calamari and Arancini. They are both served with an aioli and both are different and delightful in their own respects. I used both on each of the apps. The calamari comes with a little arugula salad on the plate and if you dont like heat. Don't eat it. However, I loooooved it. We also ordered the panna cotta for dessert. We were brought the most splendid spoon imaginable. It had a pleasant mouth feel, and as a neurodivergent individual, the mouth feel of a spoon is important when consuming a plate meant to ensnare the senses. I could not be more in love with it. As our server said, "That one is yummers" which i loved and told her I may be stealing that phrase, then she followed up with "Its a one way ticket to yumville, for sure''. It had a topping of fruit which I enjoyed but hubby said it didnt need it. I have to say its good with or without it but I must also note that having the fruit adds an extra layer of complexity that really elevates it.

Delicious food!! Such a beautiful atmosphere, and the service is amazing! Our server, Roan, was so kind, friendly, and recommended to me great dishes! I had the Key Lime Pie cocktail - it truly tasted just like a key lime pie, and it was super strong (great value!!) For my entree, I had the seared scallops, and it was such a wonderful meal. The scallops were perfectly tender and paired with the sweet corn risotto and the fried scallops so well 😭😭 My partner got the Seared Short Ribs and they were DELICIOUSSSSS! Lastly, for dessert, we had the Hazelnut Torta. It was crunchy, light, sweet but not too sweet, and overall a perfect dessert! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area - this will be our go-to Italian restaurant from now on! Huge thank you to Roan for taking such good care of our huge table and for being so kind, accomodating, and for your recommendations! You turned a 10/10 experience into a 1000/10 one! 🫶

Whether you're dining in or opting for takeout through online orders or delivery services like Favor, Marye's ensures a delightful experience with every bite.
This place makes 90%+ of their food from scratch. Most of it is organic. Lots of it is locally sourced. The pizza, salads, & canzones are the best that I've ever had in Austin. Multiple cheeses, & different types of milk make the cheese very good. The staff goes above & beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. The owners care a great deal about their staff & quality of food. Enjoy it.

Wow! I found this place by accident, and I’m SO happy that I can call it one of my favorite pizza spots in Austin! I’m from Chicago, but now living in the Austin area. Any full-blooded Chicagoan will tell you that the BEST pizza in Chicago is the traditional thin crust. The deep dish is good, but the overall favorite for a Chicagoan is the thin crust. Today, I had one of my BEST pizza experiences EVER! I ordered the Margherita with Italian sausage (the #1 pizza topping in Chicago). I was in heaven! Just writing this review 10 hours later has made me SO HUNGRY, that I told my wife I want to go back tomorrow! It’s THAT good! The staff was VERY friendly and patient with me ordering because it was my first time there. I was undecided at first because everything looked delicious! I was glad to meet the owners as we left! Great people! My kind of pizza, my kind of town!

I was just driving through the area when I spotted Marye’s Gourmet Pizza tucked into a cute little row of boutique shops. I only meant to check out the menu, but I ended up walking out with their Mother Load Pizza, & wow, it was seriously delicious. The place was super clean, well-organized, and had a really welcoming vibe. I didn’t know anything about it going in, but the staff made me feel right at home. They were super friendly and attentive the whole time. The pizza was so good, I actually went back later that same day for another one. The staff remembered me and greeted me right away, which was such a nice touch. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re in the area and looking for something new and tasty, definitely check this place out. Highly recommend!

Susan O, was absolutely the best part of this experience. She was extremely knowledgeable with the wines and helped our tables find the best options. She was also beyond patient helping us as we asked questions. She was so friendly and helpful and we will 100% come back just to see Susan!!

Haiku for Marye’s: Creative menu Healthy salads and Pizza Thanks for the great meal! This is a great lunch spot, if you are there with friends and want to share salads don’t do what we did and order full sizes. The half’s should cut it. The avocado dip was the appetizer I’ll definitely get again.

Hoboken Pie is a popular spot in a lively area, offering slices and pies with various toppings, from roast pork to vegan cheese. Open until midnight, it's a go-to for late-night cravings. Despite its no-frills vibe and appeal to the bar crowd, the New Jersey-inspired pies are delicious. The Danzig pie, featuring black olives, mushrooms, honey ham, and cheese, is particularly satisfying.
Stumbling upon Hoboken Pie in Downtown Austin was like discovering a hidden treasure after a long journey! We had just checked into our hotel, famished and weary, when we spotted this unassuming pizza spot. It was exactly what we needed—a place where you could just walk up to the window, grab a whole pizza, and head off to savor it wherever you pleased. We ordered The Butcher, and let me tell you, it was a pleasant surprise! The New Jersey-style pizza was topped with delicious, savory ingredients. However, we also tried the OG cheese bread, and I can't recommend that—it didn't quite hit the mark. But what truly made our visit special was the service. The person helping us was extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, making it the perfect way to start our Austin trip. If you find yourself hungry and in need of a quick, satisfying meal late at night, do yourself a favor and visit Hoboken Pie.

Ordered the September special pizza “bacon pear-adise” and their mission pizza. Both were absolutely beautiful. Lovingly crafted pizzas with edge to edge toppings. Soooo much flavor, definitely one of, if not, my favorite pizza spots in Austin!
Ameer H — Google review
It’s a really yummy pizza spot, but when it comes to getting additional ingredients I think they are very finicky on that part. I ordered the bigger size and I feel like there wasn’t enough chicken added for what I paid extra for. Plus the order is hardly ready at the time the online ordering tells you. I think those two things could improve. Other than that it is a decent spot.
Cherrel’s C — Google review
This pizza was delicious! We loved the crust, toppings were fresh and yummy. If I’d have read the reviews closer, I’d have seen that it was a window order only restaurant… so don’t make my mistake. Also, the one bad thing… it’s right around the corner from a homeless shelter. While we were waiting for the pizza, a couple of men were fighting in the street, and other homeless people were screaming at each other.

Defo will go again to try new pies. Best pizza in Austin so far. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food and the people were super nice. Pizza even warmed up well the next day when I didn’t finish. The only thing better than the cheesy garlic knots was my beautiful girlfriend next to me to share them with.

I’m giving one star, because this place is SO GOOD I don’t want y’all all to go and make a line. Seriously, the staff were so friendly. The pizza was dayyyyuuuummm good! Our first time, but not the last! Cheers to my cajun cousins at Family Business for sharing this place. Hellz yeah recommend and twice on Wednesday. (Hint hint iykyk)

Stopped by Hoboken Pie after the UT game this past Saturday with my family and the pizza was delicious and so were the Garlic Knots. Might be the best pizza I had in town. And I want to shout out the manager Scott who was very helpful and patient as it was our first time here, his customer service was great even during a busy weekend as it turned out it was their grand re-opening. The atmosphere and the vibes was nice! Will definitely comeback.

Ordered online. Took over a hour and my order was incorrect with no way to reach the store for a resolution. Also, the best thing we ordered were the garlic knots and we ordered a pizza... so that says a lot. The pizza was mediocre at best, great marketing to trick people into thinking this is related to NYC pizza.

Via 313 Pizza is a local pizzeria chain that has gained popularity for its Detroit-style pizzas with a variety of creative toppings. The Detroit-style pizza is known for its square shape, allowing patrons to savor the corner pieces with ample crust. Celebrating your birthday at Via 313 comes with special treatment, including a signed card from the staff and a complimentary dessert like Superman Ice Cream.
If you’re allergic to gluten, as I am, and want food that tastes good…like actual bread, then RUN, don’t walk, to Via313. I have never eaten gluten free anything and had to wonder if a mistake had been made. This is hands down, the BEST pizza dough EVER! And I took a lot home and put it in the air fryer three days later and it was still PERFECTION! There’s a reason it was voted one of the best gluten free pizza dough in the US because it is!! Our server Emma was also a delight! So helpful for me because I have so many food allergies and she was knowledgeable and helped me choose two different pizzas which were both incredible! My friend also commented that this is now his favorite pizza. I look forward to eating here forever and ever.

Got the monthly special, chicken fajita! The service was great and loved the atmosphere. They let me have a coloring kit lol 😼 The food was so yummy and I devoured it as soon as possible (be wary of burning your mouth from impatience). Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

Easily the BEST gluten pizza I have ever eaten! I have celiac disease and felt completely safe after speaking to our server. Atticus N. was very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Super friendly atmosphere:) Manager came over to check on us as well and shared information about the history of the restaurant and other locations. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Went in to order pizza to go somewhere that had vegan options & was pleasantly surprised at the pizza. My son's meaty pie was almost completely devoured immediately & he loved everything about it, something he rarely does as a picky eater. My veggie pie with vegan cheese was generously covered with veggies & cheese & the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere when we went in on a Tuesday night was chill & quiet & the guy that took our order was friendly & helpful. Next time we're in Austin, we'll definitely be back!

Nice local pizza franchise (that's expanding) that specializes in Detroit style pizza. Deep dish, but in squares, and sauce on top of toppings/cheese. Good caramelized edges of crust and cheese, nice chewy thick crust, good cheese and toppings with nice rich tomatoe-y sauce. Overall great pizza

Excellent pizza, great service, and relaxing atmosphere. Ordered the herbivore pizza with ice tea. Crust on the pizza was perfect and the toppings were amazing. Waiter was helpful and attentive. For ending the meal on a sweet note got the dessert pizza. Inside the place was nicely decorated, relaxing, big screen TVs, and cool air conditioning. Great place to enjoy super good pizza. 👍

One of my favorite pizza spots. Love their Detroit style pizzas. My favorite is the ambassador. I enjoy the creaminess of ricotta, the garlic they add on top and the crispy cupped pepperoni. Their dough had a great rise and chew, had a crispy bottom and a nice crispy cheesy edge. The marinara they put on top is fresh tasting and not too acidic. We sat outside on the patio because we had our dogs with us. Christian was our server and he took great care of us. He brought water out for the pups and was very attentive. Great service and great food. Regularly take out of town guests who have never tried Detroit style pizzas.

Sammataro is a popular spot in Austin, offering a variety of New York-style pies. The unassuming white food truck on the East Side of Austin serves Neapolitan pies with a perfect balance of chewy and crispy crust. The dough is fermented for 48 hours and topped with homemade tomato sauce, delicious cheeses, basil, and various toppings.
Top-Tier Pizza – One of the Best in Austin We stopped by Sammataro Pizza today and ordered a straight-up pepperoni pie — and it absolutely delivered on all fronts. The crust was perfectly blistered and airy, the sauce was bright and flavorful, and the cheese blend balanced it all beautifully. The pepperoni had just the right amount of crisp and spice, making every bite memorable. It’s easy to see why this food truck has built such a loyal following. The attention to detail and ingredient quality really shine through. It’s up there with the best pizza in Austin, hands down. Great vibes, friendly staff, and seriously excellent pizza. We’ll definitely be back.

I super love this place. The pizza tasted like a dance party in my mouth and heart. Combined with the romantic setting and the wine shop, it felt like Cupid shot me with a pizza-shaped arrow. We got the Classic Pie with pepperoni added. The only thing I didn’t love was the amount of flop in the pizza. It was a bit too greasy and soft for my taste. I’ll always recommend this place, and I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again.
Dave L — Google review
9.2/10. Banger Pizza; the ingredients are phenomenal. Specifically, the pepperoni cups crisped up and cupped the delicious oil. Despite being oily on top, it wasn’t disgustingly heavy. It looks as good as it tastes! You’re gonna be spending $25-40 for a pizza depending on what you get/add. Water didn’t complimentarily come with this meal.
Steven N — Google review
Come for the amazing pizza, stay for the beautiful atmosphere. A magical little spot to see out the last of the days sun. Pizza was a traditional Neapolitan style. Lovely thin base, puffy crispy crust and gorgeous fresh toppings. All top off with delicious drinks for the local wine bar also on site.

Dave Portnoy gave it a 7.9 and later revised it to 8.1. We ordered the vodka pizza and rated it a 7.7, also a high score. Very good pizza and some of the best you’ll find in Austin. They make it in a wood-fired oven in their food truck and it takes about 25min. The cheese, sauce, and undercarriage were excellent. I just wish the crust was more airy and crispy. The homemade ranch was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Mathias A — Google review
Legit pizza in downtown Austin. They have a trailer and separate structure that has limited seating and bathroom inside. There is also plentiful outdoor seating available. The parking situation was confusing a bit. Last time, we parked nearby and walked over. Staff were friendly and cool. One of my husband’s main food groups is pizza and he absolutely loves this place and I concur! As a person who doesn’t like pepperoni I would eat pepperoni on their pizza anytime as they were perfectly crisp and delicious 👌🏻🤤 We love their pizza but it’s a bit costly and the location is kind of far from our house so we only stop by when we’re in the area. All in all, highly recommended if you haven’t checked them out yet!

As close to technically perfect for a NY-style pizza you will find in Austin. The below photos were taken 9 mins apart, I did share some crust with the dogs, but I wish I had eaten slower to enjoy it.

Conan’s Pizza is a true Austin gem—a perfect mix of “Keep Austin Weird” and delicious deep-dish pizza. The moment you step inside, it feels like you’ve traveled back to 1985, with fantasy artwork straight out of an Arnold Schwarzenegger-era Conan movie. The retro vibes, dim lighting, and quirky décor make for a one-of-a-kind atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. But let’s talk about the pizza—thick, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The deep-dish is a must-try, with a buttery crust that holds up to the generous toppings. The Savage is a personal favorite! Service is friendly and laid-back, just like the Austin spirit. If you’re looking for an old-school, local spot with character (and great pizza), Conan’s is it. A must-visit for anyone who loves Austin’s weird side and a great slice!

BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA IN TEXAS! (and to me the world.) As a wee lad my mom would always bring me here every time we came to Austin. Now I bring my wife here every time we're even close to Austin. Once I was near San Antonio heading back to central Texas, and I made an hour detour just to grab a deep dish Savage. (The same thing my mom and I would order.) i even sit in the same booth, every time in memory of her. Keep it real Conans

If I could give any restaurant a "golden buzzer" it would be this one. This is life changing. I developed a dairy allergy as an adult, and that sucks when you love pizza. I've discovered that when buying dairy free stuff, it's almost always gluten free. I came here and ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and 🥹 it was the best pizza I've had in a very long time. I was scared at first because the cheese isn't your typical unmelting vegan cheese. It looks real, but, I did not have an allergic reaction. (Sorry for the photo, this is all I had left, I devoured this)

I've been eating at Conans for my whole life. I now live in Oregon, but I always have to stop here when I'm visiting home. The deep dish I had last night was as delicious as ever, with perfectly melted cheese. Oh, and the Cosmic Salad! Absolutely my favorite salad, especially with the bleu cheese dressing. The employees here are also very friendly, and I love the decor. I'll be dreaming of this pizza when I'm back in Oregon...
Heather K — Google review
I’ll be completely honest, I hadn’t been to Conan’s since high school and I wanted to take my non-Austinite husband just because the vibe is so fun and unique, but we were impressed by the delicious pizza! I keep saying I’m not a big fan of Detroit style, I’m not a big fan of deep dish, but I just need to realize I love good pizza doesn’t matter the type XD We got a 10” Barbarian and it was plenty for the 2 of us. It was hot, absolutely stuffed with toppings, juicy (yeah that’s a weird pizza description but it was) and oh so satisfying! I don’t know how well the leftover piece will hold up and I don’t think I’d order it delivered, but fresh out of the oven it was delicious. The vibe of course was exactly what I had promised my husband, don’t take your kiddos if you are worried about them finding barely covered breasts in the table decor lol! The restaurant was pretty dead when we arrived but staff was friendly and attentive. We didn’t play any of the arcade games but it’s a fun option! My only very small complaint is the very limited beer menu, but no stars off for that it is what it is. I’ll definitely be back!
Sarah C — Google review
We’ve been coming here for 40 years! We live in Dallas now and have even driven up just for the day to come get some pizza from Conan‘s and come home ha ha! There is no other place like it. It’s like an old hole in the wall in there, but we have so much fun looking at all the art. And the salad as simple as it is is literally the best salad ever we’ve always been trying to figure out what makes it so good and haven’t quite done it yet! The pizza is nice and thick and one of a kind we love it here

Simply the best deep dish pizza I have eaten, period. The young lady at the counter was super friendly, though not great at math. The pie takes a 15-20 minutes, but it is VERY worth the wait. Also, they have PINBALL!!! It had been a year since I'd been there, and it hasn't changed a bit. Same amazing pizza.

Staff was friendly. Pizza was a bit too greasy and acidic for my taste. So acidic that I had extreme acid reflux almost instantly - which I pretty much never have with pizza. Loved our experience here! Great seating and service. Love the vibe and atmosphere. You get seated by the staff and when you're ready to order, the waiter will take your drink orders and you order your food at the counter where the kiosk is. They will take your order and put it in. Stop looking, this is where you should eat. I’m a major pizza lover and this was the second best pizza I’ve ever had (only behind a pizza place in Europe). We got the salami pizza and added roasted garlic and it was amazing. We were only in town for 24 hours for my best friends funeral and they offered us complimentary dessert without even knowing why we were there which helped lift the mood. The tiramisu was also amazing! We had some cocktails, no surprise they were also good. Shoutout to Adam the manager for making our one night in austin great!

I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Austin! You'll love the atmosphere here with a huge outdoor patio, amazing staff, and delicious food. I was in town for the No Longer Virtual Summit and met up here with some of our group to kick off the event. We had a large group on top of an already busy Superbowl Sunday, yet the staff took amazing care of everyone. Friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. Zach was our guy! The cocktails were delicious as well as the selection of local beers on tap. Every bite of food was spot on. We shared a Margherita pizza, arugula salad, and the sweet potato bites. Then added some of the wings they had on the special menu for the game. Delicious! Bring your family, meet friends here, or grab pizzas to go. You won't be disappointed. P.S. Sorry, no food pics because it looked so good I couldn't wait to dig in!

The pizza selection is not too shabby either, def ample space for large groups, only one tea refill though this is Texas y'all, give us more tea refills. Being from the East coast and always looking for a good pizza, I decided to try this place. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs. I thought it would be loaded with meat but was very disappointed. Why be stingy with the toppings when someone is paying $23 for a pizza? The crust took up 1/3 of the pizza where there could have been more pizza and toppings. I also ordered a large cheese steak. It was pretty good. Close to what I had growing up in Philadelphia. I had it simple with provalone, mushrooms and no onions. Would have gotten more toppings on a DiGiorno pizza for $5.99.

Nice pizza spot with welcoming service and fresh pies. I normally stick to my pepperoni but it was happy hour so I tried the Sweet & Spicy for $10. This is a soft crust pie with a good balance of ingredients. The sweet and spicy came through perfectly. I also tried the Philly Special which has double meat with a side of hot pepper sauce. The hot pepper sauce is amazing. The philly was good, you barely have to chew the meat. It was flavorful. Next time I'll try the Original so I can get the veggies on there. The crust of the pizza and bread on the sandwich were both top tier. I'll return when in the area. The customer service was great. Pro tip its an older building so the front bar area doesn't have any cool arlir flowing. Go to the back corner if coming during the summer months there is cool air back there.

Note: Maybe you wonder about my recommendations sometimes. I am here to definitively tell you, with absolutely certainty, that Grata's has the BEST Philly Cheesesteak in the city. With no disrespect to R&Bs and Hoody's - I really liked their sandwiches - but Grata's, they are the king! My Philly boy and I visited Grata's for lunch today, and we were greeted outside by Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers flags and a sign that said: I ❤️ Philadelphia PA. Inside was more Philly memorabilia in a bar setting. Grata's is definitely a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that has a bar. We ordered three different sandwiches, including the Grata Original [cheeseteak] and the Philly Special [larger cheesesteak]. We also had to try their Italian sub because I was told it would rival the Homeslice Italian Sub that I have been touting as best in the city. And yes, Little Deli and Pizzeria has a good one too, but it's not quite as good. I went with white American cheese on my Grata's Original. It was melted throughout the sandwich, so that each gooey bite was a perfect blend of steak, onions, peppers, and cheese. The cheesesteaks at Grata's are served on Liscio's rolls ordered directly from Philadelphia. Similar to Amoroso rolls, Liscio's provides that perfect crunch when you take each bite. My buddy Mike's double meat, double cheese (Provolone and whiz) sandwhich was a beast. See the pictures for the differences between the two. They went big with a ton of ribeye meat on that bad boy. He said this is the new "go-to" place for his hometown-favorite sandwich. Now for our other choice, we elected to go with Grata's The Big Dom over their Brandywine Gourmet Italian because it added a fourth meat, prosciutto, in addition to the Genoa Salami, prosciuttini ham and capicola, plus Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and oil with Italian spices. The Big Dom is served cold, similar to Little Deli's. The difference is that the amount of meat and other fixings on the sub is even more generous. There was a little too much lettuce on it, but once I removed a bit, it was perfect. Normally, Mike and I will add mayo on our Itlalian subs, but we forgot, and despite this omission, the sub was still very moist, and the olive oil and spice blend really shone through. Overall, it was an exceptional visit to Grata's. Service was perfect. If you're a Philly guy or gal, you will love the place. Go during football season and watch the Eagles defend their title. Not a sports fan, but you love those ribeye sandwiches, run as fast as you can there. They are the real deal!

grata’s is a very solid choice for cheesesteaks and pizza in the austin area. the location has fun vibes too, with friendly servers and plenty of tvs. i definitely would go back because who can have enough cheesesteaks?!

Neat, quirky, Austiny place. Food was good. Price was decent. As soon as we got the bill tho we felt like they were kicking us out. We were just chillin, but it seemed like they were rushing.

I think I found my new favorite local watering hole. I just moved to South Austin and came here on a whim. Super dog friendly when it’s not game day. The Philly cheesesteak was so good. And my waiter, Lorenzo, made me feel right at home. Love this place and can’t wait to try the pizzas!

Roppolo’s Pizzeria West Campus is a must-visit for those craving authentic Sicilian pizza. The family-owned pizzeria exudes an Italian ambiance, complete with family photos adorning the walls. The pizzas are hailed as some of the best, boasting fresh vegetables, expertly blended sauces, and flavorful crusts. Customers rave about the generous toppings on their pies, making it a standout among other campus pizzerias.
𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. The best thing I can say about this place is that it scratches the itch. If you’re craving good, hot, solid pizza- this is the spot. I went late - around closing time and was given a complimentary Jalapeño Roll. It was hot and welcome when I was only expecting a delicious slice of pizza. So, not only was the service excellent, the food was great to back it up. The size of the slice I got was huge - about the size of 2 or 3 regular sized pizzas from Dominoes or Papa John’s. I appreciated this place and I hope you guys will as well.
Tubosun O — Google review
Pizza was okay. My friend placed a pick up order so I don’t know how much it was. We were craving pizza, it was on the way. Plus apparently people rave about Roppolo’s, so why not give it a chance? Can’t go wrong with pizza. We get there it’s ready for pick up and fresh. Personally my only issue is that the tomatoes sauce was off and the dough itself kinda tasted like cardboard. Overall I’m neutral.

I want to take a moment to recognize Evan and the entire crew at Roppolo’s West Campus — because when I see quality, I call it out, and what they deliver here is rare. Their presence is strong, their work ethic shows in every interaction, and they consistently hold it down at a high level. As a New York Jew who knows two things better than most — good pizza and good bagels — I don’t hand out compliments in this category lightly. And that’s exactly why Roppolo’s will always be numero uno here in ATX. I’ll be the first to admit I can be a little particular when it comes to food — I like my pizza super well done — and they always go out of their way to make sure I’m happy before that plate hits the counter. That attention to detail and genuine care is what sets them apart. They don’t just serve pizza; they set a standard. And let’s be real — $3 slices Monday through Friday from 3–5 PM? You can’t beat that, especially with the size of each slice. Evan and the team deserve recognition for the pride they put into what they do every single day.

When 6th Street is not your thing......The West Campus Guadalupe is your location!!! Go see Cory and the Awesome Crew.

This is our 2nd time eating here and Roppolo's was just as fabulous and delicious as the first time. Last time, we ordered by the slice which are huge slices that range from $4.50-$5.50...we ordered the special this time which was a 16" margherita pizza for $9.99.. it was so fresh and we remembered why we came back. They have daily lunch specials, and a Happy Hour Mon-Fri 3-5pm, which is a 14" slice and domestic beer for only $3. I noticed there are signs promoting that they now have "Halal Pizza Options" as well. They take cash, credit and debit.

This place is awesome. Their $10 16’ pepperoni is absolutely amazing. Being a college student, I get it at least once a week and it’s enough for multiple meals. Tasty pizza for a great price.
Aaron G — Google review
A restaurant that reminds me of the college atmosphere and vibe. Pizza sizes are very large and tasty. They have several combos under $6 which is a great value. Pizzas are reheated in less than 3 minutes. Limited parking in the back of the restaurant.

I know college kids are young not very professional but the young guy kept grabbing at his nose and grabbing it and grabbing it. Never washed his hands .but to make this review about the food it was disgusting the entire time I drove back to my hotel I was just wondering how in the world do they have 4 stars . I am a big foodie and I was mislead this pizza was the second nastiest I have ever had.

Gluten-free restaurant
Austin's Pizza Greystone is a take-out and delivery-focused gem that specializes in delicious pizzas, offering both gluten-free and vegetarian options to cater to diverse dietary preferences. This establishment has made a significant impact on the local community, notably by raising $4,000 for Hundred For Hospitality during the challenging times of COVID-19. This initiative aimed to support laid-off service industry workers by providing meals from Austin restaurants, ultimately contributing over $15,000 back into the local economy.
So I didn’t get a picture of the wings. They were chowed down to quickly and an empty box doesn’t do them Justice. But this pizza!!! So I’m from San Antonio and I can’t find pizza like this there. I find taco restaurants everywhere. So I ordered this with regular crust and it’s much thinner then I expected from pizzas like San Antonio offers. But it still holds nice. I can’t imagine what thin crust feels like. Delivery was quicker then website said so that’s a plus. If your looking for a pizza place this is where I would recommend!! Supporting them when they cook like this is a no brainer!! Thanks for dinner Austin’s Pizza :) Fyi I got the mopac pizza with basil pesto sauce not the traditional tomato sauce and I’m glad I did. Not real acidic and the flavor is amazing!!

Won't be back. Paid for 4 toppings only got 2. When I called to let them know, they said they could give a discount next time instead of replacing it or giving a portion of my money back. The pizza was dry and cold. The marinara was also cold. I guess they keep it refrigerated. All together, the food tasted like it was a day old. Pretty gross. Gave some to my dog, and the rest went in the garbage.
Victoria P — Google review
Ordered 2 large pepperonis to go. Flavor of the pizza was fine - pretty average and nothing to complain about. But this was the greasiest pizza I have had in recent memory. Pepperoni is naturally a little greasy as a topping but this was a lot. Grease actually pooled and dripped out of the side of one of the boxes. The picture posted is from the next morning and you can see where it pooled and ran out of the side and how bits of pizza are literally glued to the box by the grease. 3 stars because the pizza doesn’t taste bad, didn’t make me sick, and I had a sweet coupon but minus 2 stars because the pizza floated here in its own grease.
Will T — Google review
Awful, awful pizza. I don’t know how this place is in business. First, I ordered delivery through Uber eats and the pizza was delivered in under 15 minutes of placing the order (how could two large pizzas be made to order and delivered that quickly). Second, I ordered one of the BOGO specials and learned quickly that it is a scam (they only discount the base price of the second pizza, and you pay for toppings on each of the pizzas.. so it would only really be BOGO if they are both plain cheese pizzas). Lastly the quality of the pizza was shocking. I could walk into any local high school and find better pizza in the cafeteria.

Will never order anything from Austin's Pizza ever again after today. Got my order of pizza rolls and cheese bread and it wasn't even cooked. How do you mess something up as easy as that?
Justin F — Google review
This is not an issue with this location, but Austin’s Pizza’s choice to use Door Dash as the delivery method. I ordered for delivery and never got my order because a delivery driver with Door Dash stole my order. My order tracker stated it was still at the restaurant & multiple drivers attempted to pick up after it was stolen. I called the store and they said it happens often with door dash specifically. Maybe stop using door dash to deliver. Or just start handing out $50 worth of pizza to Door Dash drivers who want a free meal.

This is a delivery-only place for Austin's Pizza. Their pizza is good, although not great, and you can ask for their thin crispy crust, which is a bit better I think. They dont have anchovies?! And they should be open later.

This quaint Italian cafe near the Capitol offers a variety of pizzas, entrees, and a tasting menu. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting with tile walls, soft light, and wooden accents. Some of the highlights include wood-fired focaccia and Neapolitan-style pies.
Luckily we made a reservation because it was very busy when we arrived. We liked the bustling atmosphere. It emptied out as it got to closing. Service was friendly and attentive. The pizza was wonderful. The pasta was very blah tasting and under seasoned until we had the server get us a lot of Parmesan cheese and then it was delicious. Cheesecake and gelato were good. Disappointed that the bread basket had to be paid for - usually Italian restaurants of this price point provide that complimentary.
RES R — Google review
We both enjoy the food, ambiance, and service. Friendly staff and after dinner, they do have good espresso & good option for desserts. Parking for downtown is not that hard to find. Price is reasonable and good size portion too.
Nyan M — Google review
Got there for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was reasonably full. I was seated immediately at the bar. Asked for a wine, but it tasted and smelled a little old. The bar tender was nice enough to give me a taste of a couple of other wines and I picked one I liked (Super Tuscan). Got a Caprese Salad. It was OK. A lot of tomatoes, some mozzarella and literally one leaf of Basil. Had to ration that Basil leafy for each bite of the salad!! Also ordered a Pizza. The crust was thin but overall the pizza was average at best. Also got a dessert, brownie something and I suggest best not to order it. I enjoyed the ambiance (4-stars) and the service (5-Stars), but the food left a lot to be desired.

Holy cow! This place was absolutely amazing! Best pizza I've had in a long time! I can't remember which pizza i got bc the waitress recommended it (its the one with arugula on it) I wasnt sure I would like it bc it had prosciutto on it but wow. Husband is a picky eater but Loves pizza. He was worried about it not being up to his standard of pizza hut lol but he also enjoyed it. He just got a regular Pepperoni Pizza. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, they also had the governor there but we were still able to get our food in a timely manner.

In our opinion this is the best authentic Italian food in Austin! It’s well priced, has a great atmosphere and the service was too.

By far, the best Italian food in Austin! Trust me when I say you can’t get any better, I’d almost say in Texas. We ordered the Meatballs, they literally just melted in your mouth, unreal. Shared the large Caesar salad, I’ve had salads from $20-$40 and this one beats it by a mile! I ordered the Chicken Parm, my better half ordered the Rigatoni Truffle Sausage… taste, was unprecedented… and dessert, of course we couldn’t leave without a taste of cheesecake! I can’t wait till we go back, next we’re trying Pizzas!
Greg L — Google review
The most Authentic we've found in Austin. Excellent service, the staff was amazing. We each had pizzas, if you're hungry they're just enough for one. You could easily split one between two, that just leaves more room for dessert. We had tiramisu and it. Was. Amazing. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back. If you're having a night out downtown this is a great place to start. Grazie!

Asked a local where the best pizza was and they sent us here. Pizza was fantastic, we ordered 3 kinds and loved them all. Do note.... this restaurant felt like fine dining so did not dress appropriately compared to everyone's nice dresses, suits, and polo's. Our flip flips, shorts and tanks definitely stood out. Oops! Staff were kind and accommodated our toddler w a high chair.

Roppolo's is a small pizza restaurant with seating outdoors on 6th Street. It's well-known for its Sicilian style pizza, and it's popular for late night eats. The pizza is really delicious, and the service is friendly and welcoming.
I dropped in here (well, dropped im for takeaway) several times. It only opens early evening, but keeps going until the small hours. The pizzas are fabulous, and after a few visits, this being my first visit to Austin, I felt very welcomed. Very tasty! 🍕

Great spot to get food around 9 PM on 6th street. The pizza slice was very big and the crust had a crisp to it, which was really nice. In the back, there was seating area that made you feel like you were in New York, which was pretty cool. The people working there were super nice, and had a great attitude.
Regina K — Google review
It’s a good street pizza. I think their storefront location close to campus tastes better, but still better than a chain pizza. Service was great… but it is pricey. I think it was like $7 for one slice. But hey when you don’t have competition you can charge it. And if you don’t want to eat there, don’t. I’m sure the rent for that location is extremely expensive
Danielle F — Google review
Late night pizza place when hanging out on 6th Street. Great- quick service. Reasonable pricing. The crust was a little chewy for my liking, however it tasted really good. Overall for some quick food and a nice big slice- I'd totally come here. Many different options in their cases. Yes, they do reheat the pie when you order. Although, it seemed to be done in an actual oven and not in a microwave or anything like that.

Wow wow wow one bite-everybody knows the rules! This pizza size was incredible! Served on a busy 6th street in downtown Austin. 2 locations right down the street from each other makes sense because it’s busy and very good pizza. Great undercarriage, no flop, crispy and piping hot pizza served in clsssic pepperoni, meat lovers, Hawaiian and a bunch of others. At $6.50 a slice it’s expensive, but worth it. I wanted to try an entire pie.

Numero28 is a charming Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas. This rustic mini-chain is known for its Neapolitan pizzas and antipasti served in a cozy setting with a wood-fired oven and a lovely patio. The pizzeria takes pride in its meticulous product selection and the pizza recipe that has been passed down through five generations of master pizza makers.
What an incredible spot! The salads, pasta, and pizza were absolutely amazing—truly authentic flavors that reminded me of my travels through Italy. It’s rare to find such genuine Italian taste in the U.S., but this place nails it. The service was outstanding: friendly, fast, and attentive. The ambience and style also perfectly captured that warm, authentic Italian vibe. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Austin area looking for a real taste of Italy!

Numero 28 specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizza, and they do it so well! I had the 12-inch Diavola pizza, which is topped with spicy salami and cut into 6 slices. The crust was soft and chewy and the ingredients tasted so fresh and high-quality. I even reheated my leftovers the next day in the oven and they held up beautifully. I also enjoyed a refreshing Hugo spritz. They have select brunch cocktails for $8 — definitely check the brunch menu to see which ones are included (the Hugo spritz, sadly, is not). Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Southern Italian cuisine in downtown Austin!

Great place with a lot of atmosphere however that was as far as it went. The was worst bruschetta I've had; the bread wasn't even toasted and the 🍕 although oven fired was soggy. I wouldn't recommend if your going for the food. I guess I expected more from this little pizza place than they could offer.

Great Italian food, drinks and great service. We had the Prosciutto di Parma con Bufalo Mozzarella, Taglieri de la Casa, Spaghettial All'Amatriciana and the Penne Boscaiola. Every thing was perfect although I did recommend the prosciutto be served with roasted red peppers. Our bartender Brandon was EXCELLENT! Very personable and as tourist from Boston, by the way which has no shortage of great Italian restaurants, Brandon was very helpful offering lots of suggestions on what to do in Austin. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE!

We didn't have to wait long to be seated. We got a table inside. The waiter was nice, but due to the noise level, it was difficult to hear him, especially since there was a language barrier. We got the Rustica and Cacio E Pepe. The pizza was good. The crust was very light and tasty. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't very good. It was undercooked and didn't have enough salt. It's as if they didn't cook it long enough to be al dente and absorb the salt. The place is small so the tables were very close together. Due to the small space, it was uncomfortably warm, and that's coming from someone who's usually cold everywhere we go.

Atmosphere is good! Feelt like Europe! Food is authentic as they advertise! However I went there for this specific pasta that gets served in a cheese wheel and that dish was not good it was way too salty I couldn’t even eat it! But the lasagna was pretty good! I go to il brutto at least once a month for the past year and love to bring new friends here for the best aperitivo / happy hour in town. Food wise, my favorite items currently on the menu are the burrata pizza, cozze, bottarga + sea urchin pasta, and their house made sorbetto. However, I’m most impressed with their drink menu, including one of the most beautiful vermouth selections I’ve ever seen!! I like to sit at the bar; Liz, Juan, Jay, and Adan have always treated us with the utmost care, provide heavenly drink pairing recommendations, and really know their vermouth. Also, join their new vermouth club!

I came here for a birthday dinner with my husband, my parents, and my father-in-law and we had the great fortune of being served by Joshua for the evening. From start to finish, every bit of our experience was wonderful and Joshua was the perfect shepherd for our Il Brutto journey. We had a lot of semi-chaotic opinions and desires from the table, and Joshua helped us find the best path forward. Highlights of the meal included the prosciutto plate (and the nut-free basil (!!)), the ribeye (12/10), the agnolotti (brown butter, incredible), the bread service, the semifreddo (pickled strawberries? Amazing), and the gelato (the best pistachio ice cream/gelato I’ve ever heard AND best chocolate ice cream/ gelato I’ve ever ever had). Great amaro selection as well! Would absolutely return here for a date night, special occasions, or just a delicious meal for no particular reason. And would have course be delighted to have Joshua as our server again.

My wife and I always enjoy going to Mangieri’s. We usually get a fresh salad and split a pizza but the pasta entrees are good too. They recently refreshed the interior color palette and it looks calm and relaxing ( no more vibrant red paint ).

I really like the crust! Otherwise the Sicilian pizza was fine. The Caesar salad was a little overdressed for me, but decent. The sauvignon blanc I had was super cold which I was very appreciative of. The atmosphere at the bar on a Sunday 7pm was super dead, but it was fine because they had baseball on. The woman who served me at the bar had a great level of service. The portion size was perfect and the food came out fast. But overall, it was just a pizza place in my mind.

My wife and I have been visiting Mangieri's for over 2-years. We go there mainly for a light lunch. Our favorite dish is the lunch special pomodoro pasta that is served with a small bowl of salad and one slice of garlic toast. We love this dish--it is tasty and is always the same! "Calm" is perhaps the right word to describe the atmosphere. We have always been served with politeness and respect, as one would expect in any restaurant. Most recently we were served,on two occasions, by Mr Russel. He is a real nice guy, Listens carefully to our special requests and serves well. I am aware of the challenges restaurants are facing in today's times. I sincerely hope Mangieri's continues serving the community forever. I wish the very best for this restaurant.

We ordered the beef lasagna yesterday and were very disappointed. There was barely any beef, almost none at all. Very little cheese as well. It was basically just pasta with a lot of sauce. The sauce itself had a strange, slightly bitter taste, more like a bouillon cube or MSG than a homemade sauce. Unfortunately, this dish did not meet our expectations at all.

I had an amazing experience here. The pesto pasta was rich and flavorful, the pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with delicious toppings, and both the fried mozzarella and cheese bread were the perfect starters—crispy, cheesy, and comforting. Great food, great service—I’ll definitely be back!

We are regulars here and always enjoy it. The prices are very reasonable, the food is very good, and the service is excellent (thanks, Robert!). We usually have one of their great salads and a Supremo pizza. The "Whiskey Business" cocktail is our favorite and they have a very good selection of wines for half price on Wednesdays. Nice patio for outdoor dining. Highly recommended!

BEST pizza. They made me a shroom pizza with the ingredients on hand even though it's no longer on the menu. It was DELICIOUS.

We were debating whether they’re going to cici’s pizza Domino’s Pizza Hut or MOD, and luckily and thankfully, my 18-year-old daughter who by the way had had just had a birthday said let’s go to MOD so I said OK cool and I am so glad we went because it was very very delicious. All the ingredients were very fresh very savory and tasty. everything was Great And I would highly recommend that you try out this place!

I ordered the Build Your Own Salad from “MOD Fresh” on the delivery app, and I was surprised that there wasn’t the option to add hard-boiled egg nor avocado. Those are two very common salad toppings. Otherwise, the salad was good, but not sure if I’ll order again.

I ordered online this was my first time to try MOD pizza not impressed very bad impression. There is only cheese on 2 pieces not only that but there is only 7 pepperonis I paid 20 for this order probably will not be back

Great Mod location! I love that I can have exactly the right stuff on my pizza! Lots of options including cauliflower crust and garlic pesto sauce. Hard working staff!

My husband and I love MOD Pizza! We always have good pizza there and today I thought the staff was especially friendly (they're always friendly). It's a fun atmosphere and the prices are really reasonable. We usually get 11 inch pizzas (each), eat half and then the other half for another meal. I love being able to choose whatever toppings you want (and there are so many choices!) I get the gluten-free crust and it's really good! They also have vegan cheese options available. Try it and you will be hooked! p.s. No dogs allowed inside... Those pictures of my dogs are from home.🐕

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Downtown Austin, Spartan Pizza is a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking that classic NYC-style slice. This charming eatery on the lively 6th Street offers a delightful selection of specialty pizzas, sandwiches, and salads in a bright and airy space. The standout feature here is their thin yet chewy crust that perfectly complements an array of toppings.
Stopped by here on my own without the wife as she's tired of my search for great pizza. I really enjoyed the Hercules pizza I ordered--the crust really stood out as it's thin but chewy and not some wafer. There are some cute tables out front if you want to brave the heat--and they are shaded. Inside there were 5 seats and I elected for one of those in the A/C. They make your pizza right there in front of you...it's pretty transparent--even the oven is right there. You can even grab a beer or soda if you prefer. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and were genuinely interested in seeing me enjoy my meal. Everything feels clean, too. I can safely give 5 stars to a place that won't break the bank and fills a small niche for what is the best of thin crust pizza in Austin.
Eric B — Google review
There is too much semolina on the bottom of the pizza dough, I recommend using a pizza tray instead because it made the bottom hard And little burnt taste. The sauce is like tomato paste, especially when cooked, it dried out and the tomato flavor is lost. I tried Hades pizza, I was expecting italian sausage(protein) as the main ingredient, but it was more pepper flakes and lots of herbed ricotta cheese. Maybe some people like this style, I respect it but it's not my style.

Popped in while walking past. Quick and friendly service-dude was great. Ate at the outside tables. The By The Slice didn't look the best, but our fresh pizza was amazing. Crust was perfectly crispy. Had it well done. Highly recommend.

Ordered food to pick up and tbh it was very meh. It’s not bad but for the price you can get better in Austin. The garlic cheese bread was too crispy and the Medusa was eh, not bad but not great. The pepperoni pizza is better than dominos but the speciality pizza I had was okay at best Overall if you want a good pizza and you order at 920 this is a good spot, but if you’re ordering pizza for friends or family at 8 or 7 when there are many other better options available I’d say go somewhere else. For being so highly rated I’m disappointed, it’s not bad but it’s not 4.5 star good and the employees were cool.
Joe J — Google review
Ordered from here last night and the Medusa pizza was amazing!! Perfect crust, seasonings were perfect and not skimpy on the toppings. Thank you! I wish I lived in the area so I could order more but maybe next time I’m in Austin I can get it again. Thank you.
Transparentjelly — Google review
Hailing from NJ, I hold a high standard for pizza. For Austin, this is pretty okay but for me it's meh. Sauce needs more flavor, crust is a bit too hard. Cheese and toppings were good. It was also $38 for two small pies, a large pie from home is $16. An option because we're so close to it but won't be craving.
Mich — Google review
It’s good pizza. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it, but it’s certainly good. The selection of nearby food truck pizzas may be more worth it. Though this place is better suited if you’re looking to pickup a takeout order than any food truck. Has indoor and outdoor seating and open late.

The pizza was good, but the RANCH! OMG best ranch I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’m not sure what they put in it, but the flavor perfectly compliments the pizza.

Giovannis Pizza Stand is a hidden gem located inside a Valero gas station in the South Lamar area of Austin. The stand is known for serving good quality pizza at fair prices, making it a standout option in an area with limited and overpriced choices. Customers rave about their New York Style 18-inch pepperoni pizza and various specialty options.
Tasty pizza place in South Austin, that's attached to a gas station, that a friend introduced me to. Nice, dog-friendly seating in a covered patio. The pizza was flavorful and they gave my dog, Bogart, some grilled chicken, which he gobbled up happily. 😋 🍕

My pizza was really good. Asked for extra cheese but didn’t really get much cheese at all. Over all pretty good
Lisa G — Google review
The tacos in the morning and fresh and good. They have a big selection. My only complaint is I wish they would use regular containers for salsa. They put the salsa in teeny tiny ziplock usually used for other things let’s just say… and makes it hard to not make a mess. The smell also seeps through the bag

So delicious and so fast!! I’m happy with coming here on a quick break. I got to try the soup of the day and it was amazing! Bruschetta and meatballs were delicious.

Do not let the location fool you, Giovanni’s has the best pizza in the South Lamar area. The crust is light, fluffy and crisp with a hint of sourdough. Their main style is thin but not like flat bread. The ingredients are always fresh, production is fast and the staff is very nice. This is the go to pizza for all the neighbors in this area.

Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine in Austin offers an all-you-can-eat Brazilian pizza experience for $25, featuring 16 different kinds of pizzas. The menu is inspired by the owners' travels and offers a refined selection capturing their adventures. Visitors praise the delicious food, with standout options like the soppresata pizza and delectable dessert pizzas. The restaurant also serves 18 different kinds of pizza along with appetizers, ensuring a diverse culinary experience.
Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Winery is a trendy spot that offers a unique and memorable dining experience. The atmosphere is lively and stylish, making it an excellent choice for a special night out or a fun gathering with friends. The menu features a variety of creative and bold pizza flavors that are a refreshing departure from the norm. Each pizza is thoughtfully prepared and served in a gaucho-style setting, adding to the novelty of the experience. From savory to sweet options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. However, the service was a bit spotty during my visit. It was clear that some of the staff were new and still getting the hang of things. That said, they were kind and approachable, which helped make up for the occasional hiccups. The pricing is also on the higher side, which might make it more suitable for a special occasion than a regular dining spot. While the flavors and ambiance are worth trying, the cost and service quirks could be considerations for some diners. Overall, Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Winery is ideal for those seeking a trendy and adventurous culinary outing. The fun flavors and unique experience make it worth a try, especially for something new and different.

This is a gem of a place. Great indoor outdoor options, outdoor overlooking a small lake. Happy hour deals are great. 8 dollar craft cocktails, 9 dollar pizzas. Then they have all you can eat 3, 4, & 5 course meals. All you can eat salad and pizza? Sign me up. Service is fantastic. GM is constantly checking on people and the assistant GM is doing the same. Bar staff and servers are also on point.
Mike C — Google review
This is more of a 3.5. First off the space is beautiful - really high ceilings and plenty of seating. If you're looking for a place that can hosts large parties/groups I would recommend since they have plenty of long tables. The concept of the restaurant seems cool - unlimited pizza with people bringing around the pizzas to you. The meal first starts off with wagyu meatballs (which my husband thought they were raw based on how rare the meat was and its texture), lobster bisque (per my husband better than Costco) and arugula salad with lemon honey dressing (liked the dressing but the salad was drowning in it). Then the servers bring the pizza around. There were plenty of large groups and the servers consistently made sure pizzas went to them so for a big group I think you will have an endless stream of pizza coming to you. However, as it was just my husband and I we were often skipped by the servers and would either have to flag them down as they raced back to the kitchen or wait almost 10-15 minutes between slice of pizza. We finally brought this up to our hostess and thankfully they came out more consistently then. As a vegetarian, I am glad that luckily because we came on Friday night I was able to try 5 different types of pizza. Please note even with menu it isn't guaranteed that pizza will be there for you to try - when we went Friday there was no prosciutto/pear/blue cheese pizza, calabrese pizza, or white pizza. I did see some large groups request specific pizza so if you're larger group can certainly ask to bring pizza you're interested in. In terms of taste, the pizza itself is only slightly better than the standard delivery pizza. The crust isn't crispy (is floppy), the cheese was often very greasy and laid on too thick , and the toppings weren't as flavorful as their description. Our favorite was the white and my husband liked the garlic picanha. The dessert pizza was interesting. I know the menu says mascarpone cheese, but it honestly tasted like mozzarella so it was weird to eat the sweet toppings with mozzarella. Not entirely inedible, but not extremely enjoyable. We had an inKind credit to use so if it is your first time, sign up for inKind so you can get some money off the bill. At $25.50 my husband and I got full after about 6-7 slices. I wouldn't say it's the best deal, but certainly not the worst. Not sure if we would go again. Parking is free and plentiful as they have their own lot. For Friday night wasn't busy at all, but we did make a reservation on OpenTable just in case.

Amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and the inviting aroma of freshly baked pizza wafted through the air. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The decor was minimalistic yet tasteful, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for relaxing evening out. Moving on to the food, the pizzas was nothing short of fantastic. In addition to pizza, the restaurant also offered a variety of side dishes. Overall, my experience was exceptional. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We went to Delucca because a friend of mine told me it was really good. It is $25 per person but you get unlimited pizzas & so many different kinds. So hard to choose what my favorite was but, surprisingly the elote was one of them. You also get unlimited pizza desserts. Definitely go with a very empty stomach because it is a lot. You also get a 3 appetizers. It was worth the $25. I had a raspberry martini drop and it was sooo good. They also have a great happy hour but you have to seat at the bar. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on service is because we had to flag our waiter down for the ticket because he didn’t come around for a while.
Txgirl 1 — Google review
Pizzas were unique. All had thin soft crust. The lamb pizza blew me away. My only complaint is that we never received a clean plate. Any sauce spillage or leftover salad dressing would mix onto other types of pizza. It was more noticeable when then we switched to dessert pizza. BBQ and Buffalo sauce don't belong on my Nutella Pizza. Individual slices are small, but after trying all 12 of the 14 types of pizza, we didn't mind. Make a reservation. The first pizza of the day came out of the kitchen at 5p and the restaurant was completely full by 6:30p.
Stephanie T — Google review
Such a great experience. Every item I tried was delicious and flavorful. I loved all the dessert pizzas I tried which I never thought I would have liked. Another good thing about the pizza is that the slices are small so you can try all the different pizzas without feeling too stuffed. The ambiance is awesome and the staff is super helpful. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back again to try out more of their pizzas.
Sachin S — Google review
This is a quality experience with some flaws. It’s all you can eat, but they definitely shut you off and shunt you away. Fortunately, I didn’t want a feed bag and enjoyed the mini samplers. It’s just very confusing as to what and when you will get it. Servers race thru the restaurant and there’s no rhyme or reason and it’s difficult to understand. But, once you get some they are definitely unique and many quite tasty. Finally, the bartenders are superb! The drinks were fantastic.

Oddwood Brewing is a charming rustic brewery that offers a unique and cozy atmosphere, making visitors feel like they've stepped into the home of an old friend rather than an industrial brewery. The laid-back setting and decor create a welcoming vibe. The brewery features a rotating selection of country-inspired ales, hazy IPAs, and tart sours, including stand-out options like the dangerously drinkable Wolfmobile India Pale Lager made in collaboration with Zilker Brewing Company.
Really great brewery! They do lean into the pilsners. Great space with significant outdoor seating. They have a range of pizzas, but the main draw is KG’s BBQ in the parking lot.

Great bar with a big outdoor space. Beer was good, thin crust pizzas were good too. We wanted to taste the Egyptian barbecue but the line was so long so we ended up not tasting any. We were told they were good.

Brewery #6 of Part 2 of my Austin brewery visits. Oddwood Brewing has a little something for everyone, no matter what kind of beer you’re into. Their lineup is diverse, with a solid mix of styles, and they do them all really well. As an IPA fan, I was happy to find a couple of really tasty ones on tap. The vibe is cool, the beer is quality, and it’s a great spot to check out in Austin.
Adam R — Google review
This spacious brewery compliments its excellent beers with exciting pizza & food trucks, a mini arcade, and a shaded playground. They have many tables inside and outside and an attractively crafted hooked wooden bar with stools. The rambling, oddly angled dining room is reminiscent of a Bavarian beer hall. The arcade room is nostalgically decorated, suggesting a childhood game room. They have a free parking lot shared with the strip center next door. During events it can occasionally be challenging to find parking, but worth it for the buzzy atmosphere inside. Although Austin features many brewery and food truck pairings, it is hard to beat this place for the quality of both offerings (currently featuring KG BBQ's Egyptian fusion barbecue).

This place rocks! The beer is so good and the food is so good. Cannot go wrong if you like craft beer and pizza or exotic bbq.
Ryan S — Google review
It's always hard to beat a quality bar scene. Lucked out and got a seat at the bar, and had a wonderful experience hanging at the bar with some locals including one that worked at the brewery's taproom. The brews were superlative... not the place for beer fans that gravitate to only hazies, however! Wonderful experience, and wish they were situated in my neck of the woods! UPDATE: my seven days in Texas are now complete, and Oddwood's brews were the best I had!

Always solid pizza and beer offerings. Inside can get a bit loud, but still able to carry a conversation most of the time. Best. Vegan. Pizza. Ever. I have been dairy & meat free for 15 years; never in my life have I come across a pizza as luxurious as this that I can eat! The almond ricotta is to die for. As is the service; never a long wait, the garlic knots are incredible, etc I could really go on and on. This is one vegan spot that I have (meat eating) friends ask to return to! The cherry on top is taking it over and eating on Tweedys patio.

Great pizza and a great experience! I dont remember our waiters name, but his arm was in a sling. He was awesome! He even brought us a little fan outside to keep the flies away. I really appreciated that small gesture! The pizza was bomb and we would both order the same thing again!

I live in North Austin but was in South Austin the past 2 days and so I stopped in here both days for take out. Chicken tenders and fries were great and tried a few of the wing sauces, really great flavor across the board. Today got the pretzel and half a pepperoni pie and both were good although the only thing I'll comment is the pizza sauce is extremely herby with whole bay leaves in it but it was still overall tasty. Wish we lived closer seems like a cool place with great vibes. Thanks for everything guys :)

The quality of the food was fantastic. I think the garlic cheesy bread is a hidden gem. It comes with a marinara sauce that is very well seasoned. It's a great appetizer to share. Great place to watch NFL games, especially while its still warm to hang outside. Great chill atmosphere that doesnt feel too much like a sports bar but I definitely didnt feel out of place. It was kind of perfect for me to watch the MNF double header with my girlfriend who won't let me take her to most bars to eat. The hot honey pizza was great- I love that you can get by the slice for some of the specialty pizzas. The "toss" buffalo wings were on point. There was a good selection of craft beers- I thought the vacancy lager was delicious. I'm excited to try more of their pizza and wing options. Service was friendly and helpful. We visited this place for both lunch and dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was quite tasty, and the variety of beer was impressive. There were outdoor tables and even a playground, so the place was filled with families with kids. Since we always travel and go out with our cat, we prefer restaurants with a park-like outdoor setting, and we didn’t know such a place was so close to home. Our cat really enjoyed walking around while we waited for our food. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great. We were very satisfied and plan to visit regularly.

We really enjoyed our pizza! The proteins were plentiful--ham, and pepperoni. The sauce was just right, and the crust had a great texture. The employee at the register was kind and patient with us as first-time visitors. The only negative is about the chairs. They definitely will prevent you from hogging a table all night! I really wonder whose idea it was to go with tall metal chairs.

We went on a Friday evening. We ordered a pizza, mozzarella sticks and beer. All were great. The crust on the Chicken Fajita pizza was very soft, the ingredients were fresh and great quality. We liked the ordering system using Toast and from the phone. They have a large selection of craft beers (50 choices) from local breweries. I'd love for them to add additional hefe, lager and amber choices to their selection. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. They also have outdoor live music on some days (the Friday night we were there they didn't have live music). There is a play area for kids (in my opinion suitable for ages 3+ years).

Where shall I start? SERVICE - first when placing our order at the counter, the order taker seemed to be disinterested as he kept yawning while taking our order. We had to repeat our order twice because hecwas half asleep. FOOD- The pizza was decent. However, the house salad we ordered was less than desirable. The lettuce was 99% WHITE iceberg lettuce, very little, and no green lettuce to be found. Also, because there was one pepper shaker in the whole restaurant, it was empty. I asked to have it refilled only to have like the manager roll his eyes as if it were beneath him to do so. ATMOSPHERE- The majority of the indoor tables were dirty. Not sure why as there were approx. 6 employees chit chatting behind the counter. Lastly, after we had placed our order we were then told they could not give me change because I was paying with cash. Really! Nevertheless, we will not be back.

Amazing on tap selection and friendly staff will let you sample and make great recommendations. Pizza was very good, some of the best we’ve had- and we’ve had a lot. Our 2 year old had a great time playing and eating. The atmosphere - including guests and staff- couldn’t have been more laid back. 10/10 I’d recommend.

Great pizza and a nice extensive beer list that goes well beyond the standard concentrated list of IPAs that we are used to seeing in Austin. They’re always rotating new things on the beer menu and we really love their Italian grinder. I think they’re calzones pretty fabulous too, and you really can’t beat their pizza. Great little neighborhood spot, always has some games on the TVs, and if you got the littles, they can run around outside while you chill and have a beer and pizza. Big win for us!

Nestled in the historic James A. Patton building, Austin Pizza Garden offers a delightful casual dining experience with a focus on thin-crust pizzas. This charming eatery is perfect for families, featuring an outdoor play area that kids will love and ample seating for groups. The menu caters to younger diners with unique options like the noodle pie pizza, which combines mac and cheese with Canadian bacon—a fun twist that’s sure to please!
Right across from the Hampton Inn. Didn't know what to expect as we are from out of town. What a pleasant surprise! Such a cute little place. The service and food were so good! We will be back! We ordered the mozzeralla sticks, a pizza, greek salad and pizza rolls.
Shara K — Google review
I am really disappointed with this experience. I had often heard how awesome this pizza place was but it left me quite underwhelmed. I got an order of mozzarellasticks to go which was probably a mistake because they often get a little bit cold and chewy even after sitting for just a couple of minutes. I think they would be really good eating in the restaurant fresh and hot they look like they are homemade and home breaded. The pizza is sell however was very disappointing. They listed as a medium but I think it's less than a 10 inch pizza. The cheese tasted uncooked completely and was extremely chewy more than it should have been. The crust was all so undercooked and it was not much to it. The sauce is decent sitting on top of the right crust it would taste really good. I'm glad I finally got to try it but again very disappointed in the results.

This used to be a serious Austin icon. It's been sold and there are clear positives and negatives. No longer an "old austin" joint to be clear but still a decent place especially to take kids. The place used t be real hot or miss on burnt crust but as far as thin crust goes it was amazing when right. Literally the best thin in town... but alas no more. The menu used to be ridiculous... way to many items and the weird stuff was gross. Not the case anymore- still a lot of options but not a stupid amount of gross pizzas. Fair beer selection. The have gluten free which is great for people in my extended family. THEY HAVE A PLAYGROUND NOW (great since I have kids). That's about it. It's cool. Smooth. Consistent. And that has merits. The old place was better on its best days but wildly inconsistent.

I love pizza. I love outdoor patios with a TV and lots of space to talk and good service. All of those came together at Austin pizza Garden. Even though I was outside, I felt the amount of times I was asked if I needed anything was perfect for me that day. I was in no rush, it was a Sunday on Labor Day weekend and there was a game on the big screen. Pizza was solid and I am looking forward to taking one of the slices out of the fridge tomorrow! (I love cold pizza too)

Great selection and will customize my pizza. I don't like red sauce and they made me an olive oil pizza. Prices are fair as well as friendly good service.

Great outdoor place for the kids to burn energy, good beer selection, pizza is just okay at~15$ a small personal pizza. Solid friendly service. You're welcome.

I was really excited to try this place because it looks like it would be a great Austin pizza place. But no, I hate to say it but I think this really is the worst pizza I've had in Austin. I hate wasting food and I especially never leave pizza behind, but after one slice each, my friends and I didn't want anymore and neither of us wanted to take the leftovers. Crust was tasteless - like they forgot to put any seasonings in it. Seriously, fix this recipe and your pizza will taste an insane amount better. One bite and the cheese came off the entire slice. Gave it 2 stars because the waitress was very friendly and their ranch and marinara were actually really good.
Anny — Google review
Excellent brick-oven pizza and lasagna! Their lunch special is reasonably priced. Fantastic pizza. 14 beers on tap! One of Austins locally owned, best kept secrets. Also historic building from the 1800's. Old post office or something. Supposedly haunted. Ooooo. Lol.

La Volta Pizza Club is a cozy Italian pizza place located in Austin, Texas. The restaurant has a perfect blend of Austin and New York Italian atmosphere, set in an old house. The waitstaff is attentive and offers great recommendations. However, the restaurant can get quite loud due to music and conversations. Despite this, the food is amazing with delicious crispy fresh pies made from fine ingredients.
Ok…. Omg. I love this place. First time here and not only is this place now our favorite pizza joint, but the people were SUPER friendly! The greeter even shook our hands when we were leaving to thank us for coming in. This is how I remember Austin (50 year old local). But on top of the experience, the food was SO good! Best pizza around, seriously. We’ll be back and we’ll bring friends!

Delicious food and cute ambiance! Their vodka pizza is just delicious! Thin, crisp, amazing flavor and delicious cheese! Just perfect! You would definitely want to eat more of that! Do try and enjoy!

Ceaser salad and vodka pizza were great, only con was that the waitress never brought our drinks. Overall great experience, would return.

Definitely come here if you love a good crispy crust and plenty of pepperoni! The supreme pizza was a winner for our table. I loved the hibiscus margarita, it was strong and delicious. But the best part was definitely the arancini croquettes. Definitely add those to your order!
Katarina A — Google review
Food, Vibes, Service were incredible. The Vodka pie is 1000/10, meatballs and the caesar salad - unreal. My #1 pizza spot in ATX, hands down. Don't sleep on the aperol spritz either!
Raymond P — Google review
Yall this is by far the best pizza in Austin. Not only that but the vibes are unmatched, service is 10/10 and the staff is the chillest. Like genuinely one of the most Austin vibe places in town and one of the best pizzas you’ll ever get. We had a mistake with our order (honestly I messed up) and the staff went completely above and beyond to get it right. Crazy to gush about a pizza place this hard but it’s not a pizza place. It’s a damn pizza club.

I had my going-away dinner here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Isak and Alan went above and beyond to make me feel so special. Carly, our server, was incredible—attentive, fun, and such a joy to be around. The food was absolutely delicious, and I just love La Volta!

Food was great. We went in around dinner time and got the olives with a house salad to start. We also got a classic pizza, half pepperoni w ranch on the side (had to). The hibiscus margarita and a Negroni were great. Service was impeccable and the za did not disappoint.

If you're on the hunt for a pizza experience that will leave you craving more, Brooklyn Pie Co. is the place to be! This gem serves up classic thin crust pizzas with generous toppings, including a mouthwatering pepperoni and a loaded supreme option. The slices are impressively large—perfect for those who appreciate a hearty meal. Guests rave about the quick service and friendly staff, making it an inviting spot to enjoy your food.
Pizza is amazing! Love NY style pizza and this is exactly right. I’m also happy they sell by the giant slice but I just wish there was indoor seating.
Louis H — Google review
2 slices of pepperoni and fries was $30 dollars... the pizza is not that good, my opinion. I rather go to whataburger and get two large combos for $30. These prices are crazy and I'll never eat here again. I'll take.my ass to home slice or aviator pizza.
TYP T — Google review
I ordered a slice of pepperoni to go. I waited about 10 minutes thinking it was a fresh slice but when I got back home about 5min drive away the pizza was hard and room temperature. I eat out quite often in search of the best food around town and the pizza would have been much better had it not been for this experience.

One of my favorite pizzas here in Austin. I love ordering from Brooklyns because I can't have too much cheese. On the ordering note, I ask for "Light Cheese" and it's perfect every time.

Yum Yum Yum! Always in the mood for their GIANT slice. They share a patio area with Little Woodrow’s next door and it’s a great place to watch the game or grab a quick drink or two. I’ve enjoyed the wings, garlic knots, and their signature giant slice. Service is quick and friendly!

pizza is huge!! our first time here so we didn’t quite know how to order, but everything was great! pizza is by the slice, but they are super big so be warned, lol. will definitely come again! :)
Breeanna P — Google review
The pizza we had was really delicious. I love a classic pepperoni pizza and my husband had the supreme and all the toppings were fresh. The sizes of the slices were HUGE. Which we were not expecting but we didn’t complain because it was yummy. It’s a classic thin crust pizza which is my favorite style of pizza. The service was quick and the customer service was friendly.
Pat M — Google review
I’ll be honest, this is one of the most disappointing pizza places in Austin. There was not enough ranch or mariara and ordering extra sauce was expensive for sauce. Also, the garlic knots were covered in some sort of butter sauce that was terrible and messy and didn’t hide the burnt bottoms of the garlic knots. Plus, no seating and poor service.

Oribello's Bar and Kitchen has quickly become a beloved destination for food enthusiasts. The pepperoni pizza bursts with flavor, while the supreme version is generously topped, ensuring every bite is delightful. Don't miss out on their mozzarella sticks; the cheese pull is simply spectacular! For cocktail lovers, the espresso martinis are a standout—smooth and rich with just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere exudes a cozy and relaxed vibe, making it an ideal spot for a casual night out.
This place did not disappoint. The first time we ordered the birria pizza with the consomé. This was so tasty and delicious, more meat would be my only suggestion. We also had the Ube tres leches which was absolutely flavorful. For brunch, I ordered the ube pancakes and the ube margarita, and it was the best!!!!! I recommend get something salty to pair with either of the two items as it can be a little too sweet. Really recommend this place!!
Atreus S — Google review
Went for happy hour here with my friend and we had a blast! We tried their ube themed cocktails which were so inventive and delicious. We also had the chicken bowl and a pizza and it was great. We got super full and sat on the shaded patio with our dogs. It’s right on the street but the stone wall blocked so much of the sound so it felt very tucked away. The staff and manager were so kind and sweet and came and gave our dogs ice water while we sat outside. Loved it, can’t wait to go again!!

Super masarap! It's so cute inside the restaurant and the bartenders are always so sweet and attentive. Dinner and brunch are equally amazing, the ube tres leches is to die for, the ube pancakes are like eating huge fluffy cakes with pure ube extract on top, the birria pizza with consumme is a winner every time, and they accommodated my request for a virgin ube colada. 10/10 service and food!!! My favorite filipino place in Austin as a fil-am.
Kim — Google review
My family and I visited Oribello's Bar and Kitchen for the first time today, and hands down, it was the best experience! We started with pork lumpia, mozzarella sticks, birria fries, and loco moco fries—and it did not disappoint. We didn’t get to taste the pork lumpia because my daughter didn’t share it with us… she’s a very picky eater, but she left no crumbs on the plate, so that says a lot about how good it was! The mozzarella sticks were delicious, and the cheese pull?! I love a good cheese pull! We ordered the birria pizza for our main meal, and it’s a must-try! I paired my food with two cocktails: an Ube colada and a Lychee spritz. I loved both, and yes, I drank both—because why not? =) The Ube colada was good, but the Lychee spritz was on point! It was so refreshing—perfect for enjoying a cool spring breeze on the beach or poolside. Don’t sleep on the Ube Tres Leches cake. It’s light and absolutely delicious. =P The staff was amazing! DJ and his dad were both very friendly and welcoming. Overall, this family-owned restaurant offers delicious food and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Ube. Colada. TRY IT! This place is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for an amazing dining experience. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, perfect for a relaxed yet special evening. Birria pizza is a must try! The filipino fusion with Mexican roots is just delish. Make sure to end your evening by trying the Ube tres leches. 10/10.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. I came here when they first opened and loved the food so much that I added it as a food destination for my bachelorette a few months later. By then they had just expanded their menu and let me tell you..... I love this place even more now! Not only is the food great, but the staff has always been wonderful during my visits. Wes especially made my bachelorette SO FUN. He knew how to make that day feel special and how to hype up the energy. Wes, if you're single.. one of the girls is interested.

4.5/5 Oribello’s is a great spot. They have a very creative menu with unique, inventive flavors. The owners stopped by to chat and they are friendly guys. We ordered their ube colada, loco moco fries, birria pizza, adobo wings, and ube tres leches. All were tasty and had unique flavors. Recommended!

The food and service at Oribello’s was AMAZING - and definitely an underrated gem on Guadalupe. Staff was informed & charismatic, and incredibly welcoming. For apps we had the pork lumpia; fried to perfection and crispy as hell. Then we had the longganisa breakfast pizza, and tocilog as our main course(s) and they were perfectly flavorful. The pizza was an incredibly pleasant surprise, and a smart fusion of Filipino and Italian flavors - not to mention it was massive. Hot honey and longganisa were a perfect combo for the white pizza cheese & green onions. We had to take the rest home, it was huge and 100% worth the price. They were out of ranch today, but our server provided a calamansi aioli which paired amazing with the salty-sweet pizza. The tocilog is just like at home, but elevated. It was incredibly well balanced, the crispy garlic rice and the tocino were our faves on the plate. And if the food alone was more than something to write home about, the Ube-Colada at Oribello’s is unforgettably good. Perfect for a brunch with loved ones. We loved everything at Oribello’s today, and we’ll be back soon to try more of the menu!

Dovetail Pizza & Bar is a trendy pizza joint located in the vibrant Bouldin Creek neighborhood. The menu offers a fusion of New York and Neapolitan styles with an emphasis on slow-fermentation dough.
They had me at fried olives and they did not disappoint! The shrimp Alfredo was yummy and had a good amount of sauce. The prime rib pizza was really good. Their homemade sesame chili oil was addictive. Great cocktail options too!
Erin A — Google review
We ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken, Fried Calamari, and the Prime Rib Pizza. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant. Nothing mind-blowing, but we had a good meal. The Caesar Salad was good—just the right amount of dressing and Parmesan, and I loved the mushrooms in it. The calamari was okay, but the fried lemon and onion that came with it were a bit odd for my taste. I did like the generous amount of arugula, though. The Prime Rib Pizza was delicious, but definitely not the typical one. If you like arugula, you’ll probably enjoy this one. The pizza had a little kick, and the meat in it was super tender.
Katherine M — Google review
This pizza is amazing!! I'm gluten free and their crust and flavor reminded me so much of Chicago bar pizza in the best way. It was thin, crunchy, huge in size (not the usual tiny personal pies I get at other restaurants) and so so yummy. Leftovers were great the next day too when I warmed them up in my oven. Customer service was attentive, vibe was relaxed but still nice. It was perfect for a pizza date night. My partner loved the regular pizza too and was raving about it the next day. We can't wait to come back! This is gonna be a regular rotation for sure.

On our second visit to Dovetail Pizza, we knew exactly what we were coming back for—the Prime Rib Pizza. And once again, it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly crisp, the prime rib was incredibly tender, and the flavors were just spot on. We also ordered the Wedge Salad, which was fresh and had the perfect balance of crisp lettuce and creamy dressing. The Corn Fried Calamari was a standout appetizer—light, crispy, with greens, making it a unique take on a classic dish. The Fried Shrimp Alfredo was rich and flavorful, with a perfectly creamy sauce that wasn’t too heavy. Dovetail Pizza continues to impress, and after this second visit, we’re sure it won’t be our last! ________ Dovetail Pizza impresses with its well-rounded menu, especially with the Wedge Salad, Pesto Chicken Macaroni, and Prime Rib Pizza. The Wedge Salad, with its crisp iceberg lettuce, smoky bacon, and tangy blue cheese dressing, offers a refreshing start to the meal. The Pesto Chicken Macaroni combines perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, herbaceous pesto sauce and tender chicken, delivering both comfort and flavor. The Prime Rib Pizza is the star, featuring succulent slices of prime rib and perfectly baked crust. Each dish offers a satisfying blend of flavors, making Dovetail Pizza a must-visit for any food lover.

The pizza was so good! The crust was amazing and we got the hot honey on the side. It was some of the best hot honey I had had! We also got the buffalo wings which were amazing (coming from avid wing lovers) and the fried olives (unique and pretty good). We 100% will be back for a nice date night
Atlanta F — Google review
We stopped by Dovetail on a Saturday evening around 7pm and were pleasantly surprised to find seating without any hassle. The atmosphere was on point. The music matched the space, the energy was relaxed, and it felt like the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings and both were incredible. But what really took the experience to the next level was the service. Our server DJ was easily one of the best parts of the night. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Her recommendations were on point, she checked in at just the right times, and she introduced us to their lineup of house made sauces. DJ’s personality brings serious value to the place. Give her a raise. Seriously. The chimichurri and chili oil were both solid, but the ricotta ranch was the star. Creamy, tangy, and honestly addictive. If you're getting wings or pizza, that sauce is a must. No complaints at all. Great food, great energy, and standout service. We will definitely be back for the meat pizza next time. Sorry I did not get a good picture of the pizza, guess you will just have to see it for yourself.

Big Nonna's is a must-visit for pizza lovers. The effort put into the pizza sauce with its deep garlic flavor and traditional Italian seasonings makes it one of the best places to enjoy pizza. The soft bread with slightly crispy sides complements the flavorful sauce perfectly. It's not just about the food; the customer service is also exceptional, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a vegan or a cheese lover, Big Nonna's has something for everyone.
I've enjoyed Big Nonna's many times and it is always the best decision of my day. Their unique visions of making vegan pizzas and sides will have you returning every month for at least their new monthly special. This post spotlights their Margherita - red sauce, basil, mozz, olive oil, and sea salt - on a thin but chewy New York crust is wonderful. I added smoked tempeh. Every time I get a pizza, whether it's been their thick drool-worthy Sicilian or their traditional NY, I'm getting the garlic knots, too. They're served with a side of marinara, but they do sell vegan ranch and additional marinara. I haven't been capable of posting pics lately prior to eating, but if you eat here, you'll understand 😉 they also have Zucchini Kill and Luv Fats ice cream.

It's like artwork here, but with pizza. 🍕 And delicious as can be. And healthy too?? You have me sold. Several years ago I tried out this restaurant because it was very close to my new home and I was also having a craving for some good pizza that was healthy ish pizza.🍕 This is by far and hands down the best Vegan pizza that I have ever had. It really is. It's so fresh. Not only was the food absolutely fantastic, but the customer service was great as well and they were all very helpful, friendly and professional. I normally see the same couple of guys and Willie is always super friendly And not to mention, the grilled or blackened brussel sprouts that I ordered were so amazing that they barely made them home without me diving into them! Whatever sauce they use is out of this world. (I think it has Sriracha or some sort of a hot sauce on it, it's friggin delicious is what it is!) The pizza was very fresh and still very warm and all taste it absolutely delicious, very fresh and wholesome and the presentation, the detail taken and making it was evident. The lil Mac pizza was unexpectedly scrum diddly scrumptious and I don't normally try new ish pizzas or entrees unless I know I'll like it for certain. It's great for your carb loading days for fuel and energy in the gym. 💪 I normally get the Veg Out Pizza, with the gluten free crust, with xtra spinach and xtra artichokes, but recently I tried the meat out which is made in-house with fresh vegan pepper and sausages, I think they beets as sausage on the pizza was extremely tasty and wonderful too. They make a homemade vegan oatmeal cream pie that will melt in your mouth. 🤤 They also have excellent and quite yummy vegan ice cream here too. My all-time favorite is the Death Metal by Chocolate 🍫 But the Loyal Buddies and the Sun Chip is delectable also. I also recently tried the Chocolate Fudge Crumb 🍫 by Luv Fats which is friggin delicious. 😋 If you like chocolate you'll love this one. ... (The Sun Out ice cream pairs very well with either a Peroni or Stella Artois beer and a protein banana 🍌 pancake) 🥞 And don't ask me how I know this. 😉 I will definitely be coming here again, and again, and again, for sure. I highly recommend this place if you like pizza, and not just pizza but really good ice cream, pizza that is on the healthy side, vegan, vegetarian or healthy food or just great food in general! 🙏 Keep up the great work here, you guys totally rock. 🎸

I had the cheese NY slice and WOW! I’ve never had vegan cheese like this! They make their vegan mozz in house and it shows! Definitely doesn’t have that gummy/chewy feeling most processed vegan cheeses have! Their garlic knots were good as well but the pizza is the star!! ⭐️

Big Nonnas makes their own toppings and the combination of their delicious toppings and perfect pizza crust resulted in a gastronomic pizza experience - the best I’ve had in the Austin area in last 7 years since moving here. We got the Meat Out which was so good I forgot to take a pic until we had consumed half of it. Our friends got the Beeteroni pizza. Let’s talk about the Beeteroni. They take beets and make them into pepperoni like slices but with flavor that is out of this world! It’s so very good. The fact that EVERYTHING is vegan means you can’t go wrong ordering anything on their menu. 2/24/2023 - tried the single slice Sicilian pizza with added toppings of roasted garlic, artichoke heart and Beeteroni - again the aroma wafting from just one piece was mouthwatering. Flavor was fantastic - dough is thicker but light with just the right firmness on the bottom. Again a winner! I’ve added a photo of the single slice.
Colleen F — Google review
Let’s start with the food! I could tell a lot of effort went into the pizza sauce as this is what made everything come together. Full of a deep garlic flavor with traditional Italian seasonings, the sauce certainly carried this slice into what I consider one of the best pizza places I have even eaten at. It was the roasted garlic for me!!! The bread, well I don’t know what it was made of but it was so incredibly soft and the sides were slightly crispy. It kinda reminded me of a deep dish pizza, similar to the dee dishes you would have at Chicago. The cheese was also very delicious! I still can’t believe it’s vegan! I enjoyed their refreshing lemonade, also totally vegan! Wheeew! This place was certainly a hit. I will be returning very soon.
LIFE M — Google review
I've been vegan for a little more than 10years and this is by far THE BEST PIZZA I've had!!!!!!! I got half "Meat Out" and the other half "Supreme". I've never had pizza with beets, this topping added an excellent flavor and texture to it all! The crust was on point, not too thick, dry, chewy, or hard, simply perfect! I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, this too was perfect! The biggest issue for me with cookies purchased from vegan restaurants is that they are overly sweet (I am a huge cookie lover), but this made for a pleasant sweet treat after. The price of their menu is very fair. My non-vegan friends loved it as well. Big Nonna's, keep doing your thing!!!

Allday Pizza in Tarrytown is a must-visit for pizza lovers. The by-the-slice option allows you to savor various flavors without committing to a whole pie. The Sweet Sausage slice stands out with its delightful combination of flavors, while the Stracciatella offers a light and cheesy experience. The Tomato Tomatoe slice boasts bold and perfectly balanced flavors. This cozy pizza stand is conveniently attached to Flos, a wine shop, creating a symbiotic dining experience.
We tried Allday Pizza for lunch the other day, and it was awesome! We came by on a rainy Saturday around 11:30, and there was only one other person there. I will say that they really dont have a designated parking area, and you will more than likely need to find street parking. I was lucky to find one spot around the corner, and got permission from the restaurant nextdoor to use it, which was really kind of them. After odering we found a seat inside and got our own drinks. The patio area is covered and really nice, so that's a great option too. The food only took about 3 minutes before our buzzer went off! It was quick, hot and delicious! I highly recommend getting the sampler pie so that you can try 6 different flavors! The slices are generous portions and 1 was enough for my kids and I. We will be back again for more!

A 10 of 10 pizza restaurant. Relaxed walk up window, HOT and fresh pizza. They have roughly 8 different flavors to choose from. What’s super fun is you order by the slice mostly and they allow you to make a full pizza of 6 slices since all their pizza is one size. Loved the experience and absolutely will be coming back. Great for a quick bite or a relaxed date night!

I walked into All Day Pizza in Austin thinking I’d just grab a slice to taste test and a dessert as I had already eaten… and somehow ended up on a full culinary journey. One slice turned into a Caesar salad “taste test,” a creamy tiramisu adventure, and a truly spectacular coffee-meets-ice cream situation called the affogato. Every bite felt intentional, balanced, and way too good for my original plan of “just a snack.” The vibe? Like someone crossbred an artisanal pizzeria with a chill game café. You could chill there for hours to play table games while inhaling another slice. Bonus points — the kitchen runs smoother than an espresso shot. These folks clearly know what they’re doing.

This place is awesome. Austin needed a top tier nyc pizza slice shop and all day delivers. My favorites are the cheese, pep pep, and tomato tomatoe (trust me). The soft serve is incredible and the Cesar salad is one of the best in Austin. Don’t sleep on either! The owner, Daniel, cares about his product and his patrons and you can tell. Don’t let the line scare you. It moves fast and look at it time well spent with people you hopefully enjoy spending time with :)

This is an amazing pizza place right across from Camp Marbry Their NY style pizzas are top-notch! 👌🏽 Lots of options to choose from - so we got a slice or two of 6 different pizzas The pickle pizza is unique and delicious! Not too tangy but just enough to make it interesting The standards like Margherita are very good too. And their gelato is a fantastic way to wrap up a wonderful meal The seating is all outdoor - it’s beautiful and well-ventilated, even in Austin summers.

Cute little walk up pizza window. Wine bar is located inside the building. The pizza is great and I understand why it is raved about. I love that you can order by the slice so you can try a little bit of everything. We had a ceasar salad as well and it was wonderful. The service was very quick and everything was fresh. It was a great spot for a cute double date. Everyone seemed to be very dressed up here for the occasion. We can't wait to visit the other location as well. -It gets VERY busy so expect to be waiting outside in a long line. -If you're dining with a group I would suggest someone to go order the drinks from inside and be on the lookout for a table while the other orders the food. -There is no parking for the restaurant so you have to park along the street (which is down a hill.) Be prepared to walk. -There is limited seating inside and most seating is outside. There are a few fans but it is still quite warm.

This was exactly my kind of pizza restaurant!!! The food was amazing and the ambiance was just what I love for a fast casual restaurant. The pizza is so delicious!! The crust is thin, definitely New York style. And the different types are great. You have a variety from meat to white to red. My favorites were the , pepp and pep and the cacio e pepe. The Caesar salad also had a delicious spin on it with thin and crunchy croutons. While I loved the pizza and the creative menu and ambiance, the soft serve dessert was truly chefs kiss. It was smooth and creamy and the toppings were heavenly. The maldon sea salt was the perfect touch with the cookie crumbs and chocolate syrup. I wish I lived in Austin so could come here all the time.

Possum Pizza is a vibrant food truck that serves plant-based pizzas and vegan sides. Despite its name, the food truck offers delicious New York-style thin crust slices known as 'vegan trash pizza,' which are popular among the vegan community. In addition to classic offerings like pepperoni made from seitan, Possum Pizza also features specialty pizzas such as Buffalo Cauli and Bacn Macn Cheezer.
This place is the spot! 🍕 I’ve come by this truck for years and quality never decreases! Best of all it’s vegan but so good that anyone shouldn’t pass by without getting a pie! 💗🐽🐄💗 Recommend trying different pizzas on the menu but, if you can’t choose, start with the Bac N’Mac..it won’t disappoint.

POSSUM PIZZA 🍕 All the flavors, creative toppings, and necessary sides 😋 Located in the Vegan Nom food park, this fine food truck has been holding it down and providing pizza smiles and satisfied tummies for a few years. Homemade crusts, too 🤤 Surrounded by colorful murals, restroom next door, and great tunes. Whether you’re vegan or maybe just doing a meatless Monday, you’re going to LOVE your unforgettable experience at Possum Pizza!

O.M.G, literally! Vegan Pizza to the freak'n rescue! I am so so SO glad my wife and I stumbled onto Possum Pizza, hands down my favorite pizza joint! I cannot wait to go back! Love the truck design, logo, & style! We got: -Large pizza with pepperoni's and half jalapenos, spicey & delicious! -Motz sticks! Yummy! &! -Fried wings, with buffalo sauce on the side. (The best dank fried wings I've had!) I struggled to remember to share! Whoops. For real, though.. for two people, this was our early dinner and midnight snack; the food went a long way. COVID Notes -Called in the order in advance. -The order was effortless, quick, & accurate. -Excellent customer service -No issues whatsoever. Thank you, Possum Pizza, for the fantastic Vegan Options!

In the vegan food truck park on Cesar Chavez which is a favorite spot. Possum specifically does “trash” pizza: thin crust with inspired, creative signature pies like the bac-n Mac and the Philly cheese steak which are two of my favorites. Check their instagram to see if they are going to be open. Text to order ahead

They know their self-proclaimed trash food for sure! The Buffalo Cauli is such a win, spicy as it needs to be without being overwhelming with the cool ranch balancing it out. The foldable and thin slices are always a fun way to eat pizza. The cheezy bread is a nice sized 10" and so yummy. The mozz stix were fantastic, but at $10 for only 4, it's a little steep, but if you can spend it, get them! Get 3 orders! Great customer service as you would expect from Vegan Nom Food Park.
Rachel J — Google review
I was visiting town and was craving pizza so I had to visit this place. They only had large left but that didn’t stop me from ordering. Service was quick (but you can order ahead) and I was recommended the possum bites. The vegan ranch that came with it was soooo good. The pizza was perfect too. Crust was just right and the flavor was nothing like I have ever had before. Going to miss this place the most in Austin since I don’t have vegan pizza of the caliber back home.
Agustin — Google review
the food is delicious! I got the vegan mozz stix, their vegan cheezy bread, and the possum’ron (16’) and all were good! Only comment I have is that the flavors in the pizza was a bit too strong for me but I’ll be going here again to try their other pizza’s!
Olga G — Google review
Wowie! Vegan pizza 🍕 The crust is perfectly crispy without being greasy, the seitan pepperoni was spicy and the perfect texture. I loved the sauce too! Vegan cheese is never going to be just like dairy cheese, but to me, it was perfect. The owner and I even talked about how possums are great. We will definitely be back.

Palm Pizza offers a new ice cream sandwich featuring a delectable chocolate chip cookie filled with Valrhona chocolate and topped with salt. The cookie is thick, soft, and not overly frozen, making it a perfect complement to the ice cream. The pizza at Palm Pizza is also highly praised for its delicious crust and fresh ingredients. The ambiance has been updated to create a more inviting space, making it an ideal spot for a first dinner date.
Most authentic Northeastern pizza in Austin. Great service and by the slice options are generous sizes. Their sauce has a good spice to it! Covered outdoor patio seating and parking in the back!

We love the pizza here 10/10 But we just wanted to try the dessert. So we decided to order key lime pie. It's a weird flavor. The cream on top is bitter, and the crust on the bottom is so salty. I'm not sure if it is supposed to taste like that. By the way, we'll go back for pizza for sure.
Gunyakrit.g S — Google review
We opted for a whole pepperoni pizza for two people, and I love that it came with fresh basil and shaved parmesan! The pizza was delicious, I just wish the crust had been softer. It’s a pretty crispy and thin crust. The whole pizza could easily feed three people - we ended up taking the last few slices to go. I think a salad and 1-2 slices each would be enough for two people. Don’t sleep on the salted dark chocolate chip cookie because holy cow it’s delectable. I’ll definitely be back to try the Palm next!
Jen M — Google review
I came here for the sub and was disappointed. Last night, I got a slice of the Palm and their Italian hero sub - The pizza was pricey, but good - had a solid crust and all the toppings tasted great, but for 5.75 a slice, it felt expensive. I had heard recommendations about their sub and was really interested to try it, but for $24, it fell short. The bread was hard and chewy, maybe it was old, but it made chewing difficult and for the price, it should have been fresh. The sub itself was huge, but layered in a way where you couldn't really get all the ingredients in one bite - the meat was all on one side and the veggie toppings took up 2/3 of the sub, meaning some bites were just that - what they really should have done here is layer the meat across the sub and then added the toppings throughout so that each bit was even. I love sandwiches and heard this place could rival Homeslice's sub, but this felt like a lazy attempt. As for the ambience, the ordering area felt like it didn't have AC running. The water they had available was warm and there weren't any (or if there were some, I couldn't notice it) fans in their outdoor seating and that also felt like a miss for a business operating in Texas. I would go back for the pizza, but unless they rework the sub, I don't think I'd ever order that again.
Vanessa — Google review
Decent pizza, but definitely on the pricier side. Paying $35 for 6 slices (there were 3 of us so we each got 2 slices) was a little painful. Crust is thin and crispy. Personally I felt like there could have been more cheese on the pizza.
Anastasia — Google review
Most expensive pizza takeout in town (new york style) when you factor the automatic 18% service charge. $38 for 1 pie hurt my heart. Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, let’s talk food quality. Vodka pie. Nice balance of flavors and ratios. Great tasting crust, although I found the underside more chewy and less crunchy than to my taste. I find Pedrosos and Homeslice more well rounded and affordable. Palm can hang with All Day and Little Deli as solid back up options. Need to try Feral next…
Jeremy D — Google review
Really good service. Best meatball parmesan sub ever. Huge and really good. Toasted sesame bun was nice touch. The 1/2 size was plenty. Pepp slice good as always. Finally tried the Vodka square slice. Meh. Burnt to a crisp unfortunately and not much sauce. I would try it again in hopes it improves. Craft beer selection is limited but what they do have is some of the better local stuff. Parking sucks as always but its East Austin so you know that. If you beat the rush you might get lucky and get a spot in the small lot. Otherwise its to the street you go. Lots of homeless in this area. They hang out a couple blocks down. Ambulance was tending to a probable overdose when I went by. Very hot if you are eating at location during the summer as there is only limited outdoor seating. The fans are inadequate and dont cover all the tables. They will probably rectify that at some point.

The meatball sandwich was 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽. The bread was heavenly. A little sloppy to eat, but totally worth it. The pepperoni pizza was amazing. The crust was 10/10.

Salvation Pizza is a must-visit destination for pizza lovers, located on the vibrant Rainey Street and at Domain NORTHSIDE. This eatery specializes in New Haven-style thin-crust pizza, featuring a hand-pounded crust topped with fresh ingredients that create an unforgettable flavor experience. The menu boasts crowd favorites like Chicken Bacon Ranch, Truffle Spinach Mushroom, and Spicy Hawaiian pizzas.
The pizza was good because I'm picky and I bought it fresh out of the oven. I avoided the pizzas that were ready and asked what they had coming out of the oven. Pepperoni was sold out and getting cooked fresh so that's what I got. Two hot and ready slices were good. Greasy but good. I would recommend it if you can get something fresh that you want. Seating is only a handful of tables and a bar (no not one that serves alcohol) against the wall. Beyond that it's at the gate seating. Limited drink variety. I'll return here if I'm in the mood for pizza!
Keith L — Google review
Would give 0 stars if possible, we bought four slices and it was 36 dollars only for us to find at least four hairs in our pizza. Health code violation- I suggest eating here.

Erin D — Google review
$22 for two small slices of pizza and a 20fl oz drink. Complete rip off. I will not rate higher than 1-Star for that reason alone. Hopefully you got snacks for the kiddos and don't get pinned into buying overpriced airport food.
Corey T — Google review
My supreme Pizza slice was small, very thin, sparsely coated with little ingredients and nothing what a pizza should taste like. This just adds to the bad rap about overpriced and poor tasteing airport food.

Sigh, come on Salvation Pizza! I'd rather have you succeed than some bougie cafe or ANOTHER magazine shop. So here's a tip, free of charge. Look, it's fine to hike up prices to make rent, but don't skimp on your product. Or else you will keep getting bad reviews until you learn... or leave space for someone who gets it. Reviews at your other shop claim good sized slices, just not anyone at this location. Git gud noobs.

If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable pizza experience, look no further than Small’s Pizza! This gem serves up the best New Haven-style pizza in Austin, crafted by passionate owners who truly understand their craft. On our first visit, my girlfriend and I couldn't resist ordering two pies—one topped with classic pepperoni and another featuring pepperoni with mushrooms. The standout feature of Small's Pizza is undoubtedly its incredible tomato sauce, which strikes a perfect balance between savory and sweet.
Best New Haven style pizza in town! Owners are amazing down to earth people that know pizza. The pizza is so good that my girlfriend and I bought two during our first time going to Smalls. Pictures include pepperoni and pepperoni with mushrooms. Pros: The tomato sauce is amazing a perfect balance of savory and sweet, the cheese is dreamy smooth incredibly satisfying, and the crust… cooked perfectly, so perfect that you may think it’s burnt but it’s just been cooked and taken out at the right time. Cons: None Pizza 10/10
Joseph F — Google review
Grabbed a vodka sauce pizza with pepperoni to-go. It came out to $30 with tax. A little steep for a pizza but I'm okay with splurging on a pizza this heavenly every once in a while. I never get pizza without pepperoni, but I think next time I'll skip it because the vodka sauce was truly that amazing. So much flavor packed into it and added a great savory, creamy layer to the pizza. The crust was not dry and had the perfect char. Pizza took 15 min to come out and staff was friendly- great experience! I noticed they had an empty display case so I'm hoping that means one day they'll be displaying and selling pizza by the slice!!! Would be a dream for lunch. Will be back to try a plain vodka and a sausage pizza!

Is this the best pizza in Austin? This New Haven style pizza is definitely in the top 2 and may just be #1. The pizza is perfectly cooked and has the right crisp. Ingredients and sauce/cheese ratio are perfect. Pizza rankings: 1. Smalls - love New Haven style 2. All day - though really 1B - best gourmet and flavors 3. Pizza Di Roma - the Pinsa is divine 4. Pedrosos - the tomato pie is perfection 5. Feral - great NYC style

Got a vodka pie. Side of hot honey. Absolutely phenomenal. Portnoy would give this a 10.0 if they cooked it another minute because he’s a psychopath and likes burnt pizza. This is exactly what a perfect slice should be.

Delicious crunchy pizza at their new location. I had the tomato pie and vodka half and half. The tomato sauce had a very delicious acidity and was very vibrant. Delicious texture

Great addition to Austin’s pizza scene. Love the sauce, the crisp undercrust - get the anchovy pie!! You won’t be disappointed.

"New Haven" style pizza that is actually New Haven style. Right balance of crisp and doughiness. Sauce and cheese are on point. As a New Haven transplant, definitely made me feel like I was back home.

Small’s is slinging some of the best pizzas in town. Quality toppings & quality crust. Baked to a perfect crispness with a slight char. And they do a killer seasonal salad to complement the za and make you feel not so bad about that third or fourth slice you’re going to end up eating. Great selection of beverages to boot. Deft Pies is a must-visit for pizza lovers! This charming spot serves up mouthwatering pizzas and delightful bruschetta that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. While the prices may be on the higher side, the generous portions and incredible flavors make it worth every penny. If you're in search of a satisfying meal, Deft Pies won't disappoint!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Pairing: Craft Beer & Incredible Pizza! I wasn’t expecting to find some of the best pizza around at a brewery — but wow, was I pleasantly surprised! Deft Pies at Old Gregg Brewery is the kind of hidden gem that makes you wonder why every brewery doesn’t have a pizza oven out back. The vibe is unbeatable: relaxed, lively, and full of good energy. You’ve got cold craft beer on tap, the smell of fresh pizza baking, and people genuinely enjoying themselves — what more could you ask for? The pizza was on point. I ordered the Texas Tavern Pie and it came out hot, crisp, and packed with flavor. The crust had that perfect wood-fired char, the sauce was rich and tangy, and the toppings were fresh and thoughtfully chosen — nothing skimpy or overdone. You can tell they care about quality, not just filling bellies. Best part? It paired perfectly with my IPA. Whoever thought of combining artisan pizza with locally brewed beer deserves a medal. If you’re into great food, great beer, and great atmosphere, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick pint or settling in for the night, this pizza is not to be missed.
Raymond H — Google review
I paid $19 (with tip) for a Caesar salad that was very disappointing. The chicken on it seemed more like BBQ chicken than anything that belonged on a Caesar. The dressing was so thick and gelatinous it wouldn’t even come out of the container, there was barely any Parmesan, and they didn’t even use the right kind of lettuce. I really enjoy the brewery they’re connected to, but I’ll be eating beforehand from now on.
Raymie B — Google review
Overpriced, mediocre pizza. They don’t have good practice of sweeping their oven, so you’re likely to find burnt flour and soot all over the base of your food. Extreme blackening on the edges, burnt to say the least. And I can appreciate a good char. Toppings are sparse and improperly distributed. It has potential, but unfortunately for the price point there are much better options.
Tony K — Google review
LOVE the pizza! The recipes are spot on with flavor, and they are huge. One pizza feeds 3 of us. Even the kids love it. Service is always friendly. This quickly became our go-to pizza joint in the neighborhood. 🍕 😋

Went to Deft Pies with some friends last night and we were all impressed! I could eat the bruschetta everyday for the rest of my life and be a very happy girl. The smoked pork belly pastor with pineapple pizza was so well balanced. Salty, sweet, spicy…yummers! I appreciate a thin crust pizza and this does not disappoint. Welcoming atmosphere and staff. Do not sleep on Deft Pies!
Jessica H — Google review
Sneaky favorite for a solid pizza up in Pflugerville. You gotta try the Texas Tavern Pie with the smoked chorizo! I appreciate how they explicitly list that the pesto on the menu DOES NOT contain nuts, attention to detail like that goes a long way!

THESE PIES ARE PRECIOUS, absolutely chronic, anyone complaining about price probably shouldn’t be going out to eat in the first place. I love these decadent slices. Don’t believe the poors in the review section, try this pizza yourself!
